- 0:42Speaker 2: Heather MacDonald. Juicy Scoop. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I've got some hot topics and some updates, and then
- 0:52Speaker 2: I have such a juicy interview with the former EP
- 0:56Speaker 2: of Real Housewives of OC, Thomas Kelly. You've heard about
- 1:00Speaker 2: him a little bit in the news. We get right
- 1:02Speaker 2: into the juice. But even if you don't follow the Housewives,
- 1:05Speaker 2: this is a really juicy interview about any reality show,
- 1:09Speaker 2: how it's produced, how the cast is treated, how the
- 1:12Speaker 2: cast treats the producers. So much Hollywood insight. You're going
- 1:16Speaker 2: to love it. And he's a total delight. So first,
- 1:19Speaker 2: let me just get into a little update. Justin and
- 1:22Speaker 2: I were talking about Eric Decker and how his little
- 1:26Speaker 2: kid supposedly was playing with his phone and accidentally uploaded
- 1:32Speaker 2: a photo of him in the shower. Like little kid
- 1:35Speaker 2: was doing a selfie and little kid who's like four.
- 1:38Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:38Speaker 1: And adorable.
- 1:38Speaker 2: And adorable. accidentally posted the photo onto Instagram story and
- 1:42Speaker 2: it was him in the shower with his perfect backside.
- 1:46Speaker 2: I talked about it. I talked about thirsty moms and
- 1:48Speaker 2: how hard it is to be a thirsty mom. Well,
- 1:51Speaker 2: talk about being a thirsty mom. The Juicy Scoop detectives
- 1:56Speaker 2: zoomed in and realized that there's a lot of long
- 2:01Speaker 2: brown hair on the outside of at the very edge
- 2:06Speaker 2: of the photo where the kid is, meaning it's like,
- 2:09Speaker 2: imagine if I was Jessie. This is what she's being
- 2:12Speaker 2: accused of. There's no trial set. She takes the selfie,
- 2:17Speaker 2: the husband's behind with his perfect ass. She's like, let's
- 2:20Speaker 2: make all these bitches jealous that that's what's fucking me
- 2:22Speaker 2: every night. Let me make everyone jealous that this is
- 2:25Speaker 2: my adorable, perfect looking chocolate eyed baby.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Okay.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Okay. Chocolate-eyed baby, come here. Does a selfie, does a
- 2:33Speaker 2: selfie and go, look at yourself. Yeah. Look at yourself.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Okay.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Hey, you know what? Here's the thing, people. It's hard
- 2:45Speaker 2: being a thirsty bitch out there in 2022. Sometimes you
- 2:50Speaker 2: pretend your kid took a selfie of your husband's perfect body.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Other times you tell your boyfriend, can we film a
- 2:57Speaker 2: video celebrating our one-year anniversary and save it just in
- 3:01Speaker 2: case we break up and I want to post that
- 3:03Speaker 2: video anyway in a post-it breakup. You know, it's a game.
- 3:07Speaker 2: The social media with the stars is a game. So
- 3:10Speaker 2: don't hate the game, people. I mean, don't hate the players.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Hate the game. We don't know. I'm just saying it's hard.
- 3:18Speaker 2: It's hard for thirsty people. You know, I'm dehydrated myself. Okay. Um,
- 3:23Speaker 2: Also update on the Ricky Martin. I said it was
- 3:27Speaker 2: his biological nephew who is accusing him of being a
- 3:32Speaker 2: stalker after they had a relationship for seven months. And
- 3:37Speaker 2: because it is his nephew in, and that is a
- 3:41Speaker 2: relationship that is an incest, he is looking at more time,
- 3:46Speaker 2: a lot more in Puerto Rico than he would in America.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:50Speaker 2: It was pointed out that I said biological nephew and
- 3:53Speaker 2: people were like, I don't know if that's true. What
- 3:55Speaker 2: we found is it is his paternal half sister's son.
- 4:01Speaker 2: So they, so Chris, Ricky Martin and his sister share
- 4:05Speaker 2: the same dad. That sister has a son. Now, I
- 4:09Speaker 2: don't know if the son is biologically hers, if the
- 4:11Speaker 2: son is a stuff, who cares? Okay. The point is
- 4:17Speaker 2: don't be dipping in the family pool for sex in
- 4:21Speaker 2: any way. Okay. Find some other people.
- 4:24Speaker 5: Okay.
- 4:24Speaker 2: It's very, so, um, I just wanted to clear that
- 4:27Speaker 2: up cause I'm, I'm not a hundred percent sure of,
- 4:30Speaker 2: of who, in fact, but he, again, Ricky Martin is
- 4:33Speaker 2: people's claim. None of this is true. And that this
- 4:37Speaker 2: 21 year old nephew, whether half nephew or full nephew
- 4:43Speaker 2: or whatever is Um, he suffers from mental illness and
- 4:46Speaker 2: he clearly made up all these lies. So just to
- 4:49Speaker 2: get that out, um, couple little update on the Jen
- 4:52Speaker 2: Ben wedding. Us Weekly is saying that something is not
- 4:57Speaker 2: adding up. Ben Affleck listed his date of divorce from
- 5:00Speaker 2: Jennifer Garner as exactly nine years before his wedding to
- 5:03Speaker 2: Jennifer Lopez, even though the former couple did not finalize
- 5:07Speaker 2: their divorce until, um, October 18th, I mean, until October, 2018.
- 5:14Speaker 2: So there's been these weird discrepancies. I don't know if
- 5:16Speaker 2: he was like tired or buzzed or wrote the wrong
- 5:19Speaker 2: thing on the paperwork in marrying Jennifer Lopez. And that's
- 5:22Speaker 2: what Us Weekly is looking at. But, um, so there's,
- 5:26Speaker 2: he's saying that the date of separation was 2013 and
- 5:28Speaker 2: then he filed in 2015 and then they weren't divorced
- 5:30Speaker 2: until 2018. I know that I tested for a talk
- 5:38Speaker 2: show in which Jennifer Garner was going to be in
- 5:40Speaker 2: it and be a panelist. It was her show. And
- 5:42Speaker 2: I was going to be one of them. The show
- 5:44Speaker 2: never went past the pilot stage. However, one of her
- 5:47Speaker 2: juicy stories was she and her husband, Ben Affleck at
- 5:51Speaker 2: the time, both found themselves up at 3am going to
- 5:54Speaker 2: the bathroom, checking on the kids. And they're like, you
- 5:56Speaker 2: know what? You got to get your bones in with
- 5:58Speaker 2: your husband when you have little kids when you can. Okay.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Okay.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Quite distracting me that imagining her having sex with Ben
- 6:03Speaker 2: Affleck while I have to like be funny on this show.
- 6:06Speaker 2: That would have been in 2015 that I experienced that story.
- 6:13Speaker 2: So if they were separated in 2013, we didn't know
- 6:17Speaker 2: about it. And they obviously got back together because she
- 6:20Speaker 2: said she was, you know, boning him. I don't really know.
- 6:22Speaker 2: But then I did look up why in fact they
- 6:26Speaker 2: did break up. He and Jennifer Garner, sorry, he and
- 6:29Speaker 2: Jennifer Lopez, uh, Almost 19, it was about 19 years ago. Um,
- 6:35Speaker 2: it was 2003. They were engaged. She had the big
- 6:38Speaker 2: pink diamond and he had just spent a million dollars
- 6:42Speaker 2: celebrating her 33rd birthday. A big party, million dollars on it.
- 6:48Speaker 2: They were so in love. Wedding plans set. This was
- 6:52Speaker 2: going to be a big, huge wedding. This would have
- 6:54Speaker 2: been her third wedding. She got married to this one
- 6:56Speaker 2: guy way in the beginning of her career. And she
- 7:00Speaker 2: divorced Chris Judd, the choreographer. According to this Daily Mail article,
- 7:04Speaker 2: he got $ 9 million from that divorce, Chris Judd. I
- 7:07Speaker 2: don't know if that's true. That's what Daily Mail said. Anyway,
- 7:10Speaker 2: what happened was Ben Affleck was out filming a movie
- 7:13Speaker 2: in Vancouver. He and Christian Slater, Christian Slater's wife, Ryan
- 7:17Speaker 2: something at the time, maybe they're still married, and Tara
- 7:21Speaker 2: Reid all go to this strip club. And according to
- 7:23Speaker 2: the stripper who told Daily Mail her story... They have
- 7:28Speaker 2: eyewitnesses that they were all in a private room, that
- 7:30Speaker 2: they were giving him Ben Affleck multiple lap dances, that
- 7:33Speaker 2: Christian Slater invited them back, that they hung out together.
- 7:38Speaker 2: That's what happened 19 years ago. So that's why she,
- 7:40Speaker 2: rightfully so, cut off the wedding. I think it's great.
- 7:44Speaker 2: He's a different man. It's 19 years later. But I
- 7:47Speaker 2: just wanted to clear that up because I couldn't remember
- 7:49Speaker 2: and I figured it out. Also, people believe that Ben
- 7:53Speaker 2: Affleck has had a hair transplant. I immediately said no
- 7:55Speaker 2: until I looked it up. Look it up. And also
- 8:03Speaker 2: I remember that Casper Smart, who she dated after, who
- 8:08Speaker 2: is the singer that she has the kids with? After
- 8:11Speaker 2: she broke up with Mark Anthony, she dated Casper for
- 8:14Speaker 2: a while. He was very into her. He seemed like
- 8:18Speaker 2: a delight. But there were reports, again from the Daily Mail,
- 8:22Speaker 2: back in 2012, Isn't JLo enough for you, Casper Smart?
- 8:27Speaker 2: Toy Boy is one of the world's sexiest singers caught
- 8:30Speaker 2: slinking into a seedy X-rated peep show. I remember that
- 8:34Speaker 2: was a big scandal. You know, it's not on the
- 8:38Speaker 2: woman how hot you are if a guy cheats or not.
- 8:40Speaker 2: You know, it's the guy who's cheating or, I mean,
- 8:43Speaker 2: can you believe going, like really? Even in 2012, I mean,
- 8:46Speaker 2: maybe there wasn't OnlyFans, but there certainly was online porn.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Like you're still going to like a brick and mortar
- 8:51Speaker 2: porn shop. Anyway, very strange. Um, and, uh, I just,
- 8:57Speaker 2: so tonight I am, um, you guys have watched by
- 9:00Speaker 2: now you will have watched real houses of Beverly Hills.
- 9:02Speaker 2: I'm all up on it, but I thought this article
- 9:05Speaker 2: was kind of interesting that Lisa Renna commented on a,
- 9:10Speaker 2: on people talking about like on a podcast that they
- 9:13Speaker 2: really thought that there wasn't enough time given to grief
- 9:17Speaker 2: and more time given to the fact that Crystal used
- 9:19Speaker 2: the word dark saying Sutton said something dark. That got three-episoded.
- 9:25Speaker 2: And so Lisa Renna then commented and was like, yes,
- 9:28Speaker 2: I'm disgusted that Bravo only gave one episode dedication to
- 9:33Speaker 2: my mother, Lois. I just want to say, Lisa Renna,
- 9:37Speaker 2: I love you. I love you on the show. I
- 9:39Speaker 2: love your Lisa Renna beauty. I'm wearing that lipstick right now.
- 9:42Speaker 2: A lot of people ask me. It's from Lisa Renna.
- 9:45Speaker 2: But I just... I know you have to comment on everything,
- 9:48Speaker 2: but I don't agree. Okay. A lot of people's parents
- 9:51Speaker 2: in the franchise have passed and your mom was beloved
- 9:56Speaker 2: and she was great. Um, but I, I, I think
- 9:59Speaker 2: they did a great job. I think we're covering it.
- 10:01Speaker 2: And sometimes, you know, it, that, that's it. We, they
- 10:04Speaker 2: dedicated it. We got to see it. We got to
- 10:06Speaker 2: see you go through it. You got to talk about it. Um,
- 10:10Speaker 2: you know, I'm, that's my opinion. I think, I think
- 10:12Speaker 2: it's being, I think you're stretching a little girl, but
- 10:15Speaker 2: whatever it got me talking about you. So you probably
- 10:17Speaker 2: did the right thing by commenting. Um, oh, speaking of which,
- 10:21Speaker 2: one more juicy tidbit of the housewives news. So Tamara
- 10:26Speaker 2: and Vicky were on, uh, watch what happens live and
- 10:30Speaker 2: they still have yet to announce Tamara's return. So I'm
- 10:33Speaker 2: guessing they're going to announce Tamara's return with maybe another
- 10:36Speaker 2: OG at the same time. Um, but she and Vicky
- 10:40Speaker 2: both looked great and they had a good time. And
- 10:42Speaker 2: then at the end he goes, what's your thorn? What's
- 10:44Speaker 2: your rose about the ultimate girls trip at Dorinda's? They
- 10:47Speaker 2: both said, oh, we had fun with the roses, whatever.
- 10:50Speaker 2: And Tamara said, my thorn is when Jill Zarin tried
- 10:53Speaker 2: to sell our likeness or my likeness on her website.
- 10:57Speaker 2: I was like, wait, what? Does she have like shirts
- 10:59Speaker 2: with Tamara's face on it? So I called the source.
- 11:02Speaker 2: I asked Allie, what was this about? And she told me.
- 11:06Speaker 2: If you watch the show, a lot of them are
- 11:09Speaker 2: giving each other gifts. And one of the gifts that
- 11:11Speaker 2: Jill gave everybody were these great sweatshirts. I have one.
- 11:14Speaker 2: They're excellent quality. They're like $ 50. They're really thick. And
- 11:18Speaker 2: they're black. And each one, she got the girl's quote
- 11:22Speaker 2: on it. So I think Tamra's was like, there's a
- 11:25Speaker 2: lot of housewives, but no one hotter. Something like that.
- 11:27Speaker 2: And then it says Team Tamra on the back. I
- 11:29Speaker 2: think you see Brandy wearing one one morning. Team Brandy. Well,
- 11:32Speaker 2: in order to make those, the minimum amount that you
- 11:35Speaker 2: could make was 12. So she gave each girl one
- 11:39Speaker 2: and then she had 11 of each. And so they
- 11:41Speaker 2: put it on the website to sell the 11 off
- 11:43Speaker 2: and give the money to charity. And the girls didn't
- 11:47Speaker 2: like that. So they took it all down. So there
- 11:51Speaker 2: is a box at Jill Zarin's house of the Team Tamers,
- 11:54Speaker 2: the Team Evas, all that stuff with their cute quote
- 11:58Speaker 2: on it. So I don't know what they're going to do,
- 11:59Speaker 2: but I just wanted to clear that up. I'm going
- 12:02Speaker 2: to be at their BravoCon weekend.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Okay.
- 12:05Speaker 2: I'm going to, I have a live show. Tickets are
- 12:07Speaker 2: selling great. There's only one show. So once it's sold out,
- 12:10Speaker 2: that's it. And Carlos King is joining me and it's
- 12:13Speaker 2: October 15th. Go to heathermcdonald.net. But let me see. Maybe that,
- 12:18Speaker 2: maybe we'll get this. Maybe they can come and sell
- 12:20Speaker 2: their sweatshirts. Maybe they'll give me permission to throw them
- 12:23Speaker 2: out to the hottest fans. I don't know, but I
- 12:25Speaker 2: wanted to Just explain that. I really hope all these
- 12:28Speaker 2: housewives can get together because I freaking love them all
- 12:31Speaker 2: and I'm having a great time watching it. So here
- 12:34Speaker 2: we go with even more with all the inside scoop
- 12:38Speaker 2: ever with former EP and reality show producer superstar Thomas Kelly. Guys,
- 12:47Speaker 2: I want to tell you about detoxing your hair because
- 12:50Speaker 2: I think it's really important. I just used Waze Clarifying
- 12:53Speaker 2: Detox Shampoo and This is clarifying shampoo that deeply cleanses
- 12:57Speaker 2: and really strengthens hair while removing that product buildup. The
- 13:01Speaker 2: apple cider vinegar helps exfoliate and it really helps add
- 13:05Speaker 2: to the shine and smoothness of your hair and just
- 13:09Speaker 2: really helps to remove that hard water deposits and impurities
- 13:12Speaker 2: that just happen over time. Already noticed a huge difference.
