- 2:34Speaker 1: before we get into this recap, I have to ask you, Beatrice,
- 2:37Speaker 1: whether you have any takeaways. After watching the last two
- 2:40Speaker 1: episodes of Welcome to Platfill.
- 2:42Speaker 2: I just think kim Plath has some motherfucking audacity to
- 2:48Speaker 2: try and manufacture this like victim thing of like nobody
- 2:55Speaker 2: checked on me after my dear why Barry won't give
- 2:59Speaker 2: me a dime of his money? I'm like, girl, please,
- 3:03Speaker 2: you were in a new build house, you got an
- 3:06Speaker 2: Apple Watch, You've got your ballet studio, you're profiting off
- 3:10Speaker 2: of TLC, you're profiting off of probably your airbnbs and
- 3:13Speaker 2: shit like miss me with this.
- 3:16Speaker 1: It's called Shoden Friday something like that. It's just like
- 3:21Speaker 1: when we take just a little bit of pleasure when
- 3:24Speaker 1: somebody kind of fucks around and then finds out. We
- 3:27Speaker 1: get to see it and we really are in the
- 3:29Speaker 1: finding out era her camp Plas and I love it too,
- 3:33Speaker 1: and we'll talk about it when we get there. But
- 3:35Speaker 1: like just the hubris of this woman, she truly is
- 3:38Speaker 1: a narcissist. One, she truly is a narcissist.
- 3:42Speaker 2: YEP.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Now, I have like three separate takeaways to let me
- 3:44Speaker 1: just choose one. Okay, I'm gonna choose a controversial one.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Which is that I thought Olivia handled herself with grace
- 3:55Speaker 1: and an appropriate measure of caution when facetiming with Veronica,
- 4:01Speaker 1: like we had talked the last time we met about whether,
- 4:05Speaker 1: like Olivia would be opportunistic and try to trash the
- 4:08Speaker 1: plaths and you know, do underhanded kind of stuff, and
- 4:12Speaker 1: she totally could do that, and I understand why she
- 4:15Speaker 1: might do that, but I loved to see that instead
- 4:18Speaker 1: she kind of was a bit more reserved. It didn't
- 4:20Speaker 1: feel to me like she really trusts Veronica, nor should she,
- 4:24Speaker 1: in my opin, like she doesn't know who this woman
- 4:26Speaker 1: really is. And I thought she handled herself very well.
- 4:30Speaker 1: That was my opinion. I was like, oh my gosh,
- 4:32Speaker 1: it was actually kind of nice to see Olivia.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Don't come at me, Bro, I won't come at you.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Don't come at me, Bro.
- 4:39Speaker 2: I mean, I would totally agree with you that she
- 4:41Speaker 2: handled herself with like caution, like she was being careful
- 4:45Speaker 2: with what she's saying. I do give you that. I
- 4:47Speaker 2: don't know if it was there was any grace, though.
- 4:49Speaker 2: I think she's playing the field because on the Instagram
- 4:53Speaker 2: and the tiktoks and shit, she is talking mad smack. Still, Yes,
- 4:58Speaker 2: oh still every episode she out with some video being like,
- 5:01Speaker 2: oh my god, they're still talking about me though, and
- 5:03Speaker 2: then she'll like say some bullshit about what happened with
- 5:06Speaker 2: the Plaths and how they're all evil and blah blah blah.
- 5:09Speaker 2: So she'll go on her own little thing and like, again,
- 5:12Speaker 2: there might be some truth to some of that shit,
- 5:14Speaker 2: but I think some of it is a little bit embellished.
- 5:17Speaker 2: But that's my opinion on Olivia. I'll give you.
- 5:20Speaker 1: That, okay. And I just thought though that Veronica, in
- 5:24Speaker 1: what we saw, like kept opening doors inviting Olivia into
- 5:29Speaker 1: talk mad shit about the Plaths, and Olivia did not
- 5:32Speaker 1: do that, agreed. I mean, and Olivia is doing that,
- 5:34Speaker 1: and Olivia has done that, so she knows how to
- 5:36Speaker 1: do that. She doesn't need Veronica to sort of lure
- 5:39Speaker 1: her into this super shady moment, which I call into question.
- 5:43Speaker 1: So I just thought Olivia handled herself very well.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Yeah, she was very careful. Yeah, I will give you that.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Yes, So that was my takeaway. Let us know if
- 5:51Speaker 1: you're watching on YouTube in the comments, what's your general
- 5:55Speaker 1: impression of the season so far and the cast of characters,
- 5:58Speaker 1: or if you're on Instagram, dm our girl, Beatrice, she
- 6:01Speaker 1: loves to hear for pole. Yeah, all right, without any
- 6:03Speaker 1: further ado, let's get into our recap of the last
- 6:06Speaker 1: two episodes. Take it away, Beatrice.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Well, we'll start with episode two. We'll just get like
- 6:10Speaker 2: a brief rundown.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:12Speaker 2: We started with Veronica facetiming Olivia, which was kind of interesting.
- 6:17Speaker 2: I guess it was like the first time they've really
- 6:19Speaker 2: like talked in person allegedly.
- 6:22Speaker 1: But before we did that, and I know we weren't
- 6:25Speaker 1: going to really talk about it because it's kind of
- 6:26Speaker 1: a nothing burger scene. There was the scene with Mariah
- 6:29Speaker 1: and Ethan out to lunch, and I just want to
- 6:32Speaker 1: mention it to comment about Mariah and how depressed Mariah
- 6:39Speaker 1: seems like, how actually alarmingly depressed and morose. She came
- 6:46Speaker 1: across while Ethan is sitting there talking to her, and
- 6:48Speaker 1: of course they discuss Veronica and everything that's going on.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And I think this is during the time where she's
- 6:55Speaker 1: actually progressively losing all of her hair yea, which she
- 6:59Speaker 1: did last year, So I I think she's wearing a
- 7:00Speaker 1: wig here and I think she's very insecure. She just
- 7:03Speaker 1: seemed I was worried, actually, and I'm worried about Mica too.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I'm like, Micah's the light in his eyes is also gone.
- 7:11Speaker 1: But I was in this scene, I was concerned for
- 7:14Speaker 1: Mariah because she seems really adrift, really lost, And I
- 7:17Speaker 1: just wanted to say that before we get to the
- 7:19Speaker 1: Veronica and Olivia park.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Well, and I mean, in this week's episode, in episode three,
- 7:24Speaker 2: Ethan says he talks about that to Veronica and Micah,
- 7:28Speaker 2: about how like Mariah's ruined her life, like she's completely
- 7:32Speaker 2: went off the deep end. She's like definitely paying the
- 7:34Speaker 2: price for her actions last year after the concert with
- 7:37Speaker 2: going back with mister Potato Head and then breaking up
- 7:40Speaker 2: with them, and then having to move back in with Barry,
- 7:42Speaker 2: And like I think Ethan was kind of alluding to,
- 7:44Speaker 2: like how she's got all these really terrible tattoos and
- 7:49Speaker 2: dyed her hair black and everything, like she's going through it.
- 7:52Speaker 2: She's in like her emo phase, like she's.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I think it's more than like a teenage emo phase.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I think it's like a mental health crisis.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Bit I'm still emao.
- 8:01Speaker 1: I mean, I do these people go to conventional doctors?
- 8:04Speaker 2: No?
- 8:04Speaker 1: Do they seek treatment? Do they seek help when they
- 8:09Speaker 1: need it? Is she in therapy. I'm just I'm just
- 8:11Speaker 1: a little concerned.
- 8:12Speaker 2: I'm worried about her too. Yeah, I'm definitely worried about Mariah.
- 8:15Speaker 2: And I think she needs therapy, like bad because if
- 8:18Speaker 2: because she has talked about with like her alopecia, like
- 8:20Speaker 2: she loses her hair because of stress, and I'm like, damn,
- 8:23Speaker 2: you've lost it all again. What's going on? Like We're
- 8:26Speaker 2: probably not gonna see much of it. I don't know,
- 8:28Speaker 2: maybe we will this season, Like we haven't seen much
- 8:30Speaker 2: of her yet. It's been three episodes. We've only seen
- 8:33Speaker 2: like little blurbs here and there, and then Veronica talking
- 8:36Speaker 2: mad shit about her being really fucking mean and nasty
- 8:39Speaker 2: about it. I'm over it. I feel bad for Mariah too,
- 8:42Speaker 2: so I aree So.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I mean, she doesn't appear in any other scenes in
- 8:45Speaker 1: the two episodes that we're talking about, So I just
- 8:47Speaker 1: wanted to get that in there, that we need to
- 8:49Speaker 1: send up the flare for a little Mariah. Yes she's cringe,
- 8:52Speaker 1: Yes she's done things that are ridiculous, but there's something
- 8:55Speaker 1: wrong with Mariah.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Yes, I agree. And then when we get to Veronica
- 8:59Speaker 2: talking to Olivia, this was kind of like weird because
- 9:02Speaker 2: I think Olivia is trying to do what she did
- 9:05Speaker 2: with Mariah back in the day, where she's acting like
- 9:08Speaker 2: this mentor and like trying to guide her through like yeah,
- 9:10Speaker 2: I've been there, done that, Like I'm here if you
- 9:12Speaker 2: want to talk. But I feel like there's a little
- 9:14Speaker 2: bit of an ulterior motive on Olivia's part in siding
- 9:18Speaker 2: with Veronica or like even entertaining Veronica, because Veronica, in
- 9:22Speaker 2: my opinion, is just out here for drama. Like I mean,
- 9:25Speaker 2: she is just talking crap about literally everybody in the family.
- 9:29Speaker 2: It's kind of crazy how she's just changed from last
- 9:34Speaker 2: season to this season. Last season, she was so reserved
- 9:37Speaker 2: and then this season. I don't know, what did you
- 9:39Speaker 2: think about the whole conversation with her and Olivia.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I just felt that Veronica was trying to have a
- 9:46Speaker 1: mean girl moment looking for an ally, and I don't
- 9:50Speaker 1: think Olivia gave that to her. Again, I think that
- 9:52Speaker 1: she was pretty gracious and she was like, I am
- 9:54Speaker 1: here for you, and I get it we have this
- 9:56Speaker 1: sort of shared experience, but she didn't really indulge Verna
- 10:00Speaker 1: to the degree that she really wanted to talk crap
- 10:02Speaker 1: about the Plaths and we see her do it again
- 10:05Speaker 1: in the next episode when she meets Teagan. It's like,
- 10:07Speaker 1: so totally inappropriate, And the thing is like, you do
- 10:10Speaker 1: yourself damage because the message that you're coming with Veronica,
- 10:13Speaker 1: like what you're trying to say is discredited by the
- 10:17Speaker 1: way that you're saying it and what you are doing
- 10:20Speaker 1: and is coming off all wrong. And I just in
- 10:23Speaker 1: my mind, it just felt like Olivia had a sense
- 10:26Speaker 1: of that a little bit and probably asked herself like,
- 10:29Speaker 1: but aren't you currently still dating Mica, Like aren't you
- 10:33Speaker 1: guys in a loving relationship? Like why would you be
- 10:36Speaker 1: making this call unless you wanted to be getting into
- 10:40Speaker 1: some shady stuff, And she's probably She's probably like, I
- 10:42Speaker 1: got out of that, Yeah, so I don't really want
- 10:44Speaker 1: to be a part of that anymore.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Maybe it kind of seems like that with Olivia. She
- 10:48Speaker 2: seems like she's got like Mary Brown like walls up
- 10:51Speaker 2: a little bit with Veronica. But it's it's Veronica's just
- 10:56Speaker 2: weird to me because I'm like, you're talking all this shit.
- 10:59Speaker 2: I understand wanting to team up with Olivia because you
- 11:02Speaker 2: guys have had similar like experiences, I guess, and you're
- 11:05Speaker 2: both you both have had relationships with Plath boys that
- 11:09Speaker 2: were not good and not healthy in any way, shape
- 11:12Speaker 2: or form. And so I can understand like having some camaraderie,
- 11:16Speaker 2: but the secretiveness on Veronica's part.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Why would you do that? Would you ever do that
- 11:21Speaker 1: to your wife?
- 11:21Speaker 2: No, not at all.
- 11:22Speaker 1: I would never do that to my husband. If you
- 11:24Speaker 1: hadn't have an enemy, I would never FaceTime his enemy.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's the thing. It's like, there doesn't need
- 11:30Speaker 2: to be this level of shadiness, Like I don't know,
- 11:32Speaker 2: it's just.
- 11:32Speaker 1: She's producing herself. She really has become conscious to the cameras,
- 11:36Speaker 1: which I thought she didn't want to be in her
- 11:38Speaker 1: home and be in my life, but now she's like
- 11:40Speaker 1: trying to use and weaponize the cameras in order to
- 11:43Speaker 1: embarrass all these Plaths.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Well, and then you're in the comments sections, like constantly
- 11:48Speaker 2: constant everywhere, like across Reddit and Instagram everything. It's like
- 11:52Speaker 2: insane how much she comments on stuff. And she's saying
- 11:55Speaker 2: that her and Olivia are like BFFs now they're like
- 11:58Speaker 2: really close, but she's very quick to say I think
- 12:01Speaker 2: I sent you comment section on Reddit that her and
- 12:04Speaker 2: Olivia both don't like Teagan don't want her to be
- 12:08Speaker 2: friends with them.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Has Olivia ever met Teagan?
