- 0:05SPEAKER_00: Welcome to Aesthetics Unscripted.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: I'm your host, Kim, and I'm welcoming today Dr.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: Michael J.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: Hall from Miami and his beautiful Hall Longevity Clinic.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: So you're the founder of Hall Longevity Clinic and you're on Miami Beach, correct, Dr.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: Hall?
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: Yes, Kim.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: Excellent.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: Well, I don't want to steal your thunder.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: I say this with every guest.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: I would love to have you introduce yourself to the viewers because I want you to be able to let everything that you do shine.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: I guess I'll start out from the highest level, which is I've been in um medicine now for almost 40 years.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: My mission has always been to be a healer, and I have to say that from a very early age.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: I wanted to be an astronaut doctor, but my eyesight is not that good, so I ended up just being a doctor.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: But I've been told nice guy wrong planet.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's fantastic.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: Well, we're happy to have you on this planet.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: Well, I but I've uh I started out uh in ophthalmology in New York, and I I was uh in New York for seven years between 95 and 2001.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: And then I went on another journey and ended up uh going around the world and spent a lot of time with indigenous peoples.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: And I started out in New Zealand with the Maori and ended up in Hawaii and I ended up in Montana with the Native American Haber tribe, uh, the Cree Indians.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: I've been a seeker of knowledge and information, and my journey of healing and understanding uh the human condition has always been sort of the motivator.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: And the clinic in Miami is really an incubator of what I believe will be the future of medicine, which is a new ecosystem based on proactive health care rather than disease care, using total quality management instead of no management and no quality, and making health care for value for money.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: I want to be the leader of this.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: This is my goal is to bring people to the table uh from all dimensions, government, bureaucrats, you know, whatever it is that needs to get this done.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: I want to I want to make healthcare something that that is uh smart and uh and practical.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: And we definitely need a champion like you here in the States.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: I think your worldwide adventure and your um boundless need and want for uh education and learning about all these different ways to treat the human body and the spirit, I'm sure, was part of that journey.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: Uh that's that's amazing and music to my ears because this is all about um my philosophy and things that I believe in.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: I'm obsessed with the blue zones and the Native American lifestyle also, and everything that goes back to more ancient history proves and shows us that uh something that I like to say is we need to take a step back to be able to take a big leap forward.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: We forget too much about what we already knew, and we're just becoming so treat and street, and as you pointed out, addressing the the issue that comes from the cause, right?
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: So uh your approach to all around medicine to find out why is why are you sick or why are you not living the life that you need, and then let's address everything from the cause all the way up to the effect and how you can continue on afterwards.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: That's more we need more of you across the world, and we definitely need leaders to get that message out and affordable healthcare, what is that?
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: So to bring all this forward here in the States, it's just of utmost importance that I commend you on all of it.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: Well, you know, as a American and uh you know, I would say proud American, uh, we've all come from somewhere to be something.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: And we have the capability of doing so much more than what we've done.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: And I want to take the system and just completely deconstruct and reconstruct.
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: And we can create a parallel system inside the system, in my opinion.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: There are nine different healthcare systems that function in America, none of them speak to one another, and they're completely inefficient, and in my opinion, ineffective.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: This is a major issue, absolutely.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: It's the issue we have a what it's close to five trillion dollars in in healthcare spending, and probably seven to eighty percent is wasted just wasted, you know.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: And regardless of what the costs are and and the moonshot that we're talking about, I think that starts with a grassroots effort.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: I think people are ready for this message, and it's not political.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: Um, it's not about you know which side of the coin you live on, it's not about you know being um any particular group.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: It's just about being human.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: It transcends politics, and this is not about race, politics, uh religion.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: This is about basic health care and then advanced health care and being able to take care of yourself properly and be taken care of.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: I believe that through my research and what I've developed over many years, many decades actually, uh, I've tried to take the best of what I've found around the world and distill it into something that makes sense.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: And I and I believe that with the technology we have now, with AI, uh and our capacity to develop sort of a different thinking toward longevity and aging and the capacity to just live a healthier life and have health span versus lifespan.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: I think we're we're on the cusp of something really monumental.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: So um I know you have a new book out, and it's called Infinite Youth Solving the Aging Equation.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: What was your motivation behind writing this book and what is it about?
