London Marathon 2026 | Elite Women (International)
We’re back to take a deep look at an electric field that has been assembled for the elite women’s race, featuring the women’s only world record holder Tigist Assefa against the athlete who previously held the mark - and who beat the Ethiopian at the World Championships - Peres Jepchirchir.
Sifan Hassan’s back to impress, while Hellen Obiri goes for a fast time after excelling in Boston and New York in recent years.
Joining us to discuss the entries is the man who puts these fields together - London Marathon’s head of elite athletes Spencer Barden.
