- 0:00Speaker 1: It's the Mark Simone Show, Live from the wor Life
- 0:04Speaker 1: Back Studios.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Well, hey, if you're just joining us, you missed the
- 0:10Speaker 2: first hour. It's nine to noon every day, nine to noon,
- 0:13Speaker 2: three hour, three hours. There are nine to noon every day,
- 0:17Speaker 2: and we got a lot to get to. This hour.
- 0:19Speaker 2: We're talking about the Straight of hor Moose before President
- 0:24Speaker 2: saying it's now totally demned. As I've mentioned before, the
- 0:28Speaker 2: Straight of horn Moose is open. It has been opened
- 0:31Speaker 2: all along, maybe half open. Nine million barrels a day
- 0:35Speaker 2: are coming through. Normally it's twenty but nine million barrels
- 0:38Speaker 2: are coming through, and the President pointing out they've totally
- 0:43Speaker 2: demined it. There are no more mines in the water.
- 0:45Speaker 2: They got these ships and all sorts of underwater drones
- 0:49Speaker 2: and technology that can find them. Apparently they've gotten them
- 0:52Speaker 2: all out. So nine million barrels a day, that'll probably
- 0:55Speaker 2: increase to twelve fifteen million barrels a day. And that's
- 1:00Speaker 2: the one reason, the fact that it's been open and
- 1:02Speaker 2: oil has been coming through half the usual a month.
- 1:05Speaker 2: But that's the reason the price of oil has not spiked.
- 1:08Speaker 2: It's up a little, but it hasn't spiked. Now you
- 1:11Speaker 2: got to remember, whatever the president does, he's going to
- 1:14Speaker 2: get attacked for it. The fake news, the Trump haters,
- 1:18Speaker 2: they will attack him whatever he does. Doesn't matter what
- 1:22Speaker 2: he does. Now, there's a good side to that. If
- 1:25Speaker 2: you're president Trump means you can do whatever the hell
- 1:26Speaker 2: you want. You don't have to worry about it. You know,
- 1:28Speaker 2: every other president had to worry, Oh, if I do this,
- 1:30Speaker 2: I'll attack me. If I do that, I'll get bad press.
- 1:33Speaker 2: He doesn't have to worry about it's going to get
- 1:35Speaker 2: bad press no matter what he does. So he's decided
- 1:37Speaker 2: to reduce the number of troops we have in Korea.
- 1:41Speaker 2: We have a pretty good relationship with North Korea with
- 1:44Speaker 2: a little lunatic there. And remember that guy's got nuclear weapons.
- 1:48Speaker 2: He actually possesses them. But President Trump has charmed him,
- 1:52Speaker 2: and believe it or not, Kim Jong un has behaved himself,
- 1:55Speaker 2: at least with the US. So we don't have to worry.
- 1:58Speaker 2: So we keep troop Since South Korea a lot of troops,
- 2:02Speaker 2: and the president decided it's so many troops, we could
- 2:05Speaker 2: reduce that, and he's reducing it a little. It makes sense,
- 2:10Speaker 2: but the attacks begin. They're coming after him. They're attacking
- 2:15Speaker 2: him for reducing the troops in South Korea.
- 2:18Speaker 3: While we take our foot off the gas for this
- 2:21Speaker 3: particular exercise, potentially reducing readiness, reducing the conventional deterrence effect.
- 2:27Speaker 3: North Korea continues on their happy way, strengthening their military.
- 2:31Speaker 2: That's it. They're attacking him for reducing the troops. Now,
- 2:34Speaker 2: let's just say last week he announced he's increasing the
- 2:37Speaker 2: troops there. This same guy would have been attacking him.
- 2:41Speaker 2: It would have denounced it every day. All would have
- 2:44Speaker 2: announced wise he increasing troops there. So it doesn't matter
- 2:47Speaker 2: what he does. Take building the ballroom. Who could get
- 2:52Speaker 2: mad about this? Even if you hate the guy, you
- 2:57Speaker 2: got to admit the one thing he's good at is billuilding.
- 3:00Speaker 2: That's his main talent. He's a great builder. He builds
- 3:03Speaker 2: spectacular things. Look around New York. Look at that building
- 3:08Speaker 2: in Columbus Circle. Look at all the buildings along the
- 3:10Speaker 2: West Side Highway, look at Trump Tower. Everything he builds,
- 3:15Speaker 2: it's magnificent. He built the greatest hotel in Washington, d C.
- 3:18Speaker 2: It's now the Waldorf, but it was his hotel for years.
- 3:21Speaker 2: But he builds spectacular things. So as long as you
- 3:24Speaker 2: got this guy in the White House, let him build stuff.
- 3:27Speaker 2: I mean, I don't like the Oval office with the
- 3:29Speaker 2: gold and the glitz. It's a little too much in there.
- 3:32Speaker 2: But let him build stuff. Let's say Trump came into
- 3:38Speaker 2: your house. Let's say you invite him to stay at
- 3:39Speaker 2: your house and he never left. He's staying too long.
- 3:42Speaker 2: He's there for months and months. But while he's there,
- 3:46Speaker 2: he built a beautiful addition onto your house. He built
- 3:49Speaker 2: you a whole new kitchen, He built you a whole
- 3:52Speaker 2: new this so that he built you a swimming pool.