- 6:27SPEAKER_01: You know, I have been asked for the last 15 or 20 years about what I do.
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: And before longevity became a very popular phrase or term, I had explained it as being able to look at a person and understand sort of their weaknesses and strengths and create a SWOT analysis based on that, which is SWOT strength, weaknesses, opportunity, and threat.
- 6:59SPEAKER_01: And I've done that internally in my practice, but without the technology, without the capacity to really do that in a 360-degree model.
- 7:09SPEAKER_01: And essentially, the book is a compilation of what I believe is a primer to understand longevity, but also to understand it from a very high level, meaning that it's so much of our lifestyle, so much of what we do we don't understand that the basics really need to be met first.
- 7:30SPEAKER_01: Sleep, movement, community, nutrition, all of these things need to be really dialed in before the peptides, the supplements, and the sonica.
- 7:42SPEAKER_01: And so many people look at aging in a very kind of asked backward way.
- 7:46SPEAKER_01: I created a funnel model, which is a mathematical uh construct, which is pretty simple.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: And the funnel, yeah, the inputs go in, and the base of the funnel is the constriction where the aging entropy occurs.
- 7:59SPEAKER_01: And how do you keep that funnel wide over the longest period of time in your life?
- 8:03SPEAKER_01: Is sort of the key.
- 8:05SPEAKER_01: So those are the things that are lifestyle related.
- 8:07SPEAKER_01: When you start to narrow the funnel as you get older, and you start thinking about well, what do I want to do?
- 8:13SPEAKER_01: Uh do I do hormone replacement?
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: Do I do the peptides or do I you know do the MAD?
- 8:19SPEAKER_01: That doesn't really keep the funnel very wide.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: That's just a it's it's a small um relationship to this dynamic, and it doesn't have the real gravitas to keep people healthy, you know, in my opinion, in the long term.
- 8:36SPEAKER_01: And that's really what we would try to parse out is there's so much going on with longevity, right?
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: And we hear about it from all the podcasters and the talking heads, but but are we really getting people to live healthier way and like you say, going back to the blue zones, taking some of what we know that goes back you know, eons, and eating local, eating as a community, you know, sourcing the freshest food.
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: Those are just basic things that that people just don't do anymore.
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: We've we've lost sort of like that momentum.
- 9:09SPEAKER_01: And going back to the funnel, the more you do to maintain your sleep hygiene and to keep active and do your Pilates and take your you know your steps and all that, super important, but it has to be done consistently and it has to be done with sort of uh intent.
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: It must drive you crazy because we have such a society here where the mentality, and it comes from brilliant advertising and marketing constantly being bombarded into our brains, generation after generation, that's fast, fast, fast, fast.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: We're America, we're fast, we're efficient, we're fast, you can get everything, fast food, fast workouts, fast whatever, fast medical.
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: But none of it works.
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: But the thing that makes me laugh, and I'm sure you're going to appreciate this, is that um, and I challenge any of our viewers, if you go to say any of your big box like Costco, you're going to be there, let's say you can only shop on a weekend.
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: Uh you're going to be there for three to four hours between your shopping and waiting online, and much less trying to park and get out of the parking lot.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: So, in that same three to four hours, if you take a more European or Asian lifestyle, technically healthier countries as a whole, and you do more local shopping, um, you know, not with plastic bags, with your forever bag, and you walk there and walk back and you buy smaller amounts of food, maybe you do that twice a week.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: It takes less time.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: And your food, your meal prep actually takes less time than it takes to unwrap one of those plastic fast meals or go to a fast food restaurant.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: So you're eating healthier, you're shopping healthier, now you're moving, you're socializing, and it's taking less time than one trip to Costco per week with less stress, and you're actually enjoying your life now.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: So, this is what to me what longevity is really all about.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: And as you said, you have to tap into those core elements.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: So, this fast, fast, fast everything must drive you crazy.
- 10:58SPEAKER_01: America has over-emphasized this sort of instant first in, first out, whatever you want to call it, this mechanized Cisco US foods, nothing from the farm.
- 11:11SPEAKER_01: It comes from some Chinese owned entity like Smithfield with the pork, you know, in the middle of America.
