- 0:36[SPEAKER_01]: And I just happen to have all those players on my idiot league mate team.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: So a great time for week one.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_01]: a lot of things to panic about a lot of things to overreact about every single Monday throughout the season you guys know I will be live around this time ish depending on when I get done with my research and recap and all that kind of stuff live here going game by game breaking down everything that you need to know for fantasy football we are talking about injuries we are talking about big plays we are talking about snap counts routes run all the

- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: And when I come to you, I come correct.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I just I don't I don't want to put out Slop here everybody talking about AI Slop this AI Slop that a lot of human Slop out there A lot of shitty content out there, right with bad takes and and worst takeaways So I just I just hope that when you watch this video you come away saying you know what you know what on you know what on
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: veteran type shit out of your mouth.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_01]: So that's what we're doing today.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_01]: All right, game by game full fantasy recaps.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: We do every single Monday.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: We go and do this every single Monday throughout the remainder of this season.

- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: B-d-g-e fantasy football.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_01]: It can't be that hard.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: Just go into a fucking podcast thing and type in B-d-g. Yeah, you gotta be able to find it.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's literally cook.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_01]: Starting off with the very first game of the NFL season, also should be noted if you guys are in the chat.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_01]: If you're in the chat and you're chatting right now, I don't even put the chat up on the screen.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_01]: That's how fucking locked in I am.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: I got locked in there in these streams.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to provide value to you.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to talk through
- 2:42[SPEAKER_01]: the takeaways that I have for the games.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're in there asking questions, especially if you're in there dropping super chats, please don't bother because I won't get to them.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_01]: I won't reverse it, put it in reverse, throw that ass in a circle and get back to the super chats.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_01]: Not going to happen.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: So just hang out, tuck your shirts in, relax, get yourself some water, get yourself maybe an energy drink.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: We are rocking with the purple cotton candy alani.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_01]: One of these days, I'll maybe grow up in sub drink and fucking purple drinks that will destroy my insides, but it ain't going to be today.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: It ain't going to be today, but you're hanging on the live stream.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, make sure you hit the button that looks like this down below.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_01]: Let me know, let YouTube know that you enjoy these videos.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_01]: So Seattle takes down the Patriots in the Super Bowl matchup 13 to 10 borderline making my fucking eyes bleed similar to the Super Bowl.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_01]: We have some significant injury statuses to go over at the top of this game.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: Sam Donald hurts his booty cheek very early in the game.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: Drew Lock has to come in.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: So Sam Donald apparently has gotten opinions from four different doctors at this point.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_01]: We don't really have word on like a really concrete timeline yet.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: So originally when he got hurt, you know, there was a spectrum of outcomes where it could have been very, very serious and we could have lost him for the year.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: I say, wait, he's my quarterback too, and you're already a league mate.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, I need you to lock in.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_01]: I need you not to split your booty cheek.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: Five fucking plays into the season, bro.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_01]: I really need you, dog.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_01]: And I traded for JSN and that lead not the point.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_01]: Neither here nor here.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: So Sam Garnell, they are optimistic that this is not a long-term injury.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_01]: They said he's almost definitely going to miss week two, which sucks because to plan Arizona.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_01]: And then I believe they play Washington in week three after that.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think JS, uh, Donald coming back and we three is a possibility, um, wouldn't put it as a short thing.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_01]: I also like wouldn't take the IR off the table.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: It seems unlikely, but I'm just saying, you know, I don't think he's, he's out of the woods yet having gone around and seen all these like specialists and doctors right now.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_01]: So very much still a situation to monitor.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: If you're in a super
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: Drulock, he does have some good matchups coming up.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: Do I think he's going to be like a really good quarterback too filling for you?
- 5:05[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: You play well in this game.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, most of his fantasy stats were just padded by JS and going nuclear on that 45 yard touchdown catch.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_01]: Otherwise, very pedestrian day from Drulock.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: He's a service bull enough backup.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: Like Seattle can definitely win their next two games with him as quarterback.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: Fantasy wise though, he's a very much a low-end QB2 that I'm not like,
- 5:24[SPEAKER_01]: looking to spend a lot of fab on, uh, especially with Sam's Arnold, probably back in a couple of weeks.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: Um, the backfield situation was definitely the one that we were looking at.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: You have Zack Sharbinay on the IR.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: We have Jeterian Price, the rookie first rounder, George Halani, and then Emmanuel Wilson kind of as the third guy.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: As you could see, Jeterian Price 10 carries 52 yards, George Halani eight carries and, uh, 29 yards.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: Let me just check the, the,
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: chats and make sure that like my dumbass audio is working.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, all right, we're cool, fire.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so we have the back field and we'll go into, you know, the snap counts and everything like that.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: So Jerry and Price played on 50% of the snaps, George Clawney on 44% of the snaps.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_01]: He, um, you know, had the upper edge in rushing attempts, let's turn this into pure numbers here.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_01]: Jerry and Price ran 11 routes to George Clawney's seven manuals and just a clear after thought.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_01]: We just good because you never knew like this could have been a three man backfield for all we know.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_01]: But it turns out it's very clearly between Gdaren Price and George Alonni and the one like clear number that's six out here long down in distance, very obvious pass catching situations, it's George Alonni here nine to zero.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: So I think they had very clear roles, whereas like Gdaren Price, early down guy, they're both going to run a decent amount of routes when they're in the very obvious passing situation.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's Alonni, we didn't get any carries inside the five on the goal line, we didn't get any plays inside the two minute drill for the Seattle offense.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_01]: So we don't really know how that's going to shake out.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: I would imagine we'll see a split of goal line carries when these guys are on the field.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's probably most likely kind of like whoever was on the field for the previous play will likely stay in.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know that either of these guys profile is like, yeah, he's the dude we need on the goal.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'm both of them, neither of them are like bigger power backs that you think of.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: But overall SNAP's 24 or 21, I walked away.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_01]: Relatively optimistic about your daring price.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_01]: He looked very good, extremely explosive, like way better than George Laune.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: Every time he touched the ball, it kind of felt like he was going to spring off like a 10 or 15 yard run, and this was against a really, really good Patriots run defense.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: Milton Williams.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_01]: one of my absolute goats, Christian Barmore in the middle there, like really, really strong New England defense obviously.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that's like one of the takeaways, usually with these early games, the Wednesday night, the Thursday night games, like the first games of the year, a lot of times we could see it really, really sloppy.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_01]: Seattle didn't play any of their starters throughout the preseason either.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, these teams, a lot of the times, especially when they're implementing a brand new offense, new scheme, they do have a new offensive coordinator there
- 7:55[SPEAKER_01]: what they're doing here.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: So most of this game, I'm I'm like pretty willing to kind of just like wash off if you have any strong takes about it.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: Overall, jitterian price.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's definitely going to be flex worthy over the next couple of games because the matchups are really good.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, Arizona and before I start talking out of my ass, let me just make sure.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's Arizona and then Washington, so really good couple games here right now for Judarian price with Drew Lockhunter Center, you'd imagine they're probably going to lean on their defense.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to lean on their running backs.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_01]: So, Jeremy Price, I think, is a pretty good flex play.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_01]: George Lonnie's a guy that like, you know, I'll do my running back rankings videos, obviously later in the week, but
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: not to do that you want in your lineup.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_01]: Same thing with anyone behind JSN moving over to New England.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_01]: We have Drake, what people are calling the schedule may not me, but you're here and in around there.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the last five or so games that he's played including the playoffs have been against the toughest defenses in the NFL and he is struggling mightily.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_01]: This one
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: overly concerned about, you know, made some boneheaded plays overall, I think Seattle's defense is just that good that they're going to make most quarterbacks look like this.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: 178 attached down three interceptions though, not great.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_01]: 47 yards on the ground though.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: You did see that rushing ability and in better matchups like that's going to be games where he explodes for massive fantasy days.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: Trayvon Henderson sat out in this one.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: There was a report today that I believe you returned to practice, and that's obviously important for this backfield split here.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_01]: And without him, Reminder is even saying, kind of just like dominated touches.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_01]: Corey Kiner, I think he was like the six round or six fucking depth chart cardinals running back last year for some reason, getting hell of spin out there, everything at 1.8 yards for carry, shout out to him.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_01]: Great.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_01]: Great guy.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_01]: I suppose.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the personalities got to be the only thing get them on the field at this point, but Remondrous struggles again, unsurprisingly against this Seattle ferocious front 7.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, Remondra ends up with 23 touches 95 yards from Scrimmage.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: Five catches does not get into the end zone, but this team really only had one, you know, scoring play here.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: It was a play action pass to Eli
- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: the other obvious big takeaway here is the AJ Brown injury.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_01]: So he suffers a high ankle spring.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_01]: He gets put on IR, so we're going to see him out for a minimum before weeks.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's a chance that he ends up missing more time than that.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_01]: This is a relatively severe high ankle spring.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: And once you get back from the IR, there might be a little bit of a ramp up time here for a guy like AJ Brown.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_01]: So not great.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: And we want to talk about not great Romeo Dobbs, one of the worst Y receiver performances you're ever going to see.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_01]: Um, you know, they, they gave him $70 million off season to be at least a nice number two for AJ Brown.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_01]: And he didn't do that.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_01]: He dropped one of the easiest passes I've ever seen and only saw three targets in a game where tomorrow Douglas got seven remodder Stevenson saw six.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_01]: Matt Collins to me was the guy that kind of like popped out as like Drake may as go to.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_01]: Now with AJ Brown out, you know, I do think it's, it's likely going to be a target share.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's very spread around.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see like ceiling games that any of these guys can really have that are adjacent to what H.A.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_01]: Brown could put up.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: Um, it's going to be an offense.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_01]: I probably spread spreads a ball around a lot.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_01]: I should bring this schedule up.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_01]: I usually have my iPad with the, uh, with the schedule going forward.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_01]: The Patriots play the Steelers at the Jaguars at the Buffalo Bill.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: So not a great slate with H.A.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_01]: Brown on the men tier.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: Um, if I'm picking guys up off the waver wire, there's no one that I'm like super excited about.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_01]: Matt Collins would probably be my number one outside of Romeo Dobbs.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_01]: Um, maybe a little bit of a boost for like a Hunter Henry, Pop Douglas will get some targets as well.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_01]: But he's never been to dude who's like turning targets into high yards, totals or touchdown totals.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you want to talk yourself into Kyle Williams, go for it.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_01]: But they clearly have not given you any room for that.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_01]: kind of just like a devastating hit for people that took AJ Brown in the second or third round there.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_01]: This could be one of those injuries that really like, you know, kind of fluxed the whole year for you, unfortunately, so.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_01]: Moving on to the, there's an I football game in Melvin, Australia.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_01]: We got the Niners absolutely swack in the shit out of the Rams 27 to 7 just dominating pretty much every part of this game.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: I will just say just a blank statement.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_01]: I am
- 12:08[SPEAKER_01]: good to just write off almost everything from the ramp side like Stafford played poorly.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think Stafford is now just a poor quarterback.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_01]: Puka 5 or 74 got tackled on like the 0.2 yard line at another like could add a massive day.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_01]: One of the one of the big takeaways here, though, and I think this is valid and something that we talked about a lot throughout the summer was the backfield split between Blake Hormen-Carn Williams.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: Play Quorum 10 carries.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_01]: Current Williams 11 carries.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_01]: I think this is going to be similar to what we see most of the year.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_01]: But I also think, Kiren is the more trusted goal line guy and Kiren is the more trusted pass catching back.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_01]: And I think we will also see that kind of play itself out throughout the year.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_01]: We can go over to the Rams running back group here.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Kyrim Williams.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_01]: I mean 36 naps here to Blacorm's 13, but in the 13 snaps at Blacorm played 10 rushing attempts and ran two routes.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_01]: So he's going to be involved when he's on the field.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: But for right now, I think they just obviously, and and Sean McVay's kind of always trusted Kyrim Williams as this guy that can sort of do it all.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_01]: Good pass blocking back.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_01]: Good pass catching back as well.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 13:13[SPEAKER_01]: going to be a split there but kind of links to me still like a really solid RB2 much better days ahead for the Rams obviously not a great game for Devont de Adams either but you know just just just relax.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_01]: One other takeaway though for sure is you know a guy that we talked a little bit about on the channel Terrence Ferguson they were hype them up about oh he's going to be the widest you for three in this offense etc and while I was like yeah I'm fine taking a shot on him I picked him up in a league of mine
