- 2:58Thank you. We're.
- 2:59Smoking some good cigars this New Year to start off with a
- 3:02bang. Yes.
- 3:04We're all smoking Espinosa cigars.
- 3:08So so we're we're gonna no, listen listen listen we're we're
- 3:12gonna we're gonna get this this is coming to you guys recorded.
- 3:16So we we we do have a little bit of a a time constraint, let's
- 3:20just say. So we're actually going to kick
- 3:24off and go right into, you know, how you got started in cigars
- 3:30and what made you become a Rep for Espinoza.
- 3:33Let's. Start there.
- 3:35Well, gentlemen, first let's start off Happy New Year.
- 3:38Thank you so much for having me. I really appreciate it.
- 3:40Absolutely. Thank you for coming on.
- 3:42Happy New. Year.
- 3:42You know, I'm really excited about this and having me on the
- 3:45second time I I want to say thank you so much.
- 3:48First, let me show you that I'm smoking the Connecticut Knuckle
- 3:51sandwich. I can't wait to smoke that.
- 3:54I have not smoked that yet. Unbelievable.
- 3:57I made sure you guys had a Connecticut, You guys have the
- 4:00Connecticut, the Maduro and you should have the Havana.
- 4:05The knuckle sandwiches, Yeah, we got the the knuckle sandwiches.
- 4:09We got the the Connecticut and we got two of the Connecticuts
- 4:14and then the Comfortably Numb Habano.
- 4:17Comfortably Numb Maduro. Yep.
- 4:20And then the Bat and the the Six O 1 Oscar, which is what
- 4:23actually OG is smoking, right? Now oh, that is.
- 4:25That is an. That's an.
- 4:27Unbelievable cigar. I will say that that that
- 4:31knuckle sandwich in a Maduro. Oh honey.
- 4:35Money Notch, it really is. So let's let's get right into
- 4:40it. How did how did you get started
- 4:43in cigars? Well, of course I've and I've
- 4:48always smoked cigars and I I remember one time that I was
- 4:53smoking a cigar Outback at the ECW Arena and Paul says, you
- 4:57know, what are you doing? Smoking a cigar before the show?
- 5:00He's like, come over. He smelled it.
- 5:03He's like, you know, I'm not a cigar guy, but you look like a
- 5:07cigar guy, like the way you hold it, the way you look.
- 5:09It says, I think you should bring one out.
- 5:12I think you should bring one out to the ring.
- 5:13That should be your thing. OK.
- 5:16Kind of like kind of like Tony DeVito did chewing.
- 5:19On the cigar. Yep, went out to Tony DeVito.
- 5:22Love Tony and that. And funny with Tony because Tony
- 5:25always kept it in the corner. Like chewing on it.
- 5:27Always. Still does.
- 5:30And and I've never like not smoked, never not smoked a
- 5:34cigar. But it's the fact of that
- 5:37technically I well, working for the N.W.A, working for ECW and
- 5:44then of course I went to Japan once and that was unbelievable.
- 5:50And then I got a job with. At the time it was called Impact
- 5:54Wrestling, which is TNA Wrestling.
- 5:58Which they are going back to TNA as if they're going back to.
- 6:00TNA Which is which? Is great.
- 6:02Now TNA Wrestling rebranded totally.
- 6:05They've just signed Kushita to an exclusive American deal.
- 6:07He can't work anywhere in America but there.
- 6:10And an exclusive. Deal in Japan and he's got with
- 6:12New Japan. So he's got he's got an
- 6:15exclusive in Japan and exclusive in America.
- 6:18Awesome. So that's it.
- 6:19You won't see him. You might see an indie here and
- 6:22there if you're lucky, but as far as WWEAEW, you won't.
- 6:26You won't see him anywhere but Impact unless they or TNA.
- 6:30Unless they reform a relationship with AW again.
- 6:33Right. Which I don't think they will.
