  SPEAKER_00: And I noticed something this morning when I sat down to spend time with the Lord in his word, in prayer.

  SPEAKER_00: I journal my prayers because my brain is like squirrel, I get very distracted.

  SPEAKER_00: Um and then lately at the end of my time with the Lord, I will just sit, whether I'll ask him a question and wait for his answer, or I'll simply say, God speak.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm listening.

  SPEAKER_00: What do you want to say?

  SPEAKER_00: Um but I noticed this morning that when I sat down to read, my mind was like all over the place.

  SPEAKER_00: Like I was antsy sitting there, um, and I don't think I had one sip of my coffee, so no, it wasn't that.

  SPEAKER_00: Um and like by all measures, probably would have read as like anxious, right?

  SPEAKER_00: Even though I had just woken up.

  SPEAKER_00: What did I have to be anxious about, right?

  SPEAKER_00: Um, and so but but then what I what I noticed that was much more important was as I got into God's word and as I wrote and prayed to him, praising him, glorifying his name, digging into his word, you know, asking questions and and just seeking him, all that started to fade away.

  SPEAKER_00: And I just noticed myself being very calm, my mind being so clear, and like all signs of just anxious, jitteriness, squirrel mentality, like had all faded by the time that I was wrapping up and asking God.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, and today I asked him, you know, I this past weekend he had led me to write out my testimony um specifically about marriage and our story and why God like chose to use me for a high-level wife.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, and so as I was, as I wrote that out, you know, I was just like, I'll probably read this at some point to the women, whether it's a post that I type out or or on a call or whatever, you know, like that's the whole point of the testimony is that God is glorified through it for all who hear it, that they're in in amazement and awe at him and glorify him is their response.

  SPEAKER_00: So this morning I just wrapped up my time, you know, with God, I'm here, I'm listening, and then just asking him, do you want me to read my testimony today on the high level wife call?

  SPEAKER_00: And it was an immediate yes in my soul.

  SPEAKER_00: And I was like, okay, bit.
• 3:18
  SPEAKER_00: I love it when the Lord answers me like that because it's very direct and very clear.

  SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, okay.
• 3:23
  SPEAKER_00: Um, and so I did.
• 3:26
  SPEAKER_00: And there wasn't a dry eye on the call.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, and it just goes to show the power of our testimonies of God taking what the enemy has meant to harm us and not letting it go to waste and using it for the good and saving of many, and through that process, maturing us and and deepening our faith in him.

  SPEAKER_00: And, you know, through that process of writing out my testimony, I shared this on the call with the wives today.

  SPEAKER_00: I just said, as I went back and I read it, and as I was writing it out, you know, I just saw the hand of God at work in my life in ways that I like in moments in ways that I I couldn't have orchestrated, but it was so evident and obvious that God did this, right?

  SPEAKER_00: Um, and then like the overarching theme of unfaithfulness, right?

  SPEAKER_00: And faithfulness, as in God is faithful, God is faithful in the face of faith, unfaithfulness, faithlessness.

  SPEAKER_00: God is faithful.

  SPEAKER_00: And through the development of my testimony over the years and decades, God has been faithful and I can trust him.

  SPEAKER_00: My trust is in him.

  SPEAKER_00: I know that the trust that I have in the Lord now, it is not shaken.

  SPEAKER_00: It is a firm foundation I stand on.
• 4:55
  SPEAKER_00: It doesn't matter.
• 4:56
  SPEAKER_00: Um, it doesn't matter what happens or what's thrown my way.

  SPEAKER_00: Like I can't be shaken from this foundation of trust that has been built in me by the hand of God Himself.

  SPEAKER_00: And uh there goes the bus back on its way out.

  SPEAKER_00: Um you know, and that's something that is yes, for me, for my good, right?

  SPEAKER_00: God is bringing to completion the good work that He started in me, but Jesus has not returned and I'm not dead yet.

  SPEAKER_00: So I am still a work in his his faithful hands.

  SPEAKER_00: Um but the point of the testimony is for people to be in awe and amazement for their response to be to glorify God.

  SPEAKER_00: And that's exactly what happened today through through me sharing my testimony with the wives and uh all glory to God.

  SPEAKER_00: And you know, and also just being an example of having the experience of walking these things firsthand, right?

  SPEAKER_00: Not theory, but experience by the Lord's goodness and provision in my life.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, so that now I get to the I went through all of that for these women, for you, wife, for you, so that you can have someone paint a picture of possibility of the goodness of God and what he can do and what he will do in and through us, the transformation only he can bring, but it comes on the the heels of our our complete surrender and letting go and laying down.