- 12:10Speaker 2: I don't know, but that's according to Veronica.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I highly doubt Olivia has met physically been in the
- 12:16Speaker 1: comput Why would that means, Olivia, you're judging Teagan just
- 12:20Speaker 1: like so many other people out here have judged you,
- 12:23Speaker 1: And I would ask is that really fair?
- 12:25Speaker 2: Exactly, It's not. No. And then moving on, we have
- 12:29Speaker 2: Kim Girl, and we start off with her talking about
- 12:33Speaker 2: because she's got a part time hostess job girl, the
- 12:37Speaker 2: same restaurant that Lydia and Mariah work at. And then
- 12:42Speaker 2: we talk about her fucking Dui bitch, which I'm surprised
- 12:46Speaker 2: we even acknowledged.
- 12:47Speaker 1: And I had to wonder Beatrice because we were screaming
- 12:50Speaker 1: last season, like, are we really gonna go through an
- 12:53Speaker 1: entire season where all of us understand and know and
- 12:57Speaker 1: and read the article and the arrest report. We all
- 13:00Speaker 1: know that Kim Plath was involved in a duy. She
- 13:04Speaker 1: wrecked her vehicle, she was driving drunk. We all knew it,
- 13:08Speaker 1: and you guys are just going to pretend it didn't happen.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Is that the show we're watching? And that is why
- 13:13Speaker 1: at the end of last season we had decided we're
- 13:15Speaker 1: not going to do this anymore, Like, if you're not
- 13:17Speaker 1: going to tell the truth and share, we're not going
- 13:19Speaker 1: to participate. So it's interesting to me, and that was
- 13:22Speaker 1: going to be my other takeaway. I didn't choose it,
- 13:24Speaker 1: but it's interesting to me that production seems to be
- 13:28Speaker 1: taking such a different tact. I love it with this season,
- 13:32Speaker 1: and it felt to me, what did you guys think,
- 13:35Speaker 1: Like production almost forced Kim to sit down in the chair,
- 13:39Speaker 1: honey and talk about the dui because people out there
- 13:41Speaker 1: are talking about it, and we're not going to watch
- 13:43Speaker 1: our show if you're not authentic.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I think they did, because Kim looked uncomfortable
- 13:48Speaker 2: very much. So the way that she spun it was like,
- 13:51Speaker 2: you know, after me and Barry got divorced, Like I
- 13:54Speaker 2: had a really bad night or I had too much
- 13:56Speaker 2: to drink and I got a dui and then I
- 13:59Speaker 2: couldn't drive for like a year or many months or whatever.
- 14:02Speaker 2: She's like trying to rewrite it to make it sound
- 14:05Speaker 2: less bad than it actually is. But the fact that
- 14:08Speaker 2: she had to say it, I'm glad that she finally
- 14:11Speaker 2: said it and admitted to it. But then motherfucking Kim
- 14:15Speaker 2: plat is, like, you know, but Barry didn't once ask
- 14:19Speaker 2: me if I was okay after my duy. Like we've
- 14:21Speaker 2: been married for twenty five years, you've known me, I
- 14:24Speaker 2: reared all your children. Why didn't you check on me?
- 14:27Speaker 2: And then she starts like tearing up, as if I'm
- 14:29Speaker 2: supposed to fucking feel bad for.
- 14:30Speaker 1: You because you cheated on me. That's why I didn't.
- 14:33Speaker 1: And you left me, and you destroyed our entire family,
- 14:36Speaker 1: and like we had a mission statement like the Browns
- 14:38Speaker 1: and commment ceremony, like we had a vision for the
- 14:41Speaker 1: family and for our marriage, and you totally detonated that
- 14:44Speaker 1: and you cheated on me. And now you're a drunk too,
- 14:47Speaker 1: embarrassing me because the raccoons know about your duy and
- 14:51Speaker 1: this is embarrassing to me. And you want me to
- 14:53Speaker 1: check in with you, Yeah, you want me to say, Kim,
- 14:55Speaker 1: you're looking a little alcoholic ly lately? Is everything all
- 14:58Speaker 1: right now? I don't care. I'm gonna gave that to
- 15:00Speaker 1: my advantage. I'm gonna take what I can because you
- 15:04Speaker 1: did this, Kim, not me. You.
- 15:06Speaker 2: She's the one that wanted the fucking divorce. She's the
- 15:08Speaker 2: one that initiated it.
- 15:09Speaker 1: All, okay, and let's have the conversation about what happened
- 15:12Speaker 1: to what was his name, the guy Ken Ken? What
- 15:16Speaker 1: happened with Ken? I mean, is are there any rumblings
- 15:20Speaker 1: out there? Is anybody watching on Facebook? Is he with
- 15:23Speaker 1: somebody else? Well, what's going on?
- 15:25Speaker 2: According to Veronica and read it like she's been in
- 15:28Speaker 2: the comments saying that apparently Ken broke up with Kim
- 15:32Speaker 2: once she got like the breathalyzer and stuff in her car,
- 15:35Speaker 2: which I'm just like, that's weird. But like Veronica's made
- 15:38Speaker 2: some like accusations on Reddit saying that it was something
- 15:43Speaker 2: to do with after the DUI that he broke up
- 15:45Speaker 2: with her. But I'm like, we saw him last season
- 15:49Speaker 2: and they seemed fine. So was the trunk duced and
- 15:52Speaker 2: Ella drunk? They seem drunk together, Ella drunk. But yeah,
- 15:55Speaker 2: I don't know he I mean, he must have dumped her.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Ass, which is wild to me because you're thinking thinking
- 16:00Speaker 1: about this woman who is in her fifties, yep, And
- 16:03Speaker 1: it's not that she's not beautiful. She is, and I'm
- 16:05Speaker 1: sure she has her charms and she's like a ballet dancer,
- 16:08Speaker 1: so she's accomplished. But like, she's taking the chance. I
- 16:11Speaker 1: think if I'm just putting myself in her position, she's
- 16:14Speaker 1: taking the chance on this Ken guy, who is Isaac's
- 16:19Speaker 1: aviation instructor. She's having a premarital, not a premierital. She's
- 16:24Speaker 1: having an adulteress affair with this person. She's blowing up
- 16:27Speaker 1: her whole family. She's doing that for Ken, and then
- 16:31Speaker 1: once she gets a DUI, he's just gonna dump her
- 16:34Speaker 1: and leave her hanging well. And now we've got Barry
- 16:39Speaker 1: on the other side of that, being like, yeah, I'm
- 16:41Speaker 1: not gonna rush through to get this divorce. We have
- 16:44Speaker 1: a lot of properties, they make a lot of money,
- 16:46Speaker 1: and you're just not going to get a sweetheart deal
- 16:48Speaker 1: from me because of what you did. And I'm not
- 16:51Speaker 1: gonna move. And she's so she can't believe, she can
- 16:55Speaker 1: that Barry would do this to her, And I'm like,
- 16:57Speaker 1: that Barry would do this to you, that Ken would
- 17:00Speaker 1: do this to you. And now you find yourself fifty
- 17:03Speaker 1: four years old, out here with nothing yet because I
- 17:07Speaker 1: don't think the divorce has even happened yet. No, maybe into.
- 17:11Speaker 2: The season, I think she's still they're still negotiating.
- 17:14Speaker 1: So you're paying for your attorneys on your credit cards.
- 17:18Speaker 1: You are debt financing your entire life. You've got your
- 17:22Speaker 1: your littles fifty percent of the time, but you're expecting
- 17:25Speaker 1: child support. Uh huh, So like you have equal time
- 17:28Speaker 1: and Barry's doing his part, but you still want him
- 17:30Speaker 1: to pay you child support. Now, alimony we can talk about,
- 17:33Speaker 1: and we should. But I'm just like, this must be
- 17:35Speaker 1: hitting her, wow so hard.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Like you said, fuck around and find out, Like, I
- 17:42Speaker 2: don't know what you expected. I kind of wondered, because
- 17:44Speaker 2: when she confronts Barry at her house, yeah, on camera,
- 17:48Speaker 2: of course, which is like so inappropriate.
- 17:50Speaker 1: That's the only way that he'll talk to her. But
- 17:51Speaker 1: she's got to ambush him because otherwise he'll just walk out.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Well, I'm sure his their attorneys are trying to talk
- 17:57Speaker 2: to each other. I'm sure that what's happening. The reason
- 18:00Speaker 2: why they're at an impass is that Kim won't agree
- 18:02Speaker 2: to anything that Barry is suggesting, and Barry won't agree
- 18:05Speaker 2: to anything that she's suggesting. They are at an impass.
- 18:08Speaker 2: They should have a fucking mediator, but no, they choose
- 18:11Speaker 2: to like try and co parent and like try to
- 18:14Speaker 2: give their kids, like the family experience, which is all
- 18:18Speaker 2: well and great, but like Kim, you're not gonna get
- 18:20Speaker 2: everything that you want. You already got your affair, You
- 18:24Speaker 2: already got your ballet studio, You already got your Apple
- 18:27Speaker 2: watch and your bow and your fucking new build rental
- 18:30Speaker 2: that you're in, Like, you already got all of this shit.
- 18:32Speaker 2: You got your divorce that you wanted, you got out
- 18:36Speaker 2: of the marriage with Barry. I know you're still trying
- 18:38Speaker 2: to settle in everything, but like, you don't get to
- 18:39Speaker 2: get everything that you fucking want under this, and then
- 18:43Speaker 2: pressure Barry on camera to talk about the divorce proceedings.
- 18:47Speaker 1: I don't know. If he agrees to something, if it
- 18:50Speaker 1: acquiesces on camera, then she can trot it out during
- 18:54Speaker 1: the trial of some sort and say, but look, he
- 18:56Speaker 1: agreed to do it, like he's not a stupid person exactly,
- 18:59Speaker 1: and you should know that. Yeah, let's talk about the
- 19:03Speaker 1: amount that Kim is owed, not the amount, but like
- 19:05Speaker 1: the fact that Kim is owed half and to me,
- 19:10Speaker 1: it doesn't matter that in the last year of their marriage,
- 19:13Speaker 1: after twenty five years of marriage, she had an indiscretion
- 19:17Speaker 1: and she behaved crazy, like maybe she's menopausal and out
- 19:20Speaker 1: of control. And not medicating herself. I don't know, but
- 19:23Speaker 1: she behaved badly, But that does not to me. It
- 19:27Speaker 1: does not negate the fact that she spent twenty five
- 19:30Speaker 1: years homeschooling these children, staying at home, taking care of
- 19:35Speaker 1: the home, the farm, all the animals, I would assume,
- 19:37Speaker 1: or at least delegating her children to go out and
- 19:40Speaker 1: take care of those animals, sneaking off to the barn
- 19:42Speaker 1: when she had a chance to drink vodka and eat sugar.
- 19:44Speaker 1: But I mean, nonetheless, she was there taking care of
- 19:48Speaker 1: home and hearth while he went out and he worked
- 19:52Speaker 1: and earned a great wage. So you can't tell me
- 19:55Speaker 1: that she is not owed a good chunk, a very
- 19:59Speaker 1: good chunk of whatever it is that Barry is worth
- 20:01Speaker 1: right now that they're worth right now. She deserves it,
- 20:04Speaker 1: She should have it. I think he should settle it
- 20:06Speaker 1: and just walk away and build on his owne from there.
- 20:10Speaker 2: I do think that she's owed half, because that's only fair,
- 20:13Speaker 2: especially since she did not have a career. She did
- 20:16Speaker 2: raise all of these kids for twenty five years. Yes,
- 20:18Speaker 2: but I doubt that Kim is asking for just half.
- 20:21Speaker 2: I bet she's asking for more. That's my opinion. Yeah,
- 20:25Speaker 2: I bet she is asking for more because she feels
- 20:27Speaker 2: entitled to more because she knows how much Barry makes
- 20:31Speaker 2: and knows how much their properties make and everything. And
- 20:34Speaker 2: Barry's like, no, you don't get to have all of
- 20:36Speaker 2: this shit. We can have half. But I don't know.
- 20:39Speaker 2: I'm not trying to make excuses Barry.
- 20:41Speaker 1: No. And Kim says that Barry makes ten times the
- 20:45Speaker 1: amount that she does, and so that must be factoring
- 20:48Speaker 1: in what she makes via TLC. And also it sounds
- 20:53Speaker 1: like she's got an Airbnb or she's got control to
- 20:55Speaker 1: some degree of some of their rentals, so she's making
- 20:58Speaker 1: an income. But whatever that income is is he's still
- 21:00Speaker 1: making ten times that.
- 21:02Speaker 2: That's what Kim is saying, Right, we don't know the
- 21:04Speaker 2: full truth of that. She's also only working a part
- 21:07Speaker 2: time hostess job, like you could try and get a
- 21:10Speaker 2: full time job.
- 21:11Speaker 1: She has schooling, well, but she's.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Schooling and she's what a natural path or something.
- 21:16Speaker 1: She's an Internet natural path. So she did go to
- 21:18Speaker 1: university for six years and never graduated, although she never
- 21:23Speaker 1: sent her own kids to university so they could get
- 21:25Speaker 1: so that they could learn what well endowed meant, they
- 21:29Speaker 1: could learn basic words you ever did that. But yet
- 21:32Speaker 1: she has an education, she could do more. But like
- 21:35Speaker 1: I understand her struggle being in her age, demographically, it
- 21:38Speaker 1: would be hard all of a sudden, Like the man
- 21:40Speaker 1: you thought you were leaving your other man four no
- 21:43Speaker 1: longer wants you. You don't have a job, You're gonna
- 21:45Speaker 1: have to sell off all this stuff. You're not gonna
- 21:47Speaker 1: get what you think you want. Don't fucking feel bad
- 21:49Speaker 1: for her to do, But I really don't. It's just
- 21:51Speaker 1: a stark realization that she is coming into Yes.
