- speaker-0: everybody welcome to speaker-1: the shared show live is this your first time joining I am shared and looking speaker-0: I am the host of the Sheridan Show. speaker-1: And I'm joined by my friend Simone. Hey y'all. Yes. And we are live in DC. So we're gonna get started. if you're new to the show, how things work are we're gonna start off with our what's the tea segment. And that's just talking about hot topics that are happening in the world right now. And yeah, we're gonna give our opinion. We are not experts, we are opinionated human beings, just like everybody else. We are very opinionated. Very opinionated. speaker-0: What? speaker-1: And that is why I have a show. So cheers to cheers to and cheers to like your fourth time in DC since I moved. I know it's crazy. Yeah. So Mona and I met in Charlotte, but we'll get into that later. Yeah. Okay. What's the team? Also, let's keep in mind that the chat runs slower than here. So like We can give people a chance to answer questions. So welcome speaker-0: Again. speaker-1: to the Sheridan show. We're here to have raw, live, authentic conversations, no judgment, and really just leading with curiosity. So to speaker-0: So we're going to get into. speaker-1: our what's the tea segment. Okay. I'm excited. I'm excited. With something we can go heaviest to lightest. Okay, so one speaker-0: Bye! speaker-1: there is a huge court case going on right now with a surrogate in her parents. So the surrogate's name is McKenna West. Basically, she lived in Alaska, and however surrogacy works, she got set up with his parents, got pregnant, obviously, and I don't know how far along the baby was. They found out that the baby was going to or the baby had a Some type of potentially terminal like heart condition. Okay. And so the parents wanted to abort the baby because they were like, even if the baby survived the surgery, like it just wasn't the outcome wasn't gonna be good or the odds weren't good. Yeah. So, anyways, fast forward, McKenna was like, I don't want to do that, blah, blah, blah. So she goes to Texas. And if y'all know Texas, because I'm from Texas, Texas has like one of the most strictest divorce laws. I was gonna say, wait. I think she did it on the Yeah. Line the street is like she did that on purpose. On purpose as like, okay. Yeah. So she went to Texas, got the surgery, or they found a doctor. I mean, also like Houston, we do have great like hospitals. So that could be why. Yeah. But Alaska to Houston, like you couldn't find a hospital that entire way. I mean, but also Texas is known for those chick logs. Yeah, I feel like she intentionally definitely. Yeah. Yes. I think I see this on TikTok. Yeah. A little bit. Okay. So because the court the case has been going on forever. Or not forever, but I mean forever in Newsland. And who was I can tell you? So now fast forward, she came to Texas, got the surgery, the baby survived. And now the parents obviously they live in LA. So, like, okay, like we want our baby. Let's bring our baby to LA. And so she's like, no, basically doesn't want to take the child to LA. It sounds like she's trying to keep the child. She even like gave the child a name that the parents didn't give it. And so it's just very interesting. Like speaker-0: Bye. speaker-1: How I feel about surrogacy. Like, I feel like if I were ever to be in a position to need a surrogate, I would just be scared that that person would like become attached to the baby. Yes. And have you seen some of those stories too? How sometimes at the end it's like the mom, like the actual like parent that has well, I guess more so I guess it happens with like adoption, but same thing where like it's a surrogate and you carry it till the end and you're like having this attachment to it. Yeah. Yes, I don't know. I just think it's like That could go either way. Like, I don't know, it just h hiring a surrogate already seems like a risk in itself. Yeah. So one, I would love to know in the chat if you ever had to hire a surrogate, would you or would you just decide to just not have children? Even if that was like your last option. What would you do? I don't think I would have a surrogate. I'm kind of of the belief of like if I cannot naturally have kids, then it's just not meant for me to have kids. That's just a personal preference. Like I'm just not really big. into what's the word like I'm not really big into like non-medically non-medical like or non-urgent medical thing. Right, right, okay. So for me, even like I don't think I would ever do IVF. Like if I just can't have kids, I that's just like a personal thing. Like I just feel like if it's not gonna happen naturally I'm not about to put my body. I'm very similar to you. And I I don't think I would do like an IV like I mean if I also put it I want like one kid. Yeah. So I guess that would kind of make it different. Yeah. Y'all let us know how y'all feel in the chat. Would you hire a surrogate? would you what would you do in her situation too? Because it's like on the one hand, her whole defense, I guess, is that the parents wanted to abort the child. So it's almost like you kind of gave up. On the one hand, it's like, did they give up their parental rights when they said they would have aborted the child? No, I feel like I feel like even if 'cause I guess I guess in their defense, it's like a some type of contractual agreement. So like if we don't have want to have a kid anymore, you can't have it. Is that kind of what it is? I feel like that's what it is. I don't know if it's as strict as that. And I feel like they're going to start making surrogacy laws stricter because of this situation. Yeah, because my I think my issue is like, okay, if the adoptive parents or or the the non-surrogate parents, that I don't know how how you even say that. How do you say that? The speaker-0: I don't know. speaker-1: The non-birth. I'm like, I don't know what the word, the parent, the actual parent of the child. Yeah, if they decide I want to abort this, like kill the kid. And and and I'm pro I'm pro choice. Right. Always been. But in this case, it's like, well, someone does want the kid. So if the surrogate wants the child, how come you have to now get an abort? Like, you what I'm saying? Just just just release all of your I don't know if that's a thing. Like. And then it's like, would you want to know that like your child is somewhere out there in the world being raised by someone else? Okay, so I guess I guess I guess for surrogacy. This is gonna sound so stupid. There's no such thing as stupid things on the Sheridan show. For some reason, I thought though that in surrogacy it's it's still a little bit of