- 0:01Hello folks. This is Princess.
- 0:03You are listening to the Millennial Mustard Seed Podcast.
- 0:06Thanks for listening. Don't forget to share with your
- 0:09friends. That's tough.
- 0:11We're in a very tough spot. I think that what we're doing
- 0:15right now is a great benefit and virtue because it's an end
- 0:19around between this whole corrupt informational system,
- 0:23media system. We claim to believe in a God who
- 0:27spoke the universe into existence.
- 0:29And literally raised himself from the dead.
- 0:32And yet, we are not going to believe that anything else
- 0:35exists in the spirit realm, even though His word tells us that
- 0:38they do. Their bodies weren't permitted
- 0:41to go to sleep like humans do, and they weren't permitted to go
- 0:45to heaven, So they wander the. Earth.
- 0:49You know. I've seen the eyes turn.
- 0:50Black to unknown tongues being spoken, these giants would live
- 0:56way up in the Highland. The young Braves, the young men
- 0:59would hide him in the trees and wait for one of these 12 footers
- 1:02to come walking down the path, and they would jump on him and
- 1:05kill him, drag him back to the village and the village would
- 1:08feast on the body. Freedom.
- 1:15Then people start to get weapons.
- 1:16They start to get armor, they start to build cities.
- 1:18They start to fortify their cities.
- 1:20Now God looks down and there's violence everywhere.
- 1:24The battle, this war that we are at, is not against each other.
- 1:28It's against these principalities and these rulers
- 1:30and these archons in the high places.
- 1:32It's really worthwhile to read the Bible yourself.
- 1:35Fear is one of the primary drivers of mind control, because
- 1:40we have to take every thought captive and resist fear.
- 1:47You're going to have a testimony that is a justice case against
- 1:52the Kingdom of Darkness. Welcome back to the Millennial
- 2:06Mustard Seed Podcast. I'm your host, Rod.
- 2:08And thank you for being here with me for another awesome
- 2:11episode. Now this is an interview I did
- 2:15on Hospice Encounters, Piercing the Veil with Marie.
- 2:18She has an awesome podcast where she dives into Hospice
- 2:22encounters literally sharing stories from the R NS
- 2:25perspective. People that may have survived or
- 2:28just all the unique experiences of people that are leaving this
- 2:31temporary earthly vessel and moving on to the next realm.
- 2:35She reached out to me. She wanted to interview me on
- 2:38her show. She's been listening to the
- 2:40Millennium Muscle Seed for a while now.
- 2:42So I hope you guys enjoy this. I know I've talked about my near
- 2:45death encounter a lot recently, but I do jump into a bit more
- 2:49than the near death encounter in this cool short episode.
- 2:53Here I talk about my daughter Sienna's experience a little bit
- 2:57more in depth, I guess you could say.
- 2:59And I also share a vision that I had about four years ago, give
- 3:04or take. So please go over to Hospice
- 3:07Encounters Piercing the Veil with Marie and leave her a 5
- 3:11star rating review and check out some of the content she's got.
- 3:14It's really good stuff. You guys, please leave me that
- 3:17five star rating and review. Write me a review on Apple
- 3:21Podcast. I'm going to do an episode here
- 3:23soon, reading the reviews on Apple podcast because we have so
- 3:27many awesome people. Who have written us?
- 3:29Reviews over the years. And if you guys want to partner
- 3:32with me, you can find the details in the show notes.

- 4:00more time. This is a super cool mini
- 4:02episode with Marie from Hospice Encounters Piercing the Veil,
- 4:07and I'm ready to jump right into it.
- 4:09So let's go. Welcome to Hospice Encounters.

- 4:28By hearing from others encounters, no matter what
- 4:30season you may be in. Welcome to Hospice Encounters.
- 4:35Tonight we're going to Pierce The Veil with a testimony from
- 4:38Rod Smith for Millennial Mustard Seed Podcast.
