- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Welcome to Shit Mom Say.
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: I'm your host, Destiny.
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: This is my co-host LD.
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: Is this thing on?
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 0:09SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: Perfect.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: This thing is on.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: Uh happy Thursday, uh, everybody, when this gets released, but happy Friday to those who see us today.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: Um, what to talk about today?
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: You want to talk about how you fell in a rut and potentially broke your ankle?
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: The injury report.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: Um, unfortunately, about two weeks ago, I fell in a rut that a tree company, I'm not gonna say which tree company, because I don't want to get sued, made my driveway.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: Um, well, I ended up falling in it and I heard a snap, and there goes my ankle.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: Now I'm in a boot for four weeks.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: That's no bueno.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: And I rolled it again because a certain hospital doesn't know how to assess the book.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: She rolled it again because she didn't wear that boot like she was supposed to.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: No, no, they didn't even give me the boot.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: They gave me a gel cast that the girl who was supposed to put it on didn't even know how to do.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: So she came in there and I can't move my foot.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, yo, like something up.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: And she's like, well, and they were like, oh well, x-rays show that there's nothing wrong, it's just a mild sprain.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Um, we're gonna send you off with a gel cast and some crutches.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, oh, okay.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: And Wyatt, my baby daddy, was like, um, should she be able to move her foot?
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: And the girl that comes in here is like, um, I'd say so, but it might hurt.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: Well.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: Well, no shit.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: Um, so then she comes in there with a gel cast, she's like, Oh, I've never put one of these on before.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: I don't even know how to put one of these on.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, fantastic.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: Yay! And they're like, Well, you might have to get follow-up x-rays, and that's exactly what I did.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: And it turns out it is a severe sprain with a possible fracture, and I go back in four weeks to see and possible um tendons ripped in my book.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: But she's supposed to be wearing a boot and ask me if when I saw her today, she's wearing her boot.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: I had to drive.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: I can't drive with a boot on.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: You could take it off.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: See, but I had I had too many, I had too many places to go.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: Put it back on.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: I had too many places to go, so I couldn't do that.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: Also, you guys notice something new?
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: We'll wait.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: We'll wait.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: Anybody?
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: Our background isn't ghetto.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it still is a little bit.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they're still still working.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: We're still given um Mimol's trailer.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: Um, and that's okay.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: Um as a fellow trailer person.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: So you live in a Mimol's trailer.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: I love, I I love Mima's trailer walls.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: I love floor walls, so they're nostalgic.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: But eventually you're not gonna be right up in our faces.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: Eventually we'll be back just a smidge and have some signage.
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: Maybe.
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: I feel like we look like talking heads.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: I don't really care.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: I think we look fine.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: But, anyways, my beach trip was amazing.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: And if you watch the last, what, like, four episodes.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna recap.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: Just gonna say, you know, she's at the beach, and we have our normal moo attire on today, which looks so much better.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: That's um give her tank.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: You wanna know what's so funny?
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: Is I was talking to Scarlett, my sister-in-law, and I was telling her about the Moo Moo's and how much I hated them.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: And she was like, Oh, I actually thought they were cute.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: I was like, girl, it's yours.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: You can have it.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: You can have it.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: Because that's the ugliest thing I've ever seen in my life.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: But anyways, awesome beach trip, probably one of the best ones we've ever had.
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: Even though you weren't there.
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: Um, and got new tattoos while I was down there with my cousin.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: Uh Platinum Pelican is where we go.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: It used to be psychotic ink, but now it is a different place.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: So we've been going there, I've been going there at least for the last four or five years.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: And I get Aaron to do my work, and he is amazing.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: Amazing.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: So he did three tattoos on me this time.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: Speaking of tattoos and piercings, um, I got my nose pierced about what, four months ago?
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: It has not been no four months.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: July?
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: It's October.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: I don't feel like we did it in July, didn't we?
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: We did for Regan's birthday.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, that's right.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, it was like four month that was like f no, that wasn't four months ago.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: August, September, three months.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: And apparently nose piercings take from like six months to a year to heal.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: Well, I thought mine was healed because apparently she was lying.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: And I took it out and I'm pretty sure I said, Oh god.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: And um I was on FaceTime with my best friend because I'm like, I'm gonna put a hoop in because you know, like she's fine, like she's out.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: Anyway, the hoops I got were too freaking big anyway.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: What age did you get?
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: Uh it was a smaller one.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: But they were too like it was like an earring, and I bought 'em at Walmart.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: I have one from Amazon that's supposed to arrive today.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: A hoop.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: We'll see how it goes.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: Let me know.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it was only like ten bucks.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: It's got like a clasp on like it eclipsed Yeah, because mine they like separated.
- 5:32SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, those definitely are for your ears, because that's what I've got in my ears.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: Well, you can use them for your nose too.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: But they're That's a lot of tissue to get around.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: Whatever.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, ask me how I know.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: And I obviously you see there's not a hoop in my nose today.
- 5:47SPEAKER_01: So um Or if you know where we can get some cute hoops, then let us know.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: Whenever I was getting my Dolly tattoo at hashtag not sponsored, but love them, Love Inc., they had some really cute, like, earrings and stuff.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: But I don't know how much they are, because I'm not paying$20 for a no soup.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: Like I'm not sorry, I'm not doing that.
- 6:13SPEAKER_01: And what's ironic about where I got my tattoos in Clearwater, I literally paid only$50 more for three tattoos that were kind of big.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: Well, that's what I'm saying.
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: That's like Yeah.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: Well, that's like in Pittsburgh where I paid so for my oh god.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: Okay, hold on.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: Tattoo tour.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: Um The Skyline, um Yeah, I didn't check.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: Oh now it's on there.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: Uh The Mind Over Matter and Oh my gosh.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: Her I paid, what, 120?
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: In Pittsburgh, in downtown Pittsburgh, in like a big city, at a really well known place.
- 7:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they were actually pretty awesome.
- 7:03SPEAKER_01: There was a lady in there that was just buying like random shirts and stuff.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, apparently.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: She's like, when are y'all getting new apparel?
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: I know, we're like, new apparel.
- 7:11SPEAKER_01: We didn't know they even had apparel to begin with.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but they were really great, and I hope that we can uh stop by there whenever we're I hope so too.
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: But I don't know when we're gonna have the time.
- 7:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because we're like a day sh a cut a day short pretty much this time.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and um there's Halloween and stuff because we're going during Halloween and like we did last year, and that was really fun.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: Them full-size candy bars.
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's the nice part.
- 7:34SPEAKER_01: Oh, what's so funny is so I was telling I work with some people who uh are from Pittsburgh, and so I was talking to one of them the other day, and I was like, Yeah, we're uh staying in Squirrel Hill.
- 7:44SPEAKER_01: We went trick-or-treating there last year, and it was like really nice.
- 7:49SPEAKER_01: They gave us like uh full-size candy bars, and he was like, I bet they did.
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: That's rich country up there.
- 7:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean And I was like, you know what?
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: I could actually tell that with some of the houses that we passed by.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: Well, and the people really I mean, so my daughter was only what one and a half, a little over one and a half.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: Um, and she tech no difficulties on them.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: And she um she is uh really what is going on down there, man.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: Well lore anyway, she um doesn't like certain textures, which the Halloween costumes, I don't know.
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: Like, I feel like they used to be so much better quality, but now they just feel like mesh paper bags that are scratchy.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: And she hated like she liked the idea of her costume, but she hated her costume.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: And um, so we didn't really get to trick or treat much and she was just not having it.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: She was horrible, yeah.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: She was just not having it, and so we decided to kind of miss out on that.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: But we hit up a couple of It was also a little cold.
- 8:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: And Shepard was my son, he was only what, like four months?
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: Um, but he was all bundled up and stuff.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: But um, but we hit up a few houses and their buckets still got pretty full.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: Like we we hit up maybe three, four houses, and they were still pretty full.
- 9:08SPEAKER_01: We got so much candy that we had to empty it out into a Walmart bag and then keep going.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: And uh like I said, we hit up like two or like three or four houses and talked to a couple of people.
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: All the grown-ups were very excited when we got back with that bag of candy.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 9:24SPEAKER_01: Now I can't because like I can't check their candy because W we actually still check we check the candy.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: I but I know what you know.
