- 0:00Speaker 1: Gospel reflection for the 22nd day of October in the
- 0:04Speaker 1: year of our Lord, 2026. This is from the book
- 0:08Speaker 1: of Luke, chapter 12, 49 through 53. I am come
- 0:14Speaker 1: to cast fire on the earth, and what will I
- 0:17Speaker 1: but that it be kindled? And I have a baptism
- 0:20Speaker 1: wherewith I am to be baptized, and how am I
- 0:23Speaker 1: straightened until it be accomplished? Think ye that I am
- 0:27Speaker 1: come to give peace on earth? I tell you, no.
- 0:30Speaker 1: but separation. For there shall be from henceforth five in
- 0:34Speaker 1: one house divided, three against two, and two against three.
- 0:37Speaker 1: The father should be divided against his son, and the
- 0:39Speaker 1: son against his father. The mother against the daughter, and
- 0:42Speaker 1: the daughter against the mother. The mother-in-law against the daughter-in-law,
- 0:46Speaker 1: and the daughter-in-law against the mother-in-law. So, what are we
- 0:51Speaker 1: to make of this? Today, once again, The Prince of
- 0:55Speaker 1: Peace explains that he has come to create a new
- 0:58Speaker 1: religion which will be at odds with the old. At odds,
- 1:01Speaker 1: I should say, with the old. Even among families. He
- 1:05Speaker 1: also explains that Christians who are citizens of his kingdom
- 1:09Speaker 1: will always be at odds with those who follow the
- 1:11Speaker 1: king of this fallen world, who is Satan. This we
- 1:15Speaker 1: can understand. But how is it that the majority of
- 1:19Speaker 1: Catholics support abortion and gay marriage? Never mind that the
- 1:23Speaker 1: Old Testament absolutely condemns killing children, and it has been
- 1:28Speaker 1: the constant teaching of the Catholic Church that abortion is forbidden.
- 1:32Speaker 1: And that's the constant teaching for a good 2,000 years.
- 1:36Speaker 1: The Church also declares homosexuality and transgenderism as completely immoral.
- 1:42Speaker 1: And the New Testament states that neither homosexuals nor the
- 1:45Speaker 1: effeminate will enter heaven. Continual teaching of the Catholic Church.
- 1:52Speaker 1: for 2,000 years has condemned such sexual perversion. And even
- 1:57Speaker 1: Pope Francis, our probably most liberal pope in recent memory,
- 2:03Speaker 1: issued a statement saying that trans ideology is disordered, detrimental
- 2:07Speaker 1: to society, the family, and individuals, and can never be
- 2:10Speaker 1: accepted by the Catholic Church. And Pope Leo seems to
- 2:14Speaker 1: be more traditional in his state opinion than Pope Francis.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Liberal Catholics don't care. They want votes. They'll sell out
- 2:22Speaker 1: every Catholic doctrine and all morality to maintain their power.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Not only is the Catholic Church completely at odds with
- 2:30Speaker 1: modern American society, but so are all Christians and really
- 2:34Speaker 1: all other religions who believe in traditional morals. Yes, on
- 2:38Speaker 1: this one, we can pretty much agree with a lot
- 2:42Speaker 1: of Muslims and a good many Jews and different, actually
- 2:48Speaker 1: lots of different religions. I mean, really If we do
- 2:52Speaker 1: not stand up now, and, well, let me put it
- 2:56Speaker 1: this way. Because we believe in the teachings of Christ
- 3:02Speaker 1: as church, we are becoming persecuted Christians. Now, that may
- 3:05Speaker 1: not be as pronounced in America as it is in, say, Canada,
- 3:10Speaker 1: where the government is actively trying to outlaw Christian teachings
- 3:15Speaker 1: on homosexuality and transgenderism and who knows what else. Abortion, divorce,
- 3:22Speaker 1: I mean, everything. But, you know, I mean, just a
- 3:25Speaker 1: couple years ago, the Biden administration was going after people
- 3:28Speaker 1: who prayed in front of abortion clinics or nuns who,
- 3:32Speaker 1: you know, didn't want to participate in such things. Catholic
- 3:39Speaker 1: hospitals and institutions that were standing up for Catholic moral principles.
