Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome, everybody.
- 0:00Speaker 2: Wednesday edition. Clay and Buck. Although you'll note just Buck
- 0:04Speaker 2: talking today. Clay is taking a day for travel. We've
- 0:09Speaker 2: got a lot to discuss. Of course, the midterms in
- 0:13Speaker 2: full swing as early voting is happening in a whole
- 0:16Speaker 2: bunch of places, including Texas. So I will leave the
- 0:21Speaker 2: haranguing on this one to Clay. But for those of
- 0:24Speaker 2: you who can vote who have not early voted, perhaps...
- 0:27Speaker 2: worth considering i'm trying to find a time to go
- 0:29Speaker 2: i want to go with carrie with my wife together
- 0:32Speaker 2: i feel like that will be kind of a fun
- 0:33Speaker 2: activity we'll take a nice little stroll down to uh
- 0:36Speaker 2: city hall here in miami beach or i guess it's
- 0:39Speaker 2: the convention center i forget where the voting uh what
- 0:41Speaker 2: they call the voting place but uh we're gonna go
- 0:44Speaker 2: get that early vote done because well of course our
- 0:47Speaker 2: civic duty the beautiful thing the voting that is such
- 0:51Speaker 2: a big part of what it means to be an
- 0:53Speaker 2: american So we're going to get that done, but we're
- 0:55Speaker 2: also going to look closely here at where all these
- 0:58Speaker 2: races currently stand. We have some— I think we're at the
- 1:03Speaker 2: point where we can say some suppression polls coming in.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Big hammering from the New York Times on this New
- 1:11Speaker 2: York Times-Siena poll. They're saying Trump sits 36 percent approval,
- 1:14Speaker 2: 59 percent disapproved. They're saying lowest— that's the lowest that
- 1:19Speaker 2: they've ever polled Trump, and that Democrat voters have an
- 1:22Speaker 2: 11-point favorability. Look, that's a lot of noise at the
- 1:26Speaker 2: national level. First of all, Trump's not actually on the ballot.
- 1:29Speaker 2: I know he's out there. He was in North Carolina yesterday.
- 1:31Speaker 2: We'll get to some of that in a moment. But
- 1:33Speaker 2: this is about the individual members of Congress. This is
- 1:38Speaker 2: about House reps, senators, governors, and some other positions out
- 1:42Speaker 2: there that are very important, especially if you live, well...
- 1:48Speaker 2: important for you if you live in one of the
- 1:49Speaker 2: states affected, but also important for control of Congress and
- 1:53Speaker 2: the next two years of the Trump administration. So I
- 1:57Speaker 2: will tell you, I think it's going to be very tight.
- 1:59Speaker 2: I'm not expecting some, certainly not expecting a red wave.
- 2:02Speaker 2: No one's expecting that. But I believe that you can
- 2:06Speaker 2: see some last minute surge here in some of these
- 2:09Speaker 2: close races that'll deliver some nice wins to Republicans in
- 2:13Speaker 2: some critical places. That's my My sense right now, a
- 2:17Speaker 2: lot of money going into this, of course, still. And
- 2:20Speaker 2: we have not even hit Election Day. Trump was in
- 2:23Speaker 2: North Carolina yesterday. Let me let me start with this.
- 2:26Speaker 2: I'm going to work a little bit through the you
- 2:28Speaker 2: know what? I was going to say good news, bad news.
- 2:30Speaker 2: But who knows? North Carolina turn out big time and
- 2:35Speaker 2: defeat this Roy Cooper guy and give Michael Watley the
- 2:40Speaker 2: big job. That would be a much, much better move.
- 2:43Speaker 2: But let's see where we are. With things Trump was
- 2:46Speaker 2: there yesterday and he, you know, he's kind of doing
- 2:50Speaker 2: a highlight reel. It's really the Trump highlight reel out
- 2:53Speaker 2: there on display for everybody. This is cut for play it.
- 2:56Speaker 3: The choice in this election is very simple. You can
- 3:00Speaker 3: vote for the radical left Democrat communist to loot your wealth,
- 3:04Speaker 3: raise your taxes by five trillion dollars. Annihilate your borders,
- 3:09Speaker 3: decimate North Carolina industries. I mean, look at me, I'm
- 3:13Speaker 3: up here for just a little while and I'm announcing
- 3:16Speaker 3: two companies and the military are gonna be spending, right?
- 3:22Speaker 3: They're gonna mutilate your children, the utilization of your transgender utilization.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Can you imagine that? Give 25 million illegal aliens amnesty,
- 3:35Speaker 3: They're going to have they're still fighting for.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Men playing in women's sports.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Right.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Or or you can defeat the Democrat communist and vote
- 3:44Speaker 3: for more money in your pockets, bigger paychecks for your families,
- 3:49Speaker 3: lower taxes, less crime, a booming North Carolina economy. No
- 3:55Speaker 3: amnesty for illegal aliens. But to do that, you must
- 4:00Speaker 3: vote Republican.
- 4:02Speaker 2: It's all true. And those are areas of high voter
- 4:07Speaker 2: concern right now. The highest, of course, the economy, but
- 4:10Speaker 2: also on the borders and crime economy borders crime. We
- 4:13Speaker 2: talk about it a lot here on the show. I
- 4:15Speaker 2: would say the first of all, Trump is in a
- 4:19Speaker 2: place where if he wants to say utilization, I think
- 4:24Speaker 2: he's probably able to coin the term. Maybe that will become.
