- 0:08Speaker 1: Terrible advice. Welcome to the Naughty butN Night Show. It's Friday,
- 0:18Speaker 1: and I'm Rob Shooter and every Friday, our dear friend
- 0:21Speaker 1: Corey Andrew joins us. Hey, Corey, are you there? I
- 0:25Speaker 1: am here, Darling. Hello everyone, Happy Friday, Happy Friday. I
- 0:30Speaker 1: have a little bit of a soul throat today, so
- 0:33Speaker 1: don't be alarmed. I went to the opening night of
- 0:36Speaker 1: Praides last night, the big musical starring Ben Platt. It
- 0:40Speaker 1: is so fantastic and so moving, and I've got to
- 0:44Speaker 1: say Corey, as somebody who loves theater, I'm so happy.
- 0:48Speaker 1: I read all the raves this morning in the New
- 0:50Speaker 1: York Times and everywhere else. I'm so happy that a
- 0:54Speaker 1: real musical, like a musical that is really based on
- 0:58Speaker 1: something d can thrive of today. I'm so sick of
- 1:02Speaker 1: these silly Britney spears. Miss but you don't want to
- 1:08Speaker 1: be Yeah, yeah, they make a movie over again into
- 1:10Speaker 1: a music all doubtfire on stage. I like the movie,
- 1:14Speaker 1: so it's really excited to see it. If you're in
- 1:16Speaker 1: New York, check it out. What time is it, my friends?
- 1:19Speaker 1: It is tea time. So a list star has made
- 1:24Speaker 1: a very harsh claim about Meghan Markle's ambitions to be royal.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Brian Cox, who you know from Succession, He's been around forever.
- 1:34Speaker 1: He's really an acting legend. He is claiming in a
- 1:37Speaker 1: new interview that Meghan clearly had ambitions to join the
- 1:41Speaker 1: royal family before tying the knot in two thousand and eighteen.
- 1:45Speaker 1: The actor, who is now seventy six. He alleges that
- 1:50Speaker 1: marcol had childhood dreams of marrying Prince Charming. He also
- 1:56Speaker 1: noted we shouldn't be surprised by the drama that she
- 2:01Speaker 1: and Harry have created in the family. He said, quote,
- 2:05Speaker 1: I mean, she knew what she was getting into. Now,
- 2:10Speaker 1: a couple of things here. I think this sounds awful.
- 2:13Speaker 1: If you think of ambition as a bad thing, I
- 2:15Speaker 1: don't know. I think it's a good thing. So maybe
- 2:18Speaker 1: she did have ambitions to marry somebody fabulous. She wasn't
- 2:21Speaker 1: going to marry somebody that she didn't think was extraordinary.
- 2:24Speaker 1: She certainly found somebody extraordinary. So that's kind of a
- 2:27Speaker 1: controversial thing to say, but I think we all aim
- 2:29Speaker 1: for that, don't we all as young children want to
- 2:32Speaker 1: marry Prince Charming or somebody that's so special. So I
- 2:35Speaker 1: don't think it's actually as mean as it's sad. It's like,
- 2:38Speaker 1: I'm not sure he's saying this is to be nice,
- 2:41Speaker 1: let's be clean. Yea. Yeah. But actually, when I read
- 2:43Speaker 1: the quotes and I thought about them, Gosh, when I
- 2:46Speaker 1: was little, I wanted to marry an astronaut, Prince Charming,
- 2:50Speaker 1: a ballet dancer. I wanted to marry somebody that was extraordinary.
- 2:54Speaker 1: And so I'm not actually sure it's that mean. It's
- 2:57Speaker 1: only mean if you think ambition is a bad thing.
- 3:01Speaker 1: And a lot of times people say that, don't they
- 3:04Speaker 1: to put you down like a Watch her, she's so ambitious.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Watch him, he thinks he can do anything. Gosh, if
- 3:11Speaker 1: somebody says that about me, I'm like, thank you very much. Yeah. Yeah.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I just watched a really amazing old interview with Madonna.
- 3:17Speaker 1: She was with Jane Polly and she says, the reason
- 3:20Speaker 1: why I've made it in others heaven't is because of
- 3:23Speaker 1: my ambition. It's temperature other people's. And I do agree
- 3:26Speaker 1: with you, Rob with this Meghan Markle thing, like what
- 3:28Speaker 1: girl does not want to marry Prince Charming? Disney made
- 3:31Speaker 1: a whole empire out of that, So it's a thing, right,
- 3:35Speaker 1: so she actually did it. So she did it. She
- 3:38Speaker 1: did it. It never quite it's as wonderful as you think.
