- 0:20Speaker 1: Gudi Eras in studio with me Taylor in the VIP
- 0:23Speaker 1: room board. Op Ricardo is trying to get internet for me.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Welcome back everyone.
- 0:30Speaker 4: I'm always intrigued by what words you're going to use
- 0:32Speaker 4: to start the show. Sometimes it's the phone number, Yeah,
- 0:35Speaker 4: Sometimes it's my government name.
- 0:37Speaker 3: You never know, yes, but it's always a little jarr yes.
- 0:41Speaker 5: And I'm always intrigued how his is the only Wi
- 0:43Speaker 5: Fi in this entire building that somehow never works.
- 0:46Speaker 1: What do you want me to tell you it never
- 0:47Speaker 1: worksy Tylor Taylor, I'm on the exact same Wi Fi.
- 0:52Speaker 4: Yeah, on probably a less impressive laptop.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Yes, mine is very impressive.
- 0:57Speaker 4: Yeah, and have perfect service. And last week when he
- 1:02Speaker 4: had his wife Abby's computer here, zero problem.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Yep.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Something's wrong with your computer, Stute.
- 1:08Speaker 1: It seems like someone's trying to get some information from me.
- 1:11Speaker 1: I don't know who or yeah.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Too much, Porne. Those websites should keep going to Oh
- 1:17Speaker 3: is that right? Born out?
- 1:20Speaker 1: Ricardo was trying to fix it right now. I'm a
- 1:21Speaker 1: little bit deeper in the studio than is he is,
- 1:24Speaker 1: and so I'm more I'm kind of more in the
- 1:26Speaker 1: middle of the building than you are. The internet connection
- 1:29Speaker 1: is not nearly as good astips.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Well, maybe the internet will work if we do that
- 1:34Speaker 3: in the entire time. We have to move ste God's
- 1:37Speaker 3: closer to the router.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Yeah, oh my god, I remember who apologized to Niko Harrison.
- 1:44Speaker 1: We'll get to that sound in a minute, because you
- 1:46Speaker 1: guys made fun of me last week when I tried
- 1:49Speaker 1: to do so. We got a lot to get to
- 1:51Speaker 1: the Bleacher Reports ninety nine greatest quarterbacks of all time.
- 1:55Speaker 3: We have not finished up that list.
- 1:57Speaker 4: We've had people across America. Yeah, on Monday and Tuesday
- 2:00Speaker 4: tuning in at three forty five Easter forty five Eastern
- 2:05Speaker 4: waiting for that list, because of course they can't just
- 2:08Speaker 4: go to the Bleacher Report website.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Yes, the update, yep.
- 2:10Speaker 1: And thank you to Dan Bayer and company for filling
- 2:14Speaker 1: in the last couple of days.
- 2:16Speaker 3: We appreciate it.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I texted Dan today because he played a couple of
- 2:19Speaker 1: games while will while he was filling in here is he?
- 2:23Speaker 1: And I said, can I ask you? Can I ask
- 2:27Speaker 1: you about the two games that you played and the
- 2:29Speaker 1: two games that he played his Tag Your Its and
- 2:34Speaker 1: Monster Dash? And Dan said, he's off today, he's golfing.
- 2:40Speaker 4: I have no idea how either of those two games
- 2:42Speaker 4: would go.
- 2:43Speaker 3: I don't either.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Well, I imagine, you know, franchise tag it was it
- 2:47Speaker 1: was something to do with that yesterday.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Perhaps maybe I'm a little less exciting than if it's
- 2:51Speaker 4: just about franchise tagging players in the NFL.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Yes, not that exciting.
- 2:56Speaker 1: So I asked Dan if we could play the games.
- 2:57Speaker 1: He said, he's golfing. He'll be back on Friday, but
- 3:00Speaker 1: I'm not certain we'll be here on Friday. We're gonna
- 3:03Speaker 1: take some days off from radio. And the reason we're
- 3:05Speaker 1: doing so is not because we're not committed to the show.
- 3:07Speaker 1: We love doing this show. I love doing this show,
- 3:09Speaker 1: but I also have a company to build, and there
- 3:11Speaker 1: is no way that I could host three shows, two
- 3:15Speaker 1: pods in the morning at an afternoon drive national show
- 3:19Speaker 1: and still build the company that iHeart has asked me
- 3:22Speaker 1: to build it. I'm excited. I spent some time on
- 3:25Speaker 1: it yesterday. We have some announcements to make with some
- 3:28Speaker 1: new shows coming up in the next couple of weeks.
- 3:31Speaker 3: But any time. Wow.
- 3:32Speaker 4: Yeah, So you take two days off and you're ready
- 3:35Speaker 4: to announce two new shows.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Well not two news show days off every week, I
- 3:39Speaker 1: mean a few new shows.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Listen.
- 3:41Speaker 1: If I get Friday off, I'll have five shows for
- 3:43Speaker 1: you by next Monday. Okay, how about that, Pats, We'll
- 3:49Speaker 1: see debatable. We have some games to play here as well.
- 3:55Speaker 1: We have new episodes of Stickouts and Company. We have
- 3:59Speaker 1: new episodes of with Stutats in Hawk. But we had
- 4:03Speaker 1: so much to discuss today on the podcast, we'd never
- 4:07Speaker 1: got to Taylor's topic.
- 4:08Speaker 3: He has an.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Idea, I believe to save baseball. And listen, the off
- 4:14Speaker 1: season in football is all about saving baseball.
- 4:17Speaker 3: That's what it is. That's what we do.
- 4:19Speaker 1: We fix things until we get back to the thing
- 4:22Speaker 1: that is absolutely perfect.
- 4:23Speaker 3: That's so funny.
- 4:24Speaker 4: We don't know how to talk about basketball in any
- 4:27Speaker 4: way except for those couple of weeks in March where
- 4:30Speaker 4: we're like, ah, senior guard, play yes, but in the
- 4:32Speaker 4: meantime fix another sport.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Yeah, America's pastime is he. I don't know what to
- 4:36Speaker 1: tell you. People care about it. It means a lot
- 4:39Speaker 1: to them, and Taylor wants to save it. So what
- 4:41Speaker 1: is your idea here, vip room tailor what is your
- 4:46Speaker 1: idea to save baseball here?
- 4:48Speaker 5: So yesterday was a pretty slow sports night on the
- 4:52Speaker 5: on the sports calendar.
- 4:54Speaker 3: For yourself so much, NBA yea And by the way,
- 4:56Speaker 3: welcome to March.
- 4:57Speaker 5: I mean again, very slow sports night on the sports
- 5:01Speaker 5: calendar for a Tuesday in March. So I'm watching the
- 5:05Speaker 5: Dominican Republic versus the Detroit Tigers exhibition game last night
- 5:10Speaker 5: because the World Baseball Classic teams are are starting to
- 5:13Speaker 5: get together and they're starting to play their games before
- 5:16Speaker 5: the tournament starts. Juan Soto hits a home run, they
- 5:21Speaker 5: pan to the crowd, and the crowd in the Dominican
- 5:25Speaker 5: Republic is going absolutely bananas.
- 5:27Speaker 3: There.
- 5:28Speaker 5: It's an electric atmosphere, and that got me thinking, I
- 5:32Speaker 5: think we should move the Chicago White Sox to the Dominican.
