- 0:09Speaker 1: Destroyed. Wait, I'm a chestnut both things.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Hey, everybody, welcome to Conspiracy The Show. I'm Adam Todd Brown.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Who are you?
- 0:36Speaker 1: I'm physitisn We are.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Your goddamn hosts today. Yes, this is this is a
- 0:42Speaker 2: This is gonna be the start of something magical. Not
- 0:47Speaker 2: magical is a weird way to put it.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I think positive and and.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Fruitful, fruitful for sure. We're gonna get a lot of
- 0:56Speaker 2: podcast episodes out of this. I think we might even
- 0:59Speaker 2: do an entire like side podcast just about one aspect
- 1:05Speaker 2: of this. We might do that on Pretty Scary, which
- 1:09Speaker 2: is basically the companion podcast to Conspiracy the Show.
- 1:14Speaker 1: So today's episode is basically a Pandora's box.
- 1:17Speaker 2: It is. This is a Pangaea unpopular opinion shows. We
- 1:23Speaker 2: are talking about the amalgamation. Yes, it's a portmanteau, a
- 1:29Speaker 2: pod manteau. It's a it's a I should get lazy
- 1:34Speaker 2: and just release it as.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Oh my god, Yeah, this one's meaty.
- 1:40Speaker 2: This is There is so much to this. We're talking
- 1:43Speaker 2: about a group called the Finders. Yeah, fell down a
- 1:47Speaker 2: real rabbit hole yesterday researching this. This was my day.
- 1:51Speaker 2: And as you'll you'll learn listening to this podcast makes
- 1:56Speaker 2: for a very dark day. Yeah, it was not. It
- 1:59Speaker 2: was not an upbeat experience. If this sounds familiar, it's
- 2:04Speaker 2: because we actually on episode fifty five of this podcast
- 2:09Speaker 2: back when we were just learning to crawl. Yeah, just babies.
- 2:13Speaker 1: What episode are we now.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Like ninety six, not that long ago. Like halfway into
- 2:19Speaker 2: this we did an episode about the claim that Julian
- 2:25Speaker 2: Assange was born into and raised in this weird like
- 2:30Speaker 2: mind controlled sex cult called the Family, And it was
- 2:35Speaker 2: on a general episode about CIA related cults, and we
- 2:41Speaker 2: talked very briefly about this nineteen eighty seven incident that
- 2:44Speaker 2: happened in Tallahassee, Florida, involving this group called the Finders,
- 2:49Speaker 2: and we just sort of scratched the surface and I
- 2:53Speaker 2: sort of put it out of my head. And then
- 2:55Speaker 2: the other day, the day before yesterday, I was researching
- 2:59Speaker 2: a comple deletely different thing, which we'll probably cover later,
- 3:03Speaker 2: and I find this link to this recent FBI document release. Yeah,
- 3:10Speaker 2: from my favorite website, vault dot FBI dot gov. Fucking
- 3:14Speaker 2: cannot recommend it enough. The most requested document on vault
- 3:19Speaker 2: dot FBI dot gov in the month of October and
- 3:22Speaker 2: released in October, released in late October, okay.
- 3:26Speaker 1: And requested and then released.
- 3:29Speaker 2: That's the thing. No one is quite sure why this
- 3:35Speaker 2: is getting released right now.
- 3:37Speaker 1: And these documents were created in nineteen ninety three, yes,
- 3:42Speaker 1: and much of.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Nineteen ninety three and nineteen eighty seven.
- 3:46Speaker 1: That's I remember the news, the news in Tallahassee, so
- 3:51Speaker 1: it was there was press involvement initially in eighty seven,
- 3:55Speaker 1: but were documents from eighty seven as well.
- 3:57Speaker 2: In that FBI release documents, a lot of it is
- 4:02Speaker 2: the initial police reports and investigations from nineteen eighty seven,
- 4:08Speaker 2: and then that runs its course, which we'll get to,
- 4:13Speaker 2: and then in nineteen ninety three there's another investigation.
- 4:17Speaker 1: And the names have been redacted.
- 4:19Speaker 2: The names in the FBI files have been redacted, but
- 4:23Speaker 2: some of the things they put in there, like some
- 4:26Speaker 2: of the police reports. There's a Metro, a Washington metroped
- 4:31Speaker 2: police report that has since been released related to this incident,
- 4:35Speaker 2: and I think that is less redacted because there's different
- 4:39Speaker 2: like YouTube videos and shit Surprise that you can watch
- 4:43Speaker 2: about this, and a lot of them have screenshots of
- 4:46Speaker 2: these police reports and they're not redacted. Okay, it's fascinating
- 4:51Speaker 2: to me. Yeah, so much information is out there about
- 4:55Speaker 2: this now, and it feels like it we were talking
- 4:59Speaker 2: about mka ultra before this, Yeah, and every bit of
- 5:04Speaker 2: this has sort of an mk ultra feel to it
- 5:08Speaker 2: because it's it's a lot of stuff about mind control
- 5:12Speaker 2: and uh, sex cults and programming people uh to do
- 5:19Speaker 2: your bidding.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think with with one way to program
- 5:24Speaker 1: is creating trauma, right, Yes, and often you know, I've
- 5:28Speaker 1: heard that it's sex trauma at a young age. Childhood
- 5:31Speaker 1: sex trauma is very impactful of of course.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's when you get into the I guess
- 5:38Speaker 2: fringe conspiracy theories about the CIA. I don't know how
- 5:42Speaker 2: fringe those theories are anymore, but that's that's a lot
- 5:46Speaker 2: of what you you read and hear about, Like, that's
- 5:49Speaker 2: a lot of what like people still don't want to
- 5:52Speaker 2: wrap their heads around it, but that's a lot of
- 5:54Speaker 2: what mk ultra was. Like when you dig into it,
- 5:58Speaker 2: it's not just that they were giving people LSD, Like
- 6:02Speaker 2: there were prostitutes involved, and those prostitutes weren't.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Like involved as subjects, Yeah, being given LSD unbeknownst to
- 6:12Speaker 1: them the.
- 6:13Speaker 2: CIA, and we like we know this this isn't speculation.
- 6:16Speaker 2: The CIA ran a brothel in San Francisco in the
- 6:21Speaker 2: nineteen sixties. How do you think those women ended up
- 6:25Speaker 2: working there? Like, it's not like they replied to a
- 6:27Speaker 2: Craigslist ad, Like.
- 6:30Speaker 1: They were selected and groomed and.
- 6:31Speaker 2: It's not yeah, because it's not like the CIA can
- 6:34Speaker 2: just pluck women off the streets and be like, all right, now,
- 6:37Speaker 2: fuck this rich guy for money, and we might blackmail
- 6:40Speaker 2: him over it in the future if we need to, Like,
- 6:43Speaker 2: you can't just do that, Like you need someone who's
- 6:46Speaker 2: a little compliant, Like.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I wonder what purpose had served it was it just
- 6:50Speaker 1: sort of store these women or have access to them?
- 6:54Speaker 2: Well, what was what were they?
- 6:56Speaker 1: What was the goal of this brothel?
- 7:00Speaker 2: The brothel in San Francisco, And there were probably others,
- 7:03Speaker 2: but it was at a time when they were doing
- 7:07Speaker 2: a lot of drugging people and observing what would happen? Yeah,
- 7:13Speaker 2: And what's crazy about that.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Is oh, yeah, and you have all kinds of people
- 7:16Speaker 1: coming in as well in a brothel, right, yeah, and
- 7:19Speaker 1: you can have I mean, if you're employing these women,
- 7:22Speaker 1: who knows you knows who's the subject and.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Who's in on what right and what's really alarming about
- 7:31Speaker 2: that is it's one thing for the CIA to have
- 7:35Speaker 2: run something like this, and I mean CIA people associated
- 7:39Speaker 2: with the CIA. You have to look into MK Ultra
- 7:42Speaker 2: and get all the name Sidney Gottlieb, I think is
- 7:46Speaker 2: a name that comes up pretty regularly. But all these
- 7:49Speaker 2: people that had ties to US intelligence. There's this brothel
- 7:53Speaker 2: and the suggestion is, oh, well, we were just getting
- 7:57Speaker 2: people high and sending women out to see what would happen.
- 8:01Speaker 2: But it's like, is that really all that was happening?
- 8:03Speaker 2: Like you're US Intelligence? And one of the rumors or
- 8:09Speaker 2: suggestions that has come out about the Jeffrey Epstein thing
- 8:13Speaker 2: is that what he was doing was, yes, throwing these
- 8:17Speaker 2: sex parties. But one of the like, no one's really
- 8:21Speaker 2: sure how he made his money. Yeah, And one of
- 8:24Speaker 2: the suggestions is he would bring people to these sex
- 8:27Speaker 2: parties and there would be drugs and alcohol involved, and
- 8:32Speaker 2: as someone got more and more fucked up and more
- 8:34Speaker 2: comfortable throughout the night, they'd start sending younger and younger
- 8:39Speaker 2: women in and they'd videotape at all and then the
- 8:42Speaker 2: next morning that guy would wake up and Jeffrey Epstein
- 8:44Speaker 2: would be like, oh, guess what blackmail? You are investing
- 8:49Speaker 2: all your money with me now or this tape comes out.
- 8:52Speaker 1: So he's in the business of blackmail. But how many
- 8:55Speaker 1: times can he get away with that? I guess his buddy,
- 8:58Speaker 1: of his rich buddy's gonna is like, yeah, I'm gonna
- 9:00Speaker 1: get on that, you know, Jeffrey Epstein whatever they call
- 9:03Speaker 1: Alita Plane whatever, He's gonna be like, hey, just FYI,
- 9:08Speaker 1: you might not want to do that.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that's but I mean that's always the question.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Like I mean, I'm sure you know, like I think
- 9:15Speaker 1: maybe he could have done that, but I don't think.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I think he probably had multiple sources of income, maybe
- 9:20Speaker 1: all CD I don't know.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the thing that like they know of one
- 9:25Speaker 2: person that invested money with Jeffrey Epstein, Yeah, like he
- 9:29Speaker 2: had one official client, and beyond that, it's really like
- 9:33Speaker 2: there are.
- 9:34Speaker 1: And how much of his wealth comes from that one client?
- 9:36Speaker 1: Do they know that amount?
