- 0:32Speaker 1: Eric Wood's coming up. Love talking with Eric Wood, pro bowler,
- 0:36Speaker 1: former All American, now on the radio team for the
- 0:39Speaker 1: Buffalo Bills. And it's just like I asked him, like,
- 0:41Speaker 1: what's so hard moving from center to guard? That's what
- 0:43Speaker 1: he had to do? Interesting answer, a muscle memory. Also
- 0:47Speaker 1: why the center got to be so smart? And I
- 0:49Speaker 1: was talking to Eddie yesterday. We're playing golf all the
- 0:51Speaker 1: way best I've ever seen had to play golf. It's
- 0:53Speaker 1: pretty cool, man. Pace pace was great. Yeah is that tempo?
- 0:57Speaker 1: You know? Once I get that tempo dialed in, I
- 0:59Speaker 1: get a good round. But I won't see you around
- 1:01Speaker 1: like that for the next like two years through a
- 1:03Speaker 1: Eddie was one over man. That's what I said, eddn
- 1:06Speaker 1: end as good, but it's still a really good round.
- 1:08Speaker 1: And then what happens, Eddie went Eddie, But Eddie played great.
- 1:13Speaker 1: It's so good. I was still thinking about Eddie's around
- 1:15Speaker 1: last night and texted you text me. I was thinking.
- 1:17Speaker 1: I was like, dang, Edie really played good. I need
- 1:19Speaker 1: to let him know that. I'm really happy for him.
- 1:20Speaker 1: He played such a good round. I want to let
- 1:21Speaker 1: you know too. When you texted me, it made me
- 1:23Speaker 1: feel really good because it reminded me too of the round. Yeah. Special,
- 1:26Speaker 1: it's a special day. Also, it was like fifty eight degrees.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Eddie shows up in a like a winter cat two jackets.
- 1:34Speaker 1: My dude, it's I don't like cold either, but this ain't.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I'm Mexican. It's freezing for me. But I was talking
- 1:41Speaker 1: to Eric, what about that buffalo? It being cold? Switching positions?
- 1:44Speaker 1: Why the center has to be so smart? And Eddie
- 1:46Speaker 1: goes yesterday? The center has got to be smart, no idea.
- 1:50Speaker 1: So it's it's a really good conversation coming up in
- 1:52Speaker 1: just a few minutes. So that being said, let's warm
- 1:54Speaker 1: it up. Let's warm it up, kids, We're about to
- 1:57Speaker 1: let's warm it up, kids, that's what I was born
- 1:59Speaker 1: to do. Warm up question, what's your favorite TV show
- 2:01Speaker 1: of all time? Eddie? Oh, I got it, Three's Company.
- 2:06Speaker 1: I had to think about it. Oh gosh. I grew
- 2:08Speaker 1: up watching Three's Company. It was one of my favorite things.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I'll never forget. There's a memory in my mind where
- 2:14Speaker 1: I took a shower. It was like nine o'clock PM,
- 2:17Speaker 1: and I was running run into the living room and
- 2:19Speaker 1: I said, guys, flipping on. I want to flip on
- 2:22Speaker 1: the TV to Three's Company. I want to watch Jack
- 2:24Speaker 1: Tripper and my brother goes idiot. It's Saturday. That's only
- 2:27Speaker 1: on Monday through Friday, and I'll do. I have that
- 2:30Speaker 1: memory engraved in my mind of me doing it because
- 2:32Speaker 1: I loved Three's Company that much. I liked it. I
- 2:35Speaker 1: only want saw on Nick at Night. Though, no, no, no no,
- 2:37Speaker 1: I watched when it was live. I've never seen it. Yeah,
- 2:39Speaker 1: it's old. It's old. There's no reason to watch it now.
- 2:42Speaker 1: But I'm surprised that your favorite of all time. I
- 2:44Speaker 1: think it's just kind of nostalgic for me. It reminds
- 2:46Speaker 1: me of a good time, the good times. It's awesome, dude,
- 2:49Speaker 1: it's all about right, good time she'd won over three eight. Yeah, hey, Mike,
- 2:53Speaker 1: do what's you favorite show of all time? The Simpsons.
- 2:56Speaker 1: It's for my sense of comedy. I owe it all
- 2:58Speaker 1: to the Simpsons, and I've done it forever and at
- 3:01Speaker 1: a high level. Yeah, thirty seven seasons. You know what, though,
- 3:03Speaker 1: I saw it the other day, like a new one,
- 3:06Speaker 1: and it looks good, like it's just good quality now
- 3:09Speaker 1: because it's funny you see it through all the years
- 3:11Speaker 1: of like bad quality Simpsons too. Now it's like, wow,
- 3:13Speaker 1: it just looks like it's a brand new show. Have
- 3:16Speaker 1: they improved the cartoon, the animations. Yeah, well I don't
- 3:20Speaker 1: have to ask that question. You look good, Kevin. I'm
- 3:25Speaker 1: gonna go with Always Sunny in Philadelphia that last night,
- 3:28Speaker 1: and it's just just like a Simpsons, just solid every episode.
- 3:33Speaker 1: It was a good laugh. A couple of those guys
- 3:35Speaker 1: bought a soccer team. Yeah, I've watched that. Is that
- 3:37Speaker 1: a good show? Yes, it's very interesting. I haven't caught
- 3:40Speaker 1: up fully yet. I'm still in the COVID era right now.
- 3:43Speaker 1: It's like a minor league soccer team, right. Yeah. A
- 3:46Speaker 1: couple of those guys from Sonny bought their big soccer
- 3:50Speaker 1: fans it was Robin Ryan Reynolds too. Wait, so it's
- 3:53Speaker 1: a real soccer team, and what's the documentary on them
- 3:56Speaker 1: running the soccer teams? Him? Yeah, that's so it's just
- 3:59Speaker 1: one of the guys. So it's one of the guys,
- 4:01Speaker 1: Rob mclehenny the head guy of Philadelphia, and then Ryan Reynolds.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Ryan Reynolds to me just looks like the other guy
- 4:08Speaker 1: and Sonny, So that's I guess why I thought that
- 4:09Speaker 1: was two of them, Rue m Adam. The Office. Office
- 4:13Speaker 1: was the first, the first show that I ever binged,
- 4:16Speaker 1: and I think it just like hit me in all
- 4:18Speaker 1: the h all the comedic fields. I can still go
- 4:20Speaker 1: back to it and watch it every day and always
- 4:23Speaker 1: find some to laugh at. Yeah, The Office is my
- 4:26Speaker 1: favorite show too. It's first show ever downloaded. I remember
- 4:28Speaker 1: downloading it on my app on the iPod video. That's
- 4:33Speaker 1: actually what made that show successful because it wasn't doing
- 4:36Speaker 1: great in ratings, but when they started to put The
- 4:39Speaker 1: Office available for download video on iTunes, that show kind
- 4:43Speaker 1: of had a second life and they were like, wow,
- 4:45Speaker 1: this is another data point. Young people are downloading The
- 4:47Speaker 1: Office and watching it. Therefore, they gave it another shot,
- 4:50Speaker 1: and then it started to grow from there. But the
- 4:52Speaker 1: office was my dad and Walking Dead. It was a
- 4:55Speaker 1: massive show for me too for a long time, because
- 4:57Speaker 1: I just I think, how lucky are you in your
- 4:59Speaker 1: life that the world ends while' living and you can
- 5:00Speaker 1: just try to survive it. That sounds terrible way, that's
- 5:04Speaker 1: that's one take. That's one take right there. Millions and
- 5:07Speaker 1: millions of years, I mean, listen, our lives to blink anyway,
- 5:09Speaker 1: but it actually happens while you're alive, that the earth
- 5:12Speaker 1: is ending. What an event. I would kind of like
- 5:15Speaker 1: a peaceful life, you know, where you just kind of live.
- 5:17Speaker 1: It may not hear you, but we look at things different.
- 5:20Speaker 1: You want to, I'm doing the office as well. All right,
- 5:23Speaker 1: that's our warm up. I got everybody in right, Yes,
- 5:26Speaker 1: all right, let's go to the tittle tattle, stupid, the
- 5:31Speaker 1: tattle tattle. How far do you think Texas A and
- 5:36Speaker 1: M will fall before they buy out Jimbo fisher Man?
- 5:40Speaker 1: What is it like eighty six million or something? What
- 5:42Speaker 1: is the number this year? It's six that's a lot
- 5:46Speaker 1: of money. I just don't think they can do it
- 5:48Speaker 1: this year. They can do it. They have all the money,
- 5:51Speaker 1: I mean, Lane Kiffin was talking maybe yesterday the day
- 5:54Speaker 1: before about a coach and he was like, yeah, you know,
- 5:56Speaker 1: we wanted him here, but we got outbid formed by
- 5:58Speaker 1: a n M. Which it's kind on what they do,
- 6:01Speaker 1: you know, just kind of slides those in. That's constant.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I mean say, but everybody knows they don't get the
- 6:07Speaker 1: top recruiting class if they're not. But what they're doing
- 6:11Speaker 1: it wasn't illegal at the time. You can't now offer
- 6:15Speaker 1: kids and n I l for future. They're still doing it,
- 6:18Speaker 1: but you can't now. You could then because there were
- 6:19Speaker 1: no rules, and we're starting to see a few rules. Listen,
- 6:22Speaker 1: if they lose this week, it's just it's heat. It's
- 6:26Speaker 1: it's hard heat. And when does Jimbo Fisher go, you
- 6:30Speaker 1: know what, I'll take less of a buyout just to
- 6:31Speaker 1: get out of your hair so that it's so much money.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Let's just say, he goes, you know what, I'll take
- 6:38Speaker 1: fifty million in a room with these guys. You want
- 6:41Speaker 1: me out of here, because it's gonna get to the
- 6:43Speaker 1: point where he's not even able to go day to
- 6:45Speaker 1: day without being a distraction to him that he can
- 6:47Speaker 1: do his job. And he goes, okay, you want me
- 6:50Speaker 1: out of here million, that's not gonna be in the news.
- 6:53Speaker 1: But fifty million, I'll go they might just do it.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I don't think it happens this year. I think two
- 7:02Speaker 1: things are in play. One, they're still the argument of well,
- 7:06Speaker 1: these are all freshmen, the number one class of all time.
- 7:09Speaker 1: It's all freshman. What do you expect them to come
- 7:11Speaker 1: in and be Michigan Fab five. You don't do that
- 7:14Speaker 1: on a twenty two person football team where it's not
- 7:16Speaker 1: as singularly based with the talent. So that's one. And
- 7:23Speaker 1: so that's okay, Well, what do you expect? They were ready?
- 7:26Speaker 1: They were ready really high this year though, right, And
- 7:28Speaker 1: that's probably an unfair expectation set on them as well
- 7:30Speaker 1: because of that recruiting class that shouldn't translate into the
- 7:32Speaker 1: next year. So that's one. But to the other things
- 7:35Speaker 1: gonna happen is a lot of these kids are gonna
- 7:36Speaker 1: leave that that are that we're coming in. They're not
- 7:39Speaker 1: going to hang around. So you're gonna see the attrition there.
- 7:42Speaker 1: If I'm just guessing, maybe more if they keep losing,
- 7:48Speaker 1: some kids are going, hey, I'm gonna go and abow
- 7:49Speaker 1: out of this season because I don't want to get
- 7:51Speaker 1: hurt because I'm gonna enter the portal for next year
- 7:55Speaker 1: Texas and m Supposedly they're saying they're talking about it
- 7:58Speaker 1: because it's happening in a house they had to spend
- 7:59Speaker 1: some kids for apparently smoking weed right before a game,
- 8:05Speaker 1: So it seems like that program, as fast and loose
- 8:09Speaker 1: as it's being run to get the kids there, it's
- 8:11Speaker 1: also being run pretty fast and loose while it's happening.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Would I go, you know what, fifty million, I'll just
- 8:17Speaker 1: step out? Maybe, but yes, this year for eight six,
- 8:21Speaker 1: I don't think it's happening. If in the off season
- 8:25Speaker 1: they're like you gotta go, and he's like, we'll pay
- 8:27Speaker 1: me my seventy or whatever it is after this, Okay,
- 8:31Speaker 1: then pay me fifty and I'll go it could that
- 8:33Speaker 1: could happen, or they give it one more year because
- 8:36Speaker 1: he's got all the I don't know what the ends,
- 8:37Speaker 1: the end, the guts of that situation is there. But
- 8:39Speaker 1: it's funny to watch because I hate Texasana, especially how
- 8:44Speaker 1: after they beat us this year they were just I
- 8:46Speaker 1: guess I hate fan bases depending on how they treat me,
- 8:49Speaker 1: specifically when they play Arkansas me as a person not
- 8:54Speaker 1: in Arkansas. No, me, very selfish, me me me, because
- 8:56Speaker 1: they come at me and they're very some. They're very
- 8:58Speaker 1: mean to me. Kentucky Bass Sketball awful. Kentucky football pretty cool,
- 9:02Speaker 1: even though I'm like overrated because they know they're not
- 9:04Speaker 1: that good. Well because they have not they don't have
- 9:06Speaker 1: any sort of um. I'm here and I deserve to
- 9:11Speaker 1: be here, and anything I don't get is on. Kentucky
- 9:14Speaker 1: is cool. Football, They're like, look at us, we're doing
- 9:16Speaker 1: pretty good. Exective basketball awful. They wanted to murder me
- 9:20Speaker 1: when I did Mat Jones the show. They started to
- 9:22Speaker 1: physically hurt me. They're starting to come to my house
- 9:24Speaker 1: and hurt me. I couldn't bree. Texas and football like
- 9:28Speaker 1: my butt, same thing. I don't even growing up, I
- 9:33Speaker 1: was taught to not like the Texas Longhorns. But I
- 9:36Speaker 1: don't hate the fan base anymore. And I tell you
- 9:38Speaker 1: why because they haven't one enough to be arrogant in
- 9:40Speaker 1: a while. And that's what it is all about. Winning.