- 3:54Speaker 2: You'd be thrilled with the guy. So the ballroom will
- 3:59Speaker 2: be the most magnificent ballroom in Washington, DC. Anytime they
- 4:03Speaker 2: have a big state dinner, I mean a really big
- 4:06Speaker 2: event in the White House, they can't do it in
- 4:08Speaker 2: the East Room because these room only holds like one
- 4:10Speaker 2: hundred and twenty people, not even that much. So big
- 4:14Speaker 2: state dinner, foreign leader, they got to go out in
- 4:16Speaker 2: the lawn and put up a tent. That's what we're
- 4:19Speaker 2: doing all these years in a tent. You know, these
- 4:22Speaker 2: European leaders and the President of France or the King
- 4:25Speaker 2: of England, they're used to the most palatial rooms. They're
- 4:29Speaker 2: not used to sitting in a tent on a lawn
- 4:33Speaker 2: like they're at a bar mitzvah in Great Neck. I mean,
- 4:37Speaker 2: it doesn't work. So he's building the most magnificent ballroom,
- 4:41Speaker 2: and sure enough to get mad at him. They're furious,
- 4:43Speaker 2: how dare you build a magnificent ballroom? Not only that
- 4:47Speaker 2: he decides, they're giving him so much flack about the ballroom,
- 4:50Speaker 2: they'll also make it very very useful military stuff. They'll
- 4:54Speaker 2: put a new state of the art situation room underneath.
- 4:58Speaker 2: On the roof, they'll put a drone, like an airport
- 5:01Speaker 2: for drones. It's amazing what they got militarily going on there.
- 5:05Speaker 2: So it's magnificent. Who could complain about this? But the
- 5:09Speaker 2: fake news everybody, they're furious, they're fuming, how Darry builds
- 5:12Speaker 2: something magnificent at the White House. Here in the courts
- 5:17Speaker 2: keepers stopping the ballroom, slowing the ballroom down.
- 5:20Speaker 4: The people that are opposing the ballroom are people that,
- 5:24Speaker 4: in my opinion, are very disloyal to our country, very
- 5:27Speaker 4: very disloyal to our country. And I think we're doing
- 5:31Speaker 4: very well. We're way ahead of schedule.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Yeah, you could make that case that I understand you
- 5:36Speaker 2: hate Trump. You're a big Trump hater. But if you're
- 5:38Speaker 2: putting that over the welfare of the country or the
- 5:41Speaker 2: White House, yeah, I guess you're I guess you're kind
- 5:45Speaker 2: of a trumpeter. Now you know this battleship the Lincoln,
- 5:50Speaker 2: this aircraft carrier of the Lincoln. It's been out at
- 5:52Speaker 2: sea too long. It's been out there two hundred days.
- 5:55Speaker 2: People are jumping overboard. Well, it turns us one guy
- 5:59Speaker 2: that jumped overboard, and fake news making a big deal
- 6:03Speaker 2: out of this. Why they're committing suicide they're jumping overboard. Well,
- 6:07Speaker 2: first of all, if you check into this, every one
- 6:10Speaker 2: of these aircraft carriers always has somebody jumping overboard. And
- 6:14Speaker 2: it's not a suicide attempt. Apparently, it's like a clinger
- 6:19Speaker 2: in mash and they're trying to get sent home. If
- 6:22Speaker 2: you jump overboard, they'll think you're crazy and send you home.
- 6:24Speaker 2: So that's why some people do it. If you jump overboard,
- 6:27Speaker 2: you'll be quickly rescued, by the way, But the idea
- 6:30Speaker 2: of jumping overboard is they'll send you home. So it
- 6:32Speaker 2: goes on all the time. It has been out at
- 6:34Speaker 2: see a very long time. But but if you talk
- 6:38Speaker 2: to people there, it's fine. Here's the fake news. Why
- 6:42Speaker 2: they're unable to get fresh food, fresh food. It's an
- 6:48Speaker 2: aircraft carrier, it's military food. They're never you could never
- 6:51Speaker 2: leave port and you wouldn't get fresh food. It's a
- 6:53Speaker 2: military kitchen. But they have plenty of food out there.
- 6:57Speaker 2: They can stay out there forever. It's pretty reassureed know
- 7:00Speaker 2: they can stay out there for two hundred days if
- 7:02Speaker 2: they need to. Here's President Trump on this US Lincoln.
- 7:06Speaker 4: It was at a big group and he happened to
- 7:07Speaker 4: be an admiral retired. He said, I've been on ships
- 7:10Speaker 4: are out there much longer than that's there. And I
- 7:13Speaker 4: know people on the Lincoln. They say it's beautifully maintained
- 7:16Speaker 4: and beautifully taken care of. And other people went out
- 7:19Speaker 4: and they found out to be true. It was fake
- 7:21Speaker 4: news reporting from CNN.
- 7:23Speaker 2: It's a lot of fake news. They make up these
- 7:25Speaker 2: whole things. They could you know, all of a sudden,
- 7:27Speaker 2: whatever he did or whatever's happening is it's disaster. It's wrong.
- 7:31Speaker 2: It's then you find out it's been happening every day
- 7:34Speaker 2: for a million years. Here's the General Jack Kean.
- 7:36Speaker 5: I've never seen such misrepresentation in the media of the
- 7:41Speaker 5: actual facts that took place. A soldier fell overboard and
- 7:45Speaker 5: was rescued. They were claiming that multiple soldiers were committing suicide,
- 7:50Speaker 5: not not soldiers, sailers. I don't want to insult the
- 7:52Speaker 5: sailers by calling them soldiers, but the reality is the
- 7:58Speaker 5: misrepresentation is really have been quite significant.
