- 0:00Speaker 1: And a day at the beach.
- 0:02Speaker 2: The Memorial Day weekend, you're on the Sean Hannity Show.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Well, we're coming to your city. Gonna play our guitars
- 0:14Speaker 3: and sing you a country sound. We'll all be flying
- 0:17Speaker 3: higher than a jetliner.
- 0:22Speaker 4: And if you want a little bang.
- 0:23Speaker 1: In your yin-yang, come along. Forty seven years they've been
- 0:27Speaker 1: negotiating with these people. They're great negotiators. And because they're
- 0:31Speaker 1: not going to have a nuclear weapon.
- 0:33Speaker 5: And so if Trump doesn't see that we're losing every day,
- 0:36Speaker 5: he continues this thing.
- 0:38Speaker 6: He's going to just face more and more political problems,
- 0:40Speaker 6: military problems and all sorts of problems.
- 0:43Speaker 7: And it says that even if Democrats don't like Donald Trump,
- 0:45Speaker 7: they don't like their own party either when it comes
- 0:48Speaker 7: to Congress.
- 0:49Speaker 1: And overall, I mean, my goodness gracious.
- 0:51Speaker 8: Freedom is back in style. Welcome to the revolution.
- 0:57Speaker 9: Yeah, we're coming.
- 0:59Speaker 10: To your city.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Gonna play our guitars and sing you a country song.
- 1:07Speaker 8: The new Sean Hannity Show.
- 1:09Speaker 11: More behind-the-scenes information on breaking news and more bold, inspired
- 1:15Speaker 11: solutions for America. Stay right here for our final news
- 1:20Speaker 11: roundup and information overload.
- 1:22Speaker 12: Our news roundup and information overload hour. Our toll-free telephone
- 1:26Speaker 12: number is 800-941-SHAWN if you want to be a part
- 1:29Speaker 12: of the program. In just a minute, we're going to
- 1:32Speaker 12: introduce you to a man by the name of Joe Abraham.
- 1:35Speaker 12: He is an angel dad. He is the father to
- 1:38Speaker 12: Katie Abraham, who was taken from us far too soon
- 1:43Speaker 12: when an illegal alien... hit the back of a car
- 1:49Speaker 12: sitting at a red light. He was in the back seat.
- 1:52Speaker 12: He died in January of 2025. Can you imagine as
- 1:54Speaker 12: a parent? I'm going to play this in a second.
- 1:57Speaker 12: But we have Democrats, and we were discussing this earlier
- 2:01Speaker 12: in the program today with Congressman Brandon Gill, and we
- 2:05Speaker 12: have Democrats and some Republicans even that are pushing for
- 2:09Speaker 12: this idiotic, imbecilic, insane idea of the Dignity Act, which
- 2:14Speaker 12: is just, oh, never mind that you didn't respect our laws,
- 2:17Speaker 12: our borders and sovereignty. Never mind that we didn't vet you.
- 2:20Speaker 12: We're just going to let you into the country anyway.
- 2:23Speaker 12: You know, I think we are the most dominant program
- 2:26Speaker 12: to point out examples of Americans murdered. and raped and
- 2:31Speaker 12: victims of other violent crimes and children that are molested.
- 2:36Speaker 12: And everybody else seems to ignore it. Clearly, the Democratic
- 2:39Speaker 12: Party never wants to talk about it. They wouldn't even
- 2:41Speaker 12: stand for the family of Lake and Riley and the
- 2:42Speaker 12: family of Jocelyn Nungary. And they wouldn't stand and say
- 2:45Speaker 12: that the first role of government is to protect American citizens,
- 2:49Speaker 12: not illegals. So I think that's all you need to
- 2:52Speaker 12: know about them. And they lied about open borders for
- 2:54Speaker 12: four years. And we have 12 plus million unvetted illegals
- 2:58Speaker 12: from over 200 countries in our country many of them
- 3:01Speaker 12: violent criminals, even known terrorists. Now, I want you to
- 3:04Speaker 12: listen to a couple of angel moms before we get
- 3:08Speaker 12: to Joe Abraham. One is, her name is Agnes Giboney,
- 3:13Speaker 12: and she's a mother that talks about her son, Ronald
- 3:16Speaker 12: Da Silva, murdered by an illegal immigrant. I want you
- 3:19Speaker 12: to listen to her story.
- 3:20Speaker 13: My name is Agnes Giboney. I am here to speak
- 3:23Speaker 13: about my only son, Ronald Da Silva. Ronald was 29
- 3:28Speaker 13: years old when he was murdered. He had a smile
- 3:32Speaker 13: that would light up a room. He was caring, compassionate,
- 3:35Speaker 13: and full of life. This is my son. He loved
- 3:40Speaker 13: working on cars. He had a natural gift for it.
- 3:44Speaker 13: He loved animals so much that one day he brought
- 3:46Speaker 13: a baby crow to my house and said, please take
- 3:49Speaker 13: care of it, don't let it die. He was funny,
- 3:53Speaker 13: always playing pranks, and his laughter filled our home. and
- 4:00Speaker 13: gave the kind of bear hugs a mother never forgets.
- 4:06Speaker 13: He was also a loving father to two young boys,
- 4:11Speaker 13: something that the media often forgets is the children left
- 4:15Speaker 13: behind by those that were killed by illegal aliens called
- 4:19Speaker 13: true family separation. My family changed forever. My life changed
- 4:27Speaker 13: forever on April in 2002. My son was standing on
- 4:31Speaker 13: a friend's driveway when he was shot. He was taken
- 4:35Speaker 13: to the hospital where he underwent surgery, but the doctors
- 4:40Speaker 13: couldn't save him. He bled to death. When I arrived
- 4:44Speaker 13: at the hospital, through a window to look at my
- 4:49Speaker 13: son's lifeless body, I banged on that window yelling out
- 4:54Speaker 13: his name, Ronald, please open your eyes. Don't do this
- 4:58Speaker 13: to me. I thought it was a well-orchestrated prank. But
- 5:04Speaker 13: I was wrong. My son never opened his eyes. He
- 5:08Speaker 13: was laying there with his eyes still taped, still intubated,
- 5:12Speaker 13: and I was not allowed to hold or touch my son.
- 5:15Speaker 13: That moment forever froze in my mind. That image will
- 5:20Speaker 13: never leave my mind. I am here today to honor
- 5:24Speaker 13: my son, but also to speak for families like mine
- 5:29Speaker 13: whose lives were changed in an instant and never returned
- 5:33Speaker 13: to what they knew before.
- 5:35Speaker 12: Every one of these stories is so, so heartbreaking. And
- 5:39Speaker 12: the worst part is they're all preventable. Now, I want
- 5:42Speaker 12: you to listen to Patty Fox, another angel mom, talking
- 5:46Speaker 12: about her daughter, Carissa, who became severely disabled after an
- 5:50Speaker 12: illegal crashed into her. her and fled the scene this
- 5:54Speaker 12: happens all the time listen my name is patty fox.
- 5:58Speaker 14: And i'm here to speak about my daughter carissa aspness
- 6:02Speaker 14: before everything she was extremely driven at 16 she approached
- 6:09Speaker 14: me and told me about her dream job at a
- 6:12Speaker 14: high-end salon i didn't think she was going to get
- 6:15Speaker 14: it she got it at 19 she was the youngest
- 6:20Speaker 14: fragrance specialist in chanel At 22, she was attending esthetician
- 6:27Speaker 14: school with big dreams of one day opening her own
- 6:31Speaker 14: skincare line.
- 6:34Speaker 15: Then the crash happened.
- 6:36Speaker 13: We celebrated her 23rd birthday.
- 6:39Speaker 14: March 15th. She is nonverbal. She is minimally conscious. She's
- 6:46Speaker 14: wheelchair bound. And she ate her birthday dinner through a G-tube.
- 6:52Speaker 14: Every day is bittersweet. For us, we experience every emotion imaginable. Anger, sadness, grief, joy, pride, gratitude.
- 7:08Speaker 14: I miss her voice. I miss her laugh. And we
- 7:14Speaker 14: work towards infusing joy into our lives and embracing who
- 7:19Speaker 14: she is now. The voice program was very simple to
- 7:26Speaker 14: navigate and to use. I was grateful for the service provided,
- 7:31Speaker 14: which I would not have known about if not for X.
- 7:36Speaker 14: Thank you, Elon Musk. The mainstream media is not very
- 7:44Speaker 14: open about such resources available to us. Thank you, Denver ERO.
- 7:51Speaker 14: We received word the beginning of the month that the
- 7:57Speaker 14: person that had hit my daughter.
- 7:58Speaker 13: And fled the scene has been deported.
- 8:04Speaker 14: Thank you for the only justice and closure that my
- 8:10Speaker 14: family will ever receive.
- 8:13Speaker 13: Thank you, President Trump.
- 8:16Speaker 12: Whole life changed, upended. Because somebody that didn't belong in
- 8:20Speaker 12: this country gets behind the wheel of a car. I'm
- 8:22Speaker 12: going to play one more. Jennifer Boss, angel mom, talking
- 8:25Speaker 12: about her daughter Megan, whose body was stuffed in a
- 8:29Speaker 12: garbage can by an unvetted illegal immigrant. Listen to her story.
- 8:34Speaker 16: This is my daughter Megan, and I came here to
- 8:36Speaker 16: tell you about her. She was my firstborn child. She
- 8:42Speaker 16: was my only daughter.
- 8:45Speaker 10: She was a mother.
- 8:47Speaker 16: A beloved sister, an aunt, a fiercely loyal friend. Megan
- 8:53Speaker 16: had been planning to return to college and start her
- 8:56Speaker 16: own business. She was really bubbly and creative, and she
- 9:00Speaker 16: always did the craziest things to make somebody laugh when
- 9:04Speaker 16: they were starting to feel down.
- 9:07Speaker 1: That's who she was.
- 9:08Speaker 16: The mischievous sparkle in her eye, you can see it.
- 9:15Speaker 16: The love that she generously gave to everybody and the
- 9:19Speaker 16: hope that she had for her future was erased by
- 9:21Speaker 16: someone who had.
- 9:23Speaker 8: No right to be in this country.
- 9:27Speaker 15: She went to his house and she never left.
- 9:31Speaker 16: He had taken her body and stuffed it in a
- 9:32Speaker 16: garbage can, keeping her doused in bleach for 51 days
- 9:36Speaker 16: while we searched for her desperately.
- 9:40Speaker 1: That's why we fight for her every day.
- 9:43Speaker 16: This has been incredibly hard on our family, especially right now,
- 9:47Speaker 16: tomorrow marks one year since they found her. A tragedy
- 9:54Speaker 16: like mine and the other families that are here. Excuse.
- 10:00Speaker 15: Me, could have been prevented.
- 10:04Speaker 16: And that knowledge creates an agony for us like no other.
- 10:11Speaker 16: We show up like this to speak what we're living
- 10:15Speaker 16: every day, the dire consequence of open borders. and dangerous
- 10:22Speaker 16: sanctuary policies. We come hoping that our stories raise awareness
- 10:30Speaker 16: of the vulnerabilities.
- 10:32Speaker 1: We have to find a way to.
- 10:35Speaker 16: Work together to put an end to these tragedies that
- 10:38Speaker 16: we have the power to prevent.
- 10:40Speaker 12: The legacy media mob won't ever talk about these victims
- 10:45Speaker 12: of crime. The most preventable national security disaster in american
- 10:50Speaker 12: history which brings us to joe abraham he's the father
- 10:54Speaker 12: of katie abraham and he slams dickie durbin for failing
- 10:59Speaker 12: to address him at a senate hearing what did they
- 11:03Speaker 12: can't even did they cause this they sat silent while
- 11:06Speaker 12: we had open borders for four years and over 12
- 11:09Speaker 12: plus million we don't know the exact number came into
- 11:12Speaker 12: this country some of the most violent criminals around the
- 11:15Speaker 12: world over 200 countries and listen to this exchange Thank
- 11:19Speaker 12: you in particular for being here today.
- 11:21Speaker 15: Thank you.
- 11:23Speaker 12: I want to extend my deepest condolences.
- 11:26Speaker 17: I appreciate it. I also appreciate Ranking Member Welsh and Mr.
- 11:30Speaker 17: Padilla for recognizing that. What I don't understand is why
- 11:33Speaker 17: my senator of Illinois, Mr. Durbin, haven't heard two words
- 11:38Speaker 17: from him toward me. But sorry, I want to take
- 11:40Speaker 17: your time. Kind of amazing.
- 11:43Speaker 8: I think it is a fair question to ask.
- 11:45Speaker 15: Kind of happy he's calling it quits.
- 11:48Speaker 12: Oh, anyway, Joe Abraham is with us. He's an angel dad.
- 11:52Speaker 12: His daughter, Katie Abraham, taken way too soon and illegal,
- 11:56Speaker 12: hit the back of a car sitting at a red light.
- 11:59Speaker 12: He was in the back seat. He died in January 2025.
- 12:02Speaker 12: She was only 20 years old.
- 12:03Speaker 18: Mr.
- 12:03Speaker 12: Abraham, first, my deepest condolences. condolences. I don't know if
- 12:09Speaker 12: there's anything harder in life to deal with than what
- 12:12Speaker 12: you have had to live through. I'm so, so sorry
- 12:15Speaker 12: from the bottom of my heart. And I know I
- 12:16Speaker 12: speak for my audience.
- 12:18Speaker 17: Hey, Sean, thanks for having me. And you're absolutely right.
- 12:21Speaker 17: This isn't anything you can ever prepare for. This was
- 12:24Speaker 17: completely thrusted upon us. It was something that should have
- 12:28Speaker 17: been foreseeable. What we've been talking about is communities, something
- 12:33Speaker 17: utterly preventable. And now, you know, There's no accountability, no responsibility.
- 12:42Speaker 17: All I hear is that crime happens. Citizens do similar things. And,
- 12:46Speaker 17: you know, I think people miss the point and it's
- 12:49Speaker 17: completely irrelevant what citizens are doing. This is a person
- 12:52Speaker 17: who should have never been here, would have never been drunk,
- 12:55Speaker 17: would have never killed my daughter.
- 12:57Speaker 12: Let's walk through what happened to your daughter. He was
- 13:00Speaker 12: only 20 years old. It's January 2025. I assume either
- 13:04Speaker 12: somebody came to your door or somebody called you. What happened?
- 13:08Speaker 15: Yeah, we received a call from Urbana detectives.
- 13:10Speaker 17: And literally, Sean, we had to hang up the first
- 13:14Speaker 17: time around and gather ourselves and call them back to
- 13:19Speaker 17: really understand what happened. Because when you hear someone in
- 13:24Speaker 17: authority tell you your daughter's been killed, It, you know,
- 13:28Speaker 17: initially it doesn't connect.
- 13:29Speaker 15: So we pulled ourselves together.
- 13:32Speaker 17: We called them back and then they laid out the
- 13:34Speaker 17: details that she was in the backseat behind the driver.
- 13:37Speaker 17: They were in a Honda Civic. There were five girls
- 13:39Speaker 17: just having an ordinary night at SUV traveling at almost
- 13:45Speaker 17: 80 miles per hour on a, you know, right in
- 13:48Speaker 17: front of Carley Hospital there at the University of Illinois,
- 13:52Speaker 17: so not a 55-mile-an-hour zone or anything like that. It's
- 13:55Speaker 17: a residential-type zone. Barreled into the car from behind, devastated
- 14:02Speaker 17: that vehicle. First responders had to pry open that vehicle
- 14:06Speaker 17: like a tuna can to pull, number one, my my
- 14:09Speaker 17: daughter's lifeless body out of it. And it still pains
- 14:13Speaker 17: me to this day that I wasn't there for her
- 14:15Speaker 17: and her last breaths, you know, how she was stolen. And,
- 14:19Speaker 17: you know, they love to talk about this, you know, stolen, disappeared, separated,
- 14:26Speaker 17: you know, and they never consider us. I've been Katie
- 14:30Speaker 17: was stolen, disappeared, and I'll never see her again. So
- 14:34Speaker 17: he fled the scene. Detectives said they weren't real sure
- 14:38Speaker 17: who he was. It turns out he was an illegal immigrant.
- 14:40Speaker 17: Now he moved from Urbana to Chicago, down to almost
- 14:44Speaker 17: the border of Mexico within like a day and a half.
- 14:47Speaker 17: He had help. There was money being moved around. I
- 14:49Speaker 17: can't really get a full understanding or an account from
- 14:52Speaker 17: Illinois as to how that happened. uh illinois does not
- 14:55Speaker 17: share illinois is not victim friendly uh illinois you know
- 15:00Speaker 17: on one hand will tell you you'll get the full
- 15:02Speaker 17: extent of the law and on the other hand when
- 15:04Speaker 17: reality hits you get a plea deal and this guy
- 15:07Speaker 17: will see the light of day again after killing two women.
- 15:10Speaker 12: Well i want you to and the other side we're
- 15:12Speaker 12: going to take a little break here um i want
- 15:15Speaker 12: you i want to go through what J.B. Pritzker has
- 15:18Speaker 12: been doing, because he is lashing out as usual at ICE.
- 15:21Speaker 12: I want to know if he ever called you or
- 15:24Speaker 12: your family or reached out to any of the other victims,
- 15:28Speaker 12: because he's more interested in attacking ICE and calling them
- 15:32Speaker 12: Gestapo and Nazi and fascist like every other, you know,
- 15:35Speaker 12: liberal Democrat that allowed this to happen and said nothing
- 15:39Speaker 12: and even defended the big lie that the border was
- 15:41Speaker 12: closed and the border was secure. But I can't think
- 15:44Speaker 12: of anything worse. Our prayers, our thoughts are with you.
- 15:47Speaker 12: Joe Abraham, angel dad, lost his 20-year-old daughter, Katie, back
- 15:52Speaker 12: in January of 2025 and is confronting these politicians that
- 15:57Speaker 12: say nothing. Anyway, we'll have more on the other side,
- 15:59Speaker 12: more with Joe Abraham, and then we'll get your calls in, 800-941-SHAWN,
- 16:02Speaker 12: as we continue.
- 16:10Speaker 19: While the mainstream media is asleep at the wheel, Hannity
- 16:17Speaker 19: Watch is on the job, bringing you the news.
- 16:21Speaker 20: No one else can.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Sean Hannity.

- 17:37Speaker 12: it is easy to think of headlines, politics. Oh, just
- 17:41Speaker 12: another conflict far away. No, this is very real. They're
- 17:44Speaker 12: in a fight for their survival. Now, anti-Semitic attacks in
- 17:48Speaker 12: the Holy Land, across the globe. It is sad. Its
- 17:51Speaker 12: rise is frightening. We have elderly Holocaust survivors. They have
- 17:55Speaker 12: endured so much, now again, fearing for their lives. Now,
- 17:59Speaker 12: Jewish families praying for freedom to worship and safety and security.
- 18:03Speaker 12: In moments like these, not only does your voice matter,
- 18:06Speaker 12: but your generosity matters. The IFCJ, the International Fellowship of
- 18:11Speaker 12: Christians and Jews, are providing all the humanitarian assistance on
- 18:14Speaker 12: the ground today. But they need your help. And they
- 18:17Speaker 12: provide food and water and shelter and clothing and medications.
- 18:22Speaker 12: And they even have mobile medical clinics for the elderly
- 18:25Speaker 12: that can't get out of their homes. Go to their website, PrayIFCJ.org.
- 18:30Speaker 12: That's PrayIFCJ.org. And you can go there and submit a
- 18:34Speaker 12: prayer today.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Artists, Youngstown's news, weather, and talk station, 570 WKBN.
- 18:45Speaker 9: You know, when.
- 18:57Speaker 12: You talk to Joe Abraham and you talk to victims
- 18:59Speaker 12: of crime, it should be a real stark reminder that
- 19:03Speaker 12: you've got to protect yourself. You've got to have a safety.
- 19:05Speaker 12: You've got to have a security plan. Now, some instances
- 19:09Speaker 12: when people want to kill you, kill your family, there's
- 19:11Speaker 12: only one option available. That's the lethal option. But if
- 19:13Speaker 12: you're going to do that, According to the FBI, 2022,
- 19:16Speaker 12: the latest year we have statistics for, that is less than.
- 19:19Speaker 12: 01 % of all altercations that require that lethal response.
- 19:24Speaker 12: Look at this technology online. Look at their videos. Go
- 19:26Speaker 12: to byrna.com, byrna.com, or check them out at your local
- 19:32Speaker 12: Sportsman's Warehouse location. We'll have more with Joe Abraham, angel dad,
- 19:38Speaker 12: lost his beautiful daughter, Katie on the other side, and
- 19:42Speaker 12: we'll get to your calls coming up as well. 800-941-SHAWN
- 19:45Speaker 12: as we continue.
- 19:47Speaker 21: When we come back, more of the best of the
- 19:49Speaker 21: Sean Hannity Show.
- 19:50Speaker 12: Stay tuned. You know, paying 70, 80, 90 bucks a
- 20:00Speaker 12: month to big wireless companies, AT & T, Verizon, T-Mobile
- 20:03Speaker 12: for unlimited data, that is insanity, especially when Pure Talk,
- 20:09Speaker 12: a veteran-owned company, my wireless company, they will give you
- 20:12Speaker 12: unlimited high-speed data for just $ 34. 99 a month. That's unlimited
- 20:17Speaker 12: high-speed data, AppShore Talk, It used to start at $ 55