- 9:43Speaker 1: I hoped one day that we went enough that I
- 9:45Speaker 1: that I'm a hated group, that the arrogance is there.
- 9:48Speaker 1: That's the goal is to win so much you're arrogant
- 9:51Speaker 1: in football. I mean, I know some Alabama fans. They're
- 9:54Speaker 1: not bad people until that route for Alabama, and I
- 9:56Speaker 1: freaking hate him. Shut up, and I like them. I
- 9:58Speaker 1: actually have friends, and I'm like, I love you and
- 10:00Speaker 1: every way all the games on, Yeah, I hate your guts. Can.
- 10:02Speaker 1: I can't say. The thing that bothers me about Texas
- 10:04Speaker 1: and M is that they think that they're there. They
- 10:07Speaker 1: think they're Alabama. They beat Alabama one time, you know,
- 10:10Speaker 1: they think they're Alabama and they get the big head man. Well,
- 10:13Speaker 1: they have a superior to complex with Texas, and they've
- 10:16Speaker 1: been better than Texas for a while and made more money,
- 10:19Speaker 1: but they're still not better than Texas. I always just
- 10:21Speaker 1: saw it as like a weird rivalry where like and
- 10:24Speaker 1: M was like, yeah, Texas were better than you, but
- 10:26Speaker 1: Texas like, we're not worried about we don't think about
- 10:29Speaker 1: you ever. And I'll listen in long term, if I'm
- 10:32Speaker 1: looking at macrawl like A'm better than I do Texas
- 10:34Speaker 1: because I was born to hate Texas, but recently A
- 10:37Speaker 1: and M they're just it's tough. It's tough. That's that's
- 10:40Speaker 1: what I think is gonna happen there. They're gonna buy
- 10:42Speaker 1: him out now, but I think there'll be a settlement
- 10:43Speaker 1: if it continues to a road, which is what's happening
- 10:46Speaker 1: all right. Next, which one lost team has the best
- 10:48Speaker 1: chance to make the playoff? You got Alabama, Oregon, Oklahoma State,
- 10:53Speaker 1: or Penn State. I'm gonna take Penn State out because
- 10:58Speaker 1: if it's close, they're not getting to Look I thought
- 11:00Speaker 1: about taking them because they play a house state this
- 11:02Speaker 1: week anyway, So good luck. And you know what, I
- 11:04Speaker 1: think that like a twelve last time, I like they
- 11:06Speaker 1: were almost a two touchdown underdog fifteen and a half lost,
- 11:10Speaker 1: was it? Okay? I saw it was like twelve and
- 11:11Speaker 1: a half in earlier in the week. Um So I
- 11:14Speaker 1: mean I would still go Alabama because of what Alabama
- 11:16Speaker 1: is able to do. They're able to lose one and
- 11:18Speaker 1: come back and get in just from history. The problem
- 11:20Speaker 1: the difference in Alabama Tennessee is this that if Tennessee
- 11:24Speaker 1: loses one, Let's say the lose to Kentucky this week
- 11:26Speaker 1: and they only lose one, in Alabama continues to win
- 11:28Speaker 1: and they only lose one, Tennessee gets into the SEC
- 11:30Speaker 1: Championship game. So that just makes for an itchy situation
- 11:35Speaker 1: for one of those one lost teams, because then if
- 11:37Speaker 1: Tennessee loses the SEC championship game and they have two losses,
- 11:40Speaker 1: they're gonna let a too lost team, and which they
- 11:42Speaker 1: probably won't, but let's say they do let it to um,
- 11:44Speaker 1: a two loss team in from the SEC. Everybody else loses,
- 11:46Speaker 1: They're gonna let Tennessee and over Alabama, probably because Tesse
- 11:49Speaker 1: beat Alabama. It's gonna be tough. I feel like they
- 11:52Speaker 1: would just let Alabama in just because their Alabama. Tennessee
- 11:55Speaker 1: is gonna play Georgia j He's gotta play in touch.
- 11:58Speaker 1: It's a weird Alabama could get in through the West. Obviously,
- 12:02Speaker 1: who's gonna who's gonna hop in over Obama? I mean,
- 12:06Speaker 1: I think it's it's a that whole West situation with
- 12:09Speaker 1: Ole Miss, with l s U, those three could still
- 12:17Speaker 1: all be in play. Yeah, it depends on what happens
- 12:20Speaker 1: in L s U when they play next weekend. I
- 12:22Speaker 1: think it is Bama and l s U. And I
- 12:24Speaker 1: mean also what happens with Tennessee. And because Tennessee Obama
- 12:27Speaker 1: could play. If Tennessee beats Georgia, Obama wins, they could play.
- 12:32Speaker 1: But if George only has one loss. It's just a
- 12:35Speaker 1: weird situation. I may have talked you through a bunch
- 12:37Speaker 1: of things that probably won't happen. But that's the playoff.
- 12:41Speaker 1: But I go, I go Alabama. And then if Oregon
- 12:44Speaker 1: are they just get hummelate bout Georgia, You're gonna throw
- 12:46Speaker 1: them in the same tournament. If it's even that's a
- 12:49Speaker 1: big question, and they still have to beat us if
- 12:51Speaker 1: they do get there. I know, but yes, he's a fraud.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Everybody's a fraud. Everybody's a fraud. I'm gonna go Alabama
- 12:58Speaker 1: on that one. Go ahead. Do you think Tennessee will
- 13:00Speaker 1: be looking ahead and next week's show down against Georgia
- 13:02Speaker 1: and forget to show up this weekend against Kentucky? Is
- 13:05Speaker 1: that a thing question? Whenever you start asking are they
- 13:09Speaker 1: looking ahead? That reminds them not to look ahead. I'm
- 13:13Speaker 1: gonna say a little bit. They are playing at home,
- 13:17Speaker 1: they are coming off the UTU Martin game. Does account
- 13:20Speaker 1: they are coming off a big win. I think they
- 13:23Speaker 1: probably will be slightly underestimated Kentucky. And I'm gonna say
- 13:27Speaker 1: I think Kentucky gives him a run. Kentucky was like
- 13:31Speaker 1: a eleven or twelve point dog. When I looked earlier
- 13:34Speaker 1: this week, shocked to hear you say that. I know
- 13:37Speaker 1: me too. I think Kentucky gives him a run, and
- 13:41Speaker 1: I think Tennessee is a little too inflated right now.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I don't know that they win, but I think Kentucky
- 13:47Speaker 1: gives him a run. Things so they are forgetting about
- 13:50Speaker 1: this game and thinking about Georgia a little bit. I'm
- 13:53Speaker 1: gonna blow the whistle. Yeah, go ahead, just because I
- 13:55Speaker 1: feel like coaches are smarter than this, I get it,
- 13:59Speaker 1: but I mean, you have to remind them every single day.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I know you're thinking about Georgia. Stop that crap. Like
- 14:06Speaker 1: we're in focus on one team only right now, and
- 14:08Speaker 1: that's Kentucky. And I feel like that's got to be
- 14:11Speaker 1: ingrained in their brains while they're practicing all week. There's
- 14:14Speaker 1: no way that these teams, after over and over and
- 14:17Speaker 1: over when because it does happen that they forget about
- 14:19Speaker 1: who they're playing this week because they're so looking forward
- 14:21Speaker 1: to a team in two weeks. But I don't find
- 14:23Speaker 1: the time again, I get it, and I don't know why.
- 14:26Speaker 1: I feel like, at some point, guys, let's learn, let's
- 14:29Speaker 1: learn I mean, that's that's all coaching, right. I mean,
- 14:32Speaker 1: eighteen and nineteen year olds are generally the same if
- 14:35Speaker 1: you look at a large group of them. So it's
- 14:37Speaker 1: just how the coach is getting ready to prepare them.
- 14:39Speaker 1: I don't know how hips. I think they'll probably be
- 14:41Speaker 1: pretty focused, but also like they'll be pretty inflated in
- 14:44Speaker 1: the big game. The big games next week we're not
- 14:47Speaker 1: thinking about. I know, but it's like we're not focusing
- 14:50Speaker 1: on You don't think these nineteen year olds, they're not going, oh, yeah,
- 14:52Speaker 1: just get through this one. And it's like of course
- 14:54Speaker 1: or nineteen they for sure are saying that, Yeah, can
- 14:56Speaker 1: you imagine we would beat Georgia next week? This we
- 14:59Speaker 1: hold on an interesting wrinkle though Tennessee's defense against the
- 15:03Speaker 1: past terrible Kentucky Will Levis could face this week. So
- 15:07Speaker 1: that's the that's the one thing that I'm looking at.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Hope Kentucky wins. I think Kentucky will play well, and
- 15:12Speaker 1: so I don't know that they will win. I'm not
- 15:14Speaker 1: gonna bet. I'm not gonna touch in the game, not
- 15:16Speaker 1: to bet, but I think Kentucky plays better than people think.
- 15:19Speaker 1: I think they cover, but I ain't bet, and I
- 15:21Speaker 1: don't take that one all right, what's next going to
- 15:23Speaker 1: the NFL? Does it benching of Matt Ryan mean that
- 15:26Speaker 1: the Colts are waving the white flag on the season.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I don't think so. I was looking into Matt Ryan's contract.
- 15:33Speaker 1: And here is why they decided to move on from
- 15:36Speaker 1: Matt Ryan. Not because they don't think he can't win
- 15:39Speaker 1: this year. It's mostly about they don't want him next year.
- 15:42Speaker 1: And so if he plays um into next year and
- 15:47Speaker 1: he gets through whatever the date is, they have to
- 15:49Speaker 1: pay him an extra ten million bucks. And then if
- 15:51Speaker 1: he gets through his physical, they gotta pay him an
- 15:53Speaker 1: extra step. So then if he gets hurt after that,
- 15:55Speaker 1: they just they're just on the hook for another seventeen
- 15:56Speaker 1: million dollars. And they know he's not the guy. And
- 16:00Speaker 1: they think Eleanor, who by the way, jumped up in
- 16:02Speaker 1: the Pride. He was third string, he jumped folds to second.
- 16:05Speaker 1: They're already feeling pretty bullish about him. But then with Ryan,
- 16:09Speaker 1: they're going, Okay, he's not the future so much so
- 16:12Speaker 1: that we're just gonna dedicate two years to him now
- 16:14Speaker 1: because we're seeing what's happening. So we're gonna go and
- 16:16Speaker 1: move to Ellinger, who I think they believe in to
- 16:18Speaker 1: have a real shot long term. So I don't think
- 16:20Speaker 1: it's so much them waving the white flag this year
- 16:22Speaker 1: as it is, they're now going to take a I
- 16:25Speaker 1: don't want to say flyer. They're now going to take
- 16:27Speaker 1: a calculator risk on the future of the Colts Ellinger
- 16:31Speaker 1: at Texas. For me watching him, the team wasn't that good,
- 16:37Speaker 1: so I don't think you had a real time to shine.
- 16:41Speaker 1: I don't think we saw how good he can be.
- 16:44Speaker 1: He reminded me a lot of like, uh, Josh Allen
- 16:47Speaker 1: type of player. He definitely runs around, he throws well,
- 16:50Speaker 1: he and so when people were talking about how bad
- 16:53Speaker 1: he was a Texas I was like, I don't think
- 16:54Speaker 1: he was able to actually perform as good as he
- 16:57Speaker 1: possibly could have been or supposedly was coming out of
- 17:00Speaker 1: high school. But I don't think they have white flag.