- 21:54Speaker 2: And that's all valid and everything, But I still don't
- 21:56Speaker 2: feel bad because I'm like, you broke up your family,
- 21:59Speaker 2: You had a marriage with a man that provided everything
- 22:01Speaker 2: fucking for you, Like, and I know it was Barry, Okay,
- 22:05Speaker 2: I know he's probably terrible. He's probably horrible in bed,
- 22:09Speaker 2: I get it, all right, But like you chose to
- 22:11Speaker 2: destroy your life, you chose to get a DUI like
- 22:14Speaker 2: I don't. I don't feel like.
- 22:15Speaker 1: You could have done it in a way that had
- 22:17Speaker 1: some integrity. Yes, you could have just said like, this
- 22:19Speaker 1: is just not working, then initiated a conscious uncoupling. Yes,
- 22:24Speaker 1: but you didn't. You cheated, You became an alcoholic right,
- 22:27Speaker 1: you destroyed your vehicle in a duy incident and you
- 22:29Speaker 1: ain't shit, no, And Barry knows it and he don't care.
- 22:32Speaker 1: There's just something so beautiful about it. And that's stuff
- 22:35Speaker 1: that I like Barry or anybody else. But it's just
- 22:37Speaker 1: like Kim, you ain't shit, yep.
- 22:39Speaker 2: And that's the thing I want to preface that too,
- 22:41Speaker 2: Like I don't like Barry, like I don't think he's
- 22:43Speaker 2: that great of a guy. He might be trying to
- 22:47Speaker 2: swindle her out of what she's owed in their negotiations.
- 22:51Speaker 2: I don't fucking know. I wish we were privy to that.
- 22:53Speaker 2: I wish we could see the documentation and the coins
- 22:56Speaker 2: and all that. I want to know how much he
- 22:57Speaker 2: actually makes, if he makes ten times more than what
- 23:00Speaker 2: in Black makes, But I don't trust him. Plas's victim
- 23:03Speaker 2: story either, correct. So that's my two cents on that.
- 23:07Speaker 2: And then we have Ethan and the rowdies, which is
- 23:10Speaker 2: like Isaac and some of their other guy friends. And
- 23:13Speaker 2: I think his girlfriend's there, and I think Teagan's there.
- 23:16Speaker 2: They're all maybe she's not, but they're all hanging out
- 23:19Speaker 2: at some cabin or something.
- 23:22Speaker 1: It looked like it was Isaac's home when they're barbecuing
- 23:24Speaker 1: and such.
- 23:25Speaker 2: I don't know if it was his homer. I think
- 23:27Speaker 2: it's I'm staying at a property.
- 23:28Speaker 1: I think that was his home, but I don't think
- 23:30Speaker 1: it matters.
- 23:31Speaker 2: But they're all like hanging out and they're gonna meet Zach,
- 23:35Speaker 2: Lydia's blue friend, and Lydia's bringing him over, and this
- 23:41Speaker 2: scene made me upset for Zach.
- 23:44Speaker 1: I was really upset. I was triggered by this.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Ethan and Isaac are just.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Everybody, Tagan too, and the other two wherever they were,
- 23:53Speaker 1: she was, Teagan was there, but Teagan was there and
- 23:56Speaker 1: she was laughing.
- 23:57Speaker 2: What she laughing at. So all of them were laughing
- 23:59Speaker 2: at Zach, like their first interaction, meeting this guy and
- 24:03Speaker 2: making him feel really uncomfortable, making Lydia feel really uncomfortable.
- 24:07Speaker 2: I felt really bad for them.
- 24:09Speaker 1: I was so chagrined to see this from just people
- 24:14Speaker 1: like I don't have high hopes for Ethan Plath. I
- 24:18Speaker 1: personally don't think he's an emotionally developed person. I just
- 24:22Speaker 1: think that he's broken and I just don't I just
- 24:25Speaker 1: don't know where he gets off making fun of somebody
- 24:29Speaker 1: else for not being socially adjusted or understanding like how
- 24:33Speaker 1: to be a person in the world. Like we met
- 24:36Speaker 1: you when you had never even had a sip of coke.
- 24:39Speaker 1: You did not know how to use an ATM. You
- 24:42Speaker 1: were an absolute, you know, novice to life. And here
- 24:45Speaker 1: we have this guy Zach, who I mean is different
- 24:49Speaker 1: from a duck dynasty over here, Like he's a different person.
- 24:53Speaker 1: But that doesn't mean he's not a kind person. It
- 24:56Speaker 1: doesn't mean he's not a sweet person. It doesn't mean
- 24:58Speaker 1: that Lydia doesn't love him, right, And the way you
- 25:02Speaker 1: call yourself a Christian and this is a shit that
- 25:04Speaker 1: kills me, Beatrice. It's like these Christians that are so
- 25:08Speaker 1: judgmental of people and so willing to other people just
- 25:13Speaker 1: to make them feel separate and apart, when the ultimate
- 25:17Speaker 1: principle of Christianity is to love your neighbor as you
- 25:20Speaker 1: love yourself, right well, to love God first and then
- 25:22Speaker 1: love your neighbor as you love yourself. Yeah, and so
- 25:25Speaker 1: Ethan wants to talk about being a Christian, and everybody
- 25:28Speaker 1: wants to talk about their core values, but like when
- 25:31Speaker 1: it comes time to actually demonstrate that with a young
- 25:34Speaker 1: man who doesn't have a lot of life experience. All
- 25:37Speaker 1: he knows is that he loves your sister. This is
- 25:40Speaker 1: how you treat him. That's bully behavior. It's obnoxious. And
- 25:44Speaker 1: I was so upset for Lydia and for Zach. I
- 25:48Speaker 1: was just like, that is so cringe, dude.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Well and it's so like unfortunate because we see this
- 25:53Speaker 2: scene of them laughing at him, and it's so disgustingly
- 25:57Speaker 2: rude and just inappropriate on all front. But then you
- 26:00Speaker 2: have Ethan in his talking head being like, yeah, well
- 26:02Speaker 2: we were laughing about like some inside jokes and you know,
- 26:06Speaker 2: it probably wasn't the nicest thing, but like whatever, and
- 26:08Speaker 2: it's like, no, not whatever. You were very rude. You
- 26:12Speaker 2: were objectively rude, and maybe you should make an apology
- 26:15Speaker 2: to Lydia and to Zach on camera or at least
- 26:18Speaker 2: and just be like, yeah, sorry, I was an asshole.
- 26:20Speaker 1: I'm just wondering where Ethan gets the hubris and the
- 26:24Speaker 1: audacity to treat somebody else like that, Like he was
- 26:28Speaker 1: so up in arms with how his family treated Olivia
- 26:31Speaker 1: and how his family didn't accept Olivia.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Because Olivia was mad about it.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Well but okay, well we could have that conversation. But
- 26:39Speaker 1: like he was very activated by how Olivia was treated,
- 26:42Speaker 1: and then you're just gonna go two years later and
- 26:45Speaker 1: treat this guy, yeah, in a way that makes him
- 26:48Speaker 1: feel like he doesn't belong and is unwelcome, which is
- 26:51Speaker 1: the same thing that Olivia felt. I was just like,
- 26:54Speaker 1: what do you what are you doing and why are
- 26:56Speaker 1: we doing this? This is a high school not that you'd
- 26:58Speaker 1: know because you didn't go to school, right, dumb, It's
- 27:01Speaker 1: like this is high school mean guy and girl behavior
- 27:05Speaker 1: really unbecoming.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it definitely is. It speaks to how he has
- 27:09Speaker 2: become like a harder edged person after his divorce, and
- 27:13Speaker 2: like not in a good way, like he's he's meaner,
- 27:16Speaker 2: he's bitter, he's a little bit more like outspoken, but
- 27:20Speaker 2: like not in the right ways, like he's just he's
- 27:23Speaker 2: he's hard.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Yeah, he's rude. Yeah.
- 27:25Speaker 2: I didn't like that.
- 27:26Speaker 1: No, I thought it was so bad.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Yeah. And then the final thing that happened in episode two,
- 27:31Speaker 2: which we continue in episode three, was Veronica and Micah
- 27:35Speaker 2: fighting about the family and how Veronica doesn't like the family,
- 27:39Speaker 2: doesn't want to be a part of the family. And
- 27:41Speaker 2: then it comes out that the major grievances that Veronica
- 27:45Speaker 2: has is actually with Micah, because Micah is a cheat NASO.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Yes, and apparently she was in the process of dealing
- 27:55Speaker 1: with Micah's expansive infidelity. It wasn't just one girl, it
- 27:59Speaker 1: was like multi a lot girls and boys just wondering
- 28:05Speaker 1: like multiple partners. So she was dealing with that, which
- 28:08Speaker 1: is deeply traumatic, and at the same time, all the
- 28:11Speaker 1: crap with Mariah was going down, and so I think
- 28:14Speaker 1: that amplifies in her mind and in her body, like
- 28:19Speaker 1: it amplifies the conflict with Mariah because I think she
- 28:25Speaker 1: at this point as we are watching, I think she's
- 28:27Speaker 1: trying not to deal with all of the pain that
- 28:30Speaker 1: she's feeling from Micah, so she's choosing to sort of
- 28:33Speaker 1: pivot and just place it all on Mariah. It's not
- 28:35Speaker 1: that Mariah doesn't deserve some of it or all of
- 28:38Speaker 1: it or whatever, but I just feel like she's displacing
- 28:41Speaker 1: what she's really feeling, which is betrayal because Micah cheated
- 28:45Speaker 1: on her.
- 28:45Speaker 2: I agree, Yeah, and that brings us to episode three,
- 28:50Speaker 2: entitled The Cabin in the Woods. Yeah, and we start
- 28:54Speaker 2: off this episode with actually meeting Ethan's girlfriend Tigan. Yes,
- 28:58Speaker 2: his smoking hot girl friend.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Is what he likes to say I saw her bod,
- 29:02Speaker 1: and I am not above or below commenting on somebody's
- 29:06Speaker 1: bod when it's beautiful and fantastic, and I'm just like, oh.
- 29:09Speaker 2: My gol god. And she's had a kid.
- 29:12Speaker 1: She's a brick house. That woman is stacked. She's pretty.
- 29:19Speaker 1: She seems like a sweet young lady.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Yep.
- 29:22Speaker 1: I was just like, okay, go weave it.
- 29:23Speaker 2: I know for real. So Ethan and Teagan, I guess
- 29:29Speaker 2: met online. They've been dating for about ten ish months
- 29:33Speaker 2: at this point. She's from Wisconsin and he's living in
- 29:36Speaker 2: Minnesota still, and so she was quite the drive for
- 29:40Speaker 2: her and everything. But she made it for Ethan because
- 29:41Speaker 2: she is sprung over him too, just like he sprung
- 29:44Speaker 2: over her.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Well, she slid into his DM.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:47Speaker 1: I said, hey, I like your motorcycle. It's really nice.
- 29:50Speaker 1: He checked out her profile and was like I really
- 29:53Speaker 1: like you. Yeah. So then they started dating.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Yes, And I don't know, I kind of like, I
- 30:00Speaker 2: think she's sweet. And from this initial scene, like they're
- 30:04Speaker 2: driving through kro and he's like showing her like all
- 30:07Speaker 2: of his little spots and everything and reminiscing about his
- 30:09Speaker 2: childhood and he's talking about his relationship with Teagan and
- 30:13Speaker 2: how he really enjoys this relationship because Teagan respects not
- 30:18Speaker 2: only his childhood and like how he was brought up,
- 30:21Speaker 2: but he respects or she respects his family and respects
- 30:25Speaker 2: his relationships with his family, which he says is a
- 30:27Speaker 2: breath of fresh air from Olivia, because Olivia had major
- 30:31Speaker 2: beef with his family and also shot all over his
- 30:33Speaker 2: childhood and shat all over his upbringing, which he's actually
- 30:36Speaker 2: very fond of, which I think is nice. I look,
- 30:41Speaker 2: we can have our comments about his upbringing and how
- 30:44Speaker 2: Kim royally fucked these kids up and did not educate
- 30:47Speaker 2: them and everything, but like if he was happy with it.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, And it's interesting to me that he's claiming
- 30:55Speaker 1: that Olivia shot all over his childhood when Olivia had
- 30:59Speaker 1: much the same childhood. She comes from the same type
- 31:02Speaker 1: of fundamentalism. But she was, obviously when they were together,
- 31:06Speaker 1: in process of deconstructing that and trying to figure out
- 31:09Speaker 1: how she really felt about that, and so maybe in
- 31:11Speaker 1: the process of that ended up villainizing part of his
- 31:15Speaker 1: life and his childhood and his family, and some of
- 31:17Speaker 1: that maybe wasn't even about them, although I think a
- 31:20Speaker 1: lot of it was I think there was a lot
- 31:21Speaker 1: of dysfunction in the Plath family, but I think some
- 31:24Speaker 1: of that was Olivia projecting onto them and him like
- 31:28Speaker 1: what she was trying to work through. So I can
- 31:30Speaker 1: see that Ethan is still traumatized by his relationship with Olivia, yes,
- 31:36Speaker 1: and the divorce, and I think Olivia is also traumatized.
