- 0:16Speaker 2: drop this today.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Twenty five things.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Yeah, facts, it's gonna be a it's gonna be a
- 0:21Speaker 2: good one.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Man, can feel there in my plug.
- 0:25Speaker 4: In my bone, baby dad Quincy. Welcome to niece and
- 0:28Speaker 4: nephew on Yeah, welcome to niece.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Man, that's what's up.
- 0:33Speaker 5: Congrat well she she came in on New Year's Day actually.
- 0:36Speaker 1: So yeah, you're just getting back now too.
- 0:39Speaker 5: Right, five minutes ago I walked in the door.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Everything we'll find though it was.
- 0:45Speaker 5: A little you know, it was a few little complications
- 0:47Speaker 5: as far as just the whole situation, but you know,
- 0:51Speaker 5: the nursing staff of their thing, and you know, everything
- 0:54Speaker 5: was as optimal as it could be in the situation.
- 0:57Speaker 5: Like you know, when they did the surgery, it was
- 0:59Speaker 5: very minimal. More bleeding, which we were very concerned about,
- 1:02Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying. So like everything was was good.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Nice, Yeah, that's good to hear.
- 1:09Speaker 2: I know yesterday it was a little more touch and go,
- 1:13Speaker 2: and then everything kind of did what it needed to
- 1:16Speaker 2: do and went smooth and y'all welcome, welcomed the beautiful
- 1:20Speaker 2: little baby.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Congratulations.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Man, that's a dope way to start the new year
- 1:24Speaker 2: for sure.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Yes, sir, that's a crazy birthday. Everybody to count down
- 1:27Speaker 4: the new year and countdown.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Happy birthday to right right right, Yeah, it's crazy. It's
- 1:32Speaker 3: pretty dope.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:34Speaker 2: And it was like around around two am, right, so
- 1:36Speaker 2: it was like close close to New Year's.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Like, yeah, basically, I mean it really would have been.
- 1:41Speaker 5: She she would have been the first child born in
- 1:45Speaker 5: that hospital on this year, but they pushed back a.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Few surgeries, you know what I mean.
- 1:51Speaker 5: Well, they were waiting on me to get there, and
- 1:53Speaker 5: so they put a few surgeries before her.
- 1:56Speaker 1: But she was she would have been the first.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Baby had I just you know, already been there or whatever.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Yeah, that's dope that you were able to be there
- 2:04Speaker 1: for that though.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Yeah, it's nice that y'all are in the same spot.
- 2:08Speaker 1: You know, your grandma was able to pull up.
- 2:10Speaker 5: Yeah, this was the first time, man, you know what
- 2:12Speaker 5: I'm saying that I was able to be there for
- 2:15Speaker 5: the birth.
- 2:15Speaker 3: That one of my nieces and nephews.
- 2:16Speaker 5: So it was a it was a dope experience, and
- 2:19Speaker 5: like I've never actually, I think only once in my
- 2:22Speaker 5: life I've been there for anyone's birth, you know what
- 2:24Speaker 5: I mean. Like I've always met the baby like a
- 2:26Speaker 5: few days later or whatever. But like this was like, nah, bro,
- 2:29Speaker 5: Like she's fresh out, Like they're cleaning her.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Up right now, you know what I mean?
- 2:32Speaker 1: Yeah, that's cool.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Would you guys do Leicester.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Brouh? They woke me up by my sleep. I was
- 2:41Speaker 2: delirious New Year's bro. I know, we counted it down
- 2:46Speaker 2: and we all hugged and kissing and everything.
- 2:48Speaker 1: And I think I just went back to sleep.
- 2:49Speaker 3: I was out of it.
- 2:50Speaker 6: Bro.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Yeah, but we're not big on New Year's anyway. Like
- 2:54Speaker 2: for whatever reason, I don't like being out on the
- 2:57Speaker 2: road either, because it's just like a bad time to
- 2:59Speaker 2: be driving stuff. We usually stay home, so we really
- 3:04Speaker 2: ain't doing nothing like that. Yeah, what about you, Joe?
- 3:10Speaker 3: Uh? No, same.
- 3:11Speaker 4: I had dinner with my parents around five thirty, and
- 3:16Speaker 4: then my wife is just chilled all night here cut
- 3:18Speaker 4: it down and then knocked out right after midnight.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Nice. It's just kind of random.
- 3:23Speaker 2: But you know, we always be talking about call of
- 3:25Speaker 2: duty and stuff. A lot of people have been like
- 3:27Speaker 2: not playing because the New war Zone is like a
- 3:31Speaker 2: lot of bugs and it's hard to get in a
- 3:33Speaker 2: good game sometimes a lot of hackers and stuff. So
- 3:37Speaker 2: I've been playing Fortnite with my kids. They've been like
- 3:41Speaker 2: begging me to play, and then I.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Was like forget.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I was like, all right, bro, let's do it again,
- 3:44Speaker 2: because I always tried different times with them and I
- 3:47Speaker 2: always ended up deleting the game and then redownloading it.