- 17:03Speaker 1: I think they'll win some games. I mean they're not
- 17:05Speaker 1: Matt Ryan wasn't doing anything that managing a pretty good
- 17:07Speaker 1: game occasionally. They also haven't lost every game there are are,
- 17:11Speaker 1: but the time, yeah, right, are there? Three? Three and one?
- 17:14Speaker 1: Just going by memory. So it's not like Matt Ryan
- 17:16Speaker 1: came in and ruined the team. He definitely didn't win
- 17:21Speaker 1: games where they should have lost. He did keep a
- 17:26Speaker 1: game that they could have lost, which was that game
- 17:28Speaker 1: against was at Denver. What was the game they played
- 17:30Speaker 1: on Thursday? Yeah, where he just managed the game just right,
- 17:34Speaker 1: gets it down. But I'm good. I'm good with the
- 17:36Speaker 1: Colts doing that. I like it. I like Ellender. I
- 17:38Speaker 1: picked him up. He's gonna be my backup quarterback this
- 17:40Speaker 1: year this week on one of my fantasy times. Yes,
- 17:43Speaker 1: so I'm kind of bullish on him, all right, go
- 17:44Speaker 1: ahead as a double digit underdog for the first time
- 17:47Speaker 1: in his career. Aaron Rodgers faces off against the Bills
- 17:50Speaker 1: this weekend. Is they have a shot? The NFL is
- 17:53Speaker 1: so weird. I'm gonna go Yes, they have a shot,
- 17:54Speaker 1: just because the NFL is so weird. No other reason
- 17:56Speaker 1: am I saying it? Because I don't think they have
- 17:58Speaker 1: shown And Rogers been calling out as players all so much.
- 18:02Speaker 1: The Greg Jennings was doing an interview and he's like,
- 18:04Speaker 1: you shouldn't be calling out players. But Rogers like, if
- 18:07Speaker 1: I think again, I'm just gonna go for I don't
- 18:09Speaker 1: have a note here. He was like, there's happening wrong
- 18:13Speaker 1: all the time or something like that, like players in
- 18:15Speaker 1: messing up about twenty percent of the time when they're
- 18:17Speaker 1: on the field. It's very young, the receiving corps very young,
- 18:20Speaker 1: especially when Lizard is not able to be in. Uh,
- 18:23Speaker 1: Cobb has been hurt. He's also seventy And how fast
- 18:26Speaker 1: can you move with the walker? Dammy Watkins sing? Yeah,
- 18:30Speaker 1: so when you put dabbs, when you put you have
- 18:33Speaker 1: these these rookie receivers, there's a lot of mess ups.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Obviously they are professional, they should get it right. But
- 18:38Speaker 1: well they win, No, just because the NFL is wacky,
- 18:43Speaker 1: just because Carolina can beat Tampa, just because I'm gonna go, yeah,
- 18:46Speaker 1: they have a shot, but i ain't betting it and
- 18:49Speaker 1: I'm not touching that. That's a scary game. Half whistle
- 18:53Speaker 1: on this, give me a full whistle or nothing. Okay,
- 18:55Speaker 1: I'll give you a full whistle. That's the same level.
- 18:57Speaker 1: But go ahead. Look, look, yes, the NFL wonky right
- 19:00Speaker 1: Like you're like, oh, there's no way the Packers gonna
- 19:03Speaker 1: win this game. It's weird like that. But I'm going
- 19:05Speaker 1: to hell, No, they're not gonna win this game against
- 19:07Speaker 1: the Bills. This is it. This is this is the
- 19:10Speaker 1: final time we see um Aaron Rodgers looking as good
- 19:14Speaker 1: as he has looked in previous years. Guys, it is
- 19:17Speaker 1: what it is. They're not good. It's too late to
- 19:19Speaker 1: get it together. And they're playing the Bills. The Bills
- 19:21Speaker 1: are freaking amazing. They're gonna beat the crap out of
- 19:23Speaker 1: the Packers and that's going to happen. So I'd say,
- 19:26Speaker 1: bet it, you bet that what was spread last time
- 19:29Speaker 1: I saw I was eleven and a half. Do it.
- 19:31Speaker 1: It's gonna be a massacre. It definitely could be. I'm
- 19:34Speaker 1: not touching it just because of how wild the NFL
- 19:36Speaker 1: is that time. It is last weekend, I know, but
- 19:39Speaker 1: that's Tom Brady listening this year. I have no faith
- 19:43Speaker 1: in Tom Brady. What's going on? Letter for Nett couldn't
- 19:46Speaker 1: they couldn't even run the ball. It's not even a
- 19:49Speaker 1: Brady thing. I get it. They have the weapons and
- 19:51Speaker 1: they don't even have the weapon. And I did think about, like,
- 19:54Speaker 1: if there is a way they can beat the Bills,
- 19:55Speaker 1: it's it's their running game for sure. Like, but when
- 19:58Speaker 1: you have that kind of option, I mean, you're playing,
- 20:01Speaker 1: you're you're covering the running game and boom, there you go.
- 20:03Speaker 1: I just feel like the Bills are too good. Aaron
- 20:05Speaker 1: Rodgers is not getting together right now. I agree with
- 20:07Speaker 1: the Bills being too good. I do think though the
- 20:09Speaker 1: Packers can still come on. I think the thing about
- 20:11Speaker 1: having a really great veteran but not old quarterback is
- 20:16Speaker 1: that you can figure some crap out. I know they're
- 20:18Speaker 1: trying to trade for A J. Brown. No, uh, A J.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Green and he's a hundred, but still he probably knows
- 20:24Speaker 1: what he's doing. And there's a You can have people
- 20:27Speaker 1: that are a hundred if they know what they're doing,
- 20:29Speaker 1: if they can get to the right place that I
- 20:30Speaker 1: think they're just looking for any sort of upgrade. I
- 20:33Speaker 1: don't think anyone's going A J. Green is gonna come
- 20:34Speaker 1: and win the championship for Green bad. I think Aaron
- 20:36Speaker 1: Rodgers like, give me somebody who knows when I say,
- 20:37Speaker 1: run a slant, run a slant. Guys, can we get
- 20:40Speaker 1: someone under the age of fifty? But what would you
- 20:42Speaker 1: rather have a fifty year old or a twenty two
- 20:46Speaker 1: year old that can't run the plays? Right now? I
- 20:48Speaker 1: get it, But a J. Green, I mean he had
- 20:51Speaker 1: season in three dealings with whomever you can get. When
- 20:54Speaker 1: I saw that that's what they were looking for as
- 20:56Speaker 1: the trade. I like, man, there must be nobody that
- 20:57Speaker 1: they feel they can get right. All right? What else?
- 21:00Speaker 1: Last one? Do you think Bill Belichick is making the
- 21:01Speaker 1: right decision this weekend? Starting Mac Jones? Yeah, I mean
- 21:06Speaker 1: Mac Jones has been hurt. So you know, whenever Oh
- 21:11Speaker 1: Zappy came in and against the Bears in that first half,
- 21:16Speaker 1: I was like, oh, we got a quarterback change is
- 21:18Speaker 1: by the way, they're the same there. They looked like
- 21:23Speaker 1: I saw when they were playing the music over the
- 21:24Speaker 1: top and they were playing Stacy's Mom and it shows
- 21:27Speaker 1: Zappy looking at clipboard going Stacey's Mom like singing with
- 21:30Speaker 1: the music. Um. I like him, but they run two
- 21:34Speaker 1: different offenses. At Western Kentucky, he ran I don't think
- 21:38Speaker 1: he ever took a snap under center, and they it
- 21:41Speaker 1: was always they were passing path. If it's you know,
- 21:44Speaker 1: third and one, they're probably gonna pass it. Um. Mac
- 21:48Speaker 1: Jones definitely more of a pro style offense, run pass
- 21:52Speaker 1: under center. He's been hurt. I think it's mac Jones's
- 21:56Speaker 1: job to still lose while healthy. I didn't like it
- 21:58Speaker 1: when they bowed mac Jones. I hated that. I felt
- 22:01Speaker 1: bad for him. Man, bad look, that's a bad look,
- 22:03Speaker 1: bad feel. That's the guy took you the playoffs last year.
- 22:05Speaker 1: That's the guy's been hurt. So I get a sports
- 22:08Speaker 1: fans are stupid. I'm stupid when I'm a sports fan.
- 22:10Speaker 1: But it's Mac Jones until Mac Jones is healthy and
- 22:13Speaker 1: then loses it. Also, when you don't have a real
- 22:15Speaker 1: offensive coordinator. Yeah, not that Patricia is not really good
- 22:19Speaker 1: and not that, but when you got split, it's just
- 22:22Speaker 1: like if you have two offensive cordators, do you even
- 22:24Speaker 1: have one? It's like two quarterbacks. But I like mac
- 22:28Speaker 1: Jones asked me next week, you're the you're the fan.
- 22:30Speaker 1: What's happening there? I love it in the sense of
- 22:33Speaker 1: going back to mac Jones just because. And I'm also okay,
- 22:35Speaker 1: if we're gonna go with him, then you just gotta
- 22:37Speaker 1: go with him. So I'm messing with his head. I
- 22:38Speaker 1: don't like what the fans did last weekend either at home.
- 22:41Speaker 1: He looked bad, their offense look bad. But you gotta
- 22:43Speaker 1: stick with him. About to be the quarterback Mack Jones
- 22:47Speaker 1: all season? Are you committing right now to all season
- 22:49Speaker 1: and then let's see what happens. Yeah, because I think
- 22:51Speaker 1: we know what Bailey is, appy is, he's fun, he's
- 22:53Speaker 1: electric at times. But mac Jones is the guy that
- 22:55Speaker 1: you drafted in the first round. Mac Jones got to
- 22:57Speaker 1: the playoffs last week. So it's like that does has
- 22:59Speaker 1: been injured. He's answered, So ride with him. I agree,
- 23:03Speaker 1: Ride with him until you decide you're not going to
- 23:06Speaker 1: ride with him anymore, and then take it. Then trade
- 23:09Speaker 1: him right and you get some pretty good pieces for him.
- 23:11Speaker 1: All right. That is the tittle totlettle. I want to
- 23:22Speaker 1: go over now and talk to Eric Would, who all
- 23:25Speaker 1: American who played at Louisville, who's drafted in the first round,
- 23:29Speaker 1: who played with the Bills forever, who he mentions they
- 23:32Speaker 1: offered him a contract to stay and be be Josh
- 23:35Speaker 1: Allen Center. It's really Good's really great interview. He's radio
- 23:38Speaker 1: team up there in Buffalo, and so we talked about that,
- 23:41Speaker 1: the Bills, what it's like to play cold, change of positions.
- 23:43Speaker 1: So I hope you enjoyed this interview because I did.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Is really cool talking with him. Here is Eric Wood.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Eric are you man? How about Hey? Pretty good? Super
- 23:52Speaker 1: pumped to have you on. I have a lot of
- 23:54Speaker 1: questions and I'd like to start talking about the bills first,
- 23:58Speaker 1: because obviously that's a big party your every day right
- 24:01Speaker 1: now and obviously a big part of your career. When
- 24:03Speaker 1: you're playing for Buffalo and it's the winter, does your
- 24:07Speaker 1: blood literally get thicker and it's not as cold to you?
- 24:10Speaker 1: Are you just always miserable? You just don't act like it. Well,
- 24:13Speaker 1: I'll say this, I don't love the cold. And people
- 24:15Speaker 1: all the time now will say, how are you sensitive
- 24:17Speaker 1: to the cold when you played your entire career up
- 24:20Speaker 1: in Buffalo because we live in Lobo, Kentucky now, And
- 24:23Speaker 1: I'll say, just because you deal with it doesn't mean
- 24:25Speaker 1: you ultimately like it. Now, the only time during an
- 24:28Speaker 1: NFL football game, if you're playing in a really cold game,
- 24:30Speaker 1: the only time you really get truly cold during the
- 24:33Speaker 1: game is if you catch yourself on the field during
- 24:36Speaker 1: a TV time out, Because on the field or on
- 24:38Speaker 1: the sideline there's heat blowing from both directions. You have
- 24:40Speaker 1: the big park on the benches are heated. When you're playing,
- 24:43Speaker 1: when you're actually playing, your adrenaline's going. It's those TV
- 24:46Speaker 1: timeouts that could really get you though. Well, I I
- 24:48Speaker 1: don't know. I don't think I have enough adrenaline. I
- 24:50Speaker 1: did Bear Girls a couple of times where we went
- 24:52Speaker 1: to Norway, we went to the mountains and northern California.
