- 0:00Speaker 1: Guys, welcome to Son of a Boy Dad. As always,
- 0:02Speaker 1: it is brought to you by High Noon.
- 0:03Speaker 2: High Noon. High Noon. Vodka seltzer. Tequila seltzer. And it's
- 0:08Speaker 2: real vodka, real tequila. We always get this wrong. What
- 0:13Speaker 2: makes this so much better than those malt beverages is
- 0:17Speaker 2: that it has real ingredients. It has real fruit juice,
- 0:21Speaker 2: sparkling water, and natural flavor. So it doesn't leave you
- 0:24Speaker 2: with that bad aftertaste in your mouth or make you
- 0:27Speaker 2: feel kind of ill. After you had a couple, it's
- 0:31Speaker 2: just real ingredients. It's that clean, juicy, fresh taste that
- 0:34Speaker 2: allows you to enjoy those last couple weeks of summer.
- 0:37Speaker 1: And people think that sometimes we're overstating this malt thing.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Have a drink with malt in it one time and
- 0:43Speaker 1: you will feel it throughout your entire body. With this,
- 0:46Speaker 1: there's kind of a cleanliness, a purity, and that comes
- 0:49Speaker 1: from Blanco tequila or real vodka.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Some real fruit juice, sparkling water, natural flavors. It is
- 0:55Speaker 1: that simple. High Noon is the best. Make sure that
- 0:57Speaker 1: you are drinking some High Noon, whatever you're doing on
- 1:00Speaker 1: the weekend. You know, having a cocktail with the wife.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Exactly. And if you are someone like me who likes
- 1:07Speaker 2: a specific flavor, for example, for me, it's peach. They
- 1:11Speaker 2: are now making single-flavor packs, so you won't have to
- 1:15Speaker 2: wade through the variety of the ones you don't really
- 1:17Speaker 2: want as much. For me, again, that's peach, although this
- 1:20Speaker 2: is a pineapple. I'm not going to hate on the pineapple.
- 1:23Speaker 1: They're great. And make sure you're heading on over to highnoonspirits.com
- 1:27Speaker 1: to find a high noon near you. Now let's get
- 1:29Speaker 1: into the show.
- 1:33Speaker 2: All right, shall we?
- 1:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Sass is sick. Really?
- 1:37Speaker 3: Yeah. Brown is, though.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Very sick. His readiness score is 59.
- 1:42Speaker 3: It's going to be a long day.
- 1:46Speaker 1: He's sick.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Goddamn, dude.
- 1:50Speaker 3: I came in and Rowan said, do you feel sick?
- 1:52Speaker 3: And I was like, I guess a little bit.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Because I saw it all over his face.
- 1:55Speaker 3: And then he said, we're all sick.
- 1:59Speaker 1: I saw it dripping off of your body.
- 2:01Speaker 2: You have twins that are constantly picking up diseases, I'm sure.
- 2:05Speaker 2: You live the least healthy lifestyle of anyone I've ever met.
- 2:08Speaker 2: You sleep in a blanket of cockroaches.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Not true.
- 2:11Speaker 2: They cuddle you at night. Not true at all. They
- 2:14Speaker 2: lock paws.
- 2:15Speaker 3: No roaches.
- 2:17Speaker 2: And cuddle you for warmth.
- 2:21Speaker 3: They lock arms.
- 2:22Speaker 2: And then I just hate my life so much that
- 2:24Speaker 2: I'm just living in a constant cloud of sickness.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Yeah, you can never get well.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Yeah. There ain't no roaches.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Well, I think that you can impress like one domino
- 2:34Speaker 1: falling from when you got the inside of your house
- 2:36Speaker 1: fumigated to when you brought this pox on us.
- 2:41Speaker 3: You got me. I got like hands, foot, mouth from
- 2:43Speaker 3: you and your kids.
- 2:44Speaker 1: You did not get hands, foot, mouth.
- 2:46Speaker 2: I think it's hand, foot, and mouth. Yeah.
- 2:50Speaker 3: It's everything. I got hand, foot, mouth from Ronan and
- 2:52Speaker 3: his kids.
- 2:54Speaker 1: That can't be true.
- 2:55Speaker 2: And pandas.
- 2:56Speaker 1: It's going around. I was at the zoo.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Oh, we've begun. Can you just do the clap? Because
- 3:03Speaker 2: I want to talk about the zoo thing because a
- 3:05Speaker 2: guy reached out to me and he had something very
- 3:06Speaker 2: funny to say.
- 3:10Speaker 1: All right.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Welcome back to the Son of a Boy Dad podcast.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Today it is August 25th. It's 1117 a.m. And we
- 3:21Speaker 3: are here live from HQ3.
- 3:23Speaker 1: And Little Sasquatch has it.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Hand, foot, mouth.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:30Speaker 3: I got hand, foot, and mouth from Ronan and his kids.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Dude, so.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Passing it around.
- 3:35Speaker 2: This guy, we talked about the zoos, and he goes,
- 3:39Speaker 2: I'm a zookeeper, 10-ish years experience, and would be happy
- 3:42Speaker 2: to clear up any misconceptions about what we do collectively.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I've worked at numerous animal care facilities and love to
- 3:49Speaker 2: help people realize how they're a net positive. So I
- 3:53Speaker 2: thought that was nice, right?
- 3:54Speaker 3: Of course.
- 3:55Speaker 2: But then his only other message to me previously was,
- 3:58Speaker 2: it's nice to know I'm not the only one that
- 4:00Speaker 2: has thrown away and dug weed out of the trash.
- 4:03Speaker 3: So anyway.
- 4:08Speaker 1: His first message kind of made me doubt that he
- 4:10Speaker 1: was a zookeeper, but then knowing the weed message, it
- 4:13Speaker 1: confirms that he's definitely a zookeeper.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Yeah. Digging mud out of the trash. He goes, a
- 4:20Speaker 2: lot of folks think zoos Pull animals straight out of
- 4:24Speaker 2: the wild. But this only really happens when there's some
- 4:27Speaker 2: sort of intervention needed in order to prevent extinction. Or
- 4:30Speaker 2: if a captive population is at serious risk of genetic
- 4:33Speaker 2: failure and needs an influx of new genes to prevent
- 4:36Speaker 2: serious decline. At his first internship, he was at the
- 4:40Speaker 2: San Diego Zoo. Wow, starting at the top.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Yeah, that's where you go from there.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Interning at the White House. He's a zoo genius. And
- 4:48Speaker 2: it was at their breeding facility on Maui for native
- 4:51Speaker 2: forest birds that were either extinct in the wild, like
- 4:54Speaker 2: the Hawaiian crow. Of course. When was the last time
- 4:58Speaker 2: you saw a crow in Hawaii? Exactly. It's been a while.
- 5:01Speaker 1: They have chickens. They're flush with chickens out there. But
- 5:05Speaker 1: barely any crows. But imagine going to the zoo and
- 5:07Speaker 1: seeing a fucking crow.
- 5:09Speaker 2: They took a former minimum security prison and turned it
- 5:12Speaker 2: into a place to save these species from dying out.
- 5:15Speaker 2: All right. Well, that's a little on the nose.
- 5:18Speaker 1: That's dark.
- 5:19Speaker 2: People call zoos prisons and you actually were like, well,
- 5:21Speaker 2: might as well.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Welcome to the Alcaraz Center for... Alcatraz Center for Pythons.
- 5:29Speaker 1: It's for animals to play tennis. The Alcaraz Center.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Yes, exactly. Most zookeepers wish their jobs didn't have to exist,
- 5:40Speaker 2: but in many of these animals' cases, there's so much
- 5:44Speaker 2: habitat lost globally that there's nowhere else for them to survive.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Tigers and orangutans are a big example of this.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Tigers and orangutans can't survive anywhere else but the zoo?
- 5:57Speaker 3: Sounds like they're gaslighting us.
- 5:58Speaker 2: I think those two species in particular have lost so
- 6:01Speaker 2: much habitat that they've said like, will live in on reservations.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Somehow my algorithm always shows me the graphic of how
- 6:09Speaker 1: many tigers are in each country. I see it like
- 6:12Speaker 1: every three months and the amount of tigers in, in
- 6:15Speaker 1: like India and like Indonesia, there's infinite tigers out there.
- 6:21Speaker 1: They are not endangered at all. There are tigers living
- 6:24Speaker 1: regular lives out there.
- 6:25Speaker 3: I mean, it's gotta be pretty tight in India with
- 6:28Speaker 3: the people and the tigers. Yeah. a lot of bodies.
- 6:32Speaker 1: That's why they have to coexist yeah they just have
- 6:35Speaker 1: different water fountains.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Tigers are pretty cool man i i like tigers a
- 6:39Speaker 2: lot yeah solid solid uh species so much more interesting than.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Than lions 3682 wild tigers in india so a million.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Yeah that's that's a lot what that's a lot of
- 6:55Speaker 3: tigers why do you say a million.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Because that's what I said earlier and I was wrong. Oh.
- 7:02Speaker 3: 3,600 is not that many when they have almost, what,
- 7:04Speaker 3: 2 billion people in India.
- 7:07Speaker 2: How many wild silverback gorillas are there?
- 7:09Speaker 3: In India.
- 7:11Speaker 2: None. Not in India. Don't look that up. Don't humor him.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Well, first thing it says, in India.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Wow.
- 7:20Speaker 2: It hears us. That's why.
- 7:21Speaker 1: It's because everybody is searching how many there are in India.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:24Speaker 2: 210 to 260 breeding silverback mountain gorillas.
- 7:29Speaker 3: That's a pretty low population.
- 7:32Speaker 1: So there's a million tigers.
- 7:34Speaker 3: A million tigers and 200,000 gorillas.
- 7:38Speaker 2: So there's about a thousand mountain gorillas. So those are
- 7:41Speaker 2: the ones I went and saw. But they got down
- 7:43Speaker 2: to fewer than 200.
- 7:45Speaker 3: In Africa?
- 7:45Speaker 2: Yeah. It's time for Africa.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Did you... Do you think.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Is Shakira ever going to die? She's been the same
- 7:55Speaker 2: age for 25 years. Yeah.
- 7:57Speaker 3: No, she's not going anywhere.
- 7:58Speaker 2: What's going on there?
- 7:59Speaker 3: Eating, probably drinking the blood of children.
- 8:01Speaker 2: That would have to be it.
- 8:03Speaker 3: That's usually the answer. She's only 49.
- 8:07Speaker 1: When I was like 15, I think she was like
- 8:09Speaker 1: my top crush.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Did you ever lust for Shakira?
- 8:13Speaker 3: Of course.
- 8:14Speaker 1: No way you did.
- 8:14Speaker 2: I don't know. I liked her, but she always had
- 8:16Speaker 2: that like voice that sounds like she was hairy.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Like she came in, you know, like she was sleeping
- 8:22Speaker 2: with cockroaches all night. Every time she always had that
- 8:24Speaker 2: sort of nasally. Yeah.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Didn't love that. She has a.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Little bit of that.
- 8:30Speaker 1: This one's for the people.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:34Speaker 1: No, yeah.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Love Shakira.
- 8:36Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 8:36Speaker 1: He has no energy.
- 8:37Speaker 2: You have no energy. Why don't you sound better?
- 8:40Speaker 1: Not only do you not sound better, you're just hitting
- 8:41Speaker 1: us with the vicious one word answers.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm fucking dead. I don't know what's going on.
- 8:46Speaker 3: I woke up feeling shitty.
- 8:47Speaker 2: I came in thinking I wasn't going to talk at
- 8:49Speaker 2: all today.
- 8:50Speaker 3: No, you're going to be talking a lot.
- 8:51Speaker 2: In protest. And then I saw you. Someone needed to
- 8:55Speaker 2: pick up the slack for you.
- 8:57Speaker 1: What, you're going to protest?
- 8:58Speaker 3: Rowan got us all sick.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I didn't get us sick.
- 9:00Speaker 3: I literally, like, if you didn't say anything, I would
- 9:02Speaker 3: have been on this podcast just feeling totally fine. And
- 9:06Speaker 3: Rowan came in and convinced me I'm sick.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Diagnosed you.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Yeah, he's like, we're all super sick.
- 9:12Speaker 1: But you're just susceptible to suggestions so easily that I
- 9:15Speaker 1: could just be like, and you're sick, like a hypnotist.
- 9:18Speaker 3: I'm sick as a dog. I got to get home.
- 9:24Speaker 1: You know you're not even sick, right?
- 9:25Speaker 3: I'm so sick.
- 9:26Speaker 1: None of us are sick.
- 9:27Speaker 3: It's like the more I think about it, it's just
- 9:29Speaker 3: like I might have to go to the hospital.
- 9:31Speaker 1: No one has been sick. I don't know why you're
- 9:33Speaker 1: feeling like this.
- 9:35Speaker 2: I'm mad because of the way that it was perceived
- 9:38Speaker 2: that I reacted to Danny– the fight, which is that
- 9:43Speaker 2: it looked like I just didn't do anything. And everyone's
- 9:45Speaker 2: been talking about, I have all these hero fantasies and
- 9:50Speaker 2: that this was my opportunity. And when finally presented with it,
- 9:52Speaker 2: I didn't do anything. I promise you, you're wrong. This
- 9:58Speaker 2: was a situation where I arrived. There were, you can
- 10:01Speaker 2: count them, six men on one person. And had I
- 10:08Speaker 2: rushed in at that point, you all would be making
- 10:12Speaker 2: fun of me for being performative. for piling on when
- 10:18Speaker 2: it was totally settled. So I knew that. I saw
- 10:22Speaker 2: that there was no fucking point in adding. I would
- 10:24Speaker 2: have just made things more chaotic.
- 10:26Speaker 1: You said you would have just been holding down another bar.
- 10:28Speaker 2: I would have taken the delivery driver's side to even
- 10:32Speaker 2: out the fucking odds. Six on one, try six on two.
- 10:35Speaker 2: And someone who's been trained for war. That's the shape
- 10:38Speaker 2: of my life right now. See, this shirt is made
- 10:41Speaker 2: of the military.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:43Speaker 2: This is an old parachute.
- 10:44Speaker 1: It's a flak jacket.
- 10:46Speaker 2: From the paratroopers that landed on Normandy.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Really?
- 10:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:50Speaker 3: That's interesting.
- 10:50Speaker 2: No, it's actually made in Japan, who I think were
- 10:53Speaker 2: our big enemies in World War II.
- 10:54Speaker 3: One of them for sure.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:56Speaker 2: The Pacific.
- 10:57Speaker 1: They definitely didn't have parachutes in their planes either. They
- 11:02Speaker 1: were taking those bitches to the ground. Those didn't even open.
- 11:06Speaker 1: You get welded into a Japanese airplane.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:08Speaker 1: This is.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Made from the skin of a kamikaze pilot.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Built a crash. It looks good. This thing's fucking sick.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Don't even try to tell me otherwise. I'm on the
- 11:20Speaker 2: warpath today. I'm fucking angry. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Gotta be.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Why? Because people are being nasty to you?
- 11:26Speaker 2: Just misperceptions, misconceptions, fake news.
- 11:31Speaker 3: There's way too many misperceptions going around.
- 11:33Speaker 2: It is one where I saw the other side of...