- 5:35Speaker 6: Report Really wow, just the White Sox because they already
- 5:40Speaker 6: have a team in Chicago, or because they have a
- 5:43Speaker 6: ton of Dominicans socks blanco.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I mean, how about that? Huh, why are we doing this?
- 5:50Speaker 1: I mean, I was hoping you would.
- 5:54Speaker 3: But is he with the X? I think so?
- 6:00Speaker 1: He asked Two important follow ups there that weren't a
- 6:03Speaker 1: dress weren't answered.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Because you were busy putting that in my headset.
- 6:06Speaker 4: Taylor, it's difficult being a ventriloquis. You have to do
- 6:10Speaker 4: both voices, so you can't actually take questions.
- 6:13Speaker 5: So is he I didn't hear your questions. I'm just
- 6:15Speaker 5: gonna guess what your two questions why?
- 6:18Speaker 4: No, the questions weren't Why the questions were Is it
- 6:20Speaker 4: Chicago because they already have another city? Or is it
- 6:23Speaker 4: because they have a ton of demands.
- 6:25Speaker 3: They have another team? You mean the Cubs perfect.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Another team in that city.
- 6:28Speaker 5: That was exactly the question I was going to answer,
- 6:30Speaker 5: no matter what, excellent good. Chicago is a Cub's town
- 6:34Speaker 5: through and through. Like you go to Chicago, you ask them, hey,
- 6:37Speaker 5: where's the baseball field? Nobody's gonna take you to. I
- 6:41Speaker 5: don't even know where they play us cellulars.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Yeah, they play in Chicago, Taylor, on the on the
- 6:47Speaker 1: other side of town from Wrigley Field.
- 6:49Speaker 5: Yes, But if you ask people, hey, where's the baseball field,
- 6:53Speaker 5: everybody's going to take you to Wrigleyville. Nobody's taking you
- 6:55Speaker 5: to USL.
- 6:55Speaker 4: You used to be kmisky, right right.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I think to Taylor's point, if you ask someone where's
- 6:59Speaker 1: the baseball field, most people are going to assume you're asking.
- 7:02Speaker 3: About Wrigley Fields. Yes, and you're right by the way.
- 7:05Speaker 5: And then the other the other question that comes up
- 7:07Speaker 5: when you pitch moving a team to the Dominican Republicans,
- 7:11Speaker 5: maybe the Dominican Republic doesn't have the infrastructure to support.
- 7:15Speaker 3: An MLB baseball team.
- 7:18Speaker 5: Stu Gott's what I would say to that is, is
- 7:20Speaker 5: this or is this not the sport that taught us?
- 7:23Speaker 5: If you build it, they will come.
- 7:25Speaker 1: It is the sport, Yes, you're right, put it on
- 7:28Speaker 1: the pole, Taylor. Is baseball the sport that taught us?
- 7:31Speaker 1: If you build it, they will come.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Did Baseball teach us that? Or did Hollywood teach us that?
- 7:45Speaker 3: So we're moving the White Sox to the d R.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Can we just add to that then, Taylor? Because look,
- 7:52Speaker 4: I used to be a Marlins fan. But let's be honest,
- 7:55Speaker 4: I think their time has come. I think they are
- 7:58Speaker 4: a major minor league team. Don't think anybody would miss
- 8:01Speaker 4: them if they moved to I don't know, Venezuela. How
- 8:04Speaker 4: about we have one MLB representative in each country that
- 8:09Speaker 4: represents the Caribbean World Series. Yes, or I mean yeah,
- 8:13Speaker 4: in the Caribbean.
- 8:13Speaker 3: World I like it. It is called the World Series.
- 8:15Speaker 3: There you go? Yes, yeah, I would do that. I'd
- 8:17Speaker 3: be all about it.
- 8:18Speaker 1: You would move the Marlins now? So now we're moving
- 8:20Speaker 1: the White Sox and the Marlins.
- 8:21Speaker 4: Yeah, because Tampa already has you know, more probably more
- 8:24Speaker 4: consistent success, even though they haven't won the World Series, right,
- 8:29Speaker 4: and so yeah, I think that the Rays would be
- 8:31Speaker 4: missed more than the Marlins would be missed.
- 8:33Speaker 3: I'd move the Rays to Puerto Rico. I think. There
- 8:35Speaker 3: you go? Would you really why the Ras are good? Man?
- 8:38Speaker 3: What are you doing to the Rays? Man?
- 8:40Speaker 5: They get very low attendance numbers. I'm picking these teams
- 8:43Speaker 5: right now because I'm just looking up attendance numbers, yeah,
- 8:45Speaker 5: and seeing which which fan bases deserve to lose their
- 8:48Speaker 5: teams the most.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Oh, because the White Sox fans are only there in
- 8:51Speaker 1: good times, they're not there in bad times. And same
- 8:53Speaker 1: of the Marlin fans. I mean, listen, we sold out
- 8:55Speaker 1: a football stadium for Game seven of the World Series.
- 8:58Speaker 3: We did.
- 8:58Speaker 4: I mean, I don't think we need the cam To
- 9:00Speaker 4: City Royals anymore. Why not the Cuba Royals?
- 9:03Speaker 3: I think you're going to Maybe.
- 9:09Speaker 4: Cuba's a little too far. In fact, Cuba's kind of
- 9:11Speaker 4: not in great shape right now.
- 9:13Speaker 3: And Stu.
- 9:13Speaker 5: Another question that comes up is what's happening currently in
- 9:17Speaker 5: the MLB. I'll tell you the Dodgers are spending money
- 9:20Speaker 5: on every free agent, but they also have a pipeline
- 9:23Speaker 5: that they've built up to where every prominent Japanese player
- 9:28Speaker 5: wants to play together. You have Otani Yamamoto, Roki Sazaki.
- 9:32Speaker 5: They all want to team up with each other. If
- 9:34Speaker 5: we move a team to the Dominican Republic, this could
- 9:37Speaker 5: be one of the ways we could counter it. Where
- 9:40Speaker 5: these these superstars in the MLB look at this team
- 9:43Speaker 5: in the Dominican Republic forming and they're like Jan Soto,
- 9:46Speaker 5: Fernando Tatiz, vlag Girrel Junior. Maybe these guys counter this
- 9:49Speaker 5: is this is our one chance to stop the Dodgers.
- 9:51Speaker 7: I think you just gave me an idea tailor. We're
- 9:54Speaker 7: going to solve two problems with one stone.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Here.
- 9:57Speaker 7: We're gonna move the Angels to Japan. We off the
- 10:00Speaker 7: pipeline making a bigger world series.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Yep, but a world series that Mike Trout still wouldn't
- 10:05Speaker 1: get to.
- 10:06Speaker 3: No, I mean, no chance, too far, pipeline too far.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Yes, of those organizations, I feel like the fan base
- 10:14Speaker 1: that would be least upset is the Marlin fan base.
- 10:16Speaker 3: There's always that Guy Marlin's Guy Marlin's man.
- 10:20Speaker 4: I think they'd still be upset because he'd be like,
- 10:22Speaker 4: why did we have to pay for that stupid stadium
- 10:24Speaker 4: if they're just gonna move to Puerto Rico.
- 10:26Speaker 3: And your answer is David Sampson, Yes, the Marlins.
- 10:30Speaker 5: The Marlins fans wouldn't realize that their team was gone
- 10:34Speaker 5: until about you, right, If then it's just Billy Gill
- 10:38Speaker 5: outside the stadium, he's.
