- 0:01Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome to Vinnie and Me. My website's Jasonnewland
- 0:18Speaker 1: dot com. Please only listen when you can safely goes
- 0:23Speaker 1: your eyes. This is Friday. Whispers Whisper Friday, Whisper Wednesday,
- 0:40Speaker 1: whisper Friday. Yeah, oh thin, he's making these little squeaky sounds. Hallo, Daddy,
- 0:47Speaker 1: Hey Daily. I woke up just now and Vinnie wasn't
- 0:53Speaker 1: in the bed. He was in the living room, sitting
- 0:57Speaker 1: on well the fastest sleep on this seat. I don't
- 1:03Speaker 1: know if I'm maybe I woke him up as I
- 1:07Speaker 1: was speaking too much noise, snoring, I don't know. It's
- 1:16Speaker 1: just about half five in the border. I went to
- 1:23Speaker 1: bed about nine, and yeah, I'm okay. I had a
- 1:44Speaker 1: few very strange dreams, very strange dreams. I was. I
- 2:01Speaker 1: think I was a holiday camp. But it was just weird.
- 2:14Speaker 1: So I said, this place again in me Modeldoc with
- 2:19Speaker 1: dreams I've had before. But there was a place that
- 2:26Speaker 1: I was going to regularly. But for some reason, there
- 2:33Speaker 1: was bears there, big black bears, which we generally don't
- 2:40Speaker 1: have in this country, roaming around. Yeah, very weird. And
- 2:54Speaker 1: I knew some of the bigople who seemed to know
- 2:57Speaker 1: quite a lot of people at this holiday camp, and
- 3:09Speaker 1: I was learning. I was quite pleased with myself because
- 3:12Speaker 1: I was learning some social skills, learning from my mistakes,
- 3:21Speaker 1: previous mistakes. There was one point where I was cleaning
- 3:31Speaker 1: the floor for some reason, and I realized maybe it
- 3:43Speaker 1: was the carpet or whatever, but I was enjoying cleaning
- 3:47Speaker 1: the floor, which is kind of choke because I quite
- 3:52Speaker 1: enjoyed using those scrubbing machines to make the floor nice
- 3:58Speaker 1: and sexy buffers. They call them buffers. But then the
- 4:08Speaker 1: floor turned in to grass, which was weird. And there
- 4:18Speaker 1: was another part where I'm gonna lie in, but I
- 4:22Speaker 1: need to get ready to back up and catch the plane.
- 4:29Speaker 1: For some reason, there was a plane to this place,
- 4:36Speaker 1: and I realized that my bed is in the reception
- 4:39Speaker 1: and all these new people coming in for the holiday
- 4:48Speaker 1: well performing a bigger line past in my bed. So
- 4:57Speaker 1: I get out of bed and started to pack my stuff. Uh,
- 5:04Speaker 1: and this this kind of happened. Near the end of
- 5:07Speaker 1: the dream. There was a a man, I guess a
- 5:15Speaker 1: manager or something, and it was moaning because my stuff
- 5:19Speaker 1: was there and I'd left my stuff last time. So
- 5:28Speaker 1: I was a regular visitor but I was leaving bits
- 5:33Speaker 1: and bobs like books and DVDs, hypnosis courses, things like
- 5:42Speaker 1: that for some reason. And I said, don't worry, I'll
- 5:49Speaker 1: clear it up. So I packed my back of my
- 5:54Speaker 1: normal stuff and I started to collect the stuff, and
- 6:05Speaker 1: I was gonna just put it in the bin. So
- 6:07Speaker 1: that's what I did. I collected it all, walked to
- 6:11Speaker 1: the public bin, dropped it in the bin, and then
- 6:15Speaker 1: the manager came out and said, what are you doing?
- 6:18Speaker 1: That's the cutlery in the blades while you're tracking down
- 6:22Speaker 1: plates away And I'm more confused. I said, well, wo
- 6:31Speaker 1: you wanted me to get rid of it. Yeah, I'm
- 6:42Speaker 1: trying to think of what else happened. Yeah, that's that's it.