- 4:42Welcome, Rod. It is an honor to be here with
- 4:46you. Thank you for having me.
- 4:47Yes, thank you. Well, I think I am going to just
- 4:52let you take the floor and tell us your testimony.
- 4:57Yes, so. The way it started with me is I
- 4:59I didn't grow up in the church. We were Easter, Christmas
- 5:03Christians, if I could say it like that.
- 5:05And but I've always kind of had a supernatural life and so a few
- 5:08things happened along the way. But one of the big things that
- 5:12definitely fits your show is I had a near death encounter about
- 5:1619 or 20 years old. I had gotten jumped by about 8
- 5:21different guys at the time and it wasn't just a black guy.
- 5:24They pretty much beat me into the ground.
- 5:27And I guess you could say I was riding the veil, was didn't
- 5:31cross all the way over to the other side.
- 5:34But I started to have an out of body experience and that was a
- 5:38really huge shifting point for me.
- 5:41And I just want to say I really appreciate what you do here on
- 5:45your podcast. I've listened to quite a few
- 5:47episodes and this this is good because.
- 5:50The PTSD and just holding in the experience can be difficult for
- 5:54people to sort of have a place to air out experiences and talk
- 5:58about some of the darker things that have happened.
- 6:01And sometimes they're good stories.
- 6:03I really appreciate that. Thank you.
- 6:05Absolutely. But yeah, for me, Marie, it was,
- 6:08it was interesting because I didn't really have a concept of
- 6:12what would happen after afterlife here on this earth.
- 6:15I I never really thought about it.
- 6:17You know when you're young, we feel invincible, right?
- 6:20We can do anything and and nothing can stop us.
- 6:23And and that's kind of the mentality I had for a long time.
- 6:26But I was definitely humbled. And during my near death
- 6:31encounter, God really used that to open up my eyes to the fact
- 6:35that there's so much going on, so many deeper things than just
- 6:41growing up, living life, figuring out what to do with
- 6:43your life, hanging out with your friends, all the stuff that a
- 6:46late teen would be concerned with.
- 6:48To recount the experience can be difficult at times.
- 6:51I've shared it a few other times on air, OK?
- 6:54And this is something that for years I didn't, I didn't really
- 6:57talk about. It's kind of like everybody I
- 6:59grew up with, they knew the story.
- 7:01And then it just kind of became something where I was like,
- 7:03well, it kind of hurts to go there because mine wasn't bright
- 7:06light encounter, if you will, OK?
- 7:09But I'll just dive into it here and so like I get jumped, I
- 7:13have. Trauma to my face from this,
- 7:17this encounter with these guys. It's it's very late, maybe 2:00
- 7:20in the morning, and I remember just kind of fading out, you
- 7:24know, I couldn't hear anything. I didn't really see anything.
- 7:28And I just remember darkness. And then I was feeling like I
- 7:32was leaving my body, which was really difficult for me because
- 7:35I wanted to stay in my body. I did not want to leave.
- 7:39And as I laid on the pavement. I started to sit up and then I
- 7:44would go to sit back and fall through my body like down into
- 7:48the asphalt and I remember thinking this is not right, I
- 7:52don't want to leave my physical body.
- 7:54It was a shock for me, being I never thought about this before
- 7:57and everything happened so quick but it but it also feels like
- 8:00time slows down and I'm caught in this weird place of trying to
- 8:05sit perfectly within my physical body knowing that.
- 8:09The essence of who I am for my pineal gland all the way down to
- 8:12my solar plexus, the me, my sense of humor, my character, my
- 8:16my energy. Me, right?
- 8:18It's coming out of me and it was traumatizing and there's not
- 8:22much more to it than that, you know?
- 8:24I went to the hospital then and my brain swelled up and tapped
- 8:27the inside of my skull. I didn't see any bright lights
- 8:31during this experience. I didn't have any pain when it
- 8:34was happening. I couldn't even say it was numb.
