- 0:01I'm laughing because my hair's sticking up lately here.
- 0:07I've been getting my hairs cut shorter and they've
- 0:13automatically been, you know, laying kind of nice.
- 0:17But today I look like Alfalfa. Remember that?
- 0:23What was the name of that show? Alfalfa, when all the the kids
- 0:26would run around, all right, respond right here.
- 0:31OK, that was crazy. I was saying all right to Kim
- 0:34and then telling you to respond right here.
- 0:38Well, all right, listen, it is Memorial Day everyone.
- 0:42And today I want to say thank you to all the families that
- 0:48have lost everybody in all the wars that we've had, everybody
- 0:55that we've lost is what today's about.
- 0:57Today is Memorial Day. We are memorializing everybody
- 1:01that we lost in all the wars. I love you all.
- 1:05I love all you families that this is a hard day for some of
- 1:09you. So Memorial Day is just that.
- 1:13We are memorializing everybody that we lost.
- 1:18All right, take it easy today and let's think about everybody
- 1:22that we've lost and all the loved ones that are still alive,
- 1:26all of you that lost somebody. I love you and I appreciate you
- 1:30because we live in the the best land of all United States of
- 1:34America, baby, home of the free. It's the best.
- 1:39Anybody from anywhere can come over here and start a business.
- 1:44And that, my friends, is badass. OK, let's take it.
- 1:49Let's take a a sip of this high octane Sunoco coffee.
- 1:57There it is. Well, now I know exactly what
- 2:02I'm going to talk about today. That Prime Video, they hit it
- 2:07out of the park. I mean, if Jack, if old Jeff
- 2:11Gluck was to take a little poll right now, I think it'd say 90%
- 2:15good, 10% bad. It should be 100% good.
- 2:20I'm just giving you, you mean people, The 10%, you know, I
- 2:25remember I've always said 80% of the sport, everybody's happy,
- 2:30but there's the 20% and a lot of you, you never going to be
- 2:35happy, but that's OK. That's OK.
- 2:38Because kind of like wrestling, we need the good guy and the bad
- 2:42guy. 80% of everybody, 90% of everybody's good right now.
- 2:48I've never seen. I've never saw.
- 2:53I've never seen saw here I go again, My EDHD.
- 2:58I'm thinking about Steve Craddock on my ass.
- 3:00When I used to do TV Kenny, he used the word seen and saw in
- 3:05the wrong places. I'm like, well, all righty.
- 3:08He handed me two papers of perfect, you know, verbiage.
- 3:14You know my vocabulary. I'm like, go talk to Larry Mack,
- 3:18tell him how to talk. Woke up, looked over.
- 3:22It was 10 O 5I like her. I like Kelly Clarkson.
- 3:27She's just she's normal seems to be normal.
- 3:30I don't want to meet her though, because they say be careful
- 3:34don't meet your heroes. They will more than likely
- 3:38disappoint you, but you can meet me because if he meet me and
- 3:44real I'm awesome. I'm better and real and I'm on
- 3:46here. That's what everybody says.
- 3:50OK, Prime Video was a blast from the past.
- 3:57I thought I was watching speed TV.
- 4:00Now we get it free here, we get it free.
- 4:04It's just that simple. Because my wife, she's a Prime
- 4:09member, you know, we get all those Amazon packages and but
- 4:15she's Prime. I mean, we get stuff delivered
- 4:18to us on Sunday. She orders everything through
- 4:22that Amazon Prime for her wreaths.
- 4:27And I'll tell you what, one day my grinder went out.
- 4:30My damn grinder went out, 'cause, you know, I grind my
- 4:33tires and my dirt tires. I was telling Kim, I said, man,
- 4:36my, my grinder burnt up. She goes, oh, I can get you one.
- 4:39I said on Amazon. Hell, they got racing parts like
- 4:42real ones, like you're in a speed shop.
- 4:46Amazon has every damn thing. The next day she did a better
- 4:50job getting my own, my tire grinder than I could.
- 4:54The next day, my DeWalt grinder showed up.
