  Speaker 2: his word. But today the tone begins to change a

  Speaker 2: little bit. In the middle of judgment, God gives his

  Speaker 2: people hope. A man that is a good thing, that
• 1:43
  Speaker 2: is a merciful God. He still wants to give people hope.

  Speaker 2: I hope that one day he will restore Israel and
• 1:51
  Speaker 2: gather his people from every nation and reveal his power,
• 1:56
  Speaker 2: not only to the nation of Israel, but to the
• 2:00
  Speaker 2: entire world. Now, this passage reminds us that while God's
• 2:07
  Speaker 2: disciplines his people, his ultimate desires always restoration. Judgment is
• 2:14
  Speaker 2: never God's final word for those who turned back to him.
• 2:19
  Speaker 2: So let's keep that in mind as we learn God's heart,
• 2:22
  Speaker 2: his character, who he is. I pray that this podcast

  Speaker 2: All right, family, Well let's die into it. Jeremiah chapter sixteen.

  Speaker 2: Grab your bibles, you know, pads, and your highlighters, and

  Speaker 2: we're going to start it off in verse fourteen. We're
• 5:11
  Speaker 2: going to go through fourteen and fifteen. And it says, therefore, behold,
• 5:14
  Speaker 2: the days are coming, says the Lord that is show.
• 5:19
  Speaker 2: No longer be said the Lord Liveth, who brought us up,
• 5:24
  Speaker 2: who brought up the children of Israel from the land
• 5:27
  Speaker 2: of Egypt. But the Lord lives who brought up the
• 5:32
  Speaker 2: children of Israel from the land of the north, and
• 5:37
  Speaker 2: from all the lands where he had driven them. For
• 5:41
  Speaker 2: I will bring them back into their land, which I
• 5:44
  Speaker 2: gave to their fathers a man. Now, that should encourage
• 5:53
  Speaker 2: a whole lot of people right there, because this is
• 5:57
  Speaker 2: guy's character. Even in the midst of severe judgment, he's
• 6:01
  Speaker 2: holding out hope to the nation.
• 6:06
  Speaker 4: One.
• 6:06
  Speaker 2: Now, this is an incredible promises promise right here, because
• 6:10
  Speaker 2: he says that the days are coming when people will
• 6:14
  Speaker 2: no longer speak primarily about the exodus from Egypt. Instead
• 6:20
  Speaker 2: they will speak about how the Lord gathered his people
• 6:24
  Speaker 2: back from every nation where they have been scattered. Now,
• 6:29
  Speaker 2: for the Jewish people, the exodus was the greatest demonstration
• 6:33
  Speaker 2: of God's power and faithfulness towards them. It was a
• 6:38
  Speaker 2: defining moment in their history. And just imagine God partying
• 6:44
  Speaker 2: the Red Sea. I mean, that is an amazing example
• 6:49
  Speaker 2: of God's power for your people. And God, this is
• 6:52
  Speaker 2: for your family. You know what I'm saying. But yet
• 6:56
  Speaker 2: God says that he is going to perform another word
• 7:00
  Speaker 2: so great that it will become the new testimony of
• 7:04
  Speaker 2: His faithfulness to his people. Now, these verses look beyond
• 7:09
  Speaker 2: Jeremiah's immediate situation, and that's what we have to do.
• 7:14
  Speaker 2: Sometimes we cannot just look at our immediate situation or circumstance.
• 7:20
  Speaker 2: We have to look past that and put our hope
• 7:25
  Speaker 2: and trust in God's promises. Now, while there were partial
• 7:35
  Speaker 2: returns from Babylon, if you read that story how the
• 7:41
  Speaker 2: nation of Israel gathered after seventy years, they were allowed
• 7:45
  Speaker 2: to go back to the land, but it was like
• 7:49
  Speaker 2: partial some people stayed in Babylon. Right, But the language
• 7:54
  Speaker 2: here points to a much greater restoration for the nation,
• 8:01
  Speaker 2: one in which God gathers Israel from many nations all
• 8:06
  Speaker 2: over the world, and it also highlights God's faithfulness to
• 8:11
  Speaker 2: his covenant and his ability to fulfill his promises despite
• 8:16
  Speaker 2: centuries of disobedience and man, God is still good. I know.
• 8:22
  Speaker 2: People say that I've been blessed in spite of me, right,
• 8:27
  Speaker 2: And that's what grace is. Grace's unmerited favor. Like, we
• 8:30
  Speaker 2: did not earn the grace of God in the favor
• 8:35
  Speaker 2: that God places on our lives, you know what I mean.
• 8:38
  Speaker 2: It's not something that we can say that we did