- 4:29Speaker 2: word on its own. I believe he means mutilation, but
- 4:31Speaker 2: he keeps saying mutilization. But because he's Trump, I think
- 4:34Speaker 2: it might sort of catch on. I actually didn't know,
- 4:37Speaker 2: in fairness, that bigly was a word until Trump used it.
- 4:42Speaker 2: So Trump taught me a word, which is not a
- 4:44Speaker 2: very common thing. So I give him a lot of credit.
- 4:46Speaker 2: And maybe mutilization will find its way into the Merriam-Webster dictionary.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Point being, Trump is doing what he does best out
- 4:54Speaker 2: there making the case to the american people on the
- 4:56Speaker 2: campaign trail that these democrats are nuts and that there's
- 5:00Speaker 2: absolutely no way they're going to be able to improve
- 5:04Speaker 2: the lives of the people who are currently frustrated that's
- 5:09Speaker 2: really the saddest thing of all when you look at
- 5:11Speaker 2: where democrats stand on these issues and what we've seen
- 5:14Speaker 2: play out not just under the trump second term but
- 5:17Speaker 2: just in general in american politics let's just say in
- 5:20Speaker 2: the 21st century to to tie it all together. Democrats
- 5:25Speaker 2: are wrong on all of the key issues, and yet
- 5:27Speaker 2: they're able to generate, of course, they have tremendous allegiance
- 5:32Speaker 2: from some people who don't care about the wrongness of
- 5:35Speaker 2: their beliefs. This is what you get with people in
- 5:39Speaker 2: cities where the needles are everywhere, the druggies are everywhere,
- 5:43Speaker 2: there's too much crime, there's blight in the downtown, and
- 5:47Speaker 2: it's only Democrats in charge and people keep voting Democrat.
- 5:50Speaker 2: They just haven't suffered enough. And they think that their
- 5:54Speaker 2: suffering through bad policy somehow makes them a better person.
- 5:59Speaker 2: The suffering doesn't maybe affect them. There's that not in
- 6:02Speaker 2: my backyard phenomenon. It really comes down to whether Democrats
- 6:06Speaker 2: think that the vote that they cast as a statement
- 6:09Speaker 2: of personal superiority, I'm a good person, is more important
- 6:15Speaker 2: and affects them more than the reality of the politicians
- 6:19Speaker 2: and the policies that come into play when you put
- 6:22Speaker 2: a party in power that lacks a self-correction mechanism they
- 6:29Speaker 2: just keep doubling down on crazy all the time they
- 6:31Speaker 2: have changed nothing since 2024 i think that's worth pointing
- 6:35Speaker 2: out donald trump led a red wave and the democrats
- 6:39Speaker 2: got uh thoroughly trounced and yet whether it's the transgender
- 6:43Speaker 2: sports issue or it's uh the democrats uh being an
- 6:47Speaker 2: open borders party and all these, the Democrats being the
- 6:51Speaker 2: party of more crime, less safety, all these things remain true.
- 6:56Speaker 2: But because there is economic frustration out there right now,
- 7:00Speaker 2: they see an opening. They see the ability to connect
- 7:05Speaker 2: with people on an emotional level that will override the
- 7:10Speaker 2: the rational, override the experience of what it has been
- 7:14Speaker 2: for them to be an American in this country for
- 7:16Speaker 2: the last few years and really for all time and say,
- 7:19Speaker 2: you know what, this time around I will vote Democrat
- 7:24Speaker 2: or this time around I'll actually show up. Maybe I
- 7:26Speaker 2: wasn't going to show up. You know, you get into
- 7:28Speaker 2: party switching or independence, swing voters. You also get into enthusiasm,
- 7:32Speaker 2: base turnout. All these things come together and the votes
- 7:37Speaker 2: will be tallied and we'll see how it shakes out,
- 7:40Speaker 2: but I do feel like there is some good momentum
- 7:45Speaker 2: now behind the Republicans. It felt a little too quiet,
- 7:47Speaker 2: and I was a little frustrated with it, in particularly
- 7:50Speaker 2: August into the first half of September. That seems to
- 7:54Speaker 2: have been the strategy, and we'll see if the strategy
- 7:57Speaker 2: pays off for them. Something else that we'll spend more
- 8:00Speaker 2: time talking about today, Trump here, here he is talking
- 8:03Speaker 2: about the Ilhan Omar scandal. phenomenon guys you bleep this
- 8:08Speaker 2: right i think we needed a bleep just making sure
- 8:10Speaker 2: because i'm looking at the transcript i'm like uh we
- 8:13Speaker 2: had to bleep trump the president here he is uh
- 8:16Speaker 2: trump on ilhan omar play cut nine you know they keep.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Talking about deportation now she could go to jail this
- 8:22Speaker 4: is just my opinion i think she's a sick a
- 8:24Speaker 4: very dishonest person who hates our country and She comes
- 8:28Speaker 4: from a country that is essentially not even a country, Somalia.
- 8:32Speaker 4: It's a real s * * t house, okay? It's
- 8:35Speaker 4: got no government. It's got no police protect. All they
- 8:38Speaker 4: do is have people running around shooting each other. Then
- 8:40Speaker 4: she comes over here and she wants to tell us
- 8:42Speaker 4: how to run America. She wants to tell us how
- 8:45Speaker 4: to run the United States of America. And she'll say,
- 8:47Speaker 4: I have constitutional rights. And she never heard the word concert.