- 11:19SPEAKER_01: It's not even America now.
- 11:21SPEAKER_01: This is what's happened.
- 11:22SPEAKER_01: I don't know if we can go back.
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: It may take something catastrophic to bring us to that point.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: Hopefully, we will go back to eating a different way, but I think the food is killing us.
- 11:35SPEAKER_01: I think the water and the food, it's the water because it's so toxic, it's full of chemicals, it's not treated correctly, and you have the food, which is the same thing.
- 11:43SPEAKER_01: It's full of glyphosate, it's full of pesticides, or besides the meat, antibiotics, hormones, everything is wrong.
- 11:50SPEAKER_01: It's killing us, right?
- 11:53SPEAKER_01: But what are we going to do about it?
- 11:55SPEAKER_01: I think the first step is identifying the problem, the second step is them making a plan, the third step is actionable, executable things to do, to put into people's heads.
- 12:06SPEAKER_01: That's what the book's about, that's what I'm about.
- 12:08SPEAKER_00: Nice.
- 12:08SPEAKER_00: So it's a real education that is easy to digest.
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: Sorry about the pine, for a viewer to be able to read and really understand what longevity means.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: Because I agree with you through fast, you know, especially social media trends and influencers that are not medically trained and have no expertise, they just jumps from anti-aging, the the the words literally anti-aging, wellness, longevity.
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: Oh, longevity is a new buzzword.
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: Let me talk about longevity, let me chat JPC something that I have no idea what I'm talking about and just read it off the monitor.
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, wow, this is not what the general population needs to be able to learn how to live your best life.
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: Well, you know, I think what's happened is that people are now looking for alternatives.
- 12:54SPEAKER_01: COVID brought a transition of thought into people's minds I better take better care of myself because I saw what was happening if I didn't.
- 13:04SPEAKER_01: You know, my loved one got sick and died.
- 13:07SPEAKER_01: I know people that have died, I almost died in COVID.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: Oh, sorry to hear that.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 13:11SPEAKER_01: I mean, I was very sick, very sick, and I'm super healthy, and I literally have never experienced anything like that in my life.
- 13:19SPEAKER_01: I sympathize with anyone in swimming.
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: It was like being suffocated for them.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: So that must just enhance your ability to understand these diseases and be able to help others.
- 13:29SPEAKER_01: 100%.
- 13:30unknown: Yeah.
- 13:31SPEAKER_01: And it it was shocking to me that, and I was in I was really beyond where I was with my health because I was swimming up until the day I got sick, and I was very fit.
- 13:43SPEAKER_01: And if I wasn't so fit, I don't know if I would have made it.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: I understand, yes.
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: So so my heart was in good shape and I was able to come out of it, but I was I was sadding very, very poorly, like in the 80s, and I have never had any problem like that in my life, you know, no, no issues.
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: So, you know, that that was a pivot for me, you know, and I've become, you know, you know my history, I'm very outspoken.
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: You know, I sued Anthony Fauci and the government of Miami Day when they were spraying as a poison, they did, which was an organophosphate neurotoxin.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: Which was a horrible idea, exactly.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: And we needed, again, we need champions such as yourself to understand it and to step up.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: It was insanity.
- 14:27SPEAKER_01: So, you know, I guess, you know, I mean, getting back to the original topic, you know, when people are ready to hear a message, it will resonate.
- 14:38SPEAKER_01: I think they're ready to hear the message.
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: And my goal is to be the messenger, take the slings and arrows, which I love, by the way.
- 14:49SPEAKER_01: Send them my way.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: Oh I have to ask you, because I know how I feel about it, but I can't wait to hear your take on this.
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: What do you think about Gates' fake all the fake food?
- 15:01SPEAKER_01: There's no way I'm gonna eat fake meat or fake anything.
- 15:06SPEAKER_01: Now, there's some people that will say, well, that's great.
- 15:08SPEAKER_01: Israel makes great fake meat.
- 15:10SPEAKER_01: I want a flame from Israel because they pioneered this, right?
- 15:13SPEAKER_01: Or whatever it is.
- 15:15SPEAKER_01: Eat it! Be my guest, but I'm not.