- 10:40Speaker 1: The only one that noticed. Now Billy would move with them.
- 10:43Speaker 1: He's the only one who cares stup. Yes, are you okay? No?
- 10:48Speaker 4: You've been cough laughing for the last five minutes and
- 10:51Speaker 4: I can't you keep turning off the mic, And I'm
- 10:52Speaker 4: a little concerned.
- 10:53Speaker 1: So I had some work done to my mouth, to
- 10:55Speaker 1: my reteeth goosen, Okay.
- 11:00Speaker 4: All your reteeth are just one for.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Tooth one for tooth okay, and on Friday a second
- 11:05Speaker 1: fortooth a little follow up. I have no idea if
- 11:13Speaker 1: he said it on the air he did, But yes,
- 11:18Speaker 1: I am fine. I'm turning the mic on and off
- 11:20Speaker 1: because I have to cough because saliva comes up because
- 11:22Speaker 1: I have a hole in my mouth.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Ah okay, but I'm doing fine. Is just making sure,
- 11:28Speaker 3: thank you for asking the Marlin fan base.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Would they wouldn't notice until September if the Marlins were
- 11:35Speaker 1: in a wild card race, and even then they still
- 11:38Speaker 1: might not notice. The Royal fans, I feel like, would
- 11:41Speaker 1: be the most upset. Maybe the White Sox fans. I mean,
- 11:43Speaker 1: go ahead, tell black Jack McDowell that you're moving the
- 11:46Speaker 1: Chicago White Sox to the dr.
- 11:48Speaker 3: See how he responds. You throw on right in your face.
- 11:51Speaker 4: I mean, you still think he's representing the White Sox
- 11:54Speaker 4: like that.
- 11:55Speaker 3: I have no idea. It's the only white sock I
- 11:58Speaker 3: could think of. Oh my god, did they win a
- 12:00Speaker 3: World Series recently? No, two thousand and five. Right.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Of all the teams you're talking about, though, the only
- 12:07Speaker 1: one of them I feel that has won multiple.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Championships at nineteen ninety seven, The Marlins.
- 12:15Speaker 4: Somehow never going to win another one, like, oh, those
- 12:17Speaker 4: days are passed.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Yes, ninety seven, they deserve to win it.
- 12:20Speaker 1: O three is something you'll never see again, right, Jack
- 12:23Speaker 1: mckeeon they fired their manager mid season. Trader Jack came
- 12:26Speaker 1: in at eighty seven years old, a young eighty seven,
- 12:30Speaker 1: and he managed that team along with mcgal cabrera. Yeah,
- 12:33Speaker 1: he's still with us, right Jack mckeony. I hope so,
- 12:36Speaker 1: Trader Jack.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I believe he is.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Th man he lived. Yes, he still works for the team.
- 12:43Speaker 3: I believe ninety five.
- 12:44Speaker 1: He's ninety five. A young ninety five though, right Taylor
- 12:49Speaker 1: put it on the polls. There's such a thing as
- 12:51Speaker 1: a young ninety five.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Be sure to catch live editions of Stu Godson Company
- 12:55Speaker 2: Live weekday said three pm Eastern twelve pm Pacific on
- 13:00Speaker 2: Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna ask for audience participation for is It Just Me?
- 13:09Speaker 1: Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. We did this
- 13:12Speaker 1: once and we decided it was a good idea, and
- 13:14Speaker 1: so here we are playing it a second time.
- 13:16Speaker 3: In less than a week.
- 13:17Speaker 4: Either way, it's a shame I can no longer one
- 13:19Speaker 4: hundred percent fully trust Isaac.
- 13:23Speaker 3: This, that and the third, is you hate that guy? Yeah?
- 13:26Speaker 4: I don't hate him.
- 13:26Speaker 3: How are he feels with our shirt off?
- 13:28Speaker 4: I just don't fully trust him.
- 13:32Speaker 1: I am told that Bordot Riccardo has Is it just me?
- 13:36Speaker 1: So let's start there. We'll go to board up Riccardo first.
- 13:40Speaker 1: We need the music though, and we need your phone
- 13:42Speaker 1: calls eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. That is
- 13:44Speaker 1: eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. Let's go to
- 13:48Speaker 1: bardout Ricardo, go ahead.
- 13:50Speaker 8: So there have been conversations on NBA Twitter about this recently.
- 13:53Speaker 4: But is it just me or there are too many
- 13:55Speaker 4: Jalen's playing in sports nowadays? No, it's just the NBA.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Ricardo.
- 14:00Speaker 4: I'm sorry, Bo riccard Wait, I shouldn't call you Bo Ricardo.
- 14:03Speaker 3: That's even worse. Wow, it's been a thing for a
- 14:08Speaker 3: while now.
- 14:09Speaker 4: In fact, my trainer U my leg trainer is different
- 14:13Speaker 4: from my rest of my body Jamis. He actually hates
- 14:17Speaker 4: the fact. He talked about this a while back that
- 14:18Speaker 4: there are so many Jalens in the NBA. And I
- 14:21Speaker 4: just recently heard a song that was written on Twitter
- 14:24Speaker 4: for Instagram whatever TikTok about too many Jalens in the NBA.
- 14:28Speaker 4: And yeah, it's all Jalen Rose's fault. It was a
- 14:30Speaker 4: great name. He came into the league as the first Jalen.
- 14:33Speaker 4: Every mother who ever had a child who watched basketball
- 14:36Speaker 4: in their lives named their kids Jalen. And now you know,
- 14:39Speaker 4: nineteen of them are in the NBA.
- 14:40Speaker 1: You can make the argument that Jalen Hurt should be
- 14:42Speaker 1: in the Hall of Fame just on name alone.
- 14:44Speaker 4: I mean you could, Yeah, although he's in the wrong league.
- 14:47Speaker 3: What are you shaking your head about, Taylor?
- 14:49Speaker 5: I mean I said, you could make the case that
- 14:51Speaker 5: Jalen Rose should be in the fame for what he
- 14:53Speaker 5: did for the name of Joe.
- 14:54Speaker 3: I said, Jalen hurts. I don't think Jalen Rose is
- 14:56Speaker 3: a Hall of Famer.
- 14:57Speaker 1: I heard what you said, and I canceled it, and
- 15:00Speaker 1: I said, Jalen hurts because Jalen hurts. That is a
- 15:02Speaker 1: great name for a quarterback. It is for a football player.
- 15:05Speaker 1: He hurts, but he has it's a great name.
- 15:08Speaker 4: But Jalen is the first Jalen and that created all
- 15:11Speaker 4: these other.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Guy But there are too many Jalen's right, Wattle Hurts.
- 15:15Speaker 3: I mean this and that enough.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Williams, Jesus Ramsey, Yeah, figure out another name, Let's go
- 15:22Speaker 1: to Taylor.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Taylor, go ahead. Is it just me?
- 15:26Speaker 5: Or is Kyler Murray going to be the clear best
- 15:28Speaker 5: quarterback available this free agency to the Jets.
- 15:31Speaker 4: I don't know where people lost it entirely with Kyler
- 15:36Speaker 4: Murray because the.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Guy had, well, he's a ridiculous talent.
- 15:40Speaker 4: But it was always like you, there's things that you
- 15:42Speaker 4: watch and you say, Okay, maybe we can coach that
- 15:45Speaker 4: out of him. But it was never like a two
- 15:48Speaker 4: a tongue of iola situation where I thought that guy
- 15:51Speaker 4: is not good at quarterbacking. I just thought maybe it
- 15:53Speaker 4: was different teammates, maybe different coaches, maybe different offensive line.