- 3:42Speaker 1: But I think that's the truth in everything. When you
- 3:44Speaker 1: look at all these celebrities, or you're scrolling through your
- 3:47Speaker 1: Instagram looking at all these influences and these people that
- 3:49Speaker 1: look across as really happy and successful, that's only part
- 3:52Speaker 1: of the story. It's a caption of the story. I
- 3:55Speaker 1: hope they are happy, but nobody's happy all the time.
- 3:58Speaker 1: And so I think he Ian Cox is actually saying
- 4:01Speaker 1: something really profound. I was really ready to jump on
- 4:04Speaker 1: him and tell him to mind his own reasons, but
- 4:06Speaker 1: when I read the quotes, I was like, it actually
- 4:09Speaker 1: makes a lot of sense. I'm not that ambitious. I
- 4:14Speaker 1: am pushy, and I said, I'm not that ambitious, like
- 4:17Speaker 1: I would be more successful if I was more ambitious.
- 4:20Speaker 1: My level of success actually pretty much reflects my ambition.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I see Andy Cohen is much more ambitious than me.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I don't think it's any more talented. I think, to
- 4:30Speaker 1: be honest, though, and I'm not saying that to build
- 4:32Speaker 1: myself up. I want to build you up. Noughties, you
- 4:35Speaker 1: were just as talented as everybody else. In fact, let's
- 4:38Speaker 1: be honest, most of us are about the same level
- 4:42Speaker 1: of talent. When you're in school growing up, everybody in
- 4:46Speaker 1: your class is about the same. There were one or
- 4:48Speaker 1: two people who were brilliant, and there were one or
- 4:50Speaker 1: two who were terrible. But the bag and the rest
- 4:54Speaker 1: of us that sat in the middle, we all sort
- 4:56Speaker 1: of got to be a see in our exams. And
- 4:58Speaker 1: that's perfectly fine. In life, I am not that ambitious,
- 5:02Speaker 1: and I can say that without putting myself down. I
- 5:06Speaker 1: know where my ambition is. I don't want to work
- 5:09Speaker 1: on weekends. I don't want to be on the road.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I want to be with Bruce. So I want to
- 5:14Speaker 1: be of Derby. It isn't a life that is for me.
- 5:18Speaker 1: So I tell my friends, and when I was a publicist,
- 5:21Speaker 1: my clients, Before you do all the work, decide what
- 5:24Speaker 1: sort of life you want. And I think this is
- 5:26Speaker 1: a good test for all of us. What sort of
- 5:29Speaker 1: life do you want? I value my weekends with Bruce.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I value sleeping in my own bed. I value going
- 5:36Speaker 1: to my local Barbotinos. I talk about it all the
- 5:40Speaker 1: time and having a drink. Yeah, I like it. I
- 5:42Speaker 1: don't want to be bothered, so then I have created
- 5:46Speaker 1: a work life that reflects the life I want to
- 5:49Speaker 1: have in my personal life, because they do go hand
- 5:52Speaker 1: in hand. When I think of someone, you said, Madonna,
- 5:55Speaker 1: who I adore to Madonna's got a life that I
- 5:58Speaker 1: don't want. When I think of her and who's in
- 6:02Speaker 1: her life, who's not in her life all the time
- 6:04Speaker 1: she's on the road, it makes me a bit sad
- 6:07Speaker 1: like that life. And I'm not judging her, I'm judging me.
- 6:11Speaker 1: It's not for me. Where do you fall in this?
- 6:14Speaker 1: Like you love your home, comfort story, your very houseproud
- 6:17Speaker 1: you brought a new home. Yes, would you give up
- 6:19Speaker 1: all that to go on the road and never be home?
- 6:23Speaker 1: You know? I think yes, But I think it would
- 6:26Speaker 1: be something I have to do now while I'm at
- 6:28Speaker 1: this age, because I'm young enough to still sort of
- 6:32Speaker 1: I have a lot of things I want to do still,
- 6:34Speaker 1: So in this instance, yes, I am still ready to
- 6:37Speaker 1: go out there, you know, touring if I have to
- 6:39Speaker 1: a few years to really make sure that my older years,
- 6:43Speaker 1: my later life is exactly what I want. So I
- 6:47Speaker 1: kind of have a balance there. Yeah, give it to me.
- 6:49Speaker 1: I want it all. I want it all. Oh you
- 6:52Speaker 1: want honey? Then you should have it all. I don't.