- 9:33SPEAKER_00: You're quality controlling.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but let me tell you, speaking of speaking of Halloween candy, um that is ex- that shit's expensive.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: I was literally getting ready to just say that.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: I was wondering what you were gonna say, but I was gonna chime in and say what's because I was like, man, I'm really wanting some because my favorite Reese's are either the trees, the eggs, or the pumpkins.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: So anything kind of like because they're just that smooth chocolate.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, it's so good.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: So good.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: Anyway.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: Jesus Christ.
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: Like I'm literally salivating.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: I'm uncomfortable.
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: Anyway, eight dollars for a bag of Reese's pumpkins.
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: For just the bag of the pumpkins?
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: Well, I did notice that like the bag of the assorted or whatever is It's a little cheaper.
- 10:20SPEAKER_01: The good size bags.
- 10:22SPEAKER_01: Oh, well, see those are like$20.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: I'm talking about if you were planning on handing out candy.
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: Well, and you know what?
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: COVID really struck from us, and I and you know, I was what, 13 when COVID happened?
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: I guess, I don't know.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: Fourteen?
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: Keep on keeping on with the plot.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: Well, and obviously it didn't take as much from me as it took from everybody else, but one thing that it did take away was the door-to-door trick-or-treating and replace them with trunk or treat.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: I hate that shit.
- 10:51SPEAKER_01: We already talked about that on the last one.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: Okay, well, recap, I hate that shit.
- 10:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: And I'm still pissed.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: I'm done with trunk or treats.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: Let's bring back door-to-door.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: Anyway.
- 11:03SPEAKER_01: Autumn Lease Festivals this weekend.
- 11:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, um, which, I mean, this is gonna be out next week, but um, if you go, if you went, tell us what your favorite parts were and what I like to eat.
- 11:16SPEAKER_01: What'd you have to go eat?
- 11:17SPEAKER_01: Mine is a collard green sandwich.
- 11:19SPEAKER_01: I have to get it every single year.
- 11:21SPEAKER_01: Last year, me and my husband went like all three days that it was open and got just the collard green sandwiches.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: We know exactly where they're gonna be at on the little strip of the street there, so we usually park down close to where they're gonna be, so we can literally just walk in, get our collard green sandwiches and oh, and the donuts, because they're right there next to each other, and walk out.
- 11:44SPEAKER_01: If you don't know what a collard green sandwich is, it's literally cornbread, uh, fat back, and collard greens as a sandwich, and it's divine.
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: About as bag woods as it really gets around here.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: Um I bet if you told somebody that from like, I don't know, like I was telling people at work about it.
- 12:03SPEAKER_01: Um LA.
- 12:04SPEAKER_01: They'd be like, they'd be like, hell they'd be like, yo, what?
- 12:09SPEAKER_01: That's because they're more in tune about what meth and stuff is out there.
- 12:15SPEAKER_01: Anywho.
- 12:17SPEAKER_00: What are you what did you want it?
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: What did you want?
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: Um ribbon fries.
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: Um, I have seen them obviously all the like through like the fairs and stuff.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: I want some ribbon fries.
- 12:27SPEAKER_01: Me and Daryl used to tear up some wild bills root beer, but they just got so.
- 12:32SPEAKER_01: I don't like root beer.
- 12:35SPEAKER_01: Hot take, I don't like root beer.
- 12:38SPEAKER_01: I don't I would drink so much, because usually if you get like the souvenir cup, then you can go and get free refills the whole time that you're there.
- 12:44SPEAKER_01: So we would get it at the very beginning.
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: And then if if you know the Autumn Leaves Festival, you know.
- 12:50SPEAKER_01: But if you don't know, it is a very, very big show.
- 12:53SPEAKER_01: Um, so it's one of the main streets in Mount Erie, and then they have like little side streets, and it's all vendors all the way through there.
- 13:00SPEAKER_01: Food, crafts, all kinds of things.
- 13:04SPEAKER_01: And so if you get your drink at the very beginning, you can get quite a few refills.
- 13:08SPEAKER_01: You get your money's worth.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because well, and last year, um, it was all the way down to that one stoplight before like um like that one stoplight.
- 13:19SPEAKER_01: No, we did see it because Derek talked about how expensive it was.
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: But it wasn't there for a couple years.
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, I mean that and the fare.
- 13:29SPEAKER_01: I ain't I ain't fepping with no fare.
- 13:31SPEAKER_01: No, um, well for one they're getting shot out in the freaking parking lot.
- 13:35SPEAKER_01: It's ridiculous.
- 13:38SPEAKER_01: And then I've seen so many TikToks about how bad the food is this year and how expensive it is.
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: Well, I knew the like expensive spark uh hello, words.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: Um, well, so the county fair came in what last week?
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: Um and we might have talked about this last week, but I don't think we did.
- 13:58SPEAKER_00: Um, no, I don't think we did.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: Well, um to get in per adult is six dollars, parking is two, um, wristbands are uh thirty-two for rides.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: Um and that's crazy.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: That's insane.
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: Unless you go on like carload night, which is like the best bang for your buck, but it's on like a random like Tuesday.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: And uh my man is at home during the week, so we obviously wouldn't go without him.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: Well, we ended up getting the stomach.
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: No, I ended up screwing up my foot.
- 14:38SPEAKER_01: Well, there was one thing that I saw, it was like literally a chicken skewer.
- 14:43SPEAKER_01: One chicken skewer.
- 14:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: With plain white rice for$25.
- 14:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, sounds about right.
- 14:53SPEAKER_01: And then somebody else was posting about their corn, because you know they they always have like the Mexican corn.
- 14:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the street corn.
- 15:00SPEAKER_01: And somebody was posting about that and they opened up their corn in the aluminum foal, and it was like had rotten part at the bottom.
- 15:08SPEAKER_01: I would have died.
- 15:10SPEAKER_01: Because you know that was probably$20 corn.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, bring back$5 footlongs.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: Bring back$24 hour McDonald's or not McDonald's.
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: Um, Walmarts.
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: Bring back 24 hour Walmarts.
- 15:23SPEAKER_01: Ours is 24 hours.
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: No, it ain't.
- 15:25SPEAKER_01: The one in Winston, yes, it is.
- 15:29SPEAKER_01: This one's not.
- 15:30SPEAKER_01: There's a reason it's probably 24 hours.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: I hate going to that one.
- 15:33SPEAKER_01: But this one here, it actually closes.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: They got tapped to pay.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: They did?
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: Walmart got tapped to pay.
- 15:42SPEAKER_01: About dang time.
- 15:44SPEAKER_01: Them and Hobby Lobby.
- 15:46SPEAKER_01: About way to get with the freaking times.
- 15:49SPEAKER_01: About time.
- 15:50SPEAKER_01: I'm excited.
- 15:50SPEAKER_01: Because before they had the Walmart pay thing, if you went in there and you were gonna try to tap your phone, no, you have to put everything back.
- 15:59SPEAKER_01: That's embarrassing.
- 16:01SPEAKER_01: That makes you look like you broke.
- 16:05SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, nah, I got money.
- 16:07SPEAKER_01: You just don't accept my payment method.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: I didn't bring my card.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't I don't really bring my card anywhere anymore.
- 16:15SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 16:15SPEAKER_01: That's like when I was trying to get into Ray's school up here and they're like, Do you got your license?
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: I'm like No, I I actually funny thing, whenever I thought I lost my license, I was actually in your car, I ordered another one, and I keep one at home and then I keep one in my wallet now.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: Because for some reason, which I don't really speed or anything.
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: Like I don't really speed.
- 16:35SPEAKER_00: Um, so I never kept my license on me in my car, which I realized, hey, you should probably do that, because like what if you get in wreck?
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: Then there's a ticket on top of your bad day.
- 16:46SPEAKER_00: So I keep my license with me.
- 16:47SPEAKER_01: I mean, I do know my driver's license number, so if I ever get pulled over without my license, I can just be like That's like a different type of umk.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: Holy cow.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: What do you mean your driver's license number?
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I could I know it off the top of my head.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: Um, I realize I was getting really old because I I remembered my like debit card number.
- 17:09SPEAKER_01: I usually remember Derek's debit card number because I use his all the time when I make online purchases.