- 15:57Speaker 4: But the guy has a ridiculous amount of skill.
- 16:00Speaker 7: The problem is that even before he was drafted, the
- 16:03Speaker 7: question was how much does he love football? Because he
- 16:05Speaker 7: was gonna go play baseball. He was drafted by the
- 16:07Speaker 7: A's and then when you actually have to build into
- 16:10Speaker 7: a contract that he has to study a certain amount
- 16:13Speaker 7: of times, it's a stink that will never go away
- 16:16Speaker 7: on him until he wins.
- 16:19Speaker 5: This is a different game, I'm just saying. But I'm
- 16:22Speaker 5: just saying, Malik Willis at thirty plus million dollars versus
- 16:26Speaker 5: Kyler Murray at the VET minimum. I'm taking Kyler Murray.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm just saying I agree with you. I do. Yeah, Yes,
- 16:34Speaker 3: Is he have one for us?
- 16:36Speaker 4: I did have one for us. I am one of
- 16:39Speaker 4: you as much as he don't think I am.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Do you want me to go to Mikey first?
- 16:45Speaker 4: Are not ready?
- 16:46Speaker 3: You're not there?
- 16:47Speaker 4: You're good? I'm all set, okay, because I feel like
- 16:48Speaker 4: I went out of order here, but that's not perfect.
- 16:50Speaker 4: Following Taylor?
- 16:51Speaker 3: Yes? Is it just me?
- 16:53Speaker 4: Or did Taylor really get America on the Charlotte Hornets.
- 16:57Speaker 4: He did because he met this team and he made
- 17:00Speaker 4: yesterday Stat's been updated their starting lineup when healthy twenty
- 17:03Speaker 4: and two. They just dismantled the Boston Celtics yesterday in Boston. Yeah,
- 17:09Speaker 4: and Taylor's been on this since before the Celts. The
- 17:12Speaker 4: Hornets started this big run and like last night was
- 17:17Speaker 4: just amazing. And then by the end when they're in
- 17:20Speaker 4: a complete blowout, you got Lamello Ball just shooting his
- 17:24Speaker 4: janky one legged threes and hitting them from like thirty
- 17:27Speaker 4: feet and you're just like, I don't know if this
- 17:30Speaker 4: team is ever gonna lose again. Like they've got there,
- 17:33Speaker 4: the level of talent is through the roof when they're
- 17:36Speaker 4: actually locked in. Yes, and you know last night they
- 17:39Speaker 4: were locked in.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Well, locked in and healthy when they're healthy to the
- 17:42Speaker 3: best team in the NBA.
- 17:43Speaker 4: Taylor, do you want to take credit for this? What
- 17:44Speaker 4: did you know that we didn't see?
- 17:46Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 17:47Speaker 5: That game says it was played at TD Garden. Yeah, yeah,
- 17:50Speaker 5: but it was played behind the Woodshit.
- 17:54Speaker 4: It absolutely was.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Man.
- 17:56Speaker 4: And when you mentioned that starting five yesterday, because like,
- 17:59Speaker 4: I know that number about the starting five, I've always
- 18:01Speaker 4: been like impressed with their talent. But man, when you
- 18:05Speaker 4: really think about it, Miles Bridges as your what fourth
- 18:10Speaker 4: best starter?
- 18:12Speaker 1: Yes, that's a hell of a starting line. That's why
- 18:14Speaker 1: Taylor said what he said.
- 18:15Speaker 3: I mean, so I have this stat too.
- 18:17Speaker 5: The Charlotte Hornets have won six consecutive games by fifteen
- 18:20Speaker 5: or more points. This streak is tied for the second
- 18:23Speaker 5: longest of its kind in NBA history, and is the
- 18:25Speaker 5: longest by any team since the twenty seventeen twenty eighteen
- 18:30Speaker 5: Golden State Warriors.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Buzzsaw.
- 18:33Speaker 4: Let me tell you this, who do the Hornets have next?
- 18:35Speaker 4: You know that Taylor, the heat, your Miami heat maybe
- 18:39Speaker 4: doesn't matter. You will see if they can beat the
- 18:43Speaker 4: surging Miami Heat, who will come in there, probably on
- 18:46Speaker 4: a three game winning streak after breating the Brooklyn next
- 18:49Speaker 4: beating the Brooklyn Nets again. That's hard to say.
- 18:52Speaker 5: What I think is gonna happen, is he these last
- 18:54Speaker 5: couple of weeks, teams are gonna position themselves.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Nobody wants to play the Hornets, right, nobody does? You're right?
- 18:59Speaker 4: I mean I think the Heat will take them in
- 19:01Speaker 4: the plane. You know that's Heat territory.
- 19:03Speaker 3: This is not a playing team. I mean this team
- 19:05Speaker 3: will be the four seed by the time the regular
- 19:07Speaker 3: season is done.
- 19:10Speaker 4: Look the whole point, Taylor, take credit. You were first
- 19:14Speaker 4: and this is your ship. You really pronounced that P.
- 19:18Speaker 4: There might take a lesson.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Mikey A did not drop the P last week on
- 19:29Speaker 3: the radio? Not hard? Yes, hard, Yes, mikey A. You
- 19:34Speaker 3: have one for us here.
- 19:36Speaker 7: Uh yeah, we're getting some calls and I still want
- 19:38Speaker 7: to hear Stu Gott's so mine will be quick today?
- 19:40Speaker 3: Is it just me? Or is toilet paper getting thinner?
- 19:47Speaker 4: I've been a as one of our sponsors, I believe
- 19:49Speaker 4: at Super Bowl wegu've been a big dude wipes guy
- 19:52Speaker 4: for several years now. So the quality of the toilet.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Paper itself not that important to do sales.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Is gonna clip that They're gonna send it to Dude Wipes.
- 19:59Speaker 1: You're gonna endorsing them.
- 20:00Speaker 3: For the rest of time.
- 20:01Speaker 4: Sharman's gonna send me.
- 20:02Speaker 3: To help.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Way eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. We'll get
- 20:08Speaker 1: to Josh in just a second.
- 20:09Speaker 9: Mo.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Is it just me? Or are they not making Excels
- 20:14Speaker 3: like they used to?
- 20:18Speaker 1: I keep walking in the stores and I keep demanding Excels.
- 20:21Speaker 1: And my wife looked at me one day and she said, listen,
- 20:23Speaker 1: I hate to break the news to you. You're a
- 20:26Speaker 1: double XCEL now. And I said, no, I'm always an EXCEL.
- 20:30Speaker 1: They're just not making them like they used to. I mean,
- 20:32Speaker 1: they're tighter.
- 20:33Speaker 4: Two things I can't relate.
- 20:35Speaker 3: I have no idea.
- 20:36Speaker 4: I haven't bought an Excel since eighth grade or a
- 20:39Speaker 4: double Excel back then.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Me neither, but I purchased a medium yet.
- 20:44Speaker 4: It's all mediums. Maybe, but you definitely, definitely, in the
- 20:53Speaker 4: history of time have never ever ever been a double
- 20:56Speaker 4: XL Like, I don't know what people think you look like.
- 20:59Speaker 4: That's because using them on you are not a double XL.