- 6:34So I think they're all set. I mean, hey, listen.
- 6:37No one, no one's got d'amour. I doubt it.
- 6:40Best Booker of the year, by the way.
- 6:42In my opinion. Yep, do it as an equal genius.
- 6:44Not only does he run Impact, he's also part owner in Border
- 6:48City Wrestling. Yep, up in Canada, it was him.
- 6:51And correct me if I'm wrong, Dee, but Tyson Dukes, right?
- 6:54Yep. It was him and Tyson Dukes that
- 6:56own it, so not all does he run and promote.
- 6:59TNA runs and promotes Border City.
- 7:02Oh. Wow.
- 7:03Just so you. Learn.
- 7:05Something and a hell of a wrestler.
- 7:06Hell of a hand, too. Hell of a hand?
- 7:08Very. Much so, Very much so.
- 7:11But to but not to correct. Not to correct you.
- 7:14I should say not to correct you, but I'm not.
- 7:18AI don't sell. I'm not a wrap for Espinosa.
- 7:22So the company that I work for, Espinosa does our cigars.
- 7:26And of course, I work for a company called Protocol Cigars I
- 7:30Love. Protocol.
- 7:31Another one top notch company. And Eric Espinosa in Nicaragua,
- 7:37Deli in Lazona, that's where they roll all of the Espinosa
- 7:41Slash Protocol cigars. So there's some really good, let
- 7:46me tell you right now. And sometimes I get a little
- 7:49choked up because, you know, the guys who own the the cigar
- 7:55company. Protocol.
- 7:57They are former, not former. Excuse me.
- 8:00You know what? They're retired NYPD.
- 8:03Yes. These guys were, these guys were
- 8:07first responders. They were first responders for
- 8:119/11. And.
- 8:15You can't get any more of the guys and I.
- 8:19Here we go. They're my heroes.
- 8:23So, so, so I was also, I was also down there when 911 hit.
- 8:32So you know what, shout out to Kevin my man.
- 8:37I love him Death. So how do we get protocol cigars
- 8:44basically? Where, where?
- 8:47Where Can we pick up some? Protocols.
- 8:48I think what they're trying to get to is where?
- 8:50Where are protocol available correct?
- 8:53Protocol is huge in PA, New Jersey, New York, but you got to
- 8:59go to the boroughs in New York to get protocol.
- 9:04OK. And the funny part about it is,
- 9:06the best part about it is all the cigar reps for protocol are
- 9:11all retired. NYPD.
- 9:13All of them. Cool.
- 9:15It's it's 11 cancel who started protocol guards him and another
- 9:22gentleman were they were trying to transit.
- 9:28So when when the plane hit those two had to make a decision of
- 9:32what to do France. Why Because who knows what else
- 9:36was going to happen that day correct.
- 9:40So when you got one guy who's got his finger on the button to
- 9:44stop everything and do what they do, what they did to make that
- 9:49decision, that's why I said those guys are my heroes.
- 9:52Because what they did for our, for our people, for our country,
- 9:56to make sure that what those scumbags did to us to take care
- 10:01of the people. So how did you how did you get
- 10:04in with protocol? How did that come about?
- 10:08So I know a lot of people, of course in the cigar industry
- 10:11because I've been doing this such a long time.
- 10:14And when protocol came out I was my buddy Joe Constantino is a
- 10:22still over 20 years now. He is an EMT in in New York.
- 10:28So I went to a cigar event at the Leaf in Pennsylvania.
- 10:34It was an opening of the cigar company called Protocol Cigars.
- 10:40Of course Eric was there because Eric Espinosa is the, you know,
- 10:43he's the one who makes them for them.
- 10:45And that's where I met Juan and Bill and I just really liked the
- 10:52product and they started doing other events and stuff like
- 10:57that. So I got to know them very well.
- 10:58And of course I live in Florida, so they didn't have a Florida
- 11:04division. So they said, hey, listen, you
- 11:08know we don't have a Rep in Florida.
