- 2:01Speaker 3: and made a movie of it. In fact, there's silver
- 2:06Speaker 3: sequels of it. And this one sort of launched as well.
- 2:17Speaker 3: And we are going to I say, Boston pretty much,

- 3:11Speaker 3: seems like any ordinary peaceful form house in Rhode Island suburbs,
- 3:17Speaker 3: once inside, the home's history begins to unravel for your eyes.
- 3:25Speaker 3: The friendly of course, a farcade fades and the realiza
- 3:33Speaker 3: realize they should that is the Home away from Conjuring franchise.
- 3:42Speaker 3: But don't be mistaken. The story doesn't is not just
- 3:47Speaker 3: tell by Hollywood, is actually the truth. An authentic Blonial
- 3:57Speaker 3: era Estates Conjuring House is its own abdorably called in
- 4:08Speaker 3: our incests visitors oliment I mean, the Conjuring House is
- 4:15Speaker 3: most adoringly called entices visitors, with its mysterious and horror
- 4:25Speaker 3: bying history built in seventeen thirty six, It has allowed
- 4:33Speaker 3: those to dare to set foot on the property to
- 4:38Speaker 3: visit a by gone era, while also coming face to
- 4:44Speaker 3: face with the whos and plagued the families who lived there.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Though the conjuring film was fictionized, truth is always stranger
- 4:58Speaker 3: in fiction. That's Stamen. Shall we look the look into
- 5:06Speaker 3: experience it the other haunts New England yourself to see
- 5:13Speaker 3: if there's offer a historically accurate ghost tour in your city.
- 5:22Speaker 3: But where is the conjured House? It's in the deep
- 5:28Speaker 3: quiet countryside of Harrisville, Rhode Island, stands a house with
- 5:33Speaker 3: history so chilling and inspired one of the scariest horror
- 5:39Speaker 3: films of all time, The Serie Farmhouse. The real country
- 5:45Speaker 3: house was once home to the Baron family, who experienced
- 5:51Speaker 3: years of breathless hauntings, strange noises, shadowy figures, and sinister
- 6:00Speaker 3: occurrences tormented. The most feared pleasence of all was Bashi
- 6:08Speaker 3: and angry spirit said to have first land found me.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Suffering was so extreme that then pray As the famed
- 6:21Speaker 3: paranormal investigators and A Lorraine Warren stepped into the to
- 6:29Speaker 3: uncover the dark horse that play. But what they found
- 6:35Speaker 3: only deep and mystery, and the horror is that still
- 6:41Speaker 3: haunted today read or we'll find out, and the Chilean
- 6:50Speaker 3: history and the ghosts that still alert within the walls.
- 6:56Speaker 3: The land where the Conjuring House stands was the first
- 7:00Speaker 3: speeded in sixteen eighty and surrounded by John Smith, one
- 7:06Speaker 3: of the Virginia's early colonists, and later became a part
- 7:10Speaker 3: of the Rhode Island Colony founded by Roger Williams, a
- 7:14Speaker 3: man who believed in religious freedom and separation church and state.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Before it was called the Conjuring House, it was the
- 7:25Speaker 3: Arnold Estate. Even earlier, the land belonged to Richardson family,
- 7:32Speaker 3: followers of Roger Williams. They settled whereafter he was vanished
- 7:40Speaker 3: with the Massachusettstate Colony for challenging the government and demanded
- 7:46Speaker 3: more rights for the While the original state was relatively large,
- 7:55Speaker 3: the best way to preserve the lands to be personal
- 8:00Speaker 3: to those close who choose to follow him in his teachings,
- 8:08Speaker 3: a sort of reward for their support. With more than
- 8:13Speaker 3: one thousand acres to split up, he got to work
- 8:16Speaker 3: and sold parcels to families in the area, some which
- 8:22Speaker 3: still great great bred children lived in the areas today.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Because women did not have the rights of their own
- 8:31Speaker 3: property at the time. Their estate was transferred through marriage
- 8:36Speaker 3: and from the first colonist Richardson family later landed and
- 8:42Speaker 3: landed in the Arnold family's hands. The house stands today
- 8:49Speaker 3: just as it did in seventeen thirty six. It is
- 8:54Speaker 3: whether coastal storms witness stay suddenly a decoration of independence,
- 9:04Speaker 3: and survived the devastated hurricane nineteen thirty eight and destroyed
- 9:10Speaker 3: many home nearby homes. It has stood through the Revolutionary War,
- 9:16Speaker 3: Civil War, rise of industry in America, and true peace history.
- 9:23Speaker 3: It remains preserved just as a window into the past,
- 9:30Speaker 3: as the official Conjuring House website says, eight generations of
- 9:36Speaker 3: one extended family that live and die in it, and
- 9:42Speaker 3: apparently some of them never left, were visited, with some
- 9:48Speaker 3: frequently because of the historical historical chronicles the time were desperate.
