Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hi everybody, it's Trista and Deanna. We are here with
- 0:09Speaker 2: the Almost Famous OG podcast and here to talk about
- 0:13Speaker 2: the breaking news that is shocking, to say the least.
- 0:20Speaker 2: I actually texted Dianna and told her about what was happening,
- 0:25Speaker 2: and you were like, what you're kidding, right? Or no,
- 0:28Speaker 2: you're kidding and literally.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Driving down the five.
- 0:31Speaker 4: Trista, I was trying to do adult things when you
- 0:35Speaker 4: texted me. I was kind of shocked because you and
- 0:36Speaker 4: I have already talked about this week. We were supposed
- 0:39Speaker 4: to go to the premiere on Sunday.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Yeah, so we'll catch you all up. The Bachelorette, if
- 0:43Speaker 2: you haven't heard already, which it is all over everywhere,
- 0:47Speaker 2: has been canceled for the coming season. It was supposed
- 0:50Speaker 2: to start airing on Sunday and ABC has made a
- 0:56Speaker 2: decision to cancel this season. Has never happened, honestly, This
- 1:02Speaker 2: talk has been happening since the allegations came out about
- 1:08Speaker 2: kind of second domestic violence incident. This just recently that
- 1:12Speaker 2: has come out, and I felt like there was no
- 1:17Speaker 2: way they would cancel it because they've just put too
- 1:22Speaker 2: much energy, too much money. There's advertisers, there's all kinds
- 1:26Speaker 2: of back you know, behind the scenes stuff that goes
- 1:30Speaker 2: into making a television show. So I thought for sure
- 1:33Speaker 2: it wouldn't be canceled until the video came out.
- 1:36Speaker 4: I was with you, Trista, until I recorded with our
- 1:38Speaker 4: producer Heather the other night, and her insight, even though
- 1:42Speaker 4: you and I know the industry well, her insight into
- 1:45Speaker 4: that really helped me.
- 1:47Speaker 3: And she was right.
- 1:47Speaker 4: Once we started seeing advertisers pull out, it's at the
- 1:51Speaker 4: end of the day, it's money. It's money, and I
- 1:54Speaker 4: personally have such a hard time with that because I
- 1:56Speaker 4: want to think, oh, these people are my friends, the
- 1:58Speaker 4: producers are my friends. We've already film did We've already
- 2:00Speaker 4: put all this effort and this money into it. But
- 2:02Speaker 4: Heather was right, once you start seeing those things disappear,
- 2:06Speaker 4: it's a trickle effect. Because she pointed out that it
- 2:09Speaker 4: affects their other shows, and she called it, she said,
- 2:13Speaker 4: so much will be told within the next twenty four
- 2:15Speaker 4: to forty eight hours if more advertisers pull out.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, and even Ryan who doesn't watch the
- 2:22Speaker 2: show and his feed is not full of bachelorette stuff
- 2:26Speaker 2: like mine is. He said, Well, I just heard Cinnabon
- 2:30Speaker 2: pulled advertising from the show, and I'm like, I feel
- 2:33Speaker 2: like that's probably a brand deal with her. But yes,
- 2:37Speaker 2: you're right, I don't know if that was the only advertiser.
- 2:39Speaker 2: I think at this point, more advertisers have pulled. And
- 2:43Speaker 2: then Jimmy Fallon's show canceled her as a guest last night.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I actually heard that she didn't show or she didn't come,
- 2:50Speaker 2: so who knows. I assume they, you know, decided against
- 2:55Speaker 2: having her on. So, yes, we are confirmed that Jimmy
- 2:59Speaker 2: Foul Show canceled her appearance last night with them, and
- 3:04Speaker 2: I just as we said in our text, my heart,
- 3:09Speaker 2: just my heart goes out to first of all, the
- 3:13Speaker 2: children involved in this relationship. Second of all, honestly to
- 3:19Speaker 2: her because and listen, I've seen the video. I there
- 3:27Speaker 2: is no getting around the fact that she threw a
- 3:30Speaker 2: chair and there was a child pressurest.
- 3:33Speaker 4: I'm sorry to interrupt you. Specifically, this video was the
- 3:36Speaker 4: one from two years ago. This is not the mostion.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Yes, so this video is from twenty twenty three, and
- 3:45Speaker 2: I just I guess because he was the one who
- 3:51Speaker 2: was taking the video. Okay, she of course did not
- 3:54Speaker 2: release this video. There's no way she would have released
- 3:57Speaker 2: this video with the Bachelorette starting on Sunday, right. So
- 4:02Speaker 2: the fact that the video was released the week of
- 4:06Speaker 2: her premiere from two or three years ago, well, let
- 4:11Speaker 2: me tell you, really fishy and sketchy to me, and
- 4:14Speaker 2: does not it gives me the ick, you know what
- 4:16Speaker 2: I mean?