- 11:10We don't. Well, they had, they had one guy
- 11:13and he didn't do anything with it.
- 11:17I I won't say names. Second guy did absolutely
- 11:20nothing with the wrapping. Well, I know them, I know the
- 11:24brand, I know everything about it.
- 11:25So they were like, hey, listen, we have nobody, no one.
- 11:28Now, when I say the state of Florida, I mean from
- 11:31Tallahassee, Jacksonville all the way to Miami.
- 11:36That's crazy because that's a huge area.
- 11:38A huge area. So they didn't have anybody.
- 11:40So they said, would you be up to it?
- 11:43Shit, absolutely. I don't.
- 11:45I don't know. Do I get to go to cigar shops
- 11:47all over Florida and sell your cigars?
- 11:50Do I get to go to? All these, Oh my God, shave my
- 11:54head and live with men. Where do I sign?
- 11:56Exactly. Whoa.
- 11:59So I started doing it with them in Florida and in Florida and it
- 12:04was, it got big because of course Espinosa mostly he was
- 12:07big in front of Caspian in Miami and started traveling all over
- 12:11Florida and then of course and New England.
- 12:15I tried to, I tried and I really did.
- 12:17I tried to push it in New England and even with the
- 12:19background of it is in New England.
- 12:22Where I'm from is a really tough spot when it comes to cigars
- 12:26because people are pretty much stuck on what they smoke.
- 12:29A lot of and and that's the same problem I run into up here with
- 12:32the company that I work for. They're stuck on the name
- 12:35brands. Right.
- 12:36They stick. They stick to a brand and that's
- 12:38what they stick to and that's great and I appreciate that.
- 12:40Smoke cigars, smoke whatever you smoke.
- 12:41I don't look down on anyone who smokes.
- 12:43I don't care if you smoke freaking acids or you smoke for
- 12:46your own 20 fours. I mean 60 fours, I don't care.
- 12:49It's the fact of the matter of we're all the cigar realm is a
- 12:54family. We're a family and.
- 12:56If you enjoy it, then enjoy it. I don't care what you smoke.
- 12:59Smoking a cigar? Come sit with me.
- 13:01Have a drink. Let's let's smoke cigars
- 13:03together. But that's how I started with
- 13:06with, with protocol and became great friends.
- 13:10And I'll tell you a funny this will make you laugh.
- 13:13So there's a particular guy in New England has his own cigar
- 13:17shop. He's very well known in New
- 13:18England. And I saw Eric at that event
- 13:22when I took the job for for them.
- 13:24And Eric says, hey, can I talk to you for a minute?
- 13:27This Eric Espinosa, I go, of course, he pulls me aside.
- 13:30We're at the Leaf in Pennsylvania.
- 13:31He goes, are you the guy pushing my cigars in New England?
- 13:37Up north I go, yes, that, yeah. Matter of fact, Castro's
- 13:42backroom. Good friend of mine, my buddy
- 13:43Eric, Twin Smoke shop, my buddy Kurt.
- 13:47I made sure they all knew about Espinosa cigars, even though
- 13:49they did, but they didn't know the whole thing, right.
- 13:52So Erica Pinosa got me aside and he says, so you're the one
- 13:56pushing my cigars in New England.
- 13:58I said yeah. He shook my hand, gave me a hug.
- 14:00And he said there's one guy in New England and before Eric
- 14:04could say it, I'd go, the guy's a douche bag.
- 14:07Eric sat back and goes, we'll be OK.
- 14:11Gave me a huge hug and he goes, keep pushing my cigars.
- 14:14You're doing a great job. Thank you.
- 14:15I'm. I'm I don't know that guy.