- 15:19SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I'm the same.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I'm definitely 100% against it.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: I'm there's gotta be a better way, as you pointed out.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: Fake meat, just how can this be a good idea?
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: And now it's evolving to all food stuffs that are being produced under RD as we speak.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: I'm just shocked, amazed, and disgusted, quite frankly.
- 15:40SPEAKER_01: I don't know if there's enough pushback.
- 15:44SPEAKER_01: That's why you know people are gonna have to be their own health advocate.
- 15:49SPEAKER_01: You can't do this any other way.
- 15:52SPEAKER_01: You know, if you're not using a Berkey water filter and you're drinking tap water, you're you're in trouble.
- 15:57SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 15:58SPEAKER_01: I mean, if you're not really sourcing healthy food, you're in trouble.
- 16:04SPEAKER_01: If you're not shutting off your phone and creating good sleep hygiene, you're in trouble.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: If you're not getting up in the morning and reducing your cortisol by going to the sunlight, you're in trouble.
- 16:14SPEAKER_01: You're in trouble, people.
- 16:16SPEAKER_01: You understand they're killing you slowly, and nobody's coming to save you except you, right?
- 16:25SPEAKER_01: So this is you know, I mean, obviously, we're getting into some heavy, heavy thought here, but um, this is the truth.
- 16:32SPEAKER_01: You know, the World Economic Forum and the policymakers and Davos, and I've been there.
- 16:38SPEAKER_01: I've been the Aspen Institute, I've been right right up close to these people.
- 16:42SPEAKER_01: Donna Shalela, Fauci.
- 16:45SPEAKER_01: I mean, I spoke to Fauci directly about what happened with Zika, and he told me exactly it was done uh for optics.
- 16:54SPEAKER_01: It was done for optics.
- 16:56SPEAKER_01: To my face with coffee at eight in the morning.
- 17:00SPEAKER_01: I'm telling you right now, that's what motivates me.
- 17:03SPEAKER_01: That's what gets me up in the morning.
- 17:04SPEAKER_01: That's my mission, is to bring about awareness that people then say, hey, wait, what's happening?
- 17:12SPEAKER_01: I can't I can't eat this sort of garbage anymore.
- 17:14SPEAKER_01: It's not good for me.
- 17:15SPEAKER_01: Okay, what do I do?
- 17:17SPEAKER_01: Well, I'll listen to what Dr.
- 17:19SPEAKER_01: Hall has to say.
- 17:20SPEAKER_01: Maybe, maybe that's something more important that I do for myself and my family than to you know look at the latest podcaster and and jump on board with uh whatever the latest supplement you know stack is or whatever you're gonna do, you know, to buy uh into the marketing.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: Exactly, because we both know, and you more so than I do, that longevity and health and wellness and beauty, it all goes together and there's no quick fix.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: It's not something that you could just find an uneducated influencer and jump on a trend and be like, ooh, magic wand, suddenly everything is healed and beautiful, and I look 10 years younger and I feel great too.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: Like that's not reality.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: And I completely agree with you that the patients and the general, all our viewers, please, you need to self-educate all the time, but be aware of where you're getting your education from.
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: So I was always taught to listen to everyone, but be aware and throw out everything that doesn't work, everything that doesn't resonate needs to be further researched.
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: So then you can make educated decisions.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: And I think the key word is educated.
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: Make an educated decision viewers for yourself.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: Because if you're not proactive about taking care of yourself, who else is going to be, right, Dr.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: Hall?
- 18:39SPEAKER_01: You said it from everything that I've heard from you.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: You know, we're very much in the same wavelength.
- 18:45SPEAKER_01: And I I think this is a revolution.
- 18:48SPEAKER_01: This is a revolution, it really is.
- 18:50SPEAKER_01: I think people are waking up.
- 18:53SPEAKER_01: Not everyone, but but a good percent of people, I think across the globe are understanding this, you know, and I think that we know as healthcare providers and educators, we have a duty to share this with others, right?
- 19:12SPEAKER_01: This is sort of the gospel.
- 19:14SPEAKER_01: This is the gospel.
- 19:16SPEAKER_01: This is this is the health and and wellness component of what we do that needs, like you said, needs to go back to a tried and true understanding of what common sense is.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: Because we're out outside the common sense arena, we're in we're in cray cray land.