- 4:17Speaker 4: Thinking from personal experience, Yeah, from a situation that I
- 4:21Speaker 4: was involved in, and there was video footage that was
- 4:25Speaker 4: turned over to police, the DA and the courts to
- 4:29Speaker 4: look at. So once that happens, the video can then
- 4:33Speaker 4: be public knowledge once it reaches that part. So I
- 4:37Speaker 4: don't know her court case. I won't pretend to be
- 4:39Speaker 4: a lawyer.
- 4:40Speaker 3: I am not.
- 4:40Speaker 4: I am speaking for my personal experience. If that happened,
- 4:44Speaker 4: she was charged with domestic violence. I'm sure the video
- 4:47Speaker 4: was used as proof of that. Therefore, it can at
- 4:50Speaker 4: any point in time be dug up and put out
- 4:52Speaker 4: for public knowledge. Like to me, that's just gross and
- 4:55Speaker 4: it's really really sad.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know.
- 4:58Speaker 4: That he had.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Why wouldn't it add Why wouldn't they have aired it before?
- 5:03Speaker 2: Now do you know what I mean? Like, I just
- 5:05Speaker 2: the timing just is gross to me. It just is
- 5:09Speaker 2: a gross So how are you feeling with your personal experience?
- 5:16Speaker 3: You know what? I'm okay?
- 5:18Speaker 4: I was, you know, when Heather and I recorded the
- 5:20Speaker 4: other day, after you and I recorded a podcast, I
- 5:22Speaker 4: told her that I was. I was all up in
- 5:25Speaker 4: my feels about it because it just brings up some
- 5:29Speaker 4: personal issues for me. And I think at the end
- 5:32Speaker 4: of the day, we're looking at a situation like, this
- 5:34Speaker 4: is this girl's life. It is messy and it is
- 5:37Speaker 4: dirty right now, and my hope what happens. And I
- 5:41Speaker 4: said this to Heather. The rope has gotten long enough
- 5:43Speaker 4: and she is being yanked back to her knees. And
- 5:45Speaker 4: I hope that she gets help. I hope that he
- 5:47Speaker 4: does too. But so much as being published about her
- 5:50Speaker 4: right now, which which I know feels really, really terrible,
- 5:54Speaker 4: But she gets a pivotal point right now that she
- 5:57Speaker 4: can she can have some humility, I hope, yeah, some
- 6:02Speaker 4: responsibility and seek help and seek help. I haven't watched
- 6:08Speaker 4: the video. I can't bring myself to watch the video.
- 6:10Speaker 4: I don't really want to. I don't want that to
- 6:12Speaker 4: be the image that I'm stuck with. But anybody given
- 6:16Speaker 4: the toxic situation that she's in and that she has
- 6:18Speaker 4: grown up in, and what she's experiencing now in this moment,
- 6:21Speaker 4: I hope that she chooses to seek some mental health
- 6:24Speaker 4: for herself, and whatever that looks like.
- 6:26Speaker 3: If it's addiction, if it's.
- 6:31Speaker 4: Depression, if it's if it's anger management, no matter what
- 6:34Speaker 4: it is, that's what I hope that she seeks in
- 6:37Speaker 4: this moment. If this has to be the bottom, then
- 6:41Speaker 4: so be it. I believe that that's what the Lord does.
- 6:44Speaker 4: He brings you to the bottom so that you can
- 6:46Speaker 4: help be built up from there. And she has a
- 6:48Speaker 4: choice right now, a pivotal moment that she could seek help.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I'm going to read the article that TMZ put out.
- 7:05Speaker 2: It says The Bachelorette canceled on it exclusive The Bachelorette
- 7:10Speaker 2: Taylor Taylor Frankie Paul's season canceled. This was put out
- 7:14Speaker 2: at twelve forty pm today. TMZ has learned ABC is
- 7:17Speaker 2: pulling the plug on Taylor Frankie Paul's season of the
- 7:19Speaker 2: Bachelorette amid fresh claims of domestic abuse in the twenty
- 7:23Speaker 2: twenty three video of her fighting with her baby daddy.