- 21:08Speaker 1: You can't always believe what the other side claims. That's
- 21:11Speaker 1: why there's the Sean Hannity Show.
- 21:16Speaker 12: I-25 now till the top of the hour. Toll free,
- 21:17Speaker 12: our number is 800-941-SHAWN. If you want to be a
- 21:20Speaker 12: part of the program, we continue. Joe Abraham is with us.
- 21:23Speaker 12: He is an angel dad. He is the father to
- 21:27Speaker 12: Katie Abraham. He sadly was killed by an illegal immigrant
- 21:33Speaker 12: that plowed into the back of her car. This is
- 21:36Speaker 12: in January of 2025. He took to social media. addressing
- 21:43Speaker 12: his governor just like he dressed down in person his
- 21:45Speaker 12: own senator, Dick Durbin, and he said, I'm outraged by
- 21:49Speaker 12: your refusal to work with the Department of Homeland Security
- 21:52Speaker 12: and ICE to remove known criminal illegal immigrants and by
- 21:57Speaker 12: the callousness you continue to show to victims of your policies.
- 22:02Speaker 12: And more specifically, he's talking about Operation Midnight Blitz, which
- 22:05Speaker 12: was named for his daughter, Katie Abraham. killed by this
- 22:09Speaker 12: illegal immigrant, never should have been here, no verified identity,
- 22:13Speaker 12: no background check, no safeguards. He rightly says, this is
- 22:17Speaker 12: your failure. You talk about accountability, yet you lack the
- 22:21Speaker 12: self-awareness that you show on this issue, and it's staggering.
- 22:25Speaker 12: The ongoing pattern of distraction and deflection reveals a refusal
- 22:30Speaker 12: to take responsibility for the real-world consequences of the policies
- 22:35Speaker 12: that you promote. And your silence and indifference are a
- 22:39Speaker 12: profound disrespect to my daughter and to a lifelong citizen
- 22:44Speaker 12: of Illinois, a grieving father still searching for answers, not
- 22:48Speaker 12: distractions or reframe narratives. You claim compassion, yet your policies
- 22:54Speaker 12: remove consequences for illegal entry while rewarding it with taxpayer dollars.
- 23:00Speaker 12: That's not compassion. That's hypocrisy. My parents came from the
- 23:05Speaker 12: third world. We understand accountability. You chose to ignore it.
- 23:09Speaker 12: You have never acknowledged Katie, not once. Say her name, Governor,
- 23:14Speaker 12: talking to J.B. Pritzker. Has he ever said her name?
- 23:17Speaker 17: Governor Pritzker has never said her name. So I just
- 23:20Speaker 17: started getting on social, Sean, to be honest. It's only
- 23:23Speaker 17: been a few weeks at Angel Dad Joe. But I
- 23:28Speaker 17: didn't know what to do. I have no record. They
- 23:30Speaker 17: won't even look at me.
- 23:32Speaker 22: So I..
- 23:33Speaker 17: Finally got on some social media to at least voice like, hello,
- 23:37Speaker 17: I'm still here. Your policies have wrecked my family and
- 23:43Speaker 17: took my youngest daughter away, and you think you can
- 23:46Speaker 17: just erase her and disrespect her?
- 23:49Speaker 15: I can't have that. You have zero compassion.
- 23:54Speaker 17: You're an arrogant, aloof, person that has no compassion and.
- 24:00Speaker 15: Shouldn't pretend like he does.
- 24:02Speaker 17: I can speak to this all day long as a
- 24:05Speaker 17: lifelong Illinois and Cook County resident, the two most corrupt
- 24:09Speaker 17: places in this nation. I'm sorry, California can't and Minnesota can't.
- 24:15Speaker 17: Illinois and Cook County and the way this governor's running things,
- 24:20Speaker 17: I've never seen anything like it. Even the old school
- 24:22Speaker 17: Democrats had some guardrails, not now, not at all.
- 24:27Speaker 12: With your level of outspokenness, I'm sure he's aware of
- 24:31Speaker 12: what you have written. I'm sure he's aware of what
- 24:34Speaker 12: you've said. They keep doubling down on their sanctuary state policies.
- 24:38Speaker 12: They double down on their incendiary, insightful rhetoric against ICE
- 24:44Speaker 12: and the Department of Homeland Security, which they don't want
- 24:47Speaker 12: to fund, just like they don't want to fund the police.
- 24:49Speaker 12: They want defund, dismantle, no bail laws. I mean, You know,
- 24:54Speaker 12: my only humble advice to you is I don't think
- 24:57Speaker 12: you will ever get satisfaction or even recognition from these
- 25:01Speaker 12: people in this state. I know you've lived there your
- 25:03Speaker 12: whole life. But, you know, as soon as you can
- 25:06Speaker 12: get out of there, I highly recommend you leave and
- 25:08Speaker 12: go to a state where they put a priority on
- 25:10Speaker 12: law enforcement.
- 25:11Speaker 15: Yeah, they put us in that position.
- 25:13Speaker 17: We are thinking about that because I don't see things
- 25:16Speaker 17: changing the way they ought to here in this state.
- 25:19Speaker 17: But think about how incoherent someone like a J.B. Pritzker
- 25:23Speaker 17: is or a Tammy Duckworth or a. Dick Dermott, let's
- 25:26Speaker 17: take J.B.
- 25:26Speaker 22: Pritzker.
- 25:27Speaker 17: He's out there, and I've been warning since Katie's death
- 25:30Speaker 17: that there's going to be other deaths, not only because
- 25:35Speaker 17: victims happen every day, they just don't die every day.
- 25:37Speaker 17: There are other types of victims. But I said there
- 25:40Speaker 17: was going to be more deaths. Then he Sheridan Gorman happens.
- 25:46Speaker 17: And he's out there saying, well, Donald Trump and ICE
- 25:48Speaker 17: didn't do their job when they were here.
- 25:50Speaker 15: Can you imagine how incoherent this is?
- 25:52Speaker 17: When they were here, he was calling them Gestapo, jackbooted thugs,
- 25:56Speaker 17: and secret police, and did everything they can to obstruct
- 26:00Speaker 17: these guys. And then after the fact, they said, well,
- 26:03Speaker 17: these guys didn't do the right job. So what are
- 26:05Speaker 17: you saying, Governor? Do you want the jackbooted thugs, Gestapo,
- 26:08Speaker 17: and special police back in the communities? And let's be clear,
- 26:12Speaker 17: This governor needed the chaos in the streets like they
- 26:15Speaker 17: did in Minnesota. Do you think they care a whit
- 26:18Speaker 17: about Renee Goode or Alex Pratt? Do you think they
- 26:22Speaker 17: wanted that incident so they could use an issue to
- 26:26Speaker 17: not only deflect from their failed policies, but to deflect
- 26:30Speaker 17: from the open borders? This is an indictment on every
- 26:33Speaker 17: single one of them if they acknowledge Katie. And that's
- 26:36Speaker 17: why I think they're not doing it. It's an indictment
- 26:39Speaker 17: on their hypocrisy. It's an indictment on their failed policies.
- 26:43Speaker 17: And it's an indictment on their arrogance, which they have
- 26:46Speaker 17: no humility towards service. And their ideology is a North Star, Sean.
- 26:52Speaker 17: And that's a failed life as far as I'm concerned.
- 26:54Speaker 17: In fact, you're a North Star.
- 26:56Speaker 12: Well, I applaud you for your willingness to be so
- 27:00Speaker 12: powerfully outspoken. I think every American needs to hear your voice.
- 27:05Speaker 12: is beyond praying for you, I know there's probably not
- 27:09Speaker 12: much people can do for you except try to be
- 27:12Speaker 12: there for you and try to comfort you. I've met
- 27:16Speaker 12: too many people in the course of my life and
- 27:19Speaker 12: my career, and I've got to tell you something, and
- 27:22Speaker 12: I don't want you to take this the wrong way.
- 27:25Speaker 12: The interviews that I dislike doing the most are often
- 27:29Speaker 12: the most important, and that is interviewing people like yourself.
- 27:33Speaker 12: that have lost children in cases like this that were
- 27:38Speaker 12: so preventable. I mean, I have a combination of reactions,
- 27:43Speaker 12: just deep sympathy and compassion and sadness for you and
- 27:49Speaker 12: also rage and anger within me that this was all preventable,
- 27:54Speaker 12: if that makes any sense to you.
- 27:56Speaker 15: That makes total sense. And we shouldn't be having this discussion.
- 28:00Speaker 17: And here's the one thing I'll tell you, as a
- 28:03Speaker 17: leader and someone who's going to be held to account,
- 28:07Speaker 17: he should talk to every victim his preventable policies have created. Now,
- 28:13Speaker 17: I'm not going to talk about, you know, people try
- 28:15Speaker 17: to deflect and say, Native Americans do more crime. Crime
- 28:20Speaker 17: happens every day. DUI drivers kill people, Americans, every day.
- 28:24Speaker 17: Why is this guy special? Why is Katie special? It's
- 28:27Speaker 17: a different set of circumstances. This is a person who
- 28:31Speaker 17: should have never been here. It's not a citizen. It
- 28:34Speaker 17: should have never happened. He should have never been here.
- 28:36Speaker 17: And the People like J.B. Pritzker's of the world encourage,
- 28:40Speaker 17: incentivize lawlessness. And he has no idea who he brought
- 28:45Speaker 17: in Illinois. Hundreds of thousands, for example, the guy who
- 28:48Speaker 17: killed Katie had HIV in our communities. Not a moral judgment.
- 28:53Speaker 17: I'm telling you, they didn't help anybody, not Katie or
- 28:56Speaker 17: this guy. They helped nobody.
- 28:58Speaker 12: Was this guy arrested multiple times before, like usually is
- 29:02Speaker 12: the case?
- 29:02Speaker 17: So the only thing I can get is that I
- 29:05Speaker 17: know he was pulled over or he was cited at
- 29:08Speaker 17: one point, but he skipped the court and he didn't
- 29:10Speaker 17: pay his fine. Eleanor would never follow her up. He
- 29:13Speaker 17: was using an alias, Sean. He had HIV in the community, Sean.
- 29:17Speaker 17: He had no formal education. He couldn't speak English, couldn't
- 29:21Speaker 17: speak Spanish, couldn't read or write. He spoke some French.
- 29:25Speaker 17: Mayan indigenous language from Guatemala called Kaichi.
- 29:28Speaker 15: We had trouble with translators. They keep coming back for
- 29:31Speaker 15: more money.
- 29:32Speaker 17: So my taxpayers not only supported the guy who killed Katie,
- 29:36Speaker 17: but now my tax dollars have to go support this
- 29:38Speaker 17: guy's defense and his health care and his incarceration this
- 29:43Speaker 17: governor is so incoherent in what he does and i
- 29:46Speaker 17: gotta be honest with you sean i think this is
- 29:48Speaker 17: coming from the national party i don't think he's much
- 29:51Speaker 17: of a Impressive person, a deep thinker. I think he
- 29:55Speaker 17: just kind of does what he's told from a national perspective,
- 29:58Speaker 17: and then they might promise him an opportunity in 2028.
- 30:02Speaker 17: I'm telling everyone right now, if anything ever happens in
- 30:05Speaker 17: this state, your state will turn its back against you.
- 30:09Speaker 17: And as a country, this is the worst run mismanaged
- 30:13Speaker 17: state in every perspective. You don't want this mismanagement of
- 30:17Speaker 17: Illinois into the White House. I promise you that.
- 30:20Speaker 12: Our prayers are with you and your family and for
- 30:24Speaker 12: beautiful Katie. She should be alive and you should be
- 30:29Speaker 12: a happy, proud dad. And I wish I had greater
- 30:33Speaker 12: words of comfort that I could give you. I'm so
- 30:36Speaker 12: sorry you had to go through all of this. And
- 30:38Speaker 12: I'm sorry that so many other families have.
- 30:40Speaker 20: Had to go through this.
- 30:41Speaker 12: And I'm sad that I'm one of the few people
- 30:44Speaker 12: that actually highlight this. The whole media should be highlighting it.
- 30:47Speaker 12: That would make it stop. But they choose not to.
- 30:51Speaker 12: And they never will either.
- 30:53Speaker 23: No.
- 30:53Speaker 17: And what they don't comprehend and what they don't consider
- 30:56Speaker 17: is now I've got this tension between my longevity, Sean.
- 31:00Speaker 17: I once thought I would live long enough to see
- 31:02Speaker 17: my kids grow and their children. I have this tension now.
- 31:05Speaker 17: I've got two living kids. Hopefully they will stay that
- 31:08Speaker 17: way in Illinois. And then I've got one who was
- 31:10Speaker 17: killed and buried. I have this tension. If I don't
- 31:14Speaker 17: have longevity, I'm fine. I'm going to go see reunite,
- 31:17Speaker 17: reunite with Katie. If I do, then I can see
- 31:19Speaker 17: my other two kids. This is a position Illinois put
- 31:22Speaker 17: me in. It's disgusting.
- 31:24Speaker 15: And I'm, I'm just, I don't even.
- 31:26Speaker 10: Know what to say.
- 31:26Speaker 12: We'll pray for your longevity because we need powerful voices
- 31:29Speaker 12: like yours to champion those that can't champion themselves. Our
- 31:34Speaker 12: prayers are with you. Joe Abraham, you and your family,
- 31:38Speaker 12: please know that this audience cares and we we are
- 31:41Speaker 12: sad about the story. We appreciate your courage in telling
- 31:44Speaker 12: the story and also warning everybody about the likes of J.B. Pritzker.
- 31:49Speaker 12: But there's plenty of J.B. Pritzker's out there. One is
- 31:52Speaker 12: Gavin Newsom. One is Tim Walls. You know, another would
- 31:56Speaker 12: be in New York and New York City. And, you know,
- 31:59Speaker 12: Marxist Kami Mamdani. I mean, it's just they're all over
- 32:02Speaker 12: the place. They make this world less safe, less secure.
- 32:06Speaker 12: They don't have law and order. And if they ever
- 32:09Speaker 12: get more power, the country, frankly, is screwed. Because what
- 32:13Speaker 12: they did to this country, the four years of Biden, Harris, Mayorkas,
- 32:16Speaker 12: is unforgivable to me. And they have blood on their hands.
- 32:19Speaker 12: I blame them. Anyway, my friend, God bless you and
- 32:23Speaker 12: God bless your family.
- 32:25Speaker 22: Thank you.
- 32:25Speaker 15: God bless you.
- 32:26Speaker 12: 800-941-SHAWN, our number. If you want to be a part
- 32:29Speaker 12: of the program, we'll continue.
- 32:36Speaker 1: He never stops working for the good of the country.
- 32:40Speaker 11: Kennedy's on with behind-the-scenes information on today's breaking news. And bold,
- 32:47Speaker 11: inspired solutions for America every day.
- 32:59Speaker 12: All right, if you find yourself, you're one of those
- 33:01Speaker 12: people trapped in those horrible timeshares. And it's almost and
- 33:05Speaker 12: feels almost impossible to get out of this. Now, that

- 34:25Speaker 12: All right, let's get to our busy telephones here. Let
- 34:29Speaker 12: us say hello to Ken in Georgia. Ken, hi, how
- 34:32Speaker 12: are you? Glad you called, sir.
- 34:34Speaker 22: Hi, there is a privilege to talk to you today.
- 34:37Speaker 22: Thank you very much.
- 34:38Speaker 12: The pleasure is all mine.
- 34:41Speaker 22: Well, about the Strait of Hormuz and Iran over there,
- 34:44Speaker 22: I have to wonder if we could, the USA, could
- 34:48Speaker 22: call upon the GCC, the Gulf countries, to take some
- 34:51Speaker 22: kind of action to restrain Iran in the maritime waters
- 34:55Speaker 22: of the Gulf. The GCC might be able to make
- 34:58Speaker 22: a change on the territorial waters over there and push
- 35:02Speaker 22: the Iranian boundary all the way over to the Iranian shoreline.
- 35:06Speaker 22: Make the whole Gulf... Maritime waters of the GCC. You know,
- 35:11Speaker 22: Trump has already mentioned taking Karg Island, and I think
- 35:15Speaker 22: that that move would be bad optics in the rest
- 35:18Speaker 22: of the world. But what if we assisted the GCC
- 35:22Speaker 22: to do that? If the GCC did it, it might
- 35:25Speaker 22: pass the muster in the optics of the rest of
- 35:27Speaker 22: the world. You know, Iran's already fired.
- 35:31Speaker 12: There might be a component that involves Cargill, and there
- 35:34Speaker 12: might be a component where the U.S. somehow would help
- 35:40Speaker 12: the international waterways in the Strait. However, I think the
- 35:44Speaker 12: president is pretty committed to no forever wars. However, I
- 35:49Speaker 12: know the president, when it comes to other countries paying
- 35:53Speaker 12: for their liberation, he's all for it. And the Iranians, frankly,
- 35:57Speaker 12: in the end should pay us back. You know, their
- 36:00Speaker 12: 10 point plan that was leaked that people believe was
- 36:02Speaker 12: real and it never was. You know, they're calling for
- 36:05Speaker 12: reparations from us. No, they owe us the money. But
- 36:09Speaker 12: putting all of that aside, I think the president's going
- 36:12Speaker 12: to achieve his objectives, whatever remaining things that he might
- 36:16Speaker 12: want to accomplish. That will be up to him based
- 36:20Speaker 12: on obvious intelligence. and the national security importance of whatever
- 36:25Speaker 12: mission that he decides we have to be involved in.
- 36:27Speaker 12: And I have faith and confidence he'll make the right decision.
- 36:30Speaker 12: All right, my friend, I wish I had more time
- 36:32Speaker 12: for you. I do not, but I appreciate your call.
- 36:34Speaker 12: Thanks for being with us. All right, that's going to
- 36:36Speaker 12: wrap things up for today. A great Hannity tonight, 9
- 36:39Speaker 12: Eastern on the Fox News Channel, as we'll check in
- 36:42Speaker 12: with Senator Ted Cruz, Steve Miller. Glenn Youngkin, Joe Concha,
- 36:45Speaker 12: and Jared Isaacman, NASA Administrator, 9 Eastern, Hannity, Fox. See
- 36:50Speaker 12: you then. Back here tomorrow. Thank you for making this
- 36:52Speaker 12: show possible. This is the best of the best. This
- 36:56Speaker 12: is the Sean Hannity Show. Personal safety is about more

- 38:15Speaker 12: They're in a fight for their survival. Now, anti-Semitic attacks
- 38:19Speaker 12: in the Holy Land, across the globe. It is sad.
- 38:22Speaker 12: Its rise is frightening. You have elderly Holocaust survivors. They

- 39:07Speaker 25: From ABC News, I'm Chuck Sievertson. A record number of
- 39:10Speaker 25: people across the U.S. are on the move in the
- 39:13Speaker 25: skies and on very crowded roads right now. On the airports,

- 39:20Speaker 26: this past Thursday and this Wednesday, so those security lines,
- 39:24Speaker 26: as you can imagine, are going to get pretty serious.
- 39:26Speaker 27: More than 39 million people are expected to hit the road,
- 39:29Speaker 27: and that is actually a record for Memorial Day. The
- 39:31Speaker 27: folks over at INRIX, they actually give us this estimate.
- 39:34Speaker 27: They say that if you're on the road between noon
- 39:36Speaker 27: and five, expect plenty of company there. It's going to
- 39:39Speaker 27: be among the busiest periods of the entire weekend.

- 39:51Speaker 26: facing new record gas prices for Memorial Day. They're surpassing
- 39:54Speaker 26: the highs set back in 2022. And collectively, Americans are
- 39:58Speaker 26: paying $ 2 billion more on gas this holiday weekend compared
- 40:02Speaker 26: to last year.
- 40:02Speaker 25: Gasoline prices are higher because of the Iran war and
- 40:05Speaker 25: the closing of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran and

- 40:08Speaker 10: Blockade.
- 40:09Speaker 25: Oil prices went down some today on word from President

- 40:21Speaker 28: Remember that one of the main justifications for military action

- 41:45Speaker 31: No, but you don't have, excuse me, you do not
- 41:47Speaker 31: have the right to say climate change does not exist,