the of the surrogate, right? Or is it completely the parent? I mean, the surrogate is basically the host. But like is it any type of her DNA in that? I mean, I think every type is probably thinking about how she's. Yeah, that's just a difference because with with this couple, they have a man and a woman. Okay. Okay. Science is so great. We'll move on to the next. But we did have a comment in the chat. Someone, okay, two people said, I'd do adoption over surrogacy if I couldn't have my own. Surrogacy seems to be very dicey. True. I mean, adoption, that's a whole other conversation. I feel like surrogacy and Ivy F seem very dicey. Adoption is also dicey because there I mean I don't want to sidetrack from our other topics, but like there's this thing, there was this discourse on TikTok of like people who give their child up for adoption in a closed adoption, which means you're not supposed to be able to like find your parent, but then the kids are still like finding their parents. Like, yeah. It's actually that I think I know what TikTok is anything else. My thing is if I was adopted and I found out that it was a closed adoption. not be trying to seek my parents out. I would be so no, I mean like I don't know if I would necessarily care to have a long like relationship with them. But I think like if if I came across their Facebook, I'm sure, or or if I didn't cover across they've been like these people were like hunting you down. They're like going through like 23 of me and like because one person was found like that. I don't think it was intentional, but they said one person like accidentally found their parents. Or siblings. But to be honest, if I had such an amazing life with my current parents, I probably wouldn't care that much. I don't think I would either. Yeah, I actually think I think I would speaker-0: Okay, no. speaker-1: Okay, one more one more comment and then we can move on. someone said I wouldn't want a surrogate only because I know if I were a surrogate, I'd say I think she would get attached. This girl said, I can't even foster a dog without wanting to keep it. So imagine me with a baby. This sounds like a horrible lifetime movie. Who is name? Like speaker-0: season. speaker-1: Okay. We're gonna move on. Okay. Next speaker-0: Next! speaker-1: topic. Jasmine Crockett and Chris Brown. Okay, I I'm not that up to date with this. You have to tell me. Okay, cool. I was like, how up date do you have to tell people? Okay. So TLDR in the last week or so, Chris Brown and Usher had a concert in Dallas, Texas. Jasmine speaker-0: Just speaker-1: Crockett, who is in the Senate in Texas. She ran for something. I should know this. She ran in the election early this year and lost. Ever since then, it's just been, I don't know. That's a whole I don't even want to get into the politics of her. Right, right. She ran for something. She didn't get it. She decided for whatever reason to honor Chris Brown and Usher at a concert in Dallas like a week or so ago. And everyone was just kind of like, Why would speaker-0: few million. speaker-1: Why the fuck would you do that? Like as a politician, then she got on stage and she was singing like spin that. Wait, okay. So is this because this is gonna this is a topic. Yes. This is a topic. Wait, is she in is she a Democrat or a Republican? I should know this. I'm sure she's a Democrat because the smear campaign that people were running against her were from Republicans in Texas. Yeah. For again, I know I should know this forget on on like Democrats for these like concerts, like with all these super popular artists. Yeah, people did the same thing with Cardi B. I remember with Meg. Meg. But the g the thing is, it's not really about the artist. It's the fact that like, why would Jasmine like I could see an exception if it was like Meg the Stallion was performing because she's a Texas artist. Like, cool. You're giving a known woman beater an award on stage? Like it's like a congressional award, so it gets documented. Like in his dress off for what? Like like what like what did he do? When y'all found out, let me know. Cause I don't know. I don't know. I think it's just I think that it might be different if sh if he was performing. He was speaker-0: for me. speaker-1: like that. Because he doesn't deserve No, he doesn't he definitely doesn't deserve a even if even if that didn't happen, which I have a hard time of not putting that together, even if that didn't happen. Yeah. Literally, what did he do? And then someone said she never even told anyone to vote. That was my thing. It was like, and again, I'm riffing this off of people's opinions online, but like it'll be different if she used it as an opportunity, like, hey, get out to vote, because there's all these things happening in Texas right now that are like potentially gonna prevent people from voting coming soon. And so that could like that could have just been an opportunity to like encourage people to vote. Not on stage and saying, spin that. With a crop top, which I don't really care about that. I'm not here for the outfit shaming. I that's been a discourse online. I won't I won't touch it as an untamed woman. If she was gonna say like that, that's fine. But you got on stage and gave a known abuser a congressional award. Yeah. Wait, are you serious right now? She would not have my vote. I'm not even gonna I might just say And that's my point. Someone said She could have given the award to someone who actually did something good. Exactly. Yeah. It's just like there's just so many other people. Like there's the other thing is there's actual artists in Houston that like are making change in Houston. Or they're just like doing things for the community. She might have been doing it for Clout. It clearly was for Clout. So someone else on TikTok was like, I think she's just trying to get proximity to celebrities while she can. That and then like talked about, you know, because he just had his like. His two concerts. Girl. And yeah. She needs a new PRT. It wouldn't be me. Horrible idea. Big mistake. I'm I'm very not impressed. I actually hate that for her. Okay. Last speaker-0: on the speaker-1: topic, but certainly not least. You know what I'm talking about? No, but I didn't see you then. my god. Okay. Let me just tell y'all. So if you are not on the interwebs, people have been debating for the last I don't know, the last Week about if you should be allowed to bring iced coffee or any drink to an interview. One, I just want to go on record. We found the stupidest shit to complain about or like hills to die on. I I don't really feel strongly about it either way. But like, I don't know. Personally, I