- 24:55Speaker 1: It was like minus two or hanging off cliffs and
- 24:57Speaker 1: jumping off helicopters, and I still for there was never
- 25:00Speaker 1: a moment where my adrenaline one out over the cold.
- 25:04Speaker 1: I was freezing the entire time. I think in every
- 25:06Speaker 1: way possible, Eric, you're just a bigger man than I am. Yeah,
- 25:09Speaker 1: you can say that. Hey, so how hard is it
- 25:12Speaker 1: to change positions on the offensive line? And I asked,
- 25:15Speaker 1: because we've had to see this a bit in a
- 25:17Speaker 1: few different situations. Uh, you know with the Rams with Cincinnati,
- 25:21Speaker 1: big big line changes. Even with the Chargers a bit,
- 25:25Speaker 1: you had to do this. You had to move uh center,
- 25:27Speaker 1: guard guard, center. So how hard is that? Because it
- 25:30Speaker 1: seems like it's just one position and one slot over.
- 25:33Speaker 1: But what's the difference. Yeah, you know, there's different nuances
- 25:36Speaker 1: with each position. Now. Luckily, when I was playing right guard,
- 25:39Speaker 1: my right hand was down, go to center. My right
- 25:41Speaker 1: hand is down when you flipped to the opposite side.
- 25:44Speaker 1: It can be really tough on some of these tackles
- 25:46Speaker 1: and guards, and I've heard it explain, try and use
- 25:50Speaker 1: the restroom and wipe with your opposite hand. It's just
- 25:53Speaker 1: when you have muscle memory one direction, it can be difficult.
- 25:56Speaker 1: And I know it seems like it would be so easy,
- 25:59Speaker 1: but you're talking about years of working on movement patterns
- 26:03Speaker 1: that you have to completely reverse, and it's not always
- 26:06Speaker 1: as easy as it seems. Does Some guys pick it
- 26:08Speaker 1: up a lot easier and it's almost the most simple transition,
- 26:11Speaker 1: and then others, again, it's like playing golf the opposite hand.
- 26:14Speaker 1: I mean, is it that drastic. I don't know if
- 26:16Speaker 1: it'd be as drastic as playing golf with the other hand,
- 26:19Speaker 1: But you know those guys that can do it and
- 26:21Speaker 1: adapt very quickly, those guys are probably really good athletes.
- 26:26Speaker 1: And I say that most guys on an NFL field
- 26:30Speaker 1: are going to be really good athletes. But those superior athletes,
- 26:33Speaker 1: they can flip back and forth with with more ease
- 26:35Speaker 1: than someone who's not quite as athletic. You know, obviously
- 26:38Speaker 1: they were coming from Buffalo. Now, head coach of the Giants,
- 26:42Speaker 1: did you expect to see that team in that culture
- 26:44Speaker 1: turn around or and turn around so fast? No? I didn't,
- 26:48Speaker 1: because it seemed like they were going to have a
- 26:50Speaker 1: similar trajectory to that eighteen Bills team that really struggled
- 26:56Speaker 1: Josh Allen's first season. Uh really, they started with Nathan
- 26:59Speaker 1: Peterman to start the year and then Josh Allen takes over.
- 27:02Speaker 1: But they had a ton of salary cap trouble and
- 27:04Speaker 1: not a ton of talent on the team. And when
- 27:06Speaker 1: you looked at the way this team with the Giants
- 27:09Speaker 1: has built, it's not far off. You're thinking, hey, we're
- 27:11Speaker 1: building towards the future. We're gonna try and draft, well,
- 27:14Speaker 1: eventually we'll get our long term quarterback in there. This
- 27:17Speaker 1: team has come out and played great ball. Brian day
- 27:19Speaker 1: Ball is simply out scheming people at times, and to me,
- 27:24Speaker 1: it's been fun to watch. I texted Joe Shane and
- 27:26Speaker 1: Brian day Ball after the first game when they went
- 27:29Speaker 1: for two against the Titans, and they could have tied
- 27:31Speaker 1: it and tried to go to overtime, but they both said,
- 27:33Speaker 1: we wanted to instill that winning mentality and now I
- 27:36Speaker 1: guess it's paid off. But I'll say this, they are
- 27:39Speaker 1: playing a brand of football that can win right now
- 27:42Speaker 1: and they're simply pounding people with se Kwon Barkley and
- 27:45Speaker 1: doing it in so many different ways. You know, we
- 27:47Speaker 1: haven't seen the Wildcat use this much in years, but
- 27:50Speaker 1: he's using the talent he has up there well, even
- 27:52Speaker 1: with Daniel Jones. And you know last week Dania Jones
- 27:55Speaker 1: did for two hundred and rush for a hundred, and
- 27:57Speaker 1: it feels like and you can correct me, because you're
- 27:59Speaker 1: far more knowledgeable on this than I am. What Dabels
- 28:01Speaker 1: doing is building an offensive system that Jones can thrive
- 28:04Speaker 1: in instead of forcing him into a system that already exists.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Is there anything to that? Yeah? Absolutely, And I think
- 28:10Speaker 1: that's what the best coaches do. You know, this offense
- 28:12Speaker 1: does not look like the offense that he ran the
- 28:14Speaker 1: last four years in Buffalo when he had a different
- 28:17Speaker 1: set of playmakers on offense, and so he's adapted to it.
- 28:20Speaker 1: He has more of a run blocking offensive line as
- 28:23Speaker 1: opposed to a pass blocking offensive line. The most talented
- 28:25Speaker 1: player under team is Sae Kwon Barkley. Okay, how do
- 28:28Speaker 1: we use this asset. We're gonna run the football more.
- 28:30Speaker 1: We're gonna get in these power sets with an extra
- 28:33Speaker 1: offensive a lineman, two tight ends on the field, and
- 28:36Speaker 1: we're gonna let Sa Kwan run the ball. Both ways
- 28:39Speaker 1: it's fun to watch. Do you still wish you were
- 28:41Speaker 1: playing only because you'd have Josh Allen behind you at center?
- 28:45Speaker 1: You know what? I was given a contract extension before
- 28:47Speaker 1: the seventeen season to be that veteran center for whoever
- 28:51Speaker 1: the Bills would end up drafting. Now it ends up
- 28:53Speaker 1: being Josh Allen, who's an incredible person, incredible player. Yes,
- 28:57Speaker 1: I would, I would. I would want to still be
- 28:59Speaker 1: playing pro football for many reasons, but Josh Allen would
- 29:02Speaker 1: pretty much be up there as one of the top ones.
- 29:05Speaker 1: If anything. You know, you can pot into a young
- 29:07Speaker 1: guy like that, and that's a way that you can
- 29:09Speaker 1: leave a legacy in the NFL as well. Do you
- 29:11Speaker 1: watch him in flinch when he decides to run through somebody.
- 29:15Speaker 1: I mean he's a big guy obviously and can run,
- 29:17Speaker 1: but still he's the prize. He's the guy that's making
- 29:20Speaker 1: the whole offense move. Are you ever like bro just
- 29:22Speaker 1: get out of balance or slide? Yes, all the time,
- 29:26Speaker 1: all the time. And I talked to him before a
- 29:28Speaker 1: preseason game I believe is in twenty nineteen, and I said, hey,
- 29:33Speaker 1: you know the goal today, don't get touched one time.
- 29:36Speaker 1: It's a preseason game, and he said, you know, sometimes
- 29:38Speaker 1: I just like that little bit of contact early gets
- 29:41Speaker 1: me into the game. I'm like, well, we're gonna have
- 29:42Speaker 1: to break you out of that sometime soon. But I'll
- 29:45Speaker 1: say this about Josh Allen and people get on him
- 29:47Speaker 1: about how much he decides to run the ball himself
- 29:49Speaker 1: because Ken Dorsey, their offensive coordinator right now, he's not
- 29:52Speaker 1: calling that many designed runs. But Josh Allen will take
- 29:55Speaker 1: off out of the pocket. If you completely take that
- 29:58Speaker 1: out of his game, maybe he's not as dynamic through
- 30:00Speaker 1: the air. And really you don't want to ever take
- 30:03Speaker 1: away any of that competitiveness that makes them so great.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Why does a center have to be so intelligent? Talk talk,
- 30:10Speaker 1: dumb guy, Because again, I I never played offensive line,
- 30:14Speaker 1: never played at a level where at some of these
- 30:16Speaker 1: players that are called are so crazy. But they always
- 30:18Speaker 1: say the center in the quarterback of the two smartest
- 30:19Speaker 1: people on the field. What what do you have to
- 30:21Speaker 1: know a center? Well, I'll say this based upon your
- 30:25Speaker 1: central location in the offense. And you're generally dictating a
- 30:28Speaker 1: lot of the blocking assignments at the line of scrimmage,
- 30:31Speaker 1: mainly because you have the best vantage point to be
- 30:34Speaker 1: able to tell people on both sides of you would
- 30:36Speaker 1: be really hard for the left tackle to communicate all
- 30:38Speaker 1: the way across the line. And so based upon the
- 30:40Speaker 1: central location, you are in charge of diagnosing the defense
- 30:46Speaker 1: and then ultimately getting wait. And so it requires I
- 30:50Speaker 1: don't want to even say intelligence, but some very quick
- 30:54Speaker 1: thinking with that play clock running down. In high pressure situations,
- 30:58Speaker 1: if you see a guy blitzing on the right, how
- 30:59Speaker 1: what how do you say to your right Well, I
- 31:02Speaker 1: guess right left your left tackle? That are you able
- 31:05Speaker 1: to say right? I'm getting my side is confused. Let's
- 31:08Speaker 1: just say someone's blitzing on a side. How do you
- 31:09Speaker 1: tell that tackle that there's someone coming? Like? What's the
- 31:12Speaker 1: terminology you use? So it kind of depends on the
- 31:15Speaker 1: blocking scheme, Like you could tell everyone on the line,
- 31:18Speaker 1: we're gonna slide the entire Like if we think the
- 31:20Speaker 1: left defensive end is dropping in someone's blitzing off the
- 31:23Speaker 1: right side, we might slide the entire offensive line that
- 31:25Speaker 1: way and leave the running back for that defensive end
- 31:27Speaker 1: who's likely dropping, or could be some sense where the
- 31:30Speaker 1: left side is just man to man one on one
- 31:33Speaker 1: against whoever, and then we're gonna slide center over to
- 31:36Speaker 1: the right side. It could. It's generally rn L words.
- 31:40Speaker 1: You know, rip Liz ram lion. You can get more
- 31:45Speaker 1: creative New York l A East and West. You know
- 31:48Speaker 1: you can. We're creative with it. Do you have do
- 31:50Speaker 1: you have fake audibles? We'll use audible for this. Do
- 31:53Speaker 1: you have like quarterbacks to where they get up and
- 31:55Speaker 1: they'll say a munch crap it doesn't mean anything, or
- 31:57Speaker 1: like in baseball? Yeah, do you have fake ones? Always?
- 32:00Speaker 1: And we know which ones hit the parabolic mics on
- 32:03Speaker 1: TV that are picking up the sound. And so if
- 32:06Speaker 1: we said something on a pass play one of the
- 32:08Speaker 1: first run plays of the game, we're the next game,
- 32:11Speaker 1: we're gonna throw it out there. We're gonna all say it.
- 32:13Speaker 1: We want the defense to never be able to trust
- 32:15Speaker 1: their ears. And with as great as the broadcasts are nowadays,
- 32:19Speaker 1: they can pick up a lot of your calls simply
- 32:21Speaker 1: from the broadcast. So yeah, we're we're giving dummy calls
- 32:24Speaker 1: all the time throughout a game. You went in as
- 32:26Speaker 1: a first round pick out of Louisville. And when you
- 32:29Speaker 1: go in as a first rounder, is there more of
- 32:31Speaker 1: an expectation, even a spoken expectation on you than someone
- 32:35Speaker 1: coming in that was drafted around three or four. Yeah,
- 32:38Speaker 1: I think so, and and some of it's spoken and
- 32:40Speaker 1: some of its internal pressure that you put on yourself.
- 32:43Speaker 1: But you know, when you when you become a first
- 32:45Speaker 1: round draft pick to an organization, they're saying that we
- 32:49Speaker 1: want you to be an integral piece of this moving forward.
- 32:53Speaker 1: When I got to the Bills, we ended up being
- 32:54Speaker 1: in the longest playoff drought in all of professional sports.