- 42:40Speaker 12: I'm not upset at all that the UAE is getting
- 42:43Speaker 12: out of OPEC. As far as I'm concerned, it was
- 42:46Speaker 12: a price-fixing syndicate, but that's my own thoughts on it.
- 42:51Speaker 12: Here's the president talking about UAE getting out of OPEC
- 42:54Speaker 12: and saying, yeah, it's a good thing. I know very.
- 42:57Speaker 8: Well Mohammed and very smart.
- 43:01Speaker 30: And he probably.
- 43:02Speaker 10: Maybe wants to go his own way.
- 43:05Speaker 8: That's a good thing.
- 43:06Speaker 12: I think ultimately it's a good thing.
- 43:07Speaker 1: For getting the price of gas down, getting oil down.
- 43:11Speaker 13: Getting everything down.
- 43:13Speaker 8: They have it all.
- 43:15Speaker 1: So he's a great leader, actually.
- 43:16Speaker 15: So, no, I'm OK.
- 43:17Speaker 8: They're having some problems in OPEC.
- 43:20Speaker 12: They're having some problems there. Yeah, but I think ultimately
- 43:24Speaker 12: the president has built up, especially in Gulf states, a
- 43:28Speaker 12: strong enough relationship that I think whatever the president needed
- 43:32Speaker 12: from them that they would do. I think there's going
- 43:35Speaker 12: to be as a result of all of this in
- 43:38Speaker 12: the end of reconfiguration. I think the Strait of Hormuz
- 43:41Speaker 12: probably over time will become obsolete. as all these oil
- 43:44Speaker 12: producing nations now find alternatives to, you know, how to
- 43:48Speaker 12: get their oil to market, including building pipelines. There's discussions
- 43:51Speaker 12: now going on of the Saudis actually building a pipeline
- 43:54Speaker 12: through Israel as a means of transporting oil. Anyway, here
- 43:59Speaker 12: to weigh.
- 44:00Speaker 1: In on all of this.
- 44:01Speaker 12: And I know it's I know it's difficult. We don't
- 44:02Speaker 12: want to nobody wants to pay more for a gallon
- 44:05Speaker 12: of gasoline than they have to. But need I remind
- 44:09Speaker 12: a lot of you. that you're paying a lot less
- 44:11Speaker 12: now than you were paying under Joe Biden. People seem
- 44:14Speaker 12: to forget the $ 5 an hour gasoline that they were
- 44:19Speaker 12: paying back in the day. But anyway, it's hovering a
- 44:22Speaker 12: little over $ 100 a barrel today. Tim Stewart, president, U.S.
- 44:26Speaker 12: Oil Gas, is with us. Daniel Turner, founder, executive director,
- 44:30Speaker 12: Power of the Future, a national nonprofit that advocates for
- 44:34Speaker 12: American energy jobs, unpacking. how effective the president's blockade has been.
- 44:40Speaker 12: It's costing Iran $ 400 million to $ 500 million a day.
- 44:44Speaker 12: That's a lot of money. That is the bulk of
- 44:47Speaker 12: their entire economy. Anyway, welcome back, both of you. Tim Stewart,
- 44:51Speaker 12: let's analyze where we are. I know the president because
- 44:55Speaker 12: I discussed it with him. The president very clearly says,
- 44:58Speaker 12: I can put an end to all of this tomorrow
- 45:01Speaker 12: and I can obliterate all of their infrastructure today. I
- 45:04Speaker 12: believe the only reason he is showing any hesitancy to
- 45:08Speaker 12: do that is there's 90 plus million Iranians that will
- 45:10Speaker 12: be impacted long term by that decision. That's the easy
- 45:14Speaker 12: part for the president. And I would expect, though, as
- 45:19Speaker 12: effective as the blockade has been and the damage it's
- 45:22Speaker 12: doing to their economy and the likelihood that they'll soon
- 45:25Speaker 12: have to cap their oil wells, which will dramatically reduce production.
- 45:29Speaker 12: that the president is going with a longer-term strategy that
- 45:33Speaker 12: would allow for the potential economy to reemerge for the
- 45:37Speaker 12: people in Iran, which I don't think is a bad
- 45:39Speaker 12: decision for them and the world either. Thoughts?
- 45:43Speaker 33: No, I agree with you.
- 45:43Speaker 34: I think this president's been really smart about this. I mean,
- 45:46Speaker 34: if you take out the Iranian infrastructure, they still have
- 45:48Speaker 34: the capacity to take out the Gulf producers' infrastructure as well.
- 45:52Speaker 34: And that just exacerbates the problem, Sean. This whole OPEC
- 45:57Speaker 34: fracture is really interesting, though, because right now we're running
- 46:00Speaker 34: about a 500 million barrel shortfall coming out of the Gulf.
- 46:05Speaker 34: And I think UAE is looking at the ability to
- 46:09Speaker 34: fill that shortfall quickly, as quickly as they possibly can.
- 46:13Speaker 34: But they can't do it as a member of OPEC
- 46:15Speaker 34: who will sort of continue to expect sort of production
- 46:22Speaker 34: limits on each of their member companies, those quotas. And
- 46:25Speaker 34: so I think UAE is actually... Them walking away is
- 46:27Speaker 34: interesting because it's a structural fracture to OPEC. This is
- 46:30Speaker 34: the first time that the major top-tier producer has quit.
- 46:33Speaker 34: This isn't just some smaller country. They have a capacity
- 46:36Speaker 34: to push towards 5 million barrels a day, but they're
- 46:39Speaker 34: not going to do that. They're not going to be
- 46:41Speaker 34: able to do that if they're still tied to the
- 46:42Speaker 34: OPEC quota. I think they're done sort of subordinating their
- 46:46Speaker 34: sovereignty to a quota system that's really dominated by Russia's
- 46:50Speaker 34: revenue needs and, in this case, Iran's survival. We have
- 46:54Speaker 34: a different world in front of us, that's for sure,
- 46:56Speaker 34: both on the infrastructure, how crude it actually gets to market,
- 46:59Speaker 34: but also who prices that. And I think if you move,
- 47:03Speaker 34: it gives them greater latitude. So what that's going to do,
- 47:05Speaker 34: that's going to bring the best. As rapidly as crude
- 47:08Speaker 34: has gone up, it's going to bring it down pretty
- 47:10Speaker 34: quickly as well.
- 47:11Speaker 12: Yeah, and if you look at where we are today, Daniel,
- 47:14Speaker 12: the average price for a gallon of gasoline, yeah, I
- 47:17Speaker 12: want it at $ 2 a gallon myself if possible. Although
- 47:21Speaker 12: I'm driving my electric car more alone, probably pay more
- 47:23Speaker 12: for energy anyway. But putting that aside under Joe Biden,
- 47:27Speaker 12: if you go back, Biden's all time high was five
- 47:29Speaker 12: dollars and one cent per gallon. That was the nationwide
- 47:33Speaker 12: average at that point. And I don't know what excuse
- 47:36Speaker 12: he had, except, you know, Kamala Harris saying that it's
- 47:38Speaker 12: the cost of democracy.
- 47:40Speaker 23: Yeah, what we were seeing during the Biden years was
- 47:43Speaker 23: a genuine market concern about futures production. And we don't
- 47:46Speaker 23: have that now. We don't have a production problem. That's
- 47:48Speaker 23: why after the president comes inaugural in 2025, it's why
- 47:52Speaker 23: oil prices fell so precipitously. that by the time he
- 47:55Speaker 23: did his first address to Congress, he was able to
- 47:58Speaker 23: spike the football on it. Markets are desperate for a
- 48:01Speaker 23: sign of military resolution, and that's why we've been seeing
- 48:05Speaker 23: sometimes $ 25 a barrel swings in prices in the same day.
- 48:09Speaker 23: I mean, that's insanity. You know, this market clearly goes
- 48:13Speaker 23: up and down. Prices go up and down, but they
- 48:15Speaker 23: do so gradually. And just this... Crazy fluctuations are signs
- 48:19Speaker 23: that the market is desperate to have some assurances, and
- 48:23Speaker 23: they don't have them yet, and that's the frustrating thing.
- 48:26Speaker 23: But once there is that certainty that all the tankers
- 48:29Speaker 23: are getting through the blockade, it has been successful for Iran,
- 48:32Speaker 23: but it has not prevented any of our allies, et cetera,
- 48:36Speaker 23: from getting to port. oil prices will drop back to
- 48:40Speaker 23: their regular level fairly quickly. I think it could be
- 48:43Speaker 23: in a matter of weeks. So they're just looking for
- 48:46Speaker 23: that guarantee. They don't have it yet. And I know
- 48:49Speaker 23: the president knows that. He's well aware of that. But
- 48:51Speaker 23: you know what? He's also not going to use this
- 48:55Speaker 23: for political reasons. He has a much larger objective. and
- 48:58Speaker 23: he's willing to risk, quite frankly, his approval ratings. People
- 49:03Speaker 23: are saying even the midterms. It shows you how seriously
- 49:06Speaker 23: he takes the threat of radical Islam and how he
- 49:08Speaker 23: wants to end it once and for all.
- 49:10Speaker 12: Well, I mean, there is short-term pain. I'm not going
- 49:13Speaker 12: to do what Democrats do and lie to us and say, oh,
- 49:16Speaker 12: Joe's cognitively as strong as he's ever been when he's not.
- 49:19Speaker 12: I'm not going to lie and say the border's open.
- 49:22Speaker 12: I'm sorry, the border's closed and the border's secure when
- 49:24Speaker 12: it's not. Oil prices are going up. It is a
- 49:27Speaker 12: direct result of the president seeing a long term strategic
- 49:32Speaker 12: national security threat to our country. And that is a
- 49:35Speaker 12: nuclear armed Iran. Now, earlier in the week, Tim Stewart,
- 49:39Speaker 12: the president, met with oil executives at the White House,
- 49:42Speaker 12: and they were talking specifically about the Strait of Hormuz.
- 49:47Speaker 12: We have Secretary of State Marco Rubio saying as well
- 49:50Speaker 12: that the blockade on the Strait is the equivalent to
- 49:52Speaker 12: an economic nuclear weapon. I think they have determined anywhere
- 49:57Speaker 12: between one and four weeks, the Iranians will have nowhere
- 50:02Speaker 12: to store their oil, which would mean they'd have to
- 50:04Speaker 12: cap those oil wells shut. My understanding, you would know
- 50:08Speaker 12: better than me, if in fact they cap those wells,
- 50:11Speaker 12: the odds of them ever getting the production that they
- 50:14Speaker 12: currently have go down to zero. And they'd be lucky
- 50:18Speaker 12: to get 50 or 60 percent of their current capacity
- 50:21Speaker 12: moving forward when they reopen those wells. Is that about right?
- 50:25Speaker 34: Yeah, those are legacy fields. They're, you know, 40 and
- 50:27Speaker 34: 50 years old, and so they're very different than what
- 50:30Speaker 34: we have in, say, the shale fields in Texas or
- 50:32Speaker 34: New Mexico. And the Secretary is right. This is exactly
- 50:37Speaker 34: a complete straitjacket the Iranians have let themselves get put in.
- 50:41Speaker 34: You have pressurization issues. You have water issues with those wells.
- 50:45Speaker 34: And the other challenge they have is, frankly, they lose
- 50:47Speaker 34: market share. They literally just lose market share because, as
- 50:50Speaker 34: we just mentioned earlier... The Emirates could easily backfill another
- 50:54Speaker 34: 1.5 million barrels a day. So the longer this goes on,
- 50:57Speaker 34: it is really tough for the Iranians. They've got a
- 51:01Speaker 34: decision to make here because if you don't have oil
- 51:03Speaker 34: revenues coming in, then you don't have the ability to
- 51:06Speaker 34: purchase on the market exports that you need. And frankly,
- 51:08Speaker 34: you don't have the opportunity to pay your security forces
- 51:11Speaker 34: or to fund your proxies. And the president sees the
- 51:14Speaker 34: absolute big picture in this, which is it's not just
- 51:17Speaker 34: about Iran, but it's about Lebanon. It's about the Houthis.
- 51:21Speaker 23: It's about China.
- 51:22Speaker 34: And I got to hand it to him. He has
- 51:24Speaker 34: a long view on this thing. And you see that
- 51:26Speaker 34: starting with Venezuela, and you see what's going to play
- 51:28Speaker 34: out with China over the next.
- 51:29Speaker 33: Couple of weeks, I think.
- 51:30Speaker 12: What do you think, Daniel, about OPEC? Because, you know,
- 51:33Speaker 12: the idea that OPEC could be fracturing, and maybe the
- 51:37Speaker 12: UAE realizes we're probably never going to see a $ 100
- 51:41Speaker 12: a barrel war. for oil in the future. Might as
- 51:44Speaker 12: well cash in now while we can. Is that their thinking?
- 51:48Speaker 12: Is it that they want fierce independence? I don't think
- 51:52Speaker 12: they're doing this because they want to produce less. I
- 51:54Speaker 12: think they're doing it because they want to produce more.
- 51:57Speaker 23: A hundred percent. But I do think on like a
- 52:00Speaker 23: larger world philosophical level, there are these legacy institutions that
- 52:06Speaker 23: seem to have outlived their purpose, right? We look at
- 52:08Speaker 23: our relationship with the United Nations, for example, and we
- 52:11Speaker 23: kind of scratch our heads and say, Does it serve
- 52:14Speaker 23: America's interests? Look at countries like Hungary or Poland that
- 52:17Speaker 23: are part of the EU, and they look at Brussels
- 52:19Speaker 23: and they say, our values are not aligned, right? Maybe
- 52:23Speaker 23: OPEC had, like these other bloated legacy organizations, globalist organizations.
- 52:28Speaker 23: has outlived its purpose. Remember, it was started in 1970
- 52:31Speaker 23: for the sole purpose of fighting America. It was not
- 52:34Speaker 23: meant to be friendly competition. This was meant to destroy
- 52:37Speaker 23: America's oil and gas dominance of the world. And it
- 52:40Speaker 23: was fairly successful at it for most of the Carter years,
- 52:42Speaker 23: as we all remember. But OPEC seems to have outlived
- 52:45Speaker 23: its purpose. And you have people in Dubai saying, wait
- 52:48Speaker 23: a second, we can produce 5 million barrels a day,
- 52:51Speaker 23: but a bunch of guys in Vienna, which is where
- 52:53Speaker 23: OPEC is headquartered, But the guys in Vienna say we
- 52:56Speaker 23: can only produce 3.3.
- 52:57Speaker 33: What the hell is that?
- 52:58Speaker 23: Why did they get to decide our country's future and
- 53:01Speaker 23: our country's sovereignty? And I think countries are looking at
- 53:05Speaker 23: European countries are looking at Brussels with the same head scratch.
- 53:07Speaker 23: We look at New York where the U.N. is headquartered
- 53:10Speaker 23: with the same head scratch. And I think there's a
- 53:12Speaker 23: realignment of national values. And I quite frankly think President
- 53:15Speaker 23: Trump spearheaded that on the world stage.
- 53:18Speaker 12: I mean, in a way, it's a price fixing cartel.
- 53:21Speaker 12: I mean, am I wrong in saying that?
- 53:24Speaker 23: No, not at all. That is its sole purpose. And
- 53:28Speaker 23: they want to produce enough to make it very expensive
- 53:31Speaker 23: to produce oil and gas in America. They have a
- 53:34Speaker 23: much lower profitability point than America does because they don't
- 53:38Speaker 23: have to have things like OSHA and labor unions and
- 53:41Speaker 23: diversity and awareness training. They can use slave labor, which
- 53:44Speaker 23: a lot of Middle Eastern oil fields, quite frankly, do use,
- 53:47Speaker 23: have horrible labor practices. So their profitability level is much lower.
- 53:52Speaker 23: So they just want profit, right? And that's how you
- 53:54Speaker 23: build the world's largest hotel and the world's largest indoor
- 53:57Speaker 23: ski resort, which are all in Dubai. So OPEC has
- 54:00Speaker 23: not been our friend and is not our friend. To
- 54:02Speaker 23: see it splinter and fracture and hopefully die is good
- 54:06Speaker 23: for the world and world peace and world prosperity.
- 54:09Speaker 12: Well, I don't disagree with any of this at all.
- 54:11Speaker 12: All right, quick break more with Tim Stewart, the president
- 54:14Speaker 12: of U.S. Oil and Gas, and Daniel Turner, founder, executive
- 54:17Speaker 12: director of Power of the Future. And then your calls
- 54:20Speaker 12: on the other side, 800-941-SHAWN, our number.
- 54:29Speaker 19: While the mainstream media is asleep at the wheel. Hannity
- 54:35Speaker 19: Watch is on the job, bringing you the news no
- 54:40Speaker 19: one else can.
- 54:43Speaker 1: Sean Hannity.
- 54:53Speaker 12: Hey, I want to talk about Africa for just a second. Now,
- 54:56Speaker 12: hear me out. The African economies have made some very
- 55:00Speaker 12: interesting gains in recent years. They have been strengthening their

- 55:07Speaker 12: to be working they've added 50 billion dollars in value
- 55:11Speaker 12: over the last year alone that's not bad now the
- 55:14Speaker 12: truth is africa is not alone central banks across the

- 57:04Speaker 12: tim stewart and daniel turner are with us um will
- 57:07Speaker 12: the world reconfigure um where and how they're going to
- 57:13Speaker 12: get their energy you know from like I think one
- 57:16Speaker 12: of the biggest mistakes, and I've said this many times,
- 57:18Speaker 12: Tim Stewart, is that Europe is a continent in decline.
- 57:21Speaker 12: And individually, the countries of Europe and our NATO allies
- 57:24Speaker 12: are in decline. And Western Europe in particular is in decline.
- 57:27Speaker 12: They have neglected national security, their own defense needs. They've
- 57:31Speaker 12: been reluctant to pay their fair share to NATO. They've
- 57:35Speaker 12: embraced radical socialism, climate alarmism. And then, of course, you
- 57:39Speaker 12: have unfettered illegal immigration with no assimilation. resulting in Sharia
- 57:44Speaker 12: courts in Great Britain, no-go zones throughout Europe and France
- 57:47Speaker 12: and elsewhere. And I'm not sure that this continent at
- 57:51Speaker 12: this point is going to be able to successfully recover.
- 57:55Speaker 12: I don't see the political appetite to make the changes
- 57:58Speaker 12: to do the things, for example, Donald Trump has done
- 58:01Speaker 12: in terms of illegal immigration in our country. and deporting
- 58:04Speaker 12: people that didn't respect our laws, borders, and sovereignty.
- 58:07Speaker 34: Well, it's interesting, Sean. You know, we actually have kind
- 58:10Speaker 34: of this fortress Western Hemisphere opportunity now between the United
- 58:13Speaker 34: States being the largest producer in the world and our
- 58:17Speaker 34: relationship with Alberta and their production.
- 58:19Speaker 8: What's happening?
- 58:20Speaker 12: What about Venezuela? I mean, we've got this great relationship.
- 58:23Speaker 12: Venezuela is the world's largest producer. We're number two. And
- 58:27Speaker 12: Saudi Arabia is a distant third, no?
- 58:29Speaker 34: Yeah, Venezuela's got the largest reserves, and the interesting thing
- 58:32Speaker 34: is the U.S. oil and gas industry has gone in
- 58:34Speaker 34: and revived the Venezuelan oil industry in a matter of
- 58:37Speaker 34: 90 days, where the chattering class in D.C. was saying
- 58:40Speaker 34: it was never going to happen at all. You have Argentina,
- 58:42Speaker 34: which is now coming online as well. So literally, I
- 58:45Speaker 34: think you would have a production block of countries that
- 58:48Speaker 34: will surpass what OPEC does. And that, again, becomes more
- 58:52Speaker 34: reliable trading partners for Asia and for the Europeans because
- 58:56Speaker 34: there's no straight that can be closed and shut off
- 58:58Speaker 34: the supply. And again, this is to Trump's credit. He
- 59:01Speaker 34: has completely reordered the way we produce and we deliver
- 59:04Speaker 34: energy for the next generation. It is an amazing thing
- 59:08Speaker 34: to watch.
- 59:08Speaker 12: It really is. Daniel, how do you see this playing out?
- 59:12Speaker 23: You know, the future is so bright for this industry.
- 59:15Speaker 23: You look at something like the Alaska natural gas pipeline
- 59:18Speaker 23: that the president was able to get through. It's being
- 59:20Speaker 23: paid for mostly by Southeast Asian countries. Same deal. There's
- 59:25Speaker 23: no straits to go through. There's no piracy to have
- 59:28Speaker 23: to worry about. That just puts Alaska on the map
- 59:30Speaker 23: and it builds our alliances with our allies, with reliable, abundant,
- 59:35Speaker 23: affordable industries. fossil fuels which power the world. So I
- 59:39Speaker 23: think there is a reordering happening. I think we're four
- 59:42Speaker 23: years delayed because of the Biden administration, but we're absorbing that.
- 59:46Speaker 23: And it just shows the importance of every election, because
- 59:49Speaker 23: if we stop this, Sean, it's going to be very
- 59:51Speaker 23: hard to start up again.
- 59:52Speaker 12: All right. Tim Stewart, Daniel Turner, thank you both for