- 9:39Speaker 2: I don't think that one client has enough wealth for
- 9:43Speaker 2: Jeffrey epstcene to own a private island off of what
- 9:46Speaker 2: he would make investing that dude's money. Are there was
- 9:51Speaker 2: a really I mean we're kind of getting off course,
- 9:53Speaker 2: but not really because this is sort of the same thing.
- 9:55Speaker 2: But there was a really interesting article that came out
- 9:59Speaker 2: not long after Jeffrey Epstein went back to prison again
- 10:03Speaker 2: where it was like money people like financial analyst Wall
- 10:08Speaker 2: Street types who are all interviewed and asked to like
- 10:12Speaker 2: just sort of speculate on how he would have made
- 10:15Speaker 2: his money. That's how unfamiliar his assets and finances are
- 10:20Speaker 2: to everyone. Like he's like Trump in that way, like
- 10:24Speaker 2: we still can't get Trump's tax returns, Like we don't
- 10:27Speaker 2: really know like how much money Trump has.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Why is it so difficult to get these documents?
- 10:33Speaker 2: Well, with Jeffrey Epstein, the question is to do the
- 10:36Speaker 2: documents even exist? So in that way, like at that
- 10:41Speaker 2: point that he was running a blackmail ring is as
- 10:45Speaker 2: possible as anything else as part of the business when
- 10:48Speaker 2: it comes to how he made money. And that's kind
- 10:53Speaker 2: of my thought when when I hear the CIA had
- 10:57Speaker 2: a brothel in San Francisco in the sixties during MK ultra,
- 11:01Speaker 2: It's like, is that all it was for was so
- 11:04Speaker 2: you could monitor people when they were on LSD, like
- 11:06Speaker 2: you spent. Mk ultra started in the fifties and by
- 11:09Speaker 2: that point we're like a decade in and you're still
- 11:12Speaker 2: just going, Oh, what's gonna do, Like you know what
- 11:15Speaker 2: it does by then? Yeah, so what's the point of it?
- 11:18Speaker 2: Ten years later? And it feels like probably part of
- 11:21Speaker 2: that because it's not like it's gonna say CIA brothel outside,
- 11:27Speaker 2: and it's not like someone's gonna come to you and
- 11:29Speaker 2: be like, dude, I know a great CIA place close
- 11:32Speaker 2: to here if you want to go do a bunch
- 11:34Speaker 2: of drugs, fuck a bunch of women. No, it's like
- 11:37Speaker 2: you're gonna be some influential person who's in town and
- 11:40Speaker 2: your rich friend comes to you and goes, want to
- 11:43Speaker 2: do some Illuminati shit, Let's go to the secret brothel
- 11:46Speaker 2: no one knows about.
- 11:46Speaker 1: So the clientele is aware of where they're going to.
- 11:49Speaker 2: An extent, Like if you go to a strip club
- 11:53Speaker 2: and it turns out that strip club is full of
- 11:56Speaker 2: government cameras that are going to use the footage on
- 11:59Speaker 2: there to blackmail you by showing it to your spouse.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Are you just going to a strip club or are
- 12:05Speaker 2: you going to a CIA black site. Yeah, like they
- 12:09Speaker 2: knew where they were going in that and this is
- 12:11Speaker 2: all like speculation, but no one's gonna be like, yeah,
- 12:15Speaker 2: I'll go to the CIA place, so I'll let the
- 12:17Speaker 2: government give me drugs and watch me have sex with women.
- 12:21Speaker 2: That sounds amazing. No, you got to be tricked into that.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Yeah, and like at that level of deception, this was
- 12:26Speaker 1: a way to have some control over influential people money maybe, right.
- 12:32Speaker 2: And when what I was getting at with all of
- 12:36Speaker 2: that is when mk Ultra was eventually shut down and
- 12:41Speaker 2: exposed one. It happened because of one incident, which is
- 12:45Speaker 2: the same thing with the Finders. There was one box
- 12:50Speaker 2: of documents that got stored in the wrong place and
- 12:52Speaker 2: didn't get shredded, and it came out during the Church
- 12:55Speaker 2: committee and the CIA had to be like, who you call?
- 13:00Speaker 2: We were doing all of that shit. Sorry, we've since
- 13:04Speaker 2: shut it down. And everyone was like, all right, sure
- 13:07Speaker 2: you did, but how.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Do we not like one box misplaced? It sounds like,
- 13:13Speaker 1: you know, it sounds like a good Samaritan.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Kind of in it. That very well could have been
- 13:18Speaker 2: what it was like just one you know, as depicted
- 13:21Speaker 2: in the HBO series Succession. I don't know if anyone
- 13:25Speaker 2: watches Succession, but there is a scene where someone's tasked
- 13:28Speaker 2: with shredding documents and he's like, oh, I keep a
- 13:31Speaker 2: couple of these just in case, and that you're right,
- 13:35Speaker 2: that could have been exactly what it was. Someone could
- 13:36Speaker 2: have been, like people might want to know about this later.
- 13:39Speaker 1: It's interesting because the box, if you know, is full
- 13:42Speaker 1: of juicy stuff, juicy information. So it's just you know,
- 13:47Speaker 1: it could have been a box that wasn't, you know,
- 13:49Speaker 1: And that's sure. There's boxes with just paperwork for the
- 13:53Speaker 1: sake of paperwork.
- 13:54Speaker 2: That's the thing. That box. Before that box was found,
- 13:57Speaker 2: the CIA was like, all right, we were doing it,
- 14:00Speaker 2: but it wasn't. It wasn't massive.
- 14:02Speaker 1: They're playing it down. But then they couldn't because it
- 14:04Speaker 1: was completely exposed.
- 14:05Speaker 2: And then that box of this these like twenty thousand
- 14:08Speaker 2: documents comes out and they're like, yeah, you're right, it
- 14:10Speaker 2: was massive because it turned out mk ultra happened at
- 14:14Speaker 2: I think it was one hundred and thirty different hospitals
- 14:17Speaker 2: and universities across the United States and Canada, so that's
- 14:22Speaker 2: basically everywhere, like it was happening to some extent to
- 14:27Speaker 2: people without their knowledge in a lot of cases all
- 14:31Speaker 2: over the fucking country. And after it came out, instead
- 14:35Speaker 2: of being like, maybe we need an alternative to the CIA,
- 14:39Speaker 2: because you have gotten a little out of control. We
- 14:42Speaker 2: were like, all right, well stop stop that and go
- 14:45Speaker 2: back to being nice. Well, okay, it's this is like
- 14:50Speaker 2: it's systemic ritual abuse of the American population.
- 14:56Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, it's kind of like Nazi shit. Yeah,
- 14:58Speaker 1: in terms of their recent search practices.
- 15:01Speaker 2: It's in that even in some of these Finders documentaries,
- 15:05Speaker 2: that exact thing comes up is that it seemed like
- 15:09Speaker 2: the goal of the Finders was to produce a race
- 15:13Speaker 2: of like perfect super people.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:17Speaker 2: And what's interesting is this all so when MK Ultra
- 15:22Speaker 2: gets shut down and all of that experimenting on people
- 15:27Speaker 2: who were unaware of it stops. What starts in the
- 15:30Speaker 2: eighties the Satanic panic and kids just getting fucking kidnapped
- 15:36Speaker 2: left and right, Like kids got kidnapped forever. But I
- 15:41Speaker 2: grew up in the eighties, so I very vividly remember
- 15:46Speaker 2: the eighties being the era of kids getting snatched off
- 15:50Speaker 2: the fucking street.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Yeah, because in most you know, people weren't concerned about
- 15:56Speaker 1: that until it started happening so frequently, Like you know,
- 15:59Speaker 1: people left their door unlocked at night. I used to
- 16:02Speaker 1: all the time.
- 16:03Speaker 2: I would have been six seven, maybe I used to
- 16:08Speaker 2: walk to this convenience store by my house, like by
- 16:12Speaker 2: my standards as a kid, it was by my house. Yeah,
- 16:15Speaker 2: I would drive there as an adult. That's how fucking
- 16:18Speaker 2: lazy I've become, because in all actuality, it was like
- 16:23Speaker 2: eight blocks.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Yeah, and I would walk.
- 16:25Speaker 2: That shit by myself as a kid, day and night.
- 16:28Speaker 2: My parents didn't give a fuck, No one cared.
- 16:31Speaker 1: That's when they started putting like faces missing faces on
- 16:34Speaker 1: the milk boxes, right, the milk cartons.
- 16:36Speaker 2: It was the Adam Walsh thing. Okay, that really kicked
- 16:40Speaker 2: that off. And I think, and you're right, that's when
- 16:43Speaker 2: faces on milk cartons started.
- 16:45Speaker 1: I wonder how much knowledge he has of this sort
- 16:48Speaker 1: of thing, because if so many kids disappeared and they
- 16:51Speaker 1: were being smuggled into these programs, you know, I mean,
- 16:55Speaker 1: he is personal for.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Him, and he would be he would be an interesting
- 17:00Speaker 2: person to ask about this because and we're talking about
- 17:04Speaker 2: John Walsh obviously Adam Walsh's dad, because he seems like
- 17:08Speaker 2: someone who'd be very like by the book in Law
- 17:11Speaker 2: and Order and wouldn't entertain a wild theory like this.
- 17:14Speaker 2: But that all flies out the window when your kid
- 17:17Speaker 2: goes missing and they only find his head, like because
- 17:20Speaker 2: that's what happened with Adam Walsh. They never found his body,
- 17:22Speaker 2: they just found his head.
- 17:23Speaker 1: How young was his son?
- 17:25Speaker 2: I need his eight, like seven or eight, and I
- 17:27Speaker 2: was like seven or eight at the time. My name
- 17:30Speaker 2: was Adam. Yeah, still is so that I remember that
- 17:35Speaker 2: shit vividly, and like from then on, like stories of
- 17:39Speaker 2: kids going missing, it was like ten thousand kids go
- 17:42Speaker 2: missing every fucking day, and it's like every day. Probably not,
- 17:46Speaker 2: but like that's what the statistics felt like back then.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I remember in the early nineties as well.
- 17:53Speaker 1: That's when I started retaining memories, you know, like it's Yeah,
- 17:59Speaker 1: it did seem like that was something to fear, like
- 18:01Speaker 1: someone getting you know, getting snatched up. Yeah, don't talk
- 18:04Speaker 1: to strangers, don't take candy from strangers. Was that a
- 18:07Speaker 1: moniker don't take candy from strangers in the seventies or
- 18:10Speaker 1: the sixties?