- 21:03Speaker 4: I mean you're barely an Excel, so yes, they are
- 21:06Speaker 4: definitely not making them like they used to.
- 21:08Speaker 3: If you don't fit into an.
- 21:08Speaker 5: Exit, you know who's the guiltiest of this European soccer
- 21:13Speaker 5: teams when I try to order jerseys from there, like Stu.
- 21:16Speaker 5: I got a jersey of Bournemouth to support Jim Provola
- 21:20Speaker 5: and I had to buy like a double xcel my
- 21:22Speaker 5: size normally I'm like in between a medium and a large,
- 21:25Speaker 5: and I'm wearing this double Xcel for this Bournemouth kit
- 21:29Speaker 5: and it's a little snug.
- 21:30Speaker 3: You could have stopped at Europe.
- 21:31Speaker 4: They're all to blame him over there, super skinny, but
- 21:34Speaker 4: he's right about that.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Like they think we're all built like Ronaldo.
- 21:37Speaker 4: I mean not all of us, but.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Like you, let's go to Josh.
- 21:44Speaker 1: It's Saint Louis, Josh, go ahead, you're on Fox Sports Radio.
- 21:48Speaker 10: It's judged me could from Mendoza be a bigger bus
- 21:51Speaker 10: for the Raiders than JaMarcus Russell.
- 21:54Speaker 4: Wow wait wait, wait wait wait, Josh, give me. I
- 21:56Speaker 4: need to I need some reasons why. I don't know.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I think he had a great coach, he had a
- 22:02Speaker 1: good system.
- 22:03Speaker 7: Does he make it plays yet? Be a big game
- 22:05Speaker 7: player again.
- 22:06Speaker 3: But Josh, don't give the reasons. He just I don't know.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I don't want to hear his reasons. He was just
- 22:12Speaker 1: he was playing the game and he beated your interest.
- 22:14Speaker 1: And now you have follow ups for.
- 22:15Speaker 3: Well, because what you always do, it's is it just me?
- 22:18Speaker 3: That's all. Yeah, he said, is it just me? Well,
- 22:21Speaker 3: it's just him.
- 22:22Speaker 4: That was gonna be my other answer. I don't know.
- 22:25Speaker 4: I need to know if there's something I was missing there,
- 22:28Speaker 4: And you know, maybe he's got a point. I doubt it,
- 22:32Speaker 4: but maybe he's got a point.
- 22:34Speaker 7: The knockout for Dandel Mendoza is that his floor is high,
- 22:38Speaker 7: but his ceiling is low.
- 22:39Speaker 3: It's not that he's going to fall off. It's just
- 22:41Speaker 3: that he might never be great, but he'll be good.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Well, guys, when you're selected number one in the NFL draft,
- 22:48Speaker 1: you better be great and not merely good and not
- 22:50Speaker 1: below average or not okay, you have to be great.
- 22:54Speaker 4: He's definitely not because of that floor, not going to
- 22:57Speaker 4: be JaMarcus Russell bad. Like he's not gonna a PTSD
- 23:01Speaker 4: for an organization.
- 23:02Speaker 5: So breaking yeah, breaking down that call. The problem was
- 23:05Speaker 5: the bar was set way too high. Can you be
- 23:08Speaker 5: a bigger bust than the biggest bust of all time?
- 23:10Speaker 3: Yeah? Probably not right.
- 23:11Speaker 1: He could be a bust, just not not to the
- 23:13Speaker 1: levels of JaMarcus Russell.
- 23:14Speaker 4: I'm watching I'm watching the video of the postgame press
- 23:17Speaker 4: conference with Shake Gildes Alexander and his I can only
- 23:22Speaker 4: call it a neck brace of fur. It's so in
- 23:25Speaker 4: his mouth that every word he says, you can see
- 23:27Speaker 4: the fur moving because his breadth is blowing it around.
- 23:31Speaker 3: That was that's got to be uncomfortable to wear. Let's
- 23:35Speaker 3: go to a Joe who's in Indiana today. Joe, go ahead,
- 23:40Speaker 3: you Joe.
- 23:41Speaker 2: How you doing?
- 23:41Speaker 1: Guys?
- 23:42Speaker 3: What's up? Joe?
- 23:44Speaker 2: Can you hear me?
- 23:45Speaker 3: Yeah? We got got you all right?
- 23:48Speaker 8: It just me? Or is recycling overrated?
- 23:52Speaker 3: Well? This is thank you, Joe, in and out. Maybe
- 23:55Speaker 3: that's how you play the game, Joe.
- 23:57Speaker 4: I said this the other day. I was wondering why
- 24:00Speaker 4: it a supermarkets where they sort of guilt you into
- 24:05Speaker 4: buying these non plastic reusable bags, but you go everywhere
- 24:08Speaker 4: else in the supermarket everything is wrapped in plastic. If
- 24:13Speaker 4: I have to save the world, the supermarket should have
- 24:16Speaker 4: to try and save it with me.
- 24:20Speaker 3: I'm sorry, big plastic. Oh god, I love this gime.
- 24:23Speaker 3: That was a great call. Really, that's the way we
- 24:26Speaker 3: want all the calls to be. Yeah, Bay in out.
- 24:29Speaker 3: No follow up from is he?
- 24:32Speaker 4: Although I don't even know if that was his name
- 24:34Speaker 4: because then when we said Joe, he then said Joe.
- 24:38Speaker 4: Did you hear that?
- 24:39Speaker 3: Yeah? A couple of Joe's in confused.
- 24:42Speaker 4: Yell your own name?
- 24:44Speaker 7: Where the two pros.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. That is eight
- 24:50Speaker 1: seven seven ninety nine on Fox.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Be sure to catch live editions of Stu Godson Company Live.
- 24:58Speaker 2: WHEAKDA said three pm Easter twelve pm Pacific.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Taylor put it on the pole please, was wearing that
- 25:07Speaker 1: jacket into the Mecca the most exciting thing SGA has
- 25:11Speaker 1: done in a basketball arena.
- 25:14Speaker 4: That's so mean. Why does it mean that man's a champion,
- 25:19Speaker 4: He's an MVP. He has done some amazing things on
- 25:22Speaker 4: the floor. Even if you know, you got to be
- 25:24Speaker 4: an avid basketball fan to understand how amazing it is.
- 25:30Speaker 3: But that was a hell of a fur it was.
- 25:33Speaker 3: I'm not certain if it was a jacket or not.
- 25:35Speaker 3: I don't know what it was.
- 25:36Speaker 4: Well, it did look like he was being choked by
- 25:38Speaker 4: a large animal, right, But it was both a jacket
- 25:42Speaker 4: and a neck brace of some sort yea, because it
- 25:46Speaker 4: wasn't quite a hoodie. I can't really describe it, but
- 25:50Speaker 4: it was very SGA. He's very much into fashion.
- 25:53Speaker 1: The Knicks lose last night to SGA. The Celtics run
- 25:57Speaker 1: into a buzz saw the Charlotte Hornets. I can't believe
- 26:01Speaker 1: I'm saying that. I know you have, I know, I
- 26:04Speaker 1: know Izzy and I will take a stroll down audio
- 26:07Speaker 1: avenue here in just a second, but I guess we
- 26:09Speaker 1: have to start with the bills.
- 26:11Speaker 3: That was news to me during the update.
- 26:13Speaker 1: I did not know that they acquired DJ Moore until
- 26:17Speaker 1: I delivered that update right there, and is he had
- 26:19Speaker 1: a slight reaction like, whoa DJ Moore bill?