- 9:57Speaker 3: This or what was recorded was not salvage. Is impossible
- 10:05Speaker 3: to know the fullest extent of its past, but one
- 10:09Speaker 3: thing is known. The house speaks to those who know
- 10:15Speaker 3: and how to listen the history, and the history has
- 10:21Speaker 3: a story to tell we all never knew at all,
- 10:27Speaker 3: some of which has been lost in the annuals of time,
- 10:31Speaker 3: but one thing is served. There are a few places
- 10:35Speaker 3: like it much remain intact on the planet and should
- 10:40Speaker 3: have been protected and defendit a copts. Before the Conjuring
- 10:47Speaker 3: House was purchased by its current owners in twenty nineteen,
- 10:53Speaker 3: it was owned by most well known family regarding our
- 10:58Speaker 3: homes story parts, the homes pass spans over eight generations,
- 11:08Speaker 3: during which represents reportedly by drowning, murder, hanging, and by poison.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Most of the stories heard why the horror franchise were
- 11:25Speaker 3: basically council of the parent effect Karen and Roger Parrin,
- 11:30Speaker 3: who lived in the home with their five daughters during
- 11:34Speaker 3: the nineteen seventies. Almost immediately this small but strange event
- 11:40Speaker 3: started happening. Wasn't long for these events escated as escalated tremendously.
- 11:50Speaker 3: One of the first reports from Caroline herself, she stated
- 11:55Speaker 3: that she knows the broom disappearing as if one of
- 12:01Speaker 3: her children was hiding it, but when they promised and
- 12:09Speaker 3: pleaded that with her that it wasn't down, she also
- 12:14Speaker 3: began to know small piles of dirt and freshly swept kitchen.
- 12:20Speaker 3: The parentids also began to report seeing apparitions all around
- 12:25Speaker 3: this time, almost at first, but started to see shadows
- 12:30Speaker 3: in the corners during footsteps and watching as their bedroom
- 12:35Speaker 3: doors opened a bit on their own. The family's experience
- 12:41Speaker 3: began to shift to something more sinister. The report of
- 12:46Speaker 3: their beds with shade at five point fifteen every morning,
- 12:51Speaker 3: and Roger Perrin report a cold, stinking presence behind him
- 13:00Speaker 3: anytime entered the basement. Other members of parent family also
- 13:05Speaker 3: burt smells of writing flesh throughout the home. One spirit
- 13:12Speaker 3: in the home, also portrayed in the movies, apparently she
- 13:17Speaker 3: was just as angry in real life, has shown them
- 13:20Speaker 3: the big screen. The Alice parent daughter Andrea said this
- 13:25Speaker 3: about Bathsheba. Whoever, whoever the spirit was, she preserved herself
- 13:32Speaker 3: to be a mistress of the house, and she represented
- 13:38Speaker 3: she resented the competition my mother proposed for that position.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Bathsheba said to be responsible for throwing objects, slimmon doors,
- 13:56Speaker 3: chattering blacks. One night, Carolyn was in the liber room
- 14:01Speaker 3: when she felt a sharp pain on her leg. She
- 14:05Speaker 3: looked down and only define but trickling from a small womb,
- 14:11Speaker 3: almost if she had been someone had stabbed her. The
- 14:16Speaker 3: large needle turns out. A woman named Bashiba said reside
- 14:24Speaker 3: on the property in mid eighteen hundreds. Her name was
- 14:27Speaker 3: Basheba Serman, and her neighbors believed her to be have
- 14:33Speaker 3: dabbled in witchcraft, where she even had some evidence of
- 14:38Speaker 3: her involvement the death of it infant. But Sheba even
- 14:43Speaker 3: buried nearby by the home. After the parent family experiences
- 14:50Speaker 3: increased in severity have welcomed the Loveland so verity and
- 15:01Speaker 3: became a levolent, they called upon a couple most trusted
- 15:07Speaker 3: in the names of the field of the paranormal that
- 15:10Speaker 3: would be dam Lorraine warn Ed and Lorraine had investigated
- 15:16Speaker 3: over ten thousand cases of pontoons and their parent home
- 15:22Speaker 3: was just another feather in their pack. One way that
- 15:27Speaker 3: Ed and Lorraine were said to make contact with the
- 15:30Speaker 3: dead was through a seans. They performed one of the
- 15:35Speaker 3: in the parent homes where Caroline parents seemed to have
- 15:39Speaker 3: become possessed, speaking in tongues and raising in the air
- 15:44Speaker 3: against gravity with her chair. Andrea parents saw the whole thing.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Inscribed the feeling of being faint while listening to her
- 15:55Speaker 3: mother speaking language who was not known of this world,
- 16:00Speaker 3: a voice that is not not a baron After this seance,
- 16:07Speaker 3: Carolyn seemed to return to normal and rogers to the warnings,
- 16:11Speaker 3: leaving the property. Famous stayed in the home until nineteen eighty,
- 16:16Speaker 3: when they would afford to leave. When they moved their
- 16:20Speaker 3: experiences cease. Carolyn Perrin describes the home as this magical
- 16:30Speaker 3: is portal magical. It's a portal beverly disguised as a farmhouse.