- 8:37It kind of felt like being in water almost, Marie, like a
- 8:40really super thin pressure. But it just the lingering
- 8:44effects of that right 19 or 20 years old.
- 8:47The PTSD that developed was really probably the hardest
- 8:51thing for me to work through with my near death encounter.
- 8:53The question mark what's really going to happen if I died?
- 8:57I mean I should have died that night.
- 8:59Where would have I went? Who am I really?
- 9:01What am I really made of? These are all things that.
- 9:04Just blasted into my young mind and it really changed my
- 9:07direction of life, OK? It was a very interesting
- 9:11experience for me. Well, let me ask you a few
- 9:13questions. Since I'm a nurse, of course.
- 9:16My brain thinks that way. Yeah.
- 9:20Did you have any, Did you hear any voices?
- 9:22I mean, as as these people, They beat you, but did.
- 9:25So they probably left, left you alone, right?
- 9:28Yeah. Did you hear anything that was
- 9:31that's usually that one sense that we all kind of wonder, Did
- 9:34you hear anything in the natural or in the supernatural?
- 9:38Nothing, OK. It was dead silent and I can't
- 9:41really remember where my hearing completely left.
- 9:44I remember like hearing the commotion and obviously
- 9:46screaming and you know, this was a house party that got crashed.
- 9:50So there was quite a bit of people around when all the this
- 9:52started OK, But when I entered into like this dark Gray.
- 9:57Area where I was no longer in my physical body to be able to move
- 10:02around and operate. I didn't hear anything.
- 10:04Yeah, it was eerily quiet. Did you ask for help?
- 10:08Did you say anything to yourself, or to to the
- 10:11nothingness or? I had this very, very stubborn
- 10:16feeling that I did not want to leave my body.
- 10:20Nope, not going there. I had this feeling I I do not
- 10:23want to leave my body. Not not coming out.
- 10:26I didn't know it was, it wasn't like fear, but it was like, this
- 10:30isn't the normal operation. And that's why I kept trying to
- 10:33sit into my body, Marie, because it's like I I don't know the
- 10:36function. I don't know where I'm supposed
- 10:37to go, what's happening. It just happened so quick that I
- 10:40remember being like, whatever happens, just stay right here
- 10:42with your body, go back into your body.
- 10:44That's that was the wrestling match.
- 10:46And that is frightening to to those who haven't experienced
- 10:49anything like that, to those who have.
- 10:52But that's the fear, you know, to separate in what's what is
- 10:55out there. How did that lead you to your
- 10:59relationship, and I'm assuming a relationship with Jesus.
- 11:03How did that change? When did things change for you
- 11:06after you healed physically from this experience?
- 11:09Yeah, it's quite a long and drawn out story.
- 11:12I always tell everybody I didn't have like my Saul turns into
- 11:16Paul moment. You know, nothing really
- 11:17happened like overnight for me. It was just long process.
- 11:20But I was dealing with the the bigger questions of life.
- 11:24Now I wasn't very much interested in anything else
- 11:27other than trying to work out this experience for quite a few
- 11:30years. I'd say into easily my early
- 11:3220s. I would read books, I looked
- 11:34into different religions. You know, I read the Quran.
- 11:37I read the Bible. I read.
- 11:39You know about Hinduism and the Bhagavad Gita.
- 11:41I mean, you name it. I was diving into all of this
- 11:43different stuff just with this big question mark.
- 11:46What's going to happen when I die?
- 11:48No, no. I had some supernatural
- 11:49encounters when I was younger and and had the inkling I always
- 11:52knew that God was real, but I didn't really have like,
- 11:55parameters, like how do I come to him?
- 11:58How does this look? I mean, yeah, I find myself
- 12:01surrendering my heart to Jesus in a very dark place.
- 12:06And just saying to him, regardless of this outcome,
- 12:08whatever happens, if you are who you say you are, meet me where
- 12:12I'm at. Help me make sense of this.
- 12:14I can't do this on my own. And and that's when the Bible,
- 12:17the Rhema of the Bible started to jump for me.
