Speaker 3: proof that Biden's Attorney General Mary Garland and definite Attorney

Speaker 3: General Lisa Monico, plus the FBI Director Christopher Ray all

Speaker 3: more details on that in a second. We also got

Speaker 3: new word from the FBI director that law and order

Speaker 3: and make the switch today. It's the forty seven Morning
• 3:15
Speaker 3: Update and it starts right now.
• 3:17
  Speaker 2: Story number one.
• 3:18
Speaker 3: It happened several years ago, but we're now finally starting
• 3:22
Speaker 3: to get to the bottom of the corruption at the
• 3:24
Speaker 3: deep state under Joe Biden's leadership. You may remember us
• 3:29
Speaker 3: talking about Arctic frost, and that was an FBI DOJ
• 3:33
Speaker 3: investigation that was open in April of twenty twenty two
• 3:37
Speaker 3: as a quote sensitive investigative matter. It focused on efforts
• 3:42
Speaker 3: they claimed at the time to overturn the twenty twenty election.
• 3:48
Speaker 3: That's right, they were saying that Donald Trump was trying
• 3:52
Speaker 3: to overthrow the will of the people. Multiple outlets and
• 3:56
Speaker 3: Senator Chuck Grassey's committee are now describing it as a
• 4:00
Speaker 3: precursor to Jack Smith's DC case against Donald Trump. Grassley's
• 4:07
Speaker 3: office says agents issued hundreds of subpoenas, conducted dozens of interviews,
• 4:13
Speaker 3: and sought call records for eight Republican Senators and one
• 4:17
Speaker 3: House member from January the fourth through the seventh of
• 4:21
Speaker 3: twenty twenty one. We now know that list has expanded
• 4:24
Speaker 3: and now include Senator Ted Cruz. We also know that
• 4:28
Speaker 3: not only were they spawing on elected members of Congress
• 4:31
Speaker 3: that were Republicans only, they also targeted GOP aligned organizations.
• 4:38
Speaker 3: Notable actions linked to Arctic Frost include the FBI's August ninth,
• 4:44
Speaker 3: twenty twenty two seizure of Representative Scott Perry's phone surveillance
• 4:50
Speaker 3: es to locate him and brought a request tied to
• 4:53
Speaker 3: alternate electors. Later elements fed into Special Council Jack Smith's.
• 4:59
Speaker 4: Work, which brings us to the new bombshell.
• 5:04
Speaker 3: Chuck Grassley has now released documents, he says, show proof
• 5:09
Speaker 3: that the Attorney General Merritt Garland, the Deputy Attorney General
• 5:12
Speaker 3: Lisa Monico, and FBI Director Chrisopher Ray personally approved opening
• 5:18
Speaker 3: Arctic Frost in April of twenty twenty two. Multiple write
• 5:22
Speaker 3: ups cite the memo and handwritten sign offs, and Grassley
• 5:26
Speaker 3: posted the claims publicly as well. Now, Grassley's characterization is simple.
• 5:32
Speaker 3: He framed Arctic Frost as a sweeping partisan overreach that
• 5:38
Speaker 3: weaponized law enforcement and surveilled members of Congress. He ties
• 5:44
Speaker 3: it to Smiths now dismissed DC case. And that's just
• 5:48
Speaker 3: the tip of the iceberg. So let's break this down
• 5:51
Speaker 3: a little bit more. The former Attorney General Merrick Garland
• 5:54
Speaker 3: and former FBI Director Ray decided to approve the sense
• 5:58
Speaker 3: of matter, and that led to the surveillance of virtually
• 6:02
Speaker 3: every Republican that we know of right now. It helped
• 6:05
Speaker 3: spark a Special Council probe, which was what it was
• 6:08
Speaker 3: designed to do into Donald Trump's quote efforts to overturn
• 6:12
Speaker 3: the twenty twenty election.
• 6:14
Speaker 4: That obviously was a lie.