- 18:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think so, I don't think I feel
- 18:14Speaker 2: like stranger danger and all that wasn't as big of
- 18:17Speaker 2: a deal back then, Like I don't not, Like I
- 18:19Speaker 2: was born in seventy six, so like I remember the
- 18:22Speaker 2: mid to late eighties pretty well. But yeah, I just
- 18:27Speaker 2: remember I remember kidnappings, and I remember the Satanic panic. Yeah,
- 18:32Speaker 2: and that's what a lot of those child disappearances you
- 18:37Speaker 2: would see it attributed.
- 18:39Speaker 1: To that, like are in the press.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Yeah, Like there were all of these like daycare operators
- 18:46Speaker 2: who went to prison. There's a great documentary about it.
- 18:50Speaker 2: The same group that pushes shaken baby syndrome, which if
- 18:55Speaker 2: you look into shaking baby syndrome mostly a myth because
- 19:00Speaker 2: well think about like everyone has seen those demonstrations of
- 19:04Speaker 2: a baby being shaken. Yeah, and you see that head
- 19:07Speaker 2: flopping back and forth, that is a baby. Their neck
- 19:10Speaker 2: would snap. And if there is a diagnosis of shaking
- 19:15Speaker 2: baby syndrome and there's no neck injuries, it's not shaking
- 19:19Speaker 2: baby syndrome. You cannot inflict those injuries through shaking without
- 19:24Speaker 2: breaking the neck first, without injuring the neck.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Oh, it's a false it's a cover up.
- 19:29Speaker 2: And what happened is the same group that pushed the
- 19:33Speaker 2: Satanic panic in the eighties got behind the idea of
- 19:37Speaker 2: shaking baby syndrome. And even the doctor who first suggested
- 19:41Speaker 2: shaking baby syndrome could be a thing was like, yes,
- 19:44Speaker 2: but only if there's neck injuries present. If there's no
- 19:47Speaker 2: neck injuries, that's not shaking baby syndrome, it's something else.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Well, yeah, you'd have to put a lot of effort
- 19:53Speaker 1: into shaking the baby very differently, right to not break
- 19:56Speaker 1: like to shake the baby, but keep the neck secure.
- 20:00Speaker 1: That probably could cause some damage as well.
- 20:02Speaker 2: But yeah, and that group took what he said and
- 20:06Speaker 2: they were like, Okay, everything except the next thing, let's go.
- 20:09Speaker 2: And they got this law put in place where if
- 20:13Speaker 2: a doctor sees these three symptoms they immediately have to
- 20:17Speaker 2: notify authorities because those three symptoms can only be caused
- 20:22Speaker 2: by shaking baby syndrome. And that's a lie. Those symptoms
- 20:25Speaker 2: can be caused by vitamin D deficiency, they can be
- 20:28Speaker 2: caused by a fall, they can be caused by something
- 20:32Speaker 2: like twenty six different conditions. But the same group that
- 20:35Speaker 2: convinced everyone in the eighties that daycare operators were out
- 20:40Speaker 2: here committing ritual satanic abuse. Once that got exposed as
- 20:46Speaker 2: not being the case, they moved on to Okay, well,
- 20:49Speaker 2: now shaking baby syndrome is the problem, and all these
- 20:52Speaker 2: parents all across the country are shaking their fucking kids
- 20:54Speaker 2: and killing them. And if you look into all these
- 20:56Speaker 2: parents who are in prison for it, no neck injuries like,
- 21:00Speaker 2: the guy who's looked into it the most has not
- 21:04Speaker 2: found a single case of neck injuries being present where
- 21:07Speaker 2: these parents went to prison.
- 21:09Speaker 1: So is it a framing of the parents of if they,
- 21:13Speaker 1: you know, they fucked up and killed the kid. Yeah,
- 21:17Speaker 1: in whatever experiment or.
- 21:18Speaker 2: The only thing I can't well, the only thing I
- 21:21Speaker 2: can think of in terms of that is like, it's
- 21:24Speaker 2: got to sort of be a private prison thing. Yeah,
- 21:27Speaker 2: like maybe a way to keep people who wouldn't normally
- 21:31Speaker 2: go to prison, keep them part of the prison population.
- 21:35Speaker 2: I have no idea why the people behind the Satanic
- 21:38Speaker 2: Panic moved on to shaken baby syndrome. But the thing
- 21:43Speaker 2: about the Finders and what makes all of that really
- 21:46Speaker 2: confusing for me is we all know the Satanic Panic happened.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Almost every parent or daycare operator who was convicted under
- 21:55Speaker 2: that was subsequently acquitted and released. I think one person
- 22:01Speaker 2: might still be in prison, and even they probably shouldn't be.
- 22:04Speaker 2: So the inclination is to go, Okay, yeah, well that's
- 22:08Speaker 2: all bullshit. There was no ritualistic abuse of children by
- 22:15Speaker 2: any group in the eighties, and then this fucking Finders
- 22:19Speaker 2: thing happens in nineteen eighty seven in Tallahassee, and it's like, okay,
- 22:25Speaker 2: but maybe it was happening a little and we shouldn't
- 22:29Speaker 2: have been so quick to write it off. Yeah, and
- 22:32Speaker 2: it what's really uncomfortable about the finders and going down
- 22:37Speaker 2: this rabbit hole. I'm sure you probably experienced this too.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Very pizzagate esque.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah that I immediately thought of.
- 22:44Speaker 2: That because Pizzagate is It sounds insane. Yeah, that a
- 22:51Speaker 2: sex trafficking ring would be operated by elite educated types
- 22:58Speaker 2: working out of Washington in DC and doing it through
- 23:02Speaker 2: a local pizza place.
- 23:05Speaker 1: I always wonder like, why why do like successful rich
- 23:08Speaker 1: men love fucking kids so much or so many of them?
- 23:11Speaker 1: It just seems like a disp I don't know.
- 23:13Speaker 2: It's yeah, it's got like well maybe I don't.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Know, it's there, there's a fringe within that group. I
- 23:18Speaker 1: don't know. It just seems like a disproportionate percentage. I
- 23:21Speaker 1: don't know. Am I wrong?
- 23:24Speaker 2: No, it does, I mean, I guess, I don't know.
- 23:27Speaker 2: I feel like saying, yeah, rich rich dudes are gonna
- 23:31Speaker 2: molest you, Like, I don't want to put that out
- 23:34Speaker 2: there because I feel like you should just be on
- 23:36Speaker 2: guard in general around adults. If you're a child like
- 23:41Speaker 2: and maybe it's just because the Satanic panic and aliens
- 23:45Speaker 2: abducting all the kids in the eighties, which is another
- 23:48Speaker 2: theory that's out there about it. I don't know, like
- 23:52Speaker 2: I feel like you have to want to fuck kids
- 23:54Speaker 2: to be able to answer that question.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Yeah, or be just you know, a ruthless pragmat who
- 24:00Speaker 1: sees uh yeah, opportunity.
- 24:02Speaker 2: And but that's the thing is what's the yeah imagine
- 24:05Speaker 2: hat like, just why does.
- 24:06Speaker 1: The government have a hand in sex trafficking?
- 24:09Speaker 2: Well, it's weird. One of the if you get deep
- 24:12Speaker 2: enough into this Finder's investigation. At one point it suggested
- 24:18Speaker 2: that the CIA didn't mean for this to turn into
- 24:22Speaker 2: a sex cult. It just kind of turned into a
- 24:25Speaker 2: Satanic sex cult and they were like, oh fuck, like
- 24:29Speaker 2: we were just trying to eat.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I swear to go to CIA. I don't know what
- 24:32Speaker 1: they do to people, but they need a sitcom. Yeah,
- 24:35Speaker 1: when people come out of there just fucked up, and
- 24:38Speaker 1: then the CIA has to clean up their mess, and
- 24:40Speaker 1: like they create these quote unquote monsters. Yeah, and then
- 24:43Speaker 1: it's like, you know, like I mean look at you know,
- 24:46Speaker 1: the War on terrorism and all that shit. You know,
- 24:48Speaker 1: who put people in power.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Yeah, it's the reason I bring up MK Ultra one
- 24:53Speaker 2: because I do sort of with how prevalent cults were
- 24:59Speaker 2: in the eighties, like, regardless of the Satanic thing, whether
- 25:03Speaker 2: they were influenced by Satan or not, just the sheer
- 25:07Speaker 2: number of cults that became a big, big deal in
- 25:11Speaker 2: the eighties, including Scientology, which, if people are unfamiliar, the
- 25:15Speaker 2: founder of Scientology L. Round Hubbard was in the Navy
- 25:18Speaker 2: before he started Scientology. All of these cults that spring
- 25:23Speaker 2: up in the eighties. After looking through all this finders shit,
- 25:27Speaker 2: it just sort of makes me wonder if when mk
- 25:30Speaker 2: Ultra shut down, if the CIA was like, Okay, no
- 25:34Speaker 2: more universities and hospitals, let's create communes.
- 25:38Speaker 1: We need to get off the grid. Yeah, and maybe
- 25:40Speaker 1: using you know, former military to write be a point
- 25:44Speaker 1: or you know, or as a pawn. Then I don't
- 25:47Speaker 1: know how in they I mean to see the leader
- 25:50Speaker 1: of a commune. I feel like there has to be
- 25:51Speaker 1: some sort of delusion.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Well, one of the weirdest and people try to write
- 25:57Speaker 2: this off all the time. We did an episode about it,
- 26:00Speaker 2: but we just scratched the surface because there is a
- 26:03Speaker 2: I think twenty eight part magazine article that I think
- 26:07Speaker 2: was eventually turned into a book about how every single
- 26:12Speaker 2: influential member of that Laurel Canyon music scene in the sixties,
- 26:17Speaker 2: like Neil Young, the Doors, the Birds, fucking David Crosby,
- 26:22Speaker 2: all of those motherfuckers are military children. All of them.
- 26:27Speaker 2: That entire fucking scene is in. You can make the
- 26:33Speaker 2: argument while World War Two happened, so a lot of
- 26:35Speaker 2: people like join the military or went to the military,
- 26:39Speaker 2: and then like Vietnam started and so of court, but
- 26:42Speaker 2: all of them, like, all of them, every single fucking one. Yeah,
- 26:47Speaker 2: all military kids just buy fucking chance show up at
- 26:52Speaker 2: Laurel Canyon, at Frank Zappa's house at the same time
- 26:56Speaker 2: and start the counterculture movement, and we're supposed to be like, yeah,
- 27:00Speaker 2: there's no government involvement there, Like, of course there's.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Some Ian It makes you raise a brow, Yeah, of course,
- 27:08Speaker 1: Jelly's at least one, you know.