- 7:26Speaker 2: A Disney Entertainment spokesperson tells US quote, in light of
- 7:30Speaker 2: the newly released video just surface today, we have made
- 7:33Speaker 2: the decision to not move forward with the new season
- 7:36Speaker 2: of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is
- 7:38Speaker 2: on the supporting the family. The network dropped the hammer
- 7:42Speaker 2: Thursday on the upcoming season of the reality TV dating show,
- 7:45Speaker 2: only hours after TMZ published video of Taylor's brutal twenty
- 7:50Speaker 2: three fight with Dakota Mortinson. A source connected to The
- 7:53Speaker 2: Bachelorette tells US no one at ABC had seen the
- 7:55Speaker 2: video before TMZ posted it Thursday morning. I'm I'm shocked
- 8:01Speaker 2: to learn that this is the first time that they've
- 8:03Speaker 2: seen the video, because you and I both know that
- 8:06Speaker 2: when you are the lead, I don't care if you're
- 8:08Speaker 2: famous or not. When you are the lead, there is
- 8:13Speaker 2: so much that goes in to checking and triple checking
- 8:18Speaker 2: and making sure that you are mentally ready, that you're
- 8:22Speaker 2: physically ready, like they do sexual transmitted disease testing, and
- 8:29Speaker 2: like I mean, the thing that you fill out like
- 8:33Speaker 2: for mental health and you speak to a psychologist, like
- 8:35Speaker 2: all of these things. I am shocked that if they
- 8:39Speaker 2: knew that she went to jail for her domestic violence
- 8:47Speaker 2: incident back in twenty three and they didn't know about
- 8:50Speaker 2: this video. I'm shocked that they didn't know about this video.
- 8:54Speaker 2: I think they did or not, but.
- 8:57Speaker 3: I think it's two things.
- 8:58Speaker 4: They ei their cut corners because they were so desperate
- 9:00Speaker 4: to revive the show and get numbers. Because at the
- 9:03Speaker 4: end of the day, you and I both know that
- 9:04Speaker 4: that's what it's about, making money. So they either cut
- 9:08Speaker 4: corners on that or they didn't care. Trista, they didn't care.
- 9:12Speaker 4: You can watch The Mormon Wives on Hulu and you
- 9:16Speaker 4: can see the mess unfold there.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Yeah, they cared about numbers and hopefully reviving a television
- 9:24Speaker 4: show at all costs.
- 9:26Speaker 3: That's what I think.
- 9:28Speaker 4: And that's not because now we've watched somebody struggle with
- 9:30Speaker 4: their mental health. She's been really open about it. I
- 9:32Speaker 4: don't know if you've seen some of the some of
- 9:35Speaker 4: the precedents that she did this week. She sounds she
- 9:39Speaker 4: sounds really bad.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Little Yes, she sounds like puny.
- 9:42Speaker 4: She's showing up for something because she's being told to
- 9:45Speaker 4: when she really needs to be at home working on
- 9:47Speaker 4: herself and her life and her kids and her own
- 9:50Speaker 4: emotional well being. And she's contractually supposed to do these things,
- 9:54Speaker 4: and what show up like she's got it all together.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Her life is falling apart before America. We're seeing the headlines,
- 10:01Speaker 4: you know, Like, what I'm.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Most worried about is I hate the hatred we all know.
- 10:09Speaker 2: You know, I didn't have social media. You didn't have
- 10:11Speaker 2: social media, but we had message boards and people come
- 10:15Speaker 2: out of the woodwork and tell you to kill yourself
- 10:17Speaker 2: and tell you that you're a piece of trash and
- 10:19Speaker 2: tell you like all the things. And I cannot imagine
- 10:24Speaker 2: the hate that she's getting, and I don't like it.
- 10:26Speaker 2: I feel like she's got enough on our plates. So
- 10:30Speaker 2: I really hope that the people who are surrounding her
- 10:35Speaker 2: that they are that she does not have her phone
- 10:39Speaker 2: and she cannot look at any of that stuff, and
- 10:42Speaker 2: she is not being told all of these things that
- 10:45Speaker 2: I guarantee trolls are telling.
- 10:47Speaker 4: You know what, I would have to say that when
- 10:48Speaker 4: I was going through a difficult time, I stayed off
- 10:50Speaker 4: of social media.
- 10:53Speaker 3: I had to.
- 10:54Speaker 4: Every time I turned around, there was a new article posted,
- 10:56Speaker 4: there was a new link to something.
- 10:57Speaker 3: A sweekly drove my name into the Philip.
