- 0:00Speaker 1: You might have noticed there is a election happening in
- 0:04Speaker 1: the United States and Al's funny man, not familiar not
- 0:07Speaker 1: to keep bringing up my trip to Italy. I just
- 0:09Speaker 1: got back from my wife and I was five year
- 0:10Speaker 1: anniversary kind.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Of like a week a good week, and then you
- 0:13Speaker 2: kind of have to maybe bring it up like once
- 0:15Speaker 2: a month. Yeah, but a full week of you can
- 0:17Speaker 2: bring it up in any conversation, right.
- 0:19Speaker 1: My wife said, her quote was you get two weeks
- 0:22Speaker 1: to make the trip your entire personality, which is I
- 0:25Speaker 1: think I'm doing a pretty good job with that.
- 0:27Speaker 3: That is solid.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Yeah, But that said, every time, like a waiter or
- 0:31Speaker 1: somebody in Italy would ask where we're from, and it
- 0:33Speaker 1: was pretty obvious, right, We'd say the US, and they'd
- 0:37Speaker 1: say something like good luck in November or something, or
- 0:42Speaker 1: somebody said I said, hey, idea, have you ever been
- 0:45Speaker 1: to the US? And they said no, and they would
- 0:48Speaker 1: they just they all have a lot of opinions about
- 0:50Speaker 1: the US.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Kind of a negative connotation though. Yeah.
- 0:53Speaker 1: One literally said like, oh, you guys, all you do
- 0:55Speaker 1: is shoot each other.
- 0:56Speaker 3: I'm like, wow, geez all, we do.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Really interesting though, to get an outside take on what
- 1:01Speaker 2: people it is because we're just so immersed with what
- 1:06Speaker 2: we're in every single day.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't imagine somebody from Italy coming here and
- 1:10Speaker 1: me going like, wow, well, good luck with the election
- 1:12Speaker 1: coming up?
- 1:13Speaker 3: Really, man, can you toss me a posta recipe? I
- 1:17Speaker 3: mean truly, I.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Wouldn't unless Mussolini's running again. I'm not gonna be that
- 1:21Speaker 1: familiar and you know Mussolini. Yeah, yeah, man, it looked
- 1:24Speaker 1: at me like him crazy, like I'm speaking Italian. Okay, So,
- 1:29Speaker 1: speaking of the election, you know, it is having an
- 1:32Speaker 1: effect on all of our lives, but specifically daters, people
- 1:35Speaker 1: who are out there dating.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Oh, I can imagine it.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Says seventy two percent this new study of daters are
- 1:42Speaker 1: having politically charged conversations with a match on dating apps.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Fifty five percent of daters would be interested in dating
- 1:49Speaker 1: someone with opposing political views, but most people say they
- 1:53Speaker 1: don't want to date someone who doesn't vote.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Interesting you bring this up. One of my girlfriends got
- 1:58Speaker 2: on him. Okay, was the name of the app, door Hinge,
- 2:03Speaker 2: and it goes through a bunch of different questions, and
- 2:07Speaker 2: that was one thing she was super adamant about. She's like,
- 2:09Speaker 2: I want to make it very clear where I stand
- 2:12Speaker 2: on this. I'm like, you only get like three things
- 2:14Speaker 2: that you get to put on here. Are you sure
- 2:15Speaker 2: you want to really like hang your hat on that?
- 2:17Speaker 2: She goes, Yeah, at this point in my life, I
- 2:19Speaker 2: want to make sure that I'm aligned with somebody that
- 2:22Speaker 2: has my same political views, because there's no reason that
- 2:25Speaker 2: I would.
- 2:26Speaker 3: I mean, she's just anti that. I'm like, well, good
- 2:28Speaker 3: for you. It just it was kind of shocking.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it is narrowing the pool, that's for sure, absolutely,
- 2:34Speaker 1: which you know as you get older, the older you get,
- 2:36Speaker 1: the narrower the pool. It's not like so much shooting
- 2:39Speaker 1: fish in a barrel anymore, like maybe you know, college.
- 2:43Speaker 1: But that's awesome. I respect her for that. What about
- 2:47Speaker 1: the fact that somebody doesn't vote, not so much their
- 2:50Speaker 1: political alignment, but just the fact that they're I don't
- 2:53Speaker 1: really vote.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I have had so many people tell me within political conversation,
- 2:58Speaker 2: and I don't have a lot of them it doesn't matter.
- 3:00Speaker 2: My vote doesn't matter, And that drives me crazy. That's
- 3:03Speaker 2: really a huge pet peeve of mine. But also more importantly,
- 3:06Speaker 2: when people are arguing about politics and then you find
- 3:08Speaker 2: out that they don't even vote, so why are you
- 3:10Speaker 2: Why are you yelling and being this big, huge voice
- 3:13Speaker 2: but you've never even voted because you don't think your
- 3:16Speaker 2: vote matters.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Of course it does. I mean you have that right,
- 3:18Speaker 3: go ahead and do it.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I know sometimes people feel, oh, well, our nor to
- 3:22Speaker 2: go to votes don't even matter.
- 3:24Speaker 3: But if everybody thought that exactly.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Now, if you want to get into like the technical
- 3:29Speaker 1: you know, like electoral electoral college, that they just really
- 3:32Speaker 1: they're the ones deciding it, which is true, but of
- 3:35Speaker 1: course they go with whatever the I don't care to
- 3:38Speaker 1: do this.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I know, well you are not a political chit chat station,
- 3:41Speaker 2: but I do totally agree that it can make or
- 3:46Speaker 2: break a relationship.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Absolutely, thankfully not an issue in ours. In yours either,
- 3:52Speaker 1: I imagine even though your husband, Nick, I think, is
- 3:55Speaker 1: a pretty politically charged guy as it.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Is, he's got his his stance, I've got mine. They
- 4:02Speaker 2: align for the most part. There are some things that
- 4:05Speaker 2: we don't agree on, which also I feel like that's healthy.
- 4:08Speaker 1: I mean, we that gives you something to talk about.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean there's times where we'll be watching the
- 4:13Speaker 2: news together and we'll look at each other it's like, yeah,
- 4:16Speaker 2: just shut it off because there's no reason to even
- 4:18Speaker 2: go there because we don't agree on it.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Every relationship needs a little friction because you know what
- 4:24Speaker 1: friction creates, don't you.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Gosh, you're going deep here. What does that create?
- 4:29Speaker 1: Pike in one second, because you know what friction creates.
- 4:34Speaker 1: No pike, I don't heat.