- 31:40Speaker 1: I feel like when he's using it as a contrast
- 31:43Speaker 1: point to his relationship with Teagan, like always referencing back
- 31:46Speaker 1: to how it was with Olivia, Like I loved Tigan
- 31:49Speaker 1: because when I was with Olivia it really sucked. I
- 31:51Speaker 1: feel like that's an indication that he's not necessarily dealing
- 31:55Speaker 1: with what he has come out of and how he
- 31:58Speaker 1: really feels about that, and maybe and I just wonder
- 32:00Speaker 1: to myself, whether there's some substitution that is happening, meaning
- 32:04Speaker 1: he's substituting another person so that he doesn't have to
- 32:08Speaker 1: really sink deeply into everything that he experienced with Olivia,
- 32:13Speaker 1: how that made him feel. And also like the connotations
- 32:17Speaker 1: of Olivia's process and what that might say about him too,
- 32:21Speaker 1: Like that's deep though, that's layers upon layers upon layers.
- 32:24Speaker 1: I don't think Ethan I think he's a cro magnet.
- 32:27Speaker 1: I don't think he has the capacity to even understand
- 32:30Speaker 1: that he should be asking those questions. But I'm just
- 32:32Speaker 1: looking at Teagan, who seems like a beautiful young woman.
- 32:36Speaker 1: She's a mom. I know he was very surprised to
- 32:38Speaker 1: hear she was a single mom, and so I thought
- 32:41Speaker 1: that was so cool though, because she can relate to
- 32:44Speaker 1: kim Plath in a different way, and she also sees
- 32:48Speaker 1: Ethan and his relationship with his parents and family in
- 32:51Speaker 1: a different way that you know, somebody like Olivia couldn't
- 32:54Speaker 1: she didn't have that lived experience. I just think that
- 32:56Speaker 1: this whole thing is so interesting.
- 32:58Speaker 2: I think it's very interesting.
- 33:00Speaker 1: And although we don't like a lot of how Ethan behaves,
- 33:05Speaker 1: and I think he's so crippled and he's bracken disabled
- 33:10Speaker 1: emotionally and that that causes him to behave in a
- 33:14Speaker 1: bad way, which we're going to get to some of that. Like,
- 33:17Speaker 1: even so I feel like I just feel like this
- 33:20Speaker 1: sense of hope for him, Yeah, that he can come
- 33:24Speaker 1: through that if he just applies himself to the process
- 33:27Speaker 1: that he's in. But if he's just going to deny
- 33:29Speaker 1: it and just like shock up with Teagan and I
- 33:31Speaker 1: have to deal with it. Well, then he's just going
- 33:33Speaker 1: to continue to be who he is.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm really hoping that he can actually take this
- 33:36Speaker 2: opportunity to grow up a little bit and like try
- 33:39Speaker 2: to see maybe where Olivia was coming from in some perspectives,
- 33:42Speaker 2: because we've talked about this at length about like how
- 33:46Speaker 2: Olivia was traumatized and probably reacted a lot with her
- 33:50Speaker 2: vitriolog against the past because of her own shit with
- 33:53Speaker 2: her own family and as she was projecting a lot
- 33:56Speaker 2: of that onto that. But there the plaths are dysfunctional
- 33:58Speaker 2: as well, Like we're not we're not hiding that. I
- 34:02Speaker 2: don't know. I hope that he can grow with Teagan.
- 34:04Speaker 2: I think Teagan's really sweet, and I think that she
- 34:08Speaker 2: is obviously really in love with Ethan, and she always
- 34:11Speaker 2: she's like calling the hansom a lot, and like she's
- 34:13Speaker 2: sitting in his old fashioned car and just like listening
- 34:15Speaker 2: to him to talk about his childhood, and she's not
- 34:18Speaker 2: judging him for it, and she's not shitting all over it.
- 34:21Speaker 2: She's not even really commenting about it.
- 34:23Speaker 1: She's just like hijacking it and then making it about
- 34:26Speaker 1: her and her childhood. She strikes me as somebody who
- 34:29Speaker 1: has an innate ability to hold space, yes, and just
- 34:32Speaker 1: be able to witness where somebody else is. And I
- 34:34Speaker 1: like it with grace, and like when we get to
- 34:36Speaker 1: Veronica later, girl like, it's just becomes like such a
- 34:40Speaker 1: comparing contrast between those two girls.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Well, and Tegan's only twenty four too, so she's young.
- 34:45Speaker 2: She's younger than Ethan, but she's kind of mature. And
- 34:48Speaker 2: maybe that's because she's a mom and she's promming up
- 34:51Speaker 2: a little bit. I thought that was really interesting though,
- 34:53Speaker 2: that she's a single mom, and like Ethan didn't bad
- 34:55Speaker 2: an eye about it, because Ethan's a bit of a
- 34:58Speaker 2: traditional you know, I am Christian man.
- 35:01Speaker 1: But he's just a judgmental of lifestyles, yes, and he
- 35:04Speaker 1: is insane, and he blames his judgment of alternative lifestyles
- 35:08Speaker 1: on his Christianity as well. Then if that's the case,
- 35:10Speaker 1: why aren't we having the same energy for somebody like Teagan.
- 35:13Speaker 1: I mean, I'm glad he doesn't, That's what I'm saying,
- 35:15Speaker 1: because Teacan doesn't deserve it, but neither do gay people, right,
- 35:19Speaker 1: other people are. But yeah, I just think it's interesting,
- 35:21Speaker 1: probably because she's got great knockers maybe he's a dude.
- 35:24Speaker 2: I guess, maybe he's just yet at the titties. I
- 35:26Speaker 2: don't fucking know. And then we hear an interesting comment
- 35:29Speaker 2: about Ethan with his divorce with Olivia, because apparently they
- 35:33Speaker 2: are not legally divorced yet because they both filled in
- 35:36Speaker 2: the paperwork incorrectly. They didn't know that it was incorrectly
- 35:40Speaker 2: filled out because they both moved and so nothing got finalized.
- 35:45Speaker 2: So Ethan says he hired an attorney to try and
- 35:49Speaker 2: mediate all this so he didn't have to deal with
- 35:51Speaker 2: Olivia ever again and talk to her ever again. But
- 35:53Speaker 2: according to Ethan, Olivia is not responding to his attorney
- 35:56Speaker 2: and not responding to his texts, which is interesting because
- 36:00Speaker 2: Olivia is on Instagram current day saying that Ethan is
- 36:04Speaker 2: the one that won't sign the divorce papers and Ethan's
- 36:07Speaker 2: not responding to her. So I'm like, where's the truth.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Hmmm, where's the truth? Well, I could play Devil's advocate
- 36:15Speaker 1: like you. So if I were to play Devil's advocate
- 36:18Speaker 1: for Ethan, I would say, well, there's that colonel inside
- 36:20Speaker 1: of him that was a young man when he fell
- 36:23Speaker 1: in love with Olivia, and he still is a little
- 36:25Speaker 1: bit in love with Olivia and therefore has jug or
- 36:29Speaker 1: dragged his feet to sign those divorce papers. But then
- 36:31Speaker 1: on the other side of that, I can play Devil's
- 36:33Speaker 1: advocate for Olivia because maybe she sees that this TLC
- 36:39Speaker 1: gig is going away, like she has not been featured
- 36:42Speaker 1: but once in three episodes, and I think based on
- 36:45Speaker 1: how she's conducting herself currently on Instagram, which is coming
- 36:48Speaker 1: for production, coming for TLC, coming for the show, it
- 36:51Speaker 1: feels like she's being phased out and she knows it. Yeah,
- 36:54Speaker 1: But I just think that she's somebody who's quite attention seeking,
- 36:58Speaker 1: and so if Ethan is the last lifeline to the attention,
- 37:03Speaker 1: then she's not going to necessarily want to cut off
- 37:05Speaker 1: that light lifeline, and so she's not signing the papers.
- 37:09Speaker 1: My intuition, bitch, was that she's not signing him because
- 37:12Speaker 1: she's either making it hard for him because she's you know,
- 37:16Speaker 1: petty LaBelle yet and I can appreciate that, and or
- 37:19Speaker 1: she is not giving up her last name because she
- 37:21Speaker 1: wants to stay connected to the show, and she's not
- 37:24Speaker 1: signing the divorce papers because she wants to stay connected
- 37:27Speaker 1: to Ethan. Don't come for me. These are just ideas.
- 37:30Speaker 1: We're just talking about them.
- 37:32Speaker 2: That's kind of my thought. And I'm like, again, I'm
- 37:35Speaker 2: not like an apologist for Ethan, And I'm like, I'm
- 37:38Speaker 2: not trying to simp for him, because i think he
- 37:40Speaker 2: is not free from faults, like he's a piece of
- 37:42Speaker 2: shit sometimes. But like, I think Ethan's telling the truth
- 37:46Speaker 2: here that he hired An at Journey and Olivia is
- 37:50Speaker 2: the one that's not responding. I think he wants to
- 37:52Speaker 2: be over it. I think he wants to be done
- 37:53Speaker 2: with the divorce and be done with it. He seems
- 37:55Speaker 2: over it. I know he keeps bringing up Olivia, but
- 37:58Speaker 2: I think that that's because the TLC produce heart making
- 38:00Speaker 2: him bring up Olivia, similar to what has been happening
- 38:03Speaker 2: with Christine talking about Kriti constantly even though she's already
- 38:07Speaker 2: in a new relationship. That's kind of what it's giving
- 38:10Speaker 2: to me, but don't come for me well.
- 38:11Speaker 1: And also Ethan seems really sprung by Teagan, like he's
- 38:16Speaker 1: really into Titkin. No, I'm sorry, Oh my god, I'm
- 38:22Speaker 1: sorry Tittigin. Like he's really into Teagan. And Tiken seems great.
- 38:27Speaker 1: She's not only I mean, she just has great Bosoms though,
- 38:29Speaker 1: and I'm just calling her out. Yeah, I'm like, oh
- 38:31Speaker 1: my god, I remember when I was twenty four as well,
- 38:34Speaker 1: Oh my god, that bought is killer. So I think
- 38:36Speaker 1: he's sprung for all that. Plus her, she seems like
- 38:39Speaker 1: a quality young lady, and so I don't think he'd
- 38:42Speaker 1: be dragging his heels on the divorce. I remember when
- 38:44Speaker 1: I was married, my sick and he husband, and we
- 38:48Speaker 1: were going through the whole process. Girl, it took from
- 38:50Speaker 1: two thousand and eight to twenty and eleven.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Stop it.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Yeah, it was ivo before we actually divorced, but it
- 38:58Speaker 1: wasn't until he met someone new that he that He's like, okay,
- 39:01Speaker 1: well let's get this going. And he made a lot
- 39:03Speaker 1: of great concessions. I have to say, like we finally
- 39:06Speaker 1: were able to push it through. And so I think
- 39:08Speaker 1: that's where Ethan is. He wants it to be done.
- 39:10Speaker 2: And maybe that's the other thing. Maybe he was dragging
- 39:12Speaker 2: his feet until he went mean and now he wants
- 39:15Speaker 2: to light the fire and be like I'm done.
- 39:17Speaker 1: And now Olivia is like, oh there's another woman, and
- 39:20Speaker 1: oh she's pretty, and now I'm gonna drag my heels.
- 39:23Speaker 1: I don't like that, So it's exactly what it feels like.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, because they're young and this was their first marriage. Yeah,
- 39:28Speaker 2: it was not a good breakup, so like I get
- 39:30Speaker 2: I get it on all fronts, you know. And then
- 39:33Speaker 2: we go to Veronica and Micah where we pick up
- 39:36Speaker 2: where we left off in last episode where they're talking
- 39:39Speaker 2: about the cheating. This is where we hear more in
- 39:41Speaker 2: depth to the extent to the level of how much
- 39:45Speaker 2: of a ho Micah was, because apparently they were long
- 39:48Speaker 2: distance for like seven months or something, and during that
- 39:51Speaker 2: time where they were long distance, Micah was fucking a lot.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Apparently he was doing something I'm doing a lot. We
- 39:59Speaker 1: saw him going on dates when he was in Los Angeles,
- 40:02Speaker 1: and I was thinking, as I was watching this episode
- 40:05Speaker 1: of Michael, was Veronica waiting back in Florida for him?
- 40:09Speaker 1: Was Veronica at that time thinking that they were in
- 40:12Speaker 1: some kind of a relationship. But yeah, we saw him
- 40:15Speaker 1: going on dates and being romantic and pursuing other people.
- 40:19Speaker 1: And Micah tells us in this scene that he just
- 40:22Speaker 1: wasn't ready to commit. What really kind of got me
- 40:26Speaker 1: in my fields was when Veronica was like, you know,
- 40:29Speaker 1: the reason I didn't tell anybody, I think the producer
- 40:32Speaker 1: asks her, like, we did you When did you forgive him?
