- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hawkerel Energy Podcast. I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is
- 0:19Speaker 1: your weekly reminder that it's a new day, a new week,
- 0:22Speaker 1: a new mindset, and another day for you to become
- 0:24Speaker 1: the Hawkerel Energy you want to attract. Hello you guys,
- 0:27Speaker 1: Happy Wednesday, Welcome back to another episode. I apologize that
- 0:31Speaker 1: this episode is either a day late or a few
- 0:34Speaker 1: hours late. But your girl had to watch the Summer
- 0:38Speaker 1: I turned pretty finale. It just was a muss. I
- 0:41Speaker 1: woke up this morning and I'm like, Okay, I'll probably
- 0:43Speaker 1: just watch it tonight, like no big deal. And then
- 0:46Speaker 1: I was like, you know what, No, I actually need
- 0:47Speaker 1: to watch this now. I cannot think about this all
- 0:51Speaker 1: day and just like not know what the ending is.
- 0:54Speaker 1: I know some people that stayed up till midnight when
- 0:56Speaker 1: it got released or one am, whatever the time was,
- 0:59Speaker 1: and they watch that night. Like I just felt like
- 1:01Speaker 1: it was something that I had to watch and thought
- 1:03Speaker 1: we could do a quick little debrief about the episode.
- 1:06Speaker 1: So if you haven't seen it, skip past his part.
- 1:08Speaker 1: I'm only going to talk for like five minutes about this,
- 1:10Speaker 1: but oh my goodness, I just have to say that
- 1:15Speaker 1: was probably the most incredible finale ever. I'm not even
- 1:19Speaker 1: over exaggerating. I've seen all three seasons. Obviously, I was
- 1:23Speaker 1: obsessed with the show, and I felt like these like
- 1:26Speaker 1: last few episodes, we were all kind of like really
- 1:29Speaker 1: unsure about how the ending was gonna go, because I
- 1:31Speaker 1: really felt like they kind of made it seem like
- 1:33Speaker 1: Belly was gonna choose herself and not end up with Conrad.
- 1:37Speaker 1: And then the ending like everything about it, like him
- 1:41Speaker 1: showing up, making you know him and her basically about
- 1:43Speaker 1: the entire episode, you know, their freaking love scene for
- 1:48Speaker 1: like what three minutes from the you know, uh cab
- 1:52Speaker 1: ride to the freaking staircase to the bedroom. Like I'm like,
- 1:55Speaker 1: oh my goodness, like literally incredible, and then all of
- 2:00Speaker 1: a sudden, a complete turn of events taken to place
- 2:02Speaker 1: where Belly's all of a sudden saying yeah, she's not
- 2:05Speaker 1: sure she loves him or not. It's like, oh, okay,
- 2:08Speaker 1: why did we change that direction? Like I literally shared
- 2:11Speaker 1: my live reaction because I felt so confused, Like the
- 2:14Speaker 1: last fifteen minutes of the episode, I'm like, Okay, they're
- 2:17Speaker 1: in love, They're gonna go back to cousins everything's gonna
- 2:19Speaker 1: be great. And then all of a sudden, no, that's
- 2:22Speaker 1: not the case. Belly basically was like, yeah, well, I'm
- 2:24Speaker 1: not sure if like I can commit to this, and
- 2:27Speaker 1: I don't think I want to go back. It's like, oh, okay,
- 2:29Speaker 1: So now Conrad's getting on a train to fucking Belgium,
- 2:33Speaker 1: and it's like, are you freaking kidding me? Like the
- 2:35Speaker 1: fact you're letting him walk away right now, I was
- 2:37Speaker 1: so pissed in that moment. I'm like, this cannot be
- 2:39Speaker 1: the way it ends. And then all of a sudden,
- 2:42Speaker 1: she obviously changes her mind. She starts running after him.
- 2:44Speaker 1: I'm freaking out by myself in my house, like, oh
- 2:47Speaker 1: my god, she's running after him, Like what if she
- 2:49Speaker 1: gets on the wrong train. She needs to get on
- 2:51Speaker 1: the right train to make sure that, you know, they
- 2:53Speaker 1: see each other and that she's willing to, you know,
- 2:55Speaker 1: fight for him and take him back or whatever. And
- 2:58Speaker 1: she gets on the train and they had the most
- 3:00Speaker 1: passionate kids on the train, and I'm like, oh my goodness,
- 3:05Speaker 1: I am so beyond happy. She goes back to cousins
- 3:08Speaker 1: after a year later. You know, I'm sure obviously we
- 3:11Speaker 1: didn't see like clips of them in Paris, but I'm
- 3:13Speaker 1: sure they did like a year of distance, you know,
- 3:15Speaker 1: probably went to go visit her all that, and then
- 3:18Speaker 1: now she's back and cousins, and I just like hope
- 3:21Speaker 1: that they're obviously like in Susanna's house and they get
- 3:25Speaker 1: married and anyways, I just cannot believe how good the
- 3:28Speaker 1: ending turned out. A lot of people on TikTok are
- 3:30Speaker 1: talking about some things that we still don't know about,
- 3:33Speaker 1: like Belly opening the letter that Susannah wrote her. I
- 3:36Speaker 1: think that's a big one in my opinion, like we
- 3:38Speaker 1: have no idea anything about that. We don't know if
- 3:41Speaker 1: they get married. Like obviously at the end, they just
- 3:42Speaker 1: showed like a photo album of them, you know, in
- 3:45Speaker 1: Paris during Christmas, So it would have been nice to
- 3:47Speaker 1: kind of see, like the future, does Jeremiah go to
- 3:50Speaker 1: California with this girl? You know, Taylor and Steven, how's
- 3:54Speaker 1: their life in California? So I kind of wish there
- 3:55Speaker 1: was a little bit more maybe like seven months later
- 3:59Speaker 1: or a year later, of kind of like what was
- 4:02Speaker 1: going on. Like I know they showed them obviously being
- 4:05Speaker 1: back in cousins like Belly and Conrad, but I wish
- 4:08Speaker 1: we kind of knew a little bit more information about
- 4:10Speaker 1: the characters. But anyways, that's my shpiel. I just wanted
- 4:13Speaker 1: to like let that out of my system because I'm
- 4:15Speaker 1: sure maybe some of you have seen the show, or
- 4:18Speaker 1: you know, watch the finale, or you haven't seen the show.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I feel like it's such a big thing on social
- 4:23Speaker 1: media right now, So if you have not seen the
- 4:25Speaker 1: Summer I Turn pretty I highly recommend you do. So.