- 17:15SPEAKER_01: And then he used to get so mad because every so often the bank would just send him a new card because they say some kind of data breach, and he's like, I know it's gotta be whatever you're doing because I don't do anything.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: Um I just had to get a new card and that pissed me off.
- 17:32SPEAKER_01: I know I need to get a new uh card for my business, and for me, Derek's got one, and I just use his number.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: So this is kind of a total like Are you about to do a damn 360?
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: I am.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: God am I um uh more like a 180, because this is like a whole different direction.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: I have been binging the movie Twisters.
- 17:55SPEAKER_01: That fun fact, that was one of the very cool art.
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: She hold on.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: She is eating a cough drop, and every so often I hear her and it's driving me insane, and she's doing it right into the mic.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: So let me just let me just content warning.
- 18:12SPEAKER_01: It sounds like she is let me explain.
- 18:17SPEAKER_01: We were in clear water, enjoying salty air.
- 18:21SPEAKER_01: I have horrible sinuses.
- 18:23SPEAKER_01: I get sinus infections like four times a year at least.
- 18:27SPEAKER_01: And so with the weather changing over, because we literally were in like 80-something degree weather, and we come back and it's 68.
- 18:34SPEAKER_01: So my sinuses be jacked up like right through here, and my teeth hurt.
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: I'm like hacking.
- 18:42SPEAKER_01: So I had to do a cough drop so I wouldn't hack.
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: You know, I'll be sitting here and then I hear it like a and I'm like, it sounds like a mouse is in my ear.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: I'm like, just slobbing on the yo.
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: Slobbing on the mouth.
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: Let me just um if you have what is it called?
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: When you hate mouth noises, I'm so sorry.
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: This is not the I'm sorry too.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: I really don't mean to, but um I mean it just distracted me for that one minute.
- 19:15SPEAKER_01: But, anyways, Twisters, the very first Twister was one of the movies that scared me to death as a kid.
- 19:22SPEAKER_01: So I used to be so terrified of tornadoes, and then when I was a kid, my mama and papa was taking all the cousins out to go eat, and my cousin Stephanie's probably gonna remember this story.
- 19:34SPEAKER_01: But uh, he was taking us all out to eat, and we went to eat, and then we were going to go to the Lowe's.
- 19:40SPEAKER_01: And so the weather Lowe's Foods.
- 19:42SPEAKER_01: No, Lowe's hardware.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: Lowe's hardware?
- 19:45SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: And so the weather was like getting really bad, and my mama and papa, every time the weather got bad, instead of just staying in their house, they would go freaking storm chasing.
- 19:56SPEAKER_01: We'd always have to pile up in the car, and we'd go like looking at the storm damage and stuff.
- 20:02SPEAKER_01: But um, so we went to the Lowe's Foods and like the wind is just a howling, and I'm terrified, and so I literally just don't make the noise.
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: I just vomit, like all in front of this lady's cash register, and I'm like horrified, scared.
- 20:20SPEAKER_01: This lady's like looking at me like you little shit.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: And that's see, that's crazy.
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: I actually watched the first twister about two years ago, whenever twisters came came out.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: Um, I've always been obsessed with the weather in general.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: Now I'm terrified.
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: Don't don't get me wrong.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: Whenever we had a tornado watch slash warning um this past what spring?
- 20:45SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: Um, I was terrified because for one, I had my two smaller kids at home.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: I literally wrote their like names and date of birth on a couple of diapers in the bottom of my oldest's shoe because I was terrified.
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: So we lived in Ohio for like three years.
- 21:03SPEAKER_01: I I mentioned it in a previous podcast.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: And um they actually got tornadoes really bad up there.
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: Whereas like we don't really get them that often or that.
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: No, and it's because we're so we live in like a holler.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: We're in the foothills of uh North Carolina, so we don't really we the most that we really get is flooding and hellen when a hellen came through.
- 21:24SPEAKER_01: But so tornadoes were not like an uncommon thing there, and so we were living in this apartment at the time because we were building a house up there.
- 21:34SPEAKER_01: This is back before the economy sucked ass and everything cost too much to build.
- 21:39SPEAKER_01: But uh we were building a house up there and we were living in this two bedroom, one bath apartment where both bedrooms and the bathroom were upstairs.
- 21:48SPEAKER_01: So if you ever needed to use the bathroom when you were downstairs, you were climbing these steep stairs to have to go to the bathroom.
- 21:56SPEAKER_01: But I remember mom she like called Or something.
- 22:01SPEAKER_01: It had to have been.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: We didn't.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: I didn't have a cell phone then, so it had to have been the freaking landline that she called from work on.
- 22:08SPEAKER_01: And so she's at work and she said that the tornado's coming, that it's hell in there, and all kinds of things.
- 22:14SPEAKER_01: So she's like, You and Justin, get underneath the stairs.
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: Because the stairs had like this closet that was there, and it was.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: Oh, it was like the Harry Potter.
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it was kind of creepy though.
- 22:24SPEAKER_01: And so here I am, uh like 11 years old with my handicapped brother just taking him underneath the stairs to just hang out for a little bit until mom calls the house phone and we get the all clear to come out.
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: Why didn't you look outside?
- 22:41SPEAKER_01: She told me to stay in the closet.
- 22:43SPEAKER_01: I listen, unlike you.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: I would have looked outside.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: But I'd have been like, what?
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: Where?
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I would have looked outside.
- 22:49SPEAKER_01: Anyway, so And then you want to know what's even worse?
- 22:52SPEAKER_01: So the apartment building was next to a train track.
- 22:55SPEAKER_01: And you know they say her they say tornadoes sound like trains.
- 22:59SPEAKER_01: I would have pooped my pants.
- 23:01SPEAKER_01: I would have actually pooped my pants.
- 23:03SPEAKER_01: And a train came through there very often.
- 23:05SPEAKER_01: I would have put my pants.
- 23:06SPEAKER_01: And so I didn't know if we were about to die or if a train was coming, because we're our apartment was literally so close the apartment rattled when your trains go by.
- 23:16SPEAKER_01: So the houses are literally poop my pants.
- 23:18SPEAKER_01: There's a train sound.
- 23:20SPEAKER_01: I don't know what was going on.
- 23:22SPEAKER_01: I would have pooped my pants.
- 23:23SPEAKER_01: And so then I hear the phone ringing and I'm like, well, that must be mom telling me it's okay, but I don't know if I'm going out to like a busted up apartment or not.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: Anyway.
- 23:33SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I've been binging twisters and that there's not much to binge.
- 23:39SPEAKER_00: I mean, like, rewatching it over and over again.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: Like, I watch it at least twice a day.
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: And I have for the past like three weeks.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: It's just a really good movie.
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: It is a really good freaking movie.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: I don't even know why it's so good.
- 23:55SPEAKER_00: I just think that it's just really good.
- 23:57SPEAKER_00: And so whenever we went and watched it in theaters, I was so pissed because um the two main characters didn't spoiler, it's been out for two years.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: Go watch it.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: Um, they didn't kiss the end.
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: And I was so pissed, but I kind of get it because she wasn't over her boyfriend who died.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
- 24:16SPEAKER_00: And I mean it had only been f I say it's only been five years, but like yeah.
- 24:21SPEAKER_00: And she had only known this guy for like two weeks.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: So I mean, but still, come on.
- 24:26SPEAKER_01: If me and my man ever if my man ever goes, I hope I'm going with him, because I don't wanna have to do it over.
- 24:33SPEAKER_00: Like, can we not talk about that?
- 24:34SPEAKER_00: I don't wanna have to retrain somebody.
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: Oh, me and White were literally talking about that.
- 24:39SPEAKER_00: Um, like I I just can't.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: No, I don't want to see that I seen a statistic statistic.
- 24:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: Statistic.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: Anyway, um, that said, because me and him are high school sweethearts, we didn't go to the same um I'm sorry, um sick.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: Continue.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: Um, we didn't go to the same high school, but um, we were high school sweethearts because me and him started dating my freshman year.
- 25:09SPEAKER_00: Um, and most high school sweethearts stay together because even if they're kind of unhappy, because they just like that like familiarity.
- 25:18SPEAKER_00: Familiarity.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: You said that one right.
- 25:20SPEAKER_00: Okay, good.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: You're good, Tracy.