- 12:20The the living words started to become alive.
- 12:22I started to feel there's so much more here than I've ever
- 12:26been told. And it became this personal
- 12:28relationship where just a year or two later I get baptized in
- 12:32Jesus name and then I I start this process where?
- 12:35And leaving many climaxes out, but just to kind of hit like the
- 12:3830,000 foot view here, it led me to dealing with the strange and
- 12:42the supernatural things, Not being afraid to go there.
- 12:45You know, being like, well, this is my experience and God was
- 12:48helping me work through, hey, there's other strange and
- 12:51supernatural things that other people experience too.
- 12:53And it just got me going deeper. Not needing a license from a
- 12:57pastor or not needing other people to agree with me just
- 13:00being like, you know what, God, this is weird.
- 13:02I don't have a lot of answers, but.
- 13:04But I want to dive into these deeper questions.
- 13:05I want to dive into what your word says and and I'm going to
- 13:09walk on this road with you and see where it goes.
- 13:11And that kind of brings us to today.
- 13:13Well, I want to dive into some of these supernatural
- 13:16experiences because you're skirting around, but there must
- 13:19be some experiences that you could share with my audience,
- 13:23because I really want to help people understand that there is
- 13:26a veil and that we get to go. It's not like we get to go
- 13:31through it, but there's moments that it gets thin.
- 13:34Yeah, this is very true. So.
- 13:36So this is one I've only talked about briefly on my show and I'm
- 13:41still wrestling through what to do with this.
- 13:43But I was seven years old and my aunt, my dad's sister, my Aunt
- 13:47Kanye, was living with us at the time and she was really into the
- 13:50Bible. You're reading it, preaching the
- 13:53word. She was really the only one in
- 13:55the family that was like radical, like the Bible, you
- 13:57know, and talking about the depths of the Scriptures.
- 14:00But as a young 7 year old, I'm. Just sitting there playing with
- 14:03the Batman toy and she's talking with somebody on the phone.
- 14:07And back in the 90s, our phones, if you have younger listeners
- 14:10had long 10 foot long curly cords on some of the house
- 14:13phones, right, right. And I just remember her walking
- 14:16around talking about Jesus and love and light and I was sitting
- 14:21there and in my young 7 year old mind I said if a God like that
- 14:25is real, I will serve him someday and.
- 14:29Marie I In a split second I found myself up in the top right
- 14:34hand corner of the room engulfed in light and I'm looking down at
- 14:40my 7 year old self, looking at myself with this Batman toy and
- 14:44I don't remember what was told to me.
- 14:46I know it was important but I don't.
- 14:48I don't remember what was told to me.
- 14:50I just remember feeling comfort and warmth and feeling like
- 14:53everything was going to be OK, Feeling like everything made
- 14:55sense, but not knowing any of those details of.
- 14:58That makes sense. It's like you got a supernatural
- 15:01download, but you didn't get to keep the memories of it.
- 15:05But you knew it's like you. It's like a flash, right?
- 15:09Oh my gosh, yes. You remember the flash.
- 15:11You remember it being bright, but you don't remember how
- 15:14bright, how long. Maybe those things kind of
- 15:17things. Yeah.
- 15:17And I put it on the back burner and I would hold on to it
- 15:20throughout life. It would just, I would be
- 15:22reminded of it intermittently. And I just it was like this
- 15:25ancient mystery and just wondering like.
- 15:28Longing for, for understanding that, you know, And I would just
- 15:32revisit that experience just in my own mind as years went on.
- 15:36But I never really had anybody to talk to.
- 15:37Like at 7 years old, I didn't have a language for that.
- 15:40I didn't know how to explain it to people, right.
- 15:42And even when I got older, by the time I'm 15 or 16, I'm
- 15:46running around acting like a grown up.
- 15:48And it wasn't the coolest thing to talk about amongst the
- 15:51millennial generation at the time.