- 6:55Speaker 1: The only read I'm on to go on too is
- 6:58Speaker 1: the road that takes me to body really quite. I
- 7:02Speaker 1: don't want to say I'm a lazy person because that's
- 7:04Speaker 1: not true. It's not about lazy and that's a mistake
- 7:07Speaker 1: everybody makes. It's about choices, right. I like this life,
- 7:11Speaker 1: I really do. When I was at my quote most successful,
- 7:15Speaker 1: when I had a morning show and I was hanging
- 7:17Speaker 1: out with j Loo and I was on the phone
- 7:19Speaker 1: with Alicia Keys as miserable, I was so lonely because
- 7:25Speaker 1: I never got to see Bruce. I was always working.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Did he look like I was having a lot of fun?
- 7:30Speaker 1: But I was really by myself in a hotel room
- 7:32Speaker 1: A lot of the times. I was just literally wriggled
- 7:36Speaker 1: with loneliness. And now that that isn't my life. So
- 7:40Speaker 1: find the life that's right for you, everybody, which brings
- 7:43Speaker 1: us to air poo. The question of the day. Brian Cox,
- 7:49Speaker 1: a very famous actor. He said that Meghan Markle knew
- 7:53Speaker 1: what she was getting into marrying Prince Harry. Is he right?
- 7:59Speaker 1: Is he right? It's not stupid here. Megan Markle's a
- 8:02Speaker 1: really smart person, right, did she know what she was
- 8:04Speaker 1: getting get into. Hey, go vote on Twitter page at
- 8:08Speaker 1: Naughty Nice rob at Facebook pages and the shoe is
- 8:12Speaker 1: to check back on Monday to hear your results. Hey,
- 8:16Speaker 1: Corey Love, what are you working on? Yes? Well, speaking
- 8:18Speaker 1: of j Lo, you just summoned her clearly. Ben Affleck
- 8:22Speaker 1: reveals that the reason he appeared so miserable at the
- 8:25Speaker 1: Grammys was because of a little with the cameraman. Yeah
- 8:30Speaker 1: so so. Ben Affleck denies having a bad time at
- 8:32Speaker 1: the twenty twenty three Grammy Awards. Let's start there. He
- 8:35Speaker 1: says his unenthused face was actually due to the host,
- 8:39Speaker 1: Trevor Noah, catching him off guard for a skit they
- 8:43Speaker 1: were preparing to do. He says, I saw Noah approach
- 8:46Speaker 1: and I was like, oh god, they are framing us
- 8:48Speaker 1: up for a shot. But I didn't know they were rolling.
- 8:51Speaker 1: The Gone Girl star said he had been joking with
- 8:53Speaker 1: the Jenny from the Block singer, telling her as soon
- 8:55Speaker 1: as they start rolling, I am going to slide away
- 8:57Speaker 1: from you and leave you sitting next to Trevor, and
- 9:00Speaker 1: she goes, you better effing not leave. Affleck added, but
- 9:04Speaker 1: you know, a lip reader who looked closely thought that
- 9:06Speaker 1: what Jennifer Lopez had said, was look more friendly, look motivated.
- 9:12Speaker 1: You know, they have these people out there who read
- 9:13Speaker 1: lips and they always even like match up some audio sometimes.
- 9:16Speaker 1: So that went viral with people like overdone it what
- 9:20Speaker 1: Jennifer Lopez might have been saying to Ben Affleck. But anyway,
- 9:23Speaker 1: I don't really believe this. He looked so miserable, idols
- 9:26Speaker 1: with it. He looked like like I can now that
- 9:28Speaker 1: day or something. Yeah. I think he has that resting face,
- 9:32Speaker 1: resting beeface. Yeah, yeah, Like whenever I've seen him out,
- 9:36Speaker 1: he never is smiling. If I've seen him in bars
- 9:40Speaker 1: and restaurants, and he's not a happy, go lucky fella.
- 9:44Speaker 1: If you want happiness, if you want someone that's very light,
- 9:48Speaker 1: then Matt Damon is your guy. He's just full of sunshine.
- 9:53Speaker 1: You know some people, maybe you're one of these people.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Maybe sunshine is not your bab setting. Maybe things come
- 10:02Speaker 1: along and it makes you really happy. I'm the opposite.