- 13:39[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, there's a million ways where this just goes absolutely sideways.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_01]: And one of them is the fact that there's fucking four tight ends on this team.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_01]: Kobe Parkinson, Tyler Higby, Terrence Ferguson, Drew Allen.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, it wasn't great.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_01]: Like, they're all running routes out here.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_01]: Kobe Parkinson actually led the team with 18 routes, Ferguson with 13.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_01]: Higby and Allen both got a few of theirs.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_01]: And Ferguson had the lowest target per outrun rate.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 14:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this is definitely one of those situations where it was like we're shooting for high upside, but we might learn really quickly that there's really no difference in the situation from last year into this year.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_01]: A whole lot of shit that they said about how he's going to be used differently.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_01]: Then we get out there and there's just four tight ends being used all the time.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_01]: I will say though, in some of the research I was doing this morning on, uh, I think it was Sumer Sports, SUME are pretty good website for stats and stuff.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_01]: The Rams and the Bills ran 13 personnel at the highest rate in the NFL, so I think the Buffalo Bills are at like 40% and 13 personnel is, you know, very, very jumbo package.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_01]: So that's three tight ends, one wide receiver.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_01]: Um, it was 40% for Buffalo around 37% for the LA Rams.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_01]: There wasn't a single other team in the NFL.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_01]: That was above 18%.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_01]: So clearly, there's like a boundary being defined here by these types of teams, which means sightings are going to be on the field for a lot of time, but like I just don't see a world right now where tarrants Ferguson could even come close to getting into your line-up.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_01]: He's just,
- 15:04[SPEAKER_01]: He needs to prove to us there's some sort of consistency for the for his role in the L.A. Rams backfield or a tight end group on the other side of things rock party played lights out he was awesome San Francisco often just so many moving parts here so we have
- 15:22[SPEAKER_01]: Dejancer Blink, the very hyped up rookie ends up twisting his ankle.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's a significant ankle injury.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to be out for like the next month or so, which opens up the door for, you both Samuel, it opens up the door for, you know, the Marcus Robinson to run more routes.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_01]: Mike Evans looked like a fucking dog out there, and if you have Mike Evans, I would feel phenomenal about
- 15:44[SPEAKER_01]: what he looked like in this opening game.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_01]: He was clearly like the go-to guy for Brock Perti.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_01]: Every time there was a big catch that needed to be made, they're down, like it was Mike, you know, it was Mike being Mike.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I wish I stayed a little bit stronger because I was so high on him throughout the spring and summer.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: I think I, at one point, I had him as like the winters you for 15, which was about 12 spots above like rankings in ADP.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_01]: But as he was dealing with these little like minor tweaks throughout the summer,
- 16:11[SPEAKER_01]: growing this, quad that.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_01]: I started moving him down and down and down and down and down.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_01]: I really couldn't get a great read on the situation.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_01]: And listen, like obviously he's a very long season.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_01]: He's old, so maybe those do pop back up at some point.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: But as long as Mike Evans is on the field, he looks great.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_01]: And then they're also now dealing with way more injuries.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_01]: Because Christian Kirk's on the IR already.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_01]: Stribbling is now basically on an IR stint.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_01]: You have George Kittle who's working himself back.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_01]: two catches 12 yards very clearly to me didn't look like George Kiddler yet I think it's probably going to be a minute before we actually see that.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_01]: He did run 17 routes Luke Ferrell ran 19 routes Jake Tongus five routes but he ended up getting hurt.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: So Tongus looks like he might miss some time here for the tight end spot in San Francisco, which will likely almost force Kiddler to play more routes than they probably
- 17:04[SPEAKER_01]: wanted to have them on this this early in the year but overall like very funky situation they're going out to Australia first time being played for they got the whole narrative of like that we show up early do we show a play to the game and like get our fucking sleeps arcade and read them whatever that bullshit is yeah just one of those like funky games where you know I don't want to like make any sweeping assumptions for how either team looked in week one because of this
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: Um, Debo looked great.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_01]: I think this was one where I'm not shocked that he had a good game week one.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like it seems a little bit to me like the keen and Alan situation last year or everyone's kind of like written them off, but he's so Intimately knows the offensive scheme and the situation there that
- 17:44[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, he's just going to get in there and be able to run plays immediately and be a semi-focal piece of this offense.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_01]: And I was going to be forced to be a focal piece of this offense because tripling Kirk, drawing Jennings has gone like all the guys from yesterday year are now gone.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_01]: And Evans and D. Boyle are like the only veterans there that can really make a difference here.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_01]: So, Kiddles, a guy that right now, if you own him, like, he's not going to my line up until I see him run, you know, a full slate of snaps.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_01]: Until I see him in like the 60% range, 65, 70% range, I'm probably looking elsewhere at the tight end position.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_01]: Evans is in my line up.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_01]: Debought thinks I've fine, whiter, see for three going forward.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_01]: The backfield is one of those situations where, you know, this one got a lot of run here.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: Because Christian McCaffrey, 10 for 68,
- 18:28[SPEAKER_01]: clear handcuff here 14 for 65 but like let's let's relax here see Mac was one like again dealing with minor injuries throughout the summer like didn't get back to practice until a couple days before the game don't want to load them up in week one he's a veteran like still catches five passes on eight targets leads to team in targets
- 18:51[SPEAKER_01]: More importantly, he was dealing with cramps in this game.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Krissima Cavries dealing with cramps, which led to Caleb Black, taking a lot more work.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_01]: To me, this is like Caleb Black's a very, very clear, very high-end handcuffs to own.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like, gonna get it ton of work if Krissima Cavries goes down.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: Definitely needs to be targeted on the waver wire.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_01]: I would not even blink at moving Christian McAfrey anywhere in my rankings.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like still going to have insane ceiling games, even if Kailon Black takes a little bit of the work within the 20s.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_01]: Like I do think you'll have a little bit of a role like he looked good.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_01]: He looked explosive, but CMAC has every valuable touch in this offense.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_01]: The targets are never going anywhere, especially with the injuries piling up.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to get all the goal line work when they get down there.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_01]: and Kaylon Black maybe we'll we'll jump in for like a a breather series or two um so I have absolutely no concerns about Kaylon Black's cramp lead involvement in this game.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: Moving to the Sunday slate we've got the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Cincinnati Bengals the Bengals win 3327 thanks uh almost fully in part to the fact that the Tampa Bay
- 20:05[SPEAKER_01]: four balls.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_01]: Baker may feel lost three fumbles.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: And that's how you ruin a fantasy day, obviously.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_01]: Bucky Irving also lost one on the bangle side of things.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they they never win week one.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: They did walk away with a win.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_01]: So that's positive for them.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_01]: Joe Burrell, 254, touchdown and interception.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_01]: He's at better days, Jamar Chase, very bad day.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_01]: Unfortunately for the people that drafted him, you know, second, third, fourth overall, you know.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: He's your Mark Chase, he'll be fine.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_01]: T-Higgins, 359.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, just like not a great day overall from the passing offense, Chase Brown does get in those 16, 4, or 56, and a touchdown, 5, or 22.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_01]: So he ends up like piecing together a good fantasy day.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_01]: Joe Borough, the thing I'm very encouraged about is how good the offensive line looks, like they're holding up.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: And I think this is one of the better offensive line units or probably the best offensive line unit that he's had in Cincinnati since taking over as the quarterback.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_01]: So long-term, very optimistic about it.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think the offense is going to look exactly like it did over the last few years.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: It was a good game by Mike Asikki, kind of out of nowhere.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_01]: Seven targets, five catches, 78 yards, and the touchdown kind of leads the team.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_01]: And all of those attributes there, very unpredictable about when he's going to end up being a guy.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_01]: They did get rid of no offense.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_01]: It was on the Saints now, and he was kind of like a thorn in the side of Asikki last year.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_01]: But like if that's the case, kind of annoying.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_01]: Let's look at the backfield splits between both teams.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_01]: Chase Brown, obviously, you know, kind of dominated touches there, dominated snaps to 46 to 18.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_01]: This is where Somagia P Ryan ended up getting into the game a bit, long down in distance.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_01]: Six snaps for P Ryan, three snaps for Chase Brown.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_01]: But short down in distance, inside the 5-jar line, this is great to see Chase Brown got all three of those, two-minute drill, he got all six of those, so like really, really good utilization for Chase Brown, love to see that in week one, better days ahead, obviously.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_01]: Um, had a good day, but like sealing games ahead for sure.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: On the other side of things for the buck and ears, we did have Sean Tucker out of this one, which left the backfield completely open to bucky Irving and Kenneth Gainwell.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, they just didn't run the ball very much.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_01]: Eight rushing times for bucky, five for Kenneth Gainwell, bucky really strong route run right here.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_01]: Um 21 routes ended up getting seven targets.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_01]: Do I think that's sticky?
- 22:20[SPEAKER_01]: Where he's going to out target.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_01]: Can he gain well seven to one?
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: No, but it's great to see Short down in distance three snaps also gets in for a touchdown long down just in six.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_01]: Naps.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_01]: So really strong utilization for bucky Irving has a very, very strong day here eight for 45 gets a touchdown catcher seven passes for 48 yards.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_01]: This is the Cincinnati Bengals defense and I will say they looked way better.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_01]: way, way, way better, but that's also going, I mean, they added a lot of pieces, Dexter Lawrence looked awesome yesterday.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_01]: The defense is definitely revamped, but you're also going to look a million times better when you end up causing and recovering four fucking fumbles in a game.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's just not something that's going to happen.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_01]: Like if you if you recover one fumble a game, that's very good.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_01]: So four times, obviously, it's going to make shit look terrible for any opposing offense.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: Overall though, it does not feel ultimately like this might be a defense like last year where you just run all over them at will.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_01]: But Bucky looked good, the receiver core, I mean, they just kind of were flat across the board.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_01]: Abuka was really good in the first half, and then I don't even think he caught a ball in the second half.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_01]: Five for 63, whatever, PPR day was hoping to see a little bit more from Chris Godwin, four for 40, with Jalen McMillan ruled out.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_01]: Ted Hers was kind of just out there running sprints on the side.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: I do think Jalen McMillan, you know, I don't know if he'll be back in
- 23:44[SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully close week two week three.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like he could carve out a really big role in this offense like pretty quickly if Chris Godwin doesn't really like separate himself from the rest of the receivers in this room.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_01]: No concern for a book, though.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_01]: I do think he probably saw a lot of DJ Turner and DJ Turner's pretty pretty pretty good.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_01]: My insane, this shit was fucking awesome.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_01]: What, uh, what a game.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_01]: 31, 30.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_01]: Over time, Saints go for two.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_01]: Don't connect, lose it.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but what a comeback by them.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_01]: Tyler Schuck was drowning in the first half.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_01]: The entire Saints offense was so, so bad in the first half.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but, you know, they ended up pulling through.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_01]: And this was the thesis of drafting Saints players, man.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like,
- 24:31[SPEAKER_01]: They ran, I think it was 86 or 87 offensive plays in this game.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, you know, over time included in that.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe you drop it down to like 79 or 78 regular game regular quarter snaps, which is so high.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_01]: and this was the thesis behind getting as many pieces of this game into your lineup as possible with Chuck and E.T.N.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_01]: and Alave and Valey and Joanne Johnson and Gibbs and Alman Ra.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: Some of the other pieces obviously didn't hit, but like, I mean this was this is why you draft guys like this and it's like, you
- 25:05[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes you want your cake and you want to eat it too, you want 80 plays per game, and you also want fucking Peyton Manning to be the quarterback.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_01]: No, we were drafting these players because of the environment.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we were drafting these players because telling more runs a shit little place, because they playing a dome and it should be high scoring, because they're going to pass the ball, like 56 pass attempts in this one.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_01]: That is what you drafted them for.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_01]: Like you can't be upset that it didn't look pretty, because this is what we were
- 25:34[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of questions about ETN and whether or not we should be nervous.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_01]: Do I like what we saw?