- 1:02:15Speaker 12: part of the program. We've been watching, witnessing, you know,
- 1:02:19Speaker 12: Israel now in a fight for their very survival. And
- 1:02:22Speaker 12: you see that Iran has been targeting Israel. Densely populated
- 1:02:26Speaker 12: areas in Tel Aviv and elsewhere. It's been hell on
- 1:02:29Speaker 12: earth for a lot of people living there. You know,
- 1:02:31Speaker 12: sirens sounding day and night, cluster bombs dropping in neighborhoods.
- 1:02:37Speaker 12: And it's been hard, especially for the elderly. For example, Esther.
- 1:02:40Speaker 12: 84 years old, elderly, fragile, alone, but for the International
- 1:02:47Speaker 12: Fellowship of Christians and Jews, they've been on the ground
- 1:02:50Speaker 12: providing all the humanitarian assistance. 888-488-IFCJ. On the web, it's ifcj.org.
- 1:02:57Speaker 12: That's ifcj.org. Let me go back to our top story
- 1:03:02Speaker 12: from earlier today. We now know that the former FBI director,
- 1:03:07Speaker 12: James Comey, has been indicted yet again. By the way,
- 1:03:12Speaker 12: I talked to Dan Bongino on my podcast about this.
- 1:03:15Speaker 12: We just dropped it this morning. In relation to his
- 1:03:19Speaker 12: 8647 seashell post on Instagram last year, I have no
- 1:03:25Speaker 12: idea what this means, none at all whatsoever. I mean, 8647,
- 1:03:29Speaker 12: I didn't know that meant anything.
- 1:03:31Speaker 35: When you posted this message, 8647, and I said there
- 1:03:36Speaker 35: are different interpretations of it, but one interpretation of it
- 1:03:38Speaker 35: is to end someone or something. Was there anything in
- 1:03:42Speaker 35: the back of your mind that said, maybe I just
- 1:03:45Speaker 35: shouldn't post this?
- 1:03:47Speaker 36: Yeah, no, literally nothing, because it seemed entirely innocent and
- 1:03:50Speaker 36: clever to me. I have never and actually still don't
- 1:03:53Speaker 36: associate 86 with violence. But because I heard that some
- 1:03:57Speaker 36: folks were, whether they do that reasonably or not, I
- 1:03:59Speaker 36: don't want any part of it. And so that's why
- 1:04:01Speaker 36: I took it down from my Instagram account.
- 1:04:03Speaker 12: OK, he was he's full of Adam Schiff, but putting
- 1:04:05Speaker 12: all that aside. But, you know, in this atmosphere where
- 1:04:10Speaker 12: it's a death assassination, assassination culture, it's really beyond frustrating.
- 1:04:16Speaker 12: Here to weigh in on this, the pending election, everything
- 1:04:20Speaker 12: that's been going on, is our friend Mark Halpert is
- 1:04:22Speaker 12: back with us. I know you were at the White
- 1:04:25Speaker 12: House Correspondents Dinner because, you know, after the room had
- 1:04:28Speaker 12: long been cleared, there was a shot of you with
- 1:04:31Speaker 12: three people, and you were in a circle having a
- 1:04:33Speaker 12: pleasant conversation, which was not a bad thing to do,
- 1:04:37Speaker 12: but obviously not an easy night for anybody in that room.
- 1:04:42Speaker 12: What went on from your vantage point?
- 1:04:44Speaker 33: Hungry feedback uh... i didn't read that word that you
- 1:04:47Speaker 33: know i'm i'm uh... american and i'm uh... i'm a
- 1:04:50Speaker 33: dad and and i've been but uh... also reporter uh...
- 1:04:53Speaker 33: and i don't really want to give up the opportunity
- 1:04:55Speaker 33: to talk to folks until the service kicked it out um...
- 1:04:58Speaker 33: i was sitting in the in front of the center
- 1:05:00Speaker 33: of the of the ballroom and Kash Patel was at
- 1:05:03Speaker 33: my table, so I got to watch him deal with
- 1:05:06Speaker 33: the aftermath and dealing with it in the room and
- 1:05:09Speaker 33: then as he left the room.
- 1:05:11Speaker 37: And by the way, can you confirm, I mean, he's
- 1:05:15Speaker 37: been unfairly smeared in all of this, and I know
- 1:05:18Speaker 37: from other people that were with him that within moments
- 1:05:21Speaker 37: he was with the perpetrator and questioning him, and they
- 1:05:25Speaker 37: had this guy in an ambulance on the way, and
- 1:05:27Speaker 37: they were questioning him on the way.
- 1:05:30Speaker 12: And getting information intel and they had more background on
- 1:05:33Speaker 12: this guy within an hours time than anybody has any
- 1:05:36Speaker 12: idea about so.
- 1:05:37Speaker 33: Much so that of course people on the left of
- 1:05:39Speaker 33: all these conspiracy theories about how they they they allowed
- 1:05:42Speaker 33: it to happen or they engineered it i can confirm
- 1:05:45Speaker 33: what he did after he left the table but he
- 1:05:47Speaker 33: was definitely engaged from from the minute it happened and
- 1:05:49Speaker 33: This moment was, for reporters, kind of a paradox because
- 1:05:56Speaker 33: hundreds of reporters in a room with the biggest story
- 1:05:57Speaker 33: in the world and very little cell coverage or Wi-Fi coverage,
- 1:06:02Speaker 33: and most everybody were under the table. I didn't go
- 1:06:05Speaker 33: under the table. My reporter's instinct told me it would
- 1:06:08Speaker 33: be safe to be above, and I wanted to look
- 1:06:10Speaker 33: around and see what was happening. But It was intense,
- 1:06:13Speaker 33: and my main takeaway from the thing is, besides the
- 1:06:15Speaker 33: fact that the agents at that security point did a
- 1:06:18Speaker 33: great job, is the security perimeter should not have been
- 1:06:21Speaker 33: where it was. It should have been at the perimeter
- 1:06:23Speaker 33: of the hotel and not within feet of the ballroom,
- 1:06:25Speaker 33: and I really question that as just a judgment call
- 1:06:29Speaker 33: about how to secure that venue.
- 1:06:31Speaker 12: Well, I have two criticisms, and I think that it's
- 1:06:35Speaker 12: time for a total, complete, top-to-bottom reevaluation of how they
- 1:06:40Speaker 12: handle presidential security. If you look at Butler, if you
- 1:06:44Speaker 12: look at Trump International, and you look at the incident
- 1:06:46Speaker 12: on Saturday night, there's certainly a major failure. Now, I've
- 1:06:51Speaker 12: got to give props to all of the Secret Service
- 1:06:53Speaker 12: people in the room, and you witnessed it up close
- 1:06:55Speaker 12: and personal. They acted, they were all willing to take
- 1:06:59Speaker 12: a bullet for their respective people that they were covering.
- 1:07:03Speaker 12: They sprung into action. They're amazing people. I have nothing
- 1:07:07Speaker 12: but praise for them. However, you mentioned the perimeter. That's
- 1:07:10Speaker 12: one part of the equation. If you go to an
- 1:07:12Speaker 12: RNC convention, a DNC convention, sometimes the first layer of perimeter,
- 1:07:18Speaker 12: and there are multiple perimeters, is a half a mile
- 1:07:22Speaker 12: or longer away. And to get in, you need to
- 1:07:26Speaker 12: show your credentials multiple times. You need to empty your
- 1:07:29Speaker 12: pockets multiple times. You get wanded multiple times. You go
- 1:07:33Speaker 12: through a mag multiple times. Okay, so the perimeter was
- 1:07:36Speaker 12: very short in this particular case. Many people have discussed it.
- 1:07:41Speaker 12: And the second thing is, in each case, they have
- 1:07:45Speaker 12: not effectively swept the areas where a president... former presidential
- 1:07:52Speaker 12: candidate is going to be. Trump International, case in point. Butler,
- 1:07:56Speaker 12: case in point. How does a guy get on a
- 1:07:58Speaker 12: ladder 130 yards away from a president with a long rifle?
- 1:08:02Speaker 12: How is that even possible? At Trump International, those particular
- 1:08:06Speaker 12: golf holes where the president was headed when this one
- 1:08:10Speaker 12: sharp-eyed Secret Service agent saw this guy through the bushes,
- 1:08:13Speaker 12: it was lucky. It was a known place where paparazzi
- 1:08:16Speaker 12: would congregate, Mark.
- 1:08:18Speaker 6: Uh..
- 1:08:18Speaker 12: And they never swept the area never mind sweep and
- 1:08:21Speaker 12: hold the area clear the area and keep it clear uh...
- 1:08:24Speaker 12: that that never happened they didn't do it here either uh...
- 1:08:29Speaker 12: i'm sorry but that is a failure of a magnitude
- 1:08:32Speaker 12: we cannot have in this country if we want to
- 1:08:34Speaker 12: keep our elected officials alive.
- 1:08:36Speaker 33: Agree on your percent and we want the best people
- 1:08:38Speaker 33: to be going to go into elective office because a
- 1:08:41Speaker 33: lot of families who would say i'm not letting my
- 1:08:43Speaker 33: family member in the fact that the ticket did that
- 1:08:45Speaker 33: qr codes The fact that you could get onto the
- 1:08:48Speaker 33: premises and within feet of the ballroom, if you had
- 1:08:51Speaker 33: a Hilton Hotel key envelope, and they didn't check IDs.
- 1:08:57Speaker 33: My ID was not checked. I simply showed them. my ticket,
- 1:09:01Speaker 33: which doesn't have a QR code on it.
- 1:09:03Speaker 12: Well, everybody knows who Mark Halford is. You know who
- 1:09:05Speaker 12: I am, right? I'm Mark Halford.
- 1:09:07Speaker 20: Exactly.
- 1:09:08Speaker 33: Topper Security at Yankee Stadium, Topper Security at most urban
- 1:09:11Speaker 33: high schools. And there's just no excuse for that. And
- 1:09:14Speaker 33: I will say, based on where that guy went, if
- 1:09:17Speaker 33: it had been seven guys with AK-47s and they had
- 1:09:20Speaker 33: stormed that same checkpoint, because the mags he went through,
- 1:09:23Speaker 33: the magnetometers he went through, are much smaller than the
- 1:09:26Speaker 33: main entrance. There's a second entrance, a flight above the
- 1:09:29Speaker 33: ballroom that has a staircase down to the ballroom. If
- 1:09:32Speaker 33: it had been seven guys with high-powered weapons, I shudder
- 1:09:35Speaker 33: to think what would have happened.
- 1:09:37Speaker 12: Well, in a time where we're not funding the Department
- 1:09:39Speaker 12: of Homeland Security and Secret Services under that purview, it's
- 1:09:43Speaker 12: unconscionable to me. And if that's a hill the Democrats
- 1:09:47Speaker 12: want to die on, it's unconscionable. Let me go to
- 1:09:50Speaker 12: this issue. The former FBI director, James Comey. Now, I
- 1:09:53Speaker 12: dropped a podcast this morning with Dan Bongino, and we
- 1:09:57Speaker 12: talked about Comey. He's now been indicted for a second time. And,
- 1:10:01Speaker 12: you know, obviously, 86-47. Now, did you ever believe for
- 1:10:06Speaker 12: one second that he had no idea what that was?
- 1:10:10Speaker 12: I didn't believe him for a second. I think he's
- 1:10:12Speaker 12: a liar. That's my own impression.
- 1:10:15Speaker 33: Yeah, it's hard to know.
- 1:10:16Speaker 10: I mean, it..
- 1:10:17Speaker 12: Is it really hard to know? What does your gut
- 1:10:20Speaker 12: tell you?
- 1:10:21Speaker 33: I don't like to just..
- 1:10:22Speaker 12: You're highly suspicious.
- 1:10:24Speaker 33: I would say I'm at least somewhat suspicious about that.
- 1:10:27Speaker 33: I would say more likely than not he knew, but,
- 1:10:29Speaker 33: you know, I think he's got bigger problems than whether
- 1:10:31Speaker 33: he lied about that.
- 1:10:32Speaker 12: Well, I think the bigger problem is this investigation into
- 1:10:35Speaker 12: a grand conspiracy, which is 11 years, and with all
- 1:10:38Speaker 12: the information that is coming out, and Bongino goes into
- 1:10:41Speaker 12: great detail into this, and he actually believes that people,
- 1:10:46Speaker 12: good people in the FBI, purposely left those burn bags.
- 1:10:50Speaker 12: They purposely left information behind and a trail behind hoping
- 1:10:54Speaker 12: that honest people coming in would find it. He actually
- 1:10:58Speaker 12: told me that.
- 1:10:59Speaker 20: Yeah, could be.
- 1:11:00Speaker 33: I mean, you know, the FBI is interesting. Sometimes they're
- 1:11:03Speaker 33: cast as anti-Trump, sometimes pro-Trump. But the culture there is
- 1:11:08Speaker 33: a tough one, and I think you're going to see
- 1:11:10Speaker 33: more revelations for the last decade of things that have
- 1:11:13Speaker 33: happened at the FBI.
- 1:11:15Speaker 12: You know, you're one of the few people that I
- 1:11:16Speaker 12: feel is objective in the media. You're not like me.
- 1:11:19Speaker 12: You're not a partisan conservative. However, you do fair analysis.
- 1:11:25Speaker 12: And we spoke quite a quite often before the 2024 election.
- 1:11:29Speaker 12: And we were very much on the same page in
- 1:11:31Speaker 12: terms of we actually spent the time. We looked at
- 1:11:33Speaker 12: daily numbers that were coming in for early voting and
- 1:11:37Speaker 12: things that most people in our industry ignored. You said
- 1:11:41Speaker 12: something the other day that caught my attention. When you speak,
- 1:11:44Speaker 12: I kind of pay attention to what you say. And
- 1:11:46Speaker 12: that was that, yeah, for those people that think that
- 1:11:49Speaker 12: this election is over, meaning the midterms, you're out of
- 1:11:52Speaker 12: your mind. Because I don't think what will define the
- 1:11:55Speaker 12: outcome of this midterm has happened yet. I don't think
- 1:11:59Speaker 12: we know. I think a lot of it will be
- 1:12:01Speaker 12: dependent on how the situation with Iran turns out. I
- 1:12:05Speaker 12: think it will turn out favorably. Yeah, it's going on
- 1:12:09Speaker 12: a little bit longer than maybe people anticipated. But it's
- 1:12:13Speaker 12: not going to be a forever war, Mark. I can
- 1:12:15Speaker 12: promise you that. Number one. Number two, what drives elections?
- 1:12:19Speaker 12: Peace and prosperity. And if we have enough runway and
- 1:12:23Speaker 12: the economy is able to recover, gas prices stabilize. And
- 1:12:29Speaker 12: the president's the economic foundation that he laid in the
- 1:12:33Speaker 12: first year of this presidency kicks in. I think that
- 1:12:36Speaker 12: the economy is going to be doing a lot better.
- 1:12:39Speaker 12: And I think that is a game changer. I don't
- 1:12:41Speaker 12: think I don't think what it will define the outcome
- 1:12:44Speaker 12: of those elections happened yet.
- 1:12:45Speaker 33: Well, I agree with you, and Scott Betzen agrees with you.
- 1:12:48Speaker 33: I did a series of interviews with him the last
- 1:12:50Speaker 33: couple weeks, and he says the war won't be forever,
- 1:12:54Speaker 33: as you said, and the economic growth that will be
- 1:12:57Speaker 33: spread around will happen in the third quarter before the midterms.
- 1:13:01Speaker 23: We'll see.
- 1:13:01Speaker 33: I don't know if you saw New York Times in
- 1:13:04Speaker 33: their piece about the midterms, and he said if the
- 1:13:07Speaker 33: election's in May, we'll lose. But it's not in May.
- 1:13:10Speaker 33: And there is time, but the war does have to end.
- 1:13:13Speaker 33: And I know the president wants it to end and
- 1:13:15Speaker 33: is determined to end it. But right now, there are
- 1:13:17Speaker 33: a lot of smart people who support the president who
- 1:13:19Speaker 33: don't see how he gets out of this with the
- 1:13:22Speaker 33: proper result. They're saying it can't happen, but it's not
- 1:13:25Speaker 33: currently on offer.
- 1:13:26Speaker 23: So we'll see.
- 1:13:28Speaker 33: But Republicans have things going for them that could counter
- 1:13:31Speaker 33: the historical norm of doing poorly in the midterms when
- 1:13:35Speaker 33: you control the White House. And we'll just have to
- 1:13:36Speaker 33: see if that environment of peace and prosperity can be
- 1:13:39Speaker 33: part of what they have going for them.
- 1:13:41Speaker 10: You're right.
- 1:13:42Speaker 12: Historical trends are the party in power loses seats in
- 1:13:46Speaker 12: the midterm. I mean, that is a common trait. However,
- 1:13:49Speaker 12: you also are dealing with a very different Democratic Party today,
- 1:13:53Speaker 12: one that is quite radicalized, and I think their rhetoric
- 1:13:57Speaker 12: and I think their lack of a real motivating agenda
- 1:14:00Speaker 12: that resonates with the American people is problematic for them.
- 1:14:03Speaker 33: Thoughts? Well, you know, you typically look at presidential..
- 1:14:07Speaker 12: Let me put it another way. They're crazy, Mark. They're insane.
- 1:14:11Speaker 33: They have a lot of positions that are not popular.
- 1:14:14Speaker 33: And if you look at a presidential, the idea is
- 1:14:16Speaker 33: to make it a referendum, a choice election. Midterms are
- 1:14:19Speaker 33: typically a referendum on the incumbent. James Blair and the
- 1:14:22Speaker 33: other people who work with the president on politics. Their
- 1:14:24Speaker 33: goal is to make it a referendum, not a referendum,
- 1:14:28Speaker 33: but a choice. And they want to say that the
- 1:14:30Speaker 33: Democratic Party is crazy on taxes. They're crazy on trans issues.
- 1:14:34Speaker 33: They're crazy on the border. And if they can pull
- 1:14:36Speaker 33: that off.
- 1:14:37Speaker 12: Let me see. Do you see any policies that really
- 1:14:40Speaker 12: resonate with the American people?
- 1:14:42Speaker 33: Well, there's one policy, therefore, not Trump. Other than that, no.
- 1:14:47Speaker 33: But sometimes in the midterms, historically, that's been enough to
- 1:14:50Speaker 33: just say you want to check on the people in
- 1:14:52Speaker 33: the White House. We'll see if it's enough this time
- 1:14:54Speaker 33: when the president's side will have a lot of money.
- 1:14:57Speaker 33: They've got very good coordination. I think it'll be one
- 1:14:59Speaker 33: of the best coordinated midterm campaigns ever by a White House.
- 1:15:03Speaker 33: And we'll have to see if they can make Democrats
- 1:15:05Speaker 33: pay a price for not having much of a positive
- 1:15:08Speaker 33: agenda and having some policy positions that are very far
- 1:15:11Speaker 33: to the left. We'll see if they can do that. Again,
- 1:15:14Speaker 33: that runs counter to what normally happens in the midterm,
- 1:15:17Speaker 33: where the out party's record and positions are usually not
- 1:15:20Speaker 33: the issue. We'll see, though, and that's their goal. And
- 1:15:23Speaker 33: we'll see some primaries where, you know, in Maine and Michigan,
- 1:15:26Speaker 33: where Democrats might nominate Senate candidates who are too far
- 1:15:30Speaker 33: to the left, I think, to probably win.
- 1:15:32Speaker 12: Quick break, right back more with Mark Halpern on the
- 1:15:35Speaker 12: other side. Toll free, it's 800-941-SHAWN if you want to
- 1:15:38Speaker 12: be a part of the program as we continue.
- 1:15:44Speaker 11: The final hour of the Sean Hannity Show is up next.
- 1:15:48Speaker 11: Hang on for Sean's conservative solutions.
- 1:16:02Speaker 12: Six thousand dollars an ounce. Some experts are predicting this
- 1:16:06Speaker 12: for gold in 2026. That means this year we have
- 1:16:10Speaker 12: all watched gold climb higher and higher over the last
- 1:16:13Speaker 12: few years. A lot of people are asking, OK, what's next?
- 1:16:16Speaker 12: I don't have a crystal ball, but here you go.
- 1:16:19Speaker 12: With the Iran war, rising gas prices, the economic uncertainty,
- 1:16:23Speaker 12: experts are seeing gold prices marching past $ 6, 000 an ounce.
- 1:16:28Speaker 12: JP Morgan is claiming $ 6, 300. And banks don't usually make
- 1:16:32Speaker 12: predictions like that. That might be telling you something. Here's
- 1:16:35Speaker 12: what I want you to do. Reach out to my
- 1:16:37Speaker 12: partners at GoldCo. They will send you for free... their
- 1:16:40Speaker 12: gold and silver guide. They'll show you what you need
- 1:16:43Speaker 12: to know, and then you'll see if you qualify for
- 1:16:46Speaker 12: an extra 10% in bonus gold or silver just for
- 1:16:49Speaker 12: getting started. It's a great deal. Gold Co., I'm a customer.
- 1:16:53Speaker 12: They're a great partner of the show. Give them a call, 855-815-GOLD.
- 1:16:56Speaker 10: That's 855-815-G-O-L-D.
- 1:17:03Speaker 12: The two-way is with us as we analyze what happened
- 1:17:07Speaker 12: Saturday night and all the other political issues of our day.
- 1:17:11Speaker 12: You know, you're a bit of an anomaly in this sense.
- 1:17:15Speaker 12: I think you're an old school kind of, you know,
- 1:17:18Speaker 12: shoe leather, objective guy that does a lot of the
- 1:17:21Speaker 12: hard work behind the scenes. And I bet you probably
- 1:17:25Speaker 12: even get a little pushback for coming on this show.
- 1:17:29Speaker 12: Maybe I'm wrong. If you don't, just tell me.
- 1:17:33Speaker 33: All the people who hate you and would hate my
- 1:17:35Speaker 33: coming on the show, don't listen to it. I don't
- 1:17:36Speaker 33: even know.
- 1:17:39Speaker 12: You're able to hide it? It's sort of like a
- 1:17:41Speaker 12: covert operation when you come on?
- 1:17:44Speaker 33: It's probably an overlap. No Venn diagram overlap, but.
- 1:17:49Speaker 12: You know, by the way, I have a perfect record.
- 1:17:51Speaker 12: I've never been to a single White House correspondence, and
- 1:17:53Speaker 12: I'm very proud of that record.
- 1:17:55Speaker 33: Yeah, it's a good record to have. You know, there's
- 1:17:57Speaker 33: pros and cons to going. I live in New York,
- 1:18:00Speaker 33: and I have for years, so it's an opportunity for
- 1:18:02Speaker 33: me to do some wholesale business and see a lot
- 1:18:05Speaker 33: of D.C.
- 1:18:05Speaker 22: People.
- 1:18:05Speaker 33: So I don't mind going.
- 1:18:07Speaker 12: Yeah, did you run into Liberal Joe, your old buddy?
- 1:18:11Speaker 33: He didn't go.
- 1:18:12Speaker 12: Oh, he didn't go either. Nobody wants to see him anyway.
- 1:18:16Speaker 12: Who cares? It really doesn't matter. I'll say the things
- 1:18:20Speaker 12: you want to say but won't work. Don't worry. I'll
- 1:18:22Speaker 12: take care of you.
- 1:18:23Speaker 20: Excuse me, Jeff Scarborough.
- 1:18:24Speaker 33: Who do you mean?
- 1:18:26Speaker 12: Who's he?
- 1:18:27Speaker 37: I don't know.
- 1:18:27Speaker 12: You mean the guy that once claimed to be a
- 1:18:29Speaker 12: conservative from Pensacola in the panhandle of Florida and now
- 1:18:33Speaker 12: claims he's still the same guy and he's working at
- 1:18:35Speaker 12: MSDNC peddling anti-Trump hate every second of every day, that guy? Unbelievable.
- 1:18:41Speaker 12: I don't know what happened to him. Anyway, we appreciate you,
- 1:18:45Speaker 12: Mark Halperin. Thank you, my friend.
- 1:18:46Speaker 8: Sean, great to be on.
- 1:18:47Speaker 33: Thank you, man.
- 1:18:48Speaker 8: Bye-bye.
- 1:18:49Speaker 38: 800-950-8000.
- 1:18:50Speaker 12: 800-941-SEAN if you want to be a part of the program.
- 1:18:52Speaker 21: Hey, there's still a lot more ahead on the best
- 1:18:55Speaker 21: of the Sean Hannity Show. Stay tuned for more right
- 1:18:57Speaker 21: after news on this station. Hey, when you hear news
- 1:19:03Speaker 21: about Israel, it is easy to think of headlines, politics. Oh,
- 1:19:08Speaker 21: just another conflict far away.
- 1:19:10Speaker 7: No.
- 1:19:10Speaker 12: This is very real. They're in a fight for their survival. Now,
- 1:19:14Speaker 12: anti-Semitic attacks in the Holy Land, across the globe. It
- 1:19:17Speaker 12: is sad. Its rise is frightening. You have elderly Holocaust survivors.
- 1:19:22Speaker 12: They have endured so much. Now, again, fearing for their lives. Now,
- 1:19:26Speaker 12: Jewish families praying for freedom to worship and safety and security.
- 1:19:30Speaker 12: In moments like these, not only does your voice matter,
- 1:19:33Speaker 12: but your generosity matters. The IFCJ, the International Fellowship of
- 1:19:38Speaker 12: Christians and Jews, are providing all the humanitarian assistance on
- 1:19:42Speaker 12: the ground, but they need your help. And they provide
- 1:19:45Speaker 12: food and water and shelter and clothing and medications, and
- 1:19:49Speaker 12: they even have mobile medical clinics for the elderly that
- 1:19:52Speaker 12: can't get out of their homes. Go to their website, PrayIFCJ.org.
- 1:19:57Speaker 12: That's PrayIFCJ.org, and you can go there and submit a
- 1:20:01Speaker 12: prayer today.
- 1:20:02Speaker 39: If you want unlimited talk, text, and data on a
- 1:20:05Speaker 39: super fast network, Big Wireless will sell it to you
- 1:20:08Speaker 39: right now for as little as $ 70 a month. Or
- 1:20:12Speaker 39: you can buy it from Pure Talk for half of that.
- 1:20:15Speaker 39: I'm talking about unlimited talk, text, and data for just
- 1:20:19Speaker 39: $ 34. 99 a month. But wait, there's more. When you switch
- 1:20:23Speaker 39: to Pure Talk, you'll be switching to an American wireless
- 1:20:26Speaker 39: company that's committed to keeping 100% of its customer service
- 1:20:31Speaker 39: in this country. I appreciate that. In fact, that's why
- 1:20:35Speaker 39: I switched. I also appreciate the way they support our
- 1:20:37Speaker 39: vets and our skilled workforce. Dial pound 250, say micro,
- 1:20:43Speaker 39: and get unlimited talk, text, and unlimited data for just
- 1:20:48Speaker 39: $ 34. 99 a month. That's pound 250 micro. Stop paying twice
- 1:20:53Speaker 39: what you need to pay for the service you want
- 1:20:56Speaker 39: and switch to an American wireless company.
- 1:21:02Speaker 40: From ABC News, I'm Lindsay Davis, anchor of Prime Streaming
- 1:21:07Speaker 40: Weeknights on ABC News Live. After the big getaway, it's
- 1:21:10Speaker 40: the big getback. A record number of people are traveling
- 1:21:13Speaker 40: back from Memorial Day destinations. On the roads, 39 million,
- 1:21:17Speaker 40: AAA estimates. ABC's Elizabeth Schulze says gasoline prices are at
- 1:21:21Speaker 40: record highs in more than a dozen states, according to GasBuddy.
- 1:21:24Speaker 26: Right now, that national average is still about 50 cents
- 1:21:27Speaker 26: away from its all-time high of.
- 1:21:29Speaker 6: $ 5 a gallon.
- 1:21:30Speaker 40: The Wall Street markets were closed for Memorial Day. Stock
- 1:21:33Speaker 40: futures went up and oil prices went down after President
- 1:21:36Speaker 40: Trump mentioned progress in talks with Iran. ABC's Ian Pannell
- 1:21:40Speaker 40: is in Tel Aviv.
- 1:21:40Speaker 28: Iran still has that material despite all the bombing. It
- 1:21:44Speaker 28: still retains the ability to make more uranium. And that
- 1:21:48Speaker 28: is a sticking point.
- 1:21:49Speaker 40: Good news for the 50,000 people evacuated in Orange County, California.
- 1:21:53Speaker 40: Fire officials say a crew has cut the risk of
- 1:21:56Speaker 40: a major explosion at a damaged toxic chemical camp and
- 1:21:59Speaker 40: in aircraft plant in Garden Grove. ABC's Alex Stone in Cyprus.
- 1:22:03Speaker 29: Doesn't mean that there are no threats around any longer
- 1:22:06Speaker 29: of vapor or of leak or a much smaller explosion,
- 1:22:10Speaker 29: but things are looking a whole lot better here right now.
- 1:22:13Speaker 29: They hope to get the evacuation perimeter down a bit
- 1:22:16Speaker 29: in the next couple of hours.
- 1:22:17Speaker 10: It remains in place right now.
- 1:22:19Speaker 40: Protesters today near a migrant detention center in New Jersey
- 1:22:22Speaker 40: claim ICE is preventing them from seeing their loved ones.
- 1:22:24Speaker 6: While attempting to tour the Delaney Hall Migrant Detention Facility
- 1:22:28Speaker 6: in Newark, New Jersey Governor Mikey Sherrill says..
- 1:22:30Speaker 16: We've been working with ICE to get into the facility.
- 1:22:34Speaker 14: I was just denied that.
- 1:22:36Speaker 6: Senator Andy Kim visited Delaney Hall over the weekend, speaking
- 1:22:39Speaker 6: with those inside. There is a woman that was pregnant
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: that says she's not getting full. OBGYN care.
- 1:22:46Speaker 27: There's a woman that had a miscarriage that said that
- 1:22:48Speaker 27: she did not get the care that she needed.
- 1:22:50Speaker 6: Delaney Hall is privately run with about 300 detainees. Mike Daboski,
- 1:22:55Speaker 6: ABC News.
- 1:22:56Speaker 40: You're listening to ABC News.
- 1:23:14Speaker 3: Well, we're coming to your city. Gonna play our guitars
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: and sing you a country song.
- 1:23:22Speaker 9: We'll all be.
- 1:23:23Speaker 4: Flying higher than a jetliner. And if you want a
- 1:23:29Speaker 4: little bang in your yin-yang, come along.
- 1:23:32Speaker 30: In the new Congress, we're going to have to do
- 1:23:33Speaker 30: something about this Supreme Court. And let me be very clear.
- 1:23:36Speaker 30: Everything is on the table. everything to deal with this
- 1:23:40Speaker 30: corrupt MAGA majority.
- 1:23:43Speaker 13: No, but you don't have excuse me.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: You do not have the.
- 1:23:46Speaker 31: Right to say climate change does not exist, that it's
- 1:23:49Speaker 31: a hoax. And that's where this administration is coming from.
- 1:23:52Speaker 15: Do you not believe them when they say death to America?
- 1:23:55Speaker 32: Listen, our adversaries use rhetoric all the time.
- 1:23:58Speaker 8: Freedom is back in style.
- 1:24:01Speaker 33: Welcome.
- 1:24:03Speaker 8: Revolution.
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: More behind-the-scenes information on breaking news and more bold, inspired
- 1:24:11Speaker 3: solutions for America.
- 1:24:24Speaker 12: Thanks, Scott Shannon. Hour 2, Sean Hannity Show, toll free.
- 1:24:28Speaker 12: It is 800-941-SEAN if you want to be a part
- 1:24:31Speaker 12: of the program. There are certain moments, congressional hearings, that
- 1:24:36Speaker 12: are so spectacular. I'm going to take the time to
- 1:24:40Speaker 12: actually play the full exchange. This is the EPA administrator,
- 1:24:45Speaker 12: Lee Zeldin, just absolutely eviscerating Congresswoman rosa deloro of connecticut
- 1:24:53Speaker 12: i mean it is it is a beat down of
- 1:24:56Speaker 12: all beat downs it is so bad um let me
- 1:24:59Speaker 12: play it in full on the other side of it
- 1:25:02Speaker 12: we will get uh epa director uh lee zeldin's take
- 1:25:05Speaker 12: on this listen listen to this you're going to love it.
- 1:25:09Speaker 31: When climate change is flooding our streets poisoning our air
- 1:25:14Speaker 31: driving up health care and disaster cuts. How can the
- 1:25:17Speaker 31: EPA justify abandoning that duty to protect Americans to appease
- 1:25:22Speaker 31: polluters under the false flag of economic growth?
- 1:25:25Speaker 18: Following the law, Section 202 of the Clean Air Act,
- 1:25:27Speaker 18: where does it say anything about fighting global climate change?
- 1:25:31Speaker 18: Loper Bright, Supreme Court case, you familiar with it?
- 1:25:34Speaker 13: No, maybe others are not, but let me ask.
- 1:25:37Speaker 18: But that's really important. As a member of Congress, Loper
- 1:25:39Speaker 18: Bright says that we as an agency... don't have the
- 1:25:43Speaker 18: authority to get creative. If Section 202 of the Clean
- 1:25:46Speaker 18: Air Act..
- 1:25:46Speaker 31: No, but you don't have, excuse me, you do not
- 1:25:49Speaker 31: have the right to say climate change does not exist,
- 1:25:52Speaker 31: that it's a hoax, and that's where this administration is
- 1:25:55Speaker 31: coming from.
- 1:25:55Speaker 18: I understand you're upset that you don't know what Loper
- 1:25:57Speaker 18: Bright is.
- 1:25:57Speaker 12: Do you know what the major.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: Policies doctrine is?
- 1:25:59Speaker 22: I'm upset because..
- 1:26:00Speaker 18: Do you know what the major policies doctrine is?
- 1:26:02Speaker 10: You're a member of Congress.
- 1:26:03Speaker 18: You should know.
- 1:26:04Speaker 31: Well, you have moved from someone who defended the environment
- 1:26:09Speaker 31: to all of a sudden..
- 1:26:09Speaker 18: I'm very defensive about not knowing the two biggest landmark
- 1:26:13Speaker 18: Supreme Court cases of the last year.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: With regards to your question.
- 1:26:16Speaker 31: You are very defensive about changing your policy and your
- 1:26:20Speaker 31: positions with regard to the environment.
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: Now, do just tell me..
- 1:26:23Speaker 18: Do you want me to tell you what the two
- 1:26:24Speaker 18: biggest Supreme Court cases are of the last few years?
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: This is what I want you to tell me.
- 1:26:28Speaker 20: Michigan versus EPA?
- 1:26:29Speaker 13: Whoa.
- 1:26:30Speaker 20: West Virginia versus EPA.
- 1:26:31Speaker 31: You know, you're here because you need money from us.
- 1:26:33Speaker 31: So halt for the second and wait for the questions
- 1:26:36Speaker 31: and answer the questions.
- 1:26:37Speaker 12: Joining us now, EPA Administrator, our friend Lee Zeldin is
- 1:26:40Speaker 12: with us, sir.
- 1:26:41Speaker 27: Wow.
- 1:26:42Speaker 12: What an exchange. You know, I watched that and then
- 1:26:45Speaker 12: I watched it again and then I watched it again.
- 1:26:48Speaker 12: It was so worth watching. I could not believe the
- 1:26:53Speaker 12: spectacular stupidity of this congresswoman.
- 1:26:57Speaker 41: You know, Sean, I follow a foundational principle of applying
- 1:27:03Speaker 41: the best reading of the law, adhering to the U.S.
- 1:27:07Speaker 41: Supreme Court case in Loper Bright, overturning the Chevron Doctrine.
- 1:27:12Speaker 41: What does that mean? As you well know, in the past,
- 1:27:16Speaker 41: an agency head would be able to look at law
- 1:27:19Speaker 41: and say, well, the law doesn't say I can't, so
- 1:27:22Speaker 41: I guess that means I can't. The Supreme Court also
- 1:27:25Speaker 41: ruled in a case, West Virginia v. EPA, as you know,
- 1:27:28Speaker 41: with the major question doctrine, that if you're going to
- 1:27:32Speaker 41: impose trillions of dollars of regulation, well, maybe there should
- 1:27:35Speaker 41: be a debate and a vote in Congress. Now, it's
- 1:27:38Speaker 41: one thing when there are members of Congress who are
- 1:27:42Speaker 41: somehow bothered by me saying that I will only follow
- 1:27:46Speaker 41: the law, I will only apply the best available reading
- 1:27:49Speaker 41: of the law. It's a whole other level, like we
- 1:27:52Speaker 41: witnessed in this hearing, where you have a member of
- 1:27:55Speaker 41: Congress who's the former chair of the House Appropriations Committee,
- 1:27:57Speaker 41: who wants to be the next chair of the House
- 1:27:59Speaker 41: Appropriations Committee, who has no idea what I just said
- 1:28:03Speaker 41: about any of that, isn't familiar with the cases, the principles.
- 1:28:08Speaker 41: And if you want to go to a no-kings rally
- 1:28:11Speaker 41: on Saturday, you should be aware of the landmark cases
- 1:28:15Speaker 41: of recent years of the Supreme Court that are the
- 1:28:18Speaker 41: preeminent cases to determine separation of power and stopping... bureaucratic
- 1:28:23Speaker 41: regulatory overreach.
- 1:28:25Speaker 12: The fact that she absolutely had no clue to the
- 1:28:29Speaker 12: references you were making in terms of court decisions was spectacular.
- 1:28:34Speaker 12: And by the way, this is not your only great moment.
- 1:28:36Speaker 10: Of the week.
- 1:28:37Speaker 12: You've had a great week so far. There was a
- 1:28:41Speaker 12: moment that was in the House, and then you're talking
- 1:28:43Speaker 12: to Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island, and you just laid
- 1:28:48Speaker 12: him out saying you're not going to take morality lessons
- 1:28:51Speaker 12: from people who join all-white country clubs.
- 1:28:54Speaker 27: Uh..
- 1:28:54Speaker 12: Years ago he said oh yeah we are working on
- 1:28:57Speaker 12: fixing that and and he's still a member of the
- 1:28:59Speaker 12: club wasn't.
- 1:29:00Speaker 42: We're gonna get to talk about matter you even tracking
- 1:29:03Speaker 42: the consumer costs of those.
- 1:29:05Speaker 18: Coal plants are not all this is great so i
- 1:29:07Speaker 18: i don't know where to start with all the the
- 1:29:09Speaker 18: mess of that question do you think that the math
- 1:29:11Speaker 18: is it's better for west virginia if you call if
- 1:29:14Speaker 18: you close down their coal plants And put these people
- 1:29:17Speaker 18: out of work and tell them to learn a code.
- 1:29:19Speaker 18: According to you, in your mind, that's saving West Virginia?
- 1:29:23Speaker 18: Is it saving them on energy access? Is it saving
- 1:29:27Speaker 18: them on jobs? You can talk across me all you like.
- 1:29:29Speaker 18: You are raising costs. We're not going to take morality
- 1:29:32Speaker 18: lessons from people who join all white country clubs.
- 1:29:37Speaker 43: Ouch.
- 1:29:37Speaker 12: Kaboom. That was a great line. And they had nothing
- 1:29:41Speaker 12: to say because what you said is absolutely true.
- 1:29:44Speaker 41: You have this liberal, elitist, Rhode Island Democrat who is
- 1:29:51Speaker 41: preaching to the rest of America why he wants to
- 1:29:56Speaker 41: get his way and shut down reliable baseload power all
- 1:30:01Speaker 41: across the entire country. And the way that he's making
- 1:30:05Speaker 41: his argument is by saying that wind is the cheapest,
- 1:30:10Speaker 41: offshore wind is the cheapest, source of energy that exists
- 1:30:14Speaker 41: and what he doesn't do is factor in all of
- 1:30:18Speaker 41: the added costs because as you and your audience knows,
- 1:30:21Speaker 41: wind doesn't always blow. You have to firm it. There
- 1:30:25Speaker 41: are costs with regards to storing it. And when you
- 1:30:29Speaker 41: look at the all-in costs of wind, all of a
- 1:30:32Speaker 41: sudden all these other forms of baseload power from the
- 1:30:37Speaker 41: gas combined cycle and a lot of the existing power
- 1:30:40Speaker 41: that's out there and more It starts to look a
- 1:30:43Speaker 41: heck of a lot more appealing than the way Sheldon
- 1:30:46Speaker 41: puts his math out there. And you can't get anyone
- 1:30:52Speaker 41: who wants to apply any level of common sense to
- 1:30:54Speaker 41: agree that imposing historic deregulation under President Trump to keep
- 1:31:01Speaker 41: open coal plants and to build new natural gas pipelines
- 1:31:05Speaker 41: and to have more small modular reactors and so much
- 1:31:09Speaker 41: more of that effort to unleash energy dominance... You can't
- 1:31:13Speaker 41: convince me that all that deregulation is going to increase costs.
- 1:31:18Speaker 41: This is exactly what we need to do. That's just
- 1:31:21Speaker 41: for the jobs, for the lower-priced energy, for our way
- 1:31:24Speaker 41: of life, for our national security and our economy. You
- 1:31:26Speaker 41: can't convince me otherwise.
- 1:31:27Speaker 12: Are you aware of the story when Donald Trump was
- 1:31:31Speaker 12: in his first term that he handed then-German Chancellor Merkel
- 1:31:37Speaker 12: a white flag? And she goes, well, what's this? Well,
- 1:31:40Speaker 12: it's the white flag of surrender. And she goes, why
- 1:31:43Speaker 12: are you handing me this? Because you basically have surrendered
- 1:31:46Speaker 12: your autonomy because we all know that the lifeblood of
- 1:31:52Speaker 12: every economy, the world's economy is energy and energy, meaning
- 1:31:57Speaker 12: natural gas, energy, meaning oil, energy, meaning clean burning coal.
- 1:32:02Speaker 12: And they gave in and they decided to get all
- 1:32:05Speaker 12: of their. They spent billions and billions of dollars in
- 1:32:08Speaker 12: a deal with Vladimir Putin, and it's like, well, why
- 1:32:11Speaker 12: are we spending all those money on NATO if you're
- 1:32:13Speaker 12: going into bed with a guy that can turn off
- 1:32:16Speaker 12: the spigot any time he wants?
- 1:32:18Speaker 41: It's such a great point. And Nord Stream 2, that
- 1:32:21Speaker 41: project to build that pipeline, was massively ramping up Germany's
- 1:32:25Speaker 41: reliance on on russia for for generations into the future uh...
- 1:32:31Speaker 41: i remember it at that the ambassador at the time
- 1:32:33Speaker 41: rick grinnell was uh... lobbying hard and the and the
- 1:32:37Speaker 41: president robert at first administration uh... what was right on
- 1:32:40Speaker 41: the money and now you fast forward to twenty twenty
- 1:32:43Speaker 41: six and all across europe where these but big net
- 1:32:48Speaker 41: zero goals are real robbers meet in the road the
- 1:32:53Speaker 41: economic costs are starting to really hit hard and there
- 1:32:57Speaker 41: are elections that will be coming out uh... in europe
- 1:33:00Speaker 41: where the consequences will be felt and similarly to what
- 1:33:03Speaker 41: we have in places like new york california here at
- 1:33:06Speaker 41: home in europe they have set goals deciding in order
- 1:33:11Speaker 41: to protect the environment you have to destroy the economy
- 1:33:14Speaker 41: and they're starting to see their economy a road and
- 1:33:16Speaker 41: people's lives being impacted and it's not too late it
- 1:33:19Speaker 41: is not too late for europe to reverse uh... this
- 1:33:22Speaker 41: damage uh... but you know the times keeps taking down
- 1:33:25Speaker 41: and and And I think the president was really saving
- 1:33:28Speaker 41: Germany from themselves, getting them to cut ties with Russia
- 1:33:33Speaker 41: on Nord Stream 2. God bless them for doing it.
- 1:33:36Speaker 12: Well, I mean, Europe is disintegrating in large part because
- 1:33:38Speaker 12: of unfettered illegal immigration without assimilation. They've neglected national security
- 1:33:43Speaker 12: and defense. They've embraced socialism, climate alarmism. You know, let
- 1:33:47Speaker 12: me play for you, and you referenced this in one
- 1:33:50Speaker 12: of your expos. You know, Al Gore speaking publicly is concerned.
- 1:33:55Speaker 12: If you go back to the 70s, Time Magazine, Newsweek,
- 1:33:59Speaker 12: you know, the coming ice age. And then it became
- 1:34:01Speaker 12: the earth were about to be burned to death. And
- 1:34:04Speaker 12: then they just came up with a generic term, which
- 1:34:06Speaker 12: is climate change. And climate change has evolved into radical socialism.
- 1:34:11Speaker 12: But the predictions that they made about global warming, global freezing,
- 1:34:15Speaker 12: global everything, there'll be no snow on the mountain of Kilimanjaro.
- 1:34:22Speaker 12: Gore predicted in 2009 that the ice-free Arctic summers will
- 1:34:28Speaker 12: have in five to seven years. Kerry worried that the
- 1:34:31Speaker 12: Arctic would be ice-free by 2013. All these ridiculous, asinine
- 1:34:35Speaker 12: predictions never came true. Here's a couple of them. Here's Manhattan.
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: The World Trade Center Memorial would be underwater.
- 1:34:42Speaker 12: Think of the impact of a couple hundred.
- 1:34:44Speaker 44: Thousand refugees, and then imagine a hundred million. We're still
- 1:34:50Speaker 44: putting 162 million tons into it every single day. And
- 1:34:54Speaker 44: the accumulated amount is now trapping as much extra heat
- 1:34:57Speaker 44: as would be released by 600,000 Hiroshima-class atomic bombs exploding
- 1:35:03Speaker 44: every single day on the Earth. That's what's boiling the oceans,
- 1:35:06Speaker 44: creating these atmospheric rivers and the rain bombs and sucking
- 1:35:10Speaker 44: the moisture out of the land and creating the droughts
- 1:35:13Speaker 44: and melting the ice.
- 1:35:14Speaker 12: And meanwhile, they'd have us go broke. you know, being
- 1:35:17Speaker 12: a part of the Paris Climate Accords. Thank God Donald
- 1:35:20Speaker 12: Trump got us out of it. And every one of these,
- 1:35:23Speaker 12: you know, apocalyptic predictions that they made, none of them
- 1:35:26Speaker 12: came true. And they come and go, and then they
- 1:35:28Speaker 12: just make more phony predictions.
- 1:35:30Speaker 41: That's the climate hoax right there. I mean, anyone ever heard,
- 1:35:35Speaker 41: been inside of a casino where you just hear that ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding.
- 1:35:41Speaker 41: They give you that sound to make it sound like
- 1:35:43Speaker 41: everyone's winning. When you listen to Al Gore flipping out,
- 1:35:47Speaker 41: just think of what is happening to his bank account
- 1:35:51Speaker 41: while he's saying it. It is a grift. I've seen
- 1:35:54Speaker 41: it here at the EPA. I canceled almost $ 30 billion
- 1:35:58Speaker 41: of grants last year, and I talked about part of it.
- 1:36:03Speaker 41: One of the pots, Senator Sanders asked me about a
- 1:36:05Speaker 41: $ 7 billion pot through the Inflation Expansion Act that was
- 1:36:10Speaker 41: called Solar for All. I pointed out that there were
- 1:36:13Speaker 41: up to four pass-throughs in order to get the money
- 1:36:17Speaker 41: to the grantee, where each of the pass-throughs was getting
- 1:36:19Speaker 41: at least 15%. We found all sorts of funding where
- 1:36:24Speaker 41: it would go through left-wing NGOs that didn't even exist
- 1:36:28Speaker 41: before this new pot was created, and they were staffed
- 1:36:31Speaker 41: up with former Biden and Obama officials and Democrat donors.
- 1:36:36Speaker 41: All the quotes you just read, the clips you just played,
- 1:36:38Speaker 41: that's the hoax. And Americans are getting smart on it.
- 1:36:42Speaker 12: All right, quick break. More with EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin
- 1:36:46Speaker 12: on the other side. Then we'll get your calls in