- 3:51Speaker 2: But we played a few times and actually it's been
- 3:53Speaker 2: pretty dope. We've been playing like the zero build mode. Yeah,
- 3:56Speaker 2: and you know, I'm just they like playing me because
- 4:00Speaker 2: I'm coming with the call of duty vibe, so like
- 4:03Speaker 2: I'm getting a lot of.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Kills and stuff.
- 4:04Speaker 2: But the thing that's messing me up is like they
- 4:06Speaker 2: got like a sword in the game that makes you
- 4:09Speaker 2: mad agile, and like you could just get stabbed up
- 4:13Speaker 2: close quarters. And I was just there with my gun
- 4:15Speaker 2: and then all of a sudden, this dude pulled up
- 4:17Speaker 2: with the sword and just slice and dice me up.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I didn't even know what happened, bro. And then my
- 4:21Speaker 1: son was like.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, there's a sword in this game, and it
- 4:24Speaker 2: makes you jump farther and then you can destroy people
- 4:27Speaker 2: in close combats like dang. I didn't even know that
- 4:29Speaker 2: was like an element in this thing. But it's been
- 4:32Speaker 2: super dope. Man, it's a pretty cool game. I've been
- 4:35Speaker 2: going to keep playing it more often.
- 4:37Speaker 3: I've always wanted to play the note building mode.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Yeah's dope. I would definitely recommend it. We should definitely
- 4:43Speaker 2: run some squads that. It's like a like a big
- 4:47Speaker 2: map mode. It's not a resurgence. So, like what I
- 4:51Speaker 2: was doing with the kids is my son had a
- 4:54Speaker 2: cyber truck in the game, and we would just get
- 4:57Speaker 2: in the cyber truck and just yeah, literally a cyber truck.
- 5:02Speaker 2: We'll just get in the cyber truck, pulled up to
- 5:03Speaker 2: where where anybody's shooting at and just kill that team
- 5:07Speaker 2: and then get back in the cyber truck go to
- 5:08Speaker 2: where you know what I mean.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Like we were just going around the map. It was fun. Man,
- 5:13Speaker 1: it was a dope game.
- 5:15Speaker 3: People. Yeah.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Man, they definitely need to fix that war Zone thing though.
- 5:19Speaker 5: Man, yeah, it's great. I was just talking to someone
- 5:23Speaker 5: the other day. I was like, man, you still be
- 5:25Speaker 5: on what's the second Destiny? Yeah, Destiny? Because I was like, bro,
- 5:29Speaker 5: Warzone is not it right now.
- 5:31Speaker 3: It's frustrating. It's actually very frustrating.
- 5:33Speaker 5: Because like, you have a great game, why do you
- 5:35Speaker 5: keep reinventing the wheel when you don't have.
- 5:39Speaker 2: To just yeah, you already had everybody hooked like we're
- 5:42Speaker 2: even doing right now. We was playing the game like
- 5:45Speaker 2: you didn't have to change anything.
- 5:48Speaker 1: It doesn't make any sense.
- 5:49Speaker 3: It's crazy now. Yeah, fact, every time I play that
- 5:52Speaker 3: member why I stopped playing.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Yeah, bro, it's definitely rough.
- 5:56Speaker 2: It's like you don't get that many good games, and
- 5:58Speaker 2: that's what makes people just not want to play at all. Right,
- 6:03Speaker 2: But man, a lot of the gaming stuff is just
- 6:06Speaker 2: kind of going down the toilet. I feel like with
- 6:09Speaker 2: the pandemic and like how much of a boom it
- 6:12Speaker 2: was in it was like a crazy like you know
- 6:14Speaker 2: how it is anytime something is booming, they like over
- 6:16Speaker 2: exploited and try to like suck it dry. Heyo, And
- 6:20Speaker 2: then it's like you have to do like a course
- 6:22Speaker 2: correction for what you did wrong during the boom, you
- 6:25Speaker 2: know what I mean?
- 6:26Speaker 5: Right Well, Bungee is coming out with a new game,
- 6:29Speaker 5: which I'm pretty yeah, I see how that's going to be.
- 6:32Speaker 5: It's called Marathon, So I'm very interested to see how
- 6:35Speaker 5: that's going to be because always about it. I don't
- 6:38Speaker 5: know too much about it. I just know I like Bungee,
- 6:40Speaker 5: you know what I mean. Yeah, yeah, Halo they made Destiny.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Destiny was a good game and online was dope too.
- 6:47Speaker 5: Facts it still is low key, like I still like
- 6:50Speaker 5: play it. Like you know, y'all don't play so you
- 6:53Speaker 5: know I've been on duty or whatever with y'all, but
- 6:56Speaker 5: you know, randomly saw Destiny.
- 6:57Speaker 2: You can do like story modes online, right, like exactly
- 7:00Speaker 2: like Open World.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I'll be down to run some Destiny like that back
- 7:05Speaker 1: in the day.
- 7:05Speaker 4: Yeah, me too, my boys mechanics ibout it downloaded?
- 7:12Speaker 1: Was I gonna say? Oh?