wouldn't bring coffee to an interview for a variety of reasons that I won't share here. But I wouldn't come with coffee. Like that just wouldn't happen. But then two, it's like, if I did, you mean to tell I'm not gonna get a job because I went and got coffee before the interview? No, I actually want to know the reason you wouldn't. No, I wouldn't. Well, the reason I wouldn't is because personally my stomach is a little sensitive to coffee. I was thinking why seems to change with the professionals. So I'm like, no, like share. Because to be honest. I'm like, No, I thought yours had to do something like professionally. Do you care? Professionally, no, I've just never thought about it because I mean, one, I haven't had to do an in-person job interview right in like to 2017, 2018. So that's one. So I definitely whenever I've done virtual interviews, I do have a drink next to I was gonna say, so it could be okay. Yeah. I don't know. It's like I don't think I personally don't think it's a big deal. Not big enough. I don't I can't see myself interviewing somebody and be like, ugh, they came in with coffee. Like, because one of the examples is like coming in with coffee just gives the impression that this is just like another errand. Yes, yes. And it's like I mean a job interview is an errand. Like but see, but see, that that's such a me and you way of thinking. Yeah. Because low key, I under okay, that's something that I would bring with matcha. I'm not even gonna lie. I think I mean matcha's a little Somebody said matcha is pushing it. Exactly. Because matcha is just like it's already not good. No, but it's not about that. I mean that's your opinion. I think it's amazing. And that and that's part of my morning errand. So I probably wouldn't do it because I know the next person is gonna think it's unprofessional. Do I think it's unprofessional? In this day and age. In twenty twenty six, yes. In twenty twenty eight it's gonna be very normalized. I I don't know. I just feel that only skipped two years. I'm just saying I feel like it's like Kind of a big deal because we're kind of on the brink of like Gen Z being our managers versus like the 40 year olds, 50 year olds. Okay. So if like me, if I was someone's manager at 30 and someone brought an iced coffee, I'd probably be like, but I don't think it would really like make me think differently. Now, if I was now today's 45 year old managers are gonna be like, what or 50? Yeah, you know what I'm saying? Like our parents' age probably were. Okay, someone said exactly because then bubble guts during the interview when you're already somewhat anxious, that's definitely a setup. So I said, Macha is pushing it. Who said that? Adrena. And then someone said, Stevie said, so is it the type of drink or cause it's a drink? Water would have worked. And that was some a point that someone else made. Like, yeah, if I came in with the water, it would have been an issue. wouldn't it? Yeah. So I don't get what is the coffee just like offensive to people because it's like, how dare you have time and not be stressed out this morning preparing for the interview. If you got there 30 minutes early with the coffee, you might you might get your best. If you're like running into the interview like five minutes before, that's it definitely gives like excuse. It definitely gives, yeah. I have other shit to do. But if you're like really early, it's like okay, well sh they just wake up early, like they just got the I don't know. Yeah, exactly. Can you do the job or no? Okay. Yeah. Moving on. Thank y'all for being so active in the comments. I love these opinions. Okay, we're moving on to our side quests segment. So, y'all know me. I love a good side quest. I'm always doing something that's not planned and just kind of off fine by the seat of my pants. So, side quest of the week. What has been your latest side quest? That could be In the l let's say in the last month. Maybe the last quarter, but I would prefer the last month. Even if the last week could even be even better. wanna say it but I don't know who's watching. What are you gonna say? Wait, the mic. speaker-0: You should! speaker-1: The whole thing. I don't know how I don't know if you should go into detail about the guy. Yeah. But that entire I even planned it a week before. Okay, yeah. Tell them tell them that. He's not watching. Okay, so actually, I don't care. Fuck it. Everyone should know about this. I'm seated. Let me because this is gonna be a story time. She is a witness. Like yeah, I was actually a witness. Yeah, unfortunately. My latest side quest. It's two parts to it. The one part is why I went being I think that's the main side quest. It was very random. I decided on a random week in July. Is this July or August? This was July. yeah, this was July. I decided on the first week of July I wanted to go to LA and make some and and get some get some shit shit together. Shit shit shit together. That's what you have to tell people. Yeah, for now. okay. We'll stay tuned later for what she impromptually went to LA. So I went to LA to get some to get some shit together, right? And I decided I decided literally first week of July, I just got got back from Miami. Next week I said, Yeah, I'm gonna go. And you did 'cause you hit me up and you were like, Yeah, I literally just bought my flight. Yeah, because it because there's something that I've been wanting to get done. I'll talk about it later. Okay, can you at least give the people like what like when you say get something done like a procedure? I got a procedure done. I'm leaving the witness, y'all. But yeah, she got a procedure done. And so I but I decided like I happen to be there when she I decided when she did that. I got I decided a week before. I said, okay, yeah, I'm gonna go. And then and then crazy one of my I don't know what to call him, homeboy guy. So I don't know what to call that man, but this guy I knew. was also going and I said, you know what? Perfect. I'll go the same week you go. Uh-huh. So That trip was supposed to be I land, I get my procedure, and then we go to an Airbnb like an hour or two away and chill, like in the middle of nowhere. And that's not what happened. And that never happened. That never happened. What do y'all think happened in the comments? What what do y'all think the procedure was? And what do y'all think happened? Yeah. The procedure was already a crazy ass side quest because I'm like I just decided what they was crazy. But but that's not surprising for me. Okay. yeah. Okay, well, you gotta tell people at least something like how did it make you feel? Like what did you what did you learn? I'm sure you learned a lot. yeah. I've