- 27:10Speaker 2: And when you look into all of these different cults
- 27:14Speaker 2: and communes that popped up in the eighties, a lot
- 27:17Speaker 2: of them popped up off American soil or moved to
- 27:21Speaker 2: off American soil, And the CIA isn't supposed to operate
- 27:26Speaker 2: on American soil. And if you dig into the details
- 27:29Speaker 2: of these individual groups, a lot of times you fucking
- 27:33Speaker 2: end up at the CIA. You end up having questions
- 27:37Speaker 2: about where they get their money and why they were
- 27:39Speaker 2: allowed to go to place as they went, which is
- 27:41Speaker 2: a thing you see here.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Because you know they're on the radar. Of course, they're
- 27:45Speaker 1: absolutely in the radar. So it's you know, who knows.
- 27:48Speaker 1: You know, you might make a deal, Like if.
- 27:50Speaker 2: This network just set up a fucking commune and Idaho,
- 27:54Speaker 2: we'd get it. Someone would come infiltrate us. Like if
- 27:57Speaker 2: I was like, I'm taking these fucking messages about Trump
- 28:00Speaker 2: to a goddamn mountaintop in Idaho, it would be Ruby
- 28:03Speaker 2: Ridge Part two, Like I would would I would get shot.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Probably the government does not take kindly to that. Yeah,
- 28:11Speaker 2: So of course all these groups when the government's radar.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Yeah, and and in the good graces.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Yeah. It seems that way. And it feels like the
- 28:21Speaker 2: finders could be that box of documents moment for the
- 28:27Speaker 2: second half of mk Ultra today or this month right
- 28:32Speaker 2: where we know mk Ultra shut down in theory and
- 28:36Speaker 2: people are like, yeah, but they're probably still doing it. Somehow.
- 28:38Speaker 2: I feel like these documents could be the thing that
- 28:42Speaker 2: if it's honestly investigated and looked into enough, we might
- 28:47Speaker 2: find out. Mk ultra continued, and it continued as communes
- 28:51Speaker 2: and cults, which is the logical way to continue it.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Yeah, off the grid, no paper trail. And you like,
- 29:00Speaker 1: if you're the entity that's supposed to be responsible for
- 29:03Speaker 1: observing and controlling these groups, then you have the power there.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Right, So let's talk about this Tallahassee incident.
- 29:12Speaker 1: And that's where it's odd. It's very odd.
- 29:15Speaker 2: For it was five kids, I think it was six,
- 29:18Speaker 2: it was either five or six.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Six kids discovered in dirty clothes with two men in suits.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Yeah, that's just an odd visual. Yeah, that alone, I'm
- 29:28Speaker 2: already out. It's like, get a fucking woman in that van, please,
- 29:31Speaker 2: Like this is a nightmare.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Well, and it's like two guys put together and five
- 29:35Speaker 1: kids who who have not lived in society.
- 29:39Speaker 2: They look like street children. Yeah, and these dudes are
- 29:43Speaker 2: well dressed, well put together, wearing suits. They're traveling in
- 29:46Speaker 2: a van. So what happens. February fourth, nineteen eighty seven.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Douglas Amherman twenty seven and James Michael Howell sometimes called
- 29:54Speaker 2: Michael Hulahan twenty eight are pulled over in a van
- 29:57Speaker 2: in Tallahassee after a woman calls the police and says, uh,
- 30:03Speaker 2: these two well dressed men were just at the park
- 30:07Speaker 2: with these two kids that she described as scruffy and hungry.
- 30:13Speaker 1: So if a kid looks hungry, Yeah, you know what
- 30:16Speaker 1: I'm saying. If a kid is hungry, it's like, Okay,
- 30:18Speaker 1: there's there that kid needs to be attended to. But
- 30:20Speaker 1: they're looking hungry.
- 30:22Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a set. Like with the fucking Sarah McLaughlin
- 30:25Speaker 2: dog commercials. Yeah, when you see a dog that's all
- 30:27Speaker 2: skin and bones, you're like, get that good boy some food.
- 30:30Speaker 2: I'm sure it's the same with kids.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Want to adopt them, Yeah, exactly, like in the send
- 30:34Speaker 1: a dollar a month type of way.
- 30:36Speaker 2: And these were like these were like feral kids, like
- 30:40Speaker 2: most of them, according to police reports, like didn't recognize
- 30:45Speaker 2: modern things like telephones and typewriters, and like I.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Think they I read in one of the articles that
- 30:52Speaker 1: only one of the kid was one of the children
- 30:54Speaker 1: was able to give information to them police.
- 30:56Speaker 2: They were mostly noncommunicative except for the oldest girl, who
- 31:01Speaker 2: is identified as Mary, and all of the kids are
- 31:06Speaker 2: identified only by their first names, John Franklin, Max, Mary Bebe,
- 31:13Speaker 2: and Honeybee again, Honeybee, get those kids to the police
- 31:18Speaker 2: right now.
- 31:19Speaker 1: You're just setting her up for success, right.
- 31:21Speaker 2: And when they ask these two dudes what they're doing
- 31:24Speaker 2: with these kids, their response is, we're transporting them to
- 31:29Speaker 2: Mexico so we can establish a school for brilliant children.
- 31:32Speaker 2: I mean, and I mean flattering for those kids, I'm sure.
- 31:36Speaker 1: But it's just like, you don't want to give them
- 31:37Speaker 1: a bathroom.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't want to fly you don't want to
- 31:40Speaker 2: like fly them there, Yeah, like feed them, do anything.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Them in the back of them, they're so brilliant. Just
- 31:45Speaker 1: throw them in the back of a van, like there's
- 31:47Speaker 1: not showing any value.
- 31:49Speaker 2: They also told police that the kids were being weaned
- 31:52Speaker 2: from their mothers. Okay, that's I mean, come on, yeah,
- 31:55Speaker 2: that's a problem. That's a red flag. That's a huge
- 31:57Speaker 2: red flag. And they claim the parents were in Washington,
- 32:01Speaker 2: d C. Which that part's important. So the police are like,
- 32:04Speaker 2: all right, we should probably just arrest you, like this
- 32:07Speaker 2: feels like a really big problem.
- 32:10Speaker 1: And this was a local Tallahassee Police Tallahassee PD.
- 32:13Speaker 2: And when they say that they're going to arrest these men.
- 32:18Speaker 2: Michael Hulahan falls face down on the ground and refuses
- 32:22Speaker 2: to stand up, but they arrest him anyway, as you do.
- 32:25Speaker 2: I don't I don't know if he thought playing dead
- 32:26Speaker 2: was gonna work.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Oh he okay, like he's.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Yeah, like he fainted or something. Yeah, Jesus and the
- 32:34Speaker 2: police searched this van, and they find a stash of
- 32:38Speaker 2: fake IDs, more than twenty floppy discs, a TSR eighty computer,
- 32:44Speaker 2: a Chinese to English translation dictionary, and a device used
- 32:48Speaker 2: to connect two computers via a phone line, which we
- 32:51Speaker 2: know now is a modem. Yeah, but police in eighty seven,
- 32:55Speaker 2: it's like fucking ancient Egypt seeing spaceships and they're like, look,
- 32:59Speaker 2: it's a bird.
- 33:01Speaker 1: They just I mean they described it pretty accurately.
- 33:04Speaker 2: I mean they nailed it in nineteen eighty seven tech terms.
- 33:07Speaker 2: So the police were initially unable to locate the parents.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Another huge problem.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, like when you think of kids under
- 33:17Speaker 1: the age of six, it's just like it's I just
- 33:20Speaker 1: remember being upset when my parents left at that age, right,
- 33:23Speaker 1: you know, like it's just I think there's something in
- 33:25Speaker 1: development where like that time that bonding with the parent
- 33:28Speaker 1: like it's it's it's a little traumatizing to just like
- 33:32Speaker 1: not have your parents around like that.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Well maybe it would have been less traumatizing if you
- 33:37Speaker 2: were weaned off your mother at a younger age. Yeah,
- 33:39Speaker 2: if you had been thrown in a van.
- 33:41Speaker 1: I guess I just wasn't considered brilliant enough to be
- 33:43Speaker 1: taken out of Mexican care.
- 33:44Speaker 2: If I was starting a school in Mexico for just
- 33:47Speaker 2: brilliant people, now, it's never too late. I I would
- 33:51Speaker 2: use you to found it.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Well I can't. I can't be in it.
- 33:56Speaker 2: That's exactly how I want to say it. I would
- 33:59Speaker 2: use you to have found it.
- 34:01Speaker 1: I can't be can't. I'm not as influenceable or what
- 34:05Speaker 1: is it called when you take drugs and people.
- 34:07Speaker 2: There's nothing LST can't program me. I don't know where
- 34:11Speaker 2: we'd find drugs in Los Angeles? Is the problem?
- 34:13Speaker 1: I know that's a tough one.
- 34:15Speaker 2: So, yeah, all of these kids. One important detail about
- 34:21Speaker 2: this very important detail is the police initially said two
- 34:26Speaker 2: of the children showed signs of sexual abuse. And I'll
- 34:31Speaker 2: link to a documentary. It's not really a documentary. It's
- 34:34Speaker 2: a like a twenty minute YouTube video that kind of
- 34:37Speaker 2: lays out the timeline of this. And when you just
- 34:41Speaker 2: hear the police say, oh, there were signs of sexual abuse,
- 34:43Speaker 2: it's hard to wrap your head around what that means.
- 34:46Speaker 2: And it is horrific and I don't want to fucking
- 34:49Speaker 2: say what it means. But they didn't just glance at
- 34:52Speaker 2: these kids and go, hey, that kid's been touched. Like
- 34:55Speaker 2: a doctor examined these kids and found signs of sexual
- 34:59Speaker 2: ab So at this point it's a problem, and they
- 35:04Speaker 2: still can't find the parents. All of the kids are uncommunicative.
- 35:10Speaker 2: They're covered in bug bites, which is strange. Yeah, they
- 35:13Speaker 2: would ask to go outside when they wanted to use
- 35:15Speaker 2: the bathroom. One of them defecated on the floor of
- 35:18Speaker 2: the police station, which that's kind of dumpe. Yeah, I'd
- 35:22Speaker 2: maybe do that right now, give him a chance.
