GIANTS POSTCAST: Birdsong BLOWS UP as Giants Still Winless Post All-Star Break
The San Francisco Giants are still winless in the unofficial second-half of the MLB season, falling again today 9-5 to the Atlanta Braves. Hayden Birdsong only lasted six batters in this game and could not throw strikes to save his life. He walked four of the six he faced and hit another. With the starting pitching sputtering out of the break, the San Francisco Giants are slowly watching their playoff hopes slip away. The lone bright spot today was Willy Adames, who was 4-5 at the plate.