- 26:23Speaker 3: Super Bowl?
- 26:24Speaker 4: No, I had a very slight reaction. You're right about that.
- 26:26Speaker 4: It was very slight. But it just makes me laugh.
- 26:29Speaker 4: How NFL is king, not just in Stu gots his mind,
- 26:33Speaker 4: but in general. Because right next to the DJ Moore news, yeah,
- 26:37Speaker 4: it was news that Jason Tatum is expected to make
- 26:41Speaker 4: his season debut on Friday. Tatum former NBA champion Jason Tatum.
- 26:46Speaker 4: Some people want to call him potential face of the
- 26:49Speaker 4: NBA is about to come back from a k But
- 26:51Speaker 4: DJ Moore, yes, wows chating teams.
- 26:54Speaker 1: I mean, that's big. That's the missing piece. That's the
- 26:57Speaker 1: piece Josh Allen needed until he kicked him out. Von
- 27:00Speaker 1: Diggs went to the Patriots, and now he needs a
- 27:02Speaker 1: veteran wide receiver back.
- 27:03Speaker 4: Okay, so why is that not the piece that Caleb
- 27:06Speaker 4: Williams needed.
- 27:07Speaker 3: It's a good question. It's it's it's a really good question.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Why did the bank the answer? Well, what's the answer, Mikey.
- 27:14Speaker 7: They drafted two wide receivers last year and they're cheap.
- 27:18Speaker 4: Yeah, So basically Josh Allen needs him more cheaper.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Yes, but what is Josh Watt?
- 27:24Speaker 1: Does he want to distribute the ball to a bunch
- 27:26Speaker 1: of no name receivers? Does he want big name receivers.
- 27:29Speaker 1: He's very confused. He's in scramble mode, just trying to
- 27:31Speaker 1: win a title.
- 27:33Speaker 4: I mean, does he want j Stefan Diggs is available
- 27:39Speaker 4: if he wants him back.
- 27:40Speaker 1: I actually saw a report where the Bills are considering
- 27:43Speaker 1: Stefan Diggs, which is laugh out loud funny.
- 27:46Speaker 4: I mean, he definitely needs a small city, a quiet
- 27:49Speaker 4: city to go back to and just like you know,
- 27:52Speaker 4: have everybody ignore him for a little bit.
- 27:54Speaker 5: Yes, I saw an interesting stat that so far DJ
- 27:57Speaker 5: Moore has only played on mammal teams. He's played on
- 27:59Speaker 5: the pair's, the Bears and now the Bills.
- 28:02Speaker 3: Huh, what'd you call that? Stet interesting? Do with that
- 28:07Speaker 3: what you will? We did, and we're asking you do
- 28:10Speaker 3: you want to rephrase it? I mean.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox, that's all we
- 28:17Speaker 1: have on DJ Moore to the Bills.
- 28:20Speaker 3: I'll start on top of the show.
- 28:22Speaker 4: Wow. Kind of interesting?
- 28:24Speaker 3: All right?
- 28:25Speaker 1: Well, Mikey answered the question that we both had why
- 28:28Speaker 1: Chicago get rid of him? And he's right, they have
- 28:31Speaker 1: younger wide receivers who are cheaper and that would be
- 28:34Speaker 1: the reason.
- 28:35Speaker 3: Is he you want to take a stroll?
- 28:36Speaker 1: It's been a while because we've all been going in
- 28:38Speaker 1: different directions and I haven't had a loan time with
- 28:41Speaker 1: you when you hate alone time with me, but I
- 28:43Speaker 1: like it with you and I want to hold your
- 28:44Speaker 1: hand and take a stroll down audio app Would you
- 28:47Speaker 1: like to go with me?
- 28:48Speaker 4: The reason I don't like alone time with you is
- 28:49Speaker 4: because you do make it weird by holding my hand.
- 28:54Speaker 4: I don't need to hold your hand. You're across the desk.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Well, I like holding your hands.
- 28:59Speaker 4: Did we want to go down Audio Avenue because there's
- 29:02Speaker 4: something on this got I love the beginning of this show.
- 29:04Speaker 4: It's amazing to me how we just figure out what
- 29:06Speaker 4: we're doing at the very top on the fly.
- 29:08Speaker 1: We've done two shows already today. This is the third show.
- 29:10Speaker 1: We figure it out on the fly. That's how we
- 29:12Speaker 1: roll around here.
- 29:13Speaker 4: But there's a topic on this prep sheet that has
- 29:16Speaker 4: been just yelling at me. I'm very curious because I
- 29:21Speaker 4: don't know anything about it because I've been off Twitter
- 29:23Speaker 4: for a couple of years now, right, and I might
- 29:25Speaker 4: need Taylor to explain this to me. Maybe Mikey. But
- 29:28Speaker 4: apparently Adam Schefter and Mike Florida are going after each
- 29:31Speaker 4: other on Twitter.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Oh really, I don't need to know the story. I
- 29:34Speaker 3: side with Schefter.
- 29:39Speaker 4: I mean, if dims boy, I side with Schefter.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Okay, Schefter's my boy. I side with Schefter. Florio. I
- 29:45Speaker 1: like Mike he's but he's a bit crazy. Taylor, do
- 29:50Speaker 1: you have the story here on this beef with Florio
- 29:52Speaker 1: and Schefter or Mikey a either one of you? Because
- 29:55Speaker 1: until as he said it. I was not aware there
- 29:57Speaker 1: was a beef between Adam.
- 29:58Speaker 3: Schefter and if I shouldn't have, I'm sorry. It's okay,
- 30:01Speaker 3: we'll get to audio adage just a second. What is
- 30:04Speaker 3: the beef here? We're very prepared today. Go ahead, Mike.
- 30:06Speaker 7: Yet, so the beef is essentially everything, Adam Schefter writes.
- 30:11Speaker 7: Mike Florio wants to double check, and Adam Schefter went.
- 30:19Speaker 3: You could tell, you can tell what side of this
- 30:21Speaker 3: I'm on.
- 30:23Speaker 7: Adam Schefter said out a tweet about Carnal Tate's forty times,
- 30:28Speaker 7: saying that it was in the four five, four six range,
- 30:32Speaker 7: and Florio writes a piece saying that there's disparity because
- 30:37Speaker 7: Schefter is lying, saying that it's four to six when
- 30:40Speaker 7: it was really something else. And then Schefter responded to
- 30:44Speaker 7: the article on Twitter with a bunch of screenshots from
- 30:48Speaker 7: scouts where he asked them the question what time did
- 30:52Speaker 7: you have on Cardinal Taits and they were all in
- 30:55Speaker 7: this range, Schefter had said.
- 30:58Speaker 4: And he said, I just found it, and he said,
- 31:00Speaker 4: just to prove you wrong, Comma again, Okay, I am glad.
- 31:09Speaker 4: I asked that is top of the show material? Just
- 31:13Speaker 4: me or do we care if Adam Schefter double checks that,
- 31:17Speaker 4: I mean, don't care. Also, at the game that we
- 31:20Speaker 4: are not playing yet, is it just me or is
- 31:24Speaker 4: the game that we debuted a little bit ago. I
- 31:26Speaker 4: think we're gonna put a little bit of bells and
- 31:28Speaker 4: whistles on it, but we're not playing just yet.