• 8:41
  Speaker 2: or we conjured up. Also, this reminds us that God
• 8:49
  Speaker 2: isn't finished with his people. I do not buy into
• 8:53
  Speaker 2: the replacement theology that Israel was replaced by the Church. No,
• 8:58
  Speaker 2: God is still going to work with Israel as a nation.
• 9:03
  Speaker 2: Sometimes our greatest failure becomes the setting for God's greatest
• 9:08
  Speaker 2: demonstration of grace. Amen, let me say that again. Our
• 9:13
  Speaker 2: greatest failure becomes an opportunity for God to dem to
• 9:19
  Speaker 2: demonstrate his greatest opportunity to give us grace. You know
• 9:25
  Speaker 2: what I'm saying. The same God who delivered Israel from
• 9:29
  Speaker 2: Egypt is a God who restores broken lives. Today, He's
• 9:35
  Speaker 2: the same God. If your life is broken, he is
• 9:40
  Speaker 2: willing to restore you and to bring you back home.
• 9:44
  Speaker 2: Maybe you've wandered from God, or maybe you've made mistakes,
• 9:49
  Speaker 2: maybe you've fallen in you fallen into sin. God specializes
• 9:54
  Speaker 2: in bringing people home. Amen. Now that should bless somebody
• 9:59
  Speaker 2: right now there verse sixteen through eighteen. Behold, I will
• 10:07
  Speaker 2: send for many fishermen, says the Lord. And they show
• 10:12
  Speaker 2: fish them. And afterwards I will send for many hunters,
• 10:17
  Speaker 2: and they show hunt them from every mountain and every hill,
• 10:23
  Speaker 2: and out of the holes of the rocks. For my
• 10:29
  Speaker 2: eyes are on all their ways. They are not hidden
• 10:33
  Speaker 2: from my face, nor is there iniquity hidden from my eyes.
• 10:39
  Speaker 2: And first I will repay double for their iniquity and
• 10:43
  Speaker 2: their sin, because they have defiled my land. They have
• 10:48
  Speaker 2: filled my inheritance with the carcasses of their detestable and
• 10:54
  Speaker 2: abominable idols. Okay, now this is strong, all right, So
• 11:00
  Speaker 2: we took a glimpse of hope, but right back to judgment.
• 11:05
  Speaker 2: So let's break this down. Amen. God sees everything. First
• 11:10
  Speaker 2: of all, God says he will send many fishermen and
• 11:16
  Speaker 2: then many hunters. No one will be able to hide
• 11:20
  Speaker 2: from him, every mountain, every hill, every hidden place, Nothing
• 11:25
  Speaker 2: escapes God's eyes. Everything is in his sight. Amen. Now
• 11:31
  Speaker 2: this should cause us to fear God and to live right.
• 11:34
  Speaker 2: For one, God also says that he will repay his
• 11:39
  Speaker 2: people for their sins because they polluted the land with idols.
• 11:47
  Speaker 2: Israel had a bad habit of worshiping false gods. Now,
• 11:51
  Speaker 2: for example, one of the gods that they used to
• 11:55
  Speaker 2: worship was bal ball worship or bail. This is where
• 12:01
  Speaker 2: you get the name does a bell from where she
• 12:04
  Speaker 2: was a bell worshiper, right. And one of the ways
• 12:09
  Speaker 2: that they would worship this false god is they had
• 12:13
  Speaker 2: little statues, little round statues of this demon really, and
• 12:19
  Speaker 2: his arms would extend out and his fingers would extend up,
• 12:24
  Speaker 2: and they would burn this thing. They would heat it
• 12:26
  Speaker 2: up to where it was red hot. And then they
• 12:29
  Speaker 2: would put their little babies on this idol to sacrifice
• 12:33
  Speaker 2: to them, and they would play drums and play loud
• 12:37
  Speaker 2: so they can drown out the baby's cries. This was
• 12:41
  Speaker 2: detestable to the Lord God. He said that this never
• 12:45
  Speaker 2: even came into his mind. He never required anyone to
• 12:49
  Speaker 2: sacrifice their babies to him. Now, when you understand that,
• 12:54
  Speaker 2: when you look at abortion and you look at what
• 12:57
  Speaker 2: we do in this country to our babies. We could
• 13:02
  Speaker 2: see that God would be right to judge America of
• 13:05
  Speaker 2: the United States, but it's by his grace and I believe,
• 13:11
  Speaker 2: because there's a remnant in this country that He has
• 13:14
  Speaker 2: not judged us yet. But the urgency is to get
• 13:18
  Speaker 2: the gospel out, get the message out. That's why I
• 13:20
  Speaker 2: need y'all to share this podcast, share the app, his

