- 1:54Speaker 2: Who's got it better than the Chevy Silverado.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Body very much like the Chevy Silverado.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Dudelet's give a tip of the cap to the.
- 2:03Speaker 4: Boy that is literally exceeding most touchdowns in Michigan history,
- 2:09Speaker 4: rushing rushing touchdowns in Michigan history. In that game, in
- 2:13Speaker 4: that moment he was down. I think he scored fourteen
- 2:16Speaker 4: touchdowns this year. Like it was like, hey, he's off
- 2:18Speaker 4: in the distance, we'll see what happens. But the guy
- 2:21Speaker 4: truly after an ACL all that stuff, it was, Dude,
- 2:24Speaker 4: it was so it was so fucking great to see.
- 2:27Speaker 2: It really was.
- 2:27Speaker 4: You gotta bleep the F word, But dude, I hated
- 2:31Speaker 4: yesterday until the end.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I hated it.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Literally, woke up, got excited, went to the Chandler's house
- 2:38Speaker 4: for New Year's and we're kind of talking this girl
- 2:41Speaker 4: to Nay, she played softball at Alabama, and we're kind
- 2:43Speaker 4: of chirping back and forth a little bit. I showed
- 2:45Speaker 4: the little videos I was gonna post. I told her
- 2:47Speaker 4: about the whole situation we talked about before about you
- 2:49Speaker 4: guys ploting against people. Really it was just Garrett plotting
- 2:51Speaker 4: against me, and so I thought, hey, it's me against
- 2:53Speaker 4: the world of the bus essentially, which it kind of
- 2:55Speaker 4: has been this whole entire year. Then I wake up
- 2:57Speaker 4: in the morning, hit my little routine, hit my little work,
- 3:00Speaker 4: and right around one pm, I'm nervous, nervous to the
- 3:04Speaker 4: point where, man, what if they just get blown out again?
- 3:08Speaker 4: What if this just happens again? What if all of
- 3:10Speaker 4: the things that everybody said the men in this bus happens.
- 3:14Speaker 2: And it was an incredible game.
- 3:17Speaker 5: You have, Like when that first play happened in JJ
- 3:21Speaker 5: trying to throw out a bounce and he just throws
- 3:22Speaker 5: it to the Alabama defender. I just start laughing out loud, like,
- 3:26Speaker 5: oh my god, this could be so bad.
- 3:29Speaker 2: It could be so bad.
- 3:31Speaker 5: Fortunately, uh you know they it wasn't a turnover right
- 3:34Speaker 5: there to start.
- 3:35Speaker 2: I mean, in my it's just there was a turnover
- 3:37Speaker 2: just like three minutes later.
- 3:38Speaker 5: I'm sure every Michigan was by sitting there when he
- 3:40Speaker 5: threw that pick, like.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Oh no, everybody. You just felt it was so tight.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Everyone felt so tight and everything. And then I see
- 3:49Speaker 4: the defense get pressure. They did like I think they
- 3:50Speaker 4: sacked them like defense played out standing line a line
- 3:55Speaker 4: which is crazy because you get a guy like Milroe,
- 3:57Speaker 4: who is just a freak athlete, having those contained rushes
- 4:01Speaker 4: running those inside games during pass plays. They had an
- 4:07Speaker 4: incredible game plan, and I was very impressed with the
- 4:11Speaker 4: back end of defense, the defense too, the way they're
- 4:13Speaker 4: able to run with those.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Athletes, because that is the fear of how found true.
- 4:17Speaker 5: But I was I didn't understand, and I owe I
- 4:19Speaker 5: owe the Michigan defense and apology. I didn't realize their
- 4:21Speaker 5: game was like that. I'm looking at the back seven
- 4:25Speaker 5: and they are they are some goons.
- 4:27Speaker 4: Bro oh yeah, Will Johnson. And then I always forget
- 4:30Speaker 4: the other kid's name, but he's number zero. They're both insane,
- 4:34Speaker 4: thank you very much. And then that that more kid,
- 4:38Speaker 4: the safety like all of them in the back end,
- 4:39Speaker 4: that Colston kid, Brentwood, Brentwick Kidd Nashville, Tennessee. Like they
- 4:43Speaker 4: just have dogs and dude, one of the most impressive
- 4:46Speaker 4: people on that team is number seventy eighth, their d lineman,
- 4:48Speaker 4: that their nose tackle. He is a unit kids like
- 4:52Speaker 4: three point fifty. But you see him every time he's in.
- 4:54Speaker 4: They revolve guys around so much. He's sprinting to the
- 4:57Speaker 4: ball where he hawked that dude down against Penn State.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Just amazing, but very uncharacteristic of Michigan. The way they
- 5:05Speaker 4: had as many like miscues as they did.
- 5:07Speaker 2: The special teams was what was killing y'all?
- 5:10Speaker 5: Killing us, dude, because you guys like, uh, like Jim
- 5:15Speaker 5: coach Moore, is it Coach Moore? Their offensive staff who
- 5:18Speaker 5: put together that game plan, like they were doing a
- 5:20Speaker 5: great job, like with all the shifts, with the motions
- 5:23Speaker 5: after the shift, like messing with their eyes because you
- 5:26Speaker 5: have to do you have to do a good job
- 5:27Speaker 5: of adjusting like defensively.
- 5:29Speaker 6: Uh.
- 5:30Speaker 5: But I thought that Michigan just had a great game
- 5:33Speaker 5: plan to kind of go along. Like of course I was.
- 5:35Speaker 5: I was like rooting for Alabama. Then by the end
- 5:37Speaker 5: of it, you're like, fuck man, Like they are playing
- 5:40Speaker 5: a solid game and special teams almost killed you guys.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Yeah, it was like then that cat.
- 5:45Speaker 5: At the end of the game trying to field the
- 5:47Speaker 5: ball and then backed up on like the.
- 5:49Speaker 4: Inch yard line and then you're thinking, you gotta do it.
- 5:53Speaker 4: You can't even take a knee.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Yeah, he what if we lost on a safety?
- 5:58Speaker 4: But the thing, yeah, so you I think you're right,
- 6:00Speaker 4: Like strategically, the game plan, everything, like Michigan had the
- 6:04Speaker 4: better game plan. They were executing better, especially in the
- 6:07Speaker 4: first half. The special team's plays like muffing that punt
- 6:12Speaker 4: on the in the first quarter when you're getting the
- 6:14Speaker 4: ball back for your second then you just spat Alabama
- 6:17Speaker 4: seven right there? Then do you go through the game
- 6:20Speaker 4: and this is what I love. I'll actually get to
- 6:22Speaker 4: what I love about what Michigan did in these situations.
- 6:24Speaker 4: But at the end of the game, you're going in,
- 6:28Speaker 4: you have one drive to go and win it, forty
- 6:31Speaker 4: five seconds left on the clock, and you put this
- 6:33Speaker 4: white boy out here. No disrespect to him, but like
- 6:36Speaker 4: that's the first punt I've seen him, I've seen him
- 6:39Speaker 4: catch the entire game.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Muffing the punts.
- 6:42Speaker 4: It was one muff and the other kid. There was
- 6:43Speaker 4: a couple more punts. This kid caught it just fine,
- 6:45Speaker 4: and he goes be he goes inside the ten. He
- 6:48Speaker 4: was inside of ten, backed up near this seventh. Like,
- 6:51Speaker 4: that's just the awareness game where you're like, bro, just
- 6:53Speaker 4: let it go and if they down it, that's fine,
- 6:55Speaker 4: but you like that could have been essentially twenty fifteen
- 6:59Speaker 4: Michigan State.
- 7:00Speaker 5: Every special teams meeting in the country is if you're
- 7:03Speaker 5: fielding a punt inside the ten, especially if you're backing
- 7:06Speaker 5: up to go get it, you let it go.
- 7:08Speaker 4: Let that thing go, ye, let it go. This is
- 7:10Speaker 4: what I really liked about Michigan and the trust they
- 7:14Speaker 4: have in their players. The first series of Michigan happens
- 7:19Speaker 4: the almost pick, They end up going three and out,
- 7:22Speaker 4: and then the defense gets the ball back.
- 7:24Speaker 2: The whole punt thing happens.
- 7:25Speaker 4: Eventually Michigan's obviously back on the field instead of just
- 7:28Speaker 4: going all right, JJ.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Almost threw a pick when he was.
- 7:30Speaker 5: Throwing the ball away, We're gonna run it, and they
- 7:32Speaker 5: it was seven nothing to like, yeah, seven nothing.
- 7:35Speaker 4: Immediately goes and gets the ball out of JJ's head
- 7:38Speaker 4: for an easy completion, getting his confidence back up. This
- 7:40Speaker 4: eighty two kid when he muffs the punt he had
- 7:43Speaker 4: to play down the field, gets them ten to eleven
- 7:45Speaker 4: yards and like one series later, like they're going back
- 7:48Speaker 4: to these guys and not just keeping them cold and
- 7:51Speaker 4: then eventually like relying on them later in the game,
- 7:53Speaker 4: which I thought was great. Roman Wilson the fourth quarter
- 7:57Speaker 4: on fourth and three, Blake Korm, like you said, with
- 7:59Speaker 4: the most and everything going from that trip to that
- 8:01Speaker 4: bunch trips and then flipping the back. He did a
- 8:04Speaker 4: great job of getting out and has an X play
- 8:06Speaker 4: twenty twenty five yards. Roman Wilson has an abysmal block
- 8:10Speaker 4: in the back, a like senior wide receiver does everything right,
- 8:15Speaker 4: has the block in the back where you're just like,
- 8:17Speaker 4: oh my god, they're literally trying to fucking ruin it.
- 8:20Speaker 4: They're trying to ruin it because I don't know about
- 8:22Speaker 4: you guys, but when that last drive, I'm thinking they're
- 8:24Speaker 4: gonna eat up all the clock and in my world
- 8:27Speaker 4: score and in that situation, based on how the second
- 8:30Speaker 4: half has gone, you go for two.
- 8:31Speaker 2: In that situation, in my head, they might go for
- 8:33Speaker 2: two as well.
- 8:34Speaker 4: Yeah, but fuck it with one one thirty eight left
- 8:37Speaker 4: in the game. Alabama's got timeouts. I think it was
- 8:39Speaker 4: the right move to hit the extra point. But if
- 8:42Speaker 4: you were to get down where it's like ten seconds,
- 8:44Speaker 4: where play hey boys, let's just win it here, balls.
- 8:47Speaker 2: In our hands. They obviously made the right choice.
- 8:49Speaker 4: But I love the fact that they went back to
- 8:51Speaker 4: dudes that were making that made a couple of mistakes,
- 8:54Speaker 4: and that shit was cool. I also love the referees
- 8:58Speaker 4: laying the boys play. I thought the punter, I thought
- 9:00Speaker 4: the punter getting kicked hit that was a flag. I
- 9:03Speaker 4: thought JJ on that that, like JP said, that legacy
- 9:06Speaker 4: catch when he got hit, that could have been a penalty.
- 9:09Speaker 4: That last drive, JJ runs it, he's on the Alabama sideline,
- 9:13Speaker 4: gets thrown to the ground outside the white paint. That's
- 9:15Speaker 4: a penalty. But they let it ride, and they were
- 9:18Speaker 4: calling it evenly, so that is I did. I did
- 9:20Speaker 4: appreciate that. But and I told you this earlier because
- 9:24Speaker 4: I'm it was a great game. You've had a lot
- 9:26Speaker 4: of success in your fandom. That game, if Michigan doesn't
- 9:31Speaker 4: make the uncharacteristic mistakes, is a double digit win for Michigan.
- 9:37Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean that's the We're just playing the hypothetical
- 9:39Speaker 5: game at this point.
- 9:41Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, is this is this podcast just been
- 9:43Speaker 4: me talking the whole time?
- 9:44Speaker 5: Or no, I want to jump away with Hey, Gary,
- 9:47Speaker 5: how'd you feel about the game?
- 9:49Speaker 2: Uh? You know, obviously disappointing.
- 9:52Speaker 7: It's you know, Taylor's right, that was the worst feeling
- 9:58Speaker 7: of anxiety the entire day leading up one o'clock hit
- 10:02Speaker 7: and I'm pacing around like what do I do? Like
- 10:04Speaker 7: this sucks closer it gets your nerves head in and
- 10:07Speaker 7: you're like, holy crap, here we go. First play pick,
- 10:10Speaker 7: I'm like, oh, it's a rap. It's a rap. Second
- 10:14Speaker 7: play I don't even remember what happens, but JJ converts
- 10:17Speaker 7: a third down on that first drive where he throws
- 10:20Speaker 7: a laser on the sideline. They review it, guys toes in.
- 10:23Speaker 7: I'm like, oh fuck, Like we gotta finish plays. Obviously
- 10:28Speaker 7: we get the ball back. Jase breaks one touchdown. I
- 10:31Speaker 7: feel a little better, and then the game kind of
- 10:34Speaker 7: steals after Michigan immediately drives down its course because I
- 10:37Speaker 7: was like, oh shit, here we go, like they're gonna
- 10:39Speaker 7: move the ball. And so the whole back and forth
- 10:43Speaker 7: or forever was extremely stressful.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Airs were all over the field for both sides.
- 10:50Speaker 5: Who do you put the game on? Who were you
- 10:53Speaker 5: most disappointed or what were you most disappointed in.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Our game plan? For sure?
- 10:58Speaker 7: The game plan on offense, I think think was immediately
- 11:03Speaker 7: set back because of Michigan's game plan on defense. They
- 11:07Speaker 7: came with pressure immediately to start the game, and that's
- 11:12Speaker 7: how you get Milroe off his game. You can't give
- 11:13Speaker 7: them time because the longer he extends plays, it's where
- 11:17Speaker 7: he beats you. And there was no extending plays. I
- 11:20Speaker 7: think play calling was interesting. When we had success running
- 11:24Speaker 7: the ball, we'd get inside the thirty and start throwing screens.
- 11:27Speaker 7: We even had success doing that all year. I think,
- 11:32Speaker 7: you know, there's big mistakes and big moments that back
- 11:36Speaker 7: you up to where you have to settle for three.
- 11:38Speaker 7: They could have put the game away hopefully.
- 11:43Speaker 2: You know, it was tough.
- 11:44Speaker 7: I think there's like four plays that Michigan had that
- 11:46Speaker 7: were perfect on third and that fourth down conversion. I
- 11:53Speaker 7: mean it was just you got beat kind of thing.
- 11:56Speaker 7: Because the game was called so fair. There is no
- 11:58Speaker 7: like if and butts. You know, it's just kind of
- 12:02Speaker 7: didn't execute. For sure, How I think the month off
- 12:05Speaker 7: hurt us more than it helped or I think the
- 12:08Speaker 7: month off hurt us and it helped Michigan.
- 12:11Speaker 5: How sick are you that it was Michigan and knowing
- 12:14Speaker 5: you're coming into work next day with the boy.
- 12:16Speaker 2: It sucks for sure, I'm not gonna lie. It sucks.
- 12:21Speaker 7: I think because of how the game went, it makes
- 12:24Speaker 7: it a little.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Bit better in a weird way.
- 12:26Speaker 7: It could have been, like Taylor said, like, it definitely
- 12:29Speaker 7: could have been way worse. I mean, we only had
- 12:34Speaker 7: two touchdowns and they were running the ball, and then
- 12:38Speaker 7: somehow we don't run the ball the rest of the game. Yeah,
- 12:43Speaker 7: it blows, but you get beat and it happens. So
- 12:47Speaker 7: now Michigan's just got to go finish the job.
- 12:50Speaker 4: I think it was interesting how Nick Saban, like, if
- 12:53Speaker 4: you give it five sacks in the first half, after
- 12:55Speaker 4: the third sack the kids running for his life. I
- 12:57Speaker 4: just don't understand why a coach arguably the best college
- 13:02Speaker 4: football coach of all time right doesn't make a change
- 13:05Speaker 4: there from a protection standpoint, getting another guy in there
- 13:08Speaker 4: in protection, getting a tight end, keeping the back end
- 13:10Speaker 4: more and just making a little more simple for mill Row,
- 13:14Speaker 4: like give him some easy throws to complete either they
- 13:17Speaker 4: were either trying to take shots or run.
- 13:21Speaker 2: And then the third quarter like it opens back up.
- 13:23Speaker 4: Michigan has done an amazing job in the third quarter
- 13:25Speaker 4: of outscoring their opponents. There's a crazy statistic on that.
- 13:28Speaker 4: But they ran the ball well and then they would
- 13:32Speaker 4: go to throat and complete pass well. Then they get
- 13:33Speaker 4: another chunk play for ten eleven yards and it's like
- 13:36Speaker 4: you can see the key to the the Pats to
- 13:40Speaker 4: success for Alabama was just running the ball until they
- 13:44Speaker 4: said stop. Yep, that's that's I think that's just where
- 13:46Speaker 4: it was, like third.
- 13:48Speaker 2: And longs like that, and there you guys are just
- 13:50Speaker 2: running the ball on third and long.
- 13:51Speaker 7: Like second and long and third long. Happened too much
- 13:54Speaker 7: for Alabama on offense and yeah, like if you're who's
- 13:57Speaker 7: the who's the OC Tommy Reese.
- 13:59Speaker 5: Tommy Reese sabing, like you know, you just gotta be
- 14:02Speaker 5: disappointed because they're talking about it coming out of halftime.
- 14:05Speaker 2: But the old line was just missing on some of
- 14:08Speaker 2: these uh on some of.
- 14:09Speaker 5: These blitzers or just getting beat because uh Milroe is
- 14:12Speaker 5: not a cat, Like I don't mind him taking shots.
- 14:15Speaker 5: But then there's sometimes where they might have a guy
- 14:17Speaker 5: open and he's not even able to get the ball
- 14:19Speaker 5: because somebody's in his face. I can't read back, gets
- 14:21Speaker 5: across the face, late tackle, kind of doesn't know what
- 14:24Speaker 5: to do. He gets smacked like there were so many
- 14:27Speaker 5: like third and longstor with him.
- 14:28Speaker 7: There weren't a lot of opportunity for him to make
- 14:30Speaker 7: a second read because he had to get it out.
- 14:32Speaker 5: That's where I think Milroe he wasn't hitting everything like
- 14:35Speaker 5: he That's that's what hurt. He's not like an accurate well.
- 14:38Speaker 2: There was no flow to the offense.
- 14:39Speaker 7: Every play was starting from scratch, it felt like, And
- 14:43Speaker 7: that's why I think that Michigan game play in the
- 14:45Speaker 7: first half with bringing heat early, don't let him get
- 14:48Speaker 7: comfortable kind of thing. I think going into half, we yeah,
- 14:53Speaker 7: are lucky that it's only a three point game. I
- 14:55Speaker 7: thought Michigan going in at half being excited to have
- 14:59Speaker 7: the lead and us being pissed off was really gonna
- 15:02Speaker 7: work in our favorite in the second half.
- 15:04Speaker 2: And it almost.
- 15:05Speaker 5: Controlling the second half for the most part. There's just
- 15:07Speaker 5: no points getting put on the board. It's like Michigan
- 15:09Speaker 5: felt dominated the first half, but it was only thirteen
- 15:12Speaker 5: to ten.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 15:13Speaker 7: That's what made me feel good because it wasn't a
- 15:16Speaker 7: great ball and it was only a three point game.