- 14:18But shout out to you. Shout out, good douche bag,
- 14:23shout out to you. Oh, he is he, You know, when it
- 14:27comes to when it comes to cigar owners, excuse me, it was cigar
- 14:31shop owners. So here in New England, in New
- 14:35England itself, it it's very tight knit company when it comes
- 14:39to doing cigars. So this guy totally forgot about
- 14:42where he came from. Let's put it this way.
- 14:44Are you going to go to a lounge that closes at 5:00 at night?
- 14:48No. No.
- 14:49Hell no. How?
- 14:50How can you get to the lounge? You're at work.
- 14:52You're working stiff. We this is what we do.
- 14:54We work. So after work, I want a freaking
- 14:57bourbon. I want a cigar and I want to sit
- 14:58down and I don't give a shit what's on TV.
- 15:00I'll watch the game. I'll watch Wheel of Fortune.
- 15:02Whatever's on, I don't give a shit.
- 15:03And honestly, most of the time guys like us will put something
- 15:06on our phone and just sit there and watch it ourselves.
- 15:08And so this guy, this guy would open at noon time and his
- 15:12lounges would be closed by 5:00, even on the weekends.
- 15:15I I know of a few places that are like that and and you know,
- 15:20I don't know how they do good business.
- 15:22I don't know. I know they they make money, but
- 15:25they make money somehow, some way.
- 15:27But see, what I found out about this guy is is he had a huge
- 15:34online business, so he don't give a shit about Joe Schmo's
- 15:39like us. Because he's making money
- 15:40regardless. No matter what he's making his
- 15:43money. He don't give a shit about guys
- 15:44like us. Why?
- 15:45Why haven't got that open? They got to up charge the boxes
- 15:48a little bit to make the cost right so.
- 15:52And let me give you a Now Big Dog knows me.
- 15:54Let me give you, for instance, on a Sunday.
- 15:59I've been wrestling all weekend. I got, I got my ass kicked.
- 16:01I'm just want to settle in. A buddy of mine lives in Salem,
- 16:06NH, and he says, listen, there's a cigar shop down the street.
- 16:09The game's on was watch a game with me.
- 16:12So you know what sounds good? Get in the car, drive down
- 16:14there. So we're sitting there now.
- 16:15Guys, this is no bullshit. I swear on my daughter's eyes,
- 16:18was sitting there and was smoking a cigar and all of a
- 16:22sudden the guy working the place comes up, we're watching the
- 16:24Patriots and shuts the TV off. What?
- 16:30Yes, shut off the TV. I'd have been like Sir, do you
- 16:35do you want a quick right hand in the face?
- 16:37Bruh, in the Now, of course I wanted to see this game because
- 16:40I love when the Patriots play the Giants.
- 16:44We beat you twice in the Super Bowl.
- 16:45I just want to let. You know that with, that's
- 16:49right, 100%. And and you won.
- 16:51And you won with a tuck. Rule.
- 16:53Against the Raiders in the old It wasn't the old one.
- 16:56Super Bowl you won with a tuck rule.
- 16:59Listen. That if if they had review back
- 17:05then that was not a catch. Yo oh.
- 17:08No. Nope.
- 17:09If Ty listen that was all full on catch that Tyree caught on
- 17:12his head and you're not going to tell me No.
- 17:14Mind your business. Touching the ground.
- 17:16Listen, he's a he's a 40. He's a 49ers fan.
- 17:19He don't count. Oh.
- 17:20He don't count. Yeah, he don't count.
- 17:22He's a 49ers fan. He don't count.
- 17:25They don't count. When the Giants match our
- 17:27championships, then we'll talk and the Jack.
- 17:31We'll match the Patriots and the 49ers with titles.
- 17:34Then we'll talk. We got four.
- 17:35We only need 3 to get to the Patriots, and this new
- 17:37quarterback man is. 4 Super Bowl.
- 17:39Yes, we do. Super.
- 17:41Bowl. Yeah, we.
- 17:42Do. Yes, we do.
- 17:43We have 4 Super Bowls. Yo, are you?