- 15:53Absolutely not. But after the near death
- 15:55encounter and then my daughter. Had a significant supernatural
- 16:00encounter that helped helped me face face some things in life
- 16:03too. And these different climaxes
- 16:05really just solidified a a deeper faith within me.
- 16:08So I'll I'll talk really quickly about my my daughter.
- 16:12So I have a set of twins that will be 16 this coming year.
- 16:15OK. And when my daughter Sienna and
- 16:18my son Riley were about 2 1/2 or three years old, we were living
- 16:22in Jacksonville, FL at the time and forgive me this one dusk.
- 16:25Still get me pretty emotional, but.
- 16:28It was a rough spot in life. I was not with their mother, but
- 16:32I was living with the kids and working and her grandmother
- 16:36favored me and was coming to babysit the kids.
- 16:39And it was just the three of us. It was me and these two
- 16:41beautiful, beautiful twins. And I'm still working through
- 16:44PTSD at this time from the out of body experience in the in the
- 16:48very early 20s. OK?
- 16:50And one night my daughter wakes up and comes into my room very
- 16:55late. I forget what time but.
- 16:57Somewhere probably in between 1:00 and 3:00 AM And she's lit
- 17:00up like a light bulb. My thoughts are, what are you
- 17:03doing awake, kid? Like, what is going on?
- 17:05She's smiling and glowing. And she says, Dad, Dad, they're
- 17:09so beautiful. They're so beautiful, Dad.
- 17:12And I'm going, what are you talking about?
- 17:14So I jump up out of my bed. She came from her room across
- 17:17the hall. And I'm looking around just
- 17:19like, why? Why do you look like you've been
- 17:21out running at the park? You know, like you're wide
- 17:23awake. Like, what is going on?
- 17:25I didn't hear you. None of this really makes sense.
- 17:27And she just grabs my hand and says, Dad, they are so
- 17:30beautiful. You should have seen them.
- 17:32Dad, they're gorgeous. I was with them.
- 17:34I was dancing and now I'm like, was somebody out front of her
- 17:37window? What?
- 17:38Like I just, I'm very in the simple place in my mind, like
- 17:41check my doors, check my windows.
- 17:43Somebody tried to steal my baby, you know, and I'm running around
- 17:46and checking everything and she's going, no, no, Dad, Dad,
- 17:48they're so beautiful. It's going to be OK And it that
- 17:52kind of pricked me and I'm like, I get down lower.
- 17:55Eye to eye with her. So I get down onto my knees and
- 17:57I say, Sienna, what happened? And she was lit up like a little
- 18:02light bulb, and she's smiling and she wanted to dance.
- 18:05And she's. Dad, they're so beautiful.
- 18:07It's going to be OK. They're so bright, Dad, they're
- 18:11so bright. She's saying to me And she says,
- 18:14God, heard your prayer, it's going to be OK And at this point
- 18:17in time, I got punched in my gut.
- 18:19Marie. I'm like.
- 18:20What? We don't go to church.
- 18:22I don't read the Bible with you like God.
- 18:26I mean, you know, I'm like wrestling with what's going on
- 18:28here during this time of life. And she says God heard your
- 18:31prayer and it's going to be OK. So out of the mouth of a babe,
- 18:34my daughter is telling me she has this experience with with
- 18:38three beings that were super bright.
- 18:41I remember pointing out the window at a street light at the
- 18:43time because we lived in the city and saying Sienna bright
- 18:46like that. And she said no, no, no Dad.
- 18:48They're so bright. They're so beautiful.
- 18:50She kept just saying how bright and how beautiful they were.
- 18:53And she talks about these three beings that danced with her up
- 18:58in the air above the house and they laughed with her and that
- 19:01they were beautiful and that they wanted her to tell me it
- 19:05was going to be OK weeks before that.
- 19:09Because I had dealt with a lot of suicidal ideations from the
- 19:12PTSD, depression, oppression, big time from.
