John 14:2 In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. Our Father has planned ahead! There are many places to abide, dwell, or live in our Father’s household. In this verse, we learn where Jesus was going to which His disciples were not ready to go. Back in John 13:1 and 3, John’s readers were told where Jesus was going, but it wasn’t something that was told them at that point.
