• 1:57
Speaker 2: But we're starting the show off tonight with with that.
• 1:59
Speaker 2: This to me I find it amusing, do?
• 2:03
Speaker 1: you find it amusing?
• 2:04
  Speaker 1: Yeah, I should.
• 2:05
  Speaker 1: It's not unexpected.
• 2:06
Speaker 1: But you know, if you go back, like I knew Fetterman as the lieutenant governor in Pennsylvania when I lived there and Pennsylvania is still one of those states where the second place vote getter governor is the lieutenant governor Like it's almost like old school president, vice president, like the United States used to do, and he was a big dumb animal back then, like you know he was.
• 2:29
Speaker 1: He was the same guy.
• 2:30
Speaker 1: He is now in the bowling shirts and the hoodies and the shorts and jeans and never dressed up and all of those things.
• 2:36
Speaker 1: Um, and you remember, I I am not a fan, was not I?
• 2:41
Speaker 1: He lost the doctor or he beat Dr Oz for this, for this, you know, um congressional seat, which you know Dr Oz just, you know, got put under um Kennedy jr Right, so he was for, you know, hhs or whoever it is now Um, but you know, fetterman had the stroke, he was stuttering, he had health problems and this and that, and, and the democrats supported him yeah, right, it was the most you know.
• 3:09
Speaker 2: here he is uh in his finest.
• 3:11
Speaker 2: It's probably actually one of his nicer sweatshirts that he's uh been seen as one of his more elegant looks that he's donned, uh, over time.
• 3:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I mean it was as baffling then the support for this guy, and you know what, I'm gonna take that back and say I actually wasn as baffling then the support for this guy, and you know what, I'm going to take that back and say I actually wasn't baffling that they put him forward, because I think what they saw in him was a puppet, like they're like, oh, this guy, he's just a big dumb lug and we're just going to put him out front.
• 3:36
Speaker 2: We're going to we're going to tell him what to say, when to say it.
• 3:39
Speaker 2: We're going to use them as a scapegoat for things Like I think they had a pretty big plan for him and, um, he's uh, he's kind of thrown them.
• 3:49
Speaker 2: I think, like they, they they probably are sitting there or were.
• 3:53
Speaker 2: I mean, this has been going on for a little while now.
• 3:58
Speaker 2: They were probably sitting there the first time he came out and came out and said something you know against the party line there.
• 4:03
Speaker 2: Um, I think they all went, you know, and he and he, um.
• 4:06
Speaker 1: so we've covered this multiple times along the way.
• 4:08
Speaker 1: He has always voted party line.
• 4:12
Speaker 1: Yes, he has come out publicly and said things against the party, but when it came down to casting his ballot, he was always party line.
• 4:20
Speaker 1: Well, now I think he's starting to drift a little bit, um, and they've even co-opted his wife, who's a little bit crazy.
• 4:25
Speaker 1: Anyway, there's been some issues with her along the way, but even she has come out and said oh, he's very, very different.
• 4:32
  Speaker 1: He's thinking.
• 4:34
Speaker 1: He's not thinking the same, he's not.
• 4:36
Speaker 1: You know, maybe there's some difference in his personality.
• 4:39
Speaker 1: There was the issue a couple of weeks ago about him on a plane.
• 4:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, I saw that Flight attendant said put your seatbelt on.
• 4:46
Speaker 1: He basically refused to do it.
• 4:48
Speaker 1: Pilot came out of the you know out of the cockpit and had to say something to him and he basically said you know, hey, listen, if we crash I'm going to die anyway.
• 4:56
Speaker 1: Seatbelt's not going to save me, that kind of thing.
• 4:58
Speaker 1: So, you know, I think the party, in fear of another Joe Biden type incident, I think that they have used his you know, the stroke that he had is, you know, the, you know hiding behind his mental faculties or whatever.
• 5:14
Speaker 1: They're using that again with the President Biden thing to get him out.
• 5:19
Speaker 1: I think that is the goal.
• 5:21
Speaker 1: But I think you're right, it's because he's no longer following party policy.
• 5:25
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean he's you know the stroke is what in like 2000.
• 5:29
Speaker 2: I don't know, it's like 2021, 22, maybe Right, ish, but you know, just just simply for the fact that it was a while ago, he says he's you know has some long term effects from it.
• 5:40
Speaker 2: He has been vocal about his mental health issues, some learning or processing issues.
• 5:50
Speaker 2: I think he has some kind of prompter that he uses that I don't know just like translates everything for him so that he can understand it.
• 5:58
Speaker 2: There's a lot to be said here.
• 6:01
Speaker 2: There's just so much to be said and I'm struggling really hard to say it in a nice way.
• 6:07
Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not going to say that I think somebody who has mental handicaps, I guess we could say should be barred from public service by any means.
• 6:17
Speaker 2: But it is interesting that somebody who has, you know, admitted cognitive issues was even put in this position anyhow.
• 6:25
Speaker 2: So you know and I think that goes back to what I said in the beginning there that you know I think the expectations for him from his party was that you know he was just going to be the dumb lug that sat there and you know pretty much did whatever they told him.
• 6:39
Speaker 2: He has come out over the past I don't know year or two isish and said some very smart, interesting things that were extremely surprising to all of us.
• 6:48
Speaker 2: So I think the only thing I'm surprised at is that it's taken them this long to start going all right, this one's got to go.
• 6:55
Speaker 2: He's getting a little too vocal and saying the wrong things that we don't want to hear.
• 7:00
Speaker 2: So that's my only surprise that it's taken as long as it has.
• 7:04
Speaker 1: Well, I think part of it is my.
• 7:06
Speaker 1: My read is that they finally co-opted his wife.
• 7:08
Speaker 1: You know we had talked about president Biden and you know Dr Jill was such a power player in the white house, you know, even through his mental decline, which that's a whole different topic.
• 7:18
Speaker 1: But similarly, you know, I think they got her on board because she has publicly come out and made statements, and I think that's what it took.
• 7:30
Speaker 1: So you know he's not following party policy, he's not following party line.
• 7:32
Speaker 1: I think they finally had enough of it.
• 7:33
Speaker 1: And now they're exploiting some of the things that they ran him on, which were, you know, his.
• 7:37
Speaker 1: You know he's a different guy.
• 7:38
  Speaker 1: He thinks independently.
• 7:40
Speaker 1: He this, he that one.
• 7:40
Speaker 1: He really was just a Democrat, you know, in a sweatshirt and a pair of basketball shorts.
• 7:44
Speaker 1: But cannibalism, I think, is, you know, they're eating their own and that's what this is Like.
• 7:49
Speaker 1: You follow the lines, you follow the policies, you follow what we're doing or we're getting rid of you.
• 7:54
Speaker 1: And you know I'd have to go back and look at his recent voting record.
• 7:58
Speaker 1: He hadn't strayed on the ballot, but he had strayed publicly in what he was saying.
• 8:01
Speaker 1: So I don't know, maybe this was just, you know, got to the point of, or they were tired of, dealing with him or striking at an opportunity, especially after the incident on the airplane.
• 8:11
Speaker 1: So either way they're working hard to get rid of him.
• 8:14
Speaker 2: Yeah, and I wonder what will happen.
• 8:16
Speaker 2: You know, playing out the scenario that they managed, that they get rid of him, they oust him.
• 8:21
Speaker 2: What will he do?
• 8:22
Speaker 2: Will he switch sides, do you think I mean?
• 8:30
Speaker 1: I don't think he's going to fade off into oblivion.
• 8:31
Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know how much relevancy he'll have, though, afterward.
• 8:34
Speaker 1: Watch again very much, and we've seen this in a couple of other places.
• 8:37
Speaker 1: Watch for a shift from Governor Shapiro to put himself in the congressional seat as part of his run for president.
• 8:46
Speaker 1: But, either way, watch whoever it is from Pennsylvania that gets put in that seat.
• 8:50
Speaker 1: But it wouldn't surprise me if it was Shapiro himself again setting himself up for a presidential run in 2028.
• 8:56
Speaker 2: Right, you know, I think this is one of those things for the Democrat Party that if they don't succeed in getting rid of Fetterman, I think it bodes very badly for them as far as their level of control.
• 9:11
Speaker 2: Because you know, one of two things I think is going to happen with that party they get rid of him.
• 9:16
Speaker 2: If they silence him.
• 9:17
Speaker 2: You know, whatever their tactic is going to be, obviously it's going to be to attack his mental health and capabilities and just destroy his reputation and credibility.