- 17:46They only have four Giants have 4:00.
- 17:48Four. Twice to the Patriots, and I
- 17:50forget who the other two we're against.
- 17:52Four. Hello, 123.
- 17:54Four. I just I the one that's the two
- 17:57that stick in my head are are the two Super Bowl moments are
- 18:00Tyrese catch and when Bradshaw tried to not sit in the end zone
- 18:05and he fell sitting down into the end zone and scored, he
- 18:08yelled you can't that you don't really get a better moment than
- 18:11him not trying to score and he just happens.
- 18:13Can't think, cannot take, cannot take that away.
- 18:17Nope. But that's crazy, bro.
- 18:20I can't believe that guy did that.
- 18:21And and walked in and shut the TV off.
- 18:24That's at. 5:00 in the afternoon or Sunday, watching the
- 18:27Patriots. A room is full of people.
- 18:30We're all smoking. We're all smoking cigars we
- 18:31bought from that shop and he didn't shut the TV off.
- 18:34So I look up and go, what are we doing?
- 18:36He goes, oh, we're closing. I go, It's third quarter.
- 18:39Can't you? He goes, no, I can't.
- 18:41And literally I go, Are you fucking kidding me right now?
- 18:44Is this a joke? I'm.
- 18:45I'm looking around and waiting for Ashton Kutcher to jump out.
- 18:47I'm like, am I being punk? Third quarter and they shut the
- 18:51game. Oh my, shut the game off.
- 18:53And they didn't. They didn't try to, like, kill
- 18:55him. Listen, the guy that I was with
- 19:00made Big Sal look like a bitch. I did not.
- 19:03See this one? That's tough to do.
- 19:05Wow. OK, this guy was a monster.
- 19:08Big C, He's A. Former, He's a former MMA guy
- 19:12and he's a monster. And so I had to grab him because
- 19:18I said let's just go because I know what's going to happen.
- 19:20Let's just get the fuck out of here because I.
- 19:22Walk out. Let's go somewhere else.
- 19:24So literally he he he gets up and of course the chair goes to
- 19:28the side and he looks at this guy and the guy just, I thought
- 19:31he was going to melt. And I looked at my buddy, I
- 19:34looked at my buddy, and I go. Not today.
- 19:36Leave it. Alone.
- 19:38And he just looked at that guy and went thank you for not
- 19:41having. Us.
- 19:42Yeah, you know lounges like that unfortunately, and and we've all
- 19:47seen him, every place has a couple of them no matter where
- 19:50you are and it's it's the worst possible thing in the world to
- 19:55have. It is horrible.
- 19:57Because it it screws up guys like us who either been working
- 20:01all week or you know like you said, you know, let's just say
- 20:04you, you know, travel day was Friday, you wrestled on
- 20:06Saturday, traveled home Sunday, and you have to stop by this
- 20:10place on your way home or you know, you get a buddy.
- 20:12Hey listen, I'm, you know, I'm at the lounge.
- 20:14Why don't you come hang out? You want.
- 20:16To go unwind you want to relax. You know and and ask.
- 20:19You know they're going to ask questions of you know what
- 20:22what'd you do this weekend? Who did you wrestle You know
- 20:24you're going to get and and it we we love to talk about it.
- 20:27But you know I want to unwind and watch a game or you know
- 20:32watch ATV show. It doesn't matter what's on the
- 20:34damn TVI. Don't.
- 20:35Care. I just want to have my bourbon
- 20:37and have a cigar. I was in a lounge, you know,
- 20:39with one guy we were watching. It was a bunch of us.
- 20:47There was, there was a bunch of us in a lounge by my house.
- 20:52And it was kind of the same situation except, you know, you
- 20:56didn't know when he was open because he didn't really tell
- 20:58you when he was open. He had no set hours.
- 21:01And he nicest guy in the world. I mean the nicest guy in the
- 21:04world. We were all in there one night
- 21:06watching. It was a Saturday.