- 7:12Speaker 2: And then the other thing is I heard that the
- 7:14Speaker 2: new Call of Duty that's next. They're gonna be like
- 7:17Speaker 2: walking on the walls again and stuff. I'm like, bro,
- 7:19Speaker 2: I'm not I'm definitely signing off for that one. I'll
- 7:23Speaker 2: wait until they come back regular, you know, with just
- 7:27Speaker 2: running and walking. I remember one time they had one
- 7:31Speaker 2: that it was like you had like powers and you
- 7:34Speaker 2: was like kind of like half flying and stuff.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I played that one like one time and I was like,
- 7:39Speaker 1: I'm good on this.
- 7:40Speaker 2: I'll catch you out next time.
- 7:43Speaker 3: That was too much.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Yeah, LOWKEI.
- 7:46Speaker 2: The ones that I always like the most are the
- 7:48Speaker 2: like World War two, World War one, Civil War, like
- 7:51Speaker 2: all those old ones. Yeah, those are low key the
- 7:54Speaker 2: ones that always like them. Yeah, exactly, like muskets, more
- 7:58Speaker 2: simple guns like not so many attacks, patchments, Like I
- 8:01Speaker 2: just like that vibe, Like it just feels.
- 8:04Speaker 1: More like a shooter like that the shooters you grew
- 8:06Speaker 1: up on, you know what I mean.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Like it's just like like same, like thinking about Halo, Bro,
- 8:10Speaker 2: Like Halo was skilled, bro, like you was not. You
- 8:14Speaker 2: was not just lucking your way into some Halo kills
- 8:18Speaker 2: or wins or whatever.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Like it was straight headshots. You had to be a
- 8:21Speaker 1: skilled shooter.
- 8:22Speaker 2: If you wasn't shooting, you had to know if he
- 8:24Speaker 2: wasn't shooting, well, you had to know how to use
- 8:26Speaker 2: the equipment and stuff well to like get the kills
- 8:28Speaker 2: and stuff like that was.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Like that was a game, bro.
- 8:30Speaker 5: Imagine going back fifteen however many years it's been down
- 8:34Speaker 5: twenty years and saying, yo, we'll never get a game
- 8:37Speaker 5: as good as this, like bro game was fired.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Yeah, I remember, man, we Halo as well, Like I said,
- 8:44Speaker 4: started our or my video game multiplayer journey we pull
- 8:48Speaker 4: up in the living room for controllers.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Facts. Even playing on split screen, we still loved it.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Yeah, Bro.
- 8:54Speaker 2: We used to have the Insane Land parties and one
- 8:56Speaker 2: worth Bro Facts.
- 8:57Speaker 1: In a four hundred square the apartment for real Bro.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Yeah, there was times that we had four xboxes, four
- 9:05Speaker 2: people per xbox.
- 9:07Speaker 1: We had sixteen people in that thing.
- 9:09Speaker 3: One small ass living room in different corners.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Yeah, literally, Bro, it was crazy. But those were the
- 9:15Speaker 1: epic gaming.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Nights though, Facts Sat Remember Swat Yeah, Facts Swat was
- 9:22Speaker 2: that one.
- 9:22Speaker 6: Bro.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Yeah, man, great times, great times. Facts.
- 9:28Speaker 4: So yallo, how y'all looking up for the new year?
- 9:31Speaker 4: You guys got goals? Any big things playing anything? Looking
- 9:34Speaker 4: forward to?
- 9:36Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 9:36Speaker 2: Man, I'm actually in the middle of like a mini
- 9:39Speaker 2: renovation slash upgrade of my studio.
- 9:42Speaker 1: That's even like those panels I got in the back.
- 9:45Speaker 1: There's like a stack of panels there that I got
- 9:47Speaker 1: to put up. But I'm waiting for some of the
- 9:49Speaker 1: other stuff to come in tomorrow.
- 9:51Speaker 2: But just getting some like a subwlfer for my system here,
- 9:57Speaker 2: getting uh, some stuff for the for just sound quality
- 10:01Speaker 2: as far as my recording goes, better treatment in here,
- 10:04Speaker 2: getting the room just how it needs to be, in
- 10:07Speaker 2: the equipment how it needs to be. To just be
- 10:09Speaker 2: a little more self sufficient this year with the music
- 10:12Speaker 2: and be able to just drop on my.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Own as much as I can like and as much
- 10:16Speaker 1: as I want.
- 10:17Speaker 2: But that's definitely a big goal for me this year,
- 10:19Speaker 2: like not having any kind of hold up as far
- 10:22Speaker 2: as like putting together or releasing music, you know what
- 10:24Speaker 2: I mean. It's been something I've been kind of building
- 10:27Speaker 2: to and I feel like now this year, I'm getting
- 10:29Speaker 2: to the point where like I can actually do it,
- 10:31Speaker 2: where I can put out a lot of high quality
- 10:33Speaker 2: stuff from the studio and really you know, be putting
- 10:39Speaker 2: out a quality output, you know what I mean.
- 10:43Speaker 4: Yeah, And it's a really good at how it is
- 10:46Speaker 4: how it sounds right now. So it's just improving on
- 10:48Speaker 4: that to even yeah facts and sound even better.