- 25:25SPEAKER_01: You know she'd be saying all kinds of random stuff.
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: Never.
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: I'll I'll move on.
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: Um, so and I get that because I don't think I I don't think I can do it.
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: Because like I've shaped him perfectly to where he's just perfect for me, and I just can't do that again.
- 25:43SPEAKER_01: I also don't think anybody else can tolerate me.
- 25:47SPEAKER_01: Don't even be looking like that because nobody else can tolerate your ass either.
- 25:52SPEAKER_01: I'm what did you say the uh the other day?
- 25:57SPEAKER_01: The call is coming from inside the house.
- 26:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 26:01SPEAKER_01: Pot, meat kettle.
- 26:04SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 26:06SPEAKER_01: Okay, we're very hard to handle, but to be honest, we get it from our mama.
- 26:11SPEAKER_01: She knows she's hard to handle it.
- 26:16SPEAKER_01: But yeah, we're like literally freaking carbon copies, pretty much.
- 26:22SPEAKER_01: No.
- 26:23SPEAKER_01: We have had some improvements.
- 26:26SPEAKER_01: But still.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: There's there's a couple that are worse than others.
- 26:32SPEAKER_01: But anywho, not only would I not want to start over, I just we already talked about the herping on accephalades last time.
- 26:39SPEAKER_01: Like, you just don't even know.
- 26:42SPEAKER_01: I just can't.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: I just don't have that type of patience.
- 26:45SPEAKER_01: I think I would just stay single for the rest of my life.
- 26:47SPEAKER_00: I don't think I would.
- 26:48SPEAKER_00: Oh, no, I wouldn't do all that, but like I have so I have my whole life ahead of me.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: I mean, now I don't think I would like, you know, but like me being like, I'm gonna stay single until I die.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: What if I die when I'm like 90?
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: That's 70 years by myself.
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: That sounds great.
- 27:09SPEAKER_00: You have your kids.
- 27:11SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh, you know they like their dad better than me.
- 27:14SPEAKER_00: They do like their daddy.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: My son, which is crazy, likes his dad better than me.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: Now, my daughter, not my boy.
- 27:23SPEAKER_00: Whenever he comes home, she's like, hey dada.
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: Anyway.
- 27:29SPEAKER_00: Oh, let me speaking of because you know this podcast is about motherhood.
- 27:33SPEAKER_00: Um, my daughter calls her dad the other day on FaceTime, and uh excuse me, sorry.
- 27:41SPEAKER_00: Anyway, um, and is like dada, and she he's like, Yeah, like what's up?
- 27:47SPEAKER_00: And she's like, Are you a cowboy?
- 27:49SPEAKER_00: He's not a cowboy, he is a sub substation groundman for pike.
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: Okay, I don't I don't know where and keep in mind we wasn't watching anything, but she just is like, Are you a cowboy?
- 28:00SPEAKER_00: And she and he's like, No, honey, like this is my job, like this is what I do, and she's like, Oh.
- 28:07SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, you know what?
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: You know what?
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: Me too, girl.
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: Me too.
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: But she was so bummed that he was not a cowboy.
- 28:15SPEAKER_01: We didn't even dress up as a cowboy for her for Halloween.
- 28:20SPEAKER_00: Um, we finally locked in some um Halloween costumes.
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: My daughter's obsessed with horses right now.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 28:30SPEAKER_00: Um, my son's gonna be a cow.
- 28:35SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 28:36SPEAKER_01: He looks he makes a great cow.
- 28:41SPEAKER_01: And what are you gonna be?
- 28:42SPEAKER_00: Possum.
- 28:43SPEAKER_00: And what'd you how did you describe that possum?
- 28:46SPEAKER_00: Oh, so in the south, whenever you have a pet possum, most of the time you kind of just feed it dog food and leftover KFC, and they get really fat, like really huge.
- 28:59SPEAKER_00: That's what I looked like in this possum costume.
- 29:01SPEAKER_00: So I want you to think, like, I want you to close your eyes and think.
- 29:05SPEAKER_00: Imagination, dog food fed KFC leftover possum in the south.
- 29:14SPEAKER_00: That's me.
- 29:15SPEAKER_00: So I look like in this possum costume, and you want me to go to this like Halloween networking thing?
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I can't wait.
- 29:23SPEAKER_00: Where people are probably gonna be dressing cute and kind of sexy, and I'm out here in a possum.
- 29:28SPEAKER_00: I can't wait.
- 29:30SPEAKER_01: I can't wait.
- 29:31SPEAKER_01: Um, so last time I thought that Reagan was gonna be Derby the tiger, but then we actually went Halloween costume shopping.
- 29:39SPEAKER_01: And so Rowan is still gonna be Sonic, but Reagan decided on sparkly purple ghost face, threw us for a complete loop.
- 29:51SPEAKER_01: We were not expecting that at all, but apparently she wanted to be scary.
- 29:54SPEAKER_01: And then I That's not scary.
- 29:57SPEAKER_01: It's ghostface.
- 29:59SPEAKER_01: He's in sparkly purple ghost face?
- 30:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 30:04SPEAKER_01: Do you like scary movies?
- 30:08SPEAKER_01: Anyways, and then so I'm gonna be gold ghostface, and my husband is still gonna be Michael Myers, just like we mentioned last time.
- 30:19SPEAKER_01: And he let me tell you, I am putting on his mask.
- 30:24SPEAKER_01: My husband's head is larger than normal life.
- 30:29SPEAKER_00: Larger than life.
- 30:31SPEAKER_01: Um, and so he was putting on this mask that says like one size fits most or whatever.
- 30:39SPEAKER_01: And he's like, this is kind of tight.
- 30:41SPEAKER_01: Am I sure I didn't get a children's mask?
- 30:45SPEAKER_01: Nope.
- 30:47SPEAKER_01: And so he thought it was just that mask, and so he returns it and orders another one.
- 30:55SPEAKER_01: And the same thing happened.
- 30:59SPEAKER_01: And I said, Honey, it's because you got a big old head.
- 31:05SPEAKER_00: You know, I seen something on TikTok, another 180.
- 31:08SPEAKER_00: Um, it's more like a 360.
- 31:11SPEAKER_00: Um, seeing somebody say on TikTok um that the mass section in the spirit is like a man's makeup.
- 31:22SPEAKER_00: What?
- 31:23SPEAKER_00: I don't think we're on the same side of TikTok.
- 31:26SPEAKER_01: Must not be.
- 31:27SPEAKER_01: I already know I'm not on the same side of TikTok because the things you be sending me people.
- 31:30SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 31:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, um, the dark romance girlies, they know.
- 31:37SPEAKER_00: They know.
- 31:38SPEAKER_00: I don't have to even.
- 31:39SPEAKER_00: I'm not picking my nose.
- 31:40SPEAKER_00: I'm fixing my nose ring, sorry.
- 31:42SPEAKER_00: On the pod, brilliant?
- 31:43SPEAKER_00: It was sticking hell.
- 31:44SPEAKER_01: You're picking your nose on the pod.
- 31:45SPEAKER_01: I was not picking my nose.
- 31:47SPEAKER_01: I said I was fixing my nose ring.
- 31:48SPEAKER_01: My fingers were out here.
- 31:50SPEAKER_01: So then why did you have to specify?
- 31:52SPEAKER_01: Because I didn't want people to think I was.
- 31:54SPEAKER_00: Well, if it's on the outside, then people automatically assume.
- 31:56SPEAKER_00: My thumb was up too though.
- 31:58SPEAKER_00: Man.
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: You were digging for that freaking surgical steel in there, weren't you?
- 32:04SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 32:04SPEAKER_01: I was pushing it in.
- 32:06SPEAKER_01: It was sticking out.
- 32:08SPEAKER_01: Um, let's see, let's see, let's see.
- 32:13SPEAKER_01: Um, we went to eat lunch with my daughter today.
- 32:17SPEAKER_00: Oh, yes, because that's intriguing.
- 32:20SPEAKER_00: And this ho said that my daughter could only hug her three times.
- 32:26SPEAKER_00: I can't.
- 32:27SPEAKER_00: Hold on.
- 32:28SPEAKER_00: Before everybody's like, oh my god, children hater.
- 32:32SPEAKER_00: I am a people hater.
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: I can't stand to be touched.