- 15:19Speaker 7: And then yeah, when we score or when we kick
- 15:23Speaker 7: three to go or no, when we score, you go
- 15:28Speaker 7: seventeen to ten. I was like, all right, here we go.
- 15:31Speaker 7: Now the defense just gotta play defense. But great game
- 15:36Speaker 7: playing on offense too. The pre snap shit is like,
- 15:41Speaker 7: you know.
- 15:42Speaker 2: The pre snap motions and shifts were next level.
- 15:45Speaker 7: Well, the bunch, I mean, the first touchdown for Blake
- 15:48Speaker 7: Korum is the best I told you this earlier is
- 15:50Speaker 7: the best play Goff ever seen out of Why everyone
- 15:52Speaker 7: doesn't do this? You have three wide receivers run basically
- 15:55Speaker 7: the same route on different levels. It builds a wall
- 15:58Speaker 7: for whoever's guarding the running back to fight through.
- 16:01Speaker 2: You're talking about the first touchdown, Yeah.
- 16:03Speaker 7: And you gotta somehow you got a match speed with Blake.
- 16:06Speaker 7: It's like that's a touchdown. He didn't get touched.
- 16:09Speaker 5: Yeah, but if the backers have better eyes the other backer,
- 16:11Speaker 5: well that's where that's where thirty two was pointing right
- 16:14Speaker 5: right when he goes across right away, like hey you
- 16:16Speaker 5: you but he got his eyes to the bunch.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Second half adjustment.
- 16:19Speaker 7: They Fama reacted quicker to that stuff, prestat, I think,
- 16:24Speaker 7: and that's what helped kind of slow that down a
- 16:26Speaker 7: little bit. But then as the game went on that
- 16:28Speaker 7: that fourth and two, that was my least favorite situation
- 16:33Speaker 7: of the entire game.
- 16:34Speaker 2: When we got the stop.
- 16:35Speaker 7: On third down, was like, all right, four downs even
- 16:38Speaker 7: worse than third town, Like this sucks.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Yeah, And you brought up a good point to in
- 16:42Speaker 4: the beginning, like I didn't know. I looked up JJ
- 16:45Speaker 4: stats after the game and two thirty three touchdowns, sixty
- 16:49Speaker 4: six percent completion. Yeah, that in because I was watching
- 16:53Speaker 4: the game and they were playing these big replays, and
- 16:55Speaker 4: I told you it was like the third quarter, we're
- 16:58Speaker 4: backed up inside the ten and there's a tight end.
- 17:00Speaker 4: He goes and he just has like a little hitch
- 17:02Speaker 4: and he's blanketed by the linebacker. Goes as a linebacker
- 17:05Speaker 4: and it's obvious like he's it was broken up immediately.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Well on the far side of the field with the
- 17:10Speaker 4: one receiver he had separation from you to me where
- 17:13Speaker 4: you put it right there, that's an ex play getting you,
- 17:15Speaker 4: getting you towards midfield. And there just seemed like there
- 17:17Speaker 4: were some plays here and there, You're like, yo, what
- 17:20Speaker 4: is going on? There was a there was a deeper
- 17:22Speaker 4: play where receiver had great separation, came back to the ball,
- 17:26Speaker 4: but the ball was just a little too high overthrown
- 17:27Speaker 4: a little too high, but incredibly impressive, the poise, incredibly
- 17:33Speaker 4: impressedive the poison.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Be able to fight and fight through that.
- 17:35Speaker 4: That play right there with Roman Wilson at the end
- 17:38Speaker 4: of the game, like with like two minutes left, got tipped.
- 17:41Speaker 4: That was a pick, dude, that was a pick and
- 17:44Speaker 4: it was just for him to go up and get that.
- 17:45Speaker 4: And that is right after right after he had the
- 17:48Speaker 4: block in the back call yeah, which I think is
- 17:50Speaker 4: just makes it better. This is the best part about
- 17:53Speaker 4: Michigan when I watched I didn't watch all of Texas
- 17:55Speaker 4: in Washington, but when mistakes were happening on Alabama or
- 18:00Speaker 4: Texas or Washington, you could see like safety's like there
- 18:04Speaker 4: was one where one guy slipped out towards the Michigan
- 18:08Speaker 4: sideline and they didn't do a good job of exchanging it.
- 18:11Speaker 4: The safety starts to go back and even before the
- 18:13Speaker 4: play's over, he's already putting his hands up and then
- 18:15Speaker 4: running to it.
- 18:16Speaker 2: When plays were happening.
- 18:18Speaker 4: I didn't see one time like a palms up type
- 18:20Speaker 4: of bad body and language thing.
- 18:22Speaker 2: And it's kind of to me.
- 18:23Speaker 5: That's just that's just cool culture. That's a cool culture deal.
- 18:26Speaker 4: And it just fired me up, bro, Like this shit
- 18:29Speaker 4: just fired me out that they're legit good because we
- 18:31Speaker 4: all had doubts, Like, I mean, you guys obviously all
- 18:33Speaker 4: picked Alabama, like even going into I mean going into
- 18:37Speaker 4: the game, I'm having doubts. I'm like, man, what if
- 18:39Speaker 4: you see Big Ten just getting smopped all over the
- 18:42Speaker 4: floor Penn State, Ohio State, Iowa shout out jack and
- 18:46Speaker 4: there and their big win, Like you just think, man,
- 18:50Speaker 4: we are Maybe we're just a bad, bad conference.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Which I would now argue that conference.
- 19:01Speaker 5: Well, I think if Ohio State has all their has
- 19:04Speaker 5: their quarterback, has their wide receivers play, if Penn State
- 19:07Speaker 5: has any of their guys play like, it's a different
- 19:10Speaker 5: ball game.
- 19:11Speaker 2: It's a different ballgame. Now.
- 19:12Speaker 4: Do I think the Bay ten should take credit for Michigan? No,
- 19:15Speaker 4: I think the Bag ten doesn't deserve to take credit
- 19:17Speaker 4: for Michigan. They tried everything they could to ruin Michigan,
- 19:21Speaker 4: So the Big Ten doesn't deserve Michigan. The Big Ten,
- 19:25Speaker 4: in my opinion, is over and bowl games except for Maryland.
- 19:27Speaker 4: Maryland is the best team in the Big Ten right now.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Minnesota won their bowl game. Minnesota is in a BOL game.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Who they play.
- 19:35Speaker 5: Bowling Green?
- 19:36Speaker 2: Maybe no, at the ball club out there, Bowling Green, Bowling.
- 19:40Speaker 4: Green gave Michigan fits.
- 19:44Speaker 5: Let's see what here, Northwestern over Utah. Okay, it's a
- 19:53Speaker 5: big it's a wild win. Minnesota for bowling Green, Rutgers
- 19:58Speaker 5: over Miami.
- 20:01Speaker 2: What now? How many all right.
- 20:03Speaker 5: At Big ten West took care of business at Big
- 20:06Speaker 5: ten West?
- 20:07Speaker 2: How many Big ten matchups? What was the outcome al
- 20:11Speaker 2: the bate ten SEC matchups?
- 20:15Speaker 6: Whole Miss beats Penn State, Auburn beats I mean sorry,
- 20:19Speaker 6: Maryland beats Auburn, LSU beats Wisconsin, Tennessee beats Iowa, and
- 20:24Speaker 6: then obviously Michigan beats two and three.
- 20:27Speaker 2: This would be yeah, into one game up, yeah, man,
- 20:32Speaker 2: I mean yeah, the Big Ten.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Just I I just can't believe that they tried to
- 20:38Speaker 4: do that in the middle of the season. That's crazy.
- 20:41Speaker 4: What to spend harball, no due process, the whole thing.
- 20:44Speaker 4: And now we're saying that Ohio State's packing into catapults
- 20:48Speaker 4: and all that.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Yes, zero integrity out in your guys's division.
- 20:52Speaker 4: Yeah, we were about to be independent. I hope we're independent.
- 20:54Speaker 4: I think that'd be a crazy, a crazy switch up.
- 20:58Speaker 5: But I mean many people were trying to take you
- 21:01Speaker 5: guys down because y'all cheated for several weeks.
- 21:03Speaker 4: Shout out the kids, dude, Shout out the University of
- 21:05Speaker 4: Michigan players. When everybody's when everybody's talking shit, everybody's like
- 21:10Speaker 4: the mainstream media and will Comfon are all saying that
- 21:13Speaker 4: there are a bunch of cheaters and to go and
- 21:15Speaker 4: still take care of business with all the university with
- 21:17Speaker 4: that's your head coach in the field and your biggest games.
- 21:19Speaker 4: That that says so much about the culture. Absolutely, that
- 21:22Speaker 4: is insane. To not like waiver or get distracted like
- 21:27Speaker 4: that is very very rare to see a team stick
- 21:30Speaker 4: together like that, and that is just cool.
- 21:32Speaker 2: That's a national title team.
- 21:34Speaker 4: They just seem like they just seem like a team
- 21:36Speaker 4: that like literally, I feel like they all go to
- 21:38Speaker 4: the bar together when.
- 21:40Speaker 5: When I was known, they're probably like, hey, we got
- 21:42Speaker 5: one left, we ain't going.
- 21:43Speaker 2: To the bar together. I like that.
- 21:44Speaker 5: I like that, like the twenty twelve Michigan. No, they
- 21:47Speaker 5: are not them boys. Let's go to yeah, win and lose.
- 21:51Speaker 5: We were still boozing and it was mostly losing.
- 21:54Speaker 7: It was tough out There are the uh the two
- 21:57Speaker 7: white guys on the D line for Michigan.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Yeah, Graham and that McGregor's can we.
- 22:01Speaker 7: Get those guys on the all white team?
- 22:05Speaker 2: Salty cat.
- 22:07Speaker 5: R D line is set? Well we need depth, yeah, yeah,
- 22:11Speaker 5: we got depth like the line. Well, we could use
- 22:15Speaker 5: use of guys on the inside.
- 22:16Speaker 4: You know that uh, that seventeen kid was the one
- 22:19Speaker 4: that was messing with us at springball.
- 22:21Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, he's the one who jumped in the
- 22:23Speaker 5: fucking bush. He was a crazy, crazy mother. I was
- 22:26Speaker 5: fired up when he had that sack like the opening
- 22:28Speaker 5: drive because I want to say Bama might have scored them,
- 22:31Speaker 5: but uh had already scored them. But I thought they
- 22:33Speaker 5: came out. They came out like putting it to that
- 22:35Speaker 5: offensive line.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:37Speaker 4: I did not see that coming because they really didn't
- 22:39Speaker 4: have that type of like the success against offensive lines
- 22:43Speaker 4: in the Big Ten. I thought, man, it's gonna be
- 22:46Speaker 4: tough to get pressure. There's some big boys over there.
- 22:48Speaker 5: At the Crimson time, there they are average, bigger than
- 22:51Speaker 5: every NFL offensive line. Yeah, he said on the broadcast,
- 22:56Speaker 5: how slow are you if you're that big?
- 23:00Speaker 2: How you feel about the National title against Washington? I
- 23:03Speaker 2: feel nervous, I do.
- 23:05Speaker 4: It's crazy to me that Washington is one of those
- 23:07Speaker 4: teams too that have played in so many games being
- 23:09Speaker 4: underdogs and they just continue to win.
- 23:11Speaker 2: It's just they win.
- 23:13Speaker 4: It's nuts, bro. The point underdogs again against Michigan. There
- 23:16Speaker 4: are four point underdogs against Texas. They are underdogs against
- 23:19Speaker 4: Oregon twice.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Like, he's just crazy. I think they're underdogs against USC
- 23:25Speaker 2: and maybe even Utah at one point, Oregon State.
- 23:27Speaker 5: Like, dude, that Pennix kid, they just do survive that
- 23:31Speaker 5: the Oregon State game. But yeah, yeah, yeah, the the
- 23:34Speaker 5: entire year.
- 23:37Speaker 4: Winning, they just they're they're not only surviving, they're thriving.
- 23:40Speaker 4: And so that kid watching that first half against Texas,
- 23:43Speaker 4: because I thought Texas was gonna run away with it.
- 23:45Speaker 4: I thought Texas was gonna win. It was gonna be
- 23:47Speaker 4: Texas and Michigan.
- 23:49Speaker 2: But watching Pennix where he was putting the ball when
- 23:52Speaker 2: there was when there was pressure, him just kind of
- 23:55Speaker 2: moving to the side and handling his pocket presence and
- 23:57Speaker 2: ripping it running when he had to run it like
- 24:00Speaker 2: just very elite football. Elite football.
- 24:05Speaker 7: When I was watching their offense, was like, why couldn't
- 24:08Speaker 7: we just operate on offens?
- 24:10Speaker 2: Like if they could score.
- 24:12Speaker 5: Any moment, Oh, no, doubt have that.
- 24:17Speaker 2: That game comes down to the quarterback.
- 24:19Speaker 5: Sucked that that last play had to be that play call.
- 24:22Speaker 5: That's how that's how much you like for which one?
- 24:26Speaker 2: Oh yeah yeah yeah yeah, that was way yeah.
- 24:30Speaker 4: And he didn't even like get crazy celebrate, like start
- 24:32Speaker 4: running the field at first.
- 24:33Speaker 2: He's just like, do you fucking try that on me? Yeah?
- 24:37Speaker 2: Like it out of that ball. Imagine if you missed.
- 24:42Speaker 2: That was wild. But Washington, dude, their operation towards the
- 24:45Speaker 2: end the game was terrible.
- 24:47Speaker 4: I was watching a little bit, like the last few
- 24:49Speaker 4: minutes of the game, they get their running back hurt
- 24:51Speaker 4: and they should have just took a knee. Would have
- 24:52Speaker 4: been twelve seconds on the clock, twenty seconds in clock,
- 24:54Speaker 4: whatever it was. They decided to run it and they
- 24:58Speaker 4: get stopped. Then the running backs injured, so the the
- 25:00Speaker 4: clack has to stop and they almost lost.
- 25:03Speaker 5: I'll tell you what, they they better strap up for
- 25:06Speaker 5: the Michigan running game.
- 25:08Speaker 2: They're I mean, it's a totally it's a totally different
- 25:11Speaker 2: game play Alabama.
- 25:13Speaker 5: The just because Bama Michigan was just like a fun
- 25:16Speaker 5: matchup to watch, like built similar physical teams.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Going back and forth.
- 25:22Speaker 5: Like it felt like the Texas Washington game was a
- 25:25Speaker 5: lot more like Washington's more finesse than everything else.
- 25:27Speaker 2: So it'd be cool to kind of Washington Michigan game
- 25:29Speaker 2: could be like a shootout.
- 25:32Speaker 5: It could maybe be similar. Maybe shoot out. You got
- 25:35Speaker 5: to give the edge to Washington.
- 25:36Speaker 4: If it turns into a shootout, you would assume edge
- 25:39Speaker 4: Washington because of the way they're able to put the
- 25:41Speaker 4: ball where they are Michigan. The way Michigan wins is
- 25:45Speaker 4: on the ground, taking their shots when they need them and.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Playing incredible defense.
- 25:49Speaker 4: Cause to think you're going to get the pressure on
- 25:52Speaker 4: Pennix the way you did Alabama, it's they They have
- 25:55Speaker 4: the Joe Moore Award winning offensive line. Like their offense
- 25:57Speaker 4: line is well put together, their tackles are well put together.
- 26:00Speaker 4: They do a great job of communication. They handle the
- 26:03Speaker 4: games that Texas is throwing at them. So I don't know,
- 26:06Speaker 4: this would be more a question for you. I don't
- 26:07Speaker 4: know if it's like, hey, you keep a similar game
- 26:09Speaker 4: plan of like hey we're rushing five, we're bringing a
- 26:12Speaker 4: fifth guy every time, or you're putting four and hoping
- 26:15Speaker 4: your games kind of work out and then get guys
- 26:16Speaker 4: in the backhand to cover up.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:18Speaker 5: I don't like if you're like Michigan. To me, they
- 26:22Speaker 5: just did a good job kind of being like, hey,
- 26:23Speaker 5: we're gonna apply pressure, like when you feel like it's situational. Uh,
- 26:27Speaker 5: Penix is a lot better than Milrow. Milrow, you know
- 26:29Speaker 5: you can plus as long as you get it, as
- 26:31Speaker 5: long as you get in his face and get pressure
- 26:32Speaker 5: on him. Penix, you might have to have more guys
- 26:34Speaker 5: in coverage and let your you let your four go
- 26:37Speaker 5: hunt because the four that's going on hunt now, like
- 26:39Speaker 5: they're they're they're good ballplayers, good ball players, and they
- 26:42Speaker 5: have a great rotation keeping guys fresh. Yeah, and it's
- 26:45Speaker 5: not like anybody gets real stagnant. Like you see pressure
- 26:47Speaker 5: coming up the middle, you see pressure coming from inside, outside,
- 26:50Speaker 5: all of it. So I think they're gonna have to
- 26:52Speaker 5: do a good job of getting home with four to
- 26:54Speaker 5: keep as many as they can and coverage.
- 26:56Speaker 2: I agree, because if not Penix Ol, I think they
- 26:59Speaker 2: play he'll be played a zone.
- 27:01Speaker 7: I mean, maybe I'm wrong they played zone in the
- 27:04Speaker 7: back end and then let guys go eat. I don't
- 27:08Speaker 7: know if you can do the zone against Pinnix because
- 27:10Speaker 7: those receivers will sit down with him getting rid of
- 27:13Speaker 7: it that fast.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it'll be it'll just be a lot different.
- 27:16Speaker 5: Like the game plan is going to be so much different,
- 27:18Speaker 5: like you saw with Alabama, Like they sent so much
- 27:20Speaker 5: pressure to the side of the back, like you you
- 27:23Speaker 5: can dictate pressure going to the tight end, to the
- 27:25Speaker 5: open side, to the back, away from the back, to
- 27:28Speaker 5: the passing strength to the weak side. Like with the
- 27:30Speaker 5: Michigan they're doing a lot of it to the backside,
- 27:33Speaker 5: just because all that zone regame. That's why, that's why
- 27:36Speaker 5: there are so many negative plays Like Melroe if he
- 27:38Speaker 5: keeps said he's getting hit because you got to you
- 27:40Speaker 5: got somebody coming off the edge where he doesn't do
- 27:42Speaker 5: a good job of getting it out to the perimeter
- 27:44Speaker 5: once he sees that edge rusher coming, you know what
- 27:46Speaker 5: I mean. Like, if you have that, if you have
- 27:48Speaker 5: like that, if you have like that run pass option
- 27:51Speaker 5: to where it's zone reading, you're reading the end, but
- 27:53Speaker 5: you're also have the option to throw it out wide.
- 27:55Speaker 5: The minute you see that edge guy coming off the edge,
- 27:58Speaker 5: you would hit that receiver. He would slow a couple
- 28:00Speaker 5: of times getting it out like one uh not. The
- 28:03Speaker 5: number three got rocked one play because he got it
- 28:06Speaker 5: out to him late off that cat blitz random and
- 28:09Speaker 5: that was a great play by the defense too. Yeah,
- 28:11Speaker 5: absolutely breaking down. Yeah, they had really good And that's
- 28:14Speaker 5: another thing too. The back end of Michigan did a
- 28:18Speaker 5: great job open field tackling like there'd be white except
- 28:21Speaker 5: for that first one where they wanted to nuts. But
- 28:25Speaker 5: you know, you get back any you could easily fall
- 28:27Speaker 5: into the tank there. But they did a good job
- 28:29Speaker 5: like making plays in the open field against like guys
- 28:32Speaker 5: that are on Alabama.