- 35:24Speaker 1: Yeah, he's starting a movement.
- 35:28Speaker 2: The girl who was able to talk said that they
- 35:32Speaker 2: had been living in a house with several other children
- 35:35Speaker 2: and adults. They were only allowed to eat when it
- 35:38Speaker 2: was a reward for good behavior, and even then they
- 35:41Speaker 2: were only given raw fruits and vegetables. She said a
- 35:44Speaker 2: man called the game caller was their leader, and he
- 35:48Speaker 2: told both the adults and children what to do. When
- 35:51Speaker 2: asked about sexual abuse, she denied anything of the light
- 35:54Speaker 2: had happened, but also got very uncomfortable and asked to
- 35:58Speaker 2: end the interview at that point. And the next day
- 36:01Speaker 2: police confirm that all of these people, the adults and
- 36:04Speaker 2: the children, are part of this group called the Finders.
- 36:08Speaker 2: So that's the Tallahassee portion of what happens. And as
- 36:13Speaker 2: crazy as all of that is, it gets significantly crazier,
- 36:18Speaker 2: Like the investigations into this are nuts, and the FBI documents,
- 36:25Speaker 2: the thing about FBI dumps and things like that, if
- 36:29Speaker 2: you just pull them up. This isn't really the case
- 36:32Speaker 2: with the Muller Report, which I bring up just because
- 36:35Speaker 2: I hate when like people running for president are like,
- 36:39Speaker 2: I've read the Muller Report. It's like, bitch, it's a
- 36:42Speaker 2: book you can buy in stores. Yeah, you should have
- 36:45Speaker 2: read the Muller Report the day it came out. You're
- 36:48Speaker 2: running for president for doing your job. Yeah, I'm supposed
- 36:51Speaker 2: to be impressed that you read a four hundred page
- 36:53Speaker 2: book this year.
- 36:54Speaker 1: I mean, like it's all relative now, like the standards.
- 36:57Speaker 1: So yeah, so reading, right, a president who reads?
- 37:02Speaker 2: But so I get it when if and we'll link
- 37:06Speaker 2: to the FBI documents on the website if you click
- 37:09Speaker 2: on it first. It's pretty imposing. It's like three hundred
- 37:12Speaker 2: sum pages. I think maybe only three hundred. Yeah, but
- 37:15Speaker 2: what you have to understand about that there's a lot
- 37:17Speaker 2: of cover letters, there's a lot of the same report
- 37:21Speaker 2: filed multiple times, so you don't have to read it,
- 37:23Speaker 2: and it's.
- 37:23Speaker 1: On a full page each time.
- 37:25Speaker 2: You know, it's it's not It reached faster than you
- 37:28Speaker 2: would expect. I got through all of it yesterday in
- 37:31Speaker 2: a couple hours. Yeah, and that's reading it thoroughly, like
- 37:35Speaker 2: you can also just sort of scan it.
- 37:36Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, I just I went through the first
- 37:39Speaker 1: ten pages pretty thoroughly in a few minutes.
- 37:42Speaker 2: And the details in there are insane. So but back
- 37:47Speaker 2: to I don't even know why I brought that up,
- 37:50Speaker 2: but uh, back to the this investigation, Like, like we
- 37:55Speaker 2: know all of this stuff about the finders, like this
- 37:59Speaker 2: one Tallahassee incident. If this doesn't happen, I don't think
- 38:03Speaker 2: we would probably know anything about this group.
- 38:07Speaker 1: They slipped up, right, that was a major slip on
- 38:09Speaker 1: their end.
- 38:10Speaker 2: And you know it's a slip up because of the
- 38:14Speaker 2: things that happen next. Yeah, but the first thing that
- 38:18Speaker 2: happens is Tallahassee notifies Washington, d C. Because they've they
- 38:23Speaker 2: after looking into the Finders, realized they're located in Washington, DC,
- 38:28Speaker 2: so they called DC Metro and Washington d C is like, yep,
- 38:31Speaker 2: we know all about them. A confidential informant actually came
- 38:35Speaker 2: to us a few weeks ago and was like, Hey,
- 38:37Speaker 2: I think there's a sex cult operating in the DC area,
- 38:41Speaker 2: might be buying and selling kids. Yeah, if you want
- 38:43Speaker 2: to look into that.
- 38:43Speaker 1: And they were like, maybe they became aware of pretty recently.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Right, They had also just sort of become aware of
- 38:50Speaker 2: this group, and which is crazy because this group was
- 38:53Speaker 2: born out of the Human Potential movement, which started in
- 38:57Speaker 2: the seventies, so they'd been in existence and probably in
- 39:02Speaker 2: the DC area for a while.
- 39:04Speaker 1: What's the name of the leader something Petty Morgan Petty.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Do we know his history?
- 39:09Speaker 2: That's what future episodes of this are going to be about.
- 39:12Speaker 2: He is again like the Laurel Canyon thing. It's just
- 39:16Speaker 2: a coincidence obviously that all of those famous rock stars
- 39:20Speaker 2: are military children. With Morgan Petty, we're supposed to take
- 39:25Speaker 2: his word that the fact that his wife worked for
- 39:29Speaker 2: the CIA and his son worked for Air America, which
- 39:33Speaker 2: was a famous CIA airline that basically ran drugs. We're
- 39:36Speaker 2: supposed to take that as just coincidence in that this
- 39:40Speaker 2: group has nothing to do with the CIA at all.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Like there are interviews with him. I found some fascinating
- 39:47Speaker 2: shit about this guy, and we'll get into it, because
- 39:50Speaker 2: that's the thing. He doesn't even come up much in
- 39:53Speaker 2: these early investigations because, as we'll find out, the investigation
- 39:58Speaker 2: gets shut down so quickly, and it's like, why is
- 40:03Speaker 2: that guy who started a cult and is also married
- 40:06Speaker 2: to someone in the CIA? Why did your investment?
- 40:09Speaker 1: People are carrying vans of sexually abused children.
- 40:12Speaker 2: Vans have sexually abused children. And one of the things
- 40:16Speaker 2: that comes out, like after Washington, d C, here's from Tallahassee.
- 40:21Speaker 2: They conduct these raids on three different properties owned by
- 40:25Speaker 2: the finders. There's a farm, and then there's a warehouse,
- 40:28Speaker 2: and then there's a triplex that they own in Washington,
- 40:32Speaker 2: d C.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Are these in close proximity of each other, they're in
- 40:35Speaker 1: the same.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Well, they're all in DC and DC is not huge. Yeah,
- 40:39Speaker 2: but the farm I think was in Virginia which is
- 40:43Speaker 2: pretty much DC, that's still Washington, d C. So all
- 40:46Speaker 2: these different government agencies get involved because now there's the
- 40:49Speaker 2: potential that kids are getting like taken from overseas or
- 40:53Speaker 2: taken overseas, and like these crimes might cross federal and
- 40:57Speaker 2: state lines. So customer service gets involved, the FBI gets involved,
- 41:03Speaker 2: and the CIA gets involved to some extent, but they're
- 41:07Speaker 2: involved the least in the actual investigation. No reason.
- 41:11Speaker 1: And uh, Phil, I mean you'd think that someone would
- 41:13Speaker 1: want to send someone to do damage control.
- 41:15Speaker 2: Yeah, and they sort of do. Like that's one of
- 41:18Speaker 2: the they have to be subtle about it. That's one
- 41:21Speaker 2: of the suggestions here is that at one point someone goes, look,
- 41:25Speaker 2: this is CIA matter pal, you need to back off,
- 41:29Speaker 2: And people backed off.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:31Speaker 2: Like do we remember any huge arrests of a global
- 41:34Speaker 2: sex trafficking ring in the eighties. I don't. So they
- 41:38Speaker 2: launched these three simultaneous raids, and they remove from a
- 41:43Speaker 2: warehouse that was near one of the properties. They remove
- 41:47Speaker 2: multiple bags of photographs, computer records, and documents. The photos
- 41:51Speaker 2: are especially questionable. Here is a quote from US custom
- 41:55Speaker 2: spokesman David Hoover speaking to the Washington Post in nineteen
- 41:59Speaker 2: eighty seven, not saying that it's pornographic, but it has all.
- 42:03Speaker 1: The ear marks, and so he's like, we're not saying it,
- 42:06Speaker 1: but it is.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Yeah. And another customs inspector who did a what turns
- 42:11Speaker 2: out to be a really important report that I think
- 42:14Speaker 2: was just released as part of this FBI dump of files.
- 42:19Speaker 2: The implication is that they're naked, like they're pictures of
- 42:23Speaker 2: naked children, and.
- 42:25Speaker 1: I mean all the ear marks.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Yeah, like that's an ear mark. Yeah, that's all. That's
- 42:30Speaker 2: all I really need. Yeah, Like if you have multiple
- 42:33Speaker 2: pictures of even your own kids.
- 42:35Speaker 1: And plenty, yeah, one's plenty.
- 42:37Speaker 2: Yeah, one's a goof you've caught your kid in the bath? Also,
- 42:42Speaker 2: still don't even put that on Facebook? What are you doing?
- 42:45Speaker 1: But I mean yeah, I mean like it's like, but
- 42:47Speaker 1: if you have like stacks, yeah, and they're all different kids,
- 42:50Speaker 1: it's like, well, there's a little collection going on here.
- 42:53Speaker 1: What's up?
- 42:53Speaker 2: Yeah, you have you have some explaining to do. Explain
- 42:57Speaker 2: in And there were all so several photos of children
- 43:02Speaker 2: processing or slaughtering goats.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Ah yeah yeah, I remember reading that.
- 43:08Speaker 2: And several images depicting children involved in blood letting ceremonies
- 43:14Speaker 2: while surrounded by men in white robes.
- 43:16Speaker 1: And it sounded ritualistic to me.
- 43:20Speaker 2: And this is this is in a US customs agent's
- 43:25Speaker 2: report about what they found. And that's the moment where
- 43:30Speaker 2: I'm researching this and I'm like, Okay, was the satanic
- 43:33Speaker 2: panic completely fake? Like yeah, because they also report finding
- 43:38Speaker 2: a clearing behind one of these homes. Yeah, that looked
- 43:43Speaker 2: like it had been used for which was a thing
- 43:46Speaker 2: people would say all the time in the eighties, like
- 43:49Speaker 2: when they were like ooh, dungeons and dragons. But also
- 43:52Speaker 2: it's like the fucking clearings were there with the rocks
- 43:55Speaker 2: around them, like why like why were so many of
- 43:58Speaker 2: those popping up? And it just those pictures like in
- 44:02Speaker 2: that initial investigation in eighty seven, and all the newspaper
- 44:07Speaker 2: articles around it, which, fascinatingly enough, you can just google
- 44:11Speaker 2: and still read all of the Washington Post's coverage about this.