  SPEAKER_00: And when when when everything else is is shaken and broken and destroyed, we can stand firmly rooted and grounded in his love.

  SPEAKER_00: And it's because of the Holy Spirit in us, we don't walk in a spirit of fear, but of power and love and self-control.

  SPEAKER_00: And we are able to, because we have the Holy Spirit in us doing what we cannot do and producing fruit in and through us, we are able to walk and speak and act in self-control and love and mercy, showing mercy, where the world would tell us that we are justified to seek revenge, right?

  SPEAKER_00: Doing the opposite of what the world demands or says that we would completely be validated in, right?

  SPEAKER_00: That while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, being able to show that kind of love.

  SPEAKER_00: And that's what I was able to share through the testimony that God has led me through and developed in me to be deployed now, and it's all for his glory.

  SPEAKER_00: So, what is it that you're walking through?
• 7:57
  SPEAKER_00: What are you enduring?
• 7:59
  SPEAKER_00: What suffering that is going to be for another woman, for another person, so that their response is awe and amazement and to glorify God because of it.

  SPEAKER_00: Think about that and let it change your perspective of the challenges and the hard things, those moments when you're crying out, why God, why does this keep happening to me?

  SPEAKER_00: And those moments you are able to endure because you know that it's for such a greater purpose than you can understand.

  SPEAKER_00: As Jesus said, you do not know yet what I am doing.

  SPEAKER_00: May that be the case for you and just know, just know deep, deep in your heart and in your mind that God is doing something far greater and for his glory for the good and saving of many.

  SPEAKER_00: It's that time of day.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, just know that what God is doing, you do not yet know.

  SPEAKER_00: But you will have a point where you get to look back and you get to see the goodness of God and his hand performing acts in your life.

  SPEAKER_00: Like actually, right before I recorded this podcast episode, um, I walked out to the mailbox and there was a check in there.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, and it was funny because as I opened the mailbox, I was like, you know, we've had a lot of expenses in this move, but we were obedient to the Lord.

  SPEAKER_00: And, you know, we're not fearing, we're not worrying about, you know, what's gonna happen because we've seen God move before, where the math did math and yet he did it and he made a way.

  SPEAKER_00: Right.

  SPEAKER_00: And that didn't mean that we were just foolish, but that he, you know, we were being good stewards as best as we could um by his power and help, the help of his Holy Spirit, right?

  SPEAKER_00: Um, and I just had that thought as I opened my box, and sure enough, there was a check in there from our, I think it was like the escrow mortgage something or other.

  SPEAKER_00: Anyway, you know, and we found out last week, I think it was, that because get this, if you're a military wife, this will probably blow your mind too.

  SPEAKER_00: We were overweight on our poundage for moving for the moving company, and we had asked them to reweigh it.

  SPEAKER_00: They still said we were overweight.
• 10:25
  SPEAKER_00: We just can't fathom this because in the past, when we had moved with less people, we were never even close to the weight.

  SPEAKER_00: We didn't move our gym, we didn't move any of that stuff.

  SPEAKER_00: Like there was so much that we didn't move, and yet we were overweight.
• 10:38
  SPEAKER_00: So I don't know what's going on there.
• 10:40
  SPEAKER_00: But what that means, if you're not a military spouse or military personnel, you know that that means you you likely will have to pay for the overage.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, but we also rented a U-Haul to do like a partial Diddy move, um, which we were expecting that the military would cover that because then when we were over our weight, they won't cover the extra the U-Haul.

  SPEAKER_00: So getting that check today, it was just, I just chuckled to myself and thanked God for providing for whatever expense that we didn't account for or accounted wrongly, and yet he is still good to provide.

  SPEAKER_00: And we just have to be obedient.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, and we have been, and it's all glory to him.
• 11:25
  SPEAKER_00: And I'm thankful for brothers like Tommy and my stepmom Ange, you know, for calling us higher and challenging us on decisions um for me and the kids to stay behind and just Zach to go and how that that was not, that was not gonna be obedient to the Lord.

  SPEAKER_00: And instead, we needed to all come to Kentucky to to set the standard and keep it high and and you know God has done so much in this.

  SPEAKER_00: It's it's it's just been awesome.

  SPEAKER_00: So anyway, um, God provides, let him provide your testimony, let him, let him truly.

  SPEAKER_00: You know, there's that like let them, let them.

  SPEAKER_00: Who cares?

  SPEAKER_00: Let him let him not just let him, but ask him and believe that he will.