- 28:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I like that was a crazy move. The only
- 28:36Speaker 4: better move I've seen was the LSU Florida game that
- 28:38Speaker 4: kid blew his knee out. We saw that that move
- 28:41Speaker 4: was nuts and then it ended up you know, happened
- 28:43Speaker 4: the way it happened.
- 28:44Speaker 2: But my god, the feel better. You feel better about
- 28:47Speaker 2: Washington then than Bama.
- 28:49Speaker 5: You have to write, Yeah, I gotta feel like a
- 28:51Speaker 5: massive monkeys off your back because you beat se Bama squad.
- 28:56Speaker 5: You couldn't get out of the first round of the playoffs.
- 28:58Speaker 5: You finally get out of the first round of the
- 28:59Speaker 5: playoffs again spam in the SEC. So I feel like
- 29:02Speaker 5: you're kind of playing with house money. You want the Natty,
- 29:05Speaker 5: you want the Natty.
- 29:07Speaker 4: To me, this based on all the allegations, everything you
- 29:10Speaker 4: just said, everything correct. Like I I do feel like
- 29:13Speaker 4: this massive cyber relief being able to walk in here
- 29:16Speaker 4: and essentially just be like you got I mean, you
- 29:18Speaker 4: guys all did bet against it, and I get it.
- 29:20Speaker 4: I completely understand why. But it's just it's a nice
- 29:22Speaker 4: feeling to be able to walk in and feel that
- 29:24Speaker 4: type of way. But with all the allegations, all the
- 29:26Speaker 4: stuff with Harble and stuff like that, the only way
- 29:28Speaker 4: this movie ends as a blockbuster hit is with Michigan
- 29:33Speaker 4: winning the national championship. That's the only that's the only
- 29:36Speaker 4: way because all the they and I know you said
- 29:40Speaker 4: it's objective of the whether it's tainted or not, subjective,
- 29:45Speaker 4: subjective whatever. To me, it's like when you win, when
- 29:48Speaker 4: you win this game, there's just no one can say anything.
- 29:53Speaker 4: You can try, but you really can't say a fucking thing.
- 29:55Speaker 5: No matter what you guys will be in the history
- 29:57Speaker 5: books as the national as the national champion. No matter
- 30:00Speaker 5: what exactly, be a faded, there'll be an asterisk in there.
- 30:04Speaker 2: And that's right.
- 30:05Speaker 4: People will haters will bring that up. But you can
- 30:08Speaker 4: also say all these allegations came up in the middle
- 30:10Speaker 4: of the season. These players had every reason the cash
- 30:14Speaker 4: it in not stick together, have the excuses like Florida State,
- 30:18Speaker 4: and they like Florida State.
- 30:19Speaker 5: We'll get to them.
- 30:20Speaker 2: My god. Yeah, that talk about a bad culture. It's bad.
- 30:26Speaker 4: But then every opportunity to do that and fold and
- 30:27Speaker 4: they literally just took on the persona of their head coach,
- 30:30Speaker 4: not really answering the media questions. Yeah, like these guys,
- 30:34Speaker 4: these guys look at this guy and don't look at me,
- 30:36Speaker 4: look at this guy, look at that guy.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Like that's like, you know what it's like to be.
- 30:40Speaker 5: In a no question like legitimately culture insane culture, legitimately both
- 30:46Speaker 5: things can be true, you know what I mean. Like
- 30:48Speaker 5: it's it's not like the players are all you guys
- 30:51Speaker 5: chet it. So there's a lot of stuff going on
- 30:52Speaker 5: outside the locker room. That's everybody's trying to investigate you
- 30:55Speaker 5: this and that, Like all that stuff can be true.
- 30:57Speaker 5: While this team is has built the cult so that
- 31:00Speaker 5: it has to kind of like go against all that
- 31:02Speaker 5: all year long.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Because it was Michigan versus everybody.
- 31:05Speaker 5: I think even in that game as was unfolding, it's
- 31:07Speaker 5: kind of I know, for me, it was like it
- 31:10Speaker 5: was harder to root against Michigan because of the cats
- 31:13Speaker 5: like Blake and Yeah and all those guys that are
- 31:16Speaker 5: like staying poison going. Because we sat with Blake and
- 31:19Speaker 5: listened to him and it's like, now they're in the
- 31:21Speaker 5: national title.
- 31:21Speaker 2: But if you look back on when we were sitting
- 31:23Speaker 2: down with him.
- 31:23Speaker 5: Like you could legit be like yo that it's like
- 31:26Speaker 5: a national that's a national title running back mindset, right. Yeah,
- 31:30Speaker 5: So it's just kind of like cool to see and
- 31:31Speaker 5: then he got the touch on everything else. I was like,
- 31:33Speaker 5: fuck but it you know, it's yeah, it's like, hats
- 31:36Speaker 5: off to Michigan. They've been they've been dealing with the
- 31:38Speaker 5: shit all year long.
- 31:39Speaker 4: And Trevor not Trevor King and Zach z Inter being
- 31:42Speaker 4: out too. Yeah, him just staying there on that belly
- 31:46Speaker 4: and they're miss and they handled. Because that was my
- 31:48Speaker 4: biggest word going into it, is like you're missing essentially
- 31:50Speaker 4: your leader, one of the best players in your team,
- 31:52Speaker 4: projected first round pick, and they went and fucking handled it.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Dude. That's the thing that fires me up the most
- 31:57Speaker 2: is the culture of the team. It's so cool.
- 31:59Speaker 4: Did they're not blaming any They're focused, they're they're giving
- 32:02Speaker 4: praise to other people, and hardball is the perfect villain
- 32:07Speaker 4: for like this whole scenario.
- 32:08Speaker 5: You yeah, now, but you almost enjoy watching, Like I
- 32:11Speaker 5: love when the cameras on when all the big plays
- 32:13Speaker 5: were happening, because you see like he's in the moment, like,
- 32:16Speaker 5: y know, we are in a war. Yeah, and plays
- 32:19Speaker 5: got to kind of just go your way, like you
- 32:21Speaker 5: have the muff punt the pick, but then it goes
- 32:24Speaker 5: back the other way. But you're seeing your guys get
- 32:26Speaker 5: home on on sat like on pressures, getting sacks, making
- 32:29Speaker 5: those plays in the open field, and you just slowly
- 32:31Speaker 5: see him smiling and fist pumping like there's a lot
- 32:33Speaker 5: of ball left, but fuck, we are taking care of business.
- 32:36Speaker 5: Yes for that play. Yeah, it's just like fun to
- 32:38Speaker 5: watch truly present in the moment, and that just that
- 32:42Speaker 5: fires me up. There no body that was awesome.
- 32:45Speaker 2: And then the video if you see his dad, Yeah,
- 32:48Speaker 2: it was so funny. Bro our Ball Senior. Should we

- 34:39Speaker 2: I got half of an ad there.
- 34:43Speaker 4: Yeah dude, Yeah, But going back to uh, Michigan and Washington,
- 34:48Speaker 4: it's a completely different game.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Now, Yeah, we'll play.
- 34:50Speaker 4: You're playing a completely different personnel, a better quarterback, a
- 34:53Speaker 4: good offensive line, receivers that have the confidence to go
- 34:57Speaker 4: get it done. A team that also has been counted
- 34:59Speaker 4: out multiple times this year to lose, and you're going
- 35:02Speaker 4: against like two teams that essentially, in one way or
- 35:06Speaker 4: another thing you hit it on.
- 35:07Speaker 5: College fall playoff, got it right, like got it right right,
- 35:11Speaker 5: like two great games. The two undefeated teams, the one
- 35:14Speaker 5: and two seed are playing for the national title. Like
- 35:17Speaker 5: you couldn't have you couldn't have put it together any
- 35:19Speaker 5: better than that.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Let me as see this Devil's advocate Georgia.
- 35:22Speaker 5: No, I mean yeah, Georgia mopped the floor with fucking
- 35:24Speaker 5: Florida State, and Florida State fans were so pissed because
- 35:27Speaker 5: and they're right, I didn't know that they had a
- 35:29Speaker 5: billion people opt out, get injured, all that stuff.
- 35:32Speaker 2: I just saw the score.
- 35:33Speaker 5: I saw those sixties through the three, and I'm just thinking,
- 35:35Speaker 5: holy fuck, they got their asses mopped. But given all
- 35:39Speaker 5: the opt outs, all the injuries, everything else suing this
- 35:42Speaker 5: that the other. Like at the end of the day,
- 35:44Speaker 5: the cars that were dealt to you were dealt to you.
- 35:46Speaker 5: You either got to accept that shit, strap up and
- 35:49Speaker 5: get ready to go play. Give them middle finger to
- 35:51Speaker 5: everybody because you were playing against a great team like Georgia,
- 35:53Speaker 5: Like it's it wasn't like you were going, uh, who's
- 35:56Speaker 5: another team that had like an easy game where it's like, oh,
- 35:58Speaker 5: they didn't belong in this bowl game.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Better organ Liberty, Liberty. It wasn't like you're playing Liberty.
- 36:05Speaker 5: No disrespect to you, Liberty.
- 36:06Speaker 2: Yeah, is what it is.
- 36:08Speaker 5: But you got to still play against a true contender,
- 36:11Speaker 5: and that's a game that you still get up for,
- 36:13Speaker 5: whether or not the backups are in whatever the case
- 36:15Speaker 5: may be. You got to play against Georgia, one of
- 36:18Speaker 5: the best teams in the past five years, maybe arguably
- 36:21Speaker 5: the best team in the past five years, and in
- 36:23Speaker 5: the Georgia Bulldogs and you you just you pack it
- 36:26Speaker 5: in and you bitch and you can plain and you
- 36:28Speaker 5: do this and it's.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Not fair and blah blah blah. All that can be true.
- 36:31Speaker 5: But no matter what, you could still have the opportunity
- 36:33Speaker 5: to strap up and play a New Year's Day Bowl.
- 36:35Speaker 2: That game, you shit the.
- 36:36Speaker 4: Bet that game was over before when it got announced
- 36:39Speaker 4: because the Florida State was so focused on getting away
- 36:42Speaker 4: from the acc and filing lawsuits.
- 36:44Speaker 2: And crying wars.
- 36:45Speaker 5: We're not I'm opting out.
- 36:47Speaker 2: At the end of the day.
- 36:47Speaker 4: We know the structure of college football has changed. However,
- 36:50Speaker 4: it's still a Gladiators game. It's still a best on best.
- 36:53Speaker 4: There's still pride and ego and fight involved in every
- 36:56Speaker 4: single game. And if you are going to treat the
- 36:58Speaker 4: game of football like that, you deserve to get you're
- 37:00Speaker 4: ass blowing out sixty three to three. You guys want
- 37:02Speaker 4: to opt out, get ready for the NFL draft, that is,
- 37:05Speaker 4: that's that's great, go ahead and do that, But it
- 37:08Speaker 4: just seem like Florida State didn't give a fuck.
- 37:11Speaker 5: And my question too, is like, and I don't know
- 37:14Speaker 5: this answer, but you would assume Georgia probably has a
- 37:16Speaker 5: lot of guys on that ross who could opt out
- 37:18Speaker 5: or not playing the game.
- 37:19Speaker 2: I think Brock Bauers was out. I think their best one.
- 37:21Speaker 2: He was kind of dinged up.
- 37:23Speaker 5: And Brock is somebody like if you're a prime time
- 37:26Speaker 5: NFL guy, like, that's where those decisions should get made.
- 37:29Speaker 5: But you're mid later round like and you're opting out
- 37:32Speaker 5: of bulls, X, Y, and Z, that's where it's that's
- 37:36Speaker 5: where it gets softer for me.
- 37:37Speaker 4: That's taking the easy road out right and not accepting
- 37:40Speaker 4: the challenge. If you're a third, fourth, fifth, second, third,
- 37:43Speaker 4: if you're not in the first round, like, obviously one
- 37:46Speaker 4: hundred percent you're gonna go to New York and you're
- 37:47Speaker 4: gonna get drafted. Seeing there in the green room, that
- 37:50Speaker 4: bowl game is an opportunity to go against different and
- 37:52Speaker 4: probably better talent than you have. Absolutely to answer the
- 37:55Speaker 4: bell because the the because the reason why you're opting
- 37:58Speaker 4: out is you're happy with your your body of work,
- 38:01Speaker 4: but you're scared about taking on a new challenge and
- 38:04Speaker 4: hurting your draft stock as opposed to I'm gonna body
- 38:06Speaker 4: These guys risk, yeah, the risk of injuries.
- 38:08Speaker 5: There's stuff out there, like the old miss quarterback when
- 38:11Speaker 5: he his but there, yeah, there there are several stories.
- 38:14Speaker 5: But to your point, like if you're not getting because
- 38:17Speaker 5: I want to say, they give out more first round
- 38:18Speaker 5: grades than who the guys who get drafted, right, like
- 38:21Speaker 5: say fifty first round grades and only you know thirty
- 38:24Speaker 5: of them.
- 38:24Speaker 4: My junior my junior year, when I put in my
- 38:26Speaker 4: draft thing, they told me like, hey, we don't know
- 38:28Speaker 4: what's gonna say, but these are usually very conservative. So
- 38:31Speaker 4: you're not it's gonna look worse than it is.
- 38:33Speaker 5: Got you type of thing if you are, Like if
- 38:35Speaker 5: you're a mid round cat and you're opting out, like
- 38:37Speaker 5: you do get the opt to play against again Georgia,
- 38:40Speaker 5: to put on film like against NFL caliber players because
- 38:43Speaker 5: you're training for the combine extra few weeks of training
- 38:46Speaker 5: for the combine isn't gonna do, Dick bro No, Like
- 38:50Speaker 5: the combine sounds great, it's fantasy football, like it sounds great,
- 38:53Speaker 5: like we were all brain rushed for PROD for the
- 38:56Speaker 5: X y Z. But the minute the combine and the
- 38:58Speaker 5: pro DA's are over, it doesn't matter anymore. In the
- 39:01Speaker 5: in the UH PROTA combine stuff is like twenty percent
- 39:04Speaker 5: of the full picture. Like you're basically leaning on your
- 39:07Speaker 5: tape from calls and everything else. Then you want to
- 39:09Speaker 5: match the tape to hey, how do they test? Where
- 39:11Speaker 5: is there what's their discipline? Like let's get let's talk
- 39:13Speaker 5: to their references, their coaches, everybody around them to get
- 39:15Speaker 5: to know them. But people who are thinking that you
- 39:17Speaker 5: got to train the extra like I gotta go, I
- 39:19Speaker 5: gotta get a leg up, like I'm I promise you
- 39:21Speaker 5: that it does not matter in the.
- 39:23Speaker 4: I agree with most of that, by I think the
- 39:24Speaker 4: percentage is a little high, even for twenty percent being
- 39:26Speaker 4: the combine. If the combine to me is you're right.
- 39:28Speaker 4: The film is what's gonna get you drafted. The combine
- 39:31Speaker 4: is something more than just checking boxes. Hey is he
- 39:34Speaker 4: fast enough?
- 39:35Speaker 5: Yes?
- 39:35Speaker 2: Or no? Are you seeing the combines lower percent? It's
- 39:37Speaker 2: a lower percent. Okay, I'm on board with that.
- 39:40Speaker 5: I about say it was more locking, bro, you were
- 39:42Speaker 5: dogging dudes like you, you run fast, you show up,
- 39:45Speaker 5: you do all the things right then, yeah, like like
- 39:47Speaker 5: you're saying right now, yeah, you need to go.
- 39:49Speaker 2: And check boxes.
- 39:50Speaker 4: Now, if you're an outstanding athlete and you're able to
- 39:52Speaker 4: exceed that, it's gonna help you. But at the end
- 39:54Speaker 4: of the day, it's like off it's line. You get
- 39:55Speaker 4: more than twenty five reps on bench, Yes, check the box.
- 39:58Speaker 4: Everything after that, he's strong enough, you're forty. What's your ten?
- 40:01Speaker 2: Is he fast enough? Or is the slowest?
- 40:02Speaker 5: Shit?
- 40:03Speaker 4: Okay, check the box. Didn't check the box, see the speed.
- 40:05Speaker 4: But the most important thing in the combine is not
- 40:07Speaker 4: even on the field. It's in the meeting rooms. How
- 40:09Speaker 4: your mind is processing a high pressure situation with these coaches,
- 40:13Speaker 4: these gms. Things you thought about since you were a
- 40:15Speaker 4: little kid. Getting all nervous as you're sitting in front
- 40:17Speaker 4: of a you know, Mike Vrabel and these other these
- 40:19Speaker 4: other NFL coaches you've been watching since you were a kid,
- 40:22Speaker 4: and if.
- 40:22Speaker 5: You're a lower round can say you opt out to
- 40:24Speaker 5: do all that stuff and you happen to go to
- 40:25Speaker 5: the combine. I can see a question these days being like,
- 40:27Speaker 5: why'd you opt out for the bowl game?
- 40:29Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 40:29Speaker 5: Against a team like you know, I'm using floorter say
- 40:32Speaker 5: as the example, but against the team like George and
- 40:34Speaker 5: how that gets handled. This probably a look into the
- 40:36Speaker 5: cookie jar, because if you don't, if say, you don't
- 40:39Speaker 5: bench twenty five, then you're gonna be talking to the
- 40:40Speaker 5: strengths and you're gonna be talking to.
- 40:41Speaker 2: The coaches why this that?
- 40:42Speaker 5: Yeah, then it might be justified why he doesn't get
- 40:45Speaker 5: twenty five, Like he still plays with he plays with
- 40:47Speaker 5: tremendous leverage, X, Y and Z, same with the forty,
- 40:50Speaker 5: all that type of stuff you can tell on tape,
- 40:52Speaker 5: like if that is, if he's faster than what he
- 40:54Speaker 5: just showed at the combine or if he kind of
- 40:56Speaker 5: outperformed or surprised you a little bit more. Uh.
- 40:59Speaker 4: The bench press too is kind of a facade because
- 41:02Speaker 4: you how many times you've been in the locker room
- 41:04Speaker 4: in Lincoln Nebraska, and you see some guys that look
- 41:06Speaker 4: like Tarzan are strong as shit, but they don't doesn't
- 41:08Speaker 4: translate on the field, Like the guard for the Bengals.
- 41:11Speaker 4: Somebody told me this. I didn't even I don't even
- 41:13Speaker 4: know if this is a real thing or not. But Kappa,
- 41:15Speaker 4: I believe his name is the kid that was saying
- 41:17Speaker 4: fu Nashville when he was walking off the field a
- 41:18Speaker 4: couple of years ago. He got like below twenty, like
- 41:21Speaker 4: a really bad bench press. He's playing in the league
- 41:24Speaker 4: and he's handled himself at a relatively good level for
- 41:27Speaker 4: a long time. So these things that correlate, it's like
- 41:29Speaker 4: you're checking boxes and what are your mentals? Like that
- 41:32Speaker 4: is that's all the combine is. It is not as
- 41:34Speaker 4: big of a deal as you think it is. You
- 41:36Speaker 4: look the mainstream, you look at the NFL networks and
- 41:38Speaker 4: they're putting up the biggest, you know, job.
- 41:40Speaker 2: Interview of your life. Yeah it's a job interview and
- 41:42Speaker 2: it's big, but it is the most important thing at
- 41:45Speaker 2: the moment moment.