- 19:16The 1920 year old near death encounter experience and one
- 19:20particular time that the kids weren't home and we had a storm
- 19:23blowing and it was a bad storm in Florida.
- 19:27The banana trees were blowing sideways, kind of storm.
- 19:30I had the front door open and I was beating the ground and
- 19:33screaming and crying out to God, if you're real, you got to
- 19:36answer me. I can't keep going on this way.
- 19:39I don't feel like I belong. I don't feel like I fit in.
- 19:42I have this anxiety of like. What's going to happen when I
- 19:46die? You know, just continual
- 19:48discomfort at that time in life. And I just.
- 19:51I just cried and yelled out to God.
- 19:53Answer me, are you real? I'm trying to pick up a Bible.
- 19:57I'm trying to read. I'm inquiring about you.
- 19:59I just yelling to him, I'm no good.
- 20:01But but are you good like they say you are?
- 20:04And little did I know, God would use the mouth of a babe to
- 20:08confirm this just a few weeks later through this.
- 20:12Angelic encounter that my my daughter had.
- 20:14Wow, that's awesome. And these are, these are the
- 20:18climaxes. And This is why I am who I am
- 20:21today. This is why I dive into the
- 20:22weird. This is why I love listening to
- 20:24other people's stories more, more than I like sharing my own.
- 20:27Because I I'm afraid to get emotional on air sometimes.
- 20:30I'm like, I like listening better.
- 20:32But this This is why I do what I do.
- 20:34So. That's OK.
- 20:36I realized how many stories I had when.
- 20:40I'm doing my podcast for Hospice Explained.
- 20:43And I'm thinking I'll have 20 episodes, I'll be done and you
- 20:47know, I've got over 70. I don't think they're all
- 20:50published, you know, not all published.
- 20:52And then I was like, but I have other stories, how am I going to
- 20:55get them out? So I understand stories and I I
- 20:59really understand not having a platform to share them.
- 21:03So that's why I created my own podcast.
- 21:05So I have my own platform because they are different and.
- 21:10Like you said, you listen to mine.
- 21:12So you probably heard my Angel story.
- 21:14You know, the Guardian Angel story I told one person I think
- 21:18at the time and didn't and they gave me some, you know, well,
- 21:21you should have outdrove them or something.
- 21:23And it's like you can't out. I couldn't.
- 21:26Doesn't work that way. And it was like, no.
- 21:29And it was like it just wasn't. It wasn't a The rational
- 21:33explanations for how to get out of the situation weren't real.
- 21:36Otherwise, I must have needed my guardian Angel.
- 21:39And just like your daughter got to see them, they must have been
- 21:42needed. And God uses what he needs at
- 21:44the time, right. And so, you know, at the time, I
- 21:48needed apparently, protection more than I even realized.
- 21:53But talking about it, yeah, that's the hard part.
- 21:56It's not. Everybody has.
- 21:58I mean, even the faith my my parents grew up Lutheran and
- 22:01they never talked about, you know, a lot of wild and crazy
- 22:05supernatural experiences. Here's the story I've never
- 22:07told. I remember camping and we went
- 22:10and got there like at probably midnight, you know, some crazy,
- 22:13terrible time. And we were having trouble.
- 22:15Like I was probably 7. You know, my parents were trying
- 22:18to set up the tent and it's probably raining.
- 22:20We're in Western Washington and all of a sudden like 4 guys
- 22:24showed up out of nowhere, set up our tent and disappeared.
- 22:28And my mom's like, they must have been angels unaware.
- 22:31And all I could focus on is, well, what does unaware mean?
- 22:35You know, I'm seven. And I thought about that
- 22:37recently, and I thought they might have been, they might have
- 22:40just been nice guys, but they literally, the whole
- 22:43campground's asleep. We're trying to set up these
- 22:45tents in the dark and not try not to wake up everybody.
- 22:48And four guys showed up, put up our tent, and disappeared.