learned I am can I say this on camera? What are you about to say? No, you can't say that. Okay. So hopefully hopefully the mic didn't pick it up. Yeah. But I learned though from this, because I am a I the type of person to do to do like r really random trips. So like this doing a random trip is not that outlandish. It was like me just making a really life changing decisions a week prior. Yeah, life. Body altering. Body altering. And then on top of it, I didn't really have like I'm unemployed. I mean I I have no, I have a business, but I don't have like, you know, yeah. So I I mean we guys will just lead into your your interview at this point. Okay, okay. Yeah, we're just gonna, yeah, we're gonna I'm we're I'm gonna skip my side quiz for the week. Okay we're gonna we're gonna lead into your interview. Okay. So tell the people what you got done. But you feel comfortable sharing. I I just got, I'm gonna say I just got a body enhancement. Okay, she got a body enhancement. Y'all can take that for whatever you want to take it as. So I just have so many questions. One, for those who don't know Simone, we're gonna get into it. Simone and I met in Charlotte. We're gonna go we're gonna put a pin in this part of the story. Simone and I met in Charlotte at a bar that we both used to work at. If you didn't know, I definitely got a bar job for like a month in Charlotte. So sorry, mom and dad. And we became really close. And so we have a similar background. Like Simone also works in marketing. We're very creative people, all the things. And Simone also has worked in nightlife. And so one thing I'd be curious about to kind of kick us off: do you feel like you working in nightlife has influenced you getting different body enhancements? Yes and no, because I think the first ever thing I got done was my like filler back in twenty twenty. So I think I was like that was your first time. Ever. It was like in COVID. I think You're in COVID, people are dying. She's like, I'm not messing with you. I'm just messing with you. I don't know why. Like it it I think in this time on TikTok, like I started learning. It was so like a random thing. One day I was like, you know what? I think I would be I would look good with like lip filler. Yeah. And I and I used to have really, really thin lips. I wish I had a picture. I know I wish I had a picture to pull up for you. I don't know if they can see it though. So I used to have like really, really thin lips. I was like, you what? I could just get a little bit. Like, I didn't even think anything of it. That I did only that for like the first two years. I didn't try anything else. Then when I got to nightlife, I think it was around the time I started like I changed my hair color around that time. And then for some reason the blonde works for you. I do like the blonde. Yeah. so so I got the I got the filler again two years later. So it like dissolves. And then you know, once you start going into the med spots, what they end up doing is like almost putting in your head like more things that that that would be cute. So it's like they're like drug pushers. Yeah, like and and and you know pusher Katie, you're a push. Yeah, it never it doesn't start off like, I'm gonna get XYZ. It literally started off with lip through, which probably I don't want to say fifty percent of women have it, but a lot of women have filler. Yeah, it's very, very common, even if you can't tell. That's my thing. I can never tell when someone has like filler. Sometimes people just do a tiny bit, like just to make it like you know, proportion or whatever. but anyways, I started getting introduced to Botox. Yeah, and they were like, I think it was like after I got my filler, it was like you can get 10 units of Botox for free if you spend this amount of money on filler. Mind you, filler is very filler is like $700 of syringe. I don't I don't think I knew that. Yeah, and it only lasts like nine months. Okay. Okay. So you feel like you were more influenced by the people at the med spaws versus like working in nightlife. Well, so I would say around that time that I went back for the touch up, which was I started I was in nightlife at the time. And you're always looking for ways like to obviously look better. Like 'cause you yeah, you're always looking for ways. I mean, it wasn't like a like a crazy thought for me, but I was a bottle girl. So and I also Okay Bottle Girl. And I worked in Atlanta. I think Atlanta was more of the one that like had me feeling like, okay, I gotta step it up. Very interesting. Okay. Charlotte, not really. Yeah, because like Charlotte. I mean, I mean, like I still wanted to look good. Like I still yeah. I I definitely got ready more. I will say that like your other beauty enhancements are probably more, like your hair appointments, nails and stuff like that. But as far as like filler and stuff, I think it was just like the more you go to the med spaws, the more they like almost will like give you advice. Yeah. Like, you know what? It would be so cute if you like. And then I don't even know. I would be so sc I'm so scared to like do anything to my face. Yeah. I would just be scared that I would mess something up. I'd be curious in the comments if you've ever had any type of like beauty enhancements or if you would consider them, what would it be? I think especially like in the black community, I feel like there's not enough like Awareness around I don't know, people don't talk about it as much. Like I feel like in other communities of very wide known. Like I've had coworkers who are like, I'm gonna be like in late to work because I'm like going to get my Botox done. I've had white co-workers who went too, and for me, I'm like but you don't hear a lot of black women talking about it. Maybe because it's just not a thing in our community, but like I don't think so. I think it is a thing. There's a lot of black women, a lot who do get like Botox, but Botox are so you can't I have units currently yeah but so you can you can like but that one unit is a syringe right like not syringe but like but like i only get it so that my like eyebrows will like you know now my eyebrows aren't done right now so you can't really tell but typically it's just like a little that opens up your eyes like like you can't tell okay what's your craziest experience that you've had so far with like beauty enhancement LA. That's why. That's why I said this is my most recent what's it called? Your side quiz. Okay, well tell us what happened. Why what made LA crazy that you feel like sharing with the people? I haven't even told you this. So okay. Okay. This is gonna be a little it's not gonna be I'm not gonna