- 32:36SPEAKER_00: You already mentioned that.
- 32:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, well, I have to preference by saying that again because people are gonna be like, Wow, it's like taking candy from a baby.
- 32:44SPEAKER_00: What do you mean you won't let her hug you?
- 32:46SPEAKER_01: And then if the agreement was is that she could only have two like longer hugs and one very short brief hug.
- 32:53SPEAKER_01: And my daughter was so excited about that today.
- 32:56SPEAKER_01: Whenever her dad was taking her to school, she was like, And my diddy's coming to eat lunch with me, and I get to hug her three times.
- 33:04SPEAKER_01: Two long ones and one short one.
- 33:07SPEAKER_01: And she and she indeed did that.
- 33:09SPEAKER_01: And you know what's even funnier about this is like last night when she was praying over our supper, she was like, and God, please don't let my mommy forget to bring my lunch tomorrow and come eat lunch with me and bring me that Oreo ice cream and help her to remember my lunch is at 11.05 so she can be on time.
- 33:28SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, Good, yeah.
- 33:30SPEAKER_00: God, like, what why'd you have to throw the time in there?
- 33:34SPEAKER_00: Oh, and then there was this, so um we were sitting there and uh we were sitting down on the outside tables and like and you could see inside like the office area.
- 33:45SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, I already know where you're going.
- 33:47SPEAKER_00: There was this little boy, and he done look like a badass kid.
- 33:50SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you, this kid don't look like he done look like a little shit.
- 33:53SPEAKER_00: And so I'm like, and so I knew as soon as he walked in the office and went to go sit down, I said he's in trouble.
- 34:00SPEAKER_00: And so I'm like, watch, watch how this plays out.
- 34:02SPEAKER_00: And I'm expecting like the principal to come out or whatever, because I never had to call home because I I was only in the office one time, and I won't get into that, but anyway.
- 34:15SPEAKER_00: Um and then I like he's walking towards the desk and he picks up the phone.
- 34:21SPEAKER_00: And we were like, ah, and so we're watching, and it is obvious he is getting his ass torn into on the phone call.
- 34:28SPEAKER_00: Because I mean he's sitting there, he's like, keep in mind, this kid was what, fourth grade?
- 34:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I mean he's sitting there, he's like, and he's fidgeting in his pocket and playing with his foot, and I'm like, yo, he is getting choked.
- 34:41SPEAKER_00: Like, he's like and I'm like, he yeah, and it's Friday whenever we're recording this, and so you already know that there goes his weekend.
- 34:51SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 34:52SPEAKER_01: No autumn leaves for you.
- 34:55SPEAKER_01: You gotta wait till next year, get that turkey leg, son.
- 35:01SPEAKER_01: What is it about you and salty stuff?
- 35:03SPEAKER_01: I just can't.
- 35:04SPEAKER_01: I just can't do the turkey leg thing.
- 35:07SPEAKER_01: But yeah, and then when he came out, oof, you could already see the look of defeat on that kid's face.
- 35:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I'm like, man.
- 35:16SPEAKER_01: And he did not look like he came from a gentle parenting house.
- 35:19SPEAKER_01: He looked like whenever he got home.
- 35:20SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you, he looked like a badass kid.
- 35:23SPEAKER_01: He looked like whenever he got home, he already knew he was gonna get dubboat whooping.
- 35:28SPEAKER_00: And I can already tell, and Lord bless his soul, my son, he's a terror ass.
- 35:35SPEAKER_00: Let me just throw that out there.
- 35:36SPEAKER_00: He is uh almost one and a half, and he is a terror ass.
- 35:42SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you, he is a terror ass.
- 35:46SPEAKER_00: So hateful.
- 35:48SPEAKER_00: And I love him, and he is the sweetest little boy ever, but he is such a terror ass.
- 35:53SPEAKER_00: He don't listen.
- 35:54SPEAKER_00: He be climbing on shit compared to his angel sister, who never did no wrong.
- 35:59SPEAKER_00: And if I look at her the wrong way, she's like, Mama, sorry.
- 36:02SPEAKER_00: But if I look at him the wrong way, he's like, and then running and climbing on something.
- 36:06SPEAKER_01: Meanwhile, Reagan made me so mad last night because um we pop our kids' butts, like we don't abuse our children, but we do believe in spankings because we were raised in spankings and we turned out just fine.
- 36:22SPEAKER_01: Only gentle kids can be gentle parented.
- 36:26SPEAKER_01: Let me just say I don't really pop my kids.
- 36:28SPEAKER_01: Well, I pop mine if they deserve it.
- 36:31SPEAKER_01: And so, um, she's only been popped like maybe three or four times in her entire life.
- 36:36SPEAKER_01: She's seven.
- 36:38SPEAKER_01: And so last night, like we were getting on to her for wasting because she's seven now.
- 36:45SPEAKER_01: If you open if you ask us to buy you something, you open it and you start to eat it, you should finish it.
- 36:52SPEAKER_01: We work hard for our money, we spent it on something you specifically asked for, and then you opened it and started to eat it, you're not gonna waste it now.
- 37:02SPEAKER_01: And so she had the option to either eat it or throw it away, but if she threw it away, she was gonna get her butt popped and she was going to bed.
- 37:14SPEAKER_01: And so we're sitting there and she's just freaking wailing for like literally 45 minutes at the table, just wailing because she thinks that's gonna get her out of trouble, or she thinks we're on a cave in.
- 37:24SPEAKER_01: And if it hadn't been for me, her daddy probably would have.
- 37:27SPEAKER_01: But I was like, no, we she's gotta learn at some point to stop wasting.
- 37:32SPEAKER_01: Like, we waste so much money on them, when especially when it's food related.
- 37:37SPEAKER_01: And so she's wailing for like 45 minutes, and Derek's like, Reagan, like, just raised his voice a little bit, and she's like over there like we abuse her.
- 37:48SPEAKER_01: I'm like, what the heck is wrong with you?
- 37:51SPEAKER_01: Like you're pissing me off more about acting like that than you are anything else.
- 37:55SPEAKER_01: God, it made me so mad.
- 37:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like because even when we pop them, it's literally like a like pop.
- 38:01SPEAKER_01: Like one pop.
- 38:03SPEAKER_01: We're not like wham, wham, wham, wham, wham.
- 38:06SPEAKER_01: Like, you know what I mean?
- 38:08SPEAKER_01: It's just a pop, which it barely stings.
- 38:12SPEAKER_01: Rowan the other day, actually, when Derek popped him, he laughed about it, and Derek's like, Oh, you you think it's funny?
- 38:20SPEAKER_01: And then he popped him again.
- 38:22SPEAKER_01: I said, I only gave you permission for one pop.
- 38:24SPEAKER_01: Don't be hitting my boy.
- 38:26SPEAKER_00: Which and I mean, like I said, we don't really pop we don't really pop our kids, but it's just how that works.
- 38:32SPEAKER_00: I mean They're also younger than mine.
- 38:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and Adelie, I mean, she doesn't do anything crazy.
- 38:37SPEAKER_00: Um now if Shepard's like messing with the light, we will like kind of pop his hand a little bit, just like the light the outlet.
- 38:45SPEAKER_00: Because we're like, well, I'm much rather pop his hand than him get like electrocuted or something.
- 38:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we used to pop their hands when they were smaller, but they're at the age now they get a little butt poppin'.
- 38:56SPEAKER_01: And with Rowan, and up until now when he's starting to get potty trained, what is a butt popping gonna do on a diaper?
- 39:02SPEAKER_01: He ain't gonna feel that.
- 39:04SPEAKER_01: It's gonna feel like somebody poked his butt.
- 39:08SPEAKER_01: So But now now he's got them underwear.
- 39:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, now it's now it's now it's game all.
- 39:17SPEAKER_00: And dude, I don't know what it is with boys, but they don't listen to shit.
- 39:21SPEAKER_00: Nothing.
- 39:22SPEAKER_01: And then he'll smile about it, which is just I just want to eat him up and then beat him at the same time, like, good lord, kid.
- 39:31SPEAKER_01: Because he knows he's in trouble, so you'll be like, rowing, come here.
- 39:35SPEAKER_01: And he's already got this little like grin on his face, and he's looking up at you like this, and he's grinning like from ear to ear.
