- 0:19Speaker 2: it's so cold.
- 0:20Speaker 1: I put the seat heaters on, you know, the butt
- 0:23Speaker 1: heaters on your car seats.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:26Speaker 1: It was awesome.
- 0:27Speaker 3: I don't have those, but I sat there and I
- 0:29Speaker 3: kept my car warm on the way in.
- 0:31Speaker 1: I'm so glad it feels like fall finally, because we
- 0:33Speaker 1: have had the hottest weather ever. I mean, it's still
- 0:35Speaker 1: going to go up to the 80s today, so we
- 0:37Speaker 1: only get fall in the morning, summer by.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Hey, it's still not awful, though. It's not 90.
- 0:42Speaker 4: I know.
- 0:43Speaker 2: That's pretty good.
- 0:44Speaker 1: I love it. Anyway, good morning. How was your weekend?
- 0:47Speaker 1: Call the show. We'd love to hear what you did.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Ready for all the fall time events. I want to
- 0:51Speaker 1: go to pumpkin patches, haunted houses, drink apple cider.
- 0:56Speaker 2: You're naming some of the stuff I like. Yeah, I know.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Do we do a basic girl week for you this week?
- 1:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Basic Blake. Let's bring basic Blake back.

- 1:45Speaker 1: a neighborhood. What?
- 1:48Speaker 2: Sunday strolls is what they always call them.
- 1:51Speaker 1: No, that is not a Sunday stroll. A 44-year-old man
- 1:54Speaker 1: was riding a scooter naked through an Oklahoma neighborhood. Here
- 1:57Speaker 1: is the body cam on the police officer when he
- 2:00Speaker 1: was arresting the man.
- 2:01Speaker 2: What the hell are you doing, bro?
- 2:04Speaker 5: Why are you naked?
- 2:06Speaker 4: That's what I was wondering about.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Huh?
- 2:09Speaker 1: So you're riding around naked?
- 2:11Speaker 2: No, actually, I'm drunk.
- 2:15Speaker 1: He said, I'm drunk. What the hell? Super Easy Trivia

- 2:40Speaker 1: South this weekend. Producer Blake. Question number one.
- 2:43Speaker 2: All right, Alabama, hit me with them.
- 2:44Speaker 1: What is the name of the cowboy in Toy Story? Woody.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Good job. I think they're retiring him from the rest
- 2:52Speaker 1: of the Toy Story movies.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Are they doing more?
- 2:54Speaker 1: Okay. What do caterpillars turn into?
- 2:58Speaker 2: Butterflies.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Butterflies is it. Last one for the win.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 3:02Speaker 1: This one is very difficult.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Okay, yeah.
- 3:04Speaker 1: And I want you to really think long and hard
- 3:07Speaker 1: about it.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Okay, I'll think for as long as I need.
- 3:09Speaker 1: And I want you to make sure you get this
- 3:12Speaker 1: absolutely right, because a pair of tickets to Rock the
- 3:15Speaker 1: South are up for grabs for the weekend.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Okay, I'm prepared.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Last one for the win. What is the color of
- 3:23Speaker 1: a school bus?
- 3:24Speaker 2: Ooh. Now you're giving me the tough ones here.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Answer the question.
- 3:28Speaker 4: Yellow.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Yellow's it. Congratulations, you won. Thank you.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I needed this.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Call the show if you want to win these tickets.
- 3:45Speaker 1: 833-501-BAMA is the number.
- 3:46Speaker 4: That's 833-501-2262.
- 3:51Speaker 1: It's three things you need to know with The Alabama Show.
- 3:54Speaker 1: It was a good weekend for football this weekend. Alabama
- 3:57Speaker 1: beat South Carolina 49-18, roll tide, and then Auburn beat
- 4:02Speaker 1: Vanderbilt 21-15. Dolly's 9-5 film has returned to theaters to
- 4:09Speaker 1: honor Dolly's legacy. You can see the movie in theaters
- 4:12Speaker 1: starting October 9th through the 15th. It's going to screen nationwide,
- 4:15Speaker 1: and the proceeds are going to go to Dolly's Imagination Library,
- 4:18Speaker 1: which is a book-gifting charity that she started. The re-release
- 4:21Speaker 1: was announced on Dolly Day, which was last Friday, 925.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Get it?
- 4:24Speaker 1: 925. So there we go. Ella Langley is going viral
- 4:30Speaker 1: for rejecting a fan. Did you see this TikTok video?
- 4:32Speaker 2: Yeah, and why wouldn't you?
- 4:34Speaker 1: So the guy goes, the video on TikTok that's gone viral,
- 4:38Speaker 1: a guy goes, Ella, how many likes to take you
- 4:41Speaker 1: on a date? And he's yelling at her in a
- 4:43Speaker 1: parking lot. And she goes, there's not enough in the world.