- 4:39Speaker 3: H Ot was that worth it? That wasay good? Thank you?
- 4:44Speaker 3: He really bringing that home?
- 4:45Speaker 4: Pike in a minute in the morning, big nutty eight
- 4:47Speaker 4: point seven.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Another trend to be concerned about it if you have kids,
- 4:50Speaker 1: especially this one as stupid as they come. I mean,
- 4:53Speaker 1: there's no tide pod challenge, but dey fashion braces.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Have you heard about the each?
- 4:58Speaker 5: Oh?
- 4:58Speaker 3: Stop it like actual break for your teeth? That's correct.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Demand it.
- 5:02Speaker 1: For whatever reason, teens think that they like the look
- 5:05Speaker 1: of having braces, and so instead of just going to
- 5:08Speaker 1: an orthodonis like we all did growing up except me,
- 5:11Speaker 1: perfect teeth, good job by except for the Danes and
- 5:14Speaker 1: like that. The first one to get braces in sixth
- 5:17Speaker 1: grade were you really yeah, Chattanooga Chu Chu train is well,
- 5:19Speaker 1: we happened to be singing in music class at the
- 5:22Speaker 1: time too, so I would walk in and they'd go
- 5:24Speaker 1: Chattanooga Chu chu, and they'd make fun of me because
- 5:28Speaker 1: I had train tracks on.
- 5:29Speaker 2: My really like they had never seen braces not, I
- 5:32Speaker 2: mean not really in our class, you know what I mean.
- 5:35Speaker 2: It was fifth and sixth grade was in one group.
- 5:37Speaker 2: You kind of liked it, though, I bet you know
- 5:38Speaker 2: it was awful. But you know what I did love
- 5:41Speaker 2: is in eighth grade, when everybody was getting them in,
- 5:43Speaker 2: mine were already off because I.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Only had to wear them for a year on the top.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Really nah huh, So that felt really good, just knowing, like,
- 5:50Speaker 2: look at my perfect teeth and you're just now getting
- 5:52Speaker 2: started and you have to wear them for however many years.
- 5:55Speaker 1: A bunch of idiots got to take those rubber bands
- 5:58Speaker 1: off off, letting me.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Vent Yea, I didn't have to do that because I
- 6:01Speaker 2: only had the one.
- 6:02Speaker 3: I can't imagine.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I mean, I love eating corn as akay, I still
- 6:05Speaker 1: do as an adult man.
- 6:07Speaker 3: But he've been about taking those braces off though, I mean,
- 6:09Speaker 3: that was glorious, I bet I can imagine.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Well, now kids are paying people to put these braces
- 6:17Speaker 1: on them. Some are doing what they call basement braces
- 6:22Speaker 1: from nounlicensed providers, which can cost some between three and
- 6:25Speaker 1: seven thousand dollars for that. Couldn't you just get the
- 6:28Speaker 1: professional braces? I mean how much?
- 6:30Speaker 2: You know, I'm not sure the going rate for braces.
- 6:32Speaker 2: I know it's not cheap, but ultimately it's something that
- 6:35Speaker 2: a professional.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Needs to be doing. Am I going to argue absolutely?
- 6:38Speaker 1: Doctors are now coming up advising against this due to
- 6:42Speaker 1: the potential for oral infections to damage misalignment. They say
- 6:47Speaker 1: that it even has the potential to cause heart attacks,
- 6:51Speaker 1: like people have died of this.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Is it because of what they're using to put it on.
- 6:55Speaker 2: I'm envisioning like rubber cement, literally like gorilla glu ors.
- 7:00Speaker 1: TikTok video has surface of a person demonstrating putting on
- 7:03Speaker 1: fake brace is using you guessed it, a hot glue gun.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, we're gonna need to shut this challenge down
- 7:10Speaker 2: or whatever this thing is.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Well, she's never gonna be able to stop a couple
- 7:15Speaker 1: idiots out there.
- 7:17Speaker 3: I just you know, I don't get it.
- 7:18Speaker 1: So be aware if one day little Susie comes upstairs
- 7:23Speaker 1: for breakfast, she's got what'd you call him, the chattahoochie.
- 7:27Speaker 2: The tracks Chattanooga shoo choo tracks. If she's got the
- 7:30Speaker 2: chadow hoochie, tracks in her mouth. You might want to
- 7:32Speaker 2: talk to her, you might want to set her down.
- 7:34Speaker 2: There are moms and Dad's probably going, wait, so how
- 7:36Speaker 2: much are these No, I'm miskidding.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Wit and Amanda in the morning on Big seven and
- 7:42Speaker 3: now Amanda stills the seat we's see huh.
- 7:47Speaker 2: This is interesting. It was about a year ago people
- 7:50Speaker 2: were starting to kind of speculate Travis Kelzi.
- 7:52Speaker 3: And Taylor Swift's relationship.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Is it all just a showman's And there are a
- 7:58Speaker 2: lot of couples and celebrities that do this, whether it
- 8:01Speaker 2: be for a movie that they're promoting. Some people thought
- 8:05Speaker 2: this was politically driven. There's just been a lot of
- 8:07Speaker 2: different things out there.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Well, napple, Either there's two sides of it, whether their
- 8:11Speaker 1: career is like floundering, you know, they're on the way
- 8:14Speaker 1: down they need to pick me up, or if they're
- 8:15Speaker 1: on the way up and they need a little boost,
- 8:17Speaker 1: but not either of these people.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Kind of a play out of the Kardashian playbook, which
- 8:22Speaker 2: we have seen for so many years. Well, Travis Kelce
- 8:24Speaker 2: calls in his lawyers after a PR contract that shows
- 8:27Speaker 2: Taylor Swift's breakup timeline was posted on Reddit. It was
- 8:30Speaker 2: originally posted on Snapchat, but the alleged doc says, and
- 8:33Speaker 2: it is in the PR like header of what Travis Kelce,
- 8:38Speaker 2: his PR.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Firm or whoever he was working, it's it looks legit.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Of course, now with AI and all that, people are
- 8:44Speaker 2: going this probably isn't real.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Nothing's real.
- 8:47Speaker 2: But in this doc he apparently says that he's breaking
- 8:50Speaker 2: up a Taylor Swift on September twenty eighth.
- 8:52Speaker 3: It's that's how it's supposed to be.
- 8:54Speaker 2: This was how it was supposed to be initiated, and
- 8:56Speaker 2: the process of it.
- 8:58Speaker 3: He is denying it of core super duper fake.