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: It's a fact, unfortunately, and it is true.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: But I still like you, um, I hope we're not being naive, but I have great hope for the future and the future generations and the health and well-being of the planet, along with us ourselves.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: So I'm very thankful for champions such as yourself that you have such a passion for your self-education, but you pay that forward and you're you're seeking every single way you can give that back.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: And to me, that's very rare, especially right now where we sit in history, because I think a lot of educated people are afraid to speak up.
- 20:05SPEAKER_00: And um, that makes me very sad.
- 20:08SPEAKER_01: I'm a big believer in being positive and optimistic.
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: I mean, I do get down and negative, and I see the errors in that.
- 20:19SPEAKER_01: So it's like we all have our own mirror that we must hold up, right?
- 20:23SPEAKER_01: Um, but if you're trying to understand what you can do better, right, and you're not being held back from that, I think that the natural inclination for man is to move forward.
- 20:36SPEAKER_01: Now, um we're people holding us back, you know, the Liliputian holding back, you know, our ability to develop and and become better.
- 20:52SPEAKER_01: I I think that we have to cut free of that, and the understanding of what our ability is to live in love or fear is very important right now.
- 21:05SPEAKER_01: Those are frequencies.
- 21:07SPEAKER_01: Love or fear is a frequency, and people act out of fear with hate.
- 21:13SPEAKER_01: The more you stay in the love frequency, the more you are able to accomplish.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: Absolutely, and positive energy.
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: I think um a lot of us we become impassioned or you know, because we're so angry or we're so agitated over something, and we forget.
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: I think it's easy to forget.
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: You can get in this negative cycle.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: Negativity, hatred, anger, all of the negative emotions take so much more physical energy than just allowing yourself to be happy or confident or even indifferent.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: Like negativity just literally sucks the life out of you.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: So if you're a viewer and you're really interested in going on a longevity journey for yourself and hitting the reset button, um, as Dr.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: Hall's been pointing out.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: This whole time, you need to be as self-aware as possible.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: And what other tips would you give?
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: So, Dr.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: Paul, let's let's um let me play devil's advocate.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: So I'm a listener right now, I'm a viewer, and I'm agreeing with everything you say, but maybe I'm low income.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, oh my God, I don't have that farmer's stance.
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: I can't go farming a table.
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: I can't afford all of these organic um food sources.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: I can't eat 100% organic, and I have to work myself to death.
- 22:33SPEAKER_00: I don't have time for having this like amazing, beautiful, healthy like California lifestyle.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: So, what are your top tips for that person?
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: Because we'll all benefit from what you're about to say.
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: Well, I don't, you know, regardless of what income bracket you inhabit, and I take care of some billionaires, that doesn't mean that you're living a healthy lifestyle.
- 22:58SPEAKER_01: Okay, sometimes it's completely the opposite.
- 23:01SPEAKER_01: And some of the poorest people I've seen on the planet live the healthiest.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: The Veda tribe in Sri Lanka, when I was there, are subsistence-living people.
- 23:12SPEAKER_01: They're the oldest people on the planet.
- 23:14SPEAKER_01: And I met them hand to hand, face to face.
- 23:18SPEAKER_01: And they they live off of just the bare basics of what they can grow, what they can fish.
- 23:25SPEAKER_01: And I've never seen healthier, more beautiful people.
- 23:29SPEAKER_01: So, regardless of where you're at, it's a mindset.
- 23:34SPEAKER_01: It's all about your mind.
- 23:36SPEAKER_01: And you can create a healthy environment with almost nothing.
- 23:44SPEAKER_01: In fact, the things that are most important, as I did mention, you know, there's there's really four or five key points.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: And I and I've been with the top researchers in the world.
- 23:54SPEAKER_01: I go to a conference in Monte Carlo, and they would have the best French and German and Korean and Japanese, longevity specialists, scientists, researchers come and speak.
- 24:07SPEAKER_01: I've been going to that conference now off and on for almost 15 years.
- 24:11SPEAKER_01: The last time I went was a year ago, and I almost fell in my chair because I didn't learn anything.
- 24:19SPEAKER_01: What was being said was it's lifestyle.
