- 0:40Speaker 1: way you may pill Vegan. Welcome, Welcome, welcome. You're listening
- 0:46Speaker 1: to the Sport Shop Show. I am the Sports Shock
- 0:49Speaker 1: Wayne Gandy, and I'm gonna need your energy to come
- 0:52Speaker 1: through the mic this morning. I need you to feed
- 0:55Speaker 1: me some energy. I gotta get my man, Big Kenny up.
- 0:59Speaker 1: He's all Disciple pointed. Last week he pulled out his
- 1:02Speaker 1: shorts and came in the studio and I kept saying, man,
- 1:07Speaker 1: he's like that commercial where a guy say, don't become
- 1:10Speaker 1: your parents. What's that commercial? Y'all seen the commercial with
- 1:13Speaker 1: the guy?
- 1:13Speaker 7: You had?
- 1:14Speaker 1: A progressive commercial? You know, don't become your parents. Kenny
- 1:19Speaker 1: came in looking like his daddy going to Palm spring,
- 1:24Speaker 1: because you know that's what they that's what he wanted
- 1:27Speaker 1: to go back in the day the palm spring. But
- 1:31Speaker 1: it sounded nice in the song coming out in the
- 1:35Speaker 1: Atlanta area. As I keep saying, just stick to the
- 1:39Speaker 1: plan until April first, the cold is back. It just
- 1:44Speaker 1: fools you. Somen comes out, Big Kenny, bring the terry
- 1:49Speaker 1: cloth shorts out, hit me with him. And I was thinking, man, early,
- 1:55Speaker 1: he is a little early, too early for the summer.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Thirty three days. And then later that evening that that
- 2:05Speaker 5: truth was revealed, sir.
- 2:07Speaker 1: People around the city of Atlanta just they just can't remember.
- 2:11Speaker 1: They have short memories that basically this is how the weather.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I know a lot of people. I've lived a couple
- 2:18Speaker 1: of places around the globe, and when I say, you know,
- 2:21Speaker 1: when you live somewhere not just visit, you get to
- 2:24Speaker 1: really see Pittsburgh, Saint Louis, La, New Orleans. I'm from
- 2:29Speaker 1: Central Florida. I've lived in San Antonio. Just, uh, you
- 2:34Speaker 1: don't get as you don't get this kind of variety
- 2:39Speaker 1: now in other places where there's four or five different
- 2:45Speaker 1: temperatures in a day, there's four or five six in
- 2:49Speaker 1: a week. You just keep going back in forth. You
- 2:53Speaker 1: you here literally can get sick from that shift. Yeah,
- 3:00Speaker 1: a lot of people don't. I don't think a lot
- 3:02Speaker 1: of people realize why they're looking for this handshake or
- 3:06Speaker 1: some cough they wore, sneezed they walked into. But it's
- 3:11Speaker 1: really that it was thirty six when you woke up,
- 3:15Speaker 1: it went up to seventy and that's when you went
- 3:18Speaker 1: out to dinner. It was sixty two when you got
- 3:21Speaker 1: out of the car for to get your car for dinner,
- 3:24Speaker 1: it was back to twenty four and literally in the
- 3:28Speaker 1: twenty four hours.
- 3:29Speaker 5: I mean, and people don't really, I don't know if
- 3:31Speaker 5: people have truly experienced a forty degree shift in temperature
- 3:37Speaker 5: in the matter of about four to six hours. I
- 3:41Speaker 5: mean that, you know, we take it for granted because
- 3:44Speaker 5: that's our life, but that doesn't happen anywhere else.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't get that stock market type weather as
- 3:52Speaker 1: you do here. And I don't know why. It's a mystery.
- 3:56Speaker 1: I don't know why. You know, you think some days
- 3:59Speaker 1: you live by hurricane is coming and then you realize
- 4:03Speaker 1: I'm inland, but it feels like and then you get
- 4:06Speaker 1: tornado tornado weather, but you also can have an ice
- 4:10Speaker 1: storm like. It is a very interesting place to live
- 4:14Speaker 1: but command she Gregg is in the building as well.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Good morning to you, match morning good man. You are right,
- 4:22Speaker 1: you're kind of feeling your Feller right now. See feed
- 4:24Speaker 1: meat energy. He came in with the cream mellow. You
- 4:30Speaker 1: know usually that's what cream means. It's a mellow. It's
- 4:33Speaker 1: a mellow, smooth house. The weekend uneventful. Uneventful but like, uh,
- 4:42Speaker 1: just cheerios and Flintstone TV.
- 4:47Speaker 5: Or I mean because I'm gonna need you, I'm gonna
- 4:53Speaker 5: need you to qualify. Uneventful, Like are you John Wick? Uneventful?
- 4:59Speaker 5: Like you know bodies this weekend? Or was it like
- 5:02Speaker 5: you know, had planned to do something it failed you?
- 5:05Speaker 5: Oh no, no, I just didn't have any plans, just relaxed.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Did you watch any sporting event anything that popped off?
- 5:14Speaker 8: I watched some uh some basketball, and at the day job.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I saw how interesting darts have become. Darks are making
- 5:26Speaker 1: a comeback. Yeah, well they're They're very popular outside of America.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Been that way. We still have pubs. Darts are used
- 5:38Speaker 1: as weapons in the US, So we had to band
- 5:41Speaker 1: from our pool hall.
- 5:42Speaker 5: We had going to say, darts a gentleman's game in
- 5:47Speaker 5: a pub, but in a bar it's a whole different thing.
- 5:50Speaker 8: This was in an arena, so it's gone to another level.
- 5:54Speaker 8: Well see now, is that is that an acceptable level
- 5:58Speaker 8: for darts? Arena darts? Are we really gonna go with that?
- 6:01Speaker 8: We're gonna let them do that? See that that's the
- 6:03Speaker 8: that's the American perspective.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Okay, well yeah, yeah, my experience just like when the Olympics.
- 6:10Speaker 1: When the Olympics rolled by, it's a lot of events
- 6:15Speaker 1: we have actually played in our life, like say table
- 6:20Speaker 1: tennis that just fell back in our country, but we
- 6:25Speaker 1: were big darts. Pulling out a dark board or air
- 6:31Speaker 1: hockey or you know, table tennis or any kind of
- 6:35Speaker 1: would get was a moment that everybody wanted to join
- 6:39Speaker 1: into ages.
- 6:41Speaker 5: A dark board was something that at one time came
- 6:44Speaker 5: into every home in America.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Yeah. So, and we just have the same thing. I
- 6:49Speaker 1: always tell people about food. We and I said, well,
- 6:53Speaker 1: if you turn on the Cooking Network, all that that
- 6:56Speaker 1: you're turning your nose up to France and all these
- 7:03Speaker 1: Hong Kong that's prime top dollar. Yeah money horse snout
- 7:09Speaker 1: with with beatle sprinkles and people be.
- 7:14Speaker 5: Like, you know, they hot dollar and they line up
- 7:18Speaker 5: around the block for the horse got to order three
- 7:21Speaker 5: days in advance.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Yeah, imagine how something is so demanded that I'm going
- 7:28Speaker 1: to need to know today that you want to order
- 7:32Speaker 1: this Thursday.
- 7:33Speaker 5: And and your reservations like then a year in advance.
- 7:38Speaker 5: You know, we are backed up here for this horse nowt.
- 7:40Speaker 1: But NBA basketball hot and heavy. We got a lot
- 7:45Speaker 1: to talk about on that front. The free agency for
- 7:47Speaker 1: the NFL is open. The first battle of the weekend
- 7:52Speaker 1: was Zelenski Trump. You want to start there, please a
- 7:57Speaker 1: little intimidation, a little I'll eat your kids type, Mike
- 8:03Speaker 1: Tyson to some of them, guys, come on now, well,
- 8:07Speaker 1: I'm saying I.
- 8:09Speaker 5: Want to know what your perspective on on it was because.
- 8:13Speaker 1: You're gonna learn today, right, And I saw That's what
- 8:16Speaker 1: I got from it.
- 8:17Speaker 5: You and I saw and I saw somebody who was
- 8:20Speaker 5: kind of like.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Will learn what you know?
- 8:23Speaker 5: I mean, you know, when not to stick off my shoulder, then, well,
- 8:27Speaker 5: not to stick off my shoulder. I was really surprised
- 8:30Speaker 5: that it went the direction that it did, but it was, uh,
- 8:37Speaker 5: it seemed like it was driving some sort of storyline
- 8:41Speaker 5: in that neither one wanted to back down. I thought
- 8:45Speaker 5: it was interesting that at some point, Vice President Vance
- 8:50Speaker 5: spoke up, which uh, in man on man's situations, usually
- 8:56Speaker 5: your man's speaking up on your behalf all. Don't seem
- 9:00Speaker 5: like you're not holding your ground, especially when there's a hierarchy.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Hey, you standing down.
- 9:07Speaker 9: Well.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Advance was upset because Lensky showed up with no suit on,
- 9:12Speaker 1: no shoot on. But look, so as soon as that,
- 9:15Speaker 1: because that's his job. His whole job is to make
- 9:18Speaker 1: sure that that that that everybody everybody come see Nino
- 9:23Speaker 1: the way they first dressed, but all day. Soon as
- 9:29Speaker 1: Lisa got out the memo, Man, this was hot.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Listen, bro, I came off of battlefield. You lucky my
- 9:34Speaker 5: shirt cleaned. I just came off the battlefield, and you
- 9:37Speaker 5: know we over there and stuff.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Vance, No, you didn't just come off the come on,
- 9:42Speaker 1: we know he had just booked you over at the
- 9:44Speaker 1: wardof Remember, y'all just had some caveall. I'm saying, I
- 9:48Speaker 1: was on ten hour trying to change man that they
- 9:52Speaker 1: didn't pack my good stuff though. So that was the
- 9:55Speaker 1: first that was Friday, and it just seemed he was like,
- 10:02Speaker 1: I guess what I appreciated about it was that this
- 10:05Speaker 1: is not something that is new to the Oval office.
- 10:11Speaker 1: If you have these different individuals in a room discussing issues,
- 10:17Speaker 1: you can't tell me that they're all kom bay y'all. Right,
- 10:21Speaker 1: This which how the media always wants to portray, or
- 10:23Speaker 1: even how America wants to believe that it happened, that
- 10:28Speaker 1: this is all kumba y'all. When you can actually have
- 10:30Speaker 1: a little heat in a room.
- 10:33Speaker 5: Right until the staff writes a book, we never hear
- 10:36Speaker 5: about it. But this time, I'm serious, this time we
- 10:40Speaker 5: actually My favorite part was get out.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Yeah, everybody, get out. Listen. Listen.
- 10:46Speaker 5: I'm not saying I'm a petty person. I'm just saying
- 10:48Speaker 5: I've never taken the high road. You see what I'm saying.
- 10:51Speaker 5: You go low, I'll take it to the grave. You
- 10:54Speaker 5: know what I'm saying, I'll go lower. And they just
- 10:57Speaker 5: he didn't feel like he won the argument, But I
- 10:59Speaker 5: got one more card to play, no lunch, get out.
- 11:03Speaker 1: But the most the most genuine part was I because
- 11:07Speaker 1: I when I looked at that, I started thinking of
- 11:11Speaker 1: NFL locker rooms and how we have stories on the
- 11:14Speaker 1: show where people write articles all week about some dust
- 11:20Speaker 1: up on the sideline, and I'm like, that's how it
- 11:23Speaker 1: really happens, like Draymond when he hit the young kid.
- 11:28Speaker 1: That happens. That don't mean that we fall out or
- 11:31Speaker 1: you didn't need to get traded, but for the moment.
- 11:35Speaker 1: And that's why I say we actually carpool hit it
- 11:37Speaker 1: together and all that happened, and that's really how it
- 11:42Speaker 1: really goes down. I'm sure it's sports track.
- 11:45Speaker 5: With all the broadcasting you've done, you've seen counterparts some
- 11:51Speaker 5: Hey hold on, man, I don't know who you think
- 11:53Speaker 5: you're talking to. Hey, you're gonna mess around and we're back.
- 11:57Speaker 5: All right, Look, let me tell you something. They were
- 12:00Speaker 5: on the thirteen yards and you have to cut right
- 12:03Speaker 5: back to what you were doing.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Especially when it comes to like talent towards producers. Yes,
- 12:09Speaker 1: it happens, and since I've been in it, it happens more
- 12:11Speaker 1: that direction than they do to two people that's working. Yeah,
- 12:15Speaker 1: it's the producer who wants to tell and direct in
- 12:19Speaker 1: a certain way you don't want to go and becomes
- 12:22Speaker 1: You would think about the broadcast about the end, but
- 12:24Speaker 1: we ain't even got the opening credits, right, We'll be
- 12:28Speaker 1: back with more the Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 12:43Speaker 10: Every Day John bo Wayne bar of the Sports John
- 12:50Speaker 10: Show with Wayne Dandidius coming up next.

- 16:13Speaker 14: this what shock show.
- 16:14Speaker 15: I'm the Sportshock Wing came the Good Morning telling you
- 16:17Speaker 15: this first Monday day of March of twenty twenty five
- 16:22Speaker 15: coman you Greg Big Kenny Sports Shock all in the
- 16:25Speaker 15: building this morning.
- 16:27Speaker 1: We started the weekend off with the battle of Trump
- 16:30Speaker 1: and Lynsky, and then we rolled over to a fight
- 16:34Speaker 1: that I hadn't heard about around seven thirty Saturday night.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Got a lot of text of where I was watching
- 16:46Speaker 1: the fight and my response was what fight? And they
- 16:51Speaker 1: went on to say that it was Tank Davis versus Roach. Well,
- 16:57Speaker 1: I didn't know roaches. I didn't know roaches first name. Uh,
- 17:01Speaker 1: and I thought that Tank was in jail. So see,
- 17:06Speaker 1: I'm all messed up. I could have sworn we put
- 17:08Speaker 1: Tank in jail for a little death domestic abuse, evading
- 17:13Speaker 1: the cops. Remember he was on a fast and furious
- 17:17Speaker 1: race and change cars. But we've all done that.
