Speaker 1: Welcome. It is Verdict with Sentater Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson
0:03
Speaker 1: with you, and if you're listening on the radio, it
0:05
Speaker 1: is so nice to have you with us wherever you
0:07
Speaker 1: are around the country. Senator, We've got a lot to
0:10
Speaker 1: talk about on this week's show, including some shocking news
0:13
Speaker 1: involves FBI raids. On top of the fact that the
0:16
Speaker 1: DOJ has launched a federal probe into America's worst Soros
0:21
Speaker 1: DA over preferential treatment for legal immigrants plural.
0:27
Speaker 2: Well, we have corruption in Virginia Soros das. We have
0:31
Speaker 2: the head of the Virginia Senate being rated by the
0:34
Speaker 2: FBI for corruption. We also have extraordinarily enough, a Democratic
0:41
Speaker 2: member of the House trying to smuggle fuel into Communist
0:46
Speaker 2: Cuba because she supports the communist over the United States
0:49
Speaker 2: of America. We're also going to discuss I had a
0:51
Speaker 2: chance to visit Neuralink, an incredible company in Texas that
0:56
Speaker 2: is literally doing science fiction. But before all of that, Ben,
1:01
Speaker 2: I want to take a moment to say thank you
1:04
Speaker 2: to our incredible listeners and viewers, everyone on the radio,
1:07
Speaker 2: everyone on the podcast, everyone watching on YouTube. Look, we
1:11
Speaker 2: do this show three days a week and it's a
1:14
Speaker 2: lot of hours. It's right now eleven forty eight pm.
1:16
Speaker 2: We do it late at night, and there are times
1:20
Speaker 2: when I'm tired, and there are times when Ben is
1:25
Speaker 2: frankly dysfunctional and hiccupping like a sick leper on the road.
1:35
Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes, So for people that miss let's just
1:38
Speaker 1: be clear about where you're going with this. So I
1:41
Speaker 1: have got a back injury. They gave me some medicine.
1:44
Speaker 1: It gave me my hiccups is one of the side effects.
1:47
Speaker 1: And in the last show, I got the hiccups. It
1:50
Speaker 1: just could not get rid of them all day. By
1:51
Speaker 1: the way, I didn't go to bed to But.
1:52
Speaker 2: By the way, for an audio podcast, for an audio
1:55
Speaker 2: podcast or a radio show, having the host go like
2:01
Speaker 2: every twelve seconds, yeah, I'm just saying for an ordinary listener,
2:06
Speaker 2: that would be annoying. But I want to take the
2:08
Speaker 2: moment to sank our listeners because they endured it. And
2:13
Speaker 2: and Ben, can you read like like like some of
2:15
Speaker 2: the comments the listeners made because they embraced you, they
2:19
Speaker 2: loved you.
2:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, my phone stopped working. There was lots of thoughts
2:24
Speaker 1: and prayers and there was some Dearest Ben, you gave
2:27
Speaker 1: me the best slow creeping smile I've ever had I've
2:31
Speaker 1: had in a while. That was one of them, said,
2:33
Speaker 1: I did have a little Brandy. You were so committed
2:35
Speaker 1: that see, there you go. I am committed to the show, Senator,
2:38
Speaker 1: even with the hiccups, I power through to fight the
2:41
Speaker 1: comedies every day. So the other I will say the
2:44
Speaker 1: number of sides.
2:45
Speaker 2: So like to be clear, man, I was impressive. I
2:48
Speaker 2: for one, I'm not sure it was about a back injury.
2:51
Speaker 2: I just think you were hammered and hicketping because you
2:54
Speaker 2: had like ninety two beers that night.
2:57
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's it.
2:59
Speaker 2: I have no basis in fact, I just figured i'd
3:02
Speaker 2: say that because it's fun.
3:03
Speaker 1: Yeah, because it's fun. I do appreciate all the Verdict
3:07
Speaker 1: listeners who sent in and made sure that I had
3:10
Speaker 1: every possible hiccup remedy in the history of mankind. So
3:14
Speaker 1: they were they're committed listeners that gave.
3:18
Speaker 2: Last time, I told told Ben my father's rule. Yeah,
3:23
Speaker 2: which is in eighty seven years in life, he has
3:25
Speaker 2: never hiccup twice. And I got to say, I love
3:29
Speaker 2: my dad, but he's not a terribly shall we say,
3:33
Speaker 2: understanding soul. There you go, and he really does. I've
3:37
Speaker 2: hiccuped twice, and and and and he really does view
3:40
Speaker 2: it as a fundamental moral failing. Not saying anything, Ben,
3:42
Speaker 2: I'm just saying that's my dad's world view.
3:45
Speaker 1: I did, true story. I did go to bed after
3:47
Speaker 1: four am because I could not get them to stop.
3:49
Speaker 1: It was that long.