- 24:23SPEAKER_01: All the things we talk about, the the special pills that David Sinclair is creating, or the special sauce that's in a lab somewhere in Timbuktu that's going to reverse aging, that doesn't exist.
- 24:39SPEAKER_01: It's not existing at this moment in time.
- 24:43SPEAKER_01: What matters is absolutely being vigilant and incredibly careful about how you live your life.
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: And if you look at the blue zones, you look at the Sardinians and the Okinawaans and Momo Linda folks, which are the Seventh-day Adventists, it's about community.
- 25:03SPEAKER_01: It's about that connection, first and foremost.
- 25:06SPEAKER_01: Not eating alone, but eating with others.
- 25:09SPEAKER_01: Consuming food that's grown locally, that's that's nutritious.
- 25:14SPEAKER_01: You can be very poor and live inner city and have a garden.
- 25:17SPEAKER_01: There are plenty of them in New York City.
- 25:19SPEAKER_01: In fact, they're probably the best food that you can have in New York City.
- 25:24SPEAKER_01: So the sleep, your sleep is where you regenerate, that's where you heal, that's where your body goes into a state of convalescence.
- 25:37SPEAKER_01: If you're not sleeping, because of whatever reason, because you're listening to the news, you've got the iPad plugged to your head, this is a problem.
- 25:46SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 25:47SPEAKER_01: If you're not getting out of bed and moving every day and spending some time walking around the block or going to the garden, you know, headed to the park doing a little exercise, there's a problem.
- 25:59SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 26:00SPEAKER_01: If you're allowing yourself not to get on a scale because you're afraid of what you might see, that's a problem.
- 26:05SPEAKER_01: Obesity is an epidemic in this country.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: That's the number one reason why you age.
- 26:10SPEAKER_01: Your end organ reserve is being consumed by that extra weight.
- 26:13SPEAKER_01: Your heart is pumping much harder to move that blood through that fat.
- 26:17SPEAKER_01: There's no reason for that.
- 26:19SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 26:20SPEAKER_01: That's what we're talking about.
- 26:21SPEAKER_01: There's nothing magical about that.
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: There's not a pep for any of any of these things we talk about.
- 26:27SPEAKER_01: Yes, everybody wants to be on a GLP1 because they can't control what they're eating.
- 26:31SPEAKER_01: So their discipline doesn't exist.
- 26:35SPEAKER_01: But the injector does.
- 26:37SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: And people need to understand that when they get off, if they're not being monitored during GLP 1, because I'm not a fan at all of these super fast scripts where you just fill out three questions online and then you get your medications and they put you on a super high dose really fast, and you're not monitored, and then you wonder why all your skin is hanging off and you lost weight and your hair is falling out.
- 26:57SPEAKER_00: You know, I mean, to me, it's just like if you stop and think and read about it for two seconds, you'll understand that high dosing that's not medically supervised is obviously really bad things.
- 27:08SPEAKER_00: So again, a quick fix that it's just it's not there is a good way to use these drugs, there's a bad way to use these drugs, and we're seeing a lot of the bad.
- 27:17SPEAKER_01: Okay, it's a scientific development, but it doesn't supersede common sense and discipline.
- 27:25SPEAKER_01: And yes, there's side effects.
- 27:27SPEAKER_01: There are side effects with all these drugs, and and people think that they're gonna eat their pizza and have their uh dessert while they're it's it's absolutely incredible how you know corrupted people's minds have become.
- 27:44SPEAKER_00: I think it's a pandemic of self-medicating now, from peptides to GLP1s, and um I've said this so many times on other podcast sessions that we are sitting in a society globally where we will quite often research to death and budget for up to a year for a luxury item like a handbag, or many years in a row for a car.
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: But when it comes to our bodies, we're like, oh, I'll just go to anybody for a peptide.
- 28:14SPEAKER_00: I'll buy it out of uh my local gym or out of the backseat of somebody's car.
- 28:18SPEAKER_00: I'll just get GOP ones and never be medically monitored while I'm doing it.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: I mean, how does this make sense?
- 28:25SPEAKER_00: Everyone I think needs to be much more self-respecting of your own hum your body so you can actually live longer.