- 10:06Speaker 1: I'm really quite a happy person and things come along
- 10:09Speaker 1: and make me sad. It's like it's very rare that
- 10:11Speaker 1: something comes along and makes me much happier than I
- 10:14Speaker 1: am already. Like I just Bruce it annoys him, my husband,
- 10:18Speaker 1: he said, I pop out of bed like a piece
- 10:20Speaker 1: of toast. I can't wait for my legs to move
- 10:25Speaker 1: and my minute, my eyes open, I start to talk.
- 10:28Speaker 1: But some of my friends and I've come to like
- 10:31Speaker 1: really love them for who they are. Yeah, they're not searching.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Misty's not a morning person. Oh no, Now you don't
- 10:40Speaker 1: normally get up very very early either. I know for
- 10:43Speaker 1: the podcast Coreer, you get up and works. It's not
- 10:45Speaker 1: just about getting up, Actually it's working. And I don't
- 10:48Speaker 1: want anybody, you know, it's like on the Housepope when
- 10:51Speaker 1: they pulled back the curtain. You don't want to hear
- 10:53Speaker 1: that stuff. So I know you don't want to hear this,
- 10:55Speaker 1: But honestly, for twenty minutes, I know it sounds like
- 10:57Speaker 1: we're having a lot of fun, and we are, but
- 10:59Speaker 1: there is. It's a bit of work that games. So
- 11:02Speaker 1: it's not just getting up early, it's being prepared and
- 11:05Speaker 1: ready to go. What sort of personally are you more
- 11:09Speaker 1: of a night person, Corey or am so? I am
- 11:12Speaker 1: not a morning person at all, But I am a
- 11:15Speaker 1: happy person. But Joey way before me, like he literally
- 11:19Speaker 1: just came back from a walk. You know what. I'm like.
- 11:23Speaker 1: He's already been up and exercised, and I'm just like,
- 11:25Speaker 1: I have one eye open right now as we're talking.
- 11:28Speaker 1: So but once I'm up, I'm the same. I'm already
- 11:32Speaker 1: texting in my bed like it's you know seven, you're happy. Yeah,
- 11:36Speaker 1: I'm happy. I knew from the moment I met. We
- 11:38Speaker 1: had a drink together at Botinas. We didn't know each
- 11:40Speaker 1: other at all, but we arranged a drink. I reached
- 11:42Speaker 1: out to you and I loved your work and I
- 11:44Speaker 1: thought I have to meet him, and then I knew
- 11:47Speaker 1: you were a happy person. You know. I think it's
- 11:49Speaker 1: because you're so creative. My Bruce is still asleep. Bruce
- 11:53Speaker 1: doesn't go to bed until like one or two am. Same,
- 11:55Speaker 1: he's much more creative. In fact, we only probably spend
- 11:58Speaker 1: a few hours together with each other each day because
- 12:00Speaker 1: by the time by the time he's up, like, I'm
- 12:04Speaker 1: going back to bed. Yeah, you're we're the same. Actually
- 12:06Speaker 1: I'm much later than Joe, and but I'm creating. I'm
- 12:09Speaker 1: either on I'm video editing, or I'm making music or
- 12:12Speaker 1: I'm I'm carrying my next world take over. Yah, Bruce,
- 12:16Speaker 1: there's a lot of his writing late at night, and
- 12:19Speaker 1: his writing partner, Barry Barry Manilow is in La Palm Springs. Actually,
- 12:23Speaker 1: so it's a three hour time difference. So if it's
- 12:26Speaker 1: Swart at eleven o'clock there, it's at twelve one, two
- 12:30Speaker 1: o'clock in the morning here. And they say songwriters, it's
- 12:33Speaker 1: so interesting, And I think people that write books or
- 12:35Speaker 1: not or anything else would say this late at night.