- 3:44Speaker 1: We have been... persecuted in this country, I mean, it
- 3:49Speaker 1: was illegal to be Catholic in North Carolina until just
- 3:51Speaker 1: around the Civil War. I mean, you literally could not
- 3:55Speaker 1: vote or own property. Who would have imagined then that
- 4:00Speaker 1: America would soon legalize no-fault divorce, that America would soon
- 4:05Speaker 1: legalize abortion, that America would soon legalize gay marriage, and
- 4:11Speaker 1: now taxpayer funds going to cut children's bits off and
- 4:15Speaker 1: teachers teaching them they can be cats and dogs and
- 4:17Speaker 1: whatever they want to be. As long as we stand
- 4:23Speaker 1: true to the teaching of the Catholic Church, we are
- 4:26Speaker 1: absolutely at odds with our culture and with our American
- 4:31Speaker 1: judicial system. If we don't stand up now and demand
- 4:36Speaker 1: that our bishops join us, we will be persecuted with
- 4:39Speaker 1: the violence and oppression that the early church faced. Now,
- 4:45Speaker 1: Jesus said he came to divide. Read Acts. Read St.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Peter and Paul and the different writers of the New
- 4:54Speaker 1: Testament after the Gospels. Look at what the early church
- 4:59Speaker 1: actually faced. You can look at the records of history.
- 5:04Speaker 1: You don't even have to use the Bible, okay? The
- 5:05Speaker 1: Jew who became Christian was ostracized, kicked out of the synagogue,
- 5:16Speaker 1: erased from his family tree, no family member would speak
- 5:20Speaker 1: to him again, usually forced out of his town, his
- 5:24Speaker 1: job was taken away, and he was lucky if he
- 5:26Speaker 1: wasn't stoned to death. Look at St. Peter. That's exactly,
- 5:30Speaker 1: I mean, there are a lot of people today that
- 5:33Speaker 1: the so-called Messianic Jews and Torah-observant Christians that act like
- 5:37Speaker 1: Christianity and Judaism was one and the same, and I've
- 5:40Speaker 1: even had them say to me that Jesus was a
- 5:42Speaker 1: rabbi and the apostles were went to the synagogue every Saturday.
- 5:46Speaker 1: And yeah, it's true for like the first few months
- 5:49Speaker 1: of Christianity. And then the Bible actually tells how they
- 5:52Speaker 1: were forcibly expelled and St. Stephen was stoned to death.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I mean, about half of all Jews converted to Christianity
- 5:59Speaker 1: in the first hundred years of the church, of their
- 6:01Speaker 1: own free will, voluntarily. The other half did everything they
- 6:06Speaker 1: could to kill all Christians because for a Jew to
- 6:10Speaker 1: say that Jesus was Messiah was... blasphemy under Mosaic law,
- 6:15Speaker 1: and they had to be killed. For a Gentile to
- 6:19Speaker 1: convert to Christianity was treason. There were soldiers, officials in,
- 6:27Speaker 1: you know, the Caesar's government, who refused to sacrifice to
- 6:32Speaker 1: pagan gods, and they were killed in the most brutal
- 6:36Speaker 1: way as you can imagine. I mean, you can read
- 6:39Speaker 1: the martyrdom of, what, St., Oh, it's right on the
- 6:44Speaker 1: tip of my tongue. Not Irenaeus. Right on the tip
- 6:48Speaker 1: of my tongue. Why is that always the case? Anyway,
- 6:52Speaker 1: read the martyrdoms of the early Christians. I mean, they
- 6:54Speaker 1: were crucified. They were fed to lions. There was no,
- 7:00Speaker 1: you can be Christian and get along. Not if you
- 7:03Speaker 1: were Jewish and not if you were Gentile. You were
- 7:07Speaker 1: going to be ostracized, your income taken away, hated, rejected
- 7:13Speaker 1: by your family, and killed. We've seen this throughout history.
- 7:18Speaker 1: We saw it very much in the so-called Reformation. I mean,
- 7:22Speaker 1: Martin Luther had the German princes on his side, and
- 7:26Speaker 1: they slaughtered who knows how many thousands of Catholics. King
- 7:31Speaker 1: Henry VIII waged a genocide on his own people, slaughtering
- 7:36Speaker 1: hundreds of thousands, basically, of Catholic Englishmen. Also Welsh and Irish.
- 7:46Speaker 1: The genocide against the Irish is the really, to the
- 7:51Speaker 1: best of our knowledge, the worst chapter in human history.
- 7:56Speaker 1: The Irish are the most enslaved nation on the face
- 7:59Speaker 1: of the earth. Half of Ireland was either killed or
- 8:01Speaker 1: forced out of the country as slave labor to be
- 8:06Speaker 1: replaced by what we now call the Scots-Irish and the
- 8:10Speaker 1: Ulsterman and all that, you know. what the English did
- 8:14Speaker 1: to Irish Catholics is worse than what Germans did to
- 8:18Speaker 1: Jews in the Holocaust. And no one ever talks about it.