- 8:52Speaker 4: She never saw that before.
- 8:53Speaker 1: See that?
- 8:54Speaker 4: She never saw that before. But she says she has rights.
- 8:56Speaker 4: She's a disgrace to our country. And it's amazing that
- 9:00Speaker 4: she can get elected, but Somalians vote for her. You know,
- 9:03Speaker 4: Somalians vote for her. And most of them shouldn't be here.
- 9:07Speaker 2: So there's something much bigger at work with the investigation
- 9:13Speaker 2: into Ilhan Omar as well. There are some very weighty
- 9:16Speaker 2: issues that come into play. First of all, If, in fact,
- 9:20Speaker 2: the charges against her are proven and she is found
- 9:24Speaker 2: and she is found guilty, she has not even been
- 9:25Speaker 2: charged yet. So this is all just investigation and allegation. If,
- 9:29Speaker 2: in fact, that's the case, she would be the first
- 9:31Speaker 2: person possibly in what she would be the first person
- 9:34Speaker 2: if she was found guilty to have been in Congress
- 9:37Speaker 2: and face deportation from the country and being stripped of citizenship.
- 9:42Speaker 2: That is a possibility right now with a sitting member
- 9:46Speaker 2: of Congress, a Democrat. Beyond that, though, and this is
- 9:50Speaker 2: why I understand, first of all, Trump talking about how
- 9:53Speaker 2: Somalia is not a nice place. Leftists, the Democrat corporate media,
- 9:59Speaker 2: they're going to say he's just behind. mean or he's
- 10:00Speaker 2: being racist or he's being whatever it is no there's
- 10:04Speaker 2: an important lesson from this yes of course we've taken
- 10:08Speaker 2: in far too many people from the third world legally
- 10:12Speaker 2: and illegally in my lifetime into this country and that
- 10:16Speaker 2: needs to be that needs to stop We also have
- 10:19Speaker 2: to have a massive increase in deportations, which they're increasing it.
- 10:23Speaker 2: And we can look at the latest numbers from DHS.
- 10:25Speaker 2: But that is an important, a critical mission, I would say,
- 10:28Speaker 2: for the future of the country. However, when you look
- 10:32Speaker 2: at Ilhan Omar, you also get a real sense of
- 10:36Speaker 2: how Democrats are just emotionally and psychologically predisposed to resent
- 10:45Speaker 2: a country that they should be so grateful to. Instead
- 10:49Speaker 2: of saying I'm proud to be an American, Democrats say
- 10:53Speaker 2: I'm proud to be better than America. Put me in
- 10:56Speaker 2: charge and I'll make it what it should be. But
- 10:58Speaker 2: right now, it's really not so great. It's kind of racist,
- 11:01Speaker 2: kind of bad, a lot of things about it. Now,
- 11:04Speaker 2: you can push this issue more, say, well, if it's
- 11:08Speaker 2: so bad, why do people from all over the world,
- 11:09Speaker 2: why do so many people from name a poor country?
- 11:14Speaker 2: Why do they all want to come here? And they'll say, oh,
- 11:16Speaker 2: it's because we're wealthy. Well, guess what? There's a lot
- 11:18Speaker 2: of countries, actually, that are well off. And now they
- 11:21Speaker 2: go to some of those countries, too. But they all
- 11:24Speaker 2: want to come here, despite the fact that they have
- 11:26Speaker 2: tremendous criticisms and a lot of resentment for this place.
- 11:31Speaker 2: And Ilhan Omar, somebody who left a failed dysfunctional state
- 11:37Speaker 2: and was taken in now, allegedly illegally, but taken in.
- 11:41Speaker 2: by the warm embrace of this incredible place known as America,
- 11:45Speaker 2: and then has proceeded, yes, she's a member of Congress,
- 11:48Speaker 2: but she constantly denigrates American foreign policy, denigrates American culture,
- 11:54Speaker 2: denigrates the Constitution, all of these things, things that don't
- 11:58Speaker 2: even exist in the home country that she fled. You
- 12:01Speaker 2: would think there would be nothing but a constant gratitude.
- 12:04Speaker 2: How many of you have seen a video? How many
- 12:06Speaker 2: of you have seen Ilhan Omar with a smile on
- 12:09Speaker 2: her face saying, just talking about what a beautiful, incredible
- 12:13Speaker 2: place America is, how wonderful this country is, how she's
- 12:17Speaker 2: lucky to be here, never mind be a member of Congress,
- 12:21Speaker 2: how it took in her family, and it took in
- 12:23Speaker 2: so many other Somalis from the hellhole that had been
- 12:27Speaker 2: ruined by Somalis. There's no sense of gratitude. There's no
- 12:32Speaker 2: sense of accountability. And that is something that Ilhan Omar
- 12:36Speaker 2: unfortunately shares with all of these uh dsa socialists with
- 12:41Speaker 2: all of these leftists with all these maniacs even running
- 12:45Speaker 2: around in paris with palestinian flags that they're flying while
- 12:49Speaker 2: they burn down stores and they loot and they pillage
- 12:53Speaker 2: they don't appreciate how wonderful the place is that they
- 12:56Speaker 2: happen to be lucky enough to either have been born
- 12:58Speaker 2: into or perhaps snuck into no gratitude No sense of
- 13:05Speaker 2: wanting to give back and be thankful in a meaningful way. No,
- 13:09Speaker 2: they're here. They're inside. They're a fifth column and they
- 13:13Speaker 2: want to tear it down. They think they know better.