- 11:38Speaker 2: Of those comments, the trolls, right? Where I was like,
- 11:41Speaker 2: I know that if I had jumped in, they would
- 11:43Speaker 2: be making fun of me for this thing, which to
- 11:45Speaker 2: me would be worse, which makes me feel like they
- 11:48Speaker 2: don't deserve any credit and should all die.
- 11:50Speaker 1: What was your ideal scenario? I'm sure you've played that
- 11:53Speaker 1: out in your head. Like, say your first responder on
- 11:56Speaker 1: the scene.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Yeah, first responder. But here's the thing. I would have
- 11:58Speaker 2: needed to take my shirt off because it was, it
- 12:01Speaker 2: is a Tony Shirtmaker, Handsome, Dan Ruscotta made.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:05Speaker 2: And I bought it this weekend. It's brand new, chambray.
- 12:08Speaker 2: um the buttons are handsome of.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Course of course do you think one-on-one you would have
- 12:13Speaker 3: had a better chance than danny did with that guy
- 12:15Speaker 3: because that guy was like looking back on the video
- 12:17Speaker 3: that guy was a like he should be in the
- 12:19Speaker 3: nfl yeah he looked like aj brown.
- 12:21Speaker 2: I mean i don't know i don't know danny's a
- 12:25Speaker 2: cop former nypd cop he's a pretty tough.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Guy danny's first his initial uh His initial move after
- 12:33Speaker 1: he got the drink thrown at him to push the
- 12:35Speaker 1: guy back into the elevator to kind of tell him
- 12:37Speaker 1: to go back downstairs was a explosive move. That looked explosive.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Yeah, it was.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Unfortunately, the explosiveness.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Does anyone know what started the fight? Or is that
- 12:48Speaker 3: still like just kind of.
- 12:50Speaker 2: I heard something about how like this guy was like
- 12:52Speaker 2: taking a picture of Gia's food with the intention of
- 12:55Speaker 2: then stealing it. And she caught him and was like,
- 12:58Speaker 2: give me my food. That's for me.
- 13:01Speaker 1: And he said, no, I'm stealing this.
- 13:04Speaker 2: At this point, it's all hearsay.
- 13:07Speaker 1: No, I'm stealing it.
- 13:08Speaker 3: That seems a little weird. Why?
- 13:11Speaker 2: I actually thought that was a perfect explanation.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Why would he be trying to steal the food directly
- 13:17Speaker 3: in front of the glass door when he could just
- 13:19Speaker 3: steal it downstairs?
- 13:21Speaker 2: He needed to take a photograph of having put it
- 13:24Speaker 2: where it was. That's his proof that he didn't steal it.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Then he's not on the hook for the free lunch
- 13:29Speaker 2: he took.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Now he's in jail.
- 13:34Speaker 2: We're going to need more from you, man. The lack
- 13:36Speaker 2: of lead in your pencil is utterly flaccid. What's that?
- 13:40Speaker 3: I was watching the trial last night, live. Really? Yeah,
- 13:43Speaker 3: he's getting the chair.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I thought it was firing squad.
- 13:47Speaker 3: No, they're charging him in Florida for some reason. Yeah.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Is execution coming back in Florida? Where are they bringing
- 13:55Speaker 1: it back? I know it's somewhere.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Did it ever go away in Florida?
- 13:57Speaker 1: I thought that there was some place where they got
- 13:59Speaker 1: rid of a bunch of execution, but now execution's back
- 14:02Speaker 1: with a vengeance.
- 14:03Speaker 3: I thought it never left in Florida. I thought it
- 14:06Speaker 3: was always there.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Do you know that this was the case in 2010?
- 14:10Speaker 2: I don't know if it still is, but in Saudi Arabia,
- 14:14Speaker 2: which is a country that is technically governed by Sharia law, right?
- 14:18Speaker 2: Of course. Their constitution, you could argue, is the Koran. Mm-hmm.
- 14:22Speaker 2: So they take many of their rulings from a religious text.
- 14:26Speaker 2: And there was a law that allowed for someone to
- 14:33Speaker 2: be publicly stoned to death.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 14:36Speaker 2: As recently as 2010. And I remember asking this. I
- 14:40Speaker 2: took a Middle Eastern studies class in college. And I
- 14:42Speaker 2: asked the professor who was a woman. She was Saudi.
- 14:45Speaker 2: So she was always being like, it's not that bad.
- 14:48Speaker 3: Really?
- 14:49Speaker 2: And then she had to teach us that one day.
- 14:51Speaker 2: And I was like, that's pretty bad. And she was like,
- 14:54Speaker 2: the odds of it happening are incredibly slim. Here's what
- 14:57Speaker 2: needs to happen in order for that to happen.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:00Speaker 2: You need to walk in on your own wife fucking
- 15:06Speaker 2: another guy in your bed. And then like you needed
- 15:10Speaker 2: to have another direct family member like her dad also
- 15:14Speaker 2: bear witness to that. And if all of those things happened,
- 15:18Speaker 2: the village could line up with rocks and throw them
- 15:21Speaker 2: at her until she died.
- 15:23Speaker 1: This completely hypothetical situation that never definitely happened to one
- 15:27Speaker 1: specific dude.
- 15:28Speaker 3: That's pretty crazy.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Imagine being like, I think my wife's cheating on me.
- 15:34Speaker 2: I need to get her father to walk in with me.
- 15:37Speaker 3: That's the rules. That's crazy. Yeah, getting stoned to death
- 15:41Speaker 3: would be pretty brutal, but I think I would definitely prefer...
- 15:45Speaker 3: The chair or the firing squad. The firing squad doesn't
- 15:49Speaker 3: really feel like it's that bad for you. You just die, right?
- 15:53Speaker 1: Firing squad's choice.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Firing squad's still painful.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Is it?
- 15:59Speaker 2: I think the least painful, even though they say it
- 16:03Speaker 2: still is painful, is lethal injection.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 16:06Speaker 3: But I think it's because it can go wrong.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Well, I don't know. I believe maybe they knock you
- 16:13Speaker 2: out first and then kill you. It's pretty grisly to
- 16:16Speaker 2: think about.
- 16:16Speaker 3: I mean, isn't a firing squad, you just get shot?
- 16:19Speaker 2: Yeah, but like six guys.
- 16:21Speaker 3: No, I thought only one of them is actually shooting.
- 16:23Speaker 1: But they shoot, they hit each one of your limbs
- 16:25Speaker 1: like you're at a shooting range. Oh, really?
- 16:27Speaker 3: They don't go, they go.
- 16:28Speaker 1: They go arm, leg, leg, arm.
- 16:30Speaker 3: So it's not just one shot to the head?
- 16:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Is that true that only one of them actually has
- 16:35Speaker 2: a real round?
- 16:36Speaker 3: From what I've heard is that only one person is
- 16:39Speaker 3: actually shooting real rounds, but no one, none of the
- 16:41Speaker 3: guys shooting know who has the real rounds.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Oh, so that they don't feel bad.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Yeah. So they all assume like, well, I didn't, I
- 16:46Speaker 3: wasn't the one. Yeah.
- 16:47Speaker 1: I was just aiming to kill you.
- 16:50Speaker 2: You sound like my Saudi professor.
- 16:53Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure that's how it works.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Can we look that up, Tyler? Is that true?
- 16:57Speaker 1: That definitely happened at some level of firing squad. I
- 16:59Speaker 1: don't know if that's all firing squad as they currently stand.
- 17:03Speaker 2: If there's only one person with a bullet, there's a
- 17:06Speaker 2: pretty high likelihood they're not going to kill the guy.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I don't know.
- 17:10Speaker 2: In which case, that's a nightmare.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Well, no, it's not only one bullet. I think one
- 17:15Speaker 3: gun is filled with real bullets.
- 17:16Speaker 2: So what, he shoots multiple times?
- 17:18Speaker 3: Oh, I think they all empty the clip.
- 17:20Speaker 1: No way.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:22Speaker 2: What are you fucking talking about?
- 17:23Speaker 3: What do you think, they all take one shot? Yeah.
- 17:25Speaker 3: They're not holding AK-47s.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Yes, they are.
- 17:30Speaker 3: In places that are doing firing squads.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Okay, well, I'm talking about like in, you know, when
- 17:35Speaker 2: we had death by firing squad here in America, it
- 17:39Speaker 2: was rifles.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Yeah. You're talking about like a war movie where they
- 17:42Speaker 1: like make someone stand up against the wall.
- 17:45Speaker 3: No, you're thinking of like Al Capone, like the Valentine's
- 17:49Speaker 3: Day Massacre.
- 17:50Speaker 2: If you're talking about like Syrian firing squads, I guarantee
- 17:54Speaker 2: you they don't care about the guilt of the other
- 17:57Speaker 2: five guys wondering like, oh man, I wonder if my
- 18:01Speaker 2: AK-47 has the 70 fake bullets that are going to
- 18:04Speaker 2: riddle this guy's body.
- 18:05Speaker 3: This says historically one or more rifles in a traditional
- 18:09Speaker 3: firing squad are loaded with blanks instead of live rounds.
- 18:12Speaker 1: So it's the other way around.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Yeah, one guy. It's like credit card roulette.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Why would you want to be the one guy that
- 18:17Speaker 3: didn't do shit? Like if everyone's shooting real bullets.
- 18:21Speaker 2: So that you can tell yourself I didn't kill anyone.
- 18:23Speaker 3: Yeah, but if everyone is shooting real bullets and you're like, oh,
- 18:25Speaker 3: they gave me the gun with fake bullets. Like that
- 18:28Speaker 3: feels like more like you're going to feel worse.
- 18:30Speaker 1: It's like letting your little brother hold the controller. Yeah.
- 18:33Speaker 3: They should just remove that guy from the firing squad.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Well, then they know. Everyone knows I had a hand
- 18:38Speaker 2: in killing. I've killed someone.
- 18:40Speaker 3: I think you've got to just assume like you probably
- 18:42Speaker 3: did kill someone.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Or don't sign up for firing squad. as your extracurricular activity.
- 18:47Speaker 3: I mean, if a firing squad, if I'm wrong and
- 18:49Speaker 3: the firing squad is like 10 dudes lined up all
- 18:53Speaker 3: with real bullets, then that's definitely the best way to
- 18:56Speaker 3: get killed. You're, it's a wall of bullets coming at you.
- 19:00Speaker 3: You're going to die immediately.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:03Speaker 1: You're in 300.
- 19:07Speaker 3: I would much rather get that than anything else.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Tyler, uh, what, uh, what, Never mind. I can't even
- 19:15Speaker 2: remember what I was going to... Oh! Are they told
- 19:17Speaker 2: to aim for the head or the chest?
- 19:20Speaker 1: Definitely the head.
- 19:21Speaker 2: I don't think they do aim for the head. Why?
- 19:23Speaker 3: A closed casket? Or is it like a.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Yeah, the grandmas are coming to the funeral. Look what
- 19:28Speaker 2: they did to my boy.
- 19:31Speaker 1: They said aim at the chest area. Oh, so that
- 19:34Speaker 1: is painful.
- 19:36Speaker 2: No, it's not.
- 19:38Speaker 1: You don't die right away if you're shot in your chest.
- 19:40Speaker 3: If you get hit with eight bullets at once to
- 19:42Speaker 3: the chest, you will explode. But you'll see it happen. No,
- 19:48Speaker 3: you will not.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Not true. immediately.
- 19:53Speaker 3: It doesn't matter what kind of gun it is or
- 19:56Speaker 3: what kind of bullet it is. If there's eight people
- 19:58Speaker 3: shooting at your chest, you're going to die instantly.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I got a bad feeling. Most of them would miss
- 20:04Speaker 2: in different parts of my chest, and I'd be breathing
- 20:07Speaker 2: like this for a while. Slumped against the ropes that
- 20:13Speaker 2: are holding me up. There you go.
- 20:17Speaker 3: Yeah, see, that's a problem.
- 20:18Speaker 2: It happens.
- 20:19Speaker 3: You don't want to survive.
- 20:20Speaker 1: He lived for 60 years after he got killed.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Yeah, his name's 50 Cent.
- 20:25Speaker 1: 60 years. Muchos hombres.
- 20:29Speaker 2: He survived a point blank coup de grace shot to
- 20:32Speaker 2: the head in 1915. That's fucked.
- 20:36Speaker 3: I mean, they must have been using those old marble
- 20:38Speaker 3: bullets that just bounce off of you.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Yeah. Airsoft guns. That's nuts.
- 20:44Speaker 3: How long do you think firing squad by airsoft gun
- 20:47Speaker 3: would take?
- 20:49Speaker 1: That's like the dudes that eat a bucket of Fanto
- 20:52Speaker 1: with a hair.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Have you ever seen those videos? Guys who will eat
- 20:57Speaker 1: like a... two ounce or a two liter coke with
- 21:00Speaker 1: like a paper clip and they just like.
- 21:02Speaker 3: No I don't like I've seen that it just takes forever.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Yeah it takes forever an airsoft gun it's like getting
- 21:13Speaker 1: a laser to death.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Yeah I've been shot have you guys ever been shot
- 21:17Speaker 3: by an airsoft gun yeah it's not that bad it
- 21:20Speaker 3: would take a long time for it to kill you
- 21:23Speaker 3: look at these psychos you'd have to get shot like
- 21:25Speaker 3: a hundred times in the neck.
- 21:28Speaker 2: This is, oh, you think this is real? You think
- 21:31Speaker 2: he's not, you know, making this up to some degree?
- 21:34Speaker 3: I mean, it hasn't moved at all. So I would
- 21:35Speaker 3: assume now.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Two hours.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Is that?
- 21:42Speaker 1: And he had made no progress.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Bro, this is insane. There's no way.
- 21:46Speaker 1: This is so Japanese.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:47Speaker 3: What do you think's going on? And what is the,
- 21:49Speaker 3: is he at like an event?
- 21:50Speaker 2: What is the 99?
- 21:50Speaker 3: Oh, that's like his subscribers.
- 21:54Speaker 2: He hasn't gotten up to. Piss or anything like that?
- 21:57Speaker 2: I'm telling you, there's no way this is.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Oh, there was just a big jump right there.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Yeah, he's cheating.
- 22:01Speaker 2: This is fake.
- 22:02Speaker 1: There's another jump.
- 22:03Speaker 3: You've been duped.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:04Speaker 3: He's been sitting at this table for three minutes.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Well, I didn't think that these are....
- 22:10Speaker 2: Yeah, forget it. This is what I envision Harry doing
- 22:14Speaker 2: every night.
- 22:16Speaker 1: He's like, I'm sick, I don't know why.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Time for me to.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Have my big bowl of energy drinks.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Drink my six energy drinks with a paperclip. Oh, no,
- 22:25Speaker 2: it's 9 a.m. I'm so tired.
- 22:30Speaker 3: I mean, it seems like six hours like that's no one.
- 22:35Speaker 3: No one's doing that. No one's doing that.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Fucking hot.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it's hot as shit. It's like we're in the
- 22:41Speaker 3: fucking desert.
- 22:43Speaker 1: What would you guys add to this room to make
- 22:45Speaker 1: it more homey?
- 22:45Speaker 2: Air conditioning.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely.
- 22:47Speaker 1: That's on the central air.
- 22:49Speaker 3: I mean, it's not even like there's not even like
- 22:52Speaker 3: a single thing on in this room.