• 9:27
Speaker 2: I don't know how much he had, but if they succeed in that, then their message, their message succeeds to anyone else who wants to go against the grain and, you know, not toe the line, it's the warning that don't do it.
• 9:41
Speaker 2: You do what we say to do.
• 9:43
Speaker 2: And that's that warning that don't do it.
• 9:45
Speaker 2: You do what we say to do, and that's that.
• 9:46
Speaker 2: And then you know the flip side of that is that if he goes entirely rogue, uh, spills whatever beans he has on these people in this party, um, I don't know, they're playing a dangerous game here.
• 9:56
Speaker 2: I, I'm, you know, again, it's one of those get your popcorn moments, because it's going to be very curious to see how it plays out.
• 10:02
Speaker 1: Yeah, he could be, you know, like you said, rogue agent, he could, you know, flip to an I instead of a D, an independent, the way he feels.
• 10:12
Speaker 1: It'll be interesting to see the reaction, you know, back in the Keystone State PA.
• 10:16
Speaker 1: But yeah, this is a dangerous game, but I think it's strategic by the Democratic Party and I think he is going to be a sacrificial lamb, or that's how they see him.
• 10:26
Speaker 1: We'll just have to see how it plays out.
• 10:28
Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely, and I want to echo what you said early on, that you know his, what he has said publicly and what he has voted are two very different things, and I think that's really important to emphasize, because I saw, you know, I posted like kind of like a pre show teaser, um show, uh teaser, you know for this, with a caption and image and everything, and I did happen to quickly catch a couple of comments in there that you know somebody had said, uh, that they they judged him wrongly, like you know, like they put them in a better light, and I, I would say, be very careful with that line of thinking with him.
• 11:01
Speaker 2: Don't, don't be deceived that this guy is, uh, you know, any friend to the conservative um viewpoint on on things.
• 11:08
Speaker 2: You know he's definitely said some things that are favorable and intelligent, um, but yeah, don't, uh, don't go buying him a beer yet, guys.
• 11:17
Speaker 1: Yeah, we've pointed that out at probably a half a dozen times over the last couple of months really, uh, over the last year really, but uh year really.
• 11:24
Speaker 1: But he is again, speaks well, makes some very bipartisan, very centrist kind of statements, but he's voted on the blue team the whole time, so we'll see what happens.
• 11:36
Speaker 1: But we've got bigger and better things, some international politics, going on.
• 11:39
  Speaker 1: Yeah, we do.
• 11:41
  Speaker 1: Yeah, we do.
• 11:41
Speaker 1: President Trump on a three-country tour right now.
• 11:44
Speaker 1: He Qatar, uae and Saudi Arabia.
• 11:49
  Speaker 1: Yes, is it.
• 11:51
Speaker 1: What do you think?
• 11:52
Speaker 1: Is it about economics?
• 11:53
Speaker 1: Is it about international relations?
• 11:55
Speaker 1: Is a little bit of both.
• 11:56
  Speaker 1: What's he doing?
• 12:05
  Speaker 2: of both.
• 12:05
Speaker 2: I mean, you're he's, you know he's got the master plan.
• 12:06
Speaker 2: Just because we don't know fully what it is doesn't mean it's not there.
• 12:08
  Speaker 2: I don't, you know.
• 12:08
Speaker 2: Obviously, of course, the, of course the left has a problem with anything he does, and this would be no different.
• 12:13
Speaker 2: I certainly have no problem with I get my you know that that mom anxiety when he does these big trips and everything you know, which is kind of absurd.
• 12:23
Speaker 2: I mean, he's literally the president of the United States and this is what he has to do and this is what he loves to do, all of this.
• 12:29
Speaker 2: So I mean, I see only good things to come from this.
• 12:32
Speaker 2: Let's see, he secured $600 billion investment commitment with Saudi Arabia and he's engaging with talks with Qatar and the I can't see it because I didn't make that font big enough Clay UAE.
• 12:44
Speaker 2: He also met with Syria's new president.
• 12:53
Speaker 2: What else has he done?
• 12:54
Speaker 2: Paper notes this time, guys.
• 12:55
Speaker 2: I took it off the computer.
• 12:56
Speaker 2: No shame in my game.
• 12:58
Speaker 2: Let's see, yeah, and he's doing great things as far as I'm concerned.
• 13:00
Speaker 2: Do you see any holes in that?
• 13:02
  Speaker 2: Any problems?
• 13:04
  Speaker 1: I think so.
• 13:05
Speaker 1: Yes, I think that, especially in that part of the world, economics and diplomacy go hand in hand and economics is diplomacy.
• 13:12
Speaker 1: You know there is, there's been conflict over us and our development of domestic oil, right that worries the Saudis, kuwaitis, the entire OPEC clan.
• 13:24
Speaker 1: Oil, right that worries the Saudi, kuwaitis, the entire OPEC clan.
• 13:29
Speaker 1: So I think there's you know he's over there on the on behalf of world.
• 13:31
Speaker 1: You know energy capabilities, so I think there's a lot of discussion going on with the oil.
• 13:36
Speaker 1: You know with about oil, with the OPEC and and really Saudi Arabia being kind of the key to that.
• 13:43
Speaker 1: So that's definitely part of it.
• 13:44
Speaker 1: But you're right, he got massive economic, you know commitments from both Qatar and Saudi Arabia in the first couple of days of this.
• 13:53
Speaker 1: We're talking trillions of dollars of business.
• 13:55
Speaker 1: But you remember we lost under President Biden because they were asleep at the wheel.
• 14:01
Speaker 1: We had that agreement with them that only that OPEC, that oil, opec oil would only be under the US dollar.
• 14:12
Speaker 2: We lost that agreement because it was like one of those like deadline, overnight deadline things that they didn't do anything Right.
• 14:18
  Speaker 2: I remember that.
• 14:19
Speaker 2: Now that you're saying that, yeah, right, so now, you know, damaging to the US dollar.
• 14:23
Speaker 1: So my guess is, behind closed doors, president Trump is trying to reignite something like that, you know, reestablish that, that type of agreement to make sure that that oil is traded or purchased only in US dollars, which will help our economy.
• 14:38
Speaker 1: I do think as well.
• 14:41
Speaker 1: You know, there's that OPEC oil.
• 14:43
Speaker 1: There's connectivity there between Saudi Arabia and China, and then China and Russia.
• 14:51
Speaker 1: Right, we're going to talk tariffs later, but this is all connected.
• 14:55
Speaker 1: And then, of course, you've got people are complaining about Qatar because they're quote unquote.
• 15:01
Speaker 1: They back Hamas, which they've hosted the peace talks, they've hosted a lot of things.
• 15:07
Speaker 1: Al-yadid Air Base is there, we've been operating out of the ports in Qatar for decades.
• 15:12
Speaker 1: Air Base is there, we've been operating out of the ports in Qatar for decades.
• 15:15
Speaker 1: They are a military ally and you know and again, it's a lot of this is economic.
• 15:17
Speaker 1: So we'll see what happens.
• 15:20
Speaker 1: Uae, I think, is going to be much the same, but I think this is all good stuff.
• 15:24
Speaker 1: You know we need for, if nothing else, a strategic tie into the Middle East.
• 15:30
Speaker 1: We will always need, because that threat, you know, the military threat, the threat to peace, you know around the world, but specifically, you know, in the middle East.
• 15:37
Speaker 1: We need ties in there, um, because otherwise we're we're on the outs and we've got no inroads.
• 15:42
Speaker 1: So having these talks with those national level leaders, uh, is very, very important.
• 15:47
Speaker 1: I will say and you, you touched on this People are going to complain, no matter what.
• 15:52
Speaker 1: I saw something this morning.
• 15:53
Speaker 1: You know, president Trump was standing there and a line or maybe it was from yesterday a line of Saudi Arabian general officers, from all of their services were coming up and they were saluting him and he was standing up there and returning their salute.
• 16:04
Speaker 1: And there was this like oh, he's violating US military protocol.
• 16:08
Speaker 1: You know, he's saluting these generals.
• 16:10
Speaker 1: He's being subservient to that.
• 16:12
Speaker 1: That's not anything about what that was.
• 16:14
Speaker 1: That was a common courtesy.
• 16:15
Speaker 1: He's not violating any protocols.
• 16:17
Speaker 1: You know he, they saluted him, he saluted back.
• 16:20
Speaker 1: That happens all the time everywhere.