- 10:59Speaker 4: And Ground and for everything that happened, and it was
- 11:01Speaker 4: really unhealthy for me to see those things. So I hope,
- 11:04Speaker 4: I hope that she is aware withal and if she doesn't,
- 11:07Speaker 4: the people around her are telling to do so, to
- 11:09Speaker 4: just stay off of it, to just stay off of it.
- 11:11Speaker 4: There's really nothing she can do right now to save face,
- 11:14Speaker 4: not that she needs to, but you know, her driving
- 11:17Speaker 4: force needs to be her emotional well being, her children.
- 11:20Speaker 4: You know, I'm sure there's a legal issue here, so
- 11:23Speaker 4: she probably needs to be really mum because anything that
- 11:27Speaker 4: she says and does can be used against her in
- 11:29Speaker 4: the court of law. Social media plays a part in that.
- 11:32Speaker 4: So if she does get to have to go to
- 11:35Speaker 4: court or convicted of anything, they will use all of this.
- 11:38Speaker 4: They'll use her social media, they'll use her posts, they'll
- 11:40Speaker 4: use anything, and they'll use it against her.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Yeah, so more of the article says. The article goes
- 11:48Speaker 2: on to say, as we first reported, Taylor and Dakota
- 11:51Speaker 2: have been ordered to undergo psych exams amid a fresh
- 11:55Speaker 2: batch of spassal abuse claims, and the Utah Division of
- 11:58Speaker 2: Children and Family Services and is investigating ongoing allegations of
- 12:02Speaker 2: violence between them. So we know that Child and Family Services,
- 12:08Speaker 2: you and I talked about that.
- 12:09Speaker 4: The other day, though we knew that was going to
- 12:11Speaker 4: happen because a child is involved. Anytime that happens, anytime
- 12:15Speaker 4: police are called and a child is involved, DCFS is
- 12:19Speaker 4: called an open investigation is made because a child, an
- 12:23Speaker 4: underage child, is involved in a situation like that. So
- 12:26Speaker 4: that's going to happen. It's really really scary. But they're
- 12:30Speaker 4: doing it to protect a child, for.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Sure, as they should, as they need to. I just
- 12:37Speaker 2: I think that, like you were saying, there's definitely an
- 12:40Speaker 2: ongoing investigation, and I think that she can't speak about
- 12:43Speaker 2: a lot of it. He shouldn't be allowed to speak
- 12:46Speaker 2: about any of it. It's just it drives me crazy.
- 12:49Speaker 2: I do not hold him in the highest regard for
- 12:54Speaker 2: what it seems like is a smear campaign against her
- 12:58Speaker 2: currently because everything is from him, like pictures of his
- 13:02Speaker 2: phone and how she called him you know however many times,
- 13:05Speaker 2: and you know all of that is coming from him,
- 13:08Speaker 2: And I just don't know.
- 13:08Speaker 4: What you hope is that at this point they can
- 13:11Speaker 4: act like adults, But it's going to become and hopefully
- 13:15Speaker 4: not right. I can hope it's not, but it's going
- 13:17Speaker 4: to become. He said, she said, that's the way this works,
- 13:21Speaker 4: and it's just it's so unfortunate because the truth of
- 13:24Speaker 4: the matter is is there's his side, her side, and
- 13:25Speaker 4: then there's the truth. And in any situation, especially with
- 13:28Speaker 4: a traumatic one like something like this, we all remember
- 13:31Speaker 4: things differently. We all remember things differently. In my own situation,
- 13:35Speaker 4: I remember things very differently than how they were told
- 13:40Speaker 4: from other parties. So that's how it's going to be
- 13:43Speaker 4: for her too, And unfortunately, this is going to look
- 13:46Speaker 4: like a really long road for her as well. And
- 13:49Speaker 4: I also question just the what's going to happen to
- 13:53Speaker 4: the bachelor and the bachelorette. I don't see them surviving this.
- 13:56Speaker 4: I do know from what we were told that this
- 13:59Speaker 4: was a last ditch effort to keep the show alive,
- 14:03Speaker 4: and I don't know that they can survive this.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Trista, I'm wondering the same thing. And it's so sad.
- 14:19Speaker 4: I was doing this with Heather the other night because
- 14:21Speaker 4: I don't like endings.
- 14:23Speaker 3: I don't like endings at all.