- 22:55Speaker 2: This air in here is the least circulated air. I
- 23:00Speaker 2: actually would imagine we have been rebreathing our own carbon
- 23:05Speaker 2: dioxide the whole time we've been doing this podcast.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Yeah, for years. That's why we're sick every time we
- 23:10Speaker 3: come in here. There's mold all over the place.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:14Speaker 3: Probably lift up these couches. There's like black mold everywhere.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Feels like we're in a fucking submarine. Yeah.
- 23:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Where everything broke.
- 23:20Speaker 3: Well, haven't we asked them if they could fix it
- 23:23Speaker 3: like a hundred times?
- 23:24Speaker 2: Yeah, and they made fun of us.
- 23:26Speaker 3: We need to lock out. There needs to be a
- 23:28Speaker 3: lockout until we get AC.
- 23:29Speaker 2: How about a walkout? I cannot work in these conditions. Yeah.
- 23:33Speaker 1: A walkout, and we just continue the episode. It's like
- 23:36Speaker 1: a 90-minute episode, but for the last 70 minutes, it's
- 23:40Speaker 1: just empty.
- 23:42Speaker 2: We need to go record in the Plan Breeze studio
- 23:45Speaker 2: and protest or something like that.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Oh, they probably got... Perfect airflow in there.
- 23:49Speaker 2: I bet you.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Down to a science.
- 23:51Speaker 2: I mean, it's probably like pH balanced with the exact right,
- 23:56Speaker 2: you know, it's like casino air. Yeah. Well, we've been
- 23:59Speaker 2: podcasting for four hours. I didn't even realize.
- 24:02Speaker 1: It's tomorrow. What time is it? Is the sun coming up?
- 24:05Speaker 2: My God. Think how long our episodes would be. Yeah. Fun.
- 24:08Speaker 3: If we didn't have to get out. It's like we
- 24:12Speaker 3: had an hour and a half and it's like, it's
- 24:13Speaker 3: no longer safe for us to be in this room.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Getting air quality alerts on our phone. What the fuck
- 24:21Speaker 1: is this? Another Canadian wildfire? Or did J. Will just
- 24:25Speaker 1: burn it down?
- 24:27Speaker 2: It is crazy.
- 24:29Speaker 3: I mean, they really got to fix it. I don't
- 24:32Speaker 3: know what else to say, to be honest. All right,
- 24:35Speaker 3: Christopher Walken. I mean, they said they were going to
- 24:37Speaker 3: fix it. Pete said he was going to get it fixed, right?
- 24:40Speaker 2: I think he said he would look into it. And
- 24:43Speaker 2: he came up here and he was like, who's doing drugs?
- 24:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah yeah he said that you know jay will
- 24:48Speaker 1: sets his interior temperature of his house to 77 in
- 24:53Speaker 1: florida what what i don't think it's that crazy oh
- 24:57Speaker 1: shut up dude that's insane but if.
- 25:00Speaker 3: You live in that's what this is yeah but if
- 25:02Speaker 3: you live in florida it's not that bad it's bad
- 25:07Speaker 3: because it's probably what it's probably a hundred outside.
- 25:09Speaker 2: It's worse in florida You need reprieve from how hot
- 25:13Speaker 2: it is.
- 25:14Speaker 3: But if you live there, if you live in Orlando
- 25:17Speaker 3: all year round, you're probably pretty used to the heat,
- 25:21Speaker 3: more so than we are.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Not inside, though.
- 25:24Speaker 3: Yes, inside and outside.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Think about sleeping in 77 degree.
- 25:28Speaker 1: He said he turns it down when he sleeps.
- 25:30Speaker 2: To what?
- 25:32Speaker 3: To like 71. 71, I think, is a good temp.
- 25:35Speaker 3: That's what I keep my place at until the nighttime,
- 25:37Speaker 3: and I crank it down to zero. I want to
- 25:43Speaker 3: be shivering going to bed.
- 25:44Speaker 1: 77 is fucking insane, though.
- 25:47Speaker 2: That's crazy to me.
- 25:48Speaker 3: And my AC is automatically set to 78.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Francis, you strike me as a 68 guy.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Well, it's funny you say that, because that would be
- 25:57Speaker 2: my temperature, and when I'm traveling, that is my temperature
- 26:00Speaker 2: for sleeping. However... When I sleep in my apartment with
- 26:04Speaker 2: my AIDS sleep, the bed is so fucking cold that
- 26:08Speaker 2: I have to turn the thermostat to 73. You do?
- 26:12Speaker 2: I swear to God. If I have the air at
- 26:16Speaker 2: 71 and my bed where it is, I'm too cold.
- 26:21Speaker 2: I'm uncomfortably cold under a full comforter.
- 26:24Speaker 3: How much is the AIDS sleep thing cost?
- 26:30Speaker 1: I'm curious as well, because my wife is interested in
- 26:33Speaker 1: an AIDS sleep.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Oh, the AIDS sleep is, it's like, I think it's
- 26:38Speaker 2: like 3000. But if you have full blown HIV.
- 26:41Speaker 3: It's four.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 26:43Speaker 3: If you want the full package.
- 26:44Speaker 2: If you need the immunity boosting. Yeah.
- 26:47Speaker 3: The prep.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Circulation.
- 26:49Speaker 1: The prep package.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I don't know. I think it's like 2800 or something.
- 26:52Speaker 3: I think sounds nice. But I feel like you said
- 26:54Speaker 3: it kind of fucks up when you sleep other places now.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Like if you go on the road. Or if you travel.
- 26:59Speaker 2: I meant that just to say that I, you know,
- 27:03Speaker 2: I love it so much that like.
- 27:06Speaker 3: And do you have one in your apartment and upstate?
- 27:08Speaker 3: I bought one from upstate as well. I might have
- 27:10Speaker 3: to cop one of these.
- 27:11Speaker 2: But I haven't.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Exchange the laptop. Do they sell them at like Best Buy?
- 27:15Speaker 3: They sell them at Best Buy. Well, sometimes they do.
- 27:17Speaker 3: Sometimes they sell stuff like that there.
- 27:19Speaker 1: I just like that you're acting like it's like a
- 27:21Speaker 1: chip that you can cash in.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Oh, I think I could probably exchange the laptop for
- 27:25Speaker 3: the AIDS.
- 27:25Speaker 2: A $ 5, 000 laptop.
- 27:29Speaker 1: How much do you think is depreciated now that you've
- 27:31Speaker 1: driven it off the lot?
- 27:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, it's been used, I think, twice ever,
- 27:35Speaker 3: so not much.
- 27:36Speaker 1: So those retain their value pretty well?
- 27:38Speaker 3: Yeah, they should. Probably not, though.
- 27:41Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 27:42Speaker 1: I literally don't know anything about it.
- 27:43Speaker 3: I could probably get like a rack and a half
- 27:44Speaker 3: for it.
- 27:45Speaker 1: I'm not trying to hit you with a gutcha.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Maybe two. Yeah.
- 27:48Speaker 3: Maybe two bands.
- 27:49Speaker 2: I sold my guitar for $ 2, 500. Did I tell you
- 27:50Speaker 2: guys that? Yeah.
- 27:51Speaker 3: How much did you buy it for?
- 27:52Speaker 2: 3000 oh okay maybe 3500 oh.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Wow that's actually pretty solid it was really good did
- 27:58Speaker 3: you get more joy from your guitar or your age sleep.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Uh definitely the aids because um i don't know i
- 28:05Speaker 2: wasn't playing my guitar and i sleep in the aids every.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Night yeah at the peak of your guitar.
- 28:11Speaker 2: The peak of my guitar was the first week that
- 28:14Speaker 2: i bought it yeah that's everybody and then right after
- 28:17Speaker 2: that it Collected dust.
- 28:19Speaker 3: Yeah Would you ever learn any Like good songs at least?
- 28:21Speaker 2: Well I mean I had a I had a teacher
- 28:24Speaker 2: Who would come Who was actually The fucking man Who
- 28:26Speaker 2: came once And we would smoke weed And then play
- 28:29Speaker 2: and just jam It was really fun And I was
- 28:31Speaker 2: like I'm gonna do this forever.
- 28:32Speaker 3: You weren't learning shit You guys were probably Just playing
- 28:35Speaker 3: random ass.
- 28:36Speaker 2: No he was giving me like Scales and things to
- 28:39Speaker 2: work on But the problem was that It's just Anytime
- 28:43Speaker 2: I want to play music I would just end up
- 28:44Speaker 2: Sitting down at the piano Who's weed?
- 28:47Speaker 1: Whose weed was it mine so he would come over
- 28:50Speaker 1: to your house you'd pay him and then and you'd
- 28:52Speaker 1: smoke him up and he just would play guitar in
- 28:54Speaker 1: front of you.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Well the first time we didn't do any of the
- 28:57Speaker 2: weed no we would we would we would play chords
- 28:59Speaker 2: while i would solo and then we would switch.
- 29:02Speaker 1: And did you have enough chords at that time where
- 29:04Speaker 1: you could.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I started playing guitar when I was in seventh grade.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Got it. So you were fast.
- 29:09Speaker 2: And I took a lot of... I took lessons for
- 29:11Speaker 2: like five years then. I was in jazz band, all
- 29:13Speaker 2: that shit.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Yeah, got it. So you kind of knew what you
- 29:15Speaker 3: were doing. You didn't know any Hendrix? You guys do
- 29:17Speaker 3: any Hendrix?
- 29:18Speaker 2: We did not.
- 29:19Speaker 3: Purple Haze?
- 29:20Speaker 2: Nope. No. Strictly white music. Oh.
- 29:23Speaker 1: No Prince?
- 29:24Speaker 3: All Along the Watchtower?
- 29:25Speaker 1: Purple Rain?
- 29:25Speaker 2: No.
- 29:26Speaker 3: It's a Dylan song originally.
- 29:27Speaker 2: It's white. All along the Watchtower, yeah. True. Well, ever
- 29:31Speaker 2: since Jimmy bastardized it, we've never touched on that again.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Ruined it. What jazzy instruments did you play?
- 29:40Speaker 3: I played piano and I played clarinet.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Clarinet.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Think about all those musicians who died after like one
- 29:49Speaker 2: or two albums who are immortalized forever because they just
- 29:52Speaker 2: never had the opportunity to make a bad album.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Do you think that if... your inspiration, Amy Schumer, had
- 29:59Speaker 2: stopped after her first special, we would look at her
- 30:03Speaker 2: the same way that we look at Louie?
- 30:06Speaker 3: Probably not, because Louie has like eight really good albums.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Yeah, but her first special was spectacular.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's still, you wouldn't be looking at her
- 30:15Speaker 3: as the greatest of all time.
- 30:17Speaker 2: You don't think we'd have some kind of like cult
- 30:19Speaker 2: hero status for Amy Schumer? No. For one special? Died
- 30:24Speaker 2: too soon.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Died? That's what he's saying. Oh, she's dead in this scenario.
- 30:29Speaker 2: What happened here?
- 30:30Speaker 3: I thought you said that she just stopped making albums
- 30:32Speaker 3: after that one.
- 30:32Speaker 2: She was Jimi Hendrix. Okay.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Yeah, probably. She'd probably be considered as like one of
- 30:37Speaker 3: the greats.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Yes. Yeah. Right.
- 30:39Speaker 3: One special dead.
- 30:41Speaker 2: So then we'd have to say about her that she
- 30:44Speaker 2: survived too long. Yeah.
- 30:47Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, you either die a hero or you
- 30:49Speaker 3: live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Spot on. Exactly.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Or that's, I mean, that's what Achilles said when... No,
- 30:55Speaker 1: that was.
- 30:56Speaker 3: Batman said that. No, it actually wasn't.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Was it Harvey Dent?
- 31:01Speaker 3: Harvey Dent said that.
- 31:03Speaker 2: And you know who wrote it? Was Christopher Nolan's brother.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Really?
- 31:07Speaker 2: And he was like annoyed almost that his brother had
- 31:10Speaker 2: come up with by far the most memorable line.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Of the entire trilogy. Yeah, that's tough. Did he get
- 31:15Speaker 3: paid at least?
- 31:17Speaker 2: I would assume so.
- 31:18Speaker 3: I'd be like, you got to throw me at least
- 31:19Speaker 3: like 10 M's for that.
- 31:21Speaker 2: M's?
- 31:22Speaker 1: For the Dark Knight?
- 31:25Speaker 3: For The Dark Knight? You come up with the best
- 31:27Speaker 3: line in The Dark Knight? That's 10 M's. No way.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:31Speaker 3: What do you think it is?
- 31:32Speaker 1: That's $ 100, 000 and a weekend at the lake house.
- 31:37Speaker 2: What?
- 31:37Speaker 3: 100 bands?
- 31:38Speaker 1: For a line?
- 31:39Speaker 3: Christopher Nolan's not getting up for 100 bands.
- 31:42Speaker 1: But it was his brother, wasn't it?
- 31:44Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 31:45Speaker 3: I think they collaborate frequently on their movies. Oh, really?
- 31:48Speaker 2: I think so. Interesting.
- 31:49Speaker 1: A little bonus. A bonus is nice. But when Odysseus
- 31:54Speaker 1: went to the River Styx and talked to Achilles, and Achilles,
- 31:59Speaker 1: he was like... Tendon. He was offered... Nice.
- 32:02Speaker 3: Holy shit.
- 32:03Speaker 1: You're back.
- 32:04Speaker 2: Welcome back. You're not sick at all. You've been lulling
- 32:09Speaker 2: us into a false sense of sickness. I know.
- 32:11Speaker 3: It's all a ruse.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Turns out you've been riding with those cockroaches all night.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Riding killer material.
- 32:18Speaker 3: Wait, so he met up with Achilles?
- 32:20Speaker 1: And Achilles had the option of living a short life
- 32:23Speaker 1: and being a hero or living a long life and
- 32:29Speaker 1: not having to spend the rest of his eternity on
- 32:32Speaker 1: the River Styx or whatever in fucking Hades. And he
- 32:35Speaker 1: was like, don't worry. Don't take the glory. Don't worry
- 32:38Speaker 1: about the glory. The most important thing is being alive.
- 32:40Speaker 1: The most important thing is having a long life.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Really?
- 32:43Speaker 1: So it's like for the Schumer of it, like, Schumer
- 32:45Speaker 1: maybe would have been a legend if she went off,
- 32:47Speaker 1: but it's just better to be alive. Right. It's better
- 32:50Speaker 1: to be among the living.
- 32:51Speaker 3: Is it, though? Good question.
- 32:53Speaker 1: It's a great question. Bro, this is fucking Achilles talking, bro.
- 32:57Speaker 1: This is not me saying this.
- 32:57Speaker 3: I don't know Achilles like that, though.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Brad Pitt in Troy?
- 33:01Speaker 3: I can't just trust him with everything.
- 33:04Speaker 2: You either die a hero or you live long enough
- 33:06Speaker 2: to tear your Achilles.
- 33:07Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Oh, that's what happened to Kobe.
- 33:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:11Speaker 2: And then he died.
- 33:12Speaker 3: Yeah, and then he died again.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Fuck. By the way, I have a major life thing. Yeah.
- 33:20Speaker 2: I have a major life thing I want to ask
- 33:22Speaker 2: you guys about because it's something I'm really considering, which
- 33:25Speaker 2: is I think I'm ready. I think I want to
- 33:28Speaker 2: become a single dad.