- 17:21Speaker 5: We've all done We've all had a little domestic abuse
- 17:24Speaker 5: in the vaiting officers and all right, we've all got
- 17:27Speaker 5: out of one car into another cop when we were
- 17:30Speaker 5: trying to get away from the police.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Y'all gonna sit there and tell me you ain't never
- 17:33Speaker 1: switch car.
- 17:34Speaker 16: No, you.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Ain't nobody switch And this happened, and when I did
- 17:44Speaker 1: look it up, uh, everything went into conspiracy. I did
- 17:48Speaker 1: watch the clip where Javonte uh Tank Davis during the
- 17:54Speaker 1: fight a couple of rounds in for some reason, he
- 17:58Speaker 1: took me and I could see where the audience figure
- 18:04Speaker 1: it was rigged. For all accounts that I know about boxing,
- 18:11Speaker 1: a knee is a knee, whether I punched you or
- 18:15Speaker 1: you forget.
- 18:18Speaker 5: A knee, even one, whatever comes first. I mean, because
- 18:24Speaker 5: I mean we are being punched. I might have a
- 18:26Speaker 5: little presence of mind issue in the middle of.
- 18:29Speaker 1: A fa We've seen punches happen in the first minute
- 18:32Speaker 1: that might not show itself into the third minute. And
- 18:37Speaker 1: he took a knee for some reason, and they didn't
- 18:41Speaker 1: deduct a point from Tank Davis, and I think that
- 18:47Speaker 1: was the key part. I didn't get to see the
- 18:49Speaker 1: fight in his fullness, So I don't know, but everything
- 18:52Speaker 1: and everyone, all the professional boxes that I did, like
- 18:56Speaker 1: a Jamal No, it's not Jamal Crawford. What's the box
- 19:00Speaker 1: his name, Bud Bud Crawford was saying that Roach got robbed.
- 19:08Speaker 1: So this is just someone that I've followed as a career.
- 19:12Speaker 1: He's saying when he watched it, he felt like Roach
- 19:14Speaker 1: got robbed. I just saw that one incident where the
- 19:17Speaker 1: ref went to explain to Tank that you can't take
- 19:21Speaker 1: a knee, and I'm like, no, that's not how it worked,
- 19:23Speaker 1: mister Reff.
- 19:23Speaker 5: That's cool, right, but you got to the plate point, right,
- 19:28Speaker 5: That's not how it works on the side of the
- 19:30Speaker 5: road either.
- 19:32Speaker 1: You know, you can't be doing this, uh on the highway.
- 19:38Speaker 1: But I'm gonna let you go. I'm gonna let it.
- 19:39Speaker 11: You know.
- 19:39Speaker 1: I just need you to be aware next time, sir.
- 19:43Speaker 1: So that was Saturday night. Saturday night, I got a
- 19:46Speaker 1: chance to roll out.
- 19:47Speaker 17: Did you did you?
- 19:48Speaker 1: Did you hear his reasoning for taking the knee?
- 19:50Speaker 5: No?
- 19:50Speaker 1: The Tank reason? What what did he say? I think
- 19:53Speaker 1: I got a clip rate. Okay, let me hear what
- 19:55Speaker 1: Tank had to say when you heard the decision. Nobody.
- 20:03Speaker 1: I lost track and I was talking about right after
- 20:07Speaker 1: the fight.
- 20:08Speaker 8: That's why we need Okay, that's the press conference if
- 20:11Speaker 8: he had the.
- 20:12Speaker 5: One right after the fight. He said that he had
- 20:15Speaker 5: just got his hair done. What oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 20:20Speaker 5: his hair braided And he's.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Said he just got his hair done like this Wednesday.
- 20:29Speaker 16: Pot.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Hold on. He voluntarily took a knee midway through this fight.
- 20:34Speaker 17: It was not ruled a knocked out.
- 20:36Speaker 1: What happened?
- 20:37Speaker 14: I just got my hair done two days ago, and
- 20:39Speaker 14: she picked grease in my ship. So the ship was
- 20:42Speaker 14: like you know, like when you're sweating and things like that,
- 20:45Speaker 14: and the grease come in my face.
- 20:48Speaker 1: It burnt my eyes type ship. Damn, why y'all boring,
- 20:51Speaker 1: Like I'm saying bullshit and this is live, but this
- 20:57Speaker 1: is funny. And then Trump's list Uh, I mean actually
- 21:01Speaker 1: Trump and Zelenski were there by that time.
- 21:04Speaker 5: They had made up, you know what I'm saying. They
- 21:06Speaker 5: had a little bit of that you know that no
- 21:09Speaker 5: Ukraine and they both laughed and it's rare earth mineral,
- 21:16Speaker 5: you see. That's what that's what it's all about. That's
- 21:20Speaker 5: what it's all been about. And they just way both
- 21:24Speaker 5: one hit get you through the next two decades. And
- 21:27Speaker 5: they sat and they laughed and they like they said,
- 21:30Speaker 5: hold on now we want some of that too, that
- 21:32Speaker 5: grease that give it your faith, make you take a knee.
- 21:35Speaker 5: But then nobody cares about the knee, you know, like, no, man,
- 21:38Speaker 5: this is all right, No points don't don't they Well,
- 21:40Speaker 5: the thing that's confusing me is what's different than the
- 21:44Speaker 5: grease they put on boxes' faces. Remember they that they
- 21:50Speaker 5: still that's what that is Greece, Troy Petroleum, Greece.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Murmur, that's making you don't use that. That's not just
- 22:01Speaker 1: a nineteen nineteen oh one Jackie woman named Jack Johnson.
- 22:06Speaker 1: This is still They still will breeze you up and
- 22:08Speaker 1: to the point that the referee sometimes hold on you can't.
- 22:12Speaker 1: That's too much.
- 22:12Speaker 5: Great, that's too much because the slipping, it makes the
- 22:15Speaker 5: gloves slip. But if you look in any basic hair
- 22:19Speaker 5: product that contains some sort of grease, the base ingredient
- 22:23Speaker 5: is petroleum, the exact same ingredient that they use on
- 22:27Speaker 5: your face. So for him to say that in if.
- 22:30Speaker 1: You're out there that might be, or if you're out
- 22:33Speaker 1: there that are hairstylists, please hit us up, let us know.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Can the I mean grease on Wednesday? Listen, sir affected
- 22:42Speaker 1: me on Saturday night? Listen listen.
- 22:45Speaker 8: But what you say, stylis responder the one who what
- 22:49Speaker 8: did she say when she she said that, like I
- 22:52Speaker 8: did his hair on Wednesday and he did press, he
- 22:55Speaker 8: did a photo shooter whatever, and on the fights on Saturday?
- 23:00Speaker 1: So what happened over Oh, she wasn't gonna take that
- 23:02Speaker 1: in right, No, what you mean? What you mean if
- 23:07Speaker 1: my business closed up saying I'm doing hair in prison
- 23:12Speaker 1: because I know you had to get out for this fight.
- 23:15Speaker 1: We'll be back with more than Sports Jock Show right
- 23:17Speaker 1: after this.
- 23:20Speaker 18: Ask somebody so super human cubes so super hero, so fits,
- 23:30Speaker 18: it's just so bad contutive, So kiss something.
- 23:36Speaker 10: She said, don't bowl Wayne Bore of the Sports Josh
- 23:43Speaker 10: Show with Wayne Dandudius coming up next.

- 25:47Speaker 21: be free.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Brought to you by the ad Council. And now back
- 25:52Speaker 1: to the sports giant Wayne Gandy in the radze.
- 26:01Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, yeah, ladies and gentlemen, you got Tony Prox
- 26:10Speaker 5: stood up in.
- 26:11Speaker 1: The house and I'll be canding Sky Scott. We live
- 26:14Speaker 1: up in here, y'all's count and again in the welcome
- 26:26Speaker 1: back to this one shock Shock, this one shock Wayne. Again,
- 26:30Speaker 1: the good morning to you out there listening laying. We
- 26:32Speaker 1: were talking about our weekend activities. The stare off President
- 26:40Speaker 1: Trump and President Zelensky. Uh they got this was like
- 26:44Speaker 1: noon on. I know when it happened because I was
- 26:46Speaker 1: getting the haircut. I wasn't getting my hair done. I
- 26:50Speaker 1: haven't had grease in my hair since eighty three. Well,
- 26:53Speaker 1: be careful and when you do get put it you're saying,
- 26:56Speaker 1: if I put it in, there's gonna I'm saying. I'm saying,
- 26:58Speaker 1: don't go to uh Tank Davis stylist whatever us whatever.
- 27:06Speaker 1: She's using a ruin your championship aspiration. So the weekend
- 27:13Speaker 1: started off there it rolled into the Tank Davis Lamont
- 27:18Speaker 1: Roach where it was a draw. Right, Yes, they declared
- 27:22Speaker 1: the draw, which means rematch.
- 27:26Speaker 5: Well, now, the and this is something that I've always
- 27:32Speaker 5: believed about boxing. If it's a good match, just the
- 27:37Speaker 5: fact that somebody wins and somebody decisively loses, even if
- 27:42Speaker 5: it's by points, by decision, by whatever, eight out of
- 27:50Speaker 5: ten times, nine out of ten times there's a rematch,
- 27:53Speaker 5: there's always room for that, unless it's something like this this.
- 27:57Speaker 5: People are so incredulous about this win and the reasoning
- 28:02Speaker 5: for what he did, and the fact that not only
- 28:05Speaker 5: did he give that reason, but they still didn't deduct
- 28:08Speaker 5: the point. You know what I mean that I don't
- 28:11Speaker 5: know if I would be willing to do any give
- 28:14Speaker 5: any effort turn it on TV, especially not go to
- 28:17Speaker 5: the arena.
- 28:18Speaker 1: To see it. Well, a lot of times I think
- 28:19Speaker 1: in these fights as well, like Someonechael Tank Davis, to
- 28:24Speaker 1: protect his ability to make another fight if he lose
- 28:28Speaker 1: or if there's a draw, is he goes in it
- 28:30Speaker 1: to where someone like a Lamont Roach would have to
- 28:32Speaker 1: sign a rematch agreement agreement before we even have the
- 28:38Speaker 1: first one. Okay, And I know they used to use
- 28:41Speaker 1: that as a protection cause if you were if you
- 28:43Speaker 1: were the money bringer or if you were the champ,
- 28:47Speaker 1: that you could automatically sign almost like protecting yourself that
- 28:52Speaker 1: I can get my get back. If you upset me,
- 28:57Speaker 1: it'd be up to my discretion whether we fight again
- 29:00Speaker 1: in it or not. But in this case, with being
- 29:03Speaker 1: a draw, uh, based on the box numbers, I'm quite
- 29:07Speaker 1: sure they'll think about a rematch. Guys, did you see
- 29:11Speaker 1: the Oscars? Is that a group of guys, a group
- 29:16Speaker 1: of people? Okay, but they're not Hollywood the Rewards Oscars? Okay, No,
- 29:24Speaker 1: I did not not listen. Listen Two things?
- 29:27Speaker 5: Uh? You said that? They number one they you said that.
- 29:31Speaker 5: People ask you are you gonna watch the fight? You said,
- 29:34Speaker 5: what fight? And then they said tank, Davison Roach, And
- 29:38Speaker 5: same thing happened to me. But I said what fight?
- 29:41Speaker 5: They said Davison Roach, and then again I said what
- 29:44Speaker 5: fight because that didn't sound like it was going to be.
- 29:46Speaker 1: A good fight to me. The Oscars was the same way.
- 29:49Speaker 1: I didn't even know they were going to be on.
- 29:51Speaker 5: Until someone said until a commercial came on, like we're
- 29:54Speaker 5: almost there, and I was like, where are we going?
- 29:58Speaker 1: Oscar? And I was like that's tonight.
- 30:01Speaker 5: And there used to be a time when these things
- 30:03Speaker 5: were like paramount events on television.
- 30:08Speaker 1: What happened? And I always thought the Oscars happened in
- 30:12Speaker 1: February for some reason. Did I have that wrong? No,
- 30:16Speaker 1: it's March second, last night, so in today's third.
- 30:20Speaker 8: Yes, for a while it had been in February, but
- 30:24Speaker 8: it's been Yeah, it's been like early to mid March.
- 30:30Speaker 5: Now, Now, did any of that have anything to do
- 30:32Speaker 5: with the time that they were boycotting the Oscars and
- 30:35Speaker 5: Oscar so white or Grammy was Grammys of the Oscars
- 30:39Speaker 5: that were so white?
- 30:40Speaker 1: Oscar so Oscar so white? Okay? And then I know
- 30:43Speaker 1: that they made some adjustments to accommodate other genres and
- 30:50Speaker 1: things like that, and maybe one of those was time.