3:50
Speaker 2: Are you look at that? That sucks? I'm sorry man,
3:52
Speaker 2: that it was.
3:54
Speaker 1: It was. It was four hours straight before the show.
3:56
Speaker 1: Then they went away, then they started halfway through the show,
3:59
Speaker 1: and then literally I could not go to bed until
4:01
Speaker 1: about four fifteen.
4:02
Speaker 2: Okay, that's a nightmare, all right. Let me talk about
4:04
Speaker 2: something worse. Let's talk about commie prosecutors in Virginia. I
4:09
Speaker 2: want to read you a press release from the Department
4:12
Speaker 2: of Justice.
4:12
Speaker 1: Hold on, before we get to that, I got to
4:14
Speaker 1: ask you a question. Can you buy real bitcoin in
4:17
Speaker 1: your retirement account? Well, if not, it's time to upgrade
4:21
Speaker 1: to bitcoin IRA. It's twenty twenty six and cryptocurrency is
4:25
Speaker 1: where so many investors are going and diversifying. And you
4:29
Speaker 1: can buy and sell bitcoin inside a tax advantage IRA
4:34
Speaker 1: with bitcoin IRA, and that gives you more ways to
4:37

4:41
Speaker 1: one priority, and your assets are protected by military grade
4:45
Speaker 1: multi key security and you're covered up to two hundred
4:48
Speaker 1: and fifty million in digital asset insurance as well. So
4:53
Speaker 1: what are you waiting for? Get in the bitcoin game
4:56
Speaker 1: today and call and talk to a real person six
5:00

5:05

Speaker 1: open a free account and earn up to one thousand
5:26
Speaker 1: dollars bonus. Now, all right, now back to your press
5:29
Speaker 1: conference and the and the and the and everything that
5:31
Speaker 1: we've got in detail on this story.
5:34
Speaker 2: Press release for the Department of Justice. Justice Department notifies
5:37
Speaker 2: Fairfax County, Virginia Commonwealth Attorney of investigation into his plea
5:42
Speaker 2: bargaining charging decisions and sentencing policy. Today, the Justice Department
5:48
Speaker 2: notified the Fairfax County, Virginia Commonwealth's Attorney, Steve Descano, of
5:53
Speaker 2: the initiation of a federal investigation of the commonwealth attorneys
5:57
Speaker 2: flea bargaining charging decisions and sentencing policy. The Justice Department
6:01
Speaker 2: Civil Rights Division will investigate whether the Office of the
6:06
Speaker 2: Fairfax Commonwealth's Attorney discriminated against United States citizens by offering
6:13
Speaker 2: preferential treatment only to illegal alien criminal defendants. Now, stop
6:23
Speaker 2: for a second. How is this possible? What kind of
6:27
Speaker 2: prosecutor that says, given every criminal defendant in front of us,
6:32
Speaker 2: let's discriminate against US citizens and let's favor illegal aliens. Well,
6:38
Speaker 2: that is, in fact what is happening in Northern Virginia.
6:43
Speaker 1: It's not only happening, but I think when you look
6:46
Speaker 1: at the reach, what you realize is George Soros understood
6:51
Speaker 1: that he was going to be able to buy access
6:54
Speaker 1: to power. He was going to be able to then
6:57
Speaker 1: use those individuals however he wanted to, because he's the
7:00
Speaker 1: one that got them elected, and that meant going easy
7:04
Speaker 1: on the people that he said, regardless of what the
7:07
Speaker 1: law says, are the actual criminal illegal immigrants, including if
7:12
Speaker 1: they are committing HAINUS crimes. If he says you let
7:15
Speaker 1: him go, you look the other way. I'm the one
7:18
Speaker 1: that got you elected. Apparently that's exactly what happened in
7:21
Speaker 1: this scenario.
7:23
Speaker 2: Well, let me go through the facts and There's an
7:25
Speaker 2: article written by Tim Carning entitled Tim Steve Descano America's
7:32
Speaker 2: worst prosecutor. Here's what it says. Murderers, rapists, perverts, and pimps.
7:39
Speaker 2: These are the folks served by Fairfax County Prosecutor Steve Descano,
7:43
Speaker 2: The George Soros funded commonwealth attorney for the su Bourbon
7:47
Speaker 2: county of one million, has openly stated he won't enforce
7:51
Speaker 2: the law when it clashes with his ideology. The results
7:55
Speaker 2: have been ugly. Richard Cox was already a serial sex
7:59
Speaker 2: offender when he exposed himself in a women's locker room
8:02
Speaker 2: in Fairfax, but Discano let him go, and he proceeded
8:06
Speaker 2: to expose himself in a high school girl's locker room.
8:10
Speaker 2: Abdul Jalla was arrested more than thirty times, including for
8:15
Speaker 2: malicious wounding, but was repeatedly set free. He is now
8:21
Speaker 2: accused of stabbing Stephanie Mintner to death. On February twenty third,
8:26
Speaker 2: Gret Glire was executed in his bed in a calculated assassination.