- 13:16Speaker 2: I also love Waze Leave-In Conditioner. This is perfect. You
- 13:19Speaker 2: just spray it on your hair when it's wet and
- 13:22Speaker 2: it makes detangling your hair so easy. And what I
- 13:24Speaker 2: love because I do dry my hair straight with a hairdryer,
- 13:28Speaker 2: it really helps protect your hair against the heat up
- 13:31Speaker 2: to 450 degrees and reduces damage, frizz, and flyaways, which
- 13:36Speaker 2: is just really helping to give like that perfect smooth
- 13:39Speaker 2: blowout look. You're going to love it. I also love
- 13:41Speaker 2: the Scalp Serum. Because your scalp is where it's at.
- 13:44Speaker 2: That's where it's all coming from, people. And it can
- 13:46Speaker 2: get dry and itchy and irritated. And this is making
- 13:49Speaker 2: a huge difference as well. So I want you guys
- 13:51Speaker 2: to enjoy your hair more. Find your way. Get customized
- 13:56Speaker 2: hair routine when you take their quiz at theway.com and

- 14:14Speaker 2: code juicy. Hello and welcome to juicy scoop. Um, I
- 14:21Speaker 2: think this is going to be extremely juicy. I'm so
- 14:23Speaker 2: excited with Thomas Kelly, producer of real housewives of OC,
- 14:30Speaker 2: Beverly Hills, Dallas, numerous other.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Shows, Potomac too.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Potomac too. We, I thank you so much for coming.
- 14:38Speaker 1: To thank you for having me. I'm super excited for
- 14:40Speaker 1: the summer. Thank you.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Um, I mean, let's just start with OC because we're
- 14:44Speaker 2: in OC. And your name has popped up recently because
- 14:48Speaker 2: you are no longer, you're not going to be doing
- 14:50Speaker 2: the next season of OC.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Officially, no. Not coming back after three seasons as the EP. Right.
- 14:57Speaker 2: And so with that, we'll get into that, then I
- 15:01Speaker 2: want to get back to you. But let's just get
- 15:02Speaker 2: to the hot stuff. Okay. So there's been rumors swirling
- 15:06Speaker 2: and there's been other shows that have talked about the
- 15:08Speaker 2: fact that A big storyline last season was that Noelle, that,
- 15:15Speaker 2: what was her name? Nicole. Nicole came on the show.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Nicole James.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Nicole James. And it gets revealed that she had gotten
- 15:21Speaker 2: a boob job that apparently she wasn't happy with by Dr. Dubrow.
- 15:26Speaker 2: And there was some type of lawsuit. And that's, everyone's
- 15:29Speaker 2: rumbling about it as she's the new cast member. They
- 15:32Speaker 2: go to Heather Dubrow's house for a beautiful Nobu sushi dinner.
- 15:36Speaker 2: And Emily brings it up. And it obviously, what I believe,
- 15:43Speaker 2: people wondered, how did they not know? Well, if it
- 15:47Speaker 2: was 10 years ago and lawsuits are kind of part
- 15:49Speaker 2: of any plastic surgeon's business, you know, something they have
- 15:53Speaker 2: to deal with malpractice, I believe her reaction was she
- 15:58Speaker 2: was friendly with Nicole but had no idea.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I agree with that. No, I think, look, that's what's
- 16:04Speaker 1: so juicy about this story is that, you know, You
- 16:09Speaker 1: start following these things on these shows.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:12Speaker 1: And people start talking on camera. And our job as
- 16:16Speaker 1: producers is to follow it, to track it. And so
- 16:19Speaker 1: when this came out and was brought to Heather's attention,
- 16:21Speaker 1: of course she was mad. Of course she was freaked out.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Of course she was confused. Did I know who this
- 16:27Speaker 1: woman was? Don't forget, she told Shannon on a call,
- 16:32Speaker 1: that's the wrong Nicole. Because she had a different name
- 16:36Speaker 1: back then. And Shannon was insisting, no, this is the
- 16:40Speaker 1: same woman. I'm concerned. That's what makes this so nuanced
- 16:43Speaker 1: and so intriguing, right?
- 16:45Speaker 2: Yes.
- 16:45Speaker 1: It's like, we don't know who this woman's identity is.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Shannon's like, she looked like Pamela Anderson back then with
- 16:50Speaker 1: the big boobs and the blonde hair and this and that.
- 16:52Speaker 1: It can't be the same woman. And Heather shot it
- 16:54Speaker 1: down with conviction. This is not the same woman. Okay,
- 16:57Speaker 1: so intriguing, right? And then it comes out and literally
- 17:01Speaker 1: all of us, no one knew. I was on the
- 17:03Speaker 1: edge of my seat because Heather... you know, we have
- 17:07Speaker 1: conversations and Heather's been open about this. She thought that
- 17:11Speaker 1: production knew and was setting her up. I mean, that's
- 17:15Speaker 1: a natural instinct for a cast member to feel that way.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Cause we know whenever things don't go well for someone,
- 17:19Speaker 1: they point to production. They want to blame them, right?
- 17:22Speaker 1: She's been open about having those feelings. We've insisted, no,
- 17:27Speaker 1: this is our job is to follow these stories, let
- 17:30Speaker 1: them unfold. And you guys discover it for yourselves on camera.
- 17:33Speaker 1: So she was surprised. Yes, of course.
- 17:36Speaker 2: But when you guys hired Nicole to be on the show,
- 17:38Speaker 2: and I don't know if you can answer this or not,
- 17:41Speaker 2: were you aware that she had a history with Dr. Dubrow? No. No.
- 17:47Speaker 1: And there are certain background checks that cast members go through,
- 17:50Speaker 1: especially the new ones. But some of these things don't
- 17:53Speaker 1: come through.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Yeah, but a lawsuit from 12 years ago that was
- 17:56Speaker 2: settled out of court wouldn't be something that would pop up,
- 18:01Speaker 2: I would assume.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Most likely not. So we were blindsided just as much
- 18:05Speaker 1: as everybody else. And our job is to follow it.
- 18:08Speaker 2: So you guys see that this is coming up, that
- 18:10Speaker 2: Shannon's telling Emily and Gina about it and everything, and
- 18:13Speaker 2: you go into the sushi party. And so she feels blindsided.
- 18:18Speaker 2: We see the anger. We see Terry in his leather
- 18:22Speaker 2: jacket and just getting pissed. Now, from that is when
- 18:27Speaker 2: Noella says... and which Noella had an issue with Heather,
- 18:31Speaker 2: she says that it got more than what we saw
- 18:34Speaker 2: at home. That like, you know, she pushed someone or
- 18:38Speaker 2: touched someone. She has claimed she never has. I mean,
- 18:42Speaker 2: I don't know how much you can share about those rumors.
- 18:45Speaker 2: You know, Tamara was asked about it on Jeff Lewis's.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Kelly Dodd called in and claimed, yes, it's true.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Yep, there's a lot of speculation and a lot of talk.
- 18:57Speaker 1: which I always think is, is intriguing. You know, unfortunately
- 19:00Speaker 1: my name's gotten thrown around a little bit, but there
- 19:03Speaker 1: is a lot of, there's a lot that we can't
- 19:05Speaker 1: say because we sign NDAs with these shows and it's
- 19:08Speaker 1: important that we keep that safe and, and, um, and
- 19:11Speaker 1: honor those NDAs. Um, but I can tell you that, um,
- 19:16Speaker 1: you know, Noella has made her claims. She's also been
- 19:21Speaker 1: called out for being a liar. We saw Heather being angry.
- 19:25Speaker 1: And she's admitted it. She saw red. She was angry.
- 19:28Speaker 1: You know, if you agree with her or not, that's
- 19:31Speaker 1: up to you. But she was mad. And, you know,
- 19:36Speaker 1: no one's really going to know exactly what happened.
- 19:39Speaker 2: But so then I go upstairs and the people continue
- 19:41Speaker 2: with the sushi. And is that when she and Terry
- 19:47Speaker 2: figure out who she is? And in fact, it was... settled?
- 19:51Speaker 1: I'll tell you what happened. Correct. That's a good point. Well,
- 19:55Speaker 1: you know, a lot of times if cast members are
- 19:58Speaker 1: having a moment on camera They're producers. That's what we're
- 20:02Speaker 1: there for. You know, they want to ask us questions.
- 20:04Speaker 1: They're upset. Yes, Heather was, she was baffled. Okay, so
- 20:08Speaker 1: Gina felt obligated to break the news to Heather, right?
- 20:11Speaker 1: That night, like that Shannon was making these accusations, blah, blah, blah,
- 20:15Speaker 1: or making these assertions about Nicole James. And Gina wanted
- 20:21Speaker 1: to clear the air. She felt the need to do that.
- 20:23Speaker 1: So when Heather heard that information, her head was spinning.
- 20:27Speaker 1: You know, she walks off camera. We saw that.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:31Speaker 1: And yeah, she was questioning like, what's going on? What
- 20:33Speaker 1: is this about? Our job as producers is to, you know,
- 20:37Speaker 1: make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable in the environment
- 20:40Speaker 1: they're in to have these discussions. So her job and
- 20:44Speaker 1: everyone else's job on the cast is to find out
- 20:47Speaker 1: on camera exactly what's going on. And when that's an
- 20:50Speaker 1: uncomfortable moment, it's hard sometimes. And your instinct as a
- 20:53Speaker 1: cast member sometimes is to walk off. You get mad.
- 20:56Speaker 1: You try to figure it out. You don't want to
- 20:57Speaker 1: move forward. But ultimately, at the end of the day,
- 21:00Speaker 1: you have to come back and you have to face it.
- 21:02Speaker 1: And she and Terry did. Because Heather, I really, as
- 21:09Speaker 1: far as what I was witnessing, and we all saw
- 21:11Speaker 1: it on the show, she was blindsided by this. Like
- 21:14Speaker 1: you said, it was like this happened so many years ago. Maybe,
- 21:18Speaker 1: you know, and doctors get sued all the time. So
- 21:20Speaker 1: it's like, was this just one of those things that
- 21:22Speaker 1: someone took care of and the information never got to
- 21:24Speaker 1: them and they didn't know? So I think the really
- 21:26Speaker 1: interesting thing that happened was Heather's instinct and Terry's instinct
- 21:31Speaker 1: was to think that we knew and that we were
- 21:34Speaker 1: setting them up. That is not true. That is not true.
- 21:36Speaker 1: And I understand that reaction. And that night, I kept
- 21:39Speaker 1: saying to them, I understand why you're frustrated. I would
- 21:42Speaker 1: be too if I brought my friend onto a show
- 21:44Speaker 1: or invited them. And then all of a sudden, I
- 21:45Speaker 1: found out that they had sued my partner. Of course,
- 21:48Speaker 1: you're going to be frustrated. Reward the easy way.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Optionscard.ie.
- 22:17Speaker 5: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 22:20Speaker 5: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 22:23Speaker 5: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 22:28Speaker 5: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 22:31Speaker 4: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 22:34Speaker 1: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 22:36Speaker 1: filed against me.
- 22:37Speaker 3: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 22:39Speaker 3: what would you do if it was given back?
- 22:42Speaker 4: Where did that need come from, where you thought that
- 22:45Speaker 4: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 22:47Speaker 2: He said, I have a work dad.
- 22:48Speaker 4: I need a home dad. What happens next?
- 22:50Speaker 1: When I came in, he started crying.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 22:56Speaker 4: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 22:59Speaker 4: happens next.
- 23:00Speaker 1: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 23:03Speaker 1: every day was.
- 23:03Speaker 2: You're worth the work.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches. You can
- 23:07Speaker 1: use your voice even if it shakes.
- 23:09Speaker 5: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 23:12Speaker 5: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 23:23Speaker 1: We didn't have anything to do with that.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Yeah. It's like the classic thing that I've gone through
- 23:29Speaker 2: my head a million times and not until I interviewed
- 23:31Speaker 2: Carlos King who worked on Real Housewives of New Jersey.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Yeah. And Atlanta for many years. Yeah.
- 23:38Speaker 2: When did Teresa find out that they hired her sister-in-law?
- 23:41Speaker 2: And like, where was she blindsided? Did she feel tricked?
- 23:45Speaker 2: And he kind of cleared it up too, where it's like,
- 23:47Speaker 2: it's not, you know, this mystery that you think, but
- 23:50Speaker 2: there's still this underlying, like, you know, they, they're frenemies.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Or whatever you want to call it.
- 23:54Speaker 2: But like, with, with that, um, it's interesting because then
- 23:58Speaker 2: when they had that, that like mafioso moment with two ponytails.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. Heather and Shannon.
- 24:06Speaker 2: If you ever come from it, I was like, okay,
- 24:11Speaker 2: you're right exactly what you said. You get hired to
- 24:13Speaker 2: do this show. And part of it is reveal everything
- 24:17Speaker 2: about your life, but also be a team player and
- 24:20Speaker 2: don't go out to dinner by yourselves to have a
- 24:23Speaker 2: juicy confrontation. Make sure that we're there.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 24:27Speaker 2: And I actually remember hanging out after the Breaking of
- 24:35Speaker 2: the Ground party. which we were invited to Heather invited
- 24:38Speaker 2: our family and we came and we stayed here. And
- 24:41Speaker 2: my son was like little her, all of our kids
- 24:43Speaker 2: were little. So it was super fun in part day.
- 24:45Speaker 2: And we go over to Shannon's after and Megan King
- 24:49Speaker 2: and Vincent's there. And I, I think she had just been, Oh.
- 24:52Speaker 1: No, she was just there. She was there. She was just.
- 24:55Speaker 2: There as like a, just a girl like hanging out.
- 24:58Speaker 2: And Brooks was there who is new to dating. Amazing.
- 25:02Speaker 2: And we're just like all hanging out. And, um, And
- 25:05Speaker 2: I remember, Shannon, we all went out to Mastro's that night.
- 25:13Speaker 1: I was going to say, it's either Mastro's, Javier's, or
- 25:15Speaker 1: The Quiet Woman.
- 25:16Speaker 2: And I want to say that one of them, it
- 25:19Speaker 2: was Vicky or Sony saying that they were getting a
- 25:21Speaker 2: text from the producer saying that they were pissed that
- 25:26Speaker 2: we were all, not me, but they were all going out.
- 25:31Speaker 2: And really, nothing juicy happened that night.
- 25:35Speaker 1: But it could have.
- 25:36Speaker 2: But it could have happened. And it was like, how
- 25:37Speaker 2: dare you? And that was my first clue to be like, oh, yeah,
- 25:40Speaker 2: you're right. You're filming a documentary. You wouldn't be doing
- 25:44Speaker 2: this if you're following a murder trial and the convict
- 25:47Speaker 2: is the subject of it or the accuser is the
- 25:50Speaker 2: subject of it. If you're doing the staircase, you wouldn't
- 25:53Speaker 2: want Michael Pearson going to meet his attorney without you
- 25:57Speaker 2: or whatever. So I'm like, oh, okay, I get that.
- 26:01Speaker 1: We're up against that all the time, Heather, all the time.
- 26:05Speaker 1: You see it on social media. You see them out
- 26:07Speaker 1: doing stuff, and we're like, what are you doing? Save
- 26:10Speaker 1: it for camera. There is a fine line between– but
- 26:12Speaker 1: these women, you want them to have authentic relationships. You
- 26:15Speaker 1: want them to really be rooted in a realistic rapport.
- 26:19Speaker 1: So you want them to hang out and get to
- 26:21Speaker 1: know each other, but you don't want all those juicy
- 26:24Speaker 1: bits to happen off camera– when they're together. So it's a,
- 26:27Speaker 1: it's a balance, right?