- 25:39[SPEAKER_01]: No, I think there's a, he had nine carries 46 yards, Kendra Miller, nine carries 30 yards.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_01]: He does end up getting the touchdown from about eight yards out.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_01]: ETN though does he nine targets in this game, catches seven for 32.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_01]: So PPR, he had an end up having a fine day.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_01]: Makes it a little bit messy because like Alvin Kumar is probably a week away from returning like he could be back in B2 So what does that look like even more so does Alvin Kumar end up seeing five targets per game?
- 26:05[SPEAKER_01]: To me it kind of felt like early on this Saints offense was just having no success So it's kind of like hey, let's see what another player on on the bench can do and see if we can get a spark from him So I don't necessarily know the game plan is to split these carries
- 26:18[SPEAKER_01]: 9 to 9 or 50, 50 for, you know, the game's going forward.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_01]: You don't sign a guy to a $50 million contract and do that.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_01]: I also think there's a very real chance that the Detroit Lions run defense, you know, we're figuring out a lot early on, you know, we're going to have incredibly, we're only working off of last year's stats.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_01]: for whether or not we think a defense is going to be good.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_01]: And then for these first few weeks, we're only working off of a sample size of, you know, one game, then two games, and three games to select and highlight what parts of these defenses are offences are going to be good.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's a really good chance that this Lions defense ends up being like a very significant,
- 26:56[SPEAKER_01]: pass funnel defense, where, you know, they're without Kirby Joseph, they're without Brian Branch, they lost Aaron Arnold this offseason, like they're down a ton of secondary players, but they played a lot of last year without Alie McNeill, who was like a very, very good inside the, uh, inside the line defensive tackle, he's a very good run stopper.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_01]: He was back.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_01]: He's back, you know, kind of in full force.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_01]: I think between him and Hutchinson, like they have a decent defensive line that I think is going to be tough to run the ball against.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and again, we're not going to really know all these things.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_01]: We're just kind of hypothesizing early on in the, uh, in the season.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_01]: But I, I think there's a very, very real chance that like the lines run defense is actually pretty good.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_01]: So that's why we didn't see a lot of success.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_01]: But a lot of a goes fucking nuclear here.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_01]: Um, you know, I, he, he, he, he left the game like four fucking times.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, I, I've never seen a guy get injured so much.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_01]: There was a tweet that was like he's on the, he's on the sideline with his socks off.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, what do you, I don't even, what am I supposed to do with that information?
- 27:53[SPEAKER_01]: Is he hurt?
- 27:55[SPEAKER_01]: Is he just grounding?
- 27:56[SPEAKER_01]: Is he trying to get like good energy going?
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: I don't understand, but regardless, had a fucking huge day was awesome.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_01]: To on VLA, one of my like sleepers of the week and the wider sheaver rankings video, love to see it going to be one of the top waver wire guys as long as Jordan Tyson is out.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_01]: We'll say this was like the cake matchup, you know.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_01]: if they didn't perform in this game, if they didn't end up having a big game, like that would have been very worrisome, do I expect these types of outputs and in better games, and I think they play at Baltimore next week, so going to be a little bit of a tougher one, though that should be pretty fucking high scoring.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I think you're looking to start most of these guys again, Joanne Johnson ends up getting home.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_01]: It was very high in him this week, ends up like, you know, saving it all to the fourth quarter.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_01]: Wanted wanted to give every fantasy player that's already him a fucking hard attack, but you know, he saved you.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_01]: You didn't die.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_01]: no flatlining.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_01]: So my concern level for Travis CTN, I would say going into the game was like zero to one.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_01]: Right now I'd still put it at like a two to three.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not, I'm not like going all in on this split here between him and Kendrick Miller.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_01]: I think when we look at the snaps, I have not looked at this yet, but I still think it's going to be super heavy in favor of CTN.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, 50 snaps for ETN, 26 for country Miller, someone named I believe CJ Donaldson, yeah, again, fucking 14 snaps that nobody asked for.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_01]: So that's kind of weird.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_01]: I don't love that.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_01]: We'll have to kind of keep an eye on what Kelly Moore says about the backfield, but two minute drill was all ETN.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_01]: Long down just in snaps was mostly ETN.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_01]: We didn't get any carries inside the five yard line.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 29:28[SPEAKER_01]: We don't know who the goal line back is.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: Kendra Miller did get that one touchdown, but that was from eight yards out.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_01]: You know, when they're inside the three or two, do they flip flop a little bit, routes run though 25 to six to seven.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_01]: So as long as the Saints continue to do what the Saints are doing, I've all you fast pace, passing the ball a lot.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_01]: ETA and I think it's gonna be fine.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: Jets in the Titans.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: So the Jets take it down 23 to 10.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Smith 215 scoreless yards, the backfield was definitely a split between Breeze Hall and Braylon Allen, but Breeze Hall looked great.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this is a Titan scene.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_01]: That's an absolute fucking shambies right now, uh, like,
- 30:09[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think you could sell me on any team being, I guess, even close to them in terms of competing for the number one overall pick right now.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_01]: They are, they are as bad as it gets.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we are hopeful that things could maybe turn around with Brian Dable and listen to week one, but like you're playing the jets and there's just no heartbeat out there.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_01]: Backfield, yeah, Breeze look great, 22202, and a touchdown on the ground, two for 16th through the air, which was a little bit more involved in the passing game, but Gino did only attempt 24 passes there and kind of spread the ball around a little bit.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_01]: Look at the splits between the backfield here, where art though.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_01]: Breeze 37, Braille and Allen 25, 22 to 10 in terms of rushing attempts, ran the same amount of routes.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_01]: Little sus.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_01]: So let's not just don't think we're going to get a world where Breeze Hall is like getting 85 to 90% of the snaps here.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_01]: It just doesn't feel like it's going to happen.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_01]: So you just need Breeze to be good when he's on the field.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_01]: And he certainly has a talent to do it.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_01]: What will games look like when they're not playing the Titans and they don't have good game script?
- 31:16[SPEAKER_01]: Don't know.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_01]: This is a little bit concerning here.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_01]: Long down in distance snaps.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_01]: Eight for Braille on Allen and two for Breeze Hall.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_01]: a little weird, but inside the five, the goal line rush is two for Breeze Hall is zero for Braille and Allen.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_01]: You do like to see that.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_01]: So overall, I mean, definitely more of a positive game for Breeze than a negative game, good to see the offense like be able to be functional in a game against the Titans, like they kind of control the script here and whatever, excuse me for one sec.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_00]: We're literally so back.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_01]: That's ridiculous.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_01]: There was no thumbs down.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_01]: And as soon as I said, excuse me for one sec, a thumbs down fucking populated.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_01]: So rude.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_01]: So, past catchers, Garrett Wilson, six for 79, seven targets, more than doubles any other player on the team.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, you're going to be the number one target there, and I'm Mitchell, strong game three for 60, not only three targets there, Omar Cooper, ended up having a really big play very early on, and then he ended up suffering a high ankle sprain.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to be out for quite a while here.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_01]: This is kind of the problem with investing in the passing offense of the New York Jets.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_01]: Frank Wright just he plays not to lose.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_01]: He just doesn't really want to pass the ball and I get it.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_01]: You're upscores, but like I don't think he ever wants to throw the ball more than 30 times in a game They're not going to throw for many touchdowns this year.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_01]: You know Garrett Wilson will probably end the year with a very very high target share PPR will look good, but I just don't know how many touchdowns we can count on out of this receiver group If you're not going to get it get it done against the Titans, you know when are we going to get it done?
- 33:05[SPEAKER_01]: I do really like Adonine Mitchell though.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's going to have some big fucking blow up games and he's very clearly the Widersheaver 2 here running as many routes as Garret Wilson here.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_01]: 21 routes a piece and have as many targets obviously, but the A die and this was kind of what we saw last year for Adonine as the Widersheaver 1 when Garret was out.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_01]: 8 out of 19.7 yards downfield, which will lead to boom games that will lead to bus games, I think, in good matchups though, he could be in intriguing kind of like sneaky flex play down there, especially with Omar Cooper now, out Kenyansodik, and that of getting in for a rushing touchdown, which you know, could have went to Brace, could have went to Braylon or something like that, could have went a different, you know, different way, bounce the different way on a different day, whatever, Kenyansodik, he's cool, cool player right now, not a guy I really want in fantasy, on the other side of things, I don't
- 33:53[SPEAKER_01]: how you'd want anyone in fantasy here.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_01]: One Dell was like the only guy in this offense.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_01]: I was interested in in PPR leagues.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_01]: And after this game, I don't really know how we, I don't know how to be optimistic about anyone here.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_01]: I was just off-carnell-tate.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_01]: I was off, I mean, who the fuck was on Calvin Ridley?
- 34:14[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_01]: Didn't really want Tony Pollard, didn't want Tajaj Spears, definitely don't want camoard.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it just doesn't look good.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_01]: Tony Pollard and Tajaj Spears split snaps almost evenly in this one.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_01]: It amounted to almost nothing for either them.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_01]: 34 total yards for 20 Pollard on eight touches, Tajaj Spears.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_01]: 24 total yards on five touches.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_01]: So this is just an unstartable offense for the time being.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this was, oh, I should also note, Mink of its Patrick got hurt in this game.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_01]: for the jets and I think there's a pretty good chancey misses next week.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_01]: So I believe they played the Packers next week.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_01]: Could be wheels up for Christian Watson.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_01]: Once again, Ravens cults, holy shit.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_01]: Did the Ravens look fucking good?
- 35:01[SPEAKER_01]: If there's one thing that I might want to over react to, it is this.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_01]: It is the Baltimore Ravens offense under Declan Doyle.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_01]: He might very well be the motherfucking chosen one.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_01]: because my goodness did Lamar look good to this offense look good.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_01]: Zay Flowers looked fucking unbelievable in the first quarter, first half before he got hurt.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_01]: 5 for 150 and a touchdown before half time.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_01]: Then he pulls up with what we don't know yet to be some sort of hamstring tweak or strain.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_01]: We don't know the severity of it.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_01]: From Baltimore, they seem a little bit optimistic.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think we've gotten any like real confirmed reports about like a timeline on it.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_01]: I do believe we heard
- 35:47[SPEAKER_01]: that the hamstring injury or the hamstring re-ingery was a repeat of the hamstring that he had been dealing with throughout August.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_01]: So we missed a lot of practice time because of a hamstring tweaking of August and then I believe this was the same hamstring that he ended up kind of retweaking.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really know, I can't really give you much more insight.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_01]: I would say the reports like don't seem that pessimistic at first, or at least so far.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'd be kind of surprised if he doesn't miss a game, you know, with
- 36:21[SPEAKER_01]: hamstring injury, especially a re injury, tends to lean towards missing a little bit of time, and that's brutal run out for today flowers or afters, because clearly, you know, I will say he did the exact same thing last year in week one, and then probably didn't score touchdown like five straight weeks, but this one feels a little bit different.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_01]: He looks like he was moving different a little bit, and the way that they were lying him up out of the fucking backfield all over the place, like yeah, he looked incredible.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we're just going to have to say tapped into the injury reports.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, unfortunately, Jacoby Lane, the promising rookie, uh, he ended up fracturing his wrist.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_01]: So he's going to miss minimum three weeks.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_01]: Could be up like six eight week something like that.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_01]: So unfortunately, the guy that I felt like could have been fun to have with like some upside would have been Jacoby Lane.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_01]: Rashad Bateman kind of next man up, I guess, maybe they activate Elijah Sarat who's another rookie That was not active on game day for this one Chris Moore catches a 53 yard pass like obviously you want pieces of the Baltimore Ravens passing offense Maybe it's a mark Andrews, I guess he looks so fucking dusty though for 49 in this game
- 37:25[SPEAKER_01]: It's a little bit tough to tell as well with the guy like Bateman because like once we got into the second half, you know, Baltimore, they had this game pretty securely.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_01]: They were up 18 and a half, right?