- 13:15Speaker 2: They want to make it something else. just get enough
- 13:18Speaker 2: resentful people together and give them enough power, and they'll
- 13:21Speaker 2: transform this place known as America into something so much better,
- 13:25Speaker 2: even though the place they come from is so much worse.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Why would they know more than we know here about
- 13:32Speaker 2: how to have a great country? That is what Trump
- 13:36Speaker 2: is getting at. That is what Americans need to be
- 13:38Speaker 2: reminded of as we look at who to vote for
- 13:40Speaker 2: in this election cycle, which is the party that appreciates, loves, cherishes,
- 13:44Speaker 2: and protects America. which is the party that constantly undermines, denigrates,
- 13:48Speaker 2: and wants to transform this place because it's just not
- 13:51Speaker 2: good enough. Ilhan Omar is just one example of countless
- 13:56Speaker 2: examples of Democrats who take that approach. Whether you're in
- 13:59Speaker 2: Michigan or Pennsylvania or Texas or North Carolina or take
- 14:03Speaker 2: your pick, they are always in the blame America first party.
- 14:08Speaker 2: And that's something that I hope every voter takes into account.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Your home security system, if you have one, might be

- 15:15Speaker 2: and Buck, the gateway drug to sanity. Welcome back to
- 15:19Speaker 2: Clay and Buck. We were talking about the investigation into
- 15:23Speaker 2: member of Congress and noted America hater Ilhan Omar. She
- 15:29Speaker 2: has broken her silence. She wishes to speak publicly or
- 15:33Speaker 2: has spoken publicly publicly. about this whole situation. And this
- 15:37Speaker 2: is cut 11. And here is what she said.
- 15:39Speaker 5: Hi, everyone.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Ilhan here.
- 15:41Speaker 6: I just wanted to say thank you so much for
- 15:44Speaker 6: the support to everyone who sent a note of support
- 15:49Speaker 6: for everyone who sent $ 5, $ 10, $ 20. That goes a
- 15:50Speaker 6: long way as we fight Trump and his administration for
- 16:00Speaker 6: trying to intimidate me and so many people right before
- 16:06Speaker 6: the midterm elections. We know that they're running scared. We're
- 16:09Speaker 6: not going to be intimidated. We're not going to be silenced.
- 16:12Speaker 6: We're not going to be scared. I'll be out there
- 16:14Speaker 6: campaigning alongside all of you and making sure that we
- 16:18Speaker 6: beat back all of this and that we win in
- 16:21Speaker 6: the midterms, win the House, win the Senate. and hold
- 16:24Speaker 6: this administration accountable. Thank you so much again, and please
- 16:28Speaker 6: continue to support us. It is going to be a
- 16:32Speaker 6: very expensive and challenging time, and so we appreciate whether
- 16:36Speaker 6: you're able to send.
- 16:37Speaker 5: 5, 10, 20.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Okay, right.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Fundraising appeal. Notice something here. She's using this for fundraising.
- 16:43Speaker 2: By the way, it's politics. Not a surprise. Fine. She's
- 16:45Speaker 2: allowed to, but she's using it for fundraising. No surprise there.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Do you hear a denial of any of this stuff?
- 16:53Speaker 2: Why wouldn't wouldn't you if you were accused of, let's
- 16:57Speaker 2: just say it, not really being an American, because if
- 17:01Speaker 2: you have achieved your Americanness via fraud, you can be denaturalized.
- 17:08Speaker 2: She was not born here. She was not an American
- 17:11Speaker 2: at birth. I know we can talk about the Supreme
- 17:12Speaker 2: Court ruling another time, but technically that right right now
- 17:15Speaker 2: and for a long time, that has been the way
- 17:17Speaker 2: that the that has been the law of the land,
- 17:20Speaker 2: like it or not. But she was not born here.
- 17:22Speaker 2: She was born in Somalia, obviously. If she achieved her
- 17:25Speaker 2: American-ness via fraud, that's very noteworthy. But also, wouldn't you
- 17:30Speaker 2: be furious? We have a lot of lawful immigrants who
- 17:34Speaker 2: listen to this show. Welcome to our American family. Many
- 17:37Speaker 2: of you have been here for decades and decades. I
- 17:41Speaker 2: would be really ticked off. You wouldn't be able to
- 17:45Speaker 2: tell me that. How dare you try to say that
- 17:48Speaker 2: I stole my American-ness? How dare you say that I
- 17:53Speaker 2: achieved it via fraud? I didn't catch any of that
- 17:56Speaker 2: from her. I heard no denial. Just noting. Ten weeks.
- 18:00Speaker 2: That's how many weeks are left in this calendar year. Halloween,
- 18:03Speaker 2: Election Day, Thanksgiving, the holiday season rush, Christmas. It's going
- 18:06Speaker 2: to be a blur.
- 18:07Speaker 1: You know it.