make it too long, but anyways, I'm nervous. Okay, LA and she was in LA at the same time, by the way, guys. Yeah so and it was like divine timing. Yeah, it divine time. But I knew I knew that that that you were going. Me and you both knew. that's true. I think we did. We didn't know like we were gonna be there at the same time until like a couple days before I flew out. Yeah, that's that's messing me. But anyways, so I get there. You know what's crazy? I'm so sorry to get off public. Come here. The first time actually, no, no, no, no, no, no, I can tell you. Okay. The first time I was going to do this, do you remember I was gonna drive to Atlanta and I found you and Yes, and we told you not to do that, all right? And then you ended up taking me home and I never got it done. I would have been getting it done years ago. That's so funny. And then the second time I saw your location and you were just like at the airport. Yeah. That's and then we talked her out of it. No, did we talk you out of it? Well well, I was just trying to figure out how I'm gonna get there. And then then I think you were like, No, let's just go. Let's just go home. Yeah, like something with sketch or something. And we were just like, We're gonna take like we're gonna take you home. Yeah. Somehow I miraculously am always around when you're getting these procedures done. So then I might be like your guardian angel or something. I don't know. So on my third round, you can come too. Okay, so no, last time I felt traumatized. Okay. So let's tell everybody what happened. I go to LA. She's there. Anyways, I'm there like with by myself, kind of, but like a guy is like coming the next day. And then like so, anyways, I get it done one morning originally. We're going to cancel my appointment. And I and then and then I was like, Well, I came, I flew all the way out here. Like, is there any another nurse that can do it? Because they said I didn't know this part. Because they said the nurse that was supposed to do your procedure is out today. And so can you come back tomorrow? That was a sign. And and remember, I also missed my flight to LA. I didn't know that. Yeah, so I just like like and then this happens. I'm like child, your guardian angels be really working hard, and you I do not you do not care. Like they they were working real hard and you're like trying to get them not to go. So then it's crazy, Simone. You gotta start listening to the spirit. I know, I will I I really will. So and once I get there, this is the most painful procedure of my life because you're awake. Okay, I didn't know you were awake, yeah. But it is local and it's usually. But you're awake. I my when I tell you like I I can still think about it. Like you were in pain for days. And then we didn't we didn't do anything together. Well, we like hung out in LA. But I feel like walking like this every time we I saw you like like two days. I saw you no, we did stuff, but I thought we would have done more things had you not. I know, and I and I was like, dang, of course, time that me and you're both in LA, I'm it would have been. I'm playing. Well, no, I wasn't playing nurse, let me not say that. Okay, curious though, in the comments, if you're watching, have you ever had a procedure done? Or would you, if you had to do any type of like beauty enhancement, fillers, etc., even what's the other thing that people hear with their teeth? veneers. Veneers. I actually have vineyards too. I didn't know that. You didn't know that. Just for one tooth, though, not your whole one. No, I have the third six. they look so natural. I forgot. Yeah. They don't look like how some people's veneers are. Yeah, I have the bird six. My top six. And that and that's an example of when you go for one thing and then you go back again and you get more. Then you get more. They got you in a 360 deal, girl. Crazy. I had to finish the LA story because you actually don't know what ended up happening. And this is why the side quest was fucked up. So most excruciating pain of my life. But the local anesthesia was great for on my way back. like back to my my hotel and I was fine. I put on a bathing suit and everything I took picture because like the it was painful going in but then like once it was done it was fine. I put on a bathing suit. I go to the I go to the pool like 'cause I'm like I'm gonna take a picture of my new body. I'm saying speaker-0: It's speaker-1: fine. It was a lot of Lido pain and like you know look like when I tell you the pain went from a n a one to a nine Within like 30 minutes, I was in so much. You should have been at the hospital. my to the point where I was throwing up. I was getting hot. Like me and the guy, I I was out there. No, me and the guy I was out there with, we had to go to the bank. And like I had to keep and so to and so so like we're in the line, right? I had to keep walking out the line. I walked in some banker's like office and sat in his chair. I was in so much pain. Samo and I kept like walking around the bank and triggered like if I stop, I'm gonna faint. I literally would people in the bank Jimmy Water. I mean, it was bad. I still can't get over you throwing up. Yeah, I was hot. I was so hot. Like like just your body was just hot, like just from like I was I was having sweats, like I was hot, and then it was like every time I was in the car, I was laying. Do you remember? I was laying. I felt like I was driving Miss Daisy because she was in the backseat of the car. car but anyways cool took about two weeks to to to recover from that you know I'm better with like wearing a little saha now okay so I'm better now so I've been about a month right yeah it's been a month the other day it's almost been two months right yeah yeah it'll be two months this week yeah I still be feeling a little bit but so it's about two months right I'm like you know what I I started to to like book myself I'm like I look the same. Like, I don't know what it is. I do it just like that is what do they call it? Body dysmorphic? I guess because I I but like the thing is I think I look good. I'm Yeah, you look good. I'm just like, I don't see much of difference. Like I just don't see it. So I'm like, I'm serious. So I'm like, you know what? I should hit them up again and ask them for another round. I try I try to find them on Instagram. Instagram pages deactivated. So these were scammers? Hold on. Instagram page deactivated. I said, Cho have a website, right? I tie I go back to the website, gone. 404. So then I have their phone number, right? I call their phone number. Samo. I'm like, I call their phone number. I well, the first I text them, it goes to green. I said weird. I