- 0:05Speaker 1: Today we'll be writing down how Apple is responding to
- 0:08Speaker 1: the current market. Is Tim Cook going to get fired?
- 0:11Speaker 1: And we're going to get into how Solana is all
- 0:13Speaker 1: part of this. My name is Paul Barrett. Welcome back
- 0:15Speaker 1: into the show. Let's go for it today. I do
- 0:17Speaker 1: want to thank our sponsor, and that is Coinbase, a

- 0:26Speaker 1: trade in and you can do it on Coinbase. Use

- 0:32Speaker 2: So use the link. It does help the channel.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Let's go over to a couple of things that are
- 0:36Speaker 1: happening within the Apple ecosystem. One of Tim Cook's possible
- 0:40Speaker 1: successors is now leaving a Apple that's Jeff Williams, but
- 0:44Speaker 1: they're starting to see an exodus also with their own team.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Meta of course is also in the race right now.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Two hundred million offer to Apple's AI engineers.
- 0:53Speaker 2: This is all blowing the minds of.
- 0:54Speaker 1: A lot of people, and of course you have this situation,
- 0:57Speaker 1: Apple should consider replacing Tim Cook. This is a big
- 1:01Speaker 1: deal and this is coming from one of the biggest
- 1:02Speaker 1: analysts out there. I want to go to the clip
- 1:04Speaker 1: that kind of explains their thesis.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 1:07Speaker 3: First of all, it wasn't much of a reaction at all,
- 1:09Speaker 3: because I think investors have already been talking about this
- 1:11Speaker 3: at the institutional level. If you just listen to any
- 1:14Speaker 3: Apple's earnings call and positive comments and the easy questions
- 1:17Speaker 3: that could ask on these earnings call, they're never challenging
- 1:20Speaker 3: a management team. But when you look at the institutional investors,
- 1:23Speaker 3: this has been something that's been discussed more recently. I
- 1:26Speaker 3: wasn't expecting to talk about Tim Cook today, but when
- 1:29Speaker 3: I saw some headlines today of other analysts, you know, oh,
- 1:32Speaker 3: this is not going to be disruptive to Apple, I'm like, well,
- 1:34Speaker 3: wait a minute, they should be looking to disrupt the company.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Do you think the stock would pop a fair amount
- 1:39Speaker 1: on that, or how do you think would be received.
- 1:41Speaker 3: I mean I literally got an email from one of
- 1:43Speaker 3: our institutional investor clients who was questioning like that that
- 1:47Speaker 3: this stock may in fact go up because of this
- 1:51Speaker 3: kind of discussion within large institutional investors. I mean, they
- 1:55Speaker 3: effectively fooled investors last year at WWDC making them believe
- 2:00Speaker 3: that there was a path to AI, which when none existed.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Tim Cook talked about, Oh, we've had this great integration
- 2:06Speaker 3: with chat. Shept, No, you haven't.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Apple is underperforming significantly, both in hardware and really getting
- 2:12Speaker 1: things going. Here's another clip, because as you start to
- 2:15Speaker 1: threaten Tim Cook, this is a big deal to Wall Street,
- 2:18Speaker 1: take a look.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Say Apple should consider.
- 2:22Speaker 4: I don't like this story replacing a longtime CEO, Tim
- 2:25Speaker 4: Cook in favor of a more product focused CEO since
- 2:29Speaker 4: his lack of products has been so bad for the
- 2:32Speaker 4: company in the stock over the last five years.
- 2:36Speaker 5: My reaction was kind of the same as yours, like
- 2:38Speaker 5: we go on and on and on. How he just
- 2:40Speaker 5: kind of took the ball from Steve Jobs, carried it
- 2:42Speaker 5: and ran away with it. First trillion dollar company, first
- 2:44Speaker 5: two trillion dollar company, first three trillion dollar company yesterday. Okay,
- 2:48Speaker 5: Vidio got to four trillion first, fine, fair enough, But
- 2:51Speaker 5: I can't think of anyone else who is more capable
- 2:55Speaker 5: of handling these geopolitical things. Look how he handles China,
- 2:58Speaker 5: Look how he straddles all geo political tensions. He's he's
- 3:03Speaker 5: a great operator, real operator.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Well operations is not where it's at and of course
- 3:08Speaker 1: that's coming from a guy who actually built the dream.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Consider that to what Steve Jobs said back in twenty ten.
- 3:14Speaker 1: This is when they actually flipped Microsoft Apple is and
- 3:17Speaker 1: was on a tear at that time, but really at
- 3:19Speaker 1: the boiling point of it was really just to get
- 3:22Speaker 1: back to work and build some good product. And I
- 3:24Speaker 1: think that's the thing right now. Tim Cook is not
- 3:26Speaker 1: a product guy, and that's what they're going to need.