- 30:53Speaker 1: I'm not sure. I guess they maybe was trying to
- 30:55Speaker 1: find a spot where they didn't compete against like the
- 30:58Speaker 1: All Star Game or the Super Bowl with good stuff,
- 31:01Speaker 1: those kind of things. I see the Tennis Star Cocoa
- 31:06Speaker 1: Golf attended the Oscar. She had on her gold dress
- 31:12Speaker 1: looking like she's thirty two. Somebody don't put all that
- 31:14Speaker 1: makeup on her. She's only like twenty twenty one. But
- 31:19Speaker 1: it was just something I think we were talking about,
- 31:21Speaker 1: something people used to look forward to. But I think
- 31:23Speaker 1: sometimes just like there's a component of the All Star Game,
- 31:29Speaker 1: the Pro Bowl, the Oscars, the Grammys, I think technology
- 31:37Speaker 1: kind of watered down because for me and Big can
- 31:41Speaker 1: it even maybe you two commands. You when you were younger,
- 31:47Speaker 1: you had to wait to these events to kind of
- 31:49Speaker 1: see some of these celebrities. Some of these celebrities. Yes,
- 31:53Speaker 1: it wasn't somebody in a tree every day talking hey hey,
- 31:58Speaker 1: following Brad Pitt leg They didn't no, no, no, no,
- 32:01Speaker 1: I can tell about it. They didn't prove that if
- 32:04Speaker 1: you if this man is walking out of Trader Joe's
- 32:07Speaker 1: and you got some ankle that looked like you're across
- 32:10Speaker 1: the street, that there is no actual road or business
- 32:17Speaker 1: where you could have been standing. I'm a natureist. I
- 32:22Speaker 1: like in downtown l A. I like trees. It's downtown
- 32:26Speaker 1: l A. You don't find a lot of trees, so
- 32:28Speaker 1: when I find one, a climate. But you didn't have
- 32:31Speaker 1: all this access that TikTok and Instagram and and it's
- 32:37Speaker 1: not just you being noted, it's how you promote yourself.
- 32:41Speaker 1: It's marketing. Every photo you don't have to wait to
- 32:45Speaker 1: the Oscars to see a certain starlet in a gown
- 32:51Speaker 1: or you know, everything is already there, So I think
- 32:55Speaker 1: that kind of waters down your knee. You just want
- 32:58Speaker 1: to hear the results, or or if nobody is performing
- 33:01Speaker 1: that necessarily you want to see. Then It's almost like
- 33:07Speaker 1: telling I used to say, when you watch trailers to
- 33:11Speaker 1: a movie or a show, don't say too much about it.
- 33:15Speaker 23: Now.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Just give him a little real quick, and remember, don't
- 33:19Speaker 1: you know, because if you give him too much, and
- 33:20Speaker 1: they're gonna be like, oh, that's just him doing the
- 33:23Speaker 1: same thing he did last time in space right now.
- 33:27Speaker 1: This is the thing.
- 33:28Speaker 5: Remember how with the Oscars you would see some scenes
- 33:31Speaker 5: and trailers from you would see scenes from these movies
- 33:34Speaker 5: that you would only get in theaters. Now they have
- 33:39Speaker 5: whole apps dedicated to movie trailers, and these trailers are
- 33:45Speaker 5: three minutes long, so it's almost like I've watched a
- 33:47Speaker 5: portion of the movie.
- 33:49Speaker 1: So well, the Oscars last night, I'm not even sure, Greg,
- 33:54Speaker 1: you usually keep up with this kind of stuff. What
- 33:56Speaker 1: was the movie of the year and who's up for
- 33:59Speaker 1: that kind of stuff? The best picture was Anora Anora,
- 34:05Speaker 1: Don't I haven't heard that one. I hadn't either me
- 34:08Speaker 1: write that down A n O R A n O
- 34:12Speaker 1: R anora and uh, that was the best pure that
- 34:17Speaker 1: was the Best picture and also won the Best Actress
- 34:20Speaker 1: actress named Mikey Madison, who I'm not familiar with, Okay,
- 34:26Speaker 1: I know.
- 34:26Speaker 8: It was about a a girl who married, who marries
- 34:29Speaker 8: a uh in New York. She marries a Russian oligarch
- 34:35Speaker 8: and then his family tries to come to get the
- 34:39Speaker 8: marriage a nod.
- 34:39Speaker 1: So it's romantic drama. No no no or something like
- 34:47Speaker 1: no y'all took a KNII and didn't nobody I'm not
- 34:52Speaker 1: going to see And that's why.
- 34:54Speaker 5: That's why And and now I've got the connection of
- 34:58Speaker 5: why it's been seven years since I've even cared about
- 35:02Speaker 5: the Oscars is because I tune in hoping to see
- 35:05Speaker 5: those films that I supported with my effort and my
- 35:08Speaker 5: resources nominated, and those films are and then a film
- 35:14Speaker 5: like that that nobody has heard of. It's not a
- 35:16Speaker 5: box office release, it wasn't well talked about on streaming.
- 35:21Speaker 5: It just comes out of nowhere in the Hollywood foreign
- 35:25Speaker 5: press scene to love it. And now we're sitting there
- 35:27Speaker 5: like having to watch the movie of the year for
- 35:31Speaker 5: the first time, and that doesn't make sense to me.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I haven't I've never heard of this movie.
- 35:36Speaker 5: Yeah, the first time I'm exposed to the movie of
- 35:38Speaker 5: the Year is when it wins an Oscar.
- 35:41Speaker 1: That doesn't make sense to me. Now, the one thing
- 35:43Speaker 1: I will before we move on, and we talk about
- 35:46Speaker 1: this in a lot of different arenas, is this movement
- 35:51Speaker 1: to nudity where the actors, actresses, whatever you want to
- 36:00Speaker 1: call them, always wear these more like nudey kind of dresses,
- 36:08Speaker 1: not all the way up to flesh Tom Kanye West's wife,
- 36:16Speaker 1: but not too far from it either, Like how did
- 36:20Speaker 1: that become in you guys eyes? And I know we're
- 36:22Speaker 1: not designers, but why is that? From some of the
- 36:27Speaker 1: designs I saw at the Oscars?
- 36:30Speaker 5: My personal opinion is the aforementioned reasons that people have
- 36:37Speaker 5: started to lag in their attention to things like the Oscars.
- 36:41Speaker 5: Is you see so much now? That used to be
- 36:44Speaker 5: a time when the designer was talked about who was
- 36:47Speaker 5: wearing what and how well they wore it, And now
- 36:51Speaker 5: you can see that anytime you want to too, So
- 36:53Speaker 5: to get somebody to talk about.
- 36:55Speaker 1: I don't know if you can see the pictures like this,
- 36:57Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. This is Zoe Kravitz. When did
- 37:00Speaker 1: that would come to the point like, if you didn't
- 37:03Speaker 1: know this was the Oscars, you would think it was
- 37:05Speaker 1: the Adult Film Awards. MEGANE. Stallion, this is Olivia Wilde.
- 37:11Speaker 1: You just got on some like undergarments, like you're almost
- 37:14Speaker 1: a neglige. A right, yeah, that is let's stop. Let's
- 37:18Speaker 1: call it what it is. That is a neglige.
- 37:22Speaker 5: I'm saying I'm from neglige generation, and that is classic
- 37:26Speaker 5: high end neglige.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Even Megan Stallion just has on a past.
- 37:31Speaker 5: Stop of herself, two pasties and feathers kind.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Of they see this on the yeah, they can see it. Okay.
- 37:40Speaker 1: I'm just giving you different examples that I don't know
- 37:42Speaker 1: when this craze came to be. I thought the Oscars.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Now hold on, let me see that. We gotta go
- 37:48Speaker 1: to break.
- 37:48Speaker 5: Let me see that makes stame pitch again. I'm gonna
- 37:51Speaker 5: tell how I feel about that in person.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Let me preach out. We'll be back for the sports
- 37:55Speaker 1: talk show. Right, that's me.
- 38:06Speaker 24: Love the name who comes in, then love them that
- 38:14Speaker 24: landa study signed ride now.
- 38:20Speaker 10: That are ready below, don't bow Away, or of The
- 38:26Speaker 10: Sports Josh Show with Wayne Dandius coming up next.

- 40:07Speaker 27: you build trust, becomes easier. As a parent, you want
- 40:12Speaker 27: what's best for your child, To give them the love
- 40:15Speaker 27: of that a child needs.
- 40:16Speaker 1: That's probably the best thing you can do a for
- 40:18Speaker 1: a teenager.

- 40:22Speaker 26: us Kids dot org to learn more. A message brought

- 40:33Speaker 1: And now back to the sports giant Wayne Gandy lock
- 40:57Speaker 1: as where you can sit a sport.
- 41:00Speaker 28: I'll sing, welcome back to this boy Shock show, this
- 41:06Speaker 28: boy shock.
- 41:07Speaker 1: Wayne Gandee Charlie Hustle passed away from our ranks of
- 41:14Speaker 1: the living, but he is definitely in the Halls of
- 41:17Speaker 1: Fame and infamy. Is Pete Rose.
- 41:21Speaker 4: Uh.
- 41:21Speaker 1: And it seems, even as commandchie greg I had already
- 41:25Speaker 1: seen the story about Pete Rose, that Commissioner Rob Manfred
- 41:31Speaker 1: is considering a petition fouled by the Pete Rose family
- 41:36Speaker 1: UH to remove him from the ineligible list for the
- 41:41Speaker 1: Hall of Fame. Now you know, I'm not no oracle,
- 41:47Speaker 1: but we talked about y'all was just gonna wait the
- 41:52Speaker 1: Charlie Hustle died. Y'all just gonna remember how many times
- 41:56Speaker 1: I tell you they ain't gonna let Pete. They don't
- 41:59Speaker 1: want Pete to get to the poem to be up there.
- 42:02Speaker 1: I don't care even if he had to be talking
- 42:05Speaker 1: from a They didn't want him to have no expression, nothing.
- 42:08Speaker 1: There's nothing gonna be logged in history that Pete participants,
- 42:12Speaker 1: that petite, that Pete got to do anything, put on
- 42:16Speaker 1: a jacket, stand by his statue. They were it was
- 42:21Speaker 1: quietly because the name is already so legendary that people
- 42:28Speaker 1: would think he was in the Hall of Fame. Anyway,
- 42:32Speaker 1: It'll be a trivial question. It's the same thing with
- 42:34Speaker 1: like someone like a Barry Bond when you tell people
- 42:38Speaker 1: the stats, When you tell people Lebron James is the
- 42:43Speaker 1: all time leading scorer in the NBA, They're gonna imagine
- 42:47Speaker 1: he has to be in the Hall of Fame. Right.
- 42:50Speaker 1: It's the same thing with someone like a Pete.
- 42:51Speaker 5: Roll which which one of these Major League retired baseball
- 42:55Speaker 5: players is not in the Hall of Fame? Uh, Pete Rose,
- 42:59Speaker 5: Roger Klint, Women's show a tiny and they'd be like,
- 43:05Speaker 5: swim still what I'm saying, right, I'm like, because they
- 43:12Speaker 5: all just automatically imagine, surely.
- 43:15Speaker 1: You put you nobody. You can probably ask somebody to
- 43:18Speaker 1: take anytime you net you off guard with that any anytime,
- 43:22Speaker 1: your question.
- 43:22Speaker 5: Anytime your nickname is Charlie Hustle, but your real name
- 43:25Speaker 5: is Pete. That's why I mean that man Hustle so
- 43:31Speaker 5: much they had I mean because Pete Hustle just didn't
- 43:34Speaker 5: flow like that.
- 43:35Speaker 1: But for him not to be able because one thing
- 43:37Speaker 1: we do know, different people and different sports have taken
- 43:43Speaker 1: their moment. That fifteen minute, twenty minute that they give
- 43:47Speaker 1: you for a Hall of Fame speech is yours. Uh huh,
- 43:51Speaker 1: they cannot There are no guidelines. Now some people have
- 43:55Speaker 1: gone up there and shot yeah, they grinding that act
- 44:00Speaker 1: fifteen minutes. You thought I wasn't gonna be here, didn't you?
- 44:06Speaker 1: Let me tell you?
- 44:07Speaker 17: With God?
- 44:09Speaker 1: Now I've got to cut you. I got to cut you,
- 44:13Speaker 1: Miss mcgilli cutting in the third grade year man?
- 44:17Speaker 5: What I didn't want Pete up there because he I
- 44:20Speaker 5: bet you I was gonna be here, and here I am.
- 44:23Speaker 1: And the thing about it, it doesn't really matter that
- 44:26Speaker 1: maybe you've got a deal with ABC or ESPN or
- 44:29Speaker 1: whoever's broadcasting there. So I've been to the Hall of
- 44:32Speaker 1: Fame up in Campton. There's twenty thirty thousand people in
- 44:38Speaker 1: the audience that would get the here. There is no
- 44:44Speaker 1: guy that runs out there. There's a guy back there
- 44:46Speaker 1: with a pointer to let you know. But that twenty
- 44:51Speaker 1: minutes you can think, you can mess around and forget
- 44:55Speaker 1: who you wanted to think.
- 44:56Speaker 5: Hey, I just want to say to my first wife, Ah,
- 45:02Speaker 5: you thought you had me, You thought you you and
- 45:06Speaker 5: number two through six, y'all thought y'all was gonna break.
- 45:09Speaker 1: Look at the player. Look at a player. You get
- 45:12Speaker 1: to say what you want. They didn't want Pete Rose
- 45:14Speaker 1: to be able. They basically silenced them. No, no, no way,
- 45:18Speaker 1: And now it's not even no historical record is nothing
- 45:21Speaker 1: you can google. And I'm just saying we right now,
- 45:24Speaker 1: if you want to see what Michael Jordan said in
- 45:27Speaker 1: his Hall of Fame speech, can't we you can pull
- 45:31Speaker 1: it up to your envy. Now. Now this is the thing,
- 45:34Speaker 1: this is the thing.
- 45:35Speaker 5: You don't want to have any sound bites or any
- 45:38Speaker 5: memory of Pete being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
- 45:41Speaker 5: But I bet you sell them baseball caps. I bet
- 45:43Speaker 5: you're gonna sell them jerseys. Oh yeah, I bet you.