8:34
Speaker 2: Descano last month let the killer go with an insanity
8:39
Speaker 2: plea and a Chinese pimp ran a brothel in a
8:43
Speaker 2: residential neighborhood across the street from a school bus stop.
8:48
Speaker 2: While police did everything they could to shut it down,
8:51
Speaker 2: Discano's office dropped the prostitution charges and let the place
8:55
Speaker 2: continue operating until the Republican Attorney General got it shuddered.
9:00
Speaker 2: These are just a few of the stories that illustrate
9:02
Speaker 2: Discano's extreme tolerance of criminals and harmed constituents. Discano is
9:08
Speaker 2: in office because of left wing billionaire George Soros. Discano
9:12
Speaker 2: was first elected as Fairfax County's Commonwealth Attorney in twenty nineteen,
9:16
Speaker 2: when he knocked off the incumbent Raymond Morrow in the
9:19
Speaker 2: Democrat primary, winning by fifteen hundred votes in a low
9:24
Speaker 2: turnout election. Discano raised about one million dollars one million
9:31
Speaker 2: dollars between the primary and the general election, a shocking
9:34
Speaker 2: amount for a down ballot county race. About two thirds
9:38
Speaker 2: of his cash came from two Soros funded organizations, the
9:42
Speaker 2: Justice and Public Safety Pack and the New Virginia Majority Pack.
9:46
Speaker 2: This is a pattern, It's a pattern over and over again,
9:51
Speaker 2: George Soros and the radical leftist the Mark Fisks. Then
9:55
Speaker 2: they've discovered a vulnerability in our democracy, in our constitutional republic,
9:59
Speaker 2: which is they can can elect what are now called
10:01
Speaker 2: Soros das, and these are das that make the decision
10:06
Speaker 2: we're going to release murderers, we're going to release rapists,
10:10
Speaker 2: We're going to lease violent criminals. You know, you think
10:13
Speaker 2: about it. Virtually every Democrat in the Senate has voted
10:16
Speaker 2: repeatedly in favor of abolishing the police. That is a
10:19
Speaker 2: radical and nutty idea. Five years ago, if you asked
10:24
Speaker 2: any person or your favor of abolishing the police, people
10:26
Speaker 2: would say no, no, that's crazy. Well, today's Democrat party
10:30
Speaker 2: that is now mainstream. There are two ways you abolish
10:34
Speaker 2: the police. One, you cut off the funding and shut
10:36
Speaker 2: down the police. And we've seen Democrat cities do that
10:39
Speaker 2: from New York City to Minneapolis to sadly Austin, Texas
10:44
Speaker 2: and our home state of Texas. But the second way
10:47
Speaker 2: you abolish the police is you elect a Soorros DA.
10:51
Speaker 2: You flood millions of dollars from George Soros, you elect
10:54
Speaker 2: a DA. And by the way, the police cannot enforce
10:56
Speaker 2: the law. If the DA will not prosecute, doesn't do
10:59
Speaker 2: any good for the police to arrest someone. If the
11:02
Speaker 2: DA says, you know what, we're going to let these
11:04
Speaker 2: violent criminals go, and so now you've got the Department
11:07
Speaker 2: of Justice going after this elected Soros DA for giving
11:12
Speaker 2: sweetheart deals to illegal immigrants and favoring illegal immigrants over
11:18
Speaker 2: US citizens. It is shocking, And the most shocking thing
11:22
Speaker 2: is it's not shocking that is. Look, I think George
11:27
Speaker 2: Soros and his team of cronies have discovered a vulnerability
11:31
Speaker 2: in our democrat society and and and we need to
11:35
Speaker 2: fight back against this.
11:37
Speaker 1: How do you fight back against this? I mean, when
11:39
Speaker 1: you when you see the deals that are being made,
11:42
Speaker 1: I think every American should be outraged over this. Illegal
11:45
Speaker 1: immigrants should not be able to walk away from the
11:49
Speaker 1: laws that they're breaking, but American systems be held accountable
11:52
Speaker 1: for breaking those same laws. But if you, as you mentioned,
11:56
Speaker 1: if you have a DA that decides to do this us,
12:00
Speaker 1: what are our options after that? And when you look
12:04
Speaker 1: into this investigation, I gotta say, this can't be just
12:08
Speaker 1: happening in one place. It's probably happening by activist das
12:12
Speaker 1: all over the country. If this is the kickback that
12:14
Speaker 1: in essence Soros was guaranteeing himself.
12:17
Speaker 2: Yeah, the way you do it, as you do what
12:18
Speaker 2: we're doing right now, you shine a light on it.
12:21
Speaker 2: You go to feed him in elections, you go run
12:23
Speaker 2: candidates against him, You go run and say, let me
12:25
Speaker 2: say a radical idea, violent criminals should be in jail.