- 10:50Speaker 2: And a lot of my issues that I'm having here
- 10:53Speaker 2: is really just my sound is not true in the
- 10:56Speaker 2: studio because my room is not how it's supposed to
- 10:59Speaker 2: be as far as this treatment as far as the
- 11:01Speaker 2: equipment that I have in here. So those upgrades that
- 11:04Speaker 2: I'm doing is really like attacking that so I can
- 11:07Speaker 2: really be invested the right way in here and be
- 11:10Speaker 2: able to get things done and you know, like I said,
- 11:13Speaker 2: just in a top quality, top notch studio output. That's
- 11:18Speaker 2: like it sounds like whatever else you're hearing, but I'm
- 11:22Speaker 2: producing it here. You know, I'm super excited for that.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Man.
- 11:26Speaker 2: I've always it's always been a goal of mine to
- 11:29Speaker 2: be able to make music from A to Z and
- 11:33Speaker 2: just put it together the way that the idea is
- 11:35Speaker 2: coming to me.
- 11:37Speaker 1: So to be able to do that like on the regular.
- 11:40Speaker 2: And my goal really is I want to drop a
- 11:43Speaker 2: project like from here, like not something crazy, just an EP,
- 11:46Speaker 2: you know, three to five songs, yeah, all from the Crib.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Probably dropped like three of them, you know, three weeks
- 11:54Speaker 2: in a row, and then drop the project like with
- 11:56Speaker 2: the two that I didn't drop yet.
- 11:58Speaker 4: Yeah, and you're gonna use some You're going to all
- 12:00Speaker 4: new tracks. Are gonna use some of the ones you
- 12:02Speaker 4: already get all new stuff.
- 12:03Speaker 2: It's gonna be just stuff that I'm doing here with
- 12:05Speaker 2: a new setup that I have, you know what I mean.
- 12:08Speaker 2: You got so you know, the production thing has been
- 12:11Speaker 2: progressing well and I've been having a lot of fun
- 12:13Speaker 2: with that. Produced a few tracks for the Homie Taoh
- 12:18Speaker 2: that he was really rocking with that.
- 12:19Speaker 1: He's been showing to a lot of.
- 12:20Speaker 2: People and getting great feedback on He recorded some content
- 12:24Speaker 2: to one of them and he's getting ready to drop
- 12:27Speaker 2: that too, So I'm excited to see how that goes.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Hoping to produce some tracks for Quincy this year.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Been working shout out to Jordani Man, he's been pulling
- 12:36Speaker 2: up Quincy linked me up with him.
- 12:38Speaker 1: It's one of Quincy's homies, and we've just been.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Cooking up, working on beats, just collaborating on a creative tip.
- 12:45Speaker 2: So that's been dope, and that's something that's gonna be
- 12:49Speaker 2: dope to continue into the year. You know, just keep
- 12:52Speaker 2: tapping into those collaborations and just I'm trying to output
- 12:56Speaker 2: as much as I can, you know. I mean that's
- 12:57Speaker 2: always my goal every year, but this year, yeah, I'm
- 13:00Speaker 2: really poised to do it in a way where it's
- 13:02Speaker 2: like I don't have no limits.
- 13:03Speaker 1: You know what I mean.
- 13:05Speaker 3: That's a good look.
- 13:07Speaker 1: What about you know you've been exploring the DJ and stuff.
- 13:10Speaker 4: Yeah, man, Yeah, yesterday I fucking I streamed on Instagram live.
- 13:16Speaker 4: I mixed for like like two or three hours, but
- 13:18Speaker 4: it kept cutting my live off because I guess Instagram
- 13:21Speaker 4: monitors it, so the music rights yeah yeah yeah, so
- 13:24Speaker 4: they kept cutting it off, so I'm gonna do it
- 13:26Speaker 4: on YouTube. I figured out what I need. I need
- 13:28Speaker 4: some two pieces of software and I got to get
- 13:33Speaker 4: the scarlet solo I have at my work office. Second,
- 13:38Speaker 4: have an output to the phone in the output to
- 13:40Speaker 4: the speakers in my room.
- 13:42Speaker 1: You should look up kick too.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:44Speaker 4: The stream to stream yeah yeah, yeah, it's a it's
- 13:47Speaker 4: a piece of office free software. And I could pick
- 13:49Speaker 4: where I want to stream too, from YouTube, Instagram, Kick Twitch,
- 13:53Speaker 4: all at the same time from my phone, and then
- 13:56Speaker 4: I got the straight line input to my phone for
- 14:00Speaker 4: the audio so it sounds super clear. So that that's
- 14:03Speaker 4: my next project for next week.
- 14:05Speaker 3: I want to do this a sap.
- 14:06Speaker 4: I don't want to lack on it, man, I'm really
- 14:09Speaker 4: excited to Just.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Like Jordannie was talking about some events and stuff too,
- 14:12Speaker 2: So that would be nice if we did like a
- 14:14Speaker 2: little collaboration with you guys, like an event company. Yeah,
- 14:18Speaker 2: and you know, if we did something like that for
- 14:20Speaker 2: the show, that'll be super dope.
- 14:21Speaker 1: For real.