- 26:28Speaker 2: You feel like they're in this reality world of, of
- 26:31Speaker 2: especially housewives. There are these little like alliances that happen
- 26:35Speaker 2: when they're off and off break. And they're like, listen,
- 26:38Speaker 2: if anything happens, if you find out my husband's cheating,
- 26:41Speaker 2: if you did it, you gotta promise me that you're
- 26:44Speaker 2: going to like, say, meet me at Ladero ranch gate
- 26:47Speaker 2: for a walk.
- 26:49Speaker 1: With no cameras, because I'm not talking about this on camera.
- 26:52Speaker 2: That's why I feel like sometimes when we watch something happen,
- 26:56Speaker 2: explode between these women, it's so bad because I feel
- 26:59Speaker 2: like they had some secret alliance before, but then when
- 27:03Speaker 2: the person was put in it, they were like, you
- 27:06Speaker 2: know what? It's my job to do this on camera,
- 27:08Speaker 2: and I want to keep my job, and I'm just
- 27:11Speaker 2: going to say it at this cocktail party.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Perfect example. Example is this past season of Orange County
- 27:18Speaker 1: when Shannon and Gina and Emily go out to Javier's,
- 27:22Speaker 1: one of the three spots in Newport that people go to,
- 27:26Speaker 1: after we shot at The Deck. A wonderful moment. I
- 27:29Speaker 1: loved seeing those three just have so much fun and bond.
- 27:31Speaker 1: The Deck was the restaurant. The restaurant. Yeah, on the beach.
- 27:34Speaker 1: And they were talking about Nicole James. And they had
- 27:37Speaker 1: such a great conversation. There was a lot more to
- 27:39Speaker 1: that conversation that we don't have time to show on
- 27:41Speaker 1: the show. But they were laughing and whooping it up
- 27:43Speaker 1: in Vicki Gunvalson's terminology. So afterwards, they're like, I don't
- 27:47Speaker 1: want to stop. Let's keep going. And I was like, no.
- 27:52Speaker 1: That's one of those moments. It's like, no, go home.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Because I don't want you guys going and doing stuff
- 27:56Speaker 1: off camera. But they go. Anyway, they have to live
- 27:59Speaker 1: their lives. I get it. So it was so frustrating.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Oh, so they go and the cameras weren't there.
- 28:03Speaker 1: They did. They went to Javier's without cameras.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Because you couldn't just continue because there's hours and you
- 28:08Speaker 2: didn't clear it and everything.
- 28:09Speaker 5: Correct. Yeah.
- 28:10Speaker 1: We didn't have permission. We had another schedule. We have
- 28:12Speaker 1: another shoot to go to.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Right.
- 28:15Speaker 1: You know, we have three months to shoot this entire season. Right.
- 28:18Speaker 1: So we could do it for a year. They used
- 28:20Speaker 1: to do Atlanta for like six, nine months or something.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Right.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Back in the day. But anyway, so they go to Javier's.
- 28:26Speaker 1: They continue to drink. Their drinks are being poured. They're
- 28:29Speaker 1: having a good old time. And Shannon says, this is
- 28:32Speaker 1: what we see on the show. Shannon says, I just
- 28:36Speaker 1: can't believe it. This is Nicole James. It's got to
- 28:38Speaker 1: be her. It's got to be her. Pinky promise. They
- 28:42Speaker 1: did a pinky promise. This is what you're talking about.
- 28:44Speaker 1: There's the alliance.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Because Shannon felt really close to them. And this is
- 28:48Speaker 1: what we love about Shannon, right?
- 28:49Speaker 2: She's wide open.
- 28:49Speaker 1: And so- she says to them what she learns and has,
- 28:56Speaker 1: has learned about Nicole. She knew the juicy scoop.
- 28:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:58Speaker 1: And so they made a pinky promise and then off
- 29:01Speaker 1: they go. Right. And then Gina, the next day she
- 29:03Speaker 1: wakes up, she's clear minded. She's no longer, you know,
- 29:06Speaker 1: under the airs. Yeah. With four margaritas in her or
- 29:08Speaker 1: more or whatever. And so she's like, can I curse? No. Yeah.
- 29:13Speaker 1: She's like, what the fuck?
- 29:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:14Speaker 1: I have this information and now I have to like
- 29:17Speaker 1: hold it. And then she meets Heather at, We're at,
- 29:21Speaker 1: we're at Mastro's. I think one of the three places.
- 29:24Speaker 1: And she's sitting there with Heather and she's like, are
- 29:26Speaker 1: you going to tell her? She's like, what? And then
- 29:28Speaker 1: Shannon's thinking to herself, oh fuck, you know, I had
- 29:30Speaker 1: too much to drink. I'm doing the pinky promise, the
- 29:32Speaker 1: pinky promise. And that was broken. So that's a perfect
- 29:35Speaker 1: example of how that stuff off camera can get really
- 29:37Speaker 1: messy for you.
- 29:38Speaker 2: And then in Gina's defense.
- 29:39Speaker 1: But really, good for the show.
- 29:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:41Speaker 2: And in Gina's defense, she's probably like, I, you know,
- 29:44Speaker 2: I don't know what this lawsuit is, but I don't
- 29:46Speaker 2: want it blown up on camera that could hurt him more.
- 29:49Speaker 2: So it's like, I understand. It's just like.
- 29:51Speaker 1: And jeopardize her new relationship with Heather DeBruyne.
- 29:53Speaker 2: Right. Right.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Which is what was really important to her.
- 29:55Speaker 2: And getting those warm towels.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Yeah. And getting those warm towels.
- 29:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Being able to cozy up in that bathroom.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Who doesn't want that? Certainly Gina does. And there's like
- 30:04Speaker 1: little nice little leather jackets and the outfits that Heather,
- 30:06Speaker 1: you know, provides for her.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 30:09Speaker 1: She looks great, right? Gina looks amazing.
- 30:11Speaker 2: Oh, Gina looks great. Yeah, yeah. And then, so anyway, okay,
- 30:16Speaker 2: so thanks for explaining that, but you are no longer
- 30:20Speaker 2: with the show.
- 30:20Speaker 1: I'm not with the show anymore.
- 30:22Speaker 2: No. And that is because they said goodbye to you.
- 30:25Speaker 1: They, yeah, it's so interesting, right?
- 30:27Speaker 2: They put you on pause.
- 30:29Speaker 1: It was drawn out. I was on pause, yeah. I've
- 30:31Speaker 1: been put on hold, right? It wasn't a block, but
- 30:36Speaker 1: on hold. And, you know, Bravo has this philosophy, agree
- 30:39Speaker 1: with it or not, that sometimes relationships need to be
- 30:43Speaker 1: refreshed on the cast, within the producing world, all of that.
- 30:47Speaker 1: I don't entirely disagree. I actually think that I'm the
- 30:51Speaker 1: best person for this group of women because of the
- 30:54Speaker 1: history I have. And because I know how to push
- 30:57Speaker 1: them out of their comfort zone to deliver something that
- 31:00Speaker 1: otherwise they might not be feeling comfortable to deliver with
- 31:03Speaker 1: somebody else.
- 31:04Speaker 5: Right.
- 31:04Speaker 1: That's my personal philosophy. That's what I'm good at. That's
- 31:07Speaker 1: what I've been good at. That's why I've been so
- 31:08Speaker 1: successful on these shows over the years. But I think
- 31:12Speaker 1: there's so much talk about orange County and where it's going.
- 31:15Speaker 1: And there's been so many, um, some might say misfires
- 31:19Speaker 1: and casting or whatnot. Um, But whatever it is, it's
- 31:23Speaker 1: like there's a lot of pressure on the show to
- 31:25Speaker 1: succeed and to continue on and to maybe re-find its
- 31:29Speaker 1: original image. Because this is the thing, right? You always
- 31:31Speaker 1: want to reinvent these shows. You always want something fresh.
- 31:33Speaker 1: You want to move it forward. But sometimes when you
- 31:35Speaker 1: do or you're going in a different direction, it might
- 31:37Speaker 1: not be exactly what everybody's really wanting. So it's an
- 31:40Speaker 1: experiment of sorts, but it's a very expensive one. And
- 31:43Speaker 1: I understand that Bravo has to make certain choices. And
- 31:46Speaker 1: so moving away from me to be the showrunner on this,
- 31:52Speaker 1: It's their decision. I have made a huge career out
- 31:55Speaker 1: of Bravo. I'm appreciative. I love it. I've loved working
- 31:59Speaker 1: with them. But now I'm also finding new paths for
- 32:03Speaker 1: myself too in my career. So I'm currently on hold.
- 32:07Speaker 1: I'm currently part of the Ex-Housewives Club until they asked
- 32:11Speaker 1: me to come back and do one of the other shows.
- 32:13Speaker 1: I've done, I don't know, four franchises so far.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Well, I think that the success of the Ex-Housewives Club
- 32:19Speaker 2: at Dorinda's house... People loving that, which is just only
- 32:23Speaker 2: on Peacock. I'm sure they'll replay it on Bravo later,
- 32:25Speaker 2: but it's on Peacock. And I think people loving that
- 32:29Speaker 2: is adding to the rumors that OC is bringing back.
- 32:34Speaker 2: I've heard everything from... Tamara seems to be the strongest
- 32:38Speaker 2: one that people believe is coming back.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a buzz about that.
- 32:40Speaker 2: But I've heard also Alexis Bellino, and I've heard Vicky,
- 32:44Speaker 2: of course, and Gretchen.
- 32:46Speaker 5: Yep.
- 32:47Speaker 2: And, um, and I don't know if that would leave
- 32:49Speaker 2: Gina and Emily coming back. We do know that Jen
- 32:51Speaker 2: and Noella left and Noella. Yeah.
- 32:55Speaker 1: What do you think about that?
- 32:57Speaker 2: I I'm okay with Noella leaving because I just don't
- 33:00Speaker 2: think she formed any like real friendships because of the
- 33:03Speaker 2: sweet James.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Um, which she had limitations and the access of her life.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Yeah. You know, she has a whole daughter with somebody
- 33:10Speaker 2: else that we couldn't talk about because that dad didn't
- 33:13Speaker 2: allow it. And then this son can't be allowed. So
- 33:15Speaker 2: we just get her mom on a lounge chair and
- 33:17Speaker 2: like a dog. It's just like, what about a friend of.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Who would she know?
- 33:22Speaker 2: Who is she friends with though?
- 33:24Speaker 1: Shannon.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Okay.
- 33:27Speaker 1: But I don't really believe just playing devil's advocate. I
- 33:29Speaker 1: hear you though. And I don't really think that's, I.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Don't think that's, I don't think Sharon's, you know, Sharon
- 33:34Speaker 2: can be nice to people and stuff. But who Shannon's
- 33:36Speaker 2: really gelling with and laughing with are women that are
- 33:40Speaker 2: a little more from her background.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Totally.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Not necessarily her age.
- 33:43Speaker 1: You need a natural chemistry.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Yeah. I get along with Shannon. We both went to USC.
- 33:49Speaker 2: We both are like that. We're both moms.
- 33:51Speaker 1: It's easy.
- 33:52Speaker 2: We're close in age. There's just something that works. And
- 33:56Speaker 2: I think when you try to all of a sudden
- 33:58Speaker 2: mix these casts, you have to go back to the
- 33:59Speaker 2: old ways and go, it was about a group of
- 34:01Speaker 2: women that were supposed to be friends, right? Now you're
- 34:04Speaker 2: individually casting people because you need to have this, you know,
- 34:08Speaker 2: particular demographic and this particular ethnicity. And I think that's
- 34:13Speaker 2: where some of these had some less popular seasons.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree. And you're touching on something so important,
- 34:20Speaker 1: which is casting.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Right.
- 34:22Speaker 1: And I think my experience out of all the shows,
- 34:26Speaker 1: I will say Orange County is the toughest one to cast.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Why?
- 34:29Speaker 1: Because look, Every other franchise has a giant city, a
- 34:33Speaker 1: giant group of pool of women to choose from and
- 34:36Speaker 1: to seek out. Orange County is a small community. We
- 34:39Speaker 1: don't have the pool of people to choose from, right?
- 34:42Speaker 1: So you're hitting on something really interesting. So they're trying
- 34:44Speaker 1: to bring in interesting people and have them gel. But
- 34:48Speaker 1: if it doesn't connect and the chemistry is not there,
- 34:49Speaker 1: it's not going to work. You're right. Because the formula
- 34:51Speaker 1: is a group of women who are authentically invested in
- 34:54Speaker 1: one another. And some of them who have been successfully
- 34:58Speaker 1: invested in one another have worked at it. while they're
- 35:01Speaker 1: on the show to get a deeper understanding of one another.
- 35:04Speaker 1: And if, if that works great, then it's worked. But
- 35:06Speaker 1: if not, then you're right. I agree with you on that.
- 35:08Speaker 1: I think that that's, it's time to move on. That's
- 35:10Speaker 1: why people are feeling nostalgic for old Orange County, which
- 35:15Speaker 1: is why there's rumors or buzzes around the cameras and
- 35:18Speaker 1: Alexis's and the Vicky's.
- 35:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:20Speaker 1: How many times I've received, you know, messages like bring
- 35:23Speaker 1: Vicky and Tamara back.
- 35:25Speaker 2: I mean, they are great on, they, they, they are
- 35:27Speaker 2: great on, um, I call it the Dorinda show, but
- 35:32Speaker 2: they are because like the way they're talking, like, like
- 35:35Speaker 2: just Vicki is, I'm remembering how like weird and funny
- 35:39Speaker 2: Vicki is, you know, where she's like, if I died today,
- 35:42Speaker 2: I don't hope that you would tell everybody that I
- 35:44Speaker 2: was sad. And they're like, what? That was on the
- 35:46Speaker 2: episode last night. And she's just like odd, but in
- 35:50Speaker 2: the best way.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Cause you want to talk, you want to talk about
- 35:53Speaker 1: her and you want to engage her. Cause she's funny.
- 35:55Speaker 1: She's quirky. She's unpredictable.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Right. Um, But also with OC, there's such incredible wealth
- 36:03Speaker 2: here too. And I think because the show's been on
- 36:07Speaker 2: so long, our latest housewife has pled guilty. She's looking
- 36:11Speaker 2: at 14 years. I do think people, whether the husband
- 36:16Speaker 2: is saying no way- Oh my gosh, all the time.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Or they're smart enough to say... So then the audience
- 36:20Speaker 2: at home sitting in their average home in the middle
- 36:23Speaker 2: of America are like, Did you see her countertop? She's
- 36:27Speaker 2: not rich enough to be on the show. And it's like, well,
- 36:28Speaker 2: what do you want? Like they can't get the super
- 36:31Speaker 2: rich because the super rich are not.
- 36:33Speaker 1: You're hitting something really important, which is we always run
- 36:35Speaker 1: into is the roadblock is the partner. Because when you
- 36:38Speaker 1: get on the show as a housewife, you are allowing
- 36:41Speaker 1: access to your whole family. That means your partner, your husband.
- 36:44Speaker 1: That means your children. And you said it, Noella, we
- 36:47Speaker 1: didn't really have access to her. And, you know, I've
- 36:49Speaker 1: had conversations with her. I'm like, look, you held an orange.
- 36:53Speaker 1: And we didn't really even have that much access to
- 36:54Speaker 1: your personal life. Like, that's an accomplishment. And she knows
- 36:57Speaker 1: that this was a victory for her. And she's looking
- 37:00Speaker 1: into other things, options as she moves forward.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Seeking arrangements, right?
- 37:04Speaker 1: Yeah, seeking arrangements. She's working... Yeah, she's... Yeah. I mean,
- 37:06Speaker 1: she's gonna... Hey.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Selling vibrators. What do you gotta do? What do you
- 37:09Speaker 2: gotta do?