• 16:23
Speaker 1: So, but again, people are going to find things to complain about, because that's what we do.
• 16:28
Speaker 2: That's what we do and, let's face it, anything that Trump does is bad.
• 16:31
Speaker 2: You know he could rescue he could be caught on video rescuing a baby from a burning building, you know and they would spin it into something god awful, right, oh yeah, positive and for the benefit of the country, which, by the way, that means us, the people of this country.
• 16:55
Speaker 2: And they'll still pick it apart and make it sound bad, when we all know perfectly well, if it was Biden, if it was any other president, someone that they picked, meaning you know they'd be applauding and falling over themselves to praise them.
• 17:10
Speaker 2: And you know, nominate him for a Nobel Peace Prize.
• 17:13
Speaker 2: And you know, nominate him for a Nobel peace prize.
• 17:14
Speaker 2: And you know all of the things which, by the way, there was talk again of, uh, of him getting a peace prize.
• 17:19
Speaker 2: So it better happen.
• 17:20
  Speaker 2: That's all I can say.
• 17:21
Speaker 2: I think he has well earned it already at this point.
• 17:24
  Speaker 2: So we'll see.
• 17:24
Speaker 2: We'll see what happens.
• 17:26
Speaker 1: And in these trillions of dollars of business, uh, were, was commitment of uh, qatar to buy Boeing aircraft from the United States.
• 17:35
Speaker 1: Right, that's the the one point.
• 17:37
  Speaker 1: I think it's $1.3 trillion.
• 17:40
Speaker 1: Um, it might've been Saudi Arabia, it's one of the two countries, but they committed to buying Boeing aircraft.
• 17:44
Speaker 1: Um, and, and that is huge, right, boeing, an American company, jet liners, they could buy from Airbus and they could buy from other companies, um, but they're not.
• 17:53
Speaker 1: They're committed to buying from Boeing.
• 17:54
Speaker 1: And you know this, this gift that they have offered of a luxury aircraft as a stand in for Air Force One.
• 18:02
Speaker 1: You know, people are again, like everything else, they are overreacting to this One.
• 18:07
Speaker 1: This is not a gift to President Trump, Okay, two, we have been on standby and when I say we, I'm talking the nation and the department of defense for a new air force, one that is behind schedule from Boeing.
• 18:21
Speaker 2: Right, so the Qatari said it was like commissioned in like 2018 or something.
• 18:27
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, his first administration.
• 18:29
Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's insane.
• 18:31
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 18:32
Speaker 1: So the Qatari said listen, you've done a ton of stuff for us and if you've never been in the Middle East and you don't understand the culture, this is 100% normal.
• 18:39
Speaker 1: It just happens to be on a grand scale because we're talking about an airplane, but they have the money.
• 18:45
Speaker 1: Like this is again nothing.
• 18:46
Speaker 1: So they offered this as a gift to fill in for Air Force One as it's behind schedule, et cetera.
• 18:55
Speaker 1: It is not a gift to President Trump.
• 18:56
Speaker 1: It's a gift to the Department of Defense.
• 18:56
Speaker 1: Lawyers are going to get involved.
• 18:58
  Speaker 1: Is it legal?
• 18:58
Speaker 1: I would tell you it's probably not.
• 19:00
Speaker 1: I would tell you.
• 19:01
Speaker 1: President Trump is also not making a big deal out of this.
• 19:04
Speaker 1: He's lashing back at people who are making a big deal out of this, as he should.
• 19:09
Speaker 1: But I think this is way, way overblown.
• 19:13
  Speaker 1: It's an offer.
• 19:14
Speaker 1: There's been nothing given, nothing accepted.
• 19:17
Speaker 1: Everybody needs to chill out, yeah, and that includes members of Congress on both sides of the aisle, because there are some Republicans who are freaking out about this too.
• 19:26
Speaker 2: Right, yeah, you know.
• 19:27
Speaker 2: I mean, it's like anything else that goes on If it's legal.
• 19:30
Speaker 2: If it's not, fine, don't you know?
• 19:32
  Speaker 2: It's okay.
• 19:33
Speaker 2: It's not the big deal that they want it to be, you know, and it's not a bad thing if it's, if it is legal.
• 19:40
Speaker 2: If it doesn't break that, what is it?
• 19:41
Speaker 2: The foreign monuments clause?
• 19:43
Speaker 2: Is that what it is?
• 19:44
Speaker 2: I mean, I don't even know what it is, I just know that's what the name of it.
• 19:46
Speaker 2: Um, but it forbids public office holders from accepting a present of any kind whatsoever from any king, prince or foreign state.
• 19:53
  Speaker 2: So that's what they're.
• 19:54
Speaker 2: Obviously that's going to be their, their point.
• 19:56
Speaker 2: They're like, well, you're accepting a gift, you know, but it's it's that in between the lines there maybe, or I don't know, it's pretty explicit he's not supposed to accept a present.
• 20:04
Speaker 2: Not the country, right?
• 20:06
Speaker 2: Not the Department of Defense.
• 20:07
Speaker 2: So if there's a loophole for it, if there's a needed loophole, I'm sure he'll find it.
• 20:11
  Speaker 2: But he himself.
• 20:12
Speaker 2: he said I've got his quote here.
• 20:14
Speaker 2: He said on Monday that the plane isn't a gift to him, like you said, but to the Department of Defense.
• 20:20
Speaker 2: He added that it will be decommissioned after his term for his presidential library and that he will not use it after leaving office.
• 20:27
Speaker 2: So it's only going to be used during his term.
• 20:31
Speaker 2: He's not taking it home and putting it in the Mar-a-Lago backyard.
• 20:36
Speaker 2: It's not going on the golf course, guys, calm down.
• 20:39
  Speaker 1: And listen.
• 20:39
Speaker 1: Foreign dignitaries visit embassies, they visit our congresspeople, visit them when they go overseas.
• 20:46
Speaker 1: There are gifts given to the president, to the vice president.
• 20:49
Speaker 1: All the time there are gifts exchanged.
• 20:53
Speaker 1: The reality is is those gifts are under a certain dollar amount and when I say under a certain dollar amount I'm talking hundreds of dollars, not thousands of dollars.
• 21:00
Speaker 1: But mostly those gifts are given and accepted on behalf of the United States of America and not on behalf of that elected leader that we have, and they stay generally with the White House, with the you know that that Congressman's office, that you know all of those things rugs and crystal and like all kinds of gifts are given.
• 21:22
Speaker 1: Back and forth happens all the time.
• 21:24
Speaker 2: Right and listen, I'm not.
• 21:26
Speaker 2: I'm not one to throw any shots, clay, I'm not.
• 21:28
Speaker 2: I'm not that kind of guy.
• 21:29
Speaker 2: It's not my thing to do it, but you know, sometimes you, you just have to throw a little bit of a shot here.
• 21:35
Speaker 2: By the way, I'm not suicidal.
• 21:38
  Speaker 2: I love life.
• 21:40
  Speaker 1: Make that public.
• 21:40
Speaker 2: Yes, yes, just uh, stating that, uh, I think you're supposed to put your hand up now to prove that you're not AI.
• 21:46
Speaker 2: It's a crazy world we live in, but anyhow, um uh, hillary posted this.
• 21:51
Speaker 2: I think that was today.
• 21:52
Speaker 2: There's the date on it the 14th, so she posted.
• 21:53
Speaker 2: Just in case you can't read it or you're listening and not watching, she posted on X that no one gives someone a $400 million jet for free without expecting anything in return.
• 22:04
Speaker 2: Be serious is what she posted.
• 22:07
Speaker 2: And then, of course, I posted a picture of her Again.
• 22:10
Speaker 2: This is for the people who are listening, not watching.
• 22:12
Speaker 2: It's a picture of her, you know, lowering her glasses or readers, and it says we're doing irony now.
• 22:17
Speaker 1: So, yeah, really, hill, listen nobody goes to Epstein's Island without an expectation of a back rub from a 16-year-old girl.
• 22:27
Speaker 1: Yeah so yeah, drop that mic and listen.
• 22:32
Speaker 1: You know it's just like money from the Ukrainians or the Chinese for President Biden.
• 22:35
Speaker 1: Listen, you can spin these things any way you want.
• 22:42
Speaker 1: There's accountability for that jet.
• 22:43
Speaker 1: That is not going to a Swiss bank account.
• 22:44
Speaker 1: That's not going to Trump's brother.
• 22:45
Speaker 1: You know Biden's brother.