12:29
Speaker 2: Let me give you some facts about Fairfax County DA
12:32
Speaker 2: Steve Descano. He reduced rape, which is normally punishable by
12:37
Speaker 2: up to life in prison, to misdemeanor assault, ninety days
12:42
Speaker 2: suspended sentence, no jail.
12:44
Speaker 1: Wow.
12:45
Speaker 2: He dropped gun possession by illegal alien to brandishing. The
12:51
Speaker 2: result of it is he is released over and over
12:55
Speaker 2: again violent criminals and violent criminal ieal aliens. But I'll
13:01
Speaker 2: tell you Virginia's having a tough week because not only
13:06
Speaker 2: do they have a radical DA who the Department of
13:09
Speaker 2: Justice is now investigating, but the head of the top
13:14
Speaker 2: Democrat in the state legislature, this extremely left wing democrat,
13:20
Speaker 2: Virginia Senate President pro Tempore Louise Lucas, has now had
13:26
Speaker 2: her offices raided by the FBI. Raided by the FBI
13:31
Speaker 2: for corruption. The FBI is executed court authorized federal search
13:35
Speaker 2: war in Portsmouth, Virginia, an FBI spokesperson told The Washington Examiner,
13:40
Speaker 2: adding there's no threat to public safety. This is an
13:43
Speaker 2: ongoing investigation. Now, what is the investigation. By the way,
13:47
Speaker 2: this particular left wing democrat, she was the leading author
13:53
Speaker 2: of Virginia's Democrat Gerrymander that took their six' Five democrat
13:59
Speaker 2: majority the congressional delegation and drove it to ten to.
14:02
Speaker 2: One and by the, way this particular democrat was particularly
14:07
Speaker 2: mad at. Me so WHEN i pointed out that this
14:10
Speaker 2: was a corruption of democracy to take a state where
14:14
Speaker 2: nearly half of the citizens voted For Donald trump and
14:18
Speaker 2: to jerry mander it so that ten seats would Be
14:21
Speaker 2: democrat one would Be, republican she, responded blasting. Me she,
14:25
Speaker 2: said you all started, it blasting, me we effing finished. It,
14:32
Speaker 2: WELL i got to, say right, now she's being prosecuted for,
14:35
Speaker 2: corruption prosecuted for corruption in particular favoring marijuana distribution. Locations
14:45
Speaker 2: it's an investigation examining possible corruption and bribery related to
14:50
Speaker 2: marijuana dispensary. Businesses and this is a, bad bad week
14:56
Speaker 2: for left wing Radical democrats In.
14:58
Speaker 1: Virginia all, Right, senator this is a very interesting and
15:03
Speaker 1: just weird. Story you have a Liberal democratic Congresswoman Jack,
15:07
Speaker 1: howell who is Defies President trump to literally go work
15:12
Speaker 1: with a foreign, Country, cuba to try to get them.
15:16
Speaker 1: Oil And i'm pretty sure that If i'm looking at
15:20
Speaker 1: this the right, way this could be against the. Law
15:22
Speaker 1: what she's now trying to do is again advocate For.
15:25
Speaker 2: Cuba right, Now, Well, ben let me make a statement
15:29
Speaker 2: THAT i don't want to be, true AND i want
15:31
Speaker 2: to make the, statement and then we're going to assess
15:33
Speaker 2: the facts to determine if it's. True here's the. Statement
15:38
Speaker 2: too many Elected democrats In congress Hate america and actively
15:46
Speaker 2: aggressively and enthusiastically support the communist enemies Of. America, now
15:53
Speaker 2: AS i say, that listen to someone who loves our.
15:55
Speaker 2: COUNTRY i hate saying those. WORDS i don't want them
15:58
Speaker 2: to be. TRUE i want you to listen to the
16:01
Speaker 2: words Of Permeila, jayapol who is a left, wing progressive
16:07
Speaker 2: communist member of The Democrat party From. Washington listened to
16:12
Speaker 2: what she had to say about what she's been Doing.
16:14
Speaker 3: Landing In, January trump issued an executive order threatening tariffs
16:21
Speaker 3: on any country's supply of fuel To. Cuba this was This,
16:24
Speaker 3: january just a few months, ago and oil shipments From,
16:28
Speaker 3: venezuela that's Where cuba had been getting it's, oiled were
16:32
Speaker 3: halted after THE us operations to Kidnap Nicholas. Baduro Since,
16:37
Speaker 3: january only One russian tanker of oil has made it To.