- 45:46Speaker 1: And that to me, it turns all that's all colors.
- 45:50Speaker 1: All I'm turning. I'm showing I'm the seventy eighth Division
- 45:56Speaker 1: champ color I'm showing up as colorway over that was
- 46:01Speaker 1: as and as Pete Jr. I'm gonna show up and
- 46:05Speaker 1: just start swiping stuff.
- 46:09Speaker 5: I'm just randomly slinging my body across merchandise and knocking
- 46:14Speaker 5: it to the floor.
- 46:15Speaker 1: How dare you? Someone? Boy, let by guns. You got
- 46:20Speaker 1: by guns, little pet They said this hat went for
- 46:23Speaker 1: fourteen million dollars.
- 46:25Speaker 5: There's some forty million dollars worth of hats in the
- 46:27Speaker 5: first day of him being inducted.
- 46:30Speaker 1: And you're telling me let the let the dead die.
- 46:34Speaker 1: Well you go. You keep that same energy, keep that energy.
- 46:39Speaker 1: Get to give a speech in his place? Sure, no, no, no,
- 46:44Speaker 1: they have those. They have like the Hall of Fame.
- 46:48Speaker 1: But when someone passes away, everybody that gets in the
- 46:52Speaker 1: Hall of Fame, someone can come speak on their behalf.
- 46:57Speaker 1: There's there's an egg gros Jr. Right, Yes, they can
- 47:00Speaker 1: be a thing to be a family member. It could
- 47:02Speaker 1: be an ex had a speech ready that could be true.
- 47:07Speaker 1: Knowing Pete to give this speech, remember half of why
- 47:11Speaker 1: Pete ain't it? This isn't in the Hall of Fame.
- 47:14Speaker 1: It will go Petty, this is this is Pete wrote
- 47:18Speaker 1: you on behalf.
- 47:19Speaker 15: Of my dad.
- 47:20Speaker 1: He would like to say, first of all, he partlaid
- 47:24Speaker 1: this on the over Pizzo, Petty. He might have made
- 47:29Speaker 1: a video. I'm telling you first of all, I want you.
- 47:32Speaker 1: He left with his lawyer that nobody knows m not
- 47:36Speaker 1: even the family. That his lawyer has the whoever's ahead
- 47:40Speaker 1: of a state, yes, has the power of attorney to
- 47:44Speaker 1: if this ever happened, this is what you give.
- 47:47Speaker 5: Him, and then he gives it to him and he like, look,
- 47:50Speaker 5: I took the push on this. I partlay this for
- 47:53Speaker 5: twenty twenty seven.
- 47:54Speaker 1: But the only thing with that kind of stuff, all
- 47:55Speaker 1: of a sudden you can't have a technical difficulty and
- 47:58Speaker 1: then a black out. It can get to as soon
- 48:02Speaker 1: as you go to say I want to let you mother,
- 48:08Speaker 1: We'll be.
- 48:10Speaker 5: Right.
- 48:11Speaker 1: Somebody plug it back in.
- 48:19Speaker 16: I helloob.

- 49:54Speaker 29: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,
- 49:56Speaker 29: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 50:00Speaker 29: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 50:03Speaker 29: with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit pills.
- 50:07Speaker 29: That resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the size
- 50:11Speaker 29: of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 50:14Speaker 29: This isn't an AD to scare you, but it is
- 50:16Speaker 29: an AD to make you think twice. Get the facts.

- 50:27Speaker 1: And now back to the Sports Job. Wayne Gamby.
- 50:32Speaker 2: Center Cord on sports news gossip, blah blah blah blah blah.
- 50:56Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Sports Job Show. I'm in the
- 50:59Speaker 1: sports Jock, Wayne. Can we talked about the commissioner of
- 51:02Speaker 1: Major League Baseball is considering lifting the ineligible status of
- 51:09Speaker 1: Pete Rose, something I've always felt like. The way they
- 51:12Speaker 1: were going to handle it, they didn't want Pete to
- 51:16Speaker 1: see his roses. Get it, Yeah, and he missed it.
- 51:21Speaker 1: He missed it. We're gonna do a review after the show.
- 51:24Speaker 1: We'll talk about it. We'll talk about it, listen to
- 51:28Speaker 1: the perfect maybe on some write up style, but Pete
- 51:37Speaker 1: Rose most likely I'm talking not this this next Hall
- 51:43Speaker 1: of Fame, but the one athlete Peter be in there.
- 51:46Speaker 1: I'm sure, I'm sure. Uh, it's because it's Pete and
- 51:50Speaker 1: as a player, people give him that respect of what
- 51:55Speaker 1: he did on the diamond.
- 51:57Speaker 5: Well, and and then a lot of fans like myself
- 52:00Speaker 5: would feel like, how dare you put him in? You know,
- 52:04Speaker 5: y'all know y'all can start cashing in on him. So
- 52:06Speaker 5: the first time you suggested, they go, oh, okay, cool.
- 52:09Speaker 5: When his entire time he was here, no one even
- 52:12Speaker 5: wants to talk about it. It was it was always
- 52:15Speaker 5: a non starting issue. So congratulations to Charlie Hustle if
- 52:20Speaker 5: he does get in.
- 52:21Speaker 1: I just think that well, President Trump says he's gonna
- 52:26Speaker 1: pardon Pete Rose for whatever. Pete Rose, I don't know
- 52:31Speaker 1: what's on I don't know what's on the docut of
- 52:33Speaker 1: illegal I'm saying, I don't know what's on what illegal right?
- 52:37Speaker 1: What was on his public record? Yeah, but I mean,
- 52:41Speaker 1: if you can, I'm sure Trump will. Yeah, Charlie Hustle
- 52:44Speaker 1: jerseys for everybody. Uh So. But I always knew this
- 52:48Speaker 1: was something that they were going to use as a
- 52:50Speaker 1: tool and just not let him see his day in
- 52:53Speaker 1: the family. Definitely doing the right thing because there's a
- 52:58Speaker 1: certain percentage of whatever they do that's going to go
- 53:02Speaker 1: to the family. Most likely there's a deal to be broken,
- 53:07Speaker 1: and we've seen that with different You know Kobe's wife,
- 53:10Speaker 1: and you know she let the Nike contract, the original one,
- 53:14Speaker 1: run out, and then she re signed Kobe even in
- 53:18Speaker 1: his death, to a different deal. So there are residuals
- 53:23Speaker 1: that people have been living on for whenever, you know,
- 53:29Speaker 1: based on your family status, and especially in the entertainment
- 53:33Speaker 1: and sports industry, because these things are things that can
- 53:37Speaker 1: be soul forever, like Michael Jackson kids, I'm quite sure.
- 53:42Speaker 1: And that's why some contracts are in perpect if I
- 53:45Speaker 1: can get if I can get three percent of beat
- 53:51Speaker 1: It Forever as a check coming the Thriller album, I
- 53:56Speaker 1: just need three percent of all things thriller. And and
- 54:00Speaker 1: the only thing I did on Thriller was that was
- 54:05Speaker 1: my thought because what was that? The controversy with Billy
- 54:09Speaker 1: g the controversy with the Lion King song. Didn't the
- 54:17Speaker 1: originators or something try to sue about that song? I
- 54:23Speaker 1: didn't heard you lots about about that? Was it lion King?
- 54:27Speaker 1: It was one of those kind of sound bites whatever
- 54:30Speaker 1: I mean, not sound by soundtracks, where the song starts?
- 54:34Speaker 9: Was it?
- 54:34Speaker 1: The was it that was?
- 54:36Speaker 5: I know that the Black Panther had an issue with
- 54:41Speaker 5: Sis and Kendrick Lamar with that song.
- 54:45Speaker 1: That closed out All the Stars was maybe that was it.
- 54:51Speaker 5: Yeah, and they had an issue where they were suing
- 54:55Speaker 5: and said that, uh, the Universal or whatever company that
- 54:58Speaker 5: released it didn't give them their proper residuals.
- 55:02Speaker 8: And the only the only thing I heard with the
- 55:05Speaker 8: with the Lion King as far as like getting royalties
- 55:08Speaker 8: or anything like that. In the original animated version, Jason Weaver,
- 55:14Speaker 8: who was the singing voice for Simba, he was given
- 55:18Speaker 8: the he was going to give like an up given
- 55:20Speaker 8: an upfront payment for his performance, but then his mom
- 55:27Speaker 8: changed it to where he would get royalties for that song.
- 55:33Speaker 8: So he is still making money off that song. Almost
- 55:35Speaker 8: thirty years.
- 55:36Speaker 1: Later, Joela Bibe of the seventy six ers had a
- 55:40Speaker 1: surgery on his knee. He is going to be out
- 55:43Speaker 1: for the rest of the season. Jola Bibe, after the
- 55:45Speaker 1: Olympics winning goal with Team USA, basically came back to
- 55:51Speaker 1: camp having issues with his knee. For the first couple
- 55:57Speaker 1: of months, they played it by ear and now they
- 56:00Speaker 1: have decided just to go ahead and have surgery. Jolo
- 56:04Speaker 1: Beef has always had any problems. Unfortunately, we see that
- 56:09Speaker 1: to be the issue with a lot of the seven
- 56:11Speaker 1: feet player and up the big guys from Greg Odam
- 56:17Speaker 1: to what was the Sam Buie And yeah, I mean
- 56:20Speaker 1: y'all mean a lot of those taller especially those ones
- 56:24Speaker 1: that was like one and done or never went to college.
- 56:28Speaker 1: And I was always like one of those guys that
- 56:31Speaker 1: felt like, uh, if anyone needs to go to college
- 56:34Speaker 1: is more of the power forward centers, not for necessarily
- 56:39Speaker 1: their game, but to get their bodies in NBA read
- 56:44Speaker 1: NBA to run that kind of size up and down
- 56:47Speaker 1: that court, you need more than them a little twigs
- 56:51Speaker 1: to to do Emma a little bit there, a little twig.
- 56:57Speaker 5: I mean, I'm laughing, which is making it, which is
- 56:59Speaker 5: making it worse, That's what I'm saying. The people who
- 57:01Speaker 5: get body saying be upset about that part of it,
- 57:04Speaker 5: like not only was that in a sensitive comment, but
- 57:06Speaker 5: then me going no, it's really just aggravating the situation.
- 57:12Speaker 1: But jolo Be has his whole career been battling different
- 57:16Speaker 1: neat issues, and the one thing when you're that big,
- 57:21Speaker 1: that's just hard to rebound you. Basically you just manage
- 57:25Speaker 1: the rest of your career. When you talk about those
- 57:29Speaker 1: kind of injuries, the big question that I put out
- 57:32Speaker 1: there is if you're the Sixers, is this your opportunity
- 57:37Speaker 1: to trade Jolab Now I was.
- 57:40Speaker 8: I was if you find someone to take it. I'm
- 57:43Speaker 8: saying I think that'll be. The harder part is what
- 57:48Speaker 8: he will take.
- 57:48Speaker 5: When I heard that he was getting the surgery, it
- 57:52Speaker 5: sounded to me like that. I don't know if you've
- 57:55Speaker 5: ever been in a situation where you've had an appliance
- 57:58Speaker 5: or a vehicle that was kind of serviceable, but it
- 58:03Speaker 5: had that one nagging issue and it kept getting you along,
- 58:08Speaker 5: but you had promised if one more thing, and now
- 58:12Speaker 5: you find to put it on. And why I say
- 58:14Speaker 5: the trade is he he's coming with the knee injury. Yeah,
- 58:17Speaker 5: but he's still gonna be like thirty right when he
- 58:22Speaker 5: come back next year. So when you have those teams
- 58:25Speaker 5: that feel like they have Superman, they just need Batman.
- 58:30Speaker 5: They don't need him to be the Joel will be
- 58:33Speaker 5: no of the past. It you could you could be
- 58:37Speaker 5: the first man right now and just come to the
- 58:41Speaker 5: Justice League and we'll be good.
- 58:44Speaker 1: So we'll see what happens with Joel'll be but good
- 58:46Speaker 1: luck on your recovery and hopefully we get to see
- 58:49Speaker 1: you again and this doesn't become one of those Joe
- 58:52Speaker 1: Greg Odaman.
- 58:54Speaker 5: Situation him and Wemby. Wemby, I wonder how his situation
- 58:58Speaker 5: will go being so young.
- 58:59Speaker 1: We'll be more to Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 59:11Speaker 3: To know that.
- 59:13Speaker 10: You John Bolwayne Or of the Sports Jock Show with
- 59:20Speaker 10: Wayne Dandrius coming up next.
- 59:26Speaker 12: Most people out here think that taking care of one
- 59:28Speaker 12: another is important, and most people would step up for
- 59:32Speaker 12: a neighbor going through a tough time. Most people around
- 59:34Speaker 12: here help out friends and family when.
- 59:36Speaker 17: They need it.
- 59:37Speaker 12: But the funny thing is most of us won't work
- 59:39Speaker 12: for help when we need it. Talk to someone if
- 59:42Speaker 12: you're struggling with mental health, because most people out here
- 59:45Speaker 12: really care. Find more information at Love Youormind Today dot org.
- 59:50Speaker 12: That's Love Yourmind Today dot org, brought to you by
- 59:53Speaker 12: the Hunsband Mental Health Institute and the AD Council.
- 59:55Speaker 4: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 59:59Speaker 4: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: life insurance.
- 1:00:06Speaker 30: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:00:08Speaker 30: just getting started with our family and thought we live
- 1:00:10Speaker 30: forever life insurance.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: What's the last thing on my mind? What about you?
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:00:16Speaker 30: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:00:18Speaker 30: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:00:20Speaker 30: survive without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with

- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Shock Show. I'm this what Shop Wing Candy. Good morning
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: to you out there listening land. This is the first
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Monday of March twenty twenty five. Come on you Greg,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: Big Kenny in the studio this morning.