- 40:35Speaker 1: Or why did you forgive him? And she's like, I
- 40:36Speaker 1: actually had to forgive myself because you know, I was
- 40:41Speaker 1: caught in this loop of questioning whether it was me.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Is it because I'm too tall? Is it because I
- 40:46Speaker 1: am masculine? Is it because I have all these other
- 40:49Speaker 1: things going against me? Am I causing these problems? Am
- 40:52Speaker 1: I causing Micah to stray? And I was just like,
- 40:55Speaker 1: oh wow, that hurts my heart for her. And when
- 40:58Speaker 1: you keep in mind that at the time, she was
- 41:03Speaker 1: going through it on social media, like people were going
- 41:06Speaker 1: into her Instagram comments and calling her transgendered or like
- 41:10Speaker 1: saying all of these terrible things to her like that
- 41:13Speaker 1: at point she had to come out and show pictures
- 41:16Speaker 1: of herself as a young girl and say like I'm
- 41:19Speaker 1: not transgender, Like why do you guys? Why do you
- 41:20Speaker 1: always do this? And I felt really bad and she
- 41:23Speaker 1: starts crying on the couch because she felt so less
- 41:28Speaker 1: then and then we go back to Micah and he
- 41:31Speaker 1: talks about like how he moved from LA to Florida
- 41:35Speaker 1: and when he did, he just never closed the doors
- 41:38Speaker 1: with all the girls. Guys girls and guys that because
- 41:43Speaker 1: remember when he was in La, he kind of said
- 41:45Speaker 1: that he was open to both sexes, right, He's like,
- 41:49Speaker 1: I'm just curious or whatever. So he never closed the door.
- 41:53Speaker 1: And then he would like take trips to New York
- 41:55Speaker 1: and there was somebody in New York and Veronica had
- 41:57Speaker 1: no idea, which is trophic, yes, and tragic, absolutely terrible,
- 42:03Speaker 1: and Micah like, how are you fucking terrible? Ab you right?
- 42:07Speaker 2: Like what the fuck are you doing? And then he
- 42:09Speaker 2: says when she found out, so he was hiding it,
- 42:11Speaker 2: like even when he moved from La to Florida, he
- 42:15Speaker 2: was still fucking around. Then Veronica ended up finding out,
- 42:19Speaker 2: and then he said that was the point where he
- 42:22Speaker 2: like cut off everything. He gave Veronica full access to
- 42:26Speaker 2: his phone. He says he deeply regrets all of this,
- 42:29Speaker 2: and it seems like maybe he does. But at the
- 42:32Speaker 2: same time, I'm like, Micah, the fuck, like why did
- 42:36Speaker 2: you make this huge move? This just speaks to your
- 42:39Speaker 2: point earlier about how we're kind of concerned about Micah,
- 42:43Speaker 2: Like what's going on with you, bro? I'm not saying
- 42:46Speaker 2: I'm not trying to make any justifications for his cheating.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Cheating is wrong always, it's terrible to do to people.
- 42:52Speaker 2: He's a terrible person for doing this to Veronica because
- 42:54Speaker 2: she's obviously deeply traumatized.
- 42:56Speaker 1: He's destroyed, But I'm like destroyed.
- 42:58Speaker 2: What is going on with you emotionally? That you were
- 43:02Speaker 2: doing all of this and then you committed even though,
- 43:06Speaker 2: like he said, I committed before I was ready to commit,
- 43:09Speaker 2: And yet you're still committed to this girl who you
- 43:12Speaker 2: have deeply hurt. Like, why don't you just break it off?
- 43:15Speaker 2: And Veronica, why don't you do dis ess?
- 43:18Speaker 1: It's a tale as old as time. I mean, people
- 43:20Speaker 1: have dealt with infidelity in their relationships and they make
- 43:23Speaker 1: different choices to try and live with it or live
- 43:25Speaker 1: without it. I just feel like Micah is a consummate hobosexual.
- 43:31Speaker 1: I think he needed a place to live. I think
- 43:33Speaker 1: Veronica was and is an accomplished professional person. I believe
- 43:38Speaker 1: she's in real estate. I think she had a home.
- 43:41Speaker 1: He needed a home or else he was going to
- 43:42Speaker 1: have to move home with Barry and do that whole thing,
- 43:45Speaker 1: and so she provided a sense of stability. And furthermore,
- 43:49Speaker 1: her archetype in terms of being a partner and a
- 43:53Speaker 1: woman was like a very strong domineering kind of archetype,
- 43:57Speaker 1: which is similar to his mother. And so you have
- 44:00Speaker 1: these kids, in various ways, seeking out relationships with partners
- 44:05Speaker 1: that resemble the relationships that they saw model to them
- 44:08Speaker 1: by Kim and by Barry. So they're either hooking up
- 44:11Speaker 1: with emotionally unavailable people, or they're hooking up with these
- 44:14Speaker 1: women in particular who are controlling, domineering, and calling the shots.
- 44:19Speaker 1: And so I think Micah fell into something that felt
- 44:22Speaker 1: very familiar to him, and even though it would not
- 44:25Speaker 1: feel familiar to me and I would be uncomfortable and
- 44:27Speaker 1: I would be not into it, for someone who grew
- 44:30Speaker 1: up in that and who only knows that, it probably
- 44:33Speaker 1: feels like home. And so on some level, maybe Veronica
- 44:36Speaker 1: felt like home for him, and he's like, let me
- 44:38Speaker 1: just navigate this and do the very best that I can,
- 44:40Speaker 1: even though he wasn't necessarily feeling Veronica. And I think
- 44:45Speaker 1: that at some point that's where we got.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:47Speaker 1: I think he was like not feeling her, I think,
- 44:49Speaker 1: and then she could sense that, whether energetically, whether they
- 44:52Speaker 1: talked about it, and then she started to act out yep,
- 44:56Speaker 1: and her behavior became a problem. And now here we
- 44:59Speaker 1: are Season seven, and she's just like to me, She's like,
- 45:02Speaker 1: I don't she's off her rocker.
- 45:05Speaker 2: She is in certain scenes well, and this like when
- 45:08Speaker 2: we're talking about the cheating and you see her crying,
- 45:10Speaker 2: like you see her being vulnerable here, and like she
- 45:13Speaker 2: had talked about being bullied online. I'm like, Okay, this
- 45:16Speaker 2: is the issue. Like you were cheated on multiple multiple
- 45:21Speaker 2: times by this very handsome young man that you probably
- 45:25Speaker 2: are like so into because he's so handsome and he's
- 45:29Speaker 2: sweet sometimes and he can be like he's more emotionally
- 45:33Speaker 2: intelligent I think than Ethan at times, because even when
- 45:36Speaker 2: he's like describing the whole Mariah and Veronica situation, like
- 45:39Speaker 2: he's very I don't know, he's able to see all
- 45:44Speaker 2: sides of it. But like I can see where Veronica
- 45:47Speaker 2: would fall in love with him and then try to
- 45:50Speaker 2: make it work because she's really into him and be
- 45:54Speaker 2: fueled by that insecurity of like being cheated on, and like,
- 45:57Speaker 2: but I still want to be enough for you though,
- 45:59Speaker 2: Like it's again, like you said, a tale as old
- 46:02Speaker 2: as time. But I'm like, Veronica, deal with this shit
- 46:06Speaker 2: with you and Micah without tearing down the rest of
- 46:09Speaker 2: the fucking family. Yeah, why are we going after Mariah?
- 46:13Speaker 2: Why are we going after.
- 46:14Speaker 1: Because it's a Wayah, it's fucked up. It's not necessarily
- 46:18Speaker 1: about Mariah, it's not necessarily about Barry. And it's not
- 46:21Speaker 1: that they didn't do anything wrong. We really haven't learned
- 46:24Speaker 1: too much about like what went down exactly. But in
- 46:27Speaker 1: addition to whatever that was, it is a way to
- 46:30Speaker 1: hurt Micah because you can see that he is in pain.
- 46:34Speaker 1: He is about this situation and he's trying to figure
- 46:37Speaker 1: out how to navigate it, how to like bring his
- 46:39Speaker 1: girl to the table and his folks to the table.
- 46:42Speaker 1: But like he doesn't know what to do. And I
- 46:43Speaker 1: feel like maybe Veronica senses this as a weakness and
- 46:47Speaker 1: therefore exploits it.
- 46:49Speaker 2: Yes, And to this day, I saw her on her
- 46:52Speaker 2: Instagram story today she is like outing Micah constantly, like
- 46:57Speaker 2: she she found out today that he well, she found
- 47:00Speaker 2: out today that he made a private Instagram and she's like, hey, everybody,
- 47:05Speaker 2: let's go follow him and let's go harass him.
- 47:07Speaker 1: And it's like stop, so gross, dude, it's really really gross.
- 47:11Speaker 2: He cheated on you. You guys broke up, You had
- 47:14Speaker 2: a messy breakup, Like let it go and be done
- 47:17Speaker 2: with it and be the bigger person. Like it's it's
- 47:19Speaker 2: speaking to her age a little bit, Like she's a
- 47:21Speaker 2: little immature. She's obviously hurting and reacting from a place
- 47:24Speaker 2: of hurt.
- 47:25Speaker 1: But she just strikes me as somebody who was bullied
- 47:29Speaker 1: as a child. Yeah, And I think because of her
- 47:32Speaker 1: height and like she references this and like her looks,
- 47:34Speaker 1: which I think she's beautiful, and like, I think you're
- 47:36Speaker 1: just donning young woman. Like I think because of that,
- 47:40Speaker 1: she was probably bullied as a child. And sometimes when
- 47:45Speaker 1: that happens, you turn into that as well as a
- 47:49Speaker 1: kind of defense, and you become really strong, really hard,
- 47:53Speaker 1: and you start visiting this stuff that was done to
- 47:56Speaker 1: you upon other people, and you kind of can see this, Yeah,
- 48:00Speaker 1: how she was going off in front of Amber in
- 48:03Speaker 1: the first episode, and how she just launches into her
- 48:06Speaker 1: diatribe with Teagan, who like is just meeting her. Like
- 48:09Speaker 1: she's like, she's doing this reactively. It's not intentional, she's
- 48:13Speaker 1: not like thinking about it. I think it's I don't know,
- 48:16Speaker 1: I mean, she means to do it, but from a
- 48:18Speaker 1: reactive place. I feel like she's reacting from the trauma
- 48:22Speaker 1: of Micah, from the trauma being cheated upon which devalues her,
- 48:26Speaker 1: which is right, probably something she has experienced many many
- 48:29Speaker 1: times over. And she's trying to defend herself in all
- 48:32Speaker 1: these different ways and to me, and I'm like, oh,
- 48:34Speaker 1: you don't need to do all of that. You could
- 48:36Speaker 1: just walk away from this man. And yes he's beautiful,
- 48:39Speaker 1: and yes it's a reality TV show and you could
- 48:41Speaker 1: be famous, but like, you don't need to do this
- 48:43Speaker 1: at all. You could value yourself. You could give that
- 48:47Speaker 1: to yourself. Yep, you wouldn't have to need that from
- 48:49Speaker 1: anybody else, and you could walk away. But she's not there, girl. No,
- 48:53Speaker 1: she's very punitive. She's lashing out, and whoever will listen
- 48:57Speaker 1: is who she will be talking to exactly.
- 48:59Speaker 2: It's really sad, honestly, but also aggravating. And then we
- 49:03Speaker 2: shift gears and we have Teagan going to Kim's new
- 49:07Speaker 2: rental house to like meet Kim officially and like meet
- 49:10Speaker 2: the rest of the family. And this was kind of
- 49:13Speaker 2: like a whatever burger, But the only thing that came
- 49:16Speaker 2: out of it was like Ethan expressing how he just
- 49:20Speaker 2: doesn't like Zach and he thinks he's weird and he
- 49:23Speaker 2: doesn't like that Zach wanted to hug him when he
- 49:26Speaker 2: wanted to give him a handshake. And you have Kim
- 49:29Speaker 2: kind of like defending Zach a little bit, which I appreciated.
- 49:34Speaker 2: She's like, you know, he's not as macho as you, Ethan,
- 49:38Speaker 2: but like maybe Lydia's into that, and he seems to
- 49:41Speaker 2: be really into Lydia. And then we have Kim expressing
- 49:45Speaker 2: her concern for Lydia getting married so fast because she
- 49:49Speaker 2: wants to make sure Lydia is actually in love with
- 49:52Speaker 2: the guy first. But I'm like, Kim, you fucking did
- 49:55Speaker 2: that too, and you raised Lydia to be this fucking
- 49:59Speaker 2: Jesus freak. I mean Jesus cool period period, but like
- 50:03Speaker 2: you raised her to be this hymn singing Christian Southern
- 50:10Speaker 2: Baptist praying in the closet, young naive girl. And now
- 50:15Speaker 2: you're like gonna pretend you're concerned about her carrying a
- 50:18Speaker 2: guy so quickly. How about you be a mom and
- 50:21Speaker 2: sit down with her and say, hey, you shouldn't do that,
- 50:23Speaker 2: because look at how well it worked out for me.
- 50:26Speaker 1: Yeah, there's just so many things that you can indict
- 50:28Speaker 1: Kim and Barry on as it concerns Lydia. But I
- 50:32Speaker 1: mean the alternate side of that is that Lydia has
- 50:36Speaker 1: turned into a truly beautiful young woman. I would say naive,
- 50:40Speaker 1: I would say a bit misguided. Yes, I would say, like,
- 50:43Speaker 1: oh my god, I wish you'd go out and just
- 50:45Speaker 1: have more experiences, particularly with men and romantic Like I
- 50:48Speaker 1: just wish that for you, Lydia. Yeah, but like she
- 50:51Speaker 1: doesn't want that for herself, and that's okay. And she's
- 50:53Speaker 1: an adult woman and that is okay. I think she's
- 50:56Speaker 1: a beautiful person with a big open heart. And Kim,
- 51:02Speaker 1: you raised her to be vulnerable. You raised her to
- 51:07Speaker 1: be able to be taken advantage of by somebody else
- 51:10Speaker 1: who and Zach may not even mean to do this,
- 51:13Speaker 1: like Zach is probably programmed and in the Borg and
- 51:16Speaker 1: the Matrix like the rest of these folks, But like,
- 51:18Speaker 1: you've raised her to be prime pickens for this lifestyle
- 51:23Speaker 1: that's not going to fulfill her. And you know that though, right, Zach,
- 51:25Speaker 1: Because it did not fulfill you. You taught your children
- 51:29Speaker 1: to be this way. And I'm just wondering to myself
- 51:32Speaker 1: as I watched this fantastic show, like, Kim, are you
- 51:36Speaker 1: capable of moments of clarity. No where you see this
- 51:40Speaker 1: about it in your life. I don't know. I wonder.