- 32:57Speaker 1: So I put a lot of weight on my own
- 32:59Speaker 1: shoulder as a first round draft pick of being one
- 33:01Speaker 1: of the guys that would get us out of that
- 33:03Speaker 1: playoff drought, and thank god we were able to in
- 33:05Speaker 1: the season, which ultimately became a last Are the build
- 33:09Speaker 1: is gonna win it this year? You think? I think so.
- 33:11Speaker 1: I mean, I do think that they're the best team
- 33:12Speaker 1: in the league. I think their battle tested um. That
- 33:15Speaker 1: being said, there's just so many factors between now in February.
- 33:18Speaker 1: But if you're looking at who's the months now, Yeah,

- 34:33Speaker 1: it to transition? Because I know you've done a great
- 34:35Speaker 1: job at this going into the private the business community
- 34:38Speaker 1: as well. You're I mean, you play at Louisville, you're
- 34:42Speaker 1: freshman All American, You're killing it at every level and
- 34:45Speaker 1: football is then over. It's everything that you've done from
- 34:48Speaker 1: probably age six until you retire, and now it's like
- 34:52Speaker 1: it's spinning you because you have to go and pursue
- 34:54Speaker 1: something you've never done before, which is a non football life.
- 34:57Speaker 1: How hard was that for you? And what do you
- 34:59Speaker 1: do first when it happens? Yeah, there's obvious challenge. You're
- 35:03Speaker 1: transitioning into something for you and you got to take
- 35:06Speaker 1: a certain level of humility into all situations, understanding there's
- 35:10Speaker 1: so much you don't know about the business world, about
- 35:12Speaker 1: the broadcast world, and try to be a constant learner.
- 35:16Speaker 1: And really I had to channel some of my like
- 35:19Speaker 1: kind of earlier football journey in this. I was only
- 35:21Speaker 1: given one scholarship. Coming out of high school. I had
- 35:24Speaker 1: one scholarship to the University of Louisville, and so kind
- 35:27Speaker 1: of that mindset that I took to be then become
- 35:29Speaker 1: a first round draft pick was just stacking daily wins.
- 35:33Speaker 1: What's a winning day in college of a great workout,
- 35:36Speaker 1: a great practice, watching film, whatever that may be. Okay,
- 35:39Speaker 1: what's it gonna look like in this next chapter of life?
- 35:41Speaker 1: And part of that is knowing where you want to
- 35:43Speaker 1: get to. Like for me, I want to be a
- 35:45Speaker 1: rock star dad and husband. I want to succeed in
- 35:48Speaker 1: the broadcast world. I want to make sound investments and
- 35:51Speaker 1: uh be successful financially as well. I want to be
- 35:53Speaker 1: strong in my faith. Okay, what do I need to
- 35:55Speaker 1: do each and every day to stack wins to make
- 35:57Speaker 1: that happen? Because I'm not gonna be an overnight success
- 36:00Speaker 1: in business or broadcasting, just like I was not an
- 36:03Speaker 1: overnight success in football. Stacking wins. I like it because
- 36:06Speaker 1: it's it's very small goals to get the big prize
- 36:10Speaker 1: because again, every single day you do it right all
- 36:14Speaker 1: the little ways, usually big things happen. Like I can
- 36:17Speaker 1: appreciate that. Outlook, do you talk about this on your
- 36:19Speaker 1: podcast I Do, I Do, I talk about it often
- 36:22Speaker 1: and my podcast What's Next with Eric Wood. We've had
- 36:25Speaker 1: everyone from athletes to entertainers, to country music singers to
- 36:30Speaker 1: c e O s, two pastors. I want to learn
- 36:32Speaker 1: from everybody, and I truly do believe you can learn
- 36:35Speaker 1: from anybody out there. And and and something that often
- 36:39Speaker 1: comes up to your point about stacking wins. We often
- 36:42Speaker 1: can overestimate what we can get done in a day
- 36:45Speaker 1: or a week, and way underestimate what we can get
- 36:48Speaker 1: done in one to five years. These big goals seem
- 36:51Speaker 1: so unattainable. But as anybody that has built platform, even
- 36:57Speaker 1: like you have Bobby, it's constant dale. He wins, stacking
- 37:01Speaker 1: them one after the other. And then all of a sudden,
- 37:03Speaker 1: now you're sitting in a position where you have millions
- 37:06Speaker 1: of people listening to you. Yeah. I did a show
- 37:08Speaker 1: on Saturday night, m a stage show, so I do
- 37:10Speaker 1: comedy and motivational speaking. And I was talking about training
- 37:13Speaker 1: for a triathlon, which I hate. I hate running. I
- 37:15Speaker 1: hate running in every way. And when it was like
- 37:17Speaker 1: you need to go train to run ten miles, I
- 37:19Speaker 1: don't like that. I can't see ten miles and go, well,
- 37:21Speaker 1: I could do it. But when I ran tree to
- 37:23Speaker 1: tree before I knew it two miles, six miles, I
- 37:26Speaker 1: just running tree to tree, small small, look at that tree,
- 37:28Speaker 1: go to it, Go to that tree, go to it,
- 37:30Speaker 1: Go to that house, go to it. Before I knew
- 37:31Speaker 1: what I was able to do ten miles because I
- 37:34Speaker 1: didn't look at the ten miles as Okay, I gotta
- 37:35Speaker 1: go out and tackle ten miles as one big bite.
- 37:38Speaker 1: I looked at it is one little I just stacked wins.
- 37:40Speaker 1: That's what I did. I stacked just like you're staying there.
- 37:43Speaker 1: That is exactly how I got through some of the
- 37:44Speaker 1: most challenging large goals was look at it as a
- 37:48Speaker 1: lot of little, tiny goals. And I can definitely subscribe
- 37:51Speaker 1: to your theory there. Eric, Well, I'll say this. Had
- 37:54Speaker 1: uh Rob O'Neil on my podcast, who was the Navy
- 37:57Speaker 1: seal who killed Osama Bin Ladney was all, so they're
- 38:00Speaker 1: rescuing Captain Phillips, and I asked him how he got
- 38:03Speaker 1: through budge training. He wasn't a great swimmer. If you
- 38:06Speaker 1: look at him, he's not the most physically imposing guy.
- 38:08Speaker 1: And he said early on, I got some great advice
- 38:11Speaker 1: to just quit tomorrow. Don't quit today, make it to
- 38:15Speaker 1: breakfast tomorrow, and after breakfast quit then. And often we
- 38:19Speaker 1: will quit just before we get to that goal, or
- 38:23Speaker 1: we'll quit too soon. But if you make it tree
- 38:25Speaker 1: a tree, or if you just make it the breakfast
- 38:27Speaker 1: the next day, all of a sudden, you have all
- 38:29Speaker 1: that hard work behind you and you're fulfilled, all right,
- 38:31Speaker 1: So you guts. Check out what's next with Eric Wood.
- 38:34Speaker 1: That's his podcast. Hey, what is your relationship with dan
- 38:38Speaker 1: O's Seasoning. Yeah, so I am part owner of Danos Seasoning,
- 38:42Speaker 1: which is a seasoning company that's based out of Louisball, Kentucky.
- 38:45Speaker 1: All natural, no sugar, low sodium, gluten free, um all
- 38:51Speaker 1: ingredients that you can read and you understand what they are.
- 38:54Speaker 1: And for me, I've been on this weight lost journey
- 38:56Speaker 1: since leaving the NFL. I've played at about three pounds
- 38:59Speaker 1: I'll walk around maybe two fifty now. So this goes
- 39:03Speaker 1: right in line with that. But I had Dan Oliver
- 39:04Speaker 1: on my podcast, dan Oh Dana dan Oliver on my podcast,
- 39:09Speaker 1: and I loved his story of just perseverance, him starting
- 39:14Speaker 1: a seasoning company when he was fired from his dream job.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Now working at a bar cooking in the kitchen and
- 39:20Speaker 1: someone said, this is the best chicken I've ever had,
- 39:21Speaker 1: would you use to cook it with? He takes that
- 39:24Speaker 1: and pivots um, and really he gets on TikTok, gets
- 39:32Speaker 1: a couple million TikTok followers, and now he'll do eight
- 39:35Speaker 1: figures and sales this year and doing one heck of
- 39:38Speaker 1: a job. So that's a that's a company I've really
- 39:40Speaker 1: enjoyed being a part of. And when you transition out
- 39:42Speaker 1: of the NFL, you're always looking for that kind of
- 39:45Speaker 1: next team, that next locker room, and that Dano's team
- 39:47Speaker 1: has been great for me. One final question for you, Eric,
- 39:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna go to Tampa. What do you think is
- 39:53Speaker 1: the biggest issue going right now in Tampa with the
- 39:54Speaker 1: Bucks and Brady Man? It's hard to put your finger on. Uh.
- 39:58Speaker 1: They don't look very explosive on offense, the big plays aren't.
- 40:02Speaker 1: But something just seems a touch off with Brady in
- 40:04Speaker 1: the offense. Defensibly they're not making the bigot that they
- 40:09Speaker 1: were the last couple of years, but but offensively there's
- 40:12Speaker 1: something just a touch off, and that can happen when
- 40:16Speaker 1: there's off field distractions and look up a failing marriage
- 40:20Speaker 1: and everything that's going on with Tom Brady and who
- 40:22Speaker 1: knows what else with other guys. Off field distractions can
- 40:26Speaker 1: cause a lot of that, And I feel for those
- 40:28Speaker 1: guys in that locker room because that's a tough situation
- 40:30Speaker 1: to be in when you have the greatest quarterback of
- 40:32Speaker 1: all time and you just can't seem to put it together.
- 40:35Speaker 1: How you guys, check out what's next with Eric would
- 40:38Speaker 1: And also, I'm gonna give me some Danio seasoning because uh,
- 40:41Speaker 1: I'm no sugar. I do no sugar. It's hard except
- 40:44Speaker 1: on Saturdays because I love sugar. But I'm gonna give
- 40:46Speaker 1: me some seasoning, but no sugar Danio seasoning. Eric. I
- 40:49Speaker 1: appreciate you. Congratulations on you know, all the moves, after
- 40:54Speaker 1: all the moves you made while in the NFL. Your
- 40:56Speaker 1: transition has been, you know, um, really inspiring to see.
- 40:59Speaker 1: And thank you for the time today. Yeah, thank you
- 41:01Speaker 1: very much for having me on. And we will make
- 41:02Speaker 1: sure we send you some products so you don't have
- 41:04Speaker 1: to rush out and get it. We will send you
- 41:05Speaker 1: some product. Bobby has already worn up the car, all right,
- 41:07Speaker 1: I'll shut it down. I'll shut it down, Eric Wood.
- 41:10Speaker 1: Thank you, Eric good to see you, buddy. Yeah. Likewise,
- 41:12Speaker 1: thank you Bobby, all right, thanks to Eric Wood. Really cool.
- 41:15Speaker 1: I love that we can guess like that they can
- 41:16Speaker 1: actually teach us stuff because we say a lot of stuff,
- 41:20Speaker 1: but we don't know how much do we actually? You know,
- 41:23Speaker 1: we have opinions. We don't come here thinking that people
- 41:25Speaker 1: are gonna listen to the show to learn how to
- 41:27Speaker 1: run a cover three? Yea, what is it? Cover three? OK?
- 41:32Speaker 1: And I got it. You dropped five back eddie. You
- 41:36Speaker 1: know what? Um, don't even a nickel, no, a dime. No,
- 41:41Speaker 1: it's just more drugs and it's more secondary folk types
- 41:47Speaker 1: by removing linebackers and stuff like that. You got it.
- 41:49Speaker 1: It's good what we're supposed to do. Nobody wants to
- 41:52Speaker 1: hear these shows breakdown. There's podcasts like that, and that's
- 41:55Speaker 1: what you want to listen to. Yeah, but don't. By
- 41:57Speaker 1: the way, I did, look, Mike, here's a question for you.
- 42:01Speaker 1: I looked at some podcast ratings and we were in
- 42:04Speaker 1: the top hunter for the first time that I saw
- 42:06Speaker 1: first top overall one hundred. But then I went to
- 42:08Speaker 1: sports and we weren't even listened in the sports category,
- 42:11Speaker 1: but we were way over the sports ones in the
- 42:13Speaker 1: sport So are we not listened as a sports podcast?
- 42:16Speaker 1: We are? Something was up because we were in the
- 42:18Speaker 1: overall top one hundred. And then I went and looked
- 42:21Speaker 1: because I saw some sports podcast that we were beating
- 42:23Speaker 1: some pretty big ones. And then I went and looked.