- 28:33SPEAKER_00: And I find that um from experts such as yourself, the best advice in the beginning, especially uh if you didn't have a budget or people to go source everything for you, is to use your common sense, as you said, and to scale back on the things we already know are unhealthy for us.
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: So you can steer clear to fried foods, you cut back on your sugar, cut back on your salt and take.
- 28:56SPEAKER_00: And I find that like when I went through, I did a 14-day self-imposed sugar reset years ago because I was such a sugar girl.
- 29:04SPEAKER_00: I was never a salt girl, and I could easily eat dessert before dinner.
- 29:09SPEAKER_00: But I took 14 days and I just cut out all refined sugar.
- 29:12SPEAKER_00: And my natural love and my gravitation towards fruits and vegetables just went off the charts.
- 29:21SPEAKER_00: And I could, to this day, all these years later, I can stand in the middle of the most decadent bakeries.
- 29:26SPEAKER_00: And if I buy something, it's because I want to, not because I'm craving it.
- 29:30SPEAKER_00: It's like mentally, I'm like, oh, I, you know, I love cannolis and that looks fantastic, or whatever it is I'm looking at, but that might be once a year.
- 29:38SPEAKER_00: It might be twice a year, but it's not a daily thing.
- 29:41SPEAKER_00: It used to be a daily thing for me.
- 29:44SPEAKER_00: And I don't think the average viewer understands how easy it is to do a self-reset.
- 29:49SPEAKER_00: If you do things slowly, you do them one at a time.
- 29:53SPEAKER_00: And you do things like, you know, like infinite youth solving your aging equation, your book.
- 29:58SPEAKER_00: There are ways you could reach out for your own self-education that are affordable, they're accessible, and you could learn how to do things one step at a time to change your life for the better.
- 30:07SPEAKER_00: And it's easy.
- 30:08SPEAKER_00: It becomes saying no becomes easy.
- 30:11SPEAKER_00: You're like, no, I don't want to smoke that cigarette.
- 30:13SPEAKER_00: No, I'm not gonna have that extra fifth drink or whatever.
- 30:16SPEAKER_00: No, I'm not gonna have you know that that fast food loaded with salt.
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: Um, I'm gonna go home and cook a five-minute meal for myself.
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: That know becomes so easy and so much more gratifying.
- 30:27SPEAKER_01: I think it's one of those things where we just again, discipline, common sense, um trying to self-educate.
- 30:35SPEAKER_01: Those are the key concepts.
- 30:37SPEAKER_01: And right now we have all this information that's uh available to us through YouTube and all those other avenues that I I love, you know, that we're always learning.
- 30:47SPEAKER_01: You know, it's like a constant school.
- 30:49SPEAKER_01: You know, you're you're in an A B lab of of information, you know, and if you want to learn, you can, and and why not?
- 30:57SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 30:58SPEAKER_01: I mean, nobody has a hundred percent of all the information.
- 31:03SPEAKER_01: You know, I mean we're we're all we all have sort of this prism of of knowledge that we kind of see the world through.
- 31:12SPEAKER_01: And uh at this point in time you know, we we reach a kind of a a level of okay, we can we can do things, we know that this works, we know that this can help.
- 31:24SPEAKER_01: So we we have that sort of research and understanding, especially in this field.
- 31:29SPEAKER_01: And longevity is is is something people want now.
- 31:32SPEAKER_01: I know and I have a grandmother that lived 104.
- 31:35SPEAKER_01: Um, she passed out of COVID, and and I and I really appreciated, you know, she was a very much a health conscious woman before it was Vogue, before it became something that people talked about.
- 31:48SPEAKER_01: And and I picked up on that.
- 31:50SPEAKER_01: And I think um there's always people we can learn from.
- 31:55SPEAKER_01: And I want to be somebody that can help teach others, so you know that's the whole thing.
- 31:59SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: And your longevity clinic, I've noticed, is unique because you offer all three avenues.
- 32:05SPEAKER_00: So you're doing aesthetics, of course, but um your wellness longevity, uh, you have that division, but you also have your general medicine, your medical division as well.