- 1:01:53Speaker 16: Uh.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: If you missed any of that first hour, you can
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: go to Apple Podcasts, Amazon podcast, Audible, Deezer, iHeart Radio,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: or Spotify and catch the replay after we go off air.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: We have been all over uh the entertainment world, sports
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: and entertainment. We started off with the battle of Trump
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: and Zolensky, Big Kenny. I think we all went that
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: Trump won that round.
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: Uh with the get out that was you know, I mean,
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: but the Linsky didn't have nowhere to kick him out.
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: He you know, he held his ground for the first
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: like three four rounds. You know, I'm not I'm not
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: playing card and you talk.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Command command you Greg informed us that a Nora, what's
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: the best picture of the year, a movie that at
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: least me and Big Kenny are admitting we've never even
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: heard of.
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: Heard of, not seen that, hazards to do it, heard
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: and listen in the industry, sir, I'm saying.
- 1:02:55Speaker 8: And I'm a movie buff, I'm saying. On top of
- 1:02:58Speaker 8: all of that, was this at the theater or what
- 1:03:04Speaker 8: do they call them in indie movie? It could be
- 1:03:09Speaker 8: considered an indie movie, but it had it because they're
- 1:03:13Speaker 8: they're I think they are like, uh, workarounds for what
- 1:03:18Speaker 8: is considered a wide release, because these are supposed to
- 1:03:20Speaker 8: be wide release, and I wanted to.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Speak to that.
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: Now they have different categories of movies. They have movies
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: that are being released on their release date, and then
- 1:03:29Speaker 5: they have movies that are being released exclusively in theaters
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: on their release date. So have has the Foreign Press
- 1:03:39Speaker 5: Corps and the OSCAR and the people who run the
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: Academy Awards started to consider that.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: I mean, because you.
- 1:03:46Speaker 5: Know, now some movies they won't let you get on streaming,
- 1:03:49Speaker 5: you just have to go to the theater.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: But best pictures, you just imagine is something at the
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: end that they are they have to be.
- 1:04:00Speaker 8: There have been some changes because of streaming. That okay,
- 1:04:03Speaker 8: they have to be in theaters for this amount of time.
- 1:04:06Speaker 8: It used to maybe And what's the name of it,
- 1:04:08Speaker 8: kid An, I'll give you the quick synopsis. This is
- 1:04:11Speaker 8: right from IMDb. A young escort from Brooklyn meets and
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: impulsively marries the son of a Russian oligarch. Once the
- 1:04:18Speaker 8: news reaches Russia, her fairy tale is threatened as his
- 1:04:21Speaker 8: parents set out for New York to get the marriage
- 1:04:23Speaker 8: and old and it is considered a comedy drama.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: Comedy drama. Got that big Kenny no uh, and that
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: came into We talked about the Jervonte Davis and Lamont
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Roach fight that ended up being a draw. Pete Rose
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: family is getting consideration of getting his ineligible list name
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: off or removed from that list so he would be
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: eligible for the Hall of Fame. Steph Curry dumped for
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: the first time, they say in six years, he said,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: but that's it. He won't be doing a dunk again,
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: which they hyped him. They don't know what happened. You
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: the hartest, you the hardest, like he do stuff.
- 1:05:20Speaker 17: You could do it.
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: I don't know why they be trying you. These people
- 1:05:23Speaker 5: out here playing in your face. They playing in your faith. Man, gone,
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: I'm fir real.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: But why But why say you're never gonna do it again?
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: What about if that feeling come back well next week
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: when somebody try you coming and feeling that Except when
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: he did it, Yes, that was it.
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: He went and when he slammed it, he was like,
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: oh no, oh man, this is why I don't dunk
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: like that.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: Ouch. That thing is man, that rim is metal. Who
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: does that? I just thought it was funny that he
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: hadn't done it. And I remember being at a Hawks
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: game when sharpshooter Kyle Korver, Mikyle Korver, who's you know
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: in that stealth Curry Mold As far as you know,
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: their effected shooting that deep three, Kyle dunked and for
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: the next five to ten minutes, everybody was whispering it
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: like we was escaping from slavery. Man, did you see
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Kyle Kover? Did you see it? He jumped up? I
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: thought I was.
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: Dreaming, And then when he came, everybody was stopped talking
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: and wouldn't make eye contact.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: I don't say nothing about Kyle. I don't know if
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: he wants people to know, because he was one of
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: those guys that maybe once a year, and Kyle was
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: and Kyle is even taller than Kyle's like six.
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: But this is the thing in a sport where what
- 1:06:59Speaker 5: they do it's such a specialized skill and they were
- 1:07:03Speaker 5: so phenomenally I mean still it. Steph is still is
- 1:07:09Speaker 5: phenomenally great at that. What he does, he shoots the
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: lights out. Should he be worried about his dunks? Is
- 1:07:16Speaker 5: he trying to get highlight film? I mean, you know
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: what's the purpose? Oh no, no, no, it was just
- 1:07:22Speaker 5: for it to be.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: That long. Yeah you hear, yeah, you would think that.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: I mean, come on his basketball. Yeah, that's like thirty
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: your career, you haven't dunked. And since you was thirty,
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: and surely you had a break away. You know, surely
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: you've gotten a breakaway layoff us out and you still wouldn't.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: We're not talking about some kind of Dominique Wilkins type win.
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: Mill behind your back three sixty. You just don't want
- 1:07:48Speaker 5: to make contact with the rim at all. And then
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: to come out like and say, oh, but I'm not
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: doing that again. It might have been like you guys
- 1:07:56Speaker 5: when he landed, because he fingertiped dunking so he's not
- 1:08:01Speaker 5: in that position to hold the rim and let himself down.
- 1:08:05Speaker 5: He's probably just getting it over and then he has
- 1:08:08Speaker 5: the land. And you know he used to have them
- 1:08:11Speaker 5: bad ankles, yeah, like, which means he's probably still has them,
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: so we will see how that happens. He said he
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: had them bad ankles, like he traded them in. He
- 1:08:23Speaker 5: probably still has them, like he store them in the closet.
- 1:08:26Speaker 5: I think ales go with you throughout life.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Dan'a White says that the FBI director wants UFC to
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: train they're agents. Big Kenny, now commands you, Greg, big Kenny.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: I thought I've seen UFC fights, right, haven't they banned
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: like of the UFC moves because you can't you can't
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: hit the elbow to the throat, you can't put the
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: knee to the side. And have you seen the UFC fight.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: I'm saying, what part of the UFC fight part are
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: they going to teach them? Because I thought we banned
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: now the choke hold. Now you banned that incompetition.
- 1:09:15Speaker 8: No, no, you can you can do you can do
- 1:09:18Speaker 8: it in the UFC in the UFC, right, but they've
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: banned in law law enforcement.
- 1:09:22Speaker 5: Now that that's for law enforcement in the United States
- 1:09:25Speaker 5: FBI different kind of law enforcement, just the law enforcement
- 1:09:29Speaker 5: that let you joke people.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: Oh, so the FBI can still put their knee on
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: your throat. Who will find out? Let's tell oh that
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: was the blanketed rule that we had banned you saying,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: just logo, cousins, listen, can't I'm saying, I'm saying I'm
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: not gonna say too much against the fads. First of all,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: cut them folks.
- 1:09:50Speaker 5: From my experience, they do what they want to do,
- 1:09:52Speaker 5: and they'll give a whole class on choking you out
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: and you will be the example.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: All right, not come get your chance to choking you
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: choking more time.
- 1:10:01Speaker 22: You know.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: So FBI ruths of engagement are different. I would imagine
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: some reason. I thought it was just the way you
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: had to operate, But they get a little more leeway.
- 1:10:14Speaker 5: Well, this FBI generally is is especially when we're talking
- 1:10:20Speaker 5: about apprehending people, would be apprehending the nation's most dangerous
- 1:10:26Speaker 5: violent offenders, so there aren't many.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: Spaces, so they can do a throat chop right where
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: they would be limited to.
- 1:10:39Speaker 5: You know, we're trying to take down our chappo and
- 1:10:41Speaker 5: a tunnel I ain't got tied.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: To be gentle with this dude. You know, the dude
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: I have to wear body cans. No, I think I
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: think it may be in certain situations, but not.
- 1:10:55Speaker 5: But now the.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: Police, they're not documented, they're active.
- 1:11:00Speaker 5: They may have close circuit surveillance. So it's not something
- 1:11:05Speaker 5: that it's like the FBI director is watching in real
- 1:11:09Speaker 5: time depending on or the operations director is watching from
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: a headquarters. But it's not like you got it and
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: you're gonna turn it in at the end of the
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: shift to the death sergeant.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: Okay, it's just when they when I saw that the
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: whole UFC training the FBI, I was thinking, well, all
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: that is all that we can dang to White a check.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: We're gonna he been a strong supporter, We're gonna get
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: him a check. I was like, have you seen in
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: the UFC fight lately? I mean, everything basically goes up
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: gouging the eyes.
- 1:11:43Speaker 5: I mean, because why not just let them be FBI agents,
- 1:11:46Speaker 5: the UFC fighters, All the champion dudes will be the
- 1:11:48Speaker 5: ones that are directors, and those competing now will just
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: be agents.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: I guess everybody be Jack Bauer probably already are. So
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: we will see how these works. It could be just
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: making sure it's but there could be a training to
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: it that is significant.
- 1:12:05Speaker 17: Man.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: For you know, I don't know how the FBI.
- 1:12:09Speaker 5: Because I think one of the things that the FBI
- 1:12:12Speaker 5: as a law enforcement agency is held too, that most
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: United States law enforcement agencies are held too, is in
- 1:12:18Speaker 5: the apprehension of criminals. They don't want any gun play,
- 1:12:22Speaker 5: So most of this will be hand to hand grappling,
- 1:12:26Speaker 5: trying to get you to comply. And one of the
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: things that the UFC also does is they train you
- 1:12:35Speaker 5: in leverage and how to use your body weight against
- 1:12:37Speaker 5: you and to subdue you and restrain you in ways.
- 1:12:43Speaker 5: So that may be part of the training is how
- 1:12:45Speaker 5: to hold them and keep them subdued without anybody getting hurt.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Okay, everybody going to turn into Jason Statum. All right,
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: we'll be back with more than Sports Jock Show to
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: be keeping right after.

- 1:18:33Speaker 1: can't it always That's what I want to do.
- 1:18:37Speaker 5: Getting kicked out. Don't seem like a big thing when
- 1:18:39Speaker 5: you first get kicked out. It'd be kind of funny
- 1:18:41Speaker 5: you and your friends be laughing about it. Then you know,
- 1:18:44Speaker 5: they all go home and be on some the two
- 1:18:48Speaker 5: thousand and five reunion, he's sitting there. I ain't getting
- 1:18:53Speaker 5: no invite when people turn around and go.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: Isn't that when you play? Didn't you play? He had
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: to stay away. I mean, they could take me out
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: of everything, So trust me, he's enjoying being back in
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: official capacity capacity. Yeah, yeah, because you because it's not
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: like he can't afford the tickets.
- 1:19:13Speaker 23: Yeah.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: I want to go back as USC. I want the
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: mic man to get on and show how I was doing.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Y'all Right, y'all must have forgot right. I'm Reggie Reggie Bush,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: not this dude that got named after me, that somebody, Oh,
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: Reggie Bush forty being Roethlisberger forty three. Isaiah p. Check
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: Over of the Chiefs twenty six from The Games Are
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: Thrown and Fast and Furious Movies. Natalie amanu Wal is
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: thirty six years of age. Gene Stallings is still alive.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: I know that's what you're gonna say. You thought Jean
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: Stalling was dead. I thought, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: This is what I'm saying, Big Kenny, y'all aren't staying
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: with the current of Listen gen Staaling, Genez y Key thinking.
- 1:20:04Speaker 5: He keep looking in the mirror like, oh, okay, now
- 1:20:07Speaker 5: that's the great Jeans Stallings Alabama longtime college coach.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: Jeans Stalling ninety years old. Okay, your long run ninety
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: years old. Still here, Jeans Starlings, Cabilla Cabello. Did I
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: say that right? Yes, that's the singer is twenty eight
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: from Modern Family. Julie Bowen is fifty five, Jessica Bill
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: forty three, Herschel Walker sixty three, Antonio Holmes forty one,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: Jackie Joyner Kersey is sixty three, Draymond Green thirty five,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: Ka Michelle Is forty three. Obian Obi topping NBA is
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: twenty seven. George Pickens of The Stealers doesn't. This is
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: why Mike Tomlan always saying he has to grow up.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: George Pickens is twenty four four and he actually acts
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: that way. Young, emotional. You know, my girlfriend yelled at
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: me on the way to the stadium, so I don't
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: feel like catching the ball to day. I know, I
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: was open, so you can still whooping with a belt.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: And what you're saying, you have you young and impressionable
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: like that, that means I can stealing and Jason Tatum
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: of the world champion Boston Celtics, it's twenty seven years
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: of age, Big Kenny. I gave you a variety that
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: you did of work right there. I know when I
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: met you who you would have went with with. You know,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: you're fifty eight now, so maybe your your taste, buds.
- 1:21:52Speaker 5: I'm in that what haven't I tried phase of life now,
- 1:21:55Speaker 5: So I'm gonna go with Rebel Wilson.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: Okay, okay, for freedom.
- 1:22:00Speaker 5: Of speech, anybody you can just openly called fat Amy.