- 37:33[SPEAKER_01]: So they can kind of like do it.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_01]: Do what they did and give the ball to fucking Derek Henry who's never going to age apparently 24 for 144 three touchdowns on the ground.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_01]: God damn it is nice owning that man in my most important league.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yesterday was fun.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yesterday was a good fucking time watching the king reassert himself upon the throne.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_01]: They were they were running plenty of plays under center, which is great for running back like Derek Henry being able to build up some steam rather than playing from shotgun all the time.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_01]: So it's also great that Lamar Jackson can run under center plays play action like a cheat code right now.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_01]: So love to see what Declan Doyle did in week one.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_01]: Derek Henry also did this.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_01]: He faced the Baltimore Ravens face the highest percentage of heavy boxes in week 1.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_01]: The highest percentage of any NFL team, and Derek Henry said, I don't give a single fuck about what you're doing.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_01]: Put another guy in there, put another guy in there, put your whole team in there, and I'm going there.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_01]: Didn't matter.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_01]: So Derek Henry go to say flowers will have to wait on the...
- 38:33[SPEAKER_01]: on what happens with him.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_01]: On the flip side, Colts looked really good for like five seconds.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_01]: They looked really fucking good five seconds.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_01]: At least they're passing offense to Daniel Jones and them, you know, they looked good out the gate.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_01]: Jonathan Taylor got his rocks off 19 for 98 to touchdowns as long as they ended up Jones under Senator Jonathan Taylor should be fine here.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_01]: Um, should also be noted, both more without Nadeh, but B.K.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_01]: don't know when he's going to be back, obviously, had a very, very long absence, but he will increase that, uh, playing the offensive line pretty significantly here.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_01]: So if he is back under center, going to be a little bit more difficult to run, but JT did what JT does.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, big game from him there.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, but, uh,
- 39:10[SPEAKER_01]: receivers, Josh Downs started off very hot out the gate, ultimately though Daniel Jones, 19 for 31, 5.4 yards per attempt, just like not a very strong game from him, so not a very strong game from most of these past catchers here.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_01]: Let us look at these snaps though, keen at Allen leading the team in both targets and receptions.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_01]: You just love to see that.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_01]: So 32 routes from Josh Downs, good to see, leaves a team in routes, playing a lot in 11 personnel and 12 personnel, which is kind of what everybody was getting excited about this offseason.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_01]: Keenan Allen, second with 26 routes out Pierce, unsurprisingly third, there is obviously gonna take a little bit of time to ramp up from the surgery that he was dealing with in the,
- 39:52[SPEAKER_01]: offseason, but still seeing insane areas over 100 areas, despite seeing only six targets, a dot of 17.8.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_01]: So kind of right back in the role that he saw last year, going to be a tough wider silver room to really trust on a week by week basis until we see Daniel Jones really like clicking again.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm kind of hands off for the time being, especially in any sort of like relatively tough matchup here.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_01]: Moving to the Steelers in the Falcons.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_01]: Moving past the Steelers in the Falcons.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_01]: Chicago Bears and Carolina Panthers here.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_00]: This is, all right, we'll go back.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_00]: I just can't believe some of you dumb-fucking idiots fell for Kyle Pitz again this year.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_01]: The dude had like three straight years of just shit production was bordering on the fourth straight year of shit production last year and then Drake London got hurt, he had one big game and then it's like, yup, Kyle Pitz to go.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_01]: Kyle Pitz to go.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to tell you.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to tell you.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_01]: Cooper Rush though, he's a bit of a problem for us.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_01]: Our quarterback room, we have Tua who has backspasms and a bleak strain that happens right before or about to kick off.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_01]: He's supposed to be our starting quarterback.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_01]: We have Michael Panics who doesn't feel fully himself coming back from the ACL tier.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_01]: We have Cooper Rush.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_01]: We have Cooper Rush, which basically made our offense turning into like, just get the ball and be John Robinson's hands as many times.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_01]: The fact that we were one touch down away from winning this game and all it was just strictly the be John Robin's things for this one bed.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, if Cooper Rush's under center, very worried about Drake London.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_01]: I got other news for you.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_01]: If to a tag of a low is under center, I'm worried about Drake London.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_01]: Like as the summer progressed and I went on kind of like a tweet storm this morning about things I picked up from the games,
- 41:55[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, if Michael panics is under center, listen, I think to a and Michael panics will both be back sooner rather than later.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think we have at least one of them back for week two.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think we can rush Cooper rush out there again.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_01]: No pun intended.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_01]: If Panics is under center, I feel better about Drake London.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think by the end of the season, his end of season numbers will be there.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_01]: He's a phenomenal wide receiver.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_01]: But as the summer progress and the reports got worse and worse about like Panics not being ready, tool looks horrendous like that became a scarier and scarier click where he was going in the mid to late second round for sure.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 42:31[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, if I own Drake London, yeah, I would be a little bit concerned about and buy a little bit like I'd be pretty fucking concerned about the situation right now.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_01]: Great player just in a shit situation.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so yeah, there's nothing you want besides.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_01]: Be John in that offense right now on the flip side and Rogers 40 pass attempts kind of good to see the first time under Mike McCarthy at least for like people who invest it into this Why to receive a room here not that anything really came from it, but You know Michael Pittman three for 58 leads a team in receiving yards, but very very far behind in targets unfortunately I do want to see the snaps and the routes run here among that receiver group
- 43:17[SPEAKER_01]: Um, all right.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_01]: So 42 routes for MacF 39 routes for Michael Pittman, just not a lot of targets there.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_01]: A dot crazy for MacF and Russell Wilson in Saint amount of air yards there.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's got to be amongst the lead league in air yards for this for this week.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_01]: No, Alave to 39 DKMKF 171 and shout out both the Packers receivers.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_01]: I actually can't wait to talk about that fucking game.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_01]: Um.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so Pittsburgh, I mean, listen, like with the style of passing offense they have, both of these receivers are going to be so hitting miss, so boomerbuss is wider, silver threes.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_01]: If you even want to consider it, like great to see DKM back at 10 targets, could add a much bigger day, had to touch down past.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_01]: That was a tough catch, but like kind of slip through his fingers, had some deeper passes where like he's going to get penalties called on him or against him and on him.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_01]: Defense offense, whatever.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_01]: So obviously there's gonna be some boom games for DK Mekhaft, but you know This was against the Falcons like this is a match.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_01]: I mean kind of got to take advantage of if you drafted a DK or a Michael Pippman I think Pat Firemuth is kind of like a sneaky He's like a sneaky one of those tight ends in like the doll and shawl to the Jake Ferguson range where no more John who Smith I do think matters for a guy like Pat Firemuth So he goes 5 or 46 in the touchdown.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_01]: He's gonna be one of those guys were like, you know, he'll go 3 for 40
- 44:32[SPEAKER_01]: multiple times, but like he will have games where he goes five for 50 and a touchdown here.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_01]: So good to see that with him, I guess.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_01]: Jalen Warren outcarers Rico Dattle also sees six targets to Rico Dattle's five and does a lot more with them.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_01]: So I prefer Jalen Warren much more to Rico Dattle.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_01]: This offseason, Rico is not a guy I was really like in on and it's just hard to be optimistic,
- 45:00[SPEAKER_01]: Warren just profiles so much better as a fit with Aaron Rodgers.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_01]: Rico did out an app in 37 to 23.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_01]: I think that will happen in game scripts where they're up significantly, but I also don't expect that to happen very often, you know, you're planning against Falcons.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to be some of the woes, some of the woes.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_01]: Overall, yeah, I mean, it's it's going to be a little bit tough to there will be production in this backfield no doubt about it But it will be it'll be clear split like this is what's going to be the case going forward for the rest of the season Well, that's one of them gets hurt
- 45:33[SPEAKER_01]: Bears Panthers.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_01]: This will probably be the overreaction game of the year.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_01]: No doubt about it.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_01]: High level takeaways.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_01]: The Panthers defense is fucking atrocious, obviously.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_01]: The Bears defense.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_01]: I actually don't know what's worse.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_01]: The Bears letting the Panthers put up almost 40 on them or the Panthers letting the Bears put up 60 on them.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_01]: Like I actually think relative to their teams, they're both equally bad.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_01]: So Caleb goes nuts, obviously.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_01]: 270, two touchdowns through the air.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_01]: Adds another 65 and two touchdowns on the ground.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_01]: Their running game was so fucking good.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_01]: Almost 300 yards on the ground, six touchdowns.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_01]: The Andre Swift goes crazy, 18 for 124 and 3.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_01]: Kauma Nungai, 10 for 100, bus off a long, 60 yard touchdown on the ground.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_01]: Wasn't even sure he was gonna play this week to be honest.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_01]: He missed almost all of August with a little bit of, thing was like a knee contusion.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_01]: Or a hyper extension, but he goes right back into the line up here, and I will say Swift looked awesome, and I think he's going to be a phenomenal fantasy pick.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_01]: But I think as the scene progresses, we probably will see a little bit more of what we saw last year in that it's like a more of a one two punch than like a Swift 70% common on guy 30% here.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_01]: The big, the big takeaway here that everyone's freaking out about is like, oh my god, the Chicago bear scored 60 points.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_01]: Colson Lovelin has zero fucking catches.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, Roman Dunesay, two catches for 50 yards, Luther Burton, 63 yards.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_01]: None of them score a touchdown.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_01]: Cole Comet, involved.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_01]: I think worrying about any individual player on the bear's offense right now after this course, 60 points is like you are so missing the forest for the trees there.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_01]: If I have any of these players, like if I have burden, if I have loveland, like this is not worry me at all, like I love what we saw from the bear's offense.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_01]: Caleb looked in complete control, it looks like he's clearly taking that next step.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_01]: This is a dude in Ben Johnson came out, said he wants to be the highest quarantine member, like he's not taking his foot off the pedal.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_01]: No doubt about it.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_01]: So this is going to be a defense that is clearly letting up points to fucking everyone in anyone that steps on the field.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_01]: And in return, they're going to have games where they throw the ball a lot.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_01]: So, yes, they're going to have games where they don't have it, don't have it,
- 47:47[SPEAKER_01]: Dominate on the ground and we saw this happen and when common on guy breaks off a 60 yard run and the Andre Swift breaks off big runs like sure there's gonna be fewer catches and touchdown catches to have four receivers here But like I'm not bugging about any of the receivers on the Chicago Bears after they put up 60 points It just didn't happen to go their way There's gonna be games where they put up 50 and those two or three guys are gonna be the only ones you score fantasy points And then you're gonna be like oh fuck.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_01]: I was an idiot
- 48:16[SPEAKER_01]: home to flip side of things.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_01]: Panthers price young actually has a great day looked really good.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_01]: Coker eight for 138 two touchdowns nine target.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_01]: This will be a huge talking point all week.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_01]: There's another one where like you simply cannot overreact to the Carolina Panthers dropping 37 on the Chicago Bears defense.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_01]: This is a bad Chicago Bears defense.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 48:40[SPEAKER_01]: relax.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_01]: To me, to me, there's two takeaways.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_01]: Like, Jalen Coker looks very legit.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to run every single route outside of Technic Millen.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like, both of those guys are going to be on the field for every single pass play.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_01]: Coker is running the easier routes.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to be on the outside a lot.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_01]: You know, there's a lot of talk about him running more routes from the slot.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_01]: I looked last year.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_01]: He was around a 19 to 20 percent slot guy.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, just a single one
- 49:10[SPEAKER_01]: in uptick, but you know, a 5% increase in slots and apps when you are running, let's see how many routes here in this game.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_01]: 39 routes.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_01]: What is 5% of 39?