- 14:24Speaker 4: And you know, I imagine you feel significantly more attached
- 14:29Speaker 4: given your whole life has surrounded the show. You were
- 14:32Speaker 4: the first bachelorette, you have Ryan and your kids and
- 14:35Speaker 4: this beautiful life. But you know, I said the same
- 14:38Speaker 4: thing eighteen years ago, what a life this has created
- 14:42Speaker 4: for me and my kids and the longevity of it
- 14:46Speaker 4: and being attached to it, and the good memories that
- 14:49Speaker 4: I have and the friendships and the bonds and look
- 14:52Speaker 4: at what we did in November filming this special and
- 14:54Speaker 4: how fun that was for us all to be together.
- 14:56Speaker 3: I'd have done it for free, you know what I.
- 14:58Speaker 4: Mean, like just being together with you women and the
- 15:02Speaker 4: bond that we have and for this to be for
- 15:05Speaker 4: this to be done like it's sad.
- 15:07Speaker 3: I don't.
- 15:08Speaker 4: You must feel stronger about it than I do. Maybe
- 15:13Speaker 4: you haven't even thought what words to put to it.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Yes, it's like literally, I'm just kind of like if
- 15:19Speaker 2: that in this listen, we're not saying that that's the case,
- 15:22Speaker 2: but because they're canceling that, TRUSTO. I have never done
- 15:26Speaker 2: that before.
- 15:27Speaker 3: No, it doesn't look good.
- 15:29Speaker 2: It has been happened, I know, I know, but no
- 15:31Speaker 2: matter what has happened in anyone's life before, it has happened,
- 15:36Speaker 2: and obviously nothing has happened to this extent. But just
- 15:41Speaker 2: oh gosh, it just breaks my heart because of all
- 15:44Speaker 2: those connections and because of the memories. But it's also
- 15:47Speaker 2: weird because we filmed the reunion we had that that
- 15:52Speaker 2: was kind of like that if you now happy that
- 15:55Speaker 2: to the future, if you look to the future and
- 15:58Speaker 2: you say, and the show ended, say after this, you know,
- 16:03Speaker 2: we're never going to get it back, and we go
- 16:05Speaker 2: five years down the road and we're going to be saying, well,
- 16:07Speaker 2: at least we got that reunion. So I feel like
- 16:09Speaker 2: that's weird that the reunion was aired before any of
- 16:13Speaker 2: this came out, and then Ryan and I are this
- 16:17Speaker 2: week on the cover of People magazine.
- 16:19Speaker 3: I saw that about how freaking Cuty Love.
- 16:23Speaker 2: So it's weird, Like it's like all of these things
- 16:26Speaker 2: are happening right before this season to like culminate all
- 16:30Speaker 2: the goodness, and then it gets taken away. So I
- 16:33Speaker 2: feel like, you know, signs are pointing towards it not
- 16:38Speaker 2: surviving this. I'm going to hope that it does because
- 16:42Speaker 2: it's just been such a blessing in my life, but
- 16:46Speaker 2: I feel like all signs are pointing in that direction.
- 16:49Speaker 4: I know it's sad, Yeah, it's sad, And I think
- 16:52Speaker 4: this is the thing about you know, it's not even
- 16:54Speaker 4: so much as like endings if we can prepare for them.
- 16:57Speaker 3: So this feels like I've got a lots of the man,
- 17:02Speaker 3: I've got lots of abandonment issues, you know what I mean.
- 17:04Speaker 4: So it's the it's the like the surprise.
- 17:08Speaker 3: Of it all, you know what I mean.
- 17:09Speaker 4: We're not prepared for this. We were prepared for another season.
- 17:12Speaker 4: We get to film a fun episode surrounding it, and
- 17:15Speaker 4: now here with the backlash of at all. But you
- 17:18Speaker 4: know what, at the end of the day, they took
- 17:20Speaker 4: a chance. They wanted to revive a show. They took
- 17:22Speaker 4: a chance making her the bachelorette. It backfired royally. I
- 17:27Speaker 4: feel like people were obviously very divided anyway. They were like, yeah,
- 17:30Speaker 4: this is going to do it. I'm going to watch
- 17:32Speaker 4: our people were like what what were they thinking?
- 17:35Speaker 3: You can't save this, you know what I mean.
- 17:37Speaker 4: But I think it's just the the honestly, the sticker
- 17:41Speaker 4: shock of it all that like.
- 17:44Speaker 3: It's Thursday, is the day of the week.
- 17:47Speaker 4: On Sunday, We're on a high with all of our videos,
- 17:52Speaker 4: our fun times.
- 17:53Speaker 3: The show is starting one week.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Later and four four days later, like that, it's done.