- 9:01Speaker 2: But the one thing, though Taylor Travis's rep has admitted
- 9:05Speaker 2: to putting together show mances all the way back in
- 9:07Speaker 2: twenty nineteen, he made that statement.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Okay, what do It's possible?
- 9:13Speaker 1: But then just imagine, imagine a world where it was
- 9:16Speaker 1: real that Taylor Swift wanted this to help promote her, Like,
- 9:19Speaker 1: what if she was we all think of her as
- 9:22Speaker 1: a super kind and generous person. What if she was
- 9:24Speaker 1: just crazy money hungry and this was all a ployed
- 9:28Speaker 1: just to make more money on the aras tour.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Just does not feel that way. That's not the energy
- 9:32Speaker 2: I get from her. There are a lot of people
- 9:34Speaker 2: that dislike her that feel that, but the way she
- 9:37Speaker 2: gives back what she does her passions, that seems crazy to.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Go up front.
- 9:41Speaker 2: But also Travis Kelcey and Jason they just made a
- 9:45Speaker 2: hundred million dollars on their podcast from.
- 9:47Speaker 1: The Table, just saying it aren't conspiracy is more fun,
- 9:51Speaker 1: the more fun to believe him.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Speaking of show, Mance's it been a long time since
- 9:56Speaker 2: I've watched The Bachelor or Bachelorette, but the finale was
- 9:59Speaker 2: on last night and my feed was blowing up. I
- 10:01Speaker 2: had to catch up on what happened Jen who was
- 10:04Speaker 2: the bachelorette. She proposed or Devin, and she said, this
- 10:09Speaker 2: is who I want to be with. I love you
- 10:10Speaker 2: all this stuff Devin proposed. It was a whole deal
- 10:13Speaker 2: and they were so happy for like five minutes. So
- 10:17Speaker 2: you know how after they go through the love story,
- 10:20Speaker 2: they go to the live show the after the rose. Well,
- 10:24Speaker 2: what ended up happening is Jen started crying. She said
- 10:27Speaker 2: he broke off their engagement during a fifteen minute phone call.
- 10:31Speaker 2: It sounds like they were only together for two months.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Fifteen minutes. What they talk about for the last thirteen. Yesse,
- 10:38Speaker 1: you don't need that much time to say, hey, lady,
- 10:41Speaker 1: I mean.
- 10:41Speaker 2: To be fair with better, better than a text message.
- 10:44Speaker 2: But it also kind of feels like this had a
- 10:46Speaker 2: little something to do with it.
- 10:47Speaker 5: You've fallen girls on Instagram enough to send a girl.
- 10:49Speaker 3: But Maria, Maria.
- 10:53Speaker 5: Not only is that so disrespectful to everything that we
- 10:58Speaker 5: had shared together, I just still understand it why you
- 11:02Speaker 5: would do something like that, because it completely invalidated our
- 11:06Speaker 5: entire relationship, everything that had felt for you, everything that
- 11:09Speaker 5: we'd felt for each other.
- 11:11Speaker 3: That's a little extreme.
- 11:12Speaker 1: I get you don't like to find out they're following somebody.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Yes, they have an ongoing beef over Jen being the
- 11:19Speaker 2: second choice to the bachelorette behind Maria. Like, there's just
- 11:22Speaker 2: been a whole lot of drama between these two. Pretty shady.
- 11:26Speaker 2: But then you also have to just look at this
- 11:28Speaker 2: whole thing because it's usually only two months total.
- 11:33Speaker 3: I just never realized how old I'm getting. How old
- 11:35Speaker 3: are you now? Thirty thirty eight? I'm thirty eight? Yeah, Jesus.
- 11:44Speaker 2: But this guy, everybody was saying he duped her, he
- 11:50Speaker 2: duped her.
- 11:50Speaker 3: He's a new bachelor villain. And listen, to what a
- 11:53Speaker 3: TOOLI is.
- 11:54Speaker 6: You know, it's hard to like sit here and deny
- 11:58Speaker 6: what you're accusing me of, and it's hard to sit
- 11:59Speaker 6: here and kind of put it into those words.
- 12:02Speaker 2: You know.
- 12:03Speaker 6: I told you way back when that I was trying
- 12:07Speaker 6: to scour my brain to find some external reason to
- 12:10Speaker 6: why this was happening to me. I was very honest
- 12:13Speaker 6: with you at every step and every every doubt.
- 12:16Speaker 2: No, you weren't.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Until last month.
- 12:17Speaker 6: I was regretfully late on letting you know you are.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Homeless, regretful bad. But isn't that gonna be the line?
- 12:25Speaker 2: I mean, that's what regretfully late on letting you know that,
- 12:29Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I didn't like you after all.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Listen to defend him, and I know, probably not the
- 12:34Speaker 1: guy I should be defending. But sometimes, like you have
- 12:37Speaker 1: those thoughts and it takes a long time. Do you
- 12:39Speaker 1: have to have these conversations with yourself to really decide
- 12:43Speaker 1: if it is what you want or don't want? Yes,
- 12:45Speaker 1: So it's not like you're supposed to the first moment
- 12:47Speaker 1: you ever thought of I actually maybe don't like this person.
- 12:50Speaker 1: You don't just immediately I know, and I get they
- 12:53Speaker 1: don't like that, But that's the reality of it, this
- 12:55Speaker 1: world we live in.
- 12:56Speaker 2: There you go and bike back from Italy? Did you
- 13:01Speaker 2: know that we have a baby Bieber? We've been on
- 13:03Speaker 2: the watch all summer long and now we have Jack
- 13:05Speaker 2: Blues Bieber.
- 13:06Speaker 1: My wife did inform me on our trip that Haley
- 13:09Speaker 1: Bieber had her baby.
- 13:10Speaker 2: So the news spread across the world quick. And it
- 13:12Speaker 2: looks like she got her first first. Who knows how
- 13:15Speaker 2: many she's gonna get all kinds of great gifts, I'm sure,
- 13:17Speaker 2: but she got a push present I think from Justin Bieber.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Maybe she went and boughted herself. Doesn't matter.
- 13:21Speaker 2: But she has a ring that she showed yesterday on
- 13:23Speaker 2: Instagram and says, mom, oh not just like most of
- 13:26Speaker 2: our mom like mama jewelry that all of us wear.
- 13:30Speaker 2: This is like a diamond and crust.