- 8:02Speaker 2: But it's a big problem. You know, a lot of
- 8:05Speaker 2: people a run around this fake news. They think the
- 8:07Speaker 2: economy is a disaster, that this ship is terrible, everybody's
- 8:12Speaker 2: killing them. I mean, all of this is false, but
- 8:15Speaker 2: they just drill this into people's heads. Hey, we're talking
- 8:17Speaker 2: about Jared Kushner before and now listen to this. The
- 8:20Speaker 2: hell are these two thinking? Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump
- 8:24Speaker 2: are now shopping for a home in Malibu. Yeah, they
- 8:31Speaker 2: live in New York. They also have a beautiful home
- 8:35Speaker 2: in Miami, and they're now looking for a house in Malibu. Okay,
- 8:39Speaker 2: New York, that's fine. Trump's are a big part of
- 8:41Speaker 2: New York, Miami. Trump's are loved in Florida. Malibu. Ooh,
- 8:47Speaker 2: they're not going to like you in Malibu. And first
- 8:49Speaker 2: of all, everybody in Malibu, these are all Hollywood people.
- 8:52Speaker 2: These are all media. They're not gonna like you in Malibu. U.
- 8:56Speaker 2: And why do they want a home in Malibu. They're
- 8:58Speaker 2: in Miami. They need Malibu for says the first daughter
- 9:03Speaker 2: and son in law were eyeing high end listings in
- 9:06Speaker 2: the air. They were seen dining at Nobu Noboo everybody
- 9:11Speaker 2: and Nobo hates you. The people that own know who
- 9:14Speaker 2: hate you, They hate that, they hate anything Trump. They're
- 9:17Speaker 2: the most trumped arrangement syndrome group in the world. The
- 9:22Speaker 2: same week, Kushner's brother, Joshua Kushner, he's the guy who
- 9:27Speaker 2: with Bob Iger bought the Lakers. So they say, prepare
- 9:32Speaker 2: to see they call him Javanka. Jared and Ivanka prepare
- 9:37Speaker 2: to see Javanka at the Lakers games a lot and
- 9:42Speaker 2: stay tuned for them to buy a big house in Malibu.
- 9:44Speaker 2: And I don't know what they're thinking. Now he's at
- 9:46Speaker 2: some point they're going to leave politics in the White
- 9:51Speaker 2: House and the Middle East stuff, And is that what
- 9:54Speaker 2: he's thinking. His next move will be California. His brother
- 9:57Speaker 2: buying a piece of the buying the Lakers. He's moving
- 10:01Speaker 2: and getting the house in Malbury. They're looking to take
- 10:03Speaker 2: over something California, Hollywood realm Now it could be. You know,
- 10:06Speaker 2: these guys, especially guys like that, they're in the building business,
- 10:10Speaker 2: real estate, skyscrapers. They plot, They're like the Chinese leaders.
- 10:16Speaker 2: They plot like twenty years out. So they see California
- 10:19Speaker 2: as a total disaster. Who knows, maybe that's what he's plotting,
- 10:23Speaker 2: that California is so disastrous right now that if you
- 10:26Speaker 2: start buying up everything there, you know, ten years from
- 10:30Speaker 2: now it'll be worth a fortune. You know, back in
- 10:32Speaker 2: New York when we had the crisis, the monetary crisis,
- 10:35Speaker 2: the remember it was the a beam early ed Cotch days,
- 10:40Speaker 2: where the city was going bankrupt. The municipal bonds were worthless.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Member Ford, President Ford to the city dropped dead. It
- 10:47Speaker 2: looked like the whole city would go bankrupt and tumble.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Looked horrible. But the smartest guys in the world ran
- 10:53Speaker 2: around buying up all the real estate, brought up every
- 10:55Speaker 2: piece of real estate they could find in Manhattan anywhere
- 10:58Speaker 2: because it was dirt cheap, it was a sale, and
- 11:01Speaker 2: then they made a fortune. Ten years later, Manhattan was
- 11:04Speaker 2: thriving and the real estate was up a billion percent
- 11:07Speaker 2: in fact. So that's maybe what he's thinking about California.
- 11:11Speaker 2: I don't know why else he'd want to be out there.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Speaking of Miami, the hottest place you could live is
- 11:17Speaker 2: Billionaire Bunker. It doesn't sound great, but you know, like
- 11:21Speaker 2: right over here, that way out that window, it's Billionaire's Row.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Here in Manhattan, fifty seventh Street, Billionaire's Row. It's all
- 11:29Speaker 2: those skyscrapers, hundred stories, ninety stories, one after the other.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Billionaires Row. So if you're in Miami, it's a little
- 11:37Speaker 2: island right off Miami. It's called Indian Creek and it's
- 11:43Speaker 2: just an island of mansions. It's a million mansions in
- 11:46Speaker 2: a circle, real I mean serious mansions. And Jeff Bezos
- 11:50Speaker 2: has bought one of them. Mark Zuckerberg has bought one
- 11:53Speaker 2: of them. All sorts of billionaires. Now in the middle,
- 11:57Speaker 2: these mansions are all along the beach. In the middle
- 12:01Speaker 2: is a big, huge country club and it's been there
- 12:04Speaker 2: for a million years. It's the Indian Creek Country Club,
- 12:07Speaker 2: and it was always one of the most prestigious country
- 12:11Speaker 2: clubs in America. I mean, like you know, it's like
- 12:15Speaker 2: Wingfoot and West Cheshire. There's Deepdale in Long Island. There's
- 12:20Speaker 2: Indian Creek in Miami. These are the most exclusive. These
- 12:24Speaker 2: are very serious golf clubs. These are not social things,
- 12:27Speaker 2: the serious golf clubs, so they don't take just anybody in.