• 22:46
Speaker 1: You know they're not.
• 22:48
Speaker 1: This is very, very public.
• 22:50
Speaker 1: Yes, this is not being hidden.
• 22:50
Speaker 1: This is very, very public.
• 22:51
Speaker 1: This is not being hidden.
• 22:52
Speaker 1: And and he hasn't accepted anything no one.
• 22:55
Speaker 1: So yeah, she can, she can sit back and keep her mouth shut.
• 23:00
Speaker 1: The Democratic Party doesn't even care about her anymore.
• 23:05
Speaker 2: She's just running her mouth because she's a crabby old lady, and that's really about the extent of that.
• 23:07
Speaker 2: So, yeah, yeah, that sums it up perfectly.
• 23:08
Speaker 2: I love this next topic.
• 23:10
Speaker 2: You're excited to talk about this Very interesting.
• 23:14
Speaker 2: I'm excited for you in a way, because I know you said you're a non-practicing Catholic, but that's your origin story, right, so it's pretty cool that the new Pope is from your neck of the woods there.
• 23:28
Speaker 1: Yeah, so yes, he is from the greater Chicagoland area.
• 23:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, so yes, he is from the greater Chicagoland area.
• 23:33
Speaker 1: You know, it was a huge surprise An American pope.
• 23:35
Speaker 1: In general, there are generations of people older than me who have said they never expected to see an American pope, and if you think in terms of political influence, there's a reason why.
• 23:47
Speaker 1: You know, the view from within the Catholic Church has always been America has too much power as it is globally.
• 23:54
Speaker 1: There's no reason to give them a pope as well.
• 23:56
Speaker 1: So there was never an expectation for an American pope.
• 24:01
Speaker 1: You know, Leo, as he's chosen to be named, his papal name is from the Chicago area.
• 24:07
Speaker 1: I was blown away that day.
• 24:10
Speaker 1: You know there has been 8 million Chicago area memes that probably most of America has seen bits and pieces of, but we've been knee deep in it.
• 24:18
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you know he's.
• 24:19
Speaker 1: He's already known as the Pope.
• 24:21
Speaker 1: Um, I love it.
• 24:22
Speaker 1: Yeah, there's been cracks and jokes about deep dish pizza for communion.
• 24:26
Speaker 1: There's been, you know, baptizing kids in aju from beef sandwiches.
• 24:31
Speaker 1: You know putting ketchup on hot dogs is now a mortal sin and like there's tons of Chicago cracks about him, you know initial reports where he was a Cubs fan, including Wrigley Field put up on their marquee, which is, you know, historic, you know Cubs fan turns out.
• 24:47
Speaker 1: Maybe that's in dispute, maybe he's a Sox fan, which is a big deal here in the city.
• 24:51
Speaker 1: But you know, the bigger point is is that he is an American Pope and he is by reputation, so he's from the Augustine right, which means he is all about charity, he is all about selfless service and that's what his order is, you know, kind of founded on.
• 25:11
Speaker 1: So he, I think the expectations are going to be, I think he's a little more traditional than his predecessor.
• 25:18
Speaker 1: There's a lot of mixed messaging out there that people have pulled up on where he stands on, you know, homosexuals on.
• 25:27
Speaker 1: Where he stands on abortion, where he stands on you know some of those things that have been, you know, kind of in controversy in the more progressive last few years under the previous Pope.
• 25:37
Speaker 1: But yeah, an American Pope and he's a Chicago guy and he speaks four languages fluently and like it's a.
• 25:44
Speaker 2: I think it's even more than that.
• 25:45
Speaker 2: Did I say that he said somebody said seven languages.
• 25:47
Speaker 2: Is that, is that possible?
• 25:48
Speaker 2: Maybe it is, oh, totally possible.
• 25:53
Speaker 1: I mean you know, Latin's, one, which is a dead language.
• 25:55
Speaker 1: But yeah, when he addressed St Augustine's Square, they, you know, he spoke in fluent Italian and then Spanish.
• 26:00
Speaker 1: He was just a car, he was a cardinal in Peru, so he's fluent in Spanish.
• 26:03
Speaker 1: I know that he obviously speaks English.
• 26:05
Speaker 1: He, I think, french, I heard, I don't know what else, but I five, five languages.
• 26:12
Speaker 1: It may be seven, it's entirely possible.
• 26:15
Speaker 2: Um, you know, I'll tell you, I actually think that the uh conflicting stories if you'll, if you'll, have it, um, are actually I think it's kind of a good thing.
• 26:24
Speaker 2: You know, the, the left is saying the progressives are, are like yay, we've got a, we've got another woke pope.
• 26:30
Speaker 2: And the right is saying, no, actually you don't, because his views on abortion and LGBTQ marriage, blah, blah, blah, all these things are showing conservative.
• 26:40
Speaker 2: The fact that he chose the name Leo, which is the last one that was a Leo, was conservative, so that he chose that.
• 26:49
Speaker 2: They're saying that's a sign you know all of these things, so that he chose that.
• 26:53
Speaker 2: They're saying that's a sign you know all of these things.
• 26:54
Speaker 2: The vibe I'm actually getting from all of it, if you kind of put it all together, is that he actually sits somewhere in the middle and I think that's a good thing, I think that's a healthy thing and I think that's a good thing for the church.
• 27:02
  Speaker 2: To me.
• 27:03
Speaker 2: That hopefully says he is going to do what he should be doing which is going by the Bible, and that's it Not culture, not politicians.
• 27:11
Speaker 2: Doing which is going by the Bible, and that's it Not culture, not politicians, not feelings, nothing but the Bible.
• 27:15
Speaker 2: And I think, if he does that, I think he has the potential to be a very, very beloved Pope by many, and his brother was on Piers Morgan and he had this to say so we can watch this for a moment.
• 27:31
Speaker 5: Well, as you know, he was very disappointed because he thinks that your brother is going to turn out to be a very liberal pope, following on from Francis, who he had obviously a great relationship with.
• 27:37
Speaker 5: I mean, what's your response to that?
• 27:38
Speaker 5: Do you think he's going to be a very liberal pope?
• 27:42
Speaker 6: No, I do not.
• 27:42
Speaker 6: I don't think he's going to roll back the changes that Francis made.
• 27:46
  Speaker 6: I think he's going to.
• 27:48
  Speaker 6: Here we are.
• 27:49
Speaker 6: Let's continue down this path.
• 27:51
Speaker 6: Now I don't see my brother.
• 27:54
Speaker 6: When we were growing up he wasn't like super political.
• 27:59
Speaker 6: He's not left, he's not right.
• 28:00
Speaker 6: He looks at the whole scene, takes information from both sides and somehow finds a way to go down the middle and not ruffle too many feathers.
• 28:11
Speaker 2: So I mean, I think you know he's got by the way the backstory on that moment, at the very beginning he was referencing somebody that was saying something.
• 28:18
Speaker 2: He was talking about Steve Bannon.
• 28:19
Speaker 2: Apparently, the Pope's brother and Steve Bannon were, I think, in the Navy together, like on the same ship and everything I think.
• 28:26
Speaker 2: So that's the reference point there.
• 28:29
Speaker 2: But you know, if what he said is accurate, I actually feel like that's a really good thing and I'm definitely curious because I know this one is.
• 28:36
Speaker 2: This is one of those ones you're going to hear a lot about in the comment section, right, people have a lot of opinions about it Anytime I've posted even the littlest thing about it.
• 28:43
Speaker 2: It's been I wouldn't go so far as to say it's been explosive in there, but it's definitely been a lot of mixed feelings and opinions.
• 28:50
Speaker 2: You know, again, I'm Christian, not Catholic, so I don't, you know, really go by what the Catholic church says and does, obviously.
• 28:59
Speaker 2: But you know, I'm hopeful for it and listen, I don't really care as long as you're bringing people to Christ.
• 29:06
Speaker 2: It's a beautiful thing as far as I'm concerned.
• 29:08
Speaker 2: So it'll be really interesting to watch.
• 29:11
  Speaker 2: I'm hopeful.
• 29:12
  Speaker 1: I'm concerned.
• 29:12
  Speaker 1: So it'll be.
• 29:12
Speaker 1: It'll be really interesting to watch.
• 29:14
  Speaker 1: I'm hopeful.
• 29:14
  Speaker 1: Yeah, it'll be.
• 29:18
  Speaker 1: You know he's, he's.
• 29:18
Speaker 1: He turned 70 in September, so he is young.