  Speaker 2: to save souls a man hallelujah. Also, we need you

  Speaker 2: telling people about Jesus as many people as we can

  Speaker 2: before He comes back to get us. But God sees

  Speaker 2: everything right, and it says fishermen and hunters nothing is
• 13:57
  Speaker 2: hidden from his sight. Now the hunter symbolize the certainty
• 14:07
  Speaker 2: of God's judgment. Just as a skilled fisherman or a hunter.
• 14:13
  Speaker 2: Eventually they will find their prey, They will find what
• 14:18
  Speaker 2: they're searching for. It God's judgment cannot be avoided. This
• 14:25
  Speaker 2: isn't a random punishment. It is a righteous response of
• 14:31
  Speaker 2: a holy God to a persistent and a rebellious nation.
• 14:37
  Speaker 2: So that day If we don't turn this around, and
• 14:42
  Speaker 2: God decides to judge the United States of America, his
• 14:48
  Speaker 2: judgment will be thorough. No one will be able to escape.
• 14:54
  Speaker 2: We can't run to the heels. We cannot dig a
• 14:56
  Speaker 2: hole deep enough. You see a lot of people trying to,
• 14:59
  Speaker 2: especially the they try to. They're digging, making these bunkers underground.
• 15:04
  Speaker 2: You can't hide from God in a bunker. I don't
• 15:07
  Speaker 2: care how deep you dig it. One of the greatest
• 15:13
  Speaker 2: lies that people believe today is nobody knows. Right. We
• 15:18
  Speaker 2: think we can go behind closed doors, or we could
• 15:21
  Speaker 2: lie and steal and cheat, and nobody won't know. But
• 15:26
  Speaker 2: God knows. He sees what happens in public, He sees
• 15:32
  Speaker 2: what happens in private. He even knows our motives, our thoughts.
• 15:38
  Speaker 2: And here's the beautiful part, though. The God who sees
• 15:42
  Speaker 2: everything is also the God who offers forgiveness through Jesus Christ.
• 15:48
  Speaker 2: So instead of running from God, we need to run
• 15:51
  Speaker 2: to him, and we need to fall upon the mercies
• 15:57
  Speaker 2: that Christ is done for us on the cross, say
• 15:59
  Speaker 2: Man nineteen through twenty one, Oh Lord, my strength, my fortress,
• 16:13
  Speaker 2: my refuge in the day of affliction. Now this is Jeremiah.
• 16:18
  Speaker 2: This is his response to the vision, to the word
• 16:21
  Speaker 2: of the Lord. He is worshiping God. And that's one
• 16:24
  Speaker 2: thing that we have to do. We have to become
• 16:27
  Speaker 2: regular worshipers. We don't just worship God when we're in
• 16:30
  Speaker 2: church singing worship songs. We worship God when we're driving,
• 16:35
  Speaker 2: when we're at work, even when we're sleeping, we can
• 16:39
  Speaker 2: worship God. Our spirits never sleep, and so this is
• 16:45
  Speaker 2: just spontaneous. He decides to worship the Lord and says,
• 16:51
  Speaker 2: the gentile shall come to you from the ends of
• 16:54
  Speaker 2: the earth and say, surely our fathers have inherited law
• 17:01
  Speaker 2: worthless and unprofitable things. Will a man make gods for
• 17:07
  Speaker 2: himself which are not gods? Now this is powerful. Therefore behold,
• 17:13
  Speaker 2: I will once cause them to know. I will cause
• 17:18
  Speaker 2: them to know my hand and my might, and they
• 17:23
  Speaker 2: shall know that my name is the Lord. Now this
• 17:27
  Speaker 2: is awesome. This is like a dream. I mean, really,
• 17:32
  Speaker 2: this is a dream for me when I hear about
• 17:36
  Speaker 2: I don't worship in the witchcraft throughout all the nations,
• 17:41
  Speaker 2: even in the ancient times, right, even when you go
• 17:44
  Speaker 2: through the Bible and you see these people worshiping false gods,
• 17:49
  Speaker 2: and then you look out in the nations today you
• 17:51
  Speaker 2: see false religions out there, even though they're trying to
• 17:55
  Speaker 2: make it all one. My latest talks about the King
• 18:02
  Speaker 2: of England, how his title used to be the defender
• 18:06
  Speaker 2: of the faith and he changed his title to be
• 18:09
  Speaker 2: the defender of all faiths. They're trying to make it
• 18:13
  Speaker 2: all one. They're trying to make it as though it
• 18:16
  Speaker 2: doesn't matter who or what you worship, like everybody is
• 18:21
  Speaker 2: right and right here. All they have to do is