- 14:22Speaker 4: I'm trying That's exactly what I'm trying to do, man,
- 14:24Speaker 4: like actually do stuff with it and not just be
- 14:27Speaker 4: a living room DJ my whole life.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel that definitely ain't no shame in the
- 14:34Speaker 2: living room DJ life.
- 14:35Speaker 1: If that's what you you rocking with, Oh yeah, that's
- 14:38Speaker 1: what I definitely feel.
- 14:39Speaker 2: You though, putting your sound out there, and really, I mean,
- 14:42Speaker 2: at the end of the day, that's what DJ is about,
- 14:44Speaker 2: you know what I mean, to DJ for the people
- 14:46Speaker 2: be out there. Maybe you're not trying to make a
- 14:47Speaker 2: living off of but you're actually doing what DJing is about,
- 14:50Speaker 2: you know, like putting on good vibes, putting together good events,
- 14:54Speaker 2: you know what I mean.
- 14:54Speaker 4: Like I totally after we got back from dinner, I
- 14:59Speaker 4: was like, I'm gonna to play music all night, and
- 15:03Speaker 4: she was like okay. And then we got it was
- 15:04Speaker 4: like eight o'clock and I started to blasting the music
- 15:07Speaker 4: and she's like, you're really gonna play for four hours straight?
- 15:09Speaker 4: I said, I'm playing all night. I literally DJ the
- 15:13Speaker 4: whole night here, and but some of it was good,
- 15:16Speaker 4: Like it kept us away, it kept us the energy high.
- 15:18Speaker 3: I kept us all the way to the to midnight.
- 15:20Speaker 3: You know, so we didn't Yeah, we was.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Cooked like ten thirty, bro.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I wouldn't have been the same if I were
- 15:24Speaker 3: sitting on the couch.
- 15:27Speaker 4: Yeah, bro, But yeah, it's like it's just it's the energy,
- 15:30Speaker 4: Like it's the energy. And then some some of the
- 15:33Speaker 4: mixes I was doing, She's like all right, all right.
- 15:35Speaker 4: I was like, right, imagine I played shit in front
- 15:37Speaker 4: of everybody. So it's it's something that I just I
- 15:41Speaker 4: just want people to hear good music, good energy.
- 15:45Speaker 3: That's all. That's the main reason I want to get
- 15:47Speaker 3: into this.
- 15:48Speaker 2: What about you, Quincy, what you looking forward to this
- 15:51Speaker 2: year and what you're trying to get into man I.
- 15:55Speaker 5: You know, I think about six or seven weeks ago,
- 15:58Speaker 5: man I had like I don't know, like a revelation
- 16:01Speaker 5: or something, and I just kind of been really focused
- 16:04Speaker 5: on like good habits that can you hear me from, Yeah, okay,
- 16:08Speaker 5: on good habits that are you know, kind of helping
- 16:11Speaker 5: me physically, spiritually, mentally, creatively, professionally. Like I've just been
- 16:17Speaker 5: really locked in and shout out to this app. It's
- 16:19Speaker 5: called Streaks, and it's like basically an app to kind
- 16:24Speaker 5: of like keep you on track with your good habits. Like,
- 16:27Speaker 5: you know, one of my biggest flaws is my consistency
- 16:30Speaker 5: you know, I'll get into something and then like you know,
- 16:34Speaker 5: weeks to go by or whatever, and I'll fall off.
- 16:36Speaker 5: But you know, this app has really kind of kept
- 16:38Speaker 5: me locked in and so, like, you know, also, this
- 16:42Speaker 5: year was my first year celebrating Kwansa, which was super
- 16:45Speaker 5: super dope for you know, just for my spiritual.
- 16:50Speaker 3: You know, gains, and like one of the days.
- 16:53Speaker 5: I basically created a vision board for the year, and
- 16:56Speaker 5: so you know, through that vision board, I was able
- 16:59Speaker 5: to really kind of like draw out like how I
- 17:01Speaker 5: want this next year to go. And so, you know,
- 17:03Speaker 5: I have a few different things that I want to
- 17:06Speaker 5: kind of tackle professionally. You know, obviously I mentioned the
- 17:09Speaker 5: project with Okay, Peter, you know what I mean, that's
- 17:11Speaker 5: already kind of in the works right now, you know,
- 17:15Speaker 5: a certification that I want to attain by the end
- 17:17Speaker 5: of the year. And then I also want to be
- 17:21Speaker 5: consistent with journaling, you know what I mean. That was
- 17:24Speaker 5: something that I always liked doing because it helped me
- 17:27Speaker 5: kind of organize my thoughts, but I was never consistent
- 17:29Speaker 5: with it. And so like I said, man, this app,
- 17:32Speaker 5: the streets app, really has helped me kind of like
- 17:34Speaker 5: just stay on top of stuff. Because the platform itself,
- 17:38Speaker 5: one is integrated with all of my devices, so I
- 17:40Speaker 5: see it everywhere. But two it's just super simply designed
- 17:46Speaker 5: so that I don't forget, you know what I mean.
- 17:49Speaker 5: It's a very nice visual tool, and so you know,
- 17:52Speaker 5: that's really kept me locked in. I think I want
- 17:54Speaker 5: like day forty of consistently studying Spanish, you know what
- 17:57Speaker 5: I mean. That's one of my goals this year.