call them. It says discover some disconnected. These other people, the nurses, the nurses. That did my procedure. I so, so my best friend Amanda somebody said, I know you line. Girl. So my best friend Amanda, I was telling her about it. I'm like, girl, I was trying to get a second round. This shit's gone. So she's like, go on TikTok and search them. Cause we're on were they on TikTok before? Mm-hmm. Okay. I searched them. And It and mind you, I was told these are real nurses. And actually, as you go in it, it's like a real doctor's office. Okay, it has like it has the bed, it has a little red thing on the wall that you put the needle. It has everything. Some home. It was real. It had it had a place to check your And the thing is they had like 30,000 followers on Instagram. I've seen a lot of girls go some and and it was nurses. Like even on Instagram, they said that it was nurses, right? I go on TikTok. People are saying these are fake nursing licenses. You could have died. So many people. Do you know how many people they had come in in a day? When I was there, it was six six. Stevie said it was real. When I was there, it was at least six to eight other girls. I kid you not. Just waiting in this little hospital looking waiting room. Girl, you might as well have went to one of them motel. But it was a real dog. But it's not your fault. I mean it's I really hate that this happened. I'm glad that the Lord saw you fit. Here's the thing, here's the thing. They have three locations. Like they have a Vegas one, one in LA and one in Bakersfield. So anyways, that was the craziest side quest I've been on and it just so happened to be two months ago. But I do like the results. And honestly, I could find someone that could do it legitimately. I won't. I won't. She's lying because she would do it again. I would, but I know everyone's gonna be so disappointed. Everyone. So I'm just not gonna do it. I'm just not gonna do it. I feel like you're gonna do it and just not tell us. That is a possibility too. You know, I don't even know where to go from here. I'm just glad. I'm just did you ever watch She's Gotta Have It? No. okay. That happened in She's Gotta Have It and she went and got something similar done, but it was in a motel and she almost died. See, that is a thing though. Like, yeah, it looked like Jada Waida is glad that you somebody said this sound like beauty and black. Yeah, yeah. Jada Waita's exactly what it sounds like. All those influences. So and I'm like, wait, so not everybody has a has a That change hurt. A lot of people are getting shot. I wanna cry. So I like I mean, but it's a very common thing. I was just listening to Dead Fresh the other day, and little baby said something about he ain't got nothing against the ass shots. That's what he's saying. I mean, most a lot of men don't. no, it's not it's it's it's it's it's not about men. But I'm saying though, okay. It's not it's not about it's not about the me. No, no, no. It's it's it's becoming more common, you know. I do think it's becoming more common. I think that I just I applaud you. I'm living vicariously. Honestly, honestly, don't live no. That is actually no don't. Like I think I just my god. I was gonna ask you that, but I didn't know if you were gonna share that here. But like do you do you ever think there's overlaps between well, do you wanna share your Yeah, I think that yeah, I think that Sometimes I have I'll say it like this. I think sometimes throughout the year I have a lot more energy than other times. I've a lot more energy. I have, you know, I'm wanting to be outside and just try to do things and I spend a lot of money. And then there's some times in the year that like that I'm locked in. I'm at home. I'm not doing much of anything. And I think around the time that I get all this energy, I just start to make like life changing decisions. But it's not even supposed to be life changing. It's not even supposed to be life changing. It's supposed to be something, that looks cool. I'm gonna do that. Yeah, I'm in there. There's so many other side quests before you got to that point. I've done so many side quests before that. Like, like so but but yeah. my gosh, okay. But that would probably be the last time, honestly. I know that it's it sounds like I'm not I'm going to, but I honestly keep thinking about how both times something's like stopped me from going. And I've been there both times. I know, and it makes me think like as much as I want to do it, it's probably like a sign, like yeah, yeah. I mean, I have I one, thank you for your transparency because, like you said, a lot of people are getting different beauty enhancements then, but they're not necessarily like sharing, which nobody owes you that, right? Like you get done whatever you want to get done. Like you don't have to tell people what you're getting done. But I do think it's nice to like at least get the real perspective of like the dark side, I guess you can say, of beauty enhancements. Cause nobody tells you that. They they don't you just hear the news of something happened to so and so, but you never like really hear. The real like what happened. So one, thank you for sharing and being vulnerable and sharing your story. two, I'm glad that you were still here with us. And here's the thing of healthy mind and body. Just stick to the med spas and maybe doing like the filler botox. That's easy. Once you start to do other things, like the only this is why the only thing filler moves. I didn't even know filler even migrated until like recently. Yeah, and moves. But like the only thing that I think I've done that is like has been even remotely dangerous is Obviously that. And like everything else is like easy, you know. Yeah. So I I would just say just don't do it. Stick to the lakes and rivers of cheese. You just you got to say no. Okay. You got to say no. No, no, I honestly am also so pro like if you want to fix something by yourself, you should. Like like if you're like, you know, I think you should. I kinda like I might eventually get my boots on. I'm like if if I ever were to have kids. I would be like, hey, while I'm there, especially if I had a C section, God forbid. I'd be like, y'all already, I'm already on the table. Like, give me a little lift. You know what I'm saying? There's a little but that's it. Like, it would just be a lift. I'm afraid to like go under the knife and like go into anesthesia. Yeah, me too. I anesthesia sounds very creepy. Yeah, th that that's why I have burger than this. Anesthesia just sounds like I would be hyperventilating. No, no, it no, it sounds like I might not ever wake up. That's what I'm nervous about. That's why