- 12:31Speaker 2: But apparently these guys that bought these mansions, Jeff Bezos
- 12:37Speaker 2: and Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates, they're having a hard
- 12:41Speaker 2: time getting in. They can't get into the country club.
- 12:44Speaker 2: They can't get a membership. It's a century old, very exclusive.
- 12:48Speaker 2: They're not looking for big, flashy names. They're looking for
- 12:52Speaker 2: like quiet, old money kind of people. So these guys
- 12:54Speaker 2: are furious they bought the mansion on a billionaire bunker there.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Don't worry. Don't worry. These guys will figure out how
- 13:01Speaker 2: to take it over. Speaking of a Zuckerberg, he's getting
- 13:04Speaker 2: sued in New Jersey, I don't really understand this lawsuit.
- 13:08Speaker 2: They're suing Meta. It's Facebook. Meta owns Facebook and Instagram.
- 13:14Speaker 2: They're suing them for fixing their algorithm so that it
- 13:20Speaker 2: addicts people, it makes you addictive. So what that means
- 13:24Speaker 2: they're playing with the algorithm to make you stay on longer,
- 13:29Speaker 2: and they're suing over that.
- 13:30Speaker 6: Now.
- 13:30Speaker 2: I don't know how I think this will end up
- 13:31Speaker 2: in the Supreme Court, because I don't know how you
- 13:33Speaker 2: can sue over this because everybody does that. Every business
- 13:37Speaker 2: does that. We do it on the radio, they do
- 13:39Speaker 2: it on television. It's done all the time. They do
- 13:44Speaker 2: it in restaurants. Everything is done. They don't have algorithms,
- 13:49Speaker 2: but the way they do run the business is to
- 13:51Speaker 2: make you stay longer, or make you do this, or
- 13:53Speaker 2: make you do that. You know, on the radio, when
- 13:56Speaker 2: the commercial is coming up and the guy says, hey,
- 13:59Speaker 2: right after this, we'll be talking about the most expensive
- 14:01Speaker 2: hotel room in the world, and that's called the teas.
- 14:05Speaker 2: That's to get you to stay through the commercial and
- 14:08Speaker 2: keep listening. Everything is designed that way. In the radio,
- 14:11Speaker 2: I was talking about this contest. You could win the
- 14:13Speaker 2: trip to Las Vegas. Remember we said it's at one
- 14:15Speaker 2: o'clock today, you have a chance. It's deliberate. It's always
- 14:18Speaker 2: done that way. We want to get you listening to
- 14:21Speaker 2: at one o'clock. And every radio station where they have
- 14:24Speaker 2: a big giveaway, it's always Thursday morning at eight. Why
- 14:28Speaker 2: is it always Thursday morning at eight Because in the
- 14:30Speaker 2: ratings it's complicated to explain, But in the ratings, that's
- 14:35Speaker 2: we want you. If we get you Thursday morning listening,
- 14:38Speaker 2: it's the best thing for ratings. You know that all
- 14:41Speaker 2: news give us twenty two minutes, we'll give you the world.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Didn't you ever wonder why why is it twenty two minutes?
- 14:45Speaker 2: Why is it twenty minutes? Because of those extra two minutes,
- 14:49Speaker 2: they'll get credit for another quarter hour in the Nielsen ratings.
- 14:52Speaker 2: It's all. Every business does this. It's all designed to
- 14:56Speaker 2: get your listening longer, to get score more points. They
- 15:00Speaker 2: do it in a restaurant. You think they just put
- 15:01Speaker 2: everything on the menu and that's it. That menu is
- 15:04Speaker 2: so scientifically laid out to create illusions of things to
- 15:09Speaker 2: get you to order certain things you wouldn't ordered by
- 15:12Speaker 2: exactly where they place it. You know, the first thing
- 15:15Speaker 2: on the menu is always ridiculously expensive. That's deliberate. So
- 15:20Speaker 2: once you get past this and look at the other stuff,
- 15:22Speaker 2: it doesn't look so it makes it look cheap. And
- 15:24Speaker 2: they put things in a certain spot in the menu
- 15:27Speaker 2: because that's where your eye is going to get. Everybody
- 15:28Speaker 2: does this, so if they do this with Meta, they
- 15:31Speaker 2: could start doing this with everybody. You know, when you
- 15:33Speaker 2: walk into a supermarket, their algorithm is designed to addict you.
- 15:40Speaker 2: You know, why didn't you ever wonder how come the
- 15:42Speaker 2: milk and the eggs, and this stuff's always all the
- 15:46Speaker 2: way in the back. It's far away from the door
- 15:48Speaker 2: as you can get because that's the thing people buy
- 15:50Speaker 2: the most. That's the one thing people are always going
- 15:52Speaker 2: to be coming to get. So by putting it all
- 15:56Speaker 2: the way in the back, it makes you go through
- 15:57Speaker 2: the whole store and look at everything else. They put
- 16:01Speaker 2: certain things on certain shelves because that's what your eye
- 16:03Speaker 2: will see. Every business does this stuff. So, hey, we'll
- 16:06Speaker 2: take some calls next. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 16:10Speaker 2: seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one
- 16:14Speaker 2: zero seven ten.