• 29:19
Speaker 1: As far as the Pope goes, I mean, we have the potential for a 10, 12, 15 year papacy, you know, which would be interesting.
• 29:26
Speaker 1: So that's one thing you know you can.
• 29:29
Speaker 1: You can judge things by how the media reacts.
• 29:32
Speaker 1: There was an immediate backlash.
• 29:34
Speaker 1: And you want to talk about whiplash?
• 29:36
  Speaker 1: So everybody's.
• 29:37
Speaker 1: One of the top five favorite idiots on TV, Sonny Hostin, from the View, lashed out initially that he was too conservative and he was this and that, and you know she wasn't in favor of him.
• 29:49
Speaker 1: And then, the very next day, some information came out that his mother is of Hispanic Latin heritage and they trace back that he is his mother's family or family on his mother's side is Haitian, and that he actually has some African roots.
• 30:07
Speaker 1: Wow, and then, all of a sudden, she was very happy.
• 30:11
  Speaker 2: Now he's okay.
• 30:12
Speaker 2: Now he's all right.
• 30:13
Speaker 2: Yeah, roots and then all of a sudden.
• 30:14
Speaker 1: She was very happy.
• 30:15
Speaker 1: So you talk about the flash from that.
• 30:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean people are going to make what they want out of it.
• 30:19
  Speaker 1: It'll be interesting.
• 30:20
Speaker 1: But probably the most the thing that struck me the most in all of the coverage and I was watching when the smoke rose.
• 30:29
Speaker 1: I was watching when they named him, but you know one of the commentators that I was watching he quoted Pope John Paul II, who was, you know, many people will say he was the last great Pope, but he said that Pope John Paul was quoted as saying that being the Pope changes you.
• 30:49
Speaker 1: The man you are when you take over is certainly not the man you are at the end.
• 30:53
Speaker 1: So there's going to be room and expected change and growth in the Pope over his term.
• 31:00
Speaker 1: So what we have now is not probably what we're going to have 10 years from now.
• 31:05
  Speaker 1: So he's a human being.
• 31:07
Speaker 1: He's the most holy, the most regarded at this point in the Catholic faith, but he is still a man, no matter what, and we'll see how it turns out.
• 31:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, he's got a heck of a task ahead of him because I think he's coming to a very divided church, very, very divided, and he's got a heck of a task ahead of him to try and unite those factions and balance those lines.
• 31:28
Speaker 2: And balance those lines.
• 31:29
Speaker 2: You know, his brother said in that interview that he doesn't believe that his brother is going to walk back.
• 31:35
Speaker 2: Anything that the previous Pope has done, has said, which makes sense in that, you know, they're trying to probably keep some uniformity there so that they don't have mixed messages, you know.
• 31:49
Speaker 2: So maybe whatever he's going to do is more of a gradual, subtle shift.
• 31:52
Speaker 2: I don't know, like you said, we're going to have to wait and see and watch and see where it goes.
• 31:58
Speaker 1: Yeah, 4 billion Catholics.
• 31:59
Speaker 1: They'll let you know.
• 32:00
Speaker 2: They will definitely let everyone know for sure.
• 32:03
Speaker 2: I would only say come on, guys, give them a chance, give them a hot minute, you know, and let's, let's, let's, put our big boy and big girl pants on and be less quick to react.
• 32:13
Speaker 2: You know, take in the the totality of everything.
• 32:17
Speaker 2: You know, because I've already seen, I've seen the things you know, because the first thing, obviously, every time you talk about the Catholic Church, one of the first thing that always comes up is the abuse within the church and all this.
• 32:27
Speaker 2: So it's always like the go to.
• 32:28
Speaker 2: So there were some rumors about that not about him specifically, guys, just about you know, potentially having looked the other way for something that went on.
• 32:36
Speaker 2: I do not know, I don't have that full story, I just know that that was a one of the things that was thrown out there amongst all of the rest of everything, and that's what happens, right, I mean, we know this.
• 32:47
Speaker 2: You know as well, if not better, than anyone else, the minute you have, whatever the story is, whatever the new story is you get, you know we all get inundated super fast with lightning fast reports and sources, and we know very well that so much of what gets thrown on the internet is just simply not true.
• 33:05
Speaker 2: So you got to wade through it.
• 33:07
Speaker 2: I'm not saying these things are not true.
• 33:08
Speaker 2: I'm saying you really need to do your research and your own investigative.
• 33:12
Speaker 2: You know, just like you have to be an advocate for yourself when you go to the doctor, you got to be an advocate for yourself when you're reading and watching anything, and now more so than ever.
• 33:22
Speaker 2: So that's my request to everyone Take a pause, look it up.
• 33:25
  Speaker 2: Multiple sources.
• 33:26
Speaker 2: Find out the truth.
• 33:28
Speaker 2: It's in there somewhere, guys, and God bless them.
• 33:32
  Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely.
• 33:34
Speaker 2: What do we got next?
• 33:35
Speaker 2: We got to keep moving.
• 33:36
Speaker 2: Look at me being, look at me cracking the whip.
• 33:38
  Speaker 2: What?
• 33:38
Speaker 2: Well, let's talk about this, oh, my goodness.
• 33:41
Speaker 2: So I do have a video for this.
• 33:42
  Speaker 2: Now let's see.
• 33:43
Speaker 2: And I thought I put it in here, but, yeah, so did you.
• 33:46
  Speaker 2: You saw this.
• 33:46
Speaker 2: Obviously you watch the.
• 34:19
Speaker 1: Yeah, so there were two, actually two, incidences.
• 34:20
Speaker 1: There was the forced entry by the members of Congress right, and then the following day there was a religious organization from New Jersey to allow the vehicles in or out.
• 34:25
Speaker 1: This group was going to rush the gates and they were going to be inside the prison before they could do anything, so, like they had to, there was an ambulance that got turned away, but they don't know of anybody even calling an ambulance, so that was a bit of a setup.
• 34:31
Speaker 1: There are some other things, but really what we're focusing on is this demand by Congress people for entry into the ICE facility.
• 34:36
Speaker 2: Did you find your video?
• 34:37
Speaker 2: Yeah, I have it.
• 34:37
Speaker 2: It's the second one, so not as, not as good as the first one, but there it is oh, my God.
• 35:13
Speaker 2: Yeah, blah, blah, blah.
• 35:22
Speaker 2: Yeah, they're so obnoxious, they're so obnoxious.
• 35:25
Speaker 1: Those were people trying to go home.
• 35:27
Speaker 2: Yeah, let them go home, get out of the way.
• 35:30
Speaker 2: Oh listen, we all need to pray for elsa right now that I never am the person that gets caught in one of these um, you know, road blocking protests.
• 35:42
Speaker 2: Pray hard, I I am not that one.
• 35:46
Speaker 2: I am from the south side of the kingdom and I cannot be responsible for what I do, because that's that makes my blood boil.
• 35:55
Speaker 2: Like you want to protest?
• 35:57
Speaker 2: You want to march around with your signs on the sidewalk?
• 35:59
Speaker 2: I am fully supportive of your right to do that, 100%.
• 36:03
Speaker 2: Do not get in my way.
• 36:04
  Speaker 2: That's it.
• 36:06
Speaker 2: So yeah, and I and I know I'm speaking for a lot of people when I say that, oh yeah.
• 36:11
Speaker 1: The bigger issue, though, is that is, the members of Congress that the day before this, yes, looked at that prison staff and said you know you will let us in.
• 36:20
Speaker 1: You know you, we have.
• 36:21
Speaker 1: We have a right to be.
• 36:22
  Speaker 1: No, you don't.
• 36:23
Speaker 2: No, you absolutely do not.
• 36:25
Speaker 2: The absolute audacity and arrogance to, first of all, to behave like that.
• 36:30
Speaker 2: Now you're putting you know law enforcement, you're putting them at risk and I have a problem with that, immediately, I have a major problem with that.
• 36:39
Speaker 2: You get the hell out of the way, do not get yourself in the way of.
• 36:44
Speaker 2: You know what they're trying to do and put them in danger.
• 36:46
Speaker 2: Yeah, who was it?
• 36:48
  Speaker 2: The Newark mayor?
• 36:49
  Speaker 2: What's his name?
• 36:50
  Speaker 2: Roz Baraka.
• 36:51
Speaker 2: Is that it Arrested?
• 36:52
Speaker 2: Arrested for, you know, and they're proud of this, they think this is, like you know, a badge of courage and a badge of honor to get arrested doing these things.