- 41:46Speaker 4: But as soon as that, as soon as you finish,
- 41:48Speaker 4: you take your cleats off, after you're doing with everything,
- 41:51Speaker 4: it no longer matters, and you get another opportunity. You'd say,
- 41:54Speaker 4: you're forty, didn't go the way you want, You got
- 41:55Speaker 4: a pro day coming up to go get that done.
- 41:57Speaker 3: I think the agents are to blame for a lot
- 42:00Speaker 3: of that. They are because it's all for those low
- 42:03Speaker 3: round guys. They don't have the as highly talented agents.
- 42:07Speaker 3: And you know they're sitting there telling them, hey, don't
- 42:10Speaker 3: get hurt, this is where you're gonna go, and just
- 42:12Speaker 3: lying to them because they know they're gonna get paid.
- 42:14Speaker 5: You know, it's one on one at that point, they
- 42:16Speaker 5: can infiltrate their mind thinking like this is not Look,
- 42:18Speaker 5: it's all about getting you to prota a combine. Do
- 42:22Speaker 5: you think by one game you're gonna elevate your stock
- 42:24Speaker 5: that much? If the answer is no, like, hey, you
- 42:26Speaker 5: really need to do what's in the best interest of
- 42:28Speaker 5: you and only you. You've you've the last four or
- 42:31Speaker 5: five years, you've you've sacrificed for the brand, for the
- 42:35Speaker 5: logo and everything else. You've done your stuff. You're not
- 42:37Speaker 5: playing for the national title game like you have to think.
- 42:40Speaker 5: Now you are a business going into the NFL. Is
- 42:43Speaker 5: it worth YadA, YadA, X, Y and Z. And that's
- 42:45Speaker 5: how you know I would assume these agents kind of
- 42:48Speaker 5: infiltrate their mind for a second.
- 42:49Speaker 7: Well, you hope that that kind of ends now that
- 42:52Speaker 7: we go to twelve team playoffs, you would hope that that.
- 42:55Speaker 4: Yeah, but you see thirteen fourteen, fifteen sixteen. Yeah, there's
- 42:59Speaker 4: always gonna be a lot that gray area of who
- 43:01Speaker 4: didn't get in and then you're gonna run into four states.
- 43:03Speaker 5: They were I don't know if you listened to yesterday morning,
- 43:05Speaker 5: but on college game they were kind of talking about
- 43:07Speaker 5: how the shift is gonna go in Kirk Kirk Street
- 43:09Speaker 5: as he is like pro Bowl, Like he wants bowl games,
- 43:12Speaker 5: but he's like, listen, if guys are up and down
- 43:14Speaker 5: they don't want to do it, then just do away
- 43:15Speaker 5: with the bowl games, Like, just focus on the playoff
- 43:18Speaker 5: because you're still gonna get bowl games from there. I
- 43:20Speaker 5: know there's a lot of big business that goes into it,
- 43:22Speaker 5: but it is it's kind of like, you know what, basically,
- 43:25Speaker 5: if you're not in the playoff, they're just like glorified
- 43:27Speaker 5: exhibition games.
- 43:28Speaker 4: Yeah, well you used to turn into because when we played,
- 43:31Speaker 4: it was like you're in the Gator Bowl. You know,
- 43:33Speaker 4: you're not fighting for anything special, right, but you're out
- 43:35Speaker 4: there fighting because you're like, we gotta end this season
- 43:37Speaker 4: in a high note, and there's all these like justifiable
- 43:40Speaker 4: things in your mind telling you I gotta fucking go
- 43:43Speaker 4: after it.
- 43:44Speaker 5: Yeah, because if you're an underclassman or you still got
- 43:46Speaker 5: another year you are trying to you're still trying to
- 43:49Speaker 5: establish yourself. Say you ended on a bad note toward
- 43:51Speaker 5: the end of the year, you get to kind of
- 43:53Speaker 5: get back out there.
- 43:54Speaker 7: I think those bowl games before the College Football Playoff
- 43:58Speaker 7: had so much history to him too, so you were like,
- 44:00Speaker 7: see guys win the Gator Bowl, and you're like, oh,
- 44:02Speaker 7: we're gonna like, we gotta win the Gator Bowl. It
- 44:04Speaker 7: was just cooler, you know, with the bowl games. But
- 44:07Speaker 7: did you see what Kirby Smart said about or after
- 44:10Speaker 7: the Florida State game about everyone needed to see what happened,
- 44:14Speaker 7: like this is why it's important to play, because that's
- 44:17Speaker 7: just unfair for those guys that went out there and
- 44:20Speaker 7: had to do that.
- 44:21Speaker 2: Yeah, he made an incredible point.
- 44:23Speaker 5: I would love to hear what his pitch was to
- 44:25Speaker 5: all the guys where everybody's basically opting in to play.
- 44:27Speaker 2: So many guys are playing, you know what I mean. Culture. Yeah, exactly.
- 44:32Speaker 5: They're not saying that who's it coach and Orf Norvelle
- 44:37Speaker 5: not saying that he's not like a great culture guy.
- 44:38Speaker 5: But tell you, man, they just they you know it
- 44:42Speaker 5: just they had too much low balled for them to
- 44:45Speaker 5: just point the finger everywhere else. And I get it,
- 44:47Speaker 5: I'd be pissed too. But the way this collswall playoff
- 44:49Speaker 5: played out like they got it right. They got it right.
- 44:53Speaker 4: Yeah, Florida State wouldn't have staid a chance versus any
- 44:55Speaker 4: of the any of those teams that were in the playoffs.
- 44:57Speaker 2: No, they wouldn't have.
- 44:58Speaker 4: But a State example is a great example of Michigan
- 45:04Speaker 4: because you see all the adversity, you see all the stuff,
- 45:06Speaker 4: and then the culture difference seeing Michigan versus the Florida
- 45:10Speaker 4: State stuff. They folded, they fold in this situation, and
- 45:13Speaker 4: you obviously see the repercussions for all that versus Georgia
- 45:16Speaker 4: as opposed to Michigan, who didn't let them the noise
- 45:19Speaker 4: get in their ears. And that's there's a lot about
- 45:22Speaker 4: the coaching.
- 45:23Speaker 5: That's a good point. That's a fair point. You guys
- 45:25Speaker 5: cheat it all right, and we win the national championship.
- 45:30Speaker 5: That's just like a right off the shoulder. That has nothing.
- 45:35Speaker 5: I am fired the fuck up for this game, dude. No,
- 45:38Speaker 5: you should be the Michigan squad like, yeah, they're they're
- 45:41Speaker 5: they're a great ball club.
- 45:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I am gonna go.
- 45:44Speaker 4: I think so, right, But in my mind it's like
- 45:48Speaker 4: a Monday as we film. Can I get back in time?
- 45:51Speaker 4: The dude slips some picks on Tuesday? This situation, I
- 45:54Speaker 4: might have to give you guys the burden dip Huh?
- 45:57Speaker 5: I mean that Houston's closer now? Yeah, but you could
- 45:59Speaker 5: drive back? You really about it? You drive back.
- 46:04Speaker 2: Like I have to do that? But I think yeah,
- 46:06Speaker 2: Dave and I were thinks about last night. I think
- 46:07Speaker 2: we're gonna go. You're uh, your road dog. I'm a
- 46:11Speaker 2: rocket road dog. I can get behind the wheel now.
- 46:15Speaker 2: That would be nice. That would be nice. That would
- 46:18Speaker 2: be Did he did? I didn't see his Twitter?
- 46:23Speaker 4: But did he take the money he won from the
- 46:25Speaker 4: Michiane game and put it on Washington?
- 46:27Speaker 2: Washington?
- 46:27Speaker 5: Bro?
- 46:28Speaker 2: Could you imagine? Wait?
- 46:30Speaker 5: What remember money he wanted and put it on Washington
- 46:33Speaker 5: win last night?
- 46:36Speaker 2: Washington?
- 46:36Speaker 6: But I don't think he did.
- 46:42Speaker 5: Yeah, he bet something, but it had to be yo,
- 46:44Speaker 5: a million dollar bet hitting. Oh my god, I can't
- 46:47Speaker 5: imagine I would do I was sitting there and well
- 46:50Speaker 5: Man Cave last night sweating bullets, legs shaking, like just
- 46:54Speaker 5: truly immersed in the game, and like two or three
- 46:57Speaker 5: times I just thought, I cannot imagine what Dave is
- 46:59Speaker 5: going through it Now.
- 47:01Speaker 4: The question is can you do it again? Question is
- 47:03Speaker 4: Dave Portnoy, can you do it again? Double the bet?
- 47:08Speaker 5: You're welcome, fat boy. I shout out and texts say, hey, congratulations.
- 47:13Speaker 5: Dave just responds, You're welcome, dude. That was an insane,
- 47:19Speaker 5: insane game.
- 47:21Speaker 2: It was.
- 47:24Speaker 4: It gives you a lot of hope too, because you
- 47:25Speaker 4: see the firepower of Washington. But then all the mistakes
- 47:28Speaker 4: Michigan made. It's like, you clean them boys up, dude.
- 47:31Speaker 4: You play a clean football game, just a well everyone
- 47:35Speaker 4: does the scheme right, we run the ball efficiently, we
- 47:39Speaker 4: take our shots when we need to handle the time
- 47:42Speaker 4: of possession. You will be national champions. Yes, I'm already nervous.
- 47:52Speaker 5: Man.
- 47:52Speaker 2: Another great another great notch for this one.
- 47:56Speaker 5: Saying that you guys are gonna win this game is
- 47:59Speaker 5: like the whole schedule mess all year long too. Like
- 48:02Speaker 5: I think Garrett was saying it. Somebody said it back there,
- 48:04Speaker 5: like they'll have to play it. They'll have to do
- 48:05Speaker 5: it back to back, next to the next week. Play
- 48:07Speaker 5: good teams, great teams, back to back. So I think
- 48:09Speaker 5: that also helps with the narrative all year long. That
- 48:12Speaker 5: was getting fall like you guys have the easiest schedule. Yeah, yeah,
- 48:18Speaker 5: anything you kind of feel like, should we gotta, we
- 48:20Speaker 5: gotta we got another one next week? Let's get back up,
- 48:22Speaker 5: because it's almost like this entire month you're preparing for.
- 48:26Speaker 4: Ye yeah, well yes, and two game goes into overtime,
- 48:32Speaker 4: much more physical game. Now you get on a plane
- 48:35Speaker 4: and go back. Thank god for Herb their string coach. Yeah,
- 48:39Speaker 4: he's gonna get them right. I don't even know if
- 48:42Speaker 4: Michigan has classes. Boys do not go to one class.
- 48:44Speaker 4: If you do, I'm sure they're not. If their teachers are,
- 48:47Speaker 4: they'll be on board for this. Yeah, lima, so and
- 48:50Speaker 4: so does not have to come today?
- 48:52Speaker 2: Oh my? Should we talk ball? Should we talk football?
- 48:56Speaker 2: Should we hit it? Hit an take it home?
- 48:58Speaker 5: And that to do the optim one later? Sure, we're
- 49:06Speaker 5: talking about Blue Nile is what we're talking about. Do

- 51:36Speaker 5: about fantasy football. How you're in the two week You're
- 51:39Speaker 5: in a two week fight with clump.
- 51:42Speaker 2: Plump is he's got the team to beat GM. He's
- 51:45Speaker 2: a hell of a GM clumps.
- 51:47Speaker 4: To health of a GM. I somehow got the edge
- 51:49Speaker 4: on him. I'm up eight points going into the week two.
- 51:51Speaker 5: Which is a good thing because they were just saying
- 51:52Speaker 5: that because McCaffrey's down.
- 51:55Speaker 2: Oh for real, Yeah, he's got McCaffrey.
- 51:58Speaker 5: Yes, they were gonna play and they're gonna you wrest
- 52:02Speaker 5: them up for the first round.
- 52:04Speaker 4: It's that's that's yeah, that's big. We need that our bet, Garrett.
- 52:10Speaker 4: You're gonna go to the grocery store and film yourself
- 52:12Speaker 4: doing all that stuff.
- 52:15Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 52:15Speaker 7: I think I gotta find the video, but yeah, I
- 52:18Speaker 7: was thinking about it.
- 52:19Speaker 2: Uh, he's got it all set up.
- 52:21Speaker 7: Last night was watching that textas watching game, like, I'm
- 52:25Speaker 7: about to look like such an idiot, but it'll actually
- 52:28Speaker 7: be hilarious.
- 52:29Speaker 2: It'll be funny.
- 52:30Speaker 4: It'd be funny if there was like also, like someone
- 52:32Speaker 4: went with you to film you filming yourself.
- 52:34Speaker 2: We knew one of the stops that it would be. Yeah,
- 52:38Speaker 2: it'll it'll be funny. I actually am kind of looking
- 52:40Speaker 2: forward to it. Let's go. I'm we'll try and make
- 52:43Speaker 2: it like as hype as possible. Do you you got
- 52:47Speaker 2: any uh Michigan merch ideas?
- 52:50Speaker 7: Oh yeah, I was just gonna like, yeah, but to
- 52:55Speaker 7: drop right now, like blue, like roses are blue or
- 52:58Speaker 7: something like that, like I think bars already really you know, no,
- 53:03Speaker 7: we gotta do a bad job of I was like, yeah,
- 53:07Speaker 7: if we do.
- 53:08Speaker 5: Maybe I even saw it, so you know how it
- 53:09Speaker 5: can like marketing can subconsciously get in your brain.
- 53:15Speaker 2: Well if we feel yeah, those are hard, they usually
- 53:17Speaker 2: just give it up to barstool.
- 53:21Speaker 5: But see those aren't blue rope waitit wait wait wait no, no, no, no.
- 53:27Speaker 2: I don't like the helmet on that either. Blue roses,
- 53:30Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. May shirt blue roses.
- 53:34Speaker 7: It should have just been amazed. It's been a maze
- 53:37Speaker 7: shirt with a rose feeling me.
- 53:40Speaker 2: When they go in small just like the score of
- 53:42Speaker 2: the game or something like that. But yeah, we should
- 53:44Speaker 2: we gotta think of something for yeah, we gotta. Well,
- 53:46Speaker 2: we'll do a little thing tank.
- 53:48Speaker 5: After the show. Yes, some merchant be nice, real nice,
- 53:52Speaker 5: real nice.
- 53:54Speaker 2: How do we feel? Go back, that's wild, that's crazy.
- 54:02Speaker 2: The boy in there, that's just like that's the shop.
- 54:05Speaker 5: Now interesting, go back again?
- 54:09Speaker 4: Oh interesting, I'll have to call somebody at Barista.
- 54:13Speaker 6: There.
- 54:13Speaker 2: We are just that old, just that old photo everyone's
- 54:17Speaker 2: out there. Yeah, like the photo they use I think
- 54:19Speaker 2: on the maning Cast.
- 54:21Speaker 4: I know Will was actually trying to get the manning
- 54:23Speaker 4: Cast photo changed and he takes me on the side, like, hey,
- 54:26Speaker 4: you cool with that photo.
- 54:26Speaker 2: I was like, hey, don't worry about it. We're good.
- 54:29Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 54:30Speaker 5: I just when I see the old photo photos of tailor,
- 54:32Speaker 5: I just think, like, we gotta get this ship.
- 54:34Speaker 2: We gotta get something over time, we'll get it. We'll
- 54:37Speaker 2: get it.
- 54:37Speaker 5: Hey, your Instagram you you were posting I forget what
- 54:40Speaker 5: I was probably the first quarter of first half year
- 54:43Speaker 5: you did on Instagram, and that's the one where both
- 54:45Speaker 5: your arms up borrow.
- 54:47Speaker 2: You're just oh a thicker boy.
- 54:49Speaker 8: Man.
- 54:50Speaker 5: It was just crazy because you weren't that thick then,
- 54:52Speaker 5: Like you weren't like.
- 54:53Speaker 4: I was like to eighty then to ninety, maybe like
- 54:56Speaker 4: down twenty for my regular weight.
- 54:57Speaker 5: There's nothing worse than having to be the person who
- 55:00Speaker 5: I got both arms up, scrunching everything up. Yeah, yeah,
- 55:03Speaker 5: like trying to take a photo like that.
- 55:05Speaker 2: I know, I literally found all those photos.
- 55:07Speaker 4: I wanted to put them on in there, and I
- 55:09Speaker 4: was like, I'll just do like quarterly posts and I
- 55:12Speaker 4: finished utail and goes, why don't you just make a
- 55:13Speaker 4: video and then just slide over. I was like, come Onthay,
- 55:16Speaker 4: you know, I don't think about that kind of stuff.
- 55:19Speaker 4: Your video is nice. How would that video take you
- 55:21Speaker 4: to make?
- 55:21Speaker 5: Oh a minute?
- 55:22Speaker 2: Did it?
- 55:22Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 55:23Speaker 2: Yeah, man took me a nice man probably his entire nap?
- 55:27Speaker 5: Oh for real?
- 55:27Speaker 2: Yeah? How long was that nap? Us? A day, hour
- 55:29Speaker 2: and a half?
- 55:30Speaker 5: Two hours? Yeah, like a two hour nap. But like
- 55:34Speaker 5: cause you have to go through I mean I do
- 55:36Speaker 5: it in a bad way. I need to like add
- 55:37Speaker 5: stuff to a folder like as I go. But I was,
- 55:40Speaker 5: I like scrolled through videos of twenty twenty three and
- 55:44Speaker 5: then I took like one hundred and forty and moved
- 55:47Speaker 5: them into a folder, and then from there I just
- 55:48Speaker 5: picked the ones that matched the song.
- 55:50Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, I was banged up.
- 55:53Speaker 5: Whatever night it was vitamins up up, up, lifted and
- 55:58Speaker 5: I was listening to Green Day. Yeah good and listen
- 56:03Speaker 5: to all the old school alternative rock chams from the
- 56:05Speaker 5: two thousands, and I was just it was just in
- 56:09Speaker 5: the zone thinking about boys from back in the day,
- 56:12Speaker 5: to messaging them all, texting them all.
- 56:14Speaker 2: Was that the night of the party?
- 56:17Speaker 5: I can't remember.
- 56:18Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, we got to talk about that party, the
- 56:20Speaker 4: murder mystery party you put on.
- 56:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 56:23Speaker 2: Will surprised his wife Charo with a murder mystery party.
- 56:27Speaker 2: Actors the whole thing.
- 56:29Speaker 4: Like we show up, these actors are like fully bought
- 56:31Speaker 4: in miss Like this guy's name is like mister d
- 56:34Speaker 4: or something like that, and he's got another chick with him.
- 56:36Speaker 4: And Will literally planned the entire thing to where Charles's
- 56:40Speaker 4: friends flew in and then hit in the corner and
- 56:43Speaker 4: then we're sitting there like what do we do, Like
- 56:45Speaker 4: all go in the back when then they show up
- 56:47Speaker 4: and it'll be like an empty room and the guy's gonna.
- 56:48Speaker 2: Show him around.
- 56:49Speaker 4: So Charles gets all excited, She's happy to see everybody.
- 56:52Speaker 4: We get like around to start talking about the game,
- 56:55Speaker 4: and he's like, let me bring out my assistance, more actors,
- 56:57Speaker 4: blah blah blah. First one walks out, Charles s's her
- 57:00Speaker 4: and like literally get goes into tears.