- 37:09Speaker 1: And she loves that.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:11Speaker 1: So, good for her. Not so good for the rest
- 37:13Speaker 1: of the cast, right?
- 37:14Speaker 2: But... But, you know, like, I'm so... You know, I'm like...
- 37:17Speaker 2: I call myself the housewife consultant. I don't... I think...
- 37:21Speaker 2: One day I hope that like USC asked me to
- 37:23Speaker 2: like do one of those special classes, you know, how
- 37:24Speaker 2: they're doing like selling the Kardashians. I could absolutely do it.
- 37:27Speaker 2: And it's, I'm putting it out there in the universe.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Cause that would be a fun.
- 37:31Speaker 1: Great. Well, all these conversations you have with people that
- 37:33Speaker 1: have been in the industry, you have the information, you
- 37:36Speaker 1: got the tea.
- 37:37Speaker 2: I love it. Anyway. Um, so I, I felt my
- 37:41Speaker 2: teenage voice, 19 to 16. And I filmed the, there
- 37:44Speaker 2: was a challenge where you asked them like, what's a
- 37:46Speaker 2: floppy disk and see how much they know. So I
- 37:48Speaker 2: filmed them on TikTok. They've allowed me to start. I
- 37:50Speaker 2: never used to put them on there when they were little,
- 37:52Speaker 2: which I should have exploited them then. But I thought
- 37:55Speaker 2: that wasn't right when I was at Chelsea lately.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Oh, you had ethics back then.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Now I'm like, okay. So I filmed them and Annie
- 38:01Speaker 2: put this thing together. And I thought it was freaking
- 38:04Speaker 2: hilarious because at one point my older son is like,
- 38:08Speaker 2: I'm so sick of these stupid TikToks. Now I don't
- 38:09Speaker 2: know what a rotary phone is because I wasn't born
- 38:12Speaker 2: in 1970. And he says this. And I think it's hilarious,
- 38:15Speaker 2: you know, but I start to see a couple of
- 38:17Speaker 2: comments and some of them were like, he's so disrespectful.
- 38:20Speaker 2: He's this. So I told Annie, I go, can you
- 38:23Speaker 2: take it down until I talk to Drake? Because I
- 38:25Speaker 2: don't want Drake to see the comments and then be like, mom,
- 38:28Speaker 2: I don't want you to do this anymore.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:30Speaker 2: And I learned that from the housewives because I see
- 38:33Speaker 2: that like the one I always talk about is that, um,
- 38:37Speaker 2: Megan King, Edmund's stepdaughter was rude to her mother. Yes.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Who later passed of cancer.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Yep.
- 38:43Speaker 2: It was prom night. Girls can be bitchy about photos.
- 38:45Speaker 2: It was stressful. Not only is it prom night with
- 38:47Speaker 2: people taking photos, you've got the Orange County housewife's camera there.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Added stress.
- 38:53Speaker 2: You're so right.
- 38:53Speaker 1: And I asked her about.
- 38:54Speaker 2: That, Megan, and she said it was very hard for
- 38:57Speaker 2: her later to see that and to get the comments
- 39:00Speaker 2: and everything. Because I'm like, kids are bad. So anyway,
- 39:02Speaker 2: I told Drake, he goes, I don't give a shit.
- 39:04Speaker 2: Post it. Good.
- 39:06Speaker 4: Good.
- 39:06Speaker 2: But then I did write in the caption, I did say,
- 39:10Speaker 2: so you guys know. These boys were raised by a
- 39:13Speaker 2: raunchy female standup comic. I am fine with it. I
- 39:16Speaker 2: think it's fricking hilarious. This is our dynamic at our
- 39:20Speaker 2: home may not be yours, but they are not in
- 39:23Speaker 2: any way disrespectful to me in my opinion. Like, but
- 39:26Speaker 2: that's what you get when you put something out, you're going.
- 39:28Speaker 1: To get, they can't judge your relationship. with your own child,
- 39:31Speaker 1: but they can not feel like that would be something
- 39:33Speaker 1: that they would like for themselves. That's separate.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Yeah. And I also have to accept those comments because
- 39:37Speaker 2: I'm putting it out there. I'm enjoying when a million people.
- 39:40Speaker 1: You're starting a conversation. Isn't comedy supposed to be, you know, controversial.
- 39:44Speaker 2: But I do think about that. Cause I also think
- 39:45Speaker 2: about the other thing that I bring up all the
- 39:48Speaker 2: time was, um, When Gina Kino showed up at her
- 39:51Speaker 2: son's baseball game with Vicky and he was like, I'm
- 39:54Speaker 2: going to throw this bat at you or something. And
- 39:57Speaker 2: as someone at home, I think my boys were like
- 39:59Speaker 2: seven at the time. And it like, at one point
- 40:01Speaker 2: I'm like, I will not be Gina Kino. Like, and
- 40:05Speaker 2: I was like, wait a minute, this kid didn't know
- 40:06Speaker 2: they were showing up. Probably the stress of being like
- 40:09Speaker 2: 19 playing on like whatever junior league, minor league, whatever
- 40:13Speaker 2: it was.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Yep. And teenagers say that, but we don't see it
- 40:18Speaker 1: and we don't see it on TV.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Right.
- 40:20Speaker 1: And we don't see it, you know, out of context.
- 40:22Speaker 2: And that's where I'm always like, ooh, you know, when
- 40:24Speaker 2: you talk about the partner, including the partner and why
- 40:26Speaker 2: that's such a hurdle or not. It's huge. And why
- 40:30Speaker 2: the marriages break up. And I've gone on nauseam about why. Like,
- 40:33Speaker 2: I think, you know, I always say it's three things.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Either the wife's not happy with the husband and she
- 40:40Speaker 2: wants him to see, she wants the world to see
- 40:43Speaker 2: that he's mean.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Or she wants him to see that he's mean and
- 40:46Speaker 2: then hope that it'll be nice.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:49Speaker 2: But 99% of it is he's mean. The world sees it.
- 40:53Speaker 1: And he's not going to change.
- 40:54Speaker 2: And also all of a sudden, this guy who has
- 40:57Speaker 2: walked around the earth as a good looking, successful white man,
- 41:02Speaker 2: never had any trouble, is now getting all this comments
- 41:06Speaker 2: of like, you have a receding chin.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:08Speaker 2: You are a mean to your wife when she asked
- 41:10Speaker 2: you for coffee. Like, and then they come home and
- 41:13Speaker 2: they fight with their wife and then it was already
- 41:15Speaker 2: a cracked foundation.
- 41:17Speaker 4: Yep.
- 41:17Speaker 1: This was a catalyst. I think some people do. I
- 41:20Speaker 1: think they sign up knowing that, Hey, this is now
- 41:23Speaker 1: my platform.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:25Speaker 1: You have been sort of the driving force for so long,
- 41:28Speaker 1: but now this is my time.
- 41:30Speaker 2: Right.
- 41:30Speaker 1: And that creates a whole other level of tension on
- 41:32Speaker 1: top of everything that you just listed. And it's hard
- 41:35Speaker 1: because these cameras, your life is under a magnifying glass
- 41:39Speaker 1: and we're going to look for them. And a good
- 41:41Speaker 1: example is you were talking about making King Edmonds. Uh,
- 41:43Speaker 1: Jimmy Edmonds was delightful to work with.
- 41:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 41:47Speaker 1: You wouldn't know it, what you saw on camera. Very
- 41:50Speaker 1: interesting because he would be like, Hey guys, we're like,
- 41:52Speaker 1: what lens are you losing? What's that camera on this night?
- 41:53Speaker 1: He was so cool. So nice. And we got him
- 41:56Speaker 1: there and then the cameras would go on and they've
- 41:59Speaker 1: talked about this openly. Um, he had a certain hesitation
- 42:03Speaker 1: and it, it, it translated in a very weird way
- 42:06Speaker 1: and it affected their relationship, I think.
- 42:08Speaker 2: But, you know, she also told me when they were
- 42:11Speaker 2: still together and she, maybe she was on my show
- 42:13Speaker 2: before they were, they broke up and she said, well,
- 42:16Speaker 2: part of it was we'd already talked about the Puerto Rico, whatever,
- 42:20Speaker 2: Puerto Vallarta vacation. But then I was like, okay. I'm
- 42:24Speaker 2: going to bring this up again and ask you about
- 42:26Speaker 2: this again. So he was just like not an actor
- 42:29Speaker 2: and like annoyed, you know? So yeah.
- 42:31Speaker 1: Often annoyed.
- 42:31Speaker 2: Which is why do you also tell them, Hey, when
- 42:34Speaker 2: you come back from Mexico, don't talk to PK about
- 42:38Speaker 2: it until we come on Monday with the cameras so
- 42:41Speaker 2: that it's fresh. Yeah.
- 42:42Speaker 1: But then sometimes if you do that too, if you
- 42:44Speaker 1: prepare them too much or tip them off, then you know,
- 42:47Speaker 1: it might, you might not get the authentic reaction that
- 42:50Speaker 1: you want. It's very, you have to be very, um,
- 42:53Speaker 1: careful in how you interact with, with your cast because
- 42:58Speaker 1: you want it to be the most authentic reaction and
- 43:00Speaker 1: you want that.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Yes.
- 43:00Speaker 1: You want to save and you constantly are messaging and reminding,
- 43:03Speaker 1: please save your conversations. Sometimes the tough ones, people don't
- 43:06Speaker 1: want to have on camera because it's tough.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Right.
- 43:09Speaker 1: And it's uncomfortable and they don't know what the consequences are.
- 43:13Speaker 1: But you know, our job as producers is to get
- 43:16Speaker 1: them there and encourage them to do it. It's like, look, you've,
- 43:19Speaker 1: you've signed up for this, the tough, the good and
- 43:21Speaker 1: the bad. you have to open up because, you know, look,
- 43:24Speaker 1: you're doing great and we're showing, we can't just run
- 43:26Speaker 1: around town seeing you live your fabulous lifestyle. That's not enough.
- 43:30Speaker 1: You've got to let us in and show the cracks
- 43:32Speaker 1: because then when people watch these shows and they're rich
- 43:36Speaker 1: and glamorous and beautiful and they have the lifestyle and
- 43:38Speaker 1: then they fuck up and they trip and you want
- 43:41Speaker 1: to see them dust themselves off and get back up.
- 43:43Speaker 1: That's what's relatable because they're like, oh my God, they're
- 43:45Speaker 1: not as perfect as anybody else. They're just like me.
- 43:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:49Speaker 1: And you have to show that. And it's like, I think,
- 43:52Speaker 1: one of the challenges with some people on these shows
- 43:55Speaker 1: is they don't want that. They want the platform. They
- 43:58Speaker 1: want to just show their lifestyle and that's it. You know,
- 44:00Speaker 1: you know, like there's cigarette, you know, after and, you know,
- 44:03Speaker 1: fill their glass up, but you've got to let people in.
- 44:07Speaker 1: Viewers are too smart. They can smell the bullshit. You've
- 44:10Speaker 1: got to open up. You've got to let them see
- 44:12Speaker 1: the cracks in your facade and see inside there. You
- 44:16Speaker 1: have to be vulnerable. If you're not, then this may
- 44:18Speaker 1: be not the right place for you.
- 44:21Speaker 2: And I've, um, I've often like referred to as like
- 44:24Speaker 2: the housewives are the female version of football and this
- 44:28Speaker 2: is the all-stars and they're getting traded and this and that.
- 44:31Speaker 2: Do you kind of feel like, I just realized this,
- 44:33Speaker 2: like you're like a coach.
- 44:34Speaker 1: Yes. A hundred percent.
- 44:35Speaker 2: You're a little bit of coach of encouraging them. And then,
- 44:38Speaker 2: but are you also a coach in the sense that
- 44:40Speaker 2: you're telling more than one player, you're the reason this
- 44:44Speaker 2: team is in the all-stars?
- 44:45Speaker 1: Some of them know. That you're coaching the others and
- 44:48Speaker 1: some of them don't and that's okay. But they know
- 44:50Speaker 1: that my job as the executive producer is to keep
- 44:54Speaker 1: the whole team, to use the metaphor, the analogy, and
- 44:59Speaker 1: keep it moving. It's a ship, right? And I have
- 45:01Speaker 1: to keep it going. And I think honesty is the
- 45:05Speaker 1: best ingredient for someone in my position. You can't tell
- 45:09Speaker 1: everyone everything, but you can tell them, look, you know
- 45:10Speaker 1: I can't tell you everything, but I can tell you this.
- 45:13Speaker 1: And if you don't get your opinion out or your
- 45:15Speaker 1: thoughts out right now, there could be consequences for that.
- 45:20Speaker 1: You give them a heads up. And if it's the
- 45:21Speaker 1: right thing, like I would never encourage someone to do
- 45:23Speaker 1: something that they're not comfortable with or they don't feel
- 45:25Speaker 1: good about, right? Like I will give them suggestions, but
- 45:29Speaker 1: they have to own it once I give it to you.
- 45:31Speaker 1: And they know that. Every producer has a different approach,
- 45:33Speaker 1: but I think the right approach is you say, listen,
- 45:36Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you what, Heather, I think this
- 45:38Speaker 1: is what you need to do right now because you're
- 45:40Speaker 1: not seeing it clearly. This, this, and this is happening
- 45:43Speaker 1: around you. And you have to make a decision right now.
- 45:45Speaker 1: If you don't agree with me, that's fine. So what's your,
- 45:48Speaker 1: you know, do you have a solution? Because I'm all ears.
- 45:51Speaker 1: And then we, there's a negotiation that happens. And then
- 45:53Speaker 1: we come up with a solution. Hopefully, it doesn't work
- 45:56Speaker 1: all the time, you know, because they're on the show
- 45:58Speaker 1: for a reason. And if they're stubborn, if they don't
- 46:00Speaker 1: want to listen to you, then that's part of their,
- 46:02Speaker 1: that's their jam. That's their deal.
- 46:05Speaker 2: The music video at the end of this season.
- 46:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:08Speaker 2: Was that your idea? To have a music video. A
- 46:12Speaker 2: lot of people thought that was a moment.
- 46:13Speaker 1: We'll go back with the band. It was the band.
- 46:16Speaker 2: It wasn't a band. Oh, it was a band.
- 46:18Speaker 1: It was a band. But it was shot like a
- 46:20Speaker 1: music video. That was what we did in the edit bay.
- 46:23Speaker 2: They did a band at the party and they came
- 46:24Speaker 2: up with a song that, what's his name, wrote or
- 46:28Speaker 2: his wife, Daisy Fuentes wrote it.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Richard Marks.
- 46:33Speaker 2: I thought it was so cheesy, but a lot of
- 46:35Speaker 2: my fans were like, a lot of my listeners were
- 46:36Speaker 2: saying like, I can't get the song out of my head.
- 46:39Speaker 1: Yes, that's what we wanted.
- 46:40Speaker 2: I thought it was a weird, quirky, like, did it
- 46:43Speaker 2: jump the shark? But I couldn't take my eyes off
- 46:46Speaker 2: of it. Good.
- 46:46Speaker 1: I agree with you. I thought it was cheesy and corny,
- 46:49Speaker 1: but we loved it and we didn't want to shy
- 46:51Speaker 1: away from that.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:52Speaker 1: And I think, you know, it was also the perfect
- 46:55Speaker 1: opportunity to bring some of these, you know, segregated group,
- 46:59Speaker 1: this group, this divided group together because you want to
- 47:03Speaker 1: see that. You do want to see that. It was
- 47:05Speaker 1: getting a little ugly sometimes. and dark in ways I think,
- 47:09Speaker 1: and people were feeling it and this felt like the
- 47:11Speaker 1: right solution. And the women came up with it. This
- 47:13Speaker 1: was not my idea. This was not a producer idea.