- 6:53Speaker 1: A couple of big black bears. One was in the
- 6:57Speaker 1: ocean and it was well, I was. I was near
- 7:02Speaker 1: a beach and I was watching it and it was
- 7:05Speaker 1: way out, and I said, if of the tights really like,
- 7:14Speaker 1: I don't know, some kind of weird thing going on
- 7:17Speaker 1: where the the war was really really really shallow, or
- 7:24Speaker 1: that bears wearing stilts. So I didn't really know how
- 7:30Speaker 1: to figure that one out. I couldn't ask it. It
- 7:34Speaker 1: was too far away. Too far away and see I
- 7:49Speaker 1: visited this stream before. There's been other times when I've
- 7:53Speaker 1: gone and it's been some kind of dormitory situation, sharing
- 8:06Speaker 1: a big, massive room with other people, which is why
- 8:12Speaker 1: I used to do when I was a kid. I
- 8:15Speaker 1: have done since as well. I when I've been on
- 8:19Speaker 1: Buddhist retreats, shared a room. Never liked it, never ever, ever,
- 8:27Speaker 1: ever ever, Although it's one thing people complain about snoring,
- 8:41Speaker 1: so I used to ask to be in the snoring dorm,
- 8:51Speaker 1: the snoring dorm where everyone snored, and also everybody complained
- 9:03Speaker 1: about snoring. Kind of ironic is people that complain about
- 9:10Speaker 1: snoring are the ones that snare themselves. Always learning and
- 9:23Speaker 1: always learning. Friday the first to focus, two thousand and
- 9:38Speaker 1: twenty five. Yeah, today's the beginning of the month is
- 9:54Speaker 1: where I have bills, bills upon bills. So I had
- 10:02Speaker 1: a few things taken out of my bank, a few
- 10:06Speaker 1: more to come. I got the electric and gasper went
- 10:12Speaker 1: out to day or early hours in the morning. TV
- 10:18Speaker 1: license went out, and then I've got the water bill,
- 10:28Speaker 1: which will probably be in the next day or two.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Then I got the mobile phone and internet bill fifty
- 10:40Speaker 1: seven pound I think or fifty nine pound, so that'll
- 10:44Speaker 1: come out in the next few days as well. Then
- 10:50Speaker 1: I've got the website bill, which is fifty fifty sixty
- 11:05Speaker 1: gred something like that. A few bits and bobs. I've
- 11:19Speaker 1: visited Uncle Sausages yesterday and it's really weird because he's
- 11:27Speaker 1: not He's really not well, so I'm not going to
- 11:29Speaker 1: focus on that. But where he's staying is a nursing name,
- 11:34Speaker 1: and it's a lovely the crowns themselves, I mean, it's
- 11:42Speaker 1: peacocks there. I've actually took a little video and and
- 11:45Speaker 1: took a picture. In fact, I might try and use
- 11:51Speaker 1: that picture as the cover for this recording. The big
- 12:01Speaker 1: was nearly as big as me, absolutely huge. I thought
- 12:08Speaker 1: it was going to be all kind of shaky, and
- 12:14Speaker 1: you know, I didn't want to go outside in case
- 12:17Speaker 1: it flew away. I don't know if peacocks can fly,
- 12:26Speaker 1: but this they didn't. They just sat there. Now, bearing
- 12:33Speaker 1: in mind how huge it is, I don't think peacocks
- 12:40Speaker 1: can fly, can they They're too big. Lot of ostriches
- 12:46Speaker 1: they're just too big. I think if a bird gets
- 12:51Speaker 1: past a certain size, it's a hard rip to fly.
- 12:57Speaker 1: I mean, I know some birds are big hm which
- 13:01Speaker 1: do fly? I mean eagles, swans they fly and they
- 13:12Speaker 1: are huge vultures they fly. Does swans fly, I think
- 13:27Speaker 1: they do. Tarot tarra, ductyles, taro, dectyles, taridctiles. They used
- 13:41Speaker 1: to fly, don't they? Swans? Do swan's fly? I think so.
- 14:03Speaker 1: But this pheasant, he said, A pheasant? N a pheasant?
- 14:16Speaker 1: What do they call it? You know? And someone's being
- 14:18Speaker 1: pride for pecock? Guess it? Beautiful, beautiful bird? And yeah,
- 14:29Speaker 1: I took some pictures of the bird and took a
- 14:31Speaker 1: little video of it. And it was just outside uncle's
- 14:36Speaker 1: sausages door he's got, I mean, you could get in
- 14:40Speaker 1: the door he walked through the place to get into
- 14:45Speaker 1: his room. But he's got a door that goes outside
- 14:49Speaker 1: as well. Unfortunately, he got today care home and nursing
- 14:58Speaker 1: home too late to be able to appreciate appreciate it's
- 15:08Speaker 1: probably not the correct word, but too he didn't get
- 15:14Speaker 1: to see how nice it is because it's pretty much
- 15:22Speaker 1: unconscious most of the time all the time, really, so
- 15:31Speaker 1: that was weird. So I'm in this really nice little room.