- 57:01Speaker 2: She's so excited.
- 57:03Speaker 4: Next person to walk out another shrilling screech, and the
- 57:06Speaker 4: whole time you just feel the boy's energy, Like, I
- 57:08Speaker 4: really fucking pulled this thing off.
- 57:10Speaker 2: I was about the tear. I've seen her reaction to Susan.
- 57:12Speaker 5: Susan walked out like, let me introduce my actors, like
- 57:14Speaker 5: Taylor saying, and then she dropped it down like this,
- 57:16Speaker 5: and she just erupted like, oh my gosh, and we go,
- 57:21Speaker 5: we go through this.
- 57:22Speaker 4: No, I'm trying to paint the picture for you should
- 57:24Speaker 4: definitely be the one to tell a story. But like
- 57:25Speaker 4: all her friends came dinner, there was like chefs in
- 57:28Speaker 4: the back. Everyone gets a name tag. If you had
- 57:29Speaker 4: a name tag, you're a suspect. And the two other
- 57:32Speaker 4: actors were also suspects. And you get these like folders
- 57:35Speaker 4: to write down information and like every scene or every act,
- 57:39Speaker 4: essentially you flip a page to learn more about your
- 57:41Speaker 4: character and kind of take here where you want to go.
- 57:43Speaker 4: There's money to bribe people with that have to answer
- 57:45Speaker 4: the question if you give them a dollar.
- 57:47Speaker 5: It is a sick stick thing. It is a murder mystery. Look,
- 57:53Speaker 5: Taylor did a great job right there. I would love
- 57:55Speaker 5: to take all the credit in the world, Like did
- 57:57Speaker 5: I vision the whole thing?
- 57:58Speaker 2: Sure?
- 57:59Speaker 5: But there were so many like Charles's friends were helpful,
- 58:03Speaker 5: Like our nanny was super devil. She like booked the companies.
- 58:06Speaker 5: She like found like two to three different ones. And
- 58:08Speaker 5: I was like, just figure out which one that you
- 58:09Speaker 5: would that you would do if you did a murder
- 58:11Speaker 5: mystery party murder?
- 58:14Speaker 2: Well, do you want to what happened? Was?
- 58:17Speaker 5: Is so like a spoiler.
- 58:18Speaker 4: They were going on no before you said, explain like
- 58:22Speaker 4: kind of the game a little bit?
- 58:23Speaker 2: Okay, I want to see.
- 58:26Speaker 5: But I'm throwing a lot of flowers at Charles's friends,
- 58:28Speaker 5: like they basically helped me out, Like I basically thought
- 58:31Speaker 5: of the painting, They filled in all of it. They
- 58:33Speaker 5: did everything. They're like, hey, did you think about childcare
- 58:36Speaker 5: for this day? Hey, so on Friday, what do you
- 58:38Speaker 5: think we're gonna do? Because I was going out to
- 58:39Speaker 5: the Arizona Bowl, so it was fly her friends in
- 58:41Speaker 5: and then when you'd see them all Charles was trying
- 58:43Speaker 5: to play stuff for the weekend.
- 58:44Speaker 2: I was like, I just leave open.
- 58:45Speaker 5: I gotta I got something in the works for you,
- 58:47Speaker 5: Like you can go do this, but make sure you're
- 58:50Speaker 5: free during.
- 58:50Speaker 2: This time to make it to not give it away.
- 58:52Speaker 5: But basically, once her friends were there, they stayed until Sunday,
- 58:55Speaker 5: so they stayed all weekend. They had the airbnb. Got
- 58:57Speaker 5: an Airbnb for him, like the whole nine. And so
- 59:00Speaker 5: when we go to the Murder Mystery party, I have
- 59:03Speaker 5: a dinner reservation planned for us. I'm like, hey, I'm
- 59:05Speaker 5: taking you to a dinner spot of when we haven't
- 59:07Speaker 5: been to before. And then after that, like, let's go
- 59:10Speaker 5: get a couple drinks. I got childcare force, Like, let's
- 59:12Speaker 5: go get a couple of drinks at a speakeasy and
- 59:15Speaker 5: just kind of lean into it and just kind of role.
- 59:16Speaker 2: Play a little bit, you know, get a little spicy.
- 59:20Speaker 5: So she like wore she like wore dress, and I
- 59:22Speaker 5: wore like a colored shirt and a tie, just for
- 59:25Speaker 5: the foundational stuff. To get to the house, drive to
- 59:28Speaker 5: the airbnb, pull up. Then I take out nineteen twenty successories,
- 59:31Speaker 5: like I put on the the uh suspenders that I
- 59:34Speaker 5: had on out there, my newsboy hat, get her accessories
- 59:37Speaker 5: like pearl necklace, scarf, stuff like that. We walk in
- 59:40Speaker 5: and all the surprises happened. So when the murder mystery starts,
- 59:43Speaker 5: he basically sets up as Taylor, saying, we all get binders,
- 59:47Speaker 5: but we any of us could be the killer. We
- 59:50Speaker 5: don't know who the killer is. Not even the killer
- 59:52Speaker 5: knows who they are. You're basically playing an entire game
- 59:53Speaker 5: of clue, and then you try and figure it out
- 59:56Speaker 5: at the end. So then like Taylor got a right,
- 59:59Speaker 5: Charro was the killer. Charl and her team we split
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: up in the teams of three. They randomize it too,
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: so people that didn't know each other were playing together.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: It just it was.
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: Really cool because it it's like you're forced to talk
- 1:00:09Speaker 5: to and communicate with everybody, like it is a a
- 1:00:12Speaker 5: murder mystery party is a perfect like adult style ice
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: bring night.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Yeah yeah yeah.
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: Getting different groups around each other probably be like Werewolf,
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: Like you're playing with a big group people don't really
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: know each other. You just get achlemn and then like
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: if I go with to Taylor, I'm like, hey, you know,
- 1:00:27Speaker 5: what business did you have with so and so with
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: with with Ivan stoned, and Taylor be like, you know,
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: hold out his hand because you got to work to
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: get questions answered and have money because you can run
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: out of money. But you're working all these different acts.
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: Then you eat in the middle, you try and put
- 1:00:42Speaker 5: stuff together. Another murder happens in the middle of the investigation,
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: which switches it up, and as Taylor was saying, each act,
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: you learn another clue about yourself and the goal of
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: like what you're trying to keep secret, but you have
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: dirt on somebody else and you're trying to pry it
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: out of everybody. And then at the end, everyone kind
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: of says who they think the murderer is, and again
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: it be you. So you're basically just trying to You're
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: playing a massive, real life game of clue.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: It's awesome.
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: And the icebreaker partner was my favorite because when everyone's
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: kind of getting there, it's like Charles's friends Will and
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: Charles's friends, and it was like Me, Donnie, Caleb and Tayling,
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: like everyone's.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: Kind of our neighbors, even our neighbors.
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: They're in there because Caleb and them come in and
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: they don't really know everybody.
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: So everyone's kind of clicked up like a high school.
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: But the minute you start counting people off, he count
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: people off by six. There was eighteen people, so six
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: teams of three we are now like all kind of
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: mixed hodgepodge to where like we now have to work
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: together as a team and learn about each other, and
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: then you go to talk to other people. It's where
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: it's not like a your hangout with just the people
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: you know, like you're getting to know everybody in a
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: very unique setting. I thought it was cool how the
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: killer didn't know that they were the killer. Yeah, because
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: we both walked into it thinking we hope we're not
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: the killer.
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: I know, the way we could work together game it up.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: Yeah, we're trying to get the thing going. It was dude,
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: it was so much fun, so much fun.
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: And then after the reason why this whole story got
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: brought up is we got a little banged up. Hit
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: the vitamins right after and will I.
- 1:01:59Speaker 5: Got banged two nights in a row, did you I'm
- 1:02:01Speaker 5: talking no, no, not two nights in a row.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: I'm thinking of New Year's Eve. But yes, yeah, yeah,
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: So we finished and it was great, like it really
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: was great. But there were like multiple holes. Yeah, there
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: were multiple holes in the like the the game, like
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: a lot of stuff kind of didn't add up. You
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: kind of had to fill in the pieces for yourself
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: because like the papers didn't give you that or whatever,
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: and Will's little banged up and he starts being constructively
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: critical about the actors. He thinks they left.
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: Buddy's standing right behind him like he's just like, yeah,
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: next time, we gotta get guys that are gonna probably
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: buy and gota we got to vet the company to
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: make sure they buy in a little bit more.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: I thought so. And he's sitting right there and he's like,
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: hope you guys had fun. Here's my business card if
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: you want to do it together.
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: But they did.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: They did good.
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: He did a really good job of being their characters
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: and everything else. It got confusing a couple of times
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: because people are asking questions saying like you said this earlier,
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: and the gal was, oh no, and I didn't say
- 1:03:01Speaker 5: it that way.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: I said it this way. So there was just some
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: holes because it felt a little not rushed.
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: But when when they're when we were sitting down to
- 1:03:08Speaker 5: have dinner and they're like, hey, are we ready to murder,
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: I'm thinking, like, yo, you almost disregard the food because
- 1:03:12Speaker 5: you're still going to walk around and talk to everybody
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: and get some more out of it. But it almost
- 1:03:16Speaker 5: felt like it was a little too condensed, Yeah, it
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: could have been another hour. Yeah, because right when we
- 1:03:21Speaker 5: walked in, like when we pulled up to the airbnb,
- 1:03:23Speaker 5: char I was like, so, so what do you have planned?
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: And I was like, oh, we gotta. I got a
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: private dinner with a private chef.
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: And then when he opens the door, dude is in
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: full character talking to Char like, welcome to the murder mystery.
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: I was like, I kind of wish you would have
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: said that, but yeah, let's go on in it. Walked
- 1:03:36Speaker 5: to the back room, see our local friends, and then
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: it could not have went any better.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: It was aw time, It was awesome. We should we
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: should just have one.
- 1:03:44Speaker 5: Yeah, get the color, Yeah, get the gals in, get
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: some friends, like do a big one, he said, ideally,
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: like he likes to do where it's teams of four,
- 1:03:52Speaker 5: but it's a lot of fun. Like again, you have
- 1:03:54Speaker 5: somebody who's controlling the binder. We had somebody who's taking
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: notes with the binder. We had somebody controlling the controlling
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: the cash, like being the treasurer. And then somebody who
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: would like do the lead role of walking around talking
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: like doing the negotiator, trying to negotiate or get some
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: get some facts. Out, but it's a lot of highly
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: recommend murderer mystery parties.
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: And also to give flowers well. Compton was voted best
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: Actor and Taylor was voted Best Actress.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: It was nice. It was nice long way.
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: It was due.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: It was a lot of fun. And it's like the
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: game within the game.
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: Like, uh, Caleb just leaves his binder in the corner
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: and I go up to the guy hosting and I go, hey,
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: if somebody just leaves their binder, like, I can just
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: it's fair to just go through it, right. He's like, yeah,
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: you can do whatever you want. So I started going
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: through his binder.
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: Didn't talk to Caleb the rest of the night because
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: I had all of his information, took his cashay took
- 1:04:47Speaker 5: his cash, ended up giving the cash back.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: But I also I won the award for best.
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: Thief, so that was nice. That was a nice deal.
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: It was fun, dude. But Charo ended up being the killer.
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: She was greta yeah, but Charle, like I tumbled upon
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: the answer, give yourself more credit than that.
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: We broke it down.
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: We know you try not to give you like you
- 1:05:06Speaker 5: played a good game. You got it right.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: It was fun. I got the answer correct, Chorro.
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: It was like, if multiple teams get it right, whoever
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: is the best description and the most correct description of
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: why they did it? You know, a couple of bullet
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: points of why she was a killer Charo had a
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: full fucking multiple paragraph this is why she did this
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: is when she did it.
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: The whole thing, like to a t figured out she
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: lives for that kind of stuff. That was a lot
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: of fun.
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: And it's one of those things too, you go to
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: a murder mystery party and like you've got to buy
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: in otherwise you're like, this shit's you. You could easily
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: be like this ship's lame wanted. And the fact that
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: everyone kind of bought in, even Caleb who was little Willie,
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: who was obviously written as a black guy. It was
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: he said, as Binder Lily said, black speak in it.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: Nah, I can't remember. Saw.
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: It was a lot of fun. And then with the
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: boys on the Arizonable that was cool too.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: Yeah, the Arizonable was all time. It did a good job.
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: Like I was talking to I knew, the Cody coordinator
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: for Toledo, and he was just talking about how that
- 1:06:14Speaker 5: entire week, like Barsel crushes it with how they do
- 1:06:16Speaker 5: their Bowl Games. But yeah, I mean that was fun.
- 1:06:19Speaker 5: It was kind of weird doing the CW and the
- 1:06:22Speaker 5: really highly produced thing because we had to cut out
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: multiple segments because the duke game was running over, so
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: then it condensed everything down. Like all in all, I
- 1:06:31Speaker 5: probably spoke like twenty seconds total during the entire thing,
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: Like we had to really crunch a lot of stuff
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: in like Casey had to basically just you know, transition
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: it to this interview, that interview Coach Bowlesley even this that.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: But it was cool in that money line hit, thank god. Yeah,
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: because it was not great for a little bit.
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: Yeah, I was down because we picked obviously Wyoming to
- 1:06:54Speaker 5: cover minus four and a half on bet the bus,
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: and I was in. Yeah, well I was one of them.
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: They were in on a parlay with money line Wyoming
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: and then money line Pin State that obviously got you know,
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: Penn State got mopped, and then I had straight up
- 1:07:11Speaker 5: Wyoming minus score and a half that wasn't happening. So
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: I make an emotional bet fourth quarter there down Toledo's driving.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: A little bit.
- 1:07:16Speaker 5: I'm like I'm going Wyoming money line and it hits
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: and just fireworks.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: Lost a little lost. Yeah, oh yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: but that.
- 1:07:29Speaker 4: That offensive lineman catching the screen in that game in
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: the first quarter and like running at forty yards. Did
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: y'all watch the game, dude, kill They run a screen
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: and the running back like touches the ball and it
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: falls out of his hands and then it falls into
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: the lap of this offensive lineman.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: He trucks it all the way down. The rules must
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: be different in college.
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: So I feel like if an eligible receiver touches the
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: ball and then an ineligible number gets the ball, it
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: should have been it's okay to advance, at least in
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: the NFL.
- 1:07:57Speaker 5: So the producer who was in our ear because you
- 1:07:59Speaker 5: didn't have a headset on, like when they were trying
- 1:08:01Speaker 5: to explain that, he was trying to cut in and say,
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: if it's a defender or a referee tips it, that's
- 1:08:07Speaker 5: where that would have been a legal play got But
- 1:08:10Speaker 5: since it was his own offensive teammate, that's why they
- 1:08:13Speaker 5: took it away, which did sucked up with housed it too,
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: Like I don knew what to do with.
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: The ball at Oxygen the whole thing after that, dude,
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: it was it was so cool and so that got
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: taken away, and I want to bring this up Lions
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: end of the game this.
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: Year or this week. Detroit Lions, Detroit Lions, NFL ball.
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: Dude, NFL ball going for two Ballzy letting him hang,
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: Dan Campbell letting it hang, and they call a play
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: to Taylor Decker. And I explained this in a little
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: bit of a recap on my Instagram, but Decker actually
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: reached out to me. He's like, you're exactly right, Like
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: you walk up, you bring multiple offensive linemen to the table,
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: and then he reports to kind of throw off the
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: defense because they know seventy or whoever is going to
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: usually be the guy that reports. This should have been
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: a touchdown. The Lions should have won this game.
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: Got two guys coming after him, coming after him, and
- 1:09:06Speaker 5: it kills the Lions because they would have been fighting
- 1:09:07Speaker 5: for that one spot right and now they can't.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: And then the Cowboys.
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: So what are they saying that he didn't report. They're
- 1:09:13Speaker 4: saying that he didn't report. They're saying that they called
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: him ineligible. And they said that's seventy reporter, but not Decker.
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: If you go to like a slow moo, you can
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: see Decker bring his hands to his chest. You don't
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: and Brad Allen, the head referee.
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: What's that? Also pointed like, go talk to the right now.
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: The head referee, Brad Allen. He you see him look
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: at Decker and seems as if he acknowledges him and
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: then goes off. This is the problem is this Brad
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: Allen guy apparently has already had a couple of miss
- 1:09:43Speaker 4: calls throughout the season. I believe it was the Packers
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: and the Chiefs. There was a no call DPI that
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: really sealed the game. Uh not in favor of the
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: Chiefs who won that game. Anyway, he messed it up
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: real bad to the point. Yeah, to the point where
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: it's like just a like this guy needs to probably
- 1:10:01Speaker 4: go to prison. That's just crazy, absolutely crazy.
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: Yeah, you gotta hang him up. You need to turn
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: in your iPad. Yeah.
- 1:10:09Speaker 4: Dan Campbell in his postgame press conference is like, I
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: don't even want to talk about it. There's nothing that
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: I don't want to talk about. Blah blah ball like this.
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: That was a major killer, a major killer. And it's
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: And somebody brought up a good point of Detroit making
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: the playoffs for the first time and however long winning
- 1:10:25Speaker 4: their division since like the nineties or something like that.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: Ninety three. It was two years old when that happened.
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: Now you're taking away home games for Detroit, taking away
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: money from the franchise, seeing away money from the city,
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: like big brain level thing that I'm not even thinking
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: about because of the referee wasn't present in the moment
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: to truly dial in. Okay, this guy's reporting, this guy's
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: not reporting, or they're both reporting. That is just you
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: can't have that. You cannot have that in football. This
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: is why the ref's gotta be better. It's it's been
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: a it's been a product of the conversation for so long.
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: How there's so much greyer and decisions and the human error.
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: You cannot have that.
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: You can't have it. Like he didn't he was.
- 1:11:11Speaker 4: But because of the formation, seventy was an ineligible number
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: because he was in a tight end position, but he
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: was covered up. Now the wide receiver, he's off the
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: ball and Decker's on the ball, making him the eligible
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: receiver since he reported eligible. So naughty played by this
- 1:11:25Speaker 4: lying crazy But you see him go up like why
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: would Decker walk up there?
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: Hey, I'm not reporting.
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: It's like it's it doesn't make any sense because you
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: want multiple guys to go up there, and you have
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: your six man going to say, I'm reporting, and Decker
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: all the same reporting. But the defense is probably thinking, oh,
- 1:11:40Speaker 4: here comes seventy or whatever the number is is now.
- 1:11:42Speaker 7: Reporting Camill like run the ress through the possibility that
- 1:11:47Speaker 7: they might run these plays too.
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: That is, Yeah, that's what.
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: You say, Hey, these are the gadgets we have in
- 1:11:53Speaker 4: these are the specials we have in this This number
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: could report, that number could report.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: It's just this DB's pretty handsy, makes sure you keep
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: your eye on it.
- 1:12:01Speaker 7: I think eventually you just got to be able to
- 1:12:03Speaker 7: review that stuff. Like how do you get around because
- 1:12:07Speaker 7: like you're saying, like in the moment, not being able
- 1:12:09Speaker 7: to be present to make the correct call with all
- 1:12:12Speaker 7: the reviews that you do have that change games or
- 1:12:15Speaker 7: you know.
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know. That one's more of like a hearsay.
- 1:12:18Speaker 5: He's just saying that, you know, the ref basically dine
- 1:12:21Speaker 5: on his hill.