- 18:08Speaker 2: I know it. You're going to need a lot of
- 18:09Speaker 2: energy to get through it all. Our friends at Chalk

- 18:51Speaker 2: Clay and Buck, you know, in the midst of all
- 18:53Speaker 2: of this election analysis and discussions about the future of
- 18:59Speaker 2: the Republic and the biggest news of the day, as
- 19:01Speaker 2: well as war and peace abroad, Russia, Ukraine, the situation,
- 19:05Speaker 2: the Middle East, you got to find time to just
- 19:08Speaker 2: kick back, relax and let the good times roll. And
- 19:12Speaker 2: for some of you, I don't know, that might just
- 19:14Speaker 2: be going for a drive in the drive in the
- 19:17Speaker 2: hills or wherever you live near your house. Some of
- 19:21Speaker 2: you might be going out, maybe doing a little skeet
- 19:24Speaker 2: shooting or something. I don't know, whatever you got. Yesterday,
- 19:27Speaker 2: I really literally got my hands dirty with my balcony gardening.
- 19:33Speaker 2: And I have taken this up as a new hobby.
- 19:34Speaker 2: And I will tell you, balcony gardening is quite therapeutic.
- 19:39Speaker 2: It is something that I would highly recommend. Now, most
- 19:41Speaker 2: of you have actual gardens because you have actual land.
- 19:46Speaker 2: I live in a city, so the balcony is the
- 19:48Speaker 2: best that I can do. but let me tell you
- 19:51Speaker 2: my clusius they're really the star of the show on
- 19:54Speaker 2: my balcony coming in dense got some long planters i
- 20:00Speaker 2: had a friend of mine over who was quite an
- 20:02Speaker 2: expert and he was showing me how to do all
- 20:03Speaker 2: of this stuff got tight branching going on excellent for
- 20:07Speaker 2: a privacy screen which is what i'm building Also salt
- 20:11Speaker 2: and wind tolerant. Those Clusias can take a beating and
- 20:14Speaker 2: keep on growing. I've got a young mango tree, staked
- 20:18Speaker 2: and looking healthy. Within two years, perhaps, succulent mangoes will
- 20:22Speaker 2: be growing on my balcony from said tree. I have
- 20:25Speaker 2: a beautiful fiddle leaf fig. Fiddle leaf fig, which has
- 20:30Speaker 2: got big violin-shaped leaves. That one's coming in quite lovely.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Silver buttonwood as well. Latin name, Canocarpus erectus. Classic coastal
- 20:41Speaker 2: Florida material. So the balcony garden, for those who are wondering,
- 20:45Speaker 2: is coming along quite well. Now, when I go into
- 20:49Speaker 2: Home Depot again, are people going to be like, there
- 20:51Speaker 2: he is, the guy who knows how to balcony garden?
- 20:55Speaker 2: Will they clap?
- 20:56Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Will they all stand at attention and salute and say, sir,
- 21:00Speaker 2: nobody quite knows how to mix in their soil and
- 21:05Speaker 2: rocks quite like you? Maybe. That's for others to decide.
- 21:10Speaker 2: But all I can tell you, my friends, is my
- 21:13Speaker 2: balcony gardening game is strong. And I think it's time
- 21:16Speaker 2: for me to get a wide brim hat and perhaps
- 21:19Speaker 2: an oversized dress shirt and go full Martha Stewart out
- 21:22Speaker 2: there because I'm really enjoying it. I don't know. Do
- 21:25Speaker 2: they have an executive card at Home Depot? I'm going
- 21:28Speaker 2: to have to find the VIP section for all the
- 21:31Speaker 2: soil that I'm using. What could be manlier? What could
- 21:34Speaker 2: be more salt of the earth than getting up to
- 21:37Speaker 2: your elbows in some fresh potting soil to make sure
- 21:42Speaker 2: that your Clusias are getting exactly the sunlight they need.
- 21:46Speaker 2: With all that, my friends, I wanted to give you
- 21:50Speaker 2: an early voting. I know we're getting back to the news,
- 21:53Speaker 2: back to the news. Are there photos, by the way? Yes,
- 21:55Speaker 2: there are. Although I don't really have proper gear yet.
- 21:58Speaker 2: I got to figure out how people dress for this stuff.
- 22:02Speaker 2: I guess you just dress however you want. But I
- 22:04Speaker 2: want to look the part when I'm wielding my trowel
- 22:08Speaker 2: because I wield it. I wield it quite well. Now,
- 22:12Speaker 2: our friend Ryan Groduski, by the way, he always keeps
- 22:14Speaker 2: tabs on the show, make sure that we're staying close
- 22:16Speaker 2: to the numbers he was on last week. I can't
- 22:19Speaker 2: even remember how many views he got on the YouTube
- 22:21Speaker 2: where he broke down the analysis of where things currently
- 22:24Speaker 2: stand for this midterm election. So I said, Ryan, since
- 22:27Speaker 2: it's been about a week, can you give us the
- 22:31Speaker 2: latest detailed update of early voting? And then we could
- 22:34Speaker 2: work that into the conversation here. And Our friend Gerduski,
- 22:38Speaker 2: host of It's a Numbers Game, great podcast doing phenomenal,
- 22:41Speaker 2: especially these days with the election coming up. Phenomenal download numbers.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Go listen to it, guys. Ryan does a great job.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Here he is, cut 34. Gerduski, breaking down the early vote.
- 22:51Speaker 7: Voting is underway across most of the country in the
- 22:53Speaker 7: early vote. Right now, Democrats have a sizable lead in
- 22:56Speaker 7: most states. Over in Iowa, Democrats have a 22,000 vote lead.
