Lucas: You're right. Today we're focusing on the head. Let's start with the simplest one: la tête. Luna: La tête. That means 'the head'. Okay, la tête. Lucas: Exactly. Repeat after me: la tête. Luna: La tête. Lucas: Good. Now, on top of the head, we have les cheveux. That's 'the hair'. Luna: Les cheveux. So it's plural. Les cheveux. Lucas: Yes. Les cheveux. Can you say it? Luna: Les cheveux. Lucas: Perfect. Now, let's talk about the eyes. In French, 'the eyes' is les yeux. Luna: Les yeux. That's a bit different. Les yeux. Lucas: Right. And 'the nose' is le nez. Luna: Le nez. Le nez. Lucas: And finally, 'the mouth' is la bouche. Luna: La bouche. La bouche. Lucas: Great. Let's review all five. I'll say each, you repeat. La tête. Luna: La tête. Lucas: Les cheveux. Luna: Les cheveux. Lucas: Les yeux. Luna: Les yeux. Lucas: Le nez. Luna: Le nez. Lucas: La bouche. Luna: La bouche. Lucas: Excellent. Now let's put them in a little scene. Imagine you're describing a person. 'He has brown hair': Il a les cheveux bruns. Luna: Il a les cheveux bruns. So 'bruns' is brown. Il a les cheveux bruns. Lucas: Yes. And 'he has blue eyes': Il a les yeux bleus. Luna: Il a les yeux bleus. Blue eyes. Il a les yeux bleus. Lucas: And 'he has a big nose': Il a un grand nez. Luna: Il a un grand nez. Grand means big. Il a un grand nez. Lucas: And 'she has a small mouth': Elle a une petite bouche. Luna: Elle a une petite bouche. Petite is feminine for small. Elle a une petite bouche. Lucas: Nice.