- 4:58I said, well, I'll be damned. So that Amazon Prime, there's
- 5:03advantages. So if, if, if you're smart
- 5:06enough to work her computer. My wife's my age.
- 5:10My my wife is 61 year. She what?
- 5:13She's 62 now? No, she's 61.
- 5:16I had to think for a minute. I'm 61.
- 5:19Kim and myself are 61 and we have our issues and, and we call
- 5:23our, we call our, our daughters and our son in laws.
- 5:27We get help. We're all too like you.
- 5:31But when we need help, we call our three daughters and our
- 5:34three son in So we got Amazon Prime right on this TV and it's
- 5:41free because, you know, we already have Amazon Prime
- 5:48delivery and we buy off Amazon Prime.
- 5:52So anyway, the race last night reminded me.
- 5:56I thought it was on speed for a minute.
- 5:58I was getting a flashback. I'm like, Oh my God.
- 6:01So, you know, I flew back and with about 100 laps to go, I
- 6:04turned it on right here on this TV, went right to my apps.
- 6:09And there it was clear, as clear as day.
- 6:12And the race was incredible. I mean, you know, like Richard
- 6:16Petty just said Dale Lineman and Richard Petty have a show and
- 6:21and they said Richard was Kansas a good race.
- 6:25Talk about Kansas couple weeks ago.
- 6:27He goes, Oh yeah, as long as there's a chance, a fight for
- 6:30the win. And you know, even though Kyle
- 6:36Larson won Kansas, there was a chance, you know, somebody could
- 6:40catch him there. Well, last night it it was good.
- 6:45I'm not, I don't got to convince you people that don't like
- 6:47NASCAR, but that was a hell of a race.
- 6:50They had a lot of wrecking. And in the end that Ross
- 6:54Chastain is the first person since 1969 to start dead last,
- 7:01like on purpose. Like, OK, look, he wrecked.
- 7:04He didn't qualify. He did not qualify.
- 7:08He wrecked his his car had a left footer flap.
- 7:11So therefore he had to start last.
- 7:14So that's not a choice if he had a qualified, you know, something
- 7:18like that. But he's Ross Chastain, the
- 7:22first person since 1969, Bobby Allison to start last and win
- 7:29slide job. He got a good run on William
- 7:33Byron, went low, slid up in front of him, and then he left
- 7:38him. Ross Chastain, Watermelon man,
- 7:43hail melon slide job. But I'll tell you what, I got to
- 7:48give a lot of credit to that. Willie B.
- 7:50Now I know why Rick Hendrick. I was about right to say Roy
- 7:55Hendrick because they just put Roy Hendrick into the Hall of
- 7:59Fame. So I can see why.
- 8:02Ray Roy, Rick simmer down her simmer down.
- 8:08Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding. So I can see why Mr. H just
- 8:14signed Willie B to a four year extension.
- 8:18He's young. Hey, by the way, Steve Letartz
- 8:21said something on NASCAR Victory Lane last night.
- 8:25He said, I keep thinking about Kosan Ho Carson Hosevar being 40
- 8:29years old, 33 years old, 30 years old, Carson Hosevar, 2222.
- 8:38That kids going to be a good one.
- 8:40He's going to be a good one. Yeah.
- 8:44So Prime hit it out of the park. And I'm kind of sad that there's
- 8:49only 5 races now. There's only four.
- 8:52So some of you, you better get your bitching in quick because
- 8:57it's only got four more races. Oh, here's my favorite one.
- 9:02Here's my favorite 1. I don't like NASCAR.
- 9:08How come I can't get it on my TV?
- 9:12You dummies, You just gave it up.
- 9:15I saw that about three times yesterday.
- 9:18I don't like NASCAR. I can't even get it on my TV.
- 9:23You just gave it up. You admitted that you were
- 9:25looking for it on your TV. By the way, when I say dummy, I
- 9:31don't really mean you're dumb. That's just from remember.
- 9:34Oh, oh, Red. The guy on on TV, he'd say.
- 9:38He'd call his son. He'd say, you big dummy, oh,
- 9:42that was a good show. Hell of a race, hell of a
- 9:45broadcast. And I wish they ran all the
- 9:49races on prime. Very little commercials.