• 6:16
Speaker 3: Grassley and Now signed the new documents he received from
• 6:19
Speaker 3: the Department of Justice and Garland's approval of the Sensitive
• 6:23
Speaker 3: Investigation matter on April the fifth of twenty twenty two,
• 6:27
Speaker 3: recommended by the Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monico, and what
• 6:31
Speaker 3: it did was authorize the FBI's Washington Field office to
• 6:36
Speaker 3: launch a quote full investigation into what officials described as
• 6:42
Speaker 3: an artecutable factual basis indicating the existence of a federal
• 6:47
Speaker 3: crime quote unquote they said involved Trump and individuals closely
• 6:52
Speaker 3: associated with Donald Trump, which is exactly how they opened
• 6:55
Speaker 3: the fishing expedition to go after Trump and to try
• 6:59
Speaker 3: to lock him up. Now, the launch of Arctic Frost
• 7:02
Speaker 3: and the investigation would then lead to the appointment of
• 7:05
Speaker 3: the Special Council Jack Smith in November of twenty twenty
• 7:09
Speaker 3: two quote proof that bien Attorney General Merritt Garland, deput
• 7:13
Speaker 3: Attorney General Lisa Monico, and FBI Director Ray all personally
• 7:17
Speaker 3: approved opening Arctic Frost. Grassley said in his statement, this
• 7:22
Speaker 3: investigation least unchecked government power at the highest levels. My
• 7:28
Speaker 3: oversight will continue, Grassley says. Grassey also announced earlier this
• 7:33
Speaker 3: month that at least nine Republican centers now were targeted
• 7:37
Speaker 3: by the FBI in this probe. On October sixth, Grassley
• 7:41
Speaker 3: said FBI agents conducted toll record analysis, a form of
• 7:46
Speaker 3: communications metadata review, on several GOP lawmakers, including Center Lindsay
• 7:51
Speaker 3: Graham of South Carolina, Josh Harley of Missouri, Ron Johnson Wisconsin,
• 7:56
Speaker 3: and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee. The toll analysis sins the
• 8:00
Speaker 3: phones could have revealed whom each lawmaker contacted by caller
• 8:05
Speaker 3: texts in the day surrounding the January the sixth, twenty
• 8:09
Speaker 3: twenty one Capitol riot. Grassley called this worse than Watergate.
• 8:15
Speaker 3: In addition, ninety two Republican or conservative aligned groups and individuals,
• 8:21
Speaker 3: including Turning Point USA, co founded by slain Conservative leader
• 8:26
Speaker 3: Charlie Kirk, were also targeted, suggesting that Arctich Frost was
• 8:31
Speaker 3: quote much broader than just an electoral matter, Grassley said
• 8:35
Speaker 3: during the briefing. He said this shows now that they
• 8:39
Speaker 3: were targeting their political adversaries. Arctich Frost wasn't just a
• 8:44
Speaker 3: case to politically investigate Trump. It was the vehicle by
• 8:48
Speaker 3: which partisan GOP agents and DOJ prosecutors could achieve their
• 8:54
Speaker 3: partisan ends and improperly investigate the entire Republican political apparatus.
• 9:02
Speaker 3: Grassley added, FBI director Caspittel also coming out vowing transparency
• 9:09
Speaker 3: and accountability following the revelations. After Grassley's announcement, we terminate employees,
• 9:16
Speaker 3: we abolished the weaponized CRDASH fifteen squad, and we initiated
• 9:21
Speaker 3: an ongoing investigation with more accountability measures ahead.
• 9:25
  Speaker 4: Patel said.
• 9:27
Speaker 3: CR fifteen was the FBI's at Washington Field office squad
• 9:31
Speaker 3: focused on investigating federal public corruption. In reality, it was
• 9:36
Speaker 3: just going after conservatives. In May, the FBI quietly disbanded
• 9:41
Speaker 3: cr DASH fifteen and reassigned its agents as part of
• 9:45
Speaker 3: a broader reorganization and shift in priorities. So here we
• 9:50
Speaker 3: are with even more evidence that the Biden administration did
• 9:54
Speaker 3: everything they could, not only to go after Donald Trump,
• 9:57
Speaker 3: but to go after anyone that supported Donald Trump politically,
• 10:01
Speaker 3: and any up and coming conservative that they found a
• 10:05
Speaker 3: threat was then put on their lists to be investigated.
• 10:09
Speaker 3: Thank goodness, President Trump is now in the Oval office
• 10:12
Speaker 3: and the people around him are making sure that this
• 10:15
  Speaker 3: never happens again.
• 10:16
Speaker 4: Now, story number two, President Donald Trump.
• 10:19
Speaker 3: Promised law and order if he was elected president United
• 10:22
Speaker 3: States of America, and clearly that was going far beyond
• 10:26
Speaker 3: the wide open southern border.
• 10:28
Speaker 4: When we now are seeing.
• 10:30
Speaker 3: Major moves by the FBI, this time when it comes
• 10:34
Speaker 3: to illegal gambling and fixing of games at the highest levels.
• 10:39
Speaker 3: Here's what we know from Director Cashpttel. He called the
• 10:43
Speaker 3: operation quote a historic arrests across a wide, sweeping criminal
• 10:47
Speaker 3: enterprise that involved both the NBA and La Cosa Nostra.