- 33:30Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 33:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:32Speaker 3: Interesting.
- 33:33Speaker 2: I think I'm going to do. And Rowan, I care
- 33:35Speaker 2: far more about your opinion on this than Harry's.
- 33:38Speaker 3: 50-50.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Well, you're a father and Harry is not. I don't know.
- 33:44Speaker 1: You're talking to a future father one day.
- 33:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:46Speaker 1: He's an aspiring father.
- 33:48Speaker 3: One day.
- 33:49Speaker 1: He'll be a father one day for sure.
- 33:51Speaker 2: So, yeah. So, I'm thinking I'm going to find probably
- 33:56Speaker 2: like a very poor Latin woman.
- 33:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Oh, I thought that you were going to go traditional
- 34:02Speaker 1: adoption style, not knock-em-up style.
- 34:05Speaker 2: I need one of my own. One for me.
- 34:08Speaker 3: How do you get her out of the equation, though?
- 34:10Speaker 2: What?
- 34:11Speaker 1: How are you going to.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Remove her from the equation? Oh, you just pay her.
- 34:13Speaker 2: She'll be a surrogate. Oh, okay. Yeah. Surrogato.
- 34:17Speaker 3: Yeah. Aren't you worried that maybe you'll like, what if
- 34:19Speaker 3: you guys fall in love?
- 34:20Speaker 2: Oh, I'll never meet her. Oh.
- 34:22Speaker 3: Well, how are you going to give her your child?
- 34:24Speaker 3: We'll do a handoff. Oh, I see.
- 34:26Speaker 1: He's sending it through Jason Kelsey's beer company.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Yeah. We'll do a handoff through ice. I'll be like, wait,
- 34:31Speaker 2: that one's mine? Okay, now take it.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Why Latin?
- 34:36Speaker 2: They're the most ripe.
- 34:37Speaker 1: They're fertile.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Why not have a batch then?
- 34:41Speaker 2: I'll start with one and see how athletic they become.
- 34:47Speaker 2: And yes, they will be trans. So that we can
- 34:51Speaker 2: choose which leagues to enroll them in for dominance sake.
- 34:56Speaker 1: I know a lot of short Mexicans, I was going
- 34:57Speaker 1: to say.
- 34:58Speaker 2: Well, that's why I need to find a very tall
- 35:03Speaker 2: Latin consuela.
- 35:05Speaker 3: What's the tallest Latin person? What's the tallest group of Latins?
- 35:14Speaker 2: Brazilian? Probably Chilean.
- 35:17Speaker 1: There's that one Native American dude who's on the Cowboys
- 35:20Speaker 1: is 6'9. Are you sure you don't want a Native American?
- 35:25Speaker 2: Oh, that would be cool, too.
- 35:26Speaker 3: Maybe you could just have one of his children.
- 35:28Speaker 1: You could be the target.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Yeah. I think Native Americans have the highest percentage chance
- 35:35Speaker 2: of getting into elite universities. Really? Admissions committees give the
- 35:40Speaker 2: most leniency to people of tribal roots. Really? Interesting.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Interesting.
- 35:47Speaker 2: I mean, I made that up, but that's my perception. Yeah.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Because guys love saying, I have a black friend. But
- 35:53Speaker 1: imagine saying, I have a Native American student at my university.
- 35:57Speaker 3: I have an indigenous person that I'm friends with.
- 35:59Speaker 1: I have an indigenous on deck.
- 36:02Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe, but- Is there like a dating app where
- 36:05Speaker 3: you can find indigenous women?
- 36:08Speaker 2: No, I think they don't have phones.
- 36:10Speaker 3: Tindigenous?
- 36:11Speaker 2: Yeah. He's back.
- 36:15Speaker 1: He's back.
- 36:16Speaker 2: You actually might be back. You might be back from
- 36:19Speaker 2: that one. That was way better than the tendon bullshit
- 36:24Speaker 2: that you put together. Indigenous is great.
- 36:31Speaker 3: These people are all insanely short. You're never going to
- 36:35Speaker 3: have a tall kid if you're going with a Latin woman.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:37Speaker 3: Five, three, they're all five, four.
- 36:39Speaker 2: Golly.
- 36:40Speaker 1: That's the way top tallest was five, four Puerto Rican. Yeah.
- 36:45Speaker 1: And that's American.
- 36:46Speaker 2: Yeah. But here's the thing, you know, I think that
- 36:49Speaker 2: if I become a single father, first of all, no
- 36:52Speaker 2: one will meddle with my parenting techniques. So all the
- 36:55Speaker 2: imprinting is my own. I get to download, upload all
- 37:00Speaker 2: my own software to this kid.
- 37:01Speaker 3: Yeah, that is true. It is all you. It means
- 37:05Speaker 3: a lot of responsibility.
- 37:06Speaker 1: What style of parent would you be? What are you
- 37:09Speaker 1: hoping to teach them?
- 37:11Speaker 2: How to fend for themselves. How to be independent. Because
- 37:15Speaker 2: I'm not going to be around much. I have a
- 37:19Speaker 2: very busy schedule. And until they can play golf, they're
- 37:25Speaker 2: not going to be with me.
- 37:26Speaker 3: Yeah, of course.
- 37:28Speaker 2: But I will outsource a lot of the parenting to
- 37:32Speaker 2: probably a Latin nanny.
- 37:34Speaker 1: A Latin nanny.
- 37:35Speaker 2: To sort of just like keep them close to their roots.
- 37:38Speaker 1: Well, you'll need a day nanny, night nanny, weekend nanny.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:41Speaker 1: You're going to need to have a trio of contuelos.
- 37:45Speaker 2: Which I can afford.
- 37:46Speaker 3: So you're just getting like a roommate pretty much. Yeah.
- 37:51Speaker 1: You're getting a rotating cast of different aged roommates.
- 37:54Speaker 3: Maybe you should just adopt like a 12-year-old.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Stop telling me to adopt.
- 38:00Speaker 1: His genes are important.
- 38:03Speaker 2: I need an heir.
- 38:04Speaker 3: If you adopted, you could be a father today. You
- 38:07Speaker 3: could pick up a kid today.
- 38:08Speaker 2: I wonder about that.
- 38:09Speaker 1: And you could be like, if you get a 12-year-old,
- 38:11Speaker 1: you're out of the game in six years.
- 38:13Speaker 3: It's less easy. You don't even have to pay for
- 38:15Speaker 3: their school because they're going to be indigenous.
- 38:17Speaker 2: It would be nice to have.
- 38:20Speaker 3: Full ride.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Full rides everywhere.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Even though you can absolutely afford it, we're going to
- 38:26Speaker 2: let you in on this one. By the way, I
- 38:31Speaker 2: don't know about that. What was the question you just
- 38:33Speaker 2: asked before that, though?
- 38:35Speaker 3: Adopt What do.
- 38:37Speaker 1: You want the kid to be like? Who's one of
- 38:39Speaker 1: those two?
- 38:40Speaker 2: Adopting, it would be nice to get A kid who's
- 38:43Speaker 2: housebroken already.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Yeah, 12, 12 is the sweet spot.
- 38:47Speaker 2: No, I think it's like 4 Probably, right?
- 38:50Speaker 1: That's a lot of years.
- 38:52Speaker 3: You want a kid that's born in the blood In
- 38:55Speaker 3: the what? Born in blood, been through it Because then
- 38:57Speaker 3: everything is just like a level up Like, oh my god,
- 39:00Speaker 3: this apartment is so nice.
- 39:02Speaker 2: Oh, so one that has known squalor.
- 39:05Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 39:06Speaker 2: That I've rescued.
- 39:07Speaker 3: Yeah, you rescue the kid.
- 39:09Speaker 2: How long until they become accustomed to their nice things?
- 39:13Speaker 2: I need to kind of keep them in like a middle,
- 39:16Speaker 2: like a halfway house.
- 39:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that's why you need to get someone
- 39:19Speaker 3: that's like 12 or 13.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Adopt them to abuse them.
- 39:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:23Speaker 1: I feel like that happens a lot. I feel like
- 39:25Speaker 1: there's always someone who adopted nine kids and they've all
- 39:28Speaker 1: been chained in their basement.
- 39:30Speaker 3: Chained to a radiator. Yeah. I've seen a couple documentaries
- 39:34Speaker 3: about that.
- 39:34Speaker 2: It's pretty crazy.
- 39:35Speaker 3: It happens all the time.
- 39:36Speaker 1: Well, you probably would get insane supplementary welfare checks and
- 39:40Speaker 1: stuff like that.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Tax write-offs. Tax write-offs would be nice.
- 39:43Speaker 3: It's definitely a write-off.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Because I've been looking into how many specific... livestock animals
- 39:52Speaker 2: i need to own in order to qualify my home
- 39:55Speaker 2: as a farm right what is it like one cow
- 39:58Speaker 2: it's a no it's a few i think it's a
- 40:00Speaker 2: few it depends on the state but in new jersey
- 40:02Speaker 2: if like if you have a certain number of chickens
- 40:04Speaker 2: yeah maybe a llama or two you get farm subsidies
- 40:09Speaker 2: interest tax right.
- 40:09Speaker 3: Because i know rick ross has like a big ass
- 40:11Speaker 3: cow right.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Yeah yeah oh it's no magic number So he.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Doesn't have to pay Uncle Sam.
- 40:17Speaker 3: Have you guys ever heard that Rick Ross song where
- 40:19Speaker 3: he's like admitting to date rape?
- 40:21Speaker 1: Yes.
- 40:22Speaker 3: It's like Molly on a champagne.
- 40:24Speaker 1: She ain't even know it.
- 40:25Speaker 3: Took a home and I had that.
- 40:27Speaker 1: She ain't even know it.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Yikes. Yikes.
- 40:35Speaker 3: It's a tough one.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:36Speaker 3: It's a good one to play in front of your
- 40:38Speaker 3: boys though and see if they notice.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Oh, you're vibing to this?
- 40:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:42Speaker 3: Oh, because listen closer to the lyrics.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:44Speaker 3: Let me send you this genius link.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Why don't you come on out, Chris Hansen?
- 40:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it's pretty insane.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Chris Hansen's getting... Now that they've got this movie coming out.
- 40:57Speaker 1: He's having a renaissance.
- 40:57Speaker 2: I thought they were kind of grilling him. They're kind
- 41:00Speaker 2: of grilling him. They're kind of blaming him for both
- 41:04Speaker 2: kind of glorifying this, maybe, and also for... Knocking men
- 41:11Speaker 2: down when they're at their low. It's like both sides.
- 41:15Speaker 3: Which side is knocking them down when they're at their low?
- 41:18Speaker 2: Pedophiles United? United Pedophiles Rights Organization?
- 41:23Speaker 3: Wait, isn't that like an actual thing?
- 41:25Speaker 2: What is it?
- 41:25Speaker 1: NAMBLA.
- 41:26Speaker 3: NAMBLA, yeah. North American Man Boy Love.
- 41:29Speaker 1: But but he's saying that he made it too popular
- 41:33Speaker 1: like people were doing it so hopefully they could get
- 41:36Speaker 1: on to to catch a predator like it was the
- 41:38Speaker 1: prices right like they like run down and like.
- 41:42Speaker 3: Give him a big hug like he's drew carrie or
- 41:45Speaker 3: some shit maybe that happened like once there's no chance.
- 41:47Speaker 1: Anybody ever wanted to be on it they're always like
- 41:50Speaker 1: i knew this was gonna happen yeah i knew this
- 41:52Speaker 1: was fake Imagine a guy getting.
- 41:54Speaker 2: Carried out in handcuffs and being like, my album's dropping
- 41:56Speaker 2: in two weeks. Download it on SoundCloud.
- 42:00Speaker 3: There probably is a world in which you could spin
- 42:01Speaker 3: it and be like, I was trying to get on
- 42:02Speaker 3: the show.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:04Speaker 3: I had no intentions of ever doing anything. I just
- 42:06Speaker 3: wanted to be on the show.
- 42:08Speaker 1: You should be making a concurrent side documentary if you're
- 42:12Speaker 1: ever getting into behavior like that. So you have plausible denial. Yeah.
- 42:17Speaker 3: Road to ketchup predator.
- 42:19Speaker 2: My life as a fake pedophile.
- 42:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:22Speaker 1: Catching to catch a predator.
- 42:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Like seeing if we could catch them.
- 42:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Poking, finding the flaws.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:29Speaker 3: Does he, has he talked about like the, the kind
- 42:33Speaker 3: of like fan to catch a predators that have all
- 42:35Speaker 3: spawned from.
- 42:37Speaker 2: Those ones are crazy.
- 42:38Speaker 3: Yeah. Cause those ones I feel like are probably like, I'm.
- 42:40Speaker 2: Just meeting people in a target food court and beating
- 42:43Speaker 2: the shit out of them in the fucking screwdriver. Yeah.
- 42:45Speaker 3: Like, do you think those are like, is that a
- 42:47Speaker 3: good thing or is that a bad thing?
- 42:48Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 42:49Speaker 3: It's hard to judge.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Vigilante justice.
- 42:51Speaker 3: Vigilante justice, but it's vigilante justice strictly for social media views.
- 42:56Speaker 2: Yeah. And it's kind of pre-crimey.
- 42:58Speaker 3: I guess that's also what Chris Hansen was doing.
- 43:02Speaker 1: And once those people see how many social media views
- 43:04Speaker 1: it's getting, you're going to want to get on that.
- 43:06Speaker 3: Oh, that's pretty.
- 43:07Speaker 1: It's like going on Caleb Hammer. Yeah. Like, yeah, maybe
- 43:09Speaker 1: we'll go through it a little bit, but like you're
- 43:11Speaker 1: going to get a lot of publicity. Maybe you got
- 43:13Speaker 1: to zinger in. This is a lot. That pedophile is funny.
- 43:16Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 43:17Speaker 1: That pedophile is pretty clever.
- 43:19Speaker 3: Maybe we should get into that. As a podcast. We
- 43:22Speaker 3: just had that meeting with sales. We should tell them
- 43:24Speaker 3: we're going to have six pedophile hunting videos.
- 43:26Speaker 2: We're going to start a pedophile sting.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:30Speaker 3: Plan for around the fall, but probably it'll bleed into
- 43:32Speaker 3: the spring.
- 43:34Speaker 1: When's good for you guys? How can we package this?
- 43:39Speaker 3: I mean, I think that could really play.
- 43:41Speaker 1: I think it definitely would. I think they would eat
- 43:43Speaker 1: that up because if they don't buy it, why?
- 43:46Speaker 2: Why? Yeah.
- 43:47Speaker 1: What are you trying to hide?
- 43:48Speaker 3: You're trying to support pedophiles?
- 43:50Speaker 1: What are you not trying to put money behind?
- 43:51Speaker 2: What message are we putting out there?
- 43:53Speaker 3: Honestly, now that I think about it, every brand should
- 43:56Speaker 3: be behind those videos.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Yeah, probably sponsored by the grocery store.
- 44:01Speaker 3: You should have a shirt on that looks like you're
- 44:02Speaker 3: in NASCAR. It's covered with brands. Every brand is doing
- 44:08Speaker 3: what they can to get against the pedophiles.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Francis, I do think the creative writing side of you
- 44:15Speaker 1: and the method actor side of you will be a
- 44:17Speaker 1: great guy in the chat room who's luring the 42-year-old
- 44:23Speaker 1: trailer park guy.