- 39:42SPEAKER_01: And he's like, What?
- 39:43SPEAKER_01: And he's still grinning and sticking his tongue out.
- 39:47SPEAKER_01: And what?
- 39:49SPEAKER_01: And like being all freaking cute, and I'm like, God, you're so stinking cute, but you're in trouble.
- 39:57SPEAKER_01: Wait, just wait.
- 39:59SPEAKER_00: If ship ships like that now, you just just wait.
- 40:02SPEAKER_00: I mean, he is just such a little shit, and now he's I mean, he's so sweet, but he don't listen to shit.
- 40:08SPEAKER_00: And I just know that and which Wyatt, he was a little badass kid.
- 40:12SPEAKER_00: He was a little shit.
- 40:13SPEAKER_00: Oh, Derek was too.
- 40:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 40:15SPEAKER_00: So I already know that He didn't listen.
- 40:18SPEAKER_00: I've already heard all the stories.
- 40:20SPEAKER_00: So I already know that I'm gonna have your hands full.
- 40:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 40:26SPEAKER_01: And Oh, he's gonna be bigger than you too.
- 40:32SPEAKER_01: What the hell is that supposed to mean?
- 40:34SPEAKER_01: He's gonna be bigger than you.
- 40:35SPEAKER_01: He's gonna be bullying you.
- 40:36SPEAKER_00: I'll be damned.
- 40:39SPEAKER_00: I'll just start fighting.
- 40:40SPEAKER_00: I just start fighting.
- 40:41SPEAKER_00: No, and no, I'm not gonna say that.
- 40:44SPEAKER_00: No, yes, I am.
- 40:45SPEAKER_00: Um, Wyatt's dad always told him, because Wyatt's dad, I mean, he's a good 5'11.
- 40:50SPEAKER_00: He's a he's an older guy.
- 40:51SPEAKER_00: He's an older man, but he's like, he has the same, and if you know Wyatt, which I'm just gonna describe him, he's like broader, like he's let's not start that this podcast.
- 41:02SPEAKER_00: Um he's like broader and like his dad has the same build as him, but is a little shorter and a little smaller than him.
- 41:07SPEAKER_00: But he always told Wyatt, especially after he hit puberty, that if he was ever gonna start fist fighting him, he's just gonna have to shoot him.
- 41:14SPEAKER_00: He's just gonna shoot him because I ain't no way that he's gonna be able to like stand up to him.
- 41:19SPEAKER_01: He's a big old boy.
- 41:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 41:23SPEAKER_00: And apparently, like, and Wyatt listen, and I don't know, he doesn't listen to our podcast.
- 41:28SPEAKER_00: He shares it, but he doesn't listen.
- 41:30SPEAKER_01: That's rude.
- 41:31SPEAKER_01: Well, what what can I do?
- 41:33SPEAKER_01: That's not that is unsupportive.
- 41:35SPEAKER_01: My husband listens.
- 41:36SPEAKER_01: My husband actually was the first one to listen to this Thursdays.
- 41:40SPEAKER_01: He listened to it before I did because he made a comment about me talking talking in his voice.
- 41:48unknown: Yeah.
- 41:49SPEAKER_00: But um, anyway, um I done forgot what I was gonna say.
- 41:54SPEAKER_00: Uh why in freshman year uh looked like a little boy.
- 42:00SPEAKER_00: He looked like a little boy.
- 42:02SPEAKER_00: And I'm gonna have to show you a picture because he looked like a little boy.
- 42:05SPEAKER_00: Wyatt didn't look like a man until like, I don't know, two years ago.
- 42:08SPEAKER_01: Well that was Derek.
- 42:10SPEAKER_01: Derek, he no, like he apparently didn't like bulk up until after high school because his football coach sees him all the time out and about, and he's like, Where was this size when you were playing football for me?
- 42:24SPEAKER_01: Wyatt was a band kid.
- 42:26SPEAKER_01: We know.
- 42:27SPEAKER_01: I bet you Shep Shep's gonna be a band kid.
- 42:29SPEAKER_00: He's I can talk all types of shit about band kids because I was a band.
- 42:36SPEAKER_00: No, I was kidding band.
- 42:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because I was talking about how freaky they are in a couple a couple episodes ago.
- 42:45SPEAKER_00: I don't know what the hell they're doing with.
- 42:47SPEAKER_01: I didn't I didn't I didn't mess around with no band kids.
- 42:50SPEAKER_01: They were dorks.
- 42:53SPEAKER_01: I think the dynamic in school has changed now though.
- 42:56SPEAKER_00: Well, yeah, because I know a lot of people who are on like the percussion side of the band in high school, a lot of them played football.
- 43:03SPEAKER_01: That's wild.
- 43:05SPEAKER_01: Or it's just not a our Lavar band people.
- 43:08SPEAKER_00: Early 2000s.
- 43:10SPEAKER_00: Oh, I've seen your yearbook, babe.
- 43:11SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 43:12SPEAKER_01: You look at them and you're like, yeah, you're definitely a band kid.
- 43:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but now it's like you can't even tell.
- 43:17SPEAKER_00: And if you say that, they're like, well, that's that's rude.
- 43:20SPEAKER_00: You're like, oh shit, sorry.
- 43:23SPEAKER_01: No, but no, back in my day, you could tell when somebody was a band kid.
- 43:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you can't.
- 43:27SPEAKER_01: You look at me and be like, Yeah, you can't tell anymore.
- 43:30SPEAKER_01: The only thing you're gonna be doing in high school is band, because there ain't nothing else gonna have you.
- 43:34SPEAKER_00: No, a lot of yeah, like I would say half of the percussion my freshman year was in football.
- 43:41SPEAKER_00: Varsity football.
- 43:44SPEAKER_00: Interesting.
- 43:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, uh the dynamic in school is changing a lot.
- 43:48SPEAKER_00: There's not really now there is obviously the which I was in high school like two years ago, three years ago.
- 43:55SPEAKER_00: Um, so that beats the fifteen years ago.
- 43:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you gotta remember there is a uh 17-year age gap in between us.
- 44:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 44:03SPEAKER_00: So, I mean, there was obviously popular kids, there was obviously the weird kids, but the weird kids today and the weird kids back then are two different types of weird.
- 44:12SPEAKER_00: Like, why are you pretending to be a cat in my face?
- 44:15SPEAKER_01: Oh, the weird kids in my day were like the goth people.
- 44:21SPEAKER_00: They were like weird, weird.
- 44:23SPEAKER_00: Well, and like there's you know, there's the Nemo Goth kids now, but then there's like a whole different kind of odd kid.
- 44:32SPEAKER_01: And that we didn't have that in my day.
- 44:34SPEAKER_00: Like, why are you hissing at me?
- 44:36SPEAKER_01: I if you come up and you hiss at me, I'm I'm jacked up.
- 44:44SPEAKER_01: Like, it's kind of like why are you hissing at me?
- 44:47SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry, do you want me to treat you how I treat my cat?
- 44:52SPEAKER_01: You probably shouldn't say stuff like that.
- 44:54SPEAKER_01: She is freaking hitting.
- 44:55SPEAKER_01: People are gonna call like PET well treated.
- 44:59SPEAKER_01: She gets dry food and wet food.
- 45:02SPEAKER_01: That sounds like somebody's gonna call PETA.
- 45:04SPEAKER_00: A S-P-C-A.
- 45:06SPEAKER_00: Let them call 'em.
- 45:07SPEAKER_00: Ugh.
- 45:07SPEAKER_00: Anyway.
- 45:08SPEAKER_00: She's in heat right now.
- 45:10SPEAKER_00: You haven't gotten her fixed.
- 45:12SPEAKER_00: No, uh.
- 45:13SPEAKER_01: I'm trying to let her get a little bit bigger.
- 45:15SPEAKER_01: I just feel like putting them through that when they're that little is just a lot.
- 45:18SPEAKER_01: So I'm trying to let her be able to get a little bit more.
- 45:19SPEAKER_00: But going through animals going through heat is like a terrible experience for them.
- 45:23SPEAKER_01: Well, she's going through it right now, and You gotta go get her fixed.
- 45:27SPEAKER_01: Oh god, she's so obnoxious right now.