- 4:29Speaker 1: I feel like, obviously if you haven't seen it, like yes,
- 4:31Speaker 1: I kind of gave a spoiler away, but also you'll
- 4:34Speaker 1: be able to kind of like get the whole storyline
- 4:37Speaker 1: from the beginning to end in the best way possible.
- 4:40Speaker 1: So I still think it's worth watching. But wow, wow,
- 4:44Speaker 1: wow wow, I'm so happy with how the ending turned out.
- 4:47Speaker 1: And yeah, I just wanted to do a little debrief
- 4:50Speaker 1: on the podcast because I was pretty happy about how
- 4:53Speaker 1: the finale went. In this episode this week, we're going
- 4:55Speaker 1: to be talking about some fall trends along with some
- 4:58Speaker 1: September favorites because I have purchased a few things this
- 5:02Speaker 1: month and I'm already loving these things and just things
- 5:04Speaker 1: that I may have done for the fall season. Along
- 5:07Speaker 1: with sharing some fashion trends, just because I talked about
- 5:10Speaker 1: it in the Things to look forward to for Fall
- 5:13Speaker 1: episode where I said I would talk about things that
- 5:15Speaker 1: I'm really looking forward to styling this fall, along with
- 5:19Speaker 1: just like things that I'm looking forward to purchasing. So
- 5:21Speaker 1: almost like a little wish list of things that I
- 5:24Speaker 1: think is like the ideal thing to have for fall.
- 5:27Speaker 1: So again, wishless, this is not something that you all
- 5:29Speaker 1: need to buy. It's just more so trends that I'm
- 5:31Speaker 1: loving for the fall season that might inspire you for
- 5:35Speaker 1: fall fashion and all that, and then again some September
- 5:37Speaker 1: favorites that I think you guys would love as well
- 5:40Speaker 1: for the fall season. Also, a few of you guys
- 5:43Speaker 1: have actually messaged me because obviously I've been trying to
- 5:45Speaker 1: get into TV shows for the fall, and I talked
- 5:49Speaker 1: about how I wanted to watch a fall TV show.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I'm definitely very into The Gilmore Girls now, which I'm
- 5:54Speaker 1: so happy about. I think it was just the first
- 5:56Speaker 1: few episodes that I couldn't get into, but now I'm
- 5:58Speaker 1: very much loving it. So that's been a great show
- 6:00Speaker 1: to watch. And then another one that I just found
- 6:03Speaker 1: on Amazon. It's actually a new show. It's called The Girlfriend.
- 6:07Speaker 1: If you like like a psycho thriller kind of vibe,
- 6:10Speaker 1: you guys need to watch this TV show. It's about
- 6:12Speaker 1: a mom who's kind of like obsessed with their son
- 6:15Speaker 1: and then the girlfriend who kind of seems psychotic. And
- 6:19Speaker 1: you see it from two different perspectives. You see it
- 6:21Speaker 1: from the mom's side of how she feels about the girlfriend,
- 6:23Speaker 1: and then how the girlfriend sees the mom. And I
- 6:26Speaker 1: don't know, it's just like really hard to see, like
- 6:29Speaker 1: who's the psycho one, Like, at one point you think
- 6:31Speaker 1: it's the mom, and then another point you think it's
- 6:33Speaker 1: the girlfriend. So it's kind of cool how there's just
- 6:36Speaker 1: like so many different perspectives of seeing the situation. And
- 6:38Speaker 1: I just love how they portrayed the show and how
- 6:41Speaker 1: they've done it so far, and just how it's kind
- 6:43Speaker 1: of like into spooky season with it being a bit
- 6:46Speaker 1: of a thriller. So if you're looking for a new
- 6:48Speaker 1: TV show to watch, highly highly recommend The Girlfriend. I
- 6:50Speaker 1: think I'm almost done the first season. I think I
- 6:53Speaker 1: have one or two more episodes, but very much into it.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Don't want to give any spoilers, So if you have
- 6:57Speaker 1: Amazon Prime, it's on that along with The Summer I
- 7:00Speaker 1: Turn Pretty, which was the show I just talked about
- 7:02Speaker 1: that I watched the finale of, and then Gilmore Girls
- 7:05Speaker 1: I believe is on Netflix. So let's get into today's episode.
- 7:08Speaker 1: We're going to start off with September favorites, things that
- 7:11Speaker 1: I've been loving for September so far, along with some
- 7:14Speaker 1: fall trends that I'm obsessed with for the fall season.
- 7:17Speaker 1: All Right, the first September favorite that I've been loving
- 7:20Speaker 1: is cherry red nails. I actually just got my nails
- 7:23Speaker 1: done on Monday, and I'm obsessed with this color. I got.
- 7:27Speaker 1: The specific color name that I got is winter Wine
- 7:31Speaker 1: by the brand DND. So if you're looking for the
- 7:33Speaker 1: perfect cherry red shade for your nails, highly recommend trying
- 7:37Speaker 1: out this shade. Legit perfection in my opinion. I posted
- 7:40Speaker 1: an Instagram story of the color that I got, and
- 7:43Speaker 1: I feel like I got a lot of dms just
- 7:44Speaker 1: saying like, what's the exact color all that? So that's
- 7:47Speaker 1: the exact color in the exact brand. I'm obsessed with it.