- 8:21Speaker 1: No one ever talks about it at all. You'll hear that,
- 8:24Speaker 1: you know, when the Portuguese or the Spanish colonized the
- 8:28Speaker 1: islands of Hispaniola and such, they did awful things to
- 8:31Speaker 1: the natives. And yeah, they did, okay? I'm not going
- 8:34Speaker 1: to cover up for that. You know, meanwhile, the natives
- 8:36Speaker 1: were doing awful things to each other. You know, but,
- 8:40Speaker 1: you know, you can equivocate all you want Protestantism has
- 8:44Speaker 1: blood on its hands worse than the Nazis. So don't
- 8:48Speaker 1: think it cannot happen again. Look at the Spanish Revolution.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Look at when the Communists tried to wage a revolution
- 8:55Speaker 1: in Spain. The horrors that they committed. Look at the
- 8:59Speaker 1: Communists in Mexico, another Catholic nation. I mean, we're talking
- 9:04Speaker 1: burning priests alive, raping nuns, burying people in manure, desecrating bodies, killing...
- 9:13Speaker 1: I mean, horrible things in China, in Russia, because Catholics
- 9:19Speaker 1: wouldn't go along with the government. Do not think it
- 9:23Speaker 1: cannot happen today. If you say, you know, if you
- 9:27Speaker 1: said a few years ago, I'm a Catholic and I
- 9:29Speaker 1: opposed abortion. Joe Biden would try to put you in prison.
- 9:34Speaker 1: We're only two years away from that. I mean, think
- 9:37Speaker 1: about it, y'all. This is not... ancient history. We are
- 9:44Speaker 1: two years away from Catholics literally being prosecuted, dragged out
- 9:51Speaker 1: of their beds in the middle of the night by
- 9:52Speaker 1: SWAT teams, pets shot, guns put to their wives' and
- 9:56Speaker 1: children's heads because they oppose abortion or trans stuff or
- 10:03Speaker 1: gay marriage when our so-called Catholic president supported it. I mean,
- 10:11Speaker 1: we are always, we are always this close. But anyway, if...
- 10:19Speaker 1: If we don't stand up now and demand our bishops
- 10:21Speaker 1: join us, we will be persecuted with that same oppression
- 10:26Speaker 1: that the early church faced. And it's only gotten to
- 10:29Speaker 1: this point because of the cowardice of our very leaders.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Our very bishops and cardinals who allow Nancy Pelosi and
- 10:40Speaker 1: Joe Biden to receive communion because they don't want to
- 10:42Speaker 1: offend the evil, godless, socialist Democrats. And that's what they are. evil, godless, socialist, communist,
- 10:52Speaker 1: atheist Democrats who call themselves Catholics simply because their parents
- 10:56Speaker 1: were Catholic. And maybe they went to Catholic school. They
- 10:58Speaker 1: don't hold Catholic morals and doctrines. They do not believe
- 11:03Speaker 1: in the teachings of the church. They're no more Catholic
- 11:05Speaker 1: than Satan is. Satan was an angel created by God
- 11:08Speaker 1: who rebelled against God. That's what a Democrat is. Democrats
- 11:12Speaker 1: are purely evil. And let me make this perfectly clear.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Republicans are not great. They're not great at all. Republicans
- 11:21Speaker 1: really suck on a lot of issues. But the Republican
- 11:27Speaker 1: platform says that we oppose abortion. The Democrat platform fully
- 11:35Speaker 1: endorses killing babies. That is purely evil. You cannot be
- 11:41Speaker 1: a Democrat and be a good person. Democrats, the Democratic Party,
- 11:46Speaker 1: and everyone who votes Democrat, supports killing innocent babies. Democrats
- 11:52Speaker 1: are evil. Republicans may be awful, but Democrats are evil. Okay. Um,
- 12:01Speaker 1: if you have to choose between the two, choose the
- 12:03Speaker 1: one that's not in favor of killing children. I mean,
- 12:06Speaker 1: is that reasonable enough? Well, anyway, uh, like I said,
- 12:10Speaker 1: it's only gotten to this point because of the cowardice
- 12:12Speaker 1: of our leaders and I could name them, you know,
- 12:15Speaker 1: I could name them very easily. Um, But remember, a
- 12:19Speaker 1: house divided against itself cannot stand. All professed Catholics who
- 12:24Speaker 1: publicly support immoral policies must be excommunicated. And they actually
- 12:29Speaker 1: are de facto excommunicated. The Church teaches that if you
- 12:33Speaker 1: support abortion, if you vote for a politician that supports abortion,
- 12:37Speaker 1: if you actively support abortion, you are de facto excommunicated.