- 51:42Speaker 1: I don't think she is God. She just dark inside?
- 51:45Speaker 1: Is she just turned off no lights on in the house.
- 51:48Speaker 1: She's drunk, well, but she's not always drunk like in
- 51:51Speaker 1: this scene. She's not drunk. And I do think she's
- 51:53Speaker 1: trying to weakly advocate for lydia. But I'm just like, God,
- 51:56Speaker 1: you could have equipped all of your children so much more.
- 51:59Speaker 1: And I hope Amber and Cassia and Mercy are watching,
- 52:03Speaker 1: and I'm thankful that they're going to get this version
- 52:05Speaker 1: of Kim and Barry versus the indoctrinated horseshit scripture spouting
- 52:11Speaker 1: Kim Barry that you're never able to manage this kind
- 52:14Speaker 1: of life anyway. Fucking hypocrites, straight up.
- 52:17Speaker 2: I just it annoyed me that I'm like, you're being
- 52:19Speaker 2: concerned about this, but then you're not doing anything. You're
- 52:21Speaker 2: not saying anything to her, You're not expressing this concern
- 52:25Speaker 2: as a mom should, as a mom should be like, Hey,
- 52:29Speaker 2: I love you. I know that you love this guy
- 52:31Speaker 2: with his weird teeth, but like, maybe you should wait
- 52:34Speaker 2: a little bit.
- 52:35Speaker 1: Well maybe she knows, she doesn't have that kind of
- 52:37Speaker 1: credit with her kids. With her kids, maybe maybe she
- 52:40Speaker 1: knows like it would probably be better suited for Ethan
- 52:43Speaker 1: to go and have that conversation because she's lost so
- 52:46Speaker 1: much credit with somebody like Lydia who is a Turbo
- 52:49Speaker 1: Christian dude yea, and she is not going to be
- 52:51Speaker 1: approving of infidelity and the like that is. And so, okay, mom,
- 52:55Speaker 1: now you want to tell me how to be in
- 52:56Speaker 1: a relationship and be happy. I don't think so that
- 52:59Speaker 1: is a great point.
- 53:00Speaker 2: And like speaking of Ethan, like Kim talks about her
- 53:04Speaker 2: relationship with Ethan, and Ethan talks about it too, that
- 53:06Speaker 2: how he wants to have a relationship with his mom
- 53:08Speaker 2: and how he's thankful that he gets to have that
- 53:11Speaker 2: now because when he was with Olivia, Olivia and Kim
- 53:14Speaker 2: had major beef. And I think this is where maybe
- 53:17Speaker 2: I think this is where Ethan says that when Olivia
- 53:20Speaker 2: and Kim had major beef, he had to take Olivia's
- 53:23Speaker 2: side because that was his wife, and so he had
- 53:26Speaker 2: to forego his relationship with Kim and the rest of
- 53:29Speaker 2: his siblings and everything in order to stand by Olivia.
- 53:33Speaker 2: And that didn't work out for him. So now, he's
- 53:35Speaker 2: thankful that he has Teagan who respects his relationship with
- 53:38Speaker 2: his mom and respects the fact that he wants to
- 53:41Speaker 2: have a relationship with her. She's supportive, and Kim echoes
- 53:46Speaker 2: this and is like, you know, I'm really glad. I'm
- 53:47Speaker 2: really grateful that I can have this relationship, especially with Ethan,
- 53:51Speaker 2: because I will lost so many years with him, and
- 53:53Speaker 2: I'm just thankful that he's in my life now and
- 53:56Speaker 2: that he can be at my house and I get
- 53:58Speaker 2: to meet his girlfriend and I get to be involved.
- 53:59Speaker 2: And she gives him that quilt that she made out
- 54:02Speaker 2: of some old T shirts that he had that he
- 54:04Speaker 2: didn't want to get rid of. And I guess this
- 54:06Speaker 2: was supposed to be a wedding gift that she never
- 54:08Speaker 2: ended up giving them because she thought Olivia would burn it.
- 54:12Speaker 2: I don't know how true that is or if that's
- 54:14Speaker 2: just like a dig at Olivia.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Yeah, And that's the thing, And I just have to
- 54:18Speaker 1: say that I hear what she's saying about all this
- 54:23Speaker 1: lost time with Ethan, but there was no ownership on
- 54:28Speaker 1: and why that happened. It was all just placed on Olivia,
- 54:31Speaker 1: Like Olivia wouldn't let him talk to his family, Olivia
- 54:34Speaker 1: needed to control him and what he did. I'm like, okay,
- 54:36Speaker 1: but Kim, what about you? What did you do to
- 54:40Speaker 1: alienate Olivia? What did you do to a strange ethan
- 54:43Speaker 1: and Olivia from the rest of the family. We know
- 54:46Speaker 1: that you wouldn't let Isaac join the music band, We
- 54:49Speaker 1: know that you wouldn't let the siblings spend any time
- 54:51Speaker 1: with them. There were a lot of things that you
- 54:54Speaker 1: did to contribute to that estrangement. But all I'm hearing
- 54:57Speaker 1: you talk about in this moment is about Olivia.
- 55:00Speaker 2: Yeah and no, Yeah.
- 55:03Speaker 1: Because I watched all the seasons, Kim and you had
- 55:06Speaker 1: a hand in that, a bit hand, and that she
- 55:09Speaker 1: did well.
- 55:10Speaker 2: That's the thing, is like two things can be true
- 55:12Speaker 2: at once, right. It's like Olivia had her part to
- 55:15Speaker 2: play in the division and the family, but Kim fucking
- 55:18Speaker 2: did too.
- 55:19Speaker 1: And I just want to hear that, and I want
- 55:20Speaker 1: to hear that from Kim, and I want to hear
- 55:22Speaker 1: that from Olivia. I mean, I would love to hear
- 55:24Speaker 1: from Olivia if she were saying something like, look, I
- 55:27Speaker 1: was insecure, I was deconstructing, deprogramming, I was trying totally
- 55:32Speaker 1: freaked out based on my own lived experience, and now
- 55:36Speaker 1: I'm like put into this weird family and they're trying
- 55:39Speaker 1: to control us and they're stealing our money or whatever
- 55:41Speaker 1: it is. But I shouldn't have done this, or I
- 55:44Speaker 1: could have done this differently and better. Like I'd love
- 55:46Speaker 1: to hear that from Olivia, but I give her more
- 55:48Speaker 1: of a pass because she's young. She's still in the
- 55:53Speaker 1: process too. And then you have Kim fifty four or
- 55:56Speaker 1: whatever her age is the age she should know better, yes,
- 55:59Speaker 1: and she should be to take accountability, and maybe she
- 56:01Speaker 1: has off camera, but I mean i'd love to see
- 56:04Speaker 1: it personally as a viewer.
- 56:06Speaker 2: I doubt it. Yeah, Like Kim is one of those
- 56:07Speaker 2: people that like she's just as bad, but as some
- 56:10Speaker 2: of these younger kids that are like super immature. It's like, Kim,
- 56:13Speaker 2: you're fifty fucking four, you can have that emotional awareness
- 56:17Speaker 2: of like, yeah, I should have been nicer to Olivia.
- 56:20Speaker 2: I was hurt. I was going through my bullshit in
- 56:23Speaker 2: my marriage where I'm metopausal and I'm married to an
- 56:26Speaker 2: actual fucking robot, and I'm super It's sorry, I'm It's like,
- 56:33Speaker 2: you know, Kim could have that Wherewithal, but she didn't,
- 56:36Speaker 2: you know, because Kim's also the same person that broke
- 56:39Speaker 2: up her family by cheating on Isaac's cheating on Barry,
- 56:43Speaker 2: with Isaac's flight and structure, Like, she's so emotionally immature too,
- 56:47Speaker 2: and that's what's so frustrating. Kim sucks, Olivia sucks, Barry sucks,
- 56:52Speaker 2: Ethan sucks. A lot of these people suck.
- 56:53Speaker 1: A lot of them suck. Now Isaac for me, Isaac sucks.
- 56:57Speaker 1: And you know, I was holding that hope for a
- 56:58Speaker 1: little Isaac because he's still Yeah, but like when he
- 57:03Speaker 1: was sitting at that table laughing at Zach, I was
- 57:05Speaker 1: just like, please don't do that. Please don't be this person,
- 57:07Speaker 1: Please don't become this person, just because it was demonstrated
- 57:10Speaker 1: to you by your fucked up family.
- 57:13Speaker 2: I know I would hope. I would hope that Pooky
- 57:15Speaker 2: Bear would confront him later and be like, Yo, that
- 57:18Speaker 2: was mean, that was not okay. But Isaac's also young too.
- 57:22Speaker 1: Oh my god, it wasn't Teagan, it was Kaylin. I
- 57:24Speaker 1: was gonna say, I don't think was not there. You're right, Yeah,
- 57:27Speaker 1: it was my bad. Yeah, I take it back. Good,
- 57:30Speaker 1: thank you.
- 57:32Speaker 2: And then we have Ethan talking with Lydia.
- 57:36Speaker 1: Oh my God about Zach. We have been talking so long.
- 57:39Speaker 1: We have to show but like we have to die
- 57:42Speaker 1: a lot, We've got to get into it.
- 57:44Speaker 2: We've got to get into it. So Ethan, I think
- 57:47Speaker 2: they're at the Platt family farm, and Ethan's got Teagan there,
- 57:51Speaker 2: and Lydia says that she really likes teak In, she
- 57:53Speaker 2: fits into the family. And then Teacan goes and leaves,
- 57:56Speaker 2: and then Ethan and Lydia have their private conversation in
- 57:58Speaker 2: the middle of the field where which.
- 58:00Speaker 1: Is where she's gonna get married though with the lights hanging?
- 58:03Speaker 2: Yeah, which will be really pretty.
- 58:04Speaker 1: And we've seen the pictures and it looked lovely.
- 58:06Speaker 2: I'm excited to see what happens at that wedding. I
- 58:08Speaker 2: hope we get to see the fight.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Oh my God, please Jesus please, I want to please
- 58:12Speaker 1: pretty that happened.
- 58:13Speaker 2: But anyway, so Ethan is going there to talk to
- 58:17Speaker 2: Lydia because he says he wants to offer her an
- 58:21Speaker 2: alternative perspective that no one seems to be giving her,
- 58:24Speaker 2: which is to proceed with caution and to be a
- 58:28Speaker 2: little bit wary of the fact that this is really
- 58:31Speaker 2: fast and he's coming at it from I think the
- 58:34Speaker 2: perspective of an older brother trying to look out for
- 58:38Speaker 2: his younger sister. He I think is trying to be protective.
- 58:42Speaker 2: But Ethan is chromagnum, so you know, it comes off
- 58:45Speaker 2: a little bit differently than how he's saying to the
- 58:48Speaker 2: cameras how he wants to come off. But he asks
- 58:52Speaker 2: Lydia like, what do you see this guy? And Liddy's like, well,
- 58:55Speaker 2: I just love him, and he's like godly and like,
- 58:57Speaker 2: I don't know, it's just great as amazing, and Ethan's like, well,
- 59:02Speaker 2: it's a little fast though. You guys have only known
- 59:04Speaker 2: each other for like three months, and Ldie is like, well,
- 59:06Speaker 2: actually four months, so if that matters. And Ethan's like, yeah,
- 59:11Speaker 2: you know, I just I don't know if I like him.
- 59:14Speaker 2: He's like, I don't like him because I don't know him.
- 59:16Speaker 1: He didn't say I don't know if I like him.
- 59:18Speaker 1: He said I don't like him.
- 59:19Speaker 2: Yeah, he said, I don't like him because I don't
- 59:20Speaker 2: know him.
- 59:21Speaker 1: And this weird editing thing happened in this scene, which
- 59:24Speaker 1: is where Lydia starts to cry and we're told as
- 59:29Speaker 1: the viewer that she's crying because she's having this connecting
- 59:31Speaker 1: moment with Ethan where he's showing her that he really
- 59:34Speaker 1: loves her and he wants to take care of her.
- 59:36Speaker 1: But it felt like to me that she started to
- 59:39Speaker 1: cry because Ethan said he did not like Zach. That's
- 59:43Speaker 1: what it felt like to me. And it was in
- 59:45Speaker 1: response to that, And I'm like, Ethan, you were doing
- 59:48Speaker 1: so great. You were saying, look, I'm just worried about you. Look,
- 59:52Speaker 1: the timeline's going a little fast. Look, I've been in
- 59:55Speaker 1: a situation it didn't really work out for me. He
- 59:57Speaker 1: didn't say that, but I'm sure he was thinking that.
- 59:59Speaker 1: He being very kind and are you sure, and doing
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: the older brother kind of thing. But then he said
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I don't like him, And I thought to myself, like,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: did you really need to say that? Like all of
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: your other points are valid, but to say that you
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: don't like him? And how are you going to qualify that?