- 7:50Speaker 1: I definitely want to do dark brown nails as well
- 7:53Speaker 1: or navy nails. I feel like dark nails in general
- 7:56Speaker 1: during this time of the year is just so fun
- 7:58Speaker 1: to do, and I feel like I never do dark
- 8:01Speaker 1: nails in the summer or in the winter, so I
- 8:03Speaker 1: feel like, if you're wanting to try out dark nails,
- 8:07Speaker 1: this is the time to do. So. I've done dark
- 8:09Speaker 1: brown and navy in the past and both loved those
- 8:12Speaker 1: colors as well. I did also change my nail shape,
- 8:15Speaker 1: which I think I talked about in a previous episode,
- 8:18Speaker 1: but I did go to square French, which I loved, Okay,
- 8:22Speaker 1: absolutely loved it. But I did change back to oval
- 8:25Speaker 1: for this time around, not because I didn't like the square.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I did love the square. It's just I did these
- 8:30Speaker 1: exact nails this time last year, and I just loved
- 8:33Speaker 1: the way it looked. So I didn't want to do
- 8:35Speaker 1: the square and be disappointed because I felt like I
- 8:38Speaker 1: loved them so much last year that I might as
- 8:40Speaker 1: well just do the exact same thing. So I'll probably
- 8:43Speaker 1: go back to square either the next time or the
- 8:46Speaker 1: following appointment, with either doing dark brown nails with a
- 8:49Speaker 1: square shape or maybe the navy. I just really loved
- 8:53Speaker 1: my nails last year I wanted to replicate it. So
- 8:56Speaker 1: if you're looking for a fun color to do for
- 8:58Speaker 1: the fall season, I highly recommend checking out Cherry Red
- 9:01Speaker 1: and try out the winter Wine by D and D.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Another thing I've been loving for September is swayed anything
- 9:08Speaker 1: swayed like swayede jackets, swayed begs. I actually just ordered
- 9:12Speaker 1: this chocolate brown swayed toute that I'm very excited to receive.
- 9:16Speaker 1: But just anything swayed right now, I feel like has
- 9:18Speaker 1: been calling my name. I feel like it's just a
- 9:21Speaker 1: very like common trend as well for the fall season.
- 9:24Speaker 1: So if you feel like you need something swayed, there's
- 9:28Speaker 1: so many things that you could find. There's swayed tops,
- 9:31Speaker 1: there's swayed shorts, there's again swayede jackets like bomber jackets,
- 9:35Speaker 1: swayed bags all that. There's also a lot of cute
- 9:38Speaker 1: swayed bags on Amazon that I've seen, like cute little clutches.
- 9:42Speaker 1: I'll link some of the things that I'm talking about
- 9:43Speaker 1: as well on my LTK, just because I know sometimes
- 9:45Speaker 1: you guys want me to link things when I talk
- 9:47Speaker 1: about it in a podcast episode. So everything that I'll
- 9:49Speaker 1: be talking about here, I'll link it if it's linkable.
- 9:53Speaker 1: But yeah, swayed anything has definitely been something that I've
- 9:57Speaker 1: been loving for this month. Something that I've purchased recently
- 10:00Speaker 1: that I also love is my chocolate brown water bottle.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I just got a new one because guys, I lost
- 10:06Speaker 1: my water bottle at the wedding I was at two
- 10:08Speaker 1: weekends ago and was so sad because I really did
- 10:12Speaker 1: love it. But I was like, you know what, maybe
- 10:14Speaker 1: it's my opportunity to try something different. And I got
- 10:17Speaker 1: this bottle and the brand is called Bink, and wow,
- 10:22Speaker 1: the quality of these bottles are insane. I love that
- 10:24Speaker 1: it's like this silicone material on the exterior and it's
- 10:28Speaker 1: a glass bottle, and then it has the top where
- 10:32Speaker 1: it's you can close it or open it, which is
- 10:34Speaker 1: nice so you don't have to worry about it like leaking.
- 10:37Speaker 1: But they also have one with a straw top, so
- 10:39Speaker 1: if you wanted to buy the additional piece for it,
- 10:41Speaker 1: you could do a straw toop as well. But I
- 10:43Speaker 1: do really like this because I could throw it in
- 10:45Speaker 1: my toe bag and know that it's not going to leak,
- 10:47Speaker 1: which is great. So really really love that. That's a
- 10:50Speaker 1: purchase that I've been loving for September so far. Another
- 10:54Speaker 1: thing that I love for September is I've definitely changed
- 10:56Speaker 1: up my routine. As you guys know, I've definitely been
- 10:59Speaker 1: romanticized my morning and night routine by like lighting candles,
- 11:03Speaker 1: turning on the fireplace, making a coffee, having slow mornings,
- 11:07Speaker 1: like truly just taking advantage of the fall season and
- 11:11Speaker 1: romanticizing the shit out of my routines. And it just feels,
- 11:14Speaker 1: honestly so good to change up my routine and also
- 11:18Speaker 1: just you know, really try to feel like I'm in
- 11:21Speaker 1: the fall season by making my space just feel extra
- 11:25Speaker 1: cozy all that. Obviously, I decorated the entire house, which
- 11:29Speaker 1: I feel like it just looks so good, and I'm
- 11:31Speaker 1: just obsessed with how the house looks right now. So
- 11:34Speaker 1: definitely make that extra mile of decorating your space or
- 11:37Speaker 1: again just romanticizing your mornings by lighting a candle, turning
- 11:41Speaker 1: on a fireplace, whatever the case may be. Like it
- 11:43Speaker 1: truly does feel better doing the smallest task and the
- 11:47Speaker 1: littlest things in your morning or in your night. And
- 11:49Speaker 1: by doing the little things, like you know, creating a
- 11:53Speaker 1: whole ambiance and romanticizing your nights by actually making the
- 11:56Speaker 1: effort of doing those little things just makes you feel
- 12:00Speaker 1: ten times better doing those things like having a candle
- 12:02Speaker 1: it while making dinner with my husband. I love that shit,
- 12:05Speaker 1: Like I freaking love it. I feel good, have my
- 12:07Speaker 1: fireplace on, have a good TV shown in the background.