- 16:15Speaker 1: What's better than two hours of mark?
- 16:18Speaker 2: Someone? Three? About some owned show?
- 16:21Speaker 1: Now nine till noon weekdays seven Tenor.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Hey, let's tick some calls. We always love having new callers.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Have you never called this before? Eight hundred three two
- 16:34Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number? Eight hundred three
- 16:38Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten. Let's go to uh Bonnie
- 16:42Speaker 2: and Tom's river Bonnie?
- 16:44Speaker 7: How you doing him more? I have a question, where's Melania?
- 16:49Speaker 7: I haven't seen her?
- 16:51Speaker 2: Well? What is she supposed to call you? And what's
- 16:53Speaker 2: she supposed to do with?
- 16:54Speaker 7: Oh, she hasn't been on television.
- 16:56Speaker 2: But she doesn't go on television. She's a private person.
- 16:59Speaker 7: She never went on Well I never see her with Trump.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no you do. You can see her with Trump.
- 17:06Speaker 2: She does not go to like when he goes to
- 17:08Speaker 2: dinner in mar a Lago or even in Bedminster, he
- 17:11Speaker 2: goes right into the dining room with all those people.
- 17:13Speaker 2: She can't stand that, so she stays upstairs. She doesn't
- 17:18Speaker 2: like because if you go into the dining room at
- 17:21Speaker 2: mar Alago, ten thousand yenas will jump on you. How
- 17:24Speaker 2: are you howie? She can't stand those people. So but
- 17:29Speaker 2: everything is fine. You'll see a lot of them together.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Just google it Milania Trump and on the Google search
- 17:37Speaker 2: put this week and you'll see pictures of her come up.
- 17:39Speaker 7: All right, thank you?
- 17:41Speaker 2: All right? I mean you have some first ladies you
- 17:43Speaker 2: have like you're Hillary Clinton. She really wanted to be
- 17:47Speaker 2: the president. She was everywhere, every meeting. She would pop
- 17:49Speaker 2: in anytime there was anything going on. She would stand
- 17:52Speaker 2: next to Bill Clinton to get in the picture. But
- 17:54Speaker 2: there's some first ladies like Rosalind Carter not interested, you know,
- 17:58Speaker 2: just kept to herself. Pat h They we're fine. The
- 18:02Speaker 2: marriage of Richard and Pat Nixon was fent but Pat
- 18:05Speaker 2: Nixon did not want to be in any pictures, didn't
- 18:08Speaker 2: want to be public, always hid from that. Mulania is
- 18:11Speaker 2: the same way. You see her father all the time. Though.
- 18:14Speaker 2: If you see pictures of Trump and there's an older
- 18:16Speaker 2: guy next to him, that's Mulania's father. In fact, if
- 18:19Speaker 2: you look at the pictures of this weekend at Bedminster
- 18:23Speaker 2: the golf club, there Trump is having dinner with a
- 18:26Speaker 2: Vanka and there's another guy at the table that's Mulania's father,
- 18:29Speaker 2: who Trump is very close to. Let's go to Jerry
- 18:32Speaker 2: in New York. Jerry, how you doing great?
- 18:35Speaker 7: Great? Thanks Mark. I have questions, Boy, aren't the.
- 18:38Speaker 8: I don't know what the Republican agenda is, but why
- 18:41Speaker 8: aren't they pushing how socialism communism and showing pictures what
- 18:45Speaker 8: devastation in the market?
- 18:48Speaker 2: They do they do all the time.
- 18:51Speaker 7: Okay. The other thing is.
- 18:53Speaker 9: God, I already forgot all right, it's.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Tough to remember two things in one week.
- 19:00Speaker 10: Are we there?
- 19:00Speaker 7: Friday at Napa County. I couldn't believe Cash Bettel was there.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Oh, you went to the uh where Trump came to
- 19:08Speaker 2: speak in the Garden City.
- 19:10Speaker 8: It was so it was so bad that I happened
- 19:13Speaker 8: to get in and I just wanted to tell you
- 19:14Speaker 8: those people are so lovely.
- 19:16Speaker 7: They're just so positive. Oh that's wonderful.
- 19:19Speaker 8: Why can't the Republicans bring out that the DSA they
- 19:23Speaker 8: just hate this country.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Well they do. They say it all the time.
- 19:27Speaker 9: They hate where they came from.
- 19:29Speaker 2: The we we know all this, we know all this.
- 19:31Speaker 2: They say it all the time. Republicans they think a messaging,
- 19:34Speaker 2: but they do say it all the time. If you
- 19:36Speaker 2: look at any Republicans, it's good this way. We both
- 19:39Speaker 2: talk at the same time, so it's time. It speeds
- 19:41Speaker 2: everything up. So but the you live in Long Island, right, Yes?
- 19:46Speaker 2: I did. I took a guess what part of Long
- 19:50Speaker 2: Island are you? Oh? Okay, Si Acid's very nice, got
- 19:55Speaker 2: a lot of good stuff, Yes it is.
- 19:56Speaker 7: That's what we most for my daughter's education.
- 20:00Speaker 2: How they talking Sage?
- 20:01Speaker 7: Yeah, I love you, Mark, doing great job.
- 20:09Speaker 2: All right, we love you too, thanks for calling. They
- 20:14Speaker 2: talk like that, and I'm sorry, that's NASA County again.