- 13:31Speaker 3: I don't have any of that. You don't have any
- 13:33Speaker 3: mama gear, No, not yet. I have enough for both
- 13:36Speaker 3: of us. I think, yeah, you do. You have all
- 13:38Speaker 3: kind of graphic teas. That's a mom.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Every once in a while I'll toss one on. But
- 13:43Speaker 2: speaking of push presents, I was like, gosh, what were mine?
- 13:46Speaker 3: I don't think you need a that's a new thing.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Listen to you. I don't think you need no finish
- 13:52Speaker 3: the sentence.
- 13:53Speaker 1: I don't think you deserve it. I just have showers
- 13:59Speaker 1: and things like that. We don't need push present a baby.
- 14:04Speaker 1: It's worse than a.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Wedding in the morning on Big Nutty eight points.
- 14:12Speaker 1: So, as I was making my travel to and from
- 14:14Speaker 1: Italy over the last couple of weeks, a lot of
- 14:16Speaker 1: airport time, a lot of airplane time, meaning I had
- 14:19Speaker 1: a lot of things I needed to.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Watch or listen to or read or whatever.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Absolutely, so I happened to stumble across on Netflix a
- 14:25Speaker 1: documentary I'm sure, one of the many about Lacy Peterson
- 14:30Speaker 1: and Scott Peterson.
- 14:31Speaker 3: Right, is this a new one? I think it's new
- 14:33Speaker 3: ish because I feel like I've watched them all.
- 14:36Speaker 2: And then it was a few weeks ago, and maybe
- 14:38Speaker 2: it was you and I talking about this that he's
- 14:40Speaker 2: trying to go back on every He's like, no, I
- 14:43Speaker 2: did not kill her, and he wanted an appeal.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Well, they did overturn the death penalty that happened recently. Okay,
- 14:50Speaker 1: they not because he didn't do it, but because of
- 14:53Speaker 1: you know, the trial and the proceed and how it happened.
- 14:57Speaker 1: So he's still in life for prison. But in the documentary,
- 15:00Speaker 1: which was good because it had had her mom and
- 15:03Speaker 1: a lot of the family and a lot of the friends.
- 15:05Speaker 1: So the friends of Lacey Peterson are sitting there being interviewed,
- 15:09Speaker 1: and they were talking about how when they just had
- 15:11Speaker 1: met Lacey and Scott Peterson, how he was what they
- 15:14Speaker 1: now know to be love bombing her. Ooh, and I
- 15:18Speaker 1: heard that phrase. I'm like, that sounds familiar, but I
- 15:20Speaker 1: wasn't really sure. And they made it seem like it
- 15:22Speaker 1: was this very common new thing, love bombing.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Have you heard of that?
- 15:26Speaker 2: I if I remember right, I want to say, this
- 15:29Speaker 2: is kind of what Kanye West like, that was what
- 15:32Speaker 2: he was, like one of the first like celebrities, Like
- 15:34Speaker 2: that's how he was going after Kim Kardashi.
- 15:36Speaker 3: And they were saying it was like a love bomb situation.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Well even then because he knew her, right, so they described,
- 15:42Speaker 1: So I've done some research because I wanted to, you know,
- 15:44Speaker 1: educate myself and everybody else. So love bombing is where
- 15:48Speaker 1: a manipulator uses tactics by like overly sharing their desire
- 15:53Speaker 1: to be with you, showering you with affection gifts, prioritizing you,
- 15:58Speaker 1: and it's all before they really get to know you.
- 16:01Speaker 1: And then suddenly, once they gain your trust, because you're like,
- 16:04Speaker 1: oh my god, this person's great.
- 16:05Speaker 3: What did I do deserve all this, they stop.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Doing it and then they go and love bomb somebody
- 16:10Speaker 2: else because in that case, didn't Scott Peterson have an affair?
- 16:14Speaker 3: And that's how they ended up finding out.
- 16:15Speaker 2: I mean, this woman was like, oh my gosh, this
- 16:18Speaker 2: is a guy I've been dating for however many months.
- 16:21Speaker 1: And not to get to into it, but it was
- 16:24Speaker 1: good because they had her the person who was she
- 16:27Speaker 1: goins to not be a mistress. She said that he
- 16:29Speaker 1: told her that they were divorced. In fact, he told
- 16:32Speaker 1: her that his wife had passed away three weeks before
- 16:35Speaker 1: she did pass away. But yes, breaking so similar. So
- 16:39Speaker 1: then this manipulator will take away that love bombing and
- 16:42Speaker 1: now the person feels like, well, what did I do?
- 16:45Speaker 3: What?
- 16:46Speaker 1: I must have done something wrong to not be getting
- 16:48Speaker 1: this anymore, and you're probably think of it. So I
- 16:51Speaker 1: certainly can think of people I know that I've done
- 16:54Speaker 1: that exact same thing, and so you know, one of
- 16:57Speaker 1: the red flags of love bombing and those compliments tons
- 17:01Speaker 1: of affection wanting to be together morning, noon, and night.
- 17:04Speaker 1: It's hard to differentiate between somebody just genuinely being excited
- 17:09Speaker 1: about a new relationship and then a crazy manipulator.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Yeah, but it also sometimes feels like there's a very
- 17:15Speaker 2: very high high and a very very low low hearing,
- 17:18Speaker 2: you know. I mean that's kind of probably if you
- 17:20Speaker 2: were looking for a red flag somebody who's like all in,
- 17:23Speaker 2: but then at the turn of a switch, it's, oh,
- 17:25Speaker 2: who are you.
- 17:26Speaker 1: It's kind of like a like if it was a
- 17:27Speaker 1: TV show, like the music would change and ka, yeah,
- 17:31Speaker 1: dark all of a sudden.
- 17:32Speaker 2: But when you're in these situations, I think it is
- 17:34Speaker 2: so easy to ignore because you've been love bombs so hard.
- 17:39Speaker 2: It's like, there's no way this person couldn't possibly really
- 17:42Speaker 2: love me. But then you become so insecure that you
- 17:44Speaker 2: need them, and that's what.
- 17:45Speaker 3: They want exactly. It's all a game.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Actually, they say it did get some more popularity on
- 17:51Speaker 1: the most recent season of Love Island.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Somebody just told me.
- 17:55Speaker 1: About their shell. I love it. It is good as
- 17:58Speaker 1: far as reality TV goes. It's the perfect amount of
- 18:01Speaker 1: trashy and I do enjoy Love Island. But apparently there
- 18:05Speaker 1: was a person on the show named Kaylor Taylor with
- 18:08Speaker 1: a cave and I don't think i've heard of ca
- 18:10Speaker 1: mean neither. But she called out Aaron for love bombing her,
- 18:13Speaker 1: and she lamented that she quote wasted her entire summer
- 18:18Speaker 1: on their relationship, which it's like, wow, poor girl, poor
- 18:22Speaker 1: Kaylor wasted the entire summer of love Island.
