  Speaker 3: Telling the story once that in this magazine called Rob Report,

  Speaker 3: that there was a statue I used to see for years.

  Speaker 3: I started buying Rob Report magazines years ago. So I

  Speaker 3: just wanted to see what affluent people did, you know,

  Speaker 3: just wanted to see what people with means did, what

  Speaker 3: type of investments they did, what they bought, you know,

  Speaker 3: where they traveled. To the Rob Report, it's just like

  Speaker 3: a it's like a big boy toy magazine. You can

  Speaker 3: see what cars as I. I didn't have money for

  Speaker 3: none of it. Just I was dreaming though, you know,

  Speaker 3: I just wanted to see. And there was a statue

  Speaker 3: inside this magazine of this man who was coming out

  Speaker 3: of this bronze rock. And he was completely bronzed and

  Speaker 3: he was muscular, and you know, he didn't look nothing

  Speaker 3: like me, but he was a man coming up out

  Speaker 3: of a rock and he had a huge hammer and
• 1:25
  Speaker 3: a chisel in his hand, and as his body from

  Speaker 3: the waist up was coming out of this huge piece

  Speaker 3: of stone, you could see where it was him who
• 1:34
  Speaker 3: had been chiseling informing himself. So the name of the

  Speaker 3: statue was self made man. And for years man I said, Man,

  Speaker 3: I'm gonna get a big house one day, and I'm
• 1:44
  Speaker 3: gonna put that statue in the backyard in the corner.

  Speaker 3: That's gonna be my little spot where I go chill,
• 1:51
  Speaker 3: because I'm a self made man. Well, after years of
• 1:55
  Speaker 3: working at becoming somebody and having reached a degree of success,

  Speaker 3: I would have nothing to do with that statue. There's
• 2:09
  Speaker 3: nothing about that statue that appeals to me anymore. Because
• 2:13
  Speaker 3: on my journey and in my quest to become what
• 2:16
  Speaker 3: I thought would be this self made man, where I
• 2:20
  Speaker 3: could put this statue and had this statue in the
• 2:23
  Speaker 3: corner be kind of cold symbolizing it, I had made it.

  Speaker 3: I realized on my journey there's no such thing as
• 2:30
  Speaker 3: a self made man. That we all need help, and
• 2:34
  Speaker 3: that God places people in our paths along the way
• 2:39
  Speaker 3: that benefit us oftentimes, and it's the most unlikely person
• 2:44
  Speaker 3: often times, and this is the most unlikely way that
• 2:47
  Speaker 3: he presents these people in front of you.
• 2:49
  Speaker 2: It's crazy how he does it. Man.

  Speaker 3: And so this is a statue now that I look
• 2:54
  Speaker 3: at and I go, I see what the creator was saying.
• 2:57
  Speaker 3: And that's cool, but not for me, because I needed help.

  Speaker 3: And I've learned a lot of things like this along
• 3:06
  Speaker 3: the way. And the part I wanted to share with

  Speaker 3: you all about this is you've got to develop. You've
• 3:14
  Speaker 3: got to develop a sense of purpose. You have to
• 3:18
  Speaker 3: develop a sense of purpose. That's different. See, your purpose
• 3:25
  Speaker 3: is created for you by God because when he created
• 3:31
  Speaker 3: you as an individual from whatever two parents you may have,
• 3:34
  Speaker 3: that's not important here. When he created you, he had
• 3:39
  Speaker 3: something in mind for you, and it was a purpose.

  Speaker 3: God has not created a single soul to become a criminal.

  Speaker 3: God has never created a single soul to be a
• 3:50
  Speaker 3: drug dealer. This came about through some decisions we made
• 3:56
  Speaker 3: as sinners, and we stayed in that place. But see
• 4:01
  Speaker 3: what He created us. He has a wonderful idea for us.

  Speaker 3: But God gives us human beings this thing called choice,
• 4:08
  Speaker 3: and we have the power to decide. So you can
• 4:11
  Speaker 3: decide if you're going to adhere to the purpose that
• 4:14
  Speaker 3: God created you and made you for or you can
• 4:17
  Speaker 3: go ahead and make some choices on your own. So like,
• 4:21
  Speaker 3: if God wanted to give you a life and give
• 4:23
  Speaker 3: it to come to you and give you life more abundantly,
• 4:26
  Speaker 3: and that's his promise. If you come to him, if
• 4:28
  Speaker 3: you choose him, then cool. But if you say, well
• 4:32
  Speaker 3: this ain't moving along fast enough, I'm gonna get my
• 4:35
  Speaker 3: own life of abundance, I'm gonna start slinging. Well, guess
• 4:38
  Speaker 3: what now, Tada, You made a decision and seek God's
• 4:44
  Speaker 3: decisions and choices. The one thing I learned about them,
• 4:47
  Speaker 3: God's decisions, choices, his voice, it has no sin in it.

  Speaker 3: And it amazing how many people it came up to
• 4:53
  Speaker 3: you and said, the Lord wanted me to do this
• 4:55
  Speaker 3: to you, and I'm doing it. That God is punishing you,
• 4:57
  Speaker 3: and I'm doing this to you because God see that

  Speaker 3: you get your day. Who is this person? Who is
• 5:04
  Speaker 3: this person that God all of a sudden gave this
• 5:07
  Speaker 3: authority and power to God? I didn't get at the nobody, man, nobody,
• 5:12
  Speaker 3: this person only have the right to hold you to
• 5:14
  Speaker 3: your past, the right to make you pay. So who
• 5:18
  Speaker 3: makes them pay when they make mistakes? Because they all
• 5:21
  Speaker 3: make them. So when I say you have to have
• 5:24
  Speaker 3: a sense of you have to develop a strong sense
• 5:27
  Speaker 3: of purpose. That means you have to strongly get in

  Speaker 3: touch with your creator to find out what the purpose

  Speaker 3: you were created for. See, it's two things that I
• 5:36
  Speaker 3: had to learn along the way. My career was what
• 5:39
  Speaker 3: I was paid for. My calling is what I was

  Speaker 3: made for. See, it's two different things, folks. It took

  Speaker 3: me a long time to learn it. Some people think
• 5:52
  Speaker 3: that they calling is to be a performer. Well, that's
• 5:55
  Speaker 3: what you paid for, and a big part of your
• 5:58
  Speaker 3: life is your performances, how directly to your gift. But

  Speaker 3: what you made for, though, what you made for is

  Speaker 3: to bring about some significant change in another human beings

  Speaker 3: lives because we are all linked together in this chain.

  Speaker 2: That's what you are here for.

  Speaker 3: Everybody has a purpose to do something wonderful, meaningful, or

  Speaker 3: impactful for another person. You think the God that invented

  Speaker 3: the airplane was merely inventing the airplane so he could fly. Now,

  Speaker 3: his purpose was to become an inventor, to come up
• 6:34
  Speaker 3: with this invention.

  Speaker 2: So he could fly and we all fly. See. Sometimes

  Speaker 2: God will make you successful so.

  Speaker 3: You can become successful, so you can turn around to

  Speaker 3: teach other people how to become successful. God save people,

  Speaker 3: so you can turn around it tell other people how

  Speaker 3: wonderful it is to be saved. You see how this

  Speaker 3: thing work. That's what we have to do as people.

  Speaker 3: And it's nothing that we have to go and discover.