- 20:17Speaker 2: That's why Milania you never see her at dinner because
- 20:21Speaker 2: a million women will go, yeah, how come you don't anyway,
- 20:25Speaker 2: Let's go to uh Greg and Newark? Greg? How you doing.
- 20:29Speaker 9: Hey, good, good morning, Mark. I just wanted to say
- 20:32Speaker 9: I'm listening to you now again for the first time
- 20:35Speaker 9: in a long time. There's another AM radio station here
- 20:40Speaker 9: in New York.
- 20:41Speaker 2: You're kidding.
- 20:41Speaker 9: And I was listening to him and I just got
- 20:43Speaker 9: so sick of that guy in the morning.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Oh he's okay. He's a nice guy.
- 20:49Speaker 9: His egotistical, got.
- 20:50Speaker 2: A little ego, but he's a nice you know. He's
- 20:52Speaker 2: like a sports guy. Remember Muhammad Ali. It's like a
- 20:55Speaker 2: Muhammad Ali. Muhammad Ali, I am the greatest. It's a
- 20:59Speaker 2: sports kind of thing.
- 21:00Speaker 9: He does a good job. He does a good job
- 21:02Speaker 9: being shatty. He's got great guests.
- 21:04Speaker 2: But he got too many guests, too many guests, you know.
- 21:09Speaker 9: So I'm enjoying to you guys.
- 21:11Speaker 2: All right, well, thanks for thanks for coming over here.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Some shows they got like we don't like the first hour,
- 21:16Speaker 2: we never have any guests because nobody wants to hear
- 21:18Speaker 2: these guests. But some shows got fourteen guests an hour.
- 21:22Speaker 2: As soon as the guest is off, our next guest
- 21:24Speaker 2: is and then sus that guest is off, coming up next,
- 21:26Speaker 2: we have another guess. It's you don't want to be
- 21:28Speaker 2: guest dependent. It's kind of a uh. I mean some
- 21:32Speaker 2: of the guests you want to hear, but half the
- 21:33Speaker 2: guests you don't want to hear. Let's go to uh
- 21:35Speaker 2: Pat in Scarsdale. Pat, how are you doing mark?
- 21:39Speaker 6: For Republicans want to win this argument about women in
- 21:43Speaker 6: men's sports, I mean men and women's sports. Yeah, a
- 21:46Speaker 6: lot of times the visual reference really drives home. So
- 21:49Speaker 6: sure that you have like Dana Perinos standing there in
- 21:51Speaker 6: Jim Shortz dribbling a basketball, and then Shaquille O'Neill comes
- 21:56Speaker 6: to me.
- 21:56Speaker 2: I do realize that this has been None of these
- 22:00Speaker 2: people realize they've been doing this all along. They do
- 22:02Speaker 2: it all the time. They do this.
- 22:04Speaker 6: Yeah, but I mean you have like a giant man.
- 22:05Speaker 2: I know they do this all the time. You know
- 22:08Speaker 2: you're not on Instagram or social media.
- 22:10Speaker 6: Oh no, no, I'm not.
- 22:11Speaker 2: They do it all the time. It's being done constantly,
- 22:14Speaker 2: day and night. You got to go on Instagram. That's
- 22:16Speaker 2: where everything happens. See, the other callers said, you know,
- 22:20Speaker 2: Republicans have to point out how social and they do
- 22:22Speaker 2: it all day and night. But it's all a lot
- 22:25Speaker 2: of people don't realize all of this has taking place.
- 22:29Speaker 2: The whole everything is taking place on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook.
- 22:32Speaker 2: It's that's where it all takes place. And some older
- 22:35Speaker 2: people they don't know. They're just still watching television, which
- 22:38Speaker 2: is a tiny percentage of the population now, but they
- 22:41Speaker 2: do this online. Now. That said, Republicans do have the
- 22:46Speaker 2: worst messaging right now, especially going to the midterms. They've
- 22:48Speaker 2: got to get their act together, just overall messaging. We'll
- 22:52Speaker 2: talk about that next with Howie Carr. He'll be with
- 22:54Speaker 2: us in just a moment. The great talk show host
- 22:56Speaker 2: on seven to ten wo r.
- 23:00Speaker 4: Ark Simon Show on se w O R Well.
- 23:04Speaker 2: One of the very best talk show hosts in America,
- 23:07Speaker 2: Howie Carr. You can hear him on the on iHeartRadio.
- 23:10Speaker 2: You can get him on the iHeart app. You can
- 23:12Speaker 2: get his podcast. Best selling author, he's got some great
- 23:16Speaker 2: books out you can you can get everything at Howie
- 23:19Speaker 2: carrsshow dot com, Howie Carr Show dot com. Howie Carr,
- 23:25Speaker 2: how you doing very good?
- 23:27Speaker 10: I'm looking forward to the uh the primaries in Florida today.
- 23:33Speaker 10: I'm amused at the continuing uh uh, you know, self
- 23:38Speaker 10: immolation of the Democrat Party.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Hey, Debbie Washerman Schultz, who was quite prominent, but not
- 23:45Speaker 2: for the last few years. She's up for what for
- 23:48Speaker 2: the primary tonight, she could get knocked out.
- 23:49Speaker 10: Yeah, I don't think she can't. I don't think she could.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Really.
- 23:53Speaker 10: They're about the three or four black Canada that's running,
- 23:56Speaker 10: including the the the Haitian American woman who was to resign.