I would never do like a real EBL like a speaker-0: oooo speaker-1: Boobs because you know you could things happen. And like a lot of people get boob jobs. And then sometimes those I don't know if it's the ones that are made of silicon that get moldy, but if you've seen those, I've seen that. I've seen that. Yeah. It's just too many things that can happen. But let us know in the comments before we move on if you have ever gotten work done or if you would, what would you get done? Someone just said, I know you lying, and then Simone please. Who's that? Alexi and then be this sounds like beauty in the black. I'm crying now. So the y'all, the also the crazy thing is if you don't know Simone, I feel like sometimes there's this stereotype about that's not the live, is it? Well, there's sometimes this stereotype about like people who get procedures in. Simone is smart as hell, and she's a businesswoman. Like this is just this is just like the multifacetedness of who you are as a person. Because you have different businesses going. You also work in nightlife here and there, and you help people in nightlife. And so it's just very interesting. Like you're a very dynamic multifaceted woman of interests. thanks. Yeah. Anything else you want to share before we move on to our untained segment? No. I don't think so. What what is there No, I think that was it. Yeah, I think it was interesting. I think my focus is less about the nightlife and more about like 'cause I've tried my hardest to get out of it. You like ghosts. Yeah. Have you watched power? yeah. Okay. No, no, no. I I tried my hardest. That's why I haven't done it. Not you're trying to get out the game. No, I have I haven't done it out here. Except for I I worked at I worked at one bar for like a month as a bartender. So I was like, I want to be like I don't even want to be around people. Yeah. But ever since then, like I was helping some of my friends like promote their parties and stuff. But I've kind of stopped that. I think it's like I had to I had to like cool myself. And I think like w one of the biggest things I wanted to do with DC was like not get sucked in. Somebody said, Stevie said, I'm sure she's talking about anesthesia. He said it's not too she said it's not too bad. You fall asleep and wake up. Yeah. I have heard that you do get some good sleep. I'm just afraid to like for a cosmetic procedure should be to do it for like, you know, emergency for reference. Yeah. That's fair. Yeah. Okay, we're gonna move on to our last segment of the night, which is our untamed segment. If you know, you know I am Miss Untamed and all the things. So our topic of the week is Kevin Costner. I don't know if you knew who Kevin Costner is. He played in the bodyguard with Whitney Houston. Before your time, before your time. If y'all ever watch The Bodyguard, Kevin Costner is okay, making sure I'm looking at all the the lives. Hold on one second. I lost the lives. Let's see. Okay. I want to make sure I'm looking at the comments. So Kevin Costner, he's an actor, he's 71, and he is dating some I forget they said she's like some type of influencer or something. Her name's Jennifer Milburn, and she's 40. So people, of course, are like, okay. It's a big age gap. Seventy-one and forty. Yeah. Like that's just like that's a grandpa. That's somebody's grandpa in like your it could be her dad. Yeah. I didn't want to say that, but I mean pretty much. No, it could. Literally. Yeah. Yeah. I mean 'cause 30. Yeah, 30. 31 years. Yeah. So like how do we feel about well, how do you feel? And I'll share my thoughts about age gap. Like what's too old and too young? So the thing with with with me with age guy is I feel like it depends like what age you're at. Because to be honest with you, like if you're 22 dating like no, if you're 21 dating a 31 year old, legal but weird, right? Yes. Because it's two different phases of life. Exactly. Yeah. But like if you're like me as a I feel like I could date, I feel like I could date 10 years older as 29, I could date like a 38 year old. Yeah. That's not as weird. Yeah. I'd still, I mean, it's still would you date anybody younger than you at your current age? You know what? Yeah, I think I would I think I yeah, probably and this is a new thing. I used to not I used to be like you have to be at least six years older. Like that was like my thing. Yeah. I don't even like men in their twenties or in like their early thirties. I don't relatable. But more recently I've been liking it. They're more fun. Okay, so I've heard that. So I had a lot of thought. Way more fun, actually. I have not dated anybody younger. However, well, I've never wanted to. Like, even I remember growing up, my mom would always be like, Men are at least two years behind women in like maturity. Sorry, mom, if I'm putting your business on blast. But like, so I've never, even in my twenties, I didn't really want to date people that were like my exact age. I just felt like I'm very mature for my age as it is. So I was like dating somebody like if I was 25, dating a 25 year old just didn't like dating a 20, we have a comment too. Dating a 25 year old at 25 just wasn't my jam. Now currently at 33, I have been approached by younger guys and I'm like, it's cute. Like the flirty energy is cute. Would I take you seriously? No, because I'm just not looking to be like what if he's like two years younger. Two years younger is not bad. Yeah. But he would have to be like on my maturity level. But he could be though. Yeah, but what if he's on a maturity level and he's two years younger? But I would prefer to date older. I think that I could well I don't care anymore. Okay, but what's your max at your current age? At twenty nine? So so the max I would date would be like 38. Okay. Which I actually so that that's like my type. It's like 38. So however, I would go down to With my three line. I'll go down the true. I go down to 28. The girl's sitting down at 28. Okay, like leave us a comment in the chat if you would what's your current age and what's the youngest you would date and the oldest you would date. So currently at 33, I think the youngest I would go is 30. Because I feel 30 was a big year for me personally. That like if you have not gone through like your quarter life, like Saturn return, as they call it in astrology land, if you have not gone through your Saturn return, I can't date you because there's just certain things that like. You just mentally your frontal lobe has not fully developed. The oldest I would go at 33. I don't know. I I feel like I could date up to 50. Really? What? But it would have to be like a like a y a youthful 50. hell no. See, here's the