Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. As the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein in the
• 0:07
Speaker 1: UK continues to grow, where getting reports that the Trump
• 0:11
Speaker 1: administration is not willing to play ball with the UK
• 0:16
Speaker 1: and help them with their investigation into Jeffrey Epstein. And
• 0:20
Speaker 1: if these reports are true, would anyone be surprised considering
• 0:24
Speaker 1: their lack of interest here in America, why would they
• 0:27
Speaker 1: try and help the investigation move forward anywhere? The whole
• 0:32
Speaker 1: idea is to kill the investigation. So if that means
• 0:35
Speaker 1: giving the UK the middle finger and making them go
• 0:38
Speaker 1: through official channels, then so be it. And it's kind
• 0:42
Speaker 1: of the same situation that we saw with America asking
• 0:45
Speaker 1: the UK for help with Andrew, and of course the
• 0:49
Speaker 1: UK told America to kick rocks, and now the shoes
• 0:53
Speaker 1: on the other foot, and it looks like America is
• 0:56
Speaker 1: responding in kind. And I think the motivation here is twofold.
• 1:00
Speaker 1: Most importantly to keep the cover up going, and second
• 1:04
Speaker 1: to punish the Brits for not playing ball with Andrew
• 1:07
Speaker 1: the first time around when Jeffrey Berman was hot on
• 1:10
Speaker 1: his heels. And honestly, the cynic in me says that
• 1:13
Speaker 1: This could all be part of the plan too. If
• 1:15
Speaker 1: you have both governments acting like neither side wants to
• 1:18
Speaker 1: give anything up, that provides both governments all the cover
• 1:21
Speaker 1: in the world they need to kill the investigation right
• 1:25
Speaker 1: if there is no evidence, then how could you possibly
• 1:28
Speaker 1: continue with an investigation that would give them all the
• 1:32
Speaker 1: cover they need? And I certainly don't put it above
• 1:34
Speaker 1: the UK government. Let's not act like the UK government
• 1:37
Speaker 1: is some great body of governance that truly cares about
• 1:43
Speaker 1: their people. Either they don't. Now, some of them will
• 1:46
Speaker 1: talk a big game like here in America, but the
• 1:48
Speaker 1: truth is they don't care. Do you really think that
• 1:51
Speaker 1: a guy that has Lord in front of his name
• 1:54
Speaker 1: gives a goddamn about you? You think he cares about
• 1:57
Speaker 1: anything going on in your life? Or do you think
• 2:00
Speaker 1: think he only cares about your vote? Today's article is
• 2:03
Speaker 1: from The Daily Beast and the headline trump Stonewall's British
• 2:07
Speaker 1: probe into the Epstein scandal. This article was authored by
• 2:12
Speaker 1: Mary Papenfuss. The Trump administration is scrambling to block British
• 2:17
Speaker 1: investigators timely and full access to the unredacted Jeffrey Epstein files,
• 2:21
Speaker 1: which could thwart potential prosecutions in the UK, including against
• 2:26
Speaker 1: former Prince Andrew. Well, considering here in the United States,
• 2:29
Speaker 1: they have no desire to push it forward. Why would
• 2:32
Speaker 1: they want Prince Andrew giving up information that flies directly
• 2:36
Speaker 1: into the face of what they're trying to do. And
• 2:39
Speaker 1: for all their bluster, all their talk, all their tough
• 2:42
Speaker 1: guy nonsense, what are we left with. We're left with
• 2:46
Speaker 1: survivors not getting justice. We're left with Glenn Maxwell getting
• 2:50
Speaker 1: the homy hookup treatment while the rest of us continue
• 2:52
Speaker 1: to get shit on. And I don't know about you,
• 2:55
Speaker 1: but I'm done with it. I'm done with these people
• 2:58
Speaker 1: doing whatever they want with no consequences. Britain's Metropolitan Police
• 3:03
Speaker 1: have sent a formal request to the Department of Justice
• 3:05
Speaker 1: after the DOJ insisted to do so to obtain the original,
• 3:10
Speaker 1: unredacted documents. The formal request was made after an earlier
• 3:15
Speaker 1: UK attempt to obtain the document was ignored. The Guardian reported,
• 3:19
Speaker 1: and look, there are plenty of things that the Trump
• 3:22
Speaker 1: administration is doing that I do not like, but I
• 3:25
Speaker 1: think this petty nonsense that we see time and time
• 3:27
Speaker 1: again from the administration is just pathetic. What are you
• 3:32
Speaker 1: twelve when you have relationships on the world stage, like
• 3:37
Speaker 1: the United States has. Not every single conversation is going
• 3:40
Speaker 1: to go the way you want it to go. Sometimes
• 3:43
Speaker 1: your allies are not going to be in agreement with you,
• 3:46
Speaker 1: and sometimes you're going to be forced to forge alone.