- 45:29SPEAKER_01: Every time you speak, she's like And I'm like, I'm not even talking to you.
- 45:35SPEAKER_00: Oh, speaking of that's how the weird kids will be to like their significant calories.
- 45:38SPEAKER_00: I cannot tell you, and maybe my high school is just a little uh which it was, but there was like all types of weird kid, like random makeouts, and everybody was like, yo, like yo.
- 45:49SPEAKER_00: I'm just trying to get the third period, you're up in my face.
- 45:53SPEAKER_00: Like I'm trying to get to math too, and you are in my face.
- 45:56SPEAKER_01: That never that never was allowed in school.
- 45:59SPEAKER_00: Well, it wasn't either, but that didn't stop the weirdos.
- 46:02SPEAKER_01: I mean, but we had like teachers always in the hallways and stuff.
- 46:06SPEAKER_00: Oh no.
- 46:07SPEAKER_00: Did you get randomly drug tested at school?
- 46:10SPEAKER_00: No.
- 46:12SPEAKER_01: We did have random like drug dogs come every so often.
- 46:15SPEAKER_00: Oh, we had that, but all the kids would get randomly drug tested.
- 46:18SPEAKER_00: You would just be sitting, and we never got randomly drug tested, but you would just be sitting there in math class, like algebra or whatever, and then all of a sudden you hear boom boom boom boom boom boom and you're like, oh, but no, we um I got drug tested maybe four times in the two years I went to in-person high school.
- 46:36SPEAKER_01: But see, the thing about in high school is like we didn't have assigned per se lockers.
- 46:43SPEAKER_00: Well, we didn't either.
- 46:44SPEAKER_01: We just carried our book bags.
- 46:45SPEAKER_01: So it so it's like if somebody put their stuff in their locker, how do you know who's how do you know whose it is unless they're stupid and have their personal stuff like with their name and stuff in there?
- 46:57SPEAKER_00: No, there was a cocaine problem, I think my freshman year.
- 47:00SPEAKER_00: People doing coke in the bathroom.
- 47:02SPEAKER_00: I'm like, yo.
- 47:03SPEAKER_00: Like it is 8 a.m.
- 47:05SPEAKER_00: I'm not like calm down.
- 47:07SPEAKER_00: They just don't want an eight ball.
- 47:09SPEAKER_00: I'm like, yo.
- 47:10SPEAKER_01: We didn't have that problem.
- 47:12SPEAKER_01: Guys, they may have been out by the tree smoking s smoking some marijuana or something, but speaking of that, me and Wyatt were Wyatt was a stoner and of course he was.
- 47:22SPEAKER_00: He was a stoner in high school.
- 47:24SPEAKER_00: Sorry, kind of out in you.
- 47:26SPEAKER_00: He was a stoner in high school and he had a bunch of stoner of the like stoner friends.
- 47:29SPEAKER_00: Um well in North Carolina in the role North Carolina, all of the stoners are like country, which is really odd.
- 47:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 47:37SPEAKER_00: Um, and apparently he had a friend that would always keep because like I said, we'd get randomly get drug tested, and he would keep like fake pee on him.
- 47:44SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, fake pee?
- 47:46SPEAKER_00: I'm like, what the hell is that?
- 47:48SPEAKER_00: And he was like he was like, yeah, he'd keep like this guy would keep like fake pee in his boot.
- 47:55SPEAKER_00: I'm like, yo.
- 47:57SPEAKER_00: What are you talking about?
- 47:58SPEAKER_00: He's like, you don't you don't know about that?
- 48:00SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh no.
- 48:01SPEAKER_00: I never needed a fake piss test.
- 48:05SPEAKER_00: What are you talking about?
- 48:07SPEAKER_00: But and that's I mean, it's just so crazy.
- 48:11SPEAKER_01: I mean, yeah, we never had to worry about any any of that.
- 48:15SPEAKER_00: But the popular kids aren't like jocks and stuff anymore.
- 48:18SPEAKER_00: You can like I said, you can definitely tell.
- 48:21SPEAKER_00: Like, I was a kind of popular kid.
- 48:23SPEAKER_00: I mean, not nothing crazy.
- 48:25SPEAKER_00: Everybody knew me, I knew everybody.
- 48:27SPEAKER_01: I was one of those that got along with pretty much everybody.
- 48:30SPEAKER_01: Ex I didn't deal with the band people and I didn't deal with the golf people.
- 48:34SPEAKER_01: But all the other cliques were fine.
- 48:36SPEAKER_01: I mean, I didn't really care as long as you weren't fucking weird.
- 48:39SPEAKER_01: I mean, I was cordial to everybody, but like I didn't have a friend from either of those groups.
- 48:45SPEAKER_00: I had friends from well, like I said, I was well, my my best friend, she was, I mean, in band.
- 48:50SPEAKER_00: Swanna was in band.
- 48:53SPEAKER_00: You can tell.
- 48:54SPEAKER_00: She was on watching band too.
- 48:55SPEAKER_01: I was gonna say she kind of looks like she'd be in band.
- 48:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she was like the like woodwind captain or something.
- 49:01SPEAKER_00: I'm like, girl.
- 49:01SPEAKER_00: And I was like, you have to get out of that cult.
- 49:03SPEAKER_00: And she's like, well, let's not.
- 49:04SPEAKER_00: And then she got out of it, she's like, oh my god, that's a cult.
- 49:06SPEAKER_00: I'm like, yo, that's what I'm saying.
- 49:08SPEAKER_00: Like, you're gonna have to wear your hair in a French braid and have a sister wife if you don't quit.
- 49:13SPEAKER_00: Um but yeah, I mean, I was kind of okay with everybody.
- 49:18SPEAKER_00: Of course, I had my I had my beef with people.
- 49:21SPEAKER_00: Um Well, I already told you I made somebody cry, so yeah, I had my beef with people, but it was never that serious.
- 49:27SPEAKER_00: It was always kind of one-sided.
- 49:29SPEAKER_00: And uh any type of beef I even have now is kind of one-sided.
- 49:31SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't care, it's not even that deep.
- 49:33SPEAKER_01: You have beef with just random people just because you like careful just because your friend has another friend, you got beef.
- 49:47SPEAKER_00: No, no, me, no, me and this, and I she's probably listening to jelly really easily.
- 49:56SPEAKER_00: But not in like a toxic friend way, like I'm not like I'm gonna stop being friends with you because you're hanging out with somebody.
- 50:01SPEAKER_01: No, but you do be getting jelly, and you're giving people a hard time with the colour.
- 50:05SPEAKER_01: I'm not giving out I might give a passive aggressive comment, but damn, I'm only human.
- 50:10SPEAKER_01: No, but and then you're like, I don't like them.
- 50:13SPEAKER_01: And then you half the time you meet them and you talk to them, you're like, Oh, they're not that bad.
- 50:17SPEAKER_01: Well, no, they're not this freaking demon that you've put in your head that they are just because they're friends with your friend.
- 50:28SPEAKER_00: Well, speaking of that, and that girl should be getting jelly too.
- 50:31SPEAKER_00: Well, and that girl, the thing is she follows the podcast, and me and her got off on the wrong foot, and I know exactly who you're thinking about, and you know exactly who I'm talking about.
- 50:39SPEAKER_00: Well, and she said Oh, I'm thinking of other people too.
- 50:42SPEAKER_00: You begin Well, I think that you need to mind your business with that matter of fact, because I know for a fact she follows the podcast.
- 50:48SPEAKER_00: So I think you need to mind your business.
- 50:50SPEAKER_00: And I think you need to move on.
- 50:52SPEAKER_00: But actually, me and that girl that you were referencing at first, um, we're okay now.
- 50:57SPEAKER_00: She sent me something uh um she sent an outfit for me for my Porch Goose.
- 51:03SPEAKER_00: Oh, that was nice.
- 51:04SPEAKER_00: It was uh it was a Pittsburgh one because her her man and see we I know, I know Savannah be telling you.
- 51:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's actually really nice.
- 51:12SPEAKER_00: She yeah, because her man is a Steelers fan as well.
- 51:15SPEAKER_01: So she sent me and I was like I was like I'm really upset that the Giants like OBJ.
- 51:25SPEAKER_01: I'm not surprised, he didn't do much.
- 51:28SPEAKER_01: He got enough coverage that their other receivers could get the ball.