- 23:01Speaker 7: compared to 2024 when Republicans actually held a 9,000 vote lead.
- 23:04Speaker 7: But this lead, despite being in favor of Democrats, is
- 23:07Speaker 7: much smaller than they had in 2022 when Democrats had
- 23:11Speaker 7: a 60,000 vote advantage at this point in the election.
- 23:13Speaker 7: Over in Arizona, 13 days out, there have been 635,000
- 23:17Speaker 7: votes cast. That's 20% of all ballots. Republicans hold a
- 23:21Speaker 7: minor deficit of 7,000 votes. heading to this election. In 2022,
- 23:25Speaker 7: Democrats at this point held a 24,000 vote lead. Over
- 23:29Speaker 7: in North Carolina, 924,000 ballots have been cast. Democrats have
- 23:34Speaker 7: led in every single day of early voting, but their
- 23:36Speaker 7: lead has fallen from D plus 28 to D plus 15.
- 23:39Speaker 7: Over in Georgia, the black vote has fallen from 37%
- 23:42Speaker 7: on the first day of early voting to 34% today.
- 23:45Speaker 7: while the white electorate has increased from 50 to 52%.
- 23:48Speaker 7: Georgia does not have partisan electorate, so we do not
- 23:51Speaker 7: know the party registration. We just know the race of
- 23:54Speaker 7: the voter. This shows a stronger black turnout than it
- 23:57Speaker 7: was in 2024, but numbers are increasing in favor of Republicans.
- 24:01Speaker 7: Over in Florida, Republicans leading the early vote by 2.4%
- 24:05Speaker 7: after two days of early voting. This is a 24-point
- 24:08Speaker 7: swing in Democrats' favor from 2024. And lastly, in Texas,
- 24:12Speaker 7: there were 800,000 people early voting in the first two days.
- 24:15Speaker 7: The electorate is D plus 8. It was R plus
- 24:18Speaker 7: 11 in 2022. That is a 19-point swing in Democrats' favor.
- 24:25Speaker 2: So all that sounds like good news, except, and I
- 24:27Speaker 2: know that was just Ryan who was calling in there,
- 24:29Speaker 2: sent us that voice text. All that sounds like it's
- 24:31Speaker 2: trending in a good way for Republicans. Now, I understand
- 24:36Speaker 2: they're behind in the early vote, but that's expected. That's
- 24:38Speaker 2: baked in. So what you can get from listening to
- 24:41Speaker 2: these early vote tallies is that Democrats... are at this
- 24:46Speaker 2: stage where there's an early vote. Less ahead. I got
- 24:52Speaker 2: texts from some of you yesterday. Real Americans vote on
- 24:56Speaker 2: Election Day. Our side, we're very... Republicans, you're a little
- 25:02Speaker 2: get off my lawn on this one. I have to
- 25:03Speaker 2: say it. Election Day is one day. OK, that's fine,
- 25:10Speaker 2: but hope you don't get a lot of snow in Michigan.
- 25:13Speaker 2: I hope you don't have some problem with the car.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Right.
- 25:16Speaker 2: There's there's these issues that come up. And as I said,
- 25:18Speaker 2: you allow the get out the vote efforts to do
- 25:21Speaker 2: better micro targeting of those less likely those low propensity
- 25:26Speaker 2: voters as you get closer and closer to Election Day.
- 25:29Speaker 2: So you're actually helping out the team if you can
- 25:31Speaker 2: vote early, which is why, of course, Clay. I think
- 25:33Speaker 2: Clay was probably the first person in the state of
- 25:35Speaker 2: Tennessee practically to vote. And now he's all high stepping
- 25:38Speaker 2: around as Mr. Early Vote. But don't tell him I
- 25:41Speaker 2: said this. He's got a point. It does actually make
- 25:44Speaker 2: a lot of sense to get in there early. I'm
- 25:45Speaker 2: going to get in this week for sure and vote.
- 25:47Speaker 2: At least that's my plan. But you heard Ryan breaking
- 25:50Speaker 2: it down. The lead compared to 2022, which is the
- 25:54Speaker 2: last midterm we could have data for in the early vote.
- 25:57Speaker 2: The lead is considerably lower. Less than in those in
- 26:02Speaker 2: those places where we can actually start to look at
- 26:04Speaker 2: the tally. That is, I think, encouraging. It's not proof.
- 26:09Speaker 2: It's not OK. Everything is fine. But we'd much rather
- 26:14Speaker 2: that be the case than the alternative, which is some
- 26:16Speaker 2: blowout early lead, even more so in North Carolina or
- 26:22Speaker 2: even more so in Arizona or any any of these
- 26:24Speaker 2: places that we went through some of that early data.
- 26:28Speaker 2: And I think the only one that, and he said
- 26:31Speaker 2: it at the end, that's got me a little, hold
- 26:34Speaker 2: on a second, is Texas. There really does seem to
- 26:38Speaker 2: be some Talafrico situation here where people are excited about
- 26:44Speaker 2: this guy. And maybe it's just because there's been so
- 26:47Speaker 2: much press about how Talafrico can win. The guy disappeared,
- 26:53Speaker 2: as we know, for 13 days. And now we're supposed
- 26:55Speaker 2: to think that, oh, he just had the flu and
- 26:57Speaker 2: that was totally fine. It does strike me as possible
- 27:01Speaker 2: that Tallarico, in a way very similar to Kamala Harris,
- 27:06Speaker 2: is better off doing minimal media because the more people
- 27:08Speaker 2: see him out there, the more they'll hear some of
- 27:11Speaker 2: the stuff. But he's been moderating on some of these positions.