- 49:29[SPEAKER_01]: I have no idea, but it just, it's simply can't be more than like one or two routes.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_01]: So that is the extent of like the increase we're talking about if things hold steady here.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_01]: But Jalen Coker is Jalen Coker is just very good, dude.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_01]: And if you draft them late in your drafts, I think you have, you know, a really solid depth flex option there.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_01]: great to see.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_01]: This was a guy that a lot of the fantasy community was very high on any deliver for you in a beautiful matchup.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_01]: Darren Waller, I think, needs to be called out a little bit here, too.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_01]: Came in, kind of, H-taving Sanders is lunch.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_01]: Did split some time with Tommy Trimble, but I do think Darren Waller was probably the best looking tight end, passcatching tight end on this team, ran a bunch of routes, also had a touchdown called back.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_01]: So, like, could add a better day.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we obviously got to talk about the backfield.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_01]: And this became more and more evident
- 50:25[SPEAKER_01]: That Chubo was going to be the clear guy four week one Jonathan Brooks missed like the entire last week of practice with like knee soreness It just didn't feel like the vibes are off there and it felt very obvious that Jonathan Brooks was going to play a very very Secondary role here Chubo Hubbard 10 for 49 on the ground touchdown three for 38 through the air touchdown Jonathan Brooks four for 14 did have one very big play Looked explosive which is good, and I think it was going to be a role for him
- 50:50[SPEAKER_01]: But this was always what I felt Jonathan Brooks was.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_01]: And I was so high in him in the off season, but like, to a point.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_01]: There was a point where once he started going above around nine, that's where I was like, I don't, I don't know that I really want much more of him at that point.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_01]: Because then Chuba was,
- 51:06[SPEAKER_01]: almost certainly coming back before week one like he had the hamstring train and then that's when John the Brooks went to like the six round and I was like this is there's a really bad choice by I think most fantasy drafters because Chubo is still slated to be ready for week one and then Jonathan Brooks ended up getting banged up and the snap counts here like two but dominated 43 to 12 had more rushing attempts significantly more routes run like
- 51:29[SPEAKER_01]: It was bad, it's going to be bad, it's going to be bad for Jonathan Brooksman, two minutes drill, long down in distance, took the only goal line snap here.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_01]: So, listen, I don't think this is how it's going to run out for the rest of the season.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think they still need to ease Jonathan Brooks back into game shape and gameville there and dealing with the injury at the end of August, early September was like, always going to be kind of a thorn in the side of what we were going to see early on.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_01]: So, I'm not dropping Jonathan Brooks.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_01]: I am very likely playing Cuba until we see something otherwise they play the Falcons next week, so like wheels all the way to fuck up.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_01]: Put hot drawlets in it.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_01]: Browns and Jacksonville.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I don't know what I could tell you about Cleveland.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_01]: Sounds like they're going to start Watson again.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_01]: Sounds like you can't really start any player in this offense.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_01]: I will say.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_01]: We'll say, I'm going to start our howl fan it again next week.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_01]: Fuck it.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_01]: Fuck it.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_01]: We ball.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's bad.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_01]: She'd always going to be under there sooner rather than later, but yet.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_01]: Not great.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_01]: Juddkins, not great.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing is great.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_01]: The Jaguar's defense very good.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_01]: So this was like the least surprising finish of the day.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_01]: The Jaguar's passing offense was fucking awesome Trevor Lawrence 245 four touchdowns almost had as many touchdowns as yet in completions in this one Liam Cohen is just like that fucking dude, man.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_01]: He just understands offense and the the modern day NFL offense.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_01]: He's like Pass rate pass rate pass rate like play action.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just get it cooking, man.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_01]: Just just love to see Liam Cohen like
- 52:59[SPEAKER_01]: Having pieces of the Jacksonville offense, you know, Parker Washington was obviously to do we were super high on all summer as was kind of everybody and he just proved everybody right five or 83 touchdown six targets they just didn't need to do much in the second half if they had if this was like a shoot out game when the jacks play like the line into the jacks play the bills or something like that it's going to be a movie.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be bad.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be bad.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, P. Wash, fucking awesome.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_01]: Jacobi Myers, so the route distribution here.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_01]: Only 23 pass attempts for Trevor Lawrence.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, you're going to be higher and better.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_01]: Better passing gamescripts for them.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_01]: Jacobie Myers actually led with 20 routes run, which was nice.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_01]: And we saw two targets, caught one of them.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_01]: Big play, scrambled drill, T-Law, 32 yard touchdown, caught in the back of the end zone.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_01]: It was quite beautiful.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_01]: Shout out, mate.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_01]: Parker Washington and Brent and Strange both tied with 18.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_01]: And then Brian Thomas Jr. had 14, but he left this game at one point with a shoulder injury.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_01]: And it could be an ace at you sprain, it could be like a minor acesprane.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_01]: Apparently it's not too serious here,
- 54:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, Brian Thomas Jr. is one of those guys where if he's not making a big play, you know, he's probably not going to have very many opportunities to really get it done for you in fantasy.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_01]: But I think he is ready to go.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_01]: This was this was a game where like, I felt like it favored the inside guys a little bit more with Denzel war on the outside for Cleveland.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_01]: So it's kind of just like,
- 54:26[SPEAKER_01]: BGJ look kind of good though early on before we got hurt.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_01]: So, I don't know.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if I'm saying about BGJ anymore.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_01]: I don't give a fuck rushing backfield.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_01]: Two in Chris Rodriguez.
- 54:36[SPEAKER_01]: So two and ends up, you know, getting a lot of work here.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_01]: 15 carry 66 yards.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_01]: Look pretty good.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_01]: Look relatively explosive.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_01]: Chris Rodriguez is playing a lot early on, but really didn't amount to much.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_01]: Six, four, 23 in that backfield.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_01]: They should all two and
- 54:50[SPEAKER_01]: Also catches just a single pass for 22 yards, so not much cooking in terms of like getting the running backs in volunteers, especially through the passing game, but like Cone was just cooking with the riders hevers man.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_01]: He just likes a group that they have there.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_01]: Josh Cameron made a little bit of noise to for 20 didn't even know who he was, but he got a lot of hype throughout the summer and he played more snaps than Travis Hunter.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I should
- 55:11[SPEAKER_01]: should also finish that up where BTJ at 14 snaps or 14 routes run, Josh Cameron had seven and then Travis Hunter was down at three.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_01]: So again, this was felt like fucking obvious, as soon as the season ended, but Travis Hunter, they need him to play D-back.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_01]: They need them to be really good at one of the positions, not like not fucking clueless out there on both sides.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_01]: That does them no good.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_01]: They could be a very good defensive.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_01]: They get Travis Hunter as their
- 55:42[SPEAKER_01]: Bill's Houston.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, holy shit.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_01]: This was a fun game for for someone who had Josh Allen and Nico Collins and you're already at league mates like
- 55:54[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just say I enjoyed this one.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_01]: All right, Josh Allen went full fucking Superman mode in this one.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_01]: 334, two touchdowns through the air.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_01]: Another two touchdowns on the ground.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_01]: Probably should have lost his game.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_01]: If Camaro Lasser catches that interception in the end zone, very end of the game, but he doesn't.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_01]: And Josh Allen makes him pay.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_01]: Not worried about James Cook, 13 from 57.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's just how the game's script went.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_01]: Last two seasons, he actually dominated the Texans on the ground while Josh Allen really struggled, but they flipped it vice versa.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I, I should bring this up as well mentioned it earlier in the video that
- 56:30[SPEAKER_01]: The Buffalo Bills ran the single highest rate of 13 personnel in week one, 40% of their players were from 13 personnel, so three tight ends on the field.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_01]: And I tweeted something out earlier in the summer about Dalton Concade, how last year Dalton Concade ranked first in like every stat category that's on a like a route run basis.
- 56:48[SPEAKER_01]: Fancy points for outrun yards per outrun yards per target, yards per reception.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_01]: But you only played like 55% of the snaps.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_01]: At the end of the tweet, I was like, you know, this whole trend in movement towards heavy or personnel, 12, 13 personnel, if the bills buy into that, this is great for Dawn Conquade, because we'll have extra tight ends on the field, and they could do the blocking, whereas Conquade could run the routes.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_01]: And we saw that in this one, and Conquade was fucking awesome, kind of picking up where he left off the big games from last year.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_01]: And this was a tough matchup against the Texans.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_01]: He was making plays against Derek
- 57:25[SPEAKER_01]: Let's actually check how many snaps he was on the field for how many routes he ran 22 routes, so clearly like dominated the other tight ends at 12 for knocks three for Jackson Hawes and one for a lot to Yeah, he just he just love to see that so
- 57:47[SPEAKER_01]: Good for Concaid, DJ Moore first game 500 and touched down eight targets.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_01]: He felt like it's a summer progress.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_01]: He was going to be more and more of a really solid pick in fantasy this year, where people who are like obsessed with yards, brought run, would just completely wipe him off their boards.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_01]: Don't want to go crazy.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's week one, but looks like a very good fit in that offense, obviously.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_01]: He did get rolled up on at one point with an ankle.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_01]: I hate and then he returned, but like I something to monitor.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think I've heard anything like darker concrete with DJ Moore, but definitely something to look at or look for.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_01]: flip side shroud, you know, he had his ups and downs.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_01]: Overall, I think looked way better, obviously, than the way that last year ended.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_01]: This is a pretty tough past defense for Buffalo.
- 58:32[SPEAKER_01]: David Montgomery though, he's a story of the game.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_01]: 20 carries, 60 yards, ends up scoring three touchdowns, one through the air there.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_01]: Was he efficient on the ground?
- 58:39[SPEAKER_01]: No, but this is kind of like why they got him, so they can fucking give him 20 useless carries.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_01]: And they're gonna use him on the goal line, you know, nonstop here.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 58:48[SPEAKER_01]: This is what they brought in David Montgomery for.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_01]: This is what you drafted him for.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_01]: There will be games where he does this without touchdowns, though, and he will give you seven or eight points.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_01]: You kind of just take the good with the bad here.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_01]: So obviously a very good game from David Montgomery.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_01]: will have to see how that plays out going forward.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_01]: What he marks almost 10 carries, but only a single target, two David Montgomery's three.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_01]: So that was also good to see.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_01]: In the receiving group, I mean, it was pretty much just all Nico Collins and nobody else.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_01]: I think ran more than 55% of the snaps in this one.
- 59:22[SPEAKER_01]: Don't show it's eight targets.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_01]: Steve Rogers is in six targets, but no one really does anything.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_01]: Jalen Noelle is a couple of big plays, but again, he's not really running any route.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 59:29[SPEAKER_00]: You're not buying into any of the passing options here outside of Niko, it's not a freaky niki.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_01]: Raiders Dolphins.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_01]: brutal day for Miami.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_01]: The Raiders win 27-2-3rd Stain.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, stories of the game, we'll just place, all right, ends up getting home via the rushing, so like, you know, he does all right.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think the Raiders have a chance to be like a decent defense.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_01]: They have a good defensive line already, a pretty good defensive line already, at least.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_01]: And they retooled their entire like linebacker group, this offseason, the Kobe Dean, Quay Walker,
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_01]: So they have a chance to be much better than they were last year, especially against the run.
- 1:00:06[SPEAKER_01]: And it showed with Devon HN.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_01]: Now again, weak ones like we're not making any sweeping takes or anything like that.
- 1:00:11[SPEAKER_01]: But this was pretty much exactly why like a lot of people were fading Devon HN.
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_01]: If you look at
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_01]: The points that people made is to why like the ADP he had, especially early in the summer, were like so aggressive.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_01]: It was, fact that Miami would just never really have game scripts that go in their favor of their running back.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_01]: And this was one of the games where like you could talk yourself into saying, Miami will have a pretty good game script here.
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_01]: Didn't happen.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_01]: Malik Willis rushes for 40 yards takes the only rushing touchdown.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_01]: Wasn't like a goal line rush.
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_01]: He took it from far out, but 14 yards out, but point is like this is going to happen with the mobile quarterback.
- 1:00:47[SPEAKER_01]: And when Malik Willis, tucks it and runs six different times last year, 2 O was never doing that.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_01]: Those six rushes.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_01]: more often than not returning into an extra two or three targets per game for Devon HN so it was like everything we were worried about as fantasy players about investing into Devon HN was like it came to fruition in week one.
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_01]: HM will have his big games obviously, you know, that's the type of player is and I'm sure he'll have very, very high ceiling games because he's so explosive, but, you know, like this is this is this is what they warn the kids about, man.