- 24:00Speaker 10: She you know, she's stole five million COVID welfare and
- 24:04Speaker 10: then youth at the finance her campaign and then they
- 24:08Speaker 10: redistricted it. So I think there's like three or four
- 24:11Speaker 10: black candidates running saying that you know, they're blacker than
- 24:15Speaker 10: the other candidates. So but they you know, they just
- 24:17Speaker 10: have to stop that Bie Wasserman Schuld. So all she
- 24:20Speaker 10: needs is to get you know, like twenty five thirty percent.
- 24:22Speaker 10: I think she's I think she's going to pull it,
- 24:24Speaker 10: pull it out pretty pretty easily actually. And it's it's
- 24:30Speaker 10: it's funny you know that you know, they're throwing all
- 24:31Speaker 10: this stuff back at her. You know that the Democrat
- 24:34Speaker 10: Party has been throwing as Republicans. You know, it's this
- 24:37Speaker 10: is the white face of racism, and you know, we
- 24:40Speaker 10: need you know, we need people who represent us and
- 24:45Speaker 10: look like us. And you know, she's she's having to
- 24:48Speaker 10: you know, a parrot parrot, the basic basic American a rhetoric,
- 24:55Speaker 10: you know, saying we were in a colorblind society. The
- 24:58Speaker 10: other one is you know Austowitz who's like this, you know,
- 25:02Speaker 10: he's a far left uh you know, he's in the
- 25:04Speaker 10: next History, he's prow he's also in Broward County, and
- 25:07Speaker 10: he's you know, he voted against the tax cuts and
- 25:09Speaker 10: all this stuff, but he's he's reasonable on the mid East.
- 25:13Speaker 10: So of course they they're sending a kamikaze d s
- 25:17Speaker 10: A against him too, and it's it's just crazy. And
- 25:20Speaker 10: then and then in the Senate primary, you got a
- 25:22Speaker 10: guy Vinman, you know, he you know, he's uh, you know,
- 25:25Speaker 10: he was one of the you know, he's the twin
- 25:27Speaker 10: brother of the the other Benman who's in Congress. I
- 25:30Speaker 10: forget which one. They were both born in a foreign country.
- 25:34Speaker 10: And they're Jewish and they hate Trump. I mean, in
- 25:37Speaker 10: the old days, like say three years ago, that would
- 25:39Speaker 10: have been enough, wouldn't it. But no, no, he's Jewish,
- 25:44Speaker 10: so they so they so they've got a black Democrat
- 25:46Speaker 10: socialist running against him and for the Senate primary, for
- 25:52Speaker 10: for a for the the Senate seat that actually Moody has,
- 25:59Speaker 10: you know, took over for Rubio. So's I mean, it's
- 26:02Speaker 10: just nutty stuff. So yesterday I was on newsbacks and
- 26:08Speaker 10: they asked me about the you know, Randy Fine, the
- 26:11Speaker 10: Republican congressman up and Tim Waltz's area on the northern coast,
- 26:17Speaker 10: northern northeastern coast, and Randy Fine was a state senator.
- 26:22Speaker 10: He's a Jewish guy, prominent pro Israeli guy. So they've
- 26:25Speaker 10: they've got this this Nazi guy running running against him,
- 26:29Speaker 10: and running these horrible anti Semitic ads against Randy Fine
- 26:34Speaker 10: and calling him a fat Jew and all this stuff,
- 26:36Speaker 10: and in the ad, and and so I was on
- 26:39Speaker 10: with some Democrat consultant and I said, you know, I
- 26:42Speaker 10: said to the host of news, I said, you know
- 26:45Speaker 10: this guy Bilzarian, that's the guy running against Fine. And
- 26:47Speaker 10: he said, you know what his big problem is, he's
- 26:50Speaker 10: running in the wrong party primary. He didn't be a
- 26:52Speaker 10: front runner in the Democrat primary if he was running.
- 26:56Speaker 10: You know, they I didn't like that very much, but
- 26:58Speaker 10: you know it's it's true.
- 27:00Speaker 2: This anti semitism, I mean, open, blatant, vicious, ugly anti semitism.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Where the hell did this come from I don't remember
- 27:07Speaker 2: that any trace of this ever until a couple of
- 27:09Speaker 2: years ago.
- 27:11Speaker 10: Yeah, I don't know. I don't know what it is.
- 27:13Speaker 10: You know, someone I think that's speculation. You know, when
- 27:17Speaker 10: when bb net Yaho said that Trump was the best
- 27:21Speaker 10: friend to Israel, the best president is Israel had ever had,
- 27:26Speaker 10: you know, since since it's founding that that's when they
- 27:30Speaker 10: turned on on on Israel. If if Trump was going
- 27:36Speaker 10: to help Israel, know they had to be against Israel.
- 27:39Speaker 10: It's like they always say, if Trump found a cure
- 27:41Speaker 10: for cancer, they'd be screaming about what about all the radiologists,
- 27:45Speaker 10: about all the oncologists that are out of business? You
- 27:48Speaker 10: know now and it really is true, and you know,
- 27:52Speaker 10: it's almost like the same thing. There's a reverse happening.
- 27:54Speaker 10: It is if you if you've read any stories about this.