- 9:53I mean, hardly any commercials actually.
- 9:56I'm good at TV. And you know, NASCAR Victory
- 9:59Lane, that Danielle Trotter, she is good.
- 10:04They let her go years ago for just a little bit of a dispute
- 10:07over something stupid they messed up and get rid of her.
- 10:11You saw last night why they why they hired Danielle Trotta back.
- 10:17She carried, she carried that show because there was no
- 10:20commercial breaks. They had to be on their toes the
- 10:24whole damn show. And there was a moment towards
- 10:27the end, they all went silent. And I said, uh oh.
- 10:30And she jumped right in with some good information.
- 10:33She didn't stutter. She didn't make it up.
- 10:36Danielle Trotta, she's very good and the reason she's so smart is
- 10:40because she's on she's on SiriusXM NASCAR with Larry Mack
- 10:46every day. So that was a good hire by Prime
- 10:49because Daniel tried to talks about NASCAR every day.
- 10:53Hell, she knows more than they do because she's got to take the
- 10:56fans on too. And and Daniel tried to hanging
- 10:59out with Larry Mack, you know, Larry Mack's bring his notes,
- 11:04brings his notes. So shout out to prime for hiring
- 11:10Danielle Trotter. And that was heartfelt.
- 11:13I thought Carl Edwards did a good job.
- 11:15Corey Lajoie good one. He I like Corey because he's a
- 11:19little animated like me. At the end of the show, he
- 11:22started cheering, you know, just going, hey, good show.
- 11:24And everybody kind of looked at him and I liked it that they
- 11:28emptied the booth out after the race.
- 11:30They brought Dale Junior Steve Letart down to NASCAR Victory
- 11:35Lane, they brought William Byron on the set, they brought Justin
- 11:39Marks and Ross Chastain on the set.
- 11:43So it was really good and and the channels they don't do they
- 11:48don't do they don't stay long. They they leave right away and
- 11:52that's that's why I like prime. So we get it free because Kim
- 11:57orders everything and I wished every damn race was on prime
- 12:00respond right here now the ones that I I had some lady.
- 12:07I'm going to leave you with this at the very end there was I'm
- 12:12looking at Louie Louie. Hey, what are you doing buddy?
- 12:17What are you doing look at them ears.
- 12:19Sometimes he don't sit up here he's my buddy once again I'll
- 12:24leave you like this. There was a lady on X late last
- 12:28night. She says, Kenny, when you do
- 12:30coffee with Kenny tomorrow, would you please talk to these
- 12:33old people that are stubborn and they just complain instead of
- 12:36fixing it? Less complaining people less.
- 12:40Less is good. Less is good in this case.
- 12:47Sometimes more is good. More Sugar's, you know, good.
- 12:50In this case, less complaining is good.
- 12:53You're exhausting and I think you lost this battle.
- 12:58You, you had to pay. You had to pay.
- 13:00Remember back in the day, they had all these different
- 13:03programs. If if you buy this, you get this
- 13:05channel, you had to pay to get speed too.
- 13:07You had to pay a little more. I know that 'cause I worked for
- 13:11them. So to get speed, you had to
- 13:14have, you'd have this, this program.
- 13:16Remember, they're different tiers, Tier 1, Tier 2 tier, the
- 13:20big tier got you some movies. I'm not trying to convince you
- 13:23to like Prime. I'm just saying it was good and
- 13:25I told you all the reasons why the race was good, the
- 13:29production was good. There was hardly any
- 13:32commercials. They had pre and post and that
- 13:35pre race. I'm telling you what, I'm proud
- 13:37of that pre race because that was NASCAR race day.
- 13:42Fueled by Sunoco. Yes, it was.
- 13:45They copied Rs. They was down there on Pritt
- 13:47Road. Everybody was going crazy behind
- 13:50them. All right, everybody, take it
- 13:54easy today. Be with your loved ones.
- 13:56Say a little prayer for the families that have lost somebody
- 14:00in war. God Bless America.
- 14:02I love you all.