- 1:01:20[SPEAKER_01]: receiver group Caleb Douglas leads the team seven targets five catches 94 yards.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_01]: This was like what we were kind of saying most of the summers like if you're going to take a shot
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_01]: at like a random rookie receiver like I preferred Chris Bell and he wasn't the right one this week but Caleb Douglas was one of the other guys it was like all right you know see what happens in this receiver room is it Chris Bell is it Caleb Douglas Chris Bell was a guy that you know first of all he's just coming off the ACL there so gonna take a minute to get ramped up but Caleb Douglas was making place and he was all summer so he's gonna be ranked very high on people's waiver wire pickups their rankings you know those videos tomorrow
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_01]: I will be doing our waver wire video tomorrow, of course, which will go live, probably around new niche Eastern time.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_01]: And if you are a fantasy member on the site, you'll have access to our rankings, which actually are...
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_01]: not live right now.
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_01]: These are like dummy ones, but this is where they will be.
- 1:02:12[SPEAKER_01]: We have a lot of good information for you.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll have, you know, the waiver wire ranking obviously, you'll get full write ups in here, you'll get our fab suggestion whether or not we use the number one waiver wire on this player, you'll get their Vegas props for the upcoming week.
- 1:02:26[SPEAKER_01]: You'll see their next three matchups, but you can always click into the player here.
- 1:02:30[SPEAKER_01]: Look at the right up for their waiver wire section, look at the matchup data.
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_01]: You'll be able to see their player props again.
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_01]: You'll be able to see if there's any weather concerns for the upcoming matchup.
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_01]: You'll be able to see rest of season, schedule, etc.
- 1:02:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like that, everything you need to make like your better waiver wire decisions.
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_01]: You can sync your league and kind of just see who's available, who's not available, and you're league as well relative to our rankings.
- 1:02:50[SPEAKER_01]: Again, if you're a fantasy member, you have access to that as well as our sister's
- 1:02:57[SPEAKER_01]: got CO. Yeah, so Caleb Douglas will definitely be on the waiver wire rankings for this upcoming week.
- 1:03:05[SPEAKER_01]: I'm still very, very fine holding onto Chris Bell as well.
- 1:03:10[SPEAKER_01]: Raiders, Kirk Cousins 160 and 3 story here, no doubt about it.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_01]: Ash and Jenty, 23, 102 on the ground, adds 6 for 45, 2 touchdowns through that air.
- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_01]: Amazing game comes through with a 30-banger for you and PPR leagues.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_01]: Are they playing my army every week?
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_01]: Well, this happened every week.
- 1:03:27[SPEAKER_01]: No, but just good to see him out there dominating touches.
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_01]: You know, getting 29 touches off the rip.
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_01]: Great to see clearly, very fully healthy, clearly explosive.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_01]: No remnants of the, you know, the death, the deathly ankle spraying that he suffered.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_01]: in August here.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_01]: So, Gentie looks locked and loaded looks like he's going to, you know, kind of come to fruition, the chosen one that many people are riding on this off season.
- 1:03:51[SPEAKER_01]: But again, you know, harder matchups ahead will be far worse games.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_01]: No, Brock Bowers in this one had the random knee clean up feel for the for the people that drafted right before the Bowers news and then they just dropped that randomly.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_01]: That's a tough one.
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_01]: Don't know.
- 1:04:07[SPEAKER_01]: Don't know what his status really is going to be for week two or week three and other saying like, Oh, he might be ready for week two.
- 1:04:15[SPEAKER_01]: I really don't know.
- 1:04:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to make a proclamation about his health feels.
- 1:04:19[SPEAKER_01]: feels like a tough sell to me right now, but who knows?
- 1:04:22[SPEAKER_01]: And if he is ready for week two, is he going to fucking re-engine that thing again?
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_01]: Like he did last year when he tried to play through it stuff.
- 1:04:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's a tough situation for Bauer's guys.
- 1:04:30[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I do really like Michael Mayer behind him though.
- 1:04:33[SPEAKER_01]: I know he had like a relatively disappointing game.
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_01]: But seven targets did lead the team six catches 32 yards.
- 1:04:39[SPEAKER_01]: So overall not a not like a dot of a PPR day And I do think he'll continue to be like a feature part of this passing offense, especially with Kirk cousins At the helm here, you know when the Raiders are dominating gamescript like they were 37 carries like that's not going to be the norm here Only 21 Past completions 37 carries in games where they're playing tougher opponents like not going to be the case there
- 1:05:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, behind Gentian mayor like the whole lot of nothing here.
- 1:05:06[SPEAKER_01]: So no one in the Raiders receiving group.
- 1:05:08[SPEAKER_01]: Do we want to have in our freaking lineups?
- 1:05:13[SPEAKER_00]: Packers Vikings.
- 1:05:14[SPEAKER_00]: Next game.
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, holy shit.
- 1:05:18[SPEAKER_01]: The backers like,
- 1:05:20[SPEAKER_01]: Like one this game, except they lost by 17.
- 1:05:24[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to tell you there.
- 1:05:25[SPEAKER_01]: Injury concerns here, Kalimari goes kind of to a mode, gets hit really hard in the head, suffered a concussion, obviously.
- 1:05:35[SPEAKER_01]: Very real chance he misses week two.
- 1:05:40[SPEAKER_01]: There is, you know, a slight chance you still plays in week two, but I don't know.
- 1:05:43[SPEAKER_01]: They're most most most of the time when a quarterback suffers a concussion.
- 1:05:47[SPEAKER_01]: They miss one week and they return the following week.
- 1:05:49[SPEAKER_01]: Carson Wentzfield in 133.
- 1:05:51[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks to Justin Jefferson's team just being goded.
- 1:05:54[SPEAKER_01]: The kid is back eight for 92 to touchdowns.
- 1:05:56[SPEAKER_01]: This was in in in in non McCarthy non brosmer starts last year.
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_01]: Justin Jefferson average 95 yards a game and, you know, receiver touchdowns just feel very fluky from year to year.
- 1:06:08[SPEAKER_01]: They're very hard to predict.
- 1:06:10[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we're seeing him bounce back into his favor.
- 1:06:13[SPEAKER_01]: The backfield split for Jordan Mason and Aaron Jones.
- 1:06:16[SPEAKER_01]: I was pretty game before kick off.
- 1:06:19[SPEAKER_01]: I was really toying between Jordan Mason and Jacobi Myers as like who I should get into my lineup.
- 1:06:25[SPEAKER_01]: And like I posted on Twitter, 90% of the replies were like Mason, Mason, Mason, Mason.
- 1:06:29[SPEAKER_01]: I ended up going Myers and it was right, but barely.
- 1:06:32[SPEAKER_01]: It was a Myers had like 12.3 points and Mason ended up with like 11.8 points.
- 1:06:37[SPEAKER_01]: But like my hesitation at Mason was like, yeah, all the chatter this summer was about how like they're building their running game through him.
- 1:06:45[SPEAKER_01]: And then I tweeted this out pre game.
- 1:06:47[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, yeah, but I don't know, like,
- 1:06:50[SPEAKER_01]: It wouldn't surprise me to all of Aaron Jones started this game and then Aaron Jones gets goal-line work and like both of those things happened.
- 1:06:55[SPEAKER_01]: And I just don't think they're like, I just don't know how much legitimacy there is to Jordan Mason being the guy in the backfield.
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_01]: They had a drive start unlike the literally the one-yard line in Jordan Mason scored because of that, but Aaron Jones was very, very involved, neither of them catch any passes here.
- 1:07:11[SPEAKER_01]: So like,
- 1:07:13[SPEAKER_01]: To say I'm confident in Jordan Mason going forward with definitely be a lie, I think he's like a shaky flex, but you know, here's what you can do worse.
- 1:07:22[SPEAKER_01]: Packers.
- 1:07:23[SPEAKER_01]: So we had no Josh shakeups.
- 1:07:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'm beyond it.
- 1:07:26[SPEAKER_01]: So I was kind of high on March on Lloyd turned out to be a terrible choice.
- 1:07:30[SPEAKER_01]: Here's what happened in this game.
- 1:07:31[SPEAKER_01]: Jordan left through for almost 400 yards, two touchdowns.
- 1:07:34[SPEAKER_01]: Brian Flores dialed up a pressure or a blitz on almost 80% of the Packers Drop X.
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_01]: That's kind of what he's known for, right?
- 1:07:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like exotic blitzes and stuff.
- 1:07:45[SPEAKER_01]: And that was a stat that I'm relaying from Hayden, Hayden Wings over at Yahoo.
- 1:07:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so shout out to him for the for the deep dive there.
- 1:07:53[SPEAKER_01]: But why this became a problem?
- 1:07:56[SPEAKER_01]: It was it was like a bend until you break situation for the Packers
- 1:08:03[SPEAKER_01]: He had so many plays where the pressure got to him so quickly and then he was just kind of like fucking chucking your off his back foot.
- 1:08:11[SPEAKER_01]: And it worked.
- 1:08:13[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes it worked very early on for that early touchdown rip to Christian Watson where he broke down the sideline.
- 1:08:21[SPEAKER_01]: But the problem is like the packers offensive line is bad man.
- 1:08:24[SPEAKER_01]: They're bad and when you continue to dial up pressure at the rate that Brian Flores does like that's just not a match that's going to hold over well for the entirety of the game and it ends up coming down to I guess like a lot of 50 50 balls or a lot of like just gambles that you're taking and Jordan love is that's the type of player he is and you know he's good enough where a lot of the time that works out but
- 1:08:46[SPEAKER_01]: this one it didn't mainly because the floor is making some fucking boneheaded decisions down the rip, but like that's kind of the story of the game to me here.
- 1:08:54[SPEAKER_01]: Christian Watson looked awesome Matthew golden 12 targets.
- 1:08:57[SPEAKER_01]: Tucker craft, I want to say he was only on the field for like 40 percent of the route, so they are very clearly taken that like easing back into the game.
- 1:09:08[SPEAKER_01]: Most seriously, let's see, 22 routes on 42 drop-backs.
- 1:09:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so just above 50%.
- 1:09:14[SPEAKER_01]: All right, so a little bit higher than I thought, actually.
- 1:09:15[SPEAKER_01]: But still, like Tucker Kraft is a dude, he should be on the field, obviously, for nearly every single down.
- 1:09:20[SPEAKER_01]: That will get higher and higher.
- 1:09:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think he looked good though, so it was good to see.
- 1:09:24[SPEAKER_01]: Overall, the receiver room again, like, listen, if you were surprised by this was what they were telling us all summer, they were like, it's Watson and it's golden as the widersiever wanted to.
- 1:09:39[SPEAKER_01]: If you're surprised by this, you have nobody to blame but yourself.
- 1:09:42[SPEAKER_01]: So, Jane Reed, it's got to make the most of his opportunities.
- 1:09:46[SPEAKER_01]: Three for 20 there, did get seven targets.
- 1:09:47[SPEAKER_01]: So, it's not nothing, but like, there's very, very, very, very clearly a pecking order here.
- 1:09:54[SPEAKER_01]: Golden's the outside dude, six for 95, would have believed that's probably the best game of his career already, Watson, best fantasy day of his career as well.
- 1:10:03[SPEAKER_01]: So, feel really good to someone as Watson and his big money league.
- 1:10:09[SPEAKER_01]: Golden, I'd feel pretty good about this as well.
- 1:10:12[SPEAKER_01]: We'll have to see what kind of splits they end up carrying forward with this lack of success from their running backs between Marshal and Lloyd and Chris Brooks.
- 1:10:20[SPEAKER_01]: We should have Josh Jacobs' hearing, like, let me get the exact day for you.
- 1:10:28[SPEAKER_01]: I gotta say, I forgot how much these fucking live strings hurt my throat, bro.
- 1:10:31[SPEAKER_01]: Just fucking, you happen for 80 minutes straight.
- 1:10:40[SPEAKER_00]: September 10th and then he's meeting with the NFL one of the I thought I thought it was like in a week So do you have the court date already Well, and idiot, please no contest to Mr. Meiner charge is okay.
