The Golden Dream Matter
Aired: Mar 11th, 1962. Johnny Dollar heads into the Arizona desert to look into a missing mining engineer who'd been sent to check out a suspicious gold-stock scheme called the Golden Dream. What starts as a routine disappearance case turns grim when a body turns up at the bottom of an old flooded mine shaft, and Johnny starts wondering if it was really an accident. Kramer's world-weary narration threads together sun-baked highways, a shady stock promoter, and a resort by Lake Mojave hiding more than fishing holes.