thing. What if it didn't look 50? No. No. I'm not even a tra like even especially now, a lot of like older men. Like in their fifties, try me bad. Yeah, of course they do. But like and I wish that I I I I I was No, I don't like it. I don't. Yeah. I think it would have to be a certain mean I've seen people do it and the guy is very useful. So like you would even know. What if he's called? That's my point though. I think that it has to be a certain type of like anything personally as a thirty-three year old. Anything any person after forty three has to look younger than their age for me to consider them in general. I mean they would have to look in their thirties. And some of them do. At forty three, not at fifty. There's no way. Okay, someone in the comments said, What if the guy is 20 and the girl is 40? There's such a there's such a double standard with that. I mean, not to be a spoiler alert. Well, I'm not gonna spoil it, it doesn't matter. If you haven't seen the new Why Did I Get Married 2 movie, then you're gonna I just saw it. Okay, so like Taraji's care Taraji's character was dating somebody younger. I mean, personally it's a no for me, like is as well I'm not even close to 40, but I was as a as a somebody that's close to 40, I'm not. But I don't know, a 20-year-old guy. I just can't imagine. I mean, I'm not 40, but I cannot imagine what what I would find entertaining. Like something it sounds it's just for the fun in the physical. But listen to this. If it was a 20-year-old girl and a 40-year-old man, it would look like it would look weird. It would look like like like like their predator. But for some reason, when the woman's older, it's just like she's having fun. I mean, it is still kind of weird to me personally. yeah, it's weird to me. I do think there's a double standard. Yeah. I think also I saw a comment on TikTok where someone was like, I think you can only have large age gaps in relationships once somebody has reached a certain age. Like I think under 25, you don't need to be dating people that are like drastically older. I think over 25, especially over especially when you hit 30, I feel like it's a fair game. Yeah. But going back to Kevin Costner and Jennifer, I still don't know if I at 40 would date a 71 year old. No. That's 31 years. That's three decades. And to be honest with you, the younger That's kind of gross. It's gross. Like the younger, the more fun. I I don't even see how they're having fun. I I love a younger man. I will say Kevin Costner does not look 71. Not young. To give him some credit. He doesn't look 72. He's not fun. He's probably so boring. He probably is. Okay, well let us know. No one's y'all being real coy in the comments. No one's get leaving any how old or younger you would date. I see a few of y'all watching. Okay, we'll see. We'll see if anybody comes back with any. But yeah, I think that it just depends. But I think after I think it's better when it's like the person is over 30. When you're over 30, I think there's some leeway, but I still feel like 71 and 40 is crazy. It's so funny because we were just talking about Matthew McConaughey last weekend. yeah. Yeah. My friends and I were like lusting over him. I don't know. Matthew McConaughey so Matthew McConaughey is fifty six. What would y'all do? No. I don't love Matthew McConaughey. I'm sorry. I love Matthew McConaughey. He would be an exception. You know who I would do that's older? You're about to say somebody that's so outlandish. I already know. Who is it gonna be? Rick Ross. You know what? Rick Ross is crazy. His current girlfriend seems kind of young now. She's actually 40. She just looks how she looks young at 40. You don't think a man can look young at 40? No. Mm-mm. And they also And they'd be so corny. Like, what? She wasted all this good energy on Rick Ross. But Simone, that's Simone's type. It is. So not to give your type away. No, but like literally. but it's a yes. Matthew McConaughey, 50 cents. 50 cent. Y'all 50 cent for sure. 10 out of 10. disgusted. Matthew McConaughey, hell yeah. Okay, someone said. They would date between Brittany said they would date between 35 and 55, but he gotta be active and not look old. That's really the point. Like if you were in the gym and drinking water and all the things, I have met some older men that look younger. It's not even about the looks sometimes for me. It's like how they act. I I I just are so boring. Because what are we really talking about, Simone? Yeah, Simone, I don't know. You got the people shook this episode. It's a lot of things have honestly, honestly though, I don't You guys should know I do like not regards is a little bit big, big, but I do typically like more heftier men. You know that. Like men that are. Yeah. Yeah. I don't even have anything to say. Well, you know. this has been lot of fun. Yeah. It's been a great time. I can't believe an hour went by so fast. usually I like to try to live leave people with some type of like somebody say I got a question. What's the question? Okay, keep it clean, whatever the question is. Let's see. We're gonna see what he says. Cause we do block people around here. Yeah. Let you know right now. I block people in real life and on the show. Okay. Okay, while we wait for his question to pop up, homework for the week. What would be the homework that we want to leave the viewers with? You know, I love a good book wreck side quests. I was gonna say everyone should do don't do like an outlandish side quest. Yeah, just do something like do something. But everyone should do a side quest. Everybody should do a side quest this week. That is your homework. Actually, everyone should do a side quest. Like we should both hold ourselves to it. Yes, I'm gonna do a side quest. I don't know what it's gonna be. But between being in DC and going to New York next week, I'm sure I can think of something. I'm never out of side quests to do at the end of the day. Okay, we're waiting to see what Chris has to say. I'm trying to think what I would do to see. That's a side quest. That's not outlandish. Well, you don't really have to plan your side quest. I know. Hopefully you like kind of falls into my lap. Okay. Well, Chris did not have a question for us. That means it probably wasn't gonna be necessarily appropriate. Because we said we were gonna block him and then he never asked. Yeah. Okay, thank you. He said he would keep his comments to himself. Well, appreciate you watching. Thank y'all for joining. This is the Sheridan show. we're always having interesting conversation with interesting people, staying curious, be untamed, and you know, catch y'all until next time. All right, bye guys. Bye, friends.