- 12:39Speaker 1: There's something called your critical consciousness is turned off, so
- 12:43Speaker 1: that little voice in your head that keeps telling you
- 12:46Speaker 1: you're not good enough, you're not smart enough, this is
- 12:48Speaker 1: not really funny, this is not good work. That voice
- 12:51Speaker 1: is turned down at night, which is why people make
- 12:54Speaker 1: such bad decisions in bars and alcohol. Let's put it
- 12:57Speaker 1: like that. Moving along, so Aby Roebak and TJ. Holmes
- 13:02Speaker 1: are pitching the Ellen producers a new TV show. So
- 13:07Speaker 1: the two of them believe that their romance is actually
- 13:09Speaker 1: going to be the key to their success and what
- 13:11Speaker 1: got them fired they now think could be actually their
- 13:15Speaker 1: biggest selling point. So they are aggressively pitching their own
- 13:20Speaker 1: show to the producers behind Ellen. And they said that
- 13:24Speaker 1: they really welcome all the ongoing coverage about their relationship
- 13:29Speaker 1: because they think this is going to help them sellers show,
- 13:32Speaker 1: I'm not quite so sure. And they said it's easier
- 13:35Speaker 1: for them to pitch a show if they are in
- 13:37Speaker 1: the news than if nobody is talking about them. Their
- 13:41Speaker 1: chemistry is going to be a big selling point. Now,
- 13:43Speaker 1: we should point out on ABC when they took over
- 13:46Speaker 1: ABC GMA three, it was their chemistry that turned it
- 13:50Speaker 1: into a hit. However, other sources are pointing out that
- 13:54Speaker 1: ABC sold a brother sister chemistry not set. So, yeah,
- 14:00Speaker 1: we knew they got a log, we knew they were
- 14:02Speaker 1: great friends, we knew they teased each other, but I
- 14:05Speaker 1: think we thought of them as as just great friends,
- 14:08Speaker 1: brother and sister. When we reveal what it was revealed,
- 14:11Speaker 1: they didn't reveal it when they were exposed of being
- 14:13Speaker 1: a couple, Yeah, it got a little bit creepy. It's
- 14:15Speaker 1: going to be so interesting to see because Kelly Ripper
- 14:18Speaker 1: has been so successful with all her co hosts. Now
- 14:21Speaker 1: her husband's taken over, so we will know that they're
- 14:24Speaker 1: doing it at night. And do we still want to
- 14:26Speaker 1: talk to them in them? Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
- 14:29Speaker 1: It reminds me of also with the Kelly Ripper thing,
- 14:31Speaker 1: it reminds me of when Cathy Lee was there and
- 14:33Speaker 1: every five minute like Frank Frank, Frank, Frank Frank. And
- 14:38Speaker 1: so maybe it gets annoying too that their spouse is
- 14:41Speaker 1: so much in the mix. So I don't know about
- 14:43Speaker 1: this t J. Holmes thing. It could you know, what
- 14:46Speaker 1: stranger shows have been successful. It could happen. I don't know,
- 14:49Speaker 1: it could happen. I mean, he's lovely. I've known Amy forever.
- 14:53Speaker 1: I wish them the best. Although Ellen producers, is that
- 14:58Speaker 1: a wise choice after what happened when they when they
- 15:02Speaker 1: all exposed as Ellen has been mean, the producers will Yeah, no,
- 15:08Speaker 1: pick a different chef. You're going to pitch producers, pick
- 15:11Speaker 1: the Oprah producers. But she would never touch that. She's
- 15:15Speaker 1: not going to touch it. Yeah, she's not gonna touch it. Hey,
- 15:17Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:19Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Nice
- 15:24Speaker 1: Show Umbro Shooter with our dear friend Corey Andrew. Hey, Corey,
- 15:28Speaker 1: let's get to the polls. Yesterday we talked about Prince
- 15:32Speaker 1: Harry how he will attend the coronation, But Megan isn't
- 15:37Speaker 1: brave enough to go, claims Diana's former butler, so we
- 15:42Speaker 1: talked a lot about is that the nice thing to say? Brave?
- 15:45Speaker 1: I think she's braver than him. However, if we take
- 15:48Speaker 1: the butler at face value and Harry goes, Megan doesn't,
- 15:54Speaker 1: that question was should Megan go with Harry? Eighty percent
- 15:59Speaker 1: said yeah, she should be there to support him. They're
- 16:02Speaker 1: not going to be that welcoming. And so we've all
- 16:05Speaker 1: gone to birthday parties, family events, maybe even work. If
- 16:10Speaker 1: you have a friend with you, when you walk into
- 16:12Speaker 1: a hostile environment, it's always much better. So I agree, Megan.
- 16:17Speaker 1: If Harry goes, I think you should go to don't
- 16:20Speaker 1: forget to vote on today's pole. We're going to a
- 16:22Speaker 1: Twitter page I had Naughty and Eyes rob or our
- 16:25Speaker 1: Facebook page, nuty gossip and be sure it's check back
- 16:29Speaker 1: on Monday to hear your results. And now it's time
- 16:35Speaker 1: for our nice of the day. Yes, well, Sherry's shepherd.
- 16:42Speaker 1: This is so funny. She credits being locked up for
- 16:47Speaker 1: locking her success. Now check that she was in jail.
