- Sue: I recognize that most people from the outside looking in at me see my self-confidence. They also see my lighthearted sense of humor approach. Generally, it's the combination of the sense of humor and the self-confidence that gives people a level of feeling they can trust in me without ever having confirmed that internally for themselves with a conversation with me, let's say. Get more body language and clues about their trust. inside of me. I also at times have experienced some self-doubt because when people reflect that level of trust and confidence in me to lead them or to be a part of their team, if you're in the black mindset, you're going to question why it is that you're even included amongst these very talented people. And it can make you question your self-guidance because we're all surrounded with people at various stages in our lives that are of the two camps. The one camp is you can do and succeed at everything and anything you put your mind to. And then the others who are saying, yeah, I don't know, there's a lot of people doing what you do and you know, who's to say if they'll pay attention to you for what you want to do as a musician or similar. And because they're coming from people that you have a trusted, loving relationship with, you assign some value of credibility to both because you're figuring you'll hedge your bets and keep it balanced only to realize at some point in your life that you can only be in one camp and that's your camp and that is the one of being self-guided towards your success. And that that path isn't just going to be a red carpet, lay it all out and everything that is your ultra deluxe accoutrement attached to success comes with it along the way. No, the reality is, at least it was for me, is that it takes a lot more than just self-confidence to get through to a place where you feel each and every night that you've done the service to yourself and to the universe. Confirmation with my tripping over a log as to why I didn't see the log. Well, I was chatting. Anywho, I digress. All of those factors that come into play, trusting yourself. respecting yourself, adding value to yourself with your actions, are not just given out freely as gifts. It is something that as I've had an opportunity to interact with people, understand that knowing how easily people feel comfortable to allow me to lead, if that's what's meant to happen, I carry that as a very fragile, beautiful gift. It's resilient because I know you all are resilient. but I also don't wish to overstep or be aggressive or be overconfident in my approach either. Just because I'm put in the lead doesn't mean I know what the end point of the journey is going to be. I certainly won't know how we get there because I'm someone who wings it, who improvises, who trusts my intuition. And in some ways that's why people are attracted and trusting because they feel as I do. the importance of allowing things to just reveal themselves and be the light that guides you, to not make fingerprints of me in everything and all things as the path to get there. And that sort of lack of clarity, because you're improvising, for a lot of people. creates anxiety and that generates more of the vibe of, don't know if we should be following her, you should follow me instead because I'm not that wingin' it gal. I've got the tried and true path and I know I'm right person. Well, that kind of false confidence that artifice can sway people over because we all live with insecurities on some level and some are more guided to be subsiding into those securities than others. I'm really talking about that internal vibe I have of not always entertaining a hundred percent confidence himself. You've got to have a little bit of uncertainty, but you do have to understand within how to process that so that it doesn't become the overriding energy that manifests the results. For a lot of people who've seen me as self-confident and self-guided, someone with whom you can trust to lead you. I'm quiet, so I'm not gonna be the loudest person in the room. ⁓ I can be if need be, but my vibe is much more about, we can do this all with a level of sound and calm and balance, because that's the only way we're gonna see clearly. Point is, that having everybody feed into the vibe of calm and peace is the way to all achieve success. And so when you have somebody who's bombastic and saying, ⁓ no, follow me instead. Confirmation with a woodpecker. You can easily be swayed if you aren't trusting your own intuition. And so it becomes a situation where the leader isn't so much leading a group that isn't like them. Confirmation. The leaders leading a group who have recognized the traits that we all share feel comfortable with that because it feels like them to move forward. So anytime you've got somebody that's spouting off and asserting themselves as the leader. They're not. Just saying. You can use that as your little litmus test. And that might seem obvious, but I think it requires confirmation on a regular basis by me to the universe for the sake that, ⁓ confirmations by the confirmations. It's because we're always being tested. And these are lessons that we're meant to learn. was guided to share this because the energy is present. And for those of you, who have worked on teams with me where I've taken the lead to guide everybody. You know that I don't carry a little sign on the back of me that says, me. You know what to do. Use your discernment. The no-it-all, shouty, dramatic one is not the leader. Confirmation with my stomach rumbling. And if this has led you to a place of resonance with this, let me know. As ever, thank you for sharing your energy and listening. Confirmation with the birdies.