- 18:25Speaker 2: That takes me back to the song strawberry wine. How's that,
- 18:29Speaker 2: Dena Carter? Strawberry wine. Strawberry wine have been something all summer.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Maybe it was just the summer of I only had
- 18:38Speaker 2: strawberry wine for three months back in the day with
- 18:40Speaker 2: a guy too. Yeah, I'm trying to kind of help
- 18:43Speaker 2: you out here drawn some sort of parallel, but I
- 18:46Speaker 2: don't know. Yeah, I'm sure, but I still don't interesting. Okay,
- 18:49Speaker 2: can you give me one second. We have all the time,
- 18:51Speaker 2: we have all morning. He had been working through college
- 18:54Speaker 2: on the grandpa's farm all summer long, and then that
- 18:58Speaker 2: hot July moon. They saw every thing. It was a
- 19:00Speaker 2: great taste of summer. They still remember it. But then
- 19:03Speaker 2: I think it just ended, fizzled out. I don't know
- 19:05Speaker 2: if I would call that love bombing. There's not to
- 19:08Speaker 2: be fair. There's not enough information. Maybe the guy did,
- 19:11Speaker 2: but I don't think she's accusing him for manipulating her.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it gets to it at the end of
- 19:16Speaker 3: by the Bridge. He's a full on lunatic.
- 19:19Speaker 4: Like it a minute in the morning on Big Seven.
- 19:24Speaker 1: You know, it's funny to think about you and I
- 19:25Speaker 1: growing up and probably everybody listening the shows that we
- 19:29Speaker 1: watched as kids, and how today you probably shouldn't be
- 19:32Speaker 1: letting your kids watch shows like that. And so I
- 19:34Speaker 1: got a list of the shows that we all watch
- 19:35Speaker 1: growing up that definitely you want to probably keep off
- 19:38Speaker 1: the TV or now the ipattern.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Or do you think that it's it. We were just
- 19:42Speaker 2: young and naive and it went over our heads a.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Little bit, well mostly, but you're gonna catch on eventually.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Like I remember growing up every single night watching South Park,
- 19:52Speaker 1: really right, and it was just on cable TV, one
- 19:54Speaker 1: of the greatest shows of all time.
- 19:56Speaker 3: But you're right, yeah, but.
- 19:57Speaker 1: I mean that provided me everything I needed to go
- 20:01Speaker 1: to school and be the dirtiest kid at the school.
- 20:04Speaker 2: And also that isn't and maybe there were parents who
- 20:07Speaker 2: were just busy not even realizing it, knowing like, oh,
- 20:09Speaker 2: that's a cartoon, you know, you're peeking in the room, like,
- 20:12Speaker 2: must be watching a cute little cartoon kids.
- 20:15Speaker 3: No, not so much.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Well, they wouldn't have to stick around long. But it
- 20:17Speaker 1: was always at night, so I was in bed. I
- 20:19Speaker 1: don't know, I had a TV in my room, I guess.
- 20:21Speaker 1: And lucky you Well at my mom's house, you know
- 20:24Speaker 1: it is dad's house. Was we were locked in mom's house?
- 20:28Speaker 1: Anything went, Oh, that's funny. Another one. I know this
- 20:31Speaker 1: was one of your favorites, Beverly Hills nine oh two
- 20:33Speaker 1: one oh so good. But looking back, and I have
- 20:36Speaker 1: not seen this show. Do you think it would be
- 20:38Speaker 1: good for kids now? Or it was very dramatic?
- 20:42Speaker 3: Right it was?
- 20:43Speaker 2: Yeah, And I again I never really had thoughts about it.
- 20:46Speaker 2: That in Melrose Place where two shows that my mom
- 20:49Speaker 2: and I watched together growing up for years.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Well, she must have been okay with it then, of course. Apparently, yeah,
- 20:58Speaker 1: it was. Uh, what do they say? It's just a
- 21:01Speaker 1: lot of the drama's just like teens. Of course they
- 21:04Speaker 1: were teens, right, Yes, it's one of the shows where
- 21:06Speaker 1: they're teens, but they're thirty eight years old or whatever
- 21:09Speaker 1: like the actors. Oh totally, yeah. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
- 21:13Speaker 1: makes the list.
- 21:14Speaker 3: I kinda not really got into that.
- 21:18Speaker 2: It was more of like, I heard it kind of new,
- 21:20Speaker 2: but you didn't actually get into it.
- 21:22Speaker 3: We were all very aware that it existed, But did
- 21:25Speaker 3: he actually watch it right?
- 21:26Speaker 1: Or is it one that you immediately flipped once it
- 21:28Speaker 1: came up. I were scared of vampires, so it wasn't
- 21:30Speaker 1: for me, right, They are scary, objectively scary things. Now
- 21:33Speaker 1: they say it's a tricky one because on one hand,
- 21:35Speaker 1: you've got this amazing strong female role model, oh Buffy,
- 21:39Speaker 1: But on the other hand, there's a lot of death
- 21:41Speaker 1: and darkness in there as well, pretty little liars you
- 21:45Speaker 1: ever watched that.
- 21:45Speaker 3: I did not get into that kind the same as
- 21:47Speaker 3: a gossip girl. I know. That's sort of like the
- 21:50Speaker 3: newer age kids show teen show.
- 21:52Speaker 2: I can't remember who I was having a conversation with,
- 21:54Speaker 2: but somebody was just telling me that their kids were
- 21:57Speaker 2: watching I Carly, which would have been on Nickelodeon, and
- 22:00Speaker 2: just saying, how you pop into that and you hear
- 22:03Speaker 2: it and you're like, oh my gosh, it's just a
- 22:04Speaker 2: bunch of mean girls. Like it's just not as good
- 22:07Speaker 2: as you would think for a show like that.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Yeah, realistic though. That's kind of how I felt about
- 22:12Speaker 3: Pepa Pig growing up. Pepa realistic. No, when my kids
- 22:16Speaker 3: we were into Pepa Pig, it was more sid not nice.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Really'd be listening to some of the stuff. I'm like,
- 22:23Speaker 3: I'm not here for this, Papa. Wait, Pepa was mean.
- 22:27Speaker 2: I can't remember if Pepa was mean to brother George
- 22:30Speaker 2: or if it was her friend Susie, but yeah, it was.