- 1:12:22Speaker 4: Yeah, because now you get into a point where now
- 1:12:24Speaker 4: you're reviewing dead dead time in games, which leaves more
- 1:12:29Speaker 4: up for interpretation. Now you have to elevate that to
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: where you're literally putting mics on every player now, so
- 1:12:34Speaker 4: that the conversations can be heard when they go review
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: those types of plays. They this is a there's a
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: lot of gray area and the rules of the NFL
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: college all of it, but this is an excusable act
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: from a referee standpoint. If you need to be able
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: to that's your job is to be present in the moment.
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: You can't just assume things are going on. Yeah, that's terrible,
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: terrible ball. God, that pisses me. I feel bad for
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: the Lions.
- 1:12:59Speaker 5: So yeah, Lions can't I mean Lions right now are
- 1:13:04Speaker 5: still hosting a playoff game. Yeah, I think that the
- 1:13:07Speaker 5: two seed, but you're you're right about the one seed. Like,
- 1:13:09Speaker 5: get running through there, because even if the forty nine
- 1:13:11Speaker 5: ers lost this week, Cowboys still have the shot to
- 1:13:14Speaker 5: go up to one.
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: Yeah, with the Lions losing that game, the Niners clinch
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: the one seed. Oh they clinched already. They clinched the
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: one seed.
- 1:13:23Speaker 4: But if the Lions win that game, now, Christian McCaffrey
- 1:13:27Speaker 4: is not sitting out. He has to play in this game,
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: and they have to win their game against the Rams
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: to uh become the one seed.
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: Well, how do you see this all shaping up? You
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: gotta pull it. Yeah, pull pull up.
- 1:13:39Speaker 5: You think so Raven's gonna win it all?
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: I think the clearest the clearest path here is forty
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: nine Ers Ravens Super Bowl. Those are those teams that
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: way seems that way, but you get into the tournament
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: nineteen Titans versus the one seed.
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: Ravens at the bank. Yeah, I'm playing the bill. I
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: think the Bills over the Browns. I'm pulling damage.
- 1:14:02Speaker 5: I'm pulling for the Browns and Bills. Dude on the
- 1:14:05Speaker 5: AFC side, Yeah, I can get on board with that.
- 1:14:08Speaker 5: About think about going to the Super Bowl throning dethrowning
- 1:14:13Speaker 5: Lamar Jackson in Baltimore And.
- 1:14:16Speaker 4: Yes, and you got Cleveland Brown fans chanting Joe Flackler's
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: dame when he was with the Ravens for however long.
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just crazy how this world is. Well, who's
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: that comedian Stavvy Yo, he's so funny, bro. Yeah.
- 1:14:28Speaker 4: But I mean, I feel like we've gone from the
- 1:14:31Speaker 4: AFC in the beginning of the season looking like this
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: is the toughest division. So now I think the NFC
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: is the strongest division going in the playoffs. Talking about
- 1:14:41Speaker 4: the conference because Miami, Miami has obvious holes. Kansas City
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: is showing they have obvious holes. I can't be Buffalo.
- 1:14:49Speaker 5: Yeah, I was gonna say, like you look at Green Bay, uh,
- 1:14:53Speaker 5: Tampa Bay and even Philly.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: Now Philly just lost to the.
- 1:14:57Speaker 4: And they they play the Giants this week and who knows,
- 1:15:00Speaker 4: who knows what's gonna happen there because they're kind of
- 1:15:03Speaker 4: falling apart. They're in the opposite of what they did
- 1:15:04Speaker 4: in years past. They're getting colder as the season goes on, yeah,
- 1:15:07Speaker 4: as opposed to just getting stronger. But I think the
- 1:15:11Speaker 4: picture is much more clear on the NFC side for me,
- 1:15:13Speaker 4: Like the forty nine Ers are the best team, even
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: though they got dusted by the They lost real bad
- 1:15:21Speaker 4: to the Baltimore Ravens. Ravens Ravens are by the Dolphins
- 1:15:26Speaker 4: out people. It is crazy, But I'm anxious to see
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: what that bye week, what happens to the Ravens because
- 1:15:33Speaker 4: my only sample size is twenty nineteen Leve which I've
- 1:15:35Speaker 4: already brought up.
- 1:15:36Speaker 5: Is what you gotta love too is all of Lamar's
- 1:15:39Speaker 5: postgame postgame conversations. You can just tell he does not
- 1:15:43Speaker 5: give a fuck about what just happened. Yes, like it's
- 1:15:45Speaker 5: all it's it's Super Bowl this year of bus. Basically,
- 1:15:48Speaker 5: he doesn't care. And I love listening to him on
- 1:15:51Speaker 5: his postgame conversations because you can just see it like
- 1:15:53Speaker 5: he's he wants the Lombardi.
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: He doesn't care about nothing else. He's like, hey, yeah,
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: everybody played, well, yeah, it was a good game.
- 1:16:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: He really doesn't say a lot, and I just love it.
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: You can just tell he's focused.
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: But I like of the besides Baltimore Ravens. I like Buffalo.
- 1:16:12Speaker 4: I like Buffalo in this. I think they beat the Chiefs. Yeah,
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: I think they're.
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: Gonna I think you got a Jacksonville in it right now.
- 1:16:22Speaker 4: Yeah, and this week here, this week will be big
- 1:16:27Speaker 4: if Jacksonville loses and the Colts win, Colts take the division.
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: Crazy.
- 1:16:33Speaker 5: So it looks like, uh, it's a winning in game
- 1:16:36Speaker 5: with with the Colts and the Texans because Texans are
- 1:16:40Speaker 5: nine and seven.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: Yeah, but there's there's a bunch of isn't there a
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: bunch of like tiebreakers? So let's go to the standings
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: here AFC standings. I think the Bengals are out. I
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: think they got eliminated.
- 1:16:55Speaker 5: Yeah, Uh, Texans are on the outside looking in, so
- 1:16:57Speaker 5: they're the first team in the Hunt basically, so this
- 1:17:00Speaker 5: a win and in game between the Colston Texans. Oh
- 1:17:03Speaker 5: that's awesome, that is cool, and it's just wait, this
- 1:17:10Speaker 5: would be weird. Now if the Steelers win, are they
- 1:17:14Speaker 5: in what's there?
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: What's their record?
- 1:17:18Speaker 5: They're nine and seven as well? Their number two uh
- 1:17:21Speaker 5: in the Hunt? Yeah, I would assume. So Steelers need
- 1:17:26Speaker 5: to win in Texas to lose, right, No, Jack, can
- 1:17:32Speaker 5: you look up Steelers playoff scenarios?
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: God, you gotta love it, man. Yeah, this ball is
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: shaping up great in the end of the season.
- 1:17:50Speaker 5: Can the Titans knock off the Jags?
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: Did? Jacks have too much? But here's all the Steelers playoffs.
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: Steve have five playoff scenarios. So yeah, they're not winning in.
- 1:18:08Speaker 5: Wait wait wait Steelers. Oh Steelers with the Steelers, Steelers winning,
- 1:18:13Speaker 5: Jack War, Jaguars loss or tie, Steelers win in Buffalo loss,
- 1:18:18Speaker 5: Steelers win in Colts Texans high. Who's Buffalo playing Buffalo's
- 1:18:24Speaker 5: I think they're playing Miami for the division.
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's their best scenario.
- 1:18:29Speaker 4: They gotta win because I feel I believe the Ravens
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: will sit a bunch of guys.
- 1:18:33Speaker 5: It's time you've already, you've.
- 1:18:35Speaker 4: Already clinched the one seed in the AFC, Like you
- 1:18:37Speaker 4: don't want to get a bunch of guys hurt, maybe
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: playing for a quarter or two like a preseason game,
- 1:18:41Speaker 4: and then after that, so you gotta think the Steelers
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: are gonna win that game because they're playing for more
- 1:18:45Speaker 4: than the Ravens are playing. And then yeah, Buffalo, but
- 1:18:49Speaker 4: I feel like I feel like Buffalo is gonna beat Miami.
- 1:18:55Speaker 5: I'll tell you what you gotta look out for right now.
- 1:18:59Speaker 4: No wait, wait, wait, wait wait, Raiders are eliminated too, Yeah,
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: never mind, Chiefs are Chiefs are one the AC West
- 1:19:08Speaker 4: that you're looking at.
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: Yeah, they've already clinched right now. The Chargers are favored
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: one and a half against the Chiefs.
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: Yeah, but I've also they can't go up or down
- 1:19:17Speaker 4: in their rankings. Yeah yeah, so they're gonna probably sit guys.
- 1:19:21Speaker 5: I don't know if they can afford to. You gotta
- 1:19:23Speaker 5: you gotta put together. They had another drop, another big
- 1:19:27Speaker 5: drop this past week. No, the Chiefs are so weird, man,
- 1:19:31Speaker 5: because they are a team. You look at it like
- 1:19:32Speaker 5: they're not Super Bowl contenders this year, But then again,
- 1:19:34Speaker 5: it's the Chiefs, so the minute we all start saying,
- 1:19:37Speaker 5: we all pull a little confident, we say they're done.
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: This is when they just go back. But this is
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: where you're most confident about Chiefs Kingdom falling this year. Yeah,
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: I mean, I agree. I don't think they're gonna make
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: the Super Bowl.
- 1:19:51Speaker 5: Right now as it stands, they would be playing against Buffalo,
- 1:19:55Speaker 5: and you take Buffalo in that, No they I don't
- 1:19:59Speaker 5: think they will though, because if Buffalo loses, they'll fall
- 1:20:02Speaker 5: prior to the seven. Who knows, who knows?
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: Maybe they still there?
- 1:20:06Speaker 5: Are you?
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: The playoff scenario so wild.
- 1:20:07Speaker 5: If Buffalo, if they win, then they win the division,
- 1:20:09Speaker 5: so they'll be the They'll Buffalo can go from the
- 1:20:11Speaker 5: six seed all the way to the two seed with win. Yeah,
- 1:20:16Speaker 5: that'd be crazy, and then playing in Buffalo would be nuts.
- 1:20:21Speaker 5: In January yikes, Yeah, after he was they were essentially
- 1:20:28Speaker 5: pronounced dead.
- 1:20:31Speaker 4: That's gonna be a great game. That'll be a fun
- 1:20:33Speaker 4: game to watch. I like the I think the Rams
- 1:20:35Speaker 4: are playing the Niners as well. Like the Rams in
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: that game.
- 1:20:39Speaker 5: We were talking about the AFC where I'm rooting for Brains,
- 1:20:42Speaker 5: Browns and Bills, I'm kind of pulling for the Rams.
- 1:20:45Speaker 5: Niners there one seed if they go like if they go,
- 1:20:47Speaker 5: like obviously I'm pulling.
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: For the boys.
- 1:20:48Speaker 4: Yeah, well no, they clinched, So I feel like they're
- 1:20:50Speaker 4: gonna sit out like they already talked about. Say, I'm McAffrey,
- 1:20:52Speaker 4: the're gonna they're gonna arrest dudes up. So the Rams
- 1:20:56Speaker 4: have an easy path to victory here, and I think
- 1:20:58Speaker 4: they're underdogs, Like I'm even saying.
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: The super Bowl.
- 1:21:01Speaker 5: I'm staying on the run to the super Bowl, like
- 1:21:03Speaker 5: I would love to see the Rams. I think they're
- 1:21:05Speaker 5: a team you don't want to play right now, similar
- 1:21:07Speaker 5: to the Bills of the NFC, even the Browns. I mean, Joe,
- 1:21:10Speaker 5: I know, yeah, but eleven and five insane? Everybody they
- 1:21:15Speaker 5: were dead too. They chalked it up. Joe Flacco's coming in.
- 1:21:17Speaker 5: He's at three hundred plus the last several games. I
- 1:21:20Speaker 5: wonder what happens if Joe Flacco takes a run at
- 1:21:22Speaker 5: the playoffs. Not saying he has to win the super Bowl,
- 1:21:24Speaker 5: but let's say he makes it to the AFC Championship
- 1:21:27Speaker 5: or even gets past the first round of the playoffs,
- 1:21:29Speaker 5: you move on from Deshaun Watson.
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: That would be insane. Yeah, that would be insane.
- 1:21:36Speaker 4: But so if the if the Browns win in the
- 1:21:39Speaker 4: first round of the playoffs and then they lose hypothetical situation,
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: do you walk away from Deshaun Watson.
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:21:46Speaker 5: I don't think he can. I mean, I guess you could,
- 1:21:49Speaker 5: but you're taking a massive loss in the whole cap
- 1:21:51Speaker 5: finances because so much is guaranteed to him.
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: Do what that's a turn him back to you? That'll
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: be interesting, dude. Do you like the Bills but in
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: the playoffs and the Browns.
- 1:22:06Speaker 5: Like I would be rooting for Josh and the Bills
- 1:22:09Speaker 5: just because we know the boy, But the Browns is
- 1:22:13Speaker 5: kind of like that. That's ind therella story that if
- 1:22:16Speaker 5: they end up winning all these games, I would like
- 1:22:18Speaker 5: love it.
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: I'd be smiling I backed down to them. Yeah, I'm
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: with that. I like that a lot.
- 1:22:23Speaker 5: But yeah, if they all get in, say they all
- 1:22:25Speaker 5: all these teams get in, I would want the Bills
- 1:22:27Speaker 5: and I would want probably the Niners. But I'd kind
- 1:22:31Speaker 5: of like to see chaos. So I'd love to see
- 1:22:32Speaker 5: the Rams. I love to see the Rams and Bills.
- 1:22:35Speaker 5: So Rams Bills, superl Chaos, super Bowl Chaos, Super Bowl,
- 1:22:38Speaker 5: Rams Bills, that would be nuts.
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: I would love to see Detroit in the Super Bowl.
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: I think that would be so cool. Yeah, yeah, I don't. Yes,
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: they would be sick too, but yeah, I'll think that'd
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: be a fun that'd be a fun situation.
- 1:22:55Speaker 5: You can't sleep on the Dallas Cowboys, I think he can. Yeah,
- 1:22:59Speaker 5: they're not going to do anything trying to give.
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: A little bit of Yeah, they played tough ball games
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: here down the road, but they make stupid mistakes and
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: those things.
- 1:23:07Speaker 4: That's the reason why I'm kind of down on the
- 1:23:09Speaker 4: Browns a little bit because Flahol is slinging that thing.
- 1:23:11Speaker 4: But he's also giving the ball up a bunch two
- 1:23:13Speaker 4: and interceptions count. Yes, he has a bunch of interceptions.
- 1:23:16Speaker 4: He throws the ball for five hundred yards and three touchdowns.
- 1:23:18Speaker 4: But he's given up too like he's he's ripping it
- 1:23:22Speaker 4: as if he's thirty eight years old, came off the
- 1:23:24Speaker 4: couch and he doesn't give a fuck, which is beautiful. Yeah,
- 1:23:27Speaker 4: but when you get to the playoffs, those interceptions cost
- 1:23:30Speaker 4: you a lot more.
- 1:23:31Speaker 5: Thirteen tuddies, eight interceptions. Yeah, he's he's ripping it. He's
- 1:23:37Speaker 5: absolutely ripping it. That's why you kind of like Uh.
- 1:23:40Speaker 4: I like Buffalo over the Browns as far as playing, uh,
- 1:23:43Speaker 4: the upset team in the playoffs, but.
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: The Cowboys do.
- 1:23:48Speaker 4: The Cowboys are gonna get into close games and they're
- 1:23:50Speaker 4: gonna do some dumb shitsu strategically and they're gonna lose,
- 1:23:53Speaker 4: and that just sucks.
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: As they have talent. They have so much talent. I
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: think it's just a coaching.
- 1:23:59Speaker 5: I bet if the playoff pictures like this, I bet
- 1:24:03Speaker 5: the Buccaneers would sneak Philly. You could make show Man.
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: You could see that happening right now, like the Eagles are,
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: even though they just us the fucking saying, God damn
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: it money on that game.
- 1:24:18Speaker 5: Took the Falcons.
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: Are they still in it? I don't think playoff scenarios
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: for the Falcons. They are, but it's like one of those.
- 1:24:32Speaker 5: Yeah, they probably need it. They probably need a tie
- 1:24:35Speaker 5: to happen, all right. Playoff scenarios entering the final week,
- 1:24:54Speaker 5: I mean, to.
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: Beat the Saints and then the Bucks have to lose
- 1:24:58Speaker 2: to the pan I mean that's the you know the Bucks.
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: They thought that they had. The Bucks have to lose
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: the Panthers. Yeah, Panthers have Wait what they do last week?
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: I think they got beat did they mayn't beat They
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: won a couple of weeks ago against let's see. Oh man,
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: that division is so shitty. They they got mopped by
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: the Jaguars twenty six. But I feel like the AFC
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: South is the best, the worst, best division. What do
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: you mean?
- 1:25:36Speaker 4: Like they might have guys that are like three three
- 1:25:39Speaker 4: of the four teams might be in the playoffs, but
- 1:25:41Speaker 4: I just don't think any of those teams are competiti.
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: Enough to make a run. Yeah, like they're gonna get
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: in because things have just fallen that way.
- 1:25:48Speaker 5: Like this is a year where they're similar to the
- 1:25:51Speaker 5: NFC least when they're talking about the NFC East and everybody, yeah, yes.
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: Yes, sitting around five hundred. Yeah, I mean all of them,
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: all of them except for the Titans of nine and seven, right,
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: all nine and seven. We had a winning in game
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: and I think we were at eight seven and one
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: that year against the Giants.
- 1:26:09Speaker 4: It's crazy how it works out. And then you have
- 1:26:11Speaker 4: a team scrapping for the seventh seed and they have
- 1:26:13Speaker 4: like ten wins.
- 1:26:14Speaker 5: Yeah, that is a team that's hot, Like the Giants
- 1:26:18Speaker 5: back in two thousand and eight when they beat the
- 1:26:21Speaker 5: Patriots Yeah, and they were there.
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: They were the lowest rated seed. Yeah, the two against
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: the Cardinals. Eagles did that as well in the Super Bowl.
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: They were the sixth seed right when when they won
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: the Super Bowl a few years back? Oh with Foles.
- 1:26:40Speaker 5: I don't know, they were pretty solid. Yeah, but I
- 1:26:42Speaker 5: think they maybe they were a lower seed.
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: I think they were a lower I don't think they
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: won the division. I'll say that.
- 1:26:48Speaker 5: Thanks, really, dude, Let's talk about the new Year's an

- 1:27:45Speaker 2: So cut it's unreal.
- 1:27:47Speaker 6: Lean meets high protein, clean veggies and yeah, and reading
- 1:27:53Speaker 6: a little more not on twitter, physical books.
- 1:27:59Speaker 5: We thought it just straight body Yeah, I guess. So,
- 1:28:02Speaker 5: like like mine, I don't have like a pinpoint. It's
- 1:28:05Speaker 5: got to be this percent body fat. But being around
- 1:28:08Speaker 5: two fifteen zero low back pain is my is a
- 1:28:13Speaker 5: New Year's resolution of mine because I've had it forever.
- 1:28:17Speaker 5: But basically, like my structure is the morning routine, thirty
- 1:28:22Speaker 5: grams of protein in every meal through food that gets
- 1:28:26Speaker 5: me up to like around one sixty to one eighty,
- 1:28:28Speaker 5: and then get the rest up to my up to
- 1:28:30Speaker 5: like two twenty of protein through like essential amino acids,
- 1:28:33Speaker 5: glued tomine, you know, drinks and shakes and stuff like that.