- 47:16Speaker 1: This was Shannon coming up, just like you saw on
- 47:19Speaker 1: the show, coming up with the idea to have a
- 47:21Speaker 1: rack and roll, not rock and roll, rack and roll.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Cause she cooks ribs. And, and then she turned to
- 47:27Speaker 1: Heather last minute and was like, can you help me
- 47:28Speaker 1: with this? And Heather pulled it off that, you know,
- 47:30Speaker 1: they collaborated in a meaningful way.
- 47:32Speaker 2: Heather can sing.
- 47:34Speaker 1: So good.
- 47:34Speaker 2: She sang at Tamara's wedding, which I went to Tamara's wedding.
- 47:38Speaker 1: Um, she sang at the angels to the national anthem.
- 47:41Speaker 1: She was incredible. I'm like, can you please sing on
- 47:43Speaker 1: the show?
- 47:44Speaker 2: She's a good singer. So that was good.
- 47:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 47:46Speaker 1: Now we're going to, so I wanted to do, can
- 47:48Speaker 1: I just say real quick, I wanted to do a
- 47:49Speaker 1: music video with them. We didn't have the budget. We
- 47:52Speaker 1: didn't have the time or anything like that, but I
- 47:54Speaker 1: told them in my, my idea was, um, and I,
- 47:58Speaker 1: hopefully I still get to do it, but how fun
- 47:59Speaker 1: would it be to see them? just in their kitchens
- 48:02Speaker 1: at home being housewives. And then when the chorus hits,
- 48:06Speaker 1: they come out the door and they rip off whatever
- 48:09Speaker 1: housewife clothing they're wearing and they're like alter ego, right?
- 48:12Speaker 1: They're like in black leather. They're in the characters that
- 48:14Speaker 1: we saw kind of at the end. And then they
- 48:17Speaker 1: all come together on the beach, classic Orange County moment
- 48:19Speaker 1: when they're just, all I want is you, all I
- 48:21Speaker 1: want is you. Be beautiful, be easy to do. I'm
- 48:24Speaker 1: still available to shoot that music video for you.
- 48:27Speaker 2: Well, okay, so... So is, um, so did that incident
- 48:33Speaker 2: with Heather have, do you think have anything to do
- 48:35Speaker 2: with you, um, being asked to take a pause?
- 48:37Speaker 1: I think, you know, I, I would like to think
- 48:41Speaker 1: that no cast member wields that kind of power to
- 48:43Speaker 1: hire or fire producers. That's Bravo's decision. That's the production
- 48:47Speaker 1: company's decision and they collaborate.
- 48:49Speaker 2: Um, I do think other people would combat that with,
- 48:52Speaker 2: by saying people that like me, they've been fans. There's
- 48:54Speaker 2: certain housewives that just like, just like movie stars in
- 48:58Speaker 2: traditional TV have more power than others.
- 49:03Speaker 1: I think some are more influential.
- 49:04Speaker 2: Vanderpump, Bethany, and maybe even Heather.
- 49:07Speaker 1: So like, yeah, I would agree with that. I think there,
- 49:09Speaker 1: but I think it's fair.
- 49:10Speaker 2: I think if you have multiple shows or, you know,
- 49:14Speaker 2: that type of thing, you're going to candy, you're going
- 49:17Speaker 2: to have a little more say as you would like,
- 49:20Speaker 2: everyone always asks like, why did I get this? I'm like, well,
- 49:23Speaker 2: or why did this person get paid more?
- 49:25Speaker 1: Yeah. There's a hierarchy. Yeah.
- 49:27Speaker 2: And in movies too, like, Did you have the best agent?
- 49:30Speaker 2: Do you have a history of more movies on the
- 49:32Speaker 2: back end? You are going to make more than your
- 49:34Speaker 2: female counterpart. Like it's not, you're not all working at
- 49:38Speaker 2: a factory making chocolates. Like it's not the same thing.
- 49:42Speaker 4: It's true.
- 49:42Speaker 2: So.
- 49:44Speaker 1: And I will say this. Heather is amazing. She's very, she's, she's,
- 49:50Speaker 1: she's admitted that she's very controlling. She said that. And
- 49:53Speaker 1: I told her, then let us see more of that.
- 49:57Speaker 1: That gives a vulnerability, right? And I think that I
- 50:01Speaker 1: fought really hard to tell her personal story. And I
- 50:05Speaker 1: think we had some really beautiful moments with her family.
- 50:09Speaker 1: And I would like to think that she respects that
- 50:13Speaker 1: and appreciates that. And she's told me that. But I
- 50:15Speaker 1: also know that she's very particular. And, you know, I
- 50:19Speaker 1: would hate to think that she was not, you know,
- 50:23Speaker 1: happy with the... the blood, sweat, and tears that I
- 50:26Speaker 1: put into this franchise for many, many years, and many
- 50:28Speaker 1: years when she wasn't around. And it mattered a lot
- 50:31Speaker 1: to me. And it's hard to step away from something.
- 50:33Speaker 1: This has been my life. I've bought a house from
- 50:37Speaker 1: the money I've made from working on this show, and
- 50:39Speaker 1: I've built a career. I'm here talking to you because
- 50:41Speaker 1: of my resume. So it matters to me. And it
- 50:45Speaker 1: would really hurt me to think that she disliked me
- 50:49Speaker 1: so much that she wanted me gone. And maybe that was, uh,
- 50:53Speaker 1: she was using that as leverage to whether she would
- 50:55Speaker 1: come back to the show or not. That is a
- 50:57Speaker 1: very cynical take on the things, but I know that's
- 51:00Speaker 1: been out there, put out there. I would like to
- 51:02Speaker 1: think that that's not true because Heather is, she is
- 51:06Speaker 1: a really lovely person and she's very talented. Um, I
- 51:09Speaker 1: would like to see her open more, open up more
- 51:12Speaker 1: on the show and be vulnerable and, Um, and I think,
- 51:15Speaker 1: I really do think we accomplished a lot this season
- 51:17Speaker 1: and I think, you know, next season you're going to see,
- 51:21Speaker 1: you're going to see more of her. And I'd like
- 51:22Speaker 1: to think that I was a big part of that.
- 51:24Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, a lot of, a lot of moms are,
- 51:27Speaker 2: a lot of women are that controlling person. A lot
- 51:29Speaker 2: of people are laissez faire. It doesn't like be both,
- 51:32Speaker 2: you know, or you, I mean, you can't really be both.
- 51:34Speaker 2: There's people that are successful being both.
- 51:37Speaker 1: You know, and they're high anxiety. There's a lot of
- 51:39Speaker 1: highly successful people who are highly anxiety. They're controlling. I'm
- 51:43Speaker 1: not saying this about Heather, but some of them fight
- 51:46Speaker 1: depression and they hold it together beautifully because they're driven.
- 51:48Speaker 1: I think she is a very driven, ambitious person and
- 51:51Speaker 1: she wants things perfect. I don't blame her. This is
- 51:53Speaker 1: a very messy forum. You have to be willing to
- 51:57Speaker 1: get messy. You have to be willing to reveal yourself,
- 52:00Speaker 1: like I was saying earlier, and be vulnerable. That's what
- 52:04Speaker 1: people want to see. Let it go.
- 52:05Speaker 2: Let's talk about the other juiciest thing that happened during
- 52:08Speaker 2: your time, Brooke's cancer, the fake cancer.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Season 10.
- 52:12Speaker 2: What, what, what were you guys thinking about when it,
- 52:15Speaker 2: people started to suspect because we, in the beginning, we
- 52:18Speaker 2: saw that Shannon was amazing. It's a very Shannon. Is
- 52:22Speaker 2: that also that type of woman? This is also a
- 52:24Speaker 2: Jill Zarin that knows doctors that will get you in
- 52:27Speaker 2: the school that, you know, like I'm friends with both
- 52:30Speaker 2: of them and they are like that. And so like,
- 52:32Speaker 2: I can totally see that Shannon right away was like,
- 52:35Speaker 2: I know someone at Hogue or whatever.
- 52:38Speaker 1: And a hundred percent. And then was like, she knows
- 52:40Speaker 1: someone everywhere, by the way. Yeah. Well, yeah.
- 52:42Speaker 2: Someone like her would, you know, and, and be that
- 52:45Speaker 2: helpful person. And so when this started to come about,
- 52:48Speaker 2: I mean, was it really Megan who cracked the case?
- 52:51Speaker 1: I think she started it for sure. And she was
- 52:53Speaker 1: the one willing to say something and she did it
- 52:57Speaker 1: on camera because she was, that's who she was.
- 53:01Speaker 2: And what did you guys feel about when the casserole
- 53:02Speaker 2: thing came about that? It was like, We still don't know.
- 53:07Speaker 2: What is your opinion? There's three pools, three things of thought.
- 53:12Speaker 2: Vicky knew from the start and was like, nobody likes you, Brooks.
- 53:16Speaker 2: We're going to do this thing together. I don't think
- 53:18Speaker 2: that's the case. The other one was completely blindsided with
- 53:22Speaker 2: the rest, you know, with everybody else. I think it's
- 53:26Speaker 2: in the middle where I think she started to suspect
- 53:29Speaker 2: and wonder. Maybe she never had a straight out conversation
- 53:32Speaker 2: with him.
- 53:33Speaker 1: I think that's fair.
- 53:34Speaker 2: But she knew it wasn't true. And now it's too far.
- 53:37Speaker 1: I think that's probably fair.
- 53:38Speaker 2: It's too far in doing it, you know? And now like,
- 53:40Speaker 2: oh fuck. So now I'm going to push it a
- 53:42Speaker 2: little further and be like, I'm being nailed to the cross.
- 53:44Speaker 2: Why are you guys telling, you know, why won't you
- 53:46Speaker 2: just be on my side? I expected a casserole. I
- 53:48Speaker 2: didn't expect an interrogation, you know? But then, because I
- 53:52Speaker 2: don't think she thought about the implication of lying about
- 53:57Speaker 2: cancer and what that means to everybody on this earth
- 54:00Speaker 2: that either had cancer or Or knew someone who, and
- 54:03Speaker 2: everybody knows someone who had cancer. Everybody on this earth
- 54:06Speaker 2: knows someone who has suffered with cancer. So it was like,
- 54:10Speaker 2: how do you lie about it? And since that, there's
- 54:12Speaker 2: been so many other stories and stuff about people doing
- 54:16Speaker 2: the Munchausens and lying about it and getting attention. And
- 54:19Speaker 2: here you're on a show.
- 54:20Speaker 1: Where- With Yolanda Hadid on Beverly Hills.
- 54:23Speaker 2: And people come after me for that, but I questioned
- 54:27Speaker 2: that one too.
- 54:27Speaker 1: Yeah, a lot of people did.
- 54:29Speaker 4: I know.
- 54:29Speaker 2: And I still kind of do, but whatever, come after me.
- 54:31Speaker 2: But it's like, you know, you get all these people
- 54:36Speaker 2: and they aren't Ethel and Lucy's. They all see themselves
- 54:39Speaker 2: as Lucy's. They all see themselves as, you know, type,
- 54:43Speaker 2: you know, I'm the star.
- 54:44Speaker 1: The one in control.
- 54:45Speaker 2: And they want the attention.
- 54:46Speaker 1: Yes.
- 54:46Speaker 2: They all say, oh, you're thirsty. You're all thirsty.
- 54:49Speaker 1: Yeah. That's why you're here.
- 54:50Speaker 2: I said every normal housewife that's not on TV that
- 54:52Speaker 2: has more than 300 Instagram followers is thirsty.
- 54:55Speaker 1: Andy said it to Heather at the reunion. She's like,
- 54:58Speaker 1: you called me a narcissist. He's like, well, yeah, we're
- 55:00Speaker 1: all narcissists. That's why we're on the couch here. That's
- 55:03Speaker 1: the thing. Be self-aware.
- 55:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:05Speaker 2: Not everyone's a narcissist, but do you want attention and fame?
- 55:08Speaker 2: Do you like the attention?
- 55:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:10Speaker 2: That doesn't mean you're a bad person.
- 55:11Speaker 1: No.
- 55:12Speaker 2: This whole thirsty.
- 55:13Speaker 1: It's part of our business.
- 55:14Speaker 2: So when that was going down, like just talk to
- 55:16Speaker 2: me a little bit.
- 55:17Speaker 1: Oh my God, it was phenomenal. I have to say
- 55:18Speaker 1: this was- It was the juiciest season of all seasons.
- 55:20Speaker 1: It was really, really good. And it was my first
- 55:22Speaker 1: season on the show. I met Shannon. I was at
- 55:25Speaker 1: the moment where she and David were at marriage bootcamp.
- 55:28Speaker 2: Right.
- 55:29Speaker 1: And they did the- Funeral. Sort of the funeral. And
- 55:32Speaker 1: they were reading the eulogies and I was dying. Were
- 55:36Speaker 1: you like crying inside of your mouth or what? I'm like,
- 55:40Speaker 1: this is the best job ever. Like I have arrived, right?
- 55:43Speaker 1: Because it was my first season. And I had just
- 55:45Speaker 1: come off of season five of Beverly Hills and it
- 55:48Speaker 1: rotated because the production company does both.
- 55:50Speaker 2: Yes.
- 55:50Speaker 1: So I was like, oh my God, my life is
- 55:51Speaker 1: so great right now. And I remember Shannon going outside
- 55:53Speaker 1: and she was with David in the car and she
- 55:55Speaker 1: was like, you know what? We have the IFBs and
- 55:56Speaker 1: we can hear it. She goes, I love Thomas. He's
- 56:00Speaker 1: my favorite. And there was a walkie in the car
- 56:04Speaker 1: and I was like, copy that Shannon. Thank you. And
- 56:07Speaker 1: she died because she didn't know I could hear her.
- 56:09Speaker 1: And she just like erupted.
- 56:10Speaker 2: She's like, ah!
- 56:11Speaker 1: You know, that crazy, like fun Shannon. And that was
- 56:14Speaker 1: the beginning of a long relationship there and watching her.
- 56:16Speaker 1: But I have to say, okay, so back to your,
- 56:18Speaker 1: your point. About the cancer stuff. This is the thing
- 56:21Speaker 1: it was happening And then everyone was rolling their eyes
- 56:23Speaker 1: on our end and production a lot of producers are
- 56:25Speaker 1: like what what's happening? Is this real? This is gross.
- 56:28Speaker 2: So they believe that he did have cancer.
- 56:30Speaker 1: No, we didn't we didn't we thought that the the
- 56:33Speaker 1: speculation was gross Oh, like why we like at first
- 56:37Speaker 1: right because I think a lot of viewers did yeah
- 56:39Speaker 1: as you're watching it unfold But we we literally were
- 56:42Speaker 1: at a point where some people on the team were
- 56:45Speaker 1: saying we need to move away from this This is
- 56:47Speaker 1: gross This is not good, but our job is to
- 56:51Speaker 1: follow what happens on camera. So we stuck with it
- 56:53Speaker 1: because the ladies didn't stop. They didn't stop investigating. They
- 56:57Speaker 1: didn't stop inquiring and they didn't stop holding Vicki and
- 57:00Speaker 1: Brooks accountable. And it ended up, what season of Housewives
- 57:04Speaker 1: have you ever seen where there's one storyline that is
- 57:07Speaker 1: that riveting that makes like one of the best seasons ever?
- 57:11Speaker 1: Not many.
- 57:12Speaker 2: I think that might be the only one. I mean,
- 57:14Speaker 2: I'm just trying to think that there's, Yeah. That there's
- 57:17Speaker 2: literally just an A story. There isn't a B, a
- 57:19Speaker 2: C or D.
- 57:20Speaker 1: And you just couldn't get enough of it. And then
- 57:22Speaker 1: the printout from Hogue and they're looking at, Tamara's looking
- 57:26Speaker 1: at the type and she's like, this looks like it's
- 57:28Speaker 1: edited here. There was stuff that was mind blowing. So
- 57:31Speaker 1: we were along for the ride too. That's the same
- 57:33Speaker 1: thing as the Nicole James thing. We're just here documenting this.
