- 0:01We rightly recognized that memory is not the same as a
- 0:05living experience, yet the power of memory holds a key for those
- 0:10who wish to undertake Spiritual Development.
- 0:14We see this in the context of religious and spiritual
- 0:17Pursuits, that rely on the power of memory in some form to renew
- 0:22and actualize experiences. The simplest process is to
- 0:26recall and reflect on the peak spiritual experiences that one
- 0:30has had, it may help to visualize the circumstances as
- 0:35one recalls the memory. It may help to recreate the
- 0:40surroundings or the environment within which the event occurred
- 0:44although this is frequently not possible.
- 0:47But for instance, if one had a special opening in a Forest
- 0:51Grove, OR on a hill or in an isolated meditation cave,
- 0:57returning to that Locale can trigger in many cases, a renewal
- 1:01of the feeling the awareness and even the experience itself or a
- 1:07similar one, at the very least, many times, an individual will
- 1:12follow a practice routine to enter into a state of
- 1:15meditation. And this routine may include a
- 1:19specific scent of incense specific triggering sounds such
- 1:23as a teen shot or Bell being rung, a specific piece of music
- 1:28or a recitation. In other cases in individual,
- 1:32May simply remember the circumstances and call up the
- 1:36memory for instance if one had a particularly intense experience
- 1:43in a temple or a mushroom Without physically visiting the
- 1:47evocation of the memory may suffice to recreate the mood
- 1:52feeling and receptivity needed for a new spiritual experience
- 1:57to emerge note that chasing past spiritual experiences.
- 2:02And expecting them to reoccur is not often fruitful the important
- 2:08point is to create the mood of Readiness and receptivity and
- 2:13the Turning of the awareness Restored.
- 2:16The spiritual reality that occurs when one does.
- 2:19So once one is focused on the spiritual experience, the next
- 2:25step is to understand the implications of that experience.
- 2:29Find out what it is providing as guidance for one's life, actions
- 2:33and Direction and then work to bring those things to life.
- 2:39The mother notes quote. These experiences come to you
- 2:43suddenly in a Flash for a second, a moment in your life.
- 2:47You don't know why or how there are other things other
- 2:51experiences they are innumerable, they vary according
- 2:55to people. But with this with 1 minute 1,
- 3:00second of such an existence, one catches, the tail of the thing.
- 3:05So, one must remember that try to relive it.
- 3:08You go to the depths of the experience recall, it Aspire
- 3:14concentrate. This is the starting point, the
- 3:18end of The Guiding thread, the clue for all those who are
- 3:22destined to find their, inner being the truth of their being.
- 3:26There's always at least one moment in life when they were no
- 3:30longer the same, perhaps just like a lightning flash.
- 3:34But that is enough. It indicates the road one.
- 3:38Take it is the door that opens on this path and so you must
- 3:44pass through the door and with perseverance and an unfailing
- 3:48steadfastness seek to renew the state which will lead you to
- 3:53something more real and more total in quote preference SRI