- 16:38Speaker 3: It's multiple dimensions in contracting, as Simultan say simultaneously these
- 16:47Speaker 3: days in the home is the new hands and operated
- 16:52Speaker 3: idea that the history and home should be acceptable to
- 16:57Speaker 3: anyone who's the house of property or opera. The story
- 17:03Speaker 3: of the Conjuring House sure to live on at least
- 17:07Speaker 3: another few generations. And if you're dying to learn more,
- 17:15Speaker 3: we could go to Boston goes.
- 17:19Speaker 1: So there too.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Now, if you explored the terrifying history of the Conjury House,
- 17:26Speaker 3: from demodic possession to eerie whispers in tonight, you know
- 17:33Speaker 3: what that's haunted this legacy. The haunting is legendary. The
- 17:40Speaker 3: Conjuring House located has become a hotspot. Their normal investigators,
- 17:45Speaker 3: drawn by a lingering experiences of that Sheba, the angry
- 17:49Speaker 3: spirit of woman, becuse the butchcraft It tells the possessions,
- 17:55Speaker 3: people speaking at unknown tongues, the shadowy figure working in
- 17:59Speaker 3: the dark. This house remains one of the most chilling
- 18:05Speaker 3: places newing.
- 18:07Speaker 1: We had.
- 18:08Speaker 3: We hope that this story sparked your interest in the
- 18:13Speaker 3: dark history of this song. There's so much more to uncover,
- 18:20Speaker 3: and if you're paring more spooky stories, you could go
- 18:26Speaker 3: to Boston Boston Ghosts and there's a article here that
- 18:38Speaker 3: I guess the there's a few people. I think that
- 18:43Speaker 3: Ghost Center has been there. I know Ghost Adventure has
- 18:47Speaker 3: been there, also Ghost Moms. This is from Ghost Moms
- 18:52Speaker 3: and cell and uh it is from Really Jordan's and
- 18:59Speaker 3: the two Girlfriends to Go smallms bravely terrifying night in
- 19:03Speaker 3: Rhode Island's farmhouse that inspired the franchise. To be honest,
- 19:13Speaker 3: I didn't really care for horror on these by love
- 19:16Speaker 3: being scared. Those traits certainly well in twenty twenty when
- 19:22Speaker 3: I found out the house that inspired the hit film
- 19:26Speaker 3: Conjuring the Latest Element the Devil made me do it?
- 19:31Speaker 3: What's streaming now? That's also a good one to be
- 19:37Speaker 3: booked for overnight days. Property is infamous for some creepy
- 19:43Speaker 3: events that happens in nineteen seventy involvement paranormal investigators and
- 19:49Speaker 3: Loraine Warren and the haunting of the parent family. Fortunately,
- 19:55Speaker 3: I have two closed girlfriends sisters Live Beetle and Emily Pink,
- 20:05Speaker 3: who are just intriguing as I am. Friends and family.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Now cost the ghost Woods. We rutely investigate weportedly haunted
- 20:17Speaker 3: locations together and post about it and social media. It's
- 20:22Speaker 3: unique kind of moms night out. We all meet together
- 20:28Speaker 3: through our kids at school. In a way, we're more
- 20:31Speaker 3: fun than a club. So we decided to travel island
- 20:36Speaker 3: that year to back the country house now known as
- 20:40Speaker 3: the Farmhouse or Roadtop Road. We flew into the providence
- 20:45Speaker 3: and drove a little more than thirty minutes to the
- 20:49Speaker 3: hairs Bille. Winding Country Roads brought us the old Flitboard
- 20:58Speaker 3: colonial owned by Fory and Jennifer Heusen at the time,
- 21:03Speaker 3: who brought the property in nineteen The couple met us
- 21:07Speaker 3: at the door to give us a tour. Opening up
- 21:11Speaker 3: the house for overnight investigations had always been their plan
- 21:17Speaker 3: once in a lifetime, thaying for experiences of the purchase.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Originally from Maine, the two had been involved in their
- 21:27Speaker 3: normal communities for years as well, and Love made the
- 21:33Speaker 3: point verifying the truth from the dramaization of the movies
- 21:40Speaker 3: poy and formalist, that we've been, that we have been,
- 21:45Speaker 3: their fory had born less, that they have been. No
- 21:48Speaker 3: violent dance reported in the house to which in the
- 21:53Speaker 3: movie Basheba Sherman was simply a neighbor during the eighty undans.
