Ghostbusters (1984) | Ep. 25 - Part 2
The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man was a stuntman in a suit waddling through a miniature Manhattan, and it's still glorious. Luke, Westy, and Matt continue the story, picking up at the rooftop showdown. We dig into the crew behind the film — the Aykroyd and Ramis screenplay, Elmer Bernstein's score and Ray Parker Jr.'s inescapable theme, and the pioneering effects work — before breaking down the finale, the box office phenomenon, and the franchise it launched. Plus the hosts' final verdict and scores.Part 1 is the origin story — Reitman, the cast, the first act. Worth starting there.