- 3:29Speaker 1: If you look a little bit further, this is kind
- 3:32Speaker 1: of proving that he's not a product guy because this
- 3:34Speaker 1: is just a blatant lie. There is no way that
- 3:37Speaker 1: Apple Vision Pro is back on the market by twenty
- 3:39Speaker 1: twenty seven. There's going to be so many new products
- 3:41Speaker 1: in the market that it will embarrass Apple again, much
- 3:46Speaker 1: like what they got embarrassed around Apple Vision Pro. That
- 3:49Speaker 1: along with what's going on with Samsung, who is saying, hey,
- 3:51Speaker 1: wait a minute, we make great phones, but we're not
- 3:53Speaker 1: interested in going in the AI route. They've given the
- 3:55Speaker 1: keys to Google. Here's Tim Sweeney actually dropping their case
- 3:59Speaker 1: against Sam's Sung following some discussions. Most likely my guess
- 4:03Speaker 1: is those were good discussions and Tim Sweeney starting to
- 4:06Speaker 1: realize Samsung's Hey, we're in it for the hardware, and
- 4:09Speaker 1: that's a good thing because I think as you look
- 4:10Speaker 1: at that, along with where the rest of the market
- 4:13Speaker 1: is going, the next real hardware win could be right
- 4:15Speaker 1: here in the crypto market from Solana and the Seeker phone.
- 4:19Speaker 2: And remember we've talked about this phone.
- 4:21Speaker 1: It's really the evolution of what we're going to see,
- 4:23Speaker 1: especially as we start to see DAPs and things like
- 4:26Speaker 1: that roll out. I want to go to a clip
- 4:27Speaker 1: real quick because this will get into a little bit
- 4:29Speaker 1: more of why this phone might become a little bit
- 4:32Speaker 1: more iPhone light.
- 4:33Speaker 6: Take a look the Solana secret. I'm just holding it
- 4:36Speaker 6: for a little bit. This, like you said before, is
- 4:39Speaker 6: definitely more iPhone light. Saga is about the size of
- 4:42Speaker 6: an iPhone, which is really big.
- 4:44Speaker 2: It's like that.
- 4:44Speaker 6: Five E five C six se iPhone, which is really fun.
- 4:48Speaker 6: With the secret, they have the new SKR token. We've
- 4:51Speaker 6: never seen ethereum drop their own second token, right, this
- 4:54Speaker 6: is the actual Solana verifive second soac it coming from them.
- 4:58Speaker 6: So who knows the stuff that'll break?
- 5:00Speaker 1: I would agree, who knows what it's going to bring.
- 5:01Speaker 1: So when you take a look at Defail me. You
- 5:03Speaker 1: can kind of see their app revenue. This of course
- 5:05Speaker 1: is one of the largest out there in terms of chains,
- 5:08Speaker 1: so the opportunity is real when you compare this to
- 5:11Speaker 1: traditional markets. Look at the size of this market. This
- 5:14Speaker 1: is global app Now, this isn't Google, this is Samsung
- 5:17Speaker 1: any other This is just Apple's one point three trillion
- 5:20Speaker 1: in billings in twenty twenty four. So there is all
- 5:23Speaker 1: they have to do in terms of being able to
- 5:26Speaker 1: capture some of this market going forward. A lot of
- 5:28Speaker 1: this could really start to change things. Four hundred devs,
- 5:31Speaker 1: though and founders have officially signed up to compete in
- 5:35Speaker 1: the first on Solana. This is basically going to be
- 5:38Speaker 1: a hakathon to try to build DAPs to where it
- 5:40Speaker 1: starts to go into the rollout phase. And this is
- 5:43Speaker 1: happening between July one and August first, fourth, so that
- 5:46Speaker 1: is right up to the release of the phone. Could
- 5:49Speaker 1: we get some big surprises in the DAP side of
- 5:52Speaker 1: things if you compare that to how Solana really got
- 5:56Speaker 1: on the map. Remember, the original saga was all because
- 6:00Speaker 1: of the Bonk air drop, and if this is going
- 6:02Speaker 1: to happen again, could we see something very special with
- 6:06Speaker 1: Bonk starting explain that. Remember, this is the thing that
- 6:09Speaker 1: has really made the Web three ecosystem when it comes
- 6:12Speaker 1: to mobile so unique, is because it has the capacity
- 6:15Speaker 1: to connect to these meme coins, which are great marketing
- 6:17Speaker 1: engines going into where And that's really what saved the
- 6:21Speaker 1: Salona saga was when Bank started to do that, and
- 6:24Speaker 1: it really shifted the strategy of a lot of these
- 6:26Speaker 1: Look at Salana floor. This is of course showing the
- 6:28Speaker 1: rewards to remember, this is the phone that has not
- 6:31Speaker 1: released yet, and these are all the air drops and
- 6:33Speaker 1: their values that have not even been done yet. So
- 6:36Speaker 1: I imagine we are going to see a lot more
- 6:39Speaker 1: going into this. The value of this phone just based
- 6:42Speaker 1: on air drops alone could end up paying for itself again,
- 6:45Speaker 1: just like the saga did originally. All right, So when
- 6:47Speaker 1: you compare this to other ecosystem advancements, pumped Off Fund
- 6:50Speaker 1: proved that memes were more than just jokes because everybody
- 6:53Speaker 1: was hating on this four billion in cultural engine. Now
- 6:56Speaker 1: so again all this writing on Solana and even that
- 7:00Speaker 1: in comparison to other legit companies, everybody's starting to move
- 7:04Speaker 1: in this direction of memes and the ability to do
- 7:06Speaker 1: air drops, and I think that is the bigger picture
- 7:09Speaker 1: here when it comes to mobile and all of this
- 7:11Speaker 1: ties back to Apple.
