  Full and faithful. There are days when you can do
• 0:14
  everything on your list and still feel empty inside.
• 0:18
  You can be busy, productive, surrounded by people and still
• 0:21
  carry a hunger that nothing around you seems able to fill.
• 0:25
  Proverbs chapter 13 verse 25 says the righteous has enough to
• 0:30
  satisfy his appetite. Psalm chapter 40 verse 4 says
• 0:35
  blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust.
• 0:38
  And in Mark chapter 6 verses 42 to 43, after Jesus feeds the
• 0:42
  crowd, we are told they all ate and were satisfied.
• 0:47
  That word satisfied is beautiful.
• 0:50
  Not distracted, not temporarily impressed, satisfied.
• 0:54
  Jesus took what seemed too small and turned it into more than
• 0:57
  enough. He fed the crowd and there were
• 0:59
  leftovers. That is what God is like.
• 1:02
  He is not limited by the smallness of what you bring Him.
• 1:05
  He is able to provide, sustain, and satisfy in ways you could
• 1:09
  not create for yourself. But many of us still try to fill
• 1:13
  our emptiness with other things. We chase attention, achievement,
• 1:17
  control, comfort, or constant entertainment.
• 1:21
  We tell ourselves that once we get a little more, feel a little
• 1:24
  more seen, or accomplish a little more than we will finally
• 1:27
  feel full. But those things do not satisfy
• 1:30
  the deepest parts of us. They only distract us for a
• 1:34
  while. Real satisfaction comes from
• 1:37
  trusting the Lord. It comes from knowing that your
• 1:39
  life is held by someone who sees your needs and cares about them.
• 1:44
  It comes from bringing your hunger, your lack, and your
• 1:47
  weariness to Jesus and letting Him meet you there.
• 1:50
  Sometimes He provides by changing your circumstances.
• 1:54
  Sometimes He provides by strengthening your heart in the
• 1:56
  middle of them. Either way, He is faithful
• 2:00
  today. Do not settle for the empty
• 2:02
  promises that keep leaving you hungry.
• 2:05
  Bring your need to the One who still fills hearts, still
• 2:07
  multiplies grace, and still satisfies those who trust Him.
• 2:11
  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank You that
• 2:14
  You are the One who truly satisfies.
• 2:17
  Forgive me for the times I look everywhere else to fill what
• 2:20
  only You can fill. Teach me to trust You with my
• 2:22
  needs, my future and the empty places in my heart.
• 2:27
  Give me peace and place of striving and remind me that Your
• 2:30
  provision is enough for me today.
• 2:32
  Help me stay full in You and faithful to You in Jesus name,
• 2:36
  Amen. What if you could rise up and
• 2:42
  declare with full spiritual authority, I shall not die, but
• 2:46

  like one of the prophets. But Herod, when he heard this,

  said, This is John who might be headed, He has risen from the

  dead. For Herod himself had sent out

  and arrested John, and bound him in prison for the sake of

  Herodias his brother Philip's wife.

  For he had married her. For John had said to Herod, It

  is not lawful for you to have your brother's wife.

  Herodias set herself against him and desired to kill him, but she

  couldn't. For Herod feared John, knowing

  that he was a righteous and holy man, and kept him safe.

  When he heard him, he did many things, and he heard him gladly.

  Then a convenient day came, when Herod on his birthday made a

  supper for his nobles, the high officers, and the chief men of

  herself came in and danced, she pleased Herod and those sitting

  Ask me whatever you want, and I will give it to you.

  He swore to her, Whatever you ask of me, I will give you up to

  mother, what shall I ask? She said the head of John the

  Baptizer. She came in immediately with

  haste to the king and requested, I want you to give me right now
• 9:25
  the head of John the Baptizer on a platter.

  The king was exceedingly sorry, but for the sake of his oaths
• 9:31
  and of his dinner guests, he didn't wish to refuse her.

  Immediately the king sent out a soldier of his guard and
• 9:38
  commanded to bring John's head, and he went and beheaded him in
• 9:42
  the prison, and brought his head on a platter and gave it to the
• 9:45
  young lady, and the young lady gave it to her mother.

  When his disciples heard this, they came and took up his corpse
• 9:53
  and laid it in a tomb. The apostles gathered themselves
• 9:57
  together to Jesus, and they told him all things.

  Whatever they had done and whatever they had taught, He

  said to them, Come away into a deserted place and rest a while,
• 10:08
  for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure
• 10:11
  so much as to eat. They went away in the boat to a
• 10:14
  deserted place by themselves. They saw them going, and many
• 10:18
  recognized Him, and ran there on foot from all the cities.

  They arrived before them and came together to Him.

  Jesus came out, saw a great multitude, and He had compassion
• 10:29
  on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd, and He

  began to teach them many things. When it was late in the day, his
• 10:36
  disciples came to him and said, This place is deserted and it is
• 10:40
  late in the day, Send them away, that they may go into the
• 10:44
  surrounding country and villages and buy themselves bread, for
• 10:48
  they have nothing to eat. But he answered them, you give
• 10:52
  them something to eat. They asked him, shall we go and
• 10:55
  buy 200 denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?
• 10:59
  He said to them, How many loaves do you have?
• 11:02
  Go see. When they knew, they said five
• 11:05
  and two fish. He commanded them that everyone
• 11:07
  should sit down in groups on the green grass.
• 11:10
  They sat down in ranks by hundreds and by 50s.
• 11:14
  He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to
• 11:17
  heaven, he blessed and broke the loaves, and he gave to his
• 11:20
  disciples to set before them. And he divided the 2 fish among
• 11:24
  them all. They all ate and were filled.
• 11:27
  They took up 12 baskets full of broken pieces and also of the
• 11:31
  fish. Those who ate the loaves were
• 11:33
  5000 men. Immediately he made his
• 11:36
  disciples get into the boat and go ahead to the other side to
• 11:40
  Bethsaida, while he himself sent the multitude away.
• 11:44
  After he had taken leave of them, he went up the mountain to
• 11:47
  pray. When evening had come, the boat
• 11:49
  was in the middle of the sea, and he was alone on the land,
• 11:53
  seeing them distressed in rowing, for the wind was
• 11:56
  contrary to them. About the fourth watch of the
• 11:58
  night he came to them walking on the sea, and he would have
• 12:01
  passed by them, but they, when they saw him walking on the sea,
• 12:06
  suppose that it was a ghost, and cried out, for they all saw him
• 12:10
  and were troubled. But he immediately spoke with
• 12:13
  them and said to them, Cheer up it is I don't be afraid.

  He got into the boat with them, and the wind ceased, and they
• 12:21
  were very amazed among themselves and marvelled, for
• 12:24
  they hadn't understood about the loaves, but their hearts were
• 12:27
  hardened. When they had crossed over.

  They came to land at Jenniserat and moored to the shore.
• 12:34
  When they had come out of the boat, immediately the people
• 12:37
  recognized him, and ran around that whole region, and began to
• 12:41
  bring those who were sick on their mats to where they heard
• 12:43
  he was. Wherever he entered into
• 12:47
  villages or into cities or into the country, they laid the sick
• 12:50
  in the marketplaces and begged him that they might just touch
• 12:53
  the fringe of his garment. And as many as touched him were
• 12:57