- 1:10:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think he's meeting with the NFL Wow, they had him pay a thousand dollar fine Huge
- 1:11:06[SPEAKER_01]: All right, we'll see.
- 1:11:07[SPEAKER_01]: We'll probably get worried about his suspension length.
- 1:11:09[SPEAKER_01]: I would say in the next couple weeks, I don't know if I had to guess it won't be more than six games.
- 1:11:14[SPEAKER_01]: So for now, we'll probably get a high level of passing from Jordan loving this Green Bay Packers offense.
- 1:11:26[SPEAKER_01]: Eagles and commanders.
- 1:11:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you want to talk about a sloppy game overall like it's funny because you look at jail and hurts 8.1 yards per temp 3 touchdowns looks, you know, great on paper.
- 1:11:36[SPEAKER_01]: Sake one barically 5.4 5.5 yards per carry there.
- 1:11:40[SPEAKER_01]: We just like didn't see it didn't feel smooth.
- 1:11:43[SPEAKER_01]: It didn't feel like the players that we wanted have big games for fantasy had big games.
- 1:11:57[SPEAKER_01]: He's being underrated in the fact that like everyone's really high in Smitty myself included because AJ Brown's gone but like Dallas got her also going to be a huge beneficiary of AJ Brown not being there and we saw that come to fruition in week one for 77 two touchdowns a huge fantasy day from him obviously on taping wicks.
- 1:12:15[SPEAKER_01]: All summer was kind of like the clear wide receiver to here while McCy lemon miss most of summer camp with his hamstrings rain he ends up he only catches two passes but 73 yards and kept including a 64 yard catch and he does get into the end zone as well.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_01]: To me.
- 1:12:34[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, ran a lot of routes 31 routes only two more than McCy lemon 13% target per outrun rate.
- 1:12:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I get it.
- 1:12:42[SPEAKER_01]: I get it with wicks, but like he's not someone I'm going to be prioritizing on the wire mainly because like I think at best he's the third
- 1:12:50[SPEAKER_01]: most prioritized target in the offense that's just simply not going to throw the ball a ton.
- 1:12:55[SPEAKER_01]: So like sure, I'll have some spike games like he did today, but I think we're often not.
- 1:12:58[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to put up the games for you.
- 1:13:03[SPEAKER_01]: Also just to note about both of these scenes, both these scenes implementing brand new offenses, brand new offense coordinators, brand new schemes for the very first time.
- 1:13:12[SPEAKER_01]: So I think there's a real chance, one I was not expecting much success from the commanders or guard list with this, you know, being in Philly for the first game was not expecting a good game by any stretch, the Eagles, obviously you'd like to see way more success against the Washington commanders.
- 1:13:26[SPEAKER_01]: But I will say like again, to make a sweeping judgment about teams that have brand new offensive coordinators, brand new schemes right away, like feels dramatic.
- 1:13:36[SPEAKER_01]: So
- 1:13:38[SPEAKER_01]: I would I would sit on that pause resume for a couple more weeks before we want to like, you know, ride the train off the tracks here.
- 1:13:46[SPEAKER_01]: Washington Stain.
- 1:13:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I had absolutely no hope in terrible chlorine this week.
- 1:13:51[SPEAKER_01]: I just I'm I'm worried about Terry, but I'm I was really worried about him going against Quinion this week.
- 1:13:57[SPEAKER_01]: And obviously, that was not a good match, but if you started him,
- 1:14:03[SPEAKER_01]: And open things up for Antonio Williams, man.
- 1:14:05[SPEAKER_01]: He was a guy that we really liked early on in the summer, but like he got almost no run with the first team.
- 1:14:09[SPEAKER_01]: Ends up seeing four targets, made the most of it.
- 1:14:12[SPEAKER_01]: Four for 64 caught a touchdown, digs, really strong game.
- 1:14:15[SPEAKER_01]: Nine targets, obviously, with like Terry getting locked up by Quignon.
- 1:14:18[SPEAKER_01]: Digs ended up kind of running a muck in the slot there, and that could be a really valuable role for him.
- 1:14:22[SPEAKER_01]: And if he's not like asked to run a ton of downfield routes, nine targets, more than doubled anyone else on the team.
- 1:14:28[SPEAKER_01]: Four, 55, any touchdown.
- 1:14:33[SPEAKER_01]: uh... versus the rest of the backfield so to court-cross game ret he was the dude i wanted to target in this backfield i think he looked by far in a way the best out of any of the runners in this backfield uh... sixteen for sixty three you know more than uh... more than more than both were shot away in k-tron alan combined foretouch and he did lose a fumble though or he did fumble the ball
- 1:14:57[SPEAKER_01]: And that's when K-Tron Allen kind of came on to the field at the end of the game.
- 1:15:01[SPEAKER_01]: So something to keep an eye on.
- 1:15:03[SPEAKER_01]: But JCM did get a goal-line work, scored the touchdown, 16 carries, pretty strong.
- 1:15:08[SPEAKER_01]: And Rashad White, supposed to be this like big time pass catcher, just thinks on the ground, we didn't do that.
- 1:15:12[SPEAKER_01]: But again, Jane Daniels is just not really throw the ball to running backs.
- 1:15:15[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, Rashad White always felt like a bad pick.
- 1:15:20[SPEAKER_01]: And they'll have better days ahead because they'll have better matchups ahead.
- 1:15:23[SPEAKER_01]: So Washington plays Cowboys next week.
- 1:15:26[SPEAKER_01]: See y'all just tough, but colds, giants, yeah, Niners Rams, tough, giants, Bangles, Cardinals, Titans, that's a fucking nice stretch right there.
- 1:15:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, not the easiest schedule, but like, when they're not playing at Philly, I expect better days for, to Cory, I expect better days for Terry and definitely Jayden, Jayden ended up being all right, two touchdown passes, run first fucking life, man.
- 1:15:49[SPEAKER_01]: That offensive line is, uh, yes, little, little problematic.
- 1:15:53[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to get political here, but a little problematic.
- 1:15:57[SPEAKER_01]: Next up, we got the Cardinals in the Chargers.
- 1:15:59[SPEAKER_01]: Shhh!
- 1:15:59[SPEAKER_01]: Cardinals went by 12 points, 26 to 14, knocking 97% of people out of their survivor pools here.
- 1:16:05[SPEAKER_01]: Chargers were 10 point favorites going into the game.
- 1:16:08[SPEAKER_01]: Jacobi picks up where he left off last year, despite, oh, I got a sneeze coming, come on.
- 1:16:18[UNKNOWN]: Woo!
- 1:16:19[SPEAKER_01]: Got another fucking 45 minutes energy out of me with that one.
- 1:16:23[SPEAKER_01]: Jacobi 37 pass attempts 277 in a touchdown through the air 7.5 yards per attempt.
- 1:16:28[SPEAKER_01]: Trey McBride goes crazy nine for 95 in a touchdown.
- 1:16:31[SPEAKER_01]: So those two just pick right back up or they left off last year.
- 1:16:34[SPEAKER_01]: You just actually love to see it.
- 1:16:35[SPEAKER_01]: I was worried about this game for them because I thought the charge defense is going to be good.
- 1:16:39[SPEAKER_01]: Turns out they lose Jesse Mincer and they lose their identity.
- 1:16:42[SPEAKER_01]: Not great for this defense.
- 1:16:43[SPEAKER_01]: So they're not a very talented group of players.
- 1:16:46[SPEAKER_01]: They have like a few talented guys, but overall they're not a great defense and now that they
- 1:16:52[SPEAKER_01]: as a defensive unit.
- 1:16:56[SPEAKER_01]: Michael Wilson, 7 targets, Marvin Harrison, 3 targets, 1 catch 33 yards.
- 1:17:01[SPEAKER_01]: This terrified me all summer.
- 1:17:02[SPEAKER_01]: I really wanted 0 piece of Marvin Harrison and like this was why.
- 1:17:06[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone kept citing the fact that when Marvin Harrison returned last year, he got all the targets while Michael Wilson, you know, kind of
- 1:17:14[SPEAKER_01]: fell back to a secondary role to me that never felt like a talent thing that felt like uh uh we we need to force the issue with Marvin Harrison Jr. like he's our top five pick.
- 1:17:24[SPEAKER_01]: We need to get that going again and now we have a brand new coach and a brand new officer coordinator and a brand new scheme being implemented here and I'm not saying that my goal isn't going to out target Marvin Harrison every single week but I'm not not saying that
- 1:17:43[SPEAKER_01]: And I will say, man, like, as good as the first week, kind of felt for Arizona, they've got a schedule from fucking hell.
- 1:17:52[SPEAKER_01]: See y'all next week at 49ers the week after that.
- 1:17:56[SPEAKER_01]: Giants nice little lead up, but after that, it's Lions Rams Broncos Cowboys, Seeawks Rams Chiefs.
- 1:18:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, tough one.
- 1:18:04[SPEAKER_01]: But I guess, you know what, like, Giants Lions, like, Lions are not a defensive scared of Cowboys and not a defensive scared of.
- 1:18:09[SPEAKER_01]: They're just going to get Pete.
- 1:18:11[SPEAKER_01]: They're
- 1:18:13[SPEAKER_00]: like a bad step, kid, man.
- 1:18:16[SPEAKER_00]: Shut all my stepdad.
- 1:18:17[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how to stepdad.
- 1:18:20[SPEAKER_00]: I've never had a stepdad.
- 1:18:23[SPEAKER_01]: Never had a real daddy either, but we're not talking.
- 1:18:25[SPEAKER_01]: We're not here to the therapist.
- 1:18:29[SPEAKER_01]: Talk about therapeutic things.
- 1:18:31[SPEAKER_01]: Clink Kubiak said he now considers tight end rock powers to be day to day after last week's Maniscus trim.
- 1:18:37[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see about that.
- 1:18:38[SPEAKER_01]: Clint.
- 1:18:43[SPEAKER_01]: Um, what else going on?
- 1:18:46[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 1:18:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:18:46[SPEAKER_01]: So backfield backfield.
- 1:18:48[SPEAKER_01]: Here are my loves first game as a rookie.
- 1:18:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:18:51[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, listen, he split touches drastically with Tyler out of your I can't imagine anyone was expecting anything other than that coming off of the high ankle sprain.
- 1:19:00[SPEAKER_01]: This is about what I expected this split to be.
- 1:19:02[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe a little bit more in favor of like 50, 50, but it's going to be fine.
- 1:19:06[SPEAKER_01]: Jeremiah love going forward by like week four onwards.
- 1:19:09[SPEAKER_01]: After week four, it's going to be the Jeremiah love show with Tyler earlier getting, he'll be like, I don't know, like Blake corn maybe where it's like love gets 13 carries a game.
- 1:19:18[SPEAKER_01]: As your gets nine, but love probably gets all the past catching work.
- 1:19:22[SPEAKER_01]: And again, in offense, it's going to throw the ball 40 times.
- 1:19:24[SPEAKER_01]: and probably gets the majority of the whole artwork.
- 1:19:26[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, week one, fine.
- 1:19:28[SPEAKER_01]: You saved you if you had him in your lineup because he scored a touchdown, but he's going to get better and better and better as the week progresses.
- 1:19:33[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not worried about this split being like sticky all throughout the year.
- 1:19:39[SPEAKER_01]: What I am worried about is this fucking charger's offense.
- 1:19:41[SPEAKER_01]: They looked horrendous.
- 1:19:43[SPEAKER_01]: Every part of this team looked horrendous.
- 1:19:44[SPEAKER_01]: They looked clunky.
- 1:19:46[SPEAKER_01]: I will say, lad Maconkey was on fire to start the game.
- 1:19:49[SPEAKER_01]: Seven targets, five catches 80 to yards, touchdown.
- 1:19:52[SPEAKER_01]: He ends up getting hurt.
- 1:19:53[SPEAKER_01]: He takes a big shot over the middle.
- 1:19:56[SPEAKER_01]: They said it's a chest injury, which probably points towards it being a rib injury.
- 1:20:01[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, don't have any sort of like concrete information or update.
- 1:20:05[SPEAKER_01]: I believe until we get scans or an MRI media searches name on tweeter real quick.