- 15:36Speaker 1: The staff for really nice. I mean it's a little
- 15:41Speaker 1: bit out of the way, this place as is where
- 15:48Speaker 1: I live, but this is even more out of the way,
- 15:53Speaker 1: a really nice area. It's about an hour walk from
- 15:59Speaker 1: where I live. Still the same postcode, funny enough, well
- 16:05Speaker 1: the same you know, not exactly the same, but the
- 16:08Speaker 1: same sort of area postcode. And it's really nice little area.
- 16:26Speaker 1: In fact, it's kind of somewhere that I could live.
- 16:35Speaker 1: You know. It's just nicer than air loads of places
- 16:44Speaker 1: to walk your dog. It's a whole They've got this
- 16:53Speaker 1: park or this forest, which is called a nine hundred
- 16:58Speaker 1: and ninety nine years at least sorry for the last
- 17:06Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty years they've cause it used to
- 17:10Speaker 1: be a mess now apparently I was reading this black
- 17:16Speaker 1: and they turned it into this really beautiful place. Yeah.
- 17:31Speaker 1: I mean, it's nothing to stop me from taking litill
- 17:35Speaker 1: not be up there. The thing is, bart I get there,
- 17:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna be naked because it's an hour walk. I'm
- 17:42Speaker 1: not gonna be wanting to walk through the fields. Am
- 17:44Speaker 1: I through a little forest? Yeah, it's nice. And then
- 18:00Speaker 1: on the way back, I got a lift. It's like, wow,
- 18:10Speaker 1: I got a lift back. Not right all the way home,
- 18:13Speaker 1: but one of the nurses, oh care workers, just gave
- 18:18Speaker 1: me a lift near where I will live. It was, Yeah,
- 18:31Speaker 1: it's very strange, very strange being there. See, that's the
- 18:46Speaker 1: kind of work that I would have liked to have
- 18:50Speaker 1: been able to do. But at the same time, it's
- 19:00Speaker 1: kind of work that I don't think i'd be able
- 19:06Speaker 1: to do for emotionally. So it's a certain skill set
- 19:21Speaker 1: you know that you need to be for to do
- 19:25Speaker 1: that kind of work. I'm saying it's like, I know
- 19:28Speaker 1: what I'm talking about, but I think it's kind of obvious.
- 19:34Speaker 1: You need to be caring, like really caring. Mm hmm.
- 19:44Speaker 1: You know, you need to want to do the job
- 19:49Speaker 1: as a kind of a vocation, as a life ambition,
- 20:02Speaker 1: or I don't know, a calling maybe, so I could
- 20:13Speaker 1: probably tap into that side of things, although it's never
- 20:21Speaker 1: been my life's ambition to be with people at end
- 20:25Speaker 1: of life, so that's otherwise I probably would have attempted
- 20:28Speaker 1: to do it, So that's never been my life's ambition
- 20:33Speaker 1: by calling, but I would I would argue that I
- 20:39Speaker 1: do care. I'm a caring person. I okay, here we
- 20:45Speaker 1: come on. There's a hero if you look inside my pants.
- 20:56Speaker 1: But the other side, and I'm really minimize in it
- 21:01Speaker 1: because I don't know enough about the job. But from
- 21:06Speaker 1: what I can see, there is the other side, which
- 21:08Speaker 1: is being able to emotionally deal with that situation and
- 21:18Speaker 1: continually deal with it. And I don't. I don't have it.
- 21:30Speaker 1: I don't have what it takes for that. I don't
- 21:33Speaker 1: believe I have. So maybe I'll just continue making recordings.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Maybe maybe that's where my my thing. Maybe that's what
- 22:01Speaker 1: I'm supposed to be doing. Maybe this is what I'm
- 22:05Speaker 1: supposed to be doing. This and so many other things.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Maybe you never know. I I did like the idea
- 22:27Speaker 1: of being a nurse when I was younger, being like
- 22:36Speaker 1: muffet Terreser, devoting my life to helping people. I mean,
- 22:53Speaker 1: in my own way, I have done that. It's just
- 23:00Speaker 1: a little less dramatic, a little less noticeable, perhaps a
- 23:12Speaker 1: little less helpful. I loved the idea of feeding hungry people,
- 23:22Speaker 1: and I've done that. I did that in Thailand, and
- 23:27Speaker 1: it was brilliant. I I was the one buying the food.