16:43
Speaker 3: Cuba in, fact it landed just a couple of days
16:46
Speaker 3: BEFORE i. Landed and one tanker has enough oil basically
16:52
Speaker 3: for ten to fourteen days Of cuba's oil, needs so
16:57
Speaker 3: it's a very limited amount of. Time Now russia said
17:00
Speaker 3: they're going to send another. TANKER i was in conversations
17:04
Speaker 3: with the ambassadors From mexico and some other, places AND
17:07
Speaker 3: i know other countries In Latin america trying to figure
17:10
Speaker 3: out how to get oiled their. Body it is a
17:14
Speaker 3: crisis beyond. Imagination just this Past, friday On may, First
17:19
Speaker 3: trump signed a broad executive order that widens sanctions and
17:23
Speaker 3: allows for new penalties similar to what we have For
17:27
Speaker 3: iran And, russia against foreign base and firms that are
17:31
Speaker 3: dealing With. Cuba and it also reinforces the ban ON us.
17:36
Speaker 3: TOURISM i have called these sanctions an economic bombing of
17:43
Speaker 3: the infrastructure Of. Cuba it is, illegal it is against
17:46
Speaker 3: the war. Being you're talking about this In. Iran, obviously
17:48
Speaker 3: to bomb the infrastructure of any country that is against international.
17:53
Speaker 3: Law this is essentially doing the same. Thing it is
17:57
Speaker 3: bombing the infrastructure Of cuba with economic sanctions that essentially
18:04
Speaker 3: ensure that the infrastructure.
18:06
Speaker 1: Collapses there's something interesting that she said. There she kept
18:11
Speaker 1: saying the Kidnap maduro like it was a crime. Center i'm,
18:16
Speaker 1: like WHICH i mean? This like whose side is she?
18:19
Speaker 1: On is it on the side Of maduro And? Cuba
18:23
Speaker 1: because the way she said it, there she was saying
18:25
Speaker 1: like it was a crime What america was.
18:27
Speaker 2: Doing so, listen there used to be a rule that
18:31
Speaker 2: politics ends at our water's. EDGE i like that. RULE
18:36
Speaker 2: i liked a time where we, said, Gosh democrats And
18:39
Speaker 2: republicans will, disagree will disagree on how high the top
18:42
Speaker 2: marginal tax rate should, be will disagree on some policy.
18:45
Speaker 2: Questions but when it comes to Defending, america when it
18:48
Speaker 2: comes to standing With american servicemen and, women when it
18:51
Speaker 2: comes to standing up against her, Enemies we're going to stand. United,
18:55
Speaker 2: sadly that is not this World Representative, jayapaul Who i've never.
18:59
Speaker 2: Met she's a, very very left. Wing she is part
19:02
Speaker 2: of the. Squad she is part OF aoc and Ilhan
19:05
Speaker 2: omar and these extremely left Wing house. Members look when
19:11
Speaker 2: she says the kidnapping Of Nicholas. MADUURA i Understand Niolas
19:15
Speaker 2: mudua was indicted for being a massive narco. Trafficker OUR
19:20
Speaker 2: fbi came down executed a legitimate arrest. Warrant The Delta
19:25
Speaker 2: force accompanied them to carry out that arrest. Warrant she
19:29
Speaker 2: describes it as the. Kidnapping that is language that is
19:32
Speaker 2: identical to what every enemy Of america would. Say the
19:36
Speaker 2: LAST i checked executing a legitimate arrest. Warrant Nicholas maduro number,
19:41
Speaker 2: one he's a tyrant who's responsible for massive oppression of his,
19:46
Speaker 2: people for, murder for, Torture for he has Destroyed, venezuela
19:50
Speaker 2: just Like Hua chavis. Has but you know, what that's
19:53
Speaker 2: not what he was indicted. For that's not what he
19:55
Speaker 2: was arrested. For he is a huge narco trafficker and
19:59
Speaker 2: he has killed thousands Of americans through the drugs he
20:02
Speaker 2: flooded into this. Country and her view Is Nicholas maduro
20:06
Speaker 2: is the. Victim it is the Evil american government that
20:10
Speaker 2: dared arrest this narco. Trafficker so On, cuba understand she is.
20:15
Speaker 2: Unambiguous she stands with The cuban communist. Government AND i
20:19
Speaker 2: will say this my family was imprisoned and tortured By cuban.