- 22:31Speaker 3: A whole deal. Pepa better be careful. I remember having
- 22:34Speaker 3: feelings about it. Interesting.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Another one, and this is going to be a throwback.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I don't know if you've watched this, but a very
- 22:40Speaker 1: specific part of my life Rocko's Modern Life on Nicolas.
- 22:44Speaker 2: I remember hearing it, but I don't. That was not
- 22:47Speaker 2: something I watched.
- 22:49Speaker 1: It was similar to like Ren and Stimpy, because that's
- 22:51Speaker 1: on the list two of shows that basically we watched
- 22:53Speaker 1: his kids, but in no way should you be letting
- 22:55Speaker 1: your kids watch them nowadays.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Well, we used to watch I mean, Real World, Growing,
- 23:00Speaker 2: Beavis and butt Head. I mean, think of some of
- 23:02Speaker 2: the shows that were on MTV at the time.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, I ran and Stimpy. It was disgusting.
- 23:06Speaker 1: I mean it was violent and it was just like
- 23:09Speaker 1: a lot of boogers, like you know what I mean.
- 23:11Speaker 2: It was just icky kind And again I kind of
- 23:14Speaker 2: remember it because that was on during Rugrats and Doug,
- 23:17Speaker 2: wasn't it kind of that same era.
- 23:19Speaker 1: What you're describing as the peak of all humanity? Yeah,
- 23:22Speaker 1: that was then.
- 23:24Speaker 4: Now here's what you need to know.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Fargo Police say that the FBI is now leading the
- 23:29Speaker 2: investigation into the series of bomb threats. This happened last week, Pike,
- 23:32Speaker 2: when you were gone. There were six of them. Oh
- 23:34Speaker 2: I read none were found credible.
- 23:35Speaker 3: You just made it all the way to Italy? Did
- 23:37Speaker 3: it good? Great? Well, at least it was on my
- 23:39Speaker 3: Facebook feed.
- 23:40Speaker 2: There were the two at Fargo South High School Wednesday
- 23:43Speaker 2: and Friday.
- 23:44Speaker 3: There were four others.
- 23:44Speaker 2: One of them was over on Walmart on fifty second Avenue.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Fargo Police said that the FBI is taking over the
- 23:49Speaker 2: investigation due to the origins of the threats, but did
- 23:52Speaker 2: not elaborate further as they should.
- 23:55Speaker 3: I mean, it's so frustrating when stuff like this.
- 23:58Speaker 1: And I don't mean the joke about it. I know,
- 23:59Speaker 1: it's horrifying. I had people on my Facebook feed who
- 24:02Speaker 1: have kids, yeah, the South and just you know of
- 24:05Speaker 1: course you hear bomb threats a lot. I think we
- 24:07Speaker 1: probably both had them when we were kids had to
- 24:09Speaker 1: evacuate the school. I just don't get what the motivation is.
- 24:13Speaker 1: People just wanting to cause any kind of chaos.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Well, and then there was like a year ago, the
- 24:18Speaker 2: swatting calls are super popular. People think that it's funny,
- 24:22Speaker 2: but ultimately when somebody says bomb threat, I'm instantly in
- 24:27Speaker 2: my mind now I'm like, oh, it's probably a swatting call.
- 24:29Speaker 2: And that's what scares me the most, you know what
- 24:31Speaker 2: I mean, You're like, gosh, you don't think it's because
- 24:34Speaker 2: they're happening in so much in my mind and.
- 24:36Speaker 3: My mind call that's where they're calling this. Getting the
- 24:38Speaker 3: swat team to show up to somebody's house was the trend.
- 24:41Speaker 3: I don't know if it was a sixtoss trend or
- 24:43Speaker 3: what it was. And that's the scariest part, not the
- 24:45Speaker 3: chance that there might be a bomb.
- 24:47Speaker 2: This is what I'm saying, is like now, because everybody's
- 24:49Speaker 2: doing them all the time, the scariest thing to me
- 24:51Speaker 2: is in my mind, I'm like, probably a swatting call.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Right, you know what I mean. Well, even prior to
- 24:56Speaker 3: that bomb threats.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Like I said, they're very frequent in the frequency of
- 24:59Speaker 1: the actually being bombs.
- 25:01Speaker 3: Thankfully it's close to zero. All right.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Gateway out of Group has confirmed on social media that
- 25:05Speaker 2: they are the ones who purchased the property along Maine
- 25:07Speaker 2: Avenue by the Biltmore Hotel and o'kelly's over there. They
- 25:12Speaker 2: just close over the weekend and now it's gonna be
- 25:15Speaker 2: an extension of Gateway.
- 25:16Speaker 3: All right, there you go.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Everybody has a lot to say about what businesses are
- 25:21Speaker 1: doing in town and like we don't need that, we
- 25:23Speaker 1: don't need It's like, well, it's not like the city
- 25:25Speaker 1: just decides what everybody needs. They're businesses that see an
- 25:29Speaker 1: opportunity and are trying to believe it or not make
- 25:32Speaker 1: money and.
- 25:33Speaker 2: So and what a great way to be able to
- 25:36Speaker 2: just expand where you're at.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Absolutely, if I'm John Gateway, no I don't think that's
- 25:45Speaker 1: the owner's name. No, No, we don't the owners and
- 25:49Speaker 1: it's not John Gateway. Now they're really good people. Actually
- 25:53Speaker 1: I know last name not Gateway. I think that's just
- 25:55Speaker 1: a cool name.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Amanda oh Man, this is a.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Great morning off, great story like doing that, Like when
- 26:03Speaker 1: it's a a brand name that.
- 26:06Speaker 3: One just hit so different. But yes, it'd be like uh.
- 26:10Speaker 1: And west Acres, yeah, creator of Westakers or you know
- 26:14Speaker 1: the guy who invented floss right floss?
- 26:17Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Greg Floss? What was his name? Good man?
- 26:23Speaker 3: All Right?
- 26:23Speaker 2: The NFL season kicks is off tomorrow, and there's some
- 26:26Speaker 2: bold predictions from the Athletic.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Is that a legit Sourcepike?
- 26:31Speaker 4: Very?
- 26:31Speaker 3: Okay? Good?
- 26:31Speaker 1: Don't you know what the Athletic, I don't know. They
- 26:33Speaker 1: came around a few years ago, but they took basically
- 26:35Speaker 1: all the best writers in the in the industry and
- 26:38Speaker 1: now they but it's a subscription based good.