- 4:46Speaker 1: And then he looks at the camera and he laughs.
- 4:48Speaker 1: And he said, you miss 100% of the shots you
- 4:50Speaker 1: don't take. This video. Went so viral. Fans were saying
- 4:56Speaker 1: Ella is, they were mad at Ella for how she
- 4:59Speaker 1: rejected him. So she went and commented and she goes,
- 5:02Speaker 1: obviously this didn't land right. It was meant as dark humor,
- 5:06Speaker 1: but it would take more than TikTok likes. for me
- 5:10Speaker 1: to go on a date because I'm still human. So
- 5:12Speaker 1: now I posted another video with a shopping cart, like
- 5:15Speaker 1: an extra large shopping cart full of flowers. And he goes,
- 5:18Speaker 1: hopefully this will work. And then he was like, just
- 5:21Speaker 1: come to your concert and give you a hug. I'm
- 5:23Speaker 1: an Ella fella forever. I love you. We're waiting to
- 5:25Speaker 1: see if she comments.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Oh, I need a response. I need to see how
- 5:28Speaker 3: this turns out.
- 5:29Speaker 2: I know.
- 5:29Speaker 1: I hope, I hope that he gets a picture with
- 5:31Speaker 1: her at one of her shows. That would be great.
- 5:33Speaker 2: That would be awesome.
- 5:34Speaker 1: That's three things you need to know. More at thealabamashow.com.
- 5:40Speaker 1: You're listening to The Alabama Show On Demand. Good morning, Paige.
- 5:44Speaker 1: What's your issue for Ask Alabama?
- 5:47Speaker 4: My boyfriend has too many female friends.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 5:51Speaker 1: That's why we do Ask Alabama. If you ever have
- 5:53Speaker 1: an issue, call the show. 833-501-BAMA is the number. That's 833-501-2262.
- 6:01Speaker 2: What is going on?
- 6:02Speaker 1: Why does your boyfriend have too many girlfriends?
- 6:04Speaker 4: I've been seeing a guy for a few months.
- 6:07Speaker 5: And he has a.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Lot of female friends.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Okay.
- 6:12Speaker 4: My last boyfriend cheated on me. So my new guy
- 6:16Speaker 4: knows that I have trust issues. And he says that
- 6:19Speaker 4: all of his female friends are strictly platonic. But he
- 6:23Speaker 4: has a female.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Friend that he sometimes goes.
- 6:28Speaker 4: They like sleep in the same tent and another friend
- 6:31Speaker 4: that they go on weekend trips with together at your
- 6:34Speaker 4: hotel room.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Well, what does he say when you talk to him
- 6:38Speaker 1: about it and tell him that that bothers you?
- 6:40Speaker 4: He says I'm overreacting about sleepovers with other girls, but
- 6:44Speaker 4: I personally just think that's too much.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I'm not comfortable with that. Yeah, I think the weekend
- 6:50Speaker 1: sleepovers is a little much. Once you've got a girlfriend,
- 6:54Speaker 1: that's weird to me. Call the show, 833-501-BAMA. Do you
- 6:58Speaker 1: think it's weird that Paige's boyfriend has female friends that
- 7:02Speaker 1: he still does trips with where they are spending the
- 7:05Speaker 1: night together?
- 7:06Speaker 5: 833-501-BAMA. That's 833-501-2262.
- 7:07Speaker 1: You're listening to The Alabama Show On Demand. If you
- 7:14Speaker 1: were dating somebody and they had, like, say you had
- 7:17Speaker 1: a girlfriend, producer Blake.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Okay, let's say.
- 7:20Speaker 1: And she had a friend that was a guy.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Yes.
- 7:22Speaker 1: And they went out of town for a weekend. Would
- 7:25Speaker 1: you be okay if they stayed in the same hotel
- 7:27Speaker 1: room together?
- 7:28Speaker 2: Yeah, of course, because she'd be an ex at that point.
- 7:30Speaker 2: I'd be done. I'd break up.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Why would I do that?
- 7:32Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 7:33Speaker 3: I know.
- 7:34Speaker 1: That's the issue. Paige just called. Her boyfriend has female friends,
- 7:38Speaker 1: and he'll go on camping trips, and they'll stay in
- 7:40Speaker 1: the same tent. They'll go on weekend trips and stay
- 7:43Speaker 1: in the same hotel. And he's like, you're overreacting. They're
- 7:46Speaker 1: just my friends. I think something else is going on.
- 7:49Speaker 2: That's nefarious. I do not like that at all.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Call the show. 833-501-BAMA is the number. Would you be
- 7:55Speaker 1: okay with this? That's 833-501-2262.