- 1:38:26Speaker 12: as a beacon of hope for those who have sacrificed everything.
- 1:38:30Speaker 12: for our nation now these communities are committed to helping
- 1:38:33Speaker 12: veterans achieve stability and independence by providing safe housing and

- 1:39:10Speaker 12: number 2, the letter T.org for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
- 1:39:23Speaker 12: All right, we continue. EPA Administrator, our friend Lee Zeldin
- 1:39:26Speaker 12: is with us. What a week he's had. Let me
- 1:39:29Speaker 12: ask you an unrelated question because I really think you
- 1:39:33Speaker 12: would have been a great governor in the state of
- 1:39:35Speaker 12: New York. And unfortunately, the math just simply doesn't work.
- 1:39:39Speaker 12: Too many people like me have packed my bags and
- 1:39:43Speaker 12: I have left.
- 1:39:44Speaker 10: I'm done. I'm gone.
- 1:39:45Speaker 12: It's forever. I've been gone for years now. And look
- 1:39:49Speaker 12: at the recent brouhaha with Ken Griffin and Marxist commie
- 1:39:54Speaker 12: Mamdani trying to embarrass Ken Griffin. And Ken Griffin's now saying, well,
- 1:39:58Speaker 12: I may not invest the $ 6 billion I was planning
- 1:40:01Speaker 12: to invest in New York now. I don't think you
- 1:40:03Speaker 12: can take Kathy Hochul at her word at all. I
- 1:40:07Speaker 12: love Bruce Blakeman. I think he'd be a great governor.
- 1:40:09Speaker 12: I knew you would have been a great governor. Both
- 1:40:11Speaker 12: of you would be great governors. However, I'm not sure
- 1:40:14Speaker 12: it's possible. you know with new york and and the
- 1:40:17Speaker 12: mass migration out of that state.
- 1:40:19Speaker 41: Well i would say a couple things that uh... that
- 1:40:22Speaker 41: work in the bruce blakeman's favor one is over the
- 1:40:25Speaker 41: course last four years since i ran for governor republican
- 1:40:28Speaker 41: registration is actually up conservative party registration is up i
- 1:40:32Speaker 41: know we're minus uh... one sean hannity uh... the the
- 1:40:36Speaker 41: independence uh... that registrations up the democratic.
- 1:40:39Speaker 12: Losing sean hannity was a big loss i'm.
- 1:40:42Speaker 41: Kidding And it really is, when you talk about, you
- 1:40:48Speaker 41: used reference Ken Griffin, when you talk about these people leaving,
- 1:40:52Speaker 41: it's not like they're putting New York in timeout for
- 1:40:55Speaker 41: six months. They're leaving permanently for good, and they're not
- 1:40:58Speaker 41: looking back. And it's whether you're a low-income, middle-income, or
- 1:41:02Speaker 41: high-income earners, people are mobile, their money goes further. If
- 1:41:05Speaker 41: they go elsewhere, they'll feel safer, they live life freer,
- 1:41:10Speaker 41: and they are gone. One other thing, though, when I
- 1:41:13Speaker 41: ran in 22, yeah, we came up a bit short,
- 1:41:17Speaker 41: but because we were running as hard as we did, fortunately,
- 1:41:21Speaker 41: when Joe Biden was going through that second half of
- 1:41:24Speaker 41: his term, he didn't do it with Democrat rule in Congress.
- 1:41:30Speaker 12: Honestly, you single-handedly probably gave the Republicans the majority. I
- 1:41:35Speaker 12: don't think probably. I think you single-handedly carried enough Republicans
- 1:41:39Speaker 12: over the finish line to give them the slim majority.
- 1:41:42Speaker 12: I really believe that. I do have to run, though.
- 1:41:44Speaker 12: You're doing a great job. I'm not sure what's next
- 1:41:47Speaker 12: for you, but I'm sure it's going to be big.
- 1:41:49Speaker 12: EPA administrator, our friend Lee Zeldin is with us. Great
- 1:41:52Speaker 12: job this week. You've had a hell of a week.
- 1:41:54Speaker 12: You have a lot to celebrate this weekend. Thank you, sir.
- 1:41:57Speaker 45: Thanks, Sean.
- 1:41:57Speaker 41: Take care.
- 1:41:58Speaker 12: 800-941-SEAN is our number if you want to be a
- 1:42:00Speaker 12: part of the program. Everybody needs a home security system.
- 1:42:04Speaker 12: You don't want a reactive system, one that, you know,
- 1:42:06Speaker 12: you get a call from your alarm company.
- 1:42:08Speaker 20: Mr.
- 1:42:09Speaker 12: And Mrs.
- 1:42:10Speaker 7: Smith.
- 1:42:10Speaker 12: Somebody broke into your home. We're just informing you of
- 1:42:13Speaker 12: what has happened. That's reactive. No, you want a proactive system,
- 1:42:18Speaker 12: and that is comprehensive protection, not just a camera. You
- 1:42:22Speaker 12: want an ecosystem of sensors, AI cameras. You want them
- 1:42:27Speaker 12: inside your home. You want them outside your home. They
- 1:42:30Speaker 12: have active guard outdoor protection. That means 24-7 live professional monitors.
- 1:42:36Speaker 12: Tap off simplisafe.com slash Hannity. There's no safe like SimpliSafe.
- 1:42:41Speaker 12: When we come back, more of the best of the
- 1:42:43Speaker 12: Sean Hannity Show. Stay tuned. Personal safety is about more
- 1:42:54Speaker 12: than protection. It's about peace of mind. Our friends at Berner,
- 1:42:57Speaker 12: they're the world leader in less lethal personal defense. Right now,
- 1:43:02Speaker 12: they're offering $ 100 off the powerful, the proven Berner LE