- 12:11Speaker 1: You know, if I didn't do any of those little
- 12:12Speaker 1: things that kind of like make the dinner experience more enjoyable,
- 12:17Speaker 1: then you know, it's just like it's just cooking dinner
- 12:19Speaker 1: with your husband. It's just kind of like whatever, like
- 12:21Speaker 1: doesn't really feel enjoyable. So if you make it enjoyable
- 12:24Speaker 1: by doing those little things, it just kind of makes
- 12:27Speaker 1: your night feel better, you know what I mean. So anyways,
- 12:31Speaker 1: DEATH recommend trying to romanticize every little thing, even like
- 12:34Speaker 1: going on walks or anything like that, like put on
- 12:37Speaker 1: a cute workout set, you know, maybe go to a
- 12:39Speaker 1: coffee shop and treat yourself, like make the walk more
- 12:42Speaker 1: enjoyable than it sounds, right, Like going on a walk
- 12:44Speaker 1: just sounds basic, But if you make it more fun
- 12:47Speaker 1: by doing those little things really just makes you enjoy
- 12:50Speaker 1: it even more. So definitely romanticize your mornings and nights
- 12:53Speaker 1: and just your life in general, obviously, but I feel
- 12:55Speaker 1: like for the fall season, you might as well enjoy
- 12:58Speaker 1: it and create a little fun ambiance while doing it.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Other things I love to do in September is usually
- 13:06Speaker 1: go apple pickings. I feel like this is the prime
- 13:08Speaker 1: season to go apple picking, and I feel like it's
- 13:10Speaker 1: just such a fun fall activity to do with a
- 13:12Speaker 1: girlfriend or husband. Going on a walk in the trails.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Zach and I have been doing that every Sunday, honestly
- 13:19Speaker 1: since September has started, and we've been walking in a
- 13:22Speaker 1: trail by our place, going to treat yourself to a
- 13:25Speaker 1: coffee and just like seeing the leaves change all that. Again,
- 13:28Speaker 1: something that's small but feels really enjoyable and just yeah,
- 13:32Speaker 1: I really enjoyed doing it with him. And we also
- 13:34Speaker 1: went to the farmer's market and again just picked up bread,
- 13:37Speaker 1: picked up like homemade treats for Freddy. Something that's a
- 13:40Speaker 1: fall activity, but doing it together just made it more
- 13:43Speaker 1: fun and more enjoyable. So highly recommend doing that if
- 13:47Speaker 1: you haven't had a fall weekend with your boyfriend or
- 13:50Speaker 1: your sister or your best friend. The last September favorite
- 13:53Speaker 1: that I could think of that I recently have been
- 13:55Speaker 1: doing is darker makeup, So just kind of doing like
- 13:58Speaker 1: darker eyeshadow, darker blushes, like a burgundy or a plumb shade.
- 14:03Speaker 1: I've been loving the Road Espresso lip gloss. I feel
- 14:06Speaker 1: like that's like a darker lip gloss than I typically use.
- 14:08Speaker 1: So just kind of changing up my makeup for the
- 14:11Speaker 1: fall season has been fun to do. I feel like
- 14:13Speaker 1: it's always nice to kind of change up your routine
- 14:16Speaker 1: going into a new season. Feel Like, in the winter,
- 14:19Speaker 1: obviously I'm paler, so I feel like I really try
- 14:21Speaker 1: and create like a bronzy, golden look by enhancing my
- 14:24Speaker 1: skin tone to more of a tanner look. In the summer,
- 14:27Speaker 1: I try to do more of a natural makeup routine
- 14:29Speaker 1: because I feel like I already have so much color,
- 14:31Speaker 1: I don't need to put too much makeup on my face.
- 14:33Speaker 1: So I try and take advantage of my tan and
- 14:36Speaker 1: just kind of enhance the makeup by just adding a
- 14:38Speaker 1: little bit of bronzer, a little bit of blush. Don't
- 14:40Speaker 1: typically wear mascara, and then like a light nude lipstick.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Whereas now, going into the fall, I feel like I've
- 14:46Speaker 1: been doing more darker makeup, you know, darker lipstick, darker bronzer,
- 14:50Speaker 1: darker blush all that. So just kind of playing around
- 14:53Speaker 1: with my makeup's been kind of fun. And yeah, as
- 14:55Speaker 1: I said, I've been loving the Road Espresso lip Bomb.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I actually just reach and started using these Summer Friday's
- 15:02Speaker 1: New cream blushes in this like I forget what it's called.
- 15:07Speaker 1: It's something like it actually has something with plumb in it.
- 15:10Speaker 1: I will link it on my LTK for the exact
- 15:12Speaker 1: Summer Friday's blush I'm referring to. And then for an
- 15:15Speaker 1: eyeshadow palette, I've been loving the makeup by Mario. I
- 15:18Speaker 1: think it's just like his classic palette with honestly a
- 15:22Speaker 1: bunch of different brown and golden shades and I've been
- 15:25Speaker 1: using that just to kind of like darken up my eyeshadows.
- 15:28Speaker 1: So those would be my September favorite so far that
- 15:31Speaker 1: I've either purchased or things that I've been loving for
- 15:33Speaker 1: this month. So now let's start talking about my fall
- 15:37Speaker 1: wishless or just fall trends in general that I'm obsessed
- 15:40Speaker 1: with that I think you guys will also love for
- 15:43Speaker 1: the fall season. I personally just love scrolling on social
- 15:46Speaker 1: media finding ways to kind of like enhance my style, right,
- 15:49Speaker 1: So I feel like there's always ways to make yourself
- 15:53Speaker 1: feel a little bit more confident, and I feel like
- 15:55Speaker 1: fashion is something that is always difficult for some people.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I think it's hard to know how to style yourself
- 16:02Speaker 1: or how to dress. I've had so many circumstances where,
- 16:05Speaker 1: you know, I buy certain things, I try it on,
- 16:08Speaker 1: you know, because maybe someone influenced me and I really
- 16:11Speaker 1: liked it on them, and then I tried it on
- 16:12Speaker 1: myself and I'm like, this is just not me, you
- 16:15Speaker 1: know what I mean. Like, there's just certain things that
- 16:17Speaker 1: I think certain people can pull off, and there's certain
- 16:20Speaker 1: things that I'm like, yeah, Nope, this is just not
- 16:22Speaker 1: for me. And that's okay. So I think finding fashion
- 16:25Speaker 1: and fall pieces can be difficult and it's very much
- 16:28Speaker 1: trial and error. I just did a recent Zara hall.