- 26:41Speaker 2: To hear, because I was waiting for you to fall
- 26:43Speaker 2: out of your chair when I said, no, this is
- 26:45Speaker 2: a hot news from the Athletics.
- 26:47Speaker 3: This is about as credible as it gets.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Okay, Well, they say the Chiefs will not have a
- 26:51Speaker 2: three peat.
- 26:51Speaker 3: That's their hot take. That's their hospital hot take.
- 26:54Speaker 1: I get the Chiefs are good, but still, even as
- 26:57Speaker 1: the favorites to win the Super Bowl, it's not likely
- 27:00Speaker 1: we'll make it from a probability standard.
- 27:02Speaker 4: Right.
- 27:02Speaker 2: They also say the Super Bowl will feature the Bengals
- 27:05Speaker 2: and the forty nine ers.
- 27:06Speaker 3: Stupid, because well they got half of it wrong anyway.
- 27:08Speaker 2: I know that they say Aaron Rodgers returns to MVP form,
- 27:13Speaker 2: they say Joe Burrows beats out Rogers for MVP and comeback.
- 27:17Speaker 3: Player of the year. Got that wrong.
- 27:18Speaker 2: And the NFL's worst record will go to the Patriots.
- 27:22Speaker 2: They'll finish two in fifteen. So those are their hot
- 27:25Speaker 2: takes for the season. Rolling in, I was just happy
- 27:28Speaker 2: that the worst record wasn't going to the Broncos.
- 27:30Speaker 1: I mean, very well, could be or time key quarterback
- 27:32Speaker 1: they got. There's reason for excitement there the Patriots. It's
- 27:35Speaker 1: just I mean, obviously they had their time go correct,
- 27:38Speaker 1: they're due, but they're.
- 27:39Speaker 3: Not going to be good. Yeah, John Patriot did a
- 27:41Speaker 3: great job with coast guys. There we are, all right, Sonny.
- 27:45Speaker 3: Today I have eighty chances some evening shower.
- 27:49Speaker 4: A minute in the morning, big ninety eight point seven.
- 27:51Speaker 3: What is the best way?
- 27:52Speaker 1: Because I feel like no man has actually mastered this
- 27:56Speaker 1: art of hitting on a woman without being creepy.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Right, I mean, humor, I think is the only way
- 28:04Speaker 2: to go about it that isn't creepy anymore.
- 28:07Speaker 3: But I don't know. I've been out of the game
- 28:08Speaker 3: for a while long while, Well.
- 28:10Speaker 1: There was a Reddit post asking these single women of Reddit,
- 28:14Speaker 1: what's the best way to approach you without coming off
- 28:17Speaker 1: as creepy? And so I'll give you some of the
- 28:19Speaker 1: consensus ways.
- 28:21Speaker 3: To do it. And I do feel bad before.
- 28:23Speaker 2: I don't even know where we're going here, But because
- 28:25Speaker 2: women want you to be direct, you know what I mean, Like,
- 28:27Speaker 2: we sit there and put it out there.
- 28:28Speaker 3: Don't be weird. Just be direct. If you like me,
- 28:30Speaker 3: hit me up.
- 28:31Speaker 2: But at the same time, I don't. Its also made
- 28:34Speaker 2: me alone, you weirdo. Yeah, it's really easy for guys. Yeah,
- 28:38Speaker 2: super duper easy. I do feel bad because there's a
- 28:41Speaker 2: there is that fine line.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Well, they say, for one, be friendly, not flirty to start, Okay,
- 28:48Speaker 1: but where are we thinking?
- 28:49Speaker 3: I'm like in public, Like let's say you're at a
- 28:51Speaker 3: bank and you're hey, and what you putting in that deposit?
- 28:56Speaker 3: I don't. It doesn't only have to be a gross
- 28:58Speaker 3: like sex thing.
- 28:59Speaker 2: I never what are you talking about? I never said
- 29:01Speaker 2: that I was thinking of a bank. Okay, can I
- 29:07Speaker 2: borrow your pen while I ride on the back of
- 29:09Speaker 2: my check?
- 29:10Speaker 3: Now you're talking? Now you're talking? Are you going for
- 29:13Speaker 3: that same cookie that I am? You know?
- 29:15Speaker 1: I mean I and again I'm out of the game too,
- 29:18Speaker 1: But I think just being almost treating them with disinterest
- 29:22Speaker 1: that's the best way to go about it. Like, don't
- 29:25Speaker 1: even make eye contact. It'd be like, can I use
- 29:27Speaker 1: that pin?
- 29:29Speaker 4: Isn't that?
- 29:30Speaker 2: The only way you know somebody is interested is the lingering,
- 29:33Speaker 2: uncomfortable eyes, Like.
- 29:35Speaker 1: You didn't need to ask me for the pen either,
- 29:37Speaker 1: but you're just going out of your way to strike
- 29:38Speaker 1: up a conversation.
- 29:39Speaker 2: If I go out with my girlfriend who's single, and
- 29:42Speaker 2: I know that there's guys looking at.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Her, it's like, don't look.
- 29:45Speaker 2: But then you're looking, and then they're looking, and you know,
- 29:47Speaker 2: and it's like then I flash my like it's not me.
- 29:50Speaker 3: I'm not the one looking. It's so awkward. Oh yeah,
- 29:53Speaker 3: it's so weird. Well, I feel bad for people in
- 29:55Speaker 3: this situation.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Now, when you're in a group, Yeah, that's the most
- 29:59Speaker 1: awkward a new layer. How do you announce to the
- 30:02Speaker 1: group that, like, hey, this is the person I am
- 30:04Speaker 1: interested in, you know, especially if they're multiple single people.
- 30:09Speaker 2: We had a situation a few months back, and it
- 30:12Speaker 2: was my husband and I and then my girlfriend was
- 30:15Speaker 2: hanging out with us who's single, and there was a
- 30:17Speaker 2: group of guys, but there was like the one guy
- 30:19Speaker 2: we were thinking, so, you know, my husband, he just
- 30:22Speaker 2: rips the band aid off.
- 30:23Speaker 3: My girlfriend is mortified. Well, I bet he just.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Walks up and he's like, hey, hot blonde over there,
- 30:28Speaker 2: she's interested in this one.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Are you single?
- 30:31Speaker 2: Like that?
- 30:31Speaker 3: That's great? It was so good.
- 30:34Speaker 2: They ended up buying drinks for all of us. We
- 30:36Speaker 2: ended up hanging out. We had a great time.
- 30:38Speaker 3: Everybody wins. Yeah.