- 12:41Speaker 1: You are not to receive communion. And any priest... who's
- 12:46Speaker 1: too cowardly to refuse communion in Nancy Pelosi or Joe
- 12:49Speaker 1: Biden or Dianne Feinstein, I don't know. I can name
- 12:55Speaker 1: a lot of them, right? Any priest who's too cowardly
- 12:59Speaker 1: to deny them communion is actually complicit. Actually complicit in
- 13:06Speaker 1: two things. One, Jesus said if you receive his body
- 13:09Speaker 1: and blood unworthily, you become guilty of his body and blood.
- 13:13Speaker 1: The priest is actually complicit in aiding that person's damnation,
- 13:18Speaker 1: but also in creating scandal, making it appear that that's
- 13:22Speaker 1: okay to Catholics who aren't as well educated and may
- 13:27Speaker 1: have questions. It's not okay. Every single Democrat who calls
- 13:33Speaker 1: themselves Catholic is de facto excommunicated, just as every single
- 13:38Speaker 1: Catholic who's a member of the Masonic Order. There's no difference.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Just as every single Catholic who's a member of the
- 13:44Speaker 1: Communist Party is de facto excommunicated. Where is our church
- 13:50Speaker 1: leadership on that? Where are the strong voices speaking out?
- 13:53Speaker 1: Where are the Fulton Sheens of our time? You know,
- 13:58Speaker 1: they're hobnobbing with the wealthy up in Manhattan and D.C.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Not going to offend anybody going to the cocktail parties.
- 14:06Speaker 1: They're going to have to answer for it. And I
- 14:09Speaker 1: frankly would not want to be in their shoes. Christ
- 14:12Speaker 1: is king, and his church must once more act with
- 14:17Speaker 1: his authority. There is only one authority on earth that
- 14:21Speaker 1: can say definitively what is right and wrong, and that's
- 14:23Speaker 1: the Catholic Church, because Jesus gave the Catholic Church that authority.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Not to any politician, not to any government. If the
- 14:30Speaker 1: government of the United States says something that the church
- 14:34Speaker 1: says is immoral is right, and codified by law, which
- 14:38Speaker 1: it does in the case of divorce, Abortion, gay marriage,
- 14:42Speaker 1: I could go on and on. The church is not
- 14:45Speaker 1: so definitive on the death penalty, but advises against it
- 14:50Speaker 1: pretty strongly. If my country says that no-fault divorce is okay,
- 14:58Speaker 1: that gay marriage is okay, that abortion is okay, that
- 15:01Speaker 1: transgender stuff is okay, and the church says it's not,
- 15:06Speaker 1: it's my duty as a Catholic to side with the
- 15:08Speaker 1: church and not with my country. And I will stand
- 15:10Speaker 1: up and tell anybody that. I will tell President Trump
- 15:14Speaker 1: and J.D. Vance. You've done a great job opposing Roe v.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Wade and working against transgender stuff. You've really done more
- 15:22Speaker 1: for Catholics than any president, especially our Catholic ones like
- 15:26Speaker 1: JFK and Joe Biden. But you're totally wrong on in
- 15:31Speaker 1: vitro fertilization. You are totally, absolutely wrong on... whether it's
- 15:38Speaker 1: birth control or artificial means of fertility. You're immoral, and
- 15:45Speaker 1: I'll tell you why. It's because all these embryos are
- 15:49Speaker 1: killed in this process. You really need to get right
- 15:53Speaker 1: on this subject. I'll tell them to their face. I'll say,
- 15:55Speaker 1: I voted for you three times, and I'd be glad
- 15:57Speaker 1: to vote for you a fourth time, but on this issue,
- 16:00Speaker 1: you're wrong, and you need to get right. And I
- 16:02Speaker 1: think if someone had the guts to do that, J.D.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Vance would certainly understand it. President Trump's not Catholic. His
- 16:10Speaker 1: wife is. You know, maybe someone could talk with them
- 16:13Speaker 1: about the immorality of such practices. But no one has,
- 16:21Speaker 1: and I don't have their ear. But I can tell
- 16:23Speaker 1: you for pretty dang sure, our priests, bishops, and cardinals
- 16:29Speaker 1: are dropping the ball big time. Big time. We, I mean,
- 16:36Speaker 1: under Pope Francis, the few that did speak out were punished. And,
- 16:42Speaker 1: I mean, we've got some cowards in the leadership of
- 16:46Speaker 1: the church. We know it's right. We've got the catechism.
- 16:51Speaker 1: We just have to have the guts to stand behind it.
- 16:55Speaker 1: As I said, Christ is king, and his church must
- 16:58Speaker 1: once more act with his authority. Y'all have a great day,
- 17:00Speaker 1: and I'll talk to you next time.