- 16:31Speaker 1: I ordered two jackets that I thought I was going
- 16:33Speaker 1: to love. It was a short trench coat and this
- 16:36Speaker 1: leather brown jacket. Hated both of them. Thought I was
- 16:39Speaker 1: going to love it, absolutely hated it. Saw it on
- 16:42Speaker 1: another girl though, and I was like, Wow, that looks
- 16:44Speaker 1: amazing on her. So it really just depends on what
- 16:48Speaker 1: suits you. And I think it's okay to know what
- 16:50Speaker 1: you love and what you don't love, and that it's
- 16:52Speaker 1: always going to be a hit and miss when you're
- 16:54Speaker 1: ordering these things. Obviously, ordering online is always going to
- 16:57Speaker 1: be a hit and miss as well, Like trying on
- 16:59Speaker 1: in store definitely helps, but I usually order all my
- 17:02Speaker 1: things online. So one thing that I absolutely love that
- 17:06Speaker 1: I personally feel like anybody can pull off, and it's
- 17:10Speaker 1: a huge fall trend that I think a lot of
- 17:11Speaker 1: people have been doing lately is Cowboy boots. I love
- 17:16Speaker 1: wearing a brown sweded Cowboy boot with a mini skirt
- 17:20Speaker 1: or a pair of shorts. I think it totally just
- 17:23Speaker 1: elevates the entire look. If I wore those shorts and
- 17:27Speaker 1: a chunky sweater with just a basic pair of sneakers,
- 17:30Speaker 1: the outfit would look like shit. Like I'm not even
- 17:32Speaker 1: over exaggerating, like it literally would not make it feel
- 17:35Speaker 1: like a fall outfit. I feel like the Cowboy boots
- 17:38Speaker 1: or any dark brown swede boot just really makes an
- 17:42Speaker 1: outfit feel more fall inspired. So if you're looking to
- 17:47Speaker 1: get a good pair of boots, I highly recommend getting
- 17:49Speaker 1: Cowboy boots. I think it's very cute for the fall
- 17:52Speaker 1: season and honestly just a fall trend that I really
- 17:54Speaker 1: do love. Another fall item that I love for fashion
- 17:58Speaker 1: is barn jackets. I'm sure you guys have probably seen
- 18:01Speaker 1: the barn jackets. It's hard to describe, but I feel
- 18:04Speaker 1: like it's a pretty common thing that people have been
- 18:06Speaker 1: posting a lot about on social media. They sell them
- 18:08Speaker 1: at Zara, they sell them at a Ritzia. I feel like,
- 18:11Speaker 1: honestly everywhere sells a barn jacket at this point. But
- 18:14Speaker 1: it's a really good fall jacket to have because I
- 18:16Speaker 1: feel like it's very casual, but you could also wear
- 18:19Speaker 1: it with like a workout set. It's something that just
- 18:21Speaker 1: like really elevates a look for the fall season. So
- 18:26Speaker 1: definitely check out barn jackets if you've never heard of it.
- 18:28Speaker 1: And I think it's just a really good jacket to
- 18:31Speaker 1: own for the fall season and just a trend that
- 18:33Speaker 1: I've been loving. Another fall trend that isn't fashion specific,
- 18:36Speaker 1: just because I'm trying to talk about more than just
- 18:38Speaker 1: fashion here, but pumpkin maple butter lattes. You guys know,
- 18:44Speaker 1: I love a good pumpkin coffee, and I recently came
- 18:47Speaker 1: across this reel of a girl making this maple butter
- 18:50Speaker 1: pumpkin coffee and I'm like, oh, interesting, Like I want
- 18:52Speaker 1: to watch it. Maybe I'll try and make it. Whatever
- 18:55Speaker 1: went to my grocery store this weekend and I found
- 18:57Speaker 1: the maple butter and the only ingred was pure maple syrup.
- 19:01Speaker 1: It's just in like butter form. So I literally bought
- 19:05Speaker 1: it and I put pumpkin pure pumpkin spice, a little
- 19:08Speaker 1: bit of salt in my shot glass obviously brewed my
- 19:11Speaker 1: espresso shot and wow, wow wow. If you are looking
- 19:14Speaker 1: to try a new coffee recipe for the fall, trust
- 19:16Speaker 1: me on this. You need to try the maple butter
- 19:19Speaker 1: pumpkin coffee. It is incredible. I will try and make
- 19:22Speaker 1: a TikTok this week if you guys want to see
- 19:24Speaker 1: the recipe and how I did it. But it is
- 19:26Speaker 1: very good and definitely something that I fell for for
- 19:29Speaker 1: a fall trend, and I definitely think it's worth trying out,
- 19:33Speaker 1: especially if you're the kind of person that loves pumpkin
- 19:35Speaker 1: and wants to try and create a fall coffee recipe
- 19:39Speaker 1: for your everyday coffee. Another fashion trend that I'm really
- 19:42Speaker 1: loving right now is lace satin shorts. So these shorts
- 19:47Speaker 1: almost look like pajamas. I would say, like it just
- 19:51Speaker 1: kind of looks like a white pair of satin PJ shorts.
- 19:55Speaker 1: But girls are styling it with like chunky sweaters or
- 19:59Speaker 1: chunky jackets. I've also seen people style it with like
- 20:02Speaker 1: a leather jacket, like very very cute, and then they're
- 20:05Speaker 1: pairing it with a pair of like cowboy boots or
- 20:08Speaker 1: black leather boots. And I just find the style looks
- 20:10Speaker 1: very very effortless, but also very chic because of the
- 20:13Speaker 1: satin material. So search it on TikTok search satin shorts.