• 18:23
  Speaker 2: read this, and nations will say that our fathers handed
• 18:28
  Speaker 2: us down worthless. Idols is worthless to make your own God,
• 18:34
  Speaker 2: hey man. And so just to read this, to know
• 18:36
  Speaker 2: that the world is going to turn from the deception
• 18:40
  Speaker 2: and they're going to turn to the true and living God,
• 18:42
  Speaker 2: really blesses my heart. Man like this, it's like, man,
• 18:47
  Speaker 2: I can't wait for the day. Amen. This is the
• 18:56
  Speaker 2: hope for the nations, the entire nation. Now. Jeremiah suddenly
• 19:00
  Speaker 2: shifts from judgment to worship and he declares, Lord, you
• 19:06
  Speaker 2: are my strength, my fortures, my refuge in the day
• 19:09
  Speaker 2: of affliction. Then he looks ahead and sees the nations,
• 19:14
  Speaker 2: all the nations of the world, coming to God. That
• 19:17
  Speaker 2: is beautiful. They will recognize that the idols handed down
• 19:22
  Speaker 2: by their ancestors were empty and powerless. And God says,
• 19:28
  Speaker 2: they shall know that my name is the Lord. Hallelujah,
• 19:32
  Speaker 2: that is so powerful. Now this is a prophetic glance
• 19:39
  Speaker 2: of God's future kingdom, when people from every nation will
• 19:43
  Speaker 2: recognize the Lord as the only true God. Passage points
• 19:48
  Speaker 2: beyond Judah and reveals God's plan for the entire world.
• 19:55
  Speaker 2: His salvation was never meant for one nation alone, but
• 20:01
  Speaker 2: we would ultimately reach every people group in every tongue,
• 20:05
  Speaker 2: every tribe, every nation. Man. This is, like I said,
• 20:11
  Speaker 2: one of my favorite parts in this chapter. God doesn't
• 20:14
  Speaker 2: end with judgment, He ends with hope. He says, to
• 20:19
  Speaker 2: the nations come. Then the nations will come to the Lord.
• 20:28
  Speaker 2: People from every background, every culture, every language will discover
• 20:34
  Speaker 2: that only God is worthy to be praised and worshiped.
• 20:41
  Speaker 2: That right there, Beloved, is exactly why his hot nation exists.
• 20:49
  Speaker 2: We use music podcasts, we outreach to the community, we
• 20:54
  Speaker 2: build relationships, discipleship relationships, and we point people to Jesus Christ.
• 21:00
  Speaker 2: Because one day everything will bow and every tongue will
• 21:06
  Speaker 2: confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, hey man, And like
• 21:16
  Speaker 2: I said, I cannot wait for the day. It's been
• 21:19
  Speaker 2: a battle, it's been a long ride. Love it. I
• 21:22
  Speaker 2: am ready for the kingdom to come. I'm ready for
• 21:25
  Speaker 2: all the nations to acknowledge God as a true God.
• 21:30
  Speaker 2: But things got to get dark before that happened. We
• 21:33
  Speaker 2: got a whole seven year tribulation to get through. And
• 21:37
  Speaker 2: my prayer is that everyone listening to this podcast, you
• 21:41
  Speaker 2: are ready for the rapture. I believe the rapture is
• 21:45
  Speaker 2: gonna come for God's people, his Church. We're gonna be
• 21:48
  Speaker 2: taken off the earth before this tribulation hits. There's evidence
• 21:52
  Speaker 2: of that in the Word, and so we need to
• 21:56
  Speaker 2: do that. Be ready by living, turning from a life
• 21:59
  Speaker 2: of sin and turning to a life of faithfulness. Unto God,
• 22:06
  Speaker 2: God always keeps his promises. Restoration is greater than our failures.
• 22:16
  Speaker 2: Nothing is hidden from God. Idols always disappointed one way
• 22:24
  Speaker 2: or another. People are going to realize the worthlessness of
• 22:27
  Speaker 2: worshiping other things right, and God's plan has always included
• 22:34
  Speaker 2: reaching every nation on the earth with His truth and
• 22:40
  Speaker 2: man that includes you, that includes me. We can see
• 22:44
  Speaker 2: this when Jesus started the church. He wants every tongue,
• 22:51
  Speaker 2: every tribe, every nation to be saved from the coming wrath.
• 23:00
  Speaker 2: And I pray that all those who are listening, your
• 23:05
  Speaker 2: next question is what must I do to be saved?
• 23:08
  Speaker 2: I pray that that is your response to this. All right,