- 18:00Speaker 3: That's how you was making.
- 18:04Speaker 5: So you know what I mean, It's just I'm really
- 18:06Speaker 5: just trying to I think that's my big thing for
- 18:07Speaker 5: this year is just consistency, man, really just locking in
- 18:11Speaker 5: on my goals and being consistent with the intention of
- 18:14Speaker 5: what I'm doing. So yeah, man, I'm very excited about
- 18:17Speaker 5: this upcoming year man for real.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Yeah man, I definitely feel the extra battery in my back.
- 18:23Speaker 2: This year, like last year, was kind of like a
- 18:25Speaker 2: down year. Just we already knew it going in as
- 18:29Speaker 2: far as my family goes, just with like investing in
- 18:31Speaker 2: the business and stuff like that, so we already knew
- 18:34Speaker 2: we weren't gonna have as much like discretionary funds as
- 18:37Speaker 2: usual because it was all going into the business.
- 18:41Speaker 1: But everything started turning around in the last few.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Months, Like you know, we're getting to the end of
- 18:47Speaker 2: one of like the main loan that we have for
- 18:49Speaker 2: the business. It's like one or two more payments and
- 18:52Speaker 2: that's going to be a nice load off, and just
- 18:54Speaker 2: in general, it's going to be.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Really a really good year, you know what I mean.
- 19:00Speaker 2: But it's crazy, man, because like things were swinging up
- 19:03Speaker 2: and then like literally Christmas night, Bro, our family dog
- 19:07Speaker 2: passed away.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Like I know you guys know, but Bro.
- 19:12Speaker 2: I haven't like I haven't been able to like do
- 19:14Speaker 2: anything like since then.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Like I've just been like super like just depressed dog.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Like he was with me like all the time, like
- 19:22Speaker 2: y'all know already, but for the people that don't know,
- 19:24Speaker 2: Like he was with me in the studio, he was
- 19:27Speaker 2: with me at the shop, like he would come.
- 19:29Speaker 1: With us to the nail salon, you know what I mean.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Like he was with us twenty four to seven, Bro,
- 19:35Speaker 2: And it was like super unexpected.
- 19:37Speaker 1: And it's Christmas night, you know what I mean.
- 19:39Speaker 2: He had been sick a few days before that, so
- 19:41Speaker 2: it was already kind of like a damper on our season,
- 19:43Speaker 2: you know what I mean, And then like we just
- 19:46Speaker 2: couldn't believe it. Happened, you know what I mean, And
- 19:47Speaker 2: it was like super rough for us. It was like
- 19:50Speaker 2: I never cried that hard in my life, Bro. I
- 19:52Speaker 2: was surprised with how like mucha hit me, Bro, Like
- 19:55Speaker 2: it was really. I mean, it's still tough, you know,
- 19:56Speaker 2: but at least these past couple of days, I've been
- 19:59Speaker 2: able to like talk about it without like crying and
- 20:01Speaker 2: stuff like that. So that's been like an improvement, you know.
- 20:06Speaker 2: But in a weird way, it's like it like it
- 20:10Speaker 2: like almost want to like go even harder to like
- 20:15Speaker 2: kind of in a weird way, like show my dog
- 20:17Speaker 2: like that, like we're gonna be okay without him, you
- 20:21Speaker 2: know what I mean, because we leaned on him so much,
- 20:23Speaker 2: like for love, you know what I mean. Like he
- 20:25Speaker 2: was always there when any of us were sick or
- 20:27Speaker 2: feeling down or anything. Like he just was one of
- 20:29Speaker 2: them dogs that had that sense, you know what I mean.
- 20:31Speaker 1: He would go to whoever needed it, you know what
- 20:33Speaker 1: I mean.
- 20:34Speaker 2: So it's like not having that it's like really hard
- 20:37Speaker 2: to adjust to. Like he would have been eleven today,
- 20:39Speaker 2: like today's New Year's he was born on New Year's
- 20:42Speaker 2: twenty fourteen, you know what I.
- 20:43Speaker 3: Mean, A long good life's sure.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:46Speaker 2: So you know, it's like a weird, weird vibe in
- 20:49Speaker 2: the house and it's been like super tough, and even
- 20:52Speaker 2: like the studio stuff, I'm like coinciding it with him,
- 20:55Speaker 2: Like let me kind of do a refreshing here, you know,
- 20:59Speaker 2: because this was know that couch right there on that
- 21:01Speaker 2: spot right back there, that's where he used to be
- 21:03Speaker 2: all the time. I used to jokingly ask him his
- 21:05Speaker 2: opinion on stuff, you know what I mean, I'll be
- 21:07Speaker 2: cooking up something.
- 21:08Speaker 1: I'd be like, how that sound fluff? You look at
- 21:10Speaker 1: me like I'm a nut, Like, bro, you know, I'm
- 21:12Speaker 1: just in here vibing. You know, I'm not here for
- 21:14Speaker 1: the smoke and the vibes.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Hell yeah, bro.
- 21:18Speaker 2: So you know I definitely need a refreshing here because
- 21:22Speaker 2: of that, like I associated so much.