- 20:19Speaker 1: You can also search satin lace skirts. I think anything
- 20:23Speaker 1: satin right now as a bottom is really really trendy.
- 20:25Speaker 1: So either a lace satin skirt or a lace satin
- 20:29Speaker 1: pair of shorts paired with like a chunky sweater, you
- 20:31Speaker 1: guys will see what I'm referring to. I think it's
- 20:34Speaker 1: just so so cute for the fall, and I mean
- 20:36Speaker 1: you only wear shorts and a chunky sweater for a
- 20:39Speaker 1: very short period of time in the fall, since it
- 20:41Speaker 1: is very warm now. But I do think obviously when
- 20:44Speaker 1: October rolls around, it's gonna be harder to wear a
- 20:47Speaker 1: pair of shorts or a skirt, So definitely take advantage
- 20:50Speaker 1: of styling you know, shorts and skirts now when it's
- 20:54Speaker 1: actually warm out. And yeah, I just think it looks
- 20:56Speaker 1: really really put together and just kind of different than
- 21:00Speaker 1: typical outfit that I would personally wear. But I like that,
- 21:03Speaker 1: Like I like how it's a bit different and unique
- 21:05Speaker 1: and it's something that I find really flattering on everybody.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Another thing I've been loving for a fall trend is stripes,
- 21:12Speaker 1: like stripe mugs, stripe robes, stripe sweaters, like anything with stripes.
- 21:17Speaker 1: I'm obsessed with. Some of the decor that I actually
- 21:19Speaker 1: got has stripes in it, Like if I could buy
- 21:21Speaker 1: stripe pillows, stripe blankets, like I would. I just think
- 21:25Speaker 1: stripes are very very in. And finding stripe colors that
- 21:29Speaker 1: are like in the dark brown shade or light brown
- 21:32Speaker 1: to kind of go with the fall season, or like
- 21:34Speaker 1: a burgundy or cherry red, I feel like it's just
- 21:37Speaker 1: very very in. I know H and M Home has
- 21:40Speaker 1: a lot of good stripe decor along with stripe betting.
- 21:44Speaker 1: If you guys want good fall betting, you need to
- 21:47Speaker 1: go to H and M. Home. So affordable, I have
- 21:51Speaker 1: the dark brown betting. It was maybe fifty dollars I
- 21:54Speaker 1: think fifty or sixty bucks for the duvet cover worth
- 21:56Speaker 1: every single penny. And if you're someone that knows how's
- 22:00Speaker 1: the betting is? Like usually betting I think is it
- 22:02Speaker 1: could be up to like three to four hundred dollars
- 22:04Speaker 1: for a douve cover, which is wild. Furniture in general
- 22:07Speaker 1: is just so expensive or anything related to a house.
- 22:09Speaker 1: But H and M Home has really really good fall pieces,
- 22:13Speaker 1: really really affordable, especially for fall home decor. And Zara
- 22:17Speaker 1: Home is also really good. But definitely check out H
- 22:20Speaker 1: and M Home if you're looking for an affordable fall betting,
- 22:23Speaker 1: because I talk about it all the time, like finding
- 22:25Speaker 1: ways to enhance your space into the season always just
- 22:28Speaker 1: feels so much more enjoyable. So I've obviously changed over
- 22:31Speaker 1: my bedding to make it feel a bit more fall inspired,
- 22:34Speaker 1: and I got the dark brown betting and I really
- 22:35Speaker 1: feel like it makes a huge difference in my bedroom
- 22:39Speaker 1: and I just love the way it looks. So Yeah.
- 22:41Speaker 1: They also have stripe betting, so if you are looking
- 22:44Speaker 1: for a stripe douve cover, H and M Home is
- 22:47Speaker 1: your girl. She has everything, it's affordable, it's cute, and
- 22:51Speaker 1: we'll make sure to link it an LTK if you
- 22:52Speaker 1: guys are interested anyways, love a good stripe anything, stripe mugs,
- 22:56Speaker 1: stripe betting, striped shirts, anything stripe right now, I'm absolutely
- 23:00Speaker 1: obsessed with this. Next one is something that I used
- 23:03Speaker 1: to wear religiously in high school. Okay, yes, uggs still
- 23:07Speaker 1: wear them to this day. Love my ugs. But Hunter
- 23:10Speaker 1: rain boots. This was something that I think became really
- 23:13Speaker 1: popular last year. Correct me if I'm wrong, But I
- 23:16Speaker 1: feel like I saw a lot of girls on Pinterest
- 23:18Speaker 1: and a lot of girls on Instagram starting to style
- 23:21Speaker 1: like red Hunter boots or green Hunter boots with like
- 23:24Speaker 1: a cute fall outfit, and I just love the way
- 23:27Speaker 1: it looks like going apple picking with the cute little
- 23:30Speaker 1: Hunter boots, or you know, if you're the kind of
- 23:32Speaker 1: girl that likes to go to cottages on the weekend,
- 23:34Speaker 1: again whipping out the Hunter rain boots. Usually fall sometimes
- 23:38Speaker 1: has some rainy days, so it doesn't make sense to
- 23:40Speaker 1: have a good pair of rain boots. But I do
- 23:42Speaker 1: just love a colorful rain boot, like in a fun color.
- 23:46Speaker 1: I've been on the hunt to pick them up in
- 23:48Speaker 1: either red or green. I feel like they're always sold
- 23:50Speaker 1: out in my size whenever I want to order them.
- 23:52Speaker 1: But it's a very very cute boot and it's very practical.
- 23:56Speaker 1: You can also wear them in the spring, so I
- 23:59Speaker 1: just feel like a good pair of rain boots is needed,
- 24:01Speaker 1: and I personally do not own a pair. I used
- 24:03Speaker 1: to own a pair of the Black Hunter boots back
- 24:06Speaker 1: in high school and more than religiously, as I said,
- 24:08Speaker 1: but I got rid of them and now I'm like,
- 24:11Speaker 1: I need them again because I love the way it
- 24:13Speaker 1: looks so anyways, but that is something that I've been
- 24:16Speaker 1: loving for fall as well. This next one I get
- 24:19Speaker 1: so many DMS about because I wear them pretty consistently.