20:24
Speaker 2: COMMUNISTS i don't take this as. CUTE i don't take
20:27
Speaker 2: this as. FUN i get that she's From Washington. STATE
20:29
Speaker 2: i guess there are a bunch of leftists who snapped
20:31
Speaker 2: their fingers at. Yes, yes, yes communism is wonderful because
20:35
Speaker 2: they're soft and weak and they Hate American BUT i
20:40
Speaker 2: gotta say the idea that they are actively trying to
20:44
Speaker 2: smuggle fuel Into cuba because their objective is they want
20:50
Speaker 2: the communist regime In cuba to stand to, EXIST i find. Infuriating, Look,
20:57
Speaker 2: ben did you ever have a chance to meet MY? I,
21:02
Speaker 2: YES i actually did once at an election. Event, okay
21:06
Speaker 2: my Theo sonia my. Aunt she's my father's kid's. SISTER
21:10
Speaker 2: i adored. Her she was an, amazing spectacular. Person she
21:14
Speaker 2: passed away earlier this. Year. Yeah my, nickname What i've
21:18
Speaker 2: called her my whole, life is My, theoloka which Is
21:20
Speaker 2: spanish for crazy. Ant she was a. Fireball she died
21:24
Speaker 2: at eighty. Two she lived a wonderful, life a life
21:27
Speaker 2: THAT i. Celebrate she was In cuba after the. Revolution
21:31
Speaker 2: she fought in The Cuban. Revolution she was tortured In
21:35
Speaker 2: cuban prisons when she was. Dying she lived In. Dallas
21:40
Speaker 2: she was fading away earlier this, year and she was
21:43
Speaker 2: on her. Deathbed we all knew she was. Going AND
21:45
Speaker 2: i told. Her it was right After badua had been.
21:47
Speaker 2: Arrested AND i told, HER i, Said, diah we just Arrested.
21:52
Speaker 2: Madua cuba's Next cuba is going to. Fall AND i
21:58
Speaker 2: got to say the look of way in her. Face
22:01
Speaker 2: and and there are millions of people In, america millions
22:06
Speaker 2: Of Cubans, americans millions Of Venezuelan, americans millions Of Chinese
22:11
Speaker 2: americans And Korean, americans and everyone who has been a
22:15
Speaker 2: victim of communism who has, understood, listen, BEN i believe
22:19
Speaker 2: communism is the most evil ideology that the world has ever.
22:24
Speaker 2: Produced there's been no ideology In american history and world
22:27
Speaker 2: history that has resulted in more, murder more, torture more,
22:33
Speaker 2: slavery more, oppression more, poverty and more misery than than Than.
22:40
Speaker 2: China and to listen to an elected member Of, congress
22:46
Speaker 2: a leader of The Democrat party saying she desperately wants
22:51
Speaker 2: to smuggle fuel in because her objective is to save
22:55
Speaker 2: the communist government In. CUBA i gotta say it will
22:59
Speaker 2: be an amazing. THING i don't know what's going to
23:01
Speaker 2: happen In, cuba but we have a greater opportunity right
23:05
Speaker 2: now than at any point in my lifetime to see
23:06
Speaker 2: the communist regime. Fall and then here's WHAT i want
23:10
Speaker 2: to see. HAPPEN i want to see this communist regime.
23:13
Speaker 2: FALL i want to see a new government In cuba
23:17
Speaker 2: that is democratically, elected that is, legitimate that that is
23:21
Speaker 2: just two, things that embraces free, markets and that wants
23:25
Speaker 2: to be friends With. America and let me tell you
23:28
Speaker 2: what that will look like if that. Happens Number, ONE
23:31
Speaker 2: i would love to See cuba be this, oasis a free,
23:36
Speaker 2: enterprise much like A singapore or A Hong kong Before
23:39
Speaker 2: china took it. OVER i think it could be. Extraordinary
23:42
Speaker 2: but number, Two cuba has a massive. Advantage there are
23:47
Speaker 2: millions Of cuban, Expats cubans who Fled, cuba came To
23:51
Speaker 2: america seeking, freedom who If cuba had a free market
23:56
Speaker 2: government that was friends With, america would eagerly invest In.
24:02
Speaker 2: Cuba there would be billions of, dollars tens of billions
24:05
Speaker 2: of dollars that would be invested In, cuba you would
24:07
Speaker 2: see a mass of. Capital cuba is stuck in the dark.
24:12
Speaker 2: Ages it's like going To cuba And i've never. BEEN
24:14
Speaker 2: i will go To cuba when we have a Free.
24:15
Speaker 2: CUBA i do not wish to go To cube under.
24:17
Speaker 2: Communism But, cuba the cars they. Drive do you know
24:21
Speaker 2: the cars they drive are from the nineteen. Fifties it's
24:24
Speaker 2: like the Movie The land That Time. Forgot when the revolution,
24:28
Speaker 2: happened the cars, stopped the, innovation stop the, food stop the,
24:33
Speaker 2: misery stop the, poverty everything frozen. Time And i'll tell
24:38
Speaker 2: You cuba has some of the most beautiful beaches in
24:40
Speaker 2: the face of the. Planet if we have a free
24:43
Speaker 2: market government that's friends With, america we will see this tourist.
24:48
Speaker 2: Oasis billions of dollars flooding Into. Cuba and it's just
24:52
Speaker 2: ninety miles off the coast Of. America and what befuddles.
24:57
Speaker 2: MAN i want to ask you This ben take him in.
25:00
Speaker 2: It get in the mind of a leftist Congress Wan
25:04
Speaker 2: premier J Pal why would you root For cuban communists
25:08
Speaker 2: Over america sor? Right.