- 31:30Speaker 5: All right, He's definitely gonna reuse that though.
- 31:33Speaker 3: Noah, Yeah, yeah, it's a preview. Wait, we have to
- 31:36Speaker 3: come up with more than one. Yes, I'll call the well.
- 31:40Speaker 1: As he was telling me before the show, these are
- 31:41Speaker 1: difficult to come up with on a daily basis, And
- 31:44Speaker 1: I said, we're not doing it on a daily basis.
- 31:45Speaker 3: It's weekly. That's all right, Yeah, still difficult.
- 31:51Speaker 1: All right, let's get to uh, let's get to audio
- 31:53Speaker 1: ab real quick because I have some sound is he
- 31:55Speaker 1: that I think you will find?
- 31:56Speaker 3: Uh, you will find interesting, or at least I hope
- 31:58Speaker 3: that you do.
- 31:59Speaker 1: Okay, So we're strolling down audio Avenue here, and the
- 32:02Speaker 1: first stop we're gonna make it my hand is sound
- 32:05Speaker 1: from Russell Wilson. If you remember, he was on Busting
- 32:09Speaker 1: with the Boys, their podcast. If you remember, Sean Payton
- 32:12Speaker 1: earlier this season, took a shot at Russell Wilson. And
- 32:15Speaker 1: here is Russell Wilson's chance to respond three months later.
- 32:18Speaker 8: I don't say much. I never hardly ever say anything.
- 32:20Speaker 8: I think there's a time and place. But sometimes you
- 32:22Speaker 8: get fatigued of people talking about you. You just see,
- 32:25Speaker 8: like you mentioned, you're all human, you know. But it's
- 32:27Speaker 8: one thing for people that maybe aren't in the field
- 32:30Speaker 8: or aren't you know, you know, people say bots or whatever,
- 32:34Speaker 8: talking like I don't worry about that stuff. But to me,
- 32:36Speaker 8: when you've been in the ring, or you've been you know,
- 32:39Speaker 8: on the same side, and this and that, and I
- 32:42Speaker 8: got the same amount of rings as you got, meaning
- 32:44Speaker 8: Sean listen, I got a lot of respect for him
- 32:46Speaker 8: as a play caller this and that. But to take
- 32:48Speaker 8: a shot, I don't. I don't like, you know, I
- 32:50Speaker 8: don't think it's necessary, you know. I mean, especially when
- 32:52Speaker 8: I'm not even on your own team anymore. It's not
- 32:54Speaker 8: that a matter of disrespect. Just don't disrespect me.
- 32:57Speaker 3: He did the ring thing. I mean.
- 33:00Speaker 4: That first of all. My first thought when I heard
- 33:02Speaker 4: that as we stroll, Yeah, he sounds a lot like Tua.
- 33:06Speaker 4: He does, doesn't he sound just like the first few words.
- 33:09Speaker 4: I was like, is that Miami's quarterback. I thought his
- 33:13Speaker 4: entire goal there was to give the backhanded compliment of
- 33:19Speaker 4: I respect him as a play caller this and that,
- 33:23Speaker 4: like not a head coach, not like very not an
- 33:28Speaker 4: offensive coord a play caller, Yeah knows when to call
- 33:31Speaker 4: the play, this and that. Yeah like that. But it didn't.
- 33:34Speaker 4: It's very Russell Wilson in that is. Yeah, it didn't
- 33:37Speaker 4: actually say anything, right, he.
- 33:39Speaker 3: Never said a word.
- 33:40Speaker 4: He never actually said anything there. But yet he put
- 33:43Speaker 4: on his tough guy voice for it, so you knew
- 33:44Speaker 4: he was angry.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Put it on the Paul Taylor. Has Russell Wilson ever
- 33:48Speaker 1: said a word? He's played himself out of the Hall
- 33:52Speaker 1: of Fame. I can tell you that much. Let's stroll
- 33:54Speaker 1: down the street a bit here and uh we'll come
- 33:57Speaker 1: up on Miami of Ohio head coach Travis Deel's house.
- 34:01Speaker 3: He held a.
- 34:01Speaker 1: News conference to respond to the criticism from one Bruce Pearl.
- 34:07Speaker 3: Here it is I like Bruce, I do, and Bruce
- 34:10Speaker 3: great guy.
- 34:11Speaker 9: I'm not calling Bruce and asking him for his opinion
- 34:13Speaker 9: on our team.
- 34:14Speaker 3: All respect that Bruce.
- 34:15Speaker 9: Bruce is a way better coach than I'll ever be.
- 34:17Speaker 9: All Right, like a he's a Hall of Famer, he's.
- 34:19Speaker 3: Won everywhere he's been.
- 34:21Speaker 9: Got to worker, I could care, that's what back he says.
- 34:25Speaker 3: A second.
- 34:27Speaker 4: I mean, it's pretty contradictory, is it not.
- 34:29Speaker 3: Well, yeah, yes, that was a giant with all due respect. Yeah,
- 34:35Speaker 3: that's all that sound bite was.
- 34:36Speaker 7: It was all a big with all due respect.
- 34:39Speaker 3: Shut up.
- 34:40Speaker 1: When you start the sentence with I like, Bruce, you
- 34:42Speaker 1: know something bad is coming on the back end of it.
- 34:44Speaker 3: Right, Well, here's the thing.
- 34:46Speaker 4: If he is indeed a way better coach than you,
- 34:50Speaker 4: a Hall of famer, you should be calling them. Of
- 34:52Speaker 4: course you should care what he thinks about your team.
- 34:55Speaker 4: It's like, hey, not only do I want to know
- 34:57Speaker 4: what you think about my team? Give me some dude,
- 35:00Speaker 4: you're clearly better than me.
- 35:02Speaker 9: Is he?
- 35:03Speaker 5: What you're missing though, in this equation is Bruce Pearl
- 35:06Speaker 5: is arguing on behalf of Auburn. And then you're like, wait,
- 35:10Speaker 5: why is he arguing on behalf of Auburn?
- 35:11Speaker 3: He left them?
- 35:12Speaker 5: Oh yeah, he retired very conveniently right before the season started.
- 35:17Speaker 5: So his son took over as head.
- 35:18Speaker 3: Coach, right right, right, Okay, deserved.
- 35:25Speaker 1: So he's so, I know, but pick on another team,
- 35:28Speaker 1: like the idea of Miami of Ohio being undefeated this
- 35:30Speaker 1: late in the season. I know the schedule is bad.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Even if they lose a game, they don't win their
- 35:34Speaker 1: conference tournament. That should be a team that's in the
- 35:37Speaker 1: NCAA tournament.
- 35:38Speaker 4: Yeah. The thing about Bruce Pearl that drives me. I
- 35:40Speaker 4: don't know what this is, but if is this true
- 35:44Speaker 4: for any of you guys, If somebody is too comfortable
- 35:48Speaker 4: with their shirt off, is that somebody who can really
- 35:51Speaker 4: trust In the same way, I can never fully trust
- 35:54Speaker 4: somebody who says this phrase, this, that and the third.
- 35:58Speaker 4: Anybody who says this and the third, there's something I
- 36:02Speaker 4: don't one hundred percent trust you. And so Bruce Pearl,
- 36:06Speaker 4: who's been famously caught on camera, you know, at games
- 36:08Speaker 4: at Tennessee, I think shirt listed, if you are way
- 36:11Speaker 4: too comfortable with your shirt off, I don't one hundred
- 36:14Speaker 4: percent trust you. I almost think I know what Taylor's about.