- 1:28:36Speaker 5: But mine's basically thirty plus grams of protein every meal
- 1:28:38Speaker 5: in the morning. The first one's gonna have no carves
- 1:28:41Speaker 5: of protein and fat. Then cold tubbing four times a
- 1:28:45Speaker 5: week or cold water immersion four times a week. I'm
- 1:28:48Speaker 5: gonna get this shit. I'm like in the middle of
- 1:28:50Speaker 5: it too, but get it kind of like printed so
- 1:28:51Speaker 5: that way I can check like as the weeks go
- 1:28:53Speaker 5: on and switch them out every week. So that way,
- 1:28:56Speaker 5: you know, I hit on all my you know, vitamins
- 1:28:59Speaker 5: and minerals like complements I take in the morning. I
- 1:29:01Speaker 5: have it for the you know, right when I wake up,
- 1:29:04Speaker 5: breakfast time ones with the meal ones that are three
- 1:29:07Speaker 5: days a week. So I'm like trying to structure out
- 1:29:09Speaker 5: that way versus having like the result there, because I
- 1:29:13Speaker 5: just feel like if I just dial in those things.
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: The result will come. Yeah, enjoin the process. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: I would jump on I'll jump on board with that,
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: like I For me, it's establishing, which I've kind of
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: done towards the end of the year. I'm like thirty
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: six days in of doing every single day some sort
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: of like cold water therapy, whether like if we're on
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: the road, we're in Arizona, I just had to take
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: cold shower, so I take a cold shower. But like
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: wake up in the morning, hitting a routine for myself,
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: and then for me, it's all about like dialing in
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: my optimal health from like a gut health standpoint, I've
- 1:29:45Speaker 2: still got a bunch of issues from all those anti inflammatories.
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: I just get the body running the exact way I
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: want to and paying more attention to like longevity things,
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: not just like cosmetic things as far as like you
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: want to look better and all that, but like the stretching,
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: the stability and the core the knee pain that it's
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: it's always going on. Try to figure out way to
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: get that knee pain a little bit better. But yeah,
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: I think this is gonna be a nice little year.
- 1:30:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:30:12Speaker 4: The routine is absolutely everything it is and it when
- 1:30:15Speaker 4: you do it, it's like it sucks at first, but
- 1:30:17Speaker 4: once you get in, Like what I've noticed, like being
- 1:30:19Speaker 4: this far into it now is it's enjoyable. Like even
- 1:30:22Speaker 4: when I wake up tired, I know, hey, at the
- 1:30:24Speaker 4: end of this routine, I'm gonna feel way more awake
- 1:30:26Speaker 4: and I'm being able to get my shit done today.
- 1:30:27Speaker 4: And it's truly like I had this coffee you brought
- 1:30:30Speaker 4: me today, but I've I've kind of like not as
- 1:30:32Speaker 4: much coffee, like feel more consistent energy throughout the day.
- 1:30:36Speaker 4: It's like you just make it a priority and I'm
- 1:30:38Speaker 4: messed with it. I'm really enjoying it.
- 1:30:40Speaker 5: You create that momentum. Yeah, because even if I go
- 1:30:42Speaker 5: a few days without like doing something, or say I
- 1:30:45Speaker 5: couldn't get a work out it or I didn't work out,
- 1:30:48Speaker 5: Like I just know in the back of my mind,
- 1:30:50Speaker 5: I'm like, man if I just wake up earlier the
- 1:30:51Speaker 5: next morning and do workout, like I know that that
- 1:30:53Speaker 5: will that will get everything going. Yeah, because waking up
- 1:30:56Speaker 5: after days of like even with holiday season, you get
- 1:30:58Speaker 5: kind of in a I got kind of in a
- 1:31:00Speaker 5: mode of when I got to sleep in, i'd sleep
- 1:31:03Speaker 5: till like seven seven thirty, and then you're just slower
- 1:31:06Speaker 5: to get out of bed versus like waking up when
- 1:31:08Speaker 5: the alarm goes off with like five point thirty five
- 1:31:10Speaker 5: forty five, and just like it's that much harder after
- 1:31:13Speaker 5: you kind of create the holiday season of eating good sweets,
- 1:31:16Speaker 5: like sleeping a little bit longer, having you know, kind
- 1:31:19Speaker 5: of like having fun in the mornings, slower in the mornings.
- 1:31:22Speaker 5: But once you it's like, yeah, I just know in
- 1:31:25Speaker 5: my head, I'm like, man if I just wake up
- 1:31:26Speaker 5: early next morning, I just got to get the fuck up,
- 1:31:28Speaker 5: get moving, like cold shower this morning, and like that
- 1:31:31Speaker 5: will that will start to create that momentum.
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: But I'm with you, I think it's gonna be a
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: fun year for me.
- 1:31:37Speaker 5: I got to write it out, like I'm somebody I
- 1:31:39Speaker 5: have to write things down or it'll I have to
- 1:31:42Speaker 5: make the invisible visible. If not, I will always justify
- 1:31:45Speaker 5: something because I haven't like put it out into the universe.
- 1:31:49Speaker 5: I feel like, so if I like write it down,
- 1:31:51Speaker 5: if I print it out, if I put it up
- 1:31:52Speaker 5: so that way, it's in front of my face when
- 1:31:53Speaker 5: I go into the pantry on checking things off. That way,
- 1:31:56Speaker 5: I don't miss whatever vitamins Like you can just kind
- 1:31:58Speaker 5: of go by the seat of your pants sometimes. Man,
- 1:32:00Speaker 5: I take that this morning. I kind of can't remember. Oh,
- 1:32:02Speaker 5: I'll make sure to take it when I get home.
- 1:32:03Speaker 5: Then I think I already took it because I thought
- 1:32:05Speaker 5: I was gonna take it when I got home. So
- 1:32:07Speaker 5: if I just write stuff out, if I map it
- 1:32:09Speaker 5: out and put it in front of my face, then
- 1:32:11Speaker 5: I know, like I'll create some momentum.
- 1:32:14Speaker 3: What are you JP, I just got to get cut
- 1:32:17Speaker 3: up before August seventeenth wedding day.
- 1:32:21Speaker 2: Oh it's it's in Yeah, I mean unofficially officially, okay,
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: donan right before the fall too. That's big of you. Yeah,
- 1:32:29Speaker 2: that's big.
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: I mean that's pretty much my goal fitness goal. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:32:33Speaker 3: I gotta be looking nice.
- 1:32:34Speaker 5: You have any like, uh, like a different discipline or
- 1:32:37Speaker 5: anything that you're trying to implement.
- 1:32:40Speaker 3: I mean, definitely could do more cardio. I want to
- 1:32:42Speaker 3: start swimming, get back into the water. Yeah, but it's
- 1:32:46Speaker 3: just swimming is not convenient like as far as gym
- 1:32:49Speaker 3: memberships and stuff like that.
- 1:32:50Speaker 2: But yeah, yeah, I'm trying to figure it out.
- 1:32:54Speaker 5: Match you got you got some New Year's resis.
- 1:32:57Speaker 8: Yeah, I want to do like fitness wise, you're talking,
- 1:33:00Speaker 8: I want to do more cardio, Like I want to
- 1:33:01Speaker 8: get more into Like I'm not somebody who can just
- 1:33:05Speaker 8: go for runs, but like I'm thinking if I get
- 1:33:07Speaker 8: into like more like intermural sports, like playing like more football,
- 1:33:11Speaker 8: Like get into a couple flight football leagues, maybe play
- 1:33:13Speaker 8: some beach volleyball when he gets warmer outside. Just trying
- 1:33:17Speaker 8: to stay active that way because I still have like
- 1:33:19Speaker 8: that competitive itch. Just trying to stay more active that
- 1:33:23Speaker 8: way and have fun with it.
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: Nice. Did you give yours? Nothing really changing from last year?
- 1:33:36Speaker 7: Just consistency is like huge for me, and like y'all
- 1:33:39Speaker 7: are saying, routine, So continuing that, honing in on a
- 1:33:43Speaker 7: couple other things.
- 1:33:44Speaker 2: What those are? No clue, but always room for improvement.
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: I like it, is there anything obviously there is, But
- 1:33:50Speaker 4: is there anything outside of a body standpoint?
- 1:33:53Speaker 5: Obviously we have other news resolutions. We kind of all
- 1:33:55Speaker 5: just hit the body for a second. All great, we
- 1:33:58Speaker 5: all think it. Cars are lying up more this morning
- 1:34:00Speaker 5: at boosts at boos, and you just know, like there's
- 1:34:04Speaker 5: one cat in there fucking humming was doing a take
- 1:34:07Speaker 5: top possibly.
- 1:34:09Speaker 2: Yeah, it was like this light.
- 1:34:11Speaker 5: Cat.
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: He was just almost like forty five minutes.
- 1:34:14Speaker 5: Yeah, bro, I'm talking running at like eight nine miles
- 1:34:17Speaker 5: an hour for minutes at a time, and it would
- 1:34:21Speaker 5: take like a quick break and then get back on it.
- 1:34:23Speaker 2: Yeah that's crazy.
- 1:34:24Speaker 5: But I'm just saying at like high speed running, Like
- 1:34:26Speaker 5: I had to jump in there early this morning because
- 1:34:28Speaker 5: they get up.
- 1:34:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it was kind of like the same crew of
- 1:34:31Speaker 2: people in there just a little bit earlier. Oh really
- 1:34:34Speaker 2: I saw I think I saw that dude. I was like,
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: he is fu he was.
- 1:34:36Speaker 5: He was humming by the time I walked in there.
- 1:34:39Speaker 2: You just got here. Do you have stuff outside of
- 1:34:42Speaker 2: outside of fitness? Yeah, dude, I want to, uh, like
- 1:34:46Speaker 2: from a benchmark standpoint, I want to at least read
- 1:34:49Speaker 2: one book a month.
- 1:34:50Speaker 4: I like, I think that's a soul. I read more
- 1:34:53Speaker 4: than I ever have in years past, in twenty twenty three.
- 1:34:56Speaker 4: But I just think, take you next step of like
- 1:34:58Speaker 4: consistently reading, whether it's like self help book type of stuff,
- 1:35:03Speaker 4: or like like like would you say about Charlie like
- 1:35:05Speaker 4: read what you love until you Yeah, so I've like
- 1:35:10Speaker 4: picked up the pace of like reading and stuff like that.
- 1:35:12Speaker 4: I'm in the middle of one right now, like I
- 1:35:14Speaker 4: got it like a few days ago. I'm on like
- 1:35:15Speaker 4: one hundred and fifty pages in, and so just kind
- 1:35:18Speaker 4: of like this unique pursuit of acquiring like different skills,
- 1:35:24Speaker 4: whether it's like financial literacy, whether it's like trying to
- 1:35:27Speaker 4: look at like learning a new language, or like reading
- 1:35:31Speaker 4: just reading comprehension in general, like trying to take the
- 1:35:33Speaker 4: information I'm reading and process it more like instead of
- 1:35:36Speaker 4: just like checking the box of reading. But I think
- 1:35:38Speaker 4: that's like for me, I enjoy that. I'm starting to
- 1:35:42Speaker 4: find myself enjoy that, and so taking the next step
- 1:35:43Speaker 4: of like putting a number on it will definitely help.
- 1:35:48Speaker 5: Love that.
- 1:35:48Speaker 2: Yeah, a book a month would be nice, right, It's
- 1:35:51Speaker 2: just disciplined too.
- 1:35:53Speaker 4: Yeah, it is like, uh, it's such like a lost art.
- 1:35:57Speaker 4: It seems like like picking up an actual book we
- 1:36:01Speaker 4: don't like that lost art much.
- 1:36:03Speaker 2: Do you know what I'm saying?
- 1:36:07Speaker 5: How many?
- 1:36:08Speaker 2: How often?
- 1:36:08Speaker 4: Like when you're a kid, you're a kid, you see
- 1:36:10Speaker 4: your parents like picking up a book and reading, and
- 1:36:12Speaker 4: now we have all this access to the internet and
- 1:36:13Speaker 4: social media. Is like you don't see anybody our age
- 1:36:17Speaker 4: with an actual hardcover book.
- 1:36:18Speaker 2: In their hands.
- 1:36:19Speaker 5: I don't feel like anybody in their twenties and thirties
- 1:36:21Speaker 5: really didn't, you know. I feel like people do a
- 1:36:23Speaker 5: whole lot of reading outside of having to growing up
- 1:36:25Speaker 5: in school and then maybe as you like get older
- 1:36:28Speaker 5: and realize you know that reading kind.
- 1:36:32Speaker 2: Of fucks it, kind of fucks it, kind of fucks Yeah, yeah.
- 1:36:38Speaker 5: You know. I like I like the uh. I like
- 1:36:40Speaker 5: the reading goal and another one that I was gonna
- 1:36:43Speaker 5: have to go with, like reading is making sure I
- 1:36:45Speaker 5: write like notes, like a book summary, and like just
- 1:36:48Speaker 5: like writing more. I just think like writing, whether it's
- 1:36:51Speaker 5: journaling every day. I got Charro, which I think I
- 1:36:54Speaker 5: might get us all one is there's this a five
- 1:36:56Speaker 5: minute journal and where it has everything kind of like
- 1:36:58Speaker 5: laid out for you, like what to write about it
- 1:37:00Speaker 5: in the morning, with the write about a night. But
- 1:37:03Speaker 5: I think like writing will be really good. It was
- 1:37:06Speaker 5: something I wanted to do last year and obviously did
- 1:37:08Speaker 5: not do it, so I want to like hold myself
- 1:37:10Speaker 5: to that when this year, I just got to structurally
- 1:37:13Speaker 5: figure out like what that looks like.
- 1:37:16Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, my brother in law did this thing this
- 1:37:19Speaker 7: past year where he tried to do it, you know,
- 1:37:21Speaker 7: once a week or a few times a month, and
- 1:37:24Speaker 7: then you know that just changes. But write down something
- 1:37:26Speaker 7: that positive in that week or in that moment, and
- 1:37:30Speaker 7: then go back and reread them, because then you'll realize
- 1:37:33Speaker 7: like a very small thing can feel like such a
- 1:37:36Speaker 7: victory in that week. When you read it at the
- 1:37:39Speaker 7: end of the year, you're like, oh damn, like even
- 1:37:42Speaker 7: that little thing was tight that week, and you just
- 1:37:44Speaker 7: kind of like, you know, reflect on that kind of stuff.
- 1:37:47Speaker 2: Right with that. I like that, boys and anything in
- 1:37:50Speaker 2: the back. We're all good reading if you got one.
- 1:37:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I was reading one book a month
- 1:37:58Speaker 3: as mine as well. Still like last year of them
- 1:38:05Speaker 3: just making my bed every single.
- 1:38:06Speaker 2: Day, which I did. Hit did you really? Yeah a
- 1:38:10Speaker 2: first win, first wait win right out of the bed.
- 1:38:13Speaker 2: So continue that more journaling for sure.
- 1:38:17Speaker 3: And I man, I was I had one because sitting
- 1:38:20Speaker 3: and I were coming up with them yesterday, but it's
- 1:38:23Speaker 3: escape in my mind, so I might just concur with y'all.
- 1:38:29Speaker 5: On the significant other, like char and I when we
- 1:38:32Speaker 5: were talking about it yesterday. We're gonna do like a
- 1:38:35Speaker 5: weekly discipline, so whether it's yoga or something that we
- 1:38:38Speaker 5: can do it together in the morning, like health wise,
- 1:38:40Speaker 5: fitness wise, whether it's sauna and cold the cold tub
- 1:38:44Speaker 5: or yoga or boxing or whatever. It is like one
- 1:38:47Speaker 5: daily one discipline a week, and then we're gonna do
- 1:38:51Speaker 5: like a bi monthly date night. So she plans one
- 1:38:54Speaker 5: one month, or she plans one one week. I planed one,
- 1:38:57Speaker 5: you know, the next after the next couple of weeks,
- 1:38:59Speaker 5: and then like one where we have to be intentional
- 1:39:02Speaker 5: on getting our uh getting like a group of friends
- 1:39:05Speaker 5: together to like do something whether it's a murder mystery
- 1:39:07Speaker 5: or like just doing something that we're we are like
- 1:39:09Speaker 5: intentional about, like being around friends.
- 1:39:12Speaker 3: That's one of ours was at the end of each month,
- 1:39:16Speaker 3: sitting down and holding each other accountable about if you
- 1:39:20Speaker 3: are keeping up with your Oh yeah, that's a good one.
- 1:39:24Speaker 2: That is a good one. Be intentional about being around
- 1:39:26Speaker 2: friends is a really good one. Yeah, because you know
- 1:39:29Speaker 2: how it is.
- 1:39:29Speaker 4: Yeah, especially doing as much as we do, like I
- 1:39:32Speaker 4: feel because we travel so much. When I get home,
- 1:39:34Speaker 4: I just want to be with my family and I
- 1:39:36Speaker 4: don't take the time to like check the other social
- 1:39:40Speaker 4: boxes right at all.
- 1:39:41Speaker 2: But doing it I like that.
- 1:39:43Speaker 5: Like that one and whether like was we were talking
- 1:39:45Speaker 5: about like a quarterly thing too, is like whether it's
- 1:39:47Speaker 5: the murder mystery, like each like fills us one time,
- 1:39:50Speaker 5: just because again, monthly, it's like the minute it doesn't
- 1:39:53Speaker 5: happen one month and it can kind of fizzle out.
- 1:39:55Speaker 5: So if like you're the monthly thing, if it's just
- 1:39:57Speaker 5: like dinner or something like that, but a quarterly thing
- 1:39:59Speaker 5: that we're it's like, hey, we'll host one. You guys
- 1:40:02Speaker 5: are responsible for hosting a quarter you know, you get
- 1:40:05Speaker 5: another pair of friends that host at their house, whether
- 1:40:07Speaker 5: it's a Chandler's or something like that. Yeah, but just
- 1:40:09Speaker 5: doing one where it's like on that crew, I think
- 1:40:11Speaker 5: it would be a lot of fun.
- 1:40:14Speaker 2: Quick pivot. We got to give a huge shout out
- 1:40:16Speaker 2: to Buschle Chandler. Yeah, oh yes, yes, yes, incredible.
- 1:40:22Speaker 4: Literally the guy has sat for a year waiting for
- 1:40:25Speaker 4: this irishman to finally pull the trigger and.
- 1:40:28Speaker 2: It's it's big. Yeah, it's big, massive.
- 1:40:30Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:40:31Speaker 4: My understanding is it's not like one hundred percent done yet,
- 1:40:33Speaker 4: Like there still has to be a couple of dominoes
- 1:40:35Speaker 4: that fall, but everything go on Connor, But it seems
- 1:40:39Speaker 4: like things are pointing that way.
- 1:40:40Speaker 5: Does it seem like it is going to be a
- 1:40:44Speaker 5: one eighty five?
- 1:40:45Speaker 2: I think so?
- 1:40:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:40:46Speaker 4: I think I wouldn't know the answer to that. But
- 1:40:48Speaker 4: if connorsting one eighty five and Mike's on.
- 1:40:51Speaker 5: Social media international fight week, is that's when it's gonna happen.
- 1:40:55Speaker 5: My thought was, my question mark was if it's actually
- 1:40:57Speaker 5: going to be a one eighty five.