• 3:49
Speaker 1: But that should have no bearing on this part of
• 3:51
Speaker 1: the relationship, especially when we're dealing with a topic like this,
• 3:55
Speaker 1: where it affects all of our lives citizens in the
• 3:58
Speaker 1: UK and the United States. We're affected by this, So
• 4:03
Speaker 1: our governments need to put aside their petty bickering and
• 4:06
Speaker 1: work together. I mean, are we really gonna throw what
• 4:09
Speaker 1: one hundred year relationship down the pish could do because
• 4:12
Speaker 1: Donald Trump's wild and out? Are there no adults in
• 4:16
Speaker 1: the room to take the temperature down anywhere? I mean,
• 4:19
Speaker 1: enough is enough? Like it's one thing to have a
• 4:23
Speaker 1: you know, issue with Spain as America. I get that,
• 4:27
Speaker 1: but there should never be anything that breaks the bond
• 4:30
Speaker 1: between America and the UK. We just have way too
• 4:33
Speaker 1: many shared values and our perspective on the world is
• 4:37
Speaker 1: pretty similar now. Of course, we have different traditions, you know,
• 4:41
Speaker 1: different views about things like guns, et cetera. But when
• 4:45
Speaker 1: you get down to it, we basically have all the
• 4:48
Speaker 1: same goals, all the same issues, all the same desires
• 4:53
Speaker 1: for our families. And the fact that the UK and
• 4:57
Speaker 1: the United States can't get it together and work as
• 5:00
Speaker 1: one when it comes to this issue really shows me
• 5:03
Speaker 1: and tells me a lot about where the relationship is.
• 5:07
Speaker 1: And I think the next administration is going to have
• 5:10
Speaker 1: their hands full when it comes to trying to rebuild
• 5:13
Speaker 1: these relationships and restore trust with our European partners. Now,
• 5:18
Speaker 1: of course it is a two way street, and Europe
• 5:22
Speaker 1: is going to have to tamp down some of the
• 5:24
Speaker 1: rhetoric as well, But that's a conversation for another time.
• 5:31
Speaker 1: Any resolution of the formal request process could take a
• 5:34
Speaker 1: long time, and it's not immediately clear what other conditions
• 5:37
Speaker 1: Trump officials may set before taking any action. Oh, you
• 5:40
Speaker 1: know there's going to be some kind of hurdle to jump.
• 5:45
Speaker 1: You know that there's going to be conditions to be met,
• 5:47
Speaker 1: and you know that the Trump administration is going to
• 5:49
Speaker 1: look to twist the knife because it's in their nature.
• 5:52
Speaker 1: They can't help themselves. Frog and scorpion shit. The Daily
• 5:57
Speaker 1: Beast has reached out to the White House for comment.
• 6:00
Speaker 1: OK police are turning up the heat on both Andrew
• 6:03
Speaker 1: mount Battan Windsor, who was stripped of his royal titles
• 6:05
Speaker 1: in the wake of the Epstein scandal, and on the
• 6:08
Speaker 1: former British ambassador to the US, Peter Mandelsson. And if
• 6:13
Speaker 1: we can do anything in America to help that out,
• 6:15
Speaker 1: we should be doing it. And if that means Congress
• 6:18
Speaker 1: needs to get together and put together some kind of amendment,
• 6:22
Speaker 1: some kind of new law that gives access to the
• 6:26
Speaker 1: files that explicitly talk about Prince Andrew and Mandelsson to
• 6:30
Speaker 1: the UK authorities, I'd be okay with that. I mean,
• 6:32
Speaker 1: is this really the topic where you want to make
• 6:34
Speaker 1: your stand? I mean, it seems like quite the hill
• 6:36
Speaker 1: to die on, and under normal circumstances it would be
• 6:42
Speaker 1: a death knell for a politician politically speaking. But under
• 6:46
Speaker 1: the current environment in America, there's a lot of people
• 6:48
Speaker 1: that just don't care anymore. There's a lot of people
• 6:52
Speaker 1: that really, truly they believe that Jeffrey Epstein was just
• 6:56
Speaker 1: this fictionalized character. At this point, he was a lone
• 6:59
Speaker 1: wolf and he didn't do anything nearly as bad as
• 7:03
Speaker 1: the moral panic police are making it out. That's really
• 7:06
Speaker 1: the narrative at this point, and they're brazenly pushing it.
• 7:10
Speaker 1: When you have members of Congress that are talking about
• 7:13
Speaker 1: giving Glaane Maxwell, of all people, a pardon, How can
• 7:17
Speaker 1: anyone take any of this seriously, like real talk. And
• 7:21
Speaker 1: I'm certainly not a black pill kind of guy, right.
• 7:24
Speaker 1: I like to offer solutions if I have them, But
• 7:27
Speaker 1: when we're talking about this situation right here, besides a
• 7:30
Speaker 1: Special Council, there's nowhere else to go, and all this
• 7:34
Speaker 1: other stuff, I hate to say, is performative at best.