- 57:37Speaker 1: You guys are doing this, not us. We have nothing
- 57:39Speaker 1: to do with it. And This is riveting. So we're
- 57:41Speaker 1: just going to keep following it. Does anybody else want
- 57:43Speaker 1: to talk about this? Okay, let's get the cameras over here.
- 57:47Speaker 2: Go.
- 57:47Speaker 1: What do you have for us now? It was so incredible.
- 57:50Speaker 2: And did Brooks ever try to come after you guys?
- 57:53Speaker 2: Like you ruined my life.
- 57:55Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, look, people always, they send
- 58:00Speaker 1: their lawyers with their letters and their threats all the
- 58:03Speaker 1: time in this business. And the thing is, is, you know,
- 58:06Speaker 1: like we do, we sign NDAs. And they sign an
- 58:09Speaker 1: appearance release and it's a legal document and we're allowed
- 58:11Speaker 1: to do what we want to do. You know, the
- 58:13Speaker 1: hard thing is, is when somebody is no longer on
- 58:15Speaker 1: the show, like, you know, if like, you know, there's
- 58:17Speaker 1: a marriage split or something and the, and the ex
- 58:19Speaker 1: doesn't want to sign for the kids. That's where it
- 58:21Speaker 1: gets really hard. And you know, and the housewife's like, please.
- 58:24Speaker 1: And they're like, I hate you. I don't want to
- 58:25Speaker 1: be a part of your world anymore.
- 58:27Speaker 2: I was, yeah, I was fine with our kid being
- 58:28Speaker 2: on it before, but now because I know it's important
- 58:30Speaker 2: to you.
- 58:31Speaker 1: Hell no, because now I have leverage.
- 58:32Speaker 2: Yeah. And then I always, I always feel bad for
- 58:34Speaker 2: those housewives, like a, like Brandy.
- 58:38Speaker 1: Could you imagine if we had access to Brandy's personal life?
- 58:41Speaker 2: Because I know Brandy as a mom and a boy
- 58:45Speaker 2: mom and stuff. And I relate to that.
- 58:47Speaker 1: What a side we would have seen from her because
- 58:50Speaker 1: she was always so big. But to see a softer side,
- 58:53Speaker 1: to see the motherly side.
- 58:54Speaker 2: She said that. She always said that she was bummed
- 58:56Speaker 2: because she is the mom that's making the tacos for
- 58:59Speaker 2: the kids and joking with them. And I have a
- 59:01Speaker 2: similar relationship with my son. So I'm like, God, if
- 59:04Speaker 2: that was never shown, then of course people are like,
- 59:06Speaker 2: They'd be like, that drunk Heather always out doing standup,
- 59:09Speaker 2: drinking with her friends. Well, that's all you can show
- 59:10Speaker 2: in my life.
- 59:11Speaker 1: That's all you see of me. Yeah.
- 59:12Speaker 2: That's all you can see of my life.
- 59:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 59:13Speaker 2: Like that's not, yeah. So I, but I understand why.
- 59:17Speaker 1: And that was a hard thing for Noella too. Yeah.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Anybody that you're dealing with in that situation. It's like,
- 59:21Speaker 1: cause as producers, you want to see all the different
- 59:24Speaker 1: sides of them.
- 59:24Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 59:24Speaker 1: Not just one, but that was hard with Brandy, especially.
- 59:27Speaker 1: When are her kids turning 18? Because- Maybe she's back
- 59:30Speaker 1: in the mix.
- 59:30Speaker 2: I think the older one must be 18 because they're
- 59:32Speaker 2: very close to my kid's age.
- 59:33Speaker 1: Let's see what happens.
- 59:35Speaker 2: You think she might be back in the mix?
- 59:36Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know. I'm just saying like when
- 59:38Speaker 1: you don't have to rely on the ex.
- 59:40Speaker 2: So you worked on, okay, so then you worked on
- 59:43Speaker 2: Beverly Hills. Yep.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Five, six, and seven. I was the co-executive.
- 59:46Speaker 2: Producer on that show. And that was Amsterdam. Oh. Oh,
- 59:52Speaker 2: Brandy's kids are 19 and 15.
- 59:54Speaker 1: 19 and 15. Okay. So if the other one, a
- 59:56Speaker 1: couple years.
- 59:56Speaker 2: I did see the 19 year old for a second
- 59:58Speaker 2: as she's packing to go to Dorinda's. So if she
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: was to come back on the show, I don't know
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: if the, I don't, I think the kid goes to college,
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: but I don't think he goes to, I think he's
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: in California.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Do you think that her appearance on the ultimate girl's
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: trip is a good calling card to maybe getting back in?
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: I do.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: I mean, I think they're using these little spinoffs as
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: a tester. That's why I think there's a lot of
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: rumblings about Tamra coming back to the OC.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: Because, you know, I haven't seen it yet, but you
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: can tell me she's probably great on it. She does
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: her job. Yeah.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: No, she's good.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: She's funny. And the trips are the best. Anyway, it's
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: a brilliant concept.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: It really is. And then, yeah, with that one, Dorinda
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: is really horrible. Definitely has an alcohol problem. It's very obvious.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: And at one point, Brandy goes, I'm telling you, what
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: I kind of like is they can break the fourth wall.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: They're talking about being ex-housewives.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: Yeah, they have to, right?
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: And she goes, Dorinda, I'm telling you, you're being really messy.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: And if you think you're ever going to get ass back,
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: you're not if you continue to drink every night and
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: be a bitch. She basically said that. It's interesting. She goes,
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: because I've been there and it didn't work in my favor.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: So I'm telling you. And then, of course, Dorinda's like...
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: drink that much when I don't have people at this
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: I'm really kind of an anti-social person alright we get
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: it but like yeah I mean I hope she comes
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: back and part of her journey you know should be
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: let people address that you know because clearly yes I
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: don't think she's an alcoholic but does she have a
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: drinking problem yes yeah you know 12 drinks in a
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: day is a drinking problem like saying weird mean things
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: is a problem it doesn't mean you can never drink
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: again but you gotta admit like I've had one too
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: many nights in my 57 years that are not um
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: something I'm proud of. And she even said, I had
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: the morning after, uh, paranoia and, and, and anxiety after drinking.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: And I'm like, yeah, that's a telltale sign of some
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: things going on.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Like it's an issue. I'm not saying it's, you know,
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: full blown rehab, but it's an issue.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: And, but that's what we also like to see, you know,
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: we do.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: We want to see how they, they cope, how they
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: manage and you want to root for them. You want
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: them to do well. You want them to be able
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: to have a few drinks and not go too far.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: Dow, do you think Kim will ever come back on
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: Beverly Hills?
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: I love her. Uh, she, you know, no, but I
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: think the brilliant thing about her role is coming in
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: and out or, you know, dipping in and out, like
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: as making some appearances. I love her in that, that role.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: We're, what was more horrifying? Um, the fact that she
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: was dating that guy that she met down in her mailbox,
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: that she thought she was pregnant or that she accused, uh, um,
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: Kyle is stealing her house. I mean, they were all
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: like amazing moments.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: She just delivers amazing moment after the other. And if
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: I could tell you the things that happened behind the
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: scenes with her, she is a riot. She is hilarious.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: People always show that clip of her making the chicken
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: salad with her hands while her daughter's getting her makeup
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: done for like the prom or something.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: She's truly original. She's truly unique.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Well, it's like, what we love about those is that
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: they have this history.
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: You can't shake that.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: And a Beverly Hills history, a child star history, a
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: single mom history, several husband history. Like, it's so juicy.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: It's a 12-layer juicy cake. Kyle, Kim, and Kathy are just,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: they're gold. And it is fascinating. You're right, because it
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: goes deep. It's so layered. And there's way more than
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: we'll ever see. And we're getting enough. To wet the
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: palette on the show.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: I had someone send me many years ago. It was
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: on YouTube. It's gone now. Kim, Kyle, and Kathy did
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: their own sizzle reel for their own reality show. Were
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: you ever privy to this?
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: I'd love to see that.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: No. I actually was like, someone needs to tell Kyle
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: to get this removed. It was so... They're at Kathy's house,
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: I think. And they're making lunch and they're going to
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: go down around Beverly Hills and give lunches to homeless
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: people and ask them if they would like to get
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: a manicure and pedicure.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: Oh my God. Oh my God. Is it super actor-y?
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: They probably scripted it out. No, it was just uncomfortable.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: It was weird.
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: And Kim is like, what would you like to do?
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: Would you like to learn about computers?
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Oh my God, you sound like her.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: That's really good. And it was like 15 years ago
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: and I'm like, this woman is clearly, you know, mentally off. She's,
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: and then, you know, and then I'm like, wait, you're
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: taking these people off the street to the pedicure place.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: Like maybe the pedicure place, they're going to be like, wait,
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: hold on a minute. Like, you know, like it was so.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Are they aware that you're doing this?
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: The cameraman who's filming it is like a heavy breather.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: Oh, you can hear him breathing. You're like, is that
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: a stylistic choice for this presentation?
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: Beverly Hills. that's what I want. And I was like,
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: Oh my God, this is amazing. Um, but what do
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: you think that the scene of Lisa Rinna breaking the glass,
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: what were you guys thinking? That was all about when
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: Kim said, let's talk about the husband.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: We had just arrived in Amsterdam. That was our first
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: day filming. So we were settling in because you know,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: we usually, these trips are typically three to four days, five,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: if we're lucky. Um, they're getting smaller and smaller each
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: year because they want more and more and more. Um, anyway,
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: but we had just arrived. We were settling in. We
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: have our video village where the monitors are and we're
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: all watching the producers or, you know, to chatting and seeing,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: watching what's going on. And when she did that and
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Eileen was like, um, beast, right?
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: The beast.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: No, she said something like now, wait a minute or something.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: She's like, I've had enough of you, you beast. And
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: then Eileen goes, beast, beast.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: How dare you?
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: I mean, it was so epic. And I love Eileen.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Her reaction is just so good. That was one of
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: the most iconic moments, I think, in Housewife history. We literally,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: and then Kyle gets up and runs down the street.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: It was so dramatic. We're laughing. I mean, it's terrible. But,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: you know, it's like we're watching a movie. We're watching
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: TV right there. But we have to be in the moment.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: We have to, like, continue producing them, right? So we're, like,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: laughing and pulling our shit together as producers. And we're like,
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: I looked at my producer colleague, and I was like,
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: we got it. I'm like, we can pack up and
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: go home now. Like we've got it. The trip is
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: in the can and it just kept going. And it
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: was so brilliant.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: Well, now what do you, why do you think she
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: was so compelled to why that was so such a
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: trigger to Lisa? People have so many theories of when
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: she'll let's talk about the husband. The one was he's gay. Um,
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: I never believed that too. I introduced Lisa.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: There's no reason to believe it, right?
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: I think it's because he did a movie 20 years
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: ago that was very controversial at the time.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: What a great actor.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: Where he played a gay man, which that's acting. Yeah.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: It's called acting.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Yeah. Good for him. And he's willing to do it
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: and be an A-list actor to do that at that time.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: He's a trailblazer.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: I want to say it was like 30 years ago.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: It was so long ago.
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: And it was a very like, Ooh, like, Oh my God,
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: this guy's married, but he realized he's going to go
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: forward with his feelings for this man.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: So juicy. And then, so I'm like, is that what
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: she's talking about? Then I thought Brandy just put it in,
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: no offense, but dum-dum Kim's ear.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Well, that's a thing, right?
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: I didn't know if that was it. Then there's a
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: rumor that he had an affair with this actress who
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: accused him of physically assaulting her. There's that rumor out there.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: Just a rumor.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: Or she just said it because she was just.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: Trying to irritate her.
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: And then- And then Lisa being a soap star her
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: whole life who probably has broken fake glasses.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: We should see the footage. She probably has, you know, like, yeah,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: you know, um, if you, she knew exactly what she.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: Was doing, TV sets, bottles, you know, you always see
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: like an old Western, a bottle breaks on your head.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Now imagine if you really.
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: Took a real glass and hit it on someone's head,
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: it wouldn't break.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: So I think she's break their head probably.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: And then the glass goes and it's like dramatic, but
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: I'm like.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: She was triggered. She was triggered because this is the thing, right?
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: And this is what we always tell, tell everyone. If
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: don't engage, if someone's trying to get your, is it
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: to get your goad, right? If someone's trying to get
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: your goad, don't let it, don't fall for it. Because
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: if you do, then people are going to think that
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: there's some validity to whatever accusation they're making. Why would
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: you respond like that?
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: Isn't there also in your brain?
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: But she's tough.
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: Also, yes, react because it's going to make great TV.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: And that's what everybody wants. The people at home.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: She has a natural instinct for that, doesn't she?
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: She's very good at that. And I think that she's
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: willing to respond in a big way.
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Because that's who she's become as who she is as
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: a person. Yeah. And yes. And she's not afraid to
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: do it when the cameras are there. So yeah, I
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: think it's a combination of all that. But I don't know.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: It's it's just like phenomenal when you see that you're like,
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: what just happened?
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: And then you also worked on.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Dallas, Dallas season three. Oh, that was fun. I love
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: those gals.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: So we had Leanne Brandy, Deandra Cameron. What was going
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: on in that season?
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: That was Thailand. No, no, we went to, um, Denmark.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: We went to Copenhagen and they all dressed up and, uh, yeah.
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: Got naked in that thing.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Yeah. Got naked.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: Why do you think Dallas just didn't really make it?
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: You know, I really thought that season, I enjoyed it
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: so much. And I thought this is such a dynamic
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: group of women. It's interesting. They're Southern, you know, they're, uh, eclectic.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: I think that, well, it got a little, it got
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: a little, it started going in the sort of like,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: you know, the, um, the tough waters of like racism
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: and not being open-minded and, I think that these are
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: natural growing pains for like where we are as a society.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: You know, I think it happened on New York.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: I think it's happening on other franchises.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: And I said, you know, everybody at that.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: Kelly Dodd season last season 15. Yeah. Um, we didn't
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: shy away from black lives matter because Brahman was engaged
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: and I was like, and they were like, can we
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: talk about this? I'm like, yes, you can. Is this
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: part of your world? Is this your reality? Then we
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: need to talk about it.
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: Well, I, I was saying, you know, people like, Oh,
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: I don't want to see this. I'm like, Well, six
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: months ago when they were filming it, you were talking
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: about this with your girlfriends at lunch. We all were.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: That's what was happening.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: It's a reflection of our culture, and I think we
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: need to keep that going. I think there's growing pains
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: right now with all the Housewives franchises because of that,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: because we are also going into a new realm.
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: There's some dog that wandered in her backyard, but it's
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: not mine.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: See?
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: It's not mine.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: They want to see me too.
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: But anyway.
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: Cutie.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's a part of the evolution and
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: I think it's unfortunate. I'm sorry to see that. I
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: thought it was wonderful to be able to be in
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: the sort of Dallas, you know, inner society.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: I wonder if our society hadn't gone through that, if
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: they could have survived just being their like wacky Dallas selves.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Maybe. Yeah. Maybe. And I think, but I think, you know,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: I think it's healthy. I think sometimes there's like, you know,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: sacrifices that have to be made to get to the
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: next level. It might come back. Who knows, you know,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: with a different cast in a couple of years.
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: Do you think Salt Lake would be as successful without
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: Mary Crosby and Jen Shah?
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: I think that this is the thing. When things like
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: that come out on these shows, it's funny because we
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: as producers and networks, I'm sure are like, this is
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: not good. This isn't good. You know, this isn't our brand.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: This isn't where we want to go with this, but
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: the ratings are through the roof. So it's this like,
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: do we continue down this path? I mean, look at
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Erica Jane. That's controversial. Like, are they, you know, did
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: they do what is being alleged on the show or not?
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: I mean, it's controversial and it's not necessarily what you
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: want to be focusing all your time on, but viewers
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: are eating it up and the ratings are big. So
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: it's a, it's a balance, you know, like I, it's
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: hard to say because Beverly Hills, if that hadn't happened
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: with Erica Jane, was it last season?