- 23:36Speaker 1: I got ripped off by the people cooking the food.
- 23:42Speaker 1: And once the food was gone and the money was gone,
- 23:51Speaker 1: that was It was not very sustainable by a great experience.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Maybe in some kind of small way what I do this,
- 24:24Speaker 1: you know, making recordings is my way of helping others,
- 24:39Speaker 1: and that's why I'm doing it, That's why I've devoted
- 24:49Speaker 1: nineteen years of my life to this. Is just sometimes
- 25:02Speaker 1: I think, especially when I do these type of recordings,
- 25:07Speaker 1: like you know, non therapeutic, non hypnotic recordings, it feels
- 25:19Speaker 1: a little bit like I'm just being self indulgent, just
- 25:25Speaker 1: talking about myself, and I wonder how that could be
- 25:33Speaker 1: of any use to anyone. But this is also you know,
- 25:44Speaker 1: let me boy to sleep or whisper, and I don't
- 25:50Speaker 1: do many of these. I was trying to do on
- 25:54Speaker 1: a weekly one on a Wednesday. But over the last
- 26:02Speaker 1: few weeks the little routine I had has gone the
- 26:11Speaker 1: pot it's gone, it's crumbled, it's shrunk. So I haven't
- 26:20Speaker 1: had not really been very regular recently. I tried to
- 26:30Speaker 1: keep it going, but it's been sporadic over the last
- 26:40Speaker 1: six weeks, not very regular, although I did keep the
- 26:45Speaker 1: Q and A Fridays bumping out until last Friday and
- 26:54Speaker 1: this Friday, so I have not asked for any questions
- 26:58Speaker 1: the last two weeks. All being well, I will continue
- 27:18Speaker 1: with the QNA Friday's next Friday all being well, and
- 27:29Speaker 1: the other regular let me boy to sleep days such
- 27:38Speaker 1: as Monday's boring Objects Trivia Tuesday. I suppose that QNA
- 27:48Speaker 1: Friday and Whisper Wednesday, they will all be back hopefully.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Now I don't know, because as far as the Whisper,
- 28:04Speaker 1: where this day goes, this new thing, this new routine
- 28:21Speaker 1: that for some reason I started, Where I get out
- 28:28Speaker 1: of bed, I take my acid reflux DOUBLET and then
- 28:38Speaker 1: I make a recording and a whisper vlog where I
- 28:43Speaker 1: just update on what's going on, what happened yesterday, what
- 28:50Speaker 1: did I dream about? And then I talk for maybe
- 29:01Speaker 1: twenty minutes half an hour, and that's it. Then I
- 29:11Speaker 1: have my breakfast. So I've been doing this for I
- 29:21Speaker 1: think three days in a row, and I might continue.
- 29:43Speaker 1: I always feel different when I just wake up compared
- 29:52Speaker 1: to how I feel a few hours in or midday
- 29:58Speaker 1: or evening. First of all, I'm awake, probably providing I've
- 30:09Speaker 1: had enough sleep. This is the most awake I am.
- 30:25Speaker 1: It's also pretty quiet. I can hear the pigeons, but
- 30:35Speaker 1: other than that, I heard someone going out of the
- 30:39Speaker 1: front door earlier. John, I think, yes, quite early, So
- 30:52Speaker 1: it's probably Yeah, someone downstairs set the council of taken
- 31:06Speaker 1: back Uncle's Sausages Council flat. They're not officially taken it back.
- 31:14Speaker 1: They're given a month to get the place sorted before
- 31:17Speaker 1: they move in or before they take over. But they
- 31:24Speaker 1: had to be done because you can't you can't have
- 31:28Speaker 1: to rent paid on the council flat. And they have
- 31:36Speaker 1: the cost of a nursing home paid because that has
- 31:40Speaker 1: to be financed as well. So I think if you
- 31:45Speaker 1: move into if someone moves into a nursing home, they
- 31:50Speaker 1: have to give notice for the council property. It's a
- 31:57Speaker 1: month's notice or something like that. There's not much in
- 32:13Speaker 1: the way of boxing going on this month. In fact,
- 32:19Speaker 1: there's only one I think it's the sixteenth of August,
- 32:27Speaker 1: and that's Tillion White against Moses a tumor. That's it.