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: You see what I'm saying. I'm finna go and visit
- 1:22:06Speaker 5: fat Amy. Y'all know what time it is. Get me
- 1:22:09Speaker 5: a little double bacon cheese burger and a little double
- 1:22:13Speaker 5: bacon cheese.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: You feel me, Rebel Willson And then that's what that
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: was her character and those in the pitch perfect perfect movies.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: So don't don't come to right they say, don't come
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: for us, And that's she told the people. That was
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: her name in the movie. Right, I'm fat Amy.
- 1:22:34Speaker 5: That's how she introduced herself for up shouty.
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm fat amy uh. Sadly, we have some some
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: young death I mean along with a icon in the
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: neo soul Angie Stone and in the three deaths I
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: have to report, all happened in car accidents. Sadly, Angie
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: Stone passed away at the age of sixty three years
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: of age. A young Pitt freshman corner back Mason Alexander
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: back in his hometown this weekend. He's only eighteen years old.
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: He also passed away in a car accident. And a
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: young freshman down at LSU, a pole vaulter, Dylan. Her
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: name is Dylan ridden Or. She passed away at eighteen.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: She was t boned by a motorcycle in her car
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: and her and the body. Linston was his name, the
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: twenty three year old motorcycle rider who t boned He
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: passed away as well. So you know, as soon as
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: we is almost I don't know as a human condition.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: We you know airplanes, but you know they don't frequently
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: as fall as much as maybe and sometimes it exists
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: be at this moment and then you don't have any
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: and then we voting acts dents. It's like three or
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: four happened, and then you don't have any and you have,
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: you know, car to have four victims this weekend and
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: more out there. We forget how dangerous cars are, whether
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: you're in them, whether it's your fault, whether it's a
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: complete accident, all that, you know. Yeah, And that's the
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: thing about it.
- 1:24:22Speaker 5: There is no a prior indicator in most cases that
- 1:24:27Speaker 5: something is going to happen. I believe one of the
- 1:24:30Speaker 5: things that someone was saying. Recently, a school bus caught
- 1:24:35Speaker 5: on fire and all fifteen students were safely evacuated from
- 1:24:39Speaker 5: the bus, but the county released the bus's inspection record
- 1:24:45Speaker 5: and that week it had just passed an inspection. Everything
- 1:24:48Speaker 5: was fine, and so you know, things can and do
- 1:24:51Speaker 5: go wrong all the time.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: And in these cases, the three different incidents, at least
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: for right now, no one is reported that it was
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: like do you why or anything like that, and just sadly,
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: as we said, a friend of the show, Angie Stone,
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: who's I've had the pleasure of having performed at one
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: of my parties at one time, passing away at sixty
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: three and he'll be back with more the Sports Shock
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: Show right after this.
- 1:25:22Speaker 17: Yhood ermy woman jeel the very big sign my hand
- 1:25:29Speaker 17: you like.
- 1:25:29Speaker 24: Stems shine and like a time out of bad Girl.
- 1:25:36Speaker 17: You're laying my mother, of my sons. Dun my goun
- 1:25:39Speaker 17: replace the bone. Noding can take your back.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: Don't go away board of the Sports Josh Show with
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: Wayne Gandy. Yes coming up.
- 1:25:48Speaker 22: Next, hurting the game. We tough it out, feel exhausted,
- 1:25:53Speaker 22: we push on feeling down. We pull ourselves up by
- 1:25:58Speaker 22: the bootstraps. But they're times when bootstraps aren't enough, when
- 1:26:02Speaker 22: stress gets to us and we need to talk to
- 1:26:05Speaker 22: someone about what we're really going through. So we're going
- 1:26:08Speaker 22: to reach out because sometimes mental health is not a
- 1:26:11Speaker 22: one person job.
- 1:26:12Speaker 25: Is it?
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: Love your Mind Today dot org? That's Love your Mind.
- 1:26:15Speaker 22: Today dot org brought to you by the Huntsman Mental
- 1:26:17Speaker 22: Health Institute and the Head Counsel.
- 1:26:19Speaker 4: And now let's talk about something exciting life insurance. Three
- 1:26:22Speaker 4: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:26:26Speaker 4: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:26:29Speaker 4: life insurance.
- 1:26:30Speaker 30: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:26:32Speaker 30: just getting started with our family and thought we live forever.
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: Life insurance was the last thing on my mind. What
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills.
- 1:26:40Speaker 30: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:26:42Speaker 30: bills piling up, I was worried how my family was
- 1:26:44Speaker 30: survived without me.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: That's what I'm inde. An appointment with the insurance informant.
- 1:26:47Speaker 4: Information gives you power and life insurance gives your family
- 1:26:50Speaker 4: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:26:53Speaker 30: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:26:55Speaker 30: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: The answer is easy. Whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: you earn a little or a lot.
- 1:27:01Speaker 4: All you need is the insurance informat to help you
- 1:27:04Speaker 4: build a foundation of security, because without you, your family
- 1:27:07Speaker 4: will have two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will
- 1:27:11Speaker 4: you leave behind? Log on today Benefits or bills dot com.
- 1:27:16Speaker 4: That's benefits or bills dot com. And now back to
- 1:27:23Speaker 4: the Sports Job Wayne.

- 1:27:32Speaker 2: You've been given full access to the Player's lounge on
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy the Chef.
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: You god go face till the mat is he gate.
- 1:27:43Speaker 14: Joe deep Man, here me deep Gate, Joe deep Fan,
- 1:27:46Speaker 14: Here me to Gate Joe deep Me g yate, Joe
- 1:27:50Speaker 14: deep Man.
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: You get to a buck loud do now, welcome back
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: to the Sportshock Show. I'm the Sports Shock Wayne Gandy.
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: You the father of the young fan, Big Kenny Comanche Gregg.
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: I think I might have even threw this gentleman in
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: the ocean.
- 1:28:10Speaker 24: He has.
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: Tried to reverse the sale of that Victor women Yama jersey.
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: Remember the story where Victor traded young like he might
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: have been about seven or eight year old fan that
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: was on the sideline. Victor gave him his jersey and
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: took the small jersey and gave it. The young man
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: gave his jersey to Victor. Victor gave his to the
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: little man, and they in a matter of a day,
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: the family put the jersey that Victor gave him up
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: for auction. Even Victor women Yama himself went on social
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: media and said he was disappointed that they would put
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: the jersey up for auction, And I was right there
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: with him, like, first of all, you didn't even give
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: it time to breathe or grow, Like you know, the
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: kid is seven, eight, ten years from now. Based on
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: what Victor do could make it ten times. It's more
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: valuable than you. Haven't even let it happen yet. Today, particularly,
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: we don't. That's the thing. That's what I've learned. When
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: you're talking about living right, most most decisions people are making,
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: they're not making from desperate anymore. They are just doing
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: it from access access. They just want more. It wasn't
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: you had money to get you your wife and your
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: son to an NBA game? What desperation? He didn't give
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: it to you. At the corner of fourteenth in Linux
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: had the quick trip, y'all were down on the floor.
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: How do y'all get on the floor? Come on, come
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: as you what I mean? So that means you weren't
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: even in So we weren't even in the three hundred section.
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: You had to be at least in the first bowl.
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: They sold someone else's jersey. Maybe that was it.
- 1:30:17Speaker 5: They're so desperate, they're just so. The father says, the
- 1:30:21Speaker 5: sun changed his mind. That's what the story says. Well,
- 1:30:27Speaker 5: I mean you, I don't know if you've ever had
- 1:30:30Speaker 5: that experience of being seven or eight and getting that
- 1:30:33Speaker 5: fifty dollars bill in a birthday.
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: Card and your mama being like, you don't need that money,
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: give me, I'm a hold onto it for you, and
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: you start, boy, don't take this sound like some childhood
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: trump still.
- 1:30:48Speaker 5: Recently my parents was big and now that's too much
- 1:30:51Speaker 5: money you'd be holding in your own pocket.
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: But he tried to get a temporary restraint order on
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: the sale of the jersey, but that fell through the
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: Jersey soul last weekend for seventy three thousand, two hundred dollars.
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: But the father was not able to reel that in.
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: So either he was reversing it because he had a
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: change of heart, or he was trying to reverse it
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: because someone from another source might have wanted it, might
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: have had it more.
- 1:31:26Speaker 5: But either way, it got sold, and now he's got
- 1:31:29Speaker 5: to get whatever his cut of that he is, or
- 1:31:30Speaker 5: the auction house gets there.
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: But he went on record, which made commands you Greg
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: right there frown that the son had decided he didn't
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: want to, which means that the son would have been
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: the one who said, hey dad, we should auction this jersey.
- 1:31:48Speaker 5: Right, sit down, boy, it would have been That means
- 1:31:51Speaker 5: the sign wanted to auction it. That's what he's saying.
- 1:31:54Speaker 5: And see this is it wasn't me, and this it
- 1:31:57Speaker 5: was him, And this is the text book response for
- 1:32:05Speaker 5: today's society. I can do whatever I want. And benefited
- 1:32:10Speaker 5: from however I can, and then look you in the
- 1:32:14Speaker 5: face and go, ah, man, I wasn't it was really
- 1:32:18Speaker 5: my idea.
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: And then anybody to go, yeah, it was the second grader.
- 1:32:24Speaker 5: Come on, man, because you know how the second grade,
- 1:32:26Speaker 5: you know how they get and the whole Bundy five
- 1:32:29Speaker 5: he's five years Oh.
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: So they're even harder to negotiate with. So you know it.
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: I've tried to stop it because you know they can
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: count the seventy three thousand. Come on, man, you know
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: the people.
- 1:32:40Speaker 5: He was on the phone with the auction house, just
- 1:32:43Speaker 5: you know them people didn't want I didn't want to
- 1:32:45Speaker 5: bother them people with all that noise, So this is
- 1:32:48Speaker 5: all for show, was trying to explain to his son.
- 1:32:52Speaker 5: I tried, I'm trying to stop it. The thing and
- 1:32:54Speaker 5: the boy. The boy was first he wanted to put
- 1:32:57Speaker 5: it up. He wanted to know then you know, because
- 1:33:02Speaker 5: they'll do that.
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: Do you want some fish sticks?
- 1:33:04Speaker 5: No?
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: And then the fish sticks get done? I want fish sticks?
- 1:33:07Speaker 5: Oh man, I now I got to make new fish sticks.
- 1:33:10Speaker 5: So it's the same thing with Jersey. His son wanted
- 1:33:14Speaker 5: to show it off to his friend.
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: He didn't know his d so he gonnae't get that
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: later in life, he's gonna call Ted Kit what is
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: the Ken Nugent? I guess what's the guy on the
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: billboard and then want to call but then his daddy
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: gonna pull the parent card. I bought that bike. You
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: be riding with the money. You ain't complain about the
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: bike when I bought it. Hard Knocks is gonna go
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: to college and follow Bill Belichick around you and c
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: Bill Belichick seems like he's pulling a little a prime time,
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: A little a little prime time?
- 1:33:59Speaker 5: Now is Bill Belichick pulling the prime time or did
- 1:34:03Speaker 5: someone come to him and go, man, you solid is
- 1:34:07Speaker 5: prime You could get some of this.
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: I would imagine smart coaches those that are trying to win,
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: which that's what makes a smart coach, the ability to
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: adjust to the landscape that's before them. Someone as we
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: talked about when Nick Saban left Alabama, his personality was
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: not something who wanted to play this back and for
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: some people were not, Hey, we made a deal. We
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: shook our hands and that was it. That was the deal.
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: Now you're calling me telling about you want the jersey back.
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: You say the two years old asked for the five
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: year old went to Jersey back. I thought we had
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: a deal, the contracts, but Bill Belichick just landing in,
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: you n see, and we're talking about a school that
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: has always had a beacon flying in the air for basketball.
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: It's the home of Michael Jordan. The marketing plan is there.
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: I gotta get my school back in the spotlight, because
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: that's what it is. Trying to figure a way to
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: and respectfully and bring some attention, because you're dealing with
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: a generation that is about that kind of attitude that
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: regardless of how far they go with the sport or
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: whatever endeavor they're in, they don't want to go if
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: it doesn't bring any shine to them. Does that make yeah,
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: I don't just you say you quiet million dollars? How
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: does that helping me? Sir? Only poor people are into
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: quiet money. No quiet money. You say, you just want
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: me to be rich? No, that sounds crazy. You must
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: be crazy. No, I want to We gotta let funk. Now,
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: it's gonna give me some money. It ain't gonna tell No,
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: Ain't nobody gonna know that. Ain't this that's not this generation. No,
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: it's not no. No, they rather be famous than rich.
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: I want in a sense of you giving me the
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: right right in cash. I want it all that.
- 1:36:18Speaker 5: I hold it up to my ear and let them
- 1:36:20Speaker 5: and show them the bag, got the bags, the need
- 1:36:23Speaker 5: to put to music and everything, the whole thing, the
- 1:36:26Speaker 5: money and the thing or what they're gonna put to
- 1:36:28Speaker 5: They behind it.
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: That, you know, that's all they need and just throwing
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: money into the camp. They wanted to coach to dance
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: with them, and.
- 1:36:43Speaker 5: At eighty three they want the coach to you know,
- 1:36:46Speaker 5: I'm talking about really gig with it and jump up
- 1:36:49Speaker 5: and down and all of that.
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: And we're saying that because we're more from where we
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: wanted the million and didn't want you to know we
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: got it. Damn people, if we want to borrow money
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: and borrow, borrow me give it back. People, just be
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: on something.
- 1:37:06Speaker 5: I heard you got paid, You got paid by put
- 1:37:11Speaker 5: your bow man, gonna put your bow man.
- 1:37:15Speaker 8: You got it now they gave me. Was this this
- 1:37:17Speaker 8: top Roman? People wouldn't believe that. But you used to
- 1:37:23Speaker 8: kind of hide your you know, if you knew, you knew,
- 1:37:26Speaker 8: but if you didn't, I.
