- 4:22Speaker 2: Lisa Nichols says, stop asking for a sign, Start becoming
- 4:28Speaker 2: one that's poignant. Stop asking for a sign, start becoming one. See.
- 4:35Speaker 2: I think what Lisa Nichols is trying to say to
- 4:37Speaker 2: us is to be the example on the motivation and
- 4:40Speaker 2: the moment, because you might just be that sign for someone,
- 4:46Speaker 2: So stop asking for a sign and start becoming one.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Lisa Nichols. Wow, powerful morning mindset for this Tuesday, the
- 4:53Speaker 2: thirteenth day of January. If you need it again, you'll
- 4:56Speaker 2: find it. Toby and chillipageachefm dot com. Check out our instance.
- 5:00Speaker 2: It's probably floating around over there someplace. And if you've
- 5:03Speaker 2: got something that's inspired, you share it with Chili and
- 5:05Speaker 2: I because we always love hearing from you. Waschefm dot com.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Check out the Toby and Chili page. All right, and
- 5:11Speaker 2: stay with us because coming up in just a few
- 5:13Speaker 2: minutes here at ninety seven point one WASHFM.
- 5:15Speaker 3: It is Girl Scout Cookie season. Yes, and we found
- 5:19Speaker 3: uh well, I don't know if it's a really accurate analysis,
- 5:22Speaker 3: but what your favorite Girl Scout cookies say is about
- 5:24Speaker 3: your personality.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Can't wait to dive into this. I'll embrace the gluttoness
- 5:29Speaker 2: of the Girl Scout Cookie season. Hang on more a minute.
- 5:33Speaker 2: It's the most wonderful time of the year. No, it's
- 5:36Speaker 2: not a Christmas song. It's ninety seven point one WASHFM.
- 5:39Speaker 2: It's Toby and Chilly in the morning, and I'm talking
- 5:41Speaker 2: about Girl Scout Cookie season is upon us. Oh no,
- 5:45Speaker 2: the temptation. It's the most wonderful time of the year.
- 5:50Speaker 2: You stop by, you see the girl scouts. They've got
- 5:52Speaker 2: all their cookies. You buy one of everything? Oh you do?
- 5:55Speaker 3: I don't. I only buy the one I like, which
- 5:58Speaker 3: just the one, just the one.
- 6:00Speaker 2: I go in with the intention of getting just one,
- 6:02Speaker 2: but then I end up saying, well, I think I'll
- 6:04Speaker 2: also get.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Well what you get also could say a lot about
- 6:08Speaker 3: your personality, so like, for mine, my favorite is the samoas.
- 6:11Speaker 3: And apparently people who like the samoas are fun, quirky, adventurous,
- 6:15Speaker 3: and a bit chaotic. I don't know about the chaotic part,
- 6:19Speaker 3: but all the other stuff.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Julia chaotic, No, that's my job. That's exactly right. Are
- 6:23Speaker 2: crazy on a daily basis? It does? And what's your favorite?
- 6:27Speaker 2: It used to be like, you know, the peanut butter tagalongs, right,
- 6:31Speaker 2: you know, which says that I would be very artistic,
- 6:34Speaker 2: driven and layered in personality, which is about right. However,
- 6:38Speaker 2: they came with these s'mores.
- 6:41Speaker 3: That was it? Was it last year or the year
- 6:42Speaker 3: before the s'mores came about? I can't it's fairly new.
- 6:45Speaker 2: They are fairly in the last three years. I know
- 6:47Speaker 2: for sure.
- 6:48Speaker 3: So what's the personality type for the youth?
- 6:50Speaker 2: More sweet? And I enjoy simple pleasures in the outdoors, true,
- 6:54Speaker 2: although it's been a minute since I've been outside, oh gosh,
- 6:57Speaker 2: and done some clamping. And by the way, they have
- 7:01Speaker 2: a new cookie this year too, which you might see parts.
- 7:04Speaker 3: What's it called again, explore moores? Oh yeah, I think
- 7:07Speaker 3: that's what they're called. They try to come up with
- 7:09Speaker 3: a new one every year, and I think it's kind
- 7:11Speaker 3: of funny how they try to attach some sort of
- 7:14Speaker 3: a personality type to each of these. I think if
- 7:16Speaker 3: anyone is buying girls Scout cookies, one thing you all
- 7:19Speaker 3: have in common. You're very supportive of a great cause
- 7:22Speaker 3: an organization I should say, yeah.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Powering organizations. So you start them young and they remember
- 7:28Speaker 2: when they get older, and next thing you know, they're
- 7:30Speaker 2: in Congress.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Well, we'll actually put the breakdown of the cookie personalities
- 7:36Speaker 3: on the Toby and Chili page at washfm dot com
- 7:38Speaker 3: if you want to check it out, yep.