25:10
Speaker 1: SENATRA i want to get into you got to take
25:12
Speaker 1: a tour of, neuralink and for people that don't know
25:17
Speaker 1: what neuralink, Is number, one explain it to, us what
25:21
Speaker 1: the technology is and where this could be taking.
25:23
Speaker 2: Us, well let me say our first three stories on
25:27
Speaker 2: today's pod had been a little. Depressing number. One a
25:31
Speaker 2: Radical George SOROS da In virginia Favoring elliel immigrants Over american,
25:36
Speaker 2: citizens releasing, murderers, rapists violent. Criminals that's. Disturbing number. Two
25:43
Speaker 2: the Lead democrat The Virginia senate for offices rated by
25:48
Speaker 2: THE fbi for, corruption for corruption CONCERNING fbi or concerning marijuana,
25:53
Speaker 2: dispensaries that's. Disturbing Number. Three A democrat member of The
25:58
Speaker 2: house opens supporting Communist, cuba trying to do everything she
26:02
Speaker 2: can to smuggle fuel Into cuba so the communist regime
26:06
Speaker 2: continues oppressing the. People that's disturbing this last. SEGMENT i
26:11
Speaker 2: don't want you guys to be. DOWN i want to
26:13
Speaker 2: give you a moment of. OPTIMISM i want to give
26:15
Speaker 2: you a moment of. Hope today In, Austin, TEXAS i
26:19
Speaker 2: toured the facilities Of. Neuralink neuralink is a company started
26:23
Speaker 2: By Elon. Musk elon is a good friend of. MINE
26:26
Speaker 2: i Know elon very. WELL i got to, say neuralink
26:30
Speaker 2: feels like it's not. Real it feels like it's something
26:33
Speaker 2: out of science. FICTION i toured their. Facilities their facilities are.
26:37
Speaker 2: Amazing here's what they're. Doing they're creating technology that can
26:42
Speaker 2: implant in the human brain to help people who have
26:46
Speaker 2: lost basic, abilities who have lost, mobility who have lost,
26:50
Speaker 2: speech who've lost, sight to turn that around and give
26:55
Speaker 2: them a life. Again, so for, example what they. Do
26:59
Speaker 2: they have a unit and then it's a unit about
27:01
Speaker 2: the size of the, quarter so it's a little round.
27:03
Speaker 2: Disc most of it is a. Battery and what they
27:06
Speaker 2: will do is they will drill a hole in someone's
27:09
Speaker 2: skull out the size of the. Quarter they will implant the,
27:12
Speaker 2: unit and there are one hundred and twenty eight little,
27:15
Speaker 2: filaments little. Strands they are incredibly. Thin they're thinner than
27:20
Speaker 2: a strand of. Hair they have a robot surgeon that
27:25
Speaker 2: will place each of these one hundred and twenty eight
27:27
Speaker 2: strands into different places in the brain where the sort
27:32
Speaker 2: of round quarter sized piece is being embedded inside the.
27:38
Speaker 2: Skull what this will, do so let's take someone with,
27:42
Speaker 2: als an incredibly debilitating disease that incapacitates, people makes them
27:49
Speaker 2: unable to, move unable to communicate what they're able to.
27:53
Speaker 2: Do or let's take someone that has a spinal cord
27:55
Speaker 2: entry that had a horrible, accident broke their spinal, cord
27:59
Speaker 2: and so they're apparently. Quadriplegic they can't, walk they can't
28:02
Speaker 2: move their. Arms neuralink is embedding these units in people's
28:09
Speaker 2: skulls that enable people who are paralyzed to move. Again
28:15
Speaker 2: they have all sorts of different. Mechanisms, so for, example
28:18
Speaker 2: they have one mechanism they're experimenting, with which is robot.
28:21
Speaker 2: Arms robot. Arms so someone Imagine god forbid and look.
28:25
Speaker 2: Better you AND i are, blessed and most of the
28:28
Speaker 2: folks listening are. Blessed we have our physical. Health imagine
28:32
Speaker 2: the nightmare of being a, quadriplegic of being unable to.
28:34
Speaker 2: Move what neuralink lets you do is you can think
28:40
Speaker 2: and just your thoughts can move robot, arms so you
28:44
Speaker 2: can pick things, up you can feed, yourself you can manipulate,
28:48
Speaker 2: things you can have the ability to. Move not only
28:50
Speaker 2: that for people with als or other debilitating. Diseases let's
28:54
Speaker 2: say you're unable to speak neuralink right, now is able
28:58
Speaker 2: to implant the the threads in your brain and you're
29:02
Speaker 2: able to, think and the computer will speak for. You
29:07
Speaker 2: AND i watched that they've been planeted, it they've been.