- 42:25Speaker 1: We weren't even in above those that we were beating
- 42:28Speaker 1: in the overall that's weird. Sometimes when they categorized those,
- 42:31Speaker 1: it's thrown off. Yeah, I was like, I guess we're
- 42:32Speaker 1: not a sports but we were in the overall top
- 42:34Speaker 1: one hundred this podcast that it was like ninety seven,
- 42:37Speaker 1: So don't get a bone or too big. But it
- 42:39Speaker 1: was still the first time that I had seen this
- 42:41Speaker 1: show break into the overall top one hundred, climbing right well,
- 42:46Speaker 1: it felt pretty quick. Also the next day I was
- 42:48Speaker 1: not there, So I think it's based on that goes up.
- 42:54Speaker 1: It's like they rushed to it. Yeah, so so yeah,
- 42:59Speaker 1: thank you guys for listen. We never expected this to
- 43:01Speaker 1: really get as big as it has, and now we're
- 43:03Speaker 1: faced with that. We know when do we quit? Oh,
- 43:08Speaker 1: we're quitting after whistles, We're almost there almost. I've asked
- 43:17Speaker 1: Eddie not to put the camera too close to my face.
- 43:19Speaker 1: I had mouth surgery and I'm trying to talk about
- 43:20Speaker 1: it a whole lot, but the whole right side, left
- 43:22Speaker 1: side of my face is so sore, the top part
- 43:24Speaker 1: and alstars all under my lip, those inside ones that
- 43:28Speaker 1: feel like cuts all under. I got one on my gums,
- 43:30Speaker 1: one on the side. My lip busted right here, and
- 43:33Speaker 1: so it has been pretty different. Lip cracked from dry hard. Well,
- 43:38Speaker 1: you know, you may feel bad, but you don't look bad. Like.
- 43:40Speaker 1: That's not me hitting on you. I'm just saying like
- 43:42Speaker 1: it feels like it is the fattest lip in the
- 43:45Speaker 1: history of lips. It's not. They put that thing in
- 43:48Speaker 1: your mouth, they hold your mouth open and it gets
- 43:50Speaker 1: dry and it's on me. Did not and it it busted.
- 43:54Speaker 1: So now it's gonna cut. It's healing now. But now
- 43:56Speaker 1: I found a pulse in my lips. Honestly, when we're
- 44:01Speaker 1: playing golf faster, I thought you had herpies. So I
- 44:03Speaker 1: kind of like, I'm good, I'm glad kiss after and
- 44:07Speaker 1: we didn't. I was playing so well, I wanted to
- 44:09Speaker 1: kiss you. I and I called my doctor. I was like, Hey,
- 44:11Speaker 1: what do I do about this? Do I have a
- 44:13Speaker 1: favorite blisters? And a colt. I've never had one, and
- 44:15Speaker 1: he's like, you ever had one? I said, no, he goes,
- 44:17Speaker 1: it's not that. Then he said, you ever go You've
- 44:18Speaker 1: been to the dentist. I said, oh yeah, he goes in.
- 44:21Speaker 1: I said, oh my lip busted at the dentist. He goes,
- 44:23Speaker 1: that's it. He goes. How do you know he goes,
- 44:25Speaker 1: is it above the teeth that's been said? Oh yeah
- 44:27Speaker 1: it is, because literally, I mean it's right here. He's like,
- 44:30Speaker 1: he's like, everything says to you that this is the issue.
- 44:34Speaker 1: All right, let's go and get in. Adam steps as
- 44:42Speaker 1: Adam half all years steps for you at UMTS. We're
- 44:47Speaker 1: gonna start in the h in college football, y'all know,
- 44:50Speaker 1: Jimbo Fisher has just been my favorite dude to pile
- 44:51Speaker 1: onto this year. Um from the very get go. Uh.
- 44:54Speaker 1: The numbers too. That's how many green Back American dollars
- 44:58Speaker 1: it will cost you to go to Kyle Field and
- 45:01Speaker 1: watch the Aggies host. You can get a ticket for
- 45:04Speaker 1: two dollars right now. It's cool deal. I got one
- 45:07Speaker 1: of those dollar bills for some reason. Get me into
- 45:11Speaker 1: a game. Okay, that's a far from the from the
- 45:15Speaker 1: average dollars fans paid for the season opener versus Sam
- 45:18Speaker 1: Houston States. So there you go. UM the other one
- 45:21Speaker 1: for the NFL. UM. We've talked a lot about how
- 45:23Speaker 1: nutty the games have been this year. Lots of bad
- 45:26Speaker 1: football played right now in the NFL. UM. This season,
- 45:30Speaker 1: the NFL has recorded its lowest average margin of victory
- 45:33Speaker 1: in the history of the league. Very very few blowouts
- 45:36Speaker 1: this year. Um, but that's kind of a mind blow.
- 45:38Speaker 1: And stat to me, every game outside of the Bill
- 45:41Speaker 1: Bills and Chiefs just straight up coin toss. M translation.
- 45:45Speaker 1: Vegas is making a lot of money. Um, hitting like crazy.
- 45:50Speaker 1: And I ain't bet unders because of the most boring
- 45:51Speaker 1: things to watch. I never bet an under. I almost
- 45:54Speaker 1: never bet an over either, but I found about anything
- 45:56Speaker 1: for extra fun. I bet the over just because I'm
- 45:59Speaker 1: gonna watch defense. Yeah. No, god no, My favorite is
- 46:03Speaker 1: the over because once you hit it, you're like, all right,
- 46:05Speaker 1: time to get a beer. I won that one. Yeah.
- 46:08Speaker 1: Is there an NFL game this year that you guys
- 46:10Speaker 1: have lost money on that you were sure was gonna be? Mony?
- 46:14Speaker 1: All of them? Yeah? I mean I'm looking. I pulled
- 46:16Speaker 1: my list up and it's all the games every yeah.
- 46:20Speaker 1: I mean I could pick any of them, the Colts
- 46:22Speaker 1: and the Titans. When the Colts were given to an
- 46:24Speaker 1: half points, I was like, for sure they'll do that,
- 46:26Speaker 1: and they didn't. Um, yeah, I'm gonna have f twenty here.
- 46:30Speaker 1: I've lost so much on the Ravens. On the Ravens
- 46:32Speaker 1: because they come out with like a huge lead and
- 46:34Speaker 1: then somehow end up winning by like three points. You
- 46:37Speaker 1: know one, I'm gonna go to the last one. When
- 46:38Speaker 1: I bet the Patriots minus four against the Bears, I
- 46:40Speaker 1: was like, there's no way. That's so dumb. I was like,
- 46:42Speaker 1: there's no way they lose this what And then they
- 46:46Speaker 1: just ran the ball. Chicago ran the ball design quarterback
- 46:49Speaker 1: runs the whole time and had the Patriots number, and
- 46:50Speaker 1: I was like, what's happening. Heck at halftime, I was like, Oh,
- 46:53Speaker 1: they got this right. It's unbelievable. They got blasted. I
- 46:57Speaker 1: forgot how passionate I was about this. I couldn't believe
- 47:00Speaker 1: eve it. So there's one that I was like, I
- 47:01Speaker 1: cannot believe this is the Bears. The Bears. What's happened?
- 47:04Speaker 1: They haven't done anything right all season? What's happening right now? Yes,
- 47:07Speaker 1: that's the one. So yes, a lot of unders, a
- 47:10Speaker 1: lot of parody, which is the reason I say the
- 47:12Speaker 1: Green Bay game, it probably won't Eddie, but I'm just
- 47:15Speaker 1: saying it is a shred. It's it leaves a shred
- 47:18Speaker 1: for me to go. You never knew it's the NFL,
- 47:20Speaker 1: and that's the NFL. All right, Adam, thank you. That's
- 47:27Speaker 1: he's got those sets. I like those stets. Do you
- 47:32Speaker 1: wanna talk about Tom and Giselle for a second, because
- 47:34Speaker 1: apparently sources confirmed that it is all all all about football. Yeah, yeah,
- 47:42Speaker 1: that's what we figured. It sounds right. They've just changed
- 47:44Speaker 1: the narrative a bit. First it was all about football
- 47:47Speaker 1: than it wasn't that. It's apparently more fan but really
- 47:50Speaker 1: a source is now saying the problems between Brady and
- 47:53Speaker 1: Giselle are entirely about football. Tom threw his family and
- 47:57Speaker 1: many sports fans o Curve when he unretired, which I
- 47:59Speaker 1: thought was awesome. I love a good listen every time
- 48:02Speaker 1: Brett Farve came back at L's awesome. I didn't care
- 48:05Speaker 1: who he played for. I just like drama. I love
- 48:06Speaker 1: quarterback controversies. I just love I love a storyline. When
- 48:10Speaker 1: they had followed Brett. Far from the airport, they get
- 48:12Speaker 1: a helicopter showing like an old truck driving from there.
- 48:14Speaker 1: I was like, this is it everybody everybody wearing wranglers.
- 48:18Speaker 1: That's him cut in. I don't care what you I'm watching,
- 48:21Speaker 1: cut into it. Uh So it apparently is all about
- 48:25Speaker 1: football and him saying I'm out and then him saying
- 48:27Speaker 1: I'm coming back. But boy, that's a lot. That's not football.
- 48:31Speaker 1: That's respect. He did not respect his wife's wishes. And
- 48:34Speaker 1: I think we all know the married ones in this room, like,
- 48:37Speaker 1: what are you thinking? So that the story that I
- 48:39Speaker 1: read there from Hollywood Life, I like to say, first
- 48:40Speaker 1: of all, the source could be anybody, could even be
- 48:42Speaker 1: Tom Brady right setting up a story. Sure, I don't know. Um. Yes,
- 48:46Speaker 1: it is about respect, and it is about the fact
- 48:49Speaker 1: if he told her let's just look at some possibilities.
- 48:53Speaker 1: Maybe he said there are two years ago, I'm gonna
- 48:55Speaker 1: play one. Maybe that's a huge fight two years ago
- 48:58Speaker 1: massive But she's like, okay, we're not going to get divorced.
- 49:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna give you one more season. And that was
- 49:03Speaker 1: the last and okay, he got one more season, that's it.
- 49:06Speaker 1: He's like, okay, and then I'm retiring. Like maybe. The
- 49:09Speaker 1: big fight was two years ago after he won the
- 49:12Speaker 1: Super Bowl maybe, and he told Maybe he we're doing
- 49:15Speaker 1: maybees because that's whatever's lots of But if we're just
- 49:18Speaker 1: as signing maybes, let's just do our own. Years ago
- 49:20Speaker 1: he said I'm gonna win a super Bowl amount and
- 49:22Speaker 1: they had built their life depending on that, and then
- 49:24Speaker 1: he changed it and she's so mad and she's like,
- 49:27Speaker 1: I want to get a divorce, and they have counseling, like,
- 49:29Speaker 1: you know what, I'm gonna play one more year. The
- 49:31Speaker 1: compromise was one more year. They did that compromise what
- 49:34Speaker 1: she didn't want to do because that's not what he said.
- 49:35Speaker 1: They compromised, and then he goes back again and does
- 49:38Speaker 1: I'd be piste too, Yeah, I got it. Maybe. Uh.
- 49:41Speaker 1: Gazelle knew about the flight Gate and she was like, look,
- 49:43Speaker 1: you need to come clean and tell everyone about She said, no,
- 49:47Speaker 1: there's no way I'm gonna do it. And she said,
- 49:48Speaker 1: do it or I get a divorce. It's the only
- 49:50Speaker 1: thing that makes sense. Here we go. But Tom Brady
- 49:52Speaker 1: is still so good looking. He had like a nose
- 49:57Speaker 1: job or something something right job, maybe a cheek thing
- 50:02Speaker 1: or something. Yeah, he just lost a lot of weight
- 50:03Speaker 1: because those cheek Maybe I think something's up. I'm into it.
- 50:07Speaker 1: I think it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He's a really
- 50:10Speaker 1: good looking guy. Like how lucky are you to be
- 50:13Speaker 1: a great quarterback and that good looking? It's like America's position.
- 50:16Speaker 1: Everything suffers though, man, but like we can't have it all,
- 50:20Speaker 1: So here we go the family stuff. But he's had
- 50:21Speaker 1: it forever. He's got the cheeks, he's got the games.
- 50:26Speaker 1: Let's have the money. Another supermodel is gonna be lining
- 50:28Speaker 1: up for him. Oh for sure, I'm absolutely yeah, he's Yeah.
- 50:34Speaker 1: I look at him like dad, like this guy, he's
- 50:36Speaker 1: like probably better. Look now he's ever been. Do you
- 50:38Speaker 1: honestly think though that this is why he's not performing
- 50:42Speaker 1: the way he usually performs. Um, I think they have
- 50:44Speaker 1: like eight So okay, this is gonna air on Friday.