- 9:32Speaker 3: accused of harassing a man with homophobic slurs and is
- 9:37Speaker 3: currently in jail in Prince George's County awaiting extradition to Virginia.
- 9:42Speaker 3: These He's Inspector General has launched an investigation into how
- 9:46Speaker 3: the Metropolitan Police Department collects and reports crime data. The
- 9:50Speaker 3: probe comes after allegations at former police chief Pamila Smith
- 9:54Speaker 3: ordered commanders to manipulate statistics to make the city's crime
- 9:57Speaker 3: rate appear lower, and according to a recent study, most
- 10:02Speaker 3: TV shows portray CPR incorrectly. It found that only thirty
- 10:08Speaker 3: percent of shows demonstrate proper technique, while nearly half depict
- 10:13Speaker 3: outdated practices like mouth to mouth resuscitation and checking for

- 10:49Speaker 2: Talkbacks wide open too. If you're signed into your iHeart

- 11:12Speaker 2: It's ninety seven point one watch f M, Toby and
- 11:15Speaker 2: Chilly in the morning. But check out this story that
- 11:18Speaker 2: involves a tracking device.
- 11:20Speaker 3: So I don't know if you saw this last week.
- 11:22Speaker 3: It was in the news where a wife was able
- 11:24Speaker 3: to save her husband's life because she knew he was
- 11:28Speaker 3: in a motorcycle accident. I guess he's got this crash
- 11:31Speaker 3: detection device that alerts her to his location, and she
- 11:35Speaker 3: was able to get to where he was. He'd flown
- 11:37Speaker 3: over a fence, and who knows if anybody would have
- 11:39Speaker 3: ever seen him, you know, or known about it, had
- 11:43Speaker 3: she not been alerted.
- 11:44Speaker 2: I mean, when you think about it, there's a lot
- 11:48Speaker 2: of good stuff that comes from tracking devices. At least
- 11:50Speaker 2: once a week of tracking device helps me find something
- 11:53Speaker 2: I've misplaced, mostly my wallet.
- 11:55Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's right, you've got one of those things
- 11:57Speaker 3: in your wallet.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Yep, it's like a credit card. I got a new
- 11:59Speaker 2: one I too. I already got it from Santa Claus,
- 12:01Speaker 2: but it's it's still on order, so it hasn't arrived yet.
- 12:05Speaker 2: What about you. Would you put a tracking device on Donado.
- 12:08Speaker 3: My son when he's older, Yes? Really, yeah, especially since
- 12:13Speaker 3: he doesn't really have a cell phone or anything like that,
- 12:15Speaker 3: if he was ever having to be somewhere by himself,
- 12:18Speaker 3: I totally would, just to make sure that he's safe
- 12:20Speaker 3: and where he's supposed to be.
- 12:21Speaker 2: And do you and your husband, like, do the whole
- 12:23Speaker 2: follow each other? On the maps, thing like drop a
- 12:26Speaker 2: pin as to where your location is. Yeah, so that helps.
- 12:29Speaker 3: When I am trying to make sure that I get
- 12:31Speaker 3: everything timed, you know, dinner on the table and stuff
- 12:33Speaker 3: like if you're driving home, but not so much because
- 12:35Speaker 3: now he works from home.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Yeah, tracking device is How have they helped you out?
- 12:41Speaker 2: Are you a fan? Yes? No thoughts? Phones wide open
- 12:44Speaker 2: at eight sixty six nineteen seven forty three sixty one.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Talkback is too, so you can tap speak and send
- 12:50Speaker 2: and tell us a quick story about how tracking device
- 12:53Speaker 2: has saved you or come in handy for you, or
- 12:56Speaker 2: maybe how they haven't. Either way, we're listening and we'll
- 13:00Speaker 2: talk about this again coming up with Toby and Chilly
- 13:02Speaker 2: in the morning on ninety seven point one wash FM.
- 13:05Speaker 2: We're talking about tracking devices this morning here at ninety
- 13:09Speaker 2: seven point one WASHFM. How have they come in handy
- 13:11Speaker 2: for you? And it's based on this story. A woman
- 13:15Speaker 2: I guess found her husband who had a terrible accident.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Yeah, he'd have been in a motorcycle accident, and the
- 13:22Speaker 3: crash detection device alerted her to his location, so she
- 13:26Speaker 3: was able to get to him before anything worse happened.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Now have tracking devices ever come through in a pinch
- 13:33Speaker 2: for you kind of like that or maybe not that
- 13:35Speaker 2: extreme eight sixty six nine two seven forty three sixty one,
- 13:38Speaker 2: or maybe you're not a fan of these tracking devices.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Either way, it's got to make for a good story,
- 13:42Speaker 2: one that we need to hear with Toby and Chilly
- 13:44Speaker 2: in the morning on ninety seven point one Wash FM,
- 13:46Speaker 2: and we'll start with you, Randy, Good morning in Owings Mills.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Thanks for listening to us so which got always knowing
- 13:53Speaker 2: where my kids are is a huge load off my mind.
- 13:56Speaker 2: They each have an air tag on him at all times.
- 13:58Speaker 2: You know you can't be too careful these days.
- 14:01Speaker 3: You make a really good point, Randy. And as I
- 14:03Speaker 3: said earlier, once my son gets a little bit older
- 14:05Speaker 3: and doing more independent things, you better believe we're gonna
- 14:08Speaker 3: be tracking his moves.
- 14:10Speaker 2: That's your key chain, do not Oh that's right. You
- 14:14Speaker 2: keep that on you at all times, don't lose it.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Thanks for jumping in this morning. Eight six six nine
- 14:18Speaker 2: two seven forty three sixty one. Katrina, Good morning in Arlington.
- 14:22Speaker 6: I put an aircag on my dog's collar as a
- 14:25Speaker 6: just in case, and then two weeks later he slipped
- 14:28Speaker 6: out during a thunderstorm, and instead of panicking, I just
- 14:31Speaker 6: watched him on my phone sitting at my neighbor's backyard
- 14:34Speaker 6: like he paid rent there.
- 14:35Speaker 3: Well, that must have been a relief at least it
- 14:37Speaker 3: was in a neighbor's house.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Thank you for jumping in this morning, Katrina. Hey, Chili,
- 14:41Speaker 2: does Bella have like a tracker tag?
- 14:45Speaker 3: No, she does have a chip in her ear. Oh right,
- 14:47Speaker 3: And if she was a type of dog that love
- 14:49Speaker 3: to escape every time the door is open, I would
- 14:52Speaker 3: totally get a tracker.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Would sober Maxwell was alive? Yeah, he wasn't that dog
- 14:56Speaker 2: that wanted to do escape. But Nova Luna is hell
- 15:01Speaker 2: And so she's got the tracker chip. And you know what,
- 15:04Speaker 2: now I'm thinking I need to go to the Apple store.
- 15:07Speaker 2: You get a GPS device? Yea, absolutely, because she will
- 15:11Speaker 2: let me gone in an instant. She's she's that dog anyway.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Toby at Chilly in the morning, talking about shocking devices.
- 15:19Speaker 2: If you've got one, has it come through for you?
- 15:22Speaker 2: Has it been handy? If not, we'd love to hear
- 15:24Speaker 2: that too. Tap the talk back microphone. You can always
- 15:26Speaker 2: get involved by leaving us a quick voice. Now it
- 15:28Speaker 2: comes right to Chili and I in the studio here