- 44:24Speaker 2: Well, you know, because I moonlight as a OnlyFans typist.
- 44:31Speaker 2: I have about 15 women whose messages I do because
- 44:34Speaker 2: they're busy. And so I'm used to talking to really
- 44:38Speaker 2: thirsty dudes. It wouldn't be that much of a stretch
- 44:41Speaker 2: to just lower my age.
- 44:42Speaker 3: No, not at all.
- 44:43Speaker 2: From 21-year-old woman to... 14 year old boy.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Luring them on it is uh it's.
- 44:52Speaker 2: Funny to watch that show now because it's like the
- 44:54Speaker 2: the chats are so outdated oh yeah there's so many
- 44:59Speaker 2: like got to go brb like rly question mark emoji
- 45:06Speaker 2: what's rly really oh That should be your favorite.
- 45:10Speaker 3: I was thinking of raffle.
- 45:11Speaker 2: The word you say more than any other word.
- 45:13Speaker 3: I was thinking of rolling on floor laughing.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Oh, that's pretty good too.
- 45:15Speaker 3: That's a classic.
- 45:16Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 45:18Speaker 1: But that showed me that you don't have it anymore.
- 45:20Speaker 2: What?
- 45:21Speaker 1: If you didn't know what R-L-Y was, all of your
- 45:25Speaker 1: indigenous goodwill has been lost.
- 45:27Speaker 3: Just like that?
- 45:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:29Speaker 2: L-M-P-P-D-O.
- 45:31Speaker 3: Which one was that?
- 45:32Speaker 2: Laughing my prepubescent dick off. That's great.
- 45:39Speaker 3: Well, the problem is we would have to find a
- 45:40Speaker 3: boy that looks like he's 14. Because that's what Catch
- 45:43Speaker 3: a Predator did. They had a girl on site that
- 45:46Speaker 3: looked like she was underage.
- 45:47Speaker 1: But in the chat rooms, it's like you literally can
- 45:49Speaker 1: just be like, Lacey, 14, New Jersey.
- 45:52Speaker 3: Yeah, but then what happens when they're asking for nudes?
- 45:55Speaker 3: What are you going to send? A grown man's penis back?
- 46:00Speaker 3: They'll immediately know I'm being set up.
- 46:02Speaker 1: I'm being duped. Chris Hansen is famous for his dick pic.
- 46:05Speaker 3: Yeah. But isn't that actually what they did? They had, like,
- 46:11Speaker 3: that girl? Because it's the same girl every time.
- 46:13Speaker 2: Yeah, but they weren't sending the nudes.
- 46:15Speaker 3: Well, of course. But they were sending, like, photos of her.
- 46:17Speaker 2: Or maybe they had... Yeah, I see what you're saying.
- 46:22Speaker 3: Well, that girl would always be like, I'm just in
- 46:24Speaker 3: the back.
- 46:24Speaker 2: I'll come right out. I'm taking a shower.
- 46:26Speaker 3: Yeah, she would run quick.
- 46:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:28Speaker 3: She would be there upon arrival, and then immediately she
- 46:30Speaker 3: would go back to safety. Yeah, no shit.
- 46:31Speaker 1: What are you, like, calling her a coward?
- 46:33Speaker 3: Kind of, yeah. She was an actress, A.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:38Speaker 3: Commit to the role you think she didn't stay in
- 46:39Speaker 3: the pocket long enough i don't think she stayed in
- 46:42Speaker 3: the pocket nearly long enough every single one.
- 46:44Speaker 2: To catch a predator season three six episodes.
- 46:51Speaker 1: There were some episodes where she would like kind of
- 46:53Speaker 1: go around the kitchen island yeah.
- 46:56Speaker 3: She would kind of be like feeling it out they
- 46:58Speaker 3: would chase her yeah she'd be like you want some
- 47:00Speaker 3: cookies yeah.
- 47:01Speaker 1: I think that's staying in the pocket I don't think so.
- 47:04Speaker 1: I think there's some bait girls that were extraordinary method actors.
- 47:07Speaker 3: Because I don't think they really get enough for the
- 47:09Speaker 3: most part to get an actual case. How many of
- 47:12Speaker 3: these guys are actually getting locked up?
- 47:13Speaker 2: No, the second they arrive and the second they get
- 47:16Speaker 2: out of their car, they're cooked.
- 47:18Speaker 3: No, because they're just like, I'm just here to have pizza.
- 47:20Speaker 3: It's what I can't eat. I'm hungry.
- 47:22Speaker 1: You took your pants off, sir.
- 47:24Speaker 2: Sir, you showed up with condoms. There's no AC. And beer.
- 47:28Speaker 2: That's the thing. But even if they hadn't, it's like
- 47:31Speaker 2: the fact that they came. Some of them would always
- 47:32Speaker 2: be like, I came here to tell her she shouldn't
- 47:34Speaker 2: be doing this.
- 47:35Speaker 3: Yeah, which is smart. They're trying to save her.
- 47:38Speaker 1: These are these clever pedophiles we're talking about.
- 47:42Speaker 3: You shouldn't be here. You shouldn't be doing this. Because
- 47:45Speaker 3: not everyone's going to be cool like me.
- 47:46Speaker 2: In fact, where's your dad?
- 47:51Speaker 3: Let me talk to him.
- 47:52Speaker 2: Do you? Yeah.
- 47:53Speaker 1: Perfect.
- 47:54Speaker 2: Perfect.
- 47:55Speaker 3: There's a lot of bad pedophiles out there. Not like me, though.
- 48:00Speaker 1: You're lucky you ran into me.
- 48:02Speaker 2: It's hilarious.
- 48:03Speaker 3: I mean, you would think that a lot of these guys,
- 48:05Speaker 3: but didn't that kind of become a thing towards the
- 48:07Speaker 3: end where people were like recognizing like the girl or
- 48:12Speaker 3: like they knew it was going to be a setup
- 48:13Speaker 3: or some shit?
- 48:14Speaker 1: There's some guys who would stay in their car and stuff.
- 48:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:17Speaker 1: And they'd still like descend on them. Yeah, of course.
- 48:19Speaker 3: That's got to be, I mean, unreal. There's got to be.
- 48:22Speaker 3: They got to bring that show back in a way.
- 48:25Speaker 1: I think they are. Or doesn't he do it privately
- 48:27Speaker 1: or something?
- 48:28Speaker 3: I don't know. That would be much weirder.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Does it on Patreon? Yeah.
- 48:34Speaker 1: He doesn't know cameras. Why don't you take a seat?
- 48:37Speaker 3: It's just audio. It's a podcast now.
- 48:41Speaker 2: For 10 bucks, you can get the case of beer
- 48:43Speaker 2: the guy brought.
- 48:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know why people would be like, you're
- 48:48Speaker 1: attacking men at their lowest. Like, the crime of like,
- 48:52Speaker 1: exposing and shaming guys who are going through a tough time,
- 48:56Speaker 1: which is soliciting sex with minors, is a way lighter
- 49:01Speaker 1: thing than the potential of having sex with a kid.
- 49:06Speaker 1: That's the most damaging crime you could commit.
- 49:09Speaker 3: Also, I don't want to really get into the mind
- 49:11Speaker 3: of a pedophile here, but I would imagine that's probably
- 49:14Speaker 3: their highest like at that moment before chris hansen walks
- 49:18Speaker 3: in they're like this is the best moment of my life.
- 49:20Speaker 1: They're like i love dessert.
- 49:24Speaker 2: She's actually exactly as i thought she would.
- 49:26Speaker 3: Be yeah it's all going according to plan you're real
- 49:31Speaker 3: and i wasn't catfish yeah i don't think i think
- 49:35Speaker 3: that i don't know i just.
- 49:36Speaker 2: Thought you were gonna be like really overweight 12 year.
- 49:38Speaker 3: Old you're perfect yeah and then chris hansen walks in
- 49:42Speaker 3: and now you're at your lowest And it's probably a
- 49:46Speaker 3: pretty big low, but it was just a big high.
- 49:52Speaker 1: It just balances it out.
- 49:54Speaker 2: Oh, by the way, I think it's important I should update.
- 49:58Speaker 2: I will not be competing on the Olympic handball team
- 50:01Speaker 2: in 2020. Oh, it's a different team. No, that was
- 50:04Speaker 2: always the team.
- 50:05Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 50:06Speaker 3: What happened?
- 50:07Speaker 2: It turns out they're quite good. Fuck. And that the idea...
- 50:11Speaker 2: The idea... That someone with a media presence and following
- 50:17Speaker 2: could somehow just like walk onto the team under, like
- 50:21Speaker 2: through a back door.
- 50:22Speaker 1: Oh, they staged a mutiny.
- 50:24Speaker 2: Bro, there's like an entire Olympic meritocracy checking committee.
- 50:33Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 50:33Speaker 2: That ensures that there's no tomfoolery about who gets on
- 50:38Speaker 2: a team or like probably nepotism, any of that stuff.
- 50:42Speaker 1: There's probably like politicians, kids who have tried to buy
- 50:45Speaker 1: their way.
- 50:45Speaker 2: Yeah, they'll come and watch practices and be like, that
- 50:48Speaker 2: guy sucks. Is he related to the fucking coach? Get
- 50:51Speaker 2: him out of here.
- 50:52Speaker 3: Really? Yeah.
- 50:53Speaker 2: That's interesting. They'll literally check that. There's like a process
- 50:56Speaker 2: for that.
- 50:56Speaker 3: But what if you are actually just insanely good at it?
- 50:59Speaker 2: I think the people who were inviting me were under
- 51:02Speaker 2: the impression that I was an absolute freak, which I
- 51:05Speaker 2: was 15 years ago.
- 51:08Speaker 3: At handball?
- 51:08Speaker 2: Specifically sports. Oh, okay.
- 51:10Speaker 3: Okay.
- 51:11Speaker 2: But they were like excited about, they were like, you know,
- 51:14Speaker 2: you're a lacrosse player. That's the exact sort of like
- 51:17Speaker 2: skill set and, and body type that translates well to
- 51:21Speaker 2: this sport. In fact, when in lacrosse, we used to
- 51:24Speaker 2: train on Fridays, we would play and I was good
- 51:27Speaker 2: at it. Yeah. Yeah. It's fun. But like, um, I
- 51:30Speaker 2: was like, guys, I'm going to be 39 in 28.
- 51:33Speaker 1: Why are you talking like, who are you talking to?
- 51:37Speaker 3: Who is this person that's reaching out?
- 51:39Speaker 2: Big people.
- 51:40Speaker 3: Like the head of the Olympics?
- 51:41Speaker 2: Vladimir Putin.
- 51:42Speaker 3: Oh my God. And they told you, so you talked
- 51:47Speaker 3: to them again and they were like, you have no shot.
- 51:49Speaker 2: I was speaking to someone who was recruiting me and
- 51:52Speaker 2: then I was like this, and he wanted me to
- 51:55Speaker 2: come to this tryout over Labor Day. And I was like, well,
- 51:58Speaker 2: I was, it was a pretty fun event that I was.
- 52:01Speaker 3: Going to go to. Yeah, it's Labor Day.
- 52:02Speaker 2: Labor Day. Yeah. It's like, I'll come, but I better
- 52:05Speaker 2: be on the team.
- 52:07Speaker 3: And they said, don't come?
- 52:08Speaker 2: No, he was like, come. And then I was like,
- 52:11Speaker 2: can I talk? I need to speak to someone who
- 52:14Speaker 2: might be a little bit more. I just need a
- 52:16Speaker 2: better sense of how realistic this actually is. So then
- 52:20Speaker 2: I spoke to the CEO of USA Handball, who was
- 52:23Speaker 2: a great dude. And he said, it's not going to happen? No,
- 52:28Speaker 2: I was like, he was like, you know, we think
- 52:30Speaker 2: you have a good shot based on your kind of
- 52:32Speaker 2: credentials and like the way how athletic you are and
- 52:35Speaker 2: stuff like that. And I was like, okay. Be realistic
- 52:38Speaker 2: with me about the time commitment and the skill set
- 52:41Speaker 2: because I've been watching clips of this sport. First of all,
- 52:45Speaker 2: it's insanely physical. Yeah.
- 52:47Speaker 1: Can you play a little of it? We don't even
- 52:49Speaker 1: have to put it in. I just want to get
- 52:50Speaker 1: a context.
- 52:51Speaker 2: As long as you stay in front of a person,
- 52:53Speaker 2: you can fully like wrap them up.
- 52:55Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 52:56Speaker 2: It's not basketball. It's way, way more rough than basketball.
- 53:00Speaker 2: And I won't play basketball anymore because of the likelihood
- 53:04Speaker 2: of me getting injured.
- 53:05Speaker 3: I mean, this would be incredible. So they said pretty
- 53:08Speaker 3: much it's not going to happen. No, I was like,
- 53:12Speaker 3: I'm not going to make this team. We need to
- 53:15Speaker 3: be realistic about that. And they're saying you will make
- 53:17Speaker 3: this team.
- 53:18Speaker 2: They were like, well, we wouldn't say that. We thought
- 53:20Speaker 2: you had a good chance. But dude, I think like.
- 53:23Speaker 1: How fun are your Labor Day plans? Because they better
- 53:26Speaker 1: be pretty fun if you're giving up your Olympic dreams
- 53:30Speaker 1: for your Labor Day plans.
- 53:32Speaker 3: Those guys don't look that athletic.
- 53:35Speaker 1: Francis, you would dominate this.
- 53:36Speaker 3: What the hell are we talking about?
- 53:37Speaker 1: There's no bras.
- 53:39Speaker 3: These guys are fucking twigs.
- 53:41Speaker 2: Dude, they're huge.
- 53:42Speaker 3: And they're all like old.
- 53:44Speaker 1: None of these dudes are bigger than you.
- 53:46Speaker 2: They're 26.
- 53:47Speaker 3: None of these guys are bigger. All right.
- 53:48Speaker 2: Well, then let's just go to the time commitments part
- 53:51Speaker 2: of it. Oh, my God. That's free. The CEO guy
- 53:54Speaker 2: was like, what would it look like? And he's like, well,
- 53:58Speaker 2: in the year leading up to the Olympics, we would
- 54:00Speaker 2: probably want you to Go to Europe for three to
- 54:03Speaker 2: four week chunks to play on a club team so
- 54:06Speaker 2: that you are playing at the standard we need you
- 54:09Speaker 2: to get to in order to improve.
- 54:11Speaker 1: So you would get minutes. What about just having you
- 54:14Speaker 1: on the bench or something?
- 54:15Speaker 2: There's only 14 guys on the team. There's really not
- 54:18Speaker 2: that many spots. I think almost everybody on the team
- 54:21Speaker 2: has to be able to play.
- 54:23Speaker 3: What if you're a goalie? I wondered about that. Because
- 54:26Speaker 3: goalie looks pretty easy.
- 54:27Speaker 2: I'm not flexible enough. You need to be able to
- 54:29Speaker 2: kick over your head.
- 54:30Speaker 3: Yeah, that's tough.
- 54:31Speaker 2: Last time I did that, I split my tuxedo. So
- 54:34Speaker 2: you can do it. I didn't even come close.