- 1:45:09Speaker 10: Welcome to the Bet365 Guardians warm-up show. Tonight, from Progressive Field,
- 1:45:14Speaker 10: downtown Cleveland, it's the Guardians and the Washington Nationals in
- 1:45:19Speaker 10: the opening game of a three-game series and the start
- 1:45:22Speaker 10: of a six-game homestand for the Guardians. Jim Rosenhouse, along
- 1:45:26Speaker 10: with you, for about a half hour prior to tonight's
- 1:45:29Speaker 10: first pitch on this Memorial Day Monday evening. Good night
- 1:45:33Speaker 10: shaping up for baseball and the Guardians trying to stay
- 1:45:36Speaker 10: red-hot after a tremendous road trip that saw them go
- 1:45:39Speaker 10: 6-1 over four games in Detroit and three in Philadelphia,
- 1:45:45Speaker 10: including yesterday's 3-1 victory over the Phillies. Cleveland now four
- 1:45:49Speaker 10: and a half games ahead of the second-place White Sox,
- 1:45:52Speaker 10: the Guardians atop the American League Central Division, while Washington
- 1:45:56Speaker 10: is one of the surprise teams in baseball this year
- 1:46:00Speaker 10: after taking two out of three from Atlanta over the weekend.
- 1:46:03Speaker 10: In Atlanta, the Nationals come in at the 500 mark
- 1:46:07Speaker 10: at 27-27, and they are the second-place team in the
- 1:46:11Speaker 10: National League East. Stay tuned. We'll have more to come
- 1:46:15Speaker 10: after this. Welcome back to the Bet365 Guardians warm-up show.
- 1:46:27Speaker 10: Guardians hosting the Nationals tonight here at Progressive Field. Great
- 1:46:31Speaker 10: to be home, but the road was kind to the
- 1:46:33Speaker 10: Guardians as they played great baseball away from home. going
- 1:46:37Speaker 10: 6-1 on their road trip to Detroit and Philadelphia. Big Keys, well,
- 1:46:42Speaker 10: they allowed only 12 runs total in the seven games played.
- 1:46:46Speaker 10: That's a Major League Baseball best for the week gone by.
- 1:46:49Speaker 10: Earned run average of 1.43. They allowed just 10 runs
- 1:46:54Speaker 10: earned the whole trip. And over those final four games,
- 1:46:58Speaker 10: including the last one in Detroit, and the three over
- 1:47:00Speaker 10: the weekend in Philadelphia. They allowed just five runs in
- 1:47:05Speaker 10: 35 innings. Just terrific work. A lot of it out
- 1:47:08Speaker 10: of the bullpen, which since April the 18th has been
- 1:47:13Speaker 10: the best in Major League Baseball earned run average-wise. Stay
- 1:47:17Speaker 10: with us. We'll have more to come after this.
- 1:47:19Speaker 7: Here's the Bet365 Minute, where winning is everything, with Scott Davidson.
- 1:47:24Speaker 45: Let's check the numbers. Guardians back home. They're $ 1. 80 favored
- 1:47:27Speaker 45: over the Nats today. Total is eight. I don't like
- 1:47:29Speaker 45: the late prices this big, but I really like Cleveland today,
- 1:47:32Speaker 45: and I'm going to play them as my play of
- 1:47:34Speaker 45: the day.
- 1:47:34Speaker 1: Here's why. Zach Littell on the hill for Washington.
- 1:47:37Speaker 45: On the road, 12 earned runs, 22 hits, eight home runs,
- 1:47:41Speaker 45: six walks in just 17 and two-thirds innings. The Nats'
- 1:47:44Speaker 45: bullpen isn't good either, and today is.
- 1:47:46Speaker 12: The day for Tanner Bybee.
- 1:47:48Speaker 1: Looking for his first win of the year, he gets
- 1:47:50Speaker 1: it today. At home, he's been excellent.
- 1:47:51Speaker 45: He's got a 2.10 ERA with just eight earned runs
- 1:47:55Speaker 45: allowed and 34 in the third innings at home. I'm
- 1:47:57Speaker 45: going Guardians Moneyline, my play of the day. Now, you
- 1:48:00Speaker 45: can join me when you download the Bet365 app. Remember,
- 1:48:03Speaker 45: you bet this or any Moneyline all season long, your
- 1:48:06Speaker 45: team ever goes up by five runs or more, you
- 1:48:08Speaker 45: win even if they don't.
- 1:48:09Speaker 20: It's the MLB Early Payout.
- 1:48:10Speaker 12: Terms and conditions apply.
- 1:48:12Speaker 1: And that's a Bet365 Minute. I'm Scott Davidson.
- 1:48:14Speaker 7: Gambling problem call 1-800-MY-RESET 21 plus only must be physically
- 1:48:18Speaker 7: located in Ohio.
- 1:48:21Speaker 10: Welcome back to guardians warm-up kate smith's joining us on
- 1:48:24Speaker 10: a great roll you got another save yesterday kate and
- 1:48:27Speaker 10: um you look at how your season has gone it
- 1:48:30Speaker 10: it seemed like it took a little bit to get
- 1:48:32Speaker 10: where you like to be what are some of the
- 1:48:34Speaker 10: keys lately that that's allowed you to have some real
- 1:48:36Speaker 10: good success.
- 1:48:37Speaker 47: I mean, I think as a whole, our bullpen's really
- 1:48:40Speaker 47: settling in and pitching well. I think our identity and
- 1:48:43Speaker 47: our culture is really solidifying there, and that's been fun
- 1:48:45Speaker 47: to watch. As far as me individually, there's been some
- 1:48:48Speaker 47: mechanical tweaks and things and just feeling like I'm getting
- 1:48:52Speaker 47: tuned up to how I want to be most efficient
- 1:48:54Speaker 47: on the mound, and that's been a big part of it.
- 1:48:57Speaker 10: You've had great seasons, but is every season new when
- 1:49:00Speaker 10: you come out of spring training to try and find
- 1:49:02Speaker 10: that good groove and the things that make you what
- 1:49:04Speaker 10: you are? For sure.
- 1:49:06Speaker 47: I mean, I think that Over the course of each offseason,
- 1:49:08Speaker 47: you're trying to learn things, trying to develop things, trying
- 1:49:10Speaker 47: to continue to improve, so you're not going to be
- 1:49:12Speaker 47: just rinsing and repeating and putting out the same exact
- 1:49:16Speaker 47: pitcher on the mound year after year after year. There's
- 1:49:18Speaker 47: going to be things that you have to develop and
- 1:49:20Speaker 47: learn and build on, and so that's been.
- 1:49:22Speaker 33: Part of it.
- 1:49:23Speaker 10: And when you look at that part of the game,
- 1:49:25Speaker 10: obviously you'd like to be perfect every time out, but
- 1:49:28Speaker 10: that's impossible. How much enjoyment do you get out of
- 1:49:31Speaker 10: tinkering and trying to find the right spot that gets
- 1:49:34Speaker 10: you to a real good place?
- 1:49:36Speaker 47: Yeah, I think that's one of the exciting things about
- 1:49:37Speaker 47: the game is that it's never the same. It's never
- 1:49:39Speaker 47: the same. Each day is different, right? Each game is different.
- 1:49:44Speaker 47: The way that it's going to shake out is different,
- 1:49:46Speaker 47: and so there's that novelty each day of knowing that
- 1:49:49Speaker 47: this is a new challenge in front of us, and
- 1:49:50Speaker 47: we get to approach it with the work that we've
- 1:49:52Speaker 47: done behind us, but ultimately we get to go out
- 1:49:54Speaker 47: and just compete and let the results settle where they will.
- 1:49:57Speaker 10: When you look at key pitches, I know your splitter
- 1:49:59Speaker 10: comes into play big time. tricky a pitch is that
- 1:50:03Speaker 10: to to keep going in a positive direction and if
- 1:50:05Speaker 10: it is a little bit off how hard is it
- 1:50:07Speaker 10: to get.
- 1:50:07Speaker 47: It back to where you like i think it all
- 1:50:09Speaker 47: comes down mechanically like uh the way if something's wrong
- 1:50:13Speaker 47: with how it's coming out of hand it goes upstream
- 1:50:15Speaker 47: to how i'm moving to get to my release point
- 1:50:17Speaker 47: if if that's out of whack then it's going to
- 1:50:19Speaker 47: come out of hand funky and maybe do some things
- 1:50:21Speaker 47: that are a little unexpected but if my mechanics are
- 1:50:24Speaker 47: repeatable and i i'm you know doing a good job
- 1:50:26Speaker 47: with that then i think it's pretty consistent.
- 1:50:29Speaker 10: And how much of that is is uh the coaches
- 1:50:32Speaker 10: that you have, and then some of the analytics side
- 1:50:34Speaker 10: of it, too, where you can look at technology and
- 1:50:36Speaker 10: figure some things out.
- 1:50:37Speaker 47: The biomechanics and all that, that is huge to rely
- 1:50:41Speaker 47: on the coaches and the analytics. That's a super important part,
- 1:50:44Speaker 47: super helpful tool for me as far as how the
- 1:50:46Speaker 47: split comes out. Specifically, I think that's very field-based.
- 1:50:52Speaker 10: How far back have you gone where it is? that
- 1:50:56Speaker 10: really helps you do what you need to do?
- 1:50:57Speaker 47: Literally since I first signed with Cleveland. Like, there was
- 1:51:00Speaker 47: conversations immediately about how to break down my mechanics, simplify,
- 1:51:04Speaker 47: change things, and lay some big, you know, foundational blocks
- 1:51:07Speaker 47: for me.
- 1:51:08Speaker 20: To build on.
- 1:51:09Speaker 10: You have a fun ball club here. Obviously, we hear
- 1:51:11Speaker 10: it in the background. The bullpen out there, how enjoyable
- 1:51:14Speaker 10: is it to be out there, and who are some
- 1:51:15Speaker 10: of the guys that keep it loose?
- 1:51:18Speaker 47: Oh, it's a ton of fun out there. I mean,
- 1:51:20Speaker 47: every character down there is unique. I mean, they all
- 1:51:22Speaker 47: play a big part of it. Like, Ricky, our bullpen catcher,
- 1:51:25Speaker 47: he plays a big part of it. Caleb plays a
- 1:51:28Speaker 47: big part of it. Erod's in there, too, as well.
- 1:51:30Speaker 47: And then also, obviously, all the guys. I mean, it's
- 1:51:32Speaker 47: a unique combination. We put all those guys together, and
- 1:51:35Speaker 47: it's a ton of fun.
- 1:51:36Speaker 10: And in closing, team playing great baseball. What are you
- 1:51:39Speaker 10: seeing with this team that has you excited about what
- 1:51:41Speaker 10: it could be as the season goes along?
- 1:51:43Speaker 47: I think seeing the resilience and the perseverance is super important.
- 1:51:47Speaker 10: See the tight games.
- 1:51:48Speaker 47: We're not shying away from them, not afraid of them.
- 1:51:50Speaker 47: But then we're going to be able to play our
- 1:51:52Speaker 47: best baseball when we're dealing with pressure and and dealing
- 1:51:54Speaker 47: with those close games and come out on top.
- 1:51:57Speaker 10: Okay, thanks for the time.
- 1:51:58Speaker 20: Thanks for having me.
- 1:51:59Speaker 10: That is Cade Smith, Guardians Closer. Stay tuned, more to
- 1:52:02Speaker 10: come after this.

- 1:53:35Speaker 49: Recently, our company's softball team lost the big game by
- 1:53:38Speaker 49: one run. Then Dale tried to console us with the quote,
- 1:53:41Speaker 49: winning isn't everything.
- 1:53:43Speaker 20: Dale's a loser. I play to win, like early payout

- 1:54:10Speaker 10: 20 minutes away from tonight's first pitch here at Progressive Field.
- 1:54:14Speaker 10: And for the pregame weather forecast, it's from WKYC, and
- 1:54:19Speaker 10: it's presented by Window World.
- 1:54:22Speaker 50: We'll keep some clouds around through the evening and overnight
- 1:54:24Speaker 50: with temperatures down in the 50s, not as foggy tonight
- 1:54:27Speaker 50: and into Tuesday morning. Tuesday will be warmer. We'll be
- 1:54:30Speaker 50: well into the upper 70s, but cooler closer to the lakeshore.
- 1:54:33Speaker 50: Light wind, some clouds will be around, but we look
- 1:54:35Speaker 50: mostly dry through the day. In the 3 News Weather Center,
- 1:54:38Speaker 50: I'm meteorologist Jessica Van Meter.
- 1:54:40Speaker 10: There you go. Nice baseball night shaping up here downtown.
- 1:54:44Speaker 10: Stay with us. When we come back, it's Tom Hamilton
- 1:54:46Speaker 10: and manager Stephen Vogt. The Key Bank Manager Show next.
- 1:55:01Speaker 10: Hi again, everybody, with Cleveland manager Stephen Vogt. This is
- 1:55:04Speaker 10: Tom Hamilton. Welcome. It's the Manager's Show, and it's brought
- 1:55:07Speaker 10: to you by KeyBank.
- 1:55:09Speaker 8: Wow.
- 1:55:10Speaker 10: Six-in-one road trip to Detroit and Philadelphia. Maybe a wow-wow
- 1:55:14Speaker 10: that we even played three games in Philly. But, voter,
- 1:55:17Speaker 10: this ball club is showing everybody that they're for real.
- 1:55:21Speaker 20: Yeah, it was a fun trip.
- 1:55:22Speaker 42: I mean, obviously, anytime you can go into a place
- 1:55:24Speaker 42: like Detroit and win four straight, it's huge. And then
- 1:55:27Speaker 42: you go into a weekend set with the Phillies. and
- 1:55:29Speaker 42: you face those three pitchers, you have no idea how
- 1:55:32Speaker 42: that's going to end up. Our guys stepped up, played
- 1:55:35Speaker 42: great baseball on this road trip, and couldn't be more
- 1:55:37Speaker 42: proud of them.
- 1:55:38Speaker 10: Is some of this a byproduct of what you've gone
- 1:55:40Speaker 10: through a year ago? Are you seeing any residual carryover
- 1:55:44Speaker 10: of what this club accomplished down the stretch and felt
- 1:55:48Speaker 10: maybe they had more in October and got short-circuited a
- 1:55:51Speaker 10: little bit?
- 1:55:52Speaker 23: Maybe.
- 1:55:53Speaker 42: I think a lot of it is just it's a
- 1:55:54Speaker 42: new group. Obviously, we've got a lot of new faces,
- 1:55:57Speaker 42: but this is a confident group. They know they're good
- 1:56:00Speaker 42: and they know they can win. And now what's really
- 1:56:03Speaker 42: happening is they're proving to themselves that we can win
- 1:56:05Speaker 42: in a number of ways. We've slugged some games. We've,
- 1:56:09Speaker 42: you know, guards balled some games. We've, you know, you
- 1:56:12Speaker 42: go shut out for eight innings and you hit a
- 1:56:14Speaker 42: homer in the ninth. But just the more different ways
- 1:56:18Speaker 42: that this group can prove to themselves that they can win,
- 1:56:20Speaker 42: it's going to be a good thing.
- 1:56:22Speaker 10: What is the old adage, the chicken or the egg?
- 1:56:25Speaker 10: How do you get this confidence? Do you have to
- 1:56:28Speaker 10: win games certain ways? Is that how, I mean, you
- 1:56:31Speaker 10: can talk the talk. Do you have to walk the
- 1:56:33Speaker 10: walk eventually?
- 1:56:34Speaker 20: Yeah, you have to win.
- 1:56:35Speaker 42: I mean, anybody can fake confidence, but if you're not winning,
- 1:56:39Speaker 42: it's really hard. And, you know, I think that's the
- 1:56:42Speaker 42: beauty of this group. This group of guys shows up
- 1:56:44Speaker 42: every day expecting to win. that's all we talk about
- 1:56:47Speaker 42: around here, is work hard, prepare, and go out, play,
- 1:56:50Speaker 42: and outwork the other team, and let's shake hands at
- 1:56:53Speaker 42: the end of the night.
- 1:56:53Speaker 10: I think that kid at second base is proving that
- 1:56:56Speaker 10: he's been confident, really, since he got to this country,
- 1:56:59Speaker 10: and that's how Travis Pisano became the star he was
- 1:57:02Speaker 10: at Oregon State, number one pick in the draft, but Hey,
- 1:57:06Speaker 10: everyone's got doubts when you get here. He looks like
- 1:57:08Speaker 10: he's starting to really settle in.
- 1:57:10Speaker 42: Yeah, he's been great since he's gotten here. It really
- 1:57:12Speaker 42: hasn't been a long acclimation for him. I mean, he's
- 1:57:14Speaker 42: been here, what, three weeks, maybe four now, and really
- 1:57:18Speaker 42: hasn't skipped a beat. He's been a really good impact
- 1:57:21Speaker 42: player for us since he got here. And, again, another
- 1:57:23Speaker 42: kid that we're going to continue to push. He's got
- 1:57:25Speaker 42: to continue to work to get better. You're never a
- 1:57:28Speaker 42: finished product in this game, and it's never going to stop.
- 1:57:32Speaker 10: What do you think, guys, like Travis Bozzana and Chase
- 1:57:35Speaker 10: DeLauder didn't know and are learning here when you go
- 1:57:39Speaker 10: through this now for an extended period of time?
- 1:57:41Speaker 42: Well, I had a teammate that said it this way,
- 1:57:43Speaker 42: and I'll say it. It's that the pitchers on the
- 1:57:45Speaker 42: other team drive nice cars, too. You're going to have
- 1:57:48Speaker 42: nights where you're facing Christopher Sanchez or Zach Wheeler, and
- 1:57:52Speaker 42: it's not going to be fun. But you've got to
- 1:57:55Speaker 42: love those nights, and you've got to learn from them.
- 1:57:57Speaker 42: You've got to log those pitches in your Rolodex in
- 1:58:00Speaker 42: your brain and understand, okay, that's what was different about
- 1:58:03Speaker 42: his fastball or his changeup. And That Rolodex is just
- 1:58:06Speaker 42: going to continue to grow and grow and get that
- 1:58:08Speaker 42: experience of I've seen the best.
- 1:58:10Speaker 20: I know what it looks like. And that's just going
- 1:58:12Speaker 20: to help you in the long run. But understanding that there's.
- 1:58:14Speaker 42: Some nights where that guy on the mound is just
- 1:58:16Speaker 42: going to be better than you and that's okay.
- 1:58:19Speaker 10: Well, there is a little bit of down news. Eric
- 1:58:21Speaker 10: Sabrowski on the injured list with the elbow. How bad
- 1:58:24Speaker 10: is this?
- 1:58:25Speaker 20: We don't know. Right now, it's elbow inflammation.
- 1:58:27Speaker 42: He had an MRI earlier today. We should get the
- 1:58:29Speaker 42: results probably during the game tonight, so we should know
- 1:58:33Speaker 42: more tomorrow as far as what the results of the
- 1:58:35Speaker 42: MRI are, but Eric started feeling it the last outing
- 1:58:39Speaker 42: in Detroit, and just the best thing to do right
- 1:58:43Speaker 42: now is to give him a breather. He's been so
- 1:58:45Speaker 42: great for us, and he's pitched a lot, and he's
- 1:58:47Speaker 42: got a lot of history. So we have to do
- 1:58:48Speaker 42: the right thing, the smart thing, and that's to put
- 1:58:51Speaker 42: him on the IL for 15 days.
- 1:58:52Speaker 10: How do you fill that void?
- 1:58:54Speaker 42: Well, everybody, all hands on deck, next guy up. I
- 1:58:56Speaker 42: think that's the beauty of this group. That's the beauty
- 1:58:59Speaker 42: of baseball. You know, no one gets an opportunity without,
- 1:59:03Speaker 42: you know, somebody else kind of having to take a break.
- 1:59:05Speaker 42: So obviously we're, we're feeling for Eric. We're with him.
- 1:59:08Speaker 42: We're going to, our medical staff's the best for a reason.
- 1:59:11Speaker 42: And we'll get more information on that, but Cody Hoyer
- 1:59:14Speaker 42: is going to be back with us and, he's been great.
- 1:59:16Speaker 42: And so next guy up.
- 1:59:18Speaker 10: Can you explain how is Washington in a total rebuild,
- 1:59:22Speaker 10: a 500 club leading all of baseball in runs scored,
- 1:59:27Speaker 10: and they look darn athletic. Anything else we should know?
- 1:59:31Speaker 20: They hit.
- 1:59:33Speaker 42: I mean, they're swinging, they're hacking, they're causing havoc on
- 1:59:37Speaker 42: the bases, they're running all over the place. So We've
- 1:59:40Speaker 42: got our work cut off. We have to take care
- 1:59:42Speaker 42: of the baseball. We have to pitch well and score
- 1:59:44Speaker 42: more runs than them. I know that sounds really elementary,
- 1:59:46Speaker 42: but it's the truth. But as long as we play
- 1:59:48Speaker 42: our game, I like our chances to win a series
- 1:59:50Speaker 42: just like any other series.
- 1:59:52Speaker 10: Cleveland manager Stephen Vogt, Tom Hamilton inviting you to stay tuned.
- 1:59:55Speaker 10: Cleveland and the Nats coming up on the Cleveland Clinic
- 1:59:58Speaker 10: Radio Network. Welcome back to the Bet365 Guardians warm-up show.
- 2:00:10Speaker 10: Time for the pitching matchup as we close in on
- 2:00:13Speaker 10: the 10-minute mark prior to tonight's first pitch. First for
- 2:00:17Speaker 10: the Washington Nationals, they go with an opener tonight. Left-hander P.J. Poulin,
- 2:00:22Speaker 10: he's 3-0 with an earned run average of 3.32. This
- 2:00:26Speaker 10: will be his first appearance in his career against the Guardians.
- 2:00:30Speaker 10: He'll be opposed by Tanner Bybee, the veteran right-hander 0-6,
- 2:00:34Speaker 10: but pitching extremely well. An earned run average of 3.75,
- 2:00:39Speaker 10: and that dropped after his last start. Eight innings of
- 2:00:42Speaker 10: one-run baseball in a no decision against the Tigers, a
- 2:00:45Speaker 10: game that the Guardians eventually won. He's faced Washington once
- 2:00:49Speaker 10: in his career. That was two seasons ago right here
- 2:00:52Speaker 10: at Progressive Field. Six and a third innings, he allowed
- 2:00:55Speaker 10: just one run in recording a win. That's your pitching matchup.
- 2:00:59Speaker 10: That'll do it for Guardians Warm-Up. Stay tuned. We have
- 2:01:02Speaker 10: the starting lineups in the first pitch. They come your

- 2:05:34Speaker 10: the designated hitter. Luis Garcia, Jr., the first baseman, bats second.
- 2:05:39Speaker 10: Curtis Meade at third base will hit third with C.J. Abrams,
- 2:05:43Speaker 10: the shortstop batting cleanup. Dylan Cruz in right field hits fifth.
- 2:05:47Speaker 10: Daylon Lyle, the left fielder, bats sixth. Jacob Young in