- 51:35SPEAKER_00: I mean, I'm not really surprised.
- 51:37SPEAKER_00: I see the Giants going to the Super Bowl.
- 51:39SPEAKER_01: I ain't rooting for it.
- 51:41SPEAKER_01: I done told Derek that I hope they lose every game now.
- 51:44SPEAKER_01: I obj was my man.
- 51:48SPEAKER_00: I think that there are two teams besides I mean obviously I have my number one team, and that's the Steelers, and that'll always be that way.
- 51:55SPEAKER_00: But I do I do have two teams that I really do I really do wish good for, and that is for one, the Giants.
- 52:02SPEAKER_00: I wish good for the Giants.
- 52:04SPEAKER_00: I hope the Chiefs choke.
- 52:06SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah, that wasn't my second team.
- 52:08SPEAKER_00: My second team is the Panthers.
- 52:11SPEAKER_01: Ooh, no.
- 52:12SPEAKER_01: Mm-mm.
- 52:13SPEAKER_00: I have to root for the home team.
- 52:14SPEAKER_00: Um no, you don't.
- 52:15SPEAKER_00: Their quarterback, because I did some digging, their quarterback's a really good guy.
- 52:19SPEAKER_01: I truly don't care.
- 52:21SPEAKER_01: After they went through that Cam Newton keep pounding bandwagon fan BS.
- 52:27SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna stand up.
- 52:29SPEAKER_01: Half of them bandwagons are done fizzled out.
- 52:31SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, because they're Chiefs fan now.
- 52:36SPEAKER_01: If you know, you know.
- 52:38SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 52:39SPEAKER_01: Or the or Eagles.
- 52:41SPEAKER_01: They're either a Chiefs or an Eagles fan here as of late.
- 52:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 52:48SPEAKER_00: Speaking of that, um, because we're gonna have to start wrapping up soon.
- 52:52SPEAKER_00: Kylie Kelsey, Jason Kelsey's wife, she did a van clean out.
- 52:56SPEAKER_00: Cause she has a podcast too.
- 52:57SPEAKER_00: She's so freaking funny.
- 52:58SPEAKER_00: I know what she did a her van clean out.
- 53:01SPEAKER_00: I didn't watch the van clean out.
- 53:02SPEAKER_00: Dude, that is so real.
- 53:04SPEAKER_00: Like there's like random crumbs and stuff everywhere, and she's like, Y'all don't want to see that.
- 53:08SPEAKER_00: She's so real, it's hilarious.
- 53:10SPEAKER_00: I do like her.
- 53:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I she's just really down to earth, and just a really seems like a nice person.
- 53:17SPEAKER_00: Oh, did you see where Jason Kelsey um accidentally called the Washington Commanders, their old name, and everybody's freaking out about it?
- 53:26SPEAKER_01: The Redskins?
- 53:27SPEAKER_01: That's what I call them too.
- 53:29SPEAKER_01: Because the Commanders is stupid.
- 53:32SPEAKER_01: And see, I can say that because my papa loved him some Washington Redskins.
- 53:37SPEAKER_01: I don't know why.
- 53:38SPEAKER_01: I guess because North Carolina didn't have a team at the time.
- 53:41SPEAKER_01: But I mean, that's all I know is the original stuff.
- 53:47SPEAKER_01: I almost Commanders is the dumbest.
- 53:50SPEAKER_01: Wasn't it something else before that?
- 53:51SPEAKER_00: No, it was the Commanders.
- 53:53SPEAKER_00: The Washington Commanders.
- 53:54SPEAKER_00: God, that's the stupid.
- 53:55SPEAKER_00: Well, and I kind of forgot that they were even called that name.
- 53:58SPEAKER_00: I think like because I haven't heard it for so long, and you know, the the name didn't the name change didn't really affect me.
- 54:05SPEAKER_00: I was just kind of like, whatever.
- 54:06SPEAKER_00: Um But whenever they uh whenever he said that, which I mean, it can be an honest mistake.
- 54:12SPEAKER_00: I mean, I don't think it was like premeditated.
- 54:14SPEAKER_01: If I remember correctly though, the Indian tribe that like that represented.
- 54:19SPEAKER_00: I think they came back and was like, yes.
- 54:23SPEAKER_00: Well, and I think that they commented on the Jason Kelsey thing, and I could be wrong, but I think they even commented and was like, guys, it's not that deep.
- 54:29SPEAKER_00: They were actually pissed off when they changed the name.
- 54:32SPEAKER_00: Well, I don't really have a dog in that fight, though.
- 54:34SPEAKER_00: Like I can't be like, hey, that's I don't care, I ain't cheering for them anyway.
- 54:37SPEAKER_01: I ain't buying none of their stuff for literally anybody.
- 54:40SPEAKER_01: But But I don't really have a dog in that fight anyway, because the only other team stuff I buy other than stealer stuff is usually giant stuff for my husband.
- 54:51SPEAKER_01: I am rooting for the giants.
- 54:52SPEAKER_01: No.
- 54:53SPEAKER_01: I am.
- 54:53SPEAKER_01: I like Cam Scattaboo, though.
- 54:57SPEAKER_01: He is He is going He is slumped.
- 55:01SPEAKER_01: He won't have some CT.
- 55:03SPEAKER_00: Um actually, well, he's talked about where he got hurt last year, unfortunately.
- 55:08SPEAKER_00: Um he's talked about how he has kind of like chilled out a little bit because uh he was He's still be doing flips and stuff when he doesn't.
- 55:15SPEAKER_00: Bro, he's still be doing it.
- 55:16SPEAKER_00: He's still be doing the freaking thing.
- 55:17SPEAKER_00: I I mean.
- 55:20SPEAKER_01: But be sure to let us know what teams you're cheering for.
- 55:23SPEAKER_00: I mean, we probably won't like them because we're Steelers fans, but unless it's the Giants or even the Panthers or Nope not no Panthers.
- 55:30SPEAKER_01: I I you have to cheer for the home team.
- 55:32SPEAKER_01: No, you do not.
- 55:34SPEAKER_01: You do.
- 55:34SPEAKER_01: You don't.
- 55:35SPEAKER_01: You do.
- 55:36SPEAKER_01: You don't.
- 55:37SPEAKER_01: Oh, and then when Cam Newton freaking like fumbled the ball in the Super Bowl and then didn't go cover it, and then I was like, Yep, keep pounding your way on to the house.
- 55:48SPEAKER_00: Well, and then Luke Keekly.
- 55:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I I butcher that name every time.
- 55:53SPEAKER_00: Like, 'cause you that was the Panthers that I mean the k the Kellys grew up watching.
- 55:59SPEAKER_00: So I mean that was a big thing, and we went to several Panthers games.
- 56:04SPEAKER_01: We went to a few.
- 56:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 56:06SPEAKER_01: And half of which is because they were playing the Steelers.
- 56:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 56:10SPEAKER_01: And one time they were playing the Falcons, and I was so freaking it was hysterical when the Panthers lost because I just saw your dad's face and I was like his nostrils flaring.
- 56:20SPEAKER_00: Um Well, and he just got put in the Hall of Fame.
- 56:26SPEAKER_00: The youngest dude to get put in the Hall of Fame this past year.
- 56:29SPEAKER_00: Who was it?
- 56:30SPEAKER_00: Luke Keekly.
- 56:31SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 56:32SPEAKER_00: And I was just really happy for him.
- 56:33SPEAKER_00: And why it was like, Well, he was really good.
- 56:35SPEAKER_00: Why'd he stop?
- 56:36SPEAKER_00: And I think it which I could be wrong, and I think that he stopped because he got hurt.
- 56:40SPEAKER_00: And he was kind of worried, like, and his wife was like, Listen, man, you got hanged up.
- 56:46unknown: Yeah.
- 56:46SPEAKER_00: Like what Tom Brady should have done, but then his wife is now with the trainer.
- 56:51SPEAKER_00: The trainer.
- 56:52SPEAKER_01: He didn't hang it up, so she's like, I'm gonna go get it somewhere else.
- 56:55SPEAKER_00: And now he's the owner of the Raiders.
- 56:57SPEAKER_00: How freaking crazy.
- 56:59SPEAKER_00: Okay, we gotta wrap this up.