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: Ain't gonna tell you. I'm gonna keep it over here,
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: yeah quiet, because I don't want you to come by
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: the little signs, O, Kenny, is that a lama?
- 1:37:35Speaker 18: Now?
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: Not no real lama? A lama. I mean, it's kind
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: of like a lama cuz. But when I saw this,
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: I did because Command she sent it to me too,
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: and I had seen it, and I thought, this is
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: just some move by U n C. You gotta use
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: these kind of tools. You gotta bring your your football
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: program is similar to Colorado in the sense that you
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: would be very surprised the amount of pro players Carolina,
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: especially in the eighties and nineties, put out. Now, I
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: wonder if if they put out a lot of pro players,
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: they had better ranked teams. Yes, and now that part,
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: at least the football team over the last ten fifteen years,
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: is falling out of favor. I wonder if I wonder
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: if this.
- 1:38:25Speaker 5: Coverage like hard Knocks and that level of media scrutiny
- 1:38:29Speaker 5: was something that Belichick agreed to on his way through
- 1:38:32Speaker 5: the door, or if they just said with media opportunities
- 1:38:37Speaker 5: or something like that, and he signed the contract and
- 1:38:39Speaker 5: then they came with him with hey, man, I know
- 1:38:42Speaker 5: you probably gonna really like this, and then hit him
- 1:38:44Speaker 5: with hard knocks because.
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: Well, he's as one of the greatest coaches considered in
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: all of sports.
- 1:38:52Speaker 5: So he's definitely got a point of with that. Yeah,
- 1:38:55Speaker 5: he's got a point in programs. And I've said this
- 1:38:58Speaker 5: as we go to break with my Auburn basketball team.
- 1:39:03Speaker 5: Until we got Bruce Pearl, I've said this several times here,
- 1:39:06Speaker 5: we hadn't really ever got a coach that was already
- 1:39:09Speaker 5: on people's radar.
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: Bruce Pearl was already had done some controversial things, but
- 1:39:16Speaker 1: he was known for winning. He had been an analyst
- 1:39:18Speaker 1: on ESPN, and he was the first hire we hired
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: that came with some views already at Auburn. Auburn has
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: never really been a school that hires anyone that's already notable, right.
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: They typically have to go there and make themselves notable,
- 1:39:41Speaker 1: but they don't come there with that. And sometimes that's
- 1:39:44Speaker 1: what your program need. If I'm Georgia State and I
- 1:39:47Speaker 1: can get Nick Saban to come coach here for two years,
- 1:39:52Speaker 1: it just validates Georgia State to these young kids of
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: somewhere to go to play. Validation. We'll be back with
- 1:39:58Speaker 1: more to Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 1:40:02Speaker 17: I'm from what in the world happen? But don't yell
- 1:40:13Speaker 17: at lea.
- 1:40:17Speaker 10: Don't Bowl away or of the Sports Jock Show with
- 1:40:20Speaker 10: Wayne Dan videos dumbing up mass.
- 1:40:25Speaker 29: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,
- 1:40:28Speaker 29: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 1:40:32Speaker 29: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 1:40:35Speaker 29: with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 1:40:38Speaker 29: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 1:40:43Speaker 29: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 1:40:46Speaker 29: This isn't an ad to scare you, but it is
- 1:40:48Speaker 29: an AD to make you think twice. Get the facts.
- 1:40:51Speaker 29: Go to Real Deal on fentanyl dot com. This message
- 1:40:54Speaker 29: is brought to you by the Ad Council.
- 1:40:55Speaker 23: I never realized that I'd be taking care of a
- 1:40:59Speaker 23: two year old and nine year old on my own.
- 1:41:01Speaker 23: I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes, where
- 1:41:04Speaker 23: pride gets in the way and they may want the help,
- 1:41:07Speaker 23: they may not know how to ask. With my traditions,
- 1:41:11Speaker 23: with the family support in line, and just with my
- 1:41:14Speaker 23: mind frame, I was able to turn a negative into
- 1:41:18Speaker 23: a positive. I knew I needed more tools in my
- 1:41:21Speaker 23: toolbox to take care of these little girls that just
- 1:41:24Speaker 23: lost their mother. It's time for me to be that
- 1:41:26Speaker 23: father that I knew I could be. I think just
- 1:41:29Speaker 23: being that good role model as well. That model's good
- 1:41:32Speaker 23: behavior in front of them, going to work every day,
- 1:41:36Speaker 23: coming home and being able to put on that smile.
- 1:41:38Speaker 23: The biggest reward about being a dad is sitting back
- 1:41:42Speaker 23: and watching your kids be happy.

- 1:42:27Speaker 1: And now back to the sports jibt Wayne Gandy.
- 1:42:40Speaker 28: Its lock on so you can see a sports jaint.
- 1:42:54Speaker 28: I'll sing even can welcome back to the sportshops.
- 1:43:00Speaker 1: This what Shoup Wayne candygo wanting to you, commanded Greg
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: nick Kitty in the studio. We left talking about UNC
- 1:43:07Speaker 1: football being on Hard Knocks. Not sure. I think this
- 1:43:09Speaker 1: is the first time Hard Knocks has covered college as
- 1:43:13Speaker 1: their show. And this is the Hard Knocks because they
- 1:43:16Speaker 1: have broken into two divisions, right, there's an off season
- 1:43:20Speaker 1: and an n seed training camp. Right, yeah, well because
- 1:43:24Speaker 1: last year they did the Dolphins and someone else. I
- 1:43:29Speaker 1: think it was the AFC North Division, like the everyone
- 1:43:33Speaker 1: in the division. But the end season. Yeah, but it
- 1:43:36Speaker 1: wasn't just it wasn't centered around training camp, right, the
- 1:43:41Speaker 1: training camp won was that was another team and they
- 1:43:45Speaker 1: did I know they did the Giants for the off
- 1:43:47Speaker 1: season last year, right, Okay, so they almost got three
- 1:43:51Speaker 1: now then I think, right, because the training camp addition
- 1:43:56Speaker 1: of Hard Knocks is how they started where they just
- 1:43:59Speaker 1: covered a team in training camp the first day and
- 1:44:02Speaker 1: it's not like that anymore. And see, I thought, now
- 1:44:05Speaker 1: they have an off season.
- 1:44:09Speaker 8: Last season it was the Giants for the off season,
- 1:44:12Speaker 8: the Bears for training camp, and then the AFC North
- 1:44:17Speaker 8: for in season season. Yeah, the Dolphins one was the
- 1:44:19Speaker 8: year before in season.
- 1:44:21Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, they've broken. So they've broken into basically three
- 1:44:24Speaker 1: versions of hard knocks, right, the Giants one was the
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: first one for the off season, okay, and this is
- 1:44:30Speaker 1: the second off season and this one will be with
- 1:44:33Speaker 1: U n C. Yes, okay, And that's what we were
- 1:44:36Speaker 1: talking about, Bill Belichick storylines they're trying to provide, and
- 1:44:41Speaker 1: the Carolina as we were going to break, I was
- 1:44:43Speaker 1: remembering Mac Brown had coached at Carolina and then trying
- 1:44:48Speaker 1: to revive it. They brought him back here these last
- 1:44:50Speaker 1: three or four years, trying to bring that kind of
- 1:44:53Speaker 1: fame and face from what he had done at Texas
- 1:44:57Speaker 1: and now you have Belichick. So they're kind of understanding
- 1:45:02Speaker 1: how the landscape of what you want to do has
- 1:45:05Speaker 1: to happening at some point. And it's no knock against those,
- 1:45:08Speaker 1: you know, quiet assistants that are great coaches, but sometimes
- 1:45:13Speaker 1: your program. It's no different than Brett Favre if he
- 1:45:17Speaker 1: was able to go back to Southern miss it'll bring
- 1:45:20Speaker 1: a different light and legitimate C and N I L
- 1:45:26Speaker 1: that goes with because they can tie all of that
- 1:45:28Speaker 1: in together. They can bring it in because whatever Brett
- 1:45:32Speaker 1: is signed under would easily connect in and give a
- 1:45:36Speaker 1: little bit over them little lead commercials. He shoot, they
- 1:45:41Speaker 1: easily could do that. Deebo Samuel has been traded from
- 1:45:47Speaker 1: the forty nine Ers to the Commanders, giving Jayden Daniels
- 1:45:53Speaker 1: a option at running back and receiver. Slot guy guy
- 1:45:59Speaker 1: like TV that can move around. I think the Commanders
- 1:46:04Speaker 1: and the way that their season went great young talent
- 1:46:07Speaker 1: and Jayde Daniels right there in the Cus went to
- 1:46:11Speaker 1: the playoffs. You imagine some health being able to add
- 1:46:16Speaker 1: Deebo Samuel gives them. Which is a good division. Now
- 1:46:21Speaker 1: that the Eagles, Eagles are set to come back next
- 1:46:23Speaker 1: year and make another run. So you got to compete
- 1:46:27Speaker 1: with what's in your division first and foremost. You throw
- 1:46:30Speaker 1: that in there with always the potential of what Dallas
- 1:46:34Speaker 1: has who you know, Dallas always is a potential team.
- 1:46:40Speaker 1: It's going to be based on their focus. You ever
- 1:46:42Speaker 1: notice that this is not that the pieces don't be
- 1:46:45Speaker 1: can you get the pieces back to fire to make
- 1:46:47Speaker 1: a fist? But Dallas always they do this, They.
- 1:46:51Speaker 5: Keep and pulling their stomach out. I don't know, you know,
- 1:46:59Speaker 5: so they're always around. But now you're talking about Deebo
- 1:47:02Speaker 5: Samuels in that division. The NFC East with the Eagles,
- 1:47:07Speaker 5: Cowboys and whatever they might come up with, and now
- 1:47:11Speaker 5: with the Giants looking to try to stir something up
- 1:47:14Speaker 5: next year as well as the Commanders did this past season.
- 1:47:18Speaker 5: Is this supposed to be their lynch pin piece? Do
- 1:47:21Speaker 5: you think that rest of the division is going, oh man, yes, yeah, okay,
- 1:47:27Speaker 5: because we already couldn't stop him without devout.
- 1:47:30Speaker 1: Yeah, giving him and their offense and their receiving corps
- 1:47:35Speaker 1: and Brian Robinson, they're running back who was you know, effective,
- 1:47:40Speaker 1: but he's banged up. Now you have a Swiss Army
- 1:47:44Speaker 1: knife type player in Devo that you can move around.
- 1:47:48Speaker 1: Now it all depends about his health, you know. And
- 1:47:51Speaker 1: that's the thing with forty nine ers, And I think
- 1:47:55Speaker 1: for forty Nineers signed Brian Ayuk knowing that this could
- 1:48:01Speaker 1: give them an option next year with de Bot because
- 1:48:05Speaker 1: when you go around, they gotta pay, They gotta pay
- 1:48:08Speaker 1: rock Party and a quarterback getting paid affects your team
- 1:48:13Speaker 1: because there's gonna be a position where somebody is just somebody.
- 1:48:20Speaker 1: It removes your ability to have so you have to
- 1:48:25Speaker 1: deal with that person. You watch the Chiefs having to
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: pay Patrick Mahomes, You watch any of these teams. Having
- 1:48:33Speaker 1: to pay that guy, it removes for about two years
- 1:48:37Speaker 1: your ability to really you watch the Chargers and Herbert
- 1:48:42Speaker 1: Lamar and any of those you even watch. I gotta
- 1:48:46Speaker 1: get rid of Stefan Diggs because what happens is right,
- 1:48:50Speaker 1: I gotta pay this guy now. Only got so much money,
- 1:48:53Speaker 1: and this guy deserves money. I just don't have.
- 1:48:55Speaker 5: These are math problems. This is not a willingness to
- 1:48:58Speaker 5: pay you. This is that the cap is here. We
- 1:49:01Speaker 5: only got this much, and I really can't pay the
- 1:49:04Speaker 5: two of you what you're worth.
- 1:49:06Speaker 1: So one of you is going to.
- 1:49:08Speaker 5: Have to help me in the future by getting me
- 1:49:12Speaker 5: some value now and being gone. And this guy behind
- 1:49:15Speaker 5: you nobody knows who he is. But that's just what
- 1:49:18Speaker 5: we're gonna have to live with right now. Is nobody
- 1:49:20Speaker 5: knowing this?
- 1:49:21Speaker 1: And when I make that move like a brock perty,
- 1:49:23Speaker 1: I gotta hope that I can draft somebody and for
- 1:49:27Speaker 1: those three four years they produce at that all star level,
- 1:49:32Speaker 1: or I get someone who's in year like nine is
- 1:49:37Speaker 1: back to a more valuable piece. It's a valuable piece,
- 1:49:42Speaker 1: but he's at a more modest price. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:49:44Speaker 5: Restructuring Matthew Stafford Matthew Stafford's restructuring right now because I
- 1:49:49Speaker 5: really you know.
- 1:49:51Speaker 1: And that's.
- 1:49:54Speaker 5: Because I gotta keep giving that every money and everything's aligning,
- 1:49:57Speaker 5: you know.
- 1:49:58Speaker 1: I don't want to move and it's a out time
- 1:50:00Speaker 1: to play pay the uh uh pool what's his name?
- 1:50:05Speaker 1: Pooka and the cool It's about time to pay him.
- 1:50:07Speaker 1: Hold on what you call me? Show right after this
- 1:50:12Speaker 1: for a real.
- 1:50:13Speaker 14: Girl and menial world, believe me and make a man's lean.
- 1:50:17Speaker 14: No woman, queen would a crown that be down for whatever.
- 1:50:20Speaker 14: There were a few things. That's whatever, my lady. We
- 1:50:23Speaker 14: can make war room, make batons. Back when I was nothing,
- 1:50:26Speaker 14: you made a broke up feel like he was something.