• 7:40
Speaker 1: Thames Valley Police are currently investigating Mount bat and Windsor
• 7:44
Speaker 1: over allegations of possible misconduct and public office concerning claims
• 7:48
Speaker 1: that sensitive information may have been given to Ebstein while
• 7:51
Speaker 1: the former Prince was a trade envoy for his country. Well,
• 7:55
Speaker 1: we saw the emails. I mean, they exist, So I
• 7:58
Speaker 1: think the only question now is if there's enough there
• 8:01
Speaker 1: to charge them and prosecute. The MET launched a similar
• 8:08
Speaker 1: investigation into Mandelson's activities when he was Cabinet Minister. The
• 8:13
Speaker 1: European Anti Fraud Office has also reported that it's investigating
• 8:17
Speaker 1: Mandelssohn during his time as EU Trade Commissioner. So this
• 8:21
Speaker 1: guy was all over the place working for the EU,
• 8:25
Speaker 1: working for the English government. You know, just one of
• 8:28
Speaker 1: those guys, highly connected and completely screwed up. And unfortunately
• 8:34
Speaker 1: that's the vast majority of these people that are in
• 8:37
Speaker 1: this world. They're all degenerates. And I hate to say it,
• 8:40
Speaker 1: but it's true. Every time you turn around, there's a
• 8:43
Speaker 1: new degenerate story about one of these people. And then
• 8:46
Speaker 1: just look at the emails. Look at how they were
• 8:48
Speaker 1: talking about you, Look at how they talked about random
• 8:51
Speaker 1: girls or random people, and you think these are the
• 8:55
Speaker 1: people that care about you. You think these are the
• 8:58
Speaker 1: people that should be righting our laws, controlling the financial sector,
• 9:03
Speaker 1: controlling academia. The American Justice departments full documents are considered
• 9:10
Speaker 1: critical to a successful prosecution of the two men and others.
• 9:14
Speaker 1: As British investigators identify and interview key witnesses, it's difficult
• 9:19
Speaker 1: to make anything stick without those documents. The US could
• 9:23
Speaker 1: have handed them over without making British police go down
• 9:25
Speaker 1: the formal route. A source told The Guardian, Well, Sam
• 9:29
Speaker 1: could be said about Andrew. You guys could have given
• 9:32
Speaker 1: us everything we wanted as well. Remember Jeffrey Berman was
• 9:35
Speaker 1: looking for it. But they didn't want to make the
• 9:38
Speaker 1: Queen mad, so they protected Prince Andrew instead, and that
• 9:43
Speaker 1: of course let to Virginia Roberts never getting the justice
• 9:46
Speaker 1: she deserved, and the UK authorities played a part in that.
• 9:50
Speaker 1: They could have stepped up, they could have done the
• 9:51
Speaker 1: right thing, but they didn't. Now does that mean that
• 9:54
Speaker 1: America should play the same petty games. No, I'm calling
• 9:59
Speaker 1: for a full release of whatever documents are related to Andrew.
• 10:04
Speaker 1: The UK law enforcement team should be given that, and
• 10:06
Speaker 1: they should be given whatever kind of help they need
• 10:09
Speaker 1: if they're going to prosecute people connected to Epstein. And
• 10:12
Speaker 1: it's wild that I even need to say that. That
• 10:14
Speaker 1: should just be a foregone conclusion. Other British police forces
• 10:19
Speaker 1: are probing other aspects of Epstein's activities in the UK,
• 10:23
Speaker 1: including claims that he housed some of his victims in
• 10:25
Speaker 1: London apartments. Virginia Roberts, who died by suicide in twenty
• 10:30
Speaker 1: twenty five at the age of forty one, said that
• 10:32
Speaker 1: she had been trafficked by Epstein in London. Other police
• 10:37
Speaker 1: departments are investigating whether the disgraced financier used various local
• 10:42
Speaker 1: airports in the UK to traffic girls and women. The
• 10:45
Speaker 1: Epstein files are not fading away. The Inspector General of
• 10:50
Speaker 1: the Justice Department has launched an investigation into the Trump
• 10:53
Speaker 1: administration's failure to release all the files required by law. Now,
• 10:57
Speaker 1: most people out there think that's a big deal, right,
• 11:00
Speaker 1: They're like, yo, the OIG's involved, This is going to
• 11:02
Speaker 1: be great. What's our experience with the OIG? Though? Not
• 11:06
Speaker 1: very good, is it? So? I don't expect this report
• 11:09
Speaker 1: to be any better. I expect another whitewash. Oh and
• 11:13
Speaker 1: by the way, it'll be ready for us to read
• 11:16
Speaker 1: in about three years, because that's how the OIG works. Now.
• 11:21
Speaker 1: As far as helping the UK, that should be a
• 11:24
Speaker 1: foregone conclusion. Like I said, there should be no discussion,
• 11:27
Speaker 1: no debate. The stuff should be handed over. And if
• 11:30
Speaker 1: that means you have to send a prosecutor with the
• 11:33
Speaker 1: information to keep it sanitized, great whatever, But ignoring requests
• 11:36
Speaker 1: for information about Epstein and Epstein's criminal empire, that's not
• 11:41
Speaker 1: only unacceptable, but in my opinion, another smoking gun pointing
• 11:45
Speaker 1: directly at a cover up. All the information that goes
• 11:50
Speaker 1: with this episode can be found in the description box.