- 50:47Speaker 1: We did this late Thursday, but we didn't we didn't
- 50:50Speaker 1: get to watch the game, right, so we're gonna say this.
- 50:52Speaker 1: We haven't seen the game. They have like eight people injured.
- 50:56Speaker 1: So no, I don't you don't think the personal life
- 50:59Speaker 1: is good. I think it's but I've said before, I
- 51:01Speaker 1: think the personal life is the easy story to make
- 51:03Speaker 1: out of everything. Do I think it could be affecting
- 51:05Speaker 1: it a little bit, sure, But I think in his
- 51:07Speaker 1: whole career he's had incidents happened that have been really
- 51:11Speaker 1: big and he was able to compartmentalize and play as
- 51:13Speaker 1: the champion. But guys, we've seen the goats fall when
- 51:15Speaker 1: their personal life crumbles. We've seen in Tiger Woods as
- 51:17Speaker 1: soon as his personal life felt he was also playing
- 51:19Speaker 1: when he gotta go pregnant and left her to go
- 51:21Speaker 1: to just as a whole Tom Yeah, it seems like, well, yeah, okay,
- 51:27Speaker 1: that was crazy left her two months that I forgot
- 51:33Speaker 1: about that. So my point is, yeah, it could be
- 51:36Speaker 1: a factor. It could be a weighing factor once. But
- 51:39Speaker 1: they don't have that. They don't not like severs. They don't.
- 51:44Speaker 1: They're missing linemen. I think they had eight people out
- 51:47Speaker 1: going into the game last night and so and I
- 51:50Speaker 1: believe they were Again with this is that we have
- 51:53Speaker 1: seen the game, so you guys can roast me hard.
- 51:54Speaker 1: I think they win, and they're they're a couple of
- 51:56Speaker 1: point dog they were one last time I saw. We
- 52:00Speaker 1: haven't seen the game, but you know they lost, and
- 52:05Speaker 1: leave them both, leave them both and Eddie, I'll do
- 52:08Speaker 1: the first one, you do the second one. I told you, guys,
- 52:11Speaker 1: never doubt Tom. Like he's been through a lot of adversity.
- 52:15Speaker 1: The guy has won more Super Bowls than anybody else.
- 52:18Speaker 1: He is the greatest of all time. And that was
- 52:20Speaker 1: hard for me to say because I think Peyton Manning
- 52:21Speaker 1: is the greatest, actual end game quarterback. But Tom Brady
- 52:23Speaker 1: is a champion. Tom Brady is the greatest, And last
- 52:25Speaker 1: night was just a bit of what you're going to
- 52:27Speaker 1: see the rest of the year. They're gonna patch up together,
- 52:29Speaker 1: they're gonna make it to the playoffs, and then once
- 52:31Speaker 1: they get there, let's go if people are healthy. That's
- 52:34Speaker 1: the guy you want leading. I told you last night
- 52:36Speaker 1: the Bucks would win. And here we go. All right now,
- 52:39Speaker 1: du Russell Wilson, All right, Eddie, you're up, dud Uh
- 52:42Speaker 1: do do they lost it? Look? We hate to see
- 52:45Speaker 1: the Goats fall down, right, but but it is it
- 52:48Speaker 1: is what it is. Tom's having a terrible year. You
- 52:51Speaker 1: saw it last night. He couldn't make anything happen. I
- 52:54Speaker 1: know we want the Goat to be winning again. This
- 52:57Speaker 1: is it, guys, It's over. It's over for Tom. You
- 52:59Speaker 1: saw it. Snight. I hate to say it, but it's
- 53:02Speaker 1: I don't even think that they're gonna make the playoffs
- 53:04Speaker 1: after this loss. What play was it last night? Where
- 53:06Speaker 1: you thought this game is over and Tom just doesn't
- 53:08Speaker 1: have it anymore? Oh the last minute pick man, I mean,
- 53:11Speaker 1: can't you can throw into double coverage like that? You're crazy? Yeah,
- 53:14Speaker 1: I mean when he slept on the banana pill or
- 53:17Speaker 1: the sprinklers came out that I couldn't believe it stink
- 53:20Speaker 1: sobody smashed the Buffalo wild Wings button. It's tough. Yeah,
- 53:24Speaker 1: poor Tom, and I just I just hope that he's
- 53:27Speaker 1: able to bounce back. I mean, when gisl ran on
- 53:29Speaker 1: the field last night screaming out, it was embarrassing. It
- 53:32Speaker 1: was embarrassing, and so I hope they patched it together.
- 53:35Speaker 1: But you're right, Eddie, they lost last night and it
- 53:37Speaker 1: was not good. It is only uphill from here, and
- 53:42Speaker 1: I believe both those in someone's gonna be right. Whichever
- 53:45Speaker 1: one you like the most, just go with it. I
- 53:46Speaker 1: think we were too detailed on mine, though, because I
- 53:49Speaker 1: think there's gonna be a banana peal or end of
- 53:51Speaker 1: the game if that happens. So, oh, dude, geniuses with

- 54:46Speaker 1: There you go. Mike Evans and the autograph story has
- 54:49Speaker 1: been interesting. They come off the field last week and
- 54:51Speaker 1: you see Mike Evans signing something for referee and my
- 54:54Speaker 1: first thought was, why would they do that in public?
- 54:56Speaker 1: I don't care what it is. Why would you They
- 54:58Speaker 1: were in the tunnel, though, that's still a public with
- 55:00Speaker 1: people's phones. That's public. That's why. That's how they got
- 55:04Speaker 1: caught as soon as they saw the phone. I don't
- 55:07Speaker 1: do it there. I don't do it there. I don't
- 55:08Speaker 1: know what they're saying. They both are A and M folks.
- 55:10Speaker 1: They're hooking the ref up with the golf pro. I
- 55:13Speaker 1: get it, and if that's all fine, and but don't
- 55:17Speaker 1: do that there. You have to be smart enough to
- 55:19Speaker 1: not do it there because then people are gonna go,
- 55:22Speaker 1: that's shady because it looked shady. I actually believe the
- 55:26Speaker 1: golf story. You do, yes, but it looks shady. Ass
- 55:31Speaker 1: so does a So a ref can't be a fan
- 55:34Speaker 1: or or or not even a fan. A ref can't
- 55:36Speaker 1: get an autograph for a nice I don't know the rule,
- 55:39Speaker 1: but not in public, and I would think no. I
- 55:41Speaker 1: would think the answer is no, But I don't know.
- 55:44Speaker 1: Sucks for ref, but no. I think that's part of it.
- 55:47Speaker 1: You have to remain with no bias, and bias would
- 55:50Speaker 1: be hey, you're my favorite player, you sign my Wiener. Yeah,
- 55:53Speaker 1: that's pretty much what happened. That's kind of like living
- 55:55Speaker 1: in Nashville. You don't you don't go to the restaurant
- 55:57Speaker 1: and see your favorite country singer and you're a country
- 55:59Speaker 1: singer too, You don't just like interrupt that guy's meal
- 56:02Speaker 1: to go grab an autograph for your for your cousin. See,
- 56:05Speaker 1: I feel like it's more like a cop Well, I
- 56:08Speaker 1: feel like this is different than that, because this is
- 56:10Speaker 1: somebody who has to regulate. Yeah. Yeah, this is like
- 56:13Speaker 1: if you're the person doing the awards for the c
- 56:15Speaker 1: m A s and you're the one that's put in
- 56:17Speaker 1: charge of making sure the right winner, and yet you
- 56:20Speaker 1: see more and you go up to Morgan Wallan, who's nominated,
- 56:22Speaker 1: be like before they announced it, be like, bro, will
- 56:24Speaker 1: you sign this c m A card for me for
- 56:26Speaker 1: my niece? Yeah? Whatever, But it's like, but you're the
- 56:28Speaker 1: one that's picking who's gonna win the c m A
- 56:30Speaker 1: and you want the guys signing it because you're big.
- 56:33Speaker 1: It just feels even though it's probably not. Yeah I
- 56:36Speaker 1: don't think it is, but it just sucks for reps.
- 56:38Speaker 1: They can't be like I mean, you know, they're around
- 56:41Speaker 1: all these superstars and they can't get one autograph. It
- 56:43Speaker 1: sucks for them. Yeah, but who wants autograph anymore? Autographs
- 56:47Speaker 1: are old school unless it's like on memorabil ya that
- 56:50Speaker 1: that memorabil you means something like a jersey or something
- 56:53Speaker 1: that'd be cool, which is a grown man you know? Yeah, yeah,
- 56:57Speaker 1: grown man like is cool. There are grown men that
- 57:01Speaker 1: if I go play show at the rhyme and if
- 57:03Speaker 1: I'm doing the offering and I have to go, there's
- 57:05Speaker 1: like grown men. They're like, how are you signed this
- 57:06Speaker 1: for me? And I always am, but I'm always if
- 57:09Speaker 1: it's a grown man by himself and he's like fifty
- 57:11Speaker 1: three and he's got a picture of me printed out,
- 57:14Speaker 1: I always am like thanks man. And I don't know
- 57:19Speaker 1: if he's really just a fan, that's awesome, but I
- 57:20Speaker 1: always feel like he's selling it or something for sure
- 57:22Speaker 1: for sure, So that's why I'm always like, are we
- 57:25Speaker 1: I'm like, I'll sign it, but it feels a little weird.
- 57:28Speaker 1: You remember Josh Hamilton's for the Rangers. I went to.
- 57:32Speaker 1: I was at a game and he was walking down
- 57:34Speaker 1: to the dugout and there was all these fans and
- 57:37Speaker 1: a guy through the baseball down to him to sign,
- 57:40Speaker 1: and so he signed it and he threw it back
- 57:42Speaker 1: to the guy and the guy caught. He's like, no, no no, no,
- 57:45Speaker 1: He's like, no, give it to the girl. I don't
- 57:46Speaker 1: want you to have it. Give it to the little
- 57:48Speaker 1: girl right there. And the guy that gave him the
- 57:50Speaker 1: baseball is like, but I gave it to He's like, yeah,
- 57:52Speaker 1: I don't want you to have it. I want the
- 57:53Speaker 1: girl to have it. And so he gave it to
- 57:55Speaker 1: the girl. And I was like, well, all right, that
- 57:56Speaker 1: was kind of weird. But Josh Hamlen is like, what
- 57:58Speaker 1: do you want it for? You're probably gonna out it.
- 58:00Speaker 1: Give it to the little girl. She'll like it more. Yeah.
- 58:02Speaker 1: The Bears traded Robert Quinn of the Eagles, and the
- 58:04Speaker 1: Eagles just loading up. I mean, it's not even like
- 58:08Speaker 1: the Eagles really needed them. Its depth and they are dynamic.
- 58:14Speaker 1: I did just see by the way I just came
- 58:15Speaker 1: through his Kdarius Tony went to the Chiefs. He did
- 58:19Speaker 1: they needed that. I wonder if he is he healthy? Yeah? Yeah?
- 58:24Speaker 1: Third and a six Wow, they got a third and
- 58:28Speaker 1: a six got him. Stand by, what are you picking
- 58:33Speaker 1: him up right now? Ye? Stand by? Well, I just
- 58:41Speaker 1: dropped a running back that I had, which maybe wasn't
- 58:43Speaker 1: the best. I just don't have enough, dude. I can't
- 58:47Speaker 1: pick up any more Chiefs. I just picked up the
- 58:49Speaker 1: Eagles defense too for this week. That's just a good
- 58:52Speaker 1: defense in general. I know, I'm as fur as they
- 58:54Speaker 1: were still out there and how the Packers were just
- 58:57Speaker 1: and he's probably not going to be ready this week. Dang.
- 59:02Speaker 1: It's like McCaffrey when he played last week. You know, like,
- 59:05Speaker 1: how many plays do do you know when you just
- 59:07Speaker 1: joined the team two days ago or four? Yeah, I
- 59:10Speaker 1: mean McCaffrey asked for the book and so he got
- 59:15Speaker 1: it headed over. Yeah, but which I mean, he's not
- 59:18Speaker 1: to memorize all those plays. Maybe these guys are just differ.
- 59:21Speaker 1: A lot of it's similar, just different lingo. Well depending, Yeah,
- 59:26Speaker 1: and he's been around Longnome. Sometimes they call two plays
- 59:28Speaker 1: at once in the hot walk in case they check off.