- 30:39Speaker 2: It was just and they ended up being great people,
- 30:41Speaker 2: Like we had a just a hoot with how to workout.
- 30:44Speaker 3: It end up going well for the guy.
- 30:46Speaker 2: They were out of towner, so it was kind of
- 30:48Speaker 2: like probably not a chance, but just for a fun
- 30:50Speaker 2: night in a situation it was like cool.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Yeah, and perhaps to your husband too, because you ever
- 30:54Speaker 1: have it where like you're interested in the one, like,
- 30:57Speaker 1: for example, in this case, your your friend is clearly
- 31:00Speaker 1: eye in the one, but then it maybe the other
- 31:02Speaker 1: one starts to think it's him, and so he starts
- 31:05Speaker 1: getting all flirty and how do you get him to
- 31:07Speaker 1: back down?
- 31:08Speaker 3: Down? Boy?
- 31:09Speaker 1: Another way you can approach a single woman without being creepy, uh,
- 31:14Speaker 1: that would be to compliment them. And this is from
- 31:16Speaker 1: a single woman actually saying, give me compliments, but focus
- 31:19Speaker 1: on things that I have control over versus things I don't.
- 31:23Speaker 3: What's something you don't have control over? I mean, like
- 31:27Speaker 3: color my eyes? Yeah? Color?
- 31:30Speaker 1: I mean you're telling me ladies don't like to hear
- 31:32Speaker 1: that they have nice eyes. Yeah, I don't have control
- 31:34Speaker 1: over that. I know, that's what she's saying. Don't compliment
- 31:37Speaker 1: me things on things I don't have control.
- 31:39Speaker 3: See, I already forgot the rules.
- 31:40Speaker 1: But then, like, are they saying, don't say I'm hot
- 31:44Speaker 1: because you in a way you do some things you
- 31:47Speaker 1: do some things you don't. That's a tough one, breasts,
- 31:50Speaker 1: Is that what she's saying, because who's there's no way
- 31:52Speaker 1: to come up and compliment that without being a creep.
- 31:55Speaker 3: Yeah no, that's just no, you don't.
- 31:57Speaker 2: That's gonna be a nope, not of the bank and
- 32:00Speaker 2: going straight to the creeperville.
- 32:02Speaker 4: I get a minute in the morning. Seven.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Why do people not understand seating assignments on airplanes? And
- 32:09Speaker 1: I saw this viral video and this is kind of cute,
- 32:11Speaker 1: but dogs even have a hard time with this because
- 32:14Speaker 1: there's a have you seen this TikTok of a dog
- 32:16Speaker 1: sitting on an airplane seat like a full on lab
- 32:19Speaker 1: and somebody the dog is in somebody else's seat, and
- 32:22Speaker 1: the lady's standing there in the aisle like hey, and
- 32:25Speaker 1: the dog is just like stone cold, looking at the floor,
- 32:28Speaker 1: pretending she's not there.
- 32:29Speaker 2: I tease for this new flight that is supposed to
- 32:32Speaker 2: be just for animals, or can you just bring a
- 32:34Speaker 2: dog and put them in a seat.
- 32:35Speaker 1: You know, you can bring a pet, but it has
- 32:37Speaker 1: to like fit the carry on requirements.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I've never been on a flight that I can
- 32:42Speaker 2: think of that there was an animal.
- 32:44Speaker 3: Really, there was a dog barking on the plane to Italy.
- 32:47Speaker 3: Not kidding.
- 32:47Speaker 1: It's yeah, insane, right, insane? And I like dogs, I do.
- 32:51Speaker 1: I'm just saying there's certain situations where why am I
- 32:54Speaker 1: hearing a dog barking?
- 32:55Speaker 3: That's all wyrelong?
- 32:57Speaker 4: What light?
- 32:57Speaker 3: I know? What are we doing? We're important? Where's that
- 33:00Speaker 3: dog going to the bathroom?
- 33:01Speaker 2: That's a good question, because no dog is holding it
- 33:04Speaker 2: for was.
- 33:05Speaker 3: It nine and a half hours? Yeah? No, Oh, I've
- 33:07Speaker 3: got questions. Okay, but it's just the people.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Yeah, they never how many times you get on a
- 33:12Speaker 1: plane you look at you double check your boarding paths.
- 33:15Speaker 1: It's like, all right, I'm twenty nine B. And you
- 33:17Speaker 1: look and you're getting close and you see somebody in
- 33:19Speaker 1: the B seat and you're like, I'm pretty sure that's
- 33:21Speaker 1: twenty nine, but I'll get right up there to make sure. Yep,
- 33:24Speaker 1: And you get up there. And this happened to me
- 33:25Speaker 1: on one of the connecting flights. I see a guy
- 33:28Speaker 1: in twenty nine B and I go, excuse me, sir,
- 33:31Speaker 1: I believe you're in my seat, and without even like
- 33:35Speaker 1: him doing the whole pretend to look at his boarding paths. Well,
- 33:38Speaker 1: let me make sure. He goes B is that seat
- 33:41Speaker 1: and he points to the one next to the window.
- 33:43Speaker 1: I go, excuse me, sir. I mean, I haven't flown
- 33:47Speaker 1: the most out of anybody in the world, but I've
- 33:49Speaker 1: flown enough to know that the window seat is A
- 33:52Speaker 1: So get your butt over there. And he's still like,
- 33:55Speaker 1: he got all grumpy, like what are you talking about?
- 33:56Speaker 2: Also, why would you argue with that who wants the
- 33:59Speaker 2: middle seat? Who just plops down in the middle seat.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Wow.
- 34:02Speaker 1: This was one of the little flights from Chicago to Fargo.
- 34:05Speaker 3: So it was like two and two.
- 34:06Speaker 1: So B was the isle, A was the window, got it,
- 34:09Speaker 1: but still it was just the grumpiness, and I'm like,
- 34:12Speaker 1: I looked at him, I go, I'm thinking that. And
- 34:15Speaker 1: I could be crazy, but I'm thinking the order of
- 34:17Speaker 1: the seats from left to right go A, B, C.
- 34:21Speaker 3: And you guessed it? D You said it like that?
- 34:24Speaker 1: No?
- 34:27Speaker 3: Did I say it? If that is not something you
- 34:29Speaker 3: would said.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Suddenly I became the bravest, coolest guy in the world,
- 34:36Speaker 1: like in
- 34:36Speaker 4: A minute in the morning on Big Nutty eight points
- 34:38Speaker 4: seven