  Speaker 3: And coping because this isn't who I was.

  Speaker 5: Was supposed to be my Mama's, a little blessing from above,

  Speaker 5: but instead of that, ended up trapping backing up with Dove.

  Speaker 5: Wasn't long before I fell and couldn't managed to get up,
• 24:09
  Speaker 5: Just a young teen addict with one mean habit, who
• 24:12
  Speaker 5: the thought the tree would grow from one seed playing
• 24:14
  Speaker 5: It broke my mama heart to see them promised some
• 24:16
  Speaker 5: read habit or the people that I love, and did
• 24:18
  Speaker 5: I once seen vantage consequences of addiction, or maybe on refinance,
• 24:22
  Speaker 5: because even with mistakes, the Lord to give you grace
• 24:24
  Speaker 5: to fix some. But I didn't care about nothing, and
• 24:26
  Speaker 5: all I wanted was to sip some hit some swip
• 24:28
  Speaker 5: sum whether I was tripping, I was nineteen and addicted.
• 24:31
  Speaker 3: How I ruined my life?
• 24:32
  Speaker 5: This you and I could confidently say that I did everything,
• 24:34
  Speaker 5: but this son confidently say that I had everything but wisdom.
• 24:37
  Speaker 5: I can confidently say I should be anything but lift,
• 24:40