• 37:00
Speaker 2: And I think anyone who sits there and deludes themselves into thinking that this is a noble, you know, righteous thing that they're doing, that they're, you know, just being great people, humanitarians, thing that they're doing, that they're, you know, just being great people, humanitarians, they're not.
• 37:13
Speaker 2: It's theater, it is political theater, it is absolute showboating.
• 37:18
Speaker 2: And look at me, crap, they don't care.
• 37:26
Speaker 2: This is about them and getting themselves in front of you know, it's amazing how there's always camera crews and all of these things right there with them.
• 37:30
Speaker 2: You know the minute these things are going on.
• 37:32
  Speaker 2: Why?
• 37:33
Speaker 2: Because they bring them, they call them, they do all of the things.
• 37:36
Speaker 2: It's theater, nothing more.
• 37:38
  Speaker 2: I can't stand them, clay.
• 37:39
Speaker 1: So I have a bit of an alternate solution.
• 37:42
Speaker 1: Okay, when, yeah, when I was in Iraq in 2008 and nine they were going through the Iraqi prisons and we had a red, had a red, amber or a green, amber, red list.
• 37:53
Speaker 1: Right, you know, guys who were in the prisons who were listed as green were you know petty crime, kind of things.
• 38:00
Speaker 1: You know the, the Amber ones were more violent criminals and then the red ones were, you know, domestic terror, blah, blah, blah.
• 38:08
  Speaker 1: So they were.
• 38:10
Speaker 1: Every month we would do a release of sorts of each of these.
• 38:13
Speaker 1: You know we would work through the green and you know the Iraqis would do it.
• 38:16
Speaker 1: We would just kind of oversee it.
• 38:17
Speaker 1: We'd work through the green list and then we got rid of all the green, we, we moved to the Amber and so on and so forth.
• 38:22
Speaker 1: Every one of those prisoners got released to a family member.
• 38:25
Speaker 1: A family member had to sign for them, and so the name was taken not only of the prisoner but of the family member, and if that prisoner got arrested again as a return you know, repeat offender the family member was held accountable as well.
• 38:41
Speaker 1: That family member went to jail.
• 38:42
  Speaker 1: So here's what I propose.
• 38:44
Speaker 1: All of these politicians right, all of these left-leaning or straight-up left, blue-side you know Democrat politicians, go sign for a prisoner, take responsibility for them.
• 38:55
  Speaker 1: You don't.
• 38:56
Speaker 1: They don't even have to live in your house, right?
• 38:58
  Speaker 2: No, you're just.
• 38:58
Speaker 2: You know, it's like if you co-signed a car loan, right?
• 39:01
  Speaker 1: Exactly right.
• 39:01
Speaker 1: That's exactly what you're doing is you're co-signing that they are going to be good human beings forever, and and watch how many of them won't do it.
• 39:10
Speaker 1: Absolutely how many of them won't do it, Absolutely, Absolutely.
• 39:12
Speaker 2: These are same people, you know well.
• 39:21
Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, I think that is the best idea, and I'm not just saying that because you're my buddy, my pal.
• 39:23
Speaker 2: That is like the best idea that I have heard in a long time.
• 39:26
Speaker 2: And they're right there.
• 39:27
Speaker 2: Folks is the difference between the left and the right the right is always offering solutions.
• 39:31
Speaker 2: We're not just talking about problems.
• 39:32
Speaker 2: We've got solutions for you.
• 39:32
Speaker 2: This needs to go.
• 39:32
Speaker 2: The difference between the left and the right the right is always offering solutions right, we're not just talking about problems.
• 39:35
Speaker 2: We've got solutions for you.
• 39:36
Speaker 2: This needs to go right to the White House desk, because I think that is the absolute most brilliant thing that I've heard in a while.
• 39:44
  Speaker 1: Again.
• 39:45
Speaker 1: You don't have to house them, you don't have to feed them.
• 39:47
Speaker 1: Now, it's in your best interest to take care of them, make sure they have a place to stay, that they have a job, that they're contributing to society, because therefore they're less likely to be a criminal, but you take responsibility for them.
• 40:00
Speaker 1: Yeah, forever, yep, yeah, forever.
• 40:04
Speaker 1: Nobody's signing up for that.
• 40:05
Speaker 2: No, no, you won't get a single one, you'll get somebody.
• 40:08
Speaker 2: You'll maybe get one Looney Tune, you know who does it, who's got to prove her point?
• 40:14
Speaker 2: Notice, I said her.
• 40:15
  Speaker 1: Yeah, high probability.
• 40:18
Speaker 2: Listen, I love my gender, I love us, I do.
• 40:22
Speaker 2: But yeah, that's all I'll say on that.
• 40:25
Speaker 2: But yeah, um, I, I would love to see that happen.
• 40:29
Speaker 2: That would be, it would change everything in in a second, all of a sudden.
• 40:32
Speaker 2: You know, we'd hear guys, we would hear crickets, right, the beautiful sound of crickets in the night sky, oh, that would be so good.
• 40:41
Speaker 2: But you listen, speaking of, um, well, something along the same lines, right, my, oh my.
• 40:48
Speaker 1: Yeah, you know the interesting part of all this.
• 40:52
Speaker 1: You and I have talked about this, your husband's police officer, we've been talking about MS-13 and TDA for months and obviously, again, we even just talked about it in the last segment.
• 41:03
  Speaker 1: Um, what people?
• 41:05
  Speaker 1: What is now?
• 41:06
Speaker 1: What is arising out of this is competitive, not just MS-13 versus TDA.
• 41:13
  Speaker 1: Right, you've got.
• 41:14
Speaker 1: Both of those criminal organizations are fracturing, right, and, and you know, multiplying.
• 41:21
Speaker 1: So now you've got, and there there's actually a group being labeled as the anti-TDA.
• 41:26
Speaker 1: Now, on the surface they must be a bunch of great Nicaraguans or Venezuelans.
• 41:31
Speaker 1: No, they're not what.
• 41:33
Speaker 2: They're not upstanding citizens.
• 41:35
  Speaker 1: What?
• 41:35
Speaker 1: The only way you break away from an organization like that is to be crazier than the organization as it stands.
• 41:42
Speaker 1: So they are an ultra-violent right ultra-violent faction, breakaway faction of TDA.
• 41:49
Speaker 1: So you've got that.
• 41:51
Speaker 1: And when you can't fight over turf every day and for those of us that are old enough to remember Crips and Bloods in the 80s, LA, like that was daily TV coverage, right, there were kids dying in South Central by the hour.
• 42:06
Speaker 1: I mean it was crazy how bad that was.
• 42:08
Speaker 1: And that's what we're starting to get.
• 42:10
Speaker 1: So you've got turf wars that are emerging from this, between MS-13 and TDA and by the splinter factions.
• 42:17
Speaker 1: And when they can't fight those turf wars, then they go to other places.
• 42:21
Speaker 1: They're branching out into rural America, now, right, and taking up which, if you get into the rural Midwest, like there's going to be some fighting back.
• 42:32
  Speaker 1: But that's what they're doing.
• 42:33
Speaker 1: Right, the city's crowded.
• 42:34
Speaker 1: You've got another competition.
• 42:35
Speaker 1: So now they're spanning out and and these are when people have been defending these organizations like, oh well, there, there's not that many of them, oh, it's not that big, oh, it's only a few hundred, or only it's only a few thousand, spread across the whole United States.
• 42:48
Speaker 1: This is what you get.
• 42:49
  Speaker 1: You get.
• 42:50
Speaker 1: Expanded is what you get.
• 42:52
  Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely.
• 42:53
  Speaker 2: I.
• 42:53
Speaker 2: You know, as I was researching.
• 42:56
Speaker 2: You know, so what I do when I research each topic and I'm sure you do the same thing I want, obviously, a fully rounded view of what everybody's saying.
• 43:04
Speaker 2: So I'm not just looking at right-leaning news sources, I'm looking at the left too, one of them, being NPR, was one of the ones that I looked at to see what they were saying about this.
• 43:14
Speaker 2: And you know exactly what you just said, clay like oh, they're making such a big deal of this.
• 43:18
Speaker 2: It's really not that big of a deal, it's.
• 43:20
Speaker 2: There's not so many of them, you know.
• 43:36
Speaker 2: Again tried to downplay it.
• 43:37
Speaker 2: Well, it was just.
• 43:38
Speaker 2: You know, it was just one apartment building that they took over.