- 22:52And it was kind of like, I don't know if they drove off or, you
- 22:54know, I don't know all those details, but my mom was quite
- 22:57convinced that she got supernatural help and I'm sure
- 22:59she prayed for it. So there you go.
- 23:02That that is a fascinating story.
- 23:04And This is why it's important that we have podcasts like this.
- 23:08We have episodes like this because I've noticed that the
- 23:11campfire stories, right, like people that will sit around in
- 23:14an intimate group, two or three people and sometimes and you'll
- 23:18get the realness from them, right?
- 23:20They'll actually start opening up and sharing crazy
- 23:22experiences, dark experiences, good experiences, dreams,
- 23:25visions. And it's like, but when the week
- 23:27starts, they put on a suit, right?
- 23:29And there's some accountant for some firm in Philadelphia.
- 23:32But like you know, you get to see the realness when you enter
- 23:35into to conversations and intimate setting.
- 23:37Exactly. Well, to be able to do that on a
- 23:40podcast and and to be able to actually I encourage other
- 23:43people, you know, there's there's people out there
- 23:45listening going you know what it's triggering me to remember
- 23:48and giving me a license that it's OK to go there.
- 23:51It's OK to talk about what you experienced and I think that
- 23:54this. It is.
- 23:55It's so important what you're doing.
- 23:57Oh, thank you. I agree.
- 23:59And for those who haven't listened to rods, I really do
- 24:02encourage because I am one of his subscribers on the
- 24:05Millennial Mustard Seed podcast. Did I say that right?
- 24:09Yeah, it's a mouthful. Why don't you tell my audience a
- 24:12little bit more about what you do on your podcast?
- 24:15Yeah, so we're on season four this year.
- 24:17So season five will starts just in a few months here.
- 24:21And the idea was to interview people from a diversity of
- 24:25backgrounds. Like, I don't really take one
- 24:27lane We've covered. Everything's from the giant, the
- 24:30Nephilim, Genesis 64, alien encounters, near death
- 24:33encounters, stories of encouragement, stories of just
- 24:37changing and revelation and dreams and visions and and how
- 24:41people still today are being healed and getting baptized.
- 24:44And it's just seeing the power God move.
- 24:45So it's a really wide spectrum. Quite a interesting number of
- 24:50guests I've had on all the way from the person next door up to
- 24:53theologians, doctors, academia. It's just really a cool podcast
- 24:58to get a big overview of some of these Christian topics, stuff
- 25:02that you will not hear about at your Sunday service or on a
- 25:05Wednesday night. So we like to break down the
- 25:07walls a little bit of the religious, I guess you could
- 25:10say. The denominational preferences
- 25:12do not exist on the millennial mustard seed.
- 25:14We we go everywhere and discuss everything, so.
- 25:18I don't think God has denominations either.
- 25:20He He definitely doesn't. So this is good.
- 25:23I agree. I agree.
- 25:24I just really do encourage everyone to listen to Rod's
- 25:27podcast. It is very good.
- 25:29I've been listening for a while now and I enjoy it a lot too.
- 25:33Well, Rod, do you have any other piercing The Veil Supernatural
- 25:38encounters that you, you might think weren't that big of a
- 25:41story, but, you know, you might encourage somebody by sharing
- 25:44it. Yeah, I had a vision a few years
- 25:47ago. This is actually.
- 25:49I shared it on one of the very early episodes of the podcast,
- 25:53and I was driving from New York City to where I live in
- 25:56southeastern Pennsylvania, which is about an hour and a half
- 25:59drive at that time. And it was right before, I
- 26:03believe it was July 4th. And I was thinking about the the
- 26:07men who had went down and laid their lives for this freedom
- 26:10that everybody likes to talk about, but we don't really know
- 26:13what happened or what the meaning of it was anymore.
- 26:16It's kind of been lost in in our culture and I get this download
- 26:20while I'm on the Interstate and I looked around and there was
- 26:24just fire out in the distance. It's just everything was being
- 26:28engulfed in fire and I was in the middle of this valley.