- 1:20:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:20:34[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we just don't really have a, uh, normally having updates could be a root contusion could be a pain management thing could be a refresher like we just don't know right now.
- 1:20:44[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, it's a huge hit to the charge is offensive.
- 1:20:48[SPEAKER_01]: He's gone.
- 1:20:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like who's the next guy up?
- 1:20:50[SPEAKER_01]: QJ was terrible in this game, but you have to think he is kind of the next guy up.
- 1:20:53[SPEAKER_01]: Tray Harris played a ton of snap.
- 1:20:56[SPEAKER_01]: So I think he ran as many routes as Quint Johnson did in this one.
- 1:21:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, 27 APs, once LAD McConkey left, and Treas actually had a higher target per outrun rates.
- 1:21:11[SPEAKER_01]: Um, running short routes, kind of like a very low ADOT for these types of players, NAID out of eight for Treas and just the 11 for Coin Johnson Shadow, tomorrow or Darius Davis though, 54 ADOT, so I can nightmare, blunt rotation, um.
- 1:21:29[SPEAKER_01]: So, tight ends get involved in Joku, 5 for 58, or on to Gatsin, 2 for 32.
- 1:21:35[SPEAKER_01]: I look more into Joku here.
- 1:21:37[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't realize he had such a strong statline.
- 1:21:39[SPEAKER_01]: Ran 17 routes, Charlie Colar, Ran 12, Gatsin, Ran 5.
- 1:21:44[SPEAKER_01]: Joku, maybe a player this year, especially if Vlad is out.
- 1:21:47[SPEAKER_01]: So let's keep her eye on that one.
- 1:21:48[SPEAKER_01]: Let's put him into the wave of a wire rankings this week.
- 1:21:51[SPEAKER_01]: Backfield, for the charge of the marin, haven't been does get in.
- 1:21:53[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't look good in this game.
- 1:21:54[SPEAKER_01]: I will say that, didn't get a single target in this one either.
- 1:21:56[SPEAKER_01]: 12 or 43 on the ground.
- 1:21:59[SPEAKER_01]: Um, you know, again, don't want to overreact, but after all the positive reports, I'm like my Daniel, this, uh, this summer, and then going against the Cardinals, who were like one of the worst defenses in the NFL last year, like again, don't want to overreact, but like, something's got to give here.
- 1:22:18[SPEAKER_01]: I had a really intrusive thought that I put on camera, right before we kicked off our live
- 1:22:29[SPEAKER_01]: too.
- 1:22:29[SPEAKER_01]: So, and it was about why I think the chargers could possibly struggle this year.
- 1:22:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's like something I don't want to put on record yet.
- 1:22:36[SPEAKER_01]: Like it is somewhere out there on on camera, but it wasn't like in a, you know, right to your face kind of way.
- 1:22:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna, I'm gonna wait another three weeks to let things flatten out before I actually
- 1:22:52[SPEAKER_01]: before I actually like come out and say why I think the charge is struggling if they do end up struggling over the next few weeks.
- 1:22:58[SPEAKER_01]: They have a really good game next week and then their schedule gets fucking brutal.
- 1:23:02[SPEAKER_01]: So they get the Cardinals, they get the Raiders next week, but then they get the Bill Seahawks Broncos Chiefs Rams, Texans Ravens.
- 1:23:07[SPEAKER_01]: Like I don't think you could draw up a more difficult 16 schedule if you tried.
- 1:23:16[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I mean, if they don't beat the Raiders
- 1:23:22[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, the interior of their offensive line looked like a problem.
- 1:23:25[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they get their tackles back, which is great.
- 1:23:28[SPEAKER_01]: But then they sign Tyler Beatash who then they just lost for the season and their interior was not good.
- 1:23:34[SPEAKER_01]: So that looks like it might be a problem once again, but you bring in a guy like Mike McDonald's because like he's typically very good at scheming uprun games that are successful without having a super strong offensive line.
- 1:23:47[SPEAKER_01]: So again, don't want to react but like it's not like the charges are playing Philly or Houston or Denver like they were playing the Cardinal so a little bit worrisome.
- 1:23:58[SPEAKER_01]: Last game of Sunday.
- 1:24:01[SPEAKER_01]: The Giants versus the Cowboys.
- 1:24:03[SPEAKER_01]: The Giants take them down 28, 20 man.
- 1:24:06[SPEAKER_01]: Shout out New York.
- 1:24:07[SPEAKER_01]: Shout out both New York teams starting one or no.
- 1:24:09[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know when the last time that shit happened was, but it had to be minimum a decade ago.
- 1:24:14[SPEAKER_01]: Jackson Dart was fucking awesome in this one.
- 1:24:16[SPEAKER_01]: 233 touchdowns.
- 1:24:17[SPEAKER_01]: Camp Skataboo was awesome in this one.
- 1:24:19[SPEAKER_01]: 18 for 81 in the touchdown on the ground.
- 1:24:22[SPEAKER_01]: Get to bed for fantasy.
- 1:24:23[SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't catch a single pass, which is kind of fucking annoying, man.
- 1:24:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like, come on now, David Singletaria here, catching four passes, and a touchdown, um, dart was awesome.
- 1:24:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think my biggest takeaway is that the Dallas Cowboys defense, like,
- 1:24:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like, they were supposed to do what the Cincinnati bangles did, where they were like completely revamped and should look a lot better immediately.
- 1:24:44[SPEAKER_01]: They just did it.
- 1:24:45[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying they won't get better, but it's very clear that Dallas Cowboys were not a good defense on the field last night.
- 1:24:51[SPEAKER_01]: They did not put a good product on the field last night.
- 1:24:53[SPEAKER_01]: And Jackson Dart looked great, looked poised, made the right throws, was floating them up and down the fucking zones.
- 1:25:00[SPEAKER_01]: Like Dart looked awesome.
- 1:25:02[SPEAKER_01]: Isaiah likely looked awesome.
- 1:25:03[SPEAKER_01]: It was awesome that we got Malik neighbors out there clearly not a hundred percent like clearly We're lacking a little bit of that Malik neighbors kind of swag or explosiveness, but led the team at targets with nine six or 69 like clearly going to be pretty good pretty fucking fast I do wonder how many routes he ended up running in this one
- 1:25:25[SPEAKER_01]: 24 routes.
- 1:25:25[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:25:26[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, not surprising.
- 1:25:27[SPEAKER_01]: 26 routes for Darn on Mooney, 21 for Malachi fields.
- 1:25:30[SPEAKER_01]: Target per route run though.
- 1:25:32[SPEAKER_01]: 38% like once Malik is, I mean, once he's running, you know, once he's running a route on every dropback.
- 1:25:38[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, 29 routes, 29 dropbacks for Jackson, Dark 24 routes is pretty heavy.
- 1:25:43[SPEAKER_01]: But once he's up in the 29 at a 29 range,
- 1:25:46[SPEAKER_01]: He's probably still going to be sitting around 35 to 38% of the target for outrun rate.
- 1:25:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like, molyks are going to go fucking bonkers this year once he gets healthy.
- 1:25:53[SPEAKER_01]: So it might be a little bit of a slow start, but even even in the slow start like this, like.
- 1:25:57[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of a nice floor, six for 69.
- 1:25:59[SPEAKER_01]: Isaiah likely was awesome.
- 1:26:01[SPEAKER_01]: Again, this is one I don't wanna over react to fully because the Dallas Cowboys defense might just be pretty fucking bad.
- 1:26:09[SPEAKER_01]: Camp Skat about, let's look at this snap rates though.
- 1:26:12[SPEAKER_01]: 61% for Skat, 37% for Devon Singletary.
- 1:26:15[SPEAKER_01]: He took almost all of the rushing work, split routes pretty evenly though, 41% to 53%.
- 1:26:21[SPEAKER_01]: Just didn't get the targets, I think that's just, a one game sample size and all over react
- 1:26:28[SPEAKER_01]: Four targets while cam almost ran as many routes as he did.
- 1:26:32[SPEAKER_01]: That could easily flip next week.
- 1:26:33[SPEAKER_01]: So not overly concerned, but love to see the short amount of distance was all cam.
- 1:26:37[SPEAKER_01]: Inside the five was all cam.
- 1:26:39[SPEAKER_01]: Two minute drill you do wish.
- 1:26:40[SPEAKER_01]: It was a little bit more in favor of cam.
- 1:26:41[SPEAKER_01]: He's a player that could play that way, but he's just like they're battering ram, and and nausea Harris, a couple of other notes on the backfield.
- 1:26:48[SPEAKER_01]: Tara and Tracy went in, like out one snap, fumble the ball.
- 1:26:50[SPEAKER_01]: He's done with New York, nausea Harris.
- 1:26:53[SPEAKER_01]: Inactive for this one, I do think he likely ends up being active week two, probably week three at the latest.
- 1:27:07[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll add possibly another wrinkle into this backfield, but overly optimistic for Cam.
- 1:27:12[SPEAKER_01]: I thought he looked great and you know, just fun to see him on the field there.
- 1:27:17[SPEAKER_01]: Flip side of thing for the Cowboys.
- 1:27:18[SPEAKER_01]: No real takeaways.
- 1:27:19[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, bad game from Dak, obviously, which, which we saw a little bit of a better game out here for them.
- 1:27:24[SPEAKER_01]: They are missing what the fuck's his name, Tyler Smith or one of their stud offensive linemen for, uh, that's not Tyler.
- 1:27:31[SPEAKER_01]: Is it Tyler Smith?
- 1:27:33[SPEAKER_01]: Pushmith is is the guard for the chiefs.
- 1:27:36[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why it's the vaiding me right now.
- 1:27:38[SPEAKER_01]: They lost one of their best offensive linemen.
- 1:27:39[SPEAKER_01]: It's like right for the season started for the next like six weeks or eight weeks.
- 1:27:42[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and I are so maybe that played a role, but Juventilium's bell cow 17 touches ends of getting into the end zone twice.
- 1:27:49[SPEAKER_01]: Pretty predictable here.
- 1:27:52[SPEAKER_01]: receivers, CD-8 targets five for 44 in a touchdown, gets home via fantasy, but they just didn't have like the Giants dominated game script here.
- 1:27:59[SPEAKER_01]: I believe the Cowboys had two drives, the entire second half, like just a beautifully executed game by the New York Giants.
- 1:28:08[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, so just not much you could really do for the Cowboys like you had to take advantage of their of the limited opportunities they had in George Pickins did not do.
- 1:28:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not worried about him.
- 1:28:17[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, but he had to get a couple plays where it's just like probably shouldn't make the play.
- 1:28:21[SPEAKER_01]: He sometimes he just gets like it's annoying owning him like it's it was awesome having him last year in my big league, but it got kind of annoying because there would be like times where.
- 1:28:31[SPEAKER_01]: He could do shit that nobody else could do, but then he just like, he's like, nah, I don't feel like really doing, I don't feel like catching this ball that's right here for me.
- 1:28:40[SPEAKER_01]: I just feel like kind of being lazy right now, like fuck it, just just like hit me next time, you know?
- 1:28:45[SPEAKER_01]: And it'll do that and it'll just be like drops, like go through his hands and it's just kind of frustrating.
- 1:28:48[SPEAKER_01]: Like third, there's still tough plays out there, obviously.
- 1:28:50[SPEAKER_01]: Again, trying to drop them, but...
- 1:28:52[SPEAKER_01]: That's that's kind of the George pick and show.
- 1:28:54[SPEAKER_01]: So not overly concerned about anyone on Dallas here.
- 1:28:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's still very, very targeted between, you know, you start the act, start Javante, start CD start George and move off.
- 1:29:05[SPEAKER_01]: likely though.
- 1:29:05[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this is this is one of the stories of the game for sure.
- 1:29:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's just the fact that like all summer long everyone was saying like least, you know, the wider silver to in this offense.
- 1:29:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's likely it's likely it's likely and then he goes out and just fucking balls.
- 1:29:18[SPEAKER_01]: So good to see me.
- 1:29:20[SPEAKER_01]: Good to see me.
- 1:29:22[SPEAKER_01]: All right, 2000 people in here.