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Because she's like, well, why don't you like him? And
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: he has nothing to say. He's like, well, maybe I
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: just don't know him. Yeah, I haven't spent all Well,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: then then you don't not like him. It's just you
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: don't know. But you said you don't like him, and
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: I just felt really bad for Lydia because she is
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: so in love for whatever reason. I'd she is so
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: in love with Zach and she really believes in this
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: path for her life, which I do not co sign
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: or approve of, but she wants it for herself. And
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: you're telling her you don't like her future husband. I'm like,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: that's harsh. You could have said that different. You should
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: have said that different. And if that were my brother,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: I would have said, you know, you really you hurt
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: my feelings with that. Yeah, you don't know him. And furthermore,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: we tried to, like go to dinner with you and
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Isaac and the rest of the people, and you laughed
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: at my future husband. You made fun of him. That
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: hurts my feelings. Ethan. Yeah, That's what I saw on
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: her face. But then it turned into all of a sudden, well,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: I guess he cares, And I'm just so shocked and
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: grateful that Ethan cares.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: Well. I think she was like crying for multiple reasons,
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: and because Lydia is also really young and naive and
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: comes from the same cloth that Kim and Berry are
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: cut from, like where she doesn't really know how to
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: express all that she's feeling. I think she's feeling like,
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: my feelings are hurt because you my older brother, my
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: oldest brother, doesn't like my future husband. But at the
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: same time, you know, Ethan says something like he hugs
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: her when she starts crying, and he's like, I guess
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: I just don't know you very well and like I
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: haven't gotten to talk to you very much and now
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: you're gone. And I think that's kind of where her
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: emotion was coming from. I don't, I think so.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: I think it was part of it well, but I
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: think it started with not liking Zach.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: Maybe I think that she was crying because like she realizes, yeah,
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: you don't know me, and she says that to that
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: was part of it, like you don't know me. And
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: I kind of related to Lydia on that front because
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: I felt the same way with my own family, because
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: my own family didn't really like your daughter my wife
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: when they first got together, because we also moved really fast,
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: and it was it was kind of rapid the way
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: that we got together and like we moved in and
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: then we got married.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: Really could I know the most wonderful person I know?
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: Well? And that's the thing. It's like, maybe Zach is
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: really wonderful and it's like Ethan, how could you not
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: like him? And he makes or he makes Lydia really happy.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: It's the same thing with your daughter. And so with
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: my family, I felt the same way that Lydia felt,
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: of like they don't really know me, they don't really
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: know they're not really involved in my life, and they
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: don't really know my relationship, and like, who are you
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: to say that you don't like my person that I
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: I'm picking for my life, Like I know what I
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: want and I know that I love this person, and
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: like my family just didn't know that. And for the
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: longest time, that really hurt, and I think I felt
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: that with Lydia. So that was just like my connection.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: I think that that was where it was coming from,
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: because they do express that, and Lydia does express like,
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: you know, I can see that he's just trying to
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: be protective, and I think Ethan was trying to be
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: protective in his own chromagnet fucking way.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: But he was also being an asshole, and he was
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: also being judgmental. I don't know if he means and
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: there's nothing wrong with Zach just because Zach doesn't present
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: in the same human way that you do. Doesn't mean
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: there's something wrong with Zach. Just because Zach is a
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: little softer, a little gentler, he likes to sing, he
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: likes to do things with Lydia, they like to laugh,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: they like to dance, doesn't mean that there's something inherently
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: wrong with Zach that's actually really charming. A lot of
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: girls would like that. He seems like a wonderful young man.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: And just because he's not like you, Ethan, doesn't mean
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: he's bad for Lydia or like a weird person or gay.
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: Sure, yes, I think that the other layer of all
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: of this is that he doesn't even know the fucking dude,
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: and like.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: But he's already judged him and he's already made fun
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: of him.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: I agree, I just I think he also doesn't know
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: the dude. And now you're gonna marry my young, impressionable,
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: blank slate of a sister. I don't know you, I
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: don't know your intentions. I don't know your intentions with
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: my family. And now the first time I meet you
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: is I'm going to propose and I'm going to ask
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: for Lydia's hand in marriage. Like I can understand the
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: perspective of definitely valting like who are you though?
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: Yes, but he's conducted himself out of integrity up until now.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: Therefore he loses points, he loses legitimacy in having this conversation.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: But I mean Lydia is too naive and too in
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: love with Ethan as her brother to like fault him
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: for it. But I fault him for it. I think
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: he's handled this terribly, Yes, and it's not fair. And
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Zach seems like a nice person.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: Yes, And I hope that things get better from here,
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: because I think they do. I think because I've I've
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: checked all of their social medias and Zach is still
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: following all of the plaths. He's still friends with all
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: of them.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: So I guess they didn't try to set him on fire, No,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: they because I mean, I don't know if you tried
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: to set me on fire, which is something by the way,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: that Veronica has said that Micah and Isaac and Ethan
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: did was try to set Zach's a hate crime, like so,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: and who am I I don't know. I'm just sitting
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: up here in North Texas just I'm enjoying my brisket
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: and watching a TV sual. I don't know what actually happened,
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: but it just seems to me that Zach would probably
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: not be following those boys if they had done that,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: although you know, he's a very Christian forgiving guy. So
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: I don't know the whole story, but it just doesn't
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: seem plausible.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: No, I don't think so either. But anyways, so Lydia
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: cries her brother doesn't like Zach and he just Ethan
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: just gives her a hug a hug and is like,
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: you know, I hope that you'll be happy, and then
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: he does talk to the camera about how he believes
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: in God and that he believes God gives us all
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: free will, and this was kind of interesting. That God
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: gives us all free will, which means that we also
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: have to deal with the consequences of our actions and
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: our behaviors and everything, and that Lydia is saying that
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: this relationship is all divine and that God is planning
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: all of this for them, and therefore it is absolving
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: her of any kind of responsibility from this act of
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: free will, which is marrying Zach after four months of
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: being with him and not kissing him like he speaks
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: to that. I thought that was kind of interesting. And
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: this is where We've talked about this before in the past,
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: that Ethan has these like weird moments of like emotional
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: clarity or like this ability to express like kind of
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: more complex ideas ideas, yes, where his chromagnum brain can
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: always like express it. It's just it's kind of interesting
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: that he had this dialogue because I think it's kind
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: of true.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: I think it's true as well. And I think if
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: Ethan were to get therapy and like an education and
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: just like open up his brain and his heart, like
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: he would be able to like understand the way of
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: the world in humanity, but like he's very closed off
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: in a lot of different ways.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: He really really is, and he really would benefit from
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: fucking therapy. Yes, I wish he would get therapy. All
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: of them would benefit from therapy, indeed, like especially Ethan
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: and especially Mariah and Micah probably yes. And then the
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: last scene of this episode.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: God, I hope. So we've been here for an hour.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: I know it is a long one and there's a
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: lot of the things to talk about, but the last
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: scene is that we have the day of Lydia's surprise proposal,
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: and so like a lot of the family are starting
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: to get together and rally up because they're going to
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: go hide in the bushes or something, while Zach proposes
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: to Lydia, and we have Veronica and Micah who are
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: staying at some weird haunted cabin that burying kim own.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: I think it's like one of their vacation property. Yeah,
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: it looks terrible, looks absolutely horrible. But they're staying at
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: this haunted cabin. And then Ethan and Taguan arrive to
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: I don't know, get together with them and do some
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: kind of portion of the surprise proposal. But we start
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: with Veronica and Micah. Veronica's already mad because she can't
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: find her fake fucking eyelashes.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Well, she's worked herself up on the way up from
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: Florida because she feels like she's going to have to
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: confront the family, and she's on a mission really to
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: call them out and tell them how she feels. And like,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: as this scene continues, we hear Ethan and we hear
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: Micah saying, well, like, okay, valid, I guess, but like
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: maybe not today though maybe not on the day that
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Lydia is going to be engaged to Zach, like can
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: you just hold it in? But like Veronica is ramping
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: up to being very disruptive.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: Yeah, and like she's starting off negative, really negative, so negative.
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: She's like getting mad at Micah because she can't he
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: can't find her makeup or whatever. And like Micah speaks
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: to the camera about how he's really trying to like
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: manage Veronica's emotions and he's like trying to make sure
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: everything's okay. He wants to cultivate this relationship with Veronica,
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: but he doesn't want to do that at the sake
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: or at the expense of his family and his relationships
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: with his family, So he's walking a very tight rope.
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: He does not seem very happy no having to do
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: all of this, and it's a really unfair position for
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: Micah to be in in a relationship where he has
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: to manage Veronica's emotions. And Veronica speaks to the camera
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: of like, yeah, he's doing everything he can to make
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: sure that I'm not set off, ha ha ha, and
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: it's like that's toxic.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: Yeah, Like you should be regulating your own emotions, yes,
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: And Micah should be handling his family on behalf of
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: the relationship that he has with you, But he does
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: not have a responsibility to be managing you and whether
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: you're going to pop off or not.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: No, not at all. It's crazy. And then when Ethan
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: and Tigue and arrive, like this is the first time
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: that girl Veronica's even meeting Teagan honey, and she already
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: has like a chip on her shoulder because I guess
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: she like Facebook stocked Teagan. It is like, well, we
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: already have a lot in common because we're both tall
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: blondes that like went to college in Florida, and we
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: both like played volleyball, So maybe we'll get along or
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: maybe we'll be a wormhole that will consume each other.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: It's like settled down out, like can't we just exist?
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: And can't you just meet somebody and have it be easy?
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: Straight up?
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: How does it have to be? Like so much agro
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: energy brought into every moment. And then she meets Deagan
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: and Tiacon is kind of timid, she's a little bit shy.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: When she met Kim, for example, she was very quiet.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: She did not know what to say. And so then
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: here she meets Veronica, who's like all energy, all hard edge,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: and Veronica immediately launches into talking crap about the family
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: and talking crap about Mariya and what happened with Mariah
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: and how Barry did this and how the family did that.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: And I'm just like, Tiakan is just meeting you, do
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: you have a fundamental inability need to like pop out
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: of yourself and just observe yourself in this moment, Like
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: how crazy you seem. It's not that what you're saying
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: isn't valid. It's not like you haven't been through a
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: lot for Veronica, But the way you are conducting yourself,
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: I say again, is discrediting the thing that has happened
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: to you. So now people can point and say, ill,
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: look at how she's acting. Absolutely not and she's still
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: doing it. Oh social media on Reddit. I mean she
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: is up in every subreddit just defending herself and being
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: sarcastic to people who disagree with her. Like very unbecoming behavior.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: And it doesn't need to be that way.
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: No, it doesn't at all. It's crazy. And like you
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: have sweet Teagan saying to the camera, like, you know,
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: I want to be the kind of person that like
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: holds space for a conversation and like is present in
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: the moment, but like I don't think that it's appropriate
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: to be talking mad shit about other people, especially on
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: a day that is supposed to be about Lydia and
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: her secret proposal that's supposed to be very special, and like, Veronica,
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: you're starting shit.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: And out of the gate starting shit, dude.
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: And then they all four sit together and they talk
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: more mad shit, and it's like all centered around Veronica
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: and how she feels because she's scared about seeing Marian,
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: She's scared about seeing Barry because she hasn't seen them
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: since the day of the concert last year, and she
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: feels like she's got to confront them about how they
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: mistreated her on the day of Lydia's proposal.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: Which really does point to the fact that Veronica is
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: something's wrong with you, Like, I feel like you've got
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: main character syndrome. Are you yourself some kind of a
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: narc It's again not that you don't have legitimate grievances,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: but it's that you can't platform yourself, Like you can't
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: not platform yourself above everybody else, and there's something inherently
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: wrong with that. And then it was upon Reddit and
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: I was just like seeing some of the comments that
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: people were saying about Teagan, yeah, versus how they're like
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: writing for Olivia and for Veronica and I'm just like,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: did you see any of that and what did you get?
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: Yes, it pissed me off. People are like talking about
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: Teagan's looks, and they're talking about how she's like super
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: insecure whatever. They're talking shit about how she's just manipulated
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: by Ethan and all of a sudden, like they're like
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: tearing her to shreds, and I just think it's based.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: On what she didn't do anything in this episode, a
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: very nice person and just say I don't want to
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: gossip about people like I mean, you're for Lydia.
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: And I just think it's funny that we get called misogynistic, yeah,
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: for talking about Olivia and Veronica and being critical of
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: some of their shitty behavior, But they these same people
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: mm hmm can be outwardly misogynistic, rul and cruel.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: So very unkind to.
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: What just because she's with Ethan and she thinks he's handsome.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe is Veronica talking crap about Teagan
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: on social media? But like I don't know what's happening,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: like peripherally, I know what I'm watching on the television,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: and there's nothing that Teagan has given thus far that
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: has been objective that has been part of a conflict
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: that has been argumentative. Like she's just trying to meet
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: the family and be a part of this very special occasion.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: So for people online to be tearing her down based
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: on what your allegiance to Olivia and Veronica, that's whack.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: It's gross, it's whack. And people come for us because
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: we try to have like nuanced views and talk about
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: like all of the angles, and we do, and we
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: disagree all the time, and they want to come for
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: us because we don't one percent agree with you. Guess what,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: we never are Guess what, Say what you want, think
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: what you want. We're just gonna watch the show that
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: TLC presents to us, and we're gonna tell you how
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: we feel about it. So we're not gonna come fortiagu
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: in just because she doesn't agree with Veronica in the moment,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: Like that's stupid, it's so can't stand that hive mind
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: bullshit met whether it's women, whether it's men, whatever it is,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: like you can't see the color, you can't see the nuance,
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: you can't see the various angles to like see how
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: people are feeling in a moment. And again I say,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: it's not like Veronica doesn't have a legitimate grievance. She does.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: This girl has been put through it, and Micah, you
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: ain't shit. But at the same time, we also have
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: to stand her really bad behavior for actual abusive behavior.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: If you ask me and throw somebody like teaking under
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: the bus, I don't get it. I'm not ever gonna
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: do it. And that's why this podcast might not be
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: for you if you're sensitive. Sorry facts, I had to
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: say it, period, I had to say it.