- 21:08I was in there early. I had off from work that day.
- 21:10I'm like because he was at work. I said when you're on your way
- 21:13because he was working in Westchester, so sit on your way
- 21:15up. I'm at the lounge, come hang
- 21:17out. I go, We're all sitting down.
- 21:19Bunch of guys come in, we're smoking.
- 21:21College football's on we go, yo, put on the game.
- 21:25So we had the game on. He comes in, oh, nothing good's
- 21:27on And he changes it. And I was like, what are you
- 21:32doing? And all the guys, like, yeah,
- 21:35I'm going home. He's like, oh, you're not
- 21:36standing there. Like, no, I'm good.
- 21:37I'm like, Oh my God, I'm like, dude, it didn't matter if the
- 21:41game was terrible. No shit.
- 21:44At least let us watch it until we feel it's terrible, and then
- 21:47turn the shit off. He just walked in and was like,
- 21:52he sat down with us, hung out. And then he was like, ah man,
- 21:54this game ain't really that good.
- 21:55And he had three TV's, and all three TV's were playing The One
- 21:58Show. And I'm like, you've.
- 22:01I'm like what? So Derek, I got a question.
- 22:06Yes, Sir. Call.
- 22:07Take me behind the curtain a little bit here with protocol.
- 22:10Where's your tobacco come from and what is your favorite?
- 22:16What is your favorite protocol cigar and what is your favorite
- 22:20cigar of all? Or is it one in the same?
- 22:24So everything is done in the Steli and in Lazona, in
- 22:27Nicaragua, it's all Nicaraguan because like I said, Espinosa is
- 22:32the one who does our cigars for us.
- 22:34So every everything is done in Nicaragua, Steli in Lazona.
- 22:38When it comes to protocol, I am 100 Brazilian trillion percent
- 22:44OG blue. OK, I don't.
- 22:47It's just it's a blue table with AP in the center.
- 22:50Yeah, I don't know if I've had that one.
- 22:52I know I can tell you. I've had the, the, the femius,
- 22:54The femius. That was I I I think we took a
- 23:02day trip. Me and my dad and a buddy of
- 23:05ours took a trip out to CI Yeah Hamburg and they had them.
- 23:11You better believe it. And I happened to pick one up
- 23:14because I was just, you know, we're just picking up a bunch of
- 23:16cigars that day. And I had picked one up and I
- 23:20had smoked that. I think on the way home or the
- 23:23next day I picked up a couple of them, a few different ones.
- 23:26And I don't know if it was the blue or the red I had, but I
- 23:29know before I had the THEMIS, which was the gold one.
- 23:32Oh, and that is so cool. At Connecticut is is just I'm
- 23:36going to assume it's got to be some sort of I'm not saying
- 23:39close to the knuckle sandwich but that that creaminess that
- 23:42punch you know it's got that same that same punch as as you
- 23:47know yeah it's got the eight factor that that creaminess of
- 23:51it. Now I have unbelievable knuckle
- 23:53sandwich so I I can't compare it to that yet.
- 23:57I will be smoking that maybe oh maybe I can smoke that on
- 24:01tomorrow's podcast. I could do that or next Sunday's
- 24:05podcast. So true.
- 24:07Derek So Derek what is your listen, what's your favorite
- 24:11cigar like in general what was your your like one that you your
- 24:16go to that you look forward to and if it's protocol great and
- 24:20if it's not what is it. My favorite cigar of all time.
- 24:25Number one, I don't care where I am in the world.
- 24:29Have to be the Padron 64 #4. Haven't had that in New York.
- 24:35Obviously, you know that those cigars, you know, range up to
- 24:3840-50 bucks. And leave it.
- 24:41What? What was?
- 24:42So now let me ask you, 'cause I got this question.
- 24:45What was your very first cigar? And then I'll tell you what mine
- 24:48was. So you're gonna laugh.