- 32:38Speaker 1: I mean, it's a couple of others, but no big,
- 32:42Speaker 1: big occasions. There's a big one in September, which Crawford
- 33:03Speaker 1: against Canelo. That's in I think September twelfth. I think
- 33:19Speaker 1: other than that there yeah, Chris oh u Bank Junior
- 33:31Speaker 1: and Connor Ben I think they're fighting again in September
- 33:40Speaker 1: and in November or maybe October, there's some boxing. There's
- 33:54Speaker 1: a good night. It's David Benevidez. He's defending his lie
- 34:09Speaker 1: heavyweight title against Callum Smith. Was it. David Benevitez is
- 34:30Speaker 1: one of my favorite boxes. They call him the Mexican Monster.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Now my own it was not a criticism of him,
- 34:43Speaker 1: but he doesn't fight enough. But he's been hanging around
- 34:50Speaker 1: waiting to get his hands on what's his name, can
- 35:01Speaker 1: but Canello didn't want him, he didn't want to fight him,
- 35:07Speaker 1: and David Bennelly there's He held the world title two
- 35:15Speaker 1: times at Super mid Away and it was also the
- 35:20Speaker 1: interim world champion at Super mid Away as well. And
- 35:28Speaker 1: he waited, then he waited, then he waited, then he waited,
- 35:35Speaker 1: and Canello wouldn't fight him. He ended up fighting other
- 35:40Speaker 1: people that were also waiting, and it got to the
- 35:46Speaker 1: point where it was almost just for those who wanted
- 35:51Speaker 1: to be world champions. There's no point sticking around the
- 35:56Speaker 1: Super mid aweight division because Canello has it got tied up.
- 36:04Speaker 1: And also if he decides to go up or wait
- 36:10Speaker 1: or the belts still stay around because he's a superstar boxer.
- 36:19Speaker 1: The different organizations banded to him, they let him do
- 36:30Speaker 1: what ever he once, So if he doesn't defend his
- 36:34Speaker 1: title for every year or a year and a half,
- 36:38Speaker 1: they just allow it because he's where the money is.
- 36:53Speaker 1: I am looking forward to that fight with Crawford because
- 36:58Speaker 1: Crawford is a special fighter. Yeah, being be an interest
- 37:13Speaker 1: in fighter, I'd be interested to find out what mm hmmm,
- 37:30Speaker 1: Fabia Wardley is gonna do next. David not David Price,
- 37:49Speaker 1: wow of philosophic one. His name David David, David David, David,
- 37:56Speaker 1: David David. His surname's gone out of my head. He
- 38:10Speaker 1: beat Bosh twice the Rumford ball. David David, David David.
- 38:23Speaker 1: It's not David a, it's not David Price, David something. Anyway,
- 38:37Speaker 1: he's gonna be fighting and men you mention mor Off
- 38:41Speaker 1: So I can't remember the hat. I can't remember David.
- 38:45Speaker 1: And so that's I think in October. So there's a
- 38:53Speaker 1: few occasions, but the biggest one really recently was the
- 39:01Speaker 1: last weekend or the weekend before, which was Dan new
- 39:08Speaker 1: to Bar against Basic and it was a bit of
- 39:21Speaker 1: an anti climax, just how easily you sick one like
- 39:29Speaker 1: easily one wasn't. Yeah, that's it. Really, I'm gonna have
- 39:52Speaker 1: my breakfast because I deserve it. I deserved to have
- 39:59Speaker 1: my t me rewarded. I don't know what I'm going
- 40:06Speaker 1: to do today because I did my laundry last night.
- 40:11Speaker 1: I didn't realize that i'd run out of tracksuit bombs,
- 40:19Speaker 1: so I did them last night, and I don't think
- 40:22Speaker 1: they're dry enough to wear, and I can't go out
- 40:27Speaker 1: with these. I have to go. If I'm going to
- 40:31Speaker 1: go to a place like that, I need to be
- 40:33Speaker 1: clean and I need to be wearing clean clothes. It's
- 40:39Speaker 1: just yeah, if I don't go today, maybe i'll go tomorrow. Yeah.
- 41:00Speaker 1: H m h m hmm. That's quite peaceful. Well that
- 41:12Speaker 1: my stomach. My stomach is now let me know, feed
- 41:17Speaker 1: be So I'm gonna go. Thank you for listening. Remember
- 41:23Speaker 1: to be kind to yourself because you do deserve to
- 41:27Speaker 1: be happy. Be gentle with yourself. You deserve to feel safe.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Lots of love, Bye,