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: Where would it be?
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: Because remember Lisa Vanderpump was, had exited and she was
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: a huge mainstay and a huge fan favorite. Um, someone
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: who probably wields a lot of power, right. And influence.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: And everyone was like, is this show going to survive
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: without Lisa Vanderpump? And look what happened.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: That was the one, that was a season that I
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: can only remember. It was the puppy gate.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Puppy gate. Yeah.
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: Yeah. Who, who was guilty of what with the Lucy
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: goosey apple juicy, whatever her name was. Um, Yeah. And
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: Lisa Vanderpump, anytime I would see her, she'd be like,
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: I mean, they got so toys to rate her online.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: I mean, come on. Like she will never.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: That's a good one too.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: She will never.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: And that was another one where I was like, but
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: I always said, you know, the fact that she didn't
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: go to the reunion and gave up $ 250, 000 makes me wonder.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: It does make you wonder.
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: It makes you wonder, like, really? What is someone going
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: to whip out that you cannot deny? Right. So whether
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: it was she did it or hinted for someone else
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: to do it, there's more to the, you know.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: There's more to the story, the narrative. I think when
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: somebody's ego gets the best of them and they're not
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: willing to admit something and they just cut it off
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: completely because they can do that in their real lives.
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: That's dangerous on reality TV because then you do look guilty.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: Then you do if you shut down or you don't
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: address something or you walk away or you refuse to participate.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: You don't have a voice. So everyone else is going
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: to speak for you. That's not a smart move usually.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: You want to show up and take the heat and
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: address it and defend yourself because you have a better
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: chance of winning and surviving than being absent.
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: But I think being the queen bee and everything and
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: knowing that like I have these other shows and everything.
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: I I'd rather walk away than, I don't know, be caught.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: In a lie or continue or whatever. Well, she has
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: other options.
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: I mean, exactly.
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: And then you also worked on Potomac.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: I did. I love Potomac season three and four. It was, um, uh,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: the show was really emerging as a viable franchise. I mean,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: it always was from the beginning, but I think it
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: was growing in popularity. People like Potomac, never heard of it.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: And now it's like, All people can talk about it.
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: So you were able to do Potomac and OC because.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: I was able to, yes. Well, I did miss one
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: season of OC. I did miss season 13.
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: But I went from Potomac season three to Dallas season
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: three to Potomac season four and then to Orange County
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: season 14. And then I've been on it since season 14.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: So I inherited OC as the showrunner when Vicky became
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: a friend. I'm like, really? You're going to give me
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: the season when the OG of all the franchises is
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: getting demoted to a friend? I mean, come on, she's iconic.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: This is not a tough ask, right? Right. And then
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: I had COVID. And then, I mean, you know the story.
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: Yeah, you go through COVID, you go through the social
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: injustice time of our society and people talking about it.
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: And then you get people that are like, I don't
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: want to hear any politics. I just want to see
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: the girls get drunk and have fun. These people are
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: old and racist. Let's get some new people. I hate
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: the new people. I mean, it's a hard, like, I'm
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: imagining Bravo being like, what the hell are we supposed
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: to do? And one of their solutions is New York.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: We're going to have the OGs, the women like over 50.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: It's interesting, isn't it? And we're going to have, maybe
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: find some new young moms.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: Capitalize on it.
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: Smart.
- 1:15:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: So now they have two.
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: Find some new youngies that are going to give us
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: 15 years. Yeah. I mean, just like any business, you
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: might get rid of the CEO making 2 million and
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: keep the 35-year-olds that are making, you know, whatever, 100,000.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: Yep.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: It's like.
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: It's a little bit of that too. And so, and
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: then I wonder if by letting them go saying goodbye
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: and then you bring them back, do you not have
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: to pay them that one too anymore?
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: I think you do. I think, I think you do
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: because they are, they've earned it.
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: I mean, I want them to just come back. Right. Yeah.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: But I'm just wondering, is.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: It worth it? Because you know, I think you're, I
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: think you're absolutely right. I think you're, it's okay. I
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: think you're right about the branding and the idea of
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: like marketing and moving forward, stepping away, sends a message. Yeah.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: And then people forget what that message was. And then
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: you bring them back. Like a Tamra, for example. People
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: were sniffing, they were sniffing like, you know, oh, is
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: she just a shit stirrer, they call her, right? Is
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: she just shit stirring just for the sake of the cameras?
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: And it's like, well, when has she not? And that's
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: why you love her, right? Remember for 13, 14 years,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: whatever she's been on?
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: That's why you love her. But because it's been run
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: out so many times, played out so many times over
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: the years, maybe it's time to just step away for
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: a minute. That's why I think she would be a
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: viable person to come back because she is, she knows
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: she's fun. She's good. She knows what she's doing. She
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: knows this game.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: Have you ever, and you don't have to be specific.
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: So you have those meanings coming back and people are
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: aware that you do this and you're like, okay, so
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: I'm a housewife. Okay. Just pretend. And you're like, Heather,
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: we're going to start filming in two weeks or whatever.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: So like, ask me like, what do I have going
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: on in my storylines? Yeah. So I have, and what
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: if someone has nothing?
- 1:17:01Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: So just tell me.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: Oh my God. That's interesting.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: And I've been in that seat before.
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: I'm like, okay.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: So nothing really is going on. Oh, oh, you have
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: a business you want to promote or this or that? Okay.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: So let's say that's the worst.
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: Let's say it was my year. Okay. Heather, like what's,
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: what's new going on with you?
- 1:17:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: I'm still doing the podcast.
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: Great.
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: Still putting it on YouTube.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: Okay. Fantastic.
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: Um, son's already, we already went through the college thing
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: with him.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: So he's already there. Okay.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: So there's nothing there.
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Got it.
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: The other one, we haven't started the college process.
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:17:31Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: So there's nothing there too.
- 1:17:32Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: Got it. My daughter's already been out of school for
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: a few years, so she's still doing the same thing,
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: finding herself.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: Yeah. And your relationship with your husband is perfect, right?
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: It's not perfect. It's the same. Okay.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: Same. Same as it's always been. Got it. Nothing new.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: Yeah. You'll have your fun bicker moments, but then it's
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: over pretty quickly.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: Okay. But he won't bicker on camera, I'm sure. Probably not.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: Why would he? Yeah, because he'll look bad.
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: And if we go to the parties, he's not going
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: to engage. He's going to have a cigar in the
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: corner with the other dad. Right.
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: Talk to the trees.
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Got it. Sounds riveting so far. What else do you
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: have going on?
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: We're going to redo a countertop in my bathroom.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: Oh, that's always good. I love a reno.
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: We're not. We're just doing the countertops.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Well, that could be a little beat.
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: Actually, it's going to be done in about a week.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: It'll be great in a round robin. But I don't
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: know if we have a scene, but A Round Robin's perfect.
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: What's A Round Robin?
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: You know when we go from one act to the next,
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: it's like you see segments of each of the housewives,
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: and then you land at a moment? That's called A
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: Round Robin.
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: Oh, okay. So both my elderly parents, they died a
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: few years ago, so they're not coming back.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: Okay. Do you ever go visit them? I mean, that
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: might be a little dark.
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: No, they're urns, and we put them in a place
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: all the way in Riverside.
- 1:18:48Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: Yeah, not too sexy, right?
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: There. No. And then, yeah.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: Are you going to get any procedures done? This is
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: a good question to ask a new housewife. You don't
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: need it. Don't, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: If I can get it for free, I think I
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: might wait two more years for a lower facelift, but like.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: Two years, maybe they could do it now.
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: But if it means I'm going to get, sure. If
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: it means I'm going to get fired, we could do that.
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: I also just, um, I had, I did fall on
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: my head, but that's, that was kind of last season
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: and I took a million tests and I don't have
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: anything wrong with me.
- 1:19:21Speaker 5: Nothing.
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: Nothing.
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: So you're, you're, you're good. You're pretty normal. That's good.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: Things are going well.
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: Yeah. So yeah. So now what do you do with that?
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: What the hell do you do with that? Can you
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: break a leg?
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: Can I make one?
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: Do you have a limp that turns into something else?
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: Do you think anybody has, and this is a little controversial,
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: but do you think anyone in a desperate situation might
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: ask their child to come out even though they're not?
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: Or play with it?
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: That would be so horrible. I think it's happened.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: If that's the case.
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: I think it's possibly has happened. I'm not going to
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: say with who. But I think it's happened, you know, with,
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: I'll be honest. Okay.
- 1:20:03Speaker 5: Yeah, tell me.
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: I'm going to say this. I think the Bronwyn son
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: doing drag seemed a little forced.
- 1:20:09Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: Okay. Because the kid has never done it. Like, I've
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: never seen anything where they're going consecutively to see him
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: perform since she's been off the show.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: I think, well, we know what, it's clear what her
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: family and their identities are, right?
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: So I think that, I don't know the answer to that,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: but I would say that when you are, have an
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: opportunity to be on a television show and you know
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: it has to be entertaining and you want to take
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: it somewhere, you might come up with some ideas that
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: maybe you wouldn't if there weren't cameras around. That's all
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: I'm going to say. Like you might want to, like
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: you were just giving me your rundown of what's going
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: on in your life. If I say, well, look, let's,
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: let's jazz it up. Like, do you have any other ideas?
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: Do you have any, I say, do you want to
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: take salsa dancing? Is that something that you want to
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: do to reignite your relationship with your husband?
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: I'm going to stay on the house wise. So I'm
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: going to come up with some stuff.
- 1:20:56Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: Um, okay. Yeah. So, uh, Peter and I have always, uh,
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: Talked about how weird we think swingers are, but now
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: we're going to try.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: I thought, you know what? I thought you were going
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: to say we're going to do tantric sex. I swear
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: to God. I'm like, now you're talking. Now we're cooking
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: with gas.
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: Oh, like a swing? Okay, we'll get a swing.
- 1:21:14Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: Whatever. That would be so embarrassing. That I don't think
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: I can do.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: Okay. But this is what I would say too. Don't
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: want you to do anything that's not in your comfort zone.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: So we need to stay rooted in reality in your
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: comfort zone here. So what else?
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: Reorganize my closet. Get rid of some clothes. Right.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: You could donate to another housewife. That's smart.
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: Help another housewife prepare stuff.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: I mean, you donate your clothes, give it to another
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: housewife who's in need.
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: And then, yes, exactly. I'm really generous.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: But we have to do something that hasn't been done before.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: Sorry to burst your bubble.
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: See, this is where I do kind of feel badly
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: when I'm even bored with someone's life. When I see
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: fans go, they have no storyline. I'm like, Have you
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: had an exciting storyline.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: Every year of your life? I love you for saying that.
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: Have you had a mother going through Alzheimer's? You might
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: have breast cancer and your son got a DUI.
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: Yeah. And you just committed tax fraud and you're going
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: to jail.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: Like, did you hit a jackpot of tragedy? Yeah. If
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: you didn't hit a jackpot of tragedy, what are we
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: going to do?
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: I mean, seriously. And that's how some of these housewives feel.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: It's like, what the fuck more do you want from me?
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: It's like, Jesus. I mean, some of them lay it
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: all out, you know? And then you're.
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: Like, I'm finally having a good year.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: My kids are doing fine.
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: I'm in a normal relationship.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: And you could defend some of these women, like Bronwyn
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: you brought up, for example. You know, you don't have
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: to be a fan of hers. You don't have to
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: like her one way or the other.
- 1:22:41Speaker 5: But I.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: Admire her for opening up about her alcoholism and her
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: sexuality when people were saying she was making that shit
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: up about her sexuality. Have you seen her lately?
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: And her alcoholism.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: And her alcoholism too. But when she opened up, and
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: this is where it's like, it's tricky, right? Because my
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: job is to go, like I'm following. Like, and if
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: it's good, if it's juicy, we're going to go there.
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: And this is, she, I commend her for opening up
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: because she did that in front of all of us
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: with crews everywhere.
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: I think she opened up and I think, but to
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: the audience. And I believe it was real.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: Yes. But the audience was like, oh.
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: And the sexuality was real. They sometimes go hand in hand.
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: Why are you being destructive? It's because you're not facing
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: who you really are. But to the audience, it felt
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: like she had studied the show and decided, I'm going
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: to blow it out.
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: Because they had established that she was a fan of
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: the show. Yeah.
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: I'm going to blow it out with not just one storyline,
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: but three and a half. Yeah.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: And during COVID. Yeah.
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: And to be fair on that point, I'd like to
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: tell everyone we were shut down for many, many, many weeks.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: It was a truncated season. I think we and the
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: team created miracles with that season, like it or not.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: And we can't put a disclaimer on there. Oh, by
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: the way, we were shut down for months. And we
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: still managed to have 14 episodes in like literally nine
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: weeks of filming. That's unprecedented. So we had the women
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: film self film with their phones and we created, it
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: may not have been your favorite episode, but some people
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: called me and was like, that was really interesting. And
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: that was like my favorite season. Wasn't everyone's favorite season,
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: but you're not going to win it with all of them.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: And they shot their own footage and we put a
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: whole episode together. Not one producer stood on set. We
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: were all isolated. So to be fair, Bronwyn's story was
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: not flushed out the way it was very minimal. So
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: it felt rushed. It felt compact, but this did happen
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: over a larger course of time. And I think to
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: be fair, that season would have been phenomenal. And I
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: think Elizabeth Vargas would have had more of a chance
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: if we had more time.
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: I'm friendly with Elizabeth.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: She's so nice.
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: She was disappointed not to be asked back. And she
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: was like, come on, I got the shittiest season. I'm like,
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: it's COVID time. We can't go on a trip. And then.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: We couldn't talk a lot about her husband, too, because
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: she's going through a brutal divorce.
- 1:24:58Speaker 2: And I like her, but I can see why they
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: decided there wasn't really an avenue to go. I think
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: it's hard when someone isn't married and doesn't have kids.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: A hundred percent. It's always risky. And we talk about that.
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: We're like, is there something here? But I, you know,
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: you hope there is.
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: I mean, I, I know Carol Radswell. And I said,
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: the best thing about you, Carol, is that you got
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: to do the show and you didn't destroy any relationships.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: Your kids don't hate you because you don't have kids.
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: You didn't divorce your husband because you were a widow.
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: You weren't married. You were still really fun and interesting.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: But at the same time, that also might've been the
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: reason why, They felt it had run its course. Yeah.
- 1:25:38Speaker 5: You know?
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: Because where are you going to go?
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: And that's another thing with some of these other housewives.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: It's like, you know, you've seen it and they've been
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: on a long time. It's like, where do you go
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: with them now? You asked me this earlier. It's like, well,
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: where do you go? Where do you go with someone
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: who's been on for 13 years, 12, 10, 7?
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: Now, were you the one that had to call Tamara
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: and tell her?
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: No.
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: She talks about that moment a lot. She shared that. No.
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: I called Bronwyn and told her. But the big dogs
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: called Tamara.
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: Yeah. I think because it was just a different, I
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: don't know, a different scenario. Yeah.
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: Now, how do you tell?
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: They may have a long-term relationship.
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: Okay, now tell me because now I've been on for
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: six years.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: And the last two years, I've just continued to do
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: my podcast, which you show one second of. Yeah.
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: There's only so much podcasting we can do. Yeah. That
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: keeps people's interest.
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: And Peter and I have gone to Costco numerous times
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: and made jokes about that. And it feels played out.
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: People are done with my teenage boys. So just tell me. Ding-a-ling-a-ling. Hi,
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: how are you?
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: I'm good, Heather. How are you?
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: Oh, so good. I'm just folding some laundry.
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: We could do that next season. Talk about it. We're
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: going to get a new washer and dryer.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: Do you have a new method to folding? Is it
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: like triangular or square now?