- 24:23Speaker 1: But I really love the Tortoise oval eyeglasses. So they're
- 24:27Speaker 1: actually blue light glasses that I wear whenever I'm editing
- 24:30Speaker 1: or on the computer or anything like that. And I
- 24:32Speaker 1: believe there were the mew Meu dupe. I think Meumeu
- 24:35Speaker 1: was the one. I'm sure you guys have heard of
- 24:37Speaker 1: that designer, but they were the original one that actually
- 24:40Speaker 1: I think started this trend, to be honest. And then
- 24:42Speaker 1: I saw Amazon starting to sell dupes, and then the
- 24:45Speaker 1: one I bought is from an actual eyeglass place called
- 24:48Speaker 1: Bonnie Clyde. But I've also seen a lot of eyeglass
- 24:52Speaker 1: or somenglass brands jump onto this trend and create their
- 24:56Speaker 1: own like Tortoise oval eyeglasses. I really like them. I
- 24:59Speaker 1: think blue light losses for everybody is pretty practical because
- 25:02Speaker 1: I'm assuming a lot of people do work on a
- 25:04Speaker 1: computer or work on their phones. Some of you may
- 25:08Speaker 1: actually need a prescription. Like my sister, she has a prescription,
- 25:11Speaker 1: so she gets the prescription in those glasses so she
- 25:15Speaker 1: can wear them. Just because it's such a cute style
- 25:18Speaker 1: on but really really love this. I think it's a
- 25:21Speaker 1: cute fashion piece but also very practical for someone who
- 25:25Speaker 1: works at an office and just like needs blue leg glasses,
- 25:27Speaker 1: and it just looks very again, very effortless, very cute,
- 25:31Speaker 1: and I just really love the overall style. Another thing
- 25:34Speaker 1: that I feel like I constantly love during the fall
- 25:36Speaker 1: season is slippers. I feel like I don't really wear
- 25:39Speaker 1: my slippers during the summer. I don't know why, but
- 25:42Speaker 1: soon as cozy season starts, I'm putting the slippers back on.
- 25:45Speaker 1: I'm getting comfortable in the house, I'm feeling cozy. The
- 25:48Speaker 1: slippers that I have, I think are from I want
- 25:51Speaker 1: to say our Den, maybe I love our Den. Our
- 25:53Speaker 1: Den is actually a really good place to find really
- 25:56Speaker 1: cute fall pieces if you're someone that's like more on
- 25:58Speaker 1: a budget. You need to check out our den. I'm
- 26:00Speaker 1: telling you right now, it's so so good. But a
- 26:03Speaker 1: good pair of cozy slippers just hits different in the fall. Obviously,
- 26:07Speaker 1: the brand UG has a lot of amazing slippers and
- 26:10Speaker 1: amazing quality as well, but yeah, slippers in the fall,
- 26:14Speaker 1: I just feel like hit different. Obviously, everybody needs to
- 26:17Speaker 1: be wearing a chunky knit sweater for the fall season.
- 26:20Speaker 1: I don't think this will ever go out of style.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Feel like every single year I'm gravitating towards the sweaters
- 26:26Speaker 1: that I've bought in years and years and years ago.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I feel like I still have a lot of pieces
- 26:30Speaker 1: from Aritzia that I bought in high school that I
- 26:33Speaker 1: still wear to this day that are just, you know,
- 26:35Speaker 1: really good chunky knit pieces. And that's why I feel
- 26:37Speaker 1: like it's worth paying the price for some of these
- 26:40Speaker 1: knit sweaters because I just think it's something that's never
- 26:43Speaker 1: going to go out of style. I do love these colors,
- 26:47Speaker 1: I would say for fall, when it comes to a
- 26:49Speaker 1: knit sweater, like a dark beige, a gray, a navy,
- 26:53Speaker 1: or like a burgundy, I feel like those are the
- 26:54Speaker 1: colors that I always try and stick to when I'm
- 26:57Speaker 1: obviously black or cream. I think that's also another basic
- 27:02Speaker 1: color that I feel like everybody needs. But it's a good,
- 27:05Speaker 1: you know, transitional piece going into the fall season, you
- 27:08Speaker 1: obviously always want to try and stick within a color
- 27:11Speaker 1: palette that's not too out there, you know what I mean. Like,
- 27:14Speaker 1: sticking with the basics like black, cream and beige is
- 27:18Speaker 1: obviously the best way to go. And gray, I love gray.
- 27:20Speaker 1: I feel like I wear gray so much because I
- 27:23Speaker 1: don't know, I just love the color gray. But yeah,
- 27:25Speaker 1: a chunky KNT sweater, I don't think we'll ever go
- 27:27Speaker 1: out of style, and I think it's always a must
- 27:29Speaker 1: for the fall season and just a fall trend that
- 27:32Speaker 1: I don't think will ever go away. Another trend I
- 27:35Speaker 1: love is pops of burgundy, So like ballet flats or
- 27:39Speaker 1: handbags or even accessories like sunglasses or headscarfs or whatever
- 27:44Speaker 1: the case may be, a burgundy red or a cherry
- 27:47Speaker 1: red with like a dark denim or like a white top.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Just the pops of red I think looks so cute
- 27:53Speaker 1: for the fall. And yeah, I just love cherry red.
- 27:57Speaker 1: I think it's just such a beautiful color and I
- 27:59Speaker 1: do think it's very flattering with a lot of fall outfits.
- 28:02Speaker 1: And then the last fashion item that I would say
- 28:05Speaker 1: is trending right now that I love is brown sneakers.