• 10:53
Speaker 3: He described the scale of fraud as mind boggling, involving
• 10:58
Speaker 3: tens of millions of dollars in fraud and theft and
• 11:01
Speaker 3: robbery across a multi year investigation, saying, quote, this is
• 11:06
Speaker 3: an illegal gambling operation in sports rigging operation that spanned
• 11:11
Speaker 3: the course of years. In a TV interview, Patel said
• 11:15
Speaker 3: it has nothing to do with legal gambling and has
• 11:19
Speaker 3: everything to do with those in positions of power in
• 11:22
Speaker 3: places like the NBA getting in bed with La Casa
• 11:26
Speaker 3: Nostra and committing acts of extortion, fraud, money laundering, wirefraud,
• 11:33
Speaker 3: and so many other crimes. He warned, this is just
• 11:37
Speaker 3: the start of a broader crackdown. So in short, the
• 11:42
Speaker 3: FBI views this as far more than just a betting scandal.
• 11:46
Speaker 3: It combines sports integrity, organized crime, infiltration, and high tech
• 11:52
Speaker 3: cheating as well as money laundering. There's key elements the
• 11:56
Speaker 3: case that you also need to know about. Number One,
• 12:00
Speaker 3: insider sports betting scheme tied NBA players and coaches who
• 12:05
Speaker 3: allegedly leaked information and manipulated outcomes of games for one
• 12:10
Speaker 3: reason to benefit betters. Number Two, a massive underground poker
• 12:17
Speaker 3: and gambling ring was backed by major mafia families, using
• 12:22
Speaker 3: rigged equipment, altered shuffling machines, X ray tables to see
• 12:27
Speaker 3: the cards as they were faced down, hidden cameras, and
• 12:31
Speaker 3: cheating players and laundering the money afterwards. The ring allegedly
• 12:36
Speaker 3: spanned many states. Eleven states were mentioned at the press conference,
• 12:41
Speaker 3: and then you have major famous NBA figures that were named, coaches,
• 12:46
Speaker 3: former players like Chauncey Billups, current player Terry Roser, and
• 12:51
Speaker 3: former assistant coach and player Damon Jones. Here's more of
• 12:56
Speaker 3: what the FBI had to say at their press conference.
• 12:59
Speaker 5: To be clear, we're announcing today indictments in two major cases,
• 13:05
Speaker 5: both involving fraud. One involves sports betting and the other
• 13:09
Speaker 5: involves illegal gambling, very specifically rigged poker games. The first
• 13:15
Speaker 5: indictment involves six defendants who are alleged to have participated
• 13:20
Speaker 5: one of the most brazen sports corruption schemes since online
• 13:25
Speaker 5: sports betting became widely legalized in the United States. This
• 13:29
Speaker 5: scheme is an insider sports betting conspiracy that exploited confidential
• 13:34
Speaker 5: information about National Basketball Association athletes and teams. The second
• 13:40
Speaker 5: indictment involves thirty one defendants alleged to have participated in
• 13:46
Speaker 5: a nationwide scheme to rig illegal poker games. These defendants,
• 13:53
Speaker 5: which include former professional athletes, used high tech cheating technology
• 13:58
Speaker 5: to steal millions of dollars from victims in underground poker
• 14:02
Speaker 5: games that were secretly fixed. The games in the New
• 14:06
Speaker 5: York area were backed by the Banano, Gambino and Genovesei
• 14:11
Speaker 5: crime families of Lukasinostra Will.
• 14:14
Speaker 4: The cases are separate.
• 14:16
Speaker 5: There are three overlapping defendants charged in both cases, Damon Jones,
• 14:22
Speaker 5: Eric Ernest and Shane Hennen. The indictments in these cases
• 14:27
Speaker 5: contain only allegations, and the defendants are presumed innocent until
• 14:32
Speaker 5: they are proven guilty in a court of law. But
• 14:36
Speaker 5: my message to the defendants who've been rounded up today
• 14:38
Speaker 5: is this, your winning streak has ended. Your luck has
• 14:43
Speaker 5: run out. Violating the law is a losing proposition, and
• 14:48
Speaker 5: you can bet on that there.
• 14:51
Speaker 3: Is no doubt that this is just the beginning of
• 14:53
Speaker 3: a major investigation. As Caspertel put it, organized crime. You're
• 14:58
Speaker 3: on notice, high tech cheeters, you're on notice. Legal sports
• 15:02
Speaker 3: betting is going to be fair and honest, and it
• 15:06
Speaker 3: signals that the law enforcement agency, the FBI, is staring
• 15:10
Speaker 3: them straight down and going after all of them, just
• 15:14
Speaker 3: as Donald Trump promised to restore law and order.