- 17:02Speaker 3: and also have fueled ongoing protests. Fairfax County Schools have
- 17:06Speaker 3: concluded an independent investigation into claims that a social worker
- 17:10Speaker 3: arranged a student's abortion, finding the allegations false and partly fabricated.
- 17:16Speaker 3: The investigation began after a Centreville High School teacher made
- 17:20Speaker 3: the accusation. A former congressional staffer has been arrested for
- 17:24Speaker 3: allegedly stealing and selling hundreds of government cell phones. Investigators
- 17:30Speaker 3: say forty three year old Christopher Sutherland had two hundred
- 17:33Speaker 3: forty phones shipped to his home and sold more than
- 17:37Speaker 3: two hundred of them, with the scheme uncovered after one
- 17:41Speaker 3: of them was resold online. A new bill in Virginia
- 17:46Speaker 3: could legalize online casino gambling, which would allow people to

- 21:17Speaker 3: one I go to the most I go get petticures,
- 21:20Speaker 3: I don't know, every month and a half or so,
- 21:22Speaker 3: and I stop getting manicures about two years ago. I
- 21:26Speaker 3: just do it myself. Sure, I'm over the whole trying
- 21:29Speaker 3: to make me feel guilty for not going back to

- 21:36Speaker 3: I'm not going to start doing that again. Stop asking me.
- 21:39Speaker 6: Now.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Do they guilt you? Have they said something to you

- 21:50Speaker 3: So they've actually spoken and saying, hey, why don't you
- 21:53Speaker 3: start getting manicures again? And then also there are the
- 21:56Speaker 3: kind of like this passive aggressive like ooh, I know,
- 22:00Speaker 3: we can make your nails look nice too, even though
- 22:02Speaker 3: I do the press on thing. They're trying to, you know,
- 22:05Speaker 3: make me feel bad that I'm buying the nails online
- 22:09Speaker 3: and gluing them on. And I'm like, listen, until you
- 22:12Speaker 3: guys stop charging so much. This is the way it's
- 22:15Speaker 3: going to go.

- 22:18Speaker 2: Have you ever broken with a broken up?
- 22:20Speaker 3: Yeah?

- 22:24Speaker 2: the bottom line is, Look, they're not bad therapists. They're
- 22:29Speaker 2: great and they've been very helpful. But the problem is
- 22:32Speaker 2: the bottom line, and the bottom line is is that
- 22:35Speaker 2: they are not covered by our insurance. And money does
- 22:38Speaker 2: not grow on trees. Yes, and you know, their costs
- 22:42Speaker 2: keep going up and what I can put in for
- 22:45Speaker 2: for going to add a network doesn't.
- 22:47Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true, and so that's a good reason.
- 22:49Speaker 2: It was. It was getting to be out of hand
- 22:51Speaker 2: and got to do what you gotta do. What about you?
- 22:54Speaker 2: You've had a professional breakup? Hod you dump? And why?