- 28:08Speaker 1: So the brand like Adidas or New Balance, they have
- 28:11Speaker 1: so many cute different styles of brown sneakers, Like there's
- 28:15Speaker 1: the brown Sambas, there's the New Balance sneakers. I think
- 28:19Speaker 1: they have a new dupe to a designer sneaker called
- 28:23Speaker 1: the Mewmu sneakers. It's like this dark brown sneaker. But
- 28:28Speaker 1: New Balance is now selling a pair that is very,
- 28:31Speaker 1: very similar to the Memu ones. I actually think it
- 28:34Speaker 1: was a New Balance and Mumu collab and basically what
- 28:37Speaker 1: they're doing is that they're taking the Meu Meu out
- 28:39Speaker 1: of it and just doing it as New Balance, and
- 28:42Speaker 1: it's way more affordable and it's very very cute. They
- 28:45Speaker 1: have like different colored laces that you can pair with
- 28:48Speaker 1: the sneakers, and it's just a very fun fall shoe
- 28:51Speaker 1: to own. So that's something that I think is very
- 28:54Speaker 1: cute for the fall season. So those would be like
- 28:56Speaker 1: the fall trends that I would say I'm currently upset
- 29:00Speaker 1: with when it comes to like fashion, are just things
- 29:02Speaker 1: that are going on, like nail colors, as I said,
- 29:05Speaker 1: and then you know, trying out different coffees all that.
- 29:09Speaker 1: When it comes to like an autumn bucket list, I
- 29:11Speaker 1: didn't think I would do an episode this year, just
- 29:13Speaker 1: because I feel like it's been pretty repetitive with the
- 29:16Speaker 1: same type of things. But things that I really love
- 29:19Speaker 1: to do that I feel like is something that everyone
- 29:21Speaker 1: should do for the fall season is creating a fall
- 29:23Speaker 1: playlist on Spotify, so finding songs that you think reflect
- 29:27Speaker 1: the season. I tend to lean towards like a lot
- 29:29Speaker 1: of country songs I find during the fall season, so
- 29:33Speaker 1: creating a little cozy fall playlist is really fun to do. Obviously,
- 29:37Speaker 1: I also love making comfort meals or baking. So comfort
- 29:41Speaker 1: meals to me are like making homemade tomato soup or
- 29:44Speaker 1: chicken noodle soup. I also love baking, so baking things
- 29:49Speaker 1: like you know, an apple pie, banana bread, pumpkin bread,
- 29:54Speaker 1: like pumpkin spice cookies. I actually made that the other
- 29:57Speaker 1: night with my sister and my girlfriend. We made these
- 29:59Speaker 1: pumpkin spice cooies which were incredible. It was so so good.
- 30:03Speaker 1: So just kind of like finding things that you know
- 30:07Speaker 1: taste like fall or just like a little thing to
- 30:09Speaker 1: do like baking or cooking just makes I don't know,
- 30:12Speaker 1: the fall more enjoyable as well. Another thing that I've
- 30:15Speaker 1: actually been wanting to attempt myself is making a chai
- 30:19Speaker 1: latte from home. I've gotten a few chai lattes from
- 30:22Speaker 1: like Starbucks and other coffee shops, but I've never actually
- 30:25Speaker 1: made it at the house. So maybe that's something that
- 30:27Speaker 1: I can attempt doing. I don't know if it's hard
- 30:29Speaker 1: or not, so don't hold me accountable for that, but
- 30:32Speaker 1: I will investigate and see if it's worth doing. But
- 30:35Speaker 1: I do love a good chi se latte. And then
- 30:37Speaker 1: obviously we're in the fall season, which means also football season,
- 30:41Speaker 1: so I feel like every Sunday, Zach's been having the
- 30:44Speaker 1: football games on in the house, and you know, we're
- 30:47Speaker 1: whipping out the crock pot, We're making crock pot dinners,
- 30:50Speaker 1: like doing just a lot of kind of like football
- 30:53Speaker 1: foods as well. So it definitely feels very cozy doing
- 30:57Speaker 1: that as well. But that's kind of been my September
- 31:01Speaker 1: in a nutshell. When it comes to things I've been
- 31:03Speaker 1: trying or trends that I've been loving. I've been doing
- 31:06Speaker 1: a lot of shopping obviously, because I feel like going
- 31:08Speaker 1: into new season. I always want to like not like
- 31:11Speaker 1: rebrand myself, but in a way kind of like revamp
- 31:14Speaker 1: my entire wardrobe and just kind of feel like a
- 31:18Speaker 1: new version of myself going into a new season. I
- 31:21Speaker 1: don't know, I think it's fun to do. I do
- 31:22Speaker 1: really enjoy it. I feel like everybody could use a
- 31:25Speaker 1: little bit of a confidence boost. It just always feels
- 31:27Speaker 1: good doing those little things that make you feel kind
- 31:29Speaker 1: of new again. So whether it's buying a few new
- 31:33Speaker 1: pieces for yourself for the fall season, or you know,
- 31:36Speaker 1: redoing your entire routine. So in the last episode, we
- 31:39Speaker 1: talked about creating a morning and night routine, so maybe
- 31:41Speaker 1: it's about evaluating your routine and making you feel, you know, new.
- 31:45Speaker 1: So for me, I've created a slower routine for myself
- 31:48Speaker 1: and just kind of unwinding, you know, at the night time.
- 31:51Speaker 1: So it's kind of nice just to kind of like
- 31:53Speaker 1: change things up a bit and not feel like you've
- 31:55Speaker 1: been doing the same thing over and over again. You know,
- 31:58Speaker 1: making a fall bucket list is always because it allows
- 32:01Speaker 1: you to have these things look forward to. It makes
- 32:03Speaker 1: things exciting, and honestly, I think people just need a
- 32:06Speaker 1: bit of a change when they go into a new season,
- 32:08Speaker 1: I think things just kind of feel a bit repetitive
- 32:10Speaker 1: and sometimes you just need a little bit of a
- 32:13Speaker 1: revamp when it comes to anything, as I said, clothing, routines,
- 32:17Speaker 1: whatever the case may be. So I definitely think just
- 32:18Speaker 1: doing a little revamp or rebrand for a new season
- 32:21Speaker 1: is always needed, and I think it allows you to
- 32:23Speaker 1: stay consistent and it allows you to look forward to
- 32:26Speaker 1: your weekends or days when you have fun things planned.