- 44:15Speaker 2: This was a huge story.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you just sent me a link and yeah.
- 44:19Speaker 1: And I actually didn't realize it was from the eighties
- 44:22Speaker 1: until I went back and I saw the date and
- 44:24Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, this is just readily available.
- 44:26Speaker 2: Yeah, there's multiple there's an associated HTTPS.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Was it even secure?
- 44:31Speaker 2: I don't know, probably not.
- 44:34Speaker 1: Don't put your credit card information in, don't give them
- 44:36Speaker 1: to the finders.
- 44:37Speaker 2: Use code on pops yeah check out. If you do, though,
- 44:40Speaker 2: we'll get a little fifteen percent kickback from the finders.
- 44:43Speaker 1: Good way to track and see who's you know?
- 44:45Speaker 2: Yeah, who's the finders now? Right? So this US Customs official,
- 44:51Speaker 2: his name's Ramon Martinez. He wrote the report that mentions
- 44:56Speaker 2: all of this crazy shit that he found. Also mentions
- 45:00Speaker 2: finding several documents about obtaining or purchasing children.
- 45:06Speaker 1: And his report is he's left hand in the cookie
- 45:09Speaker 1: jar shit. It really is.
- 45:11Speaker 2: And you would think with all of that, this would
- 45:15Speaker 2: have become a bigger deal unless unless there was someone
- 45:20Speaker 2: at a really high level in government. Because this investigation.
- 45:25Speaker 2: Customs investigates it, the FBI investigates it, DC Police look
- 45:29Speaker 2: into it, Talla.
- 45:31Speaker 1: Police, it's on the radar, and then it disappears.
- 45:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and then eventually they just shut it down and
- 45:37Speaker 2: everyone's like what, like, what do you mean? But that
- 45:39Speaker 2: was the eighties, so what what the fuck were we
- 45:41Speaker 2: gonna do? Go on the internet and get mad about it,
- 45:44Speaker 2: And so that the Ramon Martinez files this report and
- 45:50Speaker 2: based on all of this, especially customs and the DC
- 45:54Speaker 2: police are like, is this a child porn ring or
- 45:57Speaker 2: like a child sex trafficking ring, which is something you
- 46:01Speaker 2: obviously want to investigate further, uh and put a stop
- 46:05Speaker 2: to if you can. And then a really weird thing happens,
- 46:08Speaker 2: As if this isn't weird enough already, a few days
- 46:12Speaker 2: after the investigation starts, there's this student on the campus
- 46:16Speaker 2: of Florida State University in Tallahassee who just finds a
- 46:21Speaker 2: computer in a phone booth. And this is eighty seven.
- 46:24Speaker 1: It's not like so, yeah, commuters aren't laptop, they aren't
- 46:27Speaker 1: air mags.
- 46:28Speaker 2: Someone didn't drop their eye.
- 46:30Speaker 1: A couple of boxes full of shit.
- 46:31Speaker 2: It's heavy. Yeah, And not only do they find a computer,
- 46:37Speaker 2: was it.
- 46:37Speaker 1: The phone, but was the phone booth itself computer? Probably
- 46:43Speaker 1: exactly like it, just the computer stacked on itself.
- 46:46Speaker 2: And this computer he finds, unbeknownst to him, exactly like
- 46:51Speaker 2: the computer found in the van when they pulled those
- 46:54Speaker 2: two men over with those five kits, same kind of computer.
- 46:59Speaker 2: And this student finds his computer and is like, free computer,
- 47:03Speaker 2: I'm gonna go home and fuck around with this. Yeah,
- 47:06Speaker 2: And he takes it home and he finds all of
- 47:09Speaker 2: this like inside information about the Tallahassee police investigating the Finders,
- 47:16Speaker 2: and it is never addressed how the person who owned
- 47:21Speaker 2: that computer had all this information about the Tallahassee PDS
- 47:25Speaker 2: police report.
- 47:26Speaker 1: Who initially owned the computer?
- 47:28Speaker 2: Do we know that? They just know it was someone
- 47:31Speaker 2: who was tied to the Finders and they.
- 47:34Speaker 1: And it was left. I mean, if you leave something
- 47:37Speaker 1: like that in the phone booth, it's meant to be
- 47:38Speaker 1: found either.
- 47:40Speaker 2: That or you know, the police are closing in on
- 47:43Speaker 2: you and you're fucking fleeing and.
- 47:46Speaker 1: You're just leaving your shit out in the open.
- 47:49Speaker 2: Well, you're probably not wanting to send This is my
- 47:54Speaker 2: theory of how that computer ends up there.
- 47:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you have to hault.
- 47:58Speaker 2: I think every one associated with the two men who
- 48:02Speaker 2: were arrested found out that they were arrested. And we
- 48:05Speaker 2: know these computers were used to communicate with each other, presumably,
- 48:11Speaker 2: so they weren't having their phones tapped or having to
- 48:14Speaker 2: communicate in that way.
- 48:16Speaker 1: And they had internet access and modems right whatever they
- 48:19Speaker 1: called it back then.
- 48:21Speaker 2: And the one thing you see in any TV show
- 48:24Speaker 2: or movie about organizations trying to avoid police detection, especially
- 48:28Speaker 2: in the seventies, eighties nineties, they use payphones. So if
- 48:32Speaker 2: you know that you're part of this huge fucking child
- 48:35Speaker 2: sex trafficking ring and it's like two of your members
- 48:39Speaker 2: just got arrested with five fucking kids in a vane,
- 48:44Speaker 2: you know it's time. There's probably some sort of like
- 48:48Speaker 2: message that's going to go out on that network of
- 48:51Speaker 2: computers to say, all right, everyone fucking shut it down,
- 48:54Speaker 2: go into hiding. Shit just got real. Yeah, And if
- 48:58Speaker 2: you're sending that message, you're probably doing it thinking like,
- 49:02Speaker 2: all right, I need to get the fuck out of
- 49:05Speaker 2: here right now, and either in a panic you leave
- 49:08Speaker 2: the computer behind or you just don't want to be
- 49:11Speaker 2: bogged down by running away with it. Or also you
- 49:15Speaker 2: know that even if the police.
- 49:16Speaker 1: Find it and know that just an odd placement.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Well I think they they had to connect to the
- 49:24Speaker 2: phone booth to oh gotcha, they needed the they needed
- 49:28Speaker 2: that phone line, that line that police wouldn't have tapped, gotcha.
- 49:32Speaker 1: And then it's just like fucking I gotta get the fuck.
- 49:33Speaker 2: Out, yeah, Because then if they if they find it
- 49:35Speaker 2: connected to your home phone or something, or find that
- 49:38Speaker 2: it's a call went through your home number, it's traceable.
- 49:42Speaker 2: But if they find it in the phone booth and
- 49:43Speaker 2: the computer's still there, like they might get your fingerprints
- 49:47Speaker 2: or something. But other than that, it's like fuck you.
- 49:49Speaker 1: Can you imagine just like the kind of pressure you
- 49:51Speaker 1: must be under to haul that big ass computer to
- 49:54Speaker 1: a phone booth and then assemble it.
- 49:56Speaker 2: That's the thing too, It's like you got to do
- 49:58Speaker 2: that without being detected.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like you're really slick.
- 50:02Speaker 2: Yeah, people are your partners suck?
- 50:03Speaker 1: I mean they got like you. You were able to
- 50:05Speaker 1: take a computer and put put reassemble it in a
- 50:08Speaker 1: phone booth, which is probably clear, and your partners are
- 50:11Speaker 1: walking around with five dirty kids, say dirty kids.
- 50:14Speaker 2: That's probably why sloppy. That's probably why they use the
- 50:19Speaker 2: campus of Florida State University. Because where else in the
- 50:24Speaker 2: eighties are a bunch of people going to be carrying
- 50:27Speaker 2: computers around then on the campus of Florida State University.
- 50:30Speaker 2: So you could very easily walk around with this new
- 50:34Speaker 2: fangled piece of equipment.
- 50:35Speaker 1: I'm a student, play dumb.
- 50:36Speaker 2: Yeah, like yo here, I'm a student, or I'm like,
- 50:39Speaker 2: I fucking fix computers. What do you want, kid, I'm
- 50:41Speaker 2: at a place where there's computers, like, so that's it's
- 50:44Speaker 2: not going to stand out. Yeah, and I actually just
- 50:46Speaker 2: thought about that. We're doing good work on this episode.
- 50:49Speaker 1: My god, we're uncovering some stuff, putting yeah two and
- 50:53Speaker 1: two together.
- 50:54Speaker 2: Getting four and shit, thinking like child sex traffickers look
- 50:58Speaker 2: at us.
- 50:58Speaker 1: Well you got to think like them to to podcast
- 51:01Speaker 1: about them. Yeah, I guess, so, you know, like, yeah,
- 51:04Speaker 1: I guess, so yeah, yeah, we're trying to understand.
- 51:07Speaker 2: Yeah, but I do think that's probably that probably explains
- 51:12Speaker 2: that phone, like that phone booth, why they use that
- 51:16Speaker 2: phone booth, because that's where and then you just then
- 51:18Speaker 2: you just leave that fucking computer and no one's ever
- 51:20Speaker 2: gonna find you.
- 51:21Speaker 1: Because all you do is pull the jack out.
- 51:23Speaker 2: Right.
- 51:23Speaker 1: It's like, I mean, I don't know, I don't I
- 51:25Speaker 1: don't even remember much.
- 51:27Speaker 2: But yeah, it was pretty simple, right, Well, this was
- 51:29Speaker 2: like pre internet computers. I mean, they had some version
- 51:33Speaker 2: of the Internet, obviously, but I don't know how this
- 51:35Speaker 2: fucking thing works.
- 51:36Speaker 1: Yeah, But and it's interesting that a commune would have
- 51:39Speaker 1: access to technology like this.
- 51:42Speaker 2: That's the thing as you dig deeper into this cult
- 51:45Speaker 2: they were, that was part of their whole gig. They
- 51:47Speaker 2: were a computer technology cult.
- 51:50Speaker 1: Anything you don't think of men walking around in suits
- 51:53Speaker 1: slaughtering goats.