- 59:30Speaker 1: It's like, I don't want to know those words you
- 59:32Speaker 1: just said, buddy. I'm trying to see, right, I can't
- 59:35Speaker 1: even see who. I'm sure signs or something definitely signs
- 59:39Speaker 1: all right, idiot, he got there before I didn't want
- 59:41Speaker 1: of course, because he doesn't do anything for work, Like
- 59:43Speaker 1: he just sits there and watch his players. Well whatever,
- 59:46Speaker 1: so teams making moves, we like it. You wish that
- 59:49Speaker 1: for Roger's sake? He could? I mean, don't even awesome
- 59:52Speaker 1: for green Bay, although I don't really want to go
- 59:53Speaker 1: play in Green Bay. It's if I hate cold, that's miserable.
- 59:56Speaker 1: That sucks. Okay, So that the Eagles get better. M hmm,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: that's great. Can the Eagles want it though? Yes, for sure,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: I think they could. They got a good shot. I know.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: I don't think they're a top winning the Super Bowl
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: different the power rankings number one, the Chiefs, number two
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: of the Bills. This is your power rank Yeah, number
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: three after we saw the game last night, Oh man,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: I mean they're definitely game changer, is changing all sorts
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: of needles. Let me do this. And I was gonna
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: put the Bucks number three, but after they lost last night,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: I can't even put them there. Smart terrible. Yeah, I
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: guess the Eagles are three or four, huh. And I
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: only don't put them at three because I don't know
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: who else I put there. I just it's just hard
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: for me. It all depends on Jalen Hurts and if
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: not that Josh Allen does it, but I feel like
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: he's so he's not the same size, the same like
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: get hit, get up type guy, or even just carryous
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: team like Josh does. Yeah maybe I actually had a
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: shot though he Alan has an extra year on him, right, yeah,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: does Josh have one extra year on yes? Yes? Yeah?
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: So anyway whatever? Wait, wait that you stopped at three?
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: What's up? Four? Well? I think the Cowboys are pretty good.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: I like it. I thought you'd put the Niners. Then
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: we make it before Cowboys. Well that was it? Well
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: I don't. I mean the Niners are solid now Yeah,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: so I'm talking about the Bengals are starting to look good.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: Their offensive lines jelling there, it's tough. Hey, let me
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: hear you. How about dose boy? Work on it? Okay,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: so let's move to this. Let's do the update real quick.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: Any updates on our coaches. We're booking Kevin with the
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: Big leading amazing, what a great interview, Eddie? Anything? Oh anything?
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: I've I'm about to move on with Auburn because that's
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: just not gonna happen, like loses the job. I don't
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: want to talk to us. So, guys, I got an
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: inside tip on someone who is meeting with coach Dan
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Landing from Oregon right now about us interviewing him on
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: this podcast. Okay, I have an insider talking to him,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: but they're in a meeting right now, as we take it.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: If you get it, we'll take it. Yeah, you'll take it.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: We'll take it. We'll count it. Mike Judges that a
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: d on Instagram. Maddie, damn it. Did you get that too? Yeah?
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Somebody hit me. Wait wait wait did you respond though, Mike,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: that's what I'm talking about. What do you mean it's
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: not cheating? And you say anyway we can get the coach. Mike,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: what are you doing. I'm not in a position where
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I need that. Oh I do. I'm in a bad position.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: So who's who is it? Listener? Yeah, buddy, the buddy
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: who reached out somebody he works for the now, he's
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: just a listener. He works for the workers organization and
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: was meeting with coach today and he said on the
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: agenda is your podcast And there's a little bit there's
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: a trade. Yeah, they want to ask for something. No,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: it's no big deal. It's a picture of you and
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: me with him with you in Vegas when we play
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: a show yeah, no problem. I said, what do you mean, Mike,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: of course he's good with it. Why not? Okay. I
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: like how Mike had to bring that part of we
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: didn't need to bring it up, went up meeting great
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: for a coach interview. What I'm saying, but I said,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: I kind of threatened him at the end. I said,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: if if you don't come through with this, I'm gonna
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: ghost you. I will block you on Instagram. I will
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: never answer. We'll find you and get you out of
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: the room. But I told him, good, Yeah, I'm okay
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: with that. I accepted. We're scratching and that's a good
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: That's a good one. Mike. And update, I got no update. Okay,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: you're moving on. No, okay, Kevin, no update reached out
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: having her him back yet and you have right now.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: I have Mike Leach and nothing yet nothing. No. No's
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: a tough one, man. That is a tough one. Adam.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I got a got a confirmation, uh to get myself
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: back even Par from FCS Powerhouse, the University of Central
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: Arkansas Purple Bears. My guy Nathan Brown head coach over there.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: He's gonna come on and give me back to even Par.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: It's gonna talk about the incredible stripe turf they got
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: down in Conway and all the good stuff we do. Yeah, man,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: graduate from whatever it takes. Let's go. That's my dude
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: right there. Nathan Brown, he was he was a quarterback
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: at U c A. And now's the head coach and
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: he's got rolling over there. So you booked it already.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I have a book the time. I gotta gotta figure
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: that out with Mike. But but he he agreed to
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: come on the show this morning. Alright, good deal. Yeah,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: who's our teams to win it all? Still, we're checking
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: in real quick, Mike, can you read us who we've
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: all put our money on. I think I've moved mine
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: five or six months, start college or college college. Adam
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: has Ohio State, Eddie has Alabama, Kevin also has Alabama.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: I have a Georgia. Bobby has Arkansas. Now I've moved mine.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: You moved it, I think, so they're not. Okay, I'm
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: gonna sell Arkansas. I'll move it to you moved it
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: once to Arkansas. Yeah, okay, I thought I in my
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: dream that I did. I think you Wantbama first, right, yeah?
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: And then I moved off to them like am not
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: gonna go with Arkansas. Okay, I'm going to go with
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: Georgia with I can't get on it. Then Land, Okay, okay, okay,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: did he see you? I'm gonna go with you. I
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: can't pick Tennessee guys, you have to because I'd rather
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: shoo himself in the neck. But I'm gonna go with Oregon. Nice.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: Now Michigan. What's Michigan ranked for? They're in the mix.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: They're in the mix. Yeah, yeah, yeah, So I'm going Michigan.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: I just can't do Tennessee. It's against everything I stand for.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Like I would if I if I was using my brain.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: I just can't there, I can't. You're thinking about it, Yeah,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: I can't do it? Well, how about coach Hype is
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: going to hear that and he's never gonna come on.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: That is respecting a team when you can't. That's what
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: I just said earlier. I should hate you because it
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: drives me crazy. You win. I want people to be
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: like Arkansas. Yeah, uh yeah, Mike, pro teams pro teams. Wait,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: how much money do I own? Now? One dollar? Than two?
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: Oh four bucks? Four more dollars? So seven total? Yes?
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: One for the first one. Then two when I switched it,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: multiply that times two four oh seven dollars seven dollars
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: for NFL. I have the Bucks, Kevin has the Bucks,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: Adam has Bengals, Eddie has the Bills, Bobby has the Chiefs,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: and Jordan Davis has the Bills. Okay, I still like
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: where I sit there, and they won't change bucks. And
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: then you guys better call a new team if you're
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: gonna call it. After they won last night? I guess
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: can I change mine of the Eagles? Oh yeah, I'm
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: doubling up his money one to two dollars and moving
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: over to the Eagles. Now, Kevin after they won last night? Yeah, Kevin,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: after they lost last night, they still got it there
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: in a week division, Uh, all right? One better? Fifty bucks,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: but when a thousand bucks if Houston beats Philly, and
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: this will be really cool if the World Series ends up,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: but the Astros being a winner. One better. A gambler
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: took a fifty dollar shot predicting the Astros will beat
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: the Phillies in the World Series. Both all of it.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: That's a tough bet. So he got fifty bucks and
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: when did he make that bet? There's a cash out
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: off for a forty eight thousand massive profit. But if
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: he hits it, buck, I'm cashing out. Yeah, I'm probably
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: hedging it in some way. I don't think I'm cashing out,
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: but I'm gonna hedge it where at least'm making like
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: grand it work. That's crazy, all right, Um, let's do
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: the parlay. I've really I've not had a good run.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: Do you need me back in it? I don't care?
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: Alright already then on the year, still very successful. Just
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: but it's what I've you done for me lately? I

- 1:08:49Speaker 1: All right quickly because we gotta move here the game
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: you're most excited about. I'll go first, Kentucky at Tennessee.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: I think it's gonna be closely than people think it's
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: at Tennessee. Let's go be be In. That's a big
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: blue nation. I was wondering what that one. Beattie, thank you.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna go Colts and Commanders. I want to see
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: what Sam Ellinger is all about. Yeah, I'm excited about that, Kevin.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: I'm going Pats and Jets. I gotta see Mac Jones back.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: The Jets are on the ring, so let's see bring
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: it yeah, you do it every week, but I didn't
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: do it this week. Adam ringing for me too, because
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: Arkansas Auburn man, Arkansas needs to win this game. I
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: want to see him back in the top twenty five. Man.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: I want to see him, see him getting back together
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: and roll down the stick in check Arkansas too. Guys.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: We gotta stop picking our our favorite teams. That's the
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: first one I picked up of Arkansas. Though. Come on,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: the heck is happening here? I've been saying, Oh yeah,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: then let me get we get questions about the three
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: and four Patriots in the tittle tattle? Come on, well
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: for that controversy? Yeah yeah, okay, all right, I agree
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: with that. Alright. Final thought, guys, as we go around
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: the room. Here here's my final thought. The Giants are
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: a big dog at three point under dog Seattle, which
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: I think it's their six and one. I love it.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: I'm big Giants fan. Now you know what. I'm a believer.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna belie, are you? I'm a believer? Now I
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: haven't been I may not be next week. But Daniel
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: Jones are running an offense made for him. What has happening?
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: He rushed for a hundred yards last week through Seattle
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: is good too, I think, and he looks, goofy is
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: crap doing it? Yeah he does. He was born for that.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: If they beat Seattle, it's all the same, but it's
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: even more the same. You're like, wow, Okay, I think
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: they I like it. And Seattle is pretty good too,
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: the otherly in the division. So I'm I'm excited to
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: see the Giants. I'm betting on the Giants plus three
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: and let's let it. Let's let it rip, let it roll.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: You know what are you laughing at Daniel Jones fan wagon?
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: Right now? How's your Cowboys fans? You have a lot
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: to learn about being a Cowboys fan. How about whatever
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: you guys say? Eddie, Oh guys, you know bones my dude. Right,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: But he said the stupidest thing yesterday, sir, Wait, what
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: the dumbest thing I've ever heard him saying? Ahead, he
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: said that in the NFL today, no injuries, he could
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: run for a hundred yards for a whole season as
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: a running back. This is what I said. I can
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: rush for a hundred yards complete all in seventeen games.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: I could get a hundred yards rushing all in what
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: an idiot and wait, wait, you're not even counting that
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: You're gonna lose yardage and that's going to count against you.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna line up right behind the center, I think. Listen, listen,
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: I think I could get seven eight yards a game total.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: That You're ridiculous. That's the dumbest thing. Puts me over
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: a hundred yards. Can we bring this up to Jerry? Yeah,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: I think I could rush all season. If I'm the
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: primary back carries the game. I think I can rush
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: for a hundred yards through a season. How stupid is that?
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: Like you guys think you believe it. There's no way,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: no way. I don't know I believe by the way,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: let me read you my bets. You guys, bet all
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: these are all winners. Okay, Giants plus three, Oklahoma minus one,
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: Arkansas minus three and a half, Ole miss minus two
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: at Texas A and m A. Kentucky plus twelve. That's
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: what you want to hear before a bet. Those are
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: all winners. Count them. Kevin. We've talked about the game
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: so much today, Kentucky Tennessee, and for the first time
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: I will be going to an SEC game, going to
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: Knoxville this weekend, and I am super stoked. Wow, good
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: for you and I can't wait. That's awesome, Adam. I
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: got to go to Hawaii for the first time last week.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: I was doing a mentor and for a songwriting workshop
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: thing down there. It was amazing. But I gotta give
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: a big shout out to my guy Raymundo stepping in
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: last week with the content um when when I say
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: something and Bobby's like, that's dumb, I'm just like, yeah,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: you're probably right, but not Raymundo. Raymundo, he comes in
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: and he says, you're probably gonna die a helicopter crash.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: And Bobby's like, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: And Ray doubles down. He's like the science of helicopter flight.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: It just makes it up as he goes. It's it
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: was pretty amazing. I enjoyed that. Thanks Ray, it was amazing.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: I love a good Raymundo and he definitely makes it
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: up as he goes. He does. We are done. We'll
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: see you guys next week. Go have more smiles and
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: frowns and thanks for listening. Follow us at twenty five whistles, Adam, Yeah,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: blew us out there. He is came over see you guys.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: Next week, Guess y'all,