- 7:59Speaker 2: It's three things you need to know with the Alabama Show.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Children's of Alabama is now partnered with Dolly Parton in
- 8:07Speaker 1: honor of Dolly on Give Like Dolly Day. Children's is
- 8:11Speaker 1: now the enrollment partner for Dolly's Imagination Library of Alabama.
- 8:14Speaker 1: So what the new program is going to do, they'll
- 8:17Speaker 1: provide a copy of the Imagination Library's welcome book, The
- 8:20Speaker 1: Little Engine That Could, to kids under five that are
- 8:23Speaker 1: being discharged from any of the hospital's 24 inpatient units.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Crocs is suing Five Below over their $ 7 copycat clogs.
- 8:33Speaker 1: And I didn't know that Five Below sold these, and
- 8:35Speaker 1: now I want to go get them at Five Below.
- 8:37Speaker 1: They say it mimics the signature hole arrangement and textured
- 8:40Speaker 1: heel strap. And then Gibbets alleges that their decorative charms
- 8:44Speaker 1: infringe on their patent. So they're being sued by Crocs
- 8:47Speaker 1: and Gibbets. They sent a demand letter last March and
- 8:50Speaker 1: Five Below kept selling the clogs. So now Crocs is
- 8:53Speaker 1: seeking damages, lost profits, attorney's fees, a permanent sales ban
- 8:57Speaker 1: and all the things they upset. They must be close
- 9:00Speaker 1: enough to the actual Crocs for them to do the lawsuit.
- 9:03Speaker 1: So if you want cheaper Crocs, go to Five Below
- 9:05Speaker 1: before they can't sell them anymore. Madonna opened the VMAs
- 9:09Speaker 1: with her first performance since the early 2000s. She did
- 9:12Speaker 1: really good. She got up with your girl, Sabrina Carpenter.
- 9:15Speaker 2: I like that. I love that.
- 9:17Speaker 1: She started with her song, Bring Your Love. Then she
- 9:19Speaker 1: did Dance Terria with Charli XCX. And there are a
- 9:22Speaker 1: few cameo appearances, but the one that everybody's talking about
- 9:25Speaker 1: was Seth Rogen. He was on stage wearing all leather clothes.
- 9:30Speaker 2: That's my boy Rogan baby.
- 9:31Speaker 1: It's so weird She also accepted the award for best
- 9:35Speaker 1: dance At the end of the night But Madonna's performance
- 9:38Speaker 1: A lot of people were talking about how good it
- 9:39Speaker 1: was That's three things you need to know More at

- 9:49Speaker 1: is the number to call the show. Dallas, good morning.
- 9:52Speaker 1: What are you doing right now?
- 9:54Speaker 5: I'm about two miles away from the house getting off
- 9:56Speaker 5: of work.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Where do you work overnight?
- 9:58Speaker 5: Blue Origin in Huntsville.
- 9:59Speaker 1: What is that?
- 10:00Speaker 5: Building rocket ships.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Do you have an in? Like, could you send me
- 10:04Speaker 1: and producer Blake to space?
- 10:06Speaker 5: As far as I know, I think they quit doing that.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Okay. Dallas, do you have any good news you want
- 10:11Speaker 1: to share?
- 10:12Speaker 5: Oh, well, two months ago I landed this dream job
- 10:14Speaker 5: I've been after for a decade.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Woo!
- 10:17Speaker 1: And it's the building rocket ships. Correct. What did you
- 10:21Speaker 1: do to get to build rocket ships? Do you have
- 10:23Speaker 1: to go to school for that?
- 10:24Speaker 5: Most people do.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Okay, so what did you do?
- 10:27Speaker 5: I spent the last 10 years bouncing around, learning on
- 10:30Speaker 5: the job.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Okay.
- 10:31Speaker 2: That's kind of cool.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Yeah, congratulations. So you were interning, kind of?
- 10:35Speaker 5: Yeah, you could say that.
- 10:36Speaker 1: What rules did you break to get in? Did you
- 10:39Speaker 1: lie when you filled out your application? Did they think
- 10:41Speaker 1: you went to school?
- 10:43Speaker 5: Oh, no, I told them straight up school was not
- 10:44Speaker 5: for me.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Well, congratulations. Dallas building rocket ships. That's awesome.
- 10:51Speaker 5: Well, thank y'all.
- 10:52Speaker 2: You're listening to The Alabama Show.
- 10:54Speaker 1: The following program is on demand. Usually I make fun
- 10:58Speaker 1: of producer Blake for being the annoying one, but today
- 11:02Speaker 1: other people were.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Getting on your nerves? Yes, so bad. It was so annoying.
- 11:07Speaker 1: By the way, thanks for listening to The Alabama Show.