- 51:55Speaker 2: Right, you know it's a little odd, and it's the eighties,
- 51:59Speaker 2: and what better way to get people into the fold
- 52:04Speaker 2: just so you can be in front of them and
- 52:07Speaker 2: talk to them, especially if you're trying to get rich
- 52:10Speaker 2: influential people. If you not only have access to all
- 52:14Speaker 2: of this computer technology, but know how to use it
- 52:17Speaker 2: and know how to harness it and can get in
- 52:19Speaker 2: front of a rich person and be like, man, you
- 52:21Speaker 2: wouldn't believe the shit you can accomplish with a computer.
- 52:24Speaker 2: I'll show you how to use one. Yeah, And next
- 52:27Speaker 2: thing you know, you're in the Finders helping them traffic
- 52:30Speaker 2: kids to China, and like, like you're recruited. Like we
- 52:33Speaker 2: know the Nexium cult that was just uncovered, what the
- 52:37Speaker 2: fuck was that? Like that was mostly rich, successful people
- 52:42Speaker 2: who were just looking for something else in life. They
- 52:45Speaker 2: were so fucking smart and so bored and so bored
- 52:49Speaker 2: with everyone in their life that they're like.
- 52:51Speaker 1: Too much power and nothing to do with that is dangerous.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Right, And like that's how rich people get defrauded out
- 52:58Speaker 2: of their money because they think they're so smar and well,
- 53:01Speaker 2: I would identify this person as a fraud if they
- 53:03Speaker 2: were a fraud and it's like, no, you're not that smart,
- 53:05Speaker 2: you're just bored. And they know that and they're taking
- 53:08Speaker 2: advantage of it. Like computers in the eighties would be
- 53:11Speaker 2: a great fucking way to get in with rich people.
- 53:14Speaker 2: Like that's pretty brilliant. Yeah, And that's what this group did.
- 53:19Speaker 2: They were like they would go around travel around the world.
- 53:23Speaker 2: Like when we get into talking about Mary and Petty
- 53:26Speaker 2: in the game Caller, that's what they called him. He
- 53:29Speaker 2: would they called him the game caller because right, yeah,
- 53:34Speaker 2: they called him that because these people would wake up
- 53:37Speaker 2: and be like, all right, what do you need us
- 53:40Speaker 2: to do today? And he'd be like, uh, go make
- 53:43Speaker 2: one hundred dollars.
- 53:44Speaker 1: He's a shot caller.
- 53:45Speaker 2: Yeah, And it wouldn't be about well we need one
- 53:48Speaker 2: hundred dollars. It would be about, well, get out there
- 53:51Speaker 2: in the world, leave the house right now with nothing
- 53:55Speaker 2: to your name, and come home with one hundred dollars,
- 53:57Speaker 2: like whatever you gotta do, fucking do it. And that
- 54:01Speaker 2: if you're putting young people and developing minds through shit
- 54:05Speaker 2: like that, like you're doing that for a purpose, you're
- 54:07Speaker 2: doing that to train people.
- 54:09Speaker 1: And the term gamefinder there we have the word game
- 54:11Speaker 1: in there, and you're talking to children, right, that is
- 54:14Speaker 1: one way to you know, I think in the second
- 54:18Speaker 1: article that you sent me, it was revealed that his
- 54:21Speaker 1: explanation for the goat sacrifices and the blood letting was
- 54:26Speaker 1: the goats were troublesome, and we wanted to make it
- 54:28Speaker 1: a game for the kids, and so we could you know,
- 54:31Speaker 1: sacrifice right, kill the goats and then eat them later.
- 54:34Speaker 1: And the blood letting, you know, maybe something for theatrics.
- 54:37Speaker 1: But it's just like, again, these this seems very.
- 54:40Speaker 2: Adult, very adult, you know, So it's it's it's it's in.
- 54:45Speaker 1: A manipulation technique, Like why are you playing these type
- 54:48Speaker 1: of games with kids?
- 54:49Speaker 2: Right? And so they find this phone booth computer, Yeah,
- 54:54Speaker 2: and shortly after that happens, another DC metro cop reveals
- 54:59Speaker 2: that another thing they found in that warehouse a bunch
- 55:02Speaker 2: of books about mind control. So now it's like, what
- 55:05Speaker 2: the fuck is this?
- 55:06Speaker 1: Is this DC Kopp a whistleblower?
- 55:09Speaker 2: No, that's one of the weird and kind of unfortunate
- 55:13Speaker 2: things that you get to later in this is there's
- 55:16Speaker 2: these couple of cops who are like, yeah, we found
- 55:18Speaker 2: all this like possible child porn shit, we found stuff
- 55:22Speaker 2: about buying kids, we found mind controlled books. And then
- 55:25Speaker 2: at one point all that evidence disappears. They turn it
- 55:29Speaker 2: over to I think h DC Police, Yeah, and eventually
- 55:34Speaker 2: DC Police are like, there's none of that in the
- 55:37Speaker 2: evidence you gave us. Yeah. And that was Ramon Martinez
- 55:40Speaker 2: who turned all that evidence over yeah, and was like,
- 55:43Speaker 2: all right, I'm trusting you to take this and do
- 55:46Speaker 2: the right thing with it. And then when he went
- 55:48Speaker 2: back to access it later, they were like, what, We've
- 55:52Speaker 2: never heard of any of that, which that's strange as fuck.
- 55:58Speaker 2: All of the incriminating evidence just goes away.
- 56:02Speaker 1: Then you saw it, he saw it himself, right, it
- 56:04Speaker 1: was in his hands, and now it doesn't exist.
- 56:06Speaker 2: And a the next day, a Virginia investigator with knowledge
- 56:11Speaker 2: of the group. This is the part where Mary and
- 56:13Speaker 2: Petty finally comes into the story. There's this Virginia cop
- 56:19Speaker 2: who has some familiarity with the finders and he's like, hey,
- 56:25Speaker 2: if you get too close to Mary and Petty, he
- 56:27Speaker 2: is going to go to Andrews Air Force Base and
- 56:31Speaker 2: get on a military plane and fly to China. And
- 56:35Speaker 2: I feel like that was that investigator being like, all right,
- 56:39Speaker 2: let me say that again slowly, he's going to get
- 56:42Speaker 2: on a military plane and fly to China. And wow,
- 56:48Speaker 2: which you have access to a military plane.
- 56:52Speaker 1: And I'd like to also point out that a piece
- 56:54Speaker 1: of evidence found in the truck was a Chinese dictionary.
- 56:58Speaker 2: Chinese to English dictionary. Also, one of the girls, the
- 57:03Speaker 2: girl who could communicate, when she was interviewed by police,
- 57:07Speaker 2: claimed a Chinese man who she only knew as Chinese man,
- 57:11Speaker 2: way to be racist. Kid taught her to count to
- 57:15Speaker 2: ten in Chinese, and then she counted to ten in
- 57:18Speaker 2: Chinese for this cop. And after all of that, all
- 57:22Speaker 2: of this evidence and speculation and suggestion that these people
- 57:27Speaker 2: are taking kids to and from other countries for possibly
- 57:32Speaker 2: unsavory purposes, the investigation gets shut down. It is determined
- 57:37Speaker 2: that no laws are broken, no federal laws, no state laws,
- 57:42Speaker 2: no children have been abused, and the investigation just gets
- 57:45Speaker 2: shut down.
- 57:46Speaker 1: And in the article they soften the language significantly from
- 57:50Speaker 1: the cult, and.
- 57:53Speaker 2: They describe these people as living an alternative lifestyle. And
- 57:59Speaker 2: there's even a whole expert who is interviewed and is like,
- 58:02Speaker 2: these people aren't a cult, They're just they're trying to
- 58:05Speaker 2: help people. They're liberally they're described as liberals all the time,
- 58:08Speaker 2: they're described as women who want to help people, And
- 58:12Speaker 2: it's like.
- 58:12Speaker 1: Uh, you sure, I mean, what happened to all the
- 58:16Speaker 1: other you know, the evidence in the contrary you know, yeah,
- 58:20Speaker 1: what about the dirty kids?
- 58:21Speaker 2: The dirty kids, the fact that they were only eating
- 58:24Speaker 2: raw fruits and vegetables, the fact that most of them
- 58:28Speaker 2: didn't know what indoor plumbing or electricity was, like the
- 58:31Speaker 2: bug bites. It's like, there's so many documented things that happened,
- 58:36Speaker 2: and then this investigation just got shut down and for
- 58:39Speaker 2: the longest time that's kind of where the story ended.
- 58:43Speaker 2: And then these FBI files come out at the end
- 58:46Speaker 2: of October or end of last month. Yeah, and oh man,
- 58:51Speaker 2: there is so much more to this fucking story. Uh.
