  Hello friends, it's Sean here and it is Friday the 24th of May

  and we have reached the end of another week.

  I hope it's been a good week for you.

  Here we are at the end of it, no matter how big or small or hard

  or easy or fast or slow it's been we come together today to

  read Assam, and today we read Psalm 117.

  And this is a sum. If you are going to memorise
• 0:38
  Assam from beginning to end, this is absolutely the one you
• 0:42
  should do, because. Because this may or may not be
• 0:46
  the shortest sum consisting of only two verses.

  It is minute. Which is ironic, because with
• 0:53
  some 117 being the shortest Psalm, 119 is the longest.
• 0:58
  And it is so long we're actually going to split it up and read it

  over three days, three Fridays, not just one, because we will
• 1:05
  literally be here for an hour and a half trying to get through
• 1:07
  it. That's not true.
• 1:08
  That is, that is is not literal at all.

  But today's Sam is really short and punchy, and it is
• 1:16
  surprisingly, not at all surprisingly, a sum of praise.

  And it begins with praise and it ends with praise.

  And I'm actually, I think we should read it twice, don't you?

  Yeah, it it is so short, I think we can afford to read it twice.

  The first time we'll just let it wash over us.

  And the second time, we are going to listen to every one of
• 1:38
  these words and soak them in as the Psalmist celebrates, his
• 1:44
  heart overflowing with praise to his God so that we can use the
• 1:49
  sum all these years later to celebrate our praise for our
• 1:54
  God. You ready, mate?

  Who? All right.

  I am literally going to read it twice.

  So let us read together two times, some 117.

  Praise the Lord, all you nations.
• 2:20
  Praise Him, all you people of the earth, for his unfailing
• 2:25
  love for us is powerful. The Lord's faithfulness endures
• 2:30
  forever. Praise the Lord and one more
• 2:37
  time, friends. Praise the Lord, all you
• 2:43
  nations. Praise Him, all you people of
• 2:46
  the earth, for his unfailing love for us is powerful.

  The Lord's faithfulness endures forever.

  Praise the Lord. OHP, Father, what a beautiful

  call to praise. You don't just want a select few
• 3:15
  to praise you. Your heart is for every single
• 3:20
  person in the world, every nation, all the people of the
• 3:24
  earth, to lift up our arms and our voices in praise to you.
• 3:31
  And why would we praise you like that?
• 3:33
  Because your love for us is unfailing, and it is powerful.
• 3:40
  Your faithfulness will endure forever.
• 3:43
  That is a long time. And so we praise you, and we are
• 3:50
  grateful for your unfailing, powerful, all enduring love and
• 3:57
  faithfulness. Oh, what a good God you are, and
• 4:00
  how blessed we are to be your people.

  Let your praise bounce around in our hearts and escape from our
• 4:09
  lips again and again and again today.

  And we pray all of this through the name of Jesus, OHP man.