- 2:05:56Speaker 10: And Nassim Nunez at second base will hit ninth. On

- 2:07:06Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 2:07:31Speaker 10: From Progressive Field here in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, it is
- 2:07:37Speaker 10: game number 56. Tonight, the Cleveland Guardians and the Washington
- 2:07:42Speaker 10: Nationals will open up this homestand, a three-game series beginning
- 2:07:49Speaker 10: on this Memorial Day holiday. Hi again, everybody. Tom Hamilton
- 2:07:54Speaker 10: with you along with Jim Rosenhouse. We've got Johnny Goldsmith
- 2:07:57Speaker 10: back in the booth with us. And we have Brian
- 2:08:00Speaker 10: Motze of Command Center as the Guardians are back home
- 2:08:03Speaker 10: for a six-game homestand, three with Washington, and then three
- 2:08:07Speaker 10: next weekend with the Boston Red Sox. And for the
- 2:08:12Speaker 10: first time in who knows how long, sunshine here in
- 2:08:15Speaker 10: Northeast Ohio and sunshine for the Cleveland baseball team after
- 2:08:20Speaker 10: a weekend that just saw fog, rain, low ceilings and
- 2:08:26Speaker 10: tons of rain in Philadelphia. Yeah, it's cool here on
- 2:08:30Speaker 10: the shores of Lake Erie, but we've got blue skies
- 2:08:33Speaker 10: and sunshine overhead for the start of tonight's ballgame. Well,
- 2:08:38Speaker 10: the Washington Nationals and the Chicago White Sox, those two
- 2:08:44Speaker 10: might be the two most surprising teams in all of baseball.
- 2:08:49Speaker 10: You think of the White Sox, they're at. 500. They're
- 2:08:52Speaker 10: in second place in the American League Central, and they
- 2:08:56Speaker 10: trail Cleveland by four and a half games, and I
- 2:08:59Speaker 10: don't think anybody ever envisioned the White Sox getting off
- 2:09:03Speaker 10: to the kind of start that they are off to
- 2:09:06Speaker 10: here in 2026. And the Washington Nationals, much like the
- 2:09:11Speaker 10: White Sox, in a rebuild and off to a tremendous start.
- 2:09:16Speaker 10: They are 27-27, and they too are in second place
- 2:09:21Speaker 10: in their division They reside in the National League's Easton.
- 2:09:25Speaker 10: Believe it or not, they're even ahead of the ball
- 2:09:27Speaker 10: club that Cleveland just faced, the Philadelphia Phillies, and they
- 2:09:32Speaker 10: are trailing the Atlanta Braves by nine ballgames. The umpires tonight,
- 2:09:38Speaker 10: Alfonso Marquez. He's the crew chief and the home plate umpire.
- 2:09:43Speaker 10: Mike Estabrooks at first, Jonathan Parra at second, Lance Barrett
- 2:09:48Speaker 10: at third. The breeze that we have here tonight is
- 2:09:51Speaker 10: blowing in, so it keeps things cool here on the lakefront.
- 2:09:56Speaker 10: And it's 325 down the lines, 370 to left center,
- 2:09:59Speaker 10: 375 to right center, 400 to dead center. The 19-foot
- 2:10:04Speaker 10: wall from the left field corner to center. The 9-foot
- 2:10:07Speaker 10: wall from center to the right field corner. Tanner Bybee
- 2:10:12Speaker 10: leads Cleveland out of the third base dugout. In the
- 2:10:15Speaker 10: red jerseys with the navy blue and the white trim
- 2:10:19Speaker 10: along with the white pants, navy blue and red being
- 2:10:25Speaker 10: predominantly the patriotic colors here today. And we have the
- 2:10:28Speaker 10: same thing. In essence, same color scheme for the Washington Nationals.
- 2:10:34Speaker 10: They're going with the navy blue tops with the red
- 2:10:36Speaker 10: and white trim and the gray pants. And before we
- 2:10:40Speaker 10: go any further, we again always... I want to especially
- 2:10:44Speaker 10: on this Memorial Day thank all of the past, the current,
- 2:10:48Speaker 10: and the future members of our military who enable us
- 2:10:52Speaker 10: to live in this incredible country and enjoy these holidays.
- 2:10:56Speaker 10: We thank all of you for your service in the past,
- 2:11:00Speaker 10: the present, and in the future. And then right along
- 2:11:03Speaker 10: with that, we thank all of the men and women
- 2:11:06Speaker 10: in the fire departments, the police men and police women,
- 2:11:10Speaker 10: our first responders and whatnot. Again, cannot thank all of
- 2:11:15Speaker 10: you enough for all that you do. The rest of us,
- 2:11:18Speaker 10: we get to enjoy this holiday thanks to all of you.
- 2:11:22Speaker 10: And it's the camper of the holiday weekend. And for Cleveland.
- 2:11:27Speaker 10: It's a chance to see if they can play even
- 2:11:29Speaker 10: better than they did on that astounding road trip. Sweeping
- 2:11:33Speaker 10: four in Detroit, taking two out of three in Philadelphia.
- 2:11:37Speaker 10: Cleveland now 32-23 with that four-and-a-half game lead over the
- 2:11:43Speaker 10: White Sox. And right now, only Tampa Bay and New
- 2:11:47Speaker 10: York have better records than Cleveland in the American League.
- 2:11:54Speaker 23: And..
- 2:11:55Speaker 10: That is pretty incredible where you think of Cleveland back
- 2:12:00Speaker 10: when they were on that road trip. Remember that four-game
- 2:12:03Speaker 10: series that Cleveland had in Kansas City, and that takes
- 2:12:09Speaker 10: us right back to the first week in May. Cleveland
- 2:12:14Speaker 10: lost the first two games in Kansas City. We're 18-19,
- 2:12:18Speaker 10: and since that time, Cleveland has gone 14-4 with a
- 2:12:26Speaker 10: team ERA of just a touch above 2.5. It has
- 2:12:30Speaker 10: been remarkable. Tanner Bybee, ready to go to work, and
- 2:12:35Speaker 10: he'll face one of the better young talents in the
- 2:12:38Speaker 10: National League, the DH and left-handed slugger James Wood. Bybee
- 2:12:43Speaker 10: into the windup and tonight's first pitch. And it's in there,
- 2:12:47Speaker 10: a called strike and a curveball. We're underway at the
- 2:12:50Speaker 10: corner of Carnegie and Ontario. Game time temp of 64 degrees.
- 2:12:57Speaker 10: Wood is a big man, spread out at the plate,
- 2:13:00Speaker 10: slightly open. The pitch, and he takes up and in,
- 2:13:04Speaker 10: one and one to count. You look at James Wood.
- 2:13:09Speaker 10: He is 6'6, 250 pounds. And he doesn't even turn
- 2:13:14Speaker 10: 24 until September. What a talent. The kick and delivery.
- 2:13:20Speaker 10: And it's fouled over the screen behind the plate. And
- 2:13:24Speaker 10: James Wood now with a 1-2 count. He is batting. 254.
- 2:13:28Speaker 10: Fourth in the National League with 13 home runs. He's
- 2:13:33Speaker 10: knocked in 34 runs. Leads the National League in walks.
- 2:13:38Speaker 10: Leads and runs scored. Now the pitch to him. And
- 2:13:42Speaker 10: he fouled it back again. So the count remains 1-2.
- 2:13:48Speaker 10: James Wood is also third in the National League in
- 2:13:50Speaker 10: extra base hits. Sixth in OPS at 9-10. Boy, they
- 2:13:56Speaker 10: have two young, tremendous stars in James Wood and C.J. Abrams.
- 2:14:02Speaker 10: Bybee's ready. Here's the 1-2. And it's down and in.
- 2:14:07Speaker 10: Didn't chase. And the pitch... Makes it a 2-2 count.
- 2:14:14Speaker 10: Tanner Bybee has faced Washington one other time and dominated them.
- 2:14:19Speaker 10: Got the win, giving up a run and six and
- 2:14:22Speaker 10: a third. Now the right-hander with the 2-2. Swung on,
- 2:14:27Speaker 10: hammered a deep right center, and this is way out
- 2:14:30Speaker 10: of here. Into the bullpen.
- 2:14:34Speaker 33: Wow.
- 2:14:36Speaker 10: James Wood with his 14th home run. And I mean
- 2:14:40Speaker 10: to tell you, folks, he got a curveball and he
- 2:14:44Speaker 10: didn't miss it. 412 feet to right center. And James
- 2:14:50Speaker 10: Wood with a leadoff home run. That is his team
- 2:14:54Speaker 10: high 14. And as I mentioned before, that is the
- 2:14:59Speaker 10: fourth most in the National League.
- 2:15:03Speaker 6: Wow.
- 2:15:06Speaker 10: Well, this ball club can flat out slug. And there's
- 2:15:11Speaker 10: an example of it. Here's Luis Garcia Jr. He's at first,
- 2:15:17Speaker 10: and he sends one in the air. Deep left field.
- 2:15:20Speaker 10: Martinez is back at the wall. He jumps. It's above him.
- 2:15:24Speaker 10: Bangs off the wall. Retreat by Stephen Kwan. Throw in
- 2:15:27Speaker 10: the second. And a double off the wall and left center.
- 2:15:32Speaker 10: The other way by Luis Garcia Jr. And coming as
- 2:15:37Speaker 10: advertised are the Washington Nationals. James Wood with his fourth
- 2:15:48Speaker 10: leadoff home run of the season. And then Luis Garcia
- 2:15:53Speaker 10: follows with a double. Here's Curtis Meade, fellow Australian. The pitch...
- 2:16:01Speaker 10: And he takes a strike. We've got two Australians here tonight.
- 2:16:04Speaker 10: Of course, Travis Pazana at second base for Cleveland. And
- 2:16:09Speaker 10: Curtis Meade, a right-handed hitter. He's at third base tonight
- 2:16:15Speaker 10: for Washington. Bybee checks second. And the pitch. And it's
- 2:16:20Speaker 10: swung on and missed. So the count quickly, 0-2. So
- 2:16:30Speaker 10: James Wood hit a curveball for a home run. Luis
- 2:16:33Speaker 10: Garcia hit a fastball for the double. Now the 0-2
- 2:16:36Speaker 10: to Curtis Meade. And it's down and away, 1-2. Washington
- 2:16:44Speaker 10: has scored more runs than any team in baseball. Nearly
- 2:16:49Speaker 10: five and a half runs a game. They average a
- 2:16:52Speaker 10: run a game more than Cleveland. They also lead Major
- 2:16:59Speaker 10: League Baseball in doubles. They're seventh in the majors in homers,
- 2:17:04Speaker 10: fourth in OPS. Down to one-two. A swing and a
- 2:17:09Speaker 10: foul at the plate. You look at their team, and again,
- 2:17:13Speaker 10: it's a rebuilding young team. They have a team OPS
- 2:17:17Speaker 10: of 735. It's 43 points higher than Cleveland. Fourth in
- 2:17:24Speaker 10: baseball in OPS, Cleveland 18th. 1-0 Washington. Runner at second.
- 2:17:31Speaker 10: Nobody out in the first. Now the set and the pitch.
- 2:17:36Speaker 10: And it's down low. And the count two and two.
- 2:17:41Speaker 10: Curtis Meade batting 234. Five homers. 17 RBIs. Angel Martinez
- 2:17:48Speaker 10: in left. Stephen Kwan in center. Chase DeLauder in right.
- 2:17:52Speaker 10: Will give you the infield next. Now the 2-2. Swung on.
- 2:18:00Speaker 10: Pulled foul. And had the third base coach dancing. Victor Estevez.
- 2:18:08Speaker 10: On the dirt. Kyle Manzardo at first, Travis Pazana at second,
- 2:18:12Speaker 10: Ryan Rocchio at short, Jose Ramirez at third, and Patrick
- 2:18:17Speaker 10: Bailey doing the catching. Again, the 2-2 delivery from Tanner Bybee.
- 2:18:24Speaker 10: And it's swung on, hit deep left field. Martinez is
- 2:18:27Speaker 10: going to look up and watch it fly out of here.
- 2:18:31Speaker 10: A two-run home run to the bleachers and left by
- 2:18:34Speaker 10: Curtis Meade. And it's 3-0 Washington. And Curtis Meade, now
- 2:18:41Speaker 10: one of the thumpers in this lineup. But that ball
- 2:18:46Speaker 10: jumped out of here to the bleachers and left in
- 2:18:48Speaker 10: a hurry. And for Curtis Meade, that's his sixth home run.
- 2:18:54Speaker 10: It gives him 19 RBIs. And Washington is off to
- 2:19:04Speaker 10: a great start. Here's C.J. Abrams, their all-star caliber shortstop,
- 2:19:11Speaker 10: left-handed batter. Abrams takes, and it's a little bit high
- 2:19:16Speaker 10: for ball one. Abrams comes in here batting 289. 11 homers,
- 2:19:24Speaker 10: and he leads the National League with 45 RBIs. Bases empty,
- 2:19:29Speaker 10: nobody out. And the pitch, down low, 2-0, and Tanner Bybee,
- 2:19:37Speaker 10: who's given up seven home runs coming into tonight's game,
- 2:19:41Speaker 10: has given up two in the first. Abrams having a
- 2:19:46Speaker 10: great year. The pitch, and he takes, and it's a
- 2:19:50Speaker 10: little bit low.
- 2:19:51Speaker 9: 3-0.
- 2:19:56Speaker 10: Abrams batting 289, 11 homers, a league-leading 45 RBIs, fifth
- 2:20:04Speaker 10: in OPS at 918. Now the 3-0 Bullseye. Fastball at
- 2:20:11Speaker 10: 95 and the count 3-1. Abrams was the sixth pick
- 2:20:17Speaker 10: in the entire draft of 2019. High school shortstop out
- 2:20:22Speaker 10: of the Atlanta area.
- 2:20:23Speaker 1: 3-1.
- 2:20:25Speaker 10: Waved at. Full count. Good fastball. Guy on deck, Dylan Cruz,
- 2:20:30Speaker 10: was the second pick in the entire draft three years ago.
- 2:20:39Speaker 10: Now the kick and payoff pitch. Swung on, fouled upstairs.
- 2:20:44Speaker 10: And for Tanner Bybee, a tough time putting away hitters
- 2:20:48Speaker 10: here when he gets to two strikes. And Tanner has
- 2:20:51Speaker 10: already made 20 pitches here in the first inning. Nobody out.
- 2:20:58Speaker 10: Bybee looking for his first win of the season. Into
- 2:21:02Speaker 10: the windup. Here it comes. And he got him swinging.
- 2:21:07Speaker 10: So Tanner Bybee strikes out Abrams. First out here in
- 2:21:11Speaker 10: inning number one. That'll bring up Dylan Cruz. Dylan Cruz
- 2:21:19Speaker 10: has spent most of the year in AAA Rochester. He's
- 2:21:23Speaker 10: only played in six games with Washington. Hitting. 208 with
- 2:21:28Speaker 10: a homer and an RBI. Righty-righty matchup. The pitch. And
- 2:21:35Speaker 10: he pops one sky high. Foul ball, first base side,
- 2:21:39Speaker 10: Kyle Manzardo has room, makes the catch. Dylan Cruz quickly
- 2:21:45Speaker 10: retired for the second out in the inning. And that'll
- 2:21:49Speaker 10: bring up Dalen Lyle, left-handed hitter. Lyle. He's in left field, batting. 266,
- 2:22:04Speaker 10: seven homers, 26 RBIs. Two down, nobody on, 3-0 Washington,
- 2:22:11Speaker 10: but just the first inning. Now the pitch, and it's
- 2:22:15Speaker 10: swung on, fouled at the plate. Tanner Bybee has pitched way, way,
- 2:22:20Speaker 10: way better than the record would indicate. He's 0-6, earned
- 2:22:25Speaker 10: run average 375, 12th start, no complete game, six innings
- 2:22:30Speaker 10: to start, eight strikeouts, three walks per nine. The pitch
- 2:22:35Speaker 10: swung on, lifted, fouled. Out of play to the left, 0-2.
- 2:22:40Speaker 10: He's just, the old adage, picked the wrong day to pitch.
- 2:22:46Speaker 10: Nine of his 11 starts, Cleveland's either been shut out
- 2:22:49Speaker 10: or scored one run. 3-0 Nats, first inning. Base is empty,
- 2:22:56Speaker 10: two down. Now the 0-2. Swung on, pulled it on
- 2:23:01Speaker 10: the ground to first. Handled by Manzardo, the flip to Bybee.
- 2:23:06Speaker 10: Good changeup. and he had Lyle out in front. So
- 2:23:10Speaker 10: Tanner able to settle in after some early fireworks, a
- 2:23:14Speaker 10: couple of home runs, and Washington's got a 3-0 lead
- 2:23:18Speaker 10: before Cleveland comes to bat.