• 43:41
Speaker 2: It's not that big of a deal.
• 43:42
Speaker 2: And he was like, excuse me, hold on.
• 43:45
Speaker 2: Like, yes, it is.
• 43:46
Speaker 2: These are American citizens being terrified, threatened, harmed, killed because their apartment building is being taken over by illegal alien gang members.
• 44:00
Speaker 2: And you don't think that's a problem because it's just a small amount of Americans Like you.
• 44:06
Speaker 2: People are out of your skulls to think that there is even a fraction of a percent that makes this okay.
• 44:14
Speaker 1: So yeah, and, oh, by the way, like us, pre-existing gangs, crips and bloods and latin kings, and and they haven't gone away, no, and now you've got even more.
• 44:29
Speaker 1: So they're either being co-opted by MS-13, tda, or you've got turf war right.
• 44:36
Speaker 1: So again, increase in violence, not just against people but against each other, which again you get.
• 44:41
Speaker 1: A lot of innocent people get caught in the middle, and so you could say it's only a thousand, but if it's a thousand and they're fighting for turf in los angeles or chicago or new york or miami or wherever else, yeah, you're, there's bloodshed, like that's the way it's going to be.
• 44:55
Speaker 1: So, accepting any of it, um, is insane.
• 44:59
Speaker 2: And you know, here's the the irony of it, the disgusting irony of it.
• 45:03
  Speaker 2: You know why.
• 45:04
Speaker 2: They don't care meaning.
• 45:04
Speaker 2: They mean meaning the left.
• 45:06
Speaker 2: And no, guys, I will not stop harping on who's doing what here and who's saying what, who's supporting what.
• 45:12
Speaker 2: So, yeah, you're going to hear the left, the left, the left from me on a regular basis for hopefully not forever, but long enough.
• 45:20
Speaker 2: I guess you know it's not affecting them because they're deep down.
• 45:25
Speaker 2: Their deep down attitude is ah, it's just cities, it's just those people.
• 45:29
Speaker 2: We don't care about them.
• 45:30
Speaker 2: You know, wait until it gets in your little suburb.
• 45:33
Speaker 2: You know, like you said, you're, now they're going rural, now they're expanding out, they're going to be in your neighborhood.
• 45:38
Speaker 2: You could you okay with that?
• 45:40
Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, and you know, slipping into the next topic, this is what happens when you ignore or you know it can contribute to a problem.
• 45:50
Speaker 1: So governor newsom in california has decided that all statewide, that all the homeless encampments need to go every city and you remember he used to be san francisco mayor, la, san francisco, san diego all of them, they all need to get torn down.
• 46:08
Speaker 1: Right, they, all these people need to be arrested.
• 46:12
Speaker 1: If they refuse shelter, three times they need to go to jail.
• 46:15
Speaker 1: And he's harping on these mayors because he has given them funding for programs that are supposed to eliminate or reduce homelessness and they're not spending it the way that it's supposed to be be, or it's ineffective.
• 46:29
Speaker 1: So the solution is tear them all down.
• 46:32
Speaker 1: But you were talking about doing research.
• 46:34
Speaker 1: I did not realize this Research in this topic.
• 46:37
Speaker 1: California's homeless number is about 187,000 people, which is one quarter of the entire united states homeless population.
• 46:49
Speaker 1: Wow, right, and listen.
• 46:53
Speaker 1: My best friend picked up lock, stock and barrel, moved out of la for this exact reason.
• 46:57
Speaker 1: They were on his doorstep, literally right outside his neighborhood.
• 46:59
Speaker 1: Um, but you, if you drive through southern california, um, the highway underpasses the highway overpasses the medians.
• 47:07
Speaker 1: You'll look in large medians and highways, there's camps everywhere and it's just.
• 47:12
  Speaker 1: It's not safe.
• 47:13
Speaker 1: But Gavin Newsom, who contributed to this problem, has now declared war on this problem.
• 47:17
Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, look he's, you know he's cleaning it up all by himself too, and his and his designer t-shirt.
• 47:22
Speaker 2: That probably costs I don't know what would you guess.
• 47:31
Speaker 2: This t-shirt cost 80, 100 maybe, yeah you know he's taking this seriously, guys.
• 47:34
Speaker 1: Why is he taking it seriously?
• 47:35
  Speaker 2: yeah, why, guys?
• 47:36
Speaker 2: Why do you think he's taking it seriously?
• 47:38
Speaker 2: We all know why.
• 47:40
Speaker 2: Because, yeah, exactly, um, it's just so cliche, is it's so typical, so expected, like, can you just not do the most predictable things ever?
• 47:54
Speaker 2: You know, and this guy and I looked up, you know, as part of this research, I got curious and kind of expanded it even more in my search and I actually popped it into chat GPT and my question to it was saying I think I have it over here.
• 48:06
Speaker 2: My question was has Gavin Newsom actually done any like anything good for his state?
• 48:15
Speaker 2: Like, has he accomplished anything whatsoever that is positive and good for the betterment of the state and the?
• 48:21
Speaker 2: You know, the short answer to that is no, nope, nope, not a single thing.
• 48:27
Speaker 2: And it's wild and we'll have to go through it.
• 48:29
Speaker 2: We'll have to take this as he his profile gets even higher and higher as we get closer, we're going to do I think we're going to have to do like a whole Gavin Newsom episode, so we can just go down the complete list of everything that this guy has done and tried to do and failed at.
• 48:48
Speaker 2: So I mean he is an extreme failure at what, what he claims to want to do for the state.
• 48:57
Speaker 1: And the banner at the bottom is is he?
• 48:59
Speaker 1: This is a blame shift, right?
• 49:01
Speaker 1: He's a contributor to this, has been for a long time, and now he's pinning it on all the mayors, right, and he's saying this is your fault.
• 49:08
Speaker 1: You've been given the funds, you're not the programs.
• 49:11
Speaker 1: You know you're not endorsing them, you're not funding them, you're not running them, you're not whatever.
• 49:14
  Speaker 1: It's being ineffective.
• 49:15
Speaker 1: We've got more homeless people.
• 49:16
Speaker 1: So, therefore, I am encouraging all of you um, before I have to turn it into law, I'm encouraging all of you to get rid of all the homeless camps.
• 49:23
Speaker 1: Right, and you know and I'm sorry, no, it's, it's just him showboating, that's all it is A hundred percent.
• 49:29
Speaker 2: What a surprise, right you know, but it begs like the biggest question of all of so, what are you going to do with them?
• 49:36
  Speaker 2: Would you say?
• 49:36
Speaker 2: One hundred and eighty seven thousand homeless people?
• 49:40
Speaker 2: Where are they going to go Like?
• 49:42
Speaker 2: How are you going to fix this?
• 49:44
Speaker 2: And again, they are wholly unprepared for this.
• 49:46
Speaker 2: The number of shelters that they have, with the capacity that they have, they are completely unable to house the number of people that they are displacing.
• 49:55
  Speaker 2: Go ahead.
• 49:56
Speaker 1: I have an idea.
• 49:57
Speaker 1: You know all those.
• 50:00
Speaker 1: You know all those shelters that are full of illegal aliens.
• 50:02
Speaker 1: Oh what If you deport them?
• 50:05
Speaker 1: You can probably get 187,000 people into those shelters and therefore take care of your homeless problem.
• 50:12
  Speaker 1: Just saying.
• 50:13
Speaker 2: Well, what a novel idea, Just saying yeah, clay, you're full of, like, the brilliant ideas today.
• 50:23
Speaker 2: Not that you never, have brilliant ideas Simple guy.
• 50:27
  Speaker 1: It's a simple answer.
• 50:29
Speaker 2: I love that, like simple, practical solutions that make sense, which you know what that means, though Ain't going to happen.
• 50:35
Speaker 2: Ain't going to happen.
• 50:37
Speaker 2: Too logical, too practical, too easy Right.
• 50:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what's not been in the news.
• 50:45
Speaker 1: What has not been the reduced the benefits of the reduced tariffs with China.
• 50:52
Speaker 2: Anyhow, they don't want to talk about that.
• 50:53
Speaker 2: It's weird that they don't want to talk about that, right.
• 50:56
Speaker 1: Talking about it for weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks.
• 50:59
Speaker 1: And then when the Chinese went, yeah, this ain't going to work, and we went all right, that was the media.
• 51:04
Speaker 1: Yeah, so we went from us charging them 145 percent charging them 30 percent.