29:10
Speaker 2: Planted they've done a lot of animal expert, experimentation mostly
29:13
Speaker 2: on sheep with great. Success they've been planted it in
29:16
Speaker 2: twenty five human. Beings and you have people who are
29:18
Speaker 2: unable to speak that they think and a computer will,
29:21
Speaker 2: SAY i am speaking to you right. Now this is me.
29:26
Speaker 2: Thinking can you? Imagine look the madness of feeling imprisoned
29:31
Speaker 2: in a cage in your brain where your brain is.
29:35
Speaker 2: Functional you're, smart you're, aware you're able to, think but
29:40
Speaker 2: your body has shut. Down you cannot. Communicate neuralink lets
29:44
Speaker 2: someone communicate by the. Way it also lets THEM i
29:48
Speaker 2: saw amazing. Videos it lets them, control for, example a
29:53
Speaker 2: computer cursor online so you can draw art just. Thinking
29:58
Speaker 2: you can control the art and express. YOURSELF i saw
30:01
Speaker 2: one woman who was paralyzed just weeping that she was
30:05
Speaker 2: able to have artistic. Expression another component of it that is, amazing,
30:11
Speaker 2: then is people who are. Blind people either born blind
30:17
Speaker 2: or say they've had an injury that damaged their eyes
30:21
Speaker 2: or their optic. Nerves so they can't. See neuralink is
30:26
Speaker 2: working on the technology so that you can have a
30:28
Speaker 2: camera see what's in front of, you and they broadcast
30:32
Speaker 2: that image to your brain so you're able to. See
30:37
Speaker 2: so this is technology that lets people who are paralyzed
30:42
Speaker 2: cripple move and walk and have their arms and have
30:46
Speaker 2: the ability to engage in the, world that lets people
30:50
Speaker 2: who are blind, see and lets people who cannot speak.
30:55
Speaker 2: Speak it is truly it's a combination of magic and
31:00
Speaker 2: science fiction and all of that is happening in our
31:03
Speaker 2: great state Of. Texas it is unbelievable.
31:06
Speaker 1: INNOVATION i can't, imagine by the, way how many people
31:09
Speaker 1: could be affected by this in a positive.
31:11
Speaker 2: Way. MILLIONS i was gonna, Say i'm.
31:14
Speaker 1: Assuming they gave you a briefing on. That so it
31:16
Speaker 1: is in the.
31:16
Speaker 2: Millions so they have tens of thousands of people who
31:21
Speaker 2: have signed up for their waiting. List so look the,
31:24
Speaker 2: process and they talk to me about this they're, doing
31:27
Speaker 2: like watching their. Factory they're designing these. Neuralinks they have.
31:31
Speaker 2: These SO i met with their, team their. Neurosurgeons so
31:35
Speaker 2: when they go in for someone for a human that's
31:37
Speaker 2: going in for the, operation the neurosurgeon will will cut
31:41
Speaker 2: someone's the skin away from their, scalp will carve a
31:46
Speaker 2: little hole in their skull about the size of the.
31:49
Speaker 2: Quarter and by the, way where they locate it depends
31:52
Speaker 2: on what they're trying to. Do so it's one place
31:55
Speaker 2: in the skull if they're trying to do mobility because
31:58
Speaker 2: you're unable to, move it's a different place in the.
31:59
Speaker 2: Skull if they're trying to do, site it's a different
32:02
Speaker 2: place in the skull if they're trying to do, speech
32:03
Speaker 2: because they're different parts of the, brain the brain that
32:06
Speaker 2: does all. That but the neurosurgeon will cut it. Open
32:09
Speaker 2: but then the way they attach one hundred and twenty
32:12
Speaker 2: eight tiny little, filaments it's really. Cool they built these
32:17
Speaker 2: robots that will just it's a needle that it's a
32:21
Speaker 2: tiny thin needle that will place each of these filaments
32:24
Speaker 2: in different spots so that the filaments are in a
32:27
Speaker 2: place to connect with the neurons and to fill the
32:31
Speaker 2: voids that we. Have AND i will say they expressed
32:35
Speaker 2: frustration that THE fda can be slow during the process
32:38
Speaker 2: of approving and one of the Dynamics china is rushing
32:41
Speaker 2: to develop this same technology And, china the approvals are almost,
32:46
Speaker 2: instantaneous and THE fda it is, very very. Slow i'm
32:50
Speaker 2: working to speed this up because like the ability to pure.
32:56
Speaker 2: Disease Imagine god, forbid you Were Christopher, read you Were.
33:01
Speaker 2: Superman incredibly Like verryle strong, person you get in an
33:06
Speaker 2: accident riding a, horse you break your neck and are,
33:09
Speaker 2: Paralyze imagine the transformational gift of being able to move.
33:14
Speaker 2: Again that's what this technology is. Doing And i'm so
33:17
Speaker 2: proud that it's happening in our great state Of. Texas it's.
33:20