- 27:57Speaker 10: But you know net Ya, who's involved in this really
- 28:00Speaker 10: tight race for re election and this scan Let's it's
- 28:03Speaker 10: a lot like the American elections recently. And you know
- 28:07Speaker 10: he he was trying to link himself to Trump, but
- 28:11Speaker 10: now he's decided that even better than linking himself to
- 28:15Speaker 10: Trump is to declare that he's the the the the
- 28:19Speaker 10: implacable foe of Mambanni. You know, so Mambani is appearing
- 28:25Speaker 10: on hillboards with like the Mullahs, you.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Know, a lot.
- 28:31Speaker 10: That's you know, he's running against the that's who he's
- 28:35Speaker 10: running against. Everything is everything is upside down?
- 28:38Speaker 9: Mark. Yeah.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Hey, so the Democrats got to you know, their message
- 28:42Speaker 2: is we hate Trump, we hate Israel, we hate I mean,
- 28:46Speaker 2: what is the Republican message. It's not clear enough. What
- 28:49Speaker 2: is the actual Republican messaging going into the mid terms.
- 28:53Speaker 10: I know, I saw I saw a cartoon today it
- 28:55Speaker 10: said that the twenty twenty six mid term ballot uh,
- 29:00Speaker 10: communism and common sense. But that's you know, you can't
- 29:03Speaker 10: really I mean, that's that's what it boils down to.
- 29:05Speaker 10: But it's hard to it's hard to make that pitch.
- 29:08Speaker 10: I mean, I think, isn't it kind of like they
- 29:13Speaker 10: were crazy the last time they had the power? Look
- 29:17Speaker 10: what they did.
- 29:17Speaker 9: I mean, isn't it.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Isn't that it?
- 29:19Speaker 10: You we can't we can't let them, let them regain power.
- 29:23Speaker 10: I mean, look at look at AOC trying to make
- 29:25Speaker 10: a joke out of a woke uh you know, woke one.
- 29:28Speaker 10: Oh you know, and oh it was crazy and and
- 29:32Speaker 10: and you know now, now Chris Cuomo is claiming to
- 29:35Speaker 10: be a victim, you know, because he because you know,
- 29:39Speaker 10: Adam Carolla and those people are playing these cuts of
- 29:41Speaker 10: him talking about you know, uh, canceling everybody who didn't
- 29:45Speaker 10: want to get a vaccine and denying them hospital treatment
- 29:48Speaker 10: and all this. You know this this isn't like you
- 29:51Speaker 10: you know something, you know, you know, you you're you're
- 29:55Speaker 10: slow off the off of when the light turns green
- 29:58Speaker 10: and the guy behind your hanks the horn. You know, yeah,
- 30:01Speaker 10: I mean that's something you can forget in like ten seconds, right,
- 30:04Speaker 10: you just flip in the berth, you move on your way.
- 30:06Speaker 10: I mean, when people try to take away your livelihood,
- 30:09Speaker 10: you know, destroy your kids schooling, don't let you see
- 30:13Speaker 10: your parents or your grandparents when they're dying. I mean,
- 30:17Speaker 10: and just impose this this insanity on you when you're
- 30:20Speaker 10: supposed to just walk away from it. I mean, I think,
- 30:23Speaker 10: you know, I think playing cup covid is is one
- 30:26Speaker 10: way to remind people of And that's the whole thing
- 30:29Speaker 10: about Fauci, don't I don't think. I don't think the
- 30:31Speaker 10: Fauchi was an overreaction at all. I think that was
- 30:34Speaker 10: that is and I think it's continued needs to be
- 30:38Speaker 10: done to bring this guy to the bar of justice
- 30:41Speaker 10: as best we can.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Yeah. Boy, those diaries, I mean I knew the guy
- 30:44Speaker 2: was a weaseler. I didn't think he was that bad.
- 30:46Speaker 2: And you read those diaries. This guy was a lying, thieving,
- 30:50Speaker 2: rotten Yeah.
- 30:52Speaker 10: And he had the soul of a teeny bomber too.
- 30:54Speaker 10: I mean, the guy's eighty years old and he's fawning
- 30:57Speaker 10: over these these Hollywood nitwits. It's pitiful.
- 31:01Speaker 2: And he bragged about how fun it was to have
- 31:04Speaker 2: dinner with Jake Tapper. You ever had to talk to
- 31:06Speaker 2: Jake Tapper. It's not exactly New Year's Eve with this guy.
- 31:10Speaker 10: Hey, they were. They were going back and forth between
- 31:12Speaker 10: their houses. Oh, I've got to have you over at
- 31:15Speaker 10: my house. Yeah, I'll show you my masks.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Well, Howie carved great as always. Uh Now, hey, I
- 31:25Speaker 2: love your books. What's the latest book that people should get?

- 31:40Speaker 10: we have these horrific speaking of anti Semitic, anti anti black,
- 31:44Speaker 10: anti woman, these horrible texts that have been released from
- 31:48Speaker 10: the from the state police that that have been forced
- 31:51Speaker 10: out in the wake of this terrible scandal where they
- 31:53Speaker 10: tried to frame a woman for a murder if she
- 31:55Speaker 10: didn't commit And and then I also threw in a
- 31:58Speaker 10: lot of my columns about political corruption in Massachusetts and
- 32:02Speaker 10: and just buffoonery and the Kennedy's and and I threw
- 32:04Speaker 10: on some un collected columns about them mafia. And it's
- 32:08Speaker 10: I think it's a I think it'd be a pretty
- 32:10Speaker 10: good read. And there there are a lot of a
- 32:11Speaker 10: lot of pictures in it. And you can order right
