Topeka’s getting a fresh bite with Berries Basket Cafe, the second location of this popular spot (after Colorado Springs) taking over the old Red Lobster space. Chef Dimitri Kass promises a diverse menu: Greek eats, burgers, crêpes, pasta, steaks, ribs — and yes, their legendary banana bread. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, they’re also rolling out a coffee bar, working on a liquor license, and creating a pet-friendly outdoor area with free treats for pups.