- 16:50Speaker 1: She was in jail. It's the craziest story. I was like, wait, what,
- 16:52Speaker 1: so she says, if I had she says, no, I
- 16:54Speaker 1: didn't either. It's so crazy. She says, Yeah, I went
- 16:56Speaker 1: to jail for not paying my tickets. At the time,
- 17:00Speaker 1: I did not think being in jail was a good moment,
- 17:02Speaker 1: But looking back, I learned to pay my bills. So
- 17:05Speaker 1: jail was that classroom. She says, it was a life
- 17:08Speaker 1: lesson and now I pay my bills on time now.
- 17:11Speaker 1: The former co host of The View says that she
- 17:13Speaker 1: served eight days for owing ten thousand dollars and unpaid
- 17:18Speaker 1: moving violations in the early nineties at the beginning of
- 17:21Speaker 1: her showbiz career, like who breaks up that many moving violations?
- 17:25Speaker 1: Like yeah, Sherry, I love her, love her honesty. This
- 17:32Speaker 1: show makes me gid watch. I know, I was frightened.
- 17:37Speaker 1: I was going to miss Wendy, and I do miss
- 17:39Speaker 1: Wendy to a certain extent still. But Sherry is just
- 17:43Speaker 1: a breath of fresh air. And I watched and there's
- 17:47Speaker 1: no meanness. There was a meanness to Wendy. Wendy had
- 17:50Speaker 1: a mean side, Sherry, Doesn't I love it? This story
- 17:53Speaker 1: made me scream. Maybe then maybe we all have to
- 17:56Speaker 1: have norty things happened to us to make us eyes Sherry, Sherry, Okay,
- 18:01Speaker 1: let's do add naughtiest the day The View is the naughtiest.
- 18:05Speaker 1: It's been slammed for not asking Hugh Grand about that
- 18:08Speaker 1: rude interview he had at the Oscars with Ashley Graham.
- 18:11Speaker 1: So he was on the View and the first question
- 18:14Speaker 1: you would have thought they would have asked him was
- 18:17Speaker 1: about why were you so rude? And the askers not
- 18:19Speaker 1: one person brought it up, and people on social media
- 18:23Speaker 1: were reacting, awful, you didn't bring up Ashley Graham. Another
- 18:26Speaker 1: person said, I'm guessing he wouldn't discuss it on the View.
- 18:30Speaker 1: He's so arrogant. A third person added, spineless. No one
- 18:35Speaker 1: asked him about his red carpet interview. So to remind everybody,
- 18:39Speaker 1: he was on the pre oscar show, on the red carpet,
- 18:42Speaker 1: and Ashley Graham asked him some questions, but what he's
- 18:46Speaker 1: he wearing? What's he excited about? The regular questions and stuff?
- 18:49Speaker 1: Were they they smartest questions from the world. No, but
- 18:51Speaker 1: she wasn't on sixty minutes. She was on the red carpet.
- 18:53Speaker 1: She was in the New York magazine. It was the
- 18:56Speaker 1: red carpet. Everybody else managed to answer these questions, but
- 18:59Speaker 1: somehow Hugh was too special, and some people are even
- 19:02Speaker 1: saying he was a jerk. Let me tell you something.
- 19:05Speaker 1: I've known him a long time and I've interviewed him
- 19:08Speaker 1: several times. This is who he is. He let the
- 19:14Speaker 1: whole world see who he is. And if you're okay
- 19:19Speaker 1: with that, like Hugh Grant, if you don't like that,
- 19:23Speaker 1: maybe he's not the guy for you. Rude friends with him. Okay,
- 19:30Speaker 1: let's end with a moment. Being your authentic self doesn't
- 19:37Speaker 1: guarantee success. So we talk a lot about you've got
- 19:41Speaker 1: to be your authentic self, You've got to be you.
- 19:44Speaker 1: I believe that, But he doesn't guarantee success. But what
- 19:48Speaker 1: I can tell you is being your inauthentic self that
- 19:54Speaker 1: guarantees failure. I love that advice, absolutely agree totally. It's truth.
- 20:01Speaker 1: It is the truth here. I think we all hope, gosh,
- 20:04Speaker 1: if we just be ourselves we will be successful. And
- 20:07Speaker 1: there's so many self help people out there telling you
- 20:10Speaker 1: be yourself and you will be happy, you will be successful.
- 20:13Speaker 1: That might not be the case. But what I can
- 20:15Speaker 1: guarantee you is if you are not yourself, if you
- 20:20Speaker 1: pretend to be somebody else, if you are inauthentic, that
- 20:25Speaker 1: will guarantee failure. Okay, that is it for this week.