- 2:25:16Speaker 10: Well a reliever is going to start tonight. Most of
- 2:25:19Speaker 10: the action will be by Zach Littell. But they'll start
- 2:25:22Speaker 10: with P.J.
- 2:25:23Speaker 22: Poulin.
- 2:25:24Speaker 10: Left on left as Travis Pazana takes a strike. Washington
- 2:25:28Speaker 10: deciding to start a reliever. As Zach Littell has had
- 2:25:32Speaker 10: a tough go of it. And with all these left
- 2:25:35Speaker 10: handed Cleveland hitters. Start a lefty. And pitch an inning
- 2:25:39Speaker 10: or so. The pitch. And it's a breaking ball down
- 2:25:42Speaker 10: and away. One and one. Poulin on the year. has
- 2:25:47Speaker 10: worked in 23 games, and he's a guy that goes
- 2:25:51Speaker 10: at best one inning. He's only worked in 23 games,
- 2:25:54Speaker 10: 21 and two-thirds innings. The 1-1 to Bazana, and it's
- 2:25:59Speaker 10: down low 2-1. Poulin does not throw hard. He's a
- 2:26:05Speaker 10: guy that throws in the low 90s. He's got the fastball,
- 2:26:09Speaker 10: the sinker, curve, slider, and the split. Now the 2-1
- 2:26:15Speaker 10: to Bazana. And it's on the outer edge, a called strike. 2-2. Poulin, 6'1, 195,
- 2:26:25Speaker 10: 29 years of age. Second year in the big leagues.
- 2:26:28Speaker 10: They got him off the waiver wire from Detroit last August.
- 2:26:32Speaker 10: Now the 2-2. And Bozzana hits one back up the
- 2:26:37Speaker 10: middle on the ground behind second. Abrams, the shortstop, throws
- 2:26:41Speaker 10: him out. Hard hit, but Abrams shading him up the middle.
- 2:26:45Speaker 10: And Bozzana... With the big game and home run yesterday
- 2:26:49Speaker 10: in Philly. Retired for out number one. Here's Jose Ramirez.
- 2:26:53Speaker 10: Still bad right handed.
- 2:27:02Speaker 22: Poulin.
- 2:27:05Speaker 10: Is working from the set. And the left handers pitch.
- 2:27:10Speaker 10: And it's a little bit high for ball one. Poulin.
- 2:27:17Speaker 10: Out of Marion, Massachusetts. Went to the University of Connecticut.
- 2:27:22Speaker 10: The lefty's ready. Here comes the delivery. Ramirez taking it
- 2:27:27Speaker 10: slow and away, 2-0. In the outfield, Dalen Lyle is
- 2:27:34Speaker 10: in left. Jacob Young in center. The right fielder, Dylan Cruz.
- 2:27:39Speaker 10: Now the 2-0 pitch. Swung on, fouled off to the right, 2-1.
- 2:27:46Speaker 10: On the dirt, Luis Garcia Jr. at first, Curtis Meade
- 2:27:50Speaker 10: at second. C.J. Abrams at short. The third baseman is
- 2:27:56Speaker 10: Curtis Meade. The second baseman is Nassim Nunez. And Drew
- 2:28:02Speaker 10: Millis catching. The 2-1. Breaking ball inside. Check swing. Didn't
- 2:28:07Speaker 10: go on that curve ball. And the count 3-1. Peter
- 2:28:13Speaker 10: Arthur Poulin. Goes by P.J. 3-0 Nats. First inning. The
- 2:28:21Speaker 10: 3-1 pitch. Swung and drilled to left. That'll be a
- 2:28:26Speaker 10: base hit. Moving toward the line to cut it off
- 2:28:29Speaker 10: is Lyle. Huge turn by Ramirez, but he'll hold with
- 2:28:33Speaker 10: a single. So Jose Ramirez with the one-out single. Here's
- 2:28:38Speaker 10: Chase DeLauder. Now, the theory is, with all these left-handed
- 2:28:44Speaker 10: hitters for Cleveland, one time at the top of the order,
- 2:28:51Speaker 10: you like a left-handed reliever. to face the top of
- 2:28:54Speaker 10: the order rather than the righty, Zach Littell. Now the
- 2:28:58Speaker 10: problem with that is, a guy like Chase DeLauder hits.
- 2:29:03Speaker 10: 327 against left-handed pitching. The pitch to him on the
- 2:29:07Speaker 10: outside corner called strike. Poulin is trying to get through
- 2:29:14Speaker 10: one inning unscathed. Maybe a batter or two in the second,
- 2:29:19Speaker 10: we'll see. Now the 0-1 to DeLauder. And it's over
- 2:29:27Speaker 10: but low, one and one. Zach Littell expected to get
- 2:29:39Speaker 10: the bulk of the innings tonight. He's a veteran right-hander.
- 2:29:45Speaker 10: Now the set and pitch. And he went breaking ball
- 2:29:48Speaker 10: and nicked the outside corner with that curveball. One ball,
- 2:29:53Speaker 10: two strikes. Nance with a couple of first-inning home runs
- 2:30:04Speaker 10: on a 64-degree night on the shores of Lake Erie.
- 2:30:09Speaker 10: Now the 1-2 delivery. Swung on, pulled on the ground
- 2:30:13Speaker 10: to first, backhanded nicely. Garcia to second, one. Abrams turns
- 2:30:18Speaker 10: to double play. Washington, the worst defensive team in all
- 2:30:23Speaker 10: of baseball. You wouldn't know it there. Garcia with a
- 2:30:27Speaker 10: nifty 3-6-3 twin killer to end the first 3-0 Washington.
- 2:30:32Speaker 10: 3-0 Nats. And the first pitch is in there. A strike.
- 2:30:37Speaker 10: Righty-righty matchup. This is center fielder Jacob Young. 2-31 hitter.
- 2:30:42Speaker 10: Six homers. 23 RBIs. By the end of the motion.
- 2:30:49Speaker 10: And the 0-1. And it's high. 1-1. Dollar Banks, the
- 2:30:54Speaker 10: proud banking partner of the Guardians. 28 locations here in
- 2:30:58Speaker 10: Northeast Ohio. Ready to provide solutions to help get you there.
- 2:31:07Speaker 10: Bybee the wind and the 1-1.
- 2:31:10Speaker 1: Bullseye.
- 2:31:10Speaker 10: 1-2 the count. Jacob Young. Part of this very young
- 2:31:19Speaker 10: Washington national team. I mean, it's really a complete teardown
- 2:31:23Speaker 10: and redo starting with the new head of baseball ops,
- 2:31:28Speaker 10: Paul Taboney. Now the wind and the one-two. Swing and
- 2:31:38Speaker 10: a foul back. Paul Taboney had been in the Boston
- 2:31:46Speaker 10: Red Sox front office and now in his coming upon
- 2:31:54Speaker 10: his late 30s is now running this organization the pitch
- 2:31:58Speaker 10: down and away 2-2 tells you how bright a young
- 2:32:02Speaker 10: man he is he played college baseball at Cal Berkeley
- 2:32:07Speaker 10: was part of a Bears baseball team that got to
- 2:32:11Speaker 10: the college world series back in 2011 The pitch. Young
- 2:32:17Speaker 10: with a high drive, deep left, and there she goes
- 2:32:21Speaker 10: near the wall.
- 2:32:22Speaker 3: Gone again.
- 2:32:25Speaker 10: The third Washington home run. It's almost like they know
- 2:32:31Speaker 10: what's coming. And this is not a warm, windy night
- 2:32:37Speaker 10: where the ball jumps out of progressive field. It is
- 2:32:42Speaker 10: 64 degrees with a bit of a breeze blowing in,
- 2:32:45Speaker 10: but Jacob Young teed off on a hanging curveball and
- 2:32:50Speaker 10: pounded it into the bleachers and left Washington with its
- 2:32:54Speaker 10: third home run and a 4-0 lead here in inning
- 2:32:59Speaker 10: number two. Here's the catcher, Drew Millis, switch hitter batting left-handed.
- 2:33:05Speaker 10: Takes high and wide, ball one. But you look at
- 2:33:11Speaker 10: Paul Taboney coming in and just really changing a lot
- 2:33:16Speaker 10: of things in the front office. Their approach much more
- 2:33:21Speaker 10: analytically driven. The pitch swung on, fouled out of play.
- 2:33:25Speaker 10: Left side out of play. And they count one and one.
- 2:33:30Speaker 10: And then he hires a manager that you wonder... when
- 2:33:35Speaker 10: Blake Butera may have to shave for the first time ever.
- 2:33:39Speaker 10: He's got that young man's face, plus he's a young man.
- 2:33:43Speaker 10: The pitch is up high, 2-1 the count. They have
- 2:33:47Speaker 10: really gone youth-driven. Front office, coaching staff, the manager, their players,
- 2:33:55Speaker 10: and boy, are they responding. The next pitch bounces in there,
- 2:34:00Speaker 10: and it's a 3-1 count. That's a bone he brought up.
- 2:34:03Speaker 10: There's a lot of Boston influence on that coaching staff.
- 2:34:06Speaker 10: A lot of Tampa Bay influence based on Blake Butera's
- 2:34:10Speaker 10: background with the Rays. You're right. Visiting with him in
- 2:34:13Speaker 10: his office, I don't think there was a Razor in
- 2:34:16Speaker 10: there for saving. Now the pitch. A swing and another
- 2:34:22Speaker 10: ball hit in the air. Fouled third base side. Jose
- 2:34:26Speaker 10: Ramirez makes the catch not too far from the grandstand area.
- 2:34:30Speaker 10: Millis fouling out. Well, you know what? It takes a
- 2:34:36Speaker 10: lot of courage for ownership to go away from what
- 2:34:41Speaker 10: they have done in the past. Obviously, they won it
- 2:34:44Speaker 10: all back in 2019. And Mike Rizzo, a career baseball
- 2:34:51Speaker 10: man and a tremendous baseball man. Here's Nassim Nunez swinging,
- 2:34:57Speaker 10: fouling it back. Switch hitting second baseman, batting 186, but leads...
- 2:35:03Speaker 10: The National League with 22 steals. And you can't argue
- 2:35:07Speaker 10: with what Mike Rizzo did. They were a perennial playoff
- 2:35:10Speaker 10: team in D.C., the pitch. And it's down low 1-1.
- 2:35:15Speaker 10: And boy, they had so many entertaining clubs, did the Nationals.
- 2:35:21Speaker 10: And won it all in 2019. But they overhauled this
- 2:35:26Speaker 10: past offseason. The 1-1. Waved at. Boy, that's a great changeup.
- 2:35:31Speaker 38: 1-2.
- 2:35:33Speaker 10: And without question, the old regime was much more, when
- 2:35:40Speaker 10: you think of Mike Rizzo, old school baseball. The one-two,
- 2:35:45Speaker 10: a swing and a ball hit foul outside of first.
- 2:35:49Speaker 10: Paul Taboney is, you know, three decades younger and has
- 2:35:55Speaker 10: gone much more to the analytics side. And we'll see
- 2:36:01Speaker 10: how it all works out. The one thing we do
- 2:36:03Speaker 10: know is Washington's been a winner before, and they're trying
- 2:36:07Speaker 10: to get back. Now the wind on the 1-2. A
- 2:36:11Speaker 10: swing and a miss. Bybee with a good fastball strikes
- 2:36:14Speaker 10: out Nunez. Second out, second strikeout. 4-0 Washington. Second inning.
- 2:36:21Speaker 10: The bottom line is, Rosie, there is no one way
- 2:36:26Speaker 10: guaranteed in baseball or sports today. That is a guaranteed, well,
- 2:36:31Speaker 10: you'll win if you do it this way. That's the
- 2:36:33Speaker 10: beauty of our game and sports. Top of the order,
- 2:36:37Speaker 10: James Wood taking low ball one. If you're going young,
- 2:36:41Speaker 10: today's young players, they have a thirst for the technology
- 2:36:44Speaker 10: and analytics side of the game. Most of them do.
- 2:36:47Speaker 10: So you have to be able to provide that, and
- 2:36:49Speaker 10: they are now in Washington. Now the windup and the
- 2:36:52Speaker 10: pitch to Wood, who homered to right center his first
- 2:36:55Speaker 10: time up, and he sends this one foul out of
- 2:36:58Speaker 10: play to the left, and they count one and one.
- 2:37:03Speaker 10: But I don't think even Paul Toboni could have envisioned
- 2:37:06Speaker 10: a ball club on Memorial Day in second place, a
- 2:37:10Speaker 10: 500 club, and they haven't even begun to scratch the surface,
- 2:37:15Speaker 10: and they have more good young talent coming, and they'll
- 2:37:17Speaker 10: draft high in the draft this summer. Wood swings and
- 2:37:21Speaker 10: rips a base hit into left center. Boy, when he
- 2:37:25Speaker 10: stands at the plate and mentioned before that Wood is 6'6, 250,
- 2:37:33Speaker 10: he looks like he's going to get a hit every
- 2:37:36Speaker 10: time he's at the plate. He's got a great swing,
- 2:37:39Speaker 10: he is so strong, and he's homer to right center,
- 2:37:44Speaker 10: now single to left center, and here's Luis Garcia Jr.,
- 2:37:49Speaker 10: Doubled off the wall and left center his first time up.
- 2:37:53Speaker 10: The pitch. A swing and a foul back on a
- 2:37:56Speaker 10: changeup that was up. Washington finally has hit a single.
- 2:38:02Speaker 10: Three home runs, a double and a single in the
- 2:38:05Speaker 10: first two innings. 4-0 Nationals. A runner on, two down.
- 2:38:11Speaker 10: Wood will steal. Everybody on this team does. He has
- 2:38:15Speaker 10: eight bags. The pitch. Outside and low, a changeup, 1-1. Washington,
- 2:38:22Speaker 10: 53 steals. That's fourth highest in all of baseball. Cleveland,
- 2:38:29Speaker 10: second highest at 54. One more than the Nats. Now
- 2:38:34Speaker 10: the 1-1 delivery. And before it's made a throw to
- 2:38:37Speaker 10: first and back with a dive is Wood.
- 2:38:42Speaker 7: Well..
- 2:38:43Speaker 10: In the month of May, Washington leads all of baseball
- 2:38:47Speaker 10: in runs scored. Cleveland is second. And Cleveland will need
- 2:38:53Speaker 10: to bring out the lumber tonight. 4-0 Nationals, second inning.
- 2:38:57Speaker 10: The 1-1. And that one down low. Boy, that was close.
- 2:39:01Speaker 10: Another changeup. And they count 2-1. Tanner Bybee at 47
- 2:39:07Speaker 10: pitches here in the second inning. Outfield deep toward right.
- 2:39:13Speaker 10: Infield pulled to the right. The pitch to Garcia. And
- 2:39:18Speaker 10: it's inside. Ball three. Three and one. Luis Garcia Jr.
- 2:39:28Speaker 10: He's only 26 years of age. The next delivery, and
- 2:39:46Speaker 10: he rips one to deep right field. This ball gone.
- 2:39:52Speaker 10: A laser that clears the nine-foot wall in right, and
- 2:39:57Speaker 10: Washington has a 6-0 lead. And again, I have no idea,
- 2:40:06Speaker 10: but the way Washington is swinging, they are swinging the
- 2:40:10Speaker 10: bats like they know something. They have now hit four
- 2:40:14Speaker 10: home runs in the first two innings. Two in each inning.
- 2:40:20Speaker 10: Garcia's fourth. And it's 6-0 Nationals with the bases empty,
- 2:40:27Speaker 10: two down. Here's Curtis Mead, a two-run homer to left
- 2:40:33Speaker 10: his first time up. The pitch, and it's in there,
- 2:40:38Speaker 10: a called strike. Bybee's most effective pitch on the season,
- 2:40:45Speaker 10: the changeup. That's what Garcia did, but in a bad spot.
- 2:40:50Speaker 10: The next pitch is fouled out of play to even
- 2:40:52Speaker 10: the count. Whether it's fastball, changeup, breaking ball, it's got
- 2:40:59Speaker 10: to be located well by Tanner Bybee as it is
- 2:41:01Speaker 10: with most pitchers, and he's just struggling with his command tonight.
- 2:41:05Speaker 10: Now the 0-2 delivery. A swing and a sky ball.
- 2:41:09Speaker 10: Shallow center, Rokio out, Kwon in. Stephen Kwon will make
- 2:41:14Speaker 10: the catch. Two more bombs, and the Nationals have a
- 2:41:18Speaker 10: 6-0 lead in the middle of the second on the
- 2:41:20Speaker 10: Cleveland Clinic Radio Network.

- 2:42:56Speaker 10: And the right-hander with the one-two delivery.
- 2:42:58Speaker 9: Swing and a miss.
- 2:43:00Speaker 10: Back foot slider ate him up. What a job by
- 2:43:04Speaker 10: Tanner Bybee.
- 2:43:05Speaker 20: This is Tanner Bybee.
- 2:43:06Speaker 42: You're listening to the Cleveland Clinic Guardians Radio Network.
- 2:43:10Speaker 1: News Radio 570 WKBN Youngstown.
- 2:43:21Speaker 10: Tell you what the Guardians need. They need Tony Goldsmith. Recently,
- 2:43:27Speaker 10: Johnny's son had a walk-off home run. Cleveland needs Tony.
- 2:43:31Speaker 10: Call him up, Johnny. Here's Reese Hoskins, the DH, and
- 2:43:35Speaker 10: he takes a curveball down and in. Tony Goldsmith got
- 2:43:41Speaker 10: a walk-off game-winning home run recently in his grade school game,
- 2:43:45Speaker 10: and Cleveland's going to need Tony and a whole bunch more.
- 2:43:49Speaker 10: 6-0 Nationals, second innings. Hoskins taking, it's in there. Hey,
- 2:43:54Speaker 10: when the Guardians do win, Northeast Ohio Ford dealers donate
- 2:43:58Speaker 10: $ 500 to Cleveland Guardians Charities. That'll support youth sports in Cleveland.
- 2:44:06Speaker 10: The next offering, and Reese Hoskins takes down and in,
- 2:44:11Speaker 10: 2-1 the count. Well, now if you're the manager for
- 2:44:16Speaker 10: the Washington Nationals, Blake Butera's able to go Hey, we're
- 2:44:20Speaker 10: up six. I can push my reliever that started this
- 2:44:25Speaker 10: game a little further. The 2-1 pitch. A swing and
- 2:44:29Speaker 10: a drive!
- 2:44:30Speaker 1: High! Deep to left!
- 2:44:32Speaker 15: Down the line!
- 2:44:35Speaker 54: Gone to the porch! A majestic blast! And home run
- 2:44:44Speaker 54: derby continues!
- 2:44:47Speaker 10: 6-1 Washington as Reese Hoskins hit number five. The only
- 2:44:55Speaker 10: question was, would it stay fair? That'll bring up Kyle Manzardo.
- 2:45:06Speaker 10: A 221 batting mark. Five homers, 17 RBIs. Left on left.
- 2:45:15Speaker 10: Poulin's ready. Here it comes. And a swing and a
- 2:45:20Speaker 10: miss on a breaking ball away. Strike one. Manzardo. The hero.
- 2:45:29Speaker 10: Friday night in Philly with a pinch hit home run
- 2:45:32Speaker 10: in the 1-0 win. Got it in the ninth. The pitch.
- 2:45:36Speaker 10: A swing and a foul at the plate.
- 2:45:39Speaker 38: 0-2.
- 2:45:40Speaker 10: Hey, by the way, if Cleveland... Has a four spot
- 2:45:44Speaker 10: in any of the first four innings. Then the Conrad

- 2:46:13Speaker 10: The 1-2. Outside by a whisker. 2-2. We've had five
- 2:46:24Speaker 10: home runs hit in an inning and a half. Now
- 2:46:31Speaker 10: the 2-2 to Manzardo. Way outside. Full count. Now the
- 2:46:50Speaker 10: payoff pitch from Poulin. And Manzardo took inside.
- 2:46:59Speaker 1: Ball four.
- 2:47:02Speaker 10: This is sometimes what happens when you try to push.
- 2:47:05Speaker 6: A guy you.
- 2:47:07Speaker 10: Use out of the bullpen and start him. He's a
- 2:47:10Speaker 10: guy that's not even averaging an inning per appearance this year.
- 2:47:16Speaker 10: He's in his second inning of work tonight. And Cleveland
- 2:47:22Speaker 10: with a 6-1 deficit. Angel Martinez at the plate. Switch
- 2:47:27Speaker 10: hitter batting right-handed. The pitch to him. And he fists
- 2:47:31Speaker 10: it back.
- 2:47:32Speaker 13: Foul.
- 2:47:32Speaker 10: Strike one. Remember now, in the month of May, Cleveland...
- 2:47:40Speaker 10: is second in the major leagues in runs at five
- 2:47:44Speaker 10: a game, leading the major leagues in walks in the
- 2:47:48Speaker 10: month of May at almost five a game. Now the
- 2:47:51Speaker 10: 0-1 delivery, swung on, hit in the air, pretty well
- 2:47:55Speaker 10: hit to right center, but there's Dylan Cruz, and Martinez
- 2:47:59Speaker 10: out number one. It'll bring up Stephen Kwan. Left-handed center
- 2:48:05Speaker 10: fielder batting. 208 with a homer, 12 RBIs. Zach Littell
- 2:48:26Speaker 10: is up throwing a ball against the wall in the
- 2:48:28Speaker 10: Washington bullpen. One out, one on. Six to one Nationals.
- 2:48:34Speaker 10: Left on left. Kwon takes up and in. Ball one.
- 2:48:41Speaker 10: Maybe they forgot to bring their bullpen catcher tonight. What
- 2:48:47Speaker 10: is happening out there? Poulin's ready. Checks first. Comes to
- 2:48:56Speaker 10: the plate. Kwon takes a strike. Borderline. Outer edge. One
- 2:49:00Speaker 10: and one. Well, Cleveland's won eight out of nine and
- 2:49:07Speaker 10: 14-4 since that first week in May when they were
- 2:49:13Speaker 10: 18-19 after losing the first two games in Kansas City.
- 2:49:17Speaker 10: The pitch. Kwon bangs one up the middle. Abrams has it,
- 2:49:21Speaker 10: runs to second. Steps, throws, inning ending, double play. But
- 2:49:26Speaker 10: a blast to left by Reese Hoskins has put Cleveland
- 2:49:30Speaker 10: on the board. Third is next. It's 6-1 Washington.
- 2:49:36Speaker 1: News Radio 570 WKBN Youngstown.
- 2:49:45Speaker 10: Guardians and Red Sox Saturday afternoon at 4-10. It's the
- 2:49:49Speaker 10: Austin Hedges replica jersey giveaway. Get your tickets at CLEGuardians.com.
- 2:49:59Speaker 10: 6-1 Washington, third inning. Cleanup man C.J. Abrams takes a strike.
- 2:50:06Speaker 10: So in the first, James Wood started the game with
- 2:50:10Speaker 10: a blast to right center. After Luis Garcia doubled, Curtis
- 2:50:14Speaker 10: Meade homered to left. 3-0 Nance. Now the wind in
- 2:50:19Speaker 10: the pitch. Swung on, hammered to right.
- 2:50:23Speaker 13: Down the line.
- 2:50:25Speaker 41: Gone.
- 2:50:27Speaker 10: Oh my goodness. Another missile. The fifth Washington home run.
- 2:50:39Speaker 10: And we're in the third. Well, in the second inning,
- 2:50:46Speaker 10: as I continue the update, a leadoff homer to left
- 2:50:50Speaker 10: by Jacob Young. Later in the inning, a two-run homer
- 2:50:54Speaker 10: to right by Luis Garcia Jr. Folks, can you remember
- 2:51:00Speaker 10: the last time in a major league game that the
- 2:51:04Speaker 10: leadoff hitter in the first three innings of a game
- 2:51:07Speaker 10: is homered? Here's Dylan Cruz. The pitch swung on line
- 2:51:14Speaker 10: to center. There's a base hit for Cruz. So five
- 2:51:24Speaker 10: home runs yielded by Tanner Bybee here in the first
- 2:51:28Speaker 10: three innings. 7-1 Washington. Here comes pitching coach Carl Willis.
- 2:51:37Speaker 10: Tanner Bybee giving up five home runs. That matches the
- 2:51:42Speaker 10: franchise record. So Tanner Ivey will visit with Carl Willis.
- 2:51:56Speaker 10: It'll give us a chance to update you on what
- 2:51:59Speaker 10: else is happening on this holiday. Yankees beat Kansas City 4-3.
- 2:52:06Speaker 10: Royals are now 10 games under. Milwaukee beat up St.
- 2:52:11Speaker 10: Louis 5-1. The Brewers now lead the Cardinals by 2.5
- 2:52:15Speaker 10: in the NL Central. White Sox a 3-1 winner over Minnesota.
- 2:52:23Speaker 10: In 13 innings, Baltimore outlasted Tampa Bay 9-7. How about
- 2:52:28Speaker 10: this game? In the 11th inning, Tampa and Baltimore each
- 2:52:34Speaker 10: scored 2. In the 12th inning, each scored a run.
- 2:52:39Speaker 10: In the 13th, Tampa scored two, Baltimore scored four. Here's
- 2:52:44Speaker 10: Dalen Lyle, left-handed hitter, and he takes outside. That's your
- 2:52:55Speaker 10: old walk-off home run for Baltimore. Boy, they needed that
- 2:53:01Speaker 10: over Tampa. Now the 1-0 pitch to Lyle, and he
- 2:53:05Speaker 10: cuts and misses.
- 2:53:05Speaker 53: Yes.
- 2:53:07Speaker 10: Matt Festa warming in the Cleveland bullpen.
- 2:53:14Speaker 1: There were a.
- 2:53:15Speaker 10: Lot of games played earlier today on this holiday. Pittsburgh
- 2:53:20Speaker 10: a 2-1 winner over the Cubs. Now the set and
- 2:53:25Speaker 10: the pitch fouled at the plate. And Lyle with a
- 2:53:28Speaker 10: 1-2 count. Of course, any time we update the scores,
- 2:53:32Speaker 10: that's brought to you by your Northeast Ohio Ford dealers.
- 2:53:38Speaker 10: Here it's 7-1 Washington with five home runs in the
- 2:53:43Speaker 10: first three innings. Runner on at first, still nobody out
- 2:53:46Speaker 10: in the third. Lyle grounded out his first time. Bybee's ready.
- 2:53:51Speaker 10: Here it comes. And it's swung on, foul tipped into
- 2:53:54Speaker 10: Patrick Bailey's glove. Third strikeout for Tanner Bybee. Let's pause
- 2:53:59Speaker 10: right now for a station ID on the Cleveland Clinic

- 2:56:54Speaker 10: Well, Zach Littell, who normally would be the starter, but
- 2:56:58Speaker 10: because of Cleveland's predominance of left-handed hitters, they started a
- 2:57:03Speaker 10: left-handed reliever tonight. And P.J. Poulin goes two innings, gives
- 2:57:08Speaker 10: up a run on two hits. the home run to
- 2:57:11Speaker 10: left by Reese Hoskins Poulin walked one didn't strike anybody
- 2:57:15Speaker 10: out so the normal starter Zach Littell now comes on
- 2:57:21Speaker 10: seven to one Washington Bottom of the third, he'll work
- 2:57:25Speaker 10: from the set position. Patrick Bailey, the catcher, hits the
- 2:57:29Speaker 10: first pitch in the air to fairly deep left. Back
- 2:57:32Speaker 10: is Lyle on the track. One pitch, one out. This,

- 2:58:10Speaker 10: to it. Curve, slider, split finger. He's struggled against left-handed hitters.
- 2:58:17Speaker 10: The pitch, and it's fouled back. Thus, tonight, the reliever started.
- 2:58:25Speaker 10: Littell batting average against him by lefties, 300. Righties batting 253. Cleveland,
- 2:58:34Speaker 10: eight lefties in there now. Rocchio takes up high, one

- 2:59:20Speaker 10: this year are batting 278. He has given up 15
- 2:59:26Speaker 10: home runs in 46 innings.
- 2:59:29Speaker 22: Wow.
- 2:59:30Speaker 10: The 1-2. Swung and ripped to right. We'll do it
- 2:59:34Speaker 10: again at 1-2. Another foul ball off the netting. So
- 2:59:38Speaker 10: the 15 home runs that Littell has given up tells
- 2:59:43Speaker 10: you one thing. Cleveland is by no way shape Out
- 2:59:48Speaker 10: of this game. Now the pitch. A swing and a
- 2:59:53Speaker 10: liner to third. It is by Meade down the left
- 2:59:56Speaker 10: field line. Cut off by Lyle. Rocio going for two
- 3:00:00Speaker 10: to throw the tag. He's out. Perfect throw by Lyle
- 3:00:06Speaker 10: as he went toward the line. Rocio trying to make
- 3:00:10Speaker 10: it a hustle double was out by a bunch. Boy,
- 3:00:14Speaker 10: that hurts. So two down, top of the order, and
- 3:00:19Speaker 10: Travis Bozzana. Bozzana grounded out his first time up. Zach
- 3:00:30Speaker 10: Liddell's ready. Here it comes. And it's swung and ripped
- 3:00:35Speaker 10: up the alley in right center field. This ball will
- 3:00:37Speaker 10: go close to the track. On his way to second,
- 3:00:40Speaker 10: Bozzana hit first slide and a double. Boy, how big
- 3:00:45Speaker 10: does that... Throw out at second. Look now. So Bozzana
- 3:00:50Speaker 10: with his third double. He is now coming in here
- 3:00:54Speaker 10: with an 8.24 OPS, and Bozzana just keeps getting better
- 3:00:58Speaker 10: and better. Two down, he's at second for Jose Ramirez.
- 3:01:03Speaker 10: Switch interbanning left-handed. Cleveland's down six here.
- 3:01:07Speaker 1: In the third.
- 3:01:09Speaker 10: Long way to go in this one. The set and
- 3:01:15Speaker 10: the delivery. And it's a touch high, ball one. Outfield
- 3:01:23Speaker 10: deep and around toward right. This could be one of
- 3:01:27Speaker 10: those old-fashioned slugfests here tonight. The set, the delivery, and
- 3:01:35Speaker 10: it's off speed and a called strike on the outer edge.
- 3:01:39Speaker 10: One ball, one strike. Boy, Littell had some good years
- 3:01:43Speaker 10: down through the years. Saw a lot of him in
- 3:01:46Speaker 10: Tampa Bay. The right-hander delivers. Down and in. Check swing.
- 3:01:53Speaker 10: Two and one to count. Always been one of those guys.
- 3:01:57Speaker 10: Not a thrower. He's been a pitcher. Minnesota, San Francisco, Boston,
- 3:02:03Speaker 10: Tampa Bay, Cincinnati. First year with Washington. He has a
- 3:02:11Speaker 10: career ERA of. 388. Now the 2-1 pitch to Ramirez.
- 3:02:18Speaker 10: Swung on a chopper headed to second. Nunez throws to
- 3:02:22Speaker 10: the pitcher covering. Littell got there to take the throw.
- 3:02:26Speaker 10: Third is done. 7-1 Washington. Cleveland Clinic Radio Network.