- 1:41:00Speaker 2: Where you think it would be, Like, yeah, if it's that,
- 1:41:04Speaker 2: if it's at one eighty five.
- 1:41:05Speaker 3: The only reason McGregor wants to do that is so
- 1:41:08Speaker 3: that if he does win, he can say I have
- 1:41:11Speaker 3: wins at middleweight, welterweight, lightweight, and featherweight, which obviously he'd
- 1:41:16Speaker 3: be the only person person with three.
- 1:41:19Speaker 5: I just that's not even he Mike probably what walks
- 1:41:22Speaker 5: around it when it.
- 1:41:23Speaker 3: Mike is one eighty five right now, Like Mike is
- 1:41:25Speaker 3: saying it's benefits Mike more than it benefits Yeah, why
- 1:41:30Speaker 3: is it benefit Mike Moore because he's more naturally built.
- 1:41:33Speaker 3: Like at that weight, Connor is like eating his butt
- 1:41:37Speaker 3: off to be one eighty five when he's not on
- 1:41:41Speaker 3: all the stuff, right, because all you see is these
- 1:41:43Speaker 3: photos of Connor, oh ju stuff. It's so cool and
- 1:41:48Speaker 3: so clear he's on. He was on something, but there's
- 1:41:51Speaker 3: I feel like there's a whole bunch of stuff. He
- 1:41:52Speaker 3: still got to go through the YUSADA protocol.
- 1:41:54Speaker 5: Well they're not with you SADA anymore, or whichever whichever
- 1:41:57Speaker 5: drug testing thing they have to do.
- 1:41:59Speaker 2: I really don't know. I just know it's like not
- 1:42:01Speaker 2: officially official yet. Yeah, seems like it's gonna happen though,
- 1:42:04Speaker 2: But that is so sick. It was like June twenty eighth,
- 1:42:07Speaker 2: June twenty ninth, that's international fight week.
- 1:42:10Speaker 5: We'll have to I feel like that would be a
- 1:42:12Speaker 5: weekend or the week that we would do like beer Olympics.
- 1:42:16Speaker 2: Oh no, we are going to that fight, yeah, we asked,
- 1:42:19Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no doubt.
- 1:42:19Speaker 5: I'm just saying like the last year, I think we
- 1:42:21Speaker 5: did the Bearer Olympics on the last week, Like we're
- 1:42:23Speaker 5: gonna have to dictate, We're gonna have to that.
- 1:42:25Speaker 2: That is what we will be doing Yeah last week,
- 1:42:27Speaker 2: we will be there, we will we will be there.
- 1:42:31Speaker 2: Bet it'll be Sphere of September. I know, but that's
- 1:42:36Speaker 2: what they say now, But I think, yeah, that's true.
- 1:42:38Speaker 2: Why wouldn't you do McGregor, Yeah.
- 1:42:41Speaker 5: Come back.
- 1:42:41Speaker 2: Yeah maybe it's like, uh, I mean it's only six
- 1:42:44Speaker 2: months away. Yeah, I wish. I don't know the planning
- 1:42:47Speaker 2: and all that, but that would be insane if it
- 1:42:50Speaker 2: was at the Sphere insane. That's gonna be so much fun.
- 1:42:53Speaker 2: It's so fucking hype. Yeah, I really I want to
- 1:42:58Speaker 2: win so bad. I know.
- 1:43:01Speaker 4: Man, Once again, there's a I feel like there's an
- 1:43:03Speaker 4: easy path to victory on Connor. What do you mean,
- 1:43:07Speaker 4: take him to the ground and sit on him for
- 1:43:08Speaker 4: a round, tire his ass out, Because from what mine
- 1:43:13Speaker 4: are saying, I'm very green when it comes to like
- 1:43:15Speaker 4: understanding combat. But jp you're are pseudo UFC guy. Connor
- 1:43:21Speaker 4: is incredibly precise, throws good, and he moves really well
- 1:43:25Speaker 4: on his feet, and he's not the best grappler. So
- 1:43:27Speaker 4: if Mike, who's a great wrestler, takes him to the ground,
- 1:43:31Speaker 4: wears him out, putting his body on him the whole
- 1:43:33Speaker 4: entire time, for a round, round and a half, make
- 1:43:36Speaker 4: it boring, and then make it fucking.
- 1:43:37Speaker 2: Oh this is but Mike should. It's like Mike should
- 1:43:40Speaker 2: be doing that every fight.
- 1:43:42Speaker 5: He just doesn't do it, and he's like all the
- 1:43:45Speaker 5: spirit the spirit of fight spirits great, Yes, absolutely, but
- 1:43:50Speaker 5: I feel like.
- 1:43:50Speaker 2: That's all of Mike's fights.
- 1:43:52Speaker 5: It's like, hey, he should play to his strength of
- 1:43:53Speaker 5: wrestling here now, Like even though uh connor is precise
- 1:43:58Speaker 5: with his striking, he's got good defense on wrestling, Like
- 1:44:02Speaker 5: he would have to get him to the ground, which
- 1:44:04Speaker 5: could be a that wears you out, like trying to
- 1:44:06Speaker 5: take people down. If it doesn't work, it kind of
- 1:44:07Speaker 5: like hurts your gas tank. What do you how do
- 1:44:10Speaker 5: you see it going JP or how How do you
- 1:44:12Speaker 5: think Mike should.
- 1:44:13Speaker 2: Go about it?
- 1:44:14Speaker 3: I mean the same way everybody else in the world
- 1:44:17Speaker 3: thinks Mike should go about it.
- 1:44:18Speaker 2: I know he never will. I do think he'll.
- 1:44:22Speaker 3: I think he's gonna go for more takedowns than people
- 1:44:25Speaker 3: are thinking, just because I think he wants a massive
- 1:44:29Speaker 3: like slam. Yeah, and I think he wants to add that,
- 1:44:33Speaker 3: so he'll probably try that in the first round and
- 1:44:36Speaker 3: I bet he will get one.
- 1:44:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:44:37Speaker 3: Then he'll probably in the second round, probably the standout
- 1:44:41Speaker 3: and you can't.
- 1:44:42Speaker 5: Yeah, the thing like for Mike, it could potentially be
- 1:44:45Speaker 5: born because I think Mike needs to wait for his opportunity,
- 1:44:47Speaker 5: like be patient to try to get a take down.
- 1:44:49Speaker 5: Because if you're if you're president, Connor Connor's very good
- 1:44:52Speaker 5: at like counter striking, like understanding. When Mike drops his head,
- 1:44:55Speaker 5: just binking him, he's gonna have to wait for Connor
- 1:44:58Speaker 5: to make me that's that's.
- 1:45:00Speaker 2: That's what I that's like good at fighting backwards. Yes,
- 1:45:03Speaker 2: there you go. Yes, that's a cool line I fit.
- 1:45:05Speaker 4: But like, yeah, I when Mike's is in the bus
- 1:45:08Speaker 4: and he says warrior spirit, I want to make it
- 1:45:11Speaker 4: a bloodbath, It's like, all right, great, But let's say
- 1:45:14Speaker 4: he does take the game plan intwo, I'm gonna be
- 1:45:16Speaker 4: the smartest way, easiest path to victory as possible. When
- 1:45:20Speaker 4: you start hearing the booze, let's say this in the
- 1:45:22Speaker 4: sphere of them kind of just dancing around each other,
- 1:45:25Speaker 4: where's Mike's mental of being like, yeah, fuck it, I'm
- 1:45:28Speaker 4: gonna have to just.
- 1:45:29Speaker 2: Go And he's wanting to be like fuck it, He's
- 1:45:31Speaker 2: gonna go out there swinging out of it.
- 1:45:33Speaker 3: Yeah, but I think even when if Mike tries to
- 1:45:35Speaker 3: wrestler won't be boring because he does everything so violently.
- 1:45:39Speaker 3: It's not like he's not gonna be like I don't know,
- 1:45:42Speaker 3: like some of these other guys that just are no,
- 1:45:45Speaker 3: no doubting.
- 1:45:46Speaker 5: But the wrestling to happen, I think it has to
- 1:45:48Speaker 5: happen from like a patient standpoint to where maybe that's
- 1:45:51Speaker 5: where he's sinking because if he if he tries to
- 1:45:53Speaker 5: go after him again, not only are you making yourself
- 1:45:55Speaker 5: more vulnerable and playing into a strengthen connors of being
- 1:45:58Speaker 5: a great fighter backing up, but uh, then if you
- 1:46:01Speaker 5: fail on takedowns, you're where you're wearing yourself out.
- 1:46:04Speaker 2: You're wearing yourself out, and that's not where you want
- 1:46:07Speaker 2: to be.
- 1:46:09Speaker 4: Maybe just take the d as approach and just slap
- 1:46:11Speaker 4: that front leg for a while. Yeah, just kick that
- 1:46:14Speaker 4: front calf over and over and over again.
- 1:46:17Speaker 2: I don't know, I feel like the titanium shin bone
- 1:46:19Speaker 2: failure Mike. Mike has a path to win this fight.
- 1:46:23Speaker 2: It's the impatience that worries me. I mean, I'm sure
- 1:46:27Speaker 2: he's probably thinking, man, it'll be sick to knock him out.
- 1:46:30Speaker 5: There's so many mental games. Yeah, just throwing in there.
- 1:46:34Speaker 5: It's like we can make up this uh uh strategy.
- 1:46:37Speaker 5: That strategy can be thought of. And he's like, Okay,
- 1:46:39Speaker 5: I'm a surprise everybody by going in just going fucking nuts.
- 1:46:42Speaker 5: But it won't be surprising anybody if he goes nuts.
- 1:46:46Speaker 2: Yeah, fair, Yeah, yeah, should we get to the uh
- 1:46:50Speaker 2: twisted question? Yeah, I'm down. It's been a good pause.
- 1:46:53Speaker 2: It's been a fun pose. Yeah.
- 1:46:54Speaker 5: Twisted question brought to us by Twisted Tea, the smoothest
- 1:46:57Speaker 5: hard icy out there. It's holiday season, football games and
- 1:47:00Speaker 5: game days, playoffs are coming. Keep it twisted with Twisted Tea.
- 1:47:04Speaker 5: Bring in the new year with the Twisted Tea today.
- 1:47:06Speaker 5: This question is brought to us not only by Twisted Tea,
- 1:47:10Speaker 5: but Mitch. He gets to start off the new year.
- 1:47:12Speaker 5: Maybe he'll start off with some better questions, Mitchie.
- 1:47:15Speaker 8: This one is from Ryan Sireki. You're not doing the
- 1:47:20Speaker 8: question no on Instagram. Twisted question for the boys. Would
- 1:47:27Speaker 8: you take one continuous twenty four hour shit once a
- 1:47:31Speaker 8: year or full on shit yourself once a.
- 1:47:34Speaker 5: Year, full on ship myself once a year? I think
- 1:47:41Speaker 5: how you think about that? Think about the time you
- 1:47:43Speaker 5: get just shitt by yourself, think.
- 1:47:45Speaker 2: About it worked, Yeah, yeah, your legs with your legs
- 1:47:49Speaker 2: would fall asleep after an hour, Like I got twenty
- 1:47:52Speaker 2: three more hours of this, and think about this.
- 1:47:54Speaker 5: You ain't gonna be thinking about your legs if you
- 1:47:55Speaker 5: got shit coming out of you for twenty four hours straight,
- 1:47:58Speaker 5: is not gonna hit yeh.
- 1:48:01Speaker 2: Think about this.
- 1:48:01Speaker 4: Though it's been a rough day, maybe the boys there's
- 1:48:04Speaker 4: a big altercation, it's been long, blah blah blah.
- 1:48:06Speaker 2: You go home, Ruse yelling, Charles bitching at you.
- 1:48:10Speaker 4: Where you're gonna go take those five minutes. She knows
- 1:48:12Speaker 4: you shit once a year for twenty four hours. You
- 1:48:14Speaker 4: can't go take five minutes in the bathroom to yourself,
- 1:48:15Speaker 4: scroll the scroll the phone a little bit.
- 1:48:17Speaker 2: Pay it still on you, just saying that this is
- 1:48:20Speaker 2: the part shitting yourself.
- 1:48:22Speaker 4: I'm saying, if you only shit yourself twenty four hours
- 1:48:27Speaker 4: one time of year, then there's no that.
- 1:48:30Speaker 2: Classic dad move. You're like, I you to the bathroom,
- 1:48:32Speaker 2: will be right back.
- 1:48:34Speaker 5: That's a great point. Yeah, but if you just think
- 1:48:36Speaker 5: of the upside of shitting. But you're also talking about
- 1:48:38Speaker 5: the upside of shitting, Yes, And I'm thinking shit my
- 1:48:41Speaker 5: pants once a year. It's like do I get to
- 1:48:44Speaker 5: pick if so? Yeah, okay, if not, it's like that'll
- 1:48:47Speaker 5: be funny as hell. Then.
- 1:48:49Speaker 4: I mean, I'm just on the bus one day and
- 1:48:50Speaker 4: I just shiit my pants, like you know it is,
- 1:48:52Speaker 4: I gotta get out of here. I'll be right back. Yeah,
- 1:48:55Speaker 4: just keep a change of clothes in the back at
- 1:48:57Speaker 4: all times. To me, that's like that's an easy way.
- 1:49:00Speaker 2: Sold sold for one Mitch. What's what's Yeah, what's the
- 1:49:06Speaker 2: dub for Mitch? I thought that. I thought that Actually, Uh, I.
- 1:49:15Speaker 4: Would say if it's like, woul anybody take the twenty
- 1:49:17Speaker 4: four hour ship?
- 1:49:18Speaker 2: Yeah, with anybody on the twenty four hour ship? And
- 1:49:22Speaker 2: then got swayed. No, I was on the twenty four
- 1:49:25Speaker 2: hour ship?
- 1:49:26Speaker 8: Did you.
- 1:49:28Speaker 2: Can't play at each other? I?
- 1:49:29Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:49:29Speaker 8: You saying saying the the uh like takes some five
- 1:49:33Speaker 8: minutes away and have some time by yourself.
- 1:49:35Speaker 2: That's what switched me. Yeah.
- 1:49:37Speaker 4: So I guess a good twisted question would be like
- 1:49:40Speaker 4: the ending multiple choices, like everybody walks away like the
- 1:49:45Speaker 4: best I think the best twisted question we've had is
- 1:49:48Speaker 4: the miss every light or make every light or the
- 1:49:52Speaker 4: best parking spot because we've walked away and we all
- 1:49:54Speaker 4: still have our our choices and the reason why we
- 1:49:57Speaker 4: have those choices. But the ship thing, it's like we
- 1:49:59Speaker 4: all came to inclusion.
- 1:50:01Speaker 2: Imagine wiping after a twenty four hour No, god, oh
- 1:50:05Speaker 2: I think it's the same. Yeah, probably gonna be the same.
- 1:50:11Speaker 4: Clean up right about all the flushing you gotta do
- 1:50:12Speaker 4: because if that bowl get filled up?
- 1:50:15Speaker 8: Die?
- 1:50:15Speaker 2: Could you could die? You can legit die? Yeah, it
- 1:50:21Speaker 2: placed an IV.
- 1:50:23Speaker 4: You gonna have to and then place an IV on
- 1:50:25Speaker 4: you while you're shipping there smelling it.
- 1:50:26Speaker 2: Got to eat in the corner with that.
- 1:50:29Speaker 4: Oh my god, and you know, like fifteen minutes from
- 1:50:33Speaker 4: now that thing's coming out of you.
- 1:50:34Speaker 2: Will said, it can't be that bad.
- 1:50:37Speaker 5: On the wiping, On the wiping, think of how oh yeah,
- 1:50:40Speaker 5: oh the wiping part. Your buttholes open for twenty four hours. Yeah,
- 1:50:44Speaker 5: but it's still gonna you still gotta wipe it the same.
- 1:50:46Speaker 5: You canna be raw, oh do you?
- 1:50:48Speaker 4: Because you're wipe in between ships because you have to flush, right,
- 1:50:53Speaker 4: it's gonna be just.
- 1:50:54Speaker 2: Sit and flush, you shit, the courtesy flush.
- 1:50:56Speaker 4: You have your asshole, all your has been worked once
- 1:50:59Speaker 4: and then your essentially feeding ship through your asshole, rubbing
- 1:51:02Speaker 4: against it. You're you're talking about, but no, it's you're
- 1:51:05Speaker 4: talking about now, you're talking about blood.
- 1:51:08Speaker 5: But I'm assuming in this hypothetical situation that my body
- 1:51:12Speaker 5: is built to do that. If I'm only shitting once
- 1:51:14Speaker 5: a year, like I say, okay, here it comes, Yeah,
- 1:51:17Speaker 5: I got to loosen up and know it's how to work.
- 1:51:19Speaker 2: I guess.
- 1:51:20Speaker 4: I guess you would be right, because if your body
- 1:51:21Speaker 4: wasn't built for that, you're legit dying the first time
- 1:51:24Speaker 4: it happens.
- 1:51:25Speaker 2: You might be dying if you never ship for the
- 1:51:27Speaker 2: other three hundred and sixty four days. That's correct too.
- 1:51:32Speaker 2: I think like a one time, one time dispense, At
- 1:51:35Speaker 2: least that's what it sounds.
- 1:51:35Speaker 5: I think he's trying to make it seem like, but
- 1:51:37Speaker 5: you just get all your shitting out of the way
- 1:51:39Speaker 5: in one time, which I don't think. There's when you
- 1:51:41Speaker 5: said that that that to me is like you get
- 1:51:43Speaker 5: the upside of shitting every day, sometimes a couple, sometimes three.
- 1:51:51Speaker 5: You ship three times a day, you get that looked at.
- 1:51:55Speaker 5: I think you'd rather swallow is free. I think two's healthy.
- 1:52:00Speaker 5: I think two's healthy. I think three is fine. But
- 1:52:03Speaker 5: you know it ain't coming out solid. Is it always
- 1:52:06Speaker 5: coming out solid?
- 1:52:07Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:52:08Speaker 5: Maybe? All right, maybe he is good. Maybe I'm fucked up. Yeah,
- 1:52:12Speaker 5: maybe I need shit more.
- 1:52:13Speaker 2: I know I'm fucked up.
- 1:52:15Speaker 8: Once in the morning, after lunch, and then after dinner.
- 1:52:19Speaker 5: See, I'm usually once in the morning and then once
- 1:52:21Speaker 5: in the late afternoon or early evening whenever I'm finding
- 1:52:25Speaker 5: that moment if I'm picking my shot. Okay, So all right,
- 1:52:30Speaker 5: I gotta go to the restroom. It's gonna be a minute.
- 1:52:33Speaker 5: Well you don't get that with twenty four hours? Yeah right, yeah,
- 1:52:36Speaker 5: do you need that?
- 1:52:37Speaker 2: It's your time. It's for you.
- 1:52:39Speaker 4: You guys, really wrap this thing up. Yeah, for those
- 1:52:41Speaker 4: of you who stuck stuck around for this long. Next week,
- 1:52:44Speaker 4: I believe I'm correcting saying this next week there will
- 1:52:46Speaker 4: be a new addition of busting with the Boys.
- 1:52:48Speaker 2: Correct.

- 1:52:52Speaker 5: first day. What are we doing, craft Designer? Oh, I

- 1:53:43Speaker 2: he had an ear piece and that's awesome.