- 27:16Speaker 2: I don't think it's meaning a change of heart. I
- 27:19Speaker 2: just think that he is sly enough to understand. You
- 27:23Speaker 2: probably don't want to tell voters at this stage of
- 27:25Speaker 2: the game, God is non-binary and that the state should
- 27:29Speaker 2: be able to trans your kids if they come home
- 27:32Speaker 2: one day and say, I'm not a boy, I'm a girl.
- 27:35Speaker 2: That's stuff that he's staying away from or he's saying
- 27:38Speaker 2: it's complicated in the past. So there we I I
- 27:41Speaker 2: still feel very confident in Texas, but I just wish
- 27:44Speaker 2: the numbers were a little bit different. And here's Tallarico,
- 27:50Speaker 2: by the way, weighing in on data centers. This is 17.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Play this one. Elon wants our land.
- 27:57Speaker 8: He's already trying to buy one of our beautiful state
- 27:59Speaker 8: parks down in South Texas. He wants our water for
- 28:04Speaker 8: these AI data centers. He wants our taxpayer funds, like
- 28:08Speaker 8: when he ran that crazy doge process. And he wants
- 28:11Speaker 8: his very own personal United States senator. And that's what
- 28:14Speaker 8: he thinks he can get with Ken Paxton.
- 28:18Speaker 2: I mean, Texas is bigger than France. He wants our water.
- 28:25Speaker 2: This one guy, this is such a classic example of
- 28:30Speaker 2: what I was talking about before. Texas, as you all
- 28:35Speaker 2: know who lived there, is a massive state with incredible resources,
- 28:40Speaker 2: particularly oil, but incredible natural resources. And here you have
- 28:47Speaker 2: The most, I think you could say the most important,
- 28:51Speaker 2: certainly conglomerate of companies, not including the chip companies like
- 28:59Speaker 2: TSMC in Taiwan and their role in the, they're right
- 29:03Speaker 2: up there too. But if you're looking at non-specific chip technology,
- 29:09Speaker 2: or non-specific to the chip industry, Elon's constellation of companies,
- 29:13Speaker 2: and there's talk now of a Tesla-SpaceX merger for an
- 29:17Speaker 2: a super mega company, the most important for productivity and
- 29:24Speaker 2: advancing humanity forward with technology of anything existing in the world,
- 29:29Speaker 2: that Texas, a red state, is becoming, is really the
- 29:35Speaker 2: hub and the hometown, if you will, the home state
- 29:38Speaker 2: of those efforts. Democrats realize this is a huge problem
- 29:43Speaker 2: for them. They got very used to having Silicon Valley,
- 29:49Speaker 2: the greatest wealth generation corridor in the United States, bigger
- 29:54Speaker 2: than wall street by a lot, uh, In terms of
- 29:59Speaker 2: individual fortunes, nobody has money like Silicon Valley money, especially
- 30:04Speaker 2: when you're talking now in the era of AI. These
- 30:06Speaker 2: guys are rich, crazy rich. Obviously, Elon's the richest single
- 30:09Speaker 2: guy in the world. But if you're looking at, and
- 30:11Speaker 2: he's also in a, he has XAI, right? I mean,
- 30:15Speaker 2: he's involved in the AI race. I use Grok all
- 30:17Speaker 2: the time. I think Grok is my favorite of the
- 30:20Speaker 2: AIs that exist, and I've used a bunch of them.
- 30:24Speaker 2: But he's at, why is Tallarico attacking Elon Musk? Because
- 30:29Speaker 2: the politics of frustration translate very easily into the politics
- 30:35Speaker 2: of resentment. And Democrats play this cynical class warfare game
- 30:40Speaker 2: so well. Because here's the reality. Why is it hard
- 30:43Speaker 2: for you to, or for anyone, but why is it
- 30:46Speaker 2: hard to pay your bills right now? Government overspending, government regulation,
- 30:54Speaker 2: government decision-making. This is the problem. The problem is the
- 30:58Speaker 2: government spends too much of your money, and it takes
- 31:00Speaker 2: too much of your money in taxation, and it slows
- 31:03Speaker 2: wealth creation through unnecessary regulation, especially when you get into
- 31:06Speaker 2: lunatic stuff like climate change legislation. Those are the problems,
- 31:11Speaker 2: but that takes some thinking. That's complicated for some people
- 31:14Speaker 2: to get through or to believe that. The issue here
- 31:20Speaker 2: is for people who are having trouble paying their bills
- 31:23Speaker 2: or affording things, they.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Are being told it's because of this super rich guy.
- 31:28Speaker 2: In fact, he wants to build these big, ugly, mean
- 31:31Speaker 2: data centers. Guys, you all know this. Texas is so big,
- 31:34Speaker 2: you could have all the data centers in the United
- 31:36Speaker 2: States in Texas, and most people in Texas would never
- 31:39Speaker 2: even see, you know, won't even see them. You could
- 31:42Speaker 2: take one little piece of it. Now, I'm not saying that,
- 31:45Speaker 2: you know, they have to be all out in the
- 31:46Speaker 2: middle of nowhere, but, like, there's going to be some
- 31:48Speaker 2: that are out in the middle of nowhere.