- 18:00Speaker 4: They're pulling it and I hate to break it. To you,
- 18:04Speaker 4: but I think that this will be the end. I
- 18:06Speaker 4: don't know how they say face after this. There have
- 18:09Speaker 4: been several things that have changed the trajectory of the
- 18:12Speaker 4: show Flice Chris Harrison, Yeah, you know all of that.
- 18:18Speaker 4: I don't know how they come back from this.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Yeah, who knows. I mean, someone's going to have to
- 18:24Speaker 2: be really, really, really creative. But I think you're right.
- 18:28Speaker 2: I don't. I don't know that we're gonna survive this.
- 18:31Speaker 2: And I mean maybe they do The Bachelor and they
- 18:35Speaker 2: get someone. I don't know. I don't know. I just
- 18:37Speaker 2: have to hope that it's not the end because it
- 18:40Speaker 2: has been such a positive force in my life. So honestly,
- 18:45Speaker 2: like I'm thinking about getting rid of my cable because
- 18:48Speaker 2: it's like.
- 18:48Speaker 3: Over two hundred you well have cable, Trista.
- 18:51Speaker 2: I do because my husband is a massive sports addict
- 18:57Speaker 2: that they have out for that. Oh no, there's not
- 19:01Speaker 2: not in Denver. When you want to watch the Colorado
- 19:04Speaker 2: Avalanche until literally until like recently, they did not have
- 19:09Speaker 2: an app where you could watch. I promise you we
- 19:11Speaker 2: had to because we have to watch the Colorado Avalanche
- 19:15Speaker 2: in this house.
- 19:16Speaker 4: I don't think I have had a cable TV in
- 19:18Speaker 4: fifteen years. I am all for the streaming. I only
- 19:21Speaker 4: have apps, HBO, app Hulu, Netflix, all of the things.
- 19:24Speaker 3: That's the same thing with my podcast. That's how I do.
- 19:27Speaker 4: I'm part of I've become part of this culture that
- 19:29Speaker 4: I am like. I'm small increments, I'm scrolling, I'm doing
- 19:32Speaker 4: all of these things. I'm reaching my I'm fast forwarding
- 19:34Speaker 4: through commercials. But I do think that even if there
- 19:40Speaker 4: isn't a space for it on ABC anymore, because this
- 19:43Speaker 4: season obviously didn't fit their mold of being. And you
- 19:47Speaker 4: know this Trista, this feel good television show. Take a
- 19:51Speaker 4: pretty girl, make her seem like she wants nothing but
- 19:54Speaker 4: love and a happily ever after, put her on fancy
- 19:57Speaker 4: dates with helicopters that's not real life, and then send
- 19:59Speaker 4: her right off in its sunset and let's not touch
- 20:01Speaker 4: her again. That was not going to happen with Taylor, Frankie.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Paul, No, no, no, no.
- 20:06Speaker 4: They were flipping a coins with right They were flipping
- 20:09Speaker 4: a coin hoping it was going to work, and here
- 20:12Speaker 4: it hasn't worked. And that's sad, right because I don't
- 20:15Speaker 4: see the show surviving this.
- 20:17Speaker 3: But I do believe that.
- 20:19Speaker 4: If it's able to I think that they can sell
- 20:21Speaker 4: it to another streaming network and tweak it a little
- 20:26Speaker 4: bit because people do love the show.
- 20:28Speaker 3: They do love it for sure.
- 20:30Speaker 2: For sure it would need to be tweaked and it
- 20:32Speaker 2: would need to be streamed. There's no getting around it.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Because network television is like they have legal requirements like
- 20:40Speaker 2: they are. I feel like they're bound more legally to
- 20:42Speaker 2: producing stuff that they can actually air, whereas the stuff
- 20:47Speaker 2: that's streaming. I don't think they have as many regulations.
- 20:51Speaker 2: I am not an expert, I'm not a producer, but
- 20:53Speaker 2: I would assume that that's the case.
- 20:55Speaker 3: It's wild. It's wild.
- 20:57Speaker 4: You know, the story is changing, it's still ongoing. I mean,
- 21:00Speaker 4: you and I hopped on here within a matter of
- 21:02Speaker 4: seconds to talk about it because it is that sticker
- 21:04Speaker 4: shock Tristan and I think that more will be revealed.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Yeah, thanks everybody for listening. Who knows if this will
- 21:15Speaker 2: be one of the last times that we talk about
- 21:17Speaker 2: the Bachelor or the Bachelorette. Hopefully not, but thanks for