• 51:10
Speaker 1: They were charging us 125 percent, reduced down to 10 percent.
• 51:13
Speaker 1: Right, yeah, this is the whole idea behind the tariffs, folks, to reduce.
• 51:18
Speaker 1: So the US wasn't getting taken advantage of, right?
• 51:24
Speaker 1: But here's the, here's the curveball that I'm going to throw everybody Right.
• 51:26
Speaker 1: Everybody again thinks this is purely economic.
• 51:27
Speaker 1: I'm going to throw everybody right.
• 51:29
Speaker 1: Everybody again thinks this is purely economic.
• 51:30
Speaker 1: I would tell you, I'm willing to bet that president Trump is driving a wedge between China and Russia.
• 51:36
Speaker 1: There is something going on there that he is because they're they are allied.
• 51:41
Speaker 1: There's no question about it, and that is the that alliance is.
• 51:45
Speaker 1: The greatest threat to the United States is the two of them, and he is, through this, driving a wedge between the two of them.
• 51:51
Speaker 1: It will turn into a hey, you're either with Putin or you're with us.
• 51:55
  Speaker 1: Take your pick.
• 51:56
Speaker 1: You've seen the economic impact, so you figure out what you're going to do.
• 52:00
Speaker 1: But I can promise you this this is leading down that road.
• 52:03
Speaker 1: President Trump is no idiot, right?
• 52:05
Speaker 1: No, it's not all about the dollar.
• 52:08
Speaker 1: This is about global alliance that is anchored in economics.
• 52:13
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I think, I think president Trump is a master chess player.
• 52:20
Speaker 2: Um, I think he already has the game all laid out in one before other people have even made their moves.
• 52:28
Speaker 2: You know what I mean, and I think that is his biggest strength that he can see.
• 52:34
Speaker 2: So much, don't forget and we talked about this before President Trump was talking about these things, more than a decade ago this has been on his mind, part of his, you know I don't know if plan is the right word but certainly part of his thought process and understanding, and it probably has driven him crazy for all these years to essentially have the solution to the problem and not be able to make it happen, to actually move all of those chess pieces into the places that they need to go, that he's already planned this out forever in a day.
• 53:10
Speaker 2: Um, so, yeah, and I and I'm so glad that I happen to be one of the many, many, many people who, when this all started, uh, just sat back and, and you know, put, put my hands behind my head and kicked my feet up and said I'm just gonna watch play out, let's see where this goes.
• 53:26
Speaker 2: And, um, you know, no, none of this is a surprise to me and I don't even understand a quarter of it, but none of it's a surprise to me.
• 53:34
Speaker 1: But we said it two weeks ago.
• 53:35
Speaker 1: It's patience, right, he knows what he's doing.
• 53:37
Speaker 1: You've got to let it play out.
• 53:39
Speaker 1: You know, at a hundred days in office, it was too early to tell anything.
• 53:42
Speaker 1: But, of course, like everything else, we made this agreement.
• 53:48
Speaker 1: Everybody freaked out, right, and he's getting, you know, he's getting criticized for it.
• 53:52
Speaker 1: Everybody said, oh well, businesses made some economic decisions, some purchasing decisions, some shipping decisions based on the cost of the tariffs, and now they've got to go back and they've got to redo.
• 54:01
Speaker 1: You know, and they did this and they did that, and blah, blah, blah, blah.
• 54:03
Speaker 1: He did this, he capitulated, this was never the plan.
• 54:06
Speaker 1: And he caved and I bought no, he knew exactly what he was doing, from jump street, right, and, and, and it worked out exactly the way you wanted.
• 54:16
Speaker 1: We're tariffing them more than they're tariffing us.
• 54:18
  Speaker 1: And what?
• 54:19
Speaker 1: How long did it last, really?
• 54:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, like a hot minute.
• 54:22
Speaker 1: Three weeks, six weeks, max, right, this is not, you know, what everybody thought it was going to be, but it was exactly what president Trump thought it was going to be.
• 54:32
Speaker 2: Yeah, he knows, he knows the scrutinies he's under, he knows, he knows that he can't misstep, basically, you know.
• 54:39
Speaker 2: So he is thinking out everything so far ahead.
• 54:42
Speaker 2: Um, I think he is surrounded by some of the greatest minds on the planet and, you know, because it's not just him alone, obviously, I mean obviously, he's assembled one hell of a team around him, this go around.
• 54:57
Speaker 2: He is not a man who doesn't learn from his mistakes.
• 55:00
Speaker 2: You know that first term, he trusted the wrong people.
• 55:02
Speaker 2: That is not the case now.
• 55:04
Speaker 2: And, yeah, you know, now we just got to work on those, those Republicans that are not doing what we need them to do, what we we want them to do.
• 55:14
Speaker 2: Right, that's a whole other episode.
• 55:16
Speaker 2: We don't have time for that.
• 55:18
Speaker 1: But I will tell you that the difference between President Trump and every president since President Reagan and this is where he is very much like president Reagan is that he sees it Like you said.
• 55:29
Speaker 1: He sees all, the, all the moves on the chessboard, um, he, he knows how it's going to play out, but he knows that it's going to take courage, um, to make certain moves.
• 55:38
Speaker 1: He knows that it's going to take, you know, some, some, um, really some resolve to withstand the pressure from everybody around him, including the media, right, and he, and he does.
• 55:50
Speaker 1: Every other president between Reagan and now, including President Trump in his first term, to be honest, you know, they have all been reluctant to make bold moves.
• 56:02
Speaker 1: You know, and, and I think in this term, because he knows that he's, he's foreign out and I know he knows that he's got stuff he wants to get done.
• 56:09
Speaker 1: Yeah, and this, you know, and I think he is really kind of even taking the reins off himself and he's making the bold moves and they're they're working out exactly the way that he knows that they will.
• 56:19
Speaker 1: So, yeah, um, yeah, and this is just more evidence.
• 56:21
Speaker 1: So good on him, well done, yes absolutely he's.
• 56:24
Speaker 2: Uh, he has been hard charging from the get-go from day one, since before day one, but officially from day one it's been hard charging the whole time.
• 56:32
Speaker 2: And you know, I think we are going to see the benefits of this for a long time to come and I hope that it's only going to keep getting better and better.
• 56:42
Speaker 2: And, yeah, I'm definitely enjoying the ride, for sure.
• 56:45
Speaker 2: Oh, I don't want to brag, but we just did.
• 56:51
Speaker 2: Was it seven or eight, eight?
• 56:53
Speaker 2: We just did eight topics in an hour and, yeah, I'm feeling pretty pleased with ourselves here.
• 57:00
Speaker 2: Yeah, and you know, and the crazy thing is like that's eight topics out of like a hundred we could have gone with.
• 57:06
Speaker 2: Right, there's so many things going on right now.
• 57:09
  Speaker 2: There's the's, the.
• 57:10
Speaker 2: I don't even know, to be honest with you guys, uh, and with you clay, I don't even know if I want to cover this um, the.
• 57:15
Speaker 2: The diddy trial is going on right now and, um, it's so gross I think they're only in day two um, it's so vile already that, to be honest with you, I don't know if we're going to do anything more than do like a very brief recap of anything that's relevant.
• 57:32
Speaker 2: But it's really gross.
• 57:33
Speaker 1: Yeah, when he gets convicted we'll talk about it.
• 57:35
Speaker 1: Other than that, I don't really care.
• 57:37
  Speaker 2: I like that.
• 57:37
  Speaker 2: That's a good idea.
• 57:38
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean, it's so disturbing so yeah, so forget about that noise.
• 57:42

Speaker 1: No, no, I've got a little public speaking engagement coming the end of this week.
• 57:51
Speaker 1: I'm going to talk to UAW, which is kind of cool, but I think probably the coolest thing that's going on this week is Pete Rose and Shoeless Joe Jackson had their lifetime bans lifted, which is a higher probability that they should deservingly get into the Hall of Fame.
• 58:09
Speaker 2: Yeah, that was nice to hear.
• 58:10
Speaker 2: I did see that.
• 58:10

• 58:16
  Speaker 2: Yeah, wonderful stuff.
• 58:18
Speaker 1: People will be against that, but I'm a Pete Rose fan.
• 58:21
Speaker 1: I think he deserves it.
• 58:22
Speaker 1: Unfortunately, he's passed away and he's not going to get to enjoy it, but he is what he is.
• 58:25
Speaker 1: So, other than that, how about you?
• 58:28