- 54:38Speaker 3: I mean, I really think this is like, I'm not
- 54:40Speaker 3: convinced that you could not compete in this.
- 54:43Speaker 2: Who's calling me right now? Oh, dentists. Is that today? Oh, no. Oh,
- 54:51Speaker 2: I missed my appointment today. Oh, no. I'm such an idiot.
- 54:54Speaker 2: I knew there was something I had to do today.
- 54:56Speaker 1: That goalie can kick pretty high. He's also fat as fuck.
- 55:00Speaker 3: They're fat and they're all like balding.
- 55:02Speaker 2: They don't even have a fucking cancellation policy. That's gone.
- 55:06Speaker 1: It's like a Drewski skit, the goalie. He's like a fat,
- 55:09Speaker 1: like fucking flexible guy.
- 55:12Speaker 3: I still think you could easily make this team. Guys,
- 55:15Speaker 3: it's going to suck when we all travel to Europe
- 55:17Speaker 3: for three weeks at a time, though.
- 55:19Speaker 2: These guys are freaks.
- 55:21Speaker 1: This is literally the attack-defend game that they have in
- 55:24Speaker 1: Surviving Barstool.
- 55:25Speaker 3: Yeah, this is gym class.
- 55:26Speaker 2: That's what everyone says.
- 55:27Speaker 3: You could easily do this.
- 55:28Speaker 2: You're totally underestimating how in shape and athletic and strong
- 55:32Speaker 2: these guys are.
- 55:33Speaker 3: Also, I hate to break it to you, but the
- 55:35Speaker 3: red team is winning by almost 10 points. So it
- 55:38Speaker 3: seems like they probably just win everything.
- 55:40Speaker 2: Denmark is the best.
- 55:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:41Speaker 2: They are the best.
- 55:43Speaker 3: You don't really have to be that good. Unless, are
- 55:45Speaker 3: they trying to make USA beat Denmark?
- 55:48Speaker 2: They're trying to get them to compete better. We only
- 55:51Speaker 2: qualify for this sport in the Olympics when we host
- 55:54Speaker 2: the Olympics and we get the automatic qualifier.
- 55:57Speaker 3: Interesting. It seems like.
- 55:59Speaker 2: And we get run out of the gym.
- 56:01Speaker 3: This is an extremely high scoring game.
- 56:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it is. It's not that hard to score, I
- 56:06Speaker 2: don't think. But I asked them, I was like, listen,
- 56:09Speaker 2: I'm going to be 39. Surely, you'll be able to
- 56:11Speaker 2: get like 123 year old recent division one lacrosse volleyball
- 56:26Speaker 2: fucking basketball guys who are the same pedigree that i
- 56:32Speaker 2: am but but 15 years younger and in way better
- 56:35Speaker 2: shape to try out and he's like you would think
- 56:38Speaker 2: that but for some reason we have not been able
- 56:40Speaker 2: to convince these people which is why we wanted someone
- 56:42Speaker 2: like you to come bring awareness and i was like
- 56:44Speaker 2: well then if i do that i'm opening the doors
- 56:48Speaker 2: to being unseated by the very people I'm supposed to
- 56:51Speaker 2: be attracting, which means it would not be in my
- 56:54Speaker 2: interest to broadcast how possible it is to play this
- 56:58Speaker 2: sport in the Olympics.
- 56:59Speaker 3: Well, tell them to reach out to me. I'm, I'm interested.
- 57:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:02Speaker 1: You're more of the age demographic.
- 57:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:05Speaker 3: And like you're, I could get up, I could get
- 57:06Speaker 3: to tip top shape by, uh, the Olympics.
- 57:09Speaker 2: 2028. Yeah. It's two years.
- 57:11Speaker 3: That's easy.
- 57:11Speaker 2: The truth is, is that the time commitment was, was
- 57:14Speaker 2: too much to reconcile with, um, With boy dad, which
- 57:19Speaker 2: is the priority in my life.
- 57:20Speaker 1: We would come there. Do not use us as an excuse.
- 57:22Speaker 1: I'm not going to be the reason that you don't
- 57:24Speaker 1: achieve your dreams.
- 57:25Speaker 3: We'll get a little pad out in Europe.
- 57:28Speaker 2: I got off that call and I was supposed to
- 57:30Speaker 2: go to the gym for my second workout of the day.
- 57:33Speaker 2: Went straight to the snack closet. Then I went and
- 57:36Speaker 2: ate pasta for dinner and I was like, thank God.
- 57:39Speaker 3: Yeah. I don't have to be that guy anymore.
- 57:42Speaker 2: I did that twice and it was too much.
- 57:47Speaker 3: Trained for two weeks for the Olympics.
- 57:49Speaker 1: I would love to know the ages of the guys
- 57:51Speaker 1: on this team. There's got to be someone who's 40.
- 57:53Speaker 3: 45. 45.
- 57:53Speaker 1: No, I don't think so.
- 57:55Speaker 2: Just having a blast out there.
- 57:57Speaker 1: But doesn't that also make you wish you were born
- 57:59Speaker 1: in like Denmark, Francis?
- 58:01Speaker 2: Oh, I've always wished that for a number of reasons.
- 58:04Speaker 3: If you lived in Denmark, do you think you would
- 58:06Speaker 3: be on this team right now?
- 58:09Speaker 2: Maybe. Maybe. What else are they really good at?
- 58:13Speaker 3: I mean, this would be unreal if you were in this.
- 58:15Speaker 2: I was very excited about the prospect of being in
- 58:19Speaker 2: the Olympic Village and having like threesomes with Latvian pollinators.
- 58:22Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly. That's where you would be creating your super child.
- 58:25Speaker 2: Czechoslovakian shot.
- 58:28Speaker 1: And now you have to adopt.
- 58:29Speaker 2: Yeah. And meeting my wife there.
- 58:31Speaker 1: Now you're adopting from Pueblo.
- 58:32Speaker 2: Yeah. Now I got nobody.
- 58:34Speaker 1: From Tijuana.
- 58:35Speaker 3: What about the Winter Olympics? You get in on that
- 58:38Speaker 3: at all or no?
- 58:39Speaker 2: I think the belief there is always bobsled. But I
- 58:43Speaker 2: don't know how far I got to go to find
- 58:45Speaker 2: one of those.
- 58:46Speaker 1: Denmark has badminton.
- 58:47Speaker 3: Lake Placid has bobsled.
- 58:49Speaker 2: Do they? Yeah.
- 58:50Speaker 3: That's where they train.
- 58:52Speaker 2: Yeah. You might be right.
- 58:53Speaker 3: I've done the bobsled in Lake Placid.
- 58:56Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's old school bobsled.
- 58:58Speaker 3: No, they got everything. They got a whole training facility.
- 59:00Speaker 3: They got the high. They got the skiing jump thing. Hmm.
- 59:04Speaker 1: Maybe ski jumping, Francis.
- 59:05Speaker 2: No, that's insane. I'm not gonna do that fucking insane
- 59:08Speaker 2: i'm a father now i have to consider my family
- 59:14Speaker 2: and what i'm putting him.
- 59:16Speaker 3: Through yeah you don't want your kid oh it's gonna
- 59:18Speaker 3: be a boy you just announced that he's a boy
- 59:21Speaker 3: you don't want to have to watch your kid to
- 59:23Speaker 3: have to watch you sailing through the air For three
- 59:26Speaker 3: minutes straight. Those people are in the air for so long.
- 59:29Speaker 3: It's fucking insane. Yeah. And you got to do the
- 59:33Speaker 3: shit with the.
- 59:33Speaker 2: Yeah, the squirrel. Flying squirrel.
- 59:36Speaker 1: It's like watching your security guard get beat up. Yeah.
- 59:39Speaker 3: Again, just so brutal.
- 59:41Speaker 1: It's a very tense circumstance.
- 59:43Speaker 3: I would not have uploaded the video personally if I
- 59:46Speaker 3: had the video.
- 59:47Speaker 2: Of what?
- 59:48Speaker 3: Of Danny getting dragged through the lobby.
- 59:51Speaker 2: Oh, are you talking about that again?
- 59:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:53Speaker 2: Did you guys bring it back there?
- 59:54Speaker 3: We just brought it back in.
- 59:55Speaker 2: I was thinking about this dentist appointment and how I
- 59:57Speaker 2: missed it. Oh, yeah. I was trying to think about
- 59:58Speaker 2: why I missed it.
- 59:59Speaker 3: You know, that's, you know, they give you cavities, extra
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: cavities now.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: You're going to need a silver capped filler.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: Yeah. Like the guy from fucking Home Alone. Yeah. Maybe
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: it was gold. Yeah.
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: I love missing an appointment. Ugh.
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: I don't. They're going to charge me for it.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: They charge you for it?
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: I suspect so.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: Just change your card. Cancel your card. Yeah.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Change your identity. Leave the state.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: I book like a hundred dentist appointments a week and
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: then I just don't show up to any of them.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: You're ding dong ditching dentists?
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: Every week. Cool, man. What a fun prank that is.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: Just to make it seem like I'm super busy when
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: I get all the calls.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: That's your meetings as dentist appointments?
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: Who the fuck is calling me again?
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: It's the fucking dentist. I'll be in next week. August
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: is the perfect time to hit reset before the autumn
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: rush begins. And honestly, I can't think of a better
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: place to start than my closet. And that's why I
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: love shopping at Quince. Quince is all about fewer, better pieces.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Their clothes are made with premium materials built to last
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: and designed to become the ones that you reach for
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: day after day. Last year, right before the fall, I
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: bought a sweater with quints and I wore it to everything.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: I wore it on episodes of this show. I wore
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: it on the weekends. I even have pictures of myself
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: wearing it as my kids were in the Christmas pageant
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: at our local parish. It is something that I made
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: memories in and it's something that I'm going to keep
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: on wearing this year because you're not buying something that's
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: a flip and dip fast fashion that you're going to
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: get rid of immediately. You are buying a piece that
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: is going to become a staple in your wardrobe. And
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: that's why everything from Quince works a little bit harder.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Those everyday staples, they have Mongolian cashmere sweaters. I'm not
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: sure if this was Mongolian cashmere, but it's just a
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: beautiful sweater because there's versatile, timeless. You can really transition
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: seamlessly from a casual workday into a beautiful dinner out.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: So make sure you're messing with Quince. Upgrade your everyday.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: Download the Quince app for app-exclusive offers or go to quince.com
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: slash boydad. Free shipping on your order. 365-day returns now
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: available in Canada and the UK too. That's q-u-i-n-c-e dot
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: com slash boydad.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: Steady as hell i.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: Am unbearably hot right yeah it's on that's enough i
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: have a sweat layer on my mustache.
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: Well it's probably good for the sickness that we all
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: have sweating it all out a little.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Bit yeah it's nice to sweat it out.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: Getting the toxins out the hand foot mouth.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: If i'm if i'm ever getting this shit beat out
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: of me can you guys promise that you're just not
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: gonna film it.
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: Yeah don't film it and honestly like.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: Please don't film me. Please don't, Francis, please don't film
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: me getting beat up if I ever do.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: No, I wouldn't do that. I would like to say
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: that I'll come and help you, but it depends on
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: what I'm wearing.
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: Yeah. And how many people are already helping.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: But here's the good news. I'm actually raising a mixed
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: martial artist.
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: Oh, wow. So he'll be white and Latino martial artists. Yeah.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: It will be good to have like just another, uh,
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: Another bro around the house.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: Another guy.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: Why not twins? Why are you aiming for Earth when
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: you could shoot for the moon?
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: Well, that's a good question.
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: Three is a crowd. Yeah.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: The eight sleep only has two cooling zones. So it's
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: me and one kid who gets to choose his temperature
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: and then that's it.
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: Because two kids, it's like Why are you guys always here?
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: Get out.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: Get out and do something.
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: Go do something.
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: Move around.
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: Go play.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: The other part of it is that they can play
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: with each other. True.
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: They do keep each other busy. I think the key
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: is when you have kids in New York, you got
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: to let them go early. Once they hit four, it's
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: like start learning how to take the train.
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: Get on the subway.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Start smoking.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: Quit smoking. Quit smoking. You think if you grew up
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: in New York, you'd be like fucked up?
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: I think that that's so overstated.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: I agree with that.
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: I agree with what Ron's saying.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I think people act like it's like, oh my God.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: People think it's the movie kids, that you're outside smoking
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: crack and getting AIDS if you're a kid growing up
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: in New York.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: I think it is.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: Everybody that's a kid growing up in New York is
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: pretty well-adjusted and calm.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: They're on drugs.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: Who's an example of a crazy person that grew up
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: in New York?
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: Derek Drescher, my good friend. He grew up in New York.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Yeah, but he grew up in the crack 80s.
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: He got arrested, I think, what, 29 times, he said?
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: Do you know where else they're doing drugs? Maine. Pennsylvania.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: The suburbs of Pennsylvania.
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: That's not until you get hurt at work and then
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: they prescribe you Vicodin.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: That's where the opioid epidemic was one of the ground
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: zeros of it. Probably ground one.
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: Well, no, I think that was West Virginia.
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: I know, that's what I'm saying. Ground zero was West Virginia.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: Ground one was Maine.
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: Yeah, because you guys, like, fucking senator or some shit
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: the lumberjacks were all having back pain and then they
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: were prescribing it up there yeah but didn't you guys
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: also had like a politician that was like then uh
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: who like made it all super legal or attainable senator
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: sackler yeah and then he moved then he quit his
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: politics job and got hired by the sacklers oh and
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: was like on the top of their board.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Well you know the sackler family owns the amman and
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: turks and cacos when you're on yara When you're in
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: that island oasis paradise sipping on the best pina colada
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: you've ever had, think about it.
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: Damn.
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: That's crazy. They throw a little couple oxys in there. Yeah.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Why is this so good?
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: Yeah. A couple oxy-80s.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: I feel no pain. I feel incredible.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: The pool is chlorinated with powder.
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: Did you guys ever watch Dope Sick?
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: Time release. Yeah. So good.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: It's really good.
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: One of the best shows I've ever seen. Did you
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: ever watch the Netflix one, Painkiller?
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: No.
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: That one's kind of mid.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: I'm trying to decide which new show that I'm going
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: to watch. There's three out that I've heard rave reviews about.
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: Do tell, do tell.
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: The one that's in the horror comedy out of New England.
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: Is that Widow Bay?
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: You watched that?
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: No, I didn't watch it. Tyler said he watched it.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: I heard it's great.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: Legends, Lanterns, and Furious I've heard good things about.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: Let's skip all three of those. I heard Furious is
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: pretty good. I also just recently heard that season three
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: of True Detective was excellent. Oh.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: I'm all set.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: Season three.
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: I heard it was terrible.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: Let me guess. They could barely catch the guy and
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: then they catch the guy.
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: Am I close? I heard it was like, I heard
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: it was not good.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: Season one of that show, Beef, was really good. I
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: saw there's a season two with the whole cast.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: I watched season two. I thought season two was great.
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: Season two was way better than season one.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: I didn't see season two yet.
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: You should watch season two. That's your next show.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Beef is?
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: Whoa. Season two is really good.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: Season one was pretty good, too.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: Yeah, it was.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: Yeah, it was.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Well, you're you have you. We need to stop Asian
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: hate with you.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Anti Asian streak in you that colors everything you see.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Not true.
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: But I'm going to get along with my son.