- 21:59Speaker 3: That's grateful as we are that knowledge that make us
- 22:04Speaker 3: any less fearful of the evening head.
- 22:09Speaker 1: We knew that we.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Bought it when we wanted to be able to share
- 22:15Speaker 3: it because the people, as Jennifer nodding, as they han't
- 22:23Speaker 3: experienced nothing negative. Why keep the place like this to ourselves?
- 22:29Speaker 3: So in nineteen thirty six the house itself of farm
- 22:34Speaker 3: Farmhouse will stick with the occasional Ouiji board and raggedyandolf
- 22:44Speaker 3: throwing in for a good measure. Most paranormal activities in
- 22:51Speaker 3: doing books falling off the shelves by themselves in a
- 22:56Speaker 3: library and showy figures are often seeing us stairs in
- 23:00Speaker 3: the bedroom where one of the parent daughters was frequently
- 23:05Speaker 3: attacked by the unseen force. The Heysans stay on the
- 23:11Speaker 3: property in an nnex of the house during all all
- 23:17Speaker 3: overnight books nothing about us arguing with them. Around eleven
- 23:23Speaker 3: o'clock PM, we started an investigation library turn off all
- 23:28Speaker 3: the lights. Within minutes, the nearby mentioned motion detector was
- 23:34Speaker 3: triggered repoortly for no apparent reason. There were also preaks
- 23:41Speaker 3: in the living room as someone was walking by. Upstairs,
- 23:48Speaker 3: we sat down on a bedroom we were we did
- 23:52Speaker 3: there where the attacks took place. Again, a motion detector
- 23:56Speaker 3: went on and we saw a ball of light the
- 24:00Speaker 3: corner where there was no obvious source. Shadows seemed to
- 24:06Speaker 3: be closing in on us, and our tool prompt us
- 24:11Speaker 3: to all pile into bed. What can I say? There
- 24:15Speaker 3: were just something about three room women snuggling together that
- 24:22Speaker 3: could literally make things less cod a little scary downstairs
- 24:28Speaker 3: the basement was a lesson and not to have just
- 24:34Speaker 3: how hard it was to navigate into the dark. All
- 24:39Speaker 3: versus came heightened, and every little noise ceased to jump
- 24:45Speaker 3: a scare. Don't get us started. How many sink skins
- 24:51Speaker 3: dangled from left exactly where the former occupants I just
- 24:58Speaker 3: created one the that brought in a whole new level
- 25:02Speaker 3: of fear, especially for Emily. As we were standing under
- 25:07Speaker 3: the room next to the old well a table somehow
- 25:10Speaker 3: shifted into Liz's leg, even there was no one next
- 25:15Speaker 3: to it. We returned to the library and the wee
- 25:20Speaker 3: hours of the morning, I had taken some books from
- 25:25Speaker 3: on the shelf, and right after I placed them, one
- 25:28Speaker 3: of them fell off and hit the four hard. We
- 25:33Speaker 3: didn't say. We didn't say for sure what caused it
- 25:37Speaker 3: from OCD enough to know when I when I pushed
- 25:42Speaker 3: them all on the back wall and even aligned them
- 25:46Speaker 3: in the top on the top because they didn't want
- 25:49Speaker 3: them to look disturbed. Called the night. Around four thirty am,
- 25:55Speaker 3: we all went upstairs to sleep. I meant I kept
- 25:59Speaker 3: my head be covered by seeking all the scenes from
- 26:03Speaker 3: the movie, embracing it through my head, and there was
- 26:08Speaker 3: no way I was peeking out to see who the
- 26:12Speaker 3: knight was standing there. When daylight we started brightening the room,
- 26:21Speaker 3: I was utterly over overwhelmedly and more than a little
- 26:26Speaker 3: proud that I had had made it through the night
- 26:30Speaker 3: without leaving early. Even sigm in our rental part as
- 26:36Speaker 3: always whenever we finished the investigation, uniform of the spirits
- 26:42Speaker 3: out loud that they are not allowed to falls home.
- 26:46Speaker 3: On the drive back to our hotel, we all decided
- 26:50Speaker 3: that the house was horrifically awesome and worth every terrifying
- 26:57Speaker 3: move and that's from the ghost Moms. And there's some
- 27:07Speaker 3: interviews with they had with missus paren and she will
- 27:19Speaker 3: She ended up explaining about Besheba and what she went
- 27:24Speaker 3: through that that terrible days and nights and find with
- 27:31Speaker 3: the uh the Warrens and UH it was sure there's
- 27:41Speaker 3: interviews with that. I know there's one on m HM
- 27:46Speaker 3: m H ghost Stories, but I'm sure there's other ones
- 27:51Speaker 3: that she had they have her interview on, but yeah,
- 27:57Speaker 3: check it out and be anyone has gone the Conjuring