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: Um, I watched that lady, but, um, yeah, you know, the,
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: the cute girl Komoki or I don't know. Anyway, I couldn't,
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: I couldn't figure it out, but yeah, but I'm so excited.
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: Do you think there's a deeper rooted issue here with
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: you for like why you can't figure out how you're folding?
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: Maybe we should explore that. Well, I'm just, maybe this
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: isn't the right conversation where we're going with it.
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: We could, yeah. I mean, that's what I'm so excited
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: to start filming. Cause I, I'm going to go on
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: an organizational journey. Cause I just watched that girl's series
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: on Netflix. And I just think it would be so
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: fun for the people, the Bravo sphere to see me
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: like redo, uh, my pantry you know what i mean
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: like like chloe does like chloe kardashian.
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: Yeah i know i love your pantry they want to.
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: See heather mcdonald just like color coordinate the though i
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: do think i'd buy a lot of food we wouldn't
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: eat but i will totally do.
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: That i know you're very particular about your food and
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: um well i heather i wish i just want to
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: jump into it i just want.
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: To get to the point and i'm Are we meeting
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: at Nobu for to film?
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: Oh my God. Nobu may not be the best place
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: to meet for anything.
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: No, I mean to film.
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: I just want to know. No, they won't let us
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: film anymore after what happened last season. It was a
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: bad reflection on them. No, I'm just kidding. I think
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: we're in good standing with Nobu. They actually loved us.
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: They were great. No, but I just, I have to
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: tell you, this is really classic, right? I'm just going
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: to tell you. So Bravo's deciding to go in a
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: different direction.
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: A direction.
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: Direction. They're casting right now and they're still figuring it out,
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: but they're deciding to sort of depart from you. Why?
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: I'm sorry. I mean.
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: This is really awkward and.
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: Hard to tell you. I mean, is there something I
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: could do? Could I get?
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: No.
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: A breast reduction? Oh, God.
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: This is so hard.
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: What about vaginal rejuvenation? And then Peter tells it if
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: it worked or not, if he feels a different vagina.
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: Well, maybe, look, maybe if you take a step away
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: and get your vaginal rejuvenation and some other things and
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: we keep the conversation open.
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: Should I self-film the vaginal rejuvenation video?
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: Yeah, if you feel comfortable with that.
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: Yeah, if it gets me back on the show, they
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: can see my vag and my smaller vag.
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: Like before and after, stuff is always really good. And
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: maybe keep that together and then we can have this
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: conversation down the road. I really want you to keep
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: your relationship intact.
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: So when people ask me what happened, like, How do
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: I write that on Instagram? Do I say I'm put
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: on pause like Dorinda? Do I say I want to
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: spend more time with my kids?
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: I think you should. I think you should.
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: I think spending more time with my kids is great.
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: Spend more time with your kids. Graciously bow out. Keep
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: the relationship open. Don't burn any bridges.
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: You never know where this could go. We could come
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: back and rearrange your pantry and see your vaginal rejuvenation.
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: Okay. So I quickly wrote up what I'm going to
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: put on Instagram.
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: It's a photo of me holding the orange. After six
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: years of the greatest time, memories... Ups and downs, tears
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: and laughs. I've decided to take this time with Bravo's
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: blessing to spend more time with my kids, organize my pantry,
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: work on myself, my inner self. And by inner, I
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: mean my vaginal walls. Please follow my journey on TikTok
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: as I seek a tighter vagina and a happier marriage.
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: And don't forget to thank your producers.
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: And I'd like to thank all the producers, everybody at Bravo,
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: and especially Andy, his two kids. I will continue to
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: give gifts. I have their birthdays in my phone as alert,
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: all three of them. I promise I will be one
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: of the 65 housewives that wish everyone a happy birthday
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: before anybody else. So keep me in mind.
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: And you're going to want to hang out with them too,
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: like while you're stepping away for photo opportunities.
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: And I don't know why I haven't been called for BravoCon,
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: but I already bought a ticket. So I'm going to
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: be just walking outside and you can probably get a
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: photo with me.
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: And I'm not going to thank my executive producer, just
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: my hair and makeup people.
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: Right. Does that happen to you in that Bugs?
- 1:30:59Speaker 4: All the time.
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: And my glam squad.
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: I get jealous.
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: My glam squad.
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: Because I'm a thirsty producer.
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: My club's called Raul and Maricel, thank you. And yeah, exactly.
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: It's always that. It's always, oh my God. And you're like, what?
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: Well, because they make the best selfies. That's what it is.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: I've got it down. I've had so many photos taken.
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: The cast has taken so many photos with me, but
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: they're like a little orange looking or something like that.
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: And I always look great. And they're like, no, we're
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: not posting it.
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: Yeah, do not post. Is a piece of plastic in

- 1:32:38Speaker 1: I think, I think like just what I love sharing
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: from a producer's perspective is because people don't, we don't
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: get to share as much as the people who are
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: on camera.
- 1:32:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: I really appreciate you doing that.
- 1:32:49Speaker 2: Oh, thank you.
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: It's amazing. And this is fun. You're just fun to
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: hang out with. I think that, you know, I'm going
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: to tell people who are on these shows, you know,
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: respect your producers. work with them, collaborate. Hopefully they're good
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: at what they do and they're there for a reason
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: and be kind. This is, we're making television because this
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: is fun and we're out there together to be inspired
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: and to share with the world. So let's collaborate. I
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: think the industry has gotten a little, you know, it's
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: gotten a little messy. Yeah. We need to get back to,
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: we're here to entertain people and we're here to work
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: together and respect one another. And you know, you've been
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: in the business forever and there's some shit that goes
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: on that is just not okay.
- 1:33:29Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: People need to respect each other, be respectful. And know
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: that we're working our asses off so we all can
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: be successful together. Right.
- 1:33:36Speaker 2: And I think some of these women, all of a sudden,
- 1:33:39Speaker 2: they never were even in high school play. And now
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: they're the star of a show in 122 countries. That's
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: a lot. And they sometimes don't act professionally because they're
- 1:33:47Speaker 2: not a professional. Versus Elisa Renner or Kyle have been
- 1:33:50Speaker 2: working since Kyle was like four. So yeah, Kyle is
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: on time. Kyle does deliver.
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: Kyle's a professional.
- 1:33:55Speaker 2: Elisa Renner is too. Yeah. So that's what I'm saying.
- 1:33:58Speaker 2: I mean, when I'm interviewed- Not everyone does. When I've
- 1:34:00Speaker 2: interviewed housewives, I do like the professionals because they're the
- 1:34:03Speaker 2: ones that come alone. They're on time. The Denise Richards,
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: all of them were just so easy. And the other
- 1:34:08Speaker 2: girls were too, but then there'd be some who were
- 1:34:09Speaker 2: like back and forth, flake that morning, this or that.
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, forget it. You know, whatever. But yes,
- 1:34:16Speaker 2: I love that.
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: The people that- say negative things to producers and are like,
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: I hope you vomit in your sleep and die tonight.
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: Or they say that someone has said that off camera
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: to producers before, or, or people, you know, I've been,
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: you know, I've, you know, there's been physical things like,
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: you know, that some people have said, Oh, I'm sorry.
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: I didn't mean to do that out of frustration or whatever,
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: but this needs to be a professional environment where people
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: are respecting each other and coming together in the same
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: cause of making great TV. We don't have to get
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: dirty with each other. But then there's the other side
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: where it's like beautiful and there's like these families, they
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: want to feed us and they want to welcome us
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: into their homes and they're so gracious, you know?
- 1:34:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: It's like we all just need to remember that we're
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: here trying to elevate each other, you know? And I
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: think that goes for all the shows that I've worked
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: on and everywhere else too.
- 1:35:04Speaker 2: Yeah. Anyway, I just wanted to share that. I love that.
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: Just put it out into the universe because we're all
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: working hard to be successful. And I think we can
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: lift each other up.
- 1:35:12Speaker 2: And I love these shows. I never want to see
- 1:35:15Speaker 2: them go away. I don't. They're so entertaining and I
- 1:35:18Speaker 2: get invested and I love talking about them and all
- 1:35:21Speaker 2: of that. I love interviewing all the people, including now
- 1:35:23Speaker 2: the behind the scenes.
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: We can keep making you laugh.
- 1:35:25Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: Because that's a big part of it.
- 1:35:26Speaker 3: Love it.
- 1:35:28Speaker 2: You've been such a delight. Tell us like, what can
- 1:35:31Speaker 2: you share that now you're working on going forward? Any
- 1:35:34Speaker 2: shows coming up or anything you.
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: Can hint at? You know, for sure. I, um, you know,
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: it was hard leaving OC. It was hard. It was,
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: I'm not going to lie. That's like been my family.
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: Not only that, but it's literally a family. I know the,
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: I've seen people's kids grow up on that show. Like literally, right.
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: I know Shannon's kids from way back. And They, we
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: have a relationship, you know, my God, the blue beat,
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: the best. I wanted to do a music video of
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: that too. I think maybe I should go into music videos.
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: I'm available.
- 1:36:04Speaker 2: Girls are great.
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: They're so great. So great. Um, I, you know, once
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: the sting subsided and I was thinking, I saw a
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: whole new world of opportunity and I haven't been out
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: interviewing in so long. I had two job interviews and Um,
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: one was, uh, it was discovery plus I think it's called,
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: and then, um, a Netflix show and I got offered
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: both jobs right out of the gate. So I'm proud. No, no,
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: they conflicted. So I chose to do this presentation with
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: Netflix and I've done a presentation in a long time
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: and it was a lot of fun because it's like
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: creating a whole new series.
- 1:36:37Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: And you have to package it up and, you know,
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: make like a sizzle reel, a 20 minute presentation, uh,
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: waiting to hear back from, um, them. It's like a
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: real estate. themed thing in the big apple.
- 1:36:50Speaker 2: Oh, the big apple.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: Really, really good. Really excited about it. Hope I'm still
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: around to do that.
- 1:36:55Speaker 2: Did you work on the Tampa selling Sunday?
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: I did selling Tampa. I did selling Tampa.
- 1:36:59Speaker 2: Now, a lot of people like that. I did not
- 1:37:01Speaker 2: see that, but then wasn't there another Tampa show about
- 1:37:03Speaker 2: lesbians or was it lesbian realtors?
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: No, they were, it was a show about lesbians in
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: Tampa and they were filming at the same time we were,
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: and I was hoping we would cross paths because I
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: was dying to meet them.
- 1:37:14Speaker 2: Do you think it would have worked if it was
- 1:37:15Speaker 2: just only lesbian?
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: Lesbian realtors?
- 1:37:18Speaker 2: How about late in life lesbians and late in life realtors?
- 1:37:21Speaker 2: All late in life lesbians who just got their real
- 1:37:23Speaker 2: estate license living in Tampa.
- 1:37:25Speaker 4: I love that.
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: Can we do that show together? Because I live for it.
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: Selling Tampa, the lesbian edition.
- 1:37:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: It's good. Yeah. Well, you know, there's a thriving gay
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: community in Tampa. I'd never really been there. I just
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: heard bad things about Tampa. And it's actually really a
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: beautiful place.
- 1:37:40Speaker 2: I have a friend who's very... And open. My friend
- 1:37:42Speaker 2: lives in a beautiful Davis Island.
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: Oh. So she's... I ate at a little Mexican restaurant there.
- 1:37:47Speaker 2: And whenever I do the Tampa improv, I would stay
- 1:37:49Speaker 2: with her. So I've had... And my crowds were great.
- 1:37:51Speaker 2: So I had a great time in Tampa.
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: That's so great.
- 1:37:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: Selling Tampa was amazing. One of the best casts I've
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: ever worked with. You know, just... It's so beautiful. Lovely,
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: lovely women.
- 1:38:00Speaker 2: Now, is that not coming back or you don't know?
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. I think, yeah, I
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: think they're still deciding on what's going to happen with that.
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: I hope it does because I love those gals.
- 1:38:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: It was a fun show. It's fun to be a
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: part of something new.
- 1:38:12Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:38:13Speaker 2: What if your show goes?
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:38:15Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:38:16Speaker 2: And they don't ask Ramona back for the OGs. Could
- 1:38:21Speaker 2: Ramona be a realtor on your show?
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: I would live for that. You know, she could. She
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: could do it. She's got the skill set.
- 1:38:29Speaker 2: No, she hasn't license.
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: Oh, amazing.
- 1:38:31Speaker 2: She's actually doing it.
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: Right. And she has the personality. So it's like, she's.
- 1:38:34Speaker 2: With Douglas Allen.
- 1:38:36Speaker 4: Oh my God.
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: That's phenomenal.
- 1:38:38Speaker 2: I used to be a realtor too.
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: Could you imagine she's going to get into that? Well,
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: I love that because like New York and realtors, it's
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: like everybody had a different past life.
- 1:38:45Speaker 2: I'm going to just end on Ramona pitching herself to you.
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: I'm ready.
- 1:38:48Speaker 2: Because she was not, for some weird reason, not asked
- 1:38:51Speaker 2: back on the OGs or whatever it's called. Yeah.
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:38:54Speaker 2: I want to tell you, I've actually been really always
- 1:38:57Speaker 2: into real estate and styling gorgeous homes.
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: And you know what?
- 1:39:01Speaker 2: Since I've been doing this, it's like some really hot
- 1:39:03Speaker 2: guys are hitting on me a lot that I could
- 1:39:05Speaker 2: bring on. I could go on some dates. I could
- 1:39:07Speaker 2: show you houses. I could hang out with these younger people.
- 1:39:11Speaker 2: Because a lot of people think I'm as young as Avery. Okay?
- 1:39:14Speaker 2: I'm really not. But I just have such a youthful skin.
- 1:39:19Speaker 2: I'm telling you.
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: I'm sold. Sold.
- 1:39:21Speaker 2: If you need her, she's available.
- 1:39:23Speaker 1: Oh my God, I love it. And if not, I'm
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: coming to you.
- 1:39:25Speaker 2: Fine. I'm ready to do it. Let's do it. I've
- 1:39:28Speaker 2: told ex-housewives, I told Kelly Dodd, I go, get your
- 1:39:32Speaker 2: real estate license. About a year and a half ago.
- 1:39:34Speaker 4: Oh my God.
- 1:39:34Speaker 2: I go, get your real estate license.
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: Why is she not listening to you?
- 1:39:36Speaker 2: She is. She is.
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: Is she going to do her real estate license?
- 1:39:39Speaker 2: She's either took the test or she's about to take
- 1:39:41Speaker 2: the test.
- 1:39:42Speaker 1: She's going to be like, buy the fucking house. What
- 1:39:46Speaker 1: are you waiting for, you douchebag?
- 1:39:47Speaker 2: About a year ago, I said, why don't you do that?
- 1:39:51Speaker 2: Because this is before the Oppenheimer Group came here and
- 1:39:54Speaker 2: before Mauricio announced his. And I'm like, you know there's
- 1:39:57Speaker 2: going to be a real estate show out here and
- 1:39:59Speaker 2: you could do that. I go, and if nothing else,
- 1:40:02Speaker 2: you have this huge Instagram. Someone's going to... get their
- 1:40:05Speaker 2: listing just cause you, you got 800,000 people and the other,
- 1:40:09Speaker 2: the next top realtor only has 2000. You know what.
- 1:40:12Speaker 1: You think about Kelly Dodge? She's super smart.
- 1:40:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: In some ways, not so smart, but she, I could
- 1:40:18Speaker 1: see her doing that.
- 1:40:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:40:19Speaker 1: She's a good salesperson and she's charming and.
- 1:40:21Speaker 2: She's redoing a house. She redid a house in, um,
- 1:40:24Speaker 2: I like the pool.
- 1:40:27Speaker 1: Oh, she has the, the paddle, paddle tennis, the paddle tennis, pickleball, pickleball,
- 1:40:32Speaker 1: all the craze.
- 1:40:33Speaker 2: No, but it's all good. I loved that you came here.
- 1:40:36Speaker 1: This has been a pleasure. We could talk all day.