- 31:50Speaker 1: And.
- 31:51Speaker 2: Elon's– look, I'm picking up a Tesla next week, so
- 31:55Speaker 2: obviously I'm bought into this is where the future is going.
- 31:59Speaker 2: But for what matters for us for this election, saying
- 32:03Speaker 2: look at this super rich guy, why don't they ever
- 32:05Speaker 2: talk about Soros' son who's now funding all this stuff
- 32:08Speaker 2: and funding incredibly destructive NGOs and nonprofits and all this
- 32:13Speaker 2: left-wing DSA Paris-style undermine the state nonsense? Why– the Parisian riots.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Why is that? Oh, he's their billionaire. So he's good.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Reid Hoffman, he's their billionaire. So that's OK. He's not
- 32:28Speaker 2: the problem because he funds lunatic left wing causes. But
- 32:32Speaker 2: Elon is doing incredible things with his companies and is
- 32:37Speaker 2: giving a lot of money to Republicans. That's the only
- 32:40Speaker 2: this guy is doing more. Think about this. Elon Musk,
- 32:42Speaker 2: you could argue, is doing more to address the climate
- 32:45Speaker 2: change issue, which is a non-issue. But just pretend like
- 32:48Speaker 2: it is an issue. than any other human being alive.
- 32:52Speaker 2: Do you hear Democrats ever talk about that? They don't
- 32:57Speaker 2: care because he gives money to Republicans, therefore he is
- 33:00Speaker 2: the enemy. So even by their logic, if he's saving
- 33:02Speaker 2: the planet, it's not worth being nice to him and
- 33:05Speaker 2: encouraging what he's doing because more important that Republicans lose.
- 33:08Speaker 2: A lot of Democrats, I think, really believe that. Even
- 33:13Speaker 2: if they think the world is going to melt because
- 33:14Speaker 2: of climate change in 50 years or whatever, more important
- 33:16Speaker 2: that Republicans lose now. Pure Talk's best ever plan for

- 34:30Speaker 2: How about that? Welcome back into Clay and Buck. We
- 34:33Speaker 2: have an appearance on the speed cam. For those of
- 34:34Speaker 2: you who are YouTube subscribers, here he is. He wants
- 34:38Speaker 2: free range, though, on the desk. So this may come
- 34:40Speaker 2: to a dramatic and fast conclusion as he starts to
- 34:43Speaker 2: push all of the buttons. But he is fascinated. This
- 34:46Speaker 2: is my son, James Speed. and also known as Jimmy Speed. Oh,
- 34:51Speaker 2: he's waving there. Oh, you guys got to wave. That
- 34:53Speaker 2: is special stuff. Can you say hi? Can you say da-da?
- 34:57Speaker 2: Can we do something? He likes looking at himself in
- 35:00Speaker 2: the camera. We will take calls from some of you. Da-da.
- 35:04Speaker 2: There you go.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Da-da.
- 35:05Speaker 2: Yes, that's me. We will take Ron in Texas. Ron,
- 35:09Speaker 2: talk to me. What's going on with our man Paxton?
- 35:12Speaker 1: What? Hey, this afternoon, I wanted to see you. I
- 35:16Speaker 1: haven't been born yesterday, and here in Corpus, and I
- 35:20Speaker 1: just wanted to put out the word to Texas who
- 35:22Speaker 1: are listening. You need to go out and vote for Paxson.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Stop Tom Rico. He's a fraud. He's a liar. He's
- 35:30Speaker 1: far out left. He thinks abortion is good because it's
- 35:34Speaker 1: never mentioned in the Bible, so we can't, you know,
- 35:36Speaker 1: we can't, no restrictions at all on it. He wants
- 35:40Speaker 1: to open, he wants to close prisons. He wants to
- 35:42Speaker 1: open the border. These are things he's actually said.
- 35:48Speaker 2: He's a nightmare for Texas, Ron. I totally agree. Texans
- 35:50Speaker 2: get out there and vote. Kevin in North Carolina, take
- 35:52Speaker 2: it away.
- 35:54Speaker 5: Roy Cooper, the current Senate candidate, he became governor in
- 36:01Speaker 5: 2020 because of 75 million absentee ballots, 45 million in 24.
- 36:08Speaker 5: We thank President Trump for coming here last night to
- 36:11Speaker 5: help out Michael Watley running for Senate.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Also, All the ballot.
- 36:18Speaker 5: Is a photo ID for absentee ballots, and we need
- 36:22Speaker 5: to vote for that amendment. All of those have to
- 36:25Speaker 5: do with North Carolina winning in the future.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Critical stuff.
- 36:30Speaker 5: Go ahead.
- 36:30Speaker 1: No, you go ahead.
- 36:32Speaker 2: We've got 10 seconds, Kevin. Finish up.
- 36:36Speaker 5: Tom Hanks, April May, demanded absentee ballots when he came
- 36:39Speaker 5: back from Australia. That's ruining us right now nationwide.
- 36:43Speaker 2: North Carolina, get out there and vote. Everybody get out
- 36:45Speaker 2: there and vote. Hour two coming up. And speed says hi.
- 36:47Speaker 2: Speaking truth and having fun. Clay Travis and Buck Sexton.