- 36:17Speaker 3: To say, though he's not saying anything. Oh, I thought
- 36:22Speaker 3: you were about to say something. I'll say it, go ahead.
- 36:24Speaker 4: What I'm pretty sure is he's the one I know.
- 36:26Speaker 3: That's more.
- 36:27Speaker 4: I was just about to say, as he should be. Yes,
- 36:31Speaker 4: what was going through my head is I'm not very
- 36:33Speaker 4: comfortable with my shirt off. But then I said to myself,
- 36:35Speaker 4: oh yeah, there are pictures on the internet that would
- 36:37Speaker 4: say the opposite.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Do you know.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Do you know what me and Mikey would give to
- 36:41Speaker 1: look like you? I mean I would never wear a shirt,
- 36:45Speaker 1: not enough to do anything about it, but a few bucks, right,
- 36:51Speaker 1: we control the outcome, and I just keep having heaters
- 36:55Speaker 1: in the parking lot.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Jesus Christ. I mean, I take looking like board op Ricardo.
- 37:01Speaker 3: I would Wow. He just said, hey, yeah, they're backhead.
- 37:07Speaker 3: I mean.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Thanks, Uh, let's go to Uh, let's stroll down the
- 37:11Speaker 1: street a little bit, I is he You'll love this.
- 37:13Speaker 1: This is a free agent quarterback Aaron Rodgers, of course,
- 37:16Speaker 1: on the Pat McAfee show, the only show he appears on.
- 37:19Speaker 1: McAfee spent millions to have Aaron Rodgers do an exclusive
- 37:23Speaker 1: weekend show and it was well worth it.
- 37:25Speaker 3: Uh.
- 37:25Speaker 1: Here's Rogers talking about staying in shape at this age.
- 37:29Speaker 10: I'm trying to stay fit. To me, it's harder when
- 37:30Speaker 10: you get older, so you kind of can't take the
- 37:33Speaker 10: same amount of time off as he used to. You know,
- 37:35Speaker 10: after so many seasons, I would take you know, a
- 37:38Speaker 10: few weeks off, a month off, month and a half now,
- 37:42Speaker 10: you know, now forty two. Just to stay in shape,
- 37:44Speaker 10: you gotta you gotta kind of always be doubted on
- 37:48Speaker 10: the diet and sleep and workouts if you want to
- 37:50Speaker 10: look the right way.
- 37:51Speaker 3: You know, I want to look good.
- 37:52Speaker 10: I want my wife to want to all the time.
- 37:56Speaker 3: Time.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Okay, you knew that we'll get the after of the
- 38:00Speaker 1: Pat McAfee show, because that's all it takes.
- 38:06Speaker 3: You're cringing.
- 38:07Speaker 4: There are so many things I want to say, but
- 38:09Speaker 4: I can't helpe.
- 38:10Speaker 3: Please say, yeah, I know what you want to say.
- 38:12Speaker 4: I can't say any of those things. But what I
- 38:14Speaker 4: will say, right, you can't talk about your wife until
- 38:19Speaker 4: anybody knows that she actually is a human bing bingo. Well,
- 38:24Speaker 4: nobody has ever seen this wife, and so nobody knows
- 38:28Speaker 4: who or what he's talking about.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Well, he addresses that in the next God here with mcavee.
- 38:33Speaker 10: Now I'm out of it. I don't want to be
- 38:34Speaker 10: back in it. I don't want to be a part
- 38:36Speaker 10: of that. I understand you know, when I play, If
- 38:39Speaker 10: I play that, there's scrutiny, there's a tension that comes
- 38:41Speaker 10: with it. But I'm I'm fully content on living a
- 38:45Speaker 10: private life. But you have people out there that say
- 38:48Speaker 10: about me and create these narratives and talk about my
- 38:51Speaker 10: wife and talk about this and that and search for
- 38:53Speaker 10: a wedding certificate and all this different. Like, we're not
- 38:57Speaker 10: living a public life. We're not going to now, not
- 39:00Speaker 10: in the future, not ever. When this is done, it's kaiser,
- 39:03Speaker 10: so say, and you won't see me. You won't see me.
- 39:06Speaker 10: I'm not doing TV.
- 39:08Speaker 3: He's talking to you, is he?
- 39:12Speaker 9: He?
- 39:13Speaker 4: I do not believe that somebody who loves attention this
- 39:16Speaker 4: much is just going to disappear. Whoever, Yes, if he
- 39:19Speaker 4: does disappear, it will be for the reasons and things
- 39:22Speaker 4: that I couldn't say earlier, is he?
- 39:25Speaker 5: When he says, when I'm done, you won't hear from
- 39:28Speaker 5: me ever again, I want him to promise.
- 39:30Speaker 4: That please, in fact, you want to retire today?
- 39:35Speaker 3: Yeah, that'd be great.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Listen, be careful tailor all right, Taho is right around
- 39:39Speaker 1: the corner staple there. Well, I do don't rogers, is
- 39:45Speaker 1: it Shyla buff Am? I saying that correctly. I'm asking
- 39:48Speaker 1: you guys, okay, And here is the best sound as
- 39:51Speaker 1: we stroll down Audio Avenue is he what a turn?
- 39:54Speaker 4: Where did we turn? Where we went from Aaron Rodgers
- 39:57Speaker 4: to Shila Buff.
- 39:58Speaker 3: We're in a cul de sac. We just got to
- 39:59Speaker 3: walk it around.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Yeah, and there's a Shila Buff's house right there next
- 40:05Speaker 1: to Aaron Rodgers house. He's working out because he wants
- 40:08Speaker 1: his wife to have sex with him. This is Shila
- 40:13Speaker 1: Buff talking about an encounter he had as a kid
- 40:15Speaker 1: with Mike Piazza.
- 40:16Speaker 9: I remember trying to get Mike Piazza's autograph. You know
- 40:19Speaker 9: what I mean, for my whole life, Mike Piazza, Were
- 40:22Speaker 9: you waiting outside the.
- 40:23Speaker 3: Every day this guy?
- 40:24Speaker 9: Bro?
- 40:25Speaker 3: So Yeah, we used to go to the Dodger games.
- 40:27Speaker 9: Big Brothers program used to get these tickets out. You
- 40:30Speaker 9: go Dodger game, Me and all of them dudes would
- 40:32Speaker 9: be sitting in the parking lot. Brent Butler always signed,
- 40:35Speaker 9: Adeo Nomo always signed. Mike Piazza just a coldaza.
- 40:39Speaker 3: You're a bro.
- 40:42Speaker 8: How many times do you think he rejected signing up?
- 40:44Speaker 3: Every day?
- 40:44Speaker 10: Bro?
- 40:44Speaker 9: I did it for I used to go out there
- 40:46Speaker 9: ninety times. Probably rejected me ninety times.
- 40:49Speaker 3: So what it did was.
- 40:50Speaker 9: I'm gonna sign them all. So when I got on,
- 40:52Speaker 9: it was like yo, Mike Piazza.
- 40:56Speaker 4: He sounds like a well adjusted human.
- 40:59Speaker 3: I agree with them, though it is a good point.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Yeah, we signed the kids ball eight seven seven ninety
- 41:07Speaker 1: nine on Fox. That is eight seven seven ninety nine
- 41:09Speaker 1: on Fox