- 21:24Speaker 1: With him, you know what i mean, like being in
- 21:25Speaker 1: here with him.
- 21:27Speaker 2: So once I'm done with the refurbishments, if you will,
- 21:32Speaker 2: first piece of music I'm making, I'm dedicating it to him,
- 21:36Speaker 2: you know what I mean. It might not be something
- 21:37Speaker 2: I dropped right away, or maybe I never drop.
- 21:40Speaker 1: I don't know what I'm gonna do with it, but
- 21:41Speaker 1: I know that.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I owe him that much, you know what I mean, Like,
- 21:44Speaker 2: definitely gotta gotta let that out in that form, man,
- 21:49Speaker 2: especially from my studio Buddy Man, So shout out to
- 21:54Speaker 2: fluff Man, rest in peace.
- 21:56Speaker 1: We're definitely never gonna be the same man.
- 21:58Speaker 2: That's That's something about the pet dog that you feeling
- 22:02Speaker 2: that love and then feeling that loss.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Bro, Like it's crazy, Like a lot.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Of people be kind of like making fun of it
- 22:10Speaker 2: when they never experienced it.
- 22:11Speaker 1: You know what I mean. This is my first dog, Bro.
- 22:14Speaker 2: It was a crazy experience, man, and we're still going
- 22:17Speaker 2: through it. But you know, I'm just happy that I'm
- 22:21Speaker 2: able to talk about him today. I'm happy that we
- 22:23Speaker 2: had the experience because he was, like y'all know, Bro,
- 22:26Speaker 2: he was like a magical little dog. Man was so
- 22:30Speaker 2: you know, rest in peace to Fluff.
- 22:33Speaker 1: I'm looking at you.
- 22:34Speaker 4: Always saw him every single time in the shop or
- 22:37Speaker 4: the house anyway.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Yeah, that was my man, Bro, that was my little
- 22:42Speaker 2: man dog.
- 22:43Speaker 1: It was it's hard to get used to.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Brother.
- 22:46Speaker 2: The first day I went in my car after it happened,
- 22:48Speaker 2: I looked back in the back seat, seen his hair
- 22:50Speaker 2: on the back seat.
- 22:51Speaker 3: Bro.
- 22:51Speaker 2: I lost it so bad. I had to pull over
- 22:53Speaker 2: like I couldn't even drive, Bro, it was crazy.
- 22:56Speaker 3: That's a scary price.
- 22:57Speaker 4: The first every time we think about getting a dog,
- 22:59Speaker 4: the first thing we think about is the day the
- 23:01Speaker 4: dog goes. And I'm like, bruh, that's scary. You know,
- 23:05Speaker 4: you got you gotta live with that, you know what
- 23:07Speaker 4: I mean? Yeah, exactly, That's just.
- 23:11Speaker 2: It's a cruel It's a cruel thing, man, It's a
- 23:13Speaker 2: cruel thing. It's like crazy how that works.
- 23:16Speaker 6: Bro.
- 23:17Speaker 2: It's just like it really lets you know, like how
- 23:20Speaker 2: much like something magical and like beautiful like that.
- 23:24Speaker 1: It really is so fleeting, you know what I mean.
- 23:26Speaker 2: It's like things like that don't last, you know, even
- 23:29Speaker 2: like when you're in them, like super you know, euphoric
- 23:34Speaker 2: times in your life.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Bro, It's never like a long extended period, you know
- 23:37Speaker 1: what I mean.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Like it's something so special and so rare that it
- 23:41Speaker 2: like comes and goes, you know.
- 23:43Speaker 4: And No, I was in the state. Do you think
- 23:47Speaker 4: you would ever consider getting a new dog again?
- 23:50Speaker 2: I mean the way I'm feeling now, know, And honestly,
- 23:52Speaker 2: I feel like later on even though because Bro, he
- 23:56Speaker 2: didn't bark, he was always chilling, I mean, and he
- 24:00Speaker 2: was he was the perfect dog. I cannot I literally
- 24:03Speaker 2: can't imagine getting a dog that would be even half
- 24:07Speaker 2: as school as Fluff was. You know what I mean, Like,
- 24:09Speaker 2: if I get a dog that barks, I'll be like, what.
- 24:11Speaker 1: The heck is this thing doing? You know what I mean?
- 24:13Speaker 1: Because he imagines like that's my first dog.
- 24:15Speaker 2: And he didn't even bark bro like, he just he
- 24:17Speaker 2: only barked when somebody knocked on the door or if
- 24:19Speaker 2: there was movement outside the house.
- 24:21Speaker 1: So he was literally perfect, you know what I mean. Yeah,
- 24:25Speaker 1: he was barking.
- 24:25Speaker 2: It was like, okay, something, you know, somebody's near, maybe
- 24:28Speaker 2: there's an animal outside, or somebody knocked or something, or
- 24:31Speaker 2: delivery guy.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Came, you know what I mean.
- 24:34Speaker 3: So yeah, definitely, I will say.