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: I'm just saying season one is good. Season two is phenomenal.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: And is the cast the same?
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: No, no.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: Because they're not what anymore?
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: Asian. Exactly. Except are they? Who? Oh.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: I think the guy who's the fitness guy, who's the
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: best character in the whole show, has some Korean descent.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: The show's created by Koreans.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: Koreans. Koreans made the show. So you probably won't like
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: it because you hate Asian people.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: Don't say that. You're going to get me in a
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: lot of trouble with the Asian people.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: Yeah, because it's true.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: None of my backers.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: Because it's true.
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: Unlike me.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: I'm bought and paid for by the Asian lobby.
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: Unlike me. I love all races equally.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: That's not true.
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: Yes, it is.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: You were saying nasty things about that guy who came
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: into our office yesterday and was fighting.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: What?
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: I was the one that was like, get off of him.
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: Let him be. This guy's got a family to go
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: home to.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: And he's like, no, I don't.
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: It would have been unreal if you went in there
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: and just started swinging on other barstool employees. It's just
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: a full mosh pit in there. That's 10 dudes fighting.
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: I don't know what happened. Danny was fighting the Uber guy.
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: I can't tell who was the driver.
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: I actually thought it was Big Ev under that helmet.
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: Imagine if like– what do you think would have happened
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: if another Uber Eats guy showed up when that was happening?
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: It's very likely that that would have happened.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: You know that they are obligated. It's like the samurai code.
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: You have to get in that.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Yeah, they have to. If all the elevator doors open
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: like it was the Matrix, Uber Eats guys walk up.
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: Round two. Yeah, you just get into a harder level
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: after you defeat them every time. Door opens, there's dogs.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: There's Barstool employees rushing in and more Uber Eats guys
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: coming up the elevators.
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: I think they got to redo that at Rough and Rowdy.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: Yeah, Barstool.
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: Get Danny back in the ring versus that guy.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: Come on, bro. But Danny wears a helmet this time.
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: And shin guards. Yeah.
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, clear on advantage. If I'm Danny, that's
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: what I'm pointing out immediately.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: Bad on advantage. On advantage.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: Yeah. On advantage? Is that what I said?
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: It's like a grading misuse.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: I'm not all there right now. I'm in space. Clear
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: on advantage. Disadvantage? It's a clear disadvantage.
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: There you go.
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: We'll cut that in.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: What are you doing this weekend, Francis, brother?
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: What's this weekend? Oh, I'm going to.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: I'm going to Monterey, California for a DraftKings event.
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: Very nice. Are you going to be golfing out there?
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: I think hosting a golf event.
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: Oh, very fun. Are you into that kind of thing, hosting?
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: I mean, I'm just going to be like shaking hands
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: and kissing babies and stuff.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: You thrive at that. You're going to put on an
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: absolute 10 out of 10 masterclass. What's going to be
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: your drink of choice? Maybe a picante margarita?
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: Um i don't know i try not to drink too
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: much at uh work events okay anyways well look because
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: i don't know i don't want to come home i
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: have to take the red eye home to do son
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: of a boy dad oh yeah you don't want to
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: do that i'm taking the red eye.
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: You don't want to get all shit faced for that.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: Yeah exactly it's gonna be tough.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: No but that red eye you get shit face on
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: the red.
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: Eye no it's such a bad idea very bad it's
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: such a bad idea Where did we take a red
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: eye home from?
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: Did we?
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: No, me and Roan.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: Was it from when we shot Neighborhood Eats in LA?
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: And we got Bloody Marys at that place. I remember
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: I was housing the Bloody Marys because I was so
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: nervous for the flight.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: You said your ears were ringing because they were so salty.
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: It was the worst I've ever felt on a plane.
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: I was like, this is going to be great. I'm
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: just going to have a bunch of Bloody Marys and
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: then just pass out as soon as we get on
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: the flight.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: Were we at the beach in.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: Venice Beach. You were drinking like Micheladas or some shit.
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: Some shit. But then we got to the airport. I
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: remember I sat down at the bar next to the
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: gate and I drank as many Bloody Marys as I
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: could in that amount of time. And then I got
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: on the flight thinking I was just going to pass out.
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: This was also the flight that really sparked my outrage
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: of the first class list because Rome was first class
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: and me and Tommy were like 48F. It was the
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: biggest fucking plane and we were the last row of
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: the entire thing. I remember I texted- I texted Roan
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: when we got off and I was like, did you leave?
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: And he was like, I'm already home.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: By the time he got off of the plane, I
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: had fully Ubered back to Brooklyn.
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: Yeah. But I remember getting on the plane and then
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: being like, I'm not there yet to sleep.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: Oh, you're not going to pass out?
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: I'm not going to pass out. So I had another
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: brew and then I just didn't sleep, just stayed up.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: Getting sober. Yeah. Just hung over.
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: Hung over on the flight.
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: That sucks. Yeah.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: That's so brutal. I just booked a flight last night to,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: I used a global upgrade for a flight to London.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: Ooh. Well played.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: For Eagles.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: For the Eagles game.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: I used my flight upgrade for that too. Can't wait.
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: We should fucking. You don't have global upgrades.
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: I don't.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: You have national.
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: Only regional.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: Regional upgrades.
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: I only have regional upgrades.
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: You can find those at fucking Kmart.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: On the ground.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: Buy this box of protein bars and get a global upgrade.
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: Or premium. Regional. Jesus.
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: I was flying a couple weeks ago. And I saw
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: somebody with a platinum bag tag. I wouldn't put that
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: on my bag if you paid me to.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going to have your bag coming off last.
- 1:13:36Speaker 3: Yeah. They beat the shit out of your bag if
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: they see that. Do they just give out– do they
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: get– because I've never gotten a bag tag ever.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: It's probably going to the Fugazi address that you give them.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: True.
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: It's probably going to my parents' apartment.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Your parents' house.
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: It is– I've been getting packages delivered to my old
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: apartment and I don't know what they even are. But
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: I keep getting notifications being like, your package was delivered.
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: And then I look and it was brought to West Village.
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: And I'm like.
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: The West Village.
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: Is that some sort of subscription?
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know what it would be.
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: But it's like a multiple package coming from, packages coming
- 1:14:18Speaker 3: from North Carolina.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Where are you traveling this fall?
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: Well, I'm going to Tokyo.
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: Oh.
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: Four days.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: Yeah. That's going to be fun. So that's in September though.
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: End of September. Yeah.
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: Right at the beginning of the fall. Right at the
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: beginning of football season.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: Right at the beginning of the fall.
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: Right at the beginning of the fall. That's right at
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: the beginning of football season though. You're not worried about
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: that with the time difference? Going to miss your sweet,
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: sweet Giants play?
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: I am not worried about it.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: I bet that there's like a bar in Tokyo where
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: you could go watch the Giants play.
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: You think?
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: For sure.
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: No shot.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: It's like a cheesesteak place where everybody gathers for the
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: Eagles games.
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: In Tokyo?
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: Yeah. There's a famous guy who's perfected the cheesesteak out there.
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: He comes to Philly and studies the cheesesteak.
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: Wagyu cheesesteak?
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: Probably.
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: That would be fire.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: They've perfected perfection out there.
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: That would actually be pretty bad. You'd get two bites
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: in and you'd be full.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: No.
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: That's wrong.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: You have a misconception of what Wagyu is.
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: I think you do.
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: No, I've had it multiple times.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: But you have the memory of a goldfish.
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: No, I don't. I don't. You do. Don't forget that.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: You have the memory of a goldfish. Well, if I did,
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: how would I remember that you said that?
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: Because I said it less than 24 hours ago.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: I have a much bigger fish memory.
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: I think the goldfish, I think it takes a full
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: 24 to reset.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: It's like three seconds.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: No.
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: Wrong.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: So you're going to Tokyo?
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: And what's your flight situation there? That's what we're all
- 1:15:46Speaker 3: looking to know.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: I mean, this is why, even though we joke about
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: me wanting to be friends with you, these are my
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: actual friends. Who? This guy that I'm going with, my buddy.
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: Oh, nice.
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: Because he wanted to experience Japan Air's business class.
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: That's why he's going.
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: I said, I don't have any sort of credits or
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: points that I could really apply to that. I kind
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: of need to fly Delta to take advantage of my
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: ability to make this affordable. And he goes, I'll just
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: get your flight there. Wow.
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: So you're flying Japan Air business class.
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: On the way there.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Which is a house. It's like the house from Up.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: You literally have an entire cabin to yourself and it
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: just floats across the ocean.
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: Yeah. There's a geisha that comes on and tucks you in,
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: kisses your cheek.
- 1:16:44Speaker 3: That's pretty nice.
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: Then on the way back, I'm flying to Delta and
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: I used... You're flying to Delta? I'm flying Delta back.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Come on, bro.
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: Lock in.
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: I'm doing... I used all this flight credit I had
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: that was going to expire. And then I used a
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: global upgrade certificate. So I have business. I have Delta 1,
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: but I got to go through Detroit.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: But there's no direct... You'd have to go to Detroit
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: or Minneapolis.
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: There's no directs on Delta.
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: Are you first on Detroit?
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: On the way there, it's direct from Newark.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: To Tokyo. Oh, wow. That's crazy. On Japan Air. Yeah.
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: What if you flew like another airliner and you want
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: to go Delta?
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: You got to go Delta?
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: Did you miss the whole part of like.
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: You got to go Delta?
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: The guy buying us.
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: Because I have points and miles for other airlines. I'm
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: not just a one airline guy like you guys.
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: You have very few. You have tiny little piles of
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: nonsensical currency. Mountains.
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: I got mountains.
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: It's like some guy who's got like a piggy bank
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: with some fucking, you know.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: Some yen.
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: Some croners. And some croners and some fucking pesos. And
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: you're like, look how much money I have.
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: I finally accessed my MX points. I'm buying a home
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: with them. In Japan. You can stay at my place
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: when you're out there.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: There are good deals on homes in Japan.
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: I shall not.
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: But they're like triangular and like two and a half
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: feet wide at their widest.
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:18:11Speaker 3: They're built for small people, not like me.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: Fred, can I make a request, please? Would you do
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: like the way you did your travel vlog or a
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: travel episode from Japan?
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, I could probably do that.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: Just talk about what it's like while you're out there
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: for an hour while it's super fresh. I think you're
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: going to have so many interesting observations and things that
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: you did.
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: I'd much rather prefer you to do a podcast on
- 1:18:39Speaker 3: the flights in the business class.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: They probably have a studio in there.
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: On Japan Air.
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: They may have one. That'd be huge.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: You'd probably have to reserve it from the bathroom. An
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: apartment and a studio apartment there. But I don't want
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: to be putting work on your plate, but I thought
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: the last one was so interesting. And I feel like
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: you doing one from out there, I'm just excited for
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: your experience.
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: Yeah. My only drawback is that I obviously love to
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: discuss this kind of stuff with you guys. So... burning
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: all of that before we get to kind of chop
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: it up.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: That's true.
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: That's true. But I mean, I'm always down to do
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: supplemental material.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: I just thought... Now that.
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: I'm not an Olympian anymore.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: Maybe you should join their team. I guarantee you're going
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: to go out there and be like, I'm Japanese. And
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: you could be a native handball player.
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: Oh, there it is.
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: There it is.
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: That came out of nowhere.
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: And now we're all sick.
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: And now we've all got it.
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: I can see that. Yep.
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: Snaking into everyone's nostrils. I was hand-flipping now, followed once.
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: it all came out that's.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: Like the fine mist when someone gets a headshot when
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: they're executed by firing.
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: Squad um when you sit on on japan air business
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: class will you have your will you have like a
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: door um because i i when i flew jet blue
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: mint i had a i had a wall.
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: Yeah that's nice it was crazy i i would assume
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: so of course you'll have a.
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: Door I hate when the flight attendants are peeking over though.
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: They, well.
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: And it's like, I wish I had a roof as well,
- 1:20:10Speaker 3: to be honest. I've flown on the.
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: Q suites on, on, on Qatar airways, which routinely get
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: ranked as the best business class in the world. Yeah.
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: And those had a door.
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: We call that first class washing.
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: Huh? Oh, cause yeah. Nice. Nice one. I like that.
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: That's fine. Oh man. That was a good one. That's good.
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: That is pretty solid.
- 1:20:34Speaker 3: You know what I think they really got to add
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: next to airplanes? HDMI port.
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: I would like that.
- 1:20:41Speaker 3: I think that would be game changer.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: That would be really nice.
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: Plug your laptop in, maybe play some games. I think
- 1:20:48Speaker 3: we also need 144 hertz monitors.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: The size is right, though. You are basically flying through
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: the air in a gamer chair.
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: The size is not bad. The size I'll take, but
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: we need a higher refresh rate.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: The size, the proximity to the screen.
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: That is all built for, first class is built for gamers.
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: It is. So why not connect the HDMI? Why can't
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: we have an HDMI? Plug the PlayStation in?
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: The bush. I feel like the bush and the air.
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: Oh.
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: Just getting on a shitty flight. It doesn't matter where
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: it's going, but just as long as you have Mint.
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: Or Delta One. What are you planning on doing out there?
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: Do you have any really specific plans?
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: Well.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: Are you going to go see a geisha? Are you
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: going to stay in an onsen? Maybe see some kabuki theater?
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: Whoa. What's all that?
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: I think an onsen is like the.
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: I know those are spas, right?
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: Yeah, you could just... You have to go bathe ass
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: naked with people.
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: That's fine. I want people to see me.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: Mogging some Japanese businessmen. And then the geishas, those are
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: the old ladies. And then kabuki theater, I think, is
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: when it's... Japanese trans people, just dudes dressing up as girls.
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: Oh, cool.
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: That'd be cool. You should go see that.
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: Um, I kind of, all right.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: And then Ennis Cantor is also going to be there
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: doing it. Oh, hell yeah.
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: I want to go. I mean, the, the, the major
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: focus is, is restaurants. And I will say it seems
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: incredibly difficult to get reservations at the places we want
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: to go. If anyone out there has any ability or
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: sense of how to get to some of these like
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: really high rated is a Kaya places or sushi Saito
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: or places like that. Um, please message me because I'm
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: kind of coming up short. We are going to one
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: really cool, um, sake tasting place called 12. That is
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: like invite only. We managed to get through, get to that.
- 1:22:43Speaker 3: How'd you get the invite?
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: Uh, I messaged them and then the guys like assistant
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: sent me the form and to invite us.
- 1:22:51Speaker 3: You should hit him up and be like how can
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: i get into these other restaurants well they've.
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: Already done enough i don't want to kind of over ask.
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: Chef donnie chef donnie has a buddy in kyoto that
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: has a plug for everything.
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: Cool but is that just kyoto or kyoto from my
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: understanding are.
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: You going to go to kyoto oh perhaps on.
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: Your day off yeah very nice shout out don't worry
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: about it he's giving a little phoebe bridger's love Have
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: you ever listened to that song, Day Off in Kyoto?
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: Uh-uh.
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: Oh, you'd love it. Listen to that on the plane
- 1:23:24Speaker 3: when you're landing. Right when you're touching down, throw it on.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: There's a place in Tokyo called Ukaitoriyama. Ukaitoriyama. About 50
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: minutes away from the city center.
- 1:23:37Speaker 3: 50?
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: About 5-0, but it's very worthwhile.
