• 0:49
• 1:02
loro acclamazione da parte del pubblico. One
• 1:17
of these is Born to be Alive by Patrick Hernandez.
• 1:20
The great singer of Spanish father and Italian
• 1:23
-Austrian mother, in the 70s he frequented the
• 1:26
local areas of southern France with the duo composed
• 1:29
together with the singer, arranger and guitarist
• 1:31
Hervé Tholans. In 1974 Patrick Hernández collaborated
• 1:36
with the recording of Et Tu, the album recorded
• 1:38
in France by Claudio Baglioni. The encounter
• 1:40
with the Belgian producer Jean -Yves Vanloo,
• 1:43
the same as the Chocolates and Asha Putli, marked
• 1:45
a turning point in Patrick Hernández's career,
• 1:48
precisely in the period in which he was the disco
• 1:50
music and after signing the contract with the
• 1:53
Aquarius Records label, Patrick Hernandez composed
• 1:56
in Belgium the song that would have made him
• 1:59
one of the top names in the musical genre. Born
• 2:02
to be alive Difficult to believe, Jean -Yves
• 2:19
Vallaud told in an interview released in 2018
• 2:23
that he had knocked on all the doors in and out
• 2:25
of France to propose Born to be Alive. All the
• 2:28
labels refused the song, assuming that it would
• 2:30
not have worked. At that point, exposing himself
• 2:33
financially, Gianni Volo decided to print alone
• 2:36
Born To Be Alive by Patrick Hernandez. The success
• 2:39
of Born To Be Alive was almost immediate. At
• 2:42
the beginning of 1979, the song began the conquest
• 2:45
of the world rankings. It became a gold record
• 2:48
in Italy, where it remained number two at the
• 2:50
Hit Parade for nine consecutive weeks. The popularity
• 2:53
of Born To Be Alive undoubtedly contributed to
• 2:55
the elegant and elegant look of Patrick Hernandez.
• 2:57
