  Speaker 1: and it's time right now for today's word. Reach beyond

  Speaker 1: your doubt. Mark 528 says, for she kept saying, if

  Speaker 1: I only touch his garments, I shall be restored. Have
• 0:19
  Speaker 1: you ever been in a situation where you've tried everything
• 0:23
  Speaker 1: you know to do? You prayed every prayer you know
• 0:27
  Speaker 1: to pray and still haven't seen the breakthrough you've been
• 0:30
  Speaker 1: believing for. Maybe you've grown tired of waiting, tired of fighting.
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: and tired of hearing what other people say is impossible. Well, today,
• 0:38
  Speaker 1: I want to encourage you, don't let what you've been
• 0:41
  Speaker 1: through stop you from reaching for what you can do
• 0:44
  Speaker 1: and what God can do through you. In Mark chapter 5,
• 0:49
  Speaker 1: We meet a woman who had suffered with a bleeding
• 0:51
  Speaker 1: condition for 12 long years. She had endured physical pain,
• 0:55
  Speaker 1: spent her money seeking treatment, and still had not found
• 1:00
  Speaker 1: the relief she needed. But when she heard that Jesus
• 1:03
  Speaker 1: was passing through, something changed. Hope began to rise, and
• 1:07
  Speaker 1: she made a decision. she was going to get to Jesus.

  Speaker 1: The crowd was sick, the obstacles were real, and her
• 1:13
  Speaker 1: circumstances gave her plenty of reasons to give up. But
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: she kept saying, if I can just touch his clothes,
• 1:20
  Speaker 1: I will be healed. She didn't allow the crowd to
• 1:22
  Speaker 1: stop her. She didn't allow her history to silence her hope.
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: She pressed forward, she reached out, and she touched the
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: edge of his garment. And Jesus recognized her faith. Think
• 1:33
  Speaker 1: about that. After 12 years of disappointment, she still believed
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: that one encounter with Jesus could change her story. Now,
• 1:40
  Speaker 1: faith is not a formula that guarantees we're going to
• 1:42
  Speaker 1: receive every outcome we desire exactly when we want it.
• 1:47
  Speaker 1: But faith helps us to keep reaching for God when
• 1:50
  Speaker 1: circumstances tempt us to give up. It moves us to
• 1:53
  Speaker 1: pray again, trust again, seek wisdom again. and take the
• 1:57
  Speaker 1: next steps even when we can't see the whole picture.

  Speaker 1: And maybe that's what you need to do today. Press
• 2:03
  Speaker 1: past the negative voices telling you that you'll never recover,
• 2:06
  Speaker 1: never grow, never overcome, never become what God has called
• 2:09
  Speaker 1: you to do. Don't let somebody else's doubt become the
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: limit of your expectations. Your next step may be to
• 2:17
  Speaker 1: pray with renewed faith. It may be to seek wise counsel,
• 2:20
  Speaker 1: follow through on an opportunity, or ask for help in
• 2:24
  Speaker 1: an area that where you've been struggling, whatever that step
• 2:27
  Speaker 1: looks like, don't let fear make the decision for you.
• 2:31
  Speaker 1: You may not be able to control the crowd around you,
• 2:34
  Speaker 1: but you can choose to keep reaching for Jesus. So
• 2:37
  Speaker 1: lift your head up, renew your hope, bring your burdens
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: to the Lord and trust him with the outcomes. The
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: same Jesus who saw that woman in the crowd sees
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: you right now where you are. So don't let disappointment
• 2:50
  Speaker 1: shut down your faith. You keep reaching, you keep believing,
• 2:53
  Speaker 1: and you keep walking with God. Oh, Father God, thank
• 2:56
  Speaker 1: you for being our source of hope when life becomes difficult.

  Speaker 1: Strengthen our faith when doubt tries to overwhelm us. Oh God,
• 3:03
  Speaker 1: help us to press past fear and discouragement and the
• 3:06
  Speaker 1: negative voices that tell us to give up. Give us
• 3:09
  Speaker 1: wisdom to recognize the steps we need to take and
• 3:12
  Speaker 1: the courage to take them. God, we place our needs,
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: our dreams, and our future in your hands. We will
• 3:17
  Speaker 1: keep trusting you even when we can't see how everything
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: will work out in Jesus' name. Now that's your word
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: for today. Take it, apply it to your everyday life,
• 3:26
  Speaker 1: and you continue to be encouraged and inspired. It's your
• 3:29