- 58:56Speaker 2: For one thing, it picks up again in nineteen ninety three, Yeah,
- 59:00Speaker 2: which will be the next episode of this where the
- 59:03Speaker 2: investigation starts all over again and again just sort of
- 59:09Speaker 2: goes nowhere. But these FBI documents, they reveal a lot
- 59:14Speaker 2: of crazy things about just this time period. And the
- 59:19Speaker 2: thing about what we said earlier about this having some
- 59:23Speaker 2: Pizzagate vibes to it. One of the things that this
- 59:27Speaker 2: is in the fucking official FBI documents. There is a
- 59:30Speaker 2: drawing of this fucking building in the FBI documents. One
- 59:35Speaker 2: of the things that they turned up, or one of
- 59:38Speaker 2: the things they found in that initial raid. Back in
- 59:41Speaker 2: eighty seven, a preschool tied to the group was discovered
- 59:45Speaker 2: in the DC area. It had two tunnels, one of
- 59:48Speaker 2: them extending all the way to the front yard of
- 59:51Speaker 2: the triplex next door, which the finders also owned. The
- 59:56Speaker 2: entrance to the tunnel in that front yard was obscured
- 59:58Speaker 2: from public view by a three car garage. A hole
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: was discovered in the bathroom floor of one of the
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: apartments that possibly connected with those tunnels in the preschool
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: next door, but it had since been filled in. And
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: that school was outfitted with a fire alarm system that
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: could be triggered by any of a series of light switches,
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: but the alarm did not connect to the local fire department.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: It was just an internal alarm, like as if it
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: was like shit's going down. Run yeah, hit those fucking tunnels,
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: go to the triplex, leave through the front yard. Red
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: flags galore, And when the police were finally able to
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: talk to more of these kids, they all described going
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: in and out of a tunnel entrance that was exactly
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: where the police found it. So that feels like some
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: satanic panic shit like that feels like a preschool set
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: up solely for ritualistic shit.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: Well, you're doing something with the kids.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: You're definitely doing some that's not with the regular school.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: They also found a small white plastic plate with three
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: pentagrams on it in the dirt near the children's play area.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: There's the Satan Satan ritual stuff, and then.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: There's the pictures. There are pictures of these kids we
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: mentioned earlier, like slaughtering goats and blood letting ceremonies. And
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: one of the moms eventually shows up and testifies about that,
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: and this is what she said. This is the ship
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: that gets this investigation shut down and they determine everything's normal.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: This is verbatim from the FBI files. The pictures of
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: the children with slaughter goats was not a ritual sacrifice,
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: but rather an attempt at a hands on experience. One mother,
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: who wasn't sure that the ordeal was necessary or that
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: she approved. She indicated that only the three men were
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: present at the time, thought that the experience was well intentioned,
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: as it as a experience for the children to learn.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: She likened the slaughter to that of what is done
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: in conventional biology classes. Several mothers indicated that the robes
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: being worn by the men were actually sheets the men
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: wore during the slaughter to protect their clothing. The slaughter
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: of the two goats on the Virginia farm was at
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: the end of the summer and the goats couldn't be
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: left there alive. The meat from the goats was taken
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: back to Washington, d C. To the group where they
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: ate the meat. The children had the experience to see
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: where a meat comes from, an experience that most children
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: don't get while they are growing up. I don't fucking
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: believe that.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Well, especially if the goats were initially pets, Right, that's
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: traumatizing and like.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: What does the goats were problematic or the goats were troublesome,
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: Like what does that mean? Like they just like became
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: a burden, because then that does imply well, they used
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: to be pets, and so we had the kids kill
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: those pets. And it's like, that's not a hands on experience,
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: that's not normal. You're doing something fucking weird.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's it's some people would say it's murder. Yeah,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: animal abuse, and they ate the meat, or they say
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: they ate the meat, but there's no way.
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: To track that. And it's happening at a time when
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: all of the country is up in arms about satanic
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: abuse at fucking daycares.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: And now there's this fucking guarantor.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: Police investigation with all these fucking tunnels and warning systems
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: and tunnels that lead to an escape next door in a.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Fire alarm that's only internal, not collected, connected to any department,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: like local fire department. That's crazy. That is, it's a
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: very suspect, it's super suspectus to say the least.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: But by far the craziest detail to come out of
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: that FBI file. I mean, this isn't the craziest, but
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: the revelation that as far back as nineteen eighty seven,
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: which was a few days after the Tallahassee incident, there
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: was already talk of the Finders having some sort of
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: connection to the CIA. The files you mentioned that start
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: in ninety three. I think they open by saying we
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: want the Department of Justice to open an inquiry into
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: whether United States intelligence used the Finders as part of
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: a global sex trafficking scheme.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: Yeah, there is some finger pointing at at That's why
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: I was asking you earlier, is this internal is one
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: group looking at another and there's always sort of this.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: I wouldn't call it, maybe a competition between FBI and
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: was it CIA?
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: It was CIA, That's what That's what happened. Like one
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: of the documents from nineteen eighty seven that is most interesting,
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: this one that talks about CIA involvement. One of the
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: customs agents managed to talk to the CIA, and I
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: think it was Ramon Martinez, and he talks to the
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: CIA and and they tell him that this woman who
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: worked at the CIA was also a member of the Finders.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: And it just so happened that in her last couple
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: of years with the CIA, which also overlap with her
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: years in the Finders, she traveled to Moscow, North Korea,
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: and North Vietnam. This is between sixty nine and seventy one,
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: when we were fucking at war in Vietnam. And the
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: customs agent is like, like this is in his report.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: He says to the CIA agent, Well, you know, only
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: you could have arranged that, like no American could get
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: to Yeah you can't just yeah, you can't just go
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: to North Vietnam when we're at war with North Vietnam,
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: Like only you could have arranged that.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Yeah, Delta's not flying in there, and the CIA.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: Was like yeah, huh and and just like left it
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: at that, like they they kind of like stonewalled, and
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: we're like, yeah, someone like we knew about this group, Uh,
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: someone related to us traveled to these countries on their behalf.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: What of it? What are you going to do about it?
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: And the answer was nothing Like this, The investigation in
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: nineteen eighty seven gets fucking shut down and it's determined
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: that no crimes were committed.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: So it was a very short lived investigation.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: It lasted like a week. I think like it took
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: like seven to ten days for between all of this
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: evidence of a potentially global child trafficking ring to be uncovered.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: We went from that in like the span of seven
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: to ten days to going it's nothing, don't worry about it.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: And we don't know what happened to these two men
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: that were found in help.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: I think they they were arrested and they they went
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: on trial. I think they eventually like were convicted of
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: like misdemeanor child abuse or something, but nothing that major.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: And one of the I think the will end on
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: this because the nineteen ninety three stuff is a whole
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: other episode.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Well it resurfaces, yeah, you think, just pops right back up.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: And so it's like, well, what happened then, and really
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: what happened last month? Where it's back again?
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: Right? And I found a thing that I haven't seen mentioned.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: I'll save it for the next episode, but I haven't
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: seen it mentioned in any of these articles, in any
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: of these documentaries, And I'm gonna dig into it more
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: because I don't I don't even I'm not one hundred
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: percent sure what I'm seeing. But we know this eighty
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: seven investigation happens. We know it pops up again in
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: ninety three. And when it pops up again in ninety three,
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: the finders are like the people who are responsible for
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: speaking for them are like, we've never been associated with
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: the government, Like why Like this is like our leader.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: He fucking tells stories, he's the game caller and the like.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: There's a lot of emphasis I think, on humor in
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: sort of bending their practices. It's like, well, we like
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: to have fun, and we're funny. This is supposed to
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: be funny. I can see how it's not funny to you,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: but like it's supposed to be funny, and like, you know,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: as comedians, I'm like, I'm still trying to figure out
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: how what they were doing.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: Is funny, right, And one of the first things that
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: comes up in the I actually tweeted a screenshot of this.
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: If you go out to my Twitter, you'll see it.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: It's a screenshot of the end of Ramon Martinez's report,
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: which we'll talk about in detail in the nineteen ninety
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: three episode. But he's like, basically, I think the CIA
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: was using the Finders to distribute misinformation, like as a
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: means of distributing information, and all these ninety three investigations happen,
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: and the Finders are like, nah, we've never been associated
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: with the government at all. Well in researching this yesterday,
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: and I need to like look into it more to
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: know exactly what it is. But the founder of the
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: Finders is on a nineteen ninety one congressional directory and
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: it's a The section he's in is a section about
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: approved media sources and approved media outlets. So on the
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: one hand, you have this guy saying, Hey, the CIA
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: is using this fucking sex cult to distribute information of
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: some sort, and on the other side to them, I
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: don't know, like he doesn't, Yeah, he doesn't specify, doesn't specify.
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: And then on the other side you have the CIA
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: and the finders being like, nah, there was never any
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: relationship there. And then right in the middle of that,
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: you have the founder of this group on a fucking
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: congressional directory of approved media outlets and reporters Like, mister petty,
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: how does he get from being investigated for possible child
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: sex trafficking in eighty seven to the gu god damn
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: congressional directory in nineteen ninety one, That is what I
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: want to find out and look into on the next episode.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: Sounds like he has a lot of friends in high places.
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: It sure does. And speaking of that, the last line
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: from the document that brought brought up CIA involvement in
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: nineteen eighty seven. This could explain a lot about the
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: group's funding, which we have been unable to document to
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: this point. So despite all the shit they found in
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: this investigation in eighty seven, nothing saying where they're getting
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: the money to jet set around the world and own
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: all these properties, Where is that money coming from? Yeah?
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean who knows and trace the money? It
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: might be some like funny business, you know. But and
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: if you're not, if you're you know, if you're able
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: to get away with that, no one's saying anything.
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: Yeah in it it feels like this is another thing
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: where we all think about the Satanic panic now and
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: laugh about it because a lot of it was crazy.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: But also did the CIA start that in case we
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: ever found out about this, so they could be like,
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: come on, that's satanic panic shit, get the fuck out
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: of here, And it's like, yeah, it is. But also
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: there's pictures, man, Yeah, we got the receipts, there's FBI documents.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: There's a connection between the two and I mean his wife,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: mister Petty, I don't remember his first name, but that
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: petty dude.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: His wife Marian. I think I was calling him Morgan
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: for a lot of guess, but I think it's Marion.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: His wife and son you said were high up there.
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: They're involved in the CIA, and this is a like,
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: this is a group that's tied in like a lot
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: of their beliefs are New Age beliefs, which we've talked
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: about before, yeah, as being possibly like a satanic thing,
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: And it's like I don't know what to believe anymore,
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: Like what's happening in the fucking world.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I'm always curious as to how organized
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: everything is. Yeah, you know, it's because everyone has their
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: own motives, but how organized are these are these powerful people,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: powerful entities?
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's like you clearly, like you obviously have
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: to be very organized to pull off a global trafficking ring.
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: But we know those things happen, Like, we know there
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: are organizations out there doing it.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: My cousin was telling me in Texas, in Dallas, there
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: was a woman whose kid was just snatched right from her,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: just snatched and pulled into a car.
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: I saw a surveillance video. I think this was in California,
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: but a woman was at the store with her child
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: and the front door of the store was like just
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: a little propped open, and this guy just fucking reached
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: in and grabbed her daughter and tried to run, and
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: like they caught him and beat the shit out of him.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: But that's pretty fucking brazen, And so.
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: What did they get any information from him?
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: I mean, you know, I guess the assumption is just
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: he was, you know, a bad dude who wanted to
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: snatch a kid.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: But it's just like someone like that you know, if
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: they are tied to a larger organization that can be
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: access to a lot of information, right, you know, And
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: it's just like, I feel like that's something you have
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: to look into if you're just randomly snatching kids.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: Yeah, and that this like there will be so many
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: more episodes about this. I cannot believe I've found. I
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: don't want to say I feel like there's another thing
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: I found that I feel like no one has addressed
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: when it comes to this theory that I also want
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: to talk about on the next episode. I also found
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: a book written by one of the followers of this
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: dude about the game. It's called The Game Caller. Where
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: did you find the book on fucking Google Books?