- 24:52So my very, very, very. Because my grandfather used to
- 24:57smoke cigars and my my older brother was a lot older than me.
- 25:01And what he would do is he would steal cigars off my
- 25:05grandfather's dresser and go down the street with his buddies
- 25:07and smoke cigars. And I remember that one time he
- 25:12was like, come on, come on, come on.
- 25:13I went with him. And of course they open it,
- 25:16they. And back then he was like, yeah,
- 25:19bite it off, spit it out, light it up.
- 25:23And it was a Tabernacle. So.
- 25:30The Tabernacle. So now that we on wrestling and
- 25:36everything else, so when did you start smoking cigars and
- 25:43wrestling? He said when he he smoking
- 25:46before wrestling, he said he was smoking before wrestling he was
- 25:49smoking at the ECW arena and stuff like that and then.
- 25:54Paulie saw me Outback. I was with, I was with the balls
- 25:57and and at the time I was standing with balls Candido and
- 26:00Tammy and I was smoking a cigar and Paul happened to go through
- 26:04the door and Taz came out and went around.
- 26:07Maybe right now it's like. She's in jail for like I think
- 26:1118 years or something like. That she.
- 26:15She's going to do a solid 18. At at minimum.
- 26:20But she got, she got, she got 18 to 25.
- 26:24Yeah, she's going to do 18 at minimum.
- 26:26She. Has to do 18 before they can
- 26:28even consider parole. Now I will tell you what my
- 26:32first cigar was. My first cigar was Oh oh, that's
- 26:39the famous, isn't it? Yes, it is.
- 26:43My first cigar was Acid Blondie by Drew Estate.
- 26:49That was my first cigar. Here we.
- 26:51Go. Great cigar.
- 26:52Oh I was I thought it was fantastic.
- 26:57I I, you know at the time I it's not for my palate now.
- 27:02At the time it was it was great. It's just not for me and I'm a
- 27:10real estate guy. I'm friends with a lot of the
- 27:11guys, a lot of the reps, even though that comes down to to
- 27:15Florida, Will. Yep, MC Hollywood.
- 27:19Oh man, they left me and will at the ask the ask this guy.
- 27:22They left me and will at the same place next to each other at
- 27:25Barnsmoker the night before that was that was the mistakes number
- 27:31one through 50. And then oh man, brother, the
- 27:38stuff that we get into and then he posts stuff up because I'm
- 27:41friends with him. He'll put you can't talk to me
- 27:43that way or whatever and I'll comment.
- 27:45I'll talk to you however I want to.
- 27:47And he laughs at me like, you know, it's just and people want
- 27:49to know. You know?
- 27:50And I know you can attest to this.
- 27:53How do you become friends with these guys?
- 27:54And you know what? My answer to them is a simple
- 27:57Hey how you doing? How are you?
- 28:00Yep, introduce yourself. I said that's all it takes.
- 28:03That's how I became friends with all these guys.
- 28:05Yep, introduce yourself. Literally the way I became
- 28:08friends, I said. I walked up to these guys my
- 28:10last year at Barn Smoker for the, you know, or two years ago
- 28:13at Barn Smoker, I should say now.
- 28:16And I mean, I, I, you know, the guy that knows us was walked us
- 28:21over. He goes, this is this one, this
- 28:22is this one. You know, Zach, you know this,
- 28:24hey, how are you? And from there on we became
- 28:26friends And then they're all like, yo, you guys are coming
- 28:28next year. Absolutely.
- 28:30You know, they asked me this. They asked me this pastor.
- 28:32Yo, you guys come to the ones next year.
- 28:33I said, that's a stupid question.
- 28:36I'm like, that's a dumb question.
- 28:37I said, if I, why wouldn't I come?
- 28:39Did you do the, did you do the Barnsmoker in Connecticut?
- 28:42I did pencil. So the first year was
- 28:44Connecticut, second year was PA Connecticut.