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: Fuck that.
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: What is it? Fitty?
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: Ukaitoriyama.
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: Are you out of your mind? In Japan? In Japan?
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: 50 minutes in Japan is not that bad, door to door.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: And it's on the side of a mountain. It's not
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: like you're just going to some rinky-dink place.
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: What is it?
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: It's a transcendent eating experience.
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: Oh, cool.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: That blends modern meats with traditional Japanese cuisine. Coursed out.
- 1:24:03Speaker 3: Modern meats? What is a modern meat?
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: Beef.
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: I've only been eating that forever?
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: No, bro. Not the way that they're doing it. I'm talking,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: they'll serve you beef over a fire, and then they'll
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: also serve you like a river fish that you have
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: to bite the head off of.
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: Oh, hmm.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: Not actually.
- 1:24:21Speaker 3: You're going to love it.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: You're going to love it.
- 1:24:23Speaker 3: It's a deep fry.
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: Surf and barf.
- 1:24:28Speaker 3: Yeah, so we're going to skip that one, but it's
- 1:24:30Speaker 3: for the rec. You're not going to.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: Go to Ukaitoriyama?
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: I mean, I'm always open to whatever. You've been. I'd
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: love for you to give me the three best things
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: that you've done.
- 1:24:39Speaker 3: Haven't you been, too?
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: No. To Japan?
- 1:24:41Speaker 3: Never. I thought you went last year.
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: I talk about it nonstop.
- 1:24:45Speaker 3: I swear you went last year. Are you fucking with me?
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: Here's my top recommendations. Katsudon Yoizuicho, which was very, very
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: nice food. But you just line up for that. Uka Toriyama,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: life-changing meal I have written next to it.
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: I found it on like the fat travel Reddit or
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: something like that.
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: Okay, cool.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: It's very, the not suspicious bar in Senshijo Temple.
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: You're getting your acts from Redditors? How does that feel?
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: This isn't, you're not listening to the right guy. Bro.
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: Do two trips to Japan. One where you don't go
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: to Uka Toriyama and one where you do go to
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: Uka Toriyama. And you see which one is a more
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: fulfilling experience.
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: I will do the ancient meat trip and the modern
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: meat trip.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: You have to have the river fish with the head bitten. Yeah,
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: of course.
- 1:25:35Speaker 3: It's probably just like a trout. It's a rainbow trout.
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: Modern meat.
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: It's this big.
- 1:25:41Speaker 3: I got to get out to the modern meats. This
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: is called ground beef.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: Chicken and steak. And then traditional. I mean, even on
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: the plane, they'll probably give you the option of Japanese
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: breakfast or American breakfast. You've got to get the Japanese.
- 1:25:56Speaker 3: I would go American because it's going to be your
- 1:25:58Speaker 3: last American meal.
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: I love Japanese. What are you talking about?
- 1:26:05Speaker 3: I would definitely go American.
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: Stay safe.
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: You don't want to roll the dice on a plain meal.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: You're going to Japan to have a Delta American scrambled eggs?
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: Certainly, I am not.
- 1:26:16Speaker 3: What's the Japanese breakfast?
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: It's like, it's textures.
- 1:26:19Speaker 3: Modern egg.
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: It's like squares and textures and goos that you've never
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: fucking tasted.
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: That sounds like hell on earth. Why would you want
- 1:26:29Speaker 3: that when you could just have eggs and sausage or
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: some shit?
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: Because he's going to Japan. You got to try new things.
- 1:26:33Speaker 3: But you're going to get the good food. You're going
- 1:26:35Speaker 3: to start the trip off with the worst Japanese food
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: you could possibly get.
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: But that's the perfect time. Harry, you're thinking, you're not
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: thinking about how this is Japan air.
- 1:26:45Speaker 3: It doesn't matter. It's still the space. You're still eating
- 1:26:47Speaker 3: space food.
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no, no. They have a proper
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: sushi chef on the plane making sushi for you.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: Modern meats.
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: Modern sushi.
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: You catch the fish by dropping a line into the
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: ocean as you're flying.
- 1:27:02Speaker 3: As you're flying.
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: It's a drag net across the Pacific. 35,000 foot line.
- 1:27:04Speaker 3: That's pretty nice. Will it be cold when you go
- 1:27:07Speaker 3: or will it be warm?
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: I suspect it will be quite temperate. It's the end
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: of September, early October. What better time to visit?
- 1:27:14Speaker 3: Well, I don't know how the seasons work there. I
- 1:27:16Speaker 3: was going to ask if you're.
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: Going to ski. It's just going to.
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: Be cooling down. It'll be great. I'm not going to
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: bring any of my nice clothes because I'm going to
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: buy everything over there to wear over there.
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: There's an ancient Japanese proverb that says, travel with two suitcases,
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: one suitcase inside of the other, so you can buy
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: salvaged denim.
- 1:27:37Speaker 3: Very nice. It's going to be pretty hot when you're there.
- 1:27:40Speaker 3: I don't know if you've heard there's going to be
- 1:27:41Speaker 3: temperatures that are going to be above normal. Well, I
- 1:27:45Speaker 3: still believe that this is a pretty darn good time
- 1:27:47Speaker 3: to go. I think you'll probably get some good denim shorts.
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: Won't do that. Won't do that at all.
- 1:27:54Speaker 3: Japanese denim shorts.
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it'd be perfect outfit for me to wear as
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: my debut episode of To Catch a Predator.
- 1:28:02Speaker 3: Because it's going to be hot, so you're not going
- 1:28:03Speaker 3: to want Japanese denim pants.
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: Yes, he is.
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: Also known as Blue jeans? Yeah.
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: Bro, nobody's wearing shorts in Japan.
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: Modern Japanese denim.
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: It could be 300 degrees. They don't wear shorts out there?
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: No one's wearing shorts.
- 1:28:18Speaker 3: Oh, that's weird. I would probably go shorts and maybe
- 1:28:22Speaker 3: a nice jean jacket. Nice Japanese jean jacket.
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: Who are you to propose outfits to me?
- 1:28:30Speaker 3: I'm just saying. He's trying to sabotage you. If you're
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: going out there for the denim... You got to go
- 1:28:35Speaker 3: head to toe.
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: I'm not going out there for the denim. Come on.
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: I'm going out there for the suede. I want clothes
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: that have a really good hand feel.
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: Great for skateboarding.
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: When people put their arm on me, I want them
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: to say, dear God, he is touched.
- 1:28:51Speaker 3: Yeah. You could do kickflips off this jacket.
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: No problem.
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: Unfortunately, your entire wardrobe would play in Japan. You wouldn't
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: have to change a thing.
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: No, I have been dressing. I have been purchasing and
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: shopping for this trip my whole life without knowing it.
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: You're not going to know what to bring, though.
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: That's my point. I'm not going to bring anything because
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: I'm going to shop over there. But you got to
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: bring something. T-shirts. Underpants.
- 1:29:16Speaker 3: You going to hit Uniqlo out there? Maybe. Got to?
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: No, you do not have to.
- 1:29:21Speaker 3: The Uniqlo out there is so good.
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: I'm going to go to a place called A Presse,
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: I think is how you pronounce it. A.Presse. P-R-E-S-S-E. It's
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: like the most expensive clothing fucking imaginable. But over there,
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: it's not as bad. Oh, really? But their shit's fucking dope.
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: In fact, this is the only thing of theirs that
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: I own. This shirt.
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: And how much is that?
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: I bought this in Paris where it was not subject
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: to the same tariffs. It was here, but it was
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: still pretty expensive. And these clothes look nice. I'd like
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: if you got me one of those. It's a shirt.
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: It's reimagined American workwear. I mean, their stuff is fucking
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: cool as hell. The fabric's awesome. A lot of silk bombers,
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: things like that.
- 1:30:04Speaker 3: The hoodies are sick. I'd like one of those green shirts.
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: You'll get nothing and like it.
- 1:30:07Speaker 3: I'd like one of those green shirts, which I'm down
- 1:30:10Speaker 3: to Venmo you or Cash App you, whatever you do.
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: Get him some shitty vintage stuff. Actually, there is no
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: shitty vintage.
- 1:30:16Speaker 3: Shitty vintage?
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: Get him like an old football jersey. They have tons
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: of old jerseys and shit. Just get them some dumb,
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: like a Robert Gallery jersey.
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm going to get you some trash.
- 1:30:24Speaker 3: That would be good. I mean, I'm fine with that.
- 1:30:26Speaker 3: I'd probably take an old jersey.
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: Bring you home a bunch more of what you've already got.
- 1:30:30Speaker 3: That would be unbelievable.
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: You don't need more shit.
- 1:30:33Speaker 3: That would be the best gift I could get.
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: One phrase that I'd like to teach you, tsunami some,
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: which means barkeep.
- 1:30:42Speaker 3: Barkeep, okay.
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: Like I said, call him for like a beer. Tsunami some.
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: Tsunami some.
- 1:30:46Speaker 3: That's a good way to get punched in the face,
- 1:30:48Speaker 3: kicked out of the bar. No, it's not. Tsunami-san! You've
- 1:30:52Speaker 3: been over-served. Too much sake for you. As soon as
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: you let one of those out.
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: Tsunami-san!
- 1:31:00Speaker 3: Do they speak English?
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: Tsunami-san!
- 1:31:03Speaker 3: Like, if you were to just say barkeep, would they know?
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: Some people have some broken English... You're going to want
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: to use your.
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: Bring me a beaker of mead. Yeah.
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: Excuse me, bar maiden.
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: Nobody said barkeep since tavern time.
- 1:31:17Speaker 3: Didn't you just say barkeep?
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: That's the literal translation.
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: I need a hot pole of stew and a roux.
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: Some bread and your finest hooker.
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: I don't need anything fancy. Just something with some straw.
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: Dry straw.
- 1:31:32Speaker 3: Thatch you should uh cosplay as like a businessman out
- 1:31:35Speaker 3: there and see if someone brings you noodles when you're
- 1:31:37Speaker 3: passed out on the street because that's what they do
- 1:31:40Speaker 3: that's what ron says they do but he's a pathological
- 1:31:42Speaker 3: liar that's not me that's not me who said that
- 1:31:46Speaker 3: it definitely was you that said that.
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: Bro and i've been watching surviving i watched the the
- 1:31:51Speaker 2: most recent episode um which was i thought extremely funny
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: i mean the marty fake injury thing was so fucking
- 1:32:01Speaker 2: funny to me And they pulled it off so well.
- 1:32:05Speaker 2: And they only cleared it by like four seconds. Were
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: you aware of that? Did you know that they had done.
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: That all the time? I knew that they had that
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: to do. But I think that the edit made it
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: seem like the.
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: Like the the guy the medic was like okay your
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: 10 minutes are up when that was not the case
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: at all Marty had to just completely guess how long
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: it had.
- 1:32:27Speaker 2: Been that's tricky man that's tricky they made it really
- 1:32:31Speaker 2: only by a matter of seconds.
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: It felt like it was 20 minutes felt like 25
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: minutes but it was really super close and I kind
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: of wish they showed that a little bit better how
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: like because it just seems like everybody was in on
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: it and it was a formality when in reality it
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: actually was very close.
- 1:32:45Speaker 2: Yeah, that was really well managed. And I think, you know,
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: I got to say, like, you, Dana, and Marty, to me,
- 1:32:57Speaker 2: have been, like, the stars of the show. Glennie being
- 1:33:00Speaker 2: drunk and being really good at the hook game was
- 1:33:03Speaker 2: really pretty funny, too. And then Tate's been pretty darn
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: good at the game. Pat has been funny.
- 1:33:11Speaker 3: How much longer is it?
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: Like, five more episodes?
- 1:33:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:33:16Speaker 3: Love it. Yeah.
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: Thank you for watching, bro.
- 1:33:18Speaker 2: Of course.
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: Your support means literally everything to me.
- 1:33:20Speaker 2: Of course. Pat has really been on to you. Yeah.
- 1:33:23Speaker 2: What the heck? He's been on your back. He knows
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: you're good.
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: He's been being so nasty to me.
- 1:33:28Speaker 2: Well, he just is a guy who knows a worthy rival.
- 1:33:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: People have been like, oh, they're just scared to vote
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: out Roan. It's like, dude, every episode, everybody has been
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: trying to vote me out. I don't know how you're...
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: There's been people trying to vote me out every single time. Like, oh,
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: they're just scared to vote.
- 1:33:48Speaker 3: Dude, I don't know how you're... Nobody's scared.
- 1:33:50Speaker 2: I don't know how you are turning the tides away
- 1:33:53Speaker 2: from you because I know that if I were in
- 1:33:56Speaker 2: your position and trying to do what you would do,
- 1:33:59Speaker 2: it would only bring more votes to me.
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:34:04Speaker 2: Because they'd be like, he's working over hard over time.
- 1:34:09Speaker 2: Over easy. He's back.
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: He's back.
- 1:34:18Speaker 2: That's very good, Harry.
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: I think that when they're showing what happened on the show,
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: they're only really showing the big work. And I don't
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: think that they're showing the small and subtle work. Because
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: that barely shows up on camera. But the interpersonal stuff
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: that's not part of the game, that's just guys hanging
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: out and getting closer through that, that's not going to
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: show up on camera, but that's a lot of what
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: engendering the goodwill. You know on shows like that, there's
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: tons of joking in between. It doesn't necessarily make it
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: on the camera, but it will get you closer with
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: the people that you're around.
- 1:34:58Speaker 2: Totally.
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: I feel like when we were doing the show together
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: the last season, You and me were just like literally
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: just running around like fucking around and joking the entire time,
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: like joking with each other, like even while we're doing
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: this stuff, like walking the stairways, the hallways together, just
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: like bullshitting and busting balls.
- 1:35:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: And there's a lot of that that that doesn't necessarily
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: make the show.
- 1:35:17Speaker 2: That's true. That's true.
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: But it's very fun.
- 1:35:21Speaker 2: It does seem like this one was a really fun time.
- 1:35:24Speaker 2: You guys were getting after it at night and having
- 1:35:29Speaker 2: a good time.
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: No women in your ear telling you that the dominoes
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: is nasty. Just boys being boys.
- 1:35:40Speaker 3: You love that?
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: Yeah, it's good fun. This episode comes out Thursday, so
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: last night there was an episode that came out where
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: it was like the big, it was like the pink
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: wedding style.
- 1:35:52Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: Love that.
- 1:35:55Speaker 3: Love that.
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: Some juicy shit, bunch of eliminations and, um, a move
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: that I tried to pull off, but, uh, yeah, go
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: watch that episode.
- 1:36:04Speaker 2: Can't wait.
- 1:36:05Speaker 3: Can't wait to check that out.
- 1:36:06Speaker 2: Thanks for not spoiling it for us.
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:36:08Speaker 2: Yeah. Appreciate that.
- 1:36:09Speaker 3: That is good gas. Okay.
- 1:36:11Speaker 2: Let's wrap. All right. I have to go to the bathroom.
- 1:36:14Speaker 3: I got a, I got a meeting.
- 1:36:15Speaker 2: Um, really? I do. Yes. With whom?
- 1:36:18Speaker 3: My manager.
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: With his orthodontist.
- 1:36:20Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:36:22Speaker 2: Good stuff.
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: We will see you guys next week.
- 1:36:24Speaker 2: Goodbye.