- 32:16SPEAKER_00: And that's where I think it's the three-prone effect that is uh very unique because it seems like longevity is usually maybe some nutrition and a lot of aesthetics, and we're forgetting the medical, or it's a little bit uh where it's medical and a little bit of one or the other, but to see all three in one clinic is definitely unique.
- 32:39SPEAKER_01: Well, I you know, I I've always thought that you have to have again this sort of constant cycle of of interaction between the different areas of these disciplines, and and people always have skin conditions, especially living in the tropics in Florida.
- 33:00SPEAKER_01: It's not just about beauty, it's also about maintaining uh healthy skin with the sun.
- 33:06SPEAKER_01: UV radiation here is quite intense.
- 33:09SPEAKER_01: So that that's a big part of what we do is is uh developing relationships with people that can cycle through these different areas, and people have coughs and cold, and they come and see us just as much as they might come for their hormone replacement or their their laser treatment, you know.
- 33:27SPEAKER_01: And I love all of that, and I'm I'm able to do all of that.
- 33:30SPEAKER_01: I'm very blessed to be able to be skilled enough and trained enough to be able to do all those things well.
- 33:36SPEAKER_00: Well, your understanding and your passion is definitely the drivers behind it, and I think every patient that comes to you must be very grateful to be able to have the choices and um not just, you know, one stop shop could be a really ugly phrase, but to get the highest level of quality at a location that's going to provide you with many different levels of health and wellness and well-being, not just focusing on one thing or the other.
- 34:04SPEAKER_00: So I definitely commend you on that.
- 34:06SPEAKER_00: I think that's awesome.
- 34:08SPEAKER_00: So if a patient wants to come to you, whether they're medical tourism flying in or if they're local to Florida, how do they find you?
- 34:15SPEAKER_01: Well, hall longevity with two L's is the website.
- 34:17SPEAKER_01: So haulongevity.com.
- 34:19SPEAKER_01: No three, not three L's, but two L's.
- 34:22SPEAKER_01: And then that um that's our our handle for most of our social media.
- 34:28SPEAKER_01: Uh Hall Longevity underscore clinic, I believe, is for TikTok, which is interesting.
- 34:34SPEAKER_01: We have a lot of young people that follow us, and that's really what I'm trying to do is engage them and really get in their mind hey, you know, you don't need to vape, you don't need to drink energy drinks and eat, you know, out of a bag or a box.
- 34:50SPEAKER_01: You can do other things, at least put that out there because they're not hearing that.
- 34:55SPEAKER_01: And and and I would like to be able to interface with them.
- 34:59SPEAKER_01: I I had a funny situation, I take care of a very famous young hip-hop star, and he's very intelligent, and he's you know been a patient of mine for a while, and I believe that this is a trend, that people are really interested in this sort of wellness health trend.
- 35:24SPEAKER_01: I believe the DJ uh Deeplo talked about people are not looking to drink, but these concerts and DJing are looking to do healthy things, to be around um you know these environments that that are they're wholesome, right?
- 35:42SPEAKER_01: They're not drugging and drinking.
- 35:43SPEAKER_01: A lot of young people don't want to do that, you know.
- 35:46SPEAKER_01: I think that that may be a great trend.
- 35:49SPEAKER_00: Well, I hope this trend turns into a lifestyle, absolutely.
- 35:52SPEAKER_00: And for any viewers that are of a certain age, like I am, or older, or even younger than I am, but you're ready to start, it's never too late.

- 36:05SPEAKER_00: Hall?
- 36:06SPEAKER_01: You you've you you've spoken perfect English, and I believe that whenever you decide to do something, it's it's the best time to do it.
- 36:16SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 36:18SPEAKER_00: Well, you have been such a fantastic guest.
- 36:21SPEAKER_00: I would love to have you on again in the future, and I absolutely want to stay in touch.
- 36:25SPEAKER_00: Uh, you're a champion that the world is looking forward to, and it's actually overdue.
- 36:32SPEAKER_00: So I commend you on that, and I thank you not only for appearing today, but for all the ways that you're finding to give back constantly and to fight for the average person out there for a better lifestyle.
- 36:46SPEAKER_00: I think that's amazing, and thank you so much.
- 36:49SPEAKER_01: I couldn't do it without Christ.
- 36:52SPEAKER_00: Amen to that.