- 26:31So I'm viewing myself and I had sweat pouring down off of me and
- 26:35my veins are popping out of my arms and my neck and and I look
- 26:38like I'm straining and I cry up to God and I say, Lord, where
- 26:43are you? And and I look up and there's
- 26:45the cross. I just see the cross and blood
- 26:47drips down off of it and hits my right shoulder.
- 26:50And immediately I felt comfort. And that's one little, one
- 26:54little thing that I've held onto that that I remember from time
- 26:58to time. And I just want to encourage
- 26:59your audience that if you guys had visions or dreams, we we
- 27:02test the spirit. You know, the word of God
- 27:05encourages us. Test the spirit.
- 27:07Test these things out. Go to the throne room of grace
- 27:10and time of help, inquire, talk with God.
- 27:12Lord, are you using this to teach me, to encourage me to get
- 27:15my focus right. And God works in mysterious
- 27:18ways. So I just really quick want to
- 27:19read this verse from Psalm 60, Verse 61.
- 27:23Hear my cry. O God, attend to my prayer from
- 27:27the end of the earth. Will I cry unto thee.
- 27:29When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is
- 27:32higher than I. Nice, I agree.
- 27:35Test him. Ask.
- 27:37Don't just assume a spirit or a supernatural experience is from
- 27:40God, because I agree it's they're not all from God.
- 27:44Exactly. You have to be careful and test
- 27:46the spirits and just. You know, be careful.
- 27:49You don't want to search out for the wrong experience either.
- 27:52Very well said. Yeah and and he tells us to come
- 27:55to him anytime any time of the day night he's there.
- 27:58For us there there's power in the name of Jesus and and thank
- 28:02you so much for having me to just air some of these topics
- 28:05out and. Oh, you're welcome.
- 28:07I was a little bit nervous in the beginning because they're
- 28:10emotional and I'm like every time I'm like, I don't want to
- 28:13get stuck in this place in my head where I kind of lose, lose
- 28:16my train of thought or just try to not relive it.
- 28:19But I appreciate your outlet and for you giving me the space to
- 28:23be able to share this on air. Thank you.
- 28:26Well, Rod, you know, sharing your emotions.
- 28:28I think men and women do definitely view it differently.
- 28:32But it is OK to have an emotional response because
- 28:36that's such a it's a big deal. Usually.
- 28:39I think those supernatural experiences are a big deal, like
- 28:42my other supernatural experience that was so big where I saw
- 28:46what. Could be.
- 28:47I don't know if you heard this one, but like a Stargate
- 28:50essentially is what I would say I saw.
- 28:52I didn't think about it at the time that it was Stargate, but
- 28:55you know, I didn't say a word to anybody for probably two or
- 29:00three years, You know, I might have.
- 29:03I don't think I said anything to anybody.
- 29:04I don't remember, but and it's not that it was emotional for
- 29:07me, but it's still, it's just Even so some of the stuff is
- 29:12hard to talk about so. You're right, I have opened this
- 29:16up. I do want people reach out to
- 29:18me. e-mail me if you want to talk about these subjects and
- 29:21you want me to listen to your supernatural experiences.
- 29:24I have a podcast and I want to hear it.
- 29:27We want to talk about it. So definitely thank you Rod, for
- 29:30coming on my show. And if you hear this, it might
- 29:33be because I sent the whole show over to Rod's podcast.
- 29:37I'm Rod from the Millennial Mustard Seed Podcast and I spell
- 29:41it MILLENNIAL. Come over and check us out.
- 29:46Hopefully you find something you like.
- 29:48It was an honor to be here with you Marie on Hospice encounters
- 29:52and and the veil thinning, I think that that's super cool.
- 29:55The veil definitely is thinning in this day and age.
- 29:58So stay strange you guys and inquire with the Lord.
- 30:01Read the Bible and keep your eyes and ears open.
- 30:05Be surprised what you can hear and see.