- 24:37Speaker 5: Man, you called me as I was on my way
- 24:39Speaker 5: home from the hospital, and I feel like I knew
- 24:43Speaker 5: fluffs birthday was today, But one, I'm so delirious, I'm
- 24:46Speaker 5: on like forty five minutes of sleep, but in two
- 24:49Speaker 5: you know, it was just a crazy night period. But
- 24:53Speaker 5: you know, I was just really thinking about it when
- 24:55Speaker 5: we hung up, because you was telling me how you
- 24:57Speaker 5: know you wanted to do this episode today because that,
- 25:00Speaker 5: and I was like, man, that's so insane, like you know,
- 25:04Speaker 5: with his birth and death date falling on such major.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Holidays, you know.
- 25:08Speaker 5: And then I thought about it more and I was like,
- 25:11Speaker 5: you know, most people will look at that like, you know,
- 25:13Speaker 5: like a bad thing. But then you know, I look
- 25:15Speaker 5: at you and your family, and it's like, y'all want
- 25:17Speaker 5: of the tightest knit families that I know, you know
- 25:20Speaker 5: what I'm saying. Yeah, And so like for me, I
- 25:21Speaker 5: see it like almost like it's beautiful, you know what
- 25:24Speaker 5: I mean, from the standpoint of like you know, every year,
- 25:27Speaker 5: like you get you all get to like spend like
- 25:29Speaker 5: these holidays kind of you know, reminiscent about fluff. And
- 25:33Speaker 5: obviously in the beginning it'll be tougher, but as time passes,
- 25:36Speaker 5: I think it'll turn into something that will make that bund.
- 25:38Speaker 1: No, we're definitely already on that wave.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Like we already talked about doing a dog theme Christmas
- 25:43Speaker 2: tree next year, you know what I mean, Like we're
- 25:45Speaker 2: gonna dedicate the season to him, for sure. Yeah, there's
- 25:48Speaker 2: like even even letting ourselves be down in those times
- 25:53Speaker 2: because of it, it would be a disservice to him,
- 25:55Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Like, that's not what he
- 25:57Speaker 2: was about at all.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Bro. You know what I mean, he would not want
- 25:59Speaker 1: to see nobody soaking or none of that. You know,
- 26:02Speaker 1: he don't like that.
- 26:03Speaker 3: M h. That's good. That's good.
- 26:05Speaker 4: Like I said, you gotta you gotta go through it,
- 26:07Speaker 4: not just try to get over it.
- 26:08Speaker 3: Man. I think you guys did it the right way.
- 26:11Speaker 4: Keep his keep him president at all times, keep his
- 26:14Speaker 4: memory present, keep all you know, just keep talking about him,
- 26:16Speaker 4: and that makes it easier to process and easier to
- 26:21Speaker 4: bring him up as much as you can.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Now.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, for sure, man, He's he was a special dog,
- 26:26Speaker 2: so he definitely can't be forgotten. I'm not gonna I'm
- 26:29Speaker 2: not gonna bury I'm not gonna bury him in my mind, Bro,
- 26:32Speaker 2: that's for sure man.
- 26:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Sure, but yeah, Bro, I'm glad we were able to
- 26:37Speaker 2: do this today that it worked out, because, like I said,
- 26:40Speaker 2: it was important to me to be able to, you know,
- 26:43Speaker 2: shine the light on Fluff on his birthday and you know,
- 26:47Speaker 2: start you know, getting through it. Because Bro, shout out
- 26:53Speaker 2: to anybody that's ever lost a dog, Bro, because this
- 26:56Speaker 2: is the worst thing I've ever gone through in my
- 26:59Speaker 2: life life, and I'm not ready. I'm not a person
- 27:02Speaker 2: that's had a very light life, I'll tell you that much.
- 27:05Speaker 2: I definitely have a lot of terrible memories and this
- 27:09Speaker 2: might be the one that takes the cake.
- 27:12Speaker 3: This sucks bad, bro.
- 27:14Speaker 4: I'm not ready bad pets, but I never had to
- 27:17Speaker 4: lose them like that, so I'm not ready, yeah, man,
- 27:21Speaker 4: but it's going to be.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Part of it because Yeah.
- 27:23Speaker 2: On a better note, man, congratulations Quincy and congratiate sister.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Man. That's a super blessing to start the year with.
- 27:31Speaker 2: I just I honestly feel like this year is going
- 27:33Speaker 2: to be a really good year, man, So shout out
- 27:36Speaker 2: to everybody.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Man.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Just yo, let's let's hit it the right way a yo.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 27:42Speaker 5: And you know the dopest thing about it, bro, was
- 27:44Speaker 5: that she named her after my mom.
- 27:45Speaker 3: You know what I mean? I saw that. Yeah, she
- 27:47Speaker 3: gave her mom's.
- 27:48Speaker 5: Little name, and she gave her my last name. Me
- 27:51Speaker 5: and my sister don't have the same last name. She
- 27:54Speaker 5: gave her her last that's yeah, bro, So that was dope.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Nice man, that's a nice a nice uh note to
- 28:03Speaker 2: end it off, phone, There's.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Always always a way to stay better.
- 29:13Speaker 6: Put pusty.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Not not a.
- 29:49Speaker 6: Pusty not not put pusty, not not pusty, not not
- 30:59Speaker 6: at it. After a