- 11:09Speaker 1: I'm Alabama with producer Blake. What happened?
- 11:12Speaker 3: So my neighbor was having a party for his, I guess,
- 11:16Speaker 3: seven-year-old daughter would be my guest.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Birthday party?
- 11:19Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a birthday party and it was right
- 11:21Speaker 2: across the street from my house. There's balloons everywhere outside.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Oh, that's cool. Did you go over and jump in
- 11:27Speaker 1: the bounce house?
- 11:28Speaker 3: No, because our street was filled with cars. I couldn't
- 11:31Speaker 3: even get over there if I wanted to. It was
- 11:32Speaker 3: like packed down this street.
- 11:35Speaker 1: How many cars do you think there were?
- 11:37Speaker 2: At least 25. You should have gone and joined the party.
- 11:40Speaker 2: It's a 70 year old's birthday party. I'm not going
- 11:43Speaker 2: to go join. Okay. That is crazy to me.
- 11:46Speaker 3: So I get home and I'm like, okay, I need to,
- 11:50Speaker 3: I'm going to park and just let people do their thing.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Whatever. It's probably five in the afternoon.
- 11:53Speaker 3: I pull in, there's people parked in my grass and
- 11:57Speaker 3: they had just pulled in.
- 11:58Speaker 2: I said, I look out and I go, What?
- 12:02Speaker 3: Did you say, get off my property? I said, hey,
- 12:05Speaker 3: do y'all mind, like, just moving to another area? I
- 12:08Speaker 3: just need to park in my yard.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Like, how far in the grass were they?
- 12:12Speaker 3: They didn't even park sideways where they get out easy.
- 12:14Speaker 3: They parked in, like, towards my house, like, in the grass.
- 12:18Speaker 3: I said, hey, can y'all just, like, park on the
- 12:21Speaker 3: street and away from right there?
- 12:23Speaker 2: Because I need to park. And the lady goes, oh.
- 12:28Speaker 2: I go, I'm sorry to be an inconvenience at my
- 12:30Speaker 2: own house.
- 12:30Speaker 3: The lady goes, whatever. And she gets in her car
- 12:34Speaker 3: and moves it, but barely. Like, just enough for me
- 12:37Speaker 3: to get in.
- 12:38Speaker 2: The dude that's with her goes... Sorry, my guy. And
- 12:41Speaker 2: just walks out and goes to the party. I'd have
- 12:43Speaker 2: been mad. Oh, I was fuming. And then as the
- 12:47Speaker 2: night goes on, it's probably 1130. It's getting to midnight.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Hang on. 1130 at night? Yes, 1130. For a seven-year-old's
- 12:53Speaker 1: birthday party.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Music's still blasting. The balloons are up. The bouncy house
- 12:57Speaker 3: is still going. I hear people yelling. And I think
- 13:00Speaker 3: the adults are having a good time at this point.
- 13:02Speaker 3: And I look out my window. There's strobe lights. It
- 13:05Speaker 3: looks like a concert.
- 13:07Speaker 2: For a crazy idiot.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Why did you not go party?
- 13:10Speaker 2: Because I didn't think they were still going. I thought
- 13:12Speaker 2: by the time I get over there, they're going to
- 13:13Speaker 2: close it down.
- 13:14Speaker 5: I was wrong.
- 13:15Speaker 2: They didn't stop until like 1 in the morning. And
- 13:19Speaker 2: then I hear the music start coming down.
- 13:20Speaker 3: People are still out on the freaking driveway, my driveway,
- 13:24Speaker 3: having conversations at full blast.
- 13:26Speaker 1: And you're just peeking through the window like a weird
- 13:28Speaker 1: old lady.
- 13:29Speaker 2: I was looking out. I was like, I don't care
- 13:30Speaker 2: if people are having fun, but in my driveway?
- 13:32Speaker 1: You're the weird old lady in this.
- 13:34Speaker 2: I guess I might be.
- 13:35Speaker 1: I guess. Call the show. 833-501-BAMA is the number. Do
- 13:40Speaker 1: you have neighbors like this? And would you have gone
- 13:42Speaker 1: to the party?
- 13:42Speaker 4: 833-501-2262.
- 13:42Speaker 1: You are listening to The Alabama Show On Demand. Hey,
- 13:48Speaker 1: we're done.
- 13:49Speaker 2: What was that?
- 13:52Speaker 1: Was that your tickle me Elmo sound?
- 13:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I was weird.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Anyway, we're going home. Enjoy the rest of your day.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Make sure you're listening tomorrow, and we'll see you at
- 14:02Speaker 1: 6 a.m. tomorrow morning. Thanks for listening to The Alabama
- 14:05Speaker 1: Show On Demand.