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: Thank you. I add that I've been feeling some type
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: of way ever since we started this first episode because
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: I knew all you did.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: You warrant me. I want to watch the show, I
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: want to recap the show, but I just know we're
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: gonna have this sea of Harodin's coming for us because
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: we're not team Olivia or Veronica or Ethan or whatever. Like,
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: we don't agree necessarily, and.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: It's like, I'm totally fine if you disagree, that's completely fine,
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: and I respect it. Entitled to your own opinions. But
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: to call us missogynistic because we're critical of characters on
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: the show, fucking while, and to call his misogynistic.
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: For that, because you can't have a conversation, go.
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: Around and be misogynistic towards Teagan because she's dating one
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: of your least favorite characters. This show is absolutely fucking
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: hypocritical and gross. Sorry about it, fuck y'all. Anyway, back
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: to get back to Veronica and Micah and Ethan and
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: Tagan talking mad shit. It's Veronica against the other three
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: that are trying to advocate for Mariah and for Barry
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: and for this day, for Olivia, for the proposal, and
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: Veronica's like, no, Mariah Barrier, awful people, I don't even
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: want to be a part of the family. I feel
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: like I need to say something because what they did
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: was absolutely fucking disgusting and terrible, and I need to
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: confront them. On Lydia's day of her proposal.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Then why are you here? That's why you're here. You're
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: here to create drama, to create drama. You're here to
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: make it about you, and it'bout your crazy because you
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: don't know how to process and deal with your own pain.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: And what was interesting so selfish.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: It's so fucking selfish, unbelievably, and it's like, also what
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: I said, I think last week when we covered the
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: first episode about how this black and white thinking is
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: gonna get you nowhere if you can't see all sides
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: of everything. Even Micah speaks to that in this episode.
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: He's like, I feel like I have the ability to
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: view my family through my own eyes and also view
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: my family in this situation through Veronica's eyes, But she
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: doesn't have that ability to do the same for me
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: and to like to view it from a different lens,
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: Like she just fews it from her own perspective and
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: from the fact that her feelings are hurt. And again,
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: like we mentioned, you even talked about this on the
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: first episode about how what Mariah did was wrong and
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: like a shitty thing to do to a friend, but
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: she apologized and Veronica doesn't. It's no and especially now
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: that we know that the real issue is that Mike
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: has been cheating on you the entire fucking time.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Well, if you can just kind of compare and contrast
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: with Olivia. When Olivia sat down with Mariah last season,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: I think and they tried to just kind of hash
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: it out. They agreed that they might never be best
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: friends again, but that they could at least coexist with
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: one another and forgive one another. Like Olivia has an
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: infinite amount of grace far surpassing what Veronica is able
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: to do. And I don't see somebody like Olivia ruining
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: Lydia's day because she has some kind of a grudge
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: and she needs to talk about it in front of
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: everybody and call people that. I think she would have
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: reserved that for a later time because she didn't. She
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: wouldn't need to make it all about herself. That's what
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: I personally think. So that's just shining a light on
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: how escalating I think Veronica is and how much she
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: needs to make it about her. And I feel like
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: Olivia did that a lot too. I think Kim does that.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: I think Mariah does that. But like Veronica is a
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: whole another Oprah. There's a whole another Oprah.
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: She's so much louder about it all, whereas like and meaner. Yeah, Like,
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: whereas like Olivia was just the person that like stayed
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: in the car and like didn't want to interact with
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: anybody at like Joshua's memorial, you know, like she was
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: more passive about it as opposed to Veronica, who wants
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: to make it a confrontation and like wants to be
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: mad and like be expressed.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: And make it uncomfortable for everybody. And did you notice
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: I was watching Ethan when they were all talking together,
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: taking Ethan, Micah, Veronica, and Ethan was trying to reason
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: with Veronica, well, like you're gonna have to figure out
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: can you tolerate it. If you can't, then maybe you
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: don't want to be a part of the family. But
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: like he was trying to reason with her, but he
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: was clocking her at the same time, like, oh, this
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: checks out of control, Like there's no actual reasoning with
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: this woman. She doesn't want to hear it. She wants
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: to be a disruptor in this family, and we can
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: have all kinds of conversations about how this family needs
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: to be disrupted for a lot of different reasons. She's like,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: not on Lydia's day though, No, Yeah, this is about
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: my sister Lydia, sof Veronica, and she's not gonna She's not.
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: It's not no because Mariah has yet to arrive at
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: the shindig, and when she does, I think it's going
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: to go down well.
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: And I'm pretty sure I think I saw previews like
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: when the season was like airing that I think Veronica
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: does confront Mariah and I don't know if it's at
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: this proposal day or if it's at the wedding, but
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: I know she confronts her like at a big event
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: or whatever, and it's like so inappropriate, like it's not
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: the time to do this, and like Ethan is trying
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: to express that in his best chromagnum way, which is like,
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: there's gonna be funerals, there's gonna be birthdays, Like you're
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: gonna have to be present for these things, and you're
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: gonna have to be able to tolerate it. And he
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: says to the camera like it's that age old saying
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: if you want to have friends, you have to be friendly,
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: and I think that that's true. Like a heard he
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: compares this situation to what happened with Olivia, which I
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: thought was interesting because he's like, this is the same
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: shit that Olivia did, where she picks a hill to
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: die on, and that's what she's got to do. She's
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: got to pick all these little hills to die on
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: and make a big deal out of all this stuff
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: when it's like not always the best time. It's just
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: not always the best time.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: No, And there's something to be said for that, yes,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: and if the end result of what you really want.
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: If your goal is to create a sense of peace
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: and harmony with people, then you would be mindful of
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: the right time to talk about things and to approach people.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: And that's the thing. Though, I don't think Veronica wants peace.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: I don't think she wants harmony. I think she wants
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: to sew discord. I think she wants to cause trouble.
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: That's why we've got her on FaceTime with Olivia, just
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: trying to make trouble.
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: Yep.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: And I can understand the impulse. I get it. I
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: can see why she's hurt. Of course, I can see
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: why she really needed the family to rally around her.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: But like Mariah's their sibling and daughter, and like, there's
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: just some things that make it more difficult Veronica. And
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: it would be really cool if you just learned how
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: to be a little bit more mature. In my opinion,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: it's moot though, because we know that after the wedding
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: Lydia and Zach's wedding that I think Isaac dumps Vernica,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: although I think Veronica, I'm sorry, Micah, Micah dumps Veronica.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: Although I think Veronica is trying to say that she
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: dumped Micah, but I actually don't think that's what happened.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: I think Micah goes to the hospital because Isaac kicks
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: his ass and he doesn't even tell Veronica, and then
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: it's over. It's all done, and Veronica, you have everything
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: to do with that, just like Micah does well.
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: And it's like you're not listening to anybody, like Ethan
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: is literally trying to tell you that Mariah is deeply
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: affected by this situation that happened with you and her,
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: Like she is so affected that Ethan says she's unrecognizable,
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: like her appearance is unrecognizable. She looks fucking sad. I
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: felt the beginning of this episode startled that she is
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: deeply troubled and it's obvious to everyone but you apparently,
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: and you don't care. You don't give a shit that
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: she's deeply affected by it, because you only care about
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: how you feel about the situation. And even though Mariah
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: tried to apologize to you and the best way that
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: she knows how, which is in writing, and I think
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: her apology was earnest.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: I do too. I thought it was really articulate and wonderful, It's.
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: Still not good enough for you and Ethan does say,
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: He's like, you know, Mariah should make it right for
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: write with you in person. She should try to apologize
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: to you. But like Veronica, you need to do your
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: best to try and see her side instead of just
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: only seeing everything through your own lens. It's like crazy,
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: Ronica is toxic. She's hellotoxicus.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: She's super toxic, and.
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: Like Micah tries to tell her, like, can't you just
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: be thankful for something? And she's like, no, it's not thanksgiving.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: It's like, oh, which I mean right, It's like, oh
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: my god, yeah, she ate with that. I'm like, no,
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: that's a toxic really unkind yep, it's really ungrateful, it's
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: really it's really unattractive.
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: It's not emotionally mature in the slightest.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: Oh, it's mean. You're a mean person, super mean. And
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: if you want to show me a different version of yourself,
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: because you're just hurt in this moment, like I'm willing
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: to see it, but like what I have seen so far,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: you're controlling your mercurial and your.
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: Mean, your mean, and then you're still popping off.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: My line one year later, cannot control yourself emotionally unregulated.
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: And then we get to the preview for next week's
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: episode and we have Zach in a suit and he's
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: bossing everybody around. According to Ethan, Ethan doesn't like the
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: fact that this guy that he thinks is gay is
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: telling him what to do on the day of Lydia's proposal.
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: It's a very special day for Zach and he's being
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: very intentional. And I'm sorry, Ethan, get over it, I know.
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: And like Ethan just gets so red hot mad about it,
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: and he's like, I want to throw him in the water.
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: I'm like, chill, dude, such Taurus. I'm just kidding.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: Oh, I forgot. He's a tor You can't tell him
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: what to do.
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: No, I think that's kind of what it is. I
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: think we did their birth churts a while ago. I
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: think he's got a lot.
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: Of Tourus and that's Taurus as well. Yeah, he's an
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: unmovable object.
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: Yes, And it's like, chill out, bro.
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: The answer is no, he's not going to No.
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: He's not. And then we have Lydia who's getting ready
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: for the special day. She thinks she's going to spend
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: a day with her dad, but Barry is going to
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: drive her over to the field where she's going to
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: get proposed, and she looks so cute, she looks a
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: little redstress.
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: I can't take it. She's so pretty, She's a ray
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: of sunshine. She is so sweet, young lady.
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: And you know, I will say, like, at least she's
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: getting married to somebody like Zach who is a little
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: bit more soft and everything, like, at least there's that. Yeah,
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: she's not getting married to like some abusive drug exactly exactly.
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: And then we have Ethan who wants to kind of
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: test or haze Zach a little bit, some kind of prank,
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: but he wants to test him because he's like, I
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: gotta do it because if he's going to propose to
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: my my sister. And then Veronica is literally egging him
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: on and is like, yeah, let's do it. We got
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: a test.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: It set fire to the.
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: And then they set the fire, and I'm like, is
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: this the fire you were talking about, Veronica when you
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: made the accusation that he tried to set Zach on fire?
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: Because you see Zach in the previews that's putting out
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: the fire.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: Oh my god, honey. If she is equating this prank
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: from Ethan and having Zach stomp the fire out because
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: it's a joke as them trying to set him on fire,
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: as the homophobic hate crime. I will never ever get
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: over it. That was nice, so ridiculous and awful. That's
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: a demonic spirit. I am now entering the realm of
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: the principalities and the power, yes, which we have to
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: pray against Veronica.
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: Now can people? I'm like, is this what you were embellished?
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: Because there was a fire a fire, Veronica?
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: And if it's just a fucking stupid brother prank and
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: it's nothing about homophobia or anything of that nature, and
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: this is when and you participated in.
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: It, and you instigated it, you egged it.
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: On that vibe.
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: But that's the cocreta. Just how damn seriously good episodes? Girl?
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: This season honey is fucking fire fire, let me tell
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: you like that was My other takeaway is like, whatever
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: Plathfyll is doing Sister Wives, you need to pay attention
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: because they were listening to the notes, they were paying
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: attention to what the zeitgeist and the ether was saying,
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: and they changed stuff. They made Kim admit to her
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: do you why? And they're showing us more of the
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: inner workings of this family and the divorce and what's
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: happening and all of these things. It's so interesting. Of course,
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: we hate everybody, everybody sucks, things are bad and everything,
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: but it is more authentic.
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: Yep.
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: It's more raw and gritty and I'm loving it. And
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: oh my god, I have hope Beatrice too. We're going
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: to get to the wedding and they're going to show
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: us that there was a fucking fight between Isaac and
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: Micah and Micah almost had a dislodged nose off of his.
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: Bag because I want to know how it even got
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: to that point, what happened. I want to know what happened.
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: Why is Isaac drinking? He's only nineteen years old.
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: And Lydia is apparently drinking according to Vera, I.
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: Mean, give me one margarita, I mean apparently Veronica's like
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: I've seen her tank a lot of Margarita's, and so
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: these kids are drinking underage at the West to there's violins.
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: I mean, I want to see it all. I want
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: to see it. Every single Oh we eat so good
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: to me, he is so good at a dupes is
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: so good, so fun? Yeah, Well, is there anything else
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: that we need to say to these beautiful raccoons before
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: we get up on out of here, Beatrice.

- 1:29:24Speaker 1: and review one of these controversial shows that has really
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: got polarized audiences, and when we do, they start a

- 1:29:37Speaker 1: yet given us a good review, even if you disagree