- 7:12Speaker 2: They have done none of this.
- 7:14Speaker 1: And when you think culture, you got to also think
- 7:16Speaker 1: gaming off the grid and Guns is starting to move
- 7:19Speaker 1: over to Solana and most likely we're going to see
- 7:21Speaker 1: air drops on Solana coming in from Guns, so look
- 7:24Speaker 1: out for that. One other things you got to look
- 7:26Speaker 1: out right here is Swift for AI agents. Now this
- 7:29Speaker 1: is kind of interesting because when you look at agentic
- 7:32Speaker 1: commerce protocol, what it mainly means is that you have
- 7:36Speaker 1: an agent that's going to be able to direct other agents.
- 7:39Speaker 1: That's already starting to happen within virtuals. They have this
- 7:42Speaker 1: new feature that is a butler that essentially initiates agent action.
- 7:47Speaker 1: So imagine this is where it starts to attack one
- 7:50Speaker 1: of the core elements behind Apple and that Siri that's
- 7:53Speaker 1: the voice command of the Apple ecosystem. Now, what you've
- 7:56Speaker 1: got with agents is a thousand series that are actually
- 8:01Speaker 1: working in unison. So think about this, guys. You could
- 8:04Speaker 1: tell an agent to go out and make me money
- 8:06Speaker 1: on an exchange, go out and do certain actions within social,
- 8:10Speaker 1: different actions within productivity. All of that is going to
- 8:13Speaker 1: start to talk talk with other agents that's why virtuals
- 8:17Speaker 1: could be something very special. We continue to watch this
- 8:19Speaker 1: one as it continues to fly. Other things that are
- 8:23Speaker 1: happening out there right now is token I stocks, and
- 8:26Speaker 1: this one is going to continue to get interesting.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Right here is Amber Group.
- 8:30Speaker 1: This is the first Asia based public company that is
- 8:32Speaker 1: now tokenizing their own stock. And of course you can
- 8:35Speaker 1: kind of see this on Apple, Tesla, Nvidia all available
- 8:38Speaker 1: on stock x. This is our x stox, which is
- 8:41Speaker 1: going to start to really push more and more into
- 8:44Speaker 1: the Salona ecosystem. So watch for Solana as we start
- 8:48Speaker 1: to get forward here a little bit, let me go
- 8:50Speaker 1: over to the chart real quick, just give you guys
- 8:52Speaker 1: a quick look at Solana right now starting to come up.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Of course, this is during bitcoins all time high over
- 8:57Speaker 1: one hundred and thirteen k and Ethereum starting to push
- 9:01Speaker 1: to three thousand. So one other token we'll take a
- 9:03Speaker 1: look at, obviously tied to virtuals is Game. This has
- 9:07Speaker 1: really started to see a significant improvement, and if you
- 9:10Speaker 1: look at that in comparison to what's going on within
- 9:13Speaker 1: the ecosystem of Apple by itself. Right now, Apple still
- 9:17Speaker 1: in sideways action and in a bit of a panic,
- 9:20Speaker 1: I think, right now because we are going to see
- 9:22Speaker 1: maybe an evolution here around technology, especially around mobile devices,
- 9:26Speaker 1: So stay tuned.
- 9:28Speaker 2: For all that.
- 9:28Speaker 1: If you guys are not in the Diamond Circle, make
- 9:30Speaker 1: sure and get in on that. It's a great place
- 9:31Speaker 1: to get additional content. Follow me on X at Paul Baron.