- 1:50:28Speaker 14: That's why I'm what you took this dude who No,

- 1:51:43Speaker 1: Oh yeah yeah, he's starting with the woots.
- 1:51:47Speaker 17: And now a speech.
- 1:51:48Speaker 4: I just want to say that friendship is about heart,
- 1:51:52Speaker 4: heart and brain.
- 1:51:54Speaker 14: Who's with me?
- 1:51:55Speaker 9: Good thing is he knows when he's buzzed, and my
- 1:51:57Speaker 9: brain is saying when it's time to go home, somebody
- 1:52:00Speaker 9: call me a ride.
- 1:52:01Speaker 20: Love that guy, me too, Know your buzzed warning signs,
- 1:52:05Speaker 20: call for a ride when it's time to go home.
- 1:52:06Speaker 20: Buzz driving is drunk driving. A message from ITZA and
- 1:52:09Speaker 20: the ad Council.
- 1:52:13Speaker 1: And now back to the sports job, Wayne.
- 1:52:15Speaker 2: Gandy, It's time for a school board when we put
- 1:52:25Speaker 2: a spin on light and sports and how they intermingle
- 1:52:30Speaker 2: on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy, perceives.
- 1:52:52Speaker 18: Grass a Dame were now in the sweep the streets?
- 1:53:17Speaker 1: What about this? What shock show? I'm this what shock
- 1:53:19Speaker 1: wing candy. Someone just sent me a text about TD
- 1:53:23Speaker 1: Jake's sall got TV? What happened? I got some TD
- 1:53:27Speaker 1: It says, uh. Celebrity pastor TD Jake faces sinister new
- 1:53:32Speaker 1: claims after explosive gay sex assault allegations. I thought y'all
- 1:53:39Speaker 1: was just swallowing or whatever swallowed swallowed.
- 1:53:42Speaker 8: Apparently he was at the Diddy parties or he was
- 1:53:47Speaker 8: associated with him. So he's a baby baby or I
- 1:53:50Speaker 8: guy allegedly right now, I mean now, now.
- 1:53:58Speaker 5: There's a difference between gay sexual allegations and gay sexual
- 1:54:05Speaker 5: assault allegations.
- 1:54:08Speaker 1: That's the part to me that makes it a story.
- 1:54:10Speaker 5: I'm not really interested in what TD Jakes does in
- 1:54:14Speaker 5: his private time, but if he beaten people up then
- 1:54:18Speaker 5: that that's.
- 1:54:18Speaker 1: Where the story comes out. So I'm interested to see
- 1:54:21Speaker 1: where this goes.
- 1:54:22Speaker 8: Yeah, just Y was a youth a former youth pastor
- 1:54:26Speaker 8: for Jakes is alleging sexual assault.
- 1:54:31Speaker 1: Okay, maybe he Diddy again.
- 1:54:34Speaker 5: And I know I know Diddy somewhere sitting in a
- 1:54:36Speaker 5: cell like, man, people need to leave my name.
- 1:54:40Speaker 1: I wasn't even there. Fresnoe State reports are coming out
- 1:54:46Speaker 1: of there that they two basketball players that participated for
- 1:54:51Speaker 1: the Fresne State basketball team. Those guys, the charges uh
- 1:54:59Speaker 1: and the allegations uh stem around that they were playing
- 1:55:06Speaker 1: fantasy on what I'm reading to be their own performances.
- 1:55:17Speaker 1: So that would be kind of how we've been saying,
- 1:55:20Speaker 1: like the kids, like the guy from Fantasy, they're playing
- 1:55:24Speaker 1: those fantasy sports sports like fan Duel or DraftKings that
- 1:55:28Speaker 1: you can actually bet on, and they're playing themselves the
- 1:55:35Speaker 1: over under or whatever. So this is similar to the
- 1:55:38Speaker 1: gentlemen for Toronto.
- 1:55:42Speaker 5: So what you're trying to tell me is this is
- 1:55:43Speaker 5: the way I'm going to get around actually betting on myself.
- 1:55:47Speaker 1: Is I'm going to bet on it. But they still
- 1:55:48Speaker 1: can't do it.
- 1:55:50Speaker 8: You still he's still not supposed to do that if
- 1:55:53Speaker 8: you're on the if you're on the team, you can't say, oh,
- 1:55:56Speaker 8: I'm going to score at least eight points tonight.
- 1:55:59Speaker 1: Correct. I don't be trying though. Yeah.
- 1:56:02Speaker 8: But and then that's what John J. Borter is doing
- 1:56:05Speaker 8: over under his five points. He's like, I'm only gonna
- 1:56:07Speaker 8: score three, and then he act like he was hurting.
- 1:56:09Speaker 8: Then I get it, Yeah, but I'm trying to score
- 1:56:12Speaker 8: of the five. But I got hurt at three. It
- 1:56:15Speaker 8: happens all the time. It's happened in the last six games.
- 1:56:20Speaker 1: And this is the part, as I keep saying, not
- 1:56:23Speaker 1: because I want it to be, I just know you're
- 1:56:27Speaker 1: dealing with why the Four Fathers, those people in the
- 1:56:32Speaker 1: late eighteen hundreds nineteen hundreds who brought us the idea
- 1:56:36Speaker 1: of let's play these sports, implement it all those rules.
- 1:56:41Speaker 1: You don't think this is some of what they were
- 1:56:44Speaker 1: going through. And this you know when I talk about
- 1:56:47Speaker 1: the Black Sox, wasn't they It's the same thing. But
- 1:56:51Speaker 1: now it's more opportunity because, as I said, I don't
- 1:56:55Speaker 1: have to do it off of wins and losses at all.
- 1:56:59Speaker 1: Theirs were more or win and losses. Back then. Yes,
- 1:57:02Speaker 1: they either won the game, or not. They hadn't broken
- 1:57:05Speaker 1: it down to pitch counts.
- 1:57:08Speaker 5: And you're right right, if he gets two and a
- 1:57:10Speaker 5: half points, I got a two and a half point lead.
- 1:57:14Speaker 1: You can get an extra six hundred dollars on you
- 1:57:16Speaker 1: do half. We have it broken down now, like you're saying, Greg.
- 1:57:20Speaker 1: And just like the Porter kid, he bet on how
- 1:57:25Speaker 1: many points he would play, you know, and and it
- 1:57:29Speaker 1: registered at the gambling house because he wasn't a consistent
- 1:57:35Speaker 1: guy that got minutes, which meant that he knew he
- 1:57:38Speaker 1: was going to get some minutes. And then he went
- 1:57:40Speaker 1: in place to bet about how many points. And that's
- 1:57:43Speaker 1: how you because you can bet on how far somebody's
- 1:57:45Speaker 1: going to return a kick kickoff, and how you know,
- 1:57:49Speaker 1: the longest field goal of the game. And this way.
- 1:57:53Speaker 1: Now now I'm going and I'm saying that because once
- 1:57:57Speaker 1: you take the veil from someone that I'm not throwing
- 1:58:03Speaker 1: the game, they feel very comfortable. And now see, this
- 1:58:07Speaker 1: is the thing sports job. Then I'm not.
- 1:58:12Speaker 5: And what has made it, what has made it so
- 1:58:15Speaker 5: appealing is from the beginning of sports competition, there have
- 1:58:20Speaker 5: been people who have been trying to rig the game.
- 1:58:26Speaker 5: But the big obstacle was that that meant having to
- 1:58:31Speaker 5: throw the game because there was no middle ground. There
- 1:58:36Speaker 5: was only win and loss. So the only way I
- 1:58:38Speaker 5: could profit is if you lost and I bet for
- 1:58:41Speaker 5: you to win something like that. But now with this
- 1:58:46Speaker 5: prop stuff, all I have to do is just rig
- 1:58:51Speaker 5: the game. You don't have to lose, and we can
- 1:58:54Speaker 5: all win big.
- 1:58:56Speaker 1: And that's what I'm saying. That's the part that will
- 1:58:59Speaker 1: make this content you, yes, because the only thing that's
- 1:59:02Speaker 1: ever been feared is you're gonna come and propose me
- 1:59:05Speaker 1: that I have to throw the game. Nah, you're just
- 1:59:08Speaker 1: saying you need me in the third quarter to throw
- 1:59:10Speaker 1: it interception. Wait, now that's and you're saying, so just
- 1:59:15Speaker 1: don't want me to hit him with the Jameis Winston.
- 1:59:18Speaker 5: Just I'm saying that because I've already thrown four touchdowns,
- 1:59:23Speaker 5: I could throw one interception in the third quarter, in
- 1:59:27Speaker 5: the third quarter without losing the game.
- 1:59:30Speaker 1: And you say, I get how much seven hundred and
- 1:59:33Speaker 1: fifty thousand, that's.
- 1:59:38Speaker 5: Seventy five hundred dollars. No, no hold on, that's moting that,
- 1:59:44Speaker 5: ain't it. And that's what you're broking it down. And
- 1:59:48Speaker 5: then you're throwing that interception. Yeah, you're gonna do that,
- 1:59:50Speaker 5: and that's the veil. I'm telling you that being in
- 1:59:53Speaker 5: it as an athlete, the scary storyline was always somebody
- 1:59:58Speaker 5: was gonna step to you to lose a game, and
- 2:00:05Speaker 5: but just telling me, I gotta give up a sack,
- 2:00:09Speaker 5: but we can still go up and okay, now, so
- 2:00:12Speaker 5: I can give commands your greg a sack in the
- 2:00:15Speaker 5: second quarter.
- 2:00:16Speaker 1: Right, Okay, now that's how kidd is thinking. But I
- 2:00:20Speaker 1: can win the game though, because he'll never get anything else,
- 2:00:23Speaker 1: because you won't get anything else. And now this is
- 2:00:27Speaker 1: the thing. How soon before the correction back the other way,
- 2:00:30Speaker 1: if that'll be quick or we're just gonna have cases
- 2:00:33Speaker 1: like this all over, especially in a game like basketball
- 2:00:37Speaker 1: and games like that where you can really it's harder
- 2:00:40Speaker 1: in football because I didn't know you was gonna throw
- 2:00:42Speaker 1: me the ball, So it's hard for me to drop
- 2:00:44Speaker 1: the ball because I might not get the ball thrown
- 2:00:47Speaker 1: to me in the first quarter. But in basketball, where
- 2:00:50Speaker 1: everything is in there and we are in notion, the
- 2:00:58Speaker 1: truth is he will throw yours to the ocean.
- 2:01:01Speaker 2: It's time to rap things up on the Sports Junk
- 2:01:04Speaker 2: Show with Wade Candy.
- 2:01:36Speaker 1: When you decided an ocean it gives us one shot
- 2:01:39Speaker 1: chests a minute to Ben. We'd like to thank you
- 2:01:41Speaker 1: for tuning in to today's show any minute, any segment
- 2:01:44Speaker 1: in the hour. We appreciate it. Once the show goes off,
- 2:01:48Speaker 1: you can go to Apple Podcast, Amazon Podcast, Audible, Deezer, iHeartRadio,
- 2:01:55Speaker 1: or Spotify and hear the replay. Come at you, Greg,
- 2:01:58Speaker 1: big Kitty, Thank you for your contributions today. If you
- 2:02:04Speaker 1: didn't know, let me let you know. You can't vape
- 2:02:13Speaker 1: in the classroom, just like you can't pull up porn
- 2:02:18Speaker 1: down in Miami. Remember just a month ago we had
- 2:02:22Speaker 1: to throw him in the ocean. He was watching porn
- 2:02:26Speaker 1: doing break in the classroom. Can't do that, obviously, y'all
- 2:02:31Speaker 1: must not be having an HR meeting before the school year.
- 2:02:35Speaker 1: Can't pull up porn in the classroom, and you can't
- 2:02:39Speaker 1: be a teacher and vape in the classroom either. Let
- 2:02:48Speaker 1: Onia High School here in the Cab County, Georgia teacher
- 2:02:56Speaker 1: seen in video. She wasn't just maybe she would keep
- 2:03:00Speaker 1: keying in haha with her fake like it was legal.
- 2:03:05Speaker 1: I was like thinking, if you just wanted to be fired,
- 2:03:09Speaker 1: just go out there. It wouldn't just go slap the
- 2:03:12Speaker 1: principal or something. They don't have to like smoke in
- 2:03:15Speaker 1: the class with the kids and laughing. Maybe y'all should
- 2:03:20Speaker 1: get away from T shirt Fridays and stuff and get
- 2:03:23Speaker 1: back to miss missus kind of dress cold. Maybe that's
- 2:03:30Speaker 1: part of it. She looked like she was just there
- 2:03:32Speaker 1: to drop off some pizzas. Wow, but she actually was
- 2:03:35Speaker 1: the teacher bafing in the classroom. They have put her
- 2:03:39Speaker 1: on administrator leave for now, which I don't know what
- 2:03:43Speaker 1: else you need, Big Kenny Kamans, I don't know what
- 2:03:47Speaker 1: else you need. It's a video. They ain't got me
- 2:03:51Speaker 1: on tape, still in no box. But Lathonia High School
- 2:04:00Speaker 1: teacher fuck up Plank. That's where it started.
- 2:04:16Speaker 5: Commns smoking with the key, I mean, but we didn't
- 2:04:21Speaker 5: do with the kids, all right, from the Sports Shock Show.
- 2:04:28Speaker 5: I ain't saying no babies around the kids, even to
- 2:04:32Speaker 5: smoke around the kids. Older key from the Sports Shop Show.
- 2:04:36Speaker 5: We hope, good afternoon. We'll see you later in the week.
- 2:04:39Speaker 1: Peace.
