  Speaker 1: understand what I'm saying. And the subject again is your

  Speaker 1: relationship with God. I'm trying to impose upon people without

  Speaker 1: being one of those people like, hey, look at me,

  Speaker 1: this is what I did and this is how I Hey,

  Speaker 1: this is me. I'm not bragging at all. I'm trying

  Speaker 1: to get anybody who needs this information to understand how

  Speaker 1: critical and important that you have this relationship with God

  Speaker 1: that you have. Now I've been criticized for the way

  Speaker 1: I do this because they are those little starch you know,

  Speaker 1: over the top Christians, or you don't say Jesus name. Look, man,

  Speaker 1: I'm trying to get people to have relationship with God.

  Speaker 1: Your particular basis for how you go about it is

  Speaker 1: none of my business. The most important thing is your

  Speaker 1: relationship with God. Well you need to say Jesus name.

  Speaker 1: I believe in Christ. I really really do. I understand.

  Speaker 1: I believe in the Holy Trinity. I do. I believe

  Speaker 1: that Jesus Christ was the son of God. He died

  Speaker 1: on the cross, and he rose on the third Day.

  Speaker 1: They died for our sins. I believe that. I believe

  Speaker 1: that the Holy Spirit is given to us as a comfort,

  Speaker 1: as a part of the Trinity that helps guide us.

  Speaker 1: That you can, and I believe that there is a God.

  Speaker 1: That's all of this. My relationship with all three of them. Now,

  Speaker 1: if that ain't your relationship, that ain't my business. But

  Speaker 1: you do have to have a relationship with God. See

  Speaker 1: the particulars of it. That's the religion. That's what some

  Speaker 1: men got together and got these different groups. We Methodists,

  Speaker 1: we Lutheran, we Pentecostal, we Holiness, we Baptists, we Pentecostal.

  Speaker 1: That's y'all. Y'all came up with that. I ain't got

  Speaker 1: nothing to do with that. I need people to understand

  Speaker 1: that in the game of life, that this relationship with

  Speaker 1: God that you have is so important because it will

  Speaker 1: help you in the game of life because life has

  Speaker 1: particles to it. Life has joys, life has victories, life

  Speaker 1: has dreams, life has goals, but life got distractions to

  Speaker 1: Life come with grief. Life come with hardship, It comes
• 2:57
  Speaker 1: with challenges, and it comes with setbacks. The reason I

  Speaker 1: have a relationship with God and I talk to him
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: on a daily several times throughout the day is because
• 3:13
  Speaker 1: when it's going well for me, I want to acknowledge
• 3:17
  Speaker 1: the fact that I know it's Him, that he's providing

  Speaker 1: me with this moment of favor, with these hours of grace,

  Speaker 1: that God is giving me peace of mind and all
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: of that. So when life comes up and starts life

  Speaker 1: in me, when the setback, the trials, the tribulations, the challenges,
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: the grief hits me, I am not introducing myself to God.

  Speaker 1: I'm saying as a person who has a relationship with him. Hey, God,

  Speaker 1: I know he was just talking about it, and I
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: know it's been going real smooth for me, but it
• 3:58
  Speaker 1: got a little rocky down here and it got real

  Speaker 1: rough for me right now, and I need you to
• 4:04
  Speaker 1: provide for me the strength or the comfort to get
• 4:09
  Speaker 1: through it. I don't ask him to remove it because

  Speaker 1: the removal of it is too late. It's already happening.

  Speaker 1: You can stop with to take it away that ain't

  Speaker 1: how it work. What you want is a relationship with

  Speaker 1: God where He strengthens you to cope with it, and

  Speaker 1: he gives you the comfort to deal with it, and

  Speaker 1: he gives you the wisdom to understand that this too

  Speaker 1: shall pass. And in the wisdom of these challenges that

  Speaker 1: happens to you, it gives you an understanding as to
• 4:38
  Speaker 1: why it happened. Because behind every moment of adversity, I've
• 4:42
  Speaker 1: said this hundreds of times on this show. Behind every
• 4:45
  Speaker 1: moment of adversity, two things happen. There is a lesson
• 4:48
  Speaker 1: and there is a blessing. And when you get wise
• 4:52
  Speaker 1: and you get really cool with God, he reveals them both.

  Speaker 1: And man, ain't that good news to you to know
• 5:00
  Speaker 1: that behind every challenged, trial, tribulation, hardship that you have
• 5:05
  Speaker 1: grief that you're suffering, that in that God is going
• 5:08
  Speaker 1: to give you the lesson that you need to know
• 5:12
  Speaker 1: and going to give you the blessing behind it. That
• 5:16
  Speaker 1: knowledge of those two things keeps me in the dark moments.

  Speaker 1: That's why your relationship with God is important. I tell you.
• 5:27
  Speaker 1: The other reason is important because He's always there. He
• 5:33
  Speaker 1: is the one thing that consistently in your life can
• 5:38
  Speaker 1: provide you with comfort, peace of mind, and solutions to
• 5:44
  Speaker 1: your problems. He guarantees can give you those three things. Now,
• 5:51
  Speaker 1: you might have a friend or a wife, or a
• 5:53
  Speaker 1: spouse or a partner that is there for you with
• 5:57
  Speaker 1: those things too, but they can't be with you twenty
• 5:59
  Speaker 1: four seven. God can. That's the important of the relationship

  Speaker 1: with God. And that's why I've been so harping on

  Speaker 1: it so heavy this week because I want you all

  Speaker 1: to know what it is to have that